- 0:15Speaker 1: Hello, welcome to Mic Drop Comedy's podcast for the Mic
- 0:19Speaker 1: Drop Comedy Plano. I'm Camille Waters, I'm your host, and
- 0:22Speaker 1: today we have a very special guest. If he's in
- 0:26Speaker 1: the chat, where is he at?
- 0:31Speaker 2: That's where I am.
- 0:32Speaker 1: That's where I am.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Looking grainy. Surprise.
- 0:39Speaker 1: We shooting this on an Etch-a-Sketch surprise. This podcast is
- 0:46Speaker 1: shot from 1973. So welcome to the past. I won't
- 0:50Speaker 1: get you, sucker.
- 0:51Speaker 2: We're going to do a lot of Jive Turkey-ing in here. Yeah,
- 0:58Speaker 2: that was... I'm going to get you Psycho in the 70s. Yes,
- 1:00Speaker 2: it was. For sure. For sure.
- 1:01Speaker 1: I can see Dolomite saying that, you know. See somebody
- 1:08Speaker 1: say that in a cutie. Jordan, I know you did
- 1:14Speaker 1: our other Mic Drop podcast, but... This is a whole
- 1:17Speaker 1: new branch of people. Hopefully, these are the Plano, Texas people,
- 1:21Speaker 1: and we'd love to get to know you.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Wait, did I do another Mic Drop one? Was the
- 1:26Speaker 2: second one a Mic Drop one?
- 1:28Speaker 1: It kind of counts. It counts. It's a secret, secret
- 1:33Speaker 1: squirrel Mic Drop podcast.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Okay. That makes sense. That does make sense with the
- 1:38Speaker 2: connections to good old lives, unlimited experiences.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Good old laughs unlimited. But we want to get to
- 1:45Speaker 1: know you over here. So we'll eventually have more questions,
- 1:50Speaker 1: but what's, tell us a little bit about yourself, about
- 1:53Speaker 1: yourself and your comedy.
- 1:55Speaker 2: If people are listening to this online, I hope this
- 1:57Speaker 2: doesn't stop you from buying tickets, but I'm black. That's
- 2:02Speaker 2: something to know. I'm a very nerdy dude. I have
- 2:08Speaker 2: Disney tattoos. If you are watching this, you see the background.
- 2:11Speaker 2: You see the Disney ears? I got Christmas stuff still out.
- 2:14Speaker 2: It's got to go away. That's a Pikachu sweater right there.
- 2:18Speaker 2: This is a Star Wars outfit I'm wearing. I'm married
- 2:21Speaker 2: to a woman. Even though you see everything and I've
- 2:25Speaker 2: said everything about the nerd. She's also Disney. And we
- 2:28Speaker 2: have a kid. One and a half years old. I
- 2:33Speaker 2: want to say that's everything on the Pisces. That's not
- 2:38Speaker 2: the sign of a Pisces. But I don't know. Does
- 2:40Speaker 2: a Pisces make a sound?
- 2:42Speaker 1: I think Pisces are fish, so no. Ooh, a little
- 2:48Speaker 1: underwater melody.
- 2:53Speaker 2: This is also, I woke up from a nap probably,
- 2:56Speaker 2: was it 1.23 now? Let's say 12.55. Okay. Oh, snap, Jordan.
- 2:58Speaker 2: So that was.
- 3:07Speaker 2: It would have been a stronger, robust sound.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Like a whale sound?
- 3:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I was trying to go whale, but my body...
- 3:17Speaker 2: Give me your best whale.
- 3:18Speaker 1: You got any whale in you right now?
- 3:20Speaker 2: I would never say it like that, but that's a
- 3:25Speaker 2: way to say that. Got any whale in you right now?
- 3:28Speaker 2: That sounds like a fun sex ad. Like a pop-up ad.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Got any whale in you right now?
- 3:37Speaker 1: What are we getting into in the afternoon?
- 3:43Speaker 2: 1.20 getting some whale in you. Let's see. Hello. Finding Nemo.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Round of applause for the Finding Nemo callback.
- 3:59Speaker 2: We love Finding Nemo. The only whale sounds I will
- 4:02Speaker 2: ever make is based on Dory from Finding Nemo. Yes.
- 4:05Speaker 1: All right. Dory did a great job. Terribly underrated.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Locked in.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Talk about lock in. Locking in, Dory.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Lock in and clock in. Lock in and clock in.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Okay, I want to ask a fun question. You can
- 4:23Speaker 1: answer either one.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Okay, okay.
- 4:26Speaker 1: So you can either... Oh, let's do both. First one.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Who is the funniest person you know that is not
- 4:33Speaker 1: a comic?
- 4:35Speaker 2: Funniest person I know that's not a comic is it
- 4:39Speaker 2: like alive or dead type of vibes yeah.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Like alive or dead.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Yeah it'd be my granddad yeah that's why I was
- 4:49Speaker 2: like does alive or dead matter yeah my granddad on
- 4:52Speaker 2: my mom's side funniest dude in the freaking world there
- 4:57Speaker 2: is nobody funnier there's no comedian funnier I personally think
- 5:02Speaker 2: all the funniest people in the world are not comedians
- 5:05Speaker 2: But if they were to be comedians, it wouldn't translate. Right.
- 5:11Speaker 2: I don't even think I'm the funniest one in my family,
- 5:13Speaker 2: but I'm the funniest one in my family that can
- 5:15Speaker 2: go on stage. Professionally. You know what I mean? But
- 5:19Speaker 2: if you hung out with me and my family, you'd
- 5:20Speaker 2: be like, Jordan's a loser. Jordan's an amateur. How am
- 5:25Speaker 2: I even doing this? Because they are roasting out here.
- 5:30Speaker 1: They are. I feel like that's most comedians. Most comedians
- 5:36Speaker 1: are not the funniest person in their family because their
- 5:39Speaker 1: family is hilarious, but they couldn't do it on stage.
- 5:42Speaker 1: But they get them in the house. It's like, I'm hurting.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I've laughed so hard. I'm, I'm hurt.
- 5:49Speaker 2: I've literally done a comedy show where, oh, I can
- 5:54Speaker 2: mention it because he's not, he, he, he doesn't listen
- 5:57Speaker 2: to podcasts. So we're fine. It was with my uncle.
- 6:01Speaker 2: And it was at the church. And they were like, oh,
- 6:03Speaker 2: let's just get all the funniest people we know to
- 6:06Speaker 2: be on this thing. And this was before I was
- 6:08Speaker 2: a stand-up comedian. But I still had my notebook of jokes.
- 6:14Speaker 2: So he was the, because it was like a comedy show,
- 6:19Speaker 2: but not really. He was the last one to speak.
- 6:24Speaker 2: He bombed hard. And people were like, no, but you're
- 6:28Speaker 2: like the funniest guy at this church. And then I
- 6:31Speaker 2: went up, got everyone to laugh. I just had my
- 6:34Speaker 2: notebook of stuff I had written down being at that church.
- 6:37Speaker 2: And then he just got up and kind of did
- 6:39Speaker 2: what he normally does. But it just, everybody was like, hmm, okay. Yeah,
- 6:50Speaker 2: it was so trippy. But he is one of the
- 6:53Speaker 2: funniest people as well. So it's so trippy. with how
- 6:58Speaker 2: it works as a comedian and not a comedian being funny. Yeah.
- 7:03Speaker 1: It's a little bit more. I think people think just
- 7:05Speaker 1: because they're funny that they can be a comedian, but
- 7:07Speaker 1: there's also like, there's some science to it. There's some
- 7:10Speaker 1: math to it. There's a rhythm to it. Like it's
- 7:13Speaker 1: more than just being funny.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Oh, you want to know the other crazy thing about
- 7:17Speaker 2: being a comedian as we completely derail whatever's supposed to
- 7:20Speaker 2: happen next on this podcast is when you, So I
- 7:27Speaker 2: was undefeated class clown. Like I never lost. Every year
- 7:30Speaker 2: it was offered from elementary, because they didn't do it
- 7:34Speaker 2: in college, elementary all the way through high school. Matter
- 7:36Speaker 2: of fact, I got told by the committee, by the ASB,
- 7:43Speaker 2: my freshman year, hey, you can't be a part of
- 7:47Speaker 2: class clown. I was like, I didn't vote. I didn't know.
