- 0:31Speaker 2: from I was never driving.
- 0:34Speaker 1: I was driving.
- 0:34Speaker 2: I was driving two times. That was never my fault.
- 0:36Speaker 3: I never I didn't think about all the many actions
- 0:38Speaker 3: that you've been I was thinking of the one from
- 0:39Speaker 3: high school, think of the five the car.
- 0:42Speaker 4: I'm sorry to cut you off. All of y'all met
- 0:45Speaker 4: in high.
- 0:45Speaker 5: School, grade grade school, middle school, high school, year above.
- 0:50Speaker 5: I knew of them in high school.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I've known this is one in the early so
- 0:54Speaker 3: we've known each other since what fourth third, fourth, four fifth.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Grade, fourth fifth grade.
- 0:59Speaker 3: He came along in seventh, eighth grade, and he was
- 1:02Speaker 3: always a year above us. But I didn't really start
- 1:04Speaker 3: talking to him to like college, college years.
- 1:07Speaker 1: But he's always been above.
- 1:08Speaker 4: So yeah, I'm not beautiful.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Yeah I like that. Since we're what's up, everybody?
- 1:15Speaker 3: This is not that serious podcast, the greatest podcast in
- 1:18Speaker 3: the world.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I happen to be one of your hosts.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Large Michael Keenan's in the building.
- 1:25Speaker 5: Lamar aka Dr Walfle aka La and a bottle.
- 1:31Speaker 3: All right, and we are here in New York again.
- 1:34Speaker 3: I know, I vowed never to come here again, but
- 1:38Speaker 3: they just keep pulling me back into this cesspool. And
- 1:43Speaker 3: you know, because because because this is where the good
- 1:46Speaker 3: guests are at. Apparently you gotta smell a little pe
- 1:51Speaker 3: to get the good guests.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I guess that's just how that's how God deals in things.
- 2:01Speaker 3: It got for your podcast, got smelled urine and have
- 2:04Speaker 3: an African person trying to sell you some apple products outside.
- 2:07Speaker 1: The door culture culture also that's but they.
- 2:16Speaker 4: Well, to me, it's like, yo, there's the worst people
- 2:18Speaker 4: stealing and they're using the money for working absolutely right.
- 2:22Speaker 1: You know.
- 2:22Speaker 3: You know Tim Cook is stealing from all those kids
- 2:25Speaker 3: in the in those labor camps.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Talk about it.
- 2:28Speaker 3: I guess yeah, I'm looking at you too, you know it. Anyway,
- 2:33Speaker 3: last time we were here, we had rainy.
- 2:36Speaker 1: And now we have.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Another member of the Victory like podcast, missus Liz Bell.
- 2:43Speaker 4: Yes, sir, thank you guys for having me. Just so
- 2:51Speaker 4: the listeners know. They don't allow women to use the
- 2:53Speaker 4: buy froom hair. They don't give us water. It took
- 2:56Speaker 4: them forty minutes to open the door. There's like a
- 2:58Speaker 4: lot of weird shit happening. I'm not gonna say it's misogyny,
- 3:01Speaker 4: but something's happening.
- 3:03Speaker 1: And they say something. They say the good old days
- 3:05Speaker 1: are gone. New York might be all right.
- 3:12Speaker 3: It might be you know, Lizabeth brought the entire family
- 3:16Speaker 3: with man shout out to y'all, and I just I
- 3:22Speaker 3: never realized, like I see y'all on the internet obviously, yeah,
- 3:26Speaker 3: and it's like I didn't Expectell to be here.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Said that, right, But I was.
- 3:33Speaker 3: Like, oh, ship, I have seen y'all videos together because
- 3:36Speaker 3: I never I didn't put y'all two together until I
- 3:39Speaker 3: seen him coming the back and I remember the video.
- 3:42Speaker 3: I was like, oh ship, their siblings for real? And
- 3:45Speaker 3: then then the the the icing on top we.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Got my mind the building.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Yeah, oh my god, I didn't see I didn't watch
- 3:55Speaker 3: that video him on the cat, on the on the
- 4:00Speaker 3: on the table eating.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Apples, get money. Now.
- 4:04Speaker 3: I don't watch his mama smack him in the back
- 4:06Speaker 3: of hand so many times I can feel it on
- 4:09Speaker 3: my head.
- 4:09Speaker 4: Yeah too, Like you think she can't reach from him,
- 4:13Speaker 4: but she could.
- 4:15Speaker 1: She can probably reach me right now.
- 4:16Speaker 3: That's why I'm not cussing as much as I usual.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I was like, you know, she might pop me from
- 4:21Speaker 3: over there. I tune it down, but yeah, tell everybody
- 4:24Speaker 3: who you are, what you do.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Oh, my name is Lisabell Ortis. I'm an author, I'm
- 4:28Speaker 4: a writer, I'm a podcaster. You know, I'm all around.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Honestly, that's lovely.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, York.
- 4:39Speaker 3: So what type of writing you gets? You write books?
- 4:40Speaker 3: You write like substack.
- 4:42Speaker 4: Well, I haven't started a substack, no, I yeah, I haven't.
- 4:46Speaker 4: But I published my first book called Let's Talk About It,
- 4:49Speaker 4: which is just like uncovering a lot of generational trauma
- 4:53Speaker 4: and a lot of the ship that immigrants and Caribbean
- 4:56Speaker 4: people face come into the States, and also like what
- 5:00Speaker 4: the children of immigrants have to go through in this country.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Yeah, and what was the right process for that?
- 5:06Speaker 4: Like painful as fuck. It's like it's writing that comes
- 5:12Speaker 4: from shit. I don't even think it comes from me.
- 5:15Speaker 4: I think my lineage just has like a story to tell,
- 5:19Speaker 4: and I'm forced to kind of tell that story because
- 5:21Speaker 4: I can. So it's like it is painful, but it's
- 5:24Speaker 4: also very beautiful to be able to bring words to
- 5:28Speaker 4: feelings that people don't know how to categorize. So that's
- 5:32Speaker 4: my kind of And I've also been working on a
- 5:34Speaker 4: short film for like the last four years.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Really.
- 5:37Speaker 4: Yeah, it's about the same thing, intergenerational trauma, how immigrants
- 5:43Speaker 4: migrate to this country, what they have to go through
- 5:45Speaker 4: in this country when they do it, and then what
- 5:48Speaker 4: the children kind of have to, like, the children of
- 5:51Speaker 4: immigrants here have to start in entire new life because
- 5:55Speaker 4: the world that their parents teaching that are teaching them
- 5:58Speaker 4: doesn't exist in the United States. And so it's kind
- 6:01Speaker 4: of like just telling a story for us.
