Mega Edition: Jeffrey Epstein And The Women Who Made His Crimes Possible (Part 1-2) (8/1/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

Speaker 1: Process today by diving into the article that Tara Paulmery
• 0:07
Speaker 1: put out in Politico a few days ago. Now, this
• 0:12
Speaker 1: is a very long article and it goes into detail
• 0:16
Speaker 1: about Jeffrey Epstein and how his whole entire operation basically
• 0:24
Speaker 1: could not have been what it was without the help
• 0:29
Speaker 1: of the females around him. And when you think about
• 0:33
Speaker 1: sex trafficking, obviously you automatically think about these scuzzbag dudes
• 0:37
Speaker 1: that are engaged in it, right, That's the obvious choice.
• 0:41
Speaker 1: Those are the obvious people to take a look at,
• 0:44
Speaker 1: and more times than not, it is some scuzbag dude
• 0:48
Speaker 1: that's running the show. Well, according to reports, roughly thirty
• 0:55
Speaker 1: nine percent of people involved in human trafficking are women,
• 1:01
Speaker 1: And it just seems more dastardly to me, more draconian
• 1:07
Speaker 1: when a woman is involved in something like this, because
• 1:11
Speaker 1: what happens is these women build trust with these girls
• 1:14
Speaker 1: or other women, they bring them into the nexus, and
• 1:17
Speaker 1: before you know it, you're caught up in the web.
• 1:21
Speaker 1: And it's a lot easier for these girls, these women
• 1:24
Speaker 1: to trust somebody prim and polished, like say Gilay and Maxwell,
• 1:30
Speaker 1: as opposed to some brutish ass dude who isn't educated
• 1:36
Speaker 1: or schooled or anything like that, So you get this
• 1:39
Speaker 1: false sense of security with somebody like Elaine Maxwell, or
• 1:42
Speaker 1: with a woman in general, right, and these women in
• 1:47
Speaker 1: turn use that trust to end up bringing these girls
• 1:53
Speaker 1: into the fold, and from there it becomes the nightmare
• 1:57
Speaker 1: that we have seen time and time again reported on
• 2:01
Speaker 1: by these survivors. So, Tara Palmery did a fantastic job
• 2:08
Speaker 1: with this piece. It's super long, so we're gonna do
• 2:11
Speaker 1: it in a couple of parts. But I've been meaning
• 2:16
Speaker 1: to get to this the last few days, and I
• 2:18
Speaker 1: told you last weekend that we were going to get
• 2:20
Speaker 1: to it, but I wanted to make sure that I
• 2:23
Speaker 1: had the time to sit down and really hammer it out.
• 2:26
Speaker 1: Like I said, it's pretty extensive, and instead of doing
• 2:30
Speaker 1: it all as one long episode, I'm gonna break it
• 2:33
Speaker 1: down into a few parts here. So with that said,
• 2:37
Speaker 1: let's jump in to this article by Tara Palmery over
• 2:42
Speaker 1: at the Politico headline, The Women who enabled Jeffrey Epstein.
• 2:51
Speaker 1: It was a CHRISP. Gray day in January twenty twenty
• 2:54
Speaker 1: when I stepped out of my uber onto what looked
• 2:57
Speaker 1: like industrial wasteland, a con crete scape dotted with smokestacks
• 3:02
Speaker 1: and graffitied shipping containers. I pushed through the glass door
• 3:06
Speaker 1: of an old brick factory and found myself inside the
• 3:10
Speaker 1: pristine walls of the Manna Contemporary Arts Center. In the lobby,
• 3:14
Speaker 1: I waited until a petite woman with jet black hair
• 3:18
Speaker 1: walked in with her her Yorkshire terrier, Mosey. This was
• 3:25
Speaker 1: Rena Oh, and she had asked me to meet her
• 3:28
Speaker 1: in the studio space in Jersey City, New Jersey, where
• 3:31
Speaker 1: she paints and sculpts now. Rena Oh was allegedly one
• 3:37
Speaker 1: of Jeffrey Epstein's recruiters. You have Virginia who came out
• 3:43
Speaker 1: and spoke on Rena Oh, and you also have Margique
• 3:49
Speaker 1: also who came out and spoke about Rena and her
• 3:54
Speaker 1: involvement with Jeffrey Epstein. Now, Rena has her side of
• 3:58
Speaker 1: the story as well, right saying that she was a
• 4:00
Speaker 1: victim that the other thing, and certainly trying to set
• 4:06
Speaker 1: it up as somebody who was being abused by Epstein
• 4:12
Speaker 1: and that is why she was engaging in abuse as well. Now,
• 4:18
Speaker 1: if I believe that story, well that's a completely different conversation.
• 4:23
Speaker 1: But I'll just leave it to you like this, I
• 4:26
Speaker 1: believe what Virginia has to say, and until some evidence
• 4:31
Speaker 1: is provided to show me differently, I'm gonna go with
• 4:36
Speaker 1: what we have compiled throughout the years here, and I'm
• 4:41
Speaker 1: gonna have to say that Virginia and the survivors, their
• 4:49
Speaker 1: story has done nothing but ring true this whole entire time.
• 4:55
Speaker 1: So when you have people like Rina Oh who try
• 4:59
Speaker 1: and act like that the they weren't part of Jeffrey
• 5:01
Speaker 1: Epstein's operation, it takes a lot of evidence to prove
• 5:08
Speaker 1: that right. A recurring subject of her art is Jeffrey Epstein,
• 5:29
Speaker 1: the well connected financier pedophile who died in a New
• 5:33
Speaker 1: York jail cell in twenty nineteen, allegedly while being held
• 5:37
Speaker 1: on sex trafficking charges. O's studio featured an oil painting
• 5:41
Speaker 1: of Epstein's friend, the Joe Exotic of the Windsor Family
• 5:45
Speaker 1: aka Prince Andrew as Bacchus, the God of Wine, and
• 5:49
Speaker 1: next to it a painting of a nude Guilain Maxwell,
• 5:53
Speaker 1: who has been charged with recruiting underage girls for Epstein,
• 5:56
Speaker 1: holding the forbidden fruit in what O calls the Garden
• 6:00
Speaker 1: of Sin. The tone of her paintings was neither critical
• 6:04
Speaker 1: nor celebratory, just strange. And I could definitely see that
• 6:10
Speaker 1: this arena Oh lady definitely comes off as rather odd.
• 6:14
Speaker 1: From the articles that I've read and from the quotes
• 6:18
Speaker 1: that we've seen from her, she certainly strikes me as
• 6:21
Speaker 1: quite the odd duck, no doubt about it. And you know,
• 6:28
Speaker 1: with what Virginia had to say and others, it's hard
• 6:34
Speaker 1: right to believe anything that comes out of these people's mouths.
• 6:41
Speaker 1: Oh's fascination with Epstein is not abstract. She knew him
• 6:46
Speaker 1: personally as someone who was in a romantic relationship with
• 6:49
Speaker 1: Epstein that came to include finding other women for him
• 6:52
Speaker 1: to meet. Although Oh had never spoken to the press
• 6:57
Speaker 1: or to the authorities, she was willing to share her
• 7:00
Speaker 1: story with me for a podcast I was working on
• 7:02
Speaker 1: about Epstein called Broken Seeking Justice. I wanted to understand
• 7:07
Speaker 1: what it was like to be part of his circle
• 7:09
Speaker 1: and why she had done it. Now again, Tara Paul
• 7:13
Speaker 1: Mary is the one who really brought this stuff to
• 7:15
Speaker 1: the forefront here, And of all the people who have
• 7:19
Speaker 1: jumped into the sphere with podcasts and stories and latched
• 7:23
Speaker 1: their names onto the case and all of that stuff,
• 7:26
Speaker 1: Tara Paul Mary has been one of the best and
• 7:28
Speaker 1: the brightest. In my opinion, she has done a fantastic
• 7:31
Speaker 1: job covering this story, digging deeper and unearthing things that
• 7:36
Speaker 1: other folks weren't willing to talk about or weren't able
• 7:41
Speaker 1: to find. And the way she brought it all together
• 7:43
Speaker 1: on her podcast Broken was absolutely phenomenal. So I think
• 7:49
Speaker 1: that throughout this whole case, Tara Paul Mary has been
• 7:52
Speaker 1: an absolute asset and this situation with her unearthing the
• 7:58
Speaker 1: Arena Oh portion of this just more fantastic work by
• 8:03
Speaker 1: her and her team. Oh Now forty two told me
• 8:09
Speaker 1: she had met Epstein in two thousand. She was twenty
• 8:11
Speaker 1: one at the time and living in the New York
• 8:13
Speaker 1: suburbs with her parents when a friend introduced her to
• 8:16
Speaker 1: a man who would become what O described as a rich,
• 8:20
Speaker 1: older boyfriend. And again, I don't know if I buy
• 8:23
Speaker 1: the whole boyfriend thing right. Jeffrey Epstein had side pieces.