- 7:51Speaker 2: What are we talking about? Apparently people tried to vote me.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Class clown my freshman year. That's how much I was
- 7:56Speaker 2: just the funny kid. But when you become a stand-up comedian,
- 8:01Speaker 2: anytime you do something funny offstage, there's the comedian. It's like, no, bro.
- 8:08Speaker 2: That's just my person. I'm not always working bits on you.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Literally.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Craziest thing.
- 8:18Speaker 1: I'm not always just running sets.
- 8:20Speaker 2: I went to the movies the other day. Oh, here
- 8:22Speaker 2: we go. No, I just went to the movies the
- 8:26Speaker 2: other day. Oh, okay. I thought you were doing one
- 8:30Speaker 2: of your... Dude, what are we talking about? It's so wild. Yeah,
- 8:37Speaker 2: you can't do anything.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I feel like even with other comedians, you can't say
- 8:42Speaker 1: anything funny and they'd be like, oh, write that down.
- 8:43Speaker 1: That's a bit. I'm just having a conversation. It will
- 8:48Speaker 1: be funny if I remember it tonight when I go
- 8:50Speaker 1: home and I write it down.
- 8:52Speaker 2: But right now, I'm just talking. It's both ways, too, though.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Because if you go to a comedian and you're like, hey,
- 9:00Speaker 2: it's cancer. Oh, buddy. Oh, this is about to be gold.
- 9:04Speaker 2: And you're like, what? What do you wait? I just said, like,
- 9:09Speaker 2: no one's died. We're trying to fight the battle. Wait
- 9:13Speaker 2: till you win your next mic. Just talk about it.
- 9:17Speaker 2: And you're like, cool. So comics are funny both ways. Right, right, right.
- 9:27Speaker 2: We're not good. We're not doing great as a unit.
- 9:30Speaker 1: We're just a bunch of crazy people. No, yeah, 100%. Okay,
- 9:36Speaker 1: second question before we get into this pop quiz. Because
- 9:40Speaker 1: did you know there was a pop quiz?
- 9:41Speaker 2: I felt it. Once you said it's the same as
- 9:43Speaker 2: the other one, I'm like, oh, pop quiz is happening. Yeah. Yeah.
- 9:46Speaker 2: And I dominated the other one. Don't ask anyone. Don't
- 9:49Speaker 2: even look back at the other footage.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Don't even look at it. I killed it.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Don't worry about it. Don't check it.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Don't worry about it. I got that one out of
- 9:57Speaker 1: the bag. um i want to what was the last
- 10:01Speaker 1: three things that you googled oh it was your last
- 10:05Speaker 1: three google searches.
- 10:06Speaker 2: I can tell you right now i'm just gonna let's
- 10:09Speaker 2: just go to google history um i.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Feel like you could tell a lot about a person
- 10:16Speaker 1: by what they're googling Mine's a lot of spelling.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Mine is... Okay, this morning I looked up Steam Decks
- 10:31Speaker 2: and then... It's like a video game handheld thing. And
- 10:36Speaker 2: then before that I looked up Crossroads because I was
- 10:41Speaker 2: doing a comedy show and it was a fundraiser for
- 10:43Speaker 2: a school called Crossroads. Found out it's a private school.
- 10:47Speaker 2: And then lastly... It was... It was Fletchender Evolution level
- 10:59Speaker 2: for Pokemon Legends Z.
- 11:06Speaker 1: One more time?
- 11:07Speaker 2: Fletchender? It's a fire... I think it's fire, but it's
- 11:13Speaker 2: a flying Pokemon. It makes me think it's fire. Because
- 11:16Speaker 2: the full evolution... is Talonflame. Oh! So it starts off
- 11:22Speaker 2: as Fletchling, then it goes to Fletchender, and it goes
- 11:25Speaker 2: to Talonflame. But I felt like I was already at, like,
- 11:28Speaker 2: level 30... I was at, like, level 34, and I
- 11:33Speaker 2: was like, doesn't he evolve at level 32? So then
- 11:36Speaker 2: I looked it up, and then that's... And then I
- 11:39Speaker 2: was like, oh, I got a couple more levels to go. So,
- 11:42Speaker 2: I'm playing Pokemon Legends EA right now. I should have
- 11:45Speaker 2: been playing it a while ago, but I got caught
- 11:46Speaker 2: up in a lot of other games. So.
- 11:49Speaker 1: That's your game of choice right now, Pokemon?
- 11:51Speaker 2: It's a couple things. Right now, I'm playing two games,
- 11:57Speaker 2: and I stream. I stream on Twitch. Okay, yeah, yeah.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Follow you on Twitch. What's your Twitch? The same thing
- 12:04Speaker 2: as mine. Everything else? LOL Jordan. So my game, my
- 12:10Speaker 2: own game that I'm playing in my leisure time, Pokemon
- 12:14Speaker 2: Legends EA. That's like... Pokemon, so the first ever game
- 12:17Speaker 2: console I ever got in life was a Game Boy Color.
- 12:20Speaker 2: And the first game was Pokemon Red. So literally, from
- 12:24Speaker 2: a kid to now, I have played every single mainline Pokemon.
- 12:30Speaker 2: I haven't played all the side ones, like Pokemon Puzzle Quest.
- 12:32Speaker 2: I haven't done those. But like every Pokemon game from
- 12:36Speaker 2: red and yellow to Legends EA, Scarlet, Violet, Blue, Diamond,
- 12:42Speaker 2: Brilliant Diamond. Gold, Heart, Gold, XY. I've played all of them. Okay.
- 12:50Speaker 2: I will never not play a Pokemon game. They're about
- 12:52Speaker 2: to announce a new one pretty soon, which is rumored
- 12:56Speaker 2: to be Pokemon Wind and Waves. You didn't think it
- 12:58Speaker 2: was this nerdy, but it is. Oh, I'm into it. Great.
- 13:03Speaker 2: And then the game I'm actually streaming right now, first
- 13:05Speaker 2: time playing it, should have played it like last year,
- 13:07Speaker 2: but it's a game called Ghost of Yotei. It is
- 13:11Speaker 2: a samurai game. Really great. It's a sequel to Ghost
- 13:15Speaker 2: of Tsushima, which is one of my favorite games. That
- 13:17Speaker 2: game is so good. The game is incredible. So this
- 13:20Speaker 2: one you're playing is a woman. Her name is Atsu.
- 13:24Speaker 2: And in true dramatic samurai movie fashions and stuff like that,
- 13:31Speaker 2: you are bloodlusted for revenge because the villain of the
- 13:35Speaker 2: game has massacred your whole family. And you will not rest.
- 13:41Speaker 2: until revenge is had but the story is so intricate
- 13:44Speaker 2: it's it's a movie as a as a great game
- 13:48Speaker 2: so good so good i.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Recently watched blue-eyed samurai on netflix have you seen that.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I have heard of this but i have not seen
- 13:58Speaker 2: this is.
- 13:58Speaker 1: It great it's good it's really really good it's really
- 14:01Speaker 1: it's similar to to what you just said okay very
- 14:05Speaker 1: similar to the game you just described i think you
- 14:07Speaker 1: would enjoy it and it also has some sort of
- 14:09Speaker 1: historical has a little bit of a historical trues in
- 14:13Speaker 1: there like timeline wise like things that happen around the
- 14:17Speaker 1: right time.
- 14:17Speaker 2: I'd say wouldn't it be funny by the way if
- 14:20Speaker 2: like anytime they're about to make a samurai movie there's
- 14:24Speaker 2: like okay we're gonna make a move about samurais okay
- 14:26Speaker 2: who's dying is it all the family or just like.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Who's Yeah, everybody's dead.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Everybody? Okay, cool, cool. Okay, so we have a base, right?
- 14:34Speaker 2: That's like when you make a bowl at like a
- 14:37Speaker 2: Chipotle or something. You're like, what's your base? Family.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Base is dead family.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Base is definitely dead family. And then... Sprinkle on a little.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Betrayal.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Betrayal. You gotta sprinkle in betrayal. Outcast.
- 14:51Speaker 1: You gotta sprinkle in some outcastiness.