- 6:03Speaker 1: You know.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Okay, so you are not you you you didn't immigrate
- 6:09Speaker 3: from somewhere else or you were born here though.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I was born here. My parents came in. Uh
- 6:15Speaker 4: it was like eighty seven or eighty eight or eighties,
- 6:18Speaker 4: and yeah, the rest of my family just pulled up
- 6:21Speaker 4: to But I still have a lot of family in
- 6:23Speaker 4: the Dominican Republic too.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Nice okay, y'alls and barrels back.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Oh d we got a box in the crib right now,
- 6:30Speaker 4: We got one right now, ready to go.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Tell you that.
- 6:33Speaker 3: I think that's just like, that's a phenomenon that I
- 6:36Speaker 3: just never I just met my selfishness will not allow
- 6:39Speaker 3: me to do it.
- 6:40Speaker 4: That's what I'm telling you. It's a privilege, it's a
- 6:42Speaker 4: privilege to be able to do that because you go
- 6:44Speaker 4: to the R. From my experience, it was like my
- 6:47Speaker 4: mom when I was a kid, she used to pack
- 6:48Speaker 4: little shit. She think I would have noticed, like, bro,
- 6:51Speaker 4: I know my shit is.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Missing because I've seen a lot of people talk to them.
- 6:56Speaker 3: They be like, oh yeah, they just not My sneakers
- 6:58Speaker 3: are going, yeah, why haven't seen where the.
- 7:01Speaker 4: Or like toys, you know, like Christmas, Christmas it's March.
- 7:06Speaker 4: The little toys that you would have like laying around
- 7:09Speaker 4: the crib. And then when I went to d R,
- 7:11Speaker 4: because I used to be upset about it, but then
- 7:12Speaker 4: I went to d R and I've seen a kid
- 7:15Speaker 4: tie a string to a rock and that was his toy,
- 7:19Speaker 4: like he was playing. He was like walking. I know
- 7:21Speaker 4: you remember that because we was both like, yo, that's
- 7:22Speaker 4: fucking crazy. And then you go to d R and
- 7:26Speaker 4: you know how many times are we driving and you'll
- 7:28Speaker 4: see somebody without one leg just hopping because they can't
- 7:31Speaker 4: afford crutches. They don't have crutches. So it's like normal
- 7:34Speaker 4: ship that you probably got in storage and you just
- 7:36Speaker 4: don't use. You don't it's just collecting dust to somebody
- 7:39Speaker 4: else that sh is a lifesaver.
- 7:40Speaker 2: So yeah, I got a few pairs of crutches at
- 7:42Speaker 2: the house I send.
- 7:43Speaker 4: I'm telling you my mom got a foundation.
- 7:45Speaker 2: So I never even thought of that. To me, I
- 7:47Speaker 2: never thought about that. Yeah, I know, you know, the
- 7:50Speaker 2: local salvation army get a little tax right off?
- 7:53Speaker 1: Cool?
- 7:54Speaker 4: Yeah, and then they said I shouldn't keep the money.
- 7:56Speaker 4: That's the fucked up part.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Capitalists come poor. I'm sorry not saying rock. I'm sorry.
- 8:15Speaker 3: With with Jordan's and.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Smart wash right you.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Mad rich right now, bro, with the.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Plaster ship behind listen, bavy. I don't know where this
- 8:29Speaker 2: came from. The most suspensive thing. I got my shoes.
- 8:32Speaker 2: But don't look down there.
- 8:33Speaker 4: That's some woman not gone quiet. So that's a man
- 8:35Speaker 4: with money, bro, don't him the public.
- 8:37Speaker 2: I have coin.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a man with new money.
- 8:41Speaker 2: I got nothing, Core, I'm broke, baby, exactly, pocast on zero.
- 8:47Speaker 3: The smart can account of negatives right now, an account
- 8:51Speaker 3: not the main one.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Exactly, an account transfer everything.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Oh man?
- 9:01Speaker 3: So all right, so what made you get What was
- 9:03Speaker 3: the moment I was like, all right, I like writing.
- 9:05Speaker 3: You've always like writing. When your kids like I want
- 9:07Speaker 3: to be a writer. Yeah, And how did that translate
- 9:09Speaker 3: into like starting the podcast.
- 9:12Speaker 4: I think it's a funny story because when I used
- 9:14Speaker 4: to be in in elementary school, they used to do
- 9:17Speaker 4: book reports once a week.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I was every week. Every week.
- 9:21Speaker 4: Yeah, every week. They will give you a book at
- 9:22Speaker 4: the start. Nah, I was, I was in E s L.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Oh, maybe that's an E s l Then, Okay, I don't.
- 9:29Speaker 4: I don't like to that. That sounds a little bit.
- 9:33Speaker 4: I'm not feeling that that's what.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Made y'all do that.
- 9:44Speaker 3: There were actually one fish and then they had to fish, okay,
- 9:49Speaker 3: and then.
- 9:50Speaker 6: Some of them are red and blue fish man all right,
- 9:54Speaker 6: So yeah, we used to have book reports once a
- 9:56Speaker 6: week and I would do them ships every single day,
- 9:59Speaker 6: and I'm it came to a point where.
- 10:00Speaker 4: My teacher was like, yo, I get it, I get it.
- 10:04Speaker 4: But I was obsessed. I was really obsessed with reading.
- 10:07Speaker 4: I was obsessed with dissecting stories and finding like what
- 10:10Speaker 4: the theme was. And funny enough, I didn't know until
- 10:13Speaker 4: I was writing my first book, but Miss Siskowsky, my
- 10:17Speaker 4: third grade teacher, told my mom one day. She was like, yo,
- 10:19Speaker 4: she's going to grow up to be a writer. Because
- 10:21Speaker 4: I had won an award for writing. But yeah, third grade.
- 10:25Speaker 4: And she didn't tell me that until I was like, mom,
- 10:27Speaker 4: I'm writing a book. Like that's when she was like, oh,
- 10:29Speaker 4: you know, I just remember Missiscosski said that.
- 10:31Speaker 2: By the way, all right, I've been looking for my passion.
- 10:36Speaker 4: But to answer a question, I've always loved writing. But
- 10:40Speaker 4: with the way that the world works and capitalism and
- 10:43Speaker 4: just just self self doubt and all of these things,
- 10:49Speaker 4: it like it faded away because I started to do
- 10:51Speaker 4: things that were not coming from my core, you know,
- 10:54Speaker 4: just like you just start doing shit, filling your time
- 10:57Speaker 4: with bullshit. And it wasn't until I became like nineteen
- 10:59Speaker 4: and I was like, yo, I actually have a lot
- 11:01Speaker 4: to say, So that's what That's what really prompted it.
- 11:05Speaker 1: M Yeah, and is not your first podcast? It is?
