- 0:00It's super soft and he can't call that a violent conduct.
- 0:04Essentially what he's done. He's only jumped up and he's
- 0:06tried to grab, but he's happened to like grab his hair, but he's
- 0:08almost he looks like he's felt the hair and almost let go
- 0:12straight away once he's realized and he I don't think he was
- 0:14trying to go. I'm going to grab How I lose
- 0:17hair. He just comes up, puts it on and
- 0:19then he unveils this banner and then he just does one and then
- 0:23obviously all the leaves fans are turning around looking at us
- 0:25at this banner, thinking it's us, my brother, right?
- 0:28Literally at the end police are pointing up and then you've got
- 0:31the stewards coming over saying take the flag down.
- 0:33And we were like, it's nothing to do with us, Stop with these
- 0:36crap flags. How are we fellow Reds?
- 0:39Probably not great after that result last night.

- 1:11fellow Reds jazz. Let's get into it.
- 1:15I was there last night. You were watching on TV,
- 1:18scribbling all the notes. You're shaking your head.
- 1:21Yeah. How are you feeling?
- 1:24I just, obviously we waited, what, 24 days for the next match
- 1:28and then for that to be it. It's just kind of everything you
- 1:32thought that shouldn't happen. Like they should have had so
- 1:35much energy, they should have had fired up because it's leads,
- 1:39you know what leads are going to offer and it just didn't happen.
- 1:44I don't really get why like we'll get into the details, but
- 1:49energy in my opinion is something that you that's not
- 1:52tactical, like you should be given 100% no matter what.
- 1:55And I just don't think that was there.
- 1:57We just yeah, yeah, really, really quite annoyed,
- 2:00particularly at 1st 45 minutes was pretty disgraceful.
- 2:05They reminded me of like where Ameren Tenahag end of days type
- 2:09stuff. So not that I think that's the
- 2:11case character, not that, but just yeah, just remind me of
- 2:14those performances of there is more negative times.
- 2:20Very fair. Yeah, I did a immediate reaction
- 2:22kind of after coming out of the ground last night and I just was
- 2:27so surprised. Obviously I said in my
- 2:29prediction that I was a little bit worried about some rust
- 2:31maybe. But like you said, there's no
- 2:34real excuse for kind of fatigue or lack of desire and a job that
- 2:39in in Dublin. They were probably on the
- 2:41Guinness, but it looked like it. It looked like they were
- 2:43hungover or something. It was yeah, like that's just
- 2:48underway. I didn't know where you really
- 2:49understand where that came from. Like either like you've been on
- 2:53a good rate of forms of confidence.
- 2:55Obviously the draw, but it was what was it like a bad draw
- 2:58before Bournemouth? Suicide kind of referee blame
- 3:00type thing. So then you think we should be
- 3:04running high here, going on to going into this game against one
- 3:07of our kind of fierce rivals who are a rival but normally are
- 3:11chitter. So it should be like going into
- 3:13a rival, A rival clash to to to to to go in and expect a
- 3:17victory. And I think maybe that's it.
- 3:20They just thought foregone conclusion more we'll win this
- 3:23and we have to try and you can't do that the primarily against
- 3:26anyone, as the last two seasons have shown like every amount of
- 3:30teams who beat us. Yeah, but it's just what I never
- 3:32want his records. I think it was the first time
- 3:33since 1981. So 45 years since Lee's Las
- 3:38betas in in the league at home. So yeah, it's just really,
- 3:43really disappointing. Yeah, it's a bad one for
- 3:46character have on his CV that isn't it yeah, giving them,
- 3:49giving them that and obviously where we sit at all Trafford is
- 3:52right, you all them last night. But yeah, yeah, it just such a
- 3:59wasted opportunity as well though to put some real, you
- 4:02know, distance between the chasing pack and yeah, we can't
- 4:05win every game but Leeds at home just after a bit of a break as
- 4:09well. It's just an opportunity.
- 4:10You know, they're also injury hit as well.
- 4:13Yeah, after the FA Cup and other things so bad. 1A bad one.
- 4:17Yeah, it would have been, it would have been 1010 points on
- 4:20Chelsea, 6 on Liverpool. I think it would have been after
- 4:24that. And then again, like, how's
- 4:26that? I'll gain you fired up enough to
- 4:28like, OK, let's secure third. But yeah, like we'll still get
- 4:32into the details of it. But yeah, same as you, just
- 4:34really frustrated and a bit angry, I guess.
- 4:36I was last night, just particularly less so full time.
- 4:41I was obviously still annoyed is bought more annoyance but at
- 4:43half time I was like angry I got at the team and like what the
- 4:46hell is going on? It's just disgraceful.
- 4:50Yeah, because normally obviously losing, you want to kind of say,
- 4:53OK, we'll be a bit unlucky. You know, there's been a lot of
- 4:55chat about the red card, which we'll get into, but last night I
- 4:58just left feeling that was worryingly bad versus, you know,
- 5:02just an annoying defeat so. Yeah, 100%, yeah.
- 5:07We'll get into it, but before we do, as always, let's have a look
- 5:09at our predictions. Which did not go well.
- 5:13I said with a tiny bit of caution, probably backing myself
- 5:17up, that I was worried about rust, but I still had a down as
- 5:202/1. I said Cesco to score and by
- 5:22more to score and Harrison to score all wrong.
- 5:26Obviously I got the correct score, just the wrong way
- 5:28around. Jazz, you were quite excited
- 5:31mate. You said three nil, 2 from
- 5:33Cesco, one from Bruno. You did get a green tick for a
- 5:36Bruno assist though. Yeah she's pretty easy to
- 5:38predict to be fair if we do so yeah I again I just expected
- 5:45more like we off a break. I guess you as you on the side
- 5:50caution of after the break of the game.
- 5:52Yeah, the rustiness was I was like, OK, they should be re
- 5:55energized and obviously you were a lot more correct, but even
- 6:00yeah, incorrect still sadly. Yeah, yeah.
- 6:04But my caution wasn't that any in any doubt that we were going
- 6:07to lose. Yeah, exactly.
- 6:08Yeah. I thought it would be tighter
- 6:10than a three nil, but yeah, not I did not expect that last night
- 6:13in terms of getting, let's be honest, drummed for 60 minutes
- 6:18so. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:21Lineup. Obviously I was surprised by
- 6:23that. I think you messaged me to say a
- 6:24guy, they were starting and I'm like, what's going on?
- 6:27To be fair, I haven't properly looked into what is the
- 6:29situation with Kobe. I think it's just like a knock
- 6:32apparently you should be back for Chelsea.
- 6:34So I think it's again, I think it's probably maybe he could
- 6:37have played, but they were always Leeds will save me for
- 6:40Chelsea is just one of thought. I was thinking actually, I think
- 6:47he was a big miss. Put his calmness in the field
- 6:51and he's taking the ball under pressure because that's why they
- 6:54just kept smashing us in the middle and you got it, doesn't
- 6:58have that ability. So I think, yeah, I reckon maybe
- 7:00they're trying to rest him because not resting, but you
- 7:03know, I mean, be cautious. And then whilst I guess I think
- 7:09Dallow is sick, which is why he didn't start.