- 14:53Speaker 2: You gotta sprinkle in.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Lack of friends and family. Lack of support overall.
- 14:57Speaker 2: The protein... Of the bowl would have to be. They
- 15:04Speaker 2: they were not trained. They weren't beforehand. Yeah. Routine is
- 15:11Speaker 2: let's make them the best version.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Or disgruntled mentor, like a mentor who didn't want to
- 15:18Speaker 1: take them on.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Another great one.
- 15:19Speaker 1: That's usually the mentor who was not happy to be
- 15:22Speaker 1: here but just couldn't solve their abilities and was like,
- 15:26Speaker 1: I guess I can do one more.
- 15:28Speaker 2: And they're just like, go and get yourself killed then
- 15:30Speaker 2: because the student doesn't want to listen to them because
- 15:34Speaker 2: they're just so angry as a mentor. We just wrote
- 15:37Speaker 2: every great movie. We also just low-key wrote, I don't know,
- 15:42Speaker 2: the next six John Wicks.
- 15:44Speaker 1: The next six John Wicks. And I'm going to watch them.
- 15:48Speaker 2: I'm going to listen.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I'm going to be.
- 15:49Speaker 2: 20 John wicks. Only. If it's still dealing around the lower.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Of the Baba Yaga. It doesn't have to be in it,
- 15:59Speaker 2: but it has to be about that. That just, yeah.
- 16:03Speaker 2: The foundation. Is the base is the Baba Yaga. Okay. Sorry.
- 16:06Speaker 2: What do you have next? Right.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Before we get the yapping and we write more movies,
- 16:11Speaker 1: I'm enjoying this movie quest, but let's get into this
- 16:14Speaker 1: pop quiz.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Okay. I just thought it was an anime and I
- 16:19Speaker 2: was like oh so yeah it is okay sorry pop quiz.
- 16:24Speaker 1: It's good though awesome yeah uh pop quiz so you
- 16:30Speaker 1: know how this works if you get the answer right
- 16:32Speaker 1: you get a point if you get it wrong I
- 16:34Speaker 1: get a point because the house always wins baby.
- 16:37Speaker 2: You can't deal these cards you can't shuffle these.
- 16:42Speaker 1: You can't shuffle these you're not the house how are
- 16:44Speaker 1: you the house right now I'm in my house I'm
- 16:46Speaker 1: the house It's true.
- 16:48Speaker 2: I wouldn't be surprised, by the way, if Carlos right
- 16:50Speaker 2: now is like, can y'all just say the damn....
- 16:53Speaker 3: No, I was like, talk about Yotei more, because I
- 16:56Speaker 3: play that game too.
- 16:57Speaker 2: That game is dope. I am still like... I haven't
- 17:03Speaker 2: learned all the stances. I just got the Odachi.
- 17:09Speaker 3: As soon as it came out, my wife knows. She's like,
- 17:12Speaker 3: he's gone. There's hours racked up, and I got a
- 17:14Speaker 3: room where I just came out to the same thing. Oh,
- 17:17Speaker 3: I was like, I wanted to ask a question, though,
- 17:19Speaker 3: because you were here doing a residency, right, in Vegas?
- 17:22Speaker 2: Yes. Yeah, how was that?
- 17:24Speaker 3: How was that experience of doing a residency at the Luxor, yeah?
- 17:27Speaker 2: Mm-hmm. It was great, and it wasn't at the same time. Yeah,
- 17:34Speaker 2: the pros and cons. It was great. Honestly, everything about
- 17:37Speaker 2: it is great. Doing the shows is epic because it
- 17:41Speaker 2: was a residency doing the America's Got Talent Superstar Show.
- 17:45Speaker 2: at the Luxor main room theater room. So that was great. Honestly,
- 17:50Speaker 2: it was like the only two cons I would say,
- 17:55Speaker 2: only two. Number one, as a comedian, you can't really
- 18:00Speaker 2: work outside of the show because the shows are at
- 18:04Speaker 2: night and the shows were every day except for, I
- 18:08Speaker 2: think we had like Monday, right? Yeah. Except for Monday.
- 18:12Speaker 2: So it's like, I don't know what's really happening in Vegas.
- 18:16Speaker 2: And it's like, you don't, so every day it's like, Oh,
- 18:19Speaker 2: do you want to hit up another mic? I mean,
- 18:21Speaker 2: unless it's the dirty at 1230 and you can't do
- 18:23Speaker 2: that on demand, I don't know what to do. Cause
- 18:26Speaker 2: the show's in late. Uh, the, uh, so it's a
- 18:29Speaker 2: con and it's like, you're working, you're getting paid. You
- 18:31Speaker 2: just have to do the jokes. You can't try out
- 18:34Speaker 2: new material when people are paying money for an agency show.
- 18:38Speaker 2: You can at your own risk, but you won't be
- 18:40Speaker 2: asked back for, cause I would do like three months stints, uh,
- 18:45Speaker 2: every other three months because it was me switching off
- 18:48Speaker 2: with Mikey Winfield. So it's like, if I didn't do good,
- 18:52Speaker 2: they wouldn't have just asked me back. So it's like,
- 18:53Speaker 2: you have to do the A material all the time.
- 18:57Speaker 2: There's no changing it. You can, but you got to
- 18:59Speaker 2: switch it out for other A material. And then the
- 19:03Speaker 2: biggest con is staying residency-wise for longer than a week end,
- 19:11Speaker 2: longer than a weekend on the strip is trash. Yes.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Because you don't, at least for me, in my situation,
- 19:20Speaker 2: if you had a year contract, like a straight year,
- 19:23Speaker 2: you can get, like, they'd put you somewhere in, like,
- 19:27Speaker 2: Henderson or Summerland, like, where you, mind you, you have
- 19:30Speaker 2: to get your own place, but you can leave the strip.
- 19:33Speaker 2: But if you're there for, like, three months, two months,
- 19:35Speaker 2: four months at a time, they book your room on
- 19:40Speaker 2: the Las Vegas strip and, ugh, Bro, it's just like,
- 19:47Speaker 2: imagine being in LA. LA. But like. On freaking Hollywood.
- 19:54Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Imagine being by like the Chinese Theater. And you live
- 19:57Speaker 2: right next to the Chinese Theater. And everything next to
- 20:00Speaker 2: the Chinese Theater. Is more Chinese Theaters. So it's just.
- 20:04Speaker 2: It's all tourists. And you're like. Where's the. Where's the
- 20:07Speaker 2: grocery store? You see that? You see that little entrance? Oh,
- 20:12Speaker 2: where you can park? No, that's actually hotel parking. But
- 20:15Speaker 2: if you walk, you'll get there in 30 minutes because
- 20:19Speaker 2: you can't walk straight. You got to go around and
- 20:22Speaker 2: up and down to get it. It was in the motels.
- 20:26Speaker 2: It's the worst. It's everything was expensive. It's what the
- 20:30Speaker 2: shows are great.
- 20:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:33Speaker 3: I always say, because I live here, and I don't
- 20:35Speaker 3: go to the strip, because it's too much. It's always happening.
- 20:38Speaker 3: It's always going on, and it's always tourist. I was like,
- 20:41Speaker 3: Denny's got a DJ. That should tell you enough. You
- 20:46Speaker 3: walk in there, it's like, boots with the fur. I
- 20:48Speaker 3: was like, yo, I just want pancakes, man.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Camila, have you been to Vegas? Have you worked there? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 20:54Speaker 1: I've never worked in Vegas. Well, I've done a few
- 20:57Speaker 1: shows there, but I've never extended work there.
- 21:00Speaker 2: If you ever do... Any extended work there, I learned quickly,
- 21:06Speaker 2: which I'm assuming you figured out, Carlos, just living there.
- 21:09Speaker 2: If you ask any local you come across in Vegas,
- 21:14Speaker 2: ask them how often do they go to the Strip.
- 21:16Speaker 2: And you'll realize they are literally L.A. people. Because L.A. people,
- 21:23Speaker 2: it's like, how often do you go to Roscoe's? Once
- 21:27Speaker 2: every four years, fam. Right. When do you go into
- 21:32Speaker 2: the Pantages? maybe this millennia. I don't know. I'll go.
