- 0:58Speaker 2: be explicitly like lit RPG, but they're yeah yeah RPG.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Then you know a book that may have inspired it,
- 1:10Speaker 2: like The Wheel of Time, the Lord of the Rings. Yeah.

- 2:08Speaker 1: which will be the introduction to the videos video podcast again. So, well, hi, beautiful,
- 2:15Speaker 1: I'm gorgeous, I'm stunning. I'm a ginger beautiful. And he's
- 2:20Speaker 1: over there looking like I can't say thumb thumb because
- 2:26Speaker 1: that's my brother. May he rest in peace. He will
- 2:29Speaker 1: always be the thumb thumb. You, on the other hand, are.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Ye m h.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Handsome boy?
- 2:49Speaker 2: Hm? Yes? Yeah, uh.
- 2:53Speaker 1: You know what, I'll ask your boyfriend what he would
- 2:55Speaker 1: call you? You know what? You know? You're right, that's
- 3:01Speaker 1: a good boy over there, Ladies and gentlemen, that's a
- 3:02Speaker 1: good boy.
- 3:03Speaker 2: You.
- 3:04Speaker 1: It's good bye right there. His Warford tells him, so
- 3:06Speaker 1: every night does not that's a goddamn lie, you know it.
- 3:12Speaker 2: He does not.
- 3:13Speaker 1: He whispers good boy and then go to bed.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Yeah he knows better. No, no, no, he knows better.
- 3:21Speaker 1: He knows better. Okay, okay, anyway, so okay, tell the
- 3:28Speaker 1: story of the day I threw out my back. It
- 3:32Speaker 1: has something to do with me throwing out my back
- 3:33Speaker 1: because that was terrible. I am thirty three years old.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I feel old and ancient now because I threw out
- 3:38Speaker 1: my back. Because now I can literally say, oh, I
- 3:41Speaker 1: threw out my laura back. And you wouldn't think that
- 3:43Speaker 1: would happen to you in your thirties, But the realization
- 3:47Speaker 1: of you being in your thirties is when you throw
- 3:48Speaker 1: out your back doing something so doing something that should
- 3:51Speaker 1: be simple, and you realize your body is like hmm.
- 3:56Speaker 2: In this case, he was putting together a TV stad.
- 3:58Speaker 1: I sure was, I sure was, and it was av
- 4:03Speaker 1: I'm not Bob the building.
- 4:05Speaker 2: I'll be honest. I recently like strained my back, not
- 4:08Speaker 2: because I was putting something together, but because I was
- 4:11Speaker 2: in my I was sorting through my closet and moving
- 4:14Speaker 2: stuff arounds, and I was leaned over, and I guess
- 4:16Speaker 2: I didn't have a good posture because I wasn't maintaining
- 4:20Speaker 2: good posture because the next day my lower back was sore,
- 4:24Speaker 2: and I'm like, what the fuck. I wasn't even lifting
- 4:26Speaker 2: anything in my closet. I was literally like throwing my
- 4:29Speaker 2: clothes in my uh. In my closet, I was hanging
- 4:32Speaker 2: shit up. I was putting stuff in my hamper, and
- 4:35Speaker 2: I guess I was like, like, I was just leaning
- 4:38Speaker 2: over a bit, and then the next day my back,
- 4:41Speaker 2: my lower back was sore, and I was like, what
- 4:42Speaker 2: the fuck. Yeah, so posture, psture, posture, good posture, posture,
- 4:48Speaker 2: posture in saval life, especially if you're in your thirties.
- 4:51Speaker 2: And for the record, I've actually thrown out my back
- 4:53Speaker 2: in my twenties. But that's because I'm tall. When you're tall,
- 4:57Speaker 2: you're you have back problems.
- 4:59Speaker 1: That's that's bit, that's bits energy, bitch energy. I'm short,
- 5:04Speaker 1: so I'm a king.
- 5:06Speaker 2: No.
- 5:06Speaker 1: I thought it was because my I thought it was
- 5:08Speaker 1: because of my weight, because I am a big guy
- 5:10Speaker 1: and I am currently on a trying to get myself
- 5:15Speaker 1: to do a weight loss journey, be more active and
- 5:18Speaker 1: ship because being overweight, being overweight, that that will do
- 5:23Speaker 1: that to you. But yeah, no, I was perfectly fine
- 5:28Speaker 1: building that TV stand, even though the TV stand was
- 5:30Speaker 1: hot garbage ladies and gentlemen. I am not bobed to
- 5:34Speaker 1: build your type of gay My mom my mother's like,
- 5:36Speaker 1: you're my only son, last, you're my last son left.
- 5:38Speaker 1: You could build a TV stan for me, right, I'm
- 5:40Speaker 1: like sure, I'm like, ma, I'm not Bob the fucking builder.
- 5:45Speaker 1: I'm not that gay. I'm not. I don't know. Do
- 5:51Speaker 1: I look Okay, maybe maybe I do look like I
- 5:54Speaker 1: built shit, but like I don't build ship, put me up,
- 5:57Speaker 1: put me in like a flannel. I might look like
- 5:59Speaker 1: A built it, but I don't build shit. I don't
- 6:02Speaker 1: have the coordination for that or the patience. So it
- 6:06Speaker 1: was terrible. And no, but that's not that's not the
- 6:10Speaker 1: I throw my back that day. But like no, I
- 6:13Speaker 1: was minded my own business in my mother's apartment where
- 6:16Speaker 1: her two lovely dogs, while trying to build this thing
- 6:18Speaker 1: watching Euphoria, you know, because I'm gay, by the way,
- 6:24Speaker 1: Euphoria season three account Wait, I look on my mom's
- 6:31Speaker 1: little stand, little I call it a little shelf in
- 6:37Speaker 1: her living room. My mom reads, She reads a lot.
- 6:40Speaker 1: She reads a lot of fantasy novels. She reads a
- 6:42Speaker 1: lot of similar stuff to me. And I forgot that
- 6:46Speaker 1: my mother likes to read some stuff that's very smutty, smutty,
- 6:53Speaker 1: and normally she hasn't read a lot. She hasn't read
- 6:56Speaker 1: a lot of stuff I read. So it's like, okay, cool,
- 6:58Speaker 1: you do your own thing, girl. I found a book
- 7:00Speaker 1: on her bookshelf. That is one that I have talked
- 7:02Speaker 1: about on this podcast. I like and I see that,
- 7:05Speaker 1: and I'm like, oh, no, I don't know how I
- 7:08Speaker 1: feel about this. My mother reading the Fourth Wing? Mama,
- 7:13Speaker 1: my mother, what is this?
