- 0:02Silver investors ready for some good news, and I have that for
- 0:05you this morning, $330 silver. We're going to talk about that.
- 0:10But first let's check on the silver price right now because
- 0:14unbelievably, we had a awesome night last night.
- 0:19Let's go out the pin backs and just do a quick update on the
- 0:22gold and silver price. Wow gold $2350 Silver $30.40.
- 0:31We are moving in the right direction and guys this live
- 0:34stream. This video is not possible
- 0:35without the support of our sponsors, including Pimbex, Pi
- 0:40MB, EX. Next time you're looking to buy
- 0:42some gold, silver or platinum, checkout pimbex.

- 0:49their prices are hard to beat. You really will get more metal
- 0:53for your money with Pimbex. But let's move over here to the
- 0:59other important news of the day. So we know silver's up in the
- 1:03United States, but what do you say we head over to China?
- 1:06Or would you believe me if I told you, my basement dweller?
- 1:10And by the way, thank you for being here.
- 1:13Our sponsors are important, but none of this would be possible
- 1:16without you. Number one, you're number one.
- 1:19I hope you feel like you're part of a group when you're here in
- 1:22the basement because you are like you found a new home where
- 1:25we love a little home, a little basement where we love to talk
- 1:29about silver and gold. But let's go over to China just
- 1:32to get an update. What's going on with the silver
- 1:36price in China? Our good friend here, the
- 1:38Oriental Ghost, who will someday be a guest here in the basement,
- 1:42shows us look at this guy's silver AG on the Shanghai Gold
- 1:47Exchange, $34.24, up 3.5%. OK.
- 1:56And just as good, if not a little better, on the Shanghai
- 1:59Futures Exchange, $34.29, up 3%. Looks like the vault levels are
- 2:05still significantly low, low. So we'll keep an eye on this,
- 2:10but it's becoming very interesting to see what is
- 2:14happening. They're calling this the
- 2:17arbitrage between the US markets.
- 2:20In the Chinese markets, which are accounting for this massive
- 2:23difference, why all these it look, think about it.
- 2:26If you could buy silver in the United States for $30.00 an
- 2:30ounce and ship it over to China and sell it for $34 an ounce,
- 2:34don't you think there's some profit oriented traders out
- 2:38there who are doing just that and doing just that right now
- 2:42the metal is moving to the East, but what about $330 silver?
- 2:47I was thinking last night and I want to share this with with you
- 2:50as I looked at our good friend and we're going to talk more
- 2:54about this later. And by the way, guys, in a few
- 2:56minutes here we're going to be joined by Adam Van, possibly,
- 3:00possibly a fan favorite also Pat Holland from the Missouri
- 3:04Freedom Initiative and Daniel Diaz.
- 3:06They're at a big festival going out in New New Hampshire, and
- 3:10they've got a lot of crate. We're gonna talk about, we're
- 3:13gonna talk about the Fed. We're gonna talk about gold and
- 3:15silver. We're gonna talk about it all.
- 3:17It's gonna be great. That'll be just in a few
- 3:19minutes, but. Before we oh, hold on.
- 3:23Sorry about that. Before we get to that, let's
- 3:26talk about $330 silver. Yeah, OK, here we go.
- 3:31We're gonna go to the US debt Glock, one of our favorite,
- 3:34favorite, favorite. Where's the secret door?
- 3:37I can't find it anymore anyway. OK, sure.
- 3:41Look, soon, soon we're going to be able to celebrate 30, nice
- 3:44round Number, $35 trillion in debt.
- 3:47But that's not what we're going to talk about.
- 3:49We're talking about the silver price and how we get the 330.
- 3:53Here is the dollar to silver ratio.
- 3:57It's going up, guys. What that means that measures
- 4:01for each oz that's dug up out of the ground every year, each
- 4:05ounce of silver, one ounce. For each one ounce, there's $165
- 4:12of new money being created. Unicorn fart dust, paper money,
- 4:16whatever you want to call it. It takes the M2 money supply,
- 4:20which is right here. You can see my yellow finger.
- 4:23OK, it it that it takes the growth, as you can see, that's
- 4:28going up and up and up. That takes the 165 is the growth
- 4:32in the M2 money supply and that's divided by the number of
- 4:36Oz of silver being produced annually.
- 4:39So again, for each one ounce of silver that the mining companies
- 4:44are able to produce each year. There's 165 paper Unicorn fart
- 4:50dust electronic Fiat. Whatever you want to call it,
- 4:54Keynesian fractional reserve banking dollars being created.
- 4:58Now how did I get to 330 dollars?
- 5:00Well, it dawned on me last night and I'll be interested to get
- 5:03your take on this as well. Half of that silver and likely
- 5:07even more that's coming out of the ground is being sucked up
- 5:12and and being taken away for good, right?
- 5:14Being used in the defense industry.
- 5:16We have no idea how much silver is actually used in the defense
- 5:21industry. We know hundreds of millions of
- 5:24Oz being used by the photovoltaic, right, the solar
- 5:28energy industry. What about the the the all these
- 5:32artificial. So anyway, half half of that
- 5:34silver is being used up. So I think the number is
- 5:38actually twice the 165 if you account for the fact that half
- 5:44of that silver right probably at least it's coming out of the
- 5:48ground is going bye bye for good.
- 5:50That's how we get to 330 dollars silver, if not even higher.
- 5:56I mean, let's be real, we know people like I heard Lynette Zang
- 5:59when she was on my show and I've heard her say it recently
- 6:01several times, is talking about the prospect of $2000 silver.
- 6:07When you account for all the debt in the system, when you
- 6:10account for what it would take to really back all the all the
- 6:15make believe synthetic money, that credit that's out there,
- 6:19you're easily looking at silver prices that could go way, way
- 6:22higher. I think silver could go to
- 6:23Infinity, right? And I know I get, I get
- 6:27criticized sometime for saying that, but if you're going to
- 6:29measure it in something that has an infinite possible supply, the
- 6:35price is infinitely possibly high as well.
- 6:39So lot, lot going on there. Other big, big story breaking,
- 6:43breaking yesterday. OK, what financial crisis?
- 6:47Remember the 2008 financial crisis?
- 6:49We got a big story breaking out of Japan.
- 6:52And I'm gonna I'm gonna give you some information.
- 6:55I got this from Rafi Farber at the end game investor.
- 6:59He wrote this Japanese bank, Norin Chukin is going to sell
- 7:03$63 billion of US bonds due to losses, right?
- 7:08The value of the bonds is cratered, Rafi said.
- 7:12That will probably trigger a bond selling avalanche from
- 7:17foreign treasury holders to front, excuse me, to front run
- 7:21the announcement, right? Other people are going to hear
- 7:24like, Oh my gosh, this big Japanese bank.
- 7:26But it gets, it's very interesting when you consider
- 7:28this. They hold about 20% of all
- 7:31foreign bonds held by Japanese banks, 20%.
- 7:35This is a big deal, a big bank. And I think Rafi even said,
- 7:37like, I never heard of it till yesterday.
- 7:40That's what a Black Swan is just saying, right?
- 7:43Never thought about this, never thought about that.
- 7:46Well, that's what this is. How do you think the banks in
- 7:49Japan holding the other 80% of the bonds are going to react to
- 7:55this news, right? You know, they're going to adopt
- 7:59probably nothing, is what he says jokingly, right?
- 8:01Because when the other banks know that the that the that the
- 8:05one of the biggest holders is going to be selling massive
- 8:08amounts of bonds. They're going to front.
- 8:10Run it. They're going to get out too.
- 8:12And think about this. Those other banks holding the
- 8:15other 80%, they also have major losses.
- 8:19So we got to keep a close eye on what's going on with this
- 8:22Japanese bank. This could be a major financial
- 8:27news event. And what do major financial news
- 8:29events, major financial new financial crisis when they when
- 8:33they pop up, what does that do right that that moves the price
- 8:37of silver and gold significantly higher.
- 8:40OK, you know what guys? I think the people I think our
- 8:45friends at are ready for us. Hold on a second.
- 8:48I'm going to put on. We're going to be joined here.
- 8:53Looks like I see Daniel Diaz. Let me see if I can pull up our
- 8:56friends from New Hampshire. Hey guys.
- 9:01Patrick. Hey, can you hear us OK?
- 9:03Yeah, we can hear you. Perfect.
- 9:04Hello. So we have and we have, we have.
- 9:07Well, let me we have Patrick Holland from the Missouri
- 9:09Freedom Initiative and we have Daniel Diaz from Citizens for
- 9:13Sound Money. How's it going guys?
- 9:15Good, good, and Adam will be here shortly.
- 9:17There's Adam. Yeah, we'll be here.
- 9:20We'll be joined by Adam Van from Alpine Gold.
- 9:24Yep, let me adjust the camera a little bit because we got Adam
- 9:27Van. Adam Van Yeah.
- 9:30Adam Van, the man, He's Mr. Goldback.
- 9:35That's right, Mr. Goldback and Pat, Missouri Freedom
- 9:38Initiative, right? Moving all this important
- 9:41legislation through the, through the process to, to give U.S.
- 9:46citizens the right, I'm sorry, state citizens the right to use
- 9:50gold and silver as legal tender. And you guys are up in New
- 9:53Hampshire. I was just showing the US debt
- 9:55clock a few seconds ago. We're gonna have, we're gonna
- 9:58have a big party soon because looks like we're gonna be
- 10:00hitting 35 trillion before we know it.
- 10:03I don't think it'll happen during our live stream here
- 10:06today, but it's gonna happen real soon.
- 10:08Very soon. Well, there's a storm coming
- 10:10today at 4:00. I think it may be related.
- 10:13There you go there you go so so so you guys are there big
- 10:17festival, Pork Fest 2024 Libertarian oriented festival as
- 10:22I understand and a lot of talk about gold and silver is real
- 10:27money. So when we look at this debt
- 10:29clock. Guys, and we look at what's
- 10:30going on with the debt clock and we look at what's going on with
- 10:33the Fed. And I've got a slide I want to
- 10:35share with all three of you here a little bit later regarding
- 10:39what Woodrow Wilson had to say about the Fed.
- 10:42What are you? What are you, what's your feel?