- 7:12And normally I would have been like not bothered Masrawi, all
- 7:16good to come in, but he was probably my biggest bugbear last
- 7:21night. He was awful, absolutely awful.
- 7:25So so that was obviously one which again before game you
- 7:28probably saying pregame like the only one you're really a bit
- 7:31worried about was like, OK, you got, but that's not his fault.
- 7:34It wasn't tactical. It was because, OK, we don't
- 7:36basically have any sense of materials, which shows how much
- 7:39squad that we we do not have particularly in midfield.
- 7:44So yeah, I wasn't, I'll be honest, I wasn't worried,
- 7:48especially with Martinez coming in next to Yoro.
- 7:49I was OK, decent, like happy jumping back because what I did
- 7:53think was OK, there's no you got so there's no copy and you got
- 7:57is there? But it doesn't matter because
- 7:58Martinez can can play that role instead.
- 8:00And then obviously none of that came through because you were
- 8:03rubbish. No, you're right and I looked it
- 8:07as well in a sauce Tesco. Is that in I'm I don't for him.
- 8:10Wermo fine. And like you said as well, I'm
- 8:13normally quite happy about Maserati for Delo.
- 8:15But yeah, so I was going in going all right.
- 8:18I can take that line up and you know, excited to be there.
- 8:22The flags were out in the Stratford and is a cool thing to
- 8:26see, to be fair, very good for kind of more more of that police
- 8:29strap and angry does look great. I mentioned it.
- 8:33I mentioned it on the live reaction last night.
- 8:35But it's a fella, right? And I won't name him because I
- 8:38don't know his name, but but he keeps coming to where we sit
- 8:44right at the front and he's puts his flag out.
- 8:47He did it last time and I don't really know.
- 8:49What he said that sheet. Honestly, just somehow, how is
- 8:53he getting a bed sheet in as well?
- 8:54It's absolutely. And then we can't stop him,
- 8:57can't be kicking off before the game, you know what I mean?
- 8:59He just comes up, puts it on and then he unveils this banner.
- 9:03And then he just does one. Don't know where he goes.
- 9:06And then obviously all the leads fans are turning around looking
- 9:08at us at this banner, thinking it's us.
- 9:11Me and my brother are right literally at the edge.
- 9:13He looks like we've tied it on. We've had absolutely nothing to
- 9:15do with it. Police are pointing up and then
- 9:17you've got the stewards coming over saying take the flag down
- 9:20and we're like, it's nothing to do with us.
- 9:23Luckily, luckily everyone around us at the same.
- 9:25He said it wasn't them. Like some guys come down and put
- 9:28it on there. So just put it out on the pod.
- 9:30It stop with these crap flags like.
- 9:35The city game can be as well just as it for the big rival
- 9:38games apparently. And this I think I saw the
- 9:40picture, you found it. They said something about the
- 9:43some about foot and mouth or something.
- 9:45Was it? I guess it's some of the old
- 9:46school like 90s reference to Leeds right now.
- 9:51Obviously Foot and mouth when I was a kid when that was all
- 9:53kicking off. So it's probably got some awful
- 9:55reference to Leeds fans and you've been associated with it
- 9:58because you're stood above it. And it's a joke, obviously do
- 10:02not condone it. And that's not as well.
- 10:04My handwriting is a lot better and is a lot better as well.
- 10:06So yeah, now. You got to do that, and you had
- 10:09nicer bed sheets apparently. Yeah, it's mad.
- 10:14Ms. would be gutted if I was using bed sheets on that.
- 10:18But yeah, to be fair, we had animate there.
- 10:20It was actually in the lead. Then he managed to get a picture
- 10:23on it and like circles as well. So like even worse.
- 10:26But yeah, start when he's bed sheet things.
- 10:29It's ridiculous. It's ridiculous.
- 10:30But anyway, let's get let's get into it.
- 10:32And I wish I was there. And I think you took a few more
- 10:34notes, Jazz, but just from the off, they just wanted it more.
- 10:37I said to you that I was struggling for notes because we
- 10:40were in the East and looking at the shepherd and then it just
- 10:42looked like a white blur all the 1st.
- 10:45Pretty accurate. Like obviously I think it's 2
- 10:49minutes in. Obviously Cowboy Luna had that
- 10:51chance and Lemon, like point blank lemon saved it.
- 10:53But that was like you'd hope that would have been like a wake
- 10:57up. Oh, like they're on it and we
- 10:59need to match that energy because they just played, played
- 11:02around Maserati and Shore at will basically throughout the
- 11:05whole game. And like that was 2 minutes and
- 11:08obviously the goal was 2 minutes later.
- 11:10And it's pretty much like a carbon copy kind of build up to
- 11:13the first chance. So we just didn't learn our
- 11:16lessons. And I think it was theme
- 11:20throughout the game. Was Calvin Lewin just bossing
- 11:25Joro and Martin has to be fair, whoever he whoever he he was
- 11:28kind of more sitting on your age.
- 11:30I think he knew you could boss him.
- 11:31But for that goal, the first goal like it could it could be
- 11:37given as a foul definitely because it was like Army and it
- 11:41was kind of he did he'd catch him.
- 11:42He did affect the header that you're put on it.
- 11:45But I'm because of everything because everything led to that
- 11:48goal and to the poor play in general.
- 11:50I'm not even that asked about it because they deserved that goal
- 11:53because they just outfought us in every part of the pitch.
- 11:57They won every second and third ball.
- 12:00Obviously the ball talk about their second goal later, but
- 12:02like same thing, just being on it.
- 12:05I might. The first one, Mazari was just
- 12:07kind of caught flat footed and you've got to anticipate like
- 12:11someone's going to get a nick on it.
- 12:13And he was just kind of like, oh, stuck and then it went
- 12:15behind him and a couple scored. It's like then I was like, OK,
- 12:19maybe that'll wake us up because normally that's what does
- 12:22happen. Is that OK?
- 12:23Consume an early goal. Who was it?
- 12:25We did concede an early one against someone a couple of
- 12:28weeks back and we did respond again, he was at home, but it
- 12:33was just more the same. Like for all my notes are
- 12:36basically just like transfer leads.
- 12:38Chance is the odd obviously one for United, but like we didn't
- 12:45deserve anything out of that first half.
- 12:47We were awful and they were really good and it was mainly
- 12:51down to just energy and fight and more than anything.
- 12:56And then I did like Mazari and Shaw were absolutely bossed
- 13:03pretty much the whole game. They offered nothing going
- 13:05forward. Like Mazari looked like he
- 13:07hadn't played since the African combinations, like he was kind
- 13:12of getting passed around really easily.