- 7:14Speaker 2: What is this?
- 7:15Speaker 1: On God's Green Earth? She's like the Fourth Wing. I'm like,
- 7:17Speaker 1: I'm reading it. I heard it's Bill Good and I'm like, Ma,
- 7:21Speaker 1: that's Mutt. And she's like, I like Smutt and I'm
- 7:25Speaker 1: like mother, and I'm like, I know where I get
- 7:29Speaker 1: it from now, Ma, mother. It's so it's not the
- 7:34Speaker 1: fact that she's reading it. It's the fact that I've
- 7:35Speaker 1: read it too, and I know what the book's about
- 7:38Speaker 1: and what's in the book. And I'm just like, oh
- 7:40Speaker 1: my god, it's so weird. Had your mother read a
- 7:46Speaker 1: book that you've read that has smutted it? And this
- 7:49Speaker 1: is the same book that huh.
- 7:53Speaker 2: They say that King sur Genetic.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I hate you. I hate you. I hate you so much.
- 7:59Speaker 1: I know. No, I don't even want to know. We're
- 8:03Speaker 1: not even gonna get into that. No, I'm scared, terrified. No. Uh.
- 8:10Speaker 1: That is also that's the same book that has the
- 8:11Speaker 1: scene where the two many characters are having sex and
- 8:14Speaker 1: when she Climbax's Lightning strikes that's the same book. And
- 8:20Speaker 1: I'm just like, oh no, this is so weird. She's like,
- 8:24Speaker 1: have you read it? And I'm like, how have I
- 8:27Speaker 1: read it?
- 8:29Speaker 2: Yes, I have read it.
- 8:32Speaker 1: And she's like, did you actually read it or did
- 8:34Speaker 1: you listen to the audio book? And I'm like, does
- 8:35Speaker 1: it matter. It's the same fucking thing. Whatever. I'm not
- 8:38Speaker 1: going to get into the whole debate of audiobook versus reading.
- 8:44Speaker 1: You're still reading, fight me, but yeah, I'm like, yeah,
- 8:48Speaker 1: I've read it. I've read I've read two o the
- 8:51Speaker 1: three books. Mom. She's like, oh, are they good? And
- 8:55Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, yeah, they're good. M h mhm. It's
- 9:03Speaker 1: so weird. It's so weird. It's like it's Jacob, it's
- 9:06Speaker 1: like your it's like your If you went home to
- 9:08Speaker 1: your mom's house and you saw her reading one of
- 9:09Speaker 1: your military smart books, I would I would.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Be horrified, but not surprised, because my mother does. My
- 9:19Speaker 2: mother does have a type like not to read my mother,
- 9:22Speaker 2: but because like she's a very she's a very nice
- 9:25Speaker 2: and she's a very sweet woman. I love my mom.
- 9:29Speaker 2: But the thing is, my mom is religious and so like, yeah,
- 9:33Speaker 2: we everyone has their quirks, and uh thing is she
- 9:36Speaker 2: has a thing for for uniforms.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Like somebody else in this podcast.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Mm hmmm, well, well, if I have a thing for uniforms,
- 9:49Speaker 2: I hate to I hate to learn who you get
- 9:51Speaker 2: your technical thing from.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I don't have a terrible thing. That's ongoing joke, but
- 9:58Speaker 1: literally don't. M Oh my god, futures never got this
- 10:05Speaker 1: part out. I do not have a kink about with tentacles.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I literally don't. I literally don't. It's an ongoing joke,
- 10:12Speaker 1: but I don't. Now I'm scared to find out who
- 10:15Speaker 1: which one of my parents does have my kink?
- 10:17Speaker 2: Though. That was so my mother does have a thing
- 10:22Speaker 2: for uniforms because and I know this not just because
- 10:25Speaker 2: she married my dad, who was who was in the military. No,
- 10:30Speaker 2: before she met my dad, after her first marriage, she
- 10:34Speaker 2: dated a marine, a Navy seal, a cop, a fireman,
- 10:38Speaker 2: and I think another I think there was either it
- 10:41Speaker 2: was either two Navy seals or two soldiers, but it
- 10:46Speaker 2: was like five, like five or six dudes she dated
- 10:48Speaker 2: and they were all servicemen. And before she met my dad,
- 10:52Speaker 2: she dated the Navy seal and she was like, oh,
- 10:55Speaker 2: that guy. He was so nice and I could tell
- 10:57Speaker 2: she wanted to like talk about how fine the dude was,
- 11:00Speaker 2: but like as her son, she wasn't comfortable saying stuff
- 11:03Speaker 2: like that, like oh my god, me haul he was
- 11:05Speaker 2: falling Like no, no, it was just like I dated him,
- 11:12Speaker 2: but then he got sent back to uh, like he
- 11:14Speaker 2: got deployed or like reassigned or wherever. And because San
- 11:20Speaker 2: Antonio was just a stop it was just a stop by. Yeah,
- 11:23Speaker 2: was a temporary posting for him. And I think like
- 11:26Speaker 2: Navy seals are typically uh, they're typically stationed and like
- 11:31Speaker 2: one of two coastal bases, like when are on the
- 11:35Speaker 2: East coast or the West coast. I don't know, don't
- 11:37Speaker 2: don't quote me on that. I'm not I'm not very
- 11:39Speaker 2: familiar with where Navy seals are typically stationed in the world.
- 11:43Speaker 2: But either way, he got uh, he got his posting
- 11:48Speaker 2: and left, and then not long after that she meant,
- 11:50Speaker 2: my dondet and then done down here I am. But
- 11:54Speaker 2: still like when she told me that, I was like,
- 11:56Speaker 2: my god, mom, what was that. You're so loute to
- 11:59Speaker 2: our men, our men in the services, Like what the fuck?
- 12:03Speaker 2: She's like, Okay, well, I guess you definitely have a type.
- 12:07Speaker 2: It's good to know.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 12:10Speaker 2: And I mentioned how I like how I how I
- 12:12Speaker 2: like military guys too, and she's like, why do you
- 12:15Speaker 2: like military guys?