- 11:11Speaker 2: It is Wow, it doesn't seem.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Like that's like really, I've.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Been listening for a while and you guys seem or
- 11:18Speaker 2: you seem.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Like like you've been here before, like this, Oh.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Nah, that's my first podcast. It's my first time being
- 11:25Speaker 4: on a platform like it's And it's funny the way
- 11:29Speaker 4: that came about because my brother can tell you, I've
- 11:31Speaker 4: always hated my fucking voice the sound of my voice
- 11:35Speaker 4: was like, Yo, if you play it back to me,
- 11:36Speaker 4: I will run.
- 11:37Speaker 2: I don't like the sound of my voice playing back either.
- 11:38Speaker 4: You get it right. So it was like I had
- 11:41Speaker 4: a lot of things to say, and I was like, yo,
- 11:43Speaker 4: I don't care necessarily how the message comes out, like
- 11:45Speaker 4: if people can read it, if people can hear it,
- 11:47Speaker 4: if I can give them sugar with the with the
- 11:50Speaker 4: salt of Like, Yo, you got to learn some shit,
- 11:53Speaker 4: but I could give it to you through comedy, so
- 11:54Speaker 4: it's easier for you to understand. But my brother was like, yo,
- 11:58Speaker 4: like there's a different way for you to get your
- 12:00Speaker 4: message out, you know. So I started making videos and
- 12:02Speaker 4: he forced me to play my fucking voice and listen
- 12:05Speaker 4: to it. And that's what made me end up on Victory,
- 12:08Speaker 4: like because I started making videos and that's how Meryl
- 12:10Speaker 4: found me. Oh yeah, funny enough. I'm so sorry.
- 12:16Speaker 2: I won't to hear what I was gonna say.
- 12:18Speaker 5: When when Rainy was here, he was saying, that was
- 12:20Speaker 5: the first time you guys actually met.
- 12:21Speaker 4: Yeah, it was what was that like?
- 12:23Speaker 5: Because the dynamic you have now, like thinking how that
- 12:27Speaker 5: just came organically is just wild to me.
- 12:30Speaker 2: It's like now y'all just shooting the ship.
- 12:32Speaker 4: Oh yeah. Now, it's like they got to tell us, like, yo,
- 12:34Speaker 4: we're done recording, because it's just be on go and
- 12:38Speaker 4: it's from the moment we get to the studio we'd
- 12:40Speaker 4: be having a fucking blast. But I think that's just
- 12:42Speaker 4: to a call to Merrow's talent. Merrow's like eye and talent,
- 12:46Speaker 4: Meryl and Victor because Victor was one who found me originally,
- 12:50Speaker 4: and to them, it's just they just know how to
- 12:52Speaker 4: make things work and whatever we don't know how to
- 12:55Speaker 4: work out, we'll have a conversation about it, and we
- 12:58Speaker 4: fixed out the knooks and crannies. But it was it
- 13:01Speaker 4: was crazy. We first met through FaceTime and I was like, Yo,
- 13:03Speaker 4: I have this idea. I want to do it, And
- 13:05Speaker 4: then the first episode was when we first met in person.
- 13:09Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 13:09Speaker 4: Yeah, So it's kind of cool that y'all.
- 13:11Speaker 2: That's the opposite of.
- 13:12Speaker 4: Yeah, like y'all high school.
- 13:14Speaker 3: That's cool, and you know, it's good because we have
- 13:17Speaker 3: chemistry because we've known each other so long.
- 13:19Speaker 1: But then it could go into like where you getting
- 13:23Speaker 1: too inside.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Jokes, to where it's like for years and we say something,
- 13:28Speaker 3: it's like the people like talking about some dumb joke
- 13:33Speaker 3: we had from like seven years ago. Like if we'll
- 13:36Speaker 3: say one word right now, if I say one word
- 13:38Speaker 3: right now.
- 13:39Speaker 1: At least two other dudes in this room are gonna
- 13:41Speaker 1: start laughing. Want beef. Look at.
- 13:50Speaker 7: I wasn't expecting you to say I wasn't expect I
- 13:54Speaker 7: was a cop.
- 13:57Speaker 3: And it's like, God, I want, I almost want to
- 14:01Speaker 3: tell the story, but I'm i'll tell you because I
- 14:05Speaker 3: can't tell. We've talked about it was.
- 14:08Speaker 1: It was, it was eighth grade. It was bullying.
- 14:10Speaker 2: It was it's a bullying story.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Bully.
- 14:14Speaker 2: We know we were we were bystanders, we were bystandings,
- 14:18Speaker 2: but I wasn't there. I was there at all. So
- 14:20Speaker 2: I got I got a second. We were just all
- 14:22Speaker 2: we were all.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Out there making money, right because you've been stacked. So
- 14:27Speaker 4: while the hooligans were doing their bullying, I.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Ain't stacking nothing. I'm stacking pennies.
- 14:32Speaker 1: He was stacking from the bloods that beat him up
- 14:35Speaker 1: that one time.
- 14:37Speaker 2: The suburban bloods. Another blin even inside story, just some
- 14:40Speaker 2: more bullshit. That's how I got this car right here.
- 14:43Speaker 2: But it's all tell the story, ken, Okay, So I
- 14:48Speaker 2: wish I could show you where we live, so you
- 14:50Speaker 2: could just, yeah, listen, just show his house just just
- 14:54Speaker 2: because the house is maybe a size. No, no, we
- 14:58Speaker 2: don't have to. Okay. So me and my boy Adam
- 15:00Speaker 2: was were swooping at the park and uh, my favorite
- 15:04Speaker 2: color is red, and back in the day, I used
- 15:06Speaker 2: to wear a lot of red. Like I wear red shirt,
- 15:08Speaker 2: red jeans, red pants, shoes, very exactly. So we're out
- 15:15Speaker 2: there hooping. I had a red shirt on and this
- 15:17Speaker 2: guy he comes up and goes, hey, hey, you you
- 15:21Speaker 2: are blood Like nah, like, no, I'm good. He was like,
- 15:26Speaker 2: I didn't take your red off. I'm like, bro, like
- 15:29Speaker 2: the like, no, move like, get out of here. So
- 15:33Speaker 2: I turn around and I go back to hooping. I
- 15:37Speaker 2: didn't see bull pulled the blade out and cut me. Now,
- 15:46Speaker 2: just you know, just to make the shorty the story shorter.
- 15:49Speaker 2: I beat his ass. Uh, and then I went home
- 15:53Speaker 2: packed my I didn't go get stitches. I just went home,
- 15:55Speaker 2: packed my face up, and then went to school next
- 15:59Speaker 2: day and was.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Like, oh my god, what happened. What happened?
- 16:01Speaker 2: I'm like, I told him the story, and you know
- 16:04Speaker 2: what happened.
- 16:06Speaker 7: He went to sleep and had a dream and made
- 16:08Speaker 7: all that ship up that ship.
- 16:11Speaker 2: That's how long he's been telling.
- 16:13Speaker 4: That's so fucked up for you to say, that's so
- 16:15Speaker 4: fucked up for you to do. You just lied to me.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Made that story happened around the corner from this house.