• 8:27
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein had what he would consider playthings. Rina Oh,
• 8:32
Speaker 1: as his girlfriend, h I'm not buying it. I found
• 8:38
Speaker 1: myself a really great art patron. Who's going to buy
• 8:41
Speaker 1: artwork from me? She initially thought. Epstein even offered to
• 8:45
Speaker 1: pay for her to attend classes at the School of
• 8:48
Speaker 1: Visual Arts in Manhattan, and for a time secured a
• 8:51
Speaker 1: studio for her in Soho. Now, I'm not saying she
• 8:54
Speaker 1: didn't have anything to do with Epstein. We know that's
• 8:57
Speaker 1: the case. But again, everybody the hero in their own story, right,
• 9:02
Speaker 1: So as far as calling her his girlfriend, probably a
• 9:06
Speaker 1: stretch in my opinion, could be wrong. Right, maybe she was,
• 9:10
Speaker 1: but Epstein is not that kind of guy. He wanted
• 9:14
Speaker 1: to have a bunch of girls around him, right, a
• 9:16
Speaker 1: bunch of younger ladies around him, and he certainly had
• 9:21
Speaker 1: a type. But it soon became clear Epstein wasn't just
• 9:27
Speaker 1: a boyfriend or a benefactor. The whole thing got really
• 9:31
Speaker 1: sketchy when he started asking me, are there any cute
• 9:34
Speaker 1: girls in your class that you can bring over here? Oh?
• 9:36
Speaker 1: Told me. Oh might have been creeped out, but she
• 9:39
Speaker 1: complied with the requests. She told me she introduced three
• 9:43
Speaker 1: young adult women to Epstein. Boy, isn't that nice? Isn't
• 9:49
Speaker 1: that fantastic? So no matter what, Rina, Oh, you brought
• 9:56
Speaker 1: three girls into Epstein's sphere. Okay, no matter how you
• 10:01
Speaker 1: want to spend that, no matter how you want to
• 10:03
  Speaker 1: talk about that that's a fact. It's also a fact
• 10:06
Speaker 1: that you didn't go to the police after Epstein was
• 10:09
Speaker 1: arrested or anything like that. So the question becomes why not,
• 10:14
Speaker 1: Why wouldn't you come forward and speak on what you know?
• 10:17
Speaker 1: And that goes for all of these people that were
• 10:19
Speaker 1: in Epstein's sphere, Like we talk about all the time here,
• 10:25
Speaker 1: these people should be falling all over themselves to speak
• 10:28
Speaker 1: with the authorities. Two of Epstein's accusers, in fact, say
• 10:34
Speaker 1: Oh did more than that. Margique Chartouni, a friend whom
• 10:39
Speaker 1: Oh introduced to Epstein when she was twenty, told me
• 10:42
Speaker 1: she was sexually assaulted by both Oh and Epstein in
• 10:45
Speaker 1: her first and only encounter with him. Virginia Roberts, one
• 10:50
Speaker 1: of Epstein's most vocal survivors, who says she was recruited
• 10:53
Speaker 1: into Epstein's orbit by Maxwell, also accuses Oh of violence.
• 10:58
Speaker 1: So you have two very solid people right there, right,
• 11:03
Speaker 1: Virginia and Margie talking about how Oh was involved in
• 11:10
Speaker 1: this abuse with Epstein. So you have two very credible survivors,
• 11:14
Speaker 1: very credible witnesses, saying that she did this stuff, and
• 11:19
Speaker 1: the only thing going against what they have to say
• 11:23
Speaker 1: is what Oh says herself. So really, like, well, most
• 11:28
Speaker 1: of this case it comes down to who do you believe?
• 11:31
Speaker 1: Who do you think is more credible? For me rather
• 11:35
Speaker 1: obvious where I fall here. In a draft of a
• 11:41
Speaker 1: memoir filed as evidence in a defamation lawsuit, Roberts wrote
• 11:45
Speaker 1: that oh loved bondage, whipping, hitting, and cunning her sex
• 11:49
Speaker 1: partner with little sharp knives until they subdued to her
• 11:52
Speaker 1: punishment and agonizing pain. In an interview, Roberts showed me
• 11:57
Speaker 1: a scar on her upper thigh that she said came
• 11:59
Speaker 1: from one of these sex acts. She was seventeen at
• 12:02
Speaker 1: the time. So look, that is some straight up disturbing
• 12:08
Speaker 1: type of shit, right again, Whatever people want to do
• 12:13
Speaker 1: with consenting adults in their bedroom or in private, hey,
• 12:17
Speaker 1: that's not my business. If you want to go get
• 12:19
Speaker 1: yourself a weed whacker and you and your partner are
• 12:23
Speaker 1: into whacking each other in the stomach with it, hey,
• 12:25
Speaker 1: I don't give a shit. Do whatever you want, man,
• 12:27
Speaker 1: not my business. But when you're doing this to people
• 12:31
Speaker 1: who don't want it done to them, children, people under eighteen, hell, adults,
• 12:36
Speaker 1: even then, you and I, well we got a problem.
• 12:40
Speaker 1: We certainly have a problem in that case. And what
• 12:46
Speaker 1: occurred here with Epstein and allegedly this Rina lady is
• 12:53
Speaker 1: absolutely stomach turning. It's not bad enough, right that you
• 12:59
Speaker 1: have to sexually as somebody. It's not bad enough that
• 13:02
Speaker 1: you have to rape somebody. But no, now I'm going
• 13:05
Speaker 1: to torture you and abuse you by cutting you with
• 13:08
Speaker 1: a knife for a sharp object. What the hell is
• 13:13
Speaker 1: wrong with somebody who would want to do that? When
• 13:18
Speaker 1: I asked Roberts. When I asked about Robert's allegation, Oh
• 13:22
Speaker 1: said she had met Roberts, but she called the accusation
• 13:25
Speaker 1: a complete fabricated lie. As for the incident with Shartuni,
• 13:30
Speaker 1: Oh acknowledged that a sexual encounter took place, but in
• 13:34
Speaker 1: another interview after our Jersey City meeting, she told me
• 13:38
Speaker 1: she did not attack Shartuni. I'm sorry, I didn't know
• 13:42
Speaker 1: what was going to happen. If you had a bad experience,
• 13:45
Speaker 1: you know, you had a bad experience. But I was
• 13:47
Speaker 1: not abusive, Oh said. In later interviews, O blamed Epstein
• 13:51
Speaker 1: for manipulating her and said she believes Epstein abused her
• 13:55
Speaker 1: too in the same encounter with Chartuniultimately, this is going
• 14:01
Speaker 1: to be the excuse from a lot of these women
• 14:03
Speaker 1: who were involved with Epstein, Right, Oh, Well, I was
• 14:06
Speaker 1: being abused too. I was being abused too, So I
• 14:10
Speaker 1: abused in turn. That's not going to cut it for me, though.
• 14:13
Speaker 1: Once you're an adult, you're an adult. And if these
• 14:18
Speaker 1: women would have went to the police afterwards, then it
• 14:21
Speaker 1: would be this would be a whole different story. But
• 14:25
Speaker 1: they didn't. They kept it to themselves, they kept it secret.
• 14:28
Speaker 1: They didn't come forward to help other survivors. So, now,
• 14:33
Speaker 1: how can you expect anyone to trust what you have
• 14:36
Speaker 1: to say? Now that your back's up against the wall,
• 14:38
Speaker 1: now that you've been called out for your part in this,
• 14:41
Speaker 1: Now you want to play the victim. I'm sorry, but
• 14:44
Speaker 1: I don't think that's gonna work. Ultimately, Oh said the
• 14:51
Speaker 1: women she brought to Epstein wanted to meet him, and
• 14:54
Speaker 1: that she did not know what would happen once she
• 14:56
Speaker 1: introduced them. Still, Shartouni and Roberts say they believe Oh
• 15:00
Speaker 1: was complicit in the abuse they suffered, and I have
• 15:04
Speaker 1: to agree, right, I have to agree with that Oh
• 15:08
Speaker 1: was getting paid in a studio, all sorts of extras,
• 15:12
Speaker 1: all sorts of benefits, and her job was to bring
• 15:14
Speaker 1: girls to Jeffrey Epstein. Now, this is what Virginia and
• 15:22
Speaker 1: Margitque have alleged, and this is what the evidence has
• 15:30
Speaker 1: proven time and time again. So for Rena to attempt
• 15:36
Speaker 1: to set herself up as a victim here, I just
• 15:38
Speaker 1: don't see how that's going to pan out. Jeffrey Epstein
• 15:43
Speaker 1: has become a near universal villain in the public eye.
• 15:47
Speaker 1: Dozens of women, some of whom were as young as
• 15:49
Speaker 1: fourteen at the time, have accused him of molesting them
• 15:53
Speaker 1: over two decades, primarily in the nineteen nineties and two
• 15:57
Speaker 1: thousands in Florida, New York, and New Mexico, as well
• 16:02
Speaker 1: as on his private Caribbean island. A number of powerful men,
• 16:06
Speaker 1: from Britain's Prince Andrew to lawyer Alan I kept my
• 16:09
Speaker 1: underpants on Dershowitz, have been accused in court documents of
• 16:13
Speaker 1: having sex with a young woman Epstein introduced them to allegations.