- 12:16Speaker 1: Like why from the tree because of you?
- 12:23Speaker 4: And she's like what, No, Like oh really, the oh really,
- 12:28Speaker 4: the marine, the Navy seal, the fireman, the cop and
- 12:32Speaker 4: the other and the other soldier you.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Dated before you met Dad would say otherwise, She's like
- 12:39Speaker 2: she got real quiet after.
- 12:40Speaker 1: That, the gasp.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Like gas.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Mm hmmm.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Yeah, so excuse me for I don't mean to read
- 12:50Speaker 2: my mother but.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Apple Tree mm hm hm.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Way enough about our share trauma.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that was traumatizing for me to see fourth
- 13:06Speaker 1: Wing sitting there and I'm like, uh, I know, Dan, Well,
- 13:08Speaker 1: she's not reading this book because this is gonna be
- 13:10Speaker 1: weird because then she don't because then she don't want
- 13:13Speaker 1: to talk about it, and I don't want to talk
- 13:15Speaker 1: about with her. And I'm not gonna talk about with her.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm not, I really not. I can hear
- 13:20Speaker 1: about all already. Oh my god, I finished the book.
- 13:22Speaker 1: It's so good. You want to talk No, not with you,
- 13:27Speaker 1: Not with you, it's so weird. No, no, good. They
- 13:31Speaker 1: you got to borrow the second one. I'll lend you
- 13:33Speaker 1: my second I'll lend you the second one. You can
- 13:37Speaker 1: read the books all you want mine. But I don't
- 13:39Speaker 1: want to talk about it.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Now.
- 13:42Speaker 1: When we talk about the TV show. The TV show
- 13:44Speaker 1: comes out, it's one thing because they're making a Amazon's
- 13:48Speaker 1: make a TV show for it, which I hope it's good.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Hope they don't cancel it, making a.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Bunch of other TV shows, but those have been in
- 13:56Speaker 2: development for years.
- 13:57Speaker 1: So yeah, I hope they don't cancel the Will of Time,
- 14:00Speaker 1: which I'll never forgive, but you know.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not gonna forgive that they can't. Yeah, Like
- 14:06Speaker 2: the third season was literally their best season. That would
- 14:09Speaker 2: have saved That saved the franchise, al right, literally both
- 14:15Speaker 2: like in the rot in Rotten Tomato on Rotten Tomatoes.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Both the critics score and the audience score was in
- 14:21Speaker 2: the ninety percentile. Yeah, all right, upper like the ninetieth percentile.
- 14:25Speaker 2: All right, that alone should said this is worth continuing.
- 14:29Speaker 2: They did something right. Okay, Season one it was garbage,
- 14:34Speaker 2: was the weakest. Season two was a lot better. Season
- 14:37Speaker 2: three was Chef's Kiss. Okay, they fixed a lot of
- 14:41Speaker 2: shit that happened in like a lot of continuity shit.
- 14:44Speaker 2: They've they've actually made things more faithful to the to
- 14:49Speaker 2: the books and material, and they also actually finally mentioned
- 14:53Speaker 2: the different They actually acknowledged the differences between the male
- 14:56Speaker 2: and female half of the source, which is which is
- 14:59Speaker 2: a big part of Wheel of Time. And then they
- 15:02Speaker 2: were just like, we're gonna cancel it.
- 15:09Speaker 1: I could hear you screaming from the window when I
- 15:12Speaker 1: was closing the blinds. Yeah, because I was getting too
- 15:15Speaker 1: much light in here. I am livid, livid, livid, livid.
- 15:23Speaker 2: The Wheel of Time deserves so much better. I hope
- 15:25Speaker 2: like another, like another studio picks it up instead. Yeah,
- 15:31Speaker 2: something like I'll settle for Netflix. Maybe not Netflix because
- 15:37Speaker 2: they probably will just cancel it or shelve it.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Yeah, but yeah they I don't know. I don't know
- 15:43Speaker 1: who get it.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Maybe maybe HBO because HBO has pretty either HBO or Paramount.
- 15:51Speaker 1: So speaking of HBO, HBO might be Have you not
- 15:57Speaker 1: heard that Warner Brothers is getting bought out by Netflix?
- 16:01Speaker 2: Yeah? I heard about that.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Yeah, Yes, HBO will have haired of Netflix.
- 16:08Speaker 2: And like great later on shows that will be canceled
- 16:11Speaker 2: after for one season. We already lost boots. We're probably
- 16:16Speaker 2: if they buy if they buy it out before HBO
- 16:18Speaker 2: finishes heated Rivalry, then we're probably not gonna get another season.
- 16:20Speaker 2: If he did Rivalry, I still haven't watched it, have
- 16:24Speaker 2: you hed, Yes, yes, I watched it.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Of course you're filthy. He then was it good?
- 16:33Speaker 2: It was good? Like, my favorite episode wasn't even about
- 16:37Speaker 2: the It wasn't even about the main characters. It was
- 16:40Speaker 2: about another like side character that was also gay and
- 16:44Speaker 2: like he had like he was in a closet and relationship.
- 16:47Speaker 2: But they're like that little side story was so cute
- 16:51Speaker 2: that I just loved it. And then like at the
- 16:54Speaker 2: end of their little side story, that hockey player came
- 16:57Speaker 2: out like publicly like me, and he like uh called
- 17:02Speaker 2: his his boo down onto the ice ring and they
- 17:05Speaker 2: made out like like right then and there, and I
- 17:10Speaker 2: was like, oh, yes, yes, I love those two. They
- 17:15Speaker 2: were so cute.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Not the making out on the playing field, No wonder.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Hockey has been getting popular with the ladies because they
- 17:25Speaker 1: went all the They went all the hockey players to
- 17:27Speaker 1: make out with each other, which is weird.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Don't do that.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Don't do that. Don't do that. Straight women we're not
- 17:36Speaker 1: your little gay fantasy here, we're men with hearts. Anyways,
- 17:44Speaker 1: speaking of gay, no, that's not really it's not really gay.
- 17:49Speaker 1: The story is not really gay.
