Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_02]: The Jason Light just revealed his first round pick, well, we'll see, we'll see we just heard from Jason Light and his press conference in detailing and also to previewing the Buck and ears 2026 NFL.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_02]: Drafty talked about a few positions including one on the offensive side of the ball that continues to be talked about.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_02]: Also to the quarterback room.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_02]: What is that going to look like?
- 0:23[SPEAKER_02]: Are they going to pursue N the NFL draft also he spoke on leaders after losing Mike Evans and Levantay David.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_02]: He actually named the handful of players who we think are going to step up and be the new franchise leaders for.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_02]: Tampa Bay.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_02]: We've also got a handful of things in here.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_02]: We've got three quarterbacks.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_02]: The buck and years could pursue in this year's NFL draft.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_02]: Also to the bucks did host an intriguing quarterback prospect.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_02]: We'll discuss that along with to the worst case and the best case scenario for the bucks as well to two positions that the bucks are most likely to target in the first
- 1:00[SPEAKER_02]: round and then of course at the very end we've got something that maybe some bucks fans and not see but a former rival maybe even still a rival talking some trash to the Tampa Bay buck and years wind off the show on that so stick around with us with me this afternoon is Caleb Skinner our veteran rider at bucks gave me dot common all the way to the other side at one buck is River Wells our editor and chief gentlemen get afternoon how we doing
- 1:27[SPEAKER_01]: doing good.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: Just listen to Jason talk about the draft.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_01]: Always a press conference for sure.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_01]: So we were there and we had to say and now we're going to talk about it.
- 1:40[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm not feeling my greatness.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: You know, personally, I think my girlfriend brought something back from Nashville, from her besserite trip.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: But, oh, yeah, that's how many people who knows who she's been in touch with already, they doubt like over there.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_00]: Whoa, whoa, whoa, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: You know, how it is, I mean, your own trips and come back, you know, bars, tons of bars out there, um, yeah, and that um, boba was in full swing, you know, me covering the commanders as well for us, new uniforms that they were able to be able to be able to be able to be pretty sweet pretty awesome.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: So that's been fun to cover, um, this morning, and I just looking to, you know, dig into what Jason said as we hadn't said the NFL draft here in little over a week.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to get started then, River, you were there, you were on site.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_02]: We, you know, Caleb and I were listening from the broadcast, but just going off of anything that stood out to you initially.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_02]: I've got a handful of things that I want to point out as well, because he did talk and discuss about a whole wide range of things, but to you specifically, what stood out the most from this pressure this afternoon.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_01]: Free draft presses are always tough because, you know, they want to keep everything real close to the vests of their and Jason's no different, but I think the thing that he kind of emphasized when we asked about edge rushers that, you know, he's doing a lot of work on that position, right?
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: So looking into edge rusher seems to be more a priority, which it should be on the board, doesn't mean they're going to pick one in the first round, but seems like it's definitely a position that they're doing their complete due diligence on.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: Talk a little bit about the philosophy behind drafting those Eddrossers, right?
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be the first to admit it.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_01]: We've had more success trading and signing Eddrossers in free ages, and we have drafts in them.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, it's an area that they got to get better at and hit on.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_01]: And I think you mentioned the phrase a lot of work on that position in the pre-draft process.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: So, something to watch.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_01]: Also mentioned, you know, given Zach Robinson's 12-personel sort of affinity.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe Titan wouldn't be out of the question.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_01]: He said, you know, he'd love to add another Titan.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_01]: He says they're confident and Kate on.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_01]: They have already.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_01]: It would mind and going kind of bouncing off that.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_01]: You've heard a lot of talk about, you know, Kenyans D., you get off Oregon being a potential bucks pick.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_01]: But he was asked, you know, would you pick a player?
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: You think it'd be an impact player if it was not for a need?
- 4:05[SPEAKER_01]: And he said, absolutely.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_01]: No question.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_01]: We kind of saw him do that last year, the mechanic Boooka.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_01]: could do it this year with a guy that can't get on sedic, only he knows.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_02]: I thought there was a good quote there from him on this, or he said it would be great to add a tie-in onto the roster that brings elements that others don't.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_02]: And we sort of know we've talked about this ceiling, what you're going to get with Kate on and also to the others on that roster in the position group, Caleb and I had to be honest with you.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it seems like there's certainly some openness to this, because we've been getting reports, and there's been some rumblings, and we've certainly been talking about it with Kenyansodik, or other
- 4:42[SPEAKER_02]: players at the time in position, but specifically we're talking about first round and it seems like Jason's open.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_02]: Certainly to this it's just going to come down to is it maybe a better pass-fresher ahead of a guy like a Kenyansity that actually can bring those caliber up.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_02]: Bring that caliber a play that you kind of lost there with Mike Evans.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's interesting because he also made a quote about trading back during his press conference as well, which we have kind of pointed towards and it kind of falls into this little gray area with the 15th overall pick right.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_00]: So if those top edge rushers are gone, you're not really liking what is fallen to you at that pick and you're unable to trade back because you're unable to find a trade partner that wants to trade up in this draft.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: because these teams are valuing a little bit more of their 20, 27 picks at this point.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_00]: So then you really have your kind of handcuffed, I guess, is where you're at here and you're going to have to make a selection one way or another.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: So if things do fall that way for Jason and you are looking at, you know, BPA, best player available for you guys.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_00]: They're from the acronym.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, yeah.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he, it's an obvious option.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_00]: He's probably one of the top three most mocked guys to the 10th of a buck in years right now.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_00]: And he, I'm not sure if he provides the buck in years with anything that they don't have already within that tight in room, other than the fact that he kind of embodies all of them in one singular player.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think he definitely brings a lot higher of a ceiling or not the ceiling than any of those guys of Kate out and it's been very reliable if not on spectacular.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: I think a guy like Kian City could potentially be a spectacular, especially given that the book and years are going to need an x-wider seeer and Jason Lyser today, you know, they don't make them like my govins, right, they don't make a lot of them like my govins.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: being able to go climb the ladder and get a contestant catches catches in the red zone that's something they're missing without evidence and perhaps to do if he were to come and have a day would fix that potentially with the 12 person now.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: for the folks at home there that is two tight ends, you know, Zekro isn't like to use that type of personality.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: So, it would be interesting.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_01]: I've voiced my opinion on drafting a tight end.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: Funny all I think will be a bad idea, but, and to be honest with you guys, I think it'd be a bad idea for any tight end in the first round.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: I think the positional value is quite bad.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: picking a tight end at that high on the draft, but you never know who could be a super star, who could show up, who could be a great fit, and that's chasing life's job to figure that out for the books.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: It makes sense to, from that perspective, with that Robinson, as you mentioned, you know, the Ren, you know, two tight insets in Atlanta, the second most out of every team last year, of all three two and a couple of teams there in Atlanta, so that makes sense there for being able to take the league.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and then as well, if you do want to go and secure, you know, that that red zone target that guy can go get contested catches over the middle.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_00]: Um, whatever it may be.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he fits that mold precisely.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_00]: Um, again, like River said that positional value.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_00]: Um, very, very questionable.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_02]: I just wanted to the reaction of the fan base that you would get if you did go after another offensive player and back to back years where you felt like you didn't need to add a defensive piece.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_02]: You had the guy like Monta David, who was at the end in the tail end of his career.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_02]: You also had question marks beside him was servicier.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_02]: Dennis, and of course, we know the past rush position.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_02]: I know you made a move and you went after his son, Reddit, but still you wanted to go and try to develop and find someone that you could build up upon there.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, I just wonder what the reaction would be.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_02]: Let us know in the comments what you think that would be.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_02]: That Jason line the bucks when after an offense of player like it can young city could tie to end over what you've been needing for years now and appear past Russia or someone that can make an immediate impact.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_02]: I'm interested to see what people say in the chat.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_02]: Now there was also some talk about the quarterbacks.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_02]: It's always going to be asked no matter if you have a starting quarterback and certainly two for how about said four to state.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_02]: They're looking for a quarterback.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_02]: The punks have their quarterback with Baker Mayfield.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_02]: Gentlemen, he talked about it a little bit.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_02]: He said if there was one that we like, that we're comfortable with and the right spot, it's something that we've talked about.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_02]: So him and his team at one buff, they've done their due diligence.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_02]: He did also mention that they're about 95% done with their board.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_02]: Got a few other pieces to figure out, but quarterback specifically, and we'll talk about it here in just a little bit.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_02]: Further of three prospects that we're looking at,
- 9:09[SPEAKER_02]: What does this look like if the box were to make a move and the quarterback room because, you know, they did bring in a veteran with Jake Browning from the Bengals.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it would definitely be a competition with Connor Bay's lack on the roster.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think the books also brought back on a one-year deal.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_01]: Are you looking at a third quarterback that could exist in camp?