- 21:38Speaker 2: I'll go. And don't even ask us about the Walk
- 21:41Speaker 2: of Fame. But it's like all of Vegas is like, oh,
- 21:45Speaker 2: do you live in Vegas? No. And when they do
- 21:48Speaker 2: live in Vegas, oh, why are you on the strip? God,
- 21:51Speaker 2: my friends in town. And they don't sound happy. So
- 21:55Speaker 2: we're gonna go.
- 21:55Speaker 1: They don't sound happy.
- 21:57Speaker 2: We're gonna do the usual. That's what it is. So,
- 22:03Speaker 2: That was my experience of learning Vegas all the time.
- 22:11Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 22:12Speaker 1: That does sound like Vegas.
- 22:14Speaker 2: That sounds about right. We derailed a.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Major side quest.
- 22:22Speaker 2: I'm sorry, guys. I loved it. Question number one.
- 22:29Speaker 1: How many Oscars has Martin Scorsese won?
- 22:38Speaker 2: Should I get a point because it's Martin Scorsese and
- 22:42Speaker 2: then I don't answer the Oscar?
- 22:43Speaker 1: We're going to start picking up my reading.
- 22:48Speaker 2: We're going to have a rough time. I'm only doing
- 22:52Speaker 2: that because I don't know the answer. So I'm trying
- 22:55Speaker 2: to find a way to finagle a point. Carlos, do
- 23:01Speaker 2: we have a. 5 on there?
- 23:02Speaker 1: We got a.
- 23:03Speaker 2: 5 on the scale. Okay, so yeah, do. 5. And
- 23:07Speaker 2: then I'm going to take a stab at the actual question.
- 23:12Speaker 2: And then if I get it wrong, just put zero.
- 23:14Speaker 2: So don't look for. 5. Just leave it at that's his. 5. Okay,
- 23:18Speaker 2: so I'm going to say Oscar-wise, he's got to be
- 23:23Speaker 2: double digits. I'm going to take a stab and go 14. Yep.
- 23:35Speaker 2: The answer's one. One. Crazy. I was just guessing based
- 23:45Speaker 2: off of when you talk about the biggest directors. Right, right.
- 23:49Speaker 2: His name is always... He was upset about Marvel. So
- 23:53Speaker 2: I was like, well, this guy's gotta have at least 10.
- 23:57Speaker 4: Una.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Una Oscars. Do we know what the one is? Carlos,
- 24:03Speaker 2: do you know the one? He got departed. Makes sense.
- 24:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Frickin' Leo DiCaprio.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Right.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Okay. All right. Question number two.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Name one of the three lines of defense in the
- 24:20Speaker 1: immune system.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Well, you got your linebackers. Right? I don't know if
- 24:35Speaker 2: they have the guards, like the right guard, left guard,
- 24:39Speaker 2: defensive ends. I'm going to guess. It's not guessing. I'm
- 24:45Speaker 2: just going to say names that I've heard of. White
- 24:51Speaker 2: blood cells. Look at you! Look at you, white blood cells!
- 24:57Speaker 2: It's probably the coolest thing about white blood cells is
- 25:02Speaker 2: those are the only things really that are always ride
- 25:06Speaker 2: or die for the black people like they will guard
- 25:10Speaker 2: everything they don't care about race color they're like yeah
- 25:14Speaker 2: we're white blood cells but this is my black body this.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Is my black body i wonder why they're called white
- 25:22Speaker 1: blood cells are they white or is that propaganda.
- 25:26Speaker 2: And hey jesus is white not white jesus You see?
- 25:34Speaker 2: Wouldn't it be funny if the white blood cells were
- 25:36Speaker 2: Egyptian blood cells? Secretly Egyptian?
- 25:42Speaker 3: No.
- 25:43Speaker 1: I'm sick of them calling us that.
- 25:45Speaker 2: White blood cells. Right.
- 25:50Speaker 1: That's crazy. White blood cells. Let me see what color
- 25:53Speaker 1: they are. Just because they're white in the textbook.
- 25:59Speaker 2: There's so many random things. You know, teeth are supposed
- 26:03Speaker 2: to be brown. Right, right. Are they supposed to be brown?
- 26:07Speaker 2: We're brushing the good stuff away so they can stay white.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Stay woke, Black people.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Stay woke. It's February for another week. And we talking
- 26:19Speaker 1: about white blood cells.
- 26:21Speaker 2: This needs to be clips right here. The world needs
- 26:23Speaker 2: to see this.
- 26:24Speaker 1: It needs to see how militant Camille and Jordan are secretly.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Oh, Lord.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Okay, here's the next question. Where is Machu Picchu located?
- 26:38Speaker 2: Wherever... I'm not going to say what first just popped
- 26:43Speaker 2: up in my brain.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Was it Emperor's New Guru?
- 26:46Speaker 2: No. It was about to be... Well, Machu Picchu got
- 26:49Speaker 2: to be where Manny Pacquiao is because Manny and Machu.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Manny and Machu.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Based off the laws of rhyming.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Manny and Machu. Machu... So Machu Picchu... Gotta be in...
- 27:07Speaker 2: Gotta be South America. Gotta be South America. That's a start. Okay.
- 27:14Speaker 2: I was hoping you'd be like, okay, we'll just end
- 27:16Speaker 2: it there. But nope, we're gonna keep going. I'm gonna
- 27:18Speaker 2: say Machu Picchu... It feels like... Machu Picchu. If you
- 27:24Speaker 2: say it fast enough, it sounds like it could be
- 27:28Speaker 2: like a little bit of Spanish... So we're just, what type?
- 27:32Speaker 2: Great question. We're going to guess. We're going to be
- 27:35Speaker 2: like Brazil?
- 27:39Speaker 1: No, but I like what you did there.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 27:42Speaker 1: I like the way that if we had the. 5,
- 27:45Speaker 1: you would get it. I don't think we got that button.
- 27:47Speaker 1: But if we end up, we might add a. 5
- 27:50Speaker 1: button just for you because you'd be close.
- 27:52Speaker 2: No one else gets a. 5 button. No one else
- 27:53Speaker 2: gets a. 5 button. Jordan earns his. 5. It's Peru. Peru.
- 27:59Speaker 2: No joke. That was my second guess. I felt it.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I felt like he was going to get it right.
- 28:05Speaker 1: I was like, I feel like he closed.
- 28:07Speaker 2: I feel like he closed it in on it. I
- 28:08Speaker 2: was like, Brazil, Peru, Peru, Brazil. But then I said Spanish,
- 28:13Speaker 2: and I feel like Spanish hits harder in Brazil than
- 28:17Speaker 2: I think with Peru.
- 28:18Speaker 1: I think they speak Portuguese in Brazil, though.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Do they? Here's the thing. I'm not the one to
- 28:28Speaker 2: talk about The only real geography thing I knew, and
- 28:33Speaker 2: I'm proud of this, I knew Puerto Rico was a
- 28:36Speaker 2: part of America. Boom. Look at you.
- 28:39Speaker 1: And that's better than a lot of Americans.
- 28:43Speaker 2: That's you smarter than an average bear. That's what I'm saying.
- 28:47Speaker 4: And they'll be like, what country is right above southern.
- 29:00Speaker 2: South Korea, I'd be like, damn. Is it Japan? And
- 29:06Speaker 2: they'd be like, wrong, North Korea. And I'm like, ah.
- 29:13Speaker 2: That's how, geography-wise, I'm trash.
- 29:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:19Speaker 1: I know North and South Korea. And I know there's
- 29:22Speaker 1: Russia's near there.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Oh. Okay.
- 29:28Speaker 1: I just, Russia's big.
- 29:30Speaker 2: I know that.
- 29:31Speaker 1: It's near everything in Asia, I think. It's near most
- 29:35Speaker 1: of it because it's a.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Big part of it. I also know Russia is near water.
- 29:41Speaker 1: I think that's true, too. I think that's... There's.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Water somewhere around. It could be on all sides, but
- 29:48Speaker 2: it's somewhere near one of the sides.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Near one of the sides, for sure.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Russia also, I know it starts with an R. So there's,
- 29:58Speaker 2: I know a few. See, you're doubting yourself. You're doubting yourself.
- 30:02Speaker 2: You know a little bit. You dabble. You dabble in geography.