• 16:18
Speaker 1: Both men deny. One male associate of Epstein's has been
• 16:22
Speaker 1: charged in France. That's Jean Luke Brunel. Other influential men
• 16:27
Speaker 1: were friends with Epstein or accepted his money. Yet after
• 16:31
Speaker 1: reporting on Epstein for months and speaking to associates like Oh,
• 16:35
Speaker 1: I came to a realization Beyond these men exists a
• 16:39
Speaker 1: group of women, possibly even larger, who helped keep Epstein's
• 16:44
Speaker 1: massive sex trafficking operation running for more than twenty years.
• 16:48
Speaker 1: And this is an ongoing theme with the Jeffrey Epstein organization.
• 16:53
Speaker 1: That's why it was a brilliant setup when we're talking
• 16:57
Speaker 1: in criminal terms. He had all of these women, these
• 17:00
Speaker 1: unassuming women, young, bit older, educated, working for him to
• 17:05
Speaker 1: bring all of this together and to have all of
• 17:08
Speaker 1: these girls brought to him, and it worked perfectly because
• 17:15
Speaker 1: nobody suspected that these women would be in on it.
• 17:18
Speaker 1: These other girls, the survivors trusted them and in turn
• 17:24
Speaker 1: had that trust smashed and shattered and their whole entire
• 17:29
Speaker 1: lives thrown off course because these women working with Jeffrey Epstein.
• 17:35
Speaker 2: Me me, me, me me, but also you the Pharaoh
• 17:39
Speaker 2: fast forwards his favorite foreign film, powder Donut. Okay, what's
• 17:44
Speaker 2: my line? Uh? The only line I see here on
• 17:46
Speaker 2: the script is get options based on your budget with
• 17:48
Speaker 2: the name of your price tool from Progressive. Oh man,
• 17:51
  Speaker 2: it's a tongue twister.
• 17:52
  Speaker 1: Huh.
• 17:52
Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I'm gonna need a few more minutes, bulbous,
• 17:55
Speaker 2: well risk the risk the name of your price tool
• 17:58
Speaker 2: only from Progressive Hour and fowl of the Comotos coaxsway
• 18:01
Speaker 2: Chris Kesteen terms comping in the Billig's price in coverage,
• 18:03
Speaker 2: much limited by state.
• 18:04
Speaker 1: Law, brought them in to the viper's den. Dozens of
• 18:12
Speaker 1: these women worked for Epstein, formally or informally. If you
• 18:17
Speaker 1: think of this group as a pyramid, at the top
• 18:19
Speaker 1: sits Maxwell, a long time Epstein employee and confidant who
• 18:24
Speaker 1: now stands accused of recruiting miners for Epstein and sex
• 18:27
Speaker 1: trafficking a fourteen year old girl, charges she denies. Below
• 18:33
Speaker 1: her were women Epstein employed as assistants who allegedly scheduled
• 18:37
Speaker 1: and managed dozens of miners for Epstein to abuse. There
• 18:41
Speaker 1: were also women like Oh who brought friends to meet
• 18:44
Speaker 1: Epstein and received gifts or access to his wealth. Now, folks,
• 18:49
Speaker 1: how in the hell is that not a rico case?
• 18:52
Speaker 1: How can you tell me this is not a criminal
• 18:54
Speaker 1: conspiracy that is being run as an enterprise? One hundred percent,
• 18:59
Speaker 1: that's what it is. We know that Maxwell was the lieutenant,
• 19:02
Speaker 1: and underneath her was the core four, and then came
• 19:06
Speaker 1: all of these other ladies. That, my friends, is a
• 19:12
Speaker 1: criminal conspiracy that my friends warrants, rico charges for everybody involved.
• 19:22
Speaker 1: Somehow we have yet to see those charges materialize. Though
• 19:30
Speaker 1: these women aren't household names. Well to you, folks, they are,
• 19:33
Speaker 1: and to the rest of the world they should be.
• 19:36
Speaker 1: There is no reason why I have spent every single day,
• 19:40
Speaker 1: every single day, folks, since October one of twenty nineteen,
• 19:44
Speaker 1: talking about this story, while the legacy media is out
• 19:46
Speaker 1: there playing touch ass and engaging in tribalism. All these
• 19:52
Speaker 1: names should be household names, even for people following Epstein's story.
• 19:57
Speaker 1: But as survivors say, they were Keeter grooming and deceiving
• 20:00
Speaker 1: them and allowing Epstein to operate with impunity. In fact,
• 20:05
Speaker 1: most of Epstein's survivors were introduced to him through other women,
• 20:09
Speaker 1: according to the twelve survivors I've spoken with over the
• 20:12
Speaker 1: past year and a half, as well as dozens of
• 20:15
Speaker 1: allegations in court and in the media. Often survivors say
• 20:19
Speaker 1: it was the women around Epstein who tried to make
• 20:22
Speaker 1: them feel comfortable, as if what they were experiencing was
• 20:25
Speaker 1: normal or harmless. And you add to that that these
• 20:29
Speaker 1: girls came from backgrounds that were riddled with broken homes, problems, drugs, abuse,
• 20:38
Speaker 1: and they have no idea what the upper crust of
• 20:41
Speaker 1: society is or how they live. They think this shit
• 20:44
Speaker 1: is normal. Oh, this is how they live. Oh this
• 20:47
Speaker 1: is what rich people do. Meanwhile, it's not the case.
• 20:51
Speaker 1: And the working poor, all of us, compared to them,
• 20:55
Speaker 1: are nothing but chattel to be used, abused in disco
• 21:00
Speaker 1: tod that their will be it in some foreign war
• 21:03
Speaker 1: or if they're just deciding to abuse your children here
• 21:06
Speaker 1: in the States. Once Epstein began to face legal scrutiny,
• 21:11
Speaker 1: other women made it easier for him to rehabilitate himself
• 21:14
Speaker 1: and re emerge with his power and social cachet. Largely intact.
• 21:21
Speaker 1: Two women served as the lead prosecutors on his case
• 21:23
Speaker 1: when he was first facing charges in two thousand and six,
• 21:27
Speaker 1: and were closely involved in crafting his federal non prosecution agreement,
• 21:32
Speaker 1: plea deal, and lenient sentence. For those without deep knowledge
• 21:37
Speaker 1: of the case, Epstein's short incarceration of thirteen months in
• 21:40
Speaker 1: a county jail could be read as a signal that
• 21:43
Speaker 1: whatever crime he had committed, it wasn't that bad. After
• 21:47
Speaker 1: his release, a number of female socialites and professionals helped
• 21:51
Speaker 1: to welcome Epstein, by then a registered sex offender back
• 21:56
Speaker 1: into so called elite circles. His abuse then continued. Court
• 22:00
Speaker 1: documents assert because remember, folks, the only crime that you
• 22:06
Speaker 1: can commit when you're in one of these elite circles,
• 22:09
Speaker 1: these so called elite circles, is being broke. If you're poor,
• 22:14
Speaker 1: that is the worst crime you could possibly ever commit
• 22:18
Speaker 1: in the eyes of these people. You can molest people
• 22:22
Speaker 1: whatever you want, doesn't matter, as long as you have dough,
• 22:25
Speaker 1: as long as you can be seen as an asset financially.
• 22:29
Speaker 1: Besides that, you are nothing to these people. To point
• 22:36
Speaker 1: this out is not to excuse any of the men
• 22:39
Speaker 1: or prestigious institutions, universities, banks, funds that also help to
• 22:45
Speaker 1: protect Epstein, nor is it meant to hold women to
• 22:47
Speaker 1: a higher standard. But as a woman myself, I have
• 22:51
Speaker 1: been struck by the sheer number of women around Epstein,
• 22:54
Speaker 1: and many of the survivors I've spoken with say they
• 22:57
Speaker 1: feel especially betrayed by those who violated the unspoken rule
• 23:02
Speaker 1: that women protect other women, especially miners. And I always
• 23:06
Speaker 1: thought that that was an unspoken rule, right. I never ever, ever, ever,
• 23:11
Speaker 1: in my mind thought that women were this involved in
• 23:14
Speaker 1: human trafficking. But after all of the stuff that we
• 23:19
Speaker 1: have uncovered here, all of the articles we have covered,
• 23:23
Speaker 1: it's quite obvious now that women unfortunately play a central
• 23:28
Speaker 1: role in situations like this. This dynamic is becoming more
• 23:35
Speaker 1: complicated as survivors seek money from a compensation fund set
• 23:39
Speaker 1: up by Epstein's estate. The fund, designed by lawyers involved
• 23:44
Speaker 1: in other high profile cases of survivor compensation, including nine
• 23:48
Speaker 1: to eleven, has received more than one hundred and seventy
• 23:51
Speaker 1: five claims since last summer and paid out more than
• 23:54
Speaker 1: sixty seven million to an unspecified number of individuals. So
• 23:59
Speaker 1: we know that that the compensation fund has been paying
• 24:03
Speaker 1: out money. Now is it paying out a proper amount
• 24:07
Speaker 1: to these ladies. I don't know, right, nobody's come out
• 24:11
Speaker 1: and talked about it or anything like that. I'm sure
• 24:14
Speaker 1: they all have to sign non disclosures about the amount
• 24:16
Speaker 1: and stuff. But there's guaranteed a lot of these women
• 24:23
Speaker 1: who were working as recruiters for Epstein have themselves set
• 24:31
Speaker 1: up where they think they're going to get money from
• 24:33
Speaker 1: this compensation fund as they try and posit themselves as
• 24:38
  Speaker 1: actual victims. It's a murky case, right, There's a lot
• 24:42
Speaker 1: of gray area here, and I'm certainly not qualified to
• 24:47
Speaker 1: hammer all of that out. Who's a victim who's not? Well,
• 24:49
Speaker 1: we'll have to leave that up to the courts. Right now.