- 10:43What are you getting? What's your feeling on the
- 10:45ground there about how people are feeling about, I guess, the
- 10:48Fed, the monetary system, and how we can use silver and gold
- 10:52to to protect ourselves? Yeah, I think there's a lot of
- 10:55big fans here. I.
- 10:57Think there's a lot of. Reserve and I think they're
- 11:01really happy with the way that economics are going and the
- 11:04monetary system. I think it's overall a
- 11:06consensus. A lot of people here are are
- 11:10really into sound money of all types, gold and silver, bitcoins
- 11:16and and any kind of decentralization of the monetary
- 11:19system. So it's a very gold and silver
- 11:22rich environment. There's a lot of people here
- 11:25making gold. You have a, a couple silvermints
- 11:27that are here. We've got those little tabs that
- 11:32you break off there. There's just a lot of, there's a
- 11:34lot of sound money here. As far as the Fed, I think, I
- 11:37think that the cat came out of the bag back in 2008 with Ron
- 11:40Paul. He's also going to be at this
- 11:42event, I think on Saturday, he's going to be speaking.
- 11:46And I think the cat came out of the bag in 2008 whenever he kind
- 11:49of exposed the Fed for being a private company and, and this
- 11:52community specifically really took off with it and, and, and
- 11:57really made it stick. So a lot of folks don't realize
- 11:59that they're a private company and that they're influencing our
- 12:03monetary system. But that's, that's kind of the
- 12:06consensus around here is that the Fed is probably messing
- 12:08things up and that the, the real solution is sound money,
- 12:12decentralized sound money. Gold and silver is the ones that
- 12:15we like. We like gold and silver.
- 12:17And because that's a tangible physical asset that's accepted
- 12:21all over the world. And that's what we try to push
- 12:23here. Yeah, I, I agree.
- 12:26I mean, most of the people here are libertarians and
- 12:28hornarchical capitalists who just do not like Fiat currency
- 12:32in itself. You know, they, they, they talk
- 12:36about how we used to have money when the currency was backed by
- 12:39gold and silver. But immediately after we've had
- 12:41multiple conversations with people who have come into the
- 12:44sound money market tent, which Alpine Golden citizens who sound
- 12:48money has sponsored this year. It's which is right next to the
- 12:51mainstage where they have all the talking engagements.
- 12:54But pretty much the entire time that we've been here at Pork
- 12:57Fest, you know, this is not my first Pork fest.
- 12:59This is Patrick's first pork Fest.
- 13:01This is your 4th. I've been here about 6 * 6. 6
- 13:05Pork Fest. You know what?
- 13:06It's for us first timers. It's actually a lot less chaotic
- 13:10than we were expecting. I agree we're expecting a bunch
- 13:13of anarchists and libertarians who are rebellious, but that's
- 13:16not the case at all. They're actually, we're all,
- 13:18it's a kind of like our family here.
- 13:19Yeah, it's a real tight knit community.
- 13:21It's a lot of tribes. You know, you got the you got
- 13:23the homeschooling tribes, you got the sound money tribes, you
- 13:27got the Bitcoin tribes and the crypto tribes and we all just
- 13:30kind of get together. It's all it's it's unified under
- 13:34liberty and freedom. It's it's it's 2 to 3000 Die
- 13:38hard. Leave me alone.
- 13:39Yes, that that converge in Lancaster.
- 13:42And what I love is that most of the people here, there's over
- 13:461000 people. I don't know how many tents in
- 13:48RV but everybody's selling their own thing and they take gold
- 13:52backs. That's right.
- 13:53They take gold backs and they do barter like so the meat guy
- 13:56trades with the milk guy and, and different things.
- 13:58So we've got several small farms here that are raising eggs and
- 14:02they're raising meats. You can go to the top of the
- 14:05hill and you can go see the, the people from the domes and
- 14:08they've got a ton of meat up there that they're trading gold
- 14:10and silver for and cryptos and, and things like that.
- 14:13And the whole community is just set up that way is how it is.
- 14:18And we do it, we do it every year.
- 14:19And it's, it's, it's actually, it's not necessarily just this
- 14:23event. This is how a lot of New
- 14:24Hampshire works. That's, this is how a lot of the
- 14:26Free State project works, is that there's a lot of tribes in
- 14:29New Hampshire and they're all doing their own clique, you
- 14:32know, and, and leaving people alone and respecting boundaries
- 14:35and, and kind of just creating their own commerce in their own
- 14:39community. And, and there's a lot of
- 14:40barter. There's a lot of gold, there's a
- 14:42lot of silver trades. We've got, you know,
- 14:44silversmiths over in Goffstown, local silver mint, you know, and
- 14:49he's, he's always producing silver rounds and it's all part
- 14:52of a big barter system amongst the farms and the producers and
- 14:57we're all using sound money for that.
- 14:58So. OK, go ahead.
- 15:01So, so as I'm, as I'm hearing this, I'm getting this feeling
- 15:05like that little microcosm of what you have going on up there
- 15:09in New Hampshire actually represents people using real
- 15:14money, sound money as and then, and then when I look at the
- 15:18other one, I think of the other side of the equation, like where
- 15:21I am here right now in suburban Saint Louis with my, with my
- 15:24paper money or my electronic money.
- 15:26And I want to go to the grocery store.
- 15:28I want to go, you know, living the typical standard, let's say
- 15:33suburban life that, that everything I'm using is, is, is
- 15:38like credit and fake and nothing, right?
- 15:40And it's working for now. It's it's working for now
- 15:43because everybody believes in it, right?
- 15:46It's based on nothing but confidence and, and, and, and
- 15:50the value, the only value that it, it really represents is just
- 15:54that, that idea that it'll maybe worth something again tomorrow.
- 15:58Whereas when I think of what you're doing there now, dealing
- 16:02with real money, and I look back to how our country used to be,
- 16:07right, because we had over 150 years in this country where we
- 16:10did have our money backed by gold and silver, it feels much
- 16:15more organic, it feels maybe. Am I and?
- 16:18Correct me if I'm wrong here guys, but it feels like a much
- 16:20more fair level playing ground when I think of using, you know,
- 16:25real money and sound money is. That is that a safe assessment?
- 16:29I think so. So what you're describing is a
- 16:31is a debt based system. You're having to suffer with a
- 16:34debt based system. And that's fine if you're big
- 16:35into investing and you can outrun inflation.
- 16:38But when you work, you get traded your labor in paper
- 16:41dollars and then society owes you a debt.
- 16:44And that's what that that debt based note is for.
- 16:47And then whenever you come here and you trade in New Hampshire
- 16:49and you trade, you know, at Pork Fest, you're trading sound
- 16:51money. And sound money typically goes
- 16:54up in value over time. So your, your wealth and your
- 16:57labor is preserved in those precious metals.
- 16:59It's a deflationary currency. That's right.
- 17:01I'd like to say something real quick, Ron.
- 17:04We've been doing live streams here and I'm sure you knew about
- 17:07that. And what I, we have a camera
- 17:10that points towards, you know, Alpine gold because holy
- 17:14mackerel, it's, it's usually a steady stream of people coming
- 17:18in to buy gold backs. They know about gold backs here.
- 17:22It's a big deal. So it's a real honor, you know,
- 17:26that Citizens for Sound Money is partnered with Alpine Gold and
- 17:29to be in the same tent, that gets us a little bit of exposure
- 17:32too. But you know, that's Mr.
- 17:35Goldbach right over there, and he's very well known, very
- 17:37popular, and his table over here is very busy.
- 17:40Yeah, yeah. And I don't, I don't know if I
- 17:42introduced Adam when he came in, but Adam is with Alpine Gold up
- 17:45in New Hampshire. And if Pat, if Pat leans his
- 17:48head a little bit to the right, I think we can see the Alpine
- 17:50gold. Otherwise, there you go.
- 17:53Well, there's Alpine. There it is.
- 17:55OK. Thank you, Pat.
- 17:56Yeah, Yeah, yeah. So yeah, I'm, I'm, we're we're
- 18:00living in, yeah. A debt based system, Right.
- 18:03But there are pockets of our country, of our society that are
- 18:07waking up. And it feels like they're waking
- 18:09up more and more to this idea that you can use real money.
- 18:13Yeah, and I just wanna give a shout out to the Free State
- 18:16Project that's put on Pork Fest. This is technically the 22nd
- 18:21year. It's called Pork Fest 21 because
- 18:24the first Pork Fest they didn't really have a number.
- 18:27So it's considered Pork Fest 0 and you know, this pork Fest is
- 18:31like a microcosm of what they're trying to do with the Free State
- 18:33Project here in New Hampshire. For those that don't know, the
- 18:36Free State Project is a project that was voted on by
- 18:40libertarians around the world, around the country on where they
- 18:44which state they want to move to, to create a guess a
- 18:47libertarian society within a state and to take over state
- 18:51politics. And at Pork Fest because they're
- 18:54using sound money. And there are people throughout
- 18:57New Hampshire that use gold backs and silver.
- 19:01And for example, silver Eagles. We did at our first sale that we
- 19:04did was a silver eagle and we took it in at $2.00 over spot.
- 19:08Thanks to Adam Help me out with that that conversion ratio
- 19:11there. But and then we gave change in
- 19:14gold backs, you know, so this is a perfect microcosm of what a
- 19:18society could look like if we get back to sound money and you
- 19:22know, people trust it. You know, we we we joke around,
- 19:24yeah, we take dirty Fiat. But because everybody else here,
- 19:28they understand gold backs, they understand silver and they
- 19:31understand sound money. Bitcoin is a big thing around
- 19:34here. There's some people who only
- 19:35donated to citizens sound money because we believe Bitcoin is
- 19:39sound money as well, at least I do.
- 19:41And we promote the the community Bitcoin and the sound money
- 19:46crew. We where we agree with crypto,
- 19:48the crypto groups and the sound money advocates where we agree
- 19:52is that Fiat is is slavery. Fiat is hurting society.
- 19:57And because we agree on that, we promote sound money together.
- 20:01Bitcoin thinks they're the solution.
- 20:02Gold and silver believe they're the only solution, but we have
- 20:05common ground. I agree.
- 20:06I agree. I don't think it's the only
- 20:08solution. I think gold and silver is one
- 20:09of the pieces of the puzzle that's going to lead lead to all
- 20:11the freedoms. What we need is freedom.
- 20:14We need individual freedom and liberty amongst people, and
- 20:16that's what it's really about. Liberty is freedom from
- 20:19government and freedom is liberty from individuals.