- 9:30[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you can never be too diligent with the quarterback position.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_01]: It is not only the most important position in football.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_01]: I argue it's probably the most important position in all four major North American sports.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: Given that it is always really important to always do your due diligence not even just for yourself You know if someone like drew out or blows up or something then you've scoured him in the draft You've talked with him you need to kind of know how he takes so there's an advantage with that as well But you know they had it brought in jail and Daniels were a top 40 that's that 30 sorry That's Kansas is quarterback that's been kind of up and down.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_01]: They're just calling you to career
- 10:08[SPEAKER_01]: expected to be undrafted, but they did want to talk to him.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: So that's a name they could look at once to draft ends and all the UDFAs come in.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure they've looked at everybody.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's always really important and I know that every GM's doing their deal is on that position.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: So could bring someone in, you never know, it would have to be later, you would hope, because there's a lot to take care before that.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this isn't going to be drafting Kyle Trask in the second round to eventually be the predecessor of, you know, whoever is the starting quarterback in franchise quarterback and moving here in the next foreseeable future.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: So with all expectation of that being Baker may field.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_00]: And then you got, you know, Browning coming in probably going to be, you know, a stop for him along his career as he continues to bounce around as a backup as well as with Connor Bay's like it's like as River mentioned, we'll probably be that battle there.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you know, be up to them when it comes to a lot of sort of backs.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: Lots of constructions, right?
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: Again, a lot of quarterbacks.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: You probably move one down, practice squad, whatever, maybe, but with how it's set up with the emergency quarterback in a really need for.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but anyway, I mean, you look at guys like River's favorite, uh, tail and green there at Arkansas, um, you know, David Daniels, um, the veteran who is a six year collegiate player at the University of Kansas pretty much seen every single
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: I guess defensive scheme imaginable over his six years in college.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_00]: So you get a little bit of a better in presence there guys ready to come in probably could win you a gamer too.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_00]: If he is called upon into action because obviously, you know, you throw in a guy, nobody's been able to see him before things that nature and then obviously with his veteran mindset of being able to see a lot of defensive schemes will help him in that area.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_00]: Colpain, the FCS guy from North Dakota State, also another name out there.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: A little bit more, I'll take some Hill guy.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: So not really a quarterback purse, more of a versatile weapon, but you can work on him and develop his arm talent and things that nature are well incorporating him in numerous different positions, whether he's an age back roll or hide him out there somewhere.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: So there's a bunch of different directions as they can go.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's never too early to look at that moving forward,
- 12:17[SPEAKER_00]: with the two one-year deals that they got done.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_02]: And you guys feel more confident about this quarterback room at the moment than what you had last year, eventually you had Teddy Bruder come in of course, but do you feel more confident behind Baker Mayfield because I think all of us agreed after the season that, hey man, I don't think what you had behind Baker Mayfield was reliable for you in the kind of show because yes, Baker, he did this at Cleveland though, he never wanted to come off the field.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_02]: But I think specifically for this season, I mean, this man was injured all over.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, Lontae David spoke on it recently about how many injuries he was dealing with upper lower body oblique.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_02]: Everything imaginable he was dealing with, but he never came off the field.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_02]: And he probably most likely should have missed one, maybe even two games.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_02]: But I don't think he felt confident about where, you know, that offense is going to go.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_02]: under Teddy Bridgewater and at the end of the day, you know, Bicker's going to put the team on his back as he always does.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_02]: Do you feel more confident about this quarterback room?
- 13:14[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, of course, with the experience that Jake Browning has had backing specifically a guy like Joe Burrow, who's also been injured and been out for a good amount of time with the bangles.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, yeah, I do.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: I think with a back up like that, you don't want Browning starting for a long period of time.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_01]: We saw that with the bangles, but you would hope that you would have a better shot if Baker may feel would go down.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_01]: And if he were to stop playing, that's the other thing if you're forgetting about, he doesn't like to not play football.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that would change with Jake Browning.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_01]: I don't honestly.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_01]: I don't.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_01]: So you would
- 13:52[SPEAKER_01]: more aptly to to rest if he is her hopefully it doesn't happen.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_01]: But if it does, I think round is a much better option than the Bridgewater Open last year.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_02]: I think Todd would be able to say though, hey, I mean, maybe it's not Todd or, you know, it can be Zach Robinson.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_02]: Whoever that is, telling Baker, hey.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_02]: This isn't Teddy.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_02]: This is what you had.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_02]: We have to put Jake and you've got to take a rest.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_02]: You got to take a break.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like it's more, I have more confidence in being able to tell Baker that than what I had last year because Jake Brown and can't step up and he can go when you a few games if you do need him too, just because of that experience.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_02]: I've had him having to step up.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_02]: and if he's got weapons which the bucks do have offensively jake brownie did that with a lot of weapons to offensively that the bangles had as well so i think i feel like you can tell baker that yes i agree river he's not going to want to get off the field but you have a little bit more of a a confidence factor saying baker you're done here's jake browning for a gamer too yeah
- 14:50[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, there were a few other things and we're going to talk a little bit more on quarterback some just a minute, but uh, he did speak on finding, uh, finding leaders and that that this was a pretty interesting one here because of course we know Mike Evans a lot to David no longer being in Tampa.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_02]: So, he's a big factor in the locker room specifically, he did say he does feel like a few players are going to step up out of their shells and he did say also to, he does like this roster.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_02]: He mentioned as well to, he does feel like there are, he's been around several Super Bowl teams.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_02]: He sees it coming to form.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_02]: He said this team is coming to form.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_02]: I thought that was pretty
- 15:36[SPEAKER_02]: and says, I really feel strongly about this group and our quarterback.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_02]: So the Subaru team is coming into form, gentlemen, it's coming into form.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_02]: It's not going the reverse.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_01]: or is it or is it or are we he he he mentioned to you got a wait till you see in training him and then he said you got a wait until you see it at the first few weeks of the season so really kind of that started building up when there's go Paul's a little bit for sure obviously a GM's going to be confident in his roster.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_01]: I think that makes perfect sense.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_01]: I think
- 16:11[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of it has been players that Jason Light had drafted, as we know, he likes to retain a lot of players in this roster, so it's no surprise to me that he would have that confidence in his team and of these new players to be leaders.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: He mentioned there's going to be a few guys.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_01]: He's my athletic can't see all the young players potentially setting up in that role this year.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_01]: You would hope that happens, but I'm not surprised he would say that.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how true it is, so I guess according to him we'll see.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_01]: When the football season started somewhere a few weeks and there's a lot of work to do to make suitable roster I think here a lot of work
- 16:44[SPEAKER_00]: where really hinges is, you know, are those guys going to step up, right?
