- 0:00Speaker 1: Giving it back to you, but I want you to
- 0:03Speaker 1: understand he doesn't always give it back to you through
- 0:05Speaker 1: the same person you gave it to. I know this
- 0:11Speaker 1: from experience. I've gone places to preach and the check
- 0:15Speaker 1: bounced or the offering wasn't any good or it was
- 0:18Speaker 1: a bad check or the account was closed. But yeah, yeah,
- 0:23Speaker 1: in 50 years I've had everything happen. But somewhere along
- 0:27Speaker 1: the way in a grocery store, in a department store,
- 0:29Speaker 1: somebody will walk up to me and say, the Lord
- 0:31Speaker 1: laid on my heart to sow this into your hand.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Because you can't beat God's giving. God will find a
- 0:37Speaker 1: way to get a blessing to you, even if he
- 0:40Speaker 1: has to use your enemy. God will use your enemy
- 0:43Speaker 1: to bless you. Are you with me? And she said
- 0:47Speaker 1: unto her husband, behold now I perceive that this is
- 0:51Speaker 1: a holy man of God which passes by us continually.
- 0:55Speaker 1: That means he was always eating over her house. Like
- 0:59Speaker 1: the good reverend on soul food. He was always coming over.
- 1:05Speaker 1: She was always feeding him. He never asked her. She
- 1:09Speaker 1: just did it. She was a great woman. Great people
- 1:14Speaker 1: do great things. Because they have a great capacity. Because
- 1:18Speaker 1: they are thoughtful. God gives them capacity to live up
- 1:23Speaker 1: to their thoughtfulness. Y'all didn't get that. That went over
- 1:30Speaker 1: your head. They're thoughtful. Some people are not thoughtful. You
- 1:35Speaker 1: have to ask them. And some people you got to
- 1:38Speaker 1: beg them. And some of them after you beg them
- 1:40Speaker 1: they still ain't going to give you nothing. But there
- 1:43Speaker 1: are people that are just thoughtful. And it's not always
- 1:46Speaker 1: about money. It can be about running bath water. It
- 1:49Speaker 1: can be taking your car to wash it. Just some people,
- 1:52Speaker 1: they're just going to give you something whether you ask
- 1:55Speaker 1: for it or not. Anybody like that, wave your hand. Yeah, yeah.
- 2:01Speaker 1: And if you're like that, you have somebody in your
- 2:04Speaker 1: family that's always telling you you're crazy. They're using you.
- 2:09Speaker 1: They're making a fool out of you. It don't take
- 2:12Speaker 1: all that. And what they're doing is talking you out
- 2:15Speaker 1: of your blessing. Because as you bless other people, God
- 2:20Speaker 1: will bless you. Fat is, let me tell you what
- 2:24Speaker 1: fat is. Let me explain what fat was to me
- 2:26Speaker 1: this way. When you fill your car tank up full
- 2:29Speaker 1: of gas and the tank is full of gas and
- 2:32Speaker 1: now it's spilling out, that's what fat is. All that
- 2:35Speaker 1: your body didn't use, it spills out. See, this is overflow.
- 2:43Speaker 1: So when God says a liberal soul shall be made fat,
- 2:46Speaker 1: God says, I'm going to give you more than enough.
- 2:48Speaker 1: You're going to have overflow. You're going to have gas
- 2:51Speaker 1: running out into the street, all in your tires, all everywhere.
- 2:55Speaker 1: The liberal soul should be made fat. Why is he
- 2:58Speaker 1: going to make you fat? Because he knows that you're
- 3:00Speaker 1: going to keep giving. You're going to keep sowing. You're
- 3:02Speaker 1: going to keep planting. You're going to keep giving of yourself,
- 3:05Speaker 1: of your time, of your personality. Some of you can't
- 3:08Speaker 1: even give a smile. You're sitting up in church looking
- 3:13Speaker 1: just as mean as a jump yard dog. But when
- 3:17Speaker 1: you're a giver, you light up the room when you
- 3:21Speaker 1: walk in the room. Now she says, let us make
- 3:24Speaker 1: a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall. And
- 3:28Speaker 1: let us set for him there a bed and a
- 3:31Speaker 1: table and a stool and a candlestick. Look at her,
- 3:35Speaker 1: designing a room, building a room. He ain't ask her
- 3:38Speaker 1: for no room. And it shall be when he cometh
- 3:41Speaker 1: to us that he shall turn in thither. Instead of
- 3:45Speaker 1: being tired of him coming over, she wants to make
- 3:48Speaker 1: it comfortable for him to come more. Wonder if you've
- 3:52Speaker 1: made it comfortable for Jesus to come over. Wonder if
- 3:57Speaker 1: you've made a room for him. Wonder if there's space
- 4:01Speaker 1: in your life to have a devotional and have a
- 4:05Speaker 1: relationship with Christ. Wonder if you have a bed. And
- 4:09Speaker 1: a table and candlesticks and a chair and you've decorated
- 4:13Speaker 1: it in such a way that he doesn't have to
- 4:15Speaker 1: break in. Because the Holy Spirit is a gentleman. He
- 4:19Speaker 1: won't break in. He'll come in, but he won't break in.
- 4:22Speaker 1: You have to invite him in. You have to be
- 4:25Speaker 1: intentional about it. You can be evil if you want to,
- 4:29Speaker 1: but if you decide not to be evil, you can
- 4:31Speaker 1: be intentional about it and start worshiping. And if you
- 4:34Speaker 1: really start worshiping, you will find out you cannot be
- 4:37Speaker 1: evil and worship at the same time to save your life.
- 4:41Speaker 1: You can't do it. You can be mad when you start.
- 4:44Speaker 1: You can be mad because somebody came in, your ex-husband
- 4:47Speaker 1: came in, and he's sitting on the back row with
- 4:49Speaker 1: his new wife, and you got an attitude, and then
- 4:51Speaker 1: the service gets good, and the Holy Spirit just washes
- 4:54Speaker 1: all the way. All that just comes away from you.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Are you following what I'm saying? And it fell on
- 4:59Speaker 1: a day that he came dither and he turned into
- 5:02Speaker 1: the chamber and he lay there. And he said to Gehazi,
- 5:07Speaker 1: his servant, call this Shunammite. And when he had called her,
- 5:12Speaker 1: she stood before him. And he said unto him, say
- 5:17Speaker 1: now unto her, behold, thou has been careful for us.
- 5:20Speaker 1: You have given care to me. With all this care,
- 5:24Speaker 1: what is to be done for thee? This is, I
- 5:28Speaker 1: love this word. I love, love, love this word. I
- 5:31Speaker 1: think this explains so much of the Bible is reciprocity. Reciprocity.
