- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. Over the past twenty four hours, the House
- 0:08Oversight Committee has released the transcript from their interview with
- 0:11Bill Gates and with Leslie Groff, and now that we
- 0:14have access to both of those transcripts, we'll get those
- 0:17added to the catalog as well. And my plan is
- 0:20to dive into the Bill Gates transcript as soon as
- 0:23we're done with Tovin O weel and we're pretty close
- 0:25to wrapping that one up. We don't have much further
- 0:28to go as far as that interview, so as soon
- 0:31as that one's done, we'll get started on the Bill
- 0:34Gates transcript and then after that we'll dive right into
- 0:38Leslie Groff. But before we dive into those transcripts, we
- 0:42have an article from CNN and the headline Gates says
- 0:46he didn't witness crimes, but may have been in the
- 0:48presence of Epstein victims. This article was authored by Annie
- 0:53Grayer and Olina Fayes. Billionaire Bill Gates testify that he
- 0:59never interacts did with victims of Jeffrey Epstein, but acknowledge
- 1:03that he may have been in their presence. According to
- 1:05a transcript of his closed door interview with the House
- 1:08Oversight Committee, released on Tuesday. Well, there's no doubt. If
- 1:13you're going to consider Sarah Kellen a victim, and you're
- 1:17going to consider Nadia Marsenkova a victim, then there's no
- 1:20doubt that Bill Gates was in their presence and around them.
- 1:24Of course, that doesn't mean that Bill Gates was partaking
- 1:27in the abuse, but it does mean that Bill Gates
- 1:32knew a lot more than he let on, and who
- 1:34knows what kind of information he had that could have
- 1:37been helpful to an investigation. You don't come forward the
- 1:40second a guy like that gets arrested, even if you
- 1:44make pretend you didn't know previously. He gets arrested in
- 1:47twenty nineteen, and you don't have your legal team reach
- 1:50out right away to the FBI and say, look, I
- 1:52had a relationship with him, but I didn't see anything crazy.
- 1:57I'd love to come in and talk to you guys
- 1:58and see if there's anything I need know that might
- 2:01help out. I mean, that would be the decent thing
- 2:03to do, right and I'm sure most people out there
- 2:05would do that. You find out, like you know, a
- 2:08coworker or a friend is under investigation or has been
- 2:12arrested for this kind of thing, and the first thing
- 2:16I'm going to be thinking is what do I know?
- 2:19Did I ever see anything crazy? Can I help the investigation?
- 2:24But people like Bill Gates instead, he went the opposite direction, right,
- 2:28lied about it, tried to downplay it, tried to whitewash it.
- 2:32But this day and age, with how quickly everything moves,
- 2:35social media and otherwise very difficult to do. You can
- 2:39only hide things for so long, especially when you have
- 2:43all of this attention on the topic. And it's one
- 2:45of the main reasons that I have no remorse for
- 2:47these people. This isn't something that you know, just showed
- 2:52up and has become a problem for them. They've known
- 2:55about their relationships with Epstein for all these years, and
- 3:00the vast majority of these people lied about it. The
- 3:04Microsoft co founder maintained in the voluntary interview which took
- 3:08place on Capitol Hill earlier this month, that his three
- 3:12year relationship with a convicted sex offender was strictly professional
- 3:16and that he never witnessed or participated in any sexual misconduct.
- 3:21And again, look, there's no evidence of that. Nobody's making
- 3:25those allegations. The problem for Bill Gates is the fact
- 3:29that he lied about that relationship. So of course that
- 3:32makes people wonder what else are you lying about? And
- 3:36just because we don't have evidence of it doesn't mean
- 3:39something else didn't happen, Right, That's why we have to
- 3:42have an investigation. And when you get caught up with
- 3:46somebody like Jeffrey Epstein, don't come crying to me that
- 3:49you're swept up in some vast investigation where they're looking
- 3:54at your behavior and if you were engaging in any
- 3:57kind of abuse. Fellow Travelers and all but Democratic Representative
- 4:03Robert Garcia pointed that the panel's investigation has shown that
- 4:07some of Epstein's employees were also abused by the late financier,
- 4:12making it difficult for Gates to rule out that he
- 4:14was never around any of Epstein's victims. Well, that's true,
- 4:18and that goes for everybody. Now, the defense is going
- 4:22to be they didn't know, they had no idea what
- 4:24was going on. They thought they were just Jeffrey Epstein's assistants.
