“How is the Vineyard of my heart?” - Readings for 10/4/26
This Sunday’s readings are largely concerned with the vineyards.
The first reading talks of a vineyard that has been cleared of stones and weeds, but it does not produce a fertile crop.
How is the vineyard of my own heart, my own mind, my own spirit? Is it cultivated? Is it pruned of sin. Have I pulled out the brambles and the thorns and the briars?
Sr. Ann reflects on the Sunday readings:
Isaiah 5:1-7
Psalm 80:9, 12, 13-14, 15-16, 19-20
Philippians 4:6-9
Matthew 21:33-43