- 20:21And if we can respect those boundaries, there's going to be
- 20:23lots of solutions that get us to the right answer.
- 20:26You segue into something interesting about the exchange
- 20:29rate of silver and gold. Whenever you're spending silver
- 20:31and gold, it's a different line of thinking.
- 20:33You got to think about it differently.
- 20:36What's it worth today? What's gold worth versus silver
- 20:39when you're doing trades and whenever you're buying goods?
- 20:42So over at their tent, they are over at their table over here,
- 20:45they had some things that someone wanted and they and they
- 20:48just had to kind of negotiate and barter a deal with it.
- 20:50But it's a different way of thinking.
- 20:52When you're thinking about your money and you're thinking about
- 20:55your electronic money, your debit cards and so forth, you,
- 20:58you get in this lazy habit of just spending and spending and
- 21:03spending and because it's the only thing you know and it's the
- 21:05only thing you do. But then when you're standing
- 21:07there in front of a product, in front of goods and services that
- 21:10you're trying to purchase, and you've got gold in your hand and
- 21:12you got silver in your hand and you got Bitcoin on your phone
- 21:15and you're, and you're talking to this individual about
- 21:17something they have that you want.
- 21:19Now you have to think about, OK, well, which one's going to work
- 21:21better? Is silver up?
- 21:22Is gold up? Is Bitcoin, you know, more more
- 21:26tradable? Sounds very free market to me.
- 21:28And you think about your money and your wealth totally
- 21:31differently because it's not automatic and you have to kind
- 21:34of put some thought into it and put some feeling into it.
- 21:37And it makes a big difference. It makes for a better economy
- 21:39whenever you have more options and more liberty and more
- 21:42freedom. And you know, talking of sorry,
- 21:46I'll. Just that's OK.
- 21:47I was going to say and, and, and the idea of being able to, I
- 21:50think Pat referred to this like go do some work, go earn some
- 21:54quote, UN quote money. But then at the same time, if
- 21:59you, if you're able to store that in silver and gold, you're
- 22:02not, you're not, it's not being eaten away by inflation year
- 22:05after year. And, and I, and I want to throw
- 22:08in another point as well as we were talking, you know, this
- 22:11idea of using silver and gold as, as real money.
- 22:16I think we, we tend to think that it like completely went
- 22:18away, but it didn't completely go away, right?
- 22:21I mean, over the, you know, over the last 100 years in the United
- 22:24States, I think it's been kind of on on many different levels
- 22:28diminished. So we feel like that in the USA,
- 22:31which probably is the reason why not a lot of Americans yet are
- 22:35using silver gold. But on the reality is in the
- 22:38world, gold and silver have always held their have always
- 22:41have always held their back over, you know, it really never
- 22:45went away. It went away.
- 22:46It went away in the United States.
- 22:48And I'm going to, I'm going to throw this one out there because
- 22:49I want to get your guys opinion on this number one, and I'll be
- 22:53quick on this one, but with, you know, the, the people up there
- 22:57at Pork Fest. And I'm going to pull the
- 22:58website up here in a second to show everybody what's going on
- 23:00up there. But in the people that are
- 23:02joining us today here in the basement for this live stream,
- 23:06we are a just a small sliver of the US population.
- 23:10And I, and I like to throw out this idea that that's actually a
- 23:14good thing because as you know, it's a lot easier to grow
- 23:18massively from a very small number to a bigger number.
- 23:22You know, if you go from one in a hundred people to let's say 5
- 23:25and 100 people, that's a 500% increase.
- 23:30And, and, and it's a lot easier to go from 5 and 100 from 1 in
- 23:33100 to 5 and 100 than it is to go from 25 and 100 to 50 and
- 23:38100. So we've got like a great
- 23:40opportunity because we're starting, I mean, we're like the
- 23:43elite, you know, like the Green Berets of the, of the financial
- 23:47world. It was as we're gold and silver
- 23:50stackers. But my question for you guys is
- 23:52this, you know, why do you think it is that that that most
- 23:57Americans, right? The other 99% that aren't at
- 24:00Pork Fest that aren't joining the state, Why are they?
- 24:04So I guess I'd, for lack of a better term, ignorant to the
- 24:09fact that silver and gold are real money like the people I
- 24:12bump into on the street. Yeah, that goes back to what you
- 24:15were saying. Like, why do Americans, I mean,
- 24:18mainly Americans, right? Because like people around the
- 24:21world, India or China, Russia, they still see gold as a sense
- 24:25of money. But in the United States,
- 24:26because the dollar is the primary currency, it was the
- 24:30global currency under the Bretton Woods system, which is
- 24:33backed by gold. And and that's we thought of
- 24:36gold as money until 1971. And then we have an entire
- 24:39generation of Americans or, or people who have primarily used
- 24:43the dollar that the, the dollar, they don't know anything but
- 24:48Fiat dollar. They know, they don't know
- 24:49anything but Fiat as currency or money, quote UN quote money.
- 24:52But it's not because, as we know, money and it retains its
- 24:57purchasing power while currency loses its purchasing power
- 25:01because of inflation. And Ron, you're right.
- 25:03We're the Green Berets out here. We're just as Green Berets.
- 25:07We're the AB seals maybe? We're AB Seals, yeah.
- 25:10Green Berets that are allergic to jogging is what that is
- 25:13supposed to charge here in New Hampshire.
- 25:16I think it came gold and silver came off the books in 1978.
- 25:20We went up to the Capitol and we were testifying for the Sound
- 25:23Money Act that Citizens for Sound Money was helping push
- 25:27out. It was a big effort by Keith
- 25:28Ammon and and Yuri that were from sponsoring the bill.
- 25:33And I think we made some good headway.
- 25:35We had a lot of really good conversations and good
- 25:36development. It ultimately didn't pass, but
- 25:39we we got some good development. And from that, from those
- 25:42conversations, we found out that gold and silver had only been
- 25:45taken off the books in 1978. So this isn't anything, you
- 25:49know, that's that. Old.
- 25:50It's not. It's not that unfamiliar.
- 25:53The day we were testifying, they were actually taking down the
- 25:55old gold and silver vault. It was right behind the building
- 25:58where we were testifying. And and I made kind of a joke
- 26:02about it saying, you know, you're tearing that down and
- 26:04here we are bringing it back. And but, but it's not that old.
- 26:08It's people around here do trade in gold and silver quite a bit.
- 26:12And, and it's not that unfamiliar.
- 26:14It was only, you know, a short time, just one people ago,
- 26:1719711978. It's just one person ago.
- 26:20Yeah. And you know, it's, it's
- 26:22interesting that you also mentioned Ron, that and
- 26:26typically people don't see gold and silver today as money, even
- 26:30gold bags. Like I was talking to Benjamin
- 26:34Schaefer of finance dot gold, that's Phi and ANC dot gold.
- 26:40He's a general counsel for them and it's an asset backed digital
- 26:44currency company that's going to do transactions.
- 26:46And he was talking about how in New Hampshire it is actually
- 26:51different than every any other state that purchases gold backs.
- 26:53Most people who buy gold backs use it as a store value and a
- 26:56savings or an investment. While here in New Hampshire they
- 26:59actually use it as currency. It is the most circulated state
- 27:02with gold backs for barter. So it's interesting that here in
- 27:06New Hampshire, which the liberty minded state that wants to get
- 27:10away from Fiat and and the enslavement of the of the
- 27:12current economic system, they're using gold and silver as
- 27:15intended as currency. Yeah.
- 27:17And we just started expanding that network too.
- 27:19So in New Hampshire we have over 100 businesses that are
- 27:22accepting gold and silver as payment, particularly with gold
- 27:25back. And we have a map of all the
- 27:27featured businesses and you can find that on alpinegold.com.
- 27:29And if and we just took over that program, we were only
- 27:32promoting the the states that had an actual live gold back in
- 27:36their state. But we Alpine Gold took that
- 27:38over. And you can now go and to
- 27:40alpinegold.com, click on resources and it's still a
- 27:43little fresh. We're still building it out, but
- 27:46we have resources there to where you can become a merchant, you
- 27:48can find merchants and and we're we're making it more readily
- 27:52available for the rest of America too.
- 27:54So in New Hampshire it's pretty common.
- 27:56Utah, it's very common. They.
- 27:57Wyoming. Wyoming, they're using it.
- 28:00South Dakota, we've got a branch in South Dakota that Brian runs
- 28:03for us. We've got 2-3 branches in Utah,
- 28:06one in Ogden Alpine and Provo. We're going to be putting one in
- 28:11Idaho. We're going to be put we're,
- 28:12we're putting branches in every state and it's going to become
- 28:15more and more common. And now we've just taken that
- 28:17over and made it a national program, too.
- 28:19I, I actually have a question for you, Adam.
- 28:22So let's say let because I know in Florida there are vendors who
- 28:26are wanting to take gold backs, but their concern is that they
- 28:28pay their bills in Fiat. You got you have the Alpine gold
- 28:32here in in Manchester is the process of let's say business
- 28:36owners is Alpine gold considered like a bank where they come and
- 28:39bring you gold backs and then you take that those gold backs
- 28:42and it gets deposited in the UP may they can convert that to
- 28:45Fiat so they can pay their electric bill and everything.
- 28:49How does that system work? We are not a bank.
- 28:51We are repository is what we are.
- 28:53We are repository or a deposit. It's, I don't know the
- 28:57difference between the R and the D, but, but we're a depository
- 29:00of some sort. And, and we do have a membership
- 29:03program called the United Precious Metals Association and
- 29:08that does offer similar services to what traditional banks offer.
- 29:11You can deposit, you can withdraw, you can invest in
- 29:14Iras, you can open interest bearing accounts and get 2%
- 29:18interest. And you can also get a debit
- 29:20card. And you can, and with that debit
- 29:22card you can liquidate and pay bills and things like that.
- 29:24But we're much, much more than just a, a gold vaulting
- 29:28services. We provide many different
- 29:30services for people. We do have that bank.
- 29:32We're not, to be clear, but a repository we are.
