  Speaker 1: this Tarot Tuesdays, then you could, it's been chaotic. So

  Speaker 1: here was my try. I was learning how to do Tarot. Now,

  Speaker 1: do I need Tarot? No, but I like to improve
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: my craft. I always like to learn new things. Oracle,
• 1:23
  Speaker 1: I've been doing for years. And if you listened to
• 1:25
  Speaker 1: the podcast last week, you know that Oracle, I feel
• 1:28
  Speaker 1: like is spirit communication. whereas tarot is more psychic. So
• 1:33
  Speaker 1: I kind of wanted to just tap into more of
• 1:35
  Speaker 1: the tarot because I, if you know me, have ADHD
• 1:39
  Speaker 1: and I talk crazily fast and I do not have
• 1:43
  Speaker 1: great communication skills, except for when it comes to readings.

  Speaker 1: But even that, I can be like, if the spirit's
• 1:50
  Speaker 1: all over the place, I can be all over the
• 1:52
  Speaker 1: place too. So I'm really trying to hone in on
• 1:54
  Speaker 1: my psychic communication skills. And so I decided I was
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: going to try and do tarot. And I thought, well,
• 2:01
  Speaker 1: how fun would it be? Because I saw this other medium,
• 2:04
  Speaker 1: like pull cards for people. And so I thought, how
• 2:07
  Speaker 1: fun would it be to learn tarot and just do
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: these little card pullings every once in a while? But
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: what happens to me is I get on and I
• 2:15
  Speaker 1: try and do the tarot readings and there's lots of
• 2:19
  Speaker 1: people on. And so there's all these questions and everybody
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: commenting and I get distracted. Yeah. And when I do
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: tap into people, spirit comes through. Their ancestors come through,
• 2:31
  Speaker 1: their loved ones come through. So it's hard for me
• 2:34
  Speaker 1: to focus on the tarot cards themselves, which is kind
• 2:38
  Speaker 1: of crazy because the reason why you do tarot in
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: the first place is because you want to tap into
• 2:41
  Speaker 1: your intuition. So I'm kind of going backwards. I don't
• 2:45
  Speaker 1: have a problem with the intuition part. My problem is,
• 2:48
  Speaker 1: is I kind of just wanted to learn tarot and
• 2:49
  Speaker 1: I thought it would be fun to do it with
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: my spunksters, with you guys. Hello, spunksters. I forgot to

  Speaker 1: say hello. but it's not working out very well. It

  Speaker 1: is okay. And it's fun. And it's been fun to
• 3:02
  Speaker 1: hang out. It's just a little chaotic. So I'm tweaking

  Speaker 1: it a little bit and I'm going to make it.

  Speaker 1: So I think I'm going to go full on spirits.

  Speaker 1: I'm going to get rid of the cards, do spunky

  Speaker 1: spirit live, um, once a week, and we're going to

  Speaker 1: tap into spirits. My problem is I got to figure
• 3:19
  Speaker 1: out how to just focus on one person instead of
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: like looking at the comments the whole time. and getting
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: validation from the comments. Because I'll be like, this is
• 3:27
  Speaker 1: what I feel. There's a grandma around you or a
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: mom around you. And then I'll have to wait for
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: the comments to come back up. And it's hard because
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: I'm doing Facebook and Instagram separately. And so I got
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: to figure that out. I'm using StreamYard, but it's only
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: doing Facebook. It's harder with StreamYard on Instagram because it
• 3:46
  Speaker 1: doesn't show the comments. So that's why I got to
• 3:48
  Speaker 1: figure out how to pull in people on the camera.
• 3:51
  Speaker 1: And I know they do it on TikTok. But I
• 3:53
  Speaker 1: don't love TikTok. Mediums are mean to each other in TikTok.

  Speaker 1: I feel like the energy there is ruthless and mean
• 3:59
  Speaker 1: and I don't like that. So we'll figure it out.

  Speaker 1: I'll figure it out and we'll come back and it'll

  Speaker 1: called crazy chaos week, but the great thing about chaos

  Speaker 1: and crazy is that the magic happens. in the chaos, right?