- 16:23Speaker 4: Man.
- 16:28Speaker 8: Listen right right, that have have wheels, they have legs,
- 16:37Speaker 8: they can travel.
- 16:39Speaker 3: I see a picture I only driven by suburban Yeah, Welton, Jersey.
- 16:50Speaker 3: And then and in the back of is.
- 16:51Speaker 2: The coy pot Damn, I hand built coy pond.
- 16:55Speaker 4: You never getting away from the rich allegations, never escaping
- 16:58Speaker 4: again rich?
- 17:00Speaker 2: No, he actually did that. He's not rich, he's wealthy.
- 17:02Speaker 7: He was playing basketball inside the house rough house and
- 17:05Speaker 7: clipped and fucking hit his eye.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Did you hit on a clipboard? Okay, okay, So I
- 17:10Speaker 2: had nothing to do with a blade. The real story
- 17:13Speaker 2: Me and my boy Adam is playing uh NBA live.
- 17:16Speaker 2: What this is the real story?
- 17:19Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 17:19Speaker 2: Yea, no breaking news, got a real story.
- 17:21Speaker 1: So you admit you've been lying this whole time.
- 17:24Speaker 2: He told the real story right now, I've told no,
- 17:27Speaker 2: he's never admitted.
- 17:28Speaker 3: God, Kenan, I've known you for over twenty years. This
- 17:34Speaker 3: story you would adamantly maintain this is not a lie.
- 17:37Speaker 3: So right now, in twenty twenty six, you are telling
- 17:41Speaker 3: me for real that you are lying about that.
- 17:44Speaker 2: This is the story that I know that like it
- 17:46Speaker 2: eases the pain of get the fuck out. It makes
- 17:51Speaker 2: it easier for you guys, because word, I know that's
- 17:55Speaker 2: traumatic of knowing you boy all these years, that like
- 17:58Speaker 2: somebody tried to take me out. So I just stories
- 18:00Speaker 2: to soften the blow through I'm going to take. But
- 18:04Speaker 2: what happened was me and my boy Adam was playing
- 18:06Speaker 2: NBA Live. I bet him five bucks I can make
- 18:10Speaker 2: a three point shot with y'all man. He was like,
- 18:13Speaker 2: all right, bet so I make the three point shot
- 18:15Speaker 2: with y'all mean in a video game. He then makes
- 18:18Speaker 2: a bet to me, like I bet you that five
- 18:20Speaker 2: hours back, I can make five with Shack. So I'm like, oh, oh,
- 18:24Speaker 2: that's that's easy. He's not gonna make five with Shack. Okay.
- 18:26Speaker 2: So we're playing the game. He makes one. I'm like
- 18:28Speaker 2: this one. Shack made one in real life, that's no problem.
- 18:31Speaker 2: He made two, Lucky as hell made three. Something fucking's
- 18:36Speaker 2: going on now. Mind to the whole time, we're playing
- 18:39Speaker 2: his sisters behind me, and you know, like those metal
- 18:40Speaker 2: calendars you put on your frigerator that got like the
- 18:42Speaker 2: little rubber border around. She had one of those, and
- 18:46Speaker 2: she was taking the rubber boarding off it. Why was
- 18:48Speaker 2: she taking the rubber boarding off Who knows. So then
- 18:50Speaker 2: he makes the fourth one. I'm like, yo, what is
- 18:52Speaker 2: going on here? This is some bullshit. So we're playing
- 18:55Speaker 2: the games close now. He then makes a clutch three
- 18:59Speaker 2: fifth three, which shack. I'm like, what the fuck? Throw
- 19:02Speaker 2: my head back. I thought I hit my head on something.
- 19:06Speaker 2: So then I I then like put my head on
- 19:08Speaker 2: his Spider Man couch like like like he had like
- 19:10Speaker 2: a little Spider Man chair, and I'm.
- 19:12Speaker 7: Like, yeah, some bullshit, What the hell that's crazy.
- 19:16Speaker 2: I picked my head up. His sisters like, yo, your
- 19:18Speaker 2: face is bleeding, and I'm like what that's when I
- 19:20Speaker 2: felt that start pouring down my head. It actually starts
- 19:23Speaker 2: over my eye and goes all the way back almost
- 19:28Speaker 2: off of a shack three porner.
- 19:31Speaker 4: So wait, so, how how did you hurt yourself? Was
- 19:33Speaker 4: it what she was ripping off of the frame?
- 19:35Speaker 2: So so I turned I turned my head into it
- 19:37Speaker 2: when she was behind me, and it the metal thing
- 19:40Speaker 2: just sliced.
- 19:40Speaker 4: My Yeah, damn you know, I didn't see the scar
- 19:44Speaker 4: until you pointed it out.
- 19:45Speaker 3: And then she said it too, and that's why he
- 19:47Speaker 3: thought it was a blood and then the scar under it.
- 19:50Speaker 2: I got bit in the face by I can't.
- 19:53Speaker 4: Believe a word you say.
- 19:54Speaker 3: No one, he's a filthy liar.
- 19:58Speaker 2: No, no, no. The Chiuai Wai story is real. The
- 20:01Speaker 2: blood story is also real.
- 20:02Speaker 6: But you know, I don't believe blood stories.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Hold on what part of your girl you grew up?
- 20:11Speaker 4: We were raised in Brooklyn and we were we were
- 20:15Speaker 4: raised with actual bloods, Like they had the blood flag
- 20:17Speaker 4: on the on the on the.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Streets exactly right there, like.
- 20:26Speaker 1: What is the neighborhood?
- 20:30Speaker 4: Our neighborhood was full of bloods. That's all there was.
- 20:33Speaker 4: And until we moved. We moved to Queens when I
- 20:35Speaker 4: was like fourteen, around that age, that's when I saw
- 20:38Speaker 4: a lot of crips. Like there was a lot of
- 20:39Speaker 4: guys in these crips. Really, I had never I didn't
- 20:42Speaker 4: know that was my face. I didn't know that they existed, bro,
- 20:46Speaker 4: but they existed, and it was they was worse than
- 20:48Speaker 4: the bloods. It was like they had something to prove.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Was taking a serious niggah. I think I'm Indian.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Is crazy.
- 21:02Speaker 4: I'm telling you, go to Queens, you gonna see them
- 21:04Speaker 4: bases everywhere everywhere.
- 21:08Speaker 3: Okay, No, So I know Queens because listen, I'm obviously,
- 21:25Speaker 3: like I said before, I'm not really abreast with New
- 21:26Speaker 3: York and all that.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Stuff and all the Burroughs and all that. But Queens
- 21:30Speaker 1: is known to be like a little bit nicer and safety.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Is that true or.
- 21:33Speaker 4: Hell no, No, that's a lot, that's a lot anything.