• 24:52
Speaker 1: We can have our opinions for sure. And for me,
• 24:55
Speaker 1: the guideline that I go by is what have the
• 24:59
Speaker 1: actual survivor come out and said the people that they
• 25:02
Speaker 1: have named as people who have abused them? I believe
• 25:05
Speaker 1: them point blank period. So Rina, oh, and all of
• 25:11
Speaker 1: these other ladies who are now coming out and saying
• 25:15
Speaker 1: that they were also abused by Epstein or victimized by Epstein,
• 25:21
Speaker 1: where were you when the first arrest happened. Why didn't
• 25:24
Speaker 1: you come forward and tell the police and the investigators? Yeah,
• 25:27
Speaker 1: what's going on here? This is bad, even worse than
• 25:30
Speaker 1: you imagine because you were still benefiting. So again, if
• 25:38
Speaker 1: you were named by one of these survivors, then my
• 25:43
Speaker 1: opinion is that you're somebody that should be investigated. Among
• 25:52
Speaker 1: those who have sought or received restitution are women like Shartuni,
• 25:56
Speaker 1: who were purely victims of Epstein's predation, but all so
• 26:00
Speaker 1: women whose cases are more complex, those who both introduced
• 26:04
Speaker 1: other women to Epstein and who say they were abused
• 26:07
Speaker 1: by him. Epstein wielded his power wealth and age over
• 26:11
Speaker 1: women who are both victims and victimizers, and he worked
• 26:15
Speaker 1: to convert the former into the ladder, leaning on the
• 26:18
Speaker 1: women he lured in to find more adult and teenage
• 26:22
Speaker 1: women for him. And that's why the core four is
• 26:28
Speaker 1: the most important piece here in my opinion. If you
• 26:31
Speaker 1: bring the corps forward to justice, then they're certainly going
• 26:34
Speaker 1: to talk about the other people who are working underneath them, right.
• 26:37
Speaker 1: Nobody wants to go down alone when it comes to
• 26:39
Speaker 1: this kind of thing. And these women who were working
• 26:43
Speaker 1: with Jeffrey Epstein, these women who were working as recruiters
• 26:47
Speaker 1: for Jeffrey Epstein, and these women who are now trying
• 26:50
Speaker 1: to set themselves up as victims, well, the number one
• 26:55
Speaker 1: question should be where were you after the first arrest
• 26:59
Speaker 1: when Epstein could have really been put up to dry.
• 27:06
Speaker 1: Oh in fact, also has applied for restitution and is
• 27:10
Speaker 1: being represented by the same victims rights lawyer as SHARTOONI
• 27:15
Speaker 1: uh what again. A lot of these lawyers, folks are
• 27:19
Speaker 1: not good people. I'll say that till the cows come home.
• 27:23
Speaker 1: I am not a fan of lawyers in the in
• 27:25
Speaker 1: most respects. A lot of them are money grubbing and
• 27:29
Speaker 1: a lot of them don't really care about what's going on.
• 27:31
Speaker 1: They just want to get paid. Now, that's not all
• 27:34
Speaker 1: the lawyers in this case, right, but that's certainly something
• 27:37
Speaker 1: that I have noticed with lawyers just in general, and
• 27:41
Speaker 1: you see it in this case as well. In an
• 27:44
Speaker 1: email to Politico, Oh characterized Epstein's offers of tuition and
• 27:49
Speaker 1: the Soho studio as tools of his prolonged and repeated
• 27:52
Speaker 1: sexual abuse or let me play Devil's advocate. Those were
• 27:58
Speaker 1: payments for a job well done. She brought other girls in,
• 28:03
Speaker 1: and her payment was the school, was the housing and
• 28:08
Speaker 1: all of the extras that went along with it. So
• 28:11
Speaker 1: let's not act like she wasn't being paid for this
• 28:13
Speaker 1: while it was happening. Now, when we want a Monday
• 28:16
Speaker 1: morning quarterback it, she's gonna try and say that that
• 28:20
Speaker 1: was part of the abuse. All right, Well, look, I
• 28:23
Speaker 1: guess we'll let the courts figure that out. You don't
• 28:30
Speaker 1: know what's happening to you, Oh told me in one
• 28:32
Speaker 1: of our interviews. Epstein eventually dumped her after she refused
• 28:37
Speaker 1: to meet some of his friends for dinner. I was
• 28:39
Speaker 1: lied to and I was used, she said, and unlike
• 28:42
Speaker 1: many many people, I walked away. Oh give me a break.
• 28:46
Speaker 1: You walked away. According to you, you were dumped, whatever
• 28:49
Speaker 1: that means. Again, I don't believe that she was his
• 28:53
Speaker 1: girlfriend ever. Okay, a plaything, perhaps one of his low
• 28:57
Speaker 1: level associates. Definitely friend. Yeah, hard pressed to believe that.
• 29:06
Speaker 1: And to be honest with you, I'm hard pressed to
• 29:09
Speaker 1: believe any of Rina Oh's story. That's my personal opinion.
• 29:13
Speaker 1: She might be telling the truth, folks, but the old
• 29:17
Speaker 1: gut is telling me differently, and so far in this case,
• 29:23
Speaker 1: my spidy sense has been pretty much right on. So
• 29:28
Speaker 1: I'll continue to go with my gut that's backed up
• 29:30
Speaker 1: by the evidence, as opposed to what somebody who is
• 29:35
Speaker 1: being pointed to as her recruiter has to say. Now again, folks, look,
• 29:40
Speaker 1: just my opinion right, doesn't mean that you know, it's
• 29:45
Speaker 1: the the tabernacle truth. Take my opinion, Like I always say,
• 29:50
Speaker 1: in a buck fifty down to the corner store and
• 29:52
Speaker 1: you can get yourself a coffee. More than three years
• 30:00
Speaker 1: into the hashtag me too movement, the Epstein saga offers
• 30:04
Speaker 1: an extreme and still evolving example of how complex questions
• 30:08
Speaker 1: of responsibility can get in cases of sexual abuse. In
• 30:13
Speaker 1: Epstein's world, women both were survivors of a hostile environment
• 30:18
Speaker 1: and sometimes also reap the benefits of their association with
• 30:21
Speaker 1: him or worse still, exactly how Jeffrey Epstein got away
• 30:26
Speaker 1: with years of abuse remains an open question one many
• 30:30
Speaker 1: of his survivors are still working to expose. Answering it
• 30:36
Speaker 1: requires understanding the complicated motivations and actions of the many
• 30:41
Speaker 1: women around him. Folks, that will complete Part one of
• 30:48
Speaker 1: this very informative, very long piece by Tara Palmery. Now
• 30:55
Speaker 1: part program, we're gonna jump right in to Part two
• 31:01
Speaker 1: of The Women Who Enabled Jeffrey Epstein, an article authored
• 31:09
Speaker 1: by Tara Paul Mary and put out by Politico. Lady
• 31:18
Speaker 1: of the House. Of all of Epstein's female associates, Gilayne Maxwell,
• 31:24
Speaker 1: a beguiling woman with a posh British accent, held the
• 31:28
Speaker 1: most power. Her involvement with Epstein has been detailed in
• 31:33
Speaker 1: media reports and court documents, including as part of a
• 31:37
Speaker 1: defamation lawsuit Roberts filed against Maxwell in twenty fifteen, but
• 31:42
Speaker 1: employees of Epstein's painted a fuller picture in interviews, and
• 31:48
Speaker 1: this is where we get our profile of Gilayan Maxwell right,
• 31:53
Speaker 1: not the nonsense that her legal team puts out of
• 31:56
Speaker 1: her being a loving stepmother and and a cherished friend.
• 32:02
Speaker 1: While she might be those things as well, the fact
• 32:06
Speaker 1: of the matter is these girls who have come out
• 32:10
Speaker 1: on records speaking about Gelaye Maxwell, Maxwell's involvement with Epstein
• 32:16
Speaker 1: and Maxwell herself and her behavior, well they've all come
• 32:19
Speaker 1: out and said the same thing that Maxwell was a
• 32:24
Speaker 1: key component of what Jeffrey Epstein had going on. She
• 32:28
Speaker 1: wasn't just some underling, She wasn't just some associate. She
• 32:36
Speaker 1: was right there in a leadership role with Jeffrey Epstein
• 32:40
Speaker 1: one A and one B and all of these assistants
• 32:45
Speaker 1: and women and others who were involved in the grooming process.