- 30:07Speaker 1: See, don't talk too bad about yourself. You know what
- 30:11Speaker 1: you got going on.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Thank you. Appreciate it. That's why you got the. 5.
- 30:14Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying.. 5. You got the. 5 knowledge.
- 30:20Speaker 2: All right. Next question.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Who plays the piano in The Muppets?
- 30:29Speaker 2: No, I need, no.
- 30:33Speaker 1: I know, this is going to hurt. This feels like
- 30:36Speaker 1: square in your department.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Once you said it, I was like, my brain was like,
- 30:41Speaker 2: just say, and it ran away. And I was like, oh.
- 30:47Speaker 2: This is how bad my brain is right now after
- 30:50Speaker 2: doing a geography question. My first, the first thing that
- 30:54Speaker 2: popped in my head was like, oh, Michael Caine. Michael Caine,
- 31:01Speaker 2: he was the one human actor in a Muppet Christmas Carol.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Insane. He was the one human actor in the Muppet
- 31:12Speaker 1: Christmas Carol. Well, if you need a hint, it is
- 31:15Speaker 1: a Muppet.
- 31:16Speaker 2: It is a Muppet. No, I know.
- 31:18Speaker 4: I know.
- 31:19Speaker 2: It is not a human. But that's why I was like,
- 31:22Speaker 2: my brain is... Jeez. Jeez. damn damn is it the
- 31:38Speaker 2: dude with the orange spiky hair cause I feel like
- 31:40Speaker 2: he's a conductor most of the time I can't even
- 31:44Speaker 2: tell you no names right now do you know who
- 31:48Speaker 2: I'm talking about whether it's you or Carlos when I
- 31:50Speaker 2: say the muppet with the red spike he's like a
- 31:53Speaker 2: pencil thin yeah he's a conductor dude and his hair
- 31:58Speaker 2: goes up like this yeah thank you beaker beaker yeah
- 32:01Speaker 2: That would be my guess, but I know it's Rolf.
- 32:03Speaker 1: But that's not right.
- 32:04Speaker 2: I know it's not right. I'm just going to say
- 32:07Speaker 2: that because I don't have anything else.
- 32:08Speaker 1: That's fine.
- 32:10Speaker 2: It's Rolf or Wolf. Yes, the dog.
- 32:16Speaker 3: You remember the dog with the ears?
- 32:20Speaker 2: Rolf.
- 32:20Speaker 3: Rolf.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Rolf.
- 32:21Speaker 3: Because it's spelled like he's barking.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Rolf.
- 32:24Speaker 1: It's spelled like Rolf.
- 32:26Speaker 2: I feel disgusted. I don't even know what's happening.
- 32:32Speaker 1: That was deeply in your department. Now you're just grown.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Now you're just grown. Just a regular stupid adult like
- 32:39Speaker 1: the rest of us. Alright, next question. What temperature does
- 32:44Speaker 1: water freeze at? Is that how you say that? What
- 32:49Speaker 1: temperature does water freeze? Fahrenheit or Celsius?
- 32:54Speaker 2: I'm sure I couldn't tell you Celsius if you gave
- 32:57Speaker 2: me the answer.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Celsius is easier.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Depending on who you ask. Whatever they... I'm like that
- 33:08Speaker 2: dude where it's like, however they taught me in school,
- 33:11Speaker 2: that's how I'm going to be. I saw a video
- 33:14Speaker 2: online where they're like, two plus two is four. Unless you...
- 33:19Speaker 2: I switched to the next. I was like, I'm not
- 33:23Speaker 2: about to do this. And I'm done. I will only
- 33:27Speaker 2: indulge when my kid is in school and he needs help.
- 33:32Speaker 2: It's going to happen fast. It's going to be asking,
- 33:37Speaker 2: it's going to be him asking me and me asking
- 33:40Speaker 2: someone else who knows. But I won't tell them I'm
- 33:42Speaker 2: asking somebody else. I'll be like, fam, that's the square
- 33:45Speaker 2: root of seven. Come on, baby. You don't know this?
- 33:52Speaker 3: Fam, it's 2.9765725.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Come on, now everybody knows that. That's how I would
- 33:58Speaker 2: put it. So I'm going to say, based on No,
- 34:06Speaker 2: that's called below freezing. Then it was already freezing temperatures.
- 34:10Speaker 2: Let's say like 10 degrees. Did you already put a...
- 34:19Speaker 2: I was like 10, 10, 10, 4. Damn. Right. It's
- 34:23Speaker 2: 32 Fahrenheit, but Celsius is zero.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Water freezes at zero Celsius and it boils at 100.
- 34:38Speaker 1: That Celsius is easier. America makes everything hard. That's a
- 34:42Speaker 1: whole nother story.
- 34:43Speaker 2: To be fair, though, I have seen something about that.
- 34:46Speaker 2: And I was like, I've already learned the harder way now.
- 34:49Speaker 2: So it's like. It's not in the hard way. It's, yeah.
- 34:53Speaker 3: No, fair.
- 34:53Speaker 2: Okay. Sorry. That may not have been as funny as
- 35:04Speaker 2: I thought it was. But I was like... But I
- 35:09Speaker 2: enjoyed it. That was for me, really, is what that
- 35:12Speaker 2: was for. And there's going to be one viewer who
- 35:15Speaker 2: gets it. Just one. Everybody else is going to be like,
- 35:18Speaker 2: I'm not buying a ticket to this guy's show. But
- 35:20Speaker 2: that one is going to be like... I'm going to
- 35:24Speaker 2: bring one friend. Because I like fan and height. Oh, man. Okay, sorry.
- 35:32Speaker 1: He'd say, I love a pun. What is Edward Norton's
- 35:36Speaker 1: character's name in Fight Club?
- 35:40Speaker 2: I'm going to be honest. I've seen Fight Club one time.
- 35:42Speaker 2: I have not seen it since. Great movie. I saw
- 35:47Speaker 2: that movie more than 15. More than 10 years ago.
- 35:51Speaker 2: I won't say 15. So we are going to say
- 35:56Speaker 2: Bruce Banner.
- 36:01Speaker 1: It's Bruce Banner.
- 36:03Speaker 2: In the more popular Edward Norton movie, The Hulk. I
- 36:08Speaker 2: would argue Fight Club is more popular than The Hulk.
- 36:13Speaker 4: I know.
- 36:13Speaker 1: I just re-watched The Hulk for a whole Marvel re-watch.
- 36:17Speaker 2: It really wasn't bad. It really wasn't bad. It's a
- 36:20Speaker 2: fantastic movie. It just technically doesn't count. But it does count.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Because everything about it counts. It's just that's not The Hulk.
- 36:33Speaker 2: That's it.
- 36:37Speaker 1: And his name in the Fight Club was narrator.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Crazy. Hilarious. Wait, how did he get that? Was Morgan
- 36:45Speaker 2: Freeman not available? How did he get that job?
- 36:49Speaker 1: You know, Morgan Freeman was busy being old and playing God.
- 36:53Speaker 1: He had a lot of stuff on his plate.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Honestly, Timeline could match up of him being God, literally,
- 37:00Speaker 2: in Bruce Almighty and Fight Club. You ask your question,
- 37:04Speaker 2: I'm going to look up. When did Bruce Almighty come out?
- 37:07Speaker 1: I'm wondering if he couldn't have been on Fight Club.
- 37:14Speaker 2: No. Fight Club was 1999. Bruce Almighty was 2003. Not
- 37:20Speaker 2: too far off. Okay.
- 37:25Speaker 1: What is the capital of California?
- 37:29Speaker 2: Come on. Look at you. Look at this guy.
- 37:32Speaker 1: He said he doesn't know geography.
- 37:34Speaker 2: He said he doesn't know it.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Say he doesn't know it.
- 37:37Speaker 2: Doubt yourself. I just did Valentine's weekend in Sacramento. And
- 37:41Speaker 2: me and Jenny did talk about capitals. At least California
- 37:45Speaker 2: and that it's the capital. But there's not really a
- 37:49Speaker 2: lot to do in Sacramento. Which is crazy. You think
- 37:55Speaker 2: about capital and then you think about California.
- 37:57Speaker 1: How big of a state it is, yeah.