- 16:49[SPEAKER_00]: Like we've seen what they are capable of.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_00]: We've also seen injuries be or have a massive impact on, you know, they're the development, their production, every single level.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_00]: And a question that, you know, comes in the mind mind here too, is he saying this, and, you know, with Mike gone, with Levanta, gone, maybe his team, it was a little bit more freer to kind of be themselves and not have to, you know,
- 17:10[SPEAKER_00]: live by the means of a Levantai David or live by the means of a Mike Evans who are were clearly your leaders, right?
- 17:17[SPEAKER_00]: So you're not really one to step on toes.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_00]: You're not really want to, you know, overstep your boundaries or whatever it may be.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe that's what he's kind of saying here is now they feel a little bit more free to be able to speak up, free to, you know, kind of played their own game a little bit more freely, rather than have to, you know,
- 17:35[SPEAKER_00]: revolve around whatever else is going on.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_00]: So I mean, that's that sounds promising to me.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_00]: That's how I want to take it, you know, from my position.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, we'll see, but everything that's come down to training camp.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_00]: It comes out to how it looks during the season and so on and so forth.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_00]: But you can only project so far, right?
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: So.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: Um, GM speak, coach speak, whatever you want to call it.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_00]: That's, you know, what it is, that's what you're going to get leading up to the NFL draft, but you're going to get all off season until games start getting played.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_00]: And then, you know, you kind of see what transpires from there when it comes to hey, we have to have conversations about this or we're on that road to where we're contending for a Super Bowl.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 18:12[SPEAKER_00]: I like it.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_00]: I like the confidence, especially after what we did see happen.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_00]: This offseason with Mike and Levantay, and then the fans not being too happy with some of the acquisitions that were brought in, so on and so forth.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_00]: So I like his confidence.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_00]: I like where he's headed, I mean, watching in the current the other day, you know, you get this tier drinking moments with Levantay with Mike, but they also show, you know, Alex
- 18:41[SPEAKER_00]: their confidence and what they're going to be able to bring into this locker room into this team and how high they are on the direction of where things are headed.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_00]: Really gotten the got me excited, you know, and it was just a very short little four minute period there at the end of that video.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: But that should bring a little bit more, you know, confidence of the fan base confidence and the people who like us who report on the team cover the team and what they are going to be able to be heading into trying to camp and into the season.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, this is a very important offseason for this because you do have to find your new leaders and I think that's a good point there Caleb because you could be capped out about how much you can do don't want to step over to certainly when it's Mike Evans like that's a
- 19:35[SPEAKER_02]: Chris Godwin himself as well.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_02]: He's kind of in cap to where maybe, you know, he doesn't want to step over Mike Evans's toes, even though that relationship is so tight, they both want to superbowl together all of that.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_02]: You know, there's just certain things as a mental thing like when you come into a new job or, you know, what are your new come or you don't want to step over someone that's been there for 10 years at all.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_02]: You don't ever want to do that.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_02]: So it's going to be very interesting.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_02]: Now Jason did speak on a few names.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_02]: He did mention some new leaders that he thinks.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_02]: nonstop and that's it.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_02]: We're gonna be close in on once we get into some of these camps Elijah can't see is another one as well.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_02]: You also mentioned Vita Baya too He said the entire offensive line as a whole as a whole unit that's gonna step up with the leadership and you see that What's written worse all the time you see what get a key as well
- 20:27[SPEAKER_02]: The also mentioned Bucky Irving, which is a really intriguing one to me.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he's now that clear leader there and the running back room, but also matched him with Kenneth Gainwell, who comes in with a ton of experience.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_02]: And one of those Caleb you mentioned, Alex, and Zalone coming in from Detroit.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_02]: He just brings that leadership from what he had at Detroit over down here to Tampa.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_02]: So certainly some things that we're going to be following moving forward, because this is a new era and Tampa.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_02]: Real quick though, he did mention that he does like this wide receiver room in Tampa right now.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_02]: He thinks there is a lot of high caliber talent there, but he does understand, you know, you can't replace what Mike Evans did for you and he was specifically asked about replacing that X position or finding some talent there.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_02]: He said, it wouldn't be shocking if we took a shot and then I felt draft due to so much talent in the wide receiver room, gentlemen, did that intrigue you guys a little bit.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_01]: It would have to be late.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think given that you drafted him.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_01]: I could book a net number 19 last year.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, there is even the biggest names.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_01]: You look at Jordan Tyson out of Arizona and say, you know, six two, right?
- 21:40[SPEAKER_01]: You look at some of these guys.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_01]: You know, six, six, three.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_01]: My give us a six, five.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_01]: So it's gonna be hard to find another one.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_01]: You do still in the intro X, Water Zebra.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's indisputable,
- 21:54[SPEAKER_01]: You did get David Sills obviously don't want him to start for you, but that's a big buddy frame guy that you can have at your disposal And you're gonna need someone else probably, but doing a draft pretty early would be an interesting maneuver given how much defense they need and We know there's a nice amount of posts and not drafting by need, but I think the general consensus is that he should So we will see what happens there.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know only he knows what his plans are and he likes to surprise you
- 22:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I agree there.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's out of the question.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's probably more of a 50, 50 toss up, you know, because it's, hey, if there's a guy here that's like, can this expoundary guy like why not?
- 22:33[SPEAKER_00]: There's not a lot of those guys more, more of those guys who are your true exes or your bigger body wide receivers are gonna be there in the early arounds, right?