- 17:52Speaker 2: No, this story is pretty hetero, but it's I'd say
- 17:55Speaker 2: it falls in the category of queer because it's not
- 17:58Speaker 2: really like what you would consider heterone normative.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Yeah. So the book we're gonna be talking about today
- 18:05Speaker 1: consists of Imagine if you will, power uff Girls a
- 18:08Speaker 1: chemical X style with the thing, Yeah, the horror. It's
- 18:19Speaker 1: like the Thing mixed with Shape of Water.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 18:23Speaker 1: And you're maybe thinking.
- 18:24Speaker 2: You're saying the wah beats the shape of Water.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Yeah, you maybe think yourself, what the fuck is that? Yeah,
- 18:30Speaker 1: I know, but buckle up, but buckle up.
- 18:34Speaker 2: So I like, don't worry. It's not smut, not really.
- 18:40Speaker 2: There's a bit of a it's a bit of like
- 18:41Speaker 2: a there's some romantic romantic aspects of it. But like
- 18:45Speaker 2: if you've seen Germal Delatoro's The Shape of Water, you'll
- 18:48Speaker 2: kind of understand that. It's like it's in that similar
- 18:51Speaker 2: ballpark because it deals with a regular old lady who
- 18:57Speaker 2: falls in love with a sea creature. Uh So, so
- 19:03Speaker 2: just to just give you the whole rundown of the story.
- 19:07Speaker 2: The Horror is about a elderly woman named Muriel McAlley.
- 19:12Speaker 2: She's I think the takes place What in Ireland? Are Oh?
- 19:14Speaker 2: It's takes place in Scotland, Scotland, y yep. It takes
- 19:18Speaker 2: place in a scott in a dying Scottish village called
- 19:21Speaker 2: which Aven and which even is Like in Muriel's youth
- 19:27Speaker 2: was a thriving fishing, fishing village. But now in her
- 19:31Speaker 2: she's a ripe old age of eighty four years old,
- 19:35Speaker 2: and the village itself is starting to disappear. It's the
- 19:39Speaker 2: lens is being bought out by an by a rich
- 19:42Speaker 2: American billionaire named Patrick Grant, and they're slowly he's slowly
- 19:46Speaker 2: pushing everyone out of the village. He's buying up everyone's properties,
- 19:50Speaker 2: all just so he could build a luxury resort and
- 19:53Speaker 2: golf course.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Which in Scotland, why of all places.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Except I don't know he's rich. It's like likes likes
- 20:03Speaker 2: the area. Like honestly, I just don't get the appeal
- 20:06Speaker 2: of golf, like they just don't, all right, It just
- 20:10Speaker 2: seems like a huge waste of space to me, Like
- 20:13Speaker 2: mini golf is fun, but like a full on golf course,
- 20:17Speaker 2: and then there are better things that you could be
- 20:20Speaker 2: doing with all that space, right, But now he wanted
- 20:25Speaker 2: to like completely buy out the entire town. And Maryel
- 20:29Speaker 2: along with several of her neighbor her other more elderly
- 20:33Speaker 2: neighbors are are like among the last few that are
- 20:37Speaker 2: that are holding out against the buy out of their village.
- 20:41Speaker 2: And no, it's not going well for them. Like with
- 20:45Speaker 2: the last few people that are still around. Patrick Graham
- 20:48Speaker 2: is actually resorting, is beginning to resort to like shady
- 20:52Speaker 2: like it's at this point it's becoming eminent domain.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll take over.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Yep, because you know, she like Muriel. Muriel is like
- 21:03Speaker 2: her home is more is somewhat of a homestead, so
- 21:06Speaker 2: she relies on her own like she has her own garden,
- 21:09Speaker 2: she has like chickens, and she like the grocery store
- 21:12Speaker 2: is gone, and she had to become more self sufficient
- 21:15Speaker 2: because Patrick bought out pretty much all of like the
- 21:19Speaker 2: commercial stores, like groceries, supply shops, everything, it's all gone.
- 21:24Speaker 2: It's just a few properties that are left over that
- 21:27Speaker 2: he's slowly encroaching on and trying to like get them
- 21:29Speaker 2: to sell and she's not having it. She's eighty four
- 21:36Speaker 2: years old. She doesn't want to move, she doesn't This
- 21:38Speaker 2: was her home, this is where she married, she married
- 21:41Speaker 2: her husband, you know this, it's her whole life and
- 21:44Speaker 2: it's not something she wants to give up. So towards
- 21:48Speaker 2: the end, it came down to just her and like
- 21:50Speaker 2: one and one other neighbor. Unfortunately, her neighbor gets brutally
- 21:55Speaker 2: murdered by He gets brutally murdered by some thuff that
- 22:00Speaker 2: were hired by Patrick Grant to burn his house down.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Like they they dead ass try break into his house
- 22:07Speaker 2: to burn the place down. Poor guy like se catches
- 22:11Speaker 2: them and tries to defend himself, but they end up
- 22:13Speaker 2: beating him to death and they set his ass on fire.
- 22:16Speaker 2: And it's really it's honestly, it's heartbreaking reading this because,
- 22:21Speaker 2: like you know, some of these developers, some of these
- 22:24Speaker 2: really rich people, they just don't give a shit about
- 22:26Speaker 2: the people. And they don't, all right, Like they really don't.
- 22:30Speaker 2: All they see is money. All they see is what
- 22:32Speaker 2: they want, and they're willing to throw like any amount
- 22:35Speaker 2: just to get what they want, all right. So it
- 22:37Speaker 2: really highlights like corporate greed. And it's also like it's
- 22:41Speaker 2: somewhat environmental too, because like he's destroying like their heritage.
- 22:47Speaker 2: He's taking away their lands and turning it into some
- 22:50Speaker 2: like a golf course. Like he didn't try to, like
- 22:54Speaker 2: I mean, if he wanted to build a resort and
- 22:56Speaker 2: then like expand the town to make it like to
- 22:58Speaker 2: gentrify it or to like bring it back up, bring
- 23:01Speaker 2: it into the future, I understand that, right, Like, Okay, well,
- 23:04Speaker 2: in the way he's bringing, he's bringing, he's building jobs
- 23:09Speaker 2: and revitalizing a town. But no, instead he's wiping off
- 23:12Speaker 2: the map just to build his own personal resort. And like,
- 23:17Speaker 2: I don't like that. Guy thought this dude thought Patrick Grant.
