- 0:00Speaker 1: I was thinking about something earlier. Today, I've tried to
- 0:10Speaker 1: think about would have been the most valuable things in
- 0:12Speaker 1: my life? And if you think about it, man, I
- 0:16Speaker 1: was watching something online and it was talking about a
- 0:21Speaker 1: man what he was willing to sacrifice greatly for and
- 0:30Speaker 1: what it came down to. The guy posed the questions,
- 0:33Speaker 1: what are you willing to die for? Or who would
- 0:37Speaker 1: you die for? And that's a striking question. And if
- 0:43Speaker 1: you ask yourself that question and you can't think of
- 0:46Speaker 1: anybody or nothing you would die for, I want to
- 0:50Speaker 1: suggest something to you. You have to start reaching for
- 0:53Speaker 1: something of value. Sooner or later, you've got to start
- 0:58Speaker 1: attaching yourself to something and that's greater than you, because
- 1:03Speaker 1: it can't just be about you. That's not the word,
- 1:07Speaker 1: that's not the way the world is set up in
- 1:08Speaker 1: designed We are a collection of relationships. We are all
- 1:14Speaker 1: woven together in some shape, form or fashion to the
- 1:16Speaker 1: people that we know, and once you know them, somebody
- 1:21Speaker 1: in that connection has to be of value. I thought
- 1:26Speaker 1: this question out. I would die for all of my children.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I would die for my wife. I would have died
- 1:33Speaker 1: for my parents. I would die for my two sisters,
- 1:38Speaker 1: my brother. I would and the reason I would is
- 1:42Speaker 1: because of the level of significance they've had in my
- 1:45Speaker 1: life and the fact that I couldn't live when I
- 1:48Speaker 1: would live with myself knowing that I allowed it to
- 1:50Speaker 1: be them instead of me. I just ain't cut from
- 1:52Speaker 1: that cloth. Now hear a lot of men online talking
- 1:56Speaker 1: about I ain't dying for nobody. When you, my friend, you,
- 2:01Speaker 1: my brother, have not found the secret to this thing,
- 2:06Speaker 1: because life becomes worth living when you find yourself in
- 2:11Speaker 1: love with someone more than you love yourself. When you
- 2:15Speaker 1: get to that right there, you'll understand what it's all about.
- 2:20Speaker 1: When you first lay your eyes on your child, that
- 2:23Speaker 1: child becomes quite significant to you. I don't care when
- 2:27Speaker 1: you have this child, how late in life, how early
- 2:29Speaker 1: in life. Once you look at them, they become really
- 2:32Speaker 1: significant for you, and you change. My children changed me.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I realized all of a sudden, I not only had
- 2:43Speaker 1: something to live for, I now had something I would
- 2:47Speaker 1: die for. And that's what it comes down to, fellas.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I mean, it applies to women too, but I'm kind
- 2:56Speaker 1: of really talking to men because I think what happened
- 3:00Speaker 1: man with this generation that we have is not enough.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Older men are sharing the concepts and principles of life
- 3:06Speaker 1: anymore with these young cats, and they got them going
- 3:08Speaker 1: around freely exchanging information with one another that ain't really
- 3:11Speaker 1: good information, Like we stop telling each other that you
- 3:15Speaker 1: are really really made in this world to provide and
- 3:19Speaker 1: to be a provider for something. We have been taught
- 3:22Speaker 1: that women are the prize. And I was watching this
- 3:24Speaker 1: guy online talking about a woman ain't the prize? Well,
- 3:29Speaker 1: if you get the right one, it is, now you
- 3:31Speaker 1: can get the wrong one. The wrong one ain't. The
- 3:33Speaker 1: wrong one is not a prize. The right one is.
- 3:37Speaker 1: But say, fellas, you ain't no prize either until you
- 3:39Speaker 1: lift up, live up to your calling. Women have a
- 3:42Speaker 1: skill set that we've not been blessed with. They the
- 3:45Speaker 1: only one that can make another life. You can get
- 3:48Speaker 1: with another a woman and she can make another you.
- 3:52Speaker 1: You can't do that a woman. Some women's obligation is
- 3:58Speaker 1: to reproduce all women, but some every woman isn't born
- 4:03Speaker 1: into this world to have children. Understand that. But there
- 4:06Speaker 1: are women who want children from the time they're little girls.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Well that's that's their mission in life. But fellas, you
- 4:13Speaker 1: gotta want root. You gotta understand what is yours too, though,
- 4:17Speaker 1: because if you ain't, if you ain't here to take
- 4:19Speaker 1: care of nobody, what Because you can't make a life,
- 4:25Speaker 1: so you should at least be able to sponsor one.
- 4:29Speaker 1: I mean, I'm just talking real to you now. That
- 4:32Speaker 1: is value and honor in taking care of a family.
- 4:37Speaker 1: That is real honor. I'm able to stick my chest
- 4:40Speaker 1: out knowing one thing I did exceptionally well. I've been
- 4:45Speaker 1: a great provider exceptionally well. And it's not the amount
- 4:48Speaker 1: of money. I'm talking to all men who go out
- 4:52Speaker 1: there and turn them corners every day, start that carp
- 4:55Speaker 1: and drive the work and come home with that check
- 4:57Speaker 1: and laying on the table and share it with a
- 4:59Speaker 1: woman and saying, hey, now make this work. I'm talking
- 5:03Speaker 1: to you. You ain't got to be rich to be
- 5:06Speaker 1: a provider. All you got to do is show up
- 5:10Speaker 1: and provide. But that's honor in that. Man. Men feel
- 5:14Speaker 1: me and men take a certain pride in that. And
- 5:17Speaker 1: we got to keep doing that. Fellas. It's okay to
- 5:21Speaker 1: love your wife, it's okay to love your children. It's
- 5:24Speaker 1: okay to want to have a family. It's okay to
- 5:27Speaker 1: defend them with your honor, with your life. That's been
- 5:32Speaker 1: one of my great joys. Man. I ain't got a
- 5:35Speaker 1: lot of stuff right, but I got that right. He
- 5:38Speaker 1: say what you want to say. But I look out
- 5:41Speaker 1: for mine, and I take care of mine, and I
- 5:43Speaker 1: appreciate all the men out there that's doing the same thing,
- 5:46Speaker 1: looking out for yours and taking care of your. Hats
- 5:49Speaker 1: off to your brothers. You got to love somebody more
- 5:52Speaker 1: than you love yourself. You do that, you'll find the
- 5:54Speaker 1: secret my clothes and lawns. Talk to y'all, y'all. He