  Speaker 1: Like the magic happens. Sometimes the chaotic weeks are the
• 5:50
  Speaker 1: biggest magical weeks ever. In fact, that's crazy because I
• 5:55
  Speaker 1: just started writing a book and on chapter eight, and
• 5:59
  Speaker 1: I talk about how the chaos, I grew up in
• 6:01
  Speaker 1: the chaos, but it's what created the magic. It's what
• 6:04
  Speaker 1: created who I am today. And so, so this week
• 6:08
  Speaker 1: can be chaotic because we have Samhain and we have
• 6:12
  Speaker 1: Halloween and we have the full moon. And we have
• 6:15
  Speaker 1: Mercury retrograde. And so it may seem like it's a lot.
• 6:19
  Speaker 1: And that's probably why we got the death card in
• 6:22
  Speaker 1: Carrie Connects, because we're trying to let go of something.
• 6:25
  Speaker 1: Because Samhain and this time of year is a time
• 6:28
  Speaker 1: of letting go. It's the letting go season. So I'm
• 6:31
  Speaker 1: sure most of you know about full moons because we
• 6:33
  Speaker 1: have them all the time. It was the Hunter's full
• 6:35
  Speaker 1: moon on Monday. And I'm sure a lot of you
• 6:38
  Speaker 1: know about Mercury retrograde. It's when things kind of go
• 6:40
  Speaker 1: chaotic and and electronics are weird and things that could
• 6:45
  Speaker 1: communication systems are weird. And I'm sure all of you
• 6:48
  Speaker 1: know about Halloween. And so we're going to talk a
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: little bit about Samhain. It's, it's spelled like Samhain, S-A-M-H-A-I-N,
• 6:59
  Speaker 1: but it's, and it kind of ties in with Halloween
• 7:03
  Speaker 1: because it is a pagan holiday, but I just thought
• 7:06
  Speaker 1: it was cool because, um, Because Halloween is based off
• 7:12
  Speaker 1: of it. And I'll tell you how. So Samhain is
• 7:14
  Speaker 1: the summer's end. So it's an ancestral thing. It's a
• 7:18
  Speaker 1: Celtic thing. And it's kind of a beautiful thing. And
• 7:22
  Speaker 1: I love it. And it feels right to me. And
• 7:25
  Speaker 1: so I want to talk about it. But it's a
• 7:26
  Speaker 1: festival that used to have. And it starts at sunset
• 7:30
  Speaker 1: of October 31st, which is when we go trick-or-treating, to
• 7:34
  Speaker 1: November 1st. And it's the start of the winter. So
• 7:38
  Speaker 1: it's a celebration of the darker part of the year.
• 7:42
  Speaker 1: So the darker part of the year, I thought that
• 7:44
  Speaker 1: was interesting too, because sometimes there's so much beauty in
• 7:48
  Speaker 1: the dark, right? Like beauty in the darkness. And so
• 7:52
  Speaker 1: I kind of feel like it's the leaves, like the
• 7:55
  Speaker 1: leaves coming off the trees, the leaving. It's like the
• 7:58
  Speaker 1: letting go, like the leaves let go of their trees
• 8:00
  Speaker 1: and we start over. We have a rest period of
• 8:03
  Speaker 1: winter and then So that's why I kind of always
• 8:06
  Speaker 1: feel like my new year starts around now too. It's
• 8:09
  Speaker 1: always been like that for me. The tradition is a
• 8:14
  Speaker 1: time when the veil between spirit and human worlds grows thin.
• 8:20
  Speaker 1: And I thought, so we all kind of knew that.
• 8:23
  Speaker 1: That's what everybody says. So if you watched anything on,
• 8:26
  Speaker 1: if you're watching my, if you're on social media, you
• 8:28
  Speaker 1: saw all the posts about your pets. That was the night.
• 8:32
  Speaker 1: So the pets actually came a night sooner. Or, but
• 8:35
  Speaker 1: it's the veil is thinner. Now, I don't feel like
• 8:39
  Speaker 1: the veil's ever thinner, but I feel like the veil's
• 8:44
  Speaker 1: thin all the time. But some people might actually feel it.
• 8:46
  Speaker 1: It might be the energy. And I got to tell
• 8:48
  Speaker 1: you something that I heard. So this is just, I
• 8:50
  Speaker 1: just want you to know, this could be two different opinions.
• 8:52
  Speaker 1: I was listening to a podcast and I think his
• 8:55
  Speaker 1: name is Billy Carsons. And he said that people having
• 8:59
  Speaker 1: the psychic abilities or the communication or special gifts Are
• 9:03
  Speaker 1: there God-given right? I 100% believe that. I do. I
• 9:10
  Speaker 1: feel like we all have this. I don't think I'm
• 9:12
  Speaker 1: better or higher or more superior than anybody. And I
• 9:16
  Speaker 1: don't feel like I'm inferior to anybody. We all have
• 9:20
  Speaker 1: this God-given right to communicate to our ancestors, with our ancestors,
• 9:24
  Speaker 1: with our God. It's our God-given right. See, here I
• 9:28
  Speaker 1: am going off on a tangent. To have these spiritual
• 9:31
  Speaker 1: experiences and not live through somebody else's. But then in
• 9:34
  Speaker 1: the same day, I listen to another medium give a
• 9:37
  Speaker 1: talk and say, yeah, we can all have these abilities,
• 9:42
  Speaker 1: but not everyone should do it professionally, which I don't know.
• 9:45
  Speaker 1: I don't know about that. I don't know about, I mean,
• 9:47
  Speaker 1: if it's our God-given right. But I guess everybody can
• 9:51
  Speaker 1: be a doctor if they want to, but not everybody
• 9:53
  Speaker 1: should be. I don't know. I just know that everybody,
• 9:58
  Speaker 1: nobody's special. Nobody's, I mean, we are all special, right?