- 5:38Speaker 1: In every relationship, there ought to be reciprocity. Paul said,
- 5:43Speaker 1: if I give you my spiritual things, should you not
- 5:46Speaker 1: give me your carnal things? There ought to be reciprocity.
- 5:49Speaker 1: If I'm kind to you, you ought to be kind
- 5:51Speaker 1: to me. If I'm loving to you, you ought to
- 5:54Speaker 1: be loving to me. It might not be the same way.
- 5:57Speaker 1: It might not be the same thing. It might not
- 5:59Speaker 1: be the same amount. I had a friend of mine
- 6:02Speaker 1: gave me something for my birthday that I just couldn't
- 6:05Speaker 1: believe it. I just couldn't even believe it. It was
- 6:07Speaker 1: several years ago, but I just could not believe that
- 6:10Speaker 1: I would receive a gift like that. When his birthday
- 6:12Speaker 1: came around, I couldn't give him what he gave me
- 6:15Speaker 1: because I don't have that kind of money. But to
- 6:18Speaker 1: the limit that I could go, I went to the
- 6:20Speaker 1: very limit and found him a watch. It was the
- 6:23Speaker 1: last one in the world. And I had his name
- 6:25Speaker 1: engraved into it and brought it up there and gave
- 6:28Speaker 1: it to him because I believe in reciprocity. I'm not
- 6:31Speaker 1: just going to suck up the blessing and say, oh,
- 6:33Speaker 1: you're just nice. You're just so nice. Oh, you're so nice.
- 6:37Speaker 1: You're so nice. You don't ever do nothing. Cook dinner,
- 6:40Speaker 1: make squash, make some cornbread, bake a cake, get some
- 6:44Speaker 1: cookies out, do something so that you have reciprocity. That's
- 6:48Speaker 1: what the Bible said. As long as the earth will remain,
- 6:50Speaker 1: it's in the book of Genesis chapter 8, there will
- 6:53Speaker 1: be a seed. Time and harvest. Harvest is reciprocity to
- 6:58Speaker 1: seed time. There will be day and night. There will
- 7:01Speaker 1: be winter and summer. These things are consistent. Whether you're
- 7:06Speaker 1: saved or unsaved or holy or unholy, they're consistent. Reciprocity.
- 7:12Speaker 1: You ought to be convicted if somebody keeps being nice
- 7:16Speaker 1: to you and you don't do nothing. It ought to
- 7:20Speaker 1: bother you. It ought to bother you. It ought to
- 7:23Speaker 1: disturb you that you don't do nothing back. You ought
- 7:27Speaker 1: to wash dishes sometime. You ought to cook sometime. Every
- 7:32Speaker 1: now and then when my wife is cooking a lot,
- 7:34Speaker 1: I'll come in and beat her and lay out something
- 7:37Speaker 1: and cook for her and just have something done. Just
- 7:39Speaker 1: to say you ain't got to always cook. Be standing
- 7:42Speaker 1: over no stove cooking. Yes, reciprocity. You ought to do something.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Are you hearing what I'm saying? So this woman had reciprocity.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Say now unto her, behold, the prophet says, behold, thou
- 7:53Speaker 1: has been careful for us with all this care. What
- 7:56Speaker 1: is to be done for thee? Wouldst thou be spoken
- 7:59Speaker 1: for to the king or to the captain of the host?
- 8:02Speaker 1: And she answered, I dwell amongst my own people. She bad,
- 8:06Speaker 1: she bad. She said, I don't need nothing. You don't
- 8:09Speaker 1: need to introduce me to the king and none of
- 8:11Speaker 1: that kind of stuff. She said, I'm satisfied to dwell
- 8:14Speaker 1: amongst my own people. So she definitely wasn't using him.
- 8:19Speaker 1: When he offered her an opportunity to enter into his
- 8:23Speaker 1: favor with the king, she said, I'm cool. I'm happy
- 8:29Speaker 1: to be amongst my own people. And he said, what
- 8:31Speaker 1: then is to be done for her? Look, he won't
- 8:33Speaker 1: let her say no. He won't let her say no.
- 8:37Speaker 1: What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, verily,
- 8:42Speaker 1: she have no child. She didn't say nothing about the child. Gehazi,
- 8:46Speaker 1: who was Elijah's servant, says she has no child and
- 8:51Speaker 1: her husband is old. So this is something she couldn't
- 8:55Speaker 1: do for herself. I'm not going to explain that, but anyway.
- 9:00Speaker 1: And he said, call her. And when he had called her,
- 9:03Speaker 1: she stood in the door. And he said, about this season,
- 9:09Speaker 1: according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. Now,
- 9:15Speaker 1: it's hard in the Western culture in the modern time
- 9:19Speaker 1: to explain how important it was to women in the
- 9:22Speaker 1: Bible days to birth a son. But let me take
- 9:26Speaker 1: a stab at it. When you go back to the
- 9:28Speaker 1: third chapter of the book of Genesis, the prophecy goes
- 9:31Speaker 1: out to Eve that the seed of the woman died.
- 9:34Speaker 1: she'll bruise the head of the seed of the serpent,
- 9:37Speaker 1: and the serpent shall bruise his heel. It is the
- 9:40Speaker 1: first messianic prophecy. And it is given to say that
- 9:44Speaker 1: some woman is going to come along. Eve thought it
- 9:46Speaker 1: was her when she had Cain and Abel, and that's
- 9:50Speaker 1: a whole other story. And then finally Seth, she was
- 9:53Speaker 1: hoping she would be the woman that birthed the one
- 9:55Speaker 1: that got back at the serpent for how he tricked her.
- 9:59Speaker 1: But the prophecy was for Mary. Are you hearing what
- 10:04Speaker 1: I'm saying? But all through the Old Testament, you see
- 10:07Speaker 1: women saying something they ain't saying no more. Give me
- 10:10Speaker 1: a child lest I die. Hannah was crying out for
- 10:13Speaker 1: a child, going in the temple moaning for a child.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I don't know when I've seen somebody on the altar
- 10:19Speaker 1: crying crying for a baby. I've seen some crying because
- 10:22Speaker 1: they had a baby. But you have to understand this
- 10:26Speaker 1: is a cultural dynamic for Hebrew women. Okay? And she said, Nay,
- 10:31Speaker 1: my Lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto
- 10:35Speaker 1: thy handmaid. Now she has already called him a holy man.
- 10:39Speaker 1: But when he said that she was going to have
- 10:41Speaker 1: a child, she said, don't lie to me. And this,
- 10:46Speaker 1: the word has struck a nerve. it struck a nerve
- 10:50Speaker 1: because this woman has come to a place that she's
- 10:53Speaker 1: at peace now. She dwells amongst her own people. She's
- 10:58Speaker 1: a proper 31 woman. She has a husband. She's doing good.