- 4:29Because there's no talk, right, there's no scuttle, but nobody
- 4:33has anything to say out of the side of their mouth.
- 4:37That's a very good point, said Gates, who acknowledged he
- 4:40saw some of Epstein's female employees at the end of
- 4:43a meeting on one of Epstein's planes. He added, I
- 4:46may have been in the presence of victims, not may
- 4:50have been. You were, And even if you just think
- 4:52that you were around people who were being trafficked, that's
- 4:56something that you should be telling the authorities. All right, Look,
- 5:00I didn't know then, but I know now, and this
- 5:03is what I saw, this is when I saw it,
- 5:05and this is where I saw it. But instead it
- 5:09has to be this whole entire circus, right Congress, etc.
- 5:14Bill Gates could have easily held a press conference years
- 5:18ago and cleaned this all up, or at the very
- 5:22least explained his relationship, but instead he justled and the
- 5:27legacy media, well they ran with it. Oh. Bill Gates
- 5:31is such a great guy. He's trying to cure malaria.
- 5:33He would never do something like that. It's a vast
- 5:36right wing conspiracy. Yeah, well guess what is it? Still
- 5:40a vast right wing conspiracy. As part of the Oversight
- 5:44Committee's ongoing probe, the Panels saught Gates testimony after the
- 5:48release of additional Epstein files by the Justice Department this
- 5:51year raised questions about his ties to the late convicted
- 5:55sex offender. Well, if you would have just paid attention
- 5:58years ago, when we all told you what was going
- 6:00going on, maybe Epstein would have been held to account,
- 6:03maybe the people that enabled them would have been called
- 6:05out onto the carpet. But everybody was way too busy
- 6:09when this story was breaking to actually give a damn.
- 6:14And we're not going to engage in any revisionist history
- 6:17here and give people credit for showing up late to
- 6:20the party. I mean, where were all these people out
- 6:22when Virginia was begging for people to listen to her.
- 6:25Where were all these big gigantic media outlets when the
- 6:29survivors were coming out telling their stories and being absolutely trashed.
- 6:33The thing is, this wasn't profitable back then, so they
- 6:37had no desire to report on it, and they also
- 6:40didn't want to out their buddies. I mean, remember what
- 6:43Nancy Pelosi's own daughter said that some of our faves
- 6:47are going to be outed, And there's no doubt that
- 6:51some of the faves have been outed. The panel also
- 6:55Tuesday released the transcript of Epstein's longtime assistant Leslie Groff,
- 6:59who characterized her former boss as a master and manipulator,
- 7:03and said she did not know about his crimes. Groff
- 7:06revealed that she connected Epstein and President Donald Trump, then
- 7:09a private citizen, on the phone multiple times over a
- 7:12period of ten years, but said she did not know
- 7:15the content of those conversations. Trump has long denied any
- 7:20wrongdoing related to Epstein, as well as any allegations of
- 7:24sexual misconduct. Well, I'm sure he'll deny the phone calls too. Oh,
- 7:29that didn't happen. He called my office. I didn't want
- 7:32to talk to him. We were never friends. You know,
- 7:35the same old song and dance we get all the time.
- 7:38And then you'll have James Calmer coming out, drooling and
- 7:42just going along with whatever the president says. CNN has
- 7:47reached out to representatives for Gates and Graff for comment.
- 7:51In his interview, Gates laid out how Epstein attempted to
- 7:53use information about the Microsoft co founder's personal life, including
- 7:58that he had been unfaithful in his marriage, to pressure him. Yeah, blackmail,
- 8:03compromitt But I thought Cash Ptel said that didn't happen
- 8:08and none of that existed. Could it be that Cash
- 8:11Patel is lying? Could that possibly be the case. Now, look,
- 8:16I'm not hip to the you know, ancient Scandinavian religion
- 8:20of a sartu or whatever it's called. But do you
- 8:23get to Valhalla if you're lying? I wonder how Odin
- 8:27feels about people that protect diddlers. My guess is they're
- 8:32going to have a date with Thores Hammer, That's my guess.
- 8:37But having the audacity to get up there and try
- 8:39and tell people that there was no blackmail, no compromont,
- 8:42that none of that occurred, is just straight up lunacy.