- 29:36I think my specific question was let's say these businesses,
- 29:39let's say in Florida, they start accepting you guys open up an
- 29:41Alpine gold in Orlando. If a business starts has a lot
- 29:44of gold backs that they need to liquidate so they can pay their
- 29:47electrical bill and their their stat won't go pay their staff
- 29:49and gold hopefully. And they take them to an Alpine
- 29:52gold location and then then that location would immediately add
- 29:57credit of those gold banks to their UPMA account so they can
- 29:59cash that out. Absolutely.
- 30:01And you don't have to go, you don't have to have an Alpine
- 30:03gold nearby. You can also mail it to us.
- 30:05Like there's other ways to get the gold to us.
- 30:07And then once it gets deposited onto your account, that's an
- 30:09international system, you know, that's, that's a dashboard, just
- 30:13like what you're used to with your traditional bank is, is
- 30:15what that is. But it's a UPMA, you know, user
- 30:19platform. It's a member to member
- 30:20Exchange. It's a 5O1C6 member to member
- 30:23exchange is what it is and and it does operate once you get it
- 30:26on your account, you can you, it's an international platform.
- 30:30You can, you can buy, sell, trade, you can exchange, you can
- 30:34get debit cards and you can pay your employees.
- 30:37You can pay if your employees have a UPMA account, you can
- 30:40transfer to them at gold and then they can, they can do to it
- 30:43what they want, You know, So what, the way I use it, I have a
- 30:46recreation club here and we accept all of our dues in
- 30:50Goldback is what we accept them as.
- 30:53And then anytime they're buying something from the, from the
- 30:56club store or paying their dues or anything like that, they're
- 30:58just transferring. They're just making a gold
- 31:01transfer into my account because they have an account and I have
- 31:03an account and they just do a transfer.
- 31:04And you can do the same thing in reverse.
- 31:06If I were a company and I were paying somebody some sort of a
- 31:09wage, if then you can also pay them through a transfer like
- 31:12that. Now your bookkeeping is going to
- 31:13change from state to state Here in New Hampshire, it's a little
- 31:16bit more friendly. You do have unemployment
- 31:19insurance that you have to manage, but there's no, there's
- 31:22no income tax. That things are a lot simpler
- 31:24here because there's no sales tax and there's no income tax,
- 31:26and that makes things a whole. Lot no income tax you're talking
- 31:28about no capital gains taxes. Is that right on gold and silver
- 31:31income? Tax Awesome, there's no income.
- 31:33There's no income tax and and again, there's no capital gains
- 31:36tax on gold and silver. OK, specifically Ron, let me
- 31:39give me a little bit of rope here to talk to our good friend
- 31:42Adam. If I wanted to deal in gold
- 31:46backs in the state of Missouri, is that a difficult process?
- 31:48Is that something that would be difficult for someone to do?
- 31:52Or let's say we have a friend in California, can they set up a
- 31:56gold backed business? Can you talk a little bit about?
- 32:00That they can absolutely set up a go back business and become a
- 32:03merchant and use the UPMA and all of the services that go
- 32:05along with it. How they do their bookkeeping is
- 32:07beyond me. It varies from state to state.
- 32:10You're going to have to get with your your CPA, your tax advisor
- 32:13in California and Missouri because I don't know what any of
- 32:16those laws are. I know Florida's more friendly
- 32:18because you guys don't have sales taxes.
- 32:21No, we have income. Tax.
- 32:22Oh, you don't have income taxes there, so capital gains.
- 32:24Tax. Yeah.
- 32:25So that's simpler. But you know, California, who
- 32:27knows what they've got, They're going to start, you know,
- 32:29providing they're cutting all the trees.
- 32:32What? No, they're burning all their
- 32:33trees down. They don't want to cut them
- 32:34down, so they burn them down. But in short, what they're
- 32:36doing. In short, anyone can actually be
- 32:39a dealer for gold backs. That's right.
- 32:41Okay, Ron, I think that was an important point to get across to
- 32:44your audience. Yeah.
- 32:45Ron, let's get it back to you. It's your show.
- 32:47Why don't? You it's OK guys, now it's, it's
- 32:51interesting and I know my, my audience has a, a keen interest
- 32:55in the gold back. So I appreciate you providing
- 32:58all that clarity. I wanted to, I wanted to touch
- 33:01on this because you know, you all three of you, Pat with
- 33:03Missouri Freedom initiative, Daniel with Citizens for Sound
- 33:06money and and Adam with Alpine gold.
- 33:10You guys are out there working to spread the to spread the word
- 33:15to kind of grow this the sound money gospel, right?
- 33:18You know, gold and silver, whether it's, whether it's
- 33:21physical, whether you know, 10 oz bars, one ounce bars, coins,
- 33:26gold backs, you know. What, what, what?
- 33:28We're trying to do is get the word out.
- 33:30I wanted to come back just briefly to something we talked
- 33:32about earlier because that's really I think as a silver and
- 33:35gold community, I think there's two things that we all want.
- 33:39We all want, we all want to be able to use silver and gold more
- 33:43functionally in our day-to-day transactions, but we also want
- 33:47the value, and I think especially with silver, the true
- 33:50value to be recognized. And you know, I wanted.
- 33:53To throw out a couple strong. Words because we we touched on
- 33:57this, but. I I feel.
- 33:58Like again, like we are the lone wolves out there, right?
- 34:01And there is so much opportunity for for for the for the our
- 34:05numbers to grow. Do you think right?
- 34:08Do you think, I guess it's a two-part question, but do you
- 34:12think that that if. We if we get hit.
- 34:14With another big wave of inflation and I think you know
- 34:18what is inflation if we're measuring the cost of goods and
- 34:21services and Fiat dollars, right, U.S. dollars, it's the
- 34:25the, the devaluation of the dollar.
- 34:28And I think it's inevitable that the dollar is going to go down.
- 34:31I think we went. Through a wave.
- 34:33Like a year ago, two years ago, right, where some people say
- 34:36inflation was as high as 20%. I, I and I want to get your
- 34:40input on this. I think that when we get this
- 34:42next wave of inflation, which just based on the monetary
- 34:46fiscal situation of the United States is inevitable.
- 34:49But then you on top of that, you lop in geopolitical worldwide
- 34:53changes with the bricks and everything else that are going
- 34:55on. Do you think that could be a
- 34:57major catalyst where where we see just a wave of because I
- 35:02think it's almost that old saying like fool me once, right?
- 35:05Like you fooled me once with inflation two years ago.
- 35:08And you know, the cost of of everything at at the grocery
- 35:11store doubled on this feels like over the last couple years.
- 35:15But that if that if that starts to happen again.
- 35:18I mean, we already saw it, right, with all these new
- 35:20stackers going to Costco to buy gold and silver.
- 35:23But do you think we could get another big wave of people kind
- 35:27of joining our ranks at that point?
- 35:29I I think, yeah, I definitely think so.
- 35:33We had an economist on our broadcast.
- 35:35So for those of you who are listening want to hear more
- 35:38about what we're doing at Pork Fest, we go live around 1212
- 35:42thirty today. We typically do about a three to
- 35:44four hour live broadcast. Yesterday we had an economist
- 35:47from the American Institute of Economic Research, AIER Jason
- 35:53Soren, and we were actually talking about the the financial
- 35:58crisis that's going on in real estate, residential and
- 36:01commercial. And there's over, and we've
- 36:04talked about this on your show before.
- 36:06Right now there's a lot of pressure on some of the largest
- 36:09banks in our country over 4000, not over.
- 36:11Just about 400 banks are in in unrealized losses, equalling
- 36:18$900 billion. Four of those banks, the top
- 36:21four has 400 billion of that $900 billion in unrealized
- 36:27losses and realized losses to in real estate.
- 36:30And those loans are, I said, coming due May and June of this
- 36:34year. And what's happening is, and we
- 36:37asked Jason, like, why do you think we're not really seeing
- 36:41many collapses? We saw in May Republic Bank of
- 36:44Pennsylvania collapsing. An article came out by the FAU,
- 36:49my alma mater, that there are 16 major banks that are insolvent
- 36:53right now. And the FDIC knows they're
- 36:56insolvent. The Fed knows that they're
- 36:58insolvent and they're trying to save the banks.
- 37:00What are they doing? They must be printing currency.
- 37:03They must be pumping currency into these banks to prevent them
- 37:06from collapsing. Because I mean, it's just not
- 37:09possible to have unrealized or actual realized loss and then
- 37:12have good returns and earnings on their on their reports every
- 37:15quarter. So something's happening to
- 37:17where they're not collapsing and that's gonna cause inflation.
- 37:20That's what caused inflation in O8, all the bailouts.
- 37:23That's what started inflation in 2020 with the the stimulus
- 37:28package where the over a trillion dollars immediately
- 37:31were get was given out in stimulus and also on PPP loans
- 37:35and other low interest business loans like just causing a influx
- 37:39of inflation and why we have so much inflation right now across
- 37:42the economy. In fact, I would even add to
- 37:45that by saying if it weren't for the repo and reverse repo
- 37:47markets, these banks would have failed a long time ago.
- 37:50Run. Yeah, yeah, I've, I heard in, in
- 37:54my backgrounds in accounting, I love this term.
- 37:57I heard it after the great financial crisis, right?
- 37:59The reality is we, we never really paid the price for the
- 38:03great financial crisis in 2008. And, and there's a term out
- 38:07there called Disneyland accounting.
- 38:10And that's what these banks get to do, right.
- 38:12As an old accountant that once stuck with me, It's, it's and I
- 38:15and, and I've heard some people say that it's actually almost
- 38:19all the banks are insolvent because they all bought
- 38:22treasuries at these lower rates. And that if, if, no matter what
- 38:26the bank is, if everybody showed up and wanted their money and
- 38:29they had to liquidate all their treasuries, they wouldn't have
- 38:32the money. There's not, there's not enough
- 38:34money there, right? So it's really just kind of a
- 38:36situation where we're sitting, you know, as long as everybody
- 38:40doesn't show up and want their money back, the banks can get
- 38:43don't have to recognize their unrealized losses because they
- 38:46can they can say that they're holding those treasuries till
- 38:50maturity, right? As long as they say that they
- 38:53don't have to recognize that they lost a boatload.
- 38:55And then on top of that, you touched on the commercial real
- 38:58estate situation and we have example after example even at
- 39:01yesterday I showed from the Silver Academy they had an
- 39:05article about. Buildings in New York City, in
- 39:08Manhattan. That are like now being being
- 39:11appraised at like half of what they were what they sold for
- 39:16just two or three years ago. And and those banks, you know,
- 39:19that's the other big, you know, ticking time bomb.