- 22:42[SPEAKER_00]: So not necessarily later arounds unless you're getting some guys who maybe had injury problems or guys who might have not played at big schools or gotten the exposure, so on and so forth.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, it wouldn't shock me.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously they,
- 22:56[SPEAKER_00]: look to have hit on a late round by receiver last year by taking Tess Johnson.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_00]: So I have
- 23:03[SPEAKER_00]: You know, the most confidence in him being able to do that once again and finding, you know, kind of a diamond in the rough late, you might not have to be a true expoundary wide out.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_00]: You can look like a guy like an Eric Rivers out of Georgia Tech, not, you know, a huge big body guy, but also constructs the field vertically.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_00]: So there's guys out there that'll be available.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_00]: It just depends on on what directions that they really want to go.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't want to see them take them in day one, day three is probably is probably where you want.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_02]: All right, gentlemen, let's go through a couple of quick hitters here.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_02]: We have a lot of articles going out on BugsGanday.com.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of them from these two on your screen right here next to me.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_02]: But let's go ahead and start off.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go back to the quarterbacks for a minute.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_02]: Remember, you had this article here three quarterbacks.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_02]: BugsGandayers could pursue in this year's NFL draft.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_02]: There's Drew Aller from the state you have at the very top.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_02]: And then there's tail and green, Arkansas there, raise her back, showing him some love you had to after amount of time to get there.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm going to say, amount of times now don't get there.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_01]: I misspoke wants about tail and green.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_01]: I like tail and green.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_01]: There's no beat between me.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't even like a missbook that bad.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_02]: We just want to just, you know, mess with you.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_02]: It's the best thing that they would.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_02]: But yes, tail and green from Arkansas six, but six, who are in 27 pounds.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of dual threat ability here for himself.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_02]: And then you guys Sawyer Robinson from Baylor.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_02]: He finished fifth in FBS with 31 touchdowns in 2025 with through 28 touchdowns a year before as well.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_02]: He's totaled 6,752 passing yards.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_02]: But these are the three quarterbacks listed here.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, Drew Aller is a one.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I believe he just visited or is going to be visiting with the Pittsburgh Steelers as well, but he'd be more of a day two day three guy at the box.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to see what he would be and he would probably be the highest threat.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_02]: What a big difference in sight.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, not saying that a bigger than Baker is your friend.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_02]: He's your franchise quarterback.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_02]: We expect for if things go well.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_02]: That Baker will be
- 25:03[SPEAKER_02]: your quarterback moving forward in the 20 27 after the season, but man, there's the difference in size here from Baker to a six foot five, 230 pound quarterback with Drew Aller.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Aller and more so aller than Green, I think Green's a little too big to be a prototypical quarterback, but um, all right, kind of in the Goldilocks sort of area of, you know, built in a lab to play the position, right?
- 25:28[SPEAKER_01]: He's got a lot of work he needs, but any of these
- 25:32[SPEAKER_01]: and you can have them learn behind a big eyes that bigger may feel, you know, on the channel about the new quarterbacks coach from Indiana developed for Nana Mendoza here in time right now.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I went with those two because green and all are very raw athletic freaks that could use a lot of development to their game.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_01]: Sawyer Robbins is kind of the opposite, Robertson's, sorry, very productive in college.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_01]: You know, not as physical of a specimen as the other two, and would still need some work given, you know, he struggled turnovers, he struggled with reading the field.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_01]: So one of them is a guy that, you know, has production already, and then two of them, or guys that you could develop, that you would need to have them sit for a while.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_00]: So.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and those three guys are solid.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_00]: I've mentioned a couple guys earlier as well.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_00]: Prior to if you weren't here to hear that, go back and watch that here at the beginning of the podcast.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_00]: But those guys are great.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_00]: It kind of depends on what direction you're kind of seeing the quarter-rec position move to or what direction you ultimately want your quarter-rec position to move to, right?
- 26:37[SPEAKER_00]: So do you want more of a guy as a dual threat?
- 26:39[SPEAKER_00]: Bakers kind of that, not necessarily as big of a runner as some of these other guys are.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, I mean, it depends.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_00]: Taylor Greene's great big, you know, big guy, massive guy, honestly, got the dual credibility with kind of reminds people of a Jayden Dangos there in Washington, D.C. up there with the commanders.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_00]: And then you can also look at a guy like a Luke Altmire if you're looking for more of a pocket pass or type quarterback probably a day to guy up there with the ally or where he would probably be taken.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_00]: So, lots of options if you are going to go ahead and go get a backup quarterback.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's his pressing.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_00]: Some of these other positions, especially with Baker and how he is, you've got Browning.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_00]: You can honestly sign Browning to another one year deal after this and move forward with base lack as well.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I don't think they're pressing too much on the whole situation, but there are some solid names out there despite it not being an overwhelmingly, you know, looked at quarterback class as being one of those that is going to necessarily be the next generation of quarterbacks to play in the league.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't think there's an Uber amount of Uber-talented quarterbacks in this one, but there's stone with a ton of experience.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I'm going through a list here, Carson Beck is on here as well.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_02]: That's probably going to be in that four to seven range.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_02]: Garrett Nussmire isn't a crazy gentleman.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_02]: We were going into this last year's college football season.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_02]: And we all were looking at Garrett Nussmire saying this is the guy.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_02]: This is going to be not a fan of fans.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_01]: Isn't that wild?
- 28:06[SPEAKER_02]: You weren't a fan going in to the season?
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: No, and I think he kind of, kind of proved me right, is a lot of, of a, of a, or a key needs.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not as much a fan of his game as I like to mention, and yeah, and the hot, you know, hot take for me that river is not going to like is I believe that Carson Beck is probably going to end up being the best quarterback of this class when it's all said and done.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_01]: That's not super hot.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_01]: I don't love Carson Beck as a prospect either, but I mean, Allers obviously guys like Aller think have a sky high ceiling, but it just depends on if they're going to be able to reach that and then, you know, it's so hard to make it.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_01]: back to play the most football.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_01]: He's played football more consistently the other ones.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_01]: I do kind of get it.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_01]: I still do like Fernando Mendoza, I think, in this class.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_01]: Mendoza kind of reminds me of Kirk Cousin's type ceiling player who could be a very productive quarterback in the league for a long time.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, not a sky high ceiling, but I think a pretty high floor.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_00]: If you can pull in the money that Kirk did, I'm sure you won't complain.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_01]: Of course.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_01]: Shut up the current cousin's agent.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_01]: Always getting it done.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_02]: big bag, new house for that person every four years.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_02]: Now, the bucks did host an intriguing quarterback prospect.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_02]: This is with Jalen Daniels.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_02]: I was mentioned earlier in the show from Kansas, a six year senior is 23 years old.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_01]: That's a lot of years.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_02]: That's a lot of football gentlemen.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_02]: That is a lot of football and a lot of experience.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_02]: But 9,282 passing yards, 67 touchdowns, 31
- 29:46[SPEAKER_02]: did you just do the six seven?
- 29:47[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_02]: I was making sure.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_01]: There's mixture.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_01]: Didn't know what that was.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_01]: I would never do that.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_02]: I've seen you do it in person.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_02]: We've done it in person together.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_02]: That would never be you.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_02]: It's twenty twenty six new year.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I mean, these coming in, twenty twenty two, twenty two touchdowns, seven interceptions, and then twenty twenty three.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_02]: I had an injury and only played in three games.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_02]: 24, 14 touchdowns, 12 interceptions, and then what do you say?
- 30:20[SPEAKER_02]: 26 touchdowns, 7 interceptions, some improvement there, but the accuracy and anticipation reading defenses is not his strength, river.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_01]: Now he looked really promising after that 2022 campaign like he was going to be one of the next big things in college for the quarterback position and it did not come to fruition.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, probably going to be untrafted, but you look at talent, you look at what happened in 2022 and you probably think, how can I get him back there?
- 30:47[SPEAKER_01]: And if I could get him for cheap, like you would, is it UDFA?
- 30:51[SPEAKER_01]: He would cost nothing to brown in the camp.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_01]: Why don't take a chance on that?