• 32:50
Speaker 1: They were all checking in with Gilay Maxwell. Do you
• 32:53
Speaker 1: think she didn't earn the moniker lady of the house.
• 32:59
Speaker 1: Everything went through her. She was the key cog folks,
• 33:04
Speaker 1: you know, like when you want to go speak to
• 33:07
Speaker 1: the president, you gotta get through the chief of staff.
• 33:11
Speaker 1: That was Gylayn Maxwell's role. But at the same time,
• 33:15
Speaker 1: not only the gatekeeper, but right alongside Jeffrey Epstein, hand
• 33:21
Speaker 1: in hand. According to all of these girls helping with
• 33:24
Speaker 1: the abuse, Epstein and Maxwell connected in nineteen ninety one,
• 33:31
Speaker 1: after the mysterious death of Maxwell's father, media mogul Robert Maxwell.
• 33:37
Speaker 1: At first they were just dating. See even that, I
• 33:41
Speaker 1: don't even know if I believe that they were dating
• 33:44
Speaker 1: at all. Folks, Now, they might have been right, there
• 33:47
Speaker 1: might have been a bit of a spark between them
• 33:50
Speaker 1: when they first met, But I've always held the opinion
• 33:54
Speaker 1: that this was never something that just happened, you know, organically.
• 34:03
Speaker 1: They were put together. Her pops had a specific reason
• 34:07
Speaker 1: in mind, and they just you know, they complimented each
• 34:12
Speaker 1: other well, and the oh, this is my girlfriend. That's
• 34:15
Speaker 1: a good cover story, right, gets people on their heels,
• 34:22
Speaker 1: you know, oh, this is a couple. They're not, you know,
• 34:25
Speaker 1: engaging in any sort of weird behavior. So just another
• 34:30
Speaker 1: level of the cover story. And of course when you
• 34:33
Speaker 1: get to jeff Jeffrey Epstein's age, people start asking questions,
• 34:36
Speaker 1: why you're a single dude, what's wrong with you? Why
• 34:38
Speaker 1: don't you have kids? Where's your girlfriend, where's your wife?
• 34:42
Speaker 1: You know, all of those kinds of questions. So it
• 34:46
Speaker 1: would behoove Jeffrey Epstein to pala around with some some
• 34:51
Speaker 1: well spoken, posh British lady on his arm, right, according
• 34:59
Speaker 1: to court documents, excuse me in nineteen ninety nine, Epstein
• 35:03
Speaker 1: began paying Maxwell to manage his various properties and staff.
• 35:08
Speaker 1: According to court documents, Epstein had assaulted three girls prior
• 35:12
Speaker 1: to nineteen ninety one, but survivors and staff say Maxwell's
• 35:17
Speaker 1: entry into his life marked a turning point that before
• 35:21
Speaker 1: long he was sexually abusing as many as three girls
• 35:25
Speaker 1: per day. So we can't overlook the impact Gilain Maxwell
• 35:31
Speaker 1: had on Jeffrey Epstein overall. We're not just talking about,
• 35:37
Speaker 1: you know, his enhanced persona with Gilaan Maxwell with him,
• 35:42
Speaker 1: but his predation increased exponentially this when she came into
• 35:49
Speaker 1: his life. So should we just overlook that these people,
• 35:59
Speaker 1: Jeff Epstein and Guilaine Maxwell were like the perfect duo
• 36:07
Speaker 1: of arch criminals from a comic book. In February of
• 36:16
Speaker 1: last year, I sat down with Roberts and Juana Lessi,
• 36:19
Speaker 1: Epstein's former houseman who worked for him from nineteen ninety
• 36:23
Speaker 1: one to two thousand and two. We met at Alessi's
• 36:26
Speaker 1: home in Florida, a mini mansion on a golf course
• 36:30
Speaker 1: just miles away from Epstein's own Palm Beach mansion. Must
• 36:34
Speaker 1: be nice, All these people living in mansions and shit,
• 36:37
Speaker 1: I don't know about where you folks are at, but
• 36:39
Speaker 1: where I live here in Las Vegas, the housing market
• 36:42
Speaker 1: is insane right now. You have people in bidding wars
• 36:46
Speaker 1: and all sorts of other wild shit. So how does
• 36:49
Speaker 1: the houseman end up living in some mansion? Good on him, right,
• 36:53
Speaker 1: maybe some decent money management. But shit, maybe I'm in
• 36:56
Speaker 1: the wrong business. The reunion between Roberts and Alessi seemed heartfelt.
• 37:03
Speaker 1: They hadn't spoken since she was a teenager, and here
• 37:07
Speaker 1: she was on his doorstep, a grown woman with three children.
• 37:11
Speaker 1: They embraced and then stepped into his home, where they
• 37:14
Speaker 1: sat on his tufted couch and recounted how Maxwell had
• 37:18
Speaker 1: recruited her for Epstein. Now that must have been a
• 37:21
Speaker 1: wild experience for Virginia, right, showing up want a Lessie's house,
• 37:27
Speaker 1: somebody you haven't seen since you were a teenager, somebody
• 37:30
Speaker 1: who was a part of your life when things were
• 37:35
Speaker 1: pretty rough on you. And then to have everything come
• 37:39
Speaker 1: full circle and be able to sit down with this
• 37:42
Speaker 1: person again while you're there with Tara, Paul, Mary looking
• 37:47
Speaker 1: for justice. It must have been almost a surreal experience
• 37:51
Speaker 1: for her. Alessi, who had not previously spoken to the
• 37:57
Speaker 1: media about Epstein told me that one in two thousand
• 38:01
Speaker 1: he was driving Maxwell around Palm Beach, where Epstein owned
• 38:04
Speaker 1: one of several homes, to find teenage girls a regular occurrence.
• 38:09
  Speaker 1: I mean, I don't even understand. Look, it's great that
• 38:14
Speaker 1: Wana Lessie's talking now and stuff, but how in the
• 38:18
Speaker 1: world do you think it's okay to drive around with
• 38:21
Speaker 1: Gilean Maxwell and look to pick up young girls around
• 38:26
Speaker 1: Palm Beach. There has to be a reckoning for people,
• 38:32
Speaker 1: and these people like Juana Lessi, I would think, and
• 38:35
Speaker 1: I would hope that the FBI are speaking with him.
• 38:41
Speaker 1: But it just goes to show you how many people
• 38:44
Speaker 1: were in Jeffrey Epstein's atmosphere. How many people let this
• 38:48
Speaker 1: stuff occur because they feared him for whatever reason, they
• 38:52
Speaker 1: feared their reprisals or more sinister. Some of these people
• 38:57
Speaker 1: were just fellow travelers, folks. Maxwell spotted the sixteen year
• 39:05
Speaker 1: old Roberts from the street at former President Donald Trump's
• 39:08
Speaker 1: beach club mar A Lago, where Roberts worked at the SPA,
• 39:12
Speaker 1: and demanded that Alessi pull over. He waited in the convertible,
• 39:16
Speaker 1: sweating while Maxwell went into the club and persuaded Roberts
• 39:20
Speaker 1: to work at Epstein's as Epstein's traveling massus. It wasn'n enterprise,
• 39:26
Speaker 1: Alessi said, yeah, no shit, a criminal enterprise. And furthermore,
• 39:32
Speaker 1: all of this nonsense about oh it was a massage,
• 39:36
Speaker 1: it was for you know, a shit. They were being
• 39:39
Speaker 1: acting as a massous. This that the other thing. When
• 39:42
Speaker 1: you have the kind of money Jeffrey Epstein has, you
• 39:45
Speaker 1: know the people that Jeffrey Epstein knows, you have those connections.
• 39:50
Speaker 1: Do you really go and send your house lady out
• 39:55
Speaker 1: trolling the streets for sixteen year olds to come over
• 39:58
Speaker 1: and give you a massage? Or do you pay the
• 40:02
Speaker 1: top industry professional who has homed their craft for years
• 40:07
Speaker 1: and years and years and who is well respected amongst
• 40:10
Speaker 1: the other upper crust of the elite. We all know
• 40:16
Speaker 1: the answer to that. When you have big money like that,
• 40:18
Speaker 1: you go and get the best massage the people you know,
• 40:21
Speaker 1: whoever the massage, the messuse, who's working on the Lakers right,
• 40:27
Speaker 1: something like that, You don't send Keylane Maxwell out to
• 40:31
Speaker 1: troll the streets over Tomorrow Lago to find some little
• 40:35
Speaker 1: sixteen year old girl to abuse, to bring over to
• 40:38
Speaker 1: touch your disgusting ass harry chested, gross ass, disgusting looking boss.