- 39:21I think it's important to this is not a banking show, but this
- 39:24does relate to silver and gold because it could have a major
- 39:27impact on the on the on the price.
- 39:29Daniel, you said something you touched on something, but I want
- 39:32to elaborate on it briefly here. Those loans, all those
- 39:36commercial real estate loans, they, they don't all come due at
- 39:40the same day, right? That's like a rolling process.
- 39:42So as those now are just starting to show up to be
- 39:46refinanced, that's when they they are forced to recognize
- 39:51that, hey, this building that we loaned $300 million on four
- 39:56years ago is now only worth, you know, 40 or 50% of the, of the,
- 40:01of the money we, we loaned out, we loaned out for it.
- 40:03Agreed. And you know, and there is a
- 40:05solution, a free market solution out there to to alleviate the
- 40:10pressures on the commercial real estate and it's converting some
- 40:13of these office buildings to residential or multi family
- 40:17units or condos. But the problem is you have to
- 40:19be local, local counties and local municipalities that this
- 40:23is what Jason Sorens, Jason Sorens was telling us is that
- 40:28they they don't have. They don't have.
- 40:35Sorry, I got distracted because there were people talking.
- 40:37They won't. They won't.
- 40:39The zoning, they, they, they don't have the right to zoning
- 40:42and the zoning laws and the restrictions that these counties
- 40:45and municipalities are putting on real estate is preventing
- 40:48the, the market from actually transitioning and trying to save
- 40:50some of these, these bad loans because they couldn't make it
- 40:53into residential because there's not enough low income because of
- 40:57the amount of inflation there is.
- 40:58Rents have increased. There isn't enough development
- 41:02right now to keep up with the amount of people who don't
- 41:05aren't making enough to pay rents.
- 41:08So rent have have skyrocketed. They've been being pushed out of
- 41:11their places. They've been living there for
- 41:12years because of landlords increasing the rent and now
- 41:17there isn't enough low income housing.
- 41:20And the solution is converting some of these office buildings
- 41:23to to residential condominiums or multi families.
- 41:28But the government's taking too long to make these changes to
- 41:32fix what's happening, so we're going to have a collapse because
- 41:36the government intervention is preventing the free markets from
- 41:38actually being able to come up with and solve the problem.
- 41:42Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I think it's it, a lot of it
- 41:45goes back to O eight that we never really fixed the problem
- 41:49back in 2008. Instead, we printed money and
- 41:53paper. We didn't, we didn't take the
- 41:55pain right. And even now I think that's we
- 41:58got we, you know, we, we the, the, the, the, the, the idea
- 42:01that our politicians would allow some pain to be felt.
- 42:06They just keep pushing it off into the future, pushing it off
- 42:10into the future. And Americans are walking
- 42:12around, right? Like, not us, not the people up
- 42:14there at pork Fest, right? Not, not you, Daniel, not you
- 42:17Patrick, not Adam, not me, but most Americans are walking
- 42:20around in the state of oblivion like, well, the debt doesn't
- 42:24matter. The banks don't banks are your
- 42:26money. That's it's that normalcy bias
- 42:28where they think, Oh my, you know, well, you know, my money's
- 42:31safe in the bank and the national debt doesn't really
- 42:34matter. And but eventually, right, just
- 42:37because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean that it's not going
- 42:41to happen. It's that idea of normalcy bias
- 42:44or recency bias where people everything's fine, was fine
- 42:47yesterday, everything seems fine today.
- 42:48So we're never going to have to pay the piper, but we're going
- 42:51to have to pay the piper. Can I take you a little bit
- 42:54further back in time, Ron? Let's go back to two. 1000 let's
- 42:58go back to 2000 when Alan Greens Alan Greenscan was a scam.
- 43:03I'm sorry, was actually goosing the stock market in 2000 and
- 43:082001 Pring some $480 billion. And believe it or not, back in
- 43:132480, billion was a lot of money.
- 43:16And so that ended up going into the stock markets, but it also
- 43:21went into the commercial banking system.
- 43:23It got fractionally reserved and suddenly there was an enormous
- 43:26amount of quote, UN quote currency sloshing around the
- 43:30system. And it was looking for a home
- 43:32and it went into real estate. So actually you could trace the
- 43:36etymology of the problems in 2008 all the way back to 2000
- 43:40with Alan Greenscam actually printing, I think it was 480
- 43:46billion, I think is what it was, $480 billion.
- 43:50And that's what caused the housing crisis in 2008, by the
- 43:53way. Wait, wait.
- 43:54Hold on a second. Pat, can you guys see the screen
- 43:56we got? We've got some I want.
- 43:58I have some. I have something I want to
- 43:59interject. Pat, hold on.
- 44:01If you, I don't know if you can see the screen.
- 44:03There we go. That is that the guy you're
- 44:05talking about, Alan Green Scam read for me what Alan Green Scam
- 44:13said back in 1966 when he was a young.
- 44:17A younger economist. Can you read that?
- 44:19I know it's a little blurry. You bet I can see it.
- 44:21Quote In the absence of a gold standard, there's no way to
- 44:25prevent confiscation of savings through inflation.
- 44:29End Quote. Alan Green's scam.
- 44:31It's 1966 apparently. Hold on, those are that's
- 44:34California job openings. I'll read this one.
- 44:37This is another one from our friend Alan Green Scam before he
- 44:40became before he became I guess a a a proponent of paper money,
- 44:46he said. Yet gold has special properties
- 44:48that no other currency, with the possible exception of silver,
- 44:52can claim. For more than two millennia,
- 44:54gold has has had virtually. Unquestioned acceptance as
- 44:58payment. It has never required the credit
- 45:00guarantee of a third party. So that was, that was.
- 45:06Yeah, that was that was. When he was speaking the truth,
- 45:08right? Yeah, but that was before he
- 45:10was, you know, basically upper echelons of the American
- 45:14financial system. So he was just an economist back
- 45:17then. And we had an economist on our
- 45:20show yesterday. He spoke the truth, too.
- 45:23So it apparently you start losing your morals when you
- 45:28actually climb the ladders of power in the financial system.
- 45:32Yeah, yeah, because go ahead. Ron, I'm going to have to get
- 45:35going. I got a speaking engagement here
- 45:38at 11:00 AM and I got to head over about 10 minutes early to
- 45:42get ready for that. So I'm going to, I'm going to
- 45:44say goodbye and Patrick and Adam can stick around for the
- 45:48basement drillers. The basement drillers.
- 45:49Thank you very much. I'm not a crook and we'll see
- 45:53you guys later. OK, thanks.
- 45:55Thanks Daniel. And, and if people want to
- 45:57support Citizens for Sound money, I've got a little, little
- 46:00ticker at the bottom of the screen there.
- 46:03Do you guys, you know Adam, Pat? Do you do you feel like we're
- 46:07headed towards a major event? But I don't want to scare
- 46:11people. I don't want to be a tinfoil
- 46:13head doomsayer. And and you know, I kind of felt
- 46:1510 years ago we were headed towards a major event that
- 46:19would, you know, could, could have drastic impact on the value
- 46:23of the US dollar. Do you, do you feel like it's
- 46:27like, like we're still heading in that direction?
- 46:29I'll let Adam go first on that. Yeah, I think we're in the
- 46:31event. I think we're in the event
- 46:34things are changing. I just don't think they're that
- 46:36bad. I'm not a doom and gloom guy.
- 46:38Sound money is taken off. Gold is going up, silver is
- 46:41going up. Bitcoin is exploding.
- 46:44Crypto is becoming more popular. You've got things around the
- 46:47world you've got, you know there, there's good and there's
- 46:50bad. You know, maybe you like bricks,
- 46:51maybe you don't. Maybe you like the dollar, maybe
- 46:53you don't. Maybe you like the way the
- 46:55monetary system is. We got a lot of options right
- 46:57now. I don't think it's going to be
- 46:58as bad as it as it was back when we had the Great Depression
- 47:01because there weren't any options.
- 47:04We've got tons of different economy.
- 47:06We're the world's largest producer of food, exporter.
- 47:09We're the world's largest exporter of food.
- 47:11You know, America's Got a whole lot of things going for it.
- 47:14We got a whole lot of different monetary systems.
- 47:17We've got a whole lot more communication with the Internet
- 47:19and with YouTube and with folks like yourself that are out there
- 47:23broadcasting to people, you know, sounding the warning and
- 47:26is there an event coming? I think this is it.
- 47:28We're in it. You know, the gold's going up,
- 47:30silver's going up. Things are things are looking
- 47:32good. I think so.
- 47:33I'm not a doom and gloom guy. Can I can I do the I'm?
- 47:36Sorry, go ahead, Ron. I want to interject one thing on
- 47:38that point. I, I agree with you, Adam, and
- 47:42it's interesting you say that because I read something the
- 47:44other day that, that, you know, this is the, the event, it is
- 47:48happening right now. I would imagine that as past
- 47:51events unfolded throughout history, people didn't realize
- 47:53like, wow, I'm living through a historic event, right?
- 47:57But it, it, and I heard someone say this and it, it, it, it, it
- 48:00just made sense with me on a gut level.
- 48:02Like, like parts of the US economy, like if you're a, a
- 48:07lower middle class person in the United States who doesn't know
- 48:10about silver and gold and who works, you know, two or three
- 48:14jobs just to be able to barely pay rent and barely afford a car
- 48:20and car insurance. You're already in a, in a, in a
- 48:23depression almost from an economic perspective.
- 48:26So I, I appreciate you bringing that up because it, I think
- 48:29maybe we don't recognize that we are in that.
- 48:32And wow, this really is happening right now.
- 48:35You know what we're going to good cop, bad cop.
- 48:37You hear? You had the good cop here.
- 48:39I'm the bad cop. So I'm going to give you a
- 48:42slightly different perspective. And it's not, it's not all gloom
- 48:45and doom, not for everybody. But the dollar is what's failing
- 48:50here. The world reserve currency known
- 48:51as the dollar and, and a lot of those dollars are going to come
- 48:57home. You talked earlier about Japan
- 49:00dumping treasuries or bonds, I can't remember which.
- 49:03But the fact of the matter is eventually this, these Roosters,
- 49:07these dollar Roosters are coming home.