- 13:14And when he did get the ball going forward, his passing was
- 13:16horrendous, just kept giving it away, getting caught in
- 13:19possession. But there's so many examples of
- 13:22it throughout that first half, I've just kind of given the ball
- 13:24away and Lee's just dominating us.
- 13:27And yeah, it was like, I'm not going into specific examples
- 13:31there because there were so many, but that's just a general
- 13:33theme of the first half. Was that kind of, like you said,
- 13:36like a white blur. Yeah, and exactly that.
- 13:40And I think when it's bad for sure as well, it looks bad,
- 13:43doesn't it? Yeah, just you just literally
- 13:46jogging about and just missing tackles and that kind of stuff.
- 13:49I was watching him just thinking what is going on and just, I
- 13:51just thought the whole back four look shaky.
- 13:54But we've had the whole team look shaky as well.
- 13:57And I just was like, what is going on?
- 13:58Because yeah, leads score after 4 minutes and obviously they're
- 14:01going absolutely bonkers in front of us.
- 14:02And I'm just thinking, all right, 4 minutes, you know, it's
- 14:05early. We've got plenty of time here,
- 14:08but we just never looked like getting back into it in that
- 14:11first 45, probably 60 minutes to be honest.
- 14:14No, no, basically until it was 10 men and we go, oh, we should
- 14:17try and attack now I've got 1 less player like that.
- 14:22So that was the annoying thing as well.
- 14:23Just like why when you go down one down like how is there not
- 14:27been housing our reaction? There wasn't a reaction.
- 14:29I you said until the 60th minute when we were even more up
- 14:33against it. Why is it taking a red card for
- 14:35us to wake up like he was so frustrating that, but we did too
- 14:39fair. We did create a few chances kind
- 14:42of in the first half and the keeper made some good saves.
- 14:45And Ahmad, this is the story of his season, to be fair, like
- 14:48gaining of positions, no end product.
- 14:51So he hasn't got, he's got like two goals a season and like one
- 14:54assist and that game showed that like he had a couple of chances
- 14:59were cut in and just tame shots and or the wrong pass so on and
- 15:04so on. I think, yeah, there was chances
- 15:06there. But I've got of the whole kind
- 15:11of balance of the half, if we had gone in two one or two two,
- 15:14then that would have been extremely flattering to us for
- 15:18the whole general play of how leads kind of battered us
- 15:20basically. Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 15:23And it just, he just looked very disconnected up there from my
- 15:26star as well. There was a lot of kind of Ahmad
- 15:28doing some nice pits, as you say, but Cesco didn't really
- 15:31look at it or like on it really. Like Junior, obviously, we love
- 15:35watching him and I think he's always got some magic in him.
- 15:38But it looked like he was getting in the way of Bruno at
- 15:40times and vice versa. It just it looked like they did
- 15:44a job on us, you know, and we just didn't really know how to
- 15:47tackle it. And like you say, until, until
- 15:49the 10 men. I mean, before we do get into
- 15:52the red card, one thing that I did take note, I don't want to
- 15:54call out is that tackle from Martinez on the line to stop.
- 15:57Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
- 15:59Ridiculous. I thought I was.
- 16:01And then again, that was a rare mistake, which kind of sums up
- 16:04our performance again, like a rare mistake from Lemons because
- 16:07he gave the ball to your. But I don't don't really blame
- 16:09Yori for losing it there because he just put him under massive
- 16:11pressure and he was kind of wrong footage as well.
- 16:14So that was Lemon on Lemons. But then, yeah, that matters to
- 16:18get back and and and stop. That was yeah.
- 16:20And again, that's the kind of thing when you think, oh, maybe
- 16:22I'll fire us up a bit. But again, it didn't say.
- 16:27No, no, no. And but just generally that was
- 16:30an amazing bit of defending, but everyone just looked a second
- 16:33off it, you know, giving the ball away, letting them cut
- 16:34through as I was just watching it thinking what is going on
- 16:37here? Literally it's I've missed this
- 16:40and I've come back and it's absolutely awful.
- 16:42Yeah. I thought leads as well.
- 16:45I was just saying with Leeds in the way they were attacking and
- 16:48cutting through US, particularly with their wing backs, because I
- 16:52thought they played really well. Was it Goodmanson?
- 16:54He was he was probably one of their best players.
- 16:57But then actually when they mixed deal from played route
- 17:00one, that worked as well because Calvin Lewin, just everything
- 17:03stuck to him. Like we, I don't know, I've not
- 17:06seen the stats, but I don't know how many, like aerial challenges
- 17:11Yoro would have won versus him or Martinez would have won
- 17:13versus him. And he just, I think we said it
- 17:16in the preview, like if he, if you keep him quiet, you probably
- 17:18keep Lee's quiet. We didn't keep him quiet.
- 17:20Like he was shouting a lot. He was really loud because he
- 17:25was. Yeah, he was ridiculous.
- 17:27Yeah. He was just like everything was
- 17:28just bouncing off him to their players every time.
- 17:31Like we didn't win any second or third balls and that's what cost
- 17:34us. Yeah, massively, massively.
- 17:37But I was going to say like that's against the red card.
- 17:40Let me just give you my perspective.
- 17:41Obviously in the stadium to begin with.
- 17:43No idea, literally just obviously.
- 17:46Still. Yeah.
- 17:48And then we just obviously saw, hold on, what's happening here.
- 17:51And obviously the ref goes over to check it and then we've
- 17:55still, I'm hearing like murmurings around me of maybe an
- 17:58elbow. But on TV what what went on?
- 18:02Like everyone, I think everyone's post said like it's
- 18:06it's super soft and he can't call that a violent conduct.
- 18:10Essentially what he's done. He's already jumped up and he's
- 18:12tried to grab, but he's happened to like grab his head.
- 18:15He's almost it looks like he's felt the hand and almost let go
- 18:18straight away. What he's realized and he I
- 18:21don't think he was trying to go. I'm going to grab how Lewis
- 18:23hair. He's just trying to grab for
- 18:25something as he's fighting for the ball as like cover Lewis
- 18:28elbows are up and stuff like that.
- 18:30And he literally grabbed his hair for about a millisecond and
- 18:34let go and he hasn't yanked it. It's like basically a little
- 18:38stroke and then to call that Vitaconda.
- 18:41I know what the rules are. Obviously if you pull the hair
- 18:43then red card, but there has to be some common sense to it
- 18:46surely to go. For example, I don't think
- 18:50Daniel FARC would be annoyed if that was a yellow card or not or
- 18:54nothing. He wouldn't have been like
- 18:56absolute joke because it's not violent conduct and I don't know
- 19:00if does he get a three match ban because it's violent conduct.
- 19:03I think so, yeah, which is humanity.
- 19:07We can appeal, obviously, and I think we will.