• 40:44
Speaker 1: That's not normal behavior. And the fact that Alessi calls
• 40:51
Speaker 1: it an enterprise, that's just the cherry on top. We
• 40:55
Speaker 1: all know that this is a criminal enterprise. We all
• 40:58
Speaker 1: know that this is Rico worthy. Roberts told me she
• 41:04
Speaker 1: thought she had landed a dream job. Later that night,
• 41:07
Speaker 1: she says, her father dropped her off at Epstein's house
• 41:10
Speaker 1: for what she and other survivors have called the audition.
• 41:14
Speaker 1: I mean, it's chilling to think about Virginia's father dropping
• 41:19
Speaker 1: her off there for this interview, this audition, and then
• 41:25
Speaker 1: all of this unfolds afterwards. Imagine the burden her father
• 41:29
Speaker 1: must have. I can't even imagine what it would be
• 41:34
Speaker 1: like to know that you delivered your daughter basically to
• 41:40
Speaker 1: the den of this disgusting serpent. Now, obviously nobody knew, right.
• 41:47
Speaker 1: Who expected this lady with this high society British accent
• 41:53
Speaker 1: was going to deliver you to this monster? Nobody knew right,
• 41:57
Speaker 1: nobody understood as far as and these other young girls
• 42:02
Speaker 1: thought this was their break. They were finally gonna get
• 42:06
Speaker 1: a little chance to see how the other side lived.
• 42:11
Speaker 1: And instead they showed up and had those dreams crushed
• 42:15
Speaker 1: into dust under the heels of this sick bastard and
• 42:20
Speaker 1: Gilaine Maxwell. Roberts has said in court documents and interviews
• 42:27
Speaker 1: that Maxwell escorted her up the stairs to Epstein's room,
• 42:31
Speaker 1: where what began as a massage turned into Maxwell and
• 42:34
Speaker 1: Epstein coercing Roberts into sex acts. In court documents and
• 42:39
Speaker 1: in interviews, other survivors too, have said Maxwell participated in
• 42:43
Speaker 1: their abuse and sometimes photographed it. So again, we know
• 42:49
Speaker 1: that there was a large amount of photographs taken, we
• 42:53
Speaker 1: know that there was videos taken, and we know that
• 42:56
Speaker 1: Maxwell loved to take these pictures and photograph these girls,
• 43:01
Speaker 1: according to them. So my question is are these pictures
• 43:06
Speaker 1: going to be used as evidence in this trial? We
• 43:10
Speaker 1: know that there are explosive pictures, according to both parties.
• 43:18
Speaker 1: My question is how far are those pictures going to
• 43:23
Speaker 1: go to send Maxwell up the river? Because if there's
• 43:27
Speaker 1: pictures of her with miners, it's a wrap, folks, It's
• 43:31
Speaker 1: a foregone conclusion that this party is over for her
• 43:35
Speaker 1: and that the baloney sandwich train is just beginning. Maxwell
• 43:43
Speaker 1: came across as self possessed, her confidence, almost putting those
• 43:47
Speaker 1: around her at ease and You've all met people like that, right,
• 43:50
Speaker 1: someone who's charismatic, very confident, seems like they got the
• 43:54
Speaker 1: world by the oysters. We've all met people like that.
• 44:00
Speaker 1: And we've also met people who are very good at
• 44:03
Speaker 1: faking the funk, at making pretend that they're nice people,
• 44:10
Speaker 1: you know, wearing the face of a good person, only
• 44:16
Speaker 1: to see that face crack and reveal the true horror
• 44:20
Speaker 1: story beneath it. And that's what happened with somebody like Maxwell. Right.
• 44:24
Speaker 1: They put on a good air of appearance when you
• 44:29
Speaker 1: first meet them, they make you comfortable around them, They
• 44:31
Speaker 1: get you thinking that this is the way things go,
• 44:34
Speaker 1: and then before you know it, you're in the clutches
• 44:36
Speaker 1: of a disgusting, sick, depraved lunatic. Maria Farmer fifty one,
• 44:46
Speaker 1: worked for Epstein and Maxwell in the nineteen nineties, helping
• 44:49
Speaker 1: Epstein acquire art and greeting guests that is Manhattan Townhouse.
• 44:53
Speaker 1: She wrote in a twenty and nineteen Affidavid. She met
• 44:56
Speaker 1: Epstein at an art show where some of her work
• 44:59
Speaker 1: was on display. She told me that each day, when
• 45:03
Speaker 1: the bells chimed at the nearby prep school, Maxwell would
• 45:06
Speaker 1: call her to call her town car before she was
• 45:09
Speaker 1: leaving the house, she would get like all hysterical and go,
• 45:13
Speaker 1: I need to get new Biles, Farmer recalled in an interview.
• 45:17
Speaker 1: She said Maxwell would bring her Yorkshire terrier Max and
• 45:20
Speaker 1: they would circle the East seventies. When Maxwell spotted a teen,
• 45:25
Speaker 1: she would order the driver to pull over. And that
• 45:28
Speaker 1: sure does sound about right according to what Wuana Lessi
• 45:32
Speaker 1: says was going on. According Tojuana Lessi, he was doing
• 45:35
Speaker 1: the driving in Palm Beach. So why would they change
• 45:39
Speaker 1: their mo in New York? Once again, Maria's story ringing true.
• 45:48
Speaker 1: These people had a m they had a plan, They
• 45:53
Speaker 1: knew what they were doing, they knew what worked. They
• 45:56
Speaker 1: had success doing it elsewhere. Why would they change it
• 45:59
Speaker 1: in New York City, especially down in Manhattan where there's
• 46:03
Speaker 1: prep schools everywhere. You have Central Park, you have Columbus, Nay,
• 46:07
Speaker 1: you name it. Manhattan is the perfect hunting ground for
• 46:14
Speaker 1: these people. At the time, Maxwell and Epstein posed as
• 46:22
Speaker 1: model scouts. According to Farmer, it wasn't that far fetched.
• 46:26
Speaker 1: Victoria's secret owner, lest the crypt keeper Wexner, was Epstein's
• 46:31
Speaker 1: client and friend, but Epstein managed Wexner's money, not talent.
• 46:36
Speaker 1: Kilaane would say, you know, oh, I've got to get
• 46:39
Speaker 1: a model, got to get a Victoria's Secret model. Farmer said,
• 46:42
Speaker 1: I was dumb enough to believe it. I believed it
• 46:45
Speaker 1: until I didn't. She saw girls arriving at Epstein's home,
• 46:49
Speaker 1: she wrote in the affid David filed on behalf of
• 46:51
Speaker 1: one of Epstein's survivors, and she told me they usually
• 46:55
  Speaker 1: left distressed. I mean, I can't even imagine. Honestly, I can't.
• 47:02
Speaker 1: I am so glad that I grew up the way
• 47:06
Speaker 1: I grew up. You learn to be skeptical of people real,
• 47:10
Speaker 1: real fast. When you grow up in the inner city folks.
• 47:14
Speaker 1: You learn not to buy what mother efforts are selling
• 47:18
Speaker 1: real early in the inner city folks, and you understand
• 47:22
Speaker 1: that everybody has a lick, everybody has a hustle. The
• 47:27
Speaker 1: idea is to recognize what that hustle is, what that
• 47:30
Speaker 1: lick is, and either A get the hell out of
• 47:34
Speaker 1: the way if it's going to be disastrous, or B
• 47:39
Speaker 1: hell you might want to get in on that lick.
• 47:44
  Speaker 1: That's the way it works. So I can't even I
• 47:49
Speaker 1: can't even imagine. So for me growing up where I
• 47:54
Speaker 1: grew up, forget it. I'm skeptical of everything and of everybody.
• 48:01
  Speaker 1: So I am just I'm again, I'm thankful that I
• 48:05
Speaker 1: grew up in the inner city because the life lessons
• 48:08
Speaker 1: you learn growing up like that are just so valuable
• 48:14
Speaker 1: later on in life when you're dealing with scuz bags
• 48:17
Speaker 1: or people trying to hustle you, or you know, any
• 48:20
Speaker 1: of that. Jazz Farmer has her own story about Maxwell
• 48:30
Speaker 1: as well. In her Affidavid, she accused Maxwell and Epstein
• 48:34
Speaker 1: of sexually assaulting her in nineteen ninety six. Afterwards, she wrote,
• 48:38
Speaker 1: they threatened her and cut her off from art related opportunities.