  Speaker 1: But nobody's like, this is, everybody's right. So when I,
• 10:06
  Speaker 1: this also kind of gets me off on a tangent
• 10:09
  Speaker 1: about reading. So when I give a reading, like a
• 10:11
  Speaker 1: medium's number one, most biggest mistake is interpretation. Any medium,
• 10:17
  Speaker 1: not just me, every medium. The number one mistake is interpretation.
• 10:22
  Speaker 1: So if you're at a medium, if you're getting a
• 10:25
  Speaker 1: reading and the interpretation, she or he gives you an
• 10:29
  Speaker 1: interpretation of what they think it is and you feel
• 10:31
  Speaker 1: like it's something else, you go with yours because more
• 10:33
  Speaker 1: than likely, you know the spirit better that has come through.
• 10:36
  Speaker 1: You understand it and 100% you get to interpret it.
• 10:41
  Speaker 1: So I tell my people all the time, if you
• 10:42
  Speaker 1: interpret something differently, it's probably what you're interpreting because I'm
• 10:46
  Speaker 1: just the seer. I'm just the one who sees all
• 10:48
  Speaker 1: the signs and the symbols and feels the things. And
• 10:50
  Speaker 1: so I'm interpreting it for you. So back to Samhain.

  Speaker 1: That was my little break of my rant. Traditions. So
• 11:00
  Speaker 1: the spirits. Okay. So they also do not just spirits cross,
• 11:04
  Speaker 1: not your ancestors, but fairies and like evil spirits. So
• 11:11
  Speaker 1: all spirits, all ancestors and fairies. They said fairies. I
• 11:15
  Speaker 1: don't know why they wouldn't say like unicorns and stuff
• 11:17
  Speaker 1: like that. Maybe they all just come, right? So, and
• 11:22
  Speaker 1: they would do it by having a big bonfire because
• 11:25
  Speaker 1: they would relight, like bring light into the dark of
• 11:28
  Speaker 1: the year. So I love that. So if you want
• 11:31
  Speaker 1: to like kind of build a bridge between you and
• 11:34
  Speaker 1: your ancestors, you can light the candle. I think that
• 11:36
  Speaker 1: that's why candles are lit for loved ones too. And
• 11:39
  Speaker 1: they have a big feast or offering. And I love that. So,
• 11:44
  Speaker 1: And get this, people would wear costumes to hide from
• 11:49
  Speaker 1: the malevolent spirits, the mean spirits. So they weren't like
• 11:53
  Speaker 1: dressing up to be evil. They were hiding from the
• 11:58
  Speaker 1: evil spirits because they didn't want them to know who
• 12:01
  Speaker 1: they were. Isn't it crazy? And then now at Halloween,
• 12:05
  Speaker 1: people think we're dressing up as the evil spirits or
• 12:08
  Speaker 1: dressing up isn't, shouldn't be allowed or whatever. So I
• 12:12
  Speaker 1: thought that was really interesting. Um, and also too, they
• 12:17
  Speaker 1: would use turnip lanterns as to fight off, to scare
• 12:22
  Speaker 1: off the evil spirits. So they would put candles inside turnips,
• 12:25
  Speaker 1: kind of like how we do with jack-o'-lanterns now. So
• 12:30
  Speaker 1: that's why the pumpkins, now this is what I read
• 12:33
  Speaker 1: on Wikipedia and I researched, but, um, so that's some
• 12:37
  Speaker 1: of the things. So it's kind of like Halloween is
• 12:40
  Speaker 1: kind of the same thing as Samhain. It's just kind
• 12:43
  Speaker 1: of different. Um, and pagan is just loving the earth.
• 12:48
  Speaker 1: Like I, like the more I look at it and
• 12:51
  Speaker 1: the more I kind of see, I've been doing this
• 12:53
  Speaker 1: cool thing with mystic misfits. And, um, I think it's
• 12:58
  Speaker 1: the pagan, they have the year of the will. And
• 13:02
