The Detroit Lions are stacking their defense with fresh talent, including undrafted rookie Eric ONeill, a Rutgers defensive end who’s impressing head coach Dan Campbell with his hustle, smarts, and playmaking ability. Despite being a long shot to make the final roster, ONeill’s consistent production — 37 tackles, 9.5 TFL, 2.5 sacks — and versatility (possibly as an outside linebacker or pass-rushing DE) have caught Campbell’s eye.