- 19:09I saw in the press conference Tarik said he needs to chat to
- 19:12people. What, you know, I'm sure he will
- 19:14appeal that. But yeah, I mean, I saw Calvert
- 19:17living as well say that kind of. He didn't make the rules, but
- 19:19he'd mentioned that his hair was pulled.
- 19:21But even he looks a bit sheepish about.
- 19:22Yeah, yeah. It's just, he was just, again,
- 19:26it'd been like the previous game of Bournemouth, Like, why again,
- 19:29Again, we didn't deserve to be winning or anything like that.
- 19:31But a big referee decision, again, it just is kind of
- 19:37costing us opportunities rather than, I guess, necessary points.
- 19:40But yeah, it's just so, so soft. Like, I think any team who had
- 19:45that red card against them would be human.
- 19:46And I think no opposition team would be begging for a red card
- 19:50for that. This is a bad pressure.
- 19:52I think the future as well. It's just, yeah.
- 19:56Nonsense. And obviously they are again,
- 19:58like we had no idea in the stadium still like so you
- 20:00couldn't hear the referee actually announce what had
- 20:03happened. So we just knew there was a red
- 20:04card. And then obviously everyone's
- 20:06check checking Twitter and stuff trying to find out what had gone
- 20:09on. But again, just the nonsense of
- 20:11they are kind of ruining the game.
- 20:12But you mentioned it cost us, but actually father from then we
- 20:16were actually a bit better. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 20:19I mean before, before we were better.
- 20:22I had a period, I know it down and flipping always from the
- 20:25Leeds fans passing around us, which is painful, painful.
- 20:31But yeah, we seem to kind of pick up a bit.
- 20:33And then the Bruno Casimiro collaboration happened again
- 20:37with a great goal. Yeah, awful corner and they
- 20:41obviously came out to Bruno and then he obviously whips in and
- 20:44amazing ball, amazing header. Like those two are just on a
- 20:49kind of different because the other one layer which got
- 20:52cleared off the line, I think he did.
- 20:53Was that Casimir as well? I think he was by those two just
- 20:57on a wavelength for the moment and it's a shame it's going to
- 21:00end. But yeah, really good ball,
- 21:03amazing header. And then we did actually started
- 21:06creating more chances and I thought we could have nicked it,
- 21:09particularly because leads just carried on kind of playing an
- 21:13open game, which helped us. If I think towards the last five
- 21:17minutes they started to kind of sit back a bit and pass the ball
- 21:20around. But I think before that we would
- 21:22have, yeah, it's pretty chaotic, which was suiting, suiting our
- 21:27kind of game plan with 10 men. So yeah, I thought we definitely
- 21:31had some chances at the end to nick a draw, I think.
- 21:34And on balance we didn't deserve a draw, but obviously we're
- 21:38taking it. The keeper made some good say.
- 21:41St. Clarence is off the line, Tesco
- 21:43some good, good opportunities and good headers.
- 21:47So yeah, like I would have if we've got a point, it would have
- 21:50felt like a win, definitely. Well, that one sticks in my head
- 21:54from the phone in our side up front all night and Calvary and
- 21:57clearing off the line as well from another Casimir I had a.
- 22:00Yeah, after you just missed that shifted down the renders.
- 22:04Yeah, well, we said in a previous part it's a shame that
- 22:07we don't get the new Casimiro in while Castamero's there for a
- 22:11bit of a handover, because I think he needs to run the
- 22:14training sessions on how to to score headers because we can't
- 22:18lose that that ability we're going to lose.
- 22:21He's just unbelievable. That's his 8th, 8th league goal
- 22:23the season, yeah, and you wouldn't have put it passing
- 22:26together another one or two this year, you'd think.
- 22:29No, he's not. He's not a big fella.
- 22:32He's really is he in terms of height, but he's timing and his
- 22:36desire and you know, he's linked up with Bruno.
- 22:38They need to be. He needs to be running some
- 22:40sessions with the. Rest of the team we need.
- 22:42To keep that, yeah. But but yeah, like you said,
- 22:48obviously it towards well, I was kept saying to my brother as
- 22:50well. I was like, look, it's Leeds,
- 22:52they're going to be panicking. They're a bit all over the
- 22:54place. We've got a chance here to at
- 22:56least draw it. And I think we definitely could
- 22:58have nicked a draw. But as you said, like we, we
- 23:01didn't deserve it at. All there's definitely some
- 23:03good, some good opportunities, good chances, some good saves
- 23:06from their keeper, the one clear off the line.
- 23:09So yeah, we definitely had enough there to Nick to draw,
- 23:13but also in the first half it probably could have been like 4
- 23:15down to be fair. So yeah, like I'm not like
- 23:19obviously I'm pissed off we lost, but it's not like where
- 23:22he's lost his way. Like we didn't deserve to lose,
- 23:24we deserve to lose. We were rubbish.
- 23:26Yeah, to be honest, like I've obviously got so much time for
- 23:29customer for Carrick, sorry, but he has very much LED with the
- 23:33decision and I don't think I understand that he's trying to
- 23:36deflect Disney off. What was it, a really bad
- 23:39performance. But yeah, we can't blame the red
- 23:42card because as I say, if anything is well, it probably
- 23:44games I kick up the ass. But even though it was a was a
- 23:47crap 1 and I also note it down. I think you messaged me.
- 23:50I want to give you the opportunity to.
- 23:52You had the guys listening to Gary Nella, didn't you?
- 23:54Now be careful because obviously he's probably thinking about
- 23:57buying us at some point after the recent news of him.
- 24:00Yeah. So I thought it was amazing
- 24:02punditry use. Perfect.
- 24:03Basically, yeah, yeah, just to be done.
- 24:08Yeah. I don't know.
- 24:09I just think he's just so trying so hard not to be pro united.
- 24:13He becomes over the top negative united.
- 24:16It's just it's just really frustrating to hear a lot of
- 24:19time and like he was he there was someone he was criticizing.
- 24:28Yeah, it's gone ahead. But like, yeah, just more of the
- 24:31same as what we've seen over the last few weeks.
- 24:32Basically like any opportunity to praise anyone but United, he
- 24:36takes it. And any opportunity to criticize
- 24:39a performance from United, he goes really hard on us.
- 24:43To fair last night it was warranted because you were
- 24:45rubbish. But like, it's just a consistent
- 24:48theme. I just don't really understand
- 24:50why it keeps happening. Yeah, he's he's got kind of what
- 24:55he wanted and he's running. So he's got a United man in
- 24:57there playing a system that kind of suits us and everything.
- 25:00So and actually we've been on a bit of an uptick and we've been
- 25:03playing pretty well, obviously, other than last night.
- 25:05So yeah, it's a strange 1. I don't know what he's what he's
- 25:08thinking, but it's not just you. I see a few.