- 49:10They're they're actually coming home.
- 49:11And those who are not prepared for that with gold, silver,
- 49:16Bitcoin, some kind of alternative, these are going to,
- 49:19these folks are going to feel it the worst because America is
- 49:21Ground Zero for the economic collapse.
- 49:24But as Adam said, and now, now once again, I'll, I'll go back
- 49:26to the sunshine. What Adam said is those who
- 49:29prepare for it with alternative measures and, and it could be if
- 49:33you're still dealing in dollars, that's great.
- 49:34As long as you have assets like for instance, you are selling
- 49:38eggs, you are selling meat, you are involved in the economy in
- 49:41that way, particularly in food, you'll be okay.
- 49:44You know, you may not be the richest guy in the planet, but
- 49:47you will weather the storm. So at any rate, those who are
- 49:52diametrically, you know, opposed to, you know, basically Bitcoin
- 49:56and gold and silver and think the dollar is the way to go,
- 50:00these people are really going to feel the hurt.
- 50:03You're really going to feel it. Those who have nothing but
- 50:07dollar denominated assets. Hey, I'm OK, I got plenty of
- 50:10three M stock. I'm going to be great.
- 50:13No, no, you got to diversify a little bit into alternative
- 50:17means and and gold and silver and in and even as we were
- 50:20talking about Bitcoin are valid, valid alternatives to the
- 50:25dollar. Yeah, I want, I want to get your
- 50:27guys opinion on this because Pat, you bring up, I'm going to
- 50:30make it real simple. I think the whole system is
- 50:33created to it is created to confuse us, right.
- 50:38I mean the whole try to understand what the Fed does try
- 50:40to interest rates and dollar hegemony and the and the D and
- 50:44all all this stuff. But if you really think about it
- 50:47on simple terms, right, we know that China, we know Russia, we
- 50:51know the BRICS countries, we know we can just say the rest of
- 50:54the world is moving away from the dollar and a in a couple
- 50:58different ways. They're moving away from it,
- 51:00from using it as a trade mechanism with D dollarization
- 51:04in that perspective, but they're also selling their U.S.
- 51:06Treasuries, right, So. When they're selling and when
- 51:10they're not using the dollar, that means the dollar is less in
- 51:14demand, right? But all of that is happening
- 51:17right at a time where if I pull up the US debt clock and we look
- 51:21at that, the United States needs the world to need the dollar
- 51:26more than ever. So it's like 2 opposing forces
- 51:29that are moving in opposite directions anytime, anything,
- 51:33whether you're talking about eggs, whether you're talking
- 51:36about. Oil, anything where there's more
- 51:38of a supply, right, there's all these dollars are coming home,
- 51:42right? Anytime there's any surplus, an
- 51:44excess supply, the value goes down.
- 51:47And when the value of the dollar goes down, right, the value of
- 51:51other real assets that are measured in Fiat dollars goes
- 51:55up. Yeah.
- 51:56All right. And David's coming.
- 51:58Today, Hey, we have a special guest joining us.
- 52:01So this is Eric Brakey, Senator Eric Brakey from the state of
- 52:06Maine, who is the new director of the Free State Project.
- 52:09And we're going to get ahead of headphones.
- 52:12I don't know how far that'll reach.
- 52:14You might want to switch headphones.
- 52:15It might be better short distance there on that cable.
- 52:20And so we're talking doom and gloom here.
- 52:22We're talking about the collapse of the dollar.
- 52:25So this is Ron's basement. Are you familiar with Ron's
- 52:29basement? Well, we got to talk yesterday,
- 52:30so I wasn't familiar with Ron's basement, I have to admit.
- 52:33But I, you know, after talking with Ron, I'm very impressed by
- 52:37his monetary knowledge. And everyone else keeps telling
- 52:40me what a big deal Ron's basement is, so shame on me for
- 52:43not being familiar. Yep, we all need to know who Ron
- 52:47is in Ron's basement. And the basement dwellers, you
- 52:49know, you know, basically the people that believe the
- 52:52believers in gold and silver. I think Ron, you're probably my
- 52:55second favorite Ron in the world at this point, so.
- 52:58Yeah. Compete with Doctor Paul in my
- 53:00heart but. You know you're.
- 53:02You're you're, you're, you're in a strong second.
- 53:05Ron's are, yeah. The Ron's are doing pretty good
- 53:07in the in the sound money. So Eric, you're a is it a state
- 53:11senator from Maine? Is that correct?
- 53:13Is that what? Yeah.
- 53:13That's right. I'm serving my third term in the
- 53:16state Senate and I am leaving Maine, joining the Free State
- 53:21movement in New Hampshire to lead the Free State Project.
- 53:23And I will say during my last term on my way out, I just
- 53:28decided to go kind of gangbusters on monetary policy.
- 53:32I think I sponsored a number of bills in Maine to remove taxes
- 53:37on gold and silver to recognize it as legal tender.
- 53:42And also some interesting stuff with a proposal for a State
- 53:46Bank. You know, some interesting
- 53:49things. Also stuff around cryptocurrency
- 53:51and trying to stop CBD CS. So I will say with Democrats in
- 53:55charge right now, we got close to some of them.
- 53:58We almost made it legal tender. We almost got rid of the sales
- 54:02tax, but but the Democrat leadership came in and put the
- 54:05kibosh on some of these things at the last minute.
- 54:07But, you know, we're getting the message out there.
- 54:09And I think in these times of high inflation, more and more
- 54:12people are realizing how important it is that government
- 54:16needs to remove these artificial barriers that prevent people
- 54:19from saving in real, sound hard money.
- 54:23Yeah, wow. I love.
- 54:25I want to throw in two quick things.
- 54:26And we we're already we already covered this.
- 54:28We were talking about the fact that this last wave of
- 54:31inflation, I think woke a lot of people up.
- 54:34I mean, I can tell you from my from my channel, the basement
- 54:37dwellers that, you know, we've got just a grew exponentially as
- 54:43people realize that the value of their dollars going down.
- 54:46But that we also, as we move, you know, into the next like
- 54:50four or five years, we're going to get another wave of
- 54:52inflation. And that we could that that
- 54:53could really, really wake up a lot of people to the fact that
- 54:58they need to protect their wealth with things like silver
- 55:00and gold. Maybe Bron, I wanna introduce
- 55:03another special guest. We have Doctor David coming in
- 55:05here. How much time do we have left
- 55:07and is it okay if I introduce him real quick?
- 55:09Or yeah, that'd be great. Yeah, no, we've got we can go
- 55:12another 20 minutes or. Okay, good, this is Doctor David
- 55:15and he's a huge sound money advocate force and and just say
- 55:20hello, doctor. Hey, Ron, how's it going?
- 55:22Hey, Doctor. David, welcome to the basement.
- 55:25Tell us a little bit about yourself and, and why.
- 55:27And we're we're, we're trying to convince ourselves that we need
- 55:29to buy silver and gold. Any ideas on that subject?
- 55:33It's a no brainer. It's a no brainer.
- 55:36I've been watching precious metals for about 20 years and
- 55:41you know, actually the whole liberty movement, precious
- 55:44metals, sound money. I got into around 2008 with the
- 55:48great financial crisis. I had just bought a house and I
- 55:52remembered I read an article by Ron Paul about a housing bubble
- 55:58in 2007. And or I know actually I read
- 56:01that in like 2005 and I bought the house later in 2005.
- 56:06And then we had the great housing crash and I was like,
- 56:10whoa, who was this guy that predicted this housing bubble?
- 56:15And I started reading about his stuff and I picked up his book
- 56:18because his campaign book, Ron Paul Revolution, a manifesto.
- 56:24And it was his campaign book and read principles about sound
- 56:28money, the Federal Reserve, and was hooked on the liberty
- 56:33movement ever since. Everything he said and and wrote
- 56:36about made a lot of sense to me. And that's what that's what kind
- 56:39of drew me in. And so, and I had been dabbling
- 56:41in precious metals since the early 2000s, Watched it, you
- 56:46know, when I watched things crash in 2008, what silver went
- 56:51down to 9 bucks an ounce. And I jumped in and bought some
- 56:56there and then watched it run all the way up to 50 and then
- 56:59come all the way back down for a decade into the 20s.
- 57:05And that's when I started reading about manipulation going
- 57:09on by the bullion banks, particularly JP Morgan, on
- 57:12behest of the Federal Reserve, on behest of the federal
- 57:14government. And back then, 20 years ago, you
- 57:19know, Ted Butler had been sounding the horn for about 10
- 57:21years and he was still considered, his theories were
- 57:25still considered rather fringe. And well, no.
- 57:29And a lot of people were trying to refute that.
- 57:32Fast forward to today, in the precious metals community is
- 57:37accepted as fact. JP Morgan's been taken to, taken
- 57:41to court, lost. Isn't it amazing just how many
- 57:44things like Doctor Paul was mocked for saying 10 years ago,
- 57:49everyone has kind of come around, or at least anyone with
- 57:52any reason? It's like, wow, Ron Paul was
- 57:55right again and again and again. As were the founding fathers
- 57:58when they wrote the guiding principles to which he adheres
- 58:01to. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 58:03And there and I have AII could pull it up.
- 58:05It's my my audience has seen it many times.
- 58:07There's I think it was from WikiLeaks.
- 58:10There's a memo that was written in the mid 70s when they were
- 58:13setting up the futures exchanges for gold and silver where they
- 58:18explicitly say like this will, this will induce volatility into
- 58:23the silver and gold price and it will discourage Americans from
- 58:27hoarding silver and gold. I mean, they're, they're, it's
- 58:30been proven that there's a concerted, there's been a
- 58:32concerted effort to at least exert a certain amount of
- 58:36influence over the precious metals prices and to move.
- 58:40And that's why we know we talked about this earlier.
- 58:42Like, you know, we're, we're maybe one in 100 people, maybe
- 58:45one in 200 people in the United States right now that really
- 58:49know what's going on. You know, everybody else is
- 58:51asleep in my opinion. Unfortunately, and that's one of
- 58:55the great things that you guys are doing here, is bringing
- 58:58awareness to people that may not be aware about the dangers, the
- 59:02inherent dangers in our Federal Reserve banking system, the end
- 59:07of the Petro dollar, inflation is increasing and it's going to
- 59:11get worse. You know, I, I wonder sometimes
- 59:14as we see kind of a lot of the rest of the world beginning to
- 59:19shift away from the US dollar. I wonder sometimes if, you know,
- 59:25if we are putting Americans in a really dangerous spot where our
- 59:28government restricts and, and tries to discourage the American
- 59:32people from owning and possessing gold and silver
- 59:34through all of these laws and taxes and, and things like that.