- 11:02Speaker 1: She's doing business. She can afford to build a room
- 11:05Speaker 1: onto her house for somebody who comes by occasionally. And
- 11:09Speaker 1: she says, don't wake up my desire for a child.
- 11:16Speaker 1: And in spite of that, The Bible says that a
- 11:18Speaker 1: woman conceived and bear a son at that season that
- 11:22Speaker 1: Elijah had said unto her at that season. Look at
- 11:26Speaker 1: your neighbor and say, you got a season. You got
- 11:30Speaker 1: a season to reap. After having seasons to sow, you're
- 11:36Speaker 1: going to have a season to reap. It started out
- 11:39Speaker 1: a season she was just cooking dinner. And then she
- 11:42Speaker 1: had a season where she was building a house. She
- 11:45Speaker 1: had a season she was decorating for somebody else to
- 11:50Speaker 1: live in a part of the house that she didn't
- 11:52Speaker 1: even live in. But as sure as she had a
- 11:54Speaker 1: season to sow, she had a season to reap. And
- 11:57Speaker 1: the Bible said now she has come into her season.
- 12:00Speaker 1: How many of you feel like you're coming into your season?
- 12:04Speaker 1: Type on the line if you're watching on the stream,
- 12:07Speaker 1: I'm coming into my season. Even if you don't feel
- 12:10Speaker 1: like it, even if you don't see it, even if
- 12:13Speaker 1: the rent-to-own man came and took your TV out, just
- 12:17Speaker 1: go ahead and just say it by faith. I'm coming
- 12:19Speaker 1: into my season. Your spirit needs to hear your mouth confess,
- 12:24Speaker 1: I'm coming into my season. It would do so much
- 12:27Speaker 1: for your mood and for your attitude. I'm getting ahead
- 12:29Speaker 1: of myself. But the way you talk to yourself has
- 12:33Speaker 1: a lot to do with how much peace you have
- 12:35Speaker 1: and how much contentment you have. If most of y'all
- 12:38Speaker 1: think that the devil is after you and the demons
- 12:41Speaker 1: are tormenting you, it ain't the demons. You're doing that
- 12:44Speaker 1: to yourself. You're feeding yourself poison. Oh, what if this happens? Oh, God,
- 12:49Speaker 1: what if this happens? What if the other happens? Then
- 12:51Speaker 1: you tell, I'm scared to death. I'm afraid. I don't
- 12:54Speaker 1: know if I'm going to live long. Mama died when
- 12:56Speaker 1: she was 27. I don't know if I'm going to
- 12:59Speaker 1: make it. And you just feed yourself all that poison
- 13:01Speaker 1: and wonder why you're not happy. But in her own
- 13:08Speaker 1: season she brought forth. You got a season coming. You
- 13:16Speaker 1: got a season coming. Don't let the devil talk you
- 13:18Speaker 1: into killing yourself and miss your season. Just because you
- 13:24Speaker 1: had to sow a while before you got to it
- 13:26Speaker 1: didn't mean you wasn't going to get it. You got
- 13:28Speaker 1: a season coming. And when the child was grown, now
- 13:32Speaker 1: look at this. And when the child was grown, it
- 13:35Speaker 1: fell on a day that he went out to his father,
- 13:37Speaker 1: to the reapers. Okay? So it's so much difference between
- 13:41Speaker 1: having a grown child and having a little child. It's
- 13:45Speaker 1: altogether different. It's just a whole different experience. You can
- 13:49Speaker 1: say things to your grown children that you couldn't say
- 13:51Speaker 1: when you were a child. And you got to learn.
- 13:53Speaker 1: I'm going to just say this real quick and move on.
- 13:56Speaker 1: You got to learn when to let them go and
- 13:58Speaker 1: be grown. You got to give up your role, your
- 14:03Speaker 1: controlling role as a mother or a father and let
- 14:07Speaker 1: them live their own life whether you like that dress
- 14:10Speaker 1: or not, whether you like that coat or not, whether
- 14:13Speaker 1: you like that job or not. You lived your life.
- 14:15Speaker 1: You made your choices. Even if it's a mistake, sometimes
- 14:19Speaker 1: you got to let them make the mistake. But because
- 14:24Speaker 1: of your need to be who you were, you can't
- 14:27Speaker 1: transform into who you are. Oh, it got quiet, Jesus. Anyway,
- 14:36Speaker 1: he's out there with his father. She sent him out
- 14:38Speaker 1: to the father. It's interesting to note when he was little,
- 14:41Speaker 1: he was with his mama. But when he got older,
- 14:44Speaker 1: he went to be with his father. It's already told
- 14:47Speaker 1: you his father was old, but he's still getting something
- 14:50Speaker 1: from an old man that he can't get from his mother. See,
- 14:54Speaker 1: there's something that you get from an old man that
- 14:57Speaker 1: you can't get from a young one. It's a different
- 15:00Speaker 1: level of reasoning. It's a different level of understanding. It's
- 15:03Speaker 1: a different perspective because they have been where you have
- 15:07Speaker 1: yet to go. You see, but I'm going to say
- 15:10Speaker 1: this and I'm getting myself in all kinds of trouble.
- 15:12Speaker 1: So I hope they don't put this on the internet.
- 15:15Speaker 1: But we got so many young men trying to give
- 15:19Speaker 1: advice to other young men who haven't lived any further
- 15:24Speaker 1: than the young men they're giving advice to. And they're
- 15:27Speaker 1: chief apostle at 19. They got bodyguards and security guards
- 15:34Speaker 1: and briefcases and they're coming in and this is my covering.
- 15:38Speaker 1: This is my spiritual father. Really? Really? You older than
- 15:42Speaker 1: your daddy. And it's nothing wrong because I started out
- 15:47Speaker 1: preaching when I was 19. I love young people. But
- 15:50Speaker 1: for me to teach on marriage. at 19 or 21
- 15:54Speaker 1: would be totally different from me teaching on marriage and
- 15:58Speaker 1: having raised my children. I've learned a whole lot of
- 16:01Speaker 1: things that were theoretical that in reality didn't work out
- 16:05Speaker 1: the way I thought it would work out. Can I
- 16:07Speaker 1: get a witness? Is there a witness in here? I
- 16:10Speaker 1: thought I knew something, but when them kids got through
- 16:13Speaker 1: with me, they took me to school. I now have
- 16:16Speaker 1: a doctorate I have a doctorate degree in what works
- 16:21Speaker 1: and what don't work. But we're losing our fathers. Paul
- 16:29Speaker 1: said we have many teachers, but we only have one father.