- 25:10Because you can see, you can imagine being negative obviously
- 25:13when the Amarin, even though it's hard at the end of his, all
- 25:15that kind of stuff. But like you said, now it's
- 25:18different. You've got someone in who's
- 25:20performing well, you're still talking in the same rhetoric as
- 25:23you were when Ameren was in and we were finishing 15th and when
- 25:27Taghavism were finishing eighth. In fact, in theory we're going
- 25:29to finish in the Champions League unless something goes
- 25:32really wrong. So why is there not been a
- 25:34change in the way you're talking?
- 25:36Because things are more positive.
- 25:37We are playing better. Obviously there's still, I think
- 25:40everyone. No one's expecting us to go and
- 25:42beat him first of the season, so these losses are going to
- 25:43happen. It's annoying that they kind of
- 25:46come across A10 man in Newcastle and now leads at home.
- 25:49But then I wouldn't obviously do a Chelsea preview later in the
- 25:53week, but you wouldn't put it past us to go there and win and
- 25:57react. And I think there's been no kind
- 26:00of positive praise from him on that.
- 26:02I don't think it's all kind of caveated and noise car.
- 26:04It's new magic. It's just, yeah, it's just
- 26:06frustrating to see it. Yeah, no, totally, totally.
- 26:10Gary, give us some love instead. Get behind your beloved Red like
- 26:14us. You know we need it.
- 26:15And. And then so we will, we will
- 26:18await your offer to buy Reds. I'm sure it's signing e-mail
- 26:21drafts at the moment. Just waiting.
- 26:23I reckon this this video might be the one.
- 26:26Yeah, you check the spam. I'll check the spam, I'll check
- 26:29the spam. We're ready.
- 26:31We're ready, Gary, we're ready right, let's get into player
- 26:36ratings and obviously not a lot of great stuff to talk about,
- 26:39but I'm going to kick us off. So I had a bit of a rant last
- 26:42night Agate, I hate picking out players and obviously it's not
- 26:47his fault that he gets signed by Man United, but I really
- 26:51struggle obviously bringing him on when we're kind of on the up
- 26:54and doing a bit of a destroyer job, I kind of understand.
- 26:57And obviously yesterday with copies injury, someone has to
- 27:00come in. But yeah, I don't think you need
- 27:02to have Castamere and a Garter against Leeds at home.
- 27:05And maybe it could have even been in worse without the two of
- 27:07them. But every time I watch him he
- 27:09just looks like doesn't have it, you know?
- 27:11I mean, there's other qualities to play that position for Man
- 27:13United, like going around he's good.
- 27:15You know what is he the he'll pull power, something the
- 27:17octopus for getting his legs stuck in.
- 27:20But on the ball he just doesn't have that ability to link up
- 27:24play. And so many times yesterday when
- 27:26I was just screaming like a God say just be better without being
- 27:301/2 from stadium point of view I would you see the same.
- 27:33I don't think, I don't think he played badly if you know, I mean
- 27:36like by his level. He wasn't like giving the ball
- 27:39away loads. He wasn't awful be just wasn't
- 27:42what we needed in that in that game, like any.
- 27:46And his shortfalls weren't because of his performance, his
- 27:49short forces, because he doesn't have that in his locker, which
- 27:52is the passing and the passing through the lines.
- 27:54And Lincoln play like everything is a extra touch and normally a
- 27:58sideways pass or backwards pass. And that's just who he is.
- 28:01And then so it's a bit unfair to blame him, I guess for the
- 28:05performance because it's not because he played badly.
- 28:07I don't think he was particularly, I think it was a
- 28:10lot worse people because they can perform better.
- 28:12I just think his level, his bars a lot lower.
- 28:16So he's kind of just at his normal level, which is not good
- 28:19enough for what we need. And I think I I think I missed
- 28:22you before to say I think we missed Kobe a lot.
- 28:25Yeah, just from just from being able to take the ball on a turn
- 28:29and that kind of press resistance and the guy who
- 28:32doesn't have that at all. And I think that was a So it was
- 28:36obvious that we lacking in the field, but not because he's
- 28:41playing badly, because he's just isn't that type of player and he
- 28:44isn't good enough for us. So that level is always going to
- 28:47drop essentially. That's fair.
- 28:50Maybe I'm being a bit harsh. I think when I was thinking as
- 28:52well, I would love to assume Mason Mount on the pitch.
- 28:55I don't know fully where he's at.
- 28:56Obviously I know he's been injured, but I just think he
- 28:58would have offered a bit of energy.
- 28:59I couldn't. Come on.
- 29:02Yeah, yeah, I know. Or or maybe for that one game,
- 29:05you drop Bruno because if Bruno was a bit fatigued, maybe even
- 29:08drop Bruno. Yeah.
- 29:09And then he can play quarterback, which he was doing
- 29:11at the end anyway. He was basically back with Euro
- 29:13trying to ping balls in. So maybe that would have been a
- 29:15better choice. You're right, because but you
- 29:17said like you got, he's there for a very specific type of game
- 29:20where we're basically not going to add the ball and he's there
- 29:23to just trying to nick it and then pass it on.
- 29:26But then that wasn't that type of game.
- 29:28So yeah, maybe that would have been, I think there was a better
- 29:30choice. Obviously it's easy to say that
- 29:32with hindsight, but it feels like character's gone, OK, he's
- 29:36my only ever sentiment slash DM, so I'll just whack him in.
- 29:38But in reality, maybe tactically wise, you can mix it up a little
- 29:42bit. And that probably would have
- 29:43surprised leads as well. If you actually go, yeah,
- 29:46actually Matt's going to sit in the 10 roll.
- 29:48Bruno will drop deep. Or like, I'm not saying you have
- 29:52to check a youngster or anything like that, but yeah, you could
- 29:54have tweaked it. I quite like that idea.
- 29:57Yeah, we just, I think we just needed a bit more quality there,
- 29:59particularly when they were, they were up threatly, they were
- 30:01all over. So, so yeah.
- 30:03And obviously you'd you'd highlighted Mazrawi and Shaw
- 30:05already, but anyone else player rating wise, you want to you
- 30:08want to pick out either good or bad.
- 30:11I don't want to go in on your own because I think he's going
- 30:16to be an amazing player and he's still young and he's probably
- 30:18one of the, it's probably the hardest position to maybe
- 30:20goalkeeper as well, but be a young player because physically
- 30:25you're not there yet. And I think that was the main
- 30:28issue was that this was a really physical game and Howard Lewins
- 30:34very good at being physical and he just got absolutely batted
- 30:37basically. So I'd say I don't want to give
- 30:40him like a really low like 2 out of 10 or anything like that, but
- 30:43it wasn't good. But so far when he has been in
- 30:48the past, like was it versus Southampton, was it Dibley
- 30:51diddling? He actually bust him one day.
- 30:54And since then he's not, he's not been like that's a tricky
- 30:57winger going at him. He's he's not really had that
- 30:59since. So he's learned from that.
- 31:01The only issue this is like he basically just needs to get in
- 31:04the gym. I think get on the roids and
- 31:07beef up a bit. And I think, I think you'll get
- 31:10on the asthma, the asthma stuff like Liverpool.