- 37:59Speaker 2: How poppin' a good chunk of our cities are. You
- 38:02Speaker 2: could've did LA. Really, should've did San Francisco. And then
- 38:07Speaker 2: you have San Diego. That's probably it. You can maybe
- 38:16Speaker 2: choose another city that someone would fight for and then
- 38:18Speaker 2: we'll all be like, nah. But the San Francisco, San Diego, LA.
- 38:24Speaker 2: You would think. Get one of those. Get one of those. Sacramento.
- 38:31Speaker 1: And Sacramento's not going to let you take it from
- 38:33Speaker 1: them either.
- 38:34Speaker 2: They're not going to let it go. Sure won't.
- 38:37Speaker 1: They're going to hang their hat on that.
- 38:38Speaker 2: But celebrities live where we are. Yeah, but....
- 38:42Speaker 1: But are you the capital?
- 38:44Speaker 2: But they're lowercase. Lowercase. Because I'm capital. Something about me, baby.
- 38:52Speaker 2: I'm capital.
- 38:54Speaker 3: All right.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Almost done. What was the name of OutKast's first album?
- 39:02Speaker 2: I don't know if Carlos is choosing these questions on
- 39:05Speaker 2: purpose because I knew it. So this is what happened.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Just to fill you in, on the Sacramento one with
- 39:13Speaker 2: Blue Journey, I was like, not really great with rap.
- 39:17Speaker 2: I can't tell you a lot of a lot. And
- 39:21Speaker 2: I'm not, even when it comes to music, I'm just
- 39:23Speaker 2: not good at titles. I'm one of those dudes where
- 39:27Speaker 2: it's like, oh, what's your favorite song? I'll give you
- 39:29Speaker 2: the beat. before I give you the words. And then
- 39:33Speaker 2: when they're like, what's the title? I'm like, I just
- 39:34Speaker 2: gave you the beat. You think I'm about to produce
- 39:38Speaker 2: titles after the beat? Okay. It wasn't like Aquanemony? Aquemini? Yeah.
- 39:49Speaker 1: But no, that's not it.
- 39:51Speaker 2: Great. Is that an album name? Yeah. That's a. 5.
- 39:58Speaker 1: We're going to get a. 5 button.
- 40:03Speaker 2: We're getting close. I don't do Black People Proud when
- 40:06Speaker 2: it comes to rap. I don't do Black People Proud
- 40:09Speaker 2: when it comes to rap. But that wasn't bad. Black
- 40:12Speaker 2: Disney characters in Disney shows. I'm all day, baby.
- 40:16Speaker 1: And we need people to do different things.
- 40:19Speaker 2: So that's totally fine.
- 40:21Speaker 1: It's Southern Playalistic Cadillac Music.
- 40:24Speaker 2: All one word. I know that name because I've heard
- 40:28Speaker 2: the name, but I don't associate. I associate the name
- 40:33Speaker 2: with Outkast. I don't know how I associate it, but
- 40:35Speaker 2: now I know it's the album name.
- 40:38Speaker 1: You learn something new every day.
- 40:39Speaker 2: I'm going to forget it tomorrow.
- 40:40Speaker 1: I'm going to forget it tomorrow. And then you can
- 40:43Speaker 1: learn it again tomorrow. Learn it again next week. Just
- 40:46Speaker 1: a little cycle.
- 40:47Speaker 2: It's a nice little... See, I'm not I'm not playing
- 40:51Speaker 2: rap music like that. So I don't know Southern Playlistic,
- 40:55Speaker 2: but I am bumping the princess and the frog. You
- 40:58Speaker 2: see what I'm stay woke black people.
- 41:00Speaker 1: So we almost there.
- 41:02Speaker 2: We, we almost there. Well, freaking done. I was trying
- 41:08Speaker 2: to figure it out, but you know what you did?
- 41:10Speaker 2: You dug a little deeper.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Don't doubt the girl when it comes to Tiana.
- 41:15Speaker 2: You going to bring up my girl Tiana? You did it.
- 41:18Speaker 1: One thing we don't talk about, we talk about Princess Tiana.
- 41:22Speaker 2: And the frog. Just as much as I love Evangeline. Bro,
- 41:29Speaker 2: I could do this all day. I could do this
- 41:32Speaker 2: all day. Captain America style. You got like 15 clips
- 41:35Speaker 2: with this, Carlos. And they're all nerdy. They're all nerdy.
- 41:41Speaker 1: And they're all nerdy.
- 41:45Speaker 2: Okay.
- 41:47Speaker 1: Number nine. How many championships does Michael Jordan have?
- 41:51Speaker 2: Six. I'm technically kind of named after him. My dad's
- 41:59Speaker 2: from Chicago.
- 42:01Speaker 1: So that came out of your... That came through the DNA.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Literally, if it was his first choice, my name would
- 42:07Speaker 2: have been Michael. Okay. So the second choice was Jordan.
- 42:14Speaker 1: Fine, fine.
- 42:15Speaker 2: If she would have said no, my name would probably
- 42:18Speaker 2: be Jeffrey. Like, that's his middle name, Michael Jeffrey Jordan.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Little known fact.
- 42:26Speaker 2: I can go, I can do a couple of stats
- 42:30Speaker 2: on Michael Jordan, but fun fact, my first knowledge of
- 42:35Speaker 2: Michael Jordan wasn't necessarily basketball knowledge. It was Space Jam,
- 42:41Speaker 2: which is still in a sense basketball. But like I
- 42:45Speaker 2: was born in 93. Space Jam came out in like,
- 42:48Speaker 2: I don't know, 98, 99. So by the time I
- 42:50Speaker 2: was old enough to process sports and movies and stuff,
- 42:56Speaker 2: I was watching Space Jam before I was watching basketball. So, yeah.
- 43:01Speaker 2: Come on. Everybody get up. It's time to jam. Yeah.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Space Jam. Real jam.
- 43:06Speaker 1: 96, I feel like, but I'm not sure.
- 43:09Speaker 2: No, I think he won his championship in 96. It
- 43:12Speaker 2: was his last one of his first rings. So it
- 43:13Speaker 2: was 93, 94, 95. I think it was 97. It
- 43:14Speaker 2: might have been 97. Hold on. Well, you were right.
- 43:16Speaker 2: It was 96. In my mind, they were filming it
- 43:18Speaker 2: in 96 and it came out in 97. But nope. Yeah.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Big Space Jam fan over here. Big fan. fair they're selling.
- 43:43Speaker 1: I saw that i saw that at target which is hard.
- 43:47Speaker 5: What's like damn you and i'm not gonna get it
- 43:52Speaker 5: and what i need i need someone white to buy
- 43:56Speaker 5: it and then give me They're.
- 44:00Speaker 2: Giving us the hard press.
- 44:01Speaker 1: They're giving us the hard press. I've never been so
- 44:04Speaker 1: torn in my life because you can't get it. And
- 44:07Speaker 1: then I can't even, even if I did secretly get it,
- 44:09Speaker 1: I can't even show nobody because I'm not supposed to
- 44:11Speaker 1: have it because they know where it's from. They're giving
- 44:13Speaker 1: me the hard press.
- 44:14Speaker 2: You get it and then you have to put your
- 44:17Speaker 2: own custom logo on it and you have to be
- 44:21Speaker 2: a conspiracy theorist every time you're with your friends. You
- 44:25Speaker 2: got that from Target? Bro, you ain't going to believe this.
- 44:27Speaker 2: You know I designed this first? Bro, you're not going
- 44:30Speaker 2: to believe this.
- 44:31Speaker 1: This is my prototype.
- 44:33Speaker 2: You got a brand? Bro, I've been at a brand.
- 44:37Speaker 2: So now y'all don't support me? And then next thing
- 44:39Speaker 2: you know, I'm talking to old boy and he's like, oh,
- 44:42Speaker 2: that's a dope hoodie. And he wouldn't leave it alone.
- 44:44Speaker 2: I was like, yo, get off my hoodie. Target dropped
- 44:47Speaker 2: a week later. You have to do that every time
- 44:50Speaker 2: you wear the jacket. Okay. I'm into it. You got
- 44:54Speaker 2: to do that.
- 44:55Speaker 1: I might do it because it's worth it. Because I
- 44:57Speaker 1: really want it and.