• 48:43
Speaker 1: She said her career and life were ruined, and look,
• 48:46
Speaker 1: let's be real. Maria has been very clear with her
• 48:49
Speaker 1: story and what she has talked about in regards to
• 48:52
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein. I've had Maria on the podcast twice. You
• 48:56
Speaker 1: can go and check out those interviews with her here
• 48:59
Speaker 1: on the podcast. She's been on way bigger platforms, you know,
• 49:05
Speaker 1: with Whitney Webb and other people. So if you're interested
• 49:09
Speaker 1: in finding those interviews with Maria here on my show
• 49:12
Speaker 1: or elsewhere, they are very accessible. Maxwell and Epstein's relationship
• 49:21
Speaker 1: eventually shifted from romantic to practical again, I think that
• 49:26
Speaker 1: it was practical the whole time. I don't think romance
• 49:29
Speaker 1: ever played a part at all. She remained on his
• 49:33
Speaker 1: payroll and continue to work for him even after they
• 49:36
Speaker 1: broke up again. Could be part of that cover story. Look,
• 49:40
Speaker 1: that's just my assumption I'm working on, right, But it
• 49:42
Speaker 1: could be part of that cover story with them being
• 49:46
Speaker 1: you know, oh we're together, but now we're broke up,
• 49:49
Speaker 1: and you know how it works. In two thousand, Epstein
• 49:58
Speaker 1: gave her a two million townhouse on the Upper east
• 50:02
Speaker 1: Side along the way. She reportedly introduced him to many
• 50:06
Speaker 1: of the influential people in his rolodex. So it definitely
• 50:11
Speaker 1: was a too pronged assault with Epstein and Maxwell. Right,
• 50:17
Speaker 1: it would be Maxwell to open up the doors with
• 50:19
Speaker 1: her Oxford education. We know that the brutish ass Epstein
• 50:23
Speaker 1: could have done that. So it was her to open
• 50:26
Speaker 1: up the doors with that Oxford education, getting people comfortable
• 50:30
Speaker 1: with her. You know, oh, this is Robert Maxwell's daughter,
• 50:34
Speaker 1: blah blah blah, blah blah blah. So that opened the
• 50:38
Speaker 1: door for the social circles for Epstein. Meanwhile, Gelan Maxwell
• 50:44
Speaker 1: was able to piggyback on Epstein's wealth, right, it was
• 50:47
Speaker 1: all part of the plan, in my opinion, And when
• 50:51
Speaker 1: you look at everything, you look at Giln Maxwell's dad
• 50:55
Speaker 1: and Jeffrey Epstein and how all of this came about,
• 50:59
Speaker 1: it's hard not to think that there was more here
• 51:03
Speaker 1: than just Oh, boy meets girl, girl meets boy boy
• 51:08
Speaker 1: and girl fall in love. We don't have an Upper
• 51:12
Speaker 1: West Side love story here, of folks. What we have
• 51:17
Speaker 1: is something more like the show the Americans. In my opinion,
• 51:23
Speaker 1: to date, Maxwell is the only one of Epstein's associates
• 51:26
Speaker 1: who has faced criminal charges in the United States, And
• 51:29
Speaker 1: that's an absolute travesty, right a dereliction of justice, a
• 51:33
Speaker 1: dereliction of duty, and the federal courts, the justice system,
• 51:39
Speaker 1: they should all be ashamed of themselves. All of these
• 51:43
Speaker 1: people who participated should be facing RICO charges right now.
• 51:48
Speaker 1: Why is R Kelly facing RICO charges but not Jeffrey
• 51:51
Speaker 1: Epstein's people. Why's Keith ray Neery and the dirt bags
• 51:57
Speaker 1: from Nexium facing RICO charges but not the remnants of
• 52:03
Speaker 1: Epstein's criminal organization. What's the difference? What makes Gelaane Maxwell
• 52:11
Speaker 1: so special? What makes the Jeffrey Epstein criminal enterprise so special?
• 52:23
Speaker 1: On July second, she was arrested by the Southern District
• 52:26
Speaker 1: of New York on six charges relating to conspiring with
• 52:29
Speaker 1: Epstein to sexually abuse miners, as well as perjury for
• 52:33
Speaker 1: sworn statements made as part of Robert's lawsuit, which ended
• 52:37
Speaker 1: in a settlement. And it's funny too, because Maxwell's you
• 52:42
Speaker 1: know people's they like to come out and say, well,
• 52:44
Speaker 1: Maxwell has never even been found guilty in a civil suit. Well,
• 52:48
Speaker 1: that's because she settled out of court. Okay, I mean,
• 52:53
Speaker 1: do you think we're stupid? We know what it means. Okay,
• 52:57
Speaker 1: we know what all of that means. She wasn't found
• 53:02
Speaker 1: culpable or liable in the civil suit because it never
• 53:05
Speaker 1: got to that point because she and her lawyers understood
• 53:10
Speaker 1: her goose was cooked, so you might as well just
• 53:13
Speaker 1: come out of the pocket now and save everybody of
• 53:15
Speaker 1: the trouble. In March, she faced new charges of sex
• 53:23
Speaker 1: trafficking a minor for Epstein and paying her Maxwell is
• 53:27
Speaker 1: pleaded not guilty and now is awaiting her trial, which
• 53:31
Speaker 1: is scheduled for November. So you see why her legal
• 53:35
Speaker 1: team went so hard in the paint on the bail situation, right,
• 53:38
Speaker 1: You see why they were going so hard to get
• 53:40
Speaker 1: her bailed out. They knew that they were gonna have
• 53:44
Speaker 1: to ask for this continuation. They knew that this trial
• 53:47
Speaker 1: was gonna get bumped back, and they expected more charges.
• 53:51
Speaker 1: Come on, you mean to tell me they didn't expect
• 53:53
Speaker 1: a superseded indictment. And if that's the case, and her
• 53:57
Speaker 1: lawyers weren't prepared for that, or they weren't expecting that,
• 54:00
Speaker 1: maybe it's time to find some new lawyers, because anyone
• 54:06
Speaker 1: with a brain in their head can take a look
• 54:08
Speaker 1: at the evidence here and see that there was a
• 54:12
Speaker 1: ton of it and that your client is going to
• 54:17
Speaker 1: be hard pressed to find any defense, any ground that
• 54:20
Speaker 1: is defensible, because her position right now is untenable. Folks.
• 54:27
Speaker 1: There is no way from where I'm sitting that she
• 54:31
Speaker 1: can beat these charges. The evidence is a mile high.
• 54:38
Speaker 1: As part of her statement sent to Politico just before
• 54:41
Speaker 1: the newer charges came out, her brother Ian Maxwell said,
• 54:45
Speaker 1: Keilaine is looking forward to a fair trial where she
• 54:48
Speaker 1: fully expects to be exonerated. All right, I mean, I
• 54:53
Speaker 1: guess that has to be kind of the outlook you
• 54:57
Speaker 1: have if you're Maxwell or her family at this point, right,
• 55:00
Speaker 1: you can't just be sitting there saying Oh yeah, well
• 55:02
Speaker 1: that's it. That's it. She's going to jail, you know,
• 55:05
Speaker 1: the saying right, in for a penny, in for a pound,
• 55:08
Speaker 1: And that's what the Maxwell family, that's where they're at
• 55:11
Speaker 1: at this point. They've thrown their chips down on the table.
• 55:15
Speaker 1: They're all in with defending their family member. And I
• 55:20
Speaker 1: don't know if it's simply to try and protect the
• 55:25
Speaker 1: family name for whatever that's worth, or if they truly
• 55:29
Speaker 1: believe that she's innocent. You never know what to believe
• 55:32
Speaker 1: with people like this, what their motivations are. This isn't
• 55:36
Speaker 1: like a loving family like what we come from, right,
• 55:39
Speaker 1: you know, hanging out with your dad growing up, maybe
• 55:43
Speaker 1: holding the flashlight for him. Well he's you know, working
• 55:46
Speaker 1: on the car engine, helping him paint the house, whatever
• 55:49
Speaker 1: it is. This is not the same thing the way
• 55:53
Speaker 1: that they grew up. So I don't you know, I
• 55:59
Speaker 1: find it hard to believe that there is some kind
• 56:02
Speaker 1: of like deep familial familial family bond here where it's
• 56:08
Speaker 1: keeping them locked together arm in arm as they defend Glaine. Here.
• 56:17
Speaker 1: According to her brother, they really didn't have a relationship
• 56:20
Speaker 1: through all of those years, So how does he or
• 56:23
Speaker 1: the rest of the family know what she was up to,
• 56:26
Speaker 1: know what her and Jeffrey Epstein were up to. They don't.
• 56:30
Speaker 1: All they're going on is what she's telling them. And
• 56:34
Speaker 1: I think they're going to be in for quite the
• 56:36
Speaker 1: rude awakening in November. And I mean, with the money
• 56:41
Speaker 1: that they're paying for that legal team, you'd expect some results,
• 56:44
Speaker 1: right if you were Maxwell and her family. The meter
• 56:47
Speaker 1: is running, you got to expect those lawyers are costing
• 56:51
Speaker 1: thousands of dollars per hour. Then you have to add
• 56:54
Speaker 1: on the experts. Then you add on the experts who
• 56:57
Speaker 1: check the experts work, and you know how it goes.