- 31:14Yeah, exactly. Yeah, I think that's it.
- 31:16I'm not going to go in on him because I think he will be an
- 31:18amazing player and I don't really know what else you could
- 31:21do. Like Aid in Heaven.
- 31:22He's probably a bit more physical, maybe a bit bigger,
- 31:25but he's still not big enough to boss Calvin Lumen.
- 31:30I don't think so. I think you had to play him and
- 31:33Martinez. And let me think who else is
- 31:35rubbish. I hope you just thought Paul
- 31:38Cunha was very quiet. Sorry, Karen.
- 31:40Yeah, No, just on a Euro point, I think he just really
- 31:44highlighted McGuire, didn't it, to be fair.
- 31:46Yeah, yeah. It almost showed that having
- 31:49McGuire next to him is just really helping him as well.
- 31:53Just with that, he's got a bit more of that presence.
- 31:55He's got that experience and you know, Martin is doesn't really
- 31:59have the presence, but he's got experience, but he just it looks
- 32:02like he's a really good partner for Euro.
- 32:05That seems to be the case based on previous games because like
- 32:07you say, there's loads of potential there with Euro and
- 32:10ability and we've seen some really nice performances or bits
- 32:13of performances. But yeah, I know it down as well
- 32:16that it's just you look shaky as name, you understand, But you
- 32:20know, he's a Man United star, so we have to as much as he's
- 32:23young. Yeah.
- 32:25Yeah, exactly. Yeah, if he's if he's not up to
- 32:27it, and I'm not saying he's not up to it, but yeah, it didn't,
- 32:30it wasn't a great one for him last night, but sorry.
- 32:32Yeah, Cunha junior. A bit quiet, everyone.
- 32:34Old all the all the the attacking players were pretty
- 32:37quiet, like Cesco wasn't going to service.
- 32:40He had like I kind of it was let me check my notes.
- 32:44Can't find it. But anyway, at some point there
- 32:46is a ball through and he was basically almost like a
- 32:49one-on-one. I think I might played him
- 32:50through and he just kind of got his the ball stuck in his feet
- 32:52and he kind of had a really tame shot.
- 32:55He had that good header at one point, but he wasn't getting the
- 32:57service. My wife why kind of Notre Dame
- 32:59was. I thought when we play Amad
- 33:01instead of Emblem, oh, we'll be getting more balls whipped in
- 33:05for Cesco. And it wasn't.
- 33:06Again, he was cutting in, cutting in, cutting in and I
- 33:08think that's not what Cesco needs.
- 33:11Again, we've got this big striker and I know he's not all
- 33:14of that. He's our lump.
- 33:15He's rapid and good, good, good on the ball and good at getting
- 33:19behind. But I don't know, there's maybe
- 33:232 thrashes I could think of that got to him and they were both
- 33:26towards the end of the game. I think he's probably Bruno and
- 33:30I might had some really good positions at some points with a
- 33:33bit of space on the wing and every time he tried to cut in
- 33:36into the box. And so it was just like a bit
- 33:39like what we used to say with Hoyland as well.
- 33:41Just he's just not getting enough service.
- 33:44And we have the players now to provide that.
- 33:46They're just I don't know if it's tactical or is it like I
- 33:50can't imagine character saying cutting every every time and
- 33:53don't put the ball into our 6 foot 5 striker like so what's
- 33:57that listen? I still think we need to figure
- 34:00out the left side and the right side properly because I think
- 34:03there's a bit of a hangover obviously from Ameren and 352.
- 34:06But yeah, it's in to that point. I don't think we can keep
- 34:08changing how we play to the Cisco depending on who plays out
- 34:12there. Like you say, you need some
- 34:13consistency so he knows what to do and what to expect as well
- 34:17and. Yeah, he knows what to run.
- 34:18And yeah, yeah. Yeah, and you have to be getting
- 34:22the ball in there because he's so quick, he's so physical.
- 34:24Like just give him the opportunities.
- 34:27You know, I'd say he wasn't really at it last night, but
- 34:29yeah. But then I don't think it was
- 34:31here. I don't think that was necessary
- 34:32on him so much. And then I thought actually,
- 34:35again, slightly critical of with two one down with like 10
- 34:39minutes to go, why not whack on Shay Lacey like we're losing
- 34:43anyway. And then he might whip the ball
- 34:45in. He's because he's really direct.
- 34:47He's a proper winger like he might with a good ball in and
- 34:51Cesco might get on the end of it and it's like we're going to
- 34:53lose anyway. I'd rather lose 31 going for it
- 34:59than two one. It kind of like petering out a
- 35:01bit. So maybe that again, it's a bit
- 35:04of bravery of the substitutions. Maybe again, like I said, why
- 35:07didn't man come on? He's got a good cross on him.
- 35:10So that's again a bit of AI guess, like character criticism
- 35:14is that you know why you're there for me.
- 35:18While you mention it, let's talk about it because we can't always
- 35:21praise the man and he's obviously done so well since he
- 35:23came in. But bit of a bad night for
- 35:25Carrie last night. I think in terms of hindsight,
- 35:28it's a great thing. Now we look at the starting
- 35:30lineup and we got questions, but there was a lot of, you know,
- 35:33for me and people around me last night kind of just shouting for
- 35:36change and changes. And he really kind of held out
- 35:40for a while. And obviously you went back into
- 35:42his technical area and he's speaking to Steve Holland at
- 35:44length. But yeah, not a good night for
- 35:47him last night. No, it's like is there a a Plan
- 35:53B not not seeing one currently because it's same same as the
- 36:00Newcastle game, same as the Everton get by this game as well
- 36:04where like we're going behind. I'm expecting OK, half time.
- 36:09Let's mix it up because nothing showed promise that we were
- 36:13going to turn it around with that same team, but then it was
- 36:15the same team that came out. So you're like, yeah, that's
- 36:19that's why I would like is more change quicker and give them a
- 36:23proper chance to make an impact. And then I'm not saying like
- 36:26bring Shay and AC on at half time, but 10 minutes to go bring
- 36:29him on what? Throw caution to the win.
- 36:31That's what like Fergie always said, I'd rather try and like
- 36:35GO-22 or win 3 two then and then lose 3 or 4 one because at least
- 36:39I've gone for it. And it feels like we're just a
- 36:41bit, he's maybe a bit too cautious and he's just kind of
- 36:45stuck to a plan. I think maybe the fans would get
- 36:47behind him if he just checks on some more attackers because like
- 36:50that's the United way basically and and not and not seeing it.
- 36:55And then I guess the other thing is, yeah, is I think obviously
- 36:59you basically alluded to is you've just played the same
- 37:02setup and you just put in some different players, like you got
- 37:06to have to come in. But was that the right thing to
- 37:09beat leads in hindsight? Obviously not, because we
- 37:11didn't. Could there have been a tactical
- 37:13tweak there? Probably.