  Speaker 1: so I've been getting a box every month because of
• 13:04
  Speaker 1: the different celebrations. And it's actually cool because they'll put
• 13:08
  Speaker 1: in there like this, this holiday or what holiday it was. Um,
• 13:12
  Speaker 1: and they had that one. And then they had another one,
• 13:15
  Speaker 1: Moab or Moabah or something. And I love it. I
• 13:19
  Speaker 1: love learning about it. I love learning. But I love
• 13:22
  Speaker 1: learning about ancient stuff, spirits, mediumship. That's why I'm doing
• 13:28
  Speaker 1: tarot because I love learning about it. Now, just because
• 13:30
  Speaker 1: you learn about it doesn't mean you always have to
• 13:32
  Speaker 1: do it, right? You just can learn about it. And
• 13:34
  Speaker 1: you take what resonates with you and leave what doesn't.
• 13:37
  Speaker 1: And you have your own spiritual experiences. So that's what
• 13:40
  Speaker 1: I love. Okay, so the next one. Let's see. Oh, yes,
• 13:46
  Speaker 1: this was to honor. So Halloween. So Samhain was really
• 13:50
  Speaker 1: to honor your ancestors. So this is a perfect time
• 13:53
  Speaker 1: of the year to just honor. I mean, we want
• 13:55
  Speaker 1: to honor our ancestors all the time, but I'm not
• 13:57
  Speaker 1: kidding you. If you watch Coco or you watch Mulan,
• 14:02
  Speaker 1: they're so big into ancestry. It is a thing. Your
• 14:05
  Speaker 1: ancestors are guiding you, directing you. It is a thing.
• 14:09
  Speaker 1: And I love it so much. And I can just
• 14:12
  Speaker 1: feel it when spirits come through for For readings. So
• 14:15
  Speaker 1: the way you can honor your ancestor is just to
• 14:17
  Speaker 1: light a candle and bring out their picture or their photograph,
• 14:22
  Speaker 1: wear their jewelry, talk to them. They love it when
• 14:25
  Speaker 1: you talk to them. They really, really do. Because that
• 14:27
  Speaker 1: makes them know you know that they're around. And talk
• 14:30
  Speaker 1: to them out loud. I know people might think you're crazy,
• 14:32
  Speaker 1: but who cares? So anyways, I just kind of thought
• 14:35
  Speaker 1: it was interesting that Halloween and Samhain were so much
• 14:41
  Speaker 1: the same. And that it's doable, right? That it's doable.
• 14:47
  Speaker 1: It's kind of cool that we honor our ancestors this week.
• 14:51
  Speaker 1: And it's not an evil thing. It's not an evil thing.
• 14:54
  Speaker 1: It's a beautiful thing. I don't know where... I know
• 14:58
  Speaker 1: that Halloween probably got its evil look at it because
• 15:03
  Speaker 1: they were wearing costumes to ward off evil spirits. And
• 15:05
  Speaker 1: now it's become something different. We've changed it into this
• 15:09
  Speaker 1: scary thing that it's not... It's not, it's a beautiful, um,
• 15:15
  Speaker 1: it's a beautiful thing. I think that here's the thing.
• 15:18
  Speaker 1: Our souls are eternal. Your soul is eternal. My soul
• 15:23
  Speaker 1: is eternal. Our ancestors souls are eternal. We're not going anywhere.
• 15:27
  Speaker 1: We're going to be around for eternal eternity. And, and they,
• 15:34
  Speaker 1: and we go through our souls, have certain souls that like,
• 15:39
  Speaker 1: I mean, we like, we have certain souls that we
• 15:41
  Speaker 1: feel like we've known forever. We have certain souls that
• 15:44
  Speaker 1: we feel like we belong with and we've gone through
• 15:47
  Speaker 1: other lifetimes with. And I think that's such a beautiful thing.
• 15:51
  Speaker 1: And just because a soul no longer has a body
• 15:57
  Speaker 1: doesn't mean they're done communicating with you. Doesn't mean they're