- 23:21Speaker 2: But Muriel herself is also is slowly is her her
- 23:28Speaker 2: home is slowly being is slowly being taken over. At
- 23:32Speaker 2: one point, her neighbor had to help her chase off
- 23:37Speaker 2: some of the developers because they decided, oh wait, they
- 23:41Speaker 2: found like a loophole or something, or they missed or
- 23:43Speaker 2: like they it was some shady thing that they found,
- 23:46Speaker 2: like oh well, it turns out your chicken coop is
- 23:48Speaker 2: actually on land that Patrick Grant now owns. It's not
- 23:51Speaker 2: actually your land. So they tried to bulldoze that part
- 23:54Speaker 2: of her land over, but her neighbor came over and
- 23:57Speaker 2: he had a shotgun and he ends up chasing them off.
- 23:59Speaker 2: And it was after this event that hert that she
- 24:05Speaker 2: that her neighbor gets killed, that they burn his house down,
- 24:07Speaker 2: they set him on fire, and like they beat him,
- 24:09Speaker 2: they brutally beat him, and then they set his ass
- 24:11Speaker 2: on fire and he dies around this time. The one
- 24:15Speaker 2: thing you'll notice is that like it has a very
- 24:17Speaker 2: like atmosphere. It's very atmospheric because because there's a phenomenon
- 24:23Speaker 2: like a fa it's there's a phenomenon that happens in
- 24:26Speaker 2: this town very often. It's this really dense wall of
- 24:29Speaker 2: fog that sweeps in from the ocean. And they actually
- 24:32Speaker 2: call it the horror. So that's what the horror stands for.
- 24:36Speaker 2: I thought it was like some weird name for the
- 24:37Speaker 2: actual uh seat, the actual creature itself that we that
- 24:42Speaker 2: gets introduced here shortly. No, it's actually like an actual phenomenon,
- 24:48Speaker 2: like they just call it the her so like, and
- 24:51Speaker 2: this happens like like either daily or every other day,
- 24:54Speaker 2: Like this dense wall of fog just sweeps in all right,
- 24:57Speaker 2: obscures everything and mirror, you know, while still like maintaining
- 25:03Speaker 2: her independence, her and being self sufficient. She would regularly
- 25:07Speaker 2: take walks down the beach and reminisce about you know,
- 25:10Speaker 2: the old days fish how the town was bustling and
- 25:13Speaker 2: fish and it was prospering, and how her husband, who
- 25:17Speaker 2: was a fisherman a long time ago, he eventually disappeared,
- 25:22Speaker 2: like he went out on his boat and never came back.
- 25:26Speaker 2: So I think for that her husband had been gone
- 25:28Speaker 2: for like up to fifteen, like fifteen years by this point,
- 25:32Speaker 2: and you know, she's very low, she's very lonely. She's
- 25:36Speaker 2: sad because she wants to hold on to, you know,
- 25:38Speaker 2: her memory. She wants to hold on to her home.
- 25:41Speaker 2: And while she's walking along the beach and along her
- 25:45Speaker 2: beach and exploring like old like old caves that her
- 25:49Speaker 2: husband actually had proposed her in, she comes across this
- 25:54Speaker 2: strange creature. And I do want to point out before
- 26:01Speaker 2: she comes across this creature, while she's visiting the caves
- 26:04Speaker 2: that she and her husband used to visit and where
- 26:06Speaker 2: her husband actually proposed to her like many eons ago. Uh,
- 26:12Speaker 2: I mean, she's an old lady. Yeah, she know, old lady.
- 26:18Speaker 2: She actually runs across Patrick Grant's son, and his son
- 26:23Speaker 2: is as much of is just as much of a
- 26:25Speaker 2: piece of shit as he is. Like, the dude was
- 26:29Speaker 2: like was having sex in the in one of the caves,
- 26:33Speaker 2: and like he runs out with the girl he's having
- 26:35Speaker 2: sex with, and they were both coked out of their
- 26:37Speaker 2: minds and they end up like pushing Muriel down, and
- 26:41Speaker 2: like he ends up like kicking her a few times
- 26:43Speaker 2: before running off, And I'm like, oh, I hope this
- 26:46Speaker 2: dude dies. I'm just like, I hope this guy dies.
- 26:49Speaker 2: She manages to like make her way home, but like
- 26:52Speaker 2: get up and like get home, but bef, while she's
- 26:55Speaker 2: heading home, she comes across this creature. Now the they
- 27:00Speaker 2: don't really go into like much detail of what the
- 27:03Speaker 2: creature looks like in its true form. It kind of
- 27:05Speaker 2: looks like a weird like jelly like mass, kind of
- 27:10Speaker 2: like an octopus, but without the tentacles. It's it was
- 27:14Speaker 2: flat like some sort of like you know, like you
- 27:16Speaker 2: see videos of like deep sea creatures. It's and they
- 27:20Speaker 2: look kind of like very shapeless and in alien like. Well,
- 27:24Speaker 2: this creature was like cyclopean. It it was very like
- 27:29Speaker 2: formless kind of like this blob or jelly like mass,
- 27:33Speaker 2: and she could see it had like one big, like
- 27:35Speaker 2: pale eye, like it was like just a big old eye,
- 27:38Speaker 2: but with like one little dot in the center, so
- 27:40Speaker 2: it didn't have like a like an actual iris or anything.
- 27:43Speaker 2: And she's kind of scared. She was a bit terrified
- 27:47Speaker 2: of it, but at the same time, she was like, well,
- 27:51Speaker 2: it looks like it's it's injured, because she could see
- 27:54Speaker 2: part of it was impaled on a rock. So she
- 27:58Speaker 2: she goes and grabs a She goes and grabs like
- 28:03Speaker 2: a what she grabbed exactly.
- 28:08Speaker 1: I'm trying to remember. It's been a while since I've
- 28:10Speaker 1: read it.
- 28:11Speaker 2: It did not, you know, honestly, it doesn't matter. She well,
- 28:14Speaker 2: realizing that this creature is hurt, she picks it up
- 28:18Speaker 2: and carries it home and puts it in her bathtub.
- 28:21Speaker 2: And she puts it in and she fills up the
- 28:24Speaker 2: bathtub of water and she nurses it back to health.