- 30:55[SPEAKER_01]: So I think a lot of teams are interested.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_01]: I know that you visit with the
- 30:58[SPEAKER_01]: He's talked with a lot of other teams as well, but I think the box should probably still just curious, you know what happened there.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to point me.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, turn over prone for sure.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_01]: Fumble's the football.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there's picks, but that's what we're in the deep at sometimes.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_01]: really good dual threat guy has shown to have a pretty decent size of these are these aren't trying to say are these as a range um so we'll see what happens but using a top 30 interesting sort of move given that he's probably excited to be undrafted but they wanted to do their dogeosins and look and do them and they did and do it the red is
- 31:36[SPEAKER_00]: a bit generous.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_00]: He's more of a runner to me is where he kind of slats lots in.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_00]: Something that Logan didn't point out as he also has 23 Russian touchdowns over the course of his career.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_00]: Or maybe even in the previous two seasons.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure, you know, totally on what where those live, but I did write an article about him the other day for the commanders.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, dudes got legs for days and he will keep running.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_00]: like Ford's gone at the University of Alabama, like that's the type of guidance he's not going to stop.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_00]: He's kind of got that motor as a quarterback, much to be desired from his from an arm talent perspective and his accuracy.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_00]: But overall, wouldn't be a bad on draft the guy to pick up, at least give him a chance to see what he's got, what he'll be able to bring.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_00]: See kind of where his, you know, mental state is as he's heading into the league and whatever.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_00]: that it may be.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_00]: I don't mind them.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_00]: I thought 22 was awesome season for him.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody was super far.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_00]: He was getting Heisman talks, heading into the next season, but you know, things quickly glass, but that's kind of what happens when you're at Kansas.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_00]: So it's really hard to
- 32:41[SPEAKER_00]: It's hard to gauge that, right?
- 32:43[SPEAKER_00]: Like, and there are certain teams out there where it's hard to gauge.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_00]: I look at like on the braska, like when you're looking at quarterbacks specifically, like in a braska, like a Kansas, places like that that aren't necessarily known for having quarterbacks or being able to develop quarterbacks or whatever it may be.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of hard to gauge, right?
- 32:59[SPEAKER_00]: So it would be interesting to see what happens if the bucks were to take them or were to sign them undrafted, but it'll get a shot in the NFL one way.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I see what he can do in a camp, make some things interesting, why not, right?
- 33:13[SPEAKER_02]: So there certainly have some interest there on Jalen Daniels.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_02]: Now, let's jump into here, best and worst case scenario.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_02]: Where do we want to go first?
- 33:21[SPEAKER_02]: So we want to start off with the worst case scenario for the bucks in this 2020 6 NFL.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_02]: Drive that feel like.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_02]: I'd rather start with bad than go to the good.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_02]: So if Jason light and the bucks do this, this would be the worst case scenario.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_02]: They draft a skill positioned player early in the first round specifically, of course.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_02]: And then they trade up.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_02]: into this NFL draft.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_02]: So let's say it's either over thing.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't be a fan of that.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_01]: They have too much capital that they need for drafting.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_01]: Trading will be I think a pretty bad idea.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think there's anybody worth trading up for necessarily in this first round, even an adressor or god forbid and inside linebacker.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_01]: Um, it wouldn't be a good idea.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_01]: And then yeah, I think getting a scope position would be kind of a luxury whether or not you want to call tight in a scope position is kind of a for debate.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_01]: I would in today's modern NFL and I would say that you just don't need it.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_01]: Um, the 12 person now wouldn't be worth it.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_01]: And you would really hurt yourself when it comes to getting starting players at inside linebacker and edge rush or what you would really need.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_01]: So would not be a fan of that sequence of events.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_00]: And then as per me for worst case scenario, it would be not being able to find a trade back partner.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_00]: I think some of these guys that they have on their board right now are gonna be flying off.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I think some of these guys are gonna be there.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_00]: And if you don't wanna get stuck in a situation at 15, and have to take a new entity that you might not be as comfortable with because you can't find a trade back partner to get a cash is how well later in the first round as an address or whatever it may be.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_00]: Um, that's your worst case scenario because then you're forced to pick and you're not really in love with that.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's probably, you know, you're third, fourth option at that point.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_00]: Um, that's just my hence what I'm getting that the tip of the book and yours will kind of want to do.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_00]: They want to see out of the, you know, the board falls up to that point.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_00]: And then make a decision from their hair or ours is our guy still going to be here.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_00]: Um, if he's not we're going to try and trade back.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_00]: So worst case scenario is if they are unable to find a trade partner now, whether it's a cargo at 25 or I mean, I don't even know who would be looking to get into that area back there right now, but maybe Chicago wants to move up Maybe even the jets want to move up like one spot like who even knows what what crazy stuff is going to come on because there's teams that end up blowing it
- 35:50[SPEAKER_00]: every single year and you're like, what are you doing?
- 35:52[SPEAKER_00]: So I mean, it's awesome, really, but that would be the worst case scenario for my perspective.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_02]: My worst case scenario would be not hitting well on a pressure.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_02]: And if you went and got someone that we weren't even thinking on or whoever, I feel like it's been every year.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_02]: We're like, oh my goodness, it's going to be that guy.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_02]: There he is sitting right there or, you know, it's the second option that we have on our board and like, oh, mechagbuka, hey, fun player, everything like that.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_02]: But man, you might have really needed some help at the past rush position.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_02]: I understand you wouldn't have son retic to show you in one year.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, you know, he still got it or something there and left in the tank.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_02]: But you put a lot of your risk onto that and that did not show up well for you whatsoever.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that was that was bad, but that's just kind of more in the simple terms.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_02]: Just got to, you know, if you don't find a good pressure here.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_02]: That's bad.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go over to the best case scenario now for the box.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_02]: And this can be open to discussion now, specifically, River, you had listed a few things.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_02]: Best case trading back in this draft.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that's interesting because we did hear that from Jason Light today, not saying specifically that he was going to do that, but having my notes that.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_02]: And a lot of scenarios were working through right now.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_02]: So in a lot of those scenarios, he's saying, you know, him and his team, they're looking to draft boarder very much open to training back in this NFL draft and then another option.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_02]: And then another, yeah, another, and or would be selecting an edge rusher would be best scenario for the box.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_02]: Gentlemen, open floor here.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_02]: What's the best move here?