- 21:37Speaker 4: I feel way unsafer in Queens than I did in Brooklyn.
- 21:39Speaker 4: Really yes, because in Brooklyn and East New York, even
- 21:42Speaker 4: though there was bloods, there was crips. There was I
- 21:44Speaker 4: mean were on crips, but there was bloods, There was
- 21:47Speaker 4: drug dealers, there was a lot of shit. We lived
- 21:50Speaker 4: right up the block from the seventy fifth Precinct at
- 21:52Speaker 4: the most corrupt time. That is the most corrupt precinct
- 21:55Speaker 4: in New York City. I don't know to this day,
- 21:56Speaker 4: but back when we were living there, it was and
- 22:00Speaker 4: it was different because it was a community. So it's like, yeah,
- 22:02Speaker 4: we knew the drug dealers because they were there all
- 22:04Speaker 4: the time. But it's like if they see that you're
- 22:06Speaker 4: doing something that you're not supposed to be doing. It's like, Yo,
- 22:09Speaker 4: I'm gonna tell your moms, I'm gonna tell your pops.
- 22:11Speaker 4: The deli dudes, it's like, yeah, yo, I saw your
- 22:14Speaker 4: daughter wil and I saw your son getting into a fight.
- 22:17Speaker 4: So it's like.
- 22:18Speaker 2: It's a real community.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:19Speaker 4: We everybody looked out for each other and the queens.
- 22:22Speaker 4: It's just like just everybody's drunk. Everybody's high off of
- 22:25Speaker 4: some kind of drug type of deal. Yeah. And then
- 22:29Speaker 4: they be like they be fighting because I live in
- 22:31Speaker 4: I live in Little Guyana, it's called Little Guyana, and
- 22:34Speaker 4: they be fighting, bro, they be fighting each other and
- 22:37Speaker 4: they'll hug like two minutes later. It's it's really fucked.
- 22:39Speaker 2: That's actually how it should be. Actually, like like you
- 22:43Speaker 2: got a dispute, knuckle it out all right, cool, but
- 22:48Speaker 2: guns too quick.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Right, and sounds like fighting is too easy then.
- 22:54Speaker 4: But the disputes don't be like real shit. It'd be
- 22:56Speaker 4: like it'd be like a misunderstanding and they just be
- 22:59Speaker 4: drunk and high, so they just start beating the shit out.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Of it and then like, hey, go to my trunk
- 23:04Speaker 2: real quick.
- 23:05Speaker 3: But the fighting always it can escalate to that when
- 23:08Speaker 3: you're drunk and high and different things like that.
- 23:10Speaker 1: How about we just not fight and use our words?
- 23:13Speaker 4: Yeah, of course, yes, Yeah, I mean I don't. I
- 23:15Speaker 4: don't actually crown drunk people. Honestly, I don't funk around
- 23:17Speaker 4: with people who are on substances. I could tell in
- 23:20Speaker 4: their eyes. I could tell. I always tell. Like I
- 23:24Speaker 4: remember one time I walked into a party, and this
- 23:26Speaker 4: is just how I am. I will joke about something
- 23:30Speaker 4: and sometimes it'll be true. So like, I walked into
- 23:33Speaker 4: a party and one of my friends just looked weird,
- 23:35Speaker 4: and I was like, are you high? And I said
- 23:37Speaker 4: it in slow motion because I wanted to like make sure,
- 23:40Speaker 4: and his fucking eyes like dilated, and I was like, oh,
- 23:43Speaker 4: he's high, and it's not like the regular weed high.
- 23:45Speaker 4: He's like he's off something scientific. Yeah, And I could
- 23:49Speaker 4: tell he was off some self rogan shit. He was
- 23:51Speaker 4: doing something crazy. But yeah, I don't. I don't funk
- 23:54Speaker 4: around with drunk people. I don't like that.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't give him drinking a long, long, long
- 24:00Speaker 3: time ago.
- 24:01Speaker 2: I'm getting there. Drinking is not the I'm getting there,
- 24:03Speaker 2: it's it's it hurts.
- 24:05Speaker 1: It hurts. It hurts now, like now, like in your thirties,
- 24:08Speaker 1: now drinking, it's just it's just not it's it hurts.
- 24:12Speaker 1: It hurts. It's just painful, and not only drink socially.
- 24:16Speaker 1: I don't do that.
- 24:17Speaker 2: So I'm drinking at all. I might just show up
- 24:19Speaker 2: and be like I'm good, show up. Yeah, okay, take
- 24:24Speaker 2: a little Eddie Winslow and.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Be cool wind Eddie. So you don't drink or anything
- 24:32Speaker 1: like that.
- 24:33Speaker 4: No, I don't.
- 24:33Speaker 1: I don't, never did.
- 24:34Speaker 4: No, Hell yeah, I used to drink like a motherfucker.
- 24:36Speaker 4: That's why I don't drink no more. When you stop ship,
- 24:39Speaker 4: probably when I was like seventeen, I feel like, from.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Like Jesus yeah to damn yeh queens they drinking.
- 24:51Speaker 2: So you yeah, stopped?
- 24:52Speaker 4: Then Yeah I stopped because that's the thing. Like late
- 24:56Speaker 4: my late teenage years, from like sixteen to seventeen, we
- 25:00Speaker 4: to drink every weekend, and I feel like I got
- 25:02Speaker 4: it all out my system. So by the time I
- 25:04Speaker 4: was ready well of age to like drink, I was like, yeah,
- 25:07Speaker 4: this ship is whack. I can't do it. I can't
- 25:10Speaker 4: do the hangovers.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I got math classes.
- 25:14Speaker 1: I need to sober up.
- 25:17Speaker 4: No, we need to do it on the weekends. First
- 25:18Speaker 4: of all, don't make it. I feel like a degenerate.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Yeah, it was crazy. Let me get.
- 25:27Speaker 4: Not too much on my Spanish classes, let me get
- 25:30Speaker 4: original local.
- 25:32Speaker 1: They putting letters in the math, now, give me give
- 25:39Speaker 1: me some.
- 25:41Speaker 2: That on the soundboard I think we did back when
- 25:45Speaker 2: we had the sound we had a soundboard.
- 25:48Speaker 3: Yeah, but back to Victory, Like, so you know you're
- 25:54Speaker 3: on the podcast.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Was it like intimidating at first? Like being like first.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Long at your first time doing the podcast thing, you
- 26:02Speaker 3: doing it with somebody likes like as prominent as me.
- 26:05Speaker 3: Was that like it was there like an intimidation fabri
- 26:07Speaker 3: He just went like it like yeah, nah.
- 26:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I was scared. I was scared mostly because I'm like, Yo,
- 26:12Speaker 4: first of all, I'm a Merrow fan, like I was
- 26:14Speaker 4: a Bodega Boys fan before anything.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Yeah, So.