- 59:38You know, are we really going to let the Russians be the ones
- 59:41who, you know, you know, buy up all the gold at these prices or,
- 59:46you know, you would think that we would want kind of the
- 59:49American people to to have as much as possible for our own
- 59:52national security and our economic security?
- 59:55That's interesting that you say, you know, for our own national
- 59:58security. So that's interesting to think
- 1:00:01about that if we don't have a sound money system, if we don't
- 1:00:04have sound economics. Then it creates a national
- 1:00:08security risk. Yeah.
- 1:00:09I mean, I would think that like if if the dollar is, I mean, who
- 1:00:13knows? I mean, people have been
- 1:00:14predicting the death of the dollar for a long time, right.
- 1:00:16But certainly we do see some, at least some really symbolic
- 1:00:19things on the international stage that are, I think, some
- 1:00:22cause for alarm or at least signs that things are starting
- 1:00:27to shift, like the Saudis breaking the.
- 1:00:29Petro dollar, dollar is done. It's huge.
- 1:00:32We were talking about that for decades.
- 1:00:34Yeah. And.
- 1:00:34It happened and I know people I've seen people like Safedeen,
- 1:00:37the author of The Bitcoin Standard have argued that, well,
- 1:00:40the Petro dollar doesn't really mean what it used to, but it
- 1:00:42certainly seems to be symbolic of something, whether it's a has
- 1:00:47a big direct effect on the US, on the dollar as the US global
- 1:00:51reserve or not. It seems to be symbolic of
- 1:00:53something larger that is happening, the shift away from
- 1:00:56the dollar. And it seems to me that if
- 1:00:58that's the way that things are going and our government,
- 1:01:01because they are so invested in trying to prop up the dollar,
- 1:01:05tries to discourage the American people from being able to
- 1:01:07diversify their monetary and. The average American under the
- 1:01:11bus and try to save their unjust Fiat policy system.
- 1:01:15Then what they in effect are doing is ensuring that the
- 1:01:19American people are going to be the last ones to the game when
- 1:01:22it comes to having, you know, precious metals and hard
- 1:01:26currency. And as far as our economic
- 1:01:29security, at a certain point, if we lose the dollars, the the
- 1:01:33dollar's global reserve status and the American people do not
- 1:01:37have, you know, in our country a strong savings base in, in gold
- 1:01:42and silver, then we're going to be at potentially at a real
- 1:01:44disadvantage compared to the rest of the world.
- 1:01:47So they can sweep us to SCBDC. That's what they want.
- 1:01:51And that will be the end of liberty as we know it.
- 1:01:54That's why I value gold and silver most importantly.
- 1:01:58First and foremost, it protects our liberty, our freedom.
- 1:02:03You know, a lot of people say Andy Scheckman loves to say it's
- 1:02:06wealth. Gold and silver are well, it's,
- 1:02:10it's the protection of our liberty.
- 1:02:12It's so important. It's the end of liberty.
- 1:02:15As well. But now that's a great point
- 1:02:19that that I hadn't thought of, right, that that it actually
- 1:02:22could probably be qualified as a national security issue that the
- 1:02:279099% of Americans don't really have any real money in their
- 1:02:33possession. That's why what you are doing,
- 1:02:36Ron, by on Ron's basement, having legislatures on your show
- 1:02:42and other people who are pro sound money, moving the sound
- 1:02:47money movement forward, getting legislation passed, getting
- 1:02:51legislation introduced, doing negotiations.
- 1:02:54Beside this, behind the scenes, like my good friend here Pat
- 1:02:57Holland, Eric Brakey has been a sound money advocate going back
- 1:03:02probably when he was just a toddler.
- 1:03:04Well, it took me a little bit longer than that to figure it
- 1:03:06out, but at least the last 14 years.
- 1:03:09And by you having these people on your show and giving them
- 1:03:12exposure and by what these gentlemen are doing and Daniel
- 1:03:15Diaz with Citizens for Sound Money, what these guys are
- 1:03:18doing, they are securing liberty.
- 1:03:21It's where the rubber hits the road.
- 1:03:23Our founding fathers are shining and and smiling down on these
- 1:03:27gentlemen because they're doing it in our time.
- 1:03:30They're carrying forward the principles that they taught us
- 1:03:34that we were supposed to adhere to, to maintain our liberty.
- 1:03:37And we've really lost it. I I'm just so outraged by the
- 1:03:41Federal Reserve Act, by the Federal Reserve notes.
- 1:03:45I it just makes me so damn angry.
- 1:03:47I'm. Really.
- 1:03:48I want to, I want to, I want to make you.
- 1:03:50I want to make you angrier for a second.
- 1:03:52If you don't mind here, I want to pull this up and read this.
- 1:03:55I don't know if you've if you've seen this or if you can you see
- 1:03:58it on the screen. Can you read it?
- 1:04:00Can you guys read this? Absolutely.
- 1:04:02Woodrow Wilson regretted what he'd done when he signed the
- 1:04:06Federal Reserve Act, you know. I remember having a dream back
- 1:04:10in 2012 working on the Ron Paul campaign and thinking we get Ron
- 1:04:14Paul elected this year in 2012. 2013 is the 100 year anniversary
- 1:04:18of the creation of the Federal Reserve and wouldn't it have
- 1:04:20been great if Doctor Paul is first year in ends the Fed on
- 1:04:23the 100th anniversary? Sometimes I regret I, I, you
- 1:04:27know, you, there's all these movies out there about the
- 1:04:28multiverse and I regret that. We're in the universe where Ron
- 1:04:32Paul didn't become president in 2012 and and we're still living
- 1:04:36with this creature from Jekyll Islands.
- 1:04:37Yeah. So I want to read this because I
- 1:04:39think it goes with what you guys are saying.
- 1:04:41I'm this is Woodrow Wilson. And for our viewer, Woodrow
- 1:04:44Wilson, and correct me if I'm wrong, guys, but he was the
- 1:04:46president that signed the legislation that created the
- 1:04:50United States Federal Reserve Bank.
- 1:04:52And three years later or five years later, he said this, that
- 1:04:57quote, I'm the most unhappy man. I've unwittingly ruined my
- 1:05:01country. A great industrial nation is now
- 1:05:04controlled by its system of credit.
- 1:05:07We are no longer a government by free opinion, no longer a
- 1:05:11government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a
- 1:05:16government by the opinion and duress of a small group of
- 1:05:19dominant men. And that was Woodrow.
- 1:05:22I had no idea that he had had some kind of deathbed conversion
- 1:05:26on this issue. Yeah.
- 1:05:28Abraham Lincoln was very, very torn and felt very guilty about
- 1:05:34what he what kind of deals he had to do with the banks during
- 1:05:37the Civil War era. Was was this after Woodrow
- 1:05:40Wilson's stroke? We caught they, I think they
- 1:05:42some folks called it the stroke of good luck when he was could
- 1:05:47no longer screw things up anymore when he was in the White
- 1:05:49House because. I have to dial it back a minute.
- 1:05:52You said the creature from Jekyll Island.
- 1:05:53Yo, yeah. G Edward Griffin is actually a
- 1:05:57fan of Goldback, and he's awesome.
- 1:05:59Yeah, we've been on his podcast and so, so bored.
- 1:06:01So it's funny that you. Well, just a few days ago here
- 1:06:04at Pork Fest, 'cause we have the, the mainstage programming,
- 1:06:09you know, for the adult attendees, right, with many
- 1:06:13great talks. But we also have, we've got so
- 1:06:15many families here. We've got the porcupines and so
- 1:06:18we've been doing some like story reading and other things.
- 1:06:20So few days ago I read to them the Tuttle twins and the
- 1:06:23creature from Jekyll Island to all the all the kids like under
- 1:06:26the age of 10 'cause we got to, we got to warn them young about
- 1:06:29the dangers of central banking and inflation.
- 1:06:32And anyway. It was a.
- 1:06:33Lot of fun and thank you David. Kids are getting.
- 1:06:35Into it. See you, David.
- 1:06:36Thank you. Appreciate.
- 1:06:37It. Yeah, Thanks, David.
- 1:06:39Oh, who's this? Guy got a quick story about
- 1:06:41Doctor Dave here, So he's sitting right here.
- 1:06:44I'm a, you know, my left hand side.
- 1:06:46It's because of Doctor Dave Shlaroth that that Daniel
- 1:06:51Calzone and I I'm sorry, Daniel Diaz and I got together and of
- 1:06:56course, you know, also with Adam and that was through your show,
- 1:07:01Ron, you know, bringing bringing the sound money folks together
- 1:07:05at the powerhouses. The you know, we're talking
- 1:07:08about legislation, economic war room in Texas, Missouri Freedom
- 1:07:12Initiative in Missouri, Citizens for sound money or national.
- 1:07:16We all got together because of your show.
- 1:07:19And so don't underestimate the power of Ron's basement, folks.
- 1:07:23Hey, the basement dwellers are awesome.
- 1:07:25Hey, Pat, I want to run out. I keep Susie Silver.
- 1:07:29Susie who everybody here in the channel knows my wife the the
- 1:07:32real boss here at Ron's basement keeps She's not home.
- 1:07:35Keeps texting me telling me that I need to say hello to you guys
- 1:07:38but also she wants me to go check on the silver and gold
- 1:07:42price. So you got a second so we can
- 1:07:44run out. We're going to run out there pin
- 1:07:46backs website. Let's see if how silver and gold
- 1:07:48are doing today. Wow.
- 1:07:50Hey, you guys are good luck. Silver's up 9094 cents per oz.
- 1:07:56That's because Adam Van is here, yeah.
- 1:07:58Thank you. It's going to go down in history
- 1:08:00that Ron's basement was a glue that kept it all together.
- 1:08:03I, I, I have to say, you know, one of the things I love here at
- 1:08:06Pork Fest is that people are accepting gold backs and
- 1:08:08accepting silver coins and payment for things.