- 37:30[SPEAKER_02]: And best case scenario.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, um, drafting, I think maybe later in the first round, turning down will be the best case scenario.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_01]: You can get some more picks.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_01]: You really need a lot of help on defense, so getting that depth is important.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_01]: Jason said a day, it's hard to find a trade partner.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's easier said than done.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_01]: Some people don't want to move up.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_01]: They don't need to do so.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm sure they'd like to and I think they would like to but they got to get something done So we'll see if they're able to do that, but I think trading down is a lot of edge rushing talent in this draft outside of like the blue chip guys That would be better served to getting picked down there than up in 15 at that makes sense So yeah, I think that's the consensus for everybody really is that
- 38:13[SPEAKER_00]: The best case scenario for the 10 of Maybook and yours would be to trade back in this draft.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_00]: But the opposite of that, how I also see this as best case scenario for the bucks is if one of their guys that they do have on their board that they potentially don't see being there at 15 actually being there 15.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that would be nice when they're right.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm talking like maybe a sunny styles, highly doubting will be there, a guy like a Rubin Bane, highly doubting will be there or a guy like a
- 38:41[SPEAKER_00]: highly doubt will be there, but if one of those three guys are there, that's best case scenario for the bucketers because that feels a hole in all three levels or at any one of those three levels on their defense where they definitely need help, they are holes on this roster and you can go ahead and get one of the top guys at 15 that screams steal to me and a steal is always best case scenario.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_02]: I fully agree.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that would be wonderful.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_02]: And you got to hope Jason, if there's any kind of trades or anything happening.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_02]: He's got a good relationship with whoever that is to be able to put the books and that spot to be able to do so.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_02]: Because this is such a weird spot for them to be in and the draft in the middle right there.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_02]: you know, we've talked about a lot, they either want to be early or you want to kind of be later there, but in that middle spot, that's where you think about trading back and garnering more picks in that front.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_02]: So, that's always, I think, a best case scenario for the bucks if it does make sense for them, but if one just falls on your lap, someone that is going to come in and be an immediate playmaker for you.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_02]: and a factor for you, I think you and I agreed, Caleb, that should be on the defensive side of the ball, and the major, major way, I think, which what you have offensively right now is fine, and you can work with things.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think you need to press so hardly on a first round tight end.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_02]: Don't need to do that, but
- 39:59[SPEAKER_02]: Best case scenario.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_02]: I add your usher that can come back come in and bring immediate impact to you to where you almost have three defensive ends that you feel strongly about being starters for you.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's something huge for you as well.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_02]: And you still want to see strides we made from the idea of the hobby.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_02]: And of course, what you did and the off season as well.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_02]: But that's the best case scenario.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_00]: I know exactly.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's it's you know, you can have a wealth.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_00]: You could secure a lot of wealth for your franchise.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_00]: With that, Nick, if you'd be at one of those guys to fall.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_00]: Don't reach.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_00]: Like, there's no reason to give up extra draft capital.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_00]: Go up there and reach for these guys as River mentioned about the address and class being deep.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_00]: The linebackers is a very similar situation there, as well, especially at the top.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_00]: So that is something that you have to take in the consideration.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure Jason and Rob is a assistant GM or doing everything in their abilities to make sure
- 40:57[SPEAKER_00]: They have backup plans on backup plans on backup plans for whatever happens, but again, as Jason mentioned in his press conference, the NFL draft is crazy.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_00]: There's teams that are going to do things that you don't fully expect them to, you know,
- 41:09[SPEAKER_00]: the jets are always a team like that, the giants are a team like that.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_00]: You just don't really know what's going to happen.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_00]: If somebody can move up and try and get tie Simpson, you know, it's an interesting little area that they find themselves in, but that's the NFL draft.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_00]: And that's why we all love it.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's the unexpected, man.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_02]: And there's a lot of new coaching staffs in here, new coaches, new GMs, I mean, like you just said, giants with hardball, you know.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_02]: It seems like they're going to try to do a whole flip around and that entire franchise to get back on track, after it's been a very long time of not being a factor of anything.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_02]: So there's going to be some teams that are going to be extremely aggressive if they feel confident what they have right now in their base of their franchise.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_02]: We just lost River, he's in one buck and he only had a certain amount of time that we could get him on here.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_02]: So that's why he just disappeared from us, but he'd disappeared at a sad time because Caleb and I get to come in here and make some price picks.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_02]: Shout the price picks.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_02]: You guys can use our code HMA.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_02]: It's also in the link down below play five, get $50 back instantly in your lineups.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_02]: And right here on the screen, we're going to make some quick picks on here.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_02]: Caleb, I know we had Masters last week, we sadly went two of three.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_02]: That's okay.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_02]: We got another day to get after it.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_02]: So let's make some NBA picks because honestly these have been working for me to be honest with you.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm not an avid NBA guy, but now that we're heading into the playoffs, then it matters a little bit more.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_00]: I was going to say, are we in the playoff shit or the playoff start this weekend?
- 42:38[SPEAKER_00]: Do we still have more games to be played?
- 42:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we should have, we got the, we've got the warriors tonight at 10, Steph Curry.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_02]: What's Steph Curry's point, Steph Curry guy, who 25 and a half?
- 42:53[SPEAKER_02]: Who?
- 42:54[SPEAKER_02]: What is his trim down?
- 42:55[SPEAKER_02]: 35 or 23 and a half?
- 43:00[SPEAKER_02]: Were they playing?
- 43:00[SPEAKER_02]: Were they playing at Clippers?
- 43:02[SPEAKER_02]: That's going to be a pretty damn good game.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_02]: What's his three pointers made, though?
- 43:07[SPEAKER_02]: needs to make for.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_02]: I like that.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_02]: He just had he just had four against the clippers.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's interesting.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_00]: We got to think about seating and things that nature and what's kind of been locked up.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_00]: He is playing.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_00]: So it looks like it's set at two and a half or three and a half.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I've got three and a half over here.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe he's been back a couple games now a few games now.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_00]: Um, we're going to have a group in the season and they're playing the clippers.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_00]: Um, see, I don't know how long these guys are going to play.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_00]: So it's really tough.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to lean.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_00]: Do you want to remain on there?
- 43:49[SPEAKER_02]: I would lean under our lower than three and a we don't have.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_02]: We don't have a lower option.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_02]: We have to go more or less.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_02]: We want, okay, you could go actually go forward and go less on this.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_02]: Let's do that.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_02]: We'll do that.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_02]: There we go.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_02]: I think they're in the play.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_02]: I think
- 44:06[SPEAKER_02]: The warriors are, I don't even know where it's got to be a plan, right?
- 44:09[SPEAKER_02]: Or it's got to be a, we've got to look at seating, kind of seating thing here.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_02]: While you're doing that, I'm going to look for another pick here.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_02]: I was pulled to get a PRA, 29 and a good, yep.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_00]: They're in a plane with the clippers.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_00]: So that's tonight, actually.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_00]: That's what this is.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's the plan.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_00]: Gotcha.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's a boring game.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to change.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to change our go back there.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_00]: We won't go over the what was the original number.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_00]: Three and a half.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we'll just back or we'll do the more on that.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, oops, there we go.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_02]: Got it, bang got that.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_02]: I'll set it Paul George in here.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_02]: His PRA.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_02]: It's pretty high, and I actually put it up a little bit more.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_02]: There was a leave, 20, a half, oops, where's the set?
- 45:06[SPEAKER_02]: It's 70, there we go.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_02]: It's in that.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I've got to lessen that, puree there, and then real quick.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_02]: Let's get, let's get one more.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_02]: Let's get one more.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_02]: It seemed pretty good so far.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_02]: Why Leonard 40 and a half, I guess I guess he is going to have to play a play and yeah, it's a PRA.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's a big way to get 40 and a half, 40 and a half.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to have to be dominant with the ball.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's going to have to be very, very active in this game.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_00]: It is.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it isn't that way.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_02]: 40 and it just goes points to we just go points and he's got to get 24.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_02]: I like points.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I'm going to do points.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_02]: 24 is going to happen there.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to have to fill it up.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he's going to have to be an integral game, which makes me lean more towards PRAs, but that's.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_00]: PRAs, you think?