- 26:18Speaker 4: Just meeting him, it was like holy shit, Like this
- 26:20Speaker 4: is somebody I've wanted to work with for as long
- 26:23Speaker 4: as I've seen him in media. But when I got
- 26:27Speaker 4: that phone call, because he tricked me. First of all,
- 26:30Speaker 4: he tricked me like a motherfucker. He was like, Yo,
- 26:31Speaker 4: I want to interview you. We're doing something that's just
- 26:34Speaker 4: like me, my producer, my manager, and I thought it
- 26:37Speaker 4: was just like a regular interview, you know, like, oh,
- 26:39Speaker 4: we're gonna talk about fun shit. And it wasn't until
- 26:41Speaker 4: after that that he was like, oh yeah, like I
- 26:43Speaker 4: was testing you out to see how you would be
- 26:45Speaker 4: able to bounce off of different topics and stuff like that.
- 26:48Speaker 4: But my thing was like, Yo, I'm scared to do
- 26:52Speaker 4: something for so long, So I was like, Yo, how
- 26:54Speaker 4: are we going to fill an hour? It was just
- 26:57Speaker 4: with just conversation. And then I didn't know Rainy as
- 26:59Speaker 4: well neither, so it was just like I know my
- 27:03Speaker 4: sense of humor right, and I know who I am,
- 27:05Speaker 4: and I'm who I am in every room that I
- 27:06Speaker 4: go into. So I was like, I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 27:08Speaker 4: present myself, I'm gonna make my jokes, I'm gonna talk
- 27:11Speaker 4: how I talk. But can I get away with what
- 27:15Speaker 4: I would do normally? You know? Like ship we grew
- 27:17Speaker 4: up in New York, so we've been cutting ass since
- 27:20Speaker 4: we learned how to talk. So I remember that first episode.
- 27:24Speaker 4: It was like I remember I said a joke and
- 27:26Speaker 4: I saw Rainie's reaction and I was like all.
- 27:31Speaker 2: I was like, this is gonna be good.
- 27:33Speaker 4: And it's like the more we recorded. It was like,
- 27:35Speaker 4: I now we know which lines we can push and
- 27:38Speaker 4: which line is not to cross, because that was another thing,
- 27:40Speaker 4: like you still got to respect your co hosts, you know.
- 27:43Speaker 4: And I'm sure you guys know this because y'all are friends.
- 27:46Speaker 4: So I'm pretty sure there's some ship that you can't
- 27:47Speaker 4: bring up on the show.
- 27:54Speaker 9: Probably somebody contact that happened in our earlier episodes because
- 28:03Speaker 9: we started the podcast after listening to the Nigga Boys
- 28:06Speaker 9: and in the beginning we would talk about a lot
- 28:08Speaker 9: of things.
- 28:09Speaker 7: At the end of it because it was just me
- 28:10Speaker 7: and Mike, we're like, we probably cut that out.
- 28:13Speaker 1: He's like, we probably should have said their full name.
- 28:15Speaker 2: Or we probably just delete that whole episode.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it's definitely whole episodes.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Like yeah, we just going yeah, but that comes with time, Like.
- 28:23Speaker 1: We definitely shouldn't podcast drunk either.
- 28:25Speaker 4: Okay, should I've never done that. We might have to
- 28:28Speaker 4: do that.
- 28:29Speaker 1: I would, I would. Oh, I would love to see
- 28:32Speaker 1: that ship.
- 28:33Speaker 4: I'm gonna I'm gonna bring that up.
- 28:35Speaker 2: We should get sometimes No.
- 28:38Speaker 4: We haven't been working, which, funny enough, we had to
- 28:44Speaker 4: pull those.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Back because I heard, y'all, I heard like there's a
- 28:47Speaker 3: lot of drinking going on there.
- 28:49Speaker 4: It wasn't it wasn't our fault. It wasn't our fault me.
- 28:52Speaker 4: First of all, I'll get my little Selsa. I'll get
- 28:53Speaker 4: my little selse award. I'm not drinking in the morning.
- 28:55Speaker 4: I'm not drinking in the night time. I don't give
- 28:56Speaker 4: a fun But they tell you, oh, like we want,
- 28:59Speaker 4: we want want you guys to try this drink. It's
- 29:02Speaker 4: a new drink, Like I remember one time we got
- 29:04Speaker 4: Rainie got one, and I remember, these these bitches don't
- 29:09Speaker 4: believe in regular cups. So they gave you a bowl
- 29:12Speaker 4: of liquor and Rainy is like fake simping, you know,
- 29:16Speaker 4: throughout the interview, and then halfway through they're like, oh,
- 29:19Speaker 4: we have a new drink that we want you guys
- 29:21Speaker 4: to like try, and he's like, all right, I'll try it.
- 29:24Speaker 4: He drank both of them ships and he said that
- 29:27Speaker 4: the liquor didn't hit him until he got back on
- 29:29Speaker 4: the train when he was like headed Homeme, and we
- 29:32Speaker 4: had like a meeting the next day and he didn't
- 29:34Speaker 4: make it to and that's when he was like a yo.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Livelihood.
- 29:43Speaker 2: So that delayed released alcohol.
- 29:45Speaker 4: But it was an interview, so we had a guest.
- 29:48Speaker 4: But if it's just like us Shoe and the ship,
- 29:50Speaker 4: I think that would be fucking phenomenon. We might get
- 29:53Speaker 4: into a fight, but that's what I want. Yes, that's
- 29:57Speaker 4: what I want. Yes, that's what I want to feel like,
- 29:59Speaker 4: that's what That's what you know the public is waiting for.
- 30:01Speaker 4: Once we get into a brawl, will really make it.
- 30:03Speaker 2: M M.
- 30:04Speaker 3: I was like, money's on you, but if Rainy brings
- 30:10Speaker 3: the armor, I'm gonna putting my money on it.
- 30:11Speaker 4: I'm cooked. And he got like four swords, bro, I
- 30:15Speaker 4: see like he got real weapons weapons.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Yeah, he's like I've been preparing for this.
- 30:25Speaker 3: He's just like a Night of the Seven Kingdoms. It's
- 30:29Speaker 3: got the Targarian army.
- 30:30Speaker 1: I'm like, oh yeah, like a problem.
- 30:35Speaker 3: But now that now that Merrill has transitioned into to
- 30:41Speaker 3: the radio hosts on boarding, So how's that has.
- 30:45Speaker 1: That affected y'all? Y'all like recording or y'all?
- 30:48Speaker 4: Still it hasn't.
- 30:49Speaker 1: It hasn't.
- 30:50Speaker 4: Honestly, I'm gonna, I'm gonna. I'm gonna be completely honest.
- 30:53Speaker 4: It made Merrow funnier. Really, yes, it made him funnier
- 30:57Speaker 4: because because he clean on the he has to clean himself.