- 28:27Speaker 2: And she realizes that somehow this creature like feeds off blood,
- 28:32Speaker 2: and also it talks to her, like she can hear
- 28:37Speaker 2: it's she can hear it speaking, and whenever she hears
- 28:39Speaker 2: it speak, it's somewhat like it's jarring for her because
- 28:45Speaker 2: when it speaks, she hears her husband's voice, so some
- 28:49Speaker 2: part of hers like latched on. So this some part
- 28:52Speaker 2: of her latched on to this creature because the creature
- 28:56Speaker 2: is somehow mimicking her husband's voice. And mindine, her husband
- 29:01Speaker 2: has been gone for fifteen years. No one knows what
- 29:03Speaker 2: happened to him, and she slowly like she tries to
- 29:08Speaker 2: get it to talk to her and keep talking, like
- 29:12Speaker 2: talking in her husband's voice, but it most of the
- 29:14Speaker 2: time it doesn't, and she she spends a lot of
- 29:20Speaker 2: time trying to like nurse it back to health, and
- 29:23Speaker 2: she gives it some of her blood, like when she
- 29:25Speaker 2: realized that, like because she had like a cut and
- 29:27Speaker 2: it had sucked on some of her blood, and it
- 29:30Speaker 2: like when it did that, it also healed her, and
- 29:32Speaker 2: it also like revitalized her. So she like, even though
- 29:36Speaker 2: she's old, she's dealing with like joint pain and arthritis.
- 29:40Speaker 2: The hers like the creature itself somehow like soothes her
- 29:43Speaker 2: body and it makes it easier for her to move around.
- 29:46Speaker 2: Then she notices that she's more spry. She's like it's
- 29:49Speaker 2: almost like like the years of like joint pain and
- 29:53Speaker 2: arthritis are just gone.
- 29:55Speaker 1: It's like a weird take on like a symbiotic relationship. Cool,
- 29:58Speaker 1: you get me blood, rejuvenate your body so you can
- 30:01Speaker 1: give me more blood later.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Now, I will say this is a bit of the
- 30:05Speaker 2: this this does warn a bit of a trigger warning,
- 30:07Speaker 2: because she does like in many points she she becomes
- 30:10Speaker 2: obsessive with trying to like keep it uh like like
- 30:15Speaker 2: keep it fed enough to where I can keep talking
- 30:17Speaker 2: to her the way that like in her husband's voice.
- 30:21Speaker 2: So she was straight up like actually cut herself to
- 30:23Speaker 2: give it more blood. Now it is healing her and
- 30:25Speaker 2: it's hurt, and it's like not like you know, sucking
- 30:28Speaker 2: her dry, but still the like she's hurting herself more
- 30:32Speaker 2: just so she can feel closer to her to her
- 30:35Speaker 2: missing husband. Yeah, And eventually, like of course, she has
- 30:40Speaker 2: that confrontation with those developers and then Patrick Grant hires
- 30:45Speaker 2: those thugs to burn down her neighbor's house. The thing is, though,
- 30:48Speaker 2: when he when they attacked him and beat him and
- 30:51Speaker 2: set him on fire, he still had enough of his
- 30:53Speaker 2: wits about him to attack one of the thugs and
- 30:56Speaker 2: he actually he had a knife and he ends up
- 30:57Speaker 2: stabbing the guy while he's on fire, Like right after
- 31:00Speaker 2: they set his ass on fire, he grabs one of
- 31:02Speaker 2: them and stabs them. The others run off, and the
- 31:05Speaker 2: one that got stabed, like he couldn't like get far,
- 31:09Speaker 2: so he went to the closest place to hide, and
- 31:11Speaker 2: that was Miriam's house. Miriam, excuse Muriel's house. Muriel like
- 31:15Speaker 2: she saw the fire and went to go like and
- 31:19Speaker 2: went to investigate what was going on, and she saw
- 31:22Speaker 2: that the fire was like in full swing. She was
- 31:25Speaker 2: horrified and already put the The fire department was on
- 31:30Speaker 2: its way, so she runs back to her house to
- 31:33Speaker 2: see if she could call for more help. But when
- 31:35Speaker 2: she gets back to the house, she notices that there's
- 31:38Speaker 2: blood on the outside of her house, Like she knows
- 31:40Speaker 2: there's like a blood splatter on the wall, and she
- 31:43Speaker 2: realizes there's someone might actually be in my house. But
- 31:46Speaker 2: when she walks into the house, she finds that her
- 31:49Speaker 2: living room was turned into a butcher shop. So what
- 31:53Speaker 2: it happened was is the thug hid in Muriel's house
- 31:56Speaker 2: And this was like right after she left the house
- 31:58Speaker 2: to go try to help her neighbor her friend, and
- 32:03Speaker 2: the thug that that her neighbor had stabbed ran into
- 32:07Speaker 2: her house to hide, and because she was bleeding all
- 32:10Speaker 2: over the place, the scense of the blood attracted the creature.
- 32:13Speaker 2: It clawed, it crawled out of the tub, and it
- 32:16Speaker 2: attacked him. And let me tell you, it was brutal,
- 32:19Speaker 2: all right. It was like, like this creature is able,
- 32:26Speaker 2: is a shape shifter. So like the thing, it can
- 32:28Speaker 2: shape shift, and it can it's can morph its body
- 32:32Speaker 2: into different shapes. So when it attacked him, it took
- 32:35Speaker 2: on this week. It took on this sort of humanoid
- 32:38Speaker 2: shape and it like had shot out these tentacles that
- 32:43Speaker 2: like as soon as it touched his skin, it immediately
- 32:45Speaker 2: like burnt and melted through the guy's body. So it
- 32:48Speaker 2: immediately like attacks him and and like consumes the guy.