- 46:08[SPEAKER_02]: okay well rock with this will hope this hits will put in a little five bomb on it right here you guys can do as much as you like but I feel like these are pretty solid picks and we trimmed a little bit so fill
- 46:21[SPEAKER_02]: Feel pretty confident there.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_02]: We'll stick with the power play on it.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_02]: Use our code HMA down below.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_02]: You get $5 get $50 back instantly in lineup shout out the price picks for partnering with us.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_02]: This season, this whole entire year, actually.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_02]: You guys can also use our code down below.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_02]: The link is in the description on YouTube.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_02]: All right, let's keep moving here.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_02]: We've got a handful of things still to go over and it's just UNI-K able to tune those.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_02]: We had to get the Gator out of here.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_02]: Now, everything's a little bit smoother, how I'm just playing.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_02]: But we already went through worst best case scenario now.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_02]: There are two specific positions that the buck and ears are being linked to the most and this has to do with draft King's odds.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_02]: So this comes from...
- 47:05[SPEAKER_02]: I believe it was football insights.com.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, football insights.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_02]: They ran through, did a whole lot of data and grabbed some of the odds, of course, as well, from draft kings.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_02]: And they put in some things where they found two specific positions at the bucks are going to go for in the first round.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_02]: One of those quite obvious.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, it is the Ed Rush position.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_02]: We've had that the last couple of years I've talked about on this show, but there is a surprising one and it's one that we've actually talked about a little bit, but it is the Titan position and who would have thought with how many moves at the box have made this off season bring back co-keef, of course, to a Kate on that hey, you know, they're going to go after more potentially we don't know yet, but signs and some odds makers are saying that the box are going to go into that direction at Titan.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_02]: These are the two positions Caleb.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_02]: Who would have thought man?
- 48:02[SPEAKER_02]: Who would have thought?
- 48:03[SPEAKER_02]: I would have never thought that going into this office.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_02]: I'll be honest with you.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_00]: I think obviously Ed should be number one.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_00]: I think number two should be of my background.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think number three should be corner.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_00]: And then you can certainly answer it.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm not, I'm not, I'm not the odds makers out there in LV and Cincinnati.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_00]: Um, they do their jobs.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_00]: That's what they're, you know, pay to do whatever.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but Jason light said today.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and his press conference.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, yeah, I look at mock drafts.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_00]: Um, he's like it's more so just for fun.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, I really get to kick out of it because all these insiders or whatever, say, you know, they're spoken with me and, you know, I've never even heard from them.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_00]: So if anybody pretends to have an inside track on what it's in my book and years and Jason light and his staff are going to do with that first over the 15th of rural pick.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_00]: They be lying to from Jason likes own words.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if Tyden is that high on the board for them Yeah, they've been bringing in some guys on top 30s or whatever, but I think they're more geared to take or more inclined excuse me to take a guy there in the day two area Oscar Delk being a you know Highly highly mentioned name and also out of visit as well with with Taylor Bay so
- 49:15[SPEAKER_00]: I get it because of the mocks, I get it because some people can see it as an inherent need later down the line, bringing in a guy who can replace my devins so on and so forth.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_00]: But those are miniscule things in the grand scheme of what the buck and years ultimately need.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_00]: So, I hate that that's out there, but it is what it is that this point is not much just going to change about it.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, we just put, yeah, I mean, we just put in so much on that Zach Robinson needs to tie in sets as I think on that, like his relationship with Liam Cohen, I mean, Liam Cohen necessarily need that.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_00]: No, but that's something that's like, like, they do right, but like, if you are going to be running too tight and sent sets, do you need for, you know, situational
- 50:03[SPEAKER_00]: whatever, Kenyansidik, do you need him being one of those tight ends?
- 50:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it would be great when you get into athletic weapon, who's versatile and whatever.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_00]: But if you're running too tight and sent, you're going to have probably a blocker at one side and you're probably going to have a receiving tight end on the other, right?
- 50:17[SPEAKER_00]: So if you look at it from that aspect of Tampa Bay, buck and ears have that covered, and then if you want your kind of balance, go to, you know, check down tight end, you've got Kate on.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_00]: So you got Kate, you got pain, you've got, yeah.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_00]: um, that inculp them, who is, is that we're sealing tight in.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_00]: So like you've got those guys in the locker room, and then you got Keith, the special teams, guru, um, who can kind of play an h-back role within your offense as well.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_00]: So you got the guys, you've got the pieces.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's a matter of how we are going to get that to work, and, you know, maybe not, maybe you do want to replace pain Jerome, you know, maybe there is a guy make an Oscar Delph who's a younger guy who can even come in there and it replace him.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_00]: So, um, that's why I think it's more of a day two.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_00]: where you look at it that way.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, after what happened with the deals with Kade, the one-year deal with Kokey, like I just think they're pretty much set there, is honestly a need more so than kind of like, hey, let's see what we can get out of this.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe we've land somebody that can turn into our franchise head-in, moving forward.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 51:17[SPEAKER_00]: That's just kind of where it is.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm, I know.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_02]: And a staff feels so highly on co-keef, man.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_02]: We've heard so many good things from him when we see it.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we- Well, we've really- Well, if Jason's breaking the news of him signing his contracts, like they clearly love it.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly in that connection.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_02]: I just like the way that co-keef plays.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_02]: He kind of just keeps himself But you see him on the field and certainly in special teams.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he's going he does his job But he goes and does it at a very high caliber and he plays a lot of physicality as well And just plays like a football player and that's what I do like about co but the staff feels still very highly on him and that injuries certainly impacted them last year with what they want to do more of
- 51:56[SPEAKER_02]: as well could have helped a ton too when you're looking at like a guy that can block for you and how limited they were at Sometimes off the side of the ball certainly when like Tristan worse was hurt and dinged up as well He wanted extra help on the other side like there was some things where losing co-keeps was impactful for them So haven't been back for another years going to be interesting.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't know for punts So not just saying us, but we're talking about some of those national outlets or guys They're doing mock drafts or the odds makers
- 52:23[SPEAKER_02]: But in some of those eggs in the basket that you have to have this too tight in, set in a specific way to bring in a guy like Kenyan City.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_02]: It just seems like it's a little bit overboard a bit.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_00]: It's stretch if you will.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's like you're reaching for something that you don't necessarily need to reach for.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_00]: But you made an interesting point.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_00]: You brought up the offer at the line.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_00]: the tight ends in the offensive line are a cohesive unit, right?
- 52:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like they are a part of that unit.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_00]: So at times last year, you had Tristan wears out in the lineup.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_00]: You had Luke Gideki at a lineup who are both your tackles on either side, who the tight ends rely heavily on to be able to work with.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_00]: you know, whether that's shedding off blockers and, you know, passing them on to the next guy, so on and so forth, right?
- 53:05[SPEAKER_00]: So with the bucks happen all those injuries last year and those issues last year, the tight ends couldn't necessarily be as effective as we have seen in the past.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_00]: So with these guys healthy, with these guys, even getting in more work with some of the backups that, you know, like a like a vendor to gloom or anybody like that, like getting that extra time to be able to work with them.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_00]: over just one season last year when they didn't really expect him to even have to play, then you're going to give the Titans a better chance to be able to produce at a higher level, more so than actually just having to go out and get a guy that you think is going to be able to replace the production or even improve on it.