- 44:58Speaker 2: I can't have it. Carlos after this, send me all
- 45:03Speaker 2: of these clips. I will post every single one of these.
- 45:07Speaker 2: I'm not even thinking about clips. I'm just like saying
- 45:10Speaker 2: because I post now on social media, my brain operates
- 45:14Speaker 2: the way comics do with other comics telling a joke.
- 45:18Speaker 2: You'll be like, oh man, my knee hurts. Clip. Put
- 45:21Speaker 2: that up. Put that up. That's going to go crazy.
- 45:24Speaker 2: I'm not thinking of it at the time. It's just
- 45:26Speaker 2: after it's all said, I'm just like, oh. It's that
- 45:32Speaker 2: freaking fast. But, yeah. Okay. Final Jeopardy.
- 45:38Speaker 1: You can wager all your points or how many points
- 45:41Speaker 1: you want.
- 45:42Speaker 2: Okay. Go big or go home. All three. All three.
- 45:46Speaker 2: All three. We going crazy.
- 45:48Speaker 1: All right. In Back to the Future, what year did
- 45:52Speaker 1: Marty McFly go back to.
- 45:58Speaker 2: What is up with my life right now? Look at
- 46:01Speaker 2: Carlos just did. Look at Carlos. You took your points
- 46:03Speaker 2: right away. You can see it in my reaction. And
- 46:06Speaker 2: I hate that it's a movie one. And it's like,
- 46:09Speaker 2: I should know this. I'm going to say something which
- 46:13Speaker 2: is going to be the reason why I know I'm
- 46:15Speaker 2: going to get it wrong. Okay? And if you're watching this,
- 46:20Speaker 2: I am so sorry. Not the biggest back to the
- 46:26Speaker 2: future I'm the dude where it's like, while y'all were
- 46:33Speaker 2: out here watching Back to the Future, bro, give me
- 46:36Speaker 2: the Brat Pack all day. 16 Candles, my guy? Breakfast Club,
- 46:42Speaker 2: my guy? Ferris B? Ferris B-Dog? Was he going to school?
- 46:48Speaker 2: This is day off, son. Oh, Weird Science?
- 46:52Speaker 1: Weird Science? She reminded me with science.
- 46:57Speaker 2: I'm not saying Back to the Future isn't a great movie.
- 47:02Speaker 2: I'm just saying I didn't care because I was too
- 47:06Speaker 2: busy learning about love and community and friendship. I was
- 47:14Speaker 2: too busy learning about friendship. Weird science and all that
- 47:18Speaker 2: is all about... The only thing Ferris Bueller is probably
- 47:21Speaker 2: the only one that's not necessarily about love. It's just
- 47:23Speaker 2: about community and friendship. And then just being there.
- 47:26Speaker 3: Me and you and having a good day. Constellation question then.
- 47:29Speaker 3: I got it then here from Weird Science. There was
- 47:33Speaker 3: two bullies and one... Robert Downey Jr.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Yeah, there it is. Robert Downey Jr. Don't you worry
- 47:42Speaker 2: about it. Robert Downey Jr. I know RDJ.
- 47:46Speaker 1: I know RDJ and his projects.
- 47:48Speaker 2: You ain't got to ask me. You got to ask me. Literally, these...
- 47:53Speaker 2: I remember when I learned it, I didn't learn about
- 47:56Speaker 2: Robert Downey Jr. being in Weird Science until, oddly enough,
- 48:00Speaker 2: Iron Man came out. Because, like, you know he's in
- 48:02Speaker 2: it if you look at him.
- 48:04Speaker 4: Right.
- 48:05Speaker 2: Oh, that's Robert Downey Jr. But he's not, like, a
- 48:07Speaker 2: prominent figure in the movie for real, for real. Because
- 48:10Speaker 2: you're so focused on the two bros and then the
- 48:15Speaker 2: science project lady blanking on their names. I'm glad you...
- 48:19Speaker 2: If this question went for that, I'd be like, damn,
- 48:20Speaker 2: forgot their names. But, like, you think about it, you
- 48:23Speaker 2: go back and you watch it, And it's like, that's
- 48:26Speaker 2: literally RDJ. It's not like, oh, he changed a lot
- 48:30Speaker 2: in the face. No, that is Robert Nathaniel Downey Jr.
- 48:34Speaker 2: in the face. So it's like, oh, how did I
- 48:36Speaker 2: never catch it?
- 48:38Speaker 1: He was born with that face. He came out his
- 48:40Speaker 1: mama looking like that for sure.
- 48:42Speaker 2: He still looks great. He looks fantastic. He's doing great.
- 48:46Speaker 1: He's doing great. Can't wait to doomsday. Super excited.
- 48:50Speaker 2: I'm into it. I'm trying to get like a squad together.
- 48:56Speaker 1: Important count me in i want to be there.
- 48:59Speaker 2: Low-key what i want to do and i've never done
- 49:01Speaker 2: it before uh but i've after watching some some people
- 49:04Speaker 2: i know rent a theater for avengers like in-game and
- 49:08Speaker 2: stuff like that yeah i gotta get the theater let
- 49:11Speaker 2: me just get a whole theater if i can rent
- 49:14Speaker 2: they have these new theaters where you can like rent
- 49:16Speaker 2: a vip room i saw it online and i just
- 49:19Speaker 2: saw the price of how much it costs. And I'm like, honestly,
- 49:21Speaker 2: it's doable. If everybody pitches in. Right. Right. Oh, I'm like,
- 49:26Speaker 2: I just want, but it's also, I'm going to see
- 49:29Speaker 2: the movie a few times. So what? Yeah. This is how,
- 49:32Speaker 2: this is how it's going to go. Okay. The, I'm
- 49:35Speaker 2: going to see it opening night, opening night. A hundred percent.
- 49:38Speaker 2: you do not rent the theater. Opening night, you don't
- 49:41Speaker 2: do that. Because the only people that are going on
- 49:43Speaker 2: opening night are going to be the diehard nerds. So
- 49:47Speaker 2: you want to get that genuine feel of eruption when
- 49:51Speaker 2: whatever happened is going to happen. It's the greatest freaking
- 49:55Speaker 2: movie experiences ever. Going to see Infinity War and Endgame
- 49:59Speaker 2: and freaking Spider-Man No Way Home. So the first night,
- 50:04Speaker 2: the follow-up night, whenever you For me, it'll be the
- 50:08Speaker 2: exact next night. The follow-up night, you rent the theater.
- 50:13Speaker 2: Depending on how I feel, it could be the same
- 50:16Speaker 2: first night. I could maybe go to an early showing
- 50:19Speaker 2: because the movie's going to come out the day before
- 50:21Speaker 2: it comes out. That night?
- 50:26Speaker 1: I think you do that night and then the next
- 50:28Speaker 1: morning because then it might be cheaper to rent it
- 50:30Speaker 1: during the day.
- 50:32Speaker 2: I'm going crazy. I think the third viewing should be
- 50:35Speaker 2: the rentals. Because if you see the earliest showing and
- 50:38Speaker 2: the movie's under three hours, you can see the latest
- 50:41Speaker 2: showing the same first night. So now you've seen it
- 50:45Speaker 2: twice in one night. Then the morning when it actually
- 50:50Speaker 2: comes out, then you go, hey, y'all, eat breakfast and
- 50:55Speaker 2: come on down to the movies. Okay, I'm showing it.
- 50:59Speaker 2: And then on my fifth viewing, that's when I start
- 51:01Speaker 2: to slow down because I'm going to get sleepy because
- 51:04Speaker 2: I haven't seen it so much at that point.
- 51:08Speaker 1: That's 15 hours. It's a three-hour movie.
- 51:11Speaker 2: Is it a three-hour movie confirmed? I thought it was
- 51:13Speaker 2: confirmed like two hours and 40-something minutes.
- 51:16Speaker 1: I'm around. I'm around every time. Because I need to
- 51:22Speaker 1: be there early. I got to be there. I'm going
- 51:24Speaker 1: to be there for previews. I want to be comfortable.
- 51:25Speaker 1: I'm going to be there three hours.