- 37:16And again, hindsight's 2020, right?
- 37:18So like you, you'll never know. But I'd like a bit more risk is
- 37:23probably what I'm getting at. Yeah, and let's be honest, we
- 37:27don't know what the decision is going to be.
- 37:28But he's interviewing, isn't he? And these are the times when
- 37:31they know Wilcox, you're going to be looking at going, what's
- 37:33he got when they go tough and. As well.
- 37:38Yeah, sorry, it just brings a few more question marks, doesn't
- 37:41it? And yeah, I don't mind after
- 37:43half time lad, you've got 10 minutes to put it right
- 37:45yourself, but I just think you waited too long to then actually
- 37:49change it. And obviously kind of the red
- 37:52card forced it instead, and we look better for that, but I
- 37:56can't say it was a carrot change that made us a little better,
- 38:00which was a shame. Yeah.
- 38:02All right, let's search on leads and this is probably a segue
- 38:06into it. I have man of the match for you.
- 38:10Even though ACAFOR got the two goals, I'm going to go Calvin
- 38:12Lewin. I just, he just made everything
- 38:15stick and everything kind of went through him and their wing
- 38:19backs got up the pitch because they were confident that the
- 38:22ball would stick to him and he could bring them in.
- 38:25And then I'd probably say also like there's lots of good
- 38:29players like Goodmanson I thought was really good and
- 38:32obviously Okafor scoring two goals, he was good.
- 38:36Aaronson, like you said in the preview, I thought he was, like
- 38:39you said, he was tricky. Basically anyone going down the
- 38:42wing gave us a lot of trouble. So yeah, lots of can't really.
- 38:49They they all played really well.
- 38:51Like everyone was a kind of 789 out of 10 where we were kind of
- 38:55fours and fives. Yeah, bang on.
- 38:58That's I was going to say exactly the same Cal balloon for
- 39:00me. You didn't get the two goals,
- 39:02but when you just have a player who's a thorn in your side for
- 39:05the 90 minutes, you know he didn't do everything right.
- 39:08You. I was just.
- 39:09Yeah, he's going to at least 2. Easy.
- 39:12Yeah, easy. Yeah, that had a.
- 39:16Interesting that he could have been a Man United player.
- 39:19Yeah, the room was a true Yeah, I still Yeah, well, he's going
- 39:23to be so interesting to see what happened in the summer.
- 39:25But I still think we need that that type player on the books
- 39:29that we can bring on and to to mix things up.
- 39:32And as a, as a Plan B, right. So you'd have him like that's
- 39:37the kind of tactical change you need to make as well as have a
- 39:40manager who will actually, it's not working with Brian up front
- 39:44or Cesc up front. Let's bring on a type, a lumpy
- 39:49sticky type and then do that. But there's not, there's not
- 39:53many of them around anymore. That's the thing.
- 39:54So I don't know who that person. Is true, true Wait and that
- 40:00leads generally. You know, we said in the preview
- 40:02that we both we thought and did stay up and I feel we certainly
- 40:06will now three points for them. And not great at all for Spurs,
- 40:11which we'll talk about in a bit. But what do you think about
- 40:14Leeds generally? Sorry.
- 40:16IA bit like I said in the preview, like they were really
- 40:19combative a lot of energy, a lot of fight and which is why I said
- 40:23that I think they would stay up and they showed it all last
- 40:27night and I think they obviously got 6 point cushion now on the
- 40:30on spurs. So yeah, as expected, I think
- 40:34they changed to a 352 like halfway through a game against,
- 40:39I think it's against City and they've not looked back since.
- 40:41And that system seems to work for them a lot better than it
- 40:45worked for us. So yeah, I think they'll be
- 40:49they'll be fine. And I think this victory over
- 40:51over us will also give them a lot more confidence that they
- 40:54can keep those levels of intensity.
- 40:57Then they'll they'll pick up enough points.
- 40:59So they are 36 points. So they probably need a couple
- 41:03more wins to guarantee it. Yeah, can.
- 41:07Can they beat Chelsea and get to the FA Cup final?
- 41:11Based on that, definitely like yeah, and based on Chelsea,
- 41:15yeah, 100%. Like if, if they play like that,
- 41:22I don't I'm Chelsea play lightly on the weekend.
- 41:26Leeds are winning that easy and you imagine at Wembley like the
- 41:30leads fans will be well up for it.
- 41:32And so, and I think, I don't know, Chelsea are in a bit of a
- 41:35weird spot, like a bit of turmoil, like players falling
- 41:39out, like I don't think they're behind David Brent much.
- 41:42So I think that all playing to leads hands as well.
- 41:47Well, as much as we don't want dirty leads to win anything,
- 41:50yeah, I I agree with you. I think there's a there's a
- 41:53chance. Having said that though, we were
- 41:55rubbish last night and then we still a chance that we could
- 41:57have, we could have. So they've got that in him and
- 42:01it could go the other way. But yeah, I think they're as
- 42:04good, as good as safe now. Annoyingly secured it all
- 42:07Trafford after all these years. Yeah, yeah, not, not great.
- 42:14Any positives that we can kind of take from yesterday?
- 42:19The only the only one I can go for is the continued Bruno
- 42:24Casimiro partnership. Other than that nothing.
- 42:29Like no one played well like. No.
- 42:33No, nothing. That's it.
- 42:36Yeah, the positive is. Over.
- 42:38Yeah, it's finished. But yeah, I also wrote down
- 42:42Bruno and Casimiro. It's just so good, such a
- 42:44partnership and we're going to miss it.
- 42:46But all right, all right. And we've done enough negatives
- 42:49and things as well and not a good day at the office or the
- 42:54stadium in my case last night. And let's try and cheer
- 42:57ourselves up a bit and have a little look at some results.
- 43:00Villa drop points. So yeah, 11, which I was happy
- 43:04about. Yeah, good to see that.
- 43:07I think apparently it's quite a back and forth game.
- 43:09Both teams could have nicked the win.
- 43:11Probably a good point for Forrest, particularly with Spurs
- 43:15doing spazzy things, but yeah, good for us for the dropping
- 43:19points. So like, they're still three
- 43:22behind us. Oh no, they're level worse now,
- 43:24aren't they? Yeah.
- 43:27So yeah, good. They didn't win based on.
- 43:32Yeah, based on what we did. Yeah, and City does a favor and
- 43:37did themselves a big favor by beating Chelsea three nil
- 43:41because our mates Arsenal lose because of a dry pitch.
- 43:47Yeah, a bloody dry pitch again. The old dry pitch syndrome.
- 43:52Dry pitch. I hate it when they're dry
- 43:54pitching, especially when it's your home pitch when they're
- 43:56ready dry. Yeah, exactly you.
- 43:58Know these modern stadiums had sprinklers just said yeah
- 44:02they're. Kind of currently.