- 1:08:10But I got to tell you, just knowing that these things are
- 1:08:12increasing in value, I just can't part with them.
- 1:08:15I keep handing over my Federal Reserve notes.
- 1:08:18Your dirty, filthy fiats. It's.
- 1:08:20Like, well, let me let. Me you guys you you guys were
- 1:08:24talking earlier about using gold and silver and I'm like I've
- 1:08:27been buying silver for 20 years and I've never sold an ounce are
- 1:08:31converted. I should I let me use the word
- 1:08:33convert is that we're not buying and selling We're really I'm
- 1:08:35really when I'm converting pay there still blows my mind that I
- 1:08:39can take paper money, right just pretty printed paper money and
- 1:08:44convert that into real metal right.
- 1:08:46I mean it's just it's absolutely crazy.
- 1:08:49I want to, I want to Eric, I want to also comment on
- 1:08:51something you said earlier about the young kids.
- 1:08:53And I'm hearing a lot from my contacts in the bullion industry
- 1:08:57that we've got a lot more young people, a lot more women, right?
- 1:09:01We don't have any women on the show today, but there are a lot
- 1:09:03more women coming into the gold and silver movement.
- 1:09:06I think that's because women are, are, are, are are generally
- 1:09:10very interested in protecting their families.
- 1:09:12But we're also getting a lot more young people.
- 1:09:15And and I want to .1 more thing out about that young people is
- 1:09:19what I have twin 12 year old identical twin daughters.
- 1:09:22They play all kinds of games and have over the years on their
- 1:09:25tablets, their phones, almost every game, what they're what
- 1:09:29they're trying to collect are gold and silver coins, right?
- 1:09:33Like like even from a young age kids are taught that that that
- 1:09:37silver and gold are are like the most valuable thing to gather.
- 1:09:41Yeah, Mario doesn't go around collecting paper notes, right?
- 1:09:45He's going around collecting gold.
- 1:09:47Coins. Yeah, right.
- 1:09:48Yeah. We're here at Pork.
- 1:09:49Fest here, here at Pork Fest, there's over 600 kids here, I
- 1:09:52think. I forget how many tickets were
- 1:09:53sold, but a bunch hundreds and hundreds of kids and they're all
- 1:09:57running around with their own little hustle.
- 1:09:58Some of them will take your trash, some of them will will
- 1:10:01will come in and do help you out selling raffle tickets or
- 1:10:04something like. That yeah, they're selling
- 1:10:05S'mores, you know, packets and stuff like that.
- 1:10:09We certainly encourage entrepreneurship and, and
- 1:10:11especially kids learning lessons of entrepreneurship.
- 1:10:14So boy, I have like kids walking away saying I've made $200.00
- 1:10:18here, just like selling the, you know, things that they brought
- 1:10:21to sell at Pork Fest. And of course, you know, it
- 1:10:23helps a little bit when a kid comes up to you and says, hey,
- 1:10:26do you want to buy this thing? It's hard to say no to like a
- 1:10:28cute kid trying to, you know, be a little entrepreneur.
- 1:10:31So people tend to be pretty generous.
- 1:10:33And I, I pulled up on the screen, I don't know if you guys
- 1:10:36can see it, but I pulled up the pork Fest website and it's not
- 1:10:39pork as in the meat, it's pork as in porcupine, which I guess
- 1:10:44are are abundant up in that area.
- 1:10:47That's. A mascot.
- 1:10:48Yeah, porcupines are somewhat native to the area.
- 1:10:50But also, it's like, you know, the Republicans claim elephants,
- 1:10:54the Democrats claim donkeys, while the libertarian movement
- 1:10:58is larger than just any political party.
- 1:11:00You know, we tend to associate with the porcupine right.
- 1:11:02The Porcupine Open carries right.
- 1:11:06Yeah, leave him alone. He won't hurt.
- 1:11:07You but practice is the non aggression principles.
- 1:11:09I don't hurt you or you don't hurt me and I don't hurt you
- 1:11:13right, And that's that's the libertarian credo.
- 1:11:16Don't hurt people, don't take their stuff.
- 1:11:18Yeah, family friendly toxin panels, parties.
- 1:11:23Look at that. Looks like you guys are.
- 1:11:24Actually, can I do a shameless plug?
- 1:11:26Sure, yes. OK, in honor of Ron Paul
- 1:11:31tomorrow night we are having end the Fed happy hour right here in
- 1:11:36the sound money tent and with complete with cheese and wine.
- 1:11:39And we're going to do some some auctions as well for some silver
- 1:11:43and gold. So that's a that's a big deal
- 1:11:46over here. Anyone who is watching Ron's
- 1:11:48basement that is actually at Pork Fest right now, please,
- 1:11:52please come by the tent for this extraordinary event.
- 1:11:56But not only that, right before Ron Paul speaks, right over
- 1:12:00there in that pavilion about 50 feet away from us, we're going
- 1:12:03to be selling burritos. So actually big burritos.
- 1:12:07And we'll be doing that on Saturday morning, right before
- 1:12:11Ron Paul speaks. So shame.
- 1:12:13Shameless plug over. At that happy hour, is that
- 1:12:15where we're going to do it? We're going to end the Fed
- 1:12:17there. Yeah, that's the end.
- 1:12:18The the end. the Fed Happy hour. We're celebrating silver and
- 1:12:21gold. It has.
- 1:12:22To start somewhere, yes, it starts right here in the Sound
- 1:12:25Money tent, right here at Port Fest 2024.
- 1:12:28And a great reminder everyone, you too can end the Fed Bye
- 1:12:32Jess. Diversifying and not not being
- 1:12:37being so dependent on the paper notes that they put out there
- 1:12:40and finding. I, I want to do a shameless plug
- 1:12:42too, now that we're in the rhythm of it.
- 1:12:44You know, this was Father's Day weekend and, and congratulations
- 1:12:47to you guys. Happy Father's Day to you.
- 1:12:49I'm not a dad yet, but. I thought you were already, you
- 1:12:51know, No, you. You.
- 1:12:52You've got maybe once I, my wife and I get our first house in New
- 1:12:55Hampshire, we'll start. You've got it in you, brothers.
- 1:12:58All right, so how it works? I'm waiting.
- 1:13:01We're just waiting for the stork to show up.
- 1:13:03I. Want to say thank you to my
- 1:13:04children. Belle and Declan came out to
- 1:13:06Pork Fest for the first part of the of the week, even though I'm
- 1:13:09working and they celebrated Father's Day with me and got me
- 1:13:11a mug and it was a really good weekend.
- 1:13:14I just want to say thank you to my kids and happy Father's Day.
- 1:13:17Ron, hope you had a great when you got some great kids and a
- 1:13:19great family over there too. Yeah, well, thank you and I want
- 1:13:22to thank you guys for being on today.
- 1:13:24You know, Pat, Adam, Eric, and thank you for everything you
- 1:13:27guys are doing to help spread the word out there about sound
- 1:13:31money. And you know, that's all we
- 1:13:33that's all we can do, right is, is put the information out
- 1:13:37there. It's up for people to, to listen
- 1:13:39to us, listen to other people and come up with their own kind
- 1:13:43of thesis on where things are going.
- 1:13:45But I do know that in our hearts and I believe also in our minds
- 1:13:50that you know, and, and, and according to our calculators
- 1:13:54that there's a big benefit for people right now to move to
- 1:13:58sound money, silver, gold, platinum, whatever, whatever it
- 1:14:01may. Be and that interesting a
- 1:14:02deflationary currency. And if I could add, since these
- 1:14:06two gentlemen have done their shameless promotions, I would
- 1:14:10just like to invite your guests to go check out fsp.org, which
- 1:14:13is the website for the Free State Project, which hosts the
- 1:14:16Porcupine and Freedom Festival. We also have another banner
- 1:14:19event every year called the New Hampshire Liberty Forum.
- 1:14:23And our mission at the Free State Project, we are a mass
- 1:14:26migration movement of people who love liberty, moving to New
- 1:14:29Hampshire to establish a liberty homeland.
- 1:14:31We've been at it for 20 years and New Hampshire is ranked in
- 1:14:34the Freedom of the 50 States index, the number one state for
- 1:14:37freedom in America when it comes to economic and personal
- 1:14:40liberty. We're for the whole package.
- 1:14:41And you know, as folks move to sound money, you can also
- 1:14:46consider moving to New Hampshire.
- 1:14:49We would love to have you or at least come up for a visit to
- 1:14:51Pork Fest in the future or the New Hampshire Liberty for any
- 1:14:53every time of year. We got great events in the
- 1:14:56community going on all the time. You can learn about it fsp.org.

- 1:15:01Sounds good guys, enjoy the rest of the festival.
- 1:15:04Thank you for all you're doing OK and I'm I'll be looking
- 1:15:08forward to seeing all you next time.
- 1:15:10Hey, love you Ron. Love the basement dwellers.
- 1:15:12You guys are awesome. That you got the best fans.
- 1:15:16Thank you. For reading the the comments and
- 1:15:18what a bunch of gentlemen. Wonderful.
- 1:15:21People, ladies, and hello to Susie.
- 1:15:24All right. Thank you to my second favorite,
- 1:15:26We're on. That's right.
- 1:15:28All right, guys. Have fun.
- 1:15:29Thank you. OK.
- 1:15:31God bless you guys. Happy Pork fest, everybody.
- 1:15:35All right, guys, there we have it.
- 1:15:37What a great group of people. It is so critical right as we
- 1:15:40look at what's going on. In the world right now, on a
- 1:15:44worldwide geopolitical basis, when we look at what's going on
- 1:15:48internally in the United States, right, with the economy, with
- 1:15:52the monetary system that we're dealing with, with the Fed, with
- 1:15:55the financial fiscal situation that we're dealing with, with
- 1:15:59our government. Look, I'll never tell you what
- 1:16:01to do. I'll never tell you I have a
- 1:16:04crystal ball. But for me, at least, when I
- 1:16:06look at the big picture of what's going on, I certainly
- 1:16:10feel comfortable owning precious metals.
- 1:16:13I feel even more comfortable telling you that I appreciate
- 1:16:16you joining us here in the basement.
- 1:16:18On behalf of Susie and myself, thank you.
- 1:16:21Please consider supporting our sponsors.
- 1:16:24This is not possible without the support of our sponsors, Pinbex.