- 16:32Speaker 1: And don't fool around and lose your father. Don't let
- 16:34Speaker 1: the enemy cause you to become disconnected with your father.
- 16:38Speaker 1: He don't have to be perfect to be your father.
- 16:41Speaker 1: He still gave birth to you. And he's old. And
- 16:46Speaker 1: the boy has now a grown man, grown enough to leave.
- 16:51Speaker 1: But he's still with his father. And he said to
- 16:55Speaker 1: his father, maybe something he couldn't have said to his brother,
- 16:59Speaker 1: my head, my head. To be able to say where
- 17:02Speaker 1: it hurts. Did you get that? To be able to
- 17:08Speaker 1: say where it hurts, to be able to say what's
- 17:10Speaker 1: wrong with you, to be able to confide in somebody
- 17:12Speaker 1: who's not going to tell you business. Now, every old
- 17:15Speaker 1: man is not a father. Gray hair don't necessarily make
- 17:20Speaker 1: you wise. It just makes you great. But if you
- 17:23Speaker 1: find a real father, you ought to be able to say,
- 17:26Speaker 1: my head, my head. But today, we spend so much
- 17:29Speaker 1: time trying to prove to our fathers that we don't
- 17:32Speaker 1: need them. That we're not honest with them to say,
- 17:37Speaker 1: my head, my head. Sounds like to me the boy
- 17:40Speaker 1: was having an aneurysm. I don't know. I'm just throwing
- 17:43Speaker 1: in conjecture there. Whatever it was, it killed him. So
- 17:47Speaker 1: it wasn't a headache. It wasn't a nosebleed. My head,
- 17:51Speaker 1: my head. And he said to a lad, carry him
- 17:54Speaker 1: to his mother. And I talked about that Sunday. About
- 17:58Speaker 1: there's certain things that your mother can do. that your
- 18:00Speaker 1: father can't do, a woman's instinct over a child. In fact,
- 18:04Speaker 1: I was reading a periodical that was written by a physician,
- 18:09Speaker 1: says that the cells of a baby never completely leave
- 18:13Speaker 1: the mother. The baby leaves. The baby leaves. But the
- 18:20Speaker 1: cells of a baby stay inside of the mother. So
- 18:25Speaker 1: that when the mother gets sick, part of the defense
- 18:28Speaker 1: that's fighting for her to get well is coming from
- 18:30Speaker 1: the leftover cells of the child. I'm preaching way better
- 18:39Speaker 1: than you shout. And when he had taken him and
- 18:42Speaker 1: brought him to his mother, he set her on her
- 18:45Speaker 1: knees till noon. And by noon he died. And she
- 18:51Speaker 1: went up and laid him on the bed of the
- 18:54Speaker 1: man of God and shut the door upon him and
- 18:56Speaker 1: went out. Don't nobody do that with dead people. She
- 19:02Speaker 1: took the dead child. She carried her dead grown son.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Women get strong when it's their kids. You mess with
- 19:10Speaker 1: their kids, they turn into mighty mouse. And she carried
- 19:15Speaker 1: him and laid him on the bed. And I want
- 19:18Speaker 1: you to sit down so you don't get tired. Now,
- 19:22Speaker 1: but while you're sitting, remember I'm still standing. And I'm
- 19:29Speaker 1: older than two-thirds of you, so if you're tired from
- 19:32Speaker 1: standing in a few minutes, you ought to be praying
- 19:34Speaker 1: for me and speaking in tongues. Because I'm going to
- 19:38Speaker 1: be standing for a while tonight, okay? And what I
- 19:42Speaker 1: want you to see, this is what I want you
- 19:44Speaker 1: to see that I didn't get to dwell on Sunday
- 19:47Speaker 1: I want you to see that this woman was highly favored.
- 19:52Speaker 1: That the prophet gave her some, he did her a favor.
- 19:57Speaker 1: He did her a favor she didn't even ask for.
- 20:00Speaker 1: And I want to expose the misunderstanding we have about favor.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Because we think that if we are favored or you
- 20:09Speaker 1: know how we like to say, how you doing? I'm
- 20:11Speaker 1: blessed and highly favored. We love to say that. The
- 20:16Speaker 1: favor of God is resting on me. That's how I
- 20:19Speaker 1: got that job. That was the favor of God. But
- 20:22Speaker 1: the problem is we only associate favor with success. Oh,
- 20:30Speaker 1: I'm doing so good. We only associate favor with success.
- 20:35Speaker 1: And if you define favor only through success, then you
- 20:39Speaker 1: can't explain what happened to this woman. Her child grew
- 20:43Speaker 1: up and died on her lap. Her favor died on
- 20:48Speaker 1: her lap. But she was still favored. Life is still
- 20:54Speaker 1: going to be life whether you have favor or not.
- 20:57Speaker 1: People are going to die whether you have favor or not.
- 21:00Speaker 1: People are going to get sick whether you have favor
- 21:02Speaker 1: or not. People are going to leave you whether you
- 21:04Speaker 1: got favor or not. People are going to break your
- 21:06Speaker 1: heart whether you got favor or not. Don't let the
- 21:08Speaker 1: devil tell you that you lost your favor because you
- 21:11Speaker 1: lost your friend. Oh, I'm talking so good tonight. I
- 21:17Speaker 1: think I'll dance while I'm standing up here. Favor is
- 21:20Speaker 1: not equated to substance or wealth or good times or
- 21:26Speaker 1: feeling good. You can go through a bad time and
- 21:28Speaker 1: still have favor. Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and
- 21:33Speaker 1: favor with God and favor with man, but he still
- 21:36Speaker 1: got crucified. He was in the will of God, but
- 21:41Speaker 1: he still bled out on the cross. He bled out
- 21:45Speaker 1: because if the blood would have stayed in, it wouldn't
- 21:47Speaker 1: have done us no good. He bled out for our redemption.
- 21:50Speaker 1: He bled out for our deliverance. He bled out for
- 21:53Speaker 1: our salvation. He bled out. Blind bottom ass got healed
- 21:57Speaker 1: just in time to see the blood come out. And
- 22:00Speaker 1: the blood came streaming down. He bled out. Glory to God.
- 22:04Speaker 1: He'd been walking around with all that blood in him,
- 22:07Speaker 1: but it didn't redeem anybody until he bled out. And
- 22:10Speaker 1: sometimes you have so much favor that God will put
- 22:13Speaker 1: you in a situation where you have to bleed out.