• 16:02
  Speaker 1: gone forever. They feel gone physically, but they're trying their
• 16:08
  Speaker 1: best to communicate with you in their new, without a body,
• 16:13
  Speaker 1: without a body. And they're at a different frequency. And
• 16:16
  Speaker 1: just like a dog whistle, we can't hear that frequency
• 16:19
  Speaker 1: very often. So they leave us little signs and symbols,
• 16:23
  Speaker 1: little things to let us know that they're around. And
• 16:27
  Speaker 1: this time of year is supposed to be the most
• 16:30
  Speaker 1: beautiful time of year. And it's supposed to be the
• 16:33
  Speaker 1: most the, the, the most awesomest time of year to
• 16:36
  Speaker 1: communicate with you because communicate with them because the veil
• 16:39
  Speaker 1: is thin, but look at how we've turned it around.
• 16:43
  Speaker 1: It's you make it to be something evil, something that's not, um,
• 16:48
  Speaker 1: that's not okay. And people shun it and get scared. And,
• 16:53
  Speaker 1: and it is fun to get scared, but the bottom
• 16:55
  Speaker 1: of the barrel, the bottom of it, the end of
• 16:58
  Speaker 1: the day, um, it's just about communicating with your loved
• 17:01
  Speaker 1: ones and sure. sometimes some lower frequencies cross and get
• 17:06
  Speaker 1: it crossed in the crosshairs. But honestly, if you know,
• 17:09
  Speaker 1: if you knew how powerful you were, do you knew
• 17:12
  Speaker 1: the power you held and the power that your ancestors
• 17:15
  Speaker 1: have held? You would be amazed. I have to tell you, I,
• 17:19
  Speaker 1: you know, being a medium, I did have, I do,
• 17:21
  Speaker 1: I do have a compassion and empathy because my, my
• 17:23
  Speaker 1: father passed in 1999 and I get that. And so
• 17:29
  Speaker 1: I get the empathy. I get it when people And
• 17:33
  Speaker 1: I felt, I felt him a lot. But when, um,
• 17:37
  Speaker 1: Allie passed, that was different. Um, she was a, she
• 17:42
  Speaker 1: was a force to be reckoned with on earth. Like
• 17:44
  Speaker 1: she was the strongest manifester. She loved everybody. And I'm
• 17:48
  Speaker 1: not exaggerating because you know how a lot of people
• 17:51
  Speaker 1: like when they pass, they get this perfection persona about them,
• 17:54
  Speaker 1: put on them. You think it had been like, like
• 17:56
  Speaker 1: my dad was an alcoholic and he struggled and he
• 17:59
  Speaker 1: was the nicest man when he was an But when
• 18:02
  Speaker 1: he passed, we put this perfection persona on him. He
• 18:05
  Speaker 1: could do no wrong. He was great. It was hard.
• 18:09
  Speaker 1: It was hard growing up with an alcoholic. And he
• 18:13
  Speaker 1: was a good man, but he had some alcohol issues.
• 18:17
  Speaker 1: And Allie wasn't perfect by any means. But man, she
• 18:20
  Speaker 1: was the biggest cheerleader. She loved everybody. She was homecoming
• 18:25
  Speaker 1: queen and princess and duchess for three years. Everyone loved her.
• 18:30

  Speaker 1: the Tuesdays, because Allie was there cheering me on. Because

  Speaker 1: I did none of that before Allie's passing. And it's like,

  Speaker 1: she was like, I'm telling you, Carrie, you can do this.

  Speaker 1: And so anyways, that's kind of a tangent too. But

  Speaker 1: What a beautiful time. What a beautiful time of year.

  Speaker 1: feel like it's evil and ugly. And it's not. It

  Speaker 1: Thanksgiving is great because we give thanks. We give thanks

  Speaker 1: the most beautiful part is really Samhain and Halloween. And

  Speaker 1: to get to feel our ancestors closer to us. And