- 53:43[SPEAKER_02]: There's Marco on YouTube saying I would take Oscar Delp over Kenyan Sadik.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_02]: He also mentioned to the bucks need of that linebacker edge cornerbacker safety and he also asked us who's going to be the first round pick.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_02]: We don't know.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_02]: We don't know, but we are going to give you a big time predictions.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_02]: Next week on the show.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_02]: So make sure you haven't haven't done that yet.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_02]: Marco anybody else listening.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_02]: And we haven't asked about it.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_02]: on this show, but a highly suggest hitting that subscribe button.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_02]: We've seen a lot of growth there.
- 54:09[SPEAKER_02]: I'll bring the numbers up before we end, but we've seen like 20, 25 new subscribers in the last week or two.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_02]: So we appreciate everybody new coming on here, but if you're also just joining us, consider hitting that subscribe button, also to smack that like button.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_02]: It allows us to go out to more buck and years, fans.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_02]: Now, Caleb will end it off here, man.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_02]: One of your favorites, one of your favorites in the NFL.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_02]: favorite of yours.
- 54:36[SPEAKER_02]: CJ Gardner Johnson once again taking shots at the bucks.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_02]: This was back.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_02]: Now we're bringing this out.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_02]: This is a little bit dated a tiny bit, but I know the YouTube crowd is different than the Twitter ones where we're on that app every second of the day.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_02]: So we did catch CJ Gardner Johnson and did go viral almost 1 million views of him going after the bucks on Easter day of all days.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_02]: Go and after the Tampa Bay Buck in years and just randomly just randomly tweeting, let's not forget Tom Brady saved the bucks dot dot dot.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_02]: We all know.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_02]: And, I mean, we've written a handful of articles on this guy, Kayla, back in your, when we started buck's game day, back when he was with the Saints, we had all kinds of articles going out.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_02]: And when the Fli win ever he and Mike Evans would go at it.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_02]: But what were your thoughts on this because I think when everybody, you know,
- 55:33[SPEAKER_02]: Some people that grade with that on Twitter, of course, a bucks' family is to not.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_02]: But a lot of people do think, truly that Tom Brady saved the franchise and now that he's not here, the bucks aren't good anymore even though they've outside this last year.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_02]: They've won three straight NFC South titles.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, theoretically on the surface, sure, like you can make that claim like right because you know, you know, that you got to go, you know, of course, you're going to be good again and you're going to be relevant again, whatever, but Tom Brady chose Tampa Bay out of every all the other 31 teams in the league because of what they already had on their roster.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_00]: Not because the bucks were like not just because he was like I'm going to take the worst team and and make it the best team like it that wasn't the situation like the buckneers were still okay, they just need they were like a quarterback away, you know, that's how they saw themselves that's where Brady saw them and that's what happened yes he brought in.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_00]: Grong, yes, he brought in Lenny, yes, all these guys started coming because they have Brady, but the infrastructure was there from the get go, right?
- 56:39[SPEAKER_00]: They had the guys that he wanted to work with, the guys that he knew had the right mentality and so on so forth.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_00]: So, I don't even know why he, see, this is my problem with him.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_00]: He always likes to open his mouth when,
- 56:53[SPEAKER_00]: It's like not necessary at the end of the day, right?
- 56:56[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's something that he's got to say something when it doesn't need to be said.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_00]: And it's gone back to his time of the Saints.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_00]: Dude's not even playing the box anymore.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_00]: Like once a year now.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, what is it?
- 57:07[SPEAKER_00]: What did the box do to him?
- 57:08[SPEAKER_00]: He lost.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_00]: So Christmas on Easter Sunday.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_00]: Like what, like, okay, what, why?
- 57:16[SPEAKER_00]: Like there's no point in it other than for attention seeking, I guess, like I don't know.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_00]: Like is that how you're gonna stay relevant in this league?
- 57:23[SPEAKER_00]: Cool, whatever it may be.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I've had my run-ins with CJGJ in the past and some of my articles with his antics and things that that nature, but that's just who he is.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_00]: And much respect to him.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_00]: I really respect people who don't switch up who they are.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_00]: And CJGJ is not one of those dudes.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_00]: He is not going to change up who he is a lot like a Martian Lattermore, who also has passed with the Tampa Bay Buck in your own time with the New Orleans Saints.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so it's just kind of how how he rolls and you know, much respect to him for it, but you know, dude, like, let's, who cares?
- 57:57[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, there's supposed to be out like enjoying the day.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_02]: I'm enjoying the off season and family Easter.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_00]: But no, we got to focus on Tom Brady and the Buccaneers, which hasn't been a thing for like three seasons.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_00]: So, um, let's put it in a way, put it in the past and then move on and clearly.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_02]: I love this.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_02]: I love the, the first reply that's at the very top of this has got 15,000 views.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we saw this earlier this season too, like it's it seems to be always going to be it's always going to be ongoing with CJ Gardner Johnson because they keep playing each other.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_02]: They put keep on he keeps playing against the box and of course to to the season like perfect whenever he and Baker may feel we're going to at the beginning of the season and like.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_02]: Baker goes down kind of act in like he's heard a tiny bit.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure he heard CJ.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure sure CJ said get your ass up or something like that and then just fired Baker up and then end up being where bucks beat them 20 to 19 Well, if you feel so strongly a talent about Tom Brady, he might have told Baker he's not he's not Brady, but like whatever I mean they probably Baker doesn't love to please whatever with
- 59:08[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, to be honest with you, I mean, Brady, after a while, once you kind of got into his ear, we saw that with Tire and Matthew, after a while and you're just an annoying Nat, he'll trip back to you as well.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_02]: Bakers more hands on though, Brady will just use his mouth, he's not going to touch you or anything.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_02]: And that was great.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_00]: Brady will show it on the field like Brady's just going to like, you're going to say something.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just going to rip your whole defense apart.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're going to get shredded.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's like kind of like, you know, like in today's stage, you're like basketball, like going back to that in our prize picks.
- 59:41[SPEAKER_00]: Like when Luca Dodges is like having a rough start for the Lakers and then all of a sudden some fans start stripping out on the court side and then all of a sudden how he's at 40 points.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's the type of player that Brady was like he's he's going to kill you like don't say anything to him you get him going or that's what it's yeah
- 59:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no, don't hurt yourself anymore, please don't do that.
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_02]: I just love the I should just keep these on here, but the these replies are hilarious.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_02]: So first we got Baker there and then we're at you a part of this right here and then live on day day with the Super Bowl right here.
- 1:00:15[SPEAKER_02]: So I think bucks.
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_02]: Here's the things where we're talking about right here.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_02]: We remember.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_02]: that he loves a man and he just loves all that shit man.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_02]: He loves the competitive nature and I respects you to Garner Johnson to like at the end this is what this is what we love about football this isn't and I love all those sports golf
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_02]: This isn't tennis, this isn't golf, this isn't this is, this is why we love football and you're gonna have and guys like this that are gonna get in your ear and chirp you and they get to talk shit and they also get to hit you too.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_02]: This is still legal, right now as we speak on April 15th, 2016, so legal to hit somebody.
- 1:00:56[SPEAKER_02]: And so yeah, the replies there, he kind of got eaten up alive there on Twitter for that, but that we'd bring that up to finish up the show.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_00]: Don't forget that news on that app, right?
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_02]: exactly.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_02]: But that's going to do for us.
- 1:01:09[SPEAKER_02]: We appreciate everybody.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_02]: This was a good long show, but we appreciate we try to cover as much as possible from Jason Lights, press conference, talking about the NFL draft.