- 22:16Speaker 1: And it's painful. And you don't like it. And you're
- 22:19Speaker 1: in the Garden of Gethsemane. And you say, Father, if
- 22:22Speaker 1: it be thy will, pass this bitter cup. That means
- 22:24Speaker 1: he didn't want to do it. He didn't want to
- 22:26Speaker 1: do it. He didn't like it. The Bible said he
- 22:28Speaker 1: despised it. He despised the shame of the cross, but
- 22:32Speaker 1: for the joy that was set before him. He looked
- 22:35Speaker 1: beyond the present circumstance to see what was going to
- 22:39Speaker 1: come out of it on the other side. I'm helping
- 22:41Speaker 1: somebody right now. I can feel it. You're all sitting
- 22:45Speaker 1: up soaking in. The temporary circumstance, you're only going to
- 22:48Speaker 1: be on the cross for a little while. After a while,
- 22:51Speaker 1: you're going to rise again and the cross is going
- 22:54Speaker 1: to be empty. Do you hear what I'm saying to you?
- 22:57Speaker 1: I'm talking to somebody. The only way you can endure
- 23:01Speaker 1: a season of pain is to look beyond it. Don't
- 23:05Speaker 1: look at it. Look beyond it. Look beyond it. Having
- 23:09Speaker 1: an expectation. Having a hope inside of yourself. Keep your hope.
- 23:13Speaker 1: If you want to not bury your dream, you got
- 23:17Speaker 1: to keep your vision. For without a vision, the people perish.
- 23:21Speaker 1: I don't care if you got to get binoculars. I
- 23:23Speaker 1: don't care if you have to get away from negative
- 23:25Speaker 1: people and find somebody that believes in your dream. You
- 23:28Speaker 1: need to be around somebody that is helping you to
- 23:32Speaker 1: see beyond. It's still possible. It can still happen. You
- 23:36Speaker 1: might be an old woman, Sarah, but you can still
- 23:39Speaker 1: have a baby. Oh, you don't hear what I'm saying. Rahab,
- 23:43Speaker 1: you might be a hooker, but you might end up
- 23:45Speaker 1: in the lineage of Jesus Christ. They all don't hear
- 23:48Speaker 1: what I'm saying to you. Ruth, I don't care that
- 23:51Speaker 1: you were an idolatress. You can change on the road.
- 23:54Speaker 1: She wasn't in church. She wasn't in a service. She
- 23:57Speaker 1: wasn't in a ceremony. But right in the middle of
- 24:00Speaker 1: the road, she said, thy God shall be my God.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Thy people shall be my people. Where thou lodgest, I
- 24:06Speaker 1: will lodge. Where thou diest, I will die. She had
- 24:09Speaker 1: a conversion on the move. she had a conversion while
- 24:13Speaker 1: she was walking and she was converted by a woman
- 24:16Speaker 1: that was depressed and discouraged and didn't even want to
- 24:19Speaker 1: go on any further y'all don't hear me Naomi don't
- 24:23Speaker 1: have to be spiritual and happy to affect Ruth your
- 24:31Speaker 1: mentor doesn't have to be perfect to affect you She
- 24:35Speaker 1: was going through a bad time. Worst time in her life.
- 24:37Speaker 1: She want to rename herself. And all the while, while
- 24:41Speaker 1: she's depressed, she's still winning souls. Oh, y'all don't hear
- 24:46Speaker 1: what I'm saying to you. She wasn't preaching and singing
- 24:49Speaker 1: and laying hands and slinging oil on nobody. She was there,
- 24:53Speaker 1: call me Mara, which means bitterness. I went out full
- 24:57Speaker 1: and I came home empty. And while she was talking
- 24:59Speaker 1: all out of her head, she was still affecting Ruth.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Because sometimes your greatest witness is in your frustration and
- 25:07Speaker 1: your test. And your trial. And when I see you
- 25:10Speaker 1: survive hell and high water. And I see you still
- 25:14Speaker 1: going forward. Even though you don't feel like going forward.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Your greatest witness might not come while you're on the mountain.
- 25:20Speaker 1: It might come while you're in the valley. At your
- 25:23Speaker 1: lowest moment. See you're not as powerful when things are
- 25:27Speaker 1: going good as you are when all hell is breaking loose.
- 25:30Speaker 1: There's something about all hell breaking loose that it brings
- 25:33Speaker 1: something out of you where people can see you suffer
- 25:36Speaker 1: and still be consistent. She was depressed but she kept
- 25:39Speaker 1: on walking. She was angry, but she kept on walking.
- 25:42Speaker 1: She was hurt, but she kept on walking. I found
- 25:45Speaker 1: out a long time ago, if you keep on walking,
- 25:48Speaker 1: you can walk your way out of anything. If you
- 25:51Speaker 1: just keep on walking, you ain't got to feel like walking.
- 25:54Speaker 1: You ain't got to be excited about walking. You ain't
- 25:57Speaker 1: got to be happy about walking. But if you just
- 26:00Speaker 1: keep on the steps of a good man, are ordered
- 26:03Speaker 1: by the Lord. And if you just keep on walking
- 26:06Speaker 1: in what God ordered. He didn't ask you to like it.
- 26:09Speaker 1: He just told you to walk it out. I think
- 26:11Speaker 1: this is walking out Wednesday. So we need to walk
- 26:15Speaker 1: out some stuff until people get healed and people get delivered.
- 26:19Speaker 1: That's why the devil hates you now. I learned way
- 26:27Speaker 1: more from my spiritual father in his times of grief.
- 26:30Speaker 1: In his times of loss, in his times of testing
- 26:34Speaker 1: and trial, I learned way more than I did in
- 26:37Speaker 1: his times of success. I watched him suffer. I watched
- 26:41Speaker 1: him go through turmoil. I watched him go through all
- 26:44Speaker 1: kinds of stuff. And I thought, Lord, have mercy at
- 26:47Speaker 1: the things I got to see. Because when you get
- 26:49Speaker 1: close enough to somebody that you can see their wounds,
- 26:53Speaker 1: that's what makes Thomas believe. Oh, y'all don't hear what
- 26:56Speaker 1: I'm saying. When you see their wounds, see, you're trying
- 27:00Speaker 1: to see their face, but you need to see their wounds.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Blessed are they who have not seen, but yet they believe.
- 27:06Speaker 1: But Thomas believed because he saw Jesus' wounds. Jesus didn't
- 27:11Speaker 1: hide his wounds from Thomas. He showed him his wounds
- 27:15Speaker 1: because his wounds was his deed of trust. It was
- 27:19Speaker 1: his signature. It was his authenticity. It was his absolute
- 27:23Speaker 1: proof that he was the same Jesus that was on
- 27:26Speaker 1: the cross. And he said, let me show you my scars,
- 27:30Speaker 1: not my stars. Let me show you my scars. The
- 27:33Speaker 1: fact that I'm still here. I've been wounded. I've been depressed.