- 8:49After he cut ties with Epstein in twenty fourteen, Gates
- 8:52were called one instance in which Epstein emailed asking for
- 8:55reimbursement for expenses Epstein had paid for related to a
- 8:59woman Gate had an affair with. Why would Epstein be
- 9:02paying for those expenses? That seems like a good question
- 9:06to ask. No, Bill Gates can't front the bill short
- 9:11on dough. Uncle Funzelo is in town? Does he have
- 9:17short arms and deep pockets? What's going on? Why is
- 9:23it that Jeffrey Epstein's involved in any way when it
- 9:26comes to Bill Gates's love life? These are very simple
- 9:30questions and we have no answers for them. And this testimony.
- 9:36I don't think it really provides the answers that we're
- 9:38looking for. I communicated to my key person, top person
- 9:44at Gates Ventures, Larry Cohen, that we were never going
- 9:47to pay anything. Gates testified. Gates was introduced to Epstein
- 9:52in twenty eleven through one of his most trusted employees,
- 9:55doctor Boris Nikolic, whom Gates believes told Epstein about two
- 10:00of the extra marital affairs behind closed doors. Investigators press
- 10:04Gates about other potential affairs, arguing it was relevant to
- 10:08determine whether Gates had any other ties to the convicted
- 10:12sex offender, but Gates and his legal team pushed back, Yeah,
- 10:15it's a voluntary interview. Refer to the last episode and
- 10:21why the voluntary interviews and the whole process is a
- 10:24bunch of bs. The tech billionaire pointed specifically to the
- 10:29draft emails that Epstein appears to have written to himself
- 10:32in twenty thirteen that include a series of graphic, unverified
- 10:36allegations against Gates, and argued that Epstein would have mentioned
- 10:40other affairs there, or maybe not, maybe he was holding
- 10:44some back. You don't just launch your whole entire salvo
- 10:48right away, right do the Gruccies fire off all the
- 10:51fireworks at the beginning, or do that wait for the
- 10:55end and then launch everything in a grand finale. I
- 10:59think that Epstein, when he was writing emails to himself,
- 11:02took every potential negative thing he knew, and some that
- 11:05are completely false, and he put those into draft emails
- 11:08to himself. Gates said. And so I think if in
- 11:11some weird way he discovered anything negative to say about me,
- 11:15he would have seen that in the emails that he
- 11:17sent to himself. Yeah, I don't buy that. Nice excuse,
- 11:20but I don't buy it. Okay, Sorry, Billy boy Gates.
- 11:26In the stream of conscious notes riddled with typos and vitriol,
- 11:29which Gates has stated or false, Epstein appears to claim
- 11:33he facilitated sexual encounters four Gates and helped him obtain
- 11:37medication to hide and his sexually transmitted infection from his wife. Look,
- 11:43I don't know if that's true. Could it be for sure?
- 11:48I mean Bill Gates has the ability to keep that hidden.
- 11:51A few palms greased here, a few bags dropped off there,
- 11:55and everything's all good. In his closed door interview, Gates
- 11:59said that he never had an STD, but that it's possible.
- 12:02He communicated to Nikolch that he was worried that he
- 12:05might have had one. Oh boy, I bet who he
- 12:09had one. He probably had the clap or something. I mean,
- 12:12if you're out here and you're doing what he was
- 12:15doing allegedly with all these affairs, is it that big
- 12:19of Elipe? Upon meeting Epstein in twenty eleven, Gate said
- 12:24he was aware of the financier had a criminal conviction
- 12:27that was of a sexual nature, but still said he
- 12:30was interested in pursuing a professional relationship with Epstein, who
- 12:34claimed he could raise billions of dollars for global health.
- 12:38Ah well, you know, global health and all to help
- 12:40with the girls that were abused, to hell with the
- 12:42people that had their lives ruined, because you know, he
- 12:45can raise some money. To this day, Gate said he
- 12:49wishes he had not ignored Epstein's bad reputation in pursuit
- 12:52of philanthropic opportunity that never came to fruition. Even though
- 12:56Epstein tried to invite him to the island or social functions,
- 13:00Gates said he was conscious not to cross that threshold
- 13:04because of Epstein's criminal conviction. Oh well, I'll pander to
- 13:07him for some money. And I'll show up like a beggar,
- 13:10but I'm not going to go to his island. Save it, okay,
- 13:14please save the bullshit. I have regret that I didn't
- 13:17factor that into a greater degree, Gates testified. Gates also
- 13:21said that he finds it confusing how Epstein was able
- 13:24to accumulate his wealth, and noted that Epstein's New York
- 13:27City apartment was one of the most spacious homes in
- 13:30Manhattan he has ever seen. Yeah, well, no shit, and
- 13:35we all know how he got his money. Stop. Can
- 13:38we just stop with the nonsense? Please dancing around the edges.
