  Stay humble, stay wise. Have you ever felt the pressure
• 0:14
  to prove yourself to be the smartest voice in the room, the
• 0:18
  strongest 1 standing? The person who never backs down
• 0:21
  or admits weakness. Whether it's in school, at work,
• 0:24
  online, or even among friends, it can feel like humility equals
• 0:28
  losing. Like if you don't promote
• 0:30
  yourself, someone else will pass you by.
• 0:32
  But God's wisdom tells a very different story.
• 0:35
  Proverbs chapter 3, verse 35 says the wise will inherit
• 0:39
  honor, but fools get disgrace. Notice what it doesn't say.
• 0:43
  It doesn't say the loudest inherit honor.
• 0:46
  It doesn't say the most aggressive, the most praised, or
• 0:48
  the most impressive inherit honor.
• 0:51
  It says the wise do. And biblical wisdom is always
• 0:54
  tied to humility, knowing who God is, knowing who you are, and
• 0:58
  living from that place with trust instead of ego.

  Psalm 7 pulls the curtain back even further.

  In verse 9, David prays, oh, let the evil of the wicked come to
• 1:07
  an end and may you establish the righteous you who test the minds
• 1:11
  and hearts, Oh righteous God. God doesn't just see our
• 1:14
  actions, He sees our motives. He knows why we say what we say,
• 1:18
  post what we post, and do what we do.
• 1:21
  We might fool people, but we never fool God.
• 1:23
  And the good news is he isn't looking for perfection.
• 1:27
  He's looking for honesty, humility, and hearts that are
• 1:30
  open to being shaped. Then Jesus speaks directly to
• 1:33
  the part of us that feels tired from trying to hold it all
• 1:36
  together. In Matthew Chapter 11 verse 29,
• 1:39
  he says, take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am
• 1:42
  gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your
• 1:45
  souls. Think about that.
• 1:48
  Jesus, the Son of God, describes himself as gentle and humble.
• 1:52
  He doesn't lead with pressure or pride.
• 1:54
  He leads with grace. And he invites you to learn his
• 1:57
  way of living, a way that doesn't crush your soul but
• 2:00
  actually gives it rest. Staying humble doesn't mean
• 2:03
  thinking less of yourself, it means thinking of yourself less
• 2:06
  and trusting God more. Staying wise means being
• 2:09
  teachable, staying grounded, and letting God define success
• 2:13
  instead of chasing applause. When you choose humility, you
• 2:16
  createspace for God to lead. When you choose wisdom, you
• 2:19
  position yourself for the kind of honor that lasts.

  You don't have to prove yourself.
• 2:24
  God already sees you. Walk humbly.

  Learn from Jesus, let him carry what's heavy and guide you in
• 2:29
  what's ahead. Let's pray.

  Heavenly Father, help me walk in true wisdom, not driven by pride

  or the need to impress others. Teach me to stay humble and to

  learn from Jesus who is gentle and lowly in heart.

  Search my motives, shake my heart and lead me in Your truth.

  I choose your wisdom over my own and Your peace over pressure.

  Father. Neither does anyone know the

  Father except the Son and he to whom the Son desires to reveal

  him. Come to Me, all you who labor

  and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.

  Take My yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and
• 9:10
  humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