- 27:37Speaker 1: I cried myself to sleep, but I'm still here. And
- 27:41Speaker 1: I got favor. Even when it doesn't look like I
- 27:44Speaker 1: got favor, I got favor to be here. I got
- 27:47Speaker 1: favor to still be standing. I got favor to be
- 27:50Speaker 1: in my right mind. Somebody get an ass and settle
- 27:54Speaker 1: the ass because I got somewhere to go. I got
- 27:57Speaker 1: somewhere to go because I'm not going to let the
- 27:59Speaker 1: devil talk me into thinking that I'm cursed. Some of
- 28:02Speaker 1: you have allowed the devil to make you think there's
- 28:05Speaker 1: a curse on your life because you judge favor by
- 28:09Speaker 1: your condition. But you need to judge favor by your position.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Your condition is going to change all the time. But
- 28:16Speaker 1: your position is going to stay the same. I'm still
- 28:19Speaker 1: his child. If I'm broke, I'm his child. If I'm prodigal,
- 28:23Speaker 1: I'm his child. If I'm in the hog pen, I'm
- 28:26Speaker 1: his child. If I'm lonely, I'm his child. If I'm
- 28:30Speaker 1: backed up against the wall, I'm his child. That's why
- 28:32Speaker 1: you got to be careful about doing something to me
- 28:35Speaker 1: because I'm his child. Saul was wrong as rain, but
- 28:38Speaker 1: David said, I'm not going to touch God's anointed. He's
- 28:41Speaker 1: still anointed. Even though he's wrong and stubborn and even
- 28:45Speaker 1: though he tried to kill me, I still respect the
- 28:48Speaker 1: anointing that is on his life. I'm talking about being
- 28:51Speaker 1: favored in a bad situation. Oh God, I hope somebody's
- 28:55Speaker 1: watching on the stream. I hope somebody's hearing what I'm
- 28:59Speaker 1: saying to you. The devil's trying to talk you out
- 29:01Speaker 1: of your favor and make you think that God don't
- 29:04Speaker 1: love you and you're claiming that you're living up under
- 29:06Speaker 1: a generational curse. You're all under the curse because you
- 29:09Speaker 1: said you were. If you talk the curse, you're going
- 29:13Speaker 1: to live in the curse. But if you talk the blessing,
- 29:16Speaker 1: you're going to live in the blessing. Oh, you're on
- 29:18Speaker 1: a tight end of the line. I'm still favored. I
- 29:21Speaker 1: might be in a bad season, but I'm still favored.
- 29:25Speaker 1: My roof might be leaking, but I'm still favored. They
- 29:28Speaker 1: may have repossessed my car, but I'm still favored. Watch me.
- 29:32Speaker 1: I'll get me another car. I'll come back around again.
- 29:36Speaker 1: I'll buy me another house. I'll get myself together. How? Hallelujah.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Because a righteous man will fall seven times, but he
- 29:45Speaker 1: keeps on getting up. Glory to God. And just because
- 29:48Speaker 1: you caught me while I was on the ground, don't
- 29:51Speaker 1: mean I'm not going to get back up again. Glory
- 29:54Speaker 1: to God. The favor of God is not based on
- 29:57Speaker 1: my condition. It is based on my position. My position
- 30:01Speaker 1: is secure. In him I live. In him I move. Oh,
- 30:06Speaker 1: let me stop. I'm going too far. Let me stop.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Let me pull myself off that text. My God, I'll
- 30:13Speaker 1: start a fight in here right now. You can't tell
- 30:16Speaker 1: me I'm not favored. I've been through too much not
- 30:19Speaker 1: to know that I'm favored. I've suffered too many things
- 30:22Speaker 1: not to know that I'm favored. I've survived too many
- 30:26Speaker 1: things not to know that I'm favored. I'm not perfect,
- 30:29Speaker 1: but I'm favored. I'm not always prayerful, but I'm favored.
- 30:32Speaker 1: I'm not always in God's will, but I'm favored. There's
- 30:36Speaker 1: a favor that rests on me that's different from anybody
- 30:39Speaker 1: else in the world. I ain't jealous of nobody. I
- 30:42Speaker 1: ain't got to go see anybody's king. I dwell amongst
- 30:45Speaker 1: my own people. I know who I am. I'm favored.
- 30:49Speaker 1: The woman said, I ain't got no child, but I'm
- 30:51Speaker 1: still favored. I don't need nothing. I don't need a thing.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Look at how she saw herself. Look at her self-talk.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Look at how she talked to herself. Well, why are
- 31:01Speaker 1: you talking to yourself some other kind of way? She
- 31:04Speaker 1: could have been complaining. I don't have no child. I
- 31:08Speaker 1: got all of this house and I don't have no child.
- 31:11Speaker 1: She said, I don't need nothing. I don't need to
- 31:13Speaker 1: go to the king. I don't need to borrow your favor.
- 31:16Speaker 1: I don't need your influence. I got my own stuff.
- 31:20Speaker 1: I dwell amongst my own people. I know who I am.
- 31:23Speaker 1: I don't need you to tell me who I am.
- 31:25Speaker 1: I don't need a title. I don't need a license.
- 31:28Speaker 1: I don't need a decree. I don't need you to
- 31:31Speaker 1: believe I'm a preacher. You can say I'm not a
- 31:33Speaker 1: preacher all you want. There are preachers that don't do
- 31:36Speaker 1: nothing but talk about other preachers. You have never heard
- 31:39Speaker 1: me get up in the pulpit and give God's pulpit
- 31:43Speaker 1: over to talking about another preacher. Because God didn't call
- 31:46Speaker 1: me to talk about preachers. He called me to talk
- 31:50Speaker 1: about him. And I'm not going to get in God's
- 31:52Speaker 1: holy pulpit and start talking about people. Because the one
- 31:56Speaker 1: you're talking about today, you're going to mess around and
- 31:59Speaker 1: need tomorrow. Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Lord have mercy. Don't you feel that favor? The favor
- 32:12Speaker 1: is coming off this stage. It's sliding down into the pews.
- 32:17Speaker 1: It's getting in the aisles. It's coming out of my mouth.
- 32:21Speaker 1: It's coming out of my spirit. It's coming out of
- 32:23Speaker 1: my body. I don't have to have no help. I
- 32:26Speaker 1: don't necessarily have to have no organ. The favor isn't
- 32:29Speaker 1: coming out of the drums. It's coming out of me.