- 31:01Speaker 4: He has to hold back. He can't curse, Like there's
- 31:04Speaker 4: certain jokes and things that he can't say. So he
- 31:06Speaker 4: said himself, like when I come to victory, likes like
- 31:09Speaker 4: I could just release.
- 31:10Speaker 2: It's like a treat.
- 31:12Speaker 1: It's a good boy all week. He might have bought you.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:17Speaker 4: Yeah, he's still himself, obviously you could tell, like on
- 31:20Speaker 4: the show on High ninety seven, he's still himself, but
- 31:23Speaker 4: he's a lot more censored because there's rules and ship
- 31:25Speaker 4: that you gotta so once he comes to victory, like
- 31:27Speaker 4: he's just like he got all these built up jokes
- 31:30Speaker 4: that finally just like that's dope.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know, cleaning up for a whole week.
- 31:38Speaker 1: He's on for like three four hours a day, right.
- 31:40Speaker 4: Yeah, it's four hours in the mornings.
- 31:43Speaker 1: I'll just struggle a warning ship and you can't cause
- 31:48Speaker 1: a man.
- 31:49Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm telling you. That's why I'm not up there, bro,
- 31:51Speaker 4: because I'll be cursing and I don't even realize when
- 31:54Speaker 4: I'm cursing regular language.
- 31:57Speaker 3: Sometimes I try to work on that, like on time,
- 32:00Speaker 3: like I try to work like maybe I should stop cursing,
- 32:02Speaker 3: and it's like you're just casually talking like like, this
- 32:04Speaker 3: is a motherfucker.
- 32:06Speaker 1: You don't need to catch it. It just slips out.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Like that's gonna be your baby's first word.
- 32:12Speaker 4: Congratulation, thank you, thank you.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, he's a month. Wow, it was a month
- 32:17Speaker 1: on the third.
- 32:17Speaker 4: So yeah, it's like, congratulations. How is that? This is
- 32:20Speaker 4: your first first kid?
- 32:23Speaker 1: Crazy man?
- 32:24Speaker 4: And how's how's the how's the missus?
- 32:26Speaker 1: The missus, missus warrior.
- 32:28Speaker 4: Warrior, God bless her man. I don't think women.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Shout out to all the women mothers, especially my mom.
- 32:37Speaker 3: See you you did that?
- 32:40Speaker 1: How many times we can?
- 32:40Speaker 4: I mean she she raised three, well, she gave birth
- 32:43Speaker 4: to three, but she raised four. Yeah, we got a
- 32:46Speaker 4: little cousin of ours who lived with us. She took him.
- 32:49Speaker 1: I got one.
- 32:50Speaker 3: And I'm like, yo, anybody that's like she's talking about oh,
- 32:53Speaker 3: the second one?
- 32:54Speaker 1: When when are you serious?
- 32:57Speaker 3: Like I go on TikTok and I see people like, yeah,
- 32:59Speaker 3: we're having triplet triplets.
- 33:01Speaker 2: At the same time.
- 33:03Speaker 3: I can't imagine doing that three times in a row,
- 33:05Speaker 3: swaddling three babies, rocking three babies, just sleep.
- 33:09Speaker 1: God forbid, they're on the same If they're on difference.
- 33:13Speaker 2: You don't even have to do that. Hard part.
- 33:15Speaker 5: What do you mean you get to do the fun part.
- 33:17Speaker 5: What's the fun part making the baby? You don't have
- 33:20Speaker 5: to birth the baby.
- 33:21Speaker 3: I do birth the baby. Yeah, that's a one time deal.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Though, like, okay, I don't like how that exactly.
- 33:28Speaker 2: I understand that.
- 33:31Speaker 3: It's not like, first of all, I will never diminish
- 33:35Speaker 3: that because I was there and I seen it live.
- 33:37Speaker 1: It is no picnic, all right, it's.
- 33:40Speaker 2: You took a peek around the curtain.
- 33:41Speaker 3: No, no, I stayed there and played my role and
- 33:46Speaker 3: held her hand and I said, baby push.
- 33:49Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't have no time to be No.
- 33:53Speaker 3: She was she was she was locked in okay, so
- 33:56Speaker 3: she had no time to curse me, so she was
- 33:58Speaker 3: just she's.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Your no.
- 34:02Speaker 3: No, no, that she definitely did, you know, Like it
- 34:06Speaker 3: was like fresh princes butlair when like hold my hand,
- 34:09Speaker 3: the grip was crazy because it definitely hurt. I definitely
- 34:13Speaker 3: like squealed a little bit. But yeah, man, having the
- 34:19Speaker 3: sun is crazy.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Kid is still still haven't processed it yet, even.
- 34:24Speaker 3: Though I'd be like I hold them and it's like,
- 34:27Speaker 3: yeah I could, I could gab and gab and gab.
- 34:31Speaker 3: That's beautiful hour showing pictures and stuff like that, I'll
- 34:35Speaker 3: do it after because I know I would take like
- 34:37Speaker 3: fifteen minutes.
- 34:38Speaker 5: It's random, But have you ever heard of cryptic pregnancy?
- 34:41Speaker 5: A cryptic pregnancy? What's that I feel like I have
- 34:45Speaker 5: is that when they don't know that they're when they're pregnant,
- 34:47Speaker 5: about that they don't know that my cousin.
- 34:50Speaker 7: Huh, your cousin in a toilet, no a toilet.
- 34:58Speaker 1: I would have the doukie. It's like a dooky baby.
- 35:03Speaker 2: So gotta turn in her baby. And so she's she's
- 35:06Speaker 2: she's a larger gal. But like so she was pregnant
- 35:11Speaker 2: the entire time, but like her body really didn't change much.
- 35:14Speaker 2: So she just thought, like getting her period. I'm guessing
- 35:23Speaker 2: not but like I'm guessing, like I don't know how
- 35:26Speaker 2: it works. I'm not sure the question how it works,
- 35:31Speaker 2: whether you in lining. Like one day she said that
- 35:36Speaker 2: like like she was having abdin pains, like it was
- 35:38Speaker 2: sharp and like like her husband like, we need to
- 35:42Speaker 2: go to the hospital, like you've been having these these pains.
- 35:44Speaker 2: So they go like, oh, you're pregnant, you're in labor,
- 35:47Speaker 2: and she was she was like what it's like, yeah,
- 35:50Speaker 2: you're you're you're pregnant and you're about that crazy.
- 35:58Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what I saw online. This girl or the
- 36:00Speaker 5: woman she thought she had food poisoning, so she was
- 36:02Speaker 5: just going to the hospital. Turns out she had twins. Insider. Yeah,
- 36:09Speaker 5: and the comments killed me.
- 36:10Speaker 3: But when I was when I was in high school,
- 36:14Speaker 3: like when I was younger and having and being fast
- 36:17Speaker 3: and having sex, that was my biggest fear because just
- 36:23Speaker 3: just doing that and then not knowing if the girl
- 36:26Speaker 3: is pregnant and then just one day she probably like.