• 57:00
Speaker 1: Before you know, you're talking millions and millions of dollars
• 57:02
Speaker 1: to fight a federal case. So we know that Gilay
• 57:06
Speaker 1: Maxwell's legal team is loving this. And the longer this goes,
• 57:10
Speaker 1: the more drawn out it is, the better off they are. Right. Meanwhile,
• 57:15
Speaker 1: you got Maxwell who is basically rotting away right now
• 57:19
Speaker 1: in that jail cell and paying out money hand over
• 57:24
Speaker 1: fist for what I believe is just an eventuality. At
• 57:28
Speaker 1: this point, there's no stopping the train that's coming down
• 57:31
Speaker 1: these tracks, folks. From where I'm sitting, the evidence is clear,
• 57:40
Speaker 1: and that's just the evidence that we have. Can you
• 57:42
Speaker 1: imagine what they have behind the scenes to paste onto
• 57:45
Speaker 1: this lady. I can't even begin to think about how
• 57:52
Speaker 1: much evidence has been compiled over the years. The question
• 57:58
Speaker 1: really becomes, like usual, how far and how hard are
• 58:03
Speaker 1: the prosecutors going to go? In my opinion, they need
• 58:10
Speaker 1: to go all the way. This is not a case
• 58:13
Speaker 1: to half step. This is not a case to give
• 58:16
Speaker 1: a little bit of breathing room to the defendant. This
• 58:21
Speaker 1: is a throw the book at them, toss away the key,
• 58:26
Speaker 1: and bury them under the prison once convicted kind of case.
• 58:30
Speaker 1: And I hope that's what the prosecutors are angling for.
• 58:33
Speaker 1: And I hope when they show up into that courtroom
• 58:36
Speaker 1: when this trial starts, that they got a lot of
• 58:39
Speaker 1: bulldog in them. I don't want no half step in.
• 58:44
Speaker 1: I don't want no nonsense. I want the federal government
• 58:47
Speaker 1: at its finest scumbaggery levels. Every trick in the book,
• 58:52
Speaker 1: I want them to use it, every single underhanded tactic
• 58:57
Speaker 1: that they use against poor people every single day in
• 59:00
Speaker 1: the federal court system. I want them to use those
• 59:03
Speaker 1: same tactics against Maxwell. Those are the rules, right, of course,
• 59:10
Speaker 1: I want those rules all change. That's a different topic, however.
• 59:13
Speaker 1: But the rules that we have right here in front
• 59:15
Speaker 1: of us, well, those are the rules that are gonna
• 59:18
Speaker 1: govern this game. Gielane, Maxwell and all of your rich friends,
• 59:23
Speaker 1: all of your buddies, all of your powerful allies who
• 59:26
Speaker 1: put these rules on the books mainly to screw poor people. Well,
• 59:30
Speaker 1: now you're about to get a little taste, and it
• 59:34
Speaker 1: sure seems like you don't like the shit sandwich. There's
• 59:40
Speaker 1: no dispute among Epstein's survivors about the role they believe
• 59:43
Speaker 1: Maxwell played. Some even told me they feel more betrayed
• 59:47
Speaker 1: by Maxwell than by Epstein because she was the one
• 59:50
Speaker 1: who recruited them in the first place. Yeah. I mean,
• 59:53
Speaker 1: you gotta imagine the broken trust. You got somebody who
• 59:59
Speaker 1: is supposedly trustworthy, who comes off as like this really educated,
• 1:00:05
Speaker 1: well spoken person, and then you have these girls from broken,
• 1:00:09
Speaker 1: disadvantaged backgrounds, from homes where you know, the parents are
• 1:00:13
Speaker 1: struggling just to keep their head above water. They meet
• 1:00:18
Speaker 1: this lady and all of a sudden, they're like, Wow,
• 1:00:21
Speaker 1: we made it. This is our big chance. We have
• 1:00:24
Speaker 1: a chance to make some money here. You know, two
• 1:00:27
Speaker 1: or three hundred bucks doesn't sound like a lot of
• 1:00:28
Speaker 1: money to us. But to these girls, that's a ton
• 1:00:31
Speaker 1: of dough. That's what their parents were making in a week.
• 1:00:35
Speaker 1: You mean to tell me you're gonna give me three
• 1:00:37
Speaker 1: hundred bucks to come give this guy a massage. Hell,
• 1:00:39
Speaker 1: I'm in. And when you have somebody like Elaane Maxwell
• 1:00:45
Speaker 1: assusing your feelings, massaging the way you feel about things,
• 1:00:48
Speaker 1: guiding you towards Jeffrey Epstein's web telling you that it's normal. Oh,
• 1:00:53
Speaker 1: this is okay, this is how the other the other
• 1:00:55
Speaker 1: side lives, this is what rich people do. How are
• 1:00:59
Speaker 1: these this young girl's supposed to know any better. They
• 1:01:02
Speaker 1: don't have the life experience to rely on. They can't
• 1:01:06
Speaker 1: just pull it out of their toolbox and say, oh,
• 1:01:08
Speaker 1: I've seen this situation before. I know exactly what's going on.
• 1:01:14
Speaker 1: So I could totally see why these girls would feel
• 1:01:17
Speaker 1: way more betrayed by Geelain Maxwell, and why a lot

Speaker 1: of these survivors want Maxwell to face the maximum amount
• 1:01:25
Speaker 1: of justice that's possible. Put yourself in their shoes. She
• 1:01:37
Speaker 1: would be able to figure out what it was that
• 1:01:39
Speaker 1: a possible survivor wanted or needed, Roberts said. And because
• 1:01:43
Speaker 1: she looked like a nice Mary Poppins figure, you kind
• 1:01:46
Speaker 1: of trusted her, and that all goes to it right
• 1:01:49
Speaker 1: one hundred percent. Somebody is well spoken, somebody comes off
• 1:01:53
Speaker 1: as if they're from the upper crust. They act like,
• 1:01:56
Speaker 1: you know, with an air of a thort. It's easy
• 1:02:02
Speaker 1: for people who've never been around that to be sucked
• 1:02:05
Speaker 1: in by that scam, by that plot, by that ploy.
• 1:02:11
Speaker 1: Maxwell was the snake oil salesman, folks. She was good
• 1:02:14
Speaker 1: at her trade. For all of her scumbaggery, for all
• 1:02:18
Speaker 1: of her nonsense, she had the charisma that was needed
• 1:02:23
Speaker 1: for somebody in her role in this kind of criminal operation.
• 1:02:29
Speaker 1: She would suck them in, make them calm, and then
• 1:02:33
Speaker 1: Epstein would come in for the kill. And then afterwards
• 1:02:37
Speaker 1: Maxwell would scruise right back in or in some cases
• 1:02:42
Speaker 1: that like some of these girls alleged to be there
• 1:02:44
Speaker 1: at the same time and helping with the abuse. And
• 1:02:47
Speaker 1: then afterwards she'd come in with her pretty words, her
• 1:02:49
Speaker 1: flowery language, her Mary Poppins like attitude, and massage everything
• 1:02:56
Speaker 1: and let the girls know, oh, this is just the
• 1:02:58
Speaker 1: way it goes, that's what we do here. And then
• 1:03:03
Speaker 1: once that happened, the first time they were sucked in
• 1:03:06
Speaker 1: and the cycle began, she could care less about who
• 1:03:12
Speaker 1: we were, what happened to us in the past. Roberts
• 1:03:15
Speaker 1: continued as long as it benefited her. And I think
• 1:03:19
Speaker 1: that's the most best I shouldn't even say most, the
• 1:03:24
Speaker 1: best way to explain Gilay Maxwell and the rest of
• 1:03:27
Speaker 1: these people. They don't care about you. They don't care
• 1:03:31
Speaker 1: about your kids, your children, your life, your goals, your dreams,
• 1:03:36
Speaker 1: none of it. They care about consolidating power. They care
• 1:03:41
Speaker 1: about moving their plots down the field. And for the
• 1:03:47
Speaker 1: most part, we're just in the way. If we're not
• 1:03:50
Speaker 1: there to wash their dishes or drive their cars, or
• 1:03:53
Speaker 1: clip their lawn, or give them a haircut, or cook
• 1:03:57
Speaker 1: their food or any other anial position that you could imagine,
• 1:04:02
Speaker 1: then we're just in their way, or we're extra mouths
• 1:04:05
Speaker 1: to feed that need to be sent to some endless war.
• 1:04:12
Speaker 1: And that's how they look at people on the grand scale,
• 1:04:16
Speaker 1: never mind on the micro on the one on one,
• 1:04:19
Speaker 1: when we're talking about girls like this that Gilaine Maxwell
• 1:04:23
Speaker 1: is attempting to groom, attempting to bring into Jeffrey Epstein's web.
• 1:04:31
Speaker 1: Maxwell played a huge part in what went on here, folks,
• 1:04:35
Speaker 1: and all of these survivors that have come out and
• 1:04:37
Speaker 1: said it all of the evidence that has been presented
• 1:04:41
Speaker 1: thus far, and all of the evidence that has yet
• 1:04:45
Speaker 1: to be brought out in the public, well, all of
• 1:04:49
Speaker 1: that is going to be brought forward come November, and
• 1:04:55
Speaker 1: Gilaine Maxwell, her legal team, and those defending her are
• 1:05:02
Speaker 1: going to look pretty stupid in my opinion. All Right, folks,
• 1:05:11
Speaker 1: That concludes part two of the political article by Tara
• 1:05:18
Speaker 1: Paul Mary about the women who enabled Jeffrey Epstein. In
• 1:05:25
Speaker 1: part three, we're going to dive into the assistance and