- 51:29Speaker 2: Oh, you know what it is? You were absolutely right,
- 51:33Speaker 2: but I was thinking... wrong because I said, isn't it
- 51:35Speaker 2: like two hours and 46 minutes? It's three hours and
- 51:39Speaker 2: 45 minutes. So I knew there was time on the
- 51:43Speaker 2: end because I made a whole video on my social
- 51:45Speaker 2: media about, hey, I don't care. You can make this
- 51:47Speaker 2: movie like 24 hours. I'm going to be locked in.
- 51:50Speaker 2: Don't worry about it. I'll be there. Yeah. Three hours
- 51:53Speaker 2: and 45 minutes. I can catch probably the six o'clock
- 51:57Speaker 2: viewing and then the 10 o'clock viewing. Because you're going
- 52:04Speaker 2: to need an hour to be like, oh, my God. Oh,
- 52:08Speaker 2: my God. Oh, my God. Okay. What just happened? Okay.
- 52:13Speaker 2: Then you have to shower because you would sweat so
- 52:15Speaker 2: much just on the hype. Damn. Carlos was like, okay.
- 52:21Speaker 3: Alright we gotta go no no no I was doing
- 52:24Speaker 3: it for clip effects because like if I do clip
- 52:26Speaker 3: it now like I don't want it just to be
- 52:28Speaker 3: side to side I want it to like go back
- 52:29Speaker 3: and forth for clips we were getting more into like
- 52:34Speaker 3: good conversation it was good yeah no it was good
- 52:36Speaker 3: because I'm on the board I'm hella on board with
- 52:39Speaker 3: the three hour.
- 52:40Speaker 2: So what's gonna happen if you are the die hard
- 52:42Speaker 2: fans you'll be able to tell because a die hard
- 52:44Speaker 2: Avengers fan Marvel fan all that stuff you're gonna sweat
- 52:47Speaker 2: in that theater I don't care if you show up
- 52:50Speaker 2: in your swimsuit. The anxiousness, the energy of the people
- 52:54Speaker 2: around you, your hands are going to hurt because half
- 52:57Speaker 2: the movie, you're going to be gripping the side. There
- 53:01Speaker 2: should be a little bit of popcorn, a little bit
- 53:02Speaker 2: of drink spilt on you. That's how you view an
- 53:06Speaker 2: Avengers movie. On the edge of your seat, someone's going
- 53:11Speaker 2: to yell out, oh my God! And everyone's going to
- 53:15Speaker 2: be locked in with them. I get it. And then
- 53:18Speaker 2: And then also, here's the thing. Here's the thing. My
- 53:21Speaker 2: one conspiracy theory about... And my one big one about
- 53:25Speaker 2: Avengers Doomsday. And I could be wrong. People have already said, nah,
- 53:28Speaker 2: I think you're wrong. I think they announced RDJ as
- 53:33Speaker 2: Doomsday as early as they did. Some people say it's
- 53:38Speaker 2: to make sure we get hype and ticket sales. I
- 53:40Speaker 2: think they did it early because they have a swerve coming. That's...
- 53:46Speaker 2: I think... Why would you put all the eggs out
- 53:48Speaker 2: like that? Because there's other eggs and there's more chickens.
- 53:55Speaker 1: You want to know what my, I believe I can
- 53:57Speaker 1: see that. You want to know what my theory is?
- 53:59Speaker 2: Okay.
- 54:00Speaker 1: My theory is that they showed us cap with the baby, um,
- 54:06Speaker 1: I don't necessarily, and I know Cap went back in
- 54:08Speaker 1: time and had his life with Peggy. I don't necessarily
- 54:12Speaker 1: think that Cap with the baby is our Cap. That
- 54:14Speaker 1: could be another multiverse Cap. We don't know. Because we
- 54:17Speaker 1: had Chris Evans come back in Batman and Wolverine and
- 54:21Speaker 1: be the Flash.
- 54:23Speaker 2: And we know there's multiverses.
- 54:24Speaker 1: We know we're bringing in different universes.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Hold on. Everybody stop.
- 54:27Speaker 1: Everybody.
- 54:29Speaker 2: I heard it too. Everybody stop talking. Wait. When did
- 54:34Speaker 2: Chris Evans come back? Deadpool and Wolverine? You know what
- 54:40Speaker 2: that means? You just didn't catch it. Do you know
- 54:42Speaker 2: what you said?
- 54:44Speaker 1: What did I say?
- 54:45Speaker 2: And you were locked in. I mean, you were giving
- 54:47Speaker 2: facts and you were like, yeah. And he came back
- 54:49Speaker 2: in Batman and Wolverine.
- 54:50Speaker 1: I went, Batman and Wolverine?
- 54:52Speaker 2: I'm getting old. I'm getting old. So everybody's talking like
- 54:56Speaker 2: this in that movie? Everybody's doing this?
- 54:58Speaker 1: Right. That whole movie attitude would be that whole movie.
- 55:04Speaker 4: Right.
- 55:05Speaker 1: They wouldn't get nothing done.
- 55:06Speaker 2: Shoot, let me tell you something. When Thor came back
- 55:10Speaker 2: in Power Rangers and X-Men, bro, Harry Potter and Powerpuff Girls, oh,
- 55:16Speaker 2: my God, when he came back, it was... I would
- 55:20Speaker 2: watch Harry Potter and Powerpuff Girls. But I do... Mark
- 55:25Speaker 2: of a nerd, by the way, once something is said wrong,
- 55:28Speaker 2: watching a nerd go, okay.
- 55:33Speaker 2: Literally, nerds can't, we can't hide it. We can't, it's like,
- 55:37Speaker 2: it's almost, it's like we can't let you finish what
- 55:40Speaker 2: you're saying because in our minds, there was an incorrect
- 55:43Speaker 2: equation to the problem. The minute you said Batman, you
- 55:47Speaker 2: could have said literally the lottery numbers that are guaranteed
- 55:52Speaker 2: to win. And I'll be like, she said Batman. You
- 55:57Speaker 2: could have won millions. She said Batman. Wouldn't have sat right.
- 56:00Speaker 1: I had to get it out I had to get
- 56:03Speaker 1: it out no fair.
- 56:06Speaker 2: But your theory about.
- 56:09Speaker 1: It might just be a multiverse of Chris but also
- 56:11Speaker 1: I gotta go pick up my baby soon so mom
- 56:17Speaker 1: life I.
- 56:20Speaker 2: Do want to finish this off I got too deep
- 56:24Speaker 2: in the marvel the way you're doing it right now
- 56:28Speaker 2: felt it was like Yeah, that's crazy. Finish up, Carlos.
- 56:36Speaker 2: I got a baby to get. Okay. I gotta go
- 56:39Speaker 2: get this baby. Don't turn the computer off or nothing.
- 56:43Speaker 1: Right.
- 56:45Speaker 2: I'm hosting this. I gotta go, though. I got too excited.
- 56:51Speaker 2: But I want to do the.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Tell them when you're coming to Plano so we can
- 56:55Speaker 1: do the last things.
- 56:57Speaker 2: I am going to Plano. March 24th. It's a Tuesday.
- 57:02Speaker 2: And I know what you're thinking. Why would we go
- 57:05Speaker 2: to a comedy show on Tuesday? Because it's me. And
- 57:10Speaker 2: we're going to have a nerdy great time. You want
- 57:12Speaker 2: a different comedy show? Where we're not talking about like, ooh,
- 57:17Speaker 2: politics or ooh, sex. I did the same sound for both.
- 57:21Speaker 2: It was supposed to be like, urgh, politics. But I
- 57:24Speaker 2: don't know what happened there. I just had a Batman
- 57:26Speaker 2: and Wolverine moment. It wasn't the best callback, but I
- 57:30Speaker 2: did it. It's going to be great. We're going to
- 57:33Speaker 2: have a nerdy great time. I've never been to Plano before.
- 57:39Speaker 2: Teach me your ways, Plano. I don't know. It started
- 57:44Speaker 2: off good, and then I derailed it. No, you nailed it.
- 57:49Speaker 2: I nailed it? Okay. We loved it. We loved it.
- 57:53Speaker 1: We love you. Thank you so much for coming.
- 57:55Speaker 2: To do the podcast and for... You know, just being you.
- 58:00Speaker 1: Just being you. It's just a great time.
- 58:02Speaker 2: Thanks. Send me everything, Carlos.
- 58:06Speaker 1: All right, Carlos, I got to scoot.