- 32:52Speaker 2: But it's a very messy process and left blood and
- 32:56Speaker 2: gore all over the place.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Love to make a movie out of this book. This
- 33:02Speaker 1: is one of those books that that's on my list
- 33:05Speaker 1: of I would love to make a movie out of this.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I gotta say it was vile. The scene itself
- 33:12Speaker 2: was just like ugh, I'm like, yeah, it's gross. It's gross.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Muriel comes back in her house sees the blood bath,
- 33:18Speaker 2: but she also sees someone else sitting in her one
- 33:20Speaker 2: of her chairs and this chair was her husband's favorite chair,
- 33:24Speaker 2: and the figure stands up and she sees that it's
- 33:27Speaker 2: her husband. So the creature like after feeding it became
- 33:34Speaker 2: strong enough to shape shift into the shape into her husband,
- 33:38Speaker 2: and the thing is like she's able to spend some
- 33:42Speaker 2: time with it. She dresses it because it's completely nude,
- 33:45Speaker 2: and she feels like she's still like put off by
- 33:50Speaker 2: the fact that this thing just killed a guy in
- 33:51Speaker 2: her house, and but she's more like like it's my husband,
- 33:57Speaker 2: like how are you doing this? And the creature is
- 33:59Speaker 2: very like transparent with her. It tells her like like
- 34:03Speaker 2: it somehow like formed a connection with her. It wants
- 34:06Speaker 2: to protect her, wants to help her, and it feels
- 34:10Speaker 2: like part of doing that is by shape shifting into
- 34:14Speaker 2: this into the form of her husband, and it uses
- 34:16Speaker 2: her memories to like shape itself into her husband. Thing is,
- 34:21Speaker 2: it's not able to hold that shape for very long,
- 34:23Speaker 2: and after like a couple hours or so, it begins
- 34:27Speaker 2: its form begins to disintegrate and it transforms back into
- 34:30Speaker 2: its like blobby mass, and she has to take it
- 34:33Speaker 2: back into She has to quickly like put it back
- 34:36Speaker 2: in the tub. And after after this, like she names
- 34:42Speaker 2: the creature Avalon, but she starts going back and forth
- 34:46Speaker 2: between calling it Avalon and calling it Billy because it
- 34:49Speaker 2: keeps taking the form of her husband, and she keeps
- 34:52Speaker 2: getting harassed by more harassed by the developers. They keep
- 34:57Speaker 2: sending this lady to try to reason with her, to
- 35:00Speaker 2: try to sell to her, but she keeps chasing them
- 35:02Speaker 2: off because she does not She just absolutely refuses to
- 35:05Speaker 2: sell her property. So Patrick Grant decides, Okay, well he's
- 35:10Speaker 2: gonna do something more shady, and this time, instead of
- 35:12Speaker 2: hiring some thugs, he actually hires professional assassins, like actual
- 35:18Speaker 2: like hitmen, and like it's revealed that these hitmen were
- 35:23Speaker 2: hired by Grant in the past, like that he's hired
- 35:26Speaker 2: these guys in the past before. And uh, they they
- 35:33Speaker 2: come into her house, they restrain her, and they were
- 35:39Speaker 2: going to they decided they were going to try to
- 35:43Speaker 2: do something to her, right, they were gonna try to
- 35:45Speaker 2: they were gonna stage her, like they were in to
- 35:47Speaker 2: stage her death, make it seem like either she took
- 35:50Speaker 2: her own life or she just died some way. They
- 35:53Speaker 2: were gonna try to like they were gonna have her
- 35:55Speaker 2: hang herself. But she's like, okay, but from where she's
- 36:00Speaker 2: a caddy. Little, She's a caddie. I love her. She's like, oh, really,
- 36:04Speaker 2: where am I gonna hang myself from? And they look around.
- 36:07Speaker 2: She's like, well, her house does not have any like
- 36:09Speaker 2: fixtures that she can like tie a rope around. And
- 36:11Speaker 2: I'm like, all right, well here take this knife and
- 36:15Speaker 2: you know what to do. She's like, Okay, before I
- 36:17Speaker 2: do that, can I please like go to the bathroom.
- 36:22Speaker 2: And she They're like okay, fine, but yeah, you better
- 36:26Speaker 2: hurry up.
- 36:27Speaker 1: Yeah, They're like, uh, okay.
- 36:30Speaker 2: She goes to the bathroom and she does, like she
- 36:32Speaker 2: does use the knife on her to like cut herself
- 36:35Speaker 2: and like beats some blood to her. It's an Avalon
- 36:39Speaker 2: and it beats. It gives Avalon enough strength that like
- 36:42Speaker 2: when she she ends up passing out and Avalon he
- 36:45Speaker 2: used he like heals her cut and like stabilizes her
- 36:49Speaker 2: and then it gets out and it runs up on
- 36:53Speaker 2: the two hit men.
- 36:55Speaker 3: And b yeah, girl, he ate he a Avalon A
- 37:03Speaker 3: At the end of the episode, he a.
- 37:08Speaker 1: He ate he ate.
- 37:12Speaker 2: So he ends up Avalon ends up killing the hitman
- 37:16Speaker 2: and uh like brutally like ends up taking them, like
- 37:21Speaker 2: completely eats them, leaves huge mess all over the place.
- 37:25Speaker 2: And when Miriam's like when when Muriel is stabilized enough,
- 37:29Speaker 2: she sees what he does, what he did, and he's
- 37:31Speaker 2: able to maintain this form a lot longer before having
- 37:34Speaker 2: to go back into the bathtub, and like she slowly
- 37:37Speaker 2: becomes like the lines between Avalon and Billy, her husband,
- 37:41Speaker 2: are becoming more and more blurred because it's actually being
- 37:45Speaker 2: being very considerate to her, it's caring for her, it's
- 37:48Speaker 2: helping her, and like she slowly like stops seeing it
- 37:52Speaker 2: as Avalon and sees it as her husband, Billy. And
- 37:56Speaker 2: the thing is is that the developers come back thinking
- 37:59Speaker 2: that she's dead, and she comes out and she's like,
- 38:01Speaker 2: oh hey what, like hey, how you doing? And they're
- 38:04Speaker 2: all like, oh, you're still here. Huh, well you haven't
- 38:12Speaker 2: seen the last of us, and she and they leave
- 38:15Speaker 2: and like, I'll be honest and not really like there's
- 38:18Speaker 2: more details that I'm not really going into. Like that's
- 38:21Speaker 2: the appeal we want you to be. We want you
- 38:24Speaker 2: guys to like read it for yourself. But Avalon eventually
- 38:28Speaker 2: goes out and beats some more nor okay. So Avalon
- 38:38Speaker 2: eventually goes out again and feeds because it realizes it
- 38:41Speaker 2: wants wants to keep its strength up to keep you know,
- 38:44Speaker 2: Muriel happy and also protect her, and she goes. It
- 38:52Speaker 2: goes and attacks some of the workers that were in
- 38:55Speaker 2: the construction site. Patrick Grant literally hired these guys to
- 38:59Speaker 2: continue usually make a loud racket by like driving their
- 39:03Speaker 2: tractors back and forth along the road, like using the
- 39:06Speaker 2: tools to like make like as much noise as possible
- 39:08Speaker 2: just to make their everyone's lives miserable. Like it basically
- 39:12Speaker 2: like get them to the point where like, all right,
- 39:15Speaker 2: I'm fed up, I'll take the deal and leave. And
- 39:19Speaker 2: they even but Avalon sees like an opportunity to like
- 39:23Speaker 2: help Muriel by getting rid of these guys. So when
- 39:27Speaker 2: Muriel like this was like not long after the hit,
- 39:30Speaker 2: after it killed the hitman, it put mural to it
- 39:33Speaker 2: put Muriel to sleep and took a little bit of
- 39:35Speaker 2: more of her blood and shape shifted itself into a
- 39:38Speaker 2: younger version of Muriel. And then its Avalon saunters out
- 39:43Speaker 2: of her house buck ass naked right goes up to
- 39:47Speaker 2: the construct to that construction crew and like seduces them,
- 39:52Speaker 2: which doesn't take much. It doesn't take much, and it
- 39:57Speaker 2: once it gets all it gets two of them to
- 40:00Speaker 2: like try it, like to like actually, like this is
- 40:04Speaker 2: where it kind of gets gross because like it Avalon
- 40:07Speaker 2: manages to get two of them to start like having
- 40:10Speaker 2: sex with it.