- 44:06The gift that keeps giving. Like they're just, I think what
- 44:12like obviously that is making it worse with the pens and the tik
- 44:17toks and now Cocker is with a dry pitch.
- 44:19It's like, what are they doing? I still, I genuinely still think
- 44:24they'll win the league. Like I think they'll crawl,
- 44:27crawl over the line and get it. But I mean, I'm I'm enjoying the
- 44:32the the fight and now it's a bit of a touchable fight because
- 44:35obviously it wasn't one last year.
- 44:36So it's nice to see you as well. Obviously we would like to be
- 44:38involved in it but it's nice to see there's a bit of a battle
- 44:41going on. And yeah, the comedy Arsenal
- 44:44fans like I saw another, I saw a bit of Arsene fan TV clip and it
- 44:49was too bad. I can't want the main guys
- 44:51called. But he was like we were rubbish
- 44:53basically in Bournemouth. Played really well and one of
- 44:55the guests was like a bloody referee.
- 44:57He was like, what you talking about the referee for?
- 44:58He's like referee was awful, we should never ref again.
- 45:01He's like, mate, come on, stop, just take the L.
- 45:06Yeah, a little bit like those last night, but it's mad in it.
- 45:09Yeah. I mean, what is it?
- 45:11Tick tock in the stadium pens running about with them dry
- 45:16pitches. Come on.
- 45:17Arsenal, like I'm worried about now is obviously, well, I'm
- 45:19definitely not worried about it. Spurs obviously it lost and West
- 45:22Ham 1/3 nil. So there's a very strong chance
- 45:26now that what I called a long, long time ago is going to happen
- 45:29and it could a little bit be overshadowed by Arsenal
- 45:32completely bottling a lead. Imagine.
- 45:34Yeah, I can't. Be massive, but.
- 45:40There's an archive podcast, it was on the other day, but they
- 45:42were saying what's bigger? I think it's Rio's podcast.
- 45:45What's bigger, Spurs being relegated or Arsenal bottle in
- 45:50it? And I think the Arsenal bottle
- 45:52job will probably kind of get more column inches initially.
- 45:59And they're probably slightly overshadowed there because it is
- 46:01massive if they don't win this, because they're still like, it's
- 46:05still in their hands in a sense that obviously they have to play
- 46:09City. And if they win now, they
- 46:10basically won the league. So he's in their hands.
- 46:13But I don't know, it's just like, what's he going to do this
- 46:17week? Obviously he's gotten their
- 46:19sporting game as well. So yeah, who knows what he's
- 46:22doing. Paint brushes out of some hard.
- 46:27Stay tuned to the circus of Arsenal.
- 46:30But so you think they're going to win it?
- 46:32Do you think they're going to be City at the weekend?
- 46:34No, I think they'll draw and then that's enough for them
- 46:40basically to go on. But then they I've not seen
- 46:44their running so I don't know. They've got, they've both got
- 46:46losses in them. I guess City, the City weren't
- 46:50great against Chelsea in the first half.
- 46:52So maybe if they conceded then it's obviously hard to go back
- 46:54and they back in the second-half.
- 46:56But Chelsea, Chelsea at the moment.
- 46:57So yeah, I don't know. Are you going City win?
- 47:01Say you're going to win it, mate.
- 47:03Say you're going to win it, Yeah, I think they've got their
- 47:05tails up now. They've got Arsenal obviously,
- 47:08which I think they'll win at the sorry at the Etihad and then
- 47:11they've got Burnley, Everton, Brentford, Bournemouth, tricky
- 47:16one away, Palace at home and then Villa at home.
- 47:19They are very you can see them winning all those too fair.
- 47:23I think Arsenal have just opened the door.
- 47:26We've actually got. Yeah.
- 47:34They've got to fair the fixtures on paper are easier, so after
- 47:38City they've got Newcastle at home, Fulham at home, West Ham
- 47:41away, Burnley at home and Palace away.
- 47:44But I can even not imagine that last fixture of the season,
- 47:47Palace away being a being a tricky 1.
- 47:50Yeah, I guess their teams are playing, don't have much to play
- 47:54for over the West Ham, the rest of the kind of safe and not
- 47:57really charging for Europe. So that might play into their
- 47:59hands. Yeah, that might save them.
- 48:03But yeah, this game, obviously, this weekend is massive.
- 48:05So yeah, whoever obviously wins that will probably go on to win
- 48:08it. Yeah.
- 48:12But I'm here for the chaos. It's mad in it.
- 48:17They've definitely just really invited see.
- 48:20So Sunday is going to be interesting.
- 48:22I'll definitely be tuning into that.
- 48:24And then yeah, just to mention of deserve his first game.
- 48:26We just we touch on it quickly, but yeah, I lost 1 nails to
- 48:29Sunderland and then West Ham in the three nil win over Wolves.
- 48:32So right in the thick of it. Deserve a straight off the off
- 48:36the bat. Yeah, I saw I was listening to
- 48:38on the radio and Christian Romero's out first the season
- 48:45and he he injured him, he got injured by his keeper like
- 48:49coming out, they were showing the ball and he smashed his head
- 48:52into his knee and he got concussed and he went off
- 48:54injured. It's like they've had so many
- 48:56injuries. It's like obviously it's when it
- 48:58rains it pours. So I just I think they think
- 49:03they're done like and that's the Zerbie.
- 49:05Can they just like assume it leads, leads have that kind of
- 49:09grit and fight in them. I don't see that with Spurs.
- 49:11They're just a bit nice. Yeah, now I think obviously I'm
- 49:16not changing my mind from what I called ages ago.
- 49:18I just they've got some really different games as well.
- 49:21They've got Bright and next Wolves, massive game base at
- 49:26Wolves, then they've got Villa away, they've got leads at home.
- 49:29We've just done us. They've got Chelsea away and
- 49:31then they've got Everton at home.
- 49:33So that's tough running that. Yeah, the Wolves 1 is probably
- 49:36the only one. You think they might pick up
- 49:40points, but I don't know. Yeah, I think they're in
- 49:43trouble. Good man, right?
- 49:47Well, let's leave it there. Terrible night for United, but
- 49:52also terrible for some other teams as well.
- 49:54So makes us feel a little bit better.
- 49:57My saving grace, I hope, is that this is just a bit of a kick up
- 50:01the ass now and obviously we'll do a Chelsea preview later in
- 50:04the week. But Carrick, this is where we
- 50:06need to see it. You know, we need a reaction and
- 50:09really, really want to scare dogs.
- 50:10If we can win there, that's a huge result.
- 50:13So fingers, fingers crossed. What do you guys think?
- 50:17Let us know about everything we've discussed.
- 50:19What do you think about last night?
- 50:20What do you think about the title race?
- 50:22The Spurs going down? What do you think about Chelsea?
- 50:25Obviously watch out for that preview, make sure you are
- 50:29subscribed and following so you don't miss the thing and we will
- 50:32catch you in the next one.