- 13:42This man gained all that money and kept it growing
- 13:45by laundering it, and not just for himself, for all
- 13:49of his buddies too. You know all these people that
- 13:51you want to have empathy for, Yeah, those people. Gates said.
- 13:56He also voluntarily cooperated with the Attorney General of the
- 13:59US Verse, Jann Islands, by sitting for an interview and
- 14:02providing some financial documents, though he did not specify when
- 14:06that was. During the Denise, George moved to try and
- 14:09get the sicco suit going, and that was in pursuit
- 14:13of that graft. Meanwhile, is one of the most notable
- 14:17members of the late financiers in her orbit to speak
- 14:20to Congress as part of his Epstein investigation. A ubiquitous
- 14:24assistant who helped manage every aspect of Epstein's life, from
- 14:28scheduling massages to appointments with women to meetings with powerful individuals,
- 14:34as evidenced in the Justice departments millions of Epstein files.
- 14:38But Graff's denials that she had any knowledge about Epstein's
- 14:42wrongdoing was immediately met with condemnation from survivors. And I
- 14:46agree with that too. Now, Leslie Groff, I don't think
- 14:51was engaging in abuse, but she enabled it. She was
- 14:56a co conspirator. And if she was setting up phone
- 14:59calls and she was, you know, providing logistics, then she's
- 15:03part of the regal operation. The whole entire point of
- 15:06RICO is to go after shit like this. Groff said
- 15:12she believed that everyone she scheduled Epstein for a massage
- 15:15was a massage therapist, and said that she considered it
- 15:18to be an independent contractor type of situation. Of course
- 15:22she did. What's she going to incriminate herself? Oh yeah,
- 15:25I knew I did it. Anyway, She testified that she
- 15:28stopped regularly booking these massage appointments for Epstein in two
- 15:32thousand and eight, when he served about a year in
- 15:34jail in Florida. But Democrats on the committee looked at
- 15:37poll holes in that assertion by pointing to other appointments
- 15:41after two thousand and eight that Grof booked for Epstein. Grof,
- 15:45in defense of booking appointments for Epstein even after his
- 15:49first incarceration, told lawmakers, I would not have known that
- 15:52this was a massage. I don't know. You're assuming that
- 15:55I would think it was a massage, but I did
- 15:57not think of it as a massage. I don't believe that.
- 16:00I'm sorry, I don't believe it, and I don't think
- 16:02a jury would either, honestly, So she had no idea,
- 16:06just a shrinking violet. Stop it. That is a bunch
- 16:11of nonsense. Leslie Groff knew, maybe not all of the
- 16:15granular details, but you would have to be very, very
- 16:19stupid to not understand what was going on. And I
- 16:22have a very hard time believing that narrative. I'm sorry,
- 16:25but I don't believe it. You were around him so often,
- 16:29with so many people for so long, you knew or
- 16:32at the very least you have heard that some bad
- 16:34shit was going on, and you stayed. You continued to
- 16:38book massages, you continued to remain quiet, and you continued
- 16:42to look the other way. And we all know why.
- 16:44Financial benefit. That's why. So as far as Leslie Groff goes,
- 16:49I don't buy a thing she has to say. And
- 16:51Bill Gates, well, it was only a matter of time
- 16:54before he was outed as the liar he is because
- 16:58the facts were there. We have heard all these stories
- 17:00for years, but now we have the confirmation with the emails,
- 17:04and Bill Gates can no longer deny it. That is
- 17:06the only reason he's admitting it. In a perfect world
- 17:13for Bill Gates, he would have been able to continue
- 17:16to deny this until the end of time. But now
- 17:19that the files are there for everybody to see, now
- 17:22he has to change up the strategy. Right. Oh well,
- 17:25I knew, but I didn't know the full extent. And
- 17:27that's going to be the defense from all these people.
- 17:30That's what they're going to say. The question is are
- 17:35you buying it? All the information that goes with this
- 17:39episode can be found in the description box.