- 40:12Speaker 3: Yeah, like.
- 40:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I call that in the Eiffel Tower and I
- 40:18Speaker 2: hate myself for it, if you know, you know. And
- 40:23Speaker 2: while while two of these guys are having sex with it,
- 40:29Speaker 2: that's when it decides like, Okay, I'm gonna chomp down
- 40:32Speaker 2: on their on their junk from both ends. It ends
- 40:36Speaker 2: up eating through their junk and like eats both of them,
- 40:39Speaker 2: and the third guy almost runs away, but it shoots
- 40:42Speaker 2: out tentacles and catches him and like just like chops
- 40:46Speaker 2: that dude to bits and he ain't dead.
- 40:50Speaker 1: He ate m.
- 40:54Speaker 2: He ate that. Yeah, And when when Billy comes back,
- 41:00Speaker 2: when Avalon comes back, like he has enough energy that
- 41:03Speaker 2: he's able to stay in his human form for a
- 41:05Speaker 2: little bit longer. And UH Muriel and end up is
- 41:10Speaker 2: confronted by the UH by the developers. Again, it's mainly
- 41:15Speaker 2: this one lady who is who's been harassing her to
- 41:20Speaker 2: sell and the thing is the two of them get
- 41:22Speaker 2: into it badly, and Muriel tries to like lure her
- 41:25Speaker 2: into the house in order to like get Avalon to
- 41:27Speaker 2: eat her, but it ends up going badly and there's
- 41:31Speaker 2: an altercation and the lady and the developer lady is like,
- 41:35Speaker 2: all right, that's it, We're fucking done, and she what
- 41:37Speaker 2: she ends up doing is she ends up getting like
- 41:39Speaker 2: a huge like a huge like like force of like
- 41:44Speaker 2: Grant security forces, the police, the media, and they all
- 41:47Speaker 2: surround Muriel's house and Muriel is like, oh crap, this
- 41:51Speaker 2: is it, Like this is it right? And they try
- 41:55Speaker 2: they try selling her, and she needs to come out,
- 41:56Speaker 2: she needs to surrender herself because Grant is making it
- 42:01Speaker 2: out like she is like some sort of crazy lady
- 42:04Speaker 2: right when I mean she she's not, but she is.
- 42:08Speaker 2: It's kind of at this point, it's a gray area
- 42:11Speaker 2: she she has.
- 42:13Speaker 1: But not in the sense that they're making her out
- 42:15Speaker 1: to me.
- 42:16Speaker 2: Yeah, But so Grant himself ends up coming into the house.
- 42:22Speaker 2: She invites. She's like, all right, well, come on in,
- 42:24Speaker 2: and he brings in a bunch of his security forces
- 42:27Speaker 2: with him, and they are about to arrest her and
- 42:29Speaker 2: like drag her off to an asylum and she's like,
- 42:33Speaker 2: I need to go to the bathroom, and he and
- 42:36Speaker 2: they're not. He doesn't Grant doesn't let her go in
- 42:39Speaker 2: there by herself, so he basically forces her to take
- 42:42Speaker 2: a security guard with her, and she goes in, and
- 42:47Speaker 2: she goes to Avalanche and tries to get it to
- 42:50Speaker 2: like help her, but right now it hasn't had time
- 42:54Speaker 2: to feed and sometimes so it's pretty weak. So she
- 42:58Speaker 2: ends up like hurting herself, like cutting herself more and
- 43:03Speaker 2: feeding some blood to it, and like she gets the
- 43:06Speaker 2: thing is when she tries to do that the security
- 43:07Speaker 2: guard that the thing is when she does that, the
- 43:13Speaker 2: Grant actually had the developer lady, like his assistant go
- 43:16Speaker 2: in with her, the lady that has been harassing her
- 43:18Speaker 2: this whole time, to basically watch her while she's really
- 43:21Speaker 2: like relieving herself, and they get into an altercation and
- 43:26Speaker 2: Muriel pushes her against the wall. And the thing is
- 43:28Speaker 2: is that earlier Avalon, when it was defending her from
- 43:33Speaker 2: those hitmen, one of the hitmen had thrown a knife
- 43:35Speaker 2: at her, and Avalon had caught it and like knocked
- 43:39Speaker 2: it into the wall, so the knife was still stuck
- 43:41Speaker 2: in the wall. So there's like a jagged piece of it,
- 43:44Speaker 2: so when she pushes, she pushes the late the assistant
- 43:48Speaker 2: lady away and ends up hit like hitting herself on
- 43:53Speaker 2: the knife and cut and like, I can't remember if
- 43:57Speaker 2: that's what killed her or not. It was like one
- 44:01Speaker 2: of those scenes where like everything happened so fast and
- 44:04Speaker 2: like and