- 32:32Speaker 1: I have favor in the storefronts. I had favor when
- 32:35Speaker 1: I didn't have money. I had favor when I had
- 32:38Speaker 1: to hitch a ride to teach Bible class. But when
- 32:41Speaker 1: I got to the class, I still had favor. Didn't
- 32:44Speaker 1: I have favor? Didn't I have favor? Long time ago,
- 32:48Speaker 1: long time ago, on food stamps I had favor. Back
- 32:52Speaker 1: against the wall I had favor. Favor don't have nothing
- 32:55Speaker 1: to do with your bank account. Favor has something to
- 32:58Speaker 1: do with your soul account. I got favor. Favor, you
- 33:02Speaker 1: can't see it. And this is how you're gonna walk
- 33:17Speaker 1: it out. You're gonna walk in your favor. You're gonna
- 33:21Speaker 1: walk in your favor, but you're gonna understand that your
- 33:24Speaker 1: favor does not exempt you from life. People gonna hurt you.
- 33:34Speaker 1: The fact that the boy died doesn't take away from
- 33:36Speaker 1: the fact that God gave her the boy. It wasn't
- 33:40Speaker 1: a mistake. He died. He died. Excuse me. He was grown,
- 33:48Speaker 1: but he died. He lived a long life. Devil, you
- 33:53Speaker 1: ain't going to get this. I'm going to keep on going.
- 33:55Speaker 1: If I have to sneeze every sentence, I'm going to
- 33:57Speaker 1: keep on going. He still had favor. She got to
- 34:01Speaker 1: see him grow up. She got to see him turn
- 34:04Speaker 1: into a grown man. He didn't die till he was grown.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Still it's favor from God. There is always something to
- 34:12Speaker 1: be thankful for. There's always something to be grateful for.
- 34:17Speaker 1: You have to choose what you're gonna look at. It's
- 34:19Speaker 1: the way you tell your story to yourself that's making
- 34:23Speaker 1: you sick, that's making you mad, that's making you frustrated.
- 34:27Speaker 1: I can take the same story And spin it around.
- 34:31Speaker 1: And show you God. We could be in hell's kitchen.
- 34:34Speaker 1: And I'll still show you God. You can make your
- 34:37Speaker 1: bed in hell. And I'll still show you God. You
- 34:40Speaker 1: can be sick with leukemia. And I'll still show you God.
- 34:44Speaker 1: You can be blind and can't see. And I'll still
- 34:47Speaker 1: show you God. Blind Bartimaeus couldn't see a thing. But
- 34:51Speaker 1: he heard Jesus was passing by. I thank God for
- 34:55Speaker 1: good ears. My eyes might be bad. But my ears
- 34:58Speaker 1: are still good. And faith comes by hearing. And hearing
- 35:02Speaker 1: by the word of God. I'm not supposed to walk
- 35:04Speaker 1: by sight. It depends on what you say to yourself.
- 35:08Speaker 1: What you get. Tell your neighbor I got favor. I
- 35:12Speaker 1: still got favor. I might be in a bad season,
- 35:15Speaker 1: but I got favor. I may be knocked down to
- 35:18Speaker 1: my knees, but I got favor. I may have to
- 35:20Speaker 1: crawl across the floor, but I got favor. I may
- 35:24Speaker 1: be lied on, but I still got favor. I may
- 35:27Speaker 1: be in the hog pen, but I still got favor.
- 35:30Speaker 1: The prodigal son had enough favor to know he could
- 35:33Speaker 1: still go back home. He'd been with the harlots. He
- 35:36Speaker 1: had spent all his money. He was broke. He had
- 35:39Speaker 1: disgraced his father, but he said, I will arise and
- 35:42Speaker 1: go to my father's house. He never for a moment
- 35:45Speaker 1: thought his father wouldn't take him back because he knew
- 35:49Speaker 1: even in his mess, he was still his son. He said,
- 35:52Speaker 1: I'm no more worthy to be called our son, but
- 35:56Speaker 1: I'm still your son. Make me a hired servant. I'm
- 35:59Speaker 1: coming home. It was favor that brought him back home.
- 36:03Speaker 1: It was favor that brought him to his senses. It
- 36:06Speaker 1: was favor that stopped him from eating with the swine.
- 36:09Speaker 1: it was favor that caused him to survive enough to
- 36:11Speaker 1: get back to his father's house it was favor that
- 36:14Speaker 1: made them kill the fatty calf and you know why
- 36:16Speaker 1: they killed the fatty calf because without the shedding of
- 36:20Speaker 1: blood there is no remission of sin it wasn't that
- 36:23Speaker 1: they killed the calf just so they could throw a
- 36:25Speaker 1: party something had to die so something could live I
- 36:29Speaker 1: heard the father I heard the father say this my
- 36:35Speaker 1: son that was dead is alive again And the sacrifice
- 36:40Speaker 1: came when they killed the fatted calf. That calf died
- 36:44Speaker 1: that the son might live. And he kept on walking.
- 36:47Speaker 1: And that's what you got to do. You got to
- 36:49Speaker 1: keep on walking. When you feel good, when you don't
- 36:52Speaker 1: feel good, you got to keep on walking. Hallelujah. This
- 36:56Speaker 1: is walking out Wednesday. Somebody ought to take a little
- 36:58Speaker 1: walk and let the devil know I'm going to keep
- 37:00Speaker 1: on walking. If the kids don't call, if the car
- 37:04Speaker 1: don't start, If I have to move in the garage,
- 37:08Speaker 1: I'm going to keep on walking. If I have to
- 37:10Speaker 1: get a part-time job, if I have to flip hamburgers,
- 37:14Speaker 1: I'm going to keep on walking. I got favor, favor
- 37:17Speaker 1: in my hands, favor in my feet. I got favor
- 37:21Speaker 1: all over me. I said I got favor all over me.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Somebody give me 30 seconds of crazy praise. No, no,
- 37:41Speaker 1: crazy praise. This is what I wanted you to see.
- 37:59Speaker 1: This is what I wanted you to get out of
- 38:00Speaker 1: the text. That just because you have favor doesn't mean
- 38:03Speaker 1: that your life always goes right. Doesn't mean that you
- 38:06Speaker 1: win every battle. Doesn't mean that everybody believes in you
- 38:10Speaker 1: and everybody receives you. They hated Jesus. They conspired against him.
- 38:16Speaker 1: They tried to make his life a living hell, but
- 38:19Speaker 1: he kept on walking. They despised him. They called him Beelzebub.
- 38:24Speaker 1: They said he was a wine-bibber, but he kept on
- 38:27Speaker 1: healing the sick and raising the dead. You think the
- 38:30Speaker 1: victory is to change somebody's mind about you. Let them
- 38:33Speaker 1: think whatever they want to think. Let them say whatever
- 38:36Speaker 1: they want to say. If you got the favor of God,
- 38:39Speaker 1: that's something you can't take from me. God has anointed
- 38:43Speaker 1: me to do this and come hell or high water.
- 38:46Speaker 1: If I get ready to do this, can't nobody stop me.
- 38:49Speaker 1: If I get ready! Ah! Get ready. If I decide
- 38:56Speaker 1: to open my mouth, the power of God, the power,
- 39:02Speaker 1: the power. Now, I want you to sit down, sit down.
- 39:21Speaker 1: I'm just talking to you. I'm supposed to be teaching.
- 39:24Speaker 1: But I got this little preach on me right now.
- 39:27Speaker 1: I'm trying to calm it down. But I got you. Bye-bye.
- 39:30Speaker 1: but I feel some stirring up in my belly. God Almighty. Hallelujah.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Are there any Mormons in the house? What would you
- 39:48Speaker 1: do if your child died on your lap? Died right
- 39:57Speaker 1: on your lap. And even then, she took him up
- 40:02Speaker 1: and laid him in the bed. She didn't bury him.
- 40:06Speaker 1: She didn't plan no funeral. She laid him in the
- 40:09Speaker 1: bed and got on her ass and said, slack not
- 40:13Speaker 1: that bitty. And I told you donkeys don't even move fast.
- 40:17Speaker 1: She must have been kicking the donkey. Because when I'm
- 40:25Speaker 1: after something, don't get in my way. I said, when
- 40:29Speaker 1: I'm after something, don't get in my way. If I
- 40:31Speaker 1: decide I'm going after something, you better move. You better
- 40:34Speaker 1: do stuff you don't normally do. If you're going to
- 40:37Speaker 1: stick with me, you got to move. I don't care
- 40:39Speaker 1: what your nature is. I don't care what your mood is.
- 40:43Speaker 1: If you're going to be with me, you got to go.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Because I'm going somewhere. The favor of God is on me.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Come hell or high water. If I tell you... Now
- 40:58Speaker 1: look at this. She went to the man of God.
- 41:02Speaker 1: The prophet said God had hid it from me. So
- 41:07Speaker 1: you can be a true prophet and still not see everything.
- 41:15Speaker 1: You can be a prophet of God and God hide
- 41:18Speaker 1: certain things from you. God is not going to explain
- 41:22Speaker 1: himself to you. He is not going to show you everything.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Some things are going to catch you off guard. even
- 41:28Speaker 1: though you're a prophet. Prophet enough to speak the child
- 41:32Speaker 1: into existence, but not prophet enough to see that he
- 41:36Speaker 1: was dead. Are you hearing the oxymoron between the two things?
- 41:43Speaker 1: Because when I'm on, I'm on. But when I'm off,
- 41:46Speaker 1: I'm just a person. And the Lord has hid it
- 41:50Speaker 1: from me. And then he says, Gehazi, take my rod
- 41:56Speaker 1: and And go, you mean I have walked, I have
- 41:59Speaker 1: rode all the way up here on the back of
- 42:01Speaker 1: a donkey to see you and you sent your servant
- 42:08Speaker 1: with your rod? You didn't come yourself? I came to
- 42:11Speaker 1: see you. When I saw your servant, I said, it
- 42:13Speaker 1: is well. Which as you know, I didn't come here
- 42:18Speaker 1: to talk to none of your minions. I went back
- 42:22Speaker 1: to the source. Sometimes you got to go back to
- 42:25Speaker 1: the source. You can't go to the armor bearer. You
- 42:28Speaker 1: got to go to the source, the one who said
- 42:31Speaker 1: it in the first place. And when she made it
- 42:34Speaker 1: to the one who said it in the first place,
- 42:36Speaker 1: he sent the servant with his rod and he failed.
- 42:44Speaker 1: Can you imagine what the devil said to her? Where
- 42:49Speaker 1: are you failing now? The rod must not have no
- 42:54Speaker 1: power in it. It didn't work. Gehazi came back and
- 42:58Speaker 1: told Elisha, I tried it, it didn't work. Boy still did.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Time is passing. He then got hard and cold. He's stiff.
- 43:10Speaker 1: Rigor mortis has set in. But his mama still believe it.
- 43:17Speaker 1: You went through a bankruptcy, but you still believe it.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Somebody living in the house got repossessed, but you still
- 43:24Speaker 1: believe it. You hear what I'm talking about? You still
- 43:27Speaker 1: believe and that's what I'm talking about. That's how you
- 43:30Speaker 1: walk it out. You walk it out by faith. You
- 43:35Speaker 1: walk it out by believing God. Yes, there are going
- 43:38Speaker 1: to be voices that come up in your head and
- 43:40Speaker 1: say you are a fool. Yes, there are going to
- 43:43Speaker 1: be voices that come up in your head and challenge
- 43:46Speaker 1: your faith and say it didn't work. You've been feeding
- 43:49Speaker 1: this prophet. You built a room for this prophet and
- 43:53Speaker 1: it didn't work. That word will leap over top of
- 43:56Speaker 1: the fact that the prophet spoke the boy into existence.
- 44:00Speaker 1: It will leap over top of the fact that the
- 44:02Speaker 1: boy lived to be a grown man. And it will, see,
- 44:06Speaker 1: you got to understand something. You can do 10 things
- 44:09Speaker 1: right and do one thing wrong and people will forget
- 44:12Speaker 1: everything you did right and throw it away over one
- 44:16Speaker 1: thing they heard. Don't you count on flesh. Because they'll
- 44:22Speaker 1: say Hosanna today and crucify him in the morning. They
- 44:26Speaker 1: will change on you in a minute. Leave you standing
- 44:28Speaker 1: by yourself. Of course she had voices saying, look at this.
- 44:35Speaker 1: But Elijah said, I'm going myself. And Elijah didn't even
- 44:40Speaker 1: use his rod. He got on top of the corpse.
- 44:45Speaker 1: The corpse, a deteriorating corpse. has so much fungus and
- 44:52Speaker 1: bacteria on it that they used to tie people to
- 44:57Speaker 1: corpses as punishment for murder until the infection from the
- 45:03Speaker 1: corpse got into the murderer and killed him. And Elijah
- 45:08Speaker 1: laid on top of something that should have killed him.
- 45:12Speaker 1: But because he was stronger than the bacteria, He was
- 45:15Speaker 1: stronger than the fungus. He was stronger than the molecules.
- 45:20Speaker 1: He was stronger than the infection. He was stronger than
- 45:23Speaker 1: the disease. Either he was going to get cold like
- 45:26Speaker 1: the courts or the courts was going to get warm
- 45:29Speaker 1: like him.