- 36:27Speaker 1: I have twins. Mike, it was like, I'm sixteen, sixteen.
- 36:33Speaker 3: It was it's irrational til you see it. And he's like, yeah, that's.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Crazy, it's not irrational, it's possible. It's a whole show.
- 36:41Speaker 3: So it's been at least there's been at least a
- 36:44Speaker 3: couple of seasons of that show, so it was like
- 36:45Speaker 3: at least four yea Mad Girls women talking about Yeah,
- 36:49Speaker 3: like I've just been living my life. Especially if they
- 36:52Speaker 3: already have like an irregular period.
- 36:54Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what really fucks me up about that because
- 36:56Speaker 4: it's like if you having a regular period and you're
- 36:59Speaker 4: just like go nine months without having it, it's normal
- 37:02Speaker 4: for you, like it's normal for you to just not
- 37:04Speaker 4: have it. And then out of nowhere, you using a
- 37:06Speaker 4: bathroom when you see a head. That's what happened.
- 37:10Speaker 2: I remember seeing the show.
- 37:12Speaker 4: On that on that Yeah, she was I didn't know
- 37:16Speaker 4: she had to use the bathroom and she couldn't and
- 37:18Speaker 4: she was just like yo, like like I can't use
- 37:22Speaker 4: the bathroom. It's not working. And then she went and
- 37:24Speaker 4: she looked and she saw hair like the hair of
- 37:27Speaker 4: a baby.
- 37:31Speaker 1: Oh my god, that feels so good.
- 37:35Speaker 2: That's so fucked up, because crazy.
- 37:38Speaker 4: Bro, imagine having a baby tomorrow. I would, I would,
- 37:42Speaker 4: I would bite the curb. Bro, have no time to prep. Bro,
- 37:49Speaker 4: I don't got a crib exactly, I don't have nothing.
- 37:52Speaker 4: I just like now I got to take care of
- 37:54Speaker 4: this new life. That's crazy. I won't even buy a plan.
- 37:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I got vacation coming up with you, don't you
- 38:01Speaker 2: know it?
- 38:02Speaker 1: Next week?
- 38:02Speaker 2: My boy's crazy, like you ain't no bottles and.
- 38:06Speaker 1: Still water.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Shout good things Amazon do next day delivery because she m, M.
- 38:15Speaker 3: Noah, because you all all, I guess I'm assuming obviously
- 38:17Speaker 3: I know all four of y'all don't got kids.
- 38:19Speaker 1: What would y'all do if you had kicked tomorrow.
- 38:22Speaker 4: My moms.
- 38:24Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 38:25Speaker 4: Give me to my moms and take a first class
- 38:27Speaker 4: flight to d R.
- 38:33Speaker 1: That's crazy because the thing.
- 38:36Speaker 4: Is my mom love kids like she wanted to adopt
- 38:38Speaker 4: kids like so she she still is very nurturing and
- 38:41Speaker 4: she's still isn't It's like, all right, here you go.
- 38:44Speaker 2: That's a class grandmama.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:47Speaker 4: No, she would beat the ship out of me. My
- 38:49Speaker 4: mom will not let me be ad be mom.
- 38:51Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 38:54Speaker 1: I'm just gonna go get some some cigarettes.
- 38:57Speaker 2: I'll be that. You don't even smoke. I I don't
- 39:04Speaker 2: know what I'll do. I'll definitely I have to dip
- 39:07Speaker 2: off for a little bit.
- 39:13Speaker 7: Yeah, not dip off on the child. I would have
- 39:19Speaker 7: to give up my current responsibilities.
- 39:21Speaker 1: I would have to.
- 39:22Speaker 2: Really revamp your life.
- 39:23Speaker 7: Yeah, revamped, Like, how the am I gonna? I don't
- 39:26Speaker 7: even have time for myself?
- 39:27Speaker 1: How the hell? Say? What about you? I don't know,
- 39:33Speaker 1: you're the most dad ready.
- 39:34Speaker 3: Out of all of them, I guess you're the most
- 39:37Speaker 3: You're the most You're the most dad ready.
- 39:40Speaker 5: Not really, No, it's crazy because on the way here,
- 39:43Speaker 5: you know, I left Brandy, or left my girlfriend and
- 39:46Speaker 5: our two dogs and with all the snow and everything,
- 39:50Speaker 5: their bathroom schedule has been kind of messed up. So
- 39:53Speaker 5: I'm on the train here and she sends me a
- 39:56Speaker 5: picture like you'll never guess what happened and my dog
- 40:01Speaker 5: shot on the floor and the like fake Rumbo was going,
- 40:06Speaker 5: Oh no, I wasn't going to tell you guys this story.
- 40:11Speaker 2: Oh my, it's spread through.
- 40:18Speaker 1: I'm not there to do.
- 40:21Speaker 5: Like I feel like that's that's you read me like.
- 40:25Speaker 1: Not my brother.
- 40:27Speaker 5: I was honestly thinking, maybe you should have let the
- 40:28Speaker 5: dog out before you wash your hair, but I wasn't
- 40:30Speaker 5: gonna say that you would be that.
- 40:32Speaker 3: That is no time to give you your your idea
- 40:36Speaker 3: of the solution.
- 40:38Speaker 4: All over.
- 40:39Speaker 2: Maybe you want this ship all over.
- 40:41Speaker 1: The where you don't say, well what you should have done?
- 40:44Speaker 1: That's not helping. Nothing, just spread sprinkling.
- 40:53Speaker 2: I guess it could be worse. And it is one
- 40:57Speaker 2: of the smart ones that massed out to living room,
- 40:59Speaker 2: so like it just goes in the LINEO is just
- 41:00Speaker 2: a sporadic So now you just got she said it
- 41:04Speaker 2: was like pretty much in every room. It's in the kitchen.
- 41:10Speaker 2: Yeah something sh We'll see what I get home too.
- 41:16Speaker 4: I mean, it's not their fault. Man, it's a dog
- 41:19Speaker 4: with a baby, Like, what can you do? Bro helpless?
- 41:23Speaker 2: Yes, I don't know if I can add a baby
- 41:25Speaker 2: on top of that. Who knows.
- 41:26Speaker 5: I don't know if both of us will make it subtracted.
- 41:30Speaker 1: I don't know. You add the baby, you subtracted?
- 41:34Speaker 4: Dogs kill you say.
- 41:37Speaker 1: That, white woman and them.
- 41:41Speaker 2: I like dogs, but I love me some dogs too,
- 41:45Speaker 2: But this generation of dog people is annoying. Dogs don't
- 41:48Speaker 2: need to be everywhere. Dogs don't need to be in
- 41:50Speaker 2: the mall. They don't need to be in a restaurant.
- 41:52Speaker 2: They don't need to be on the plane. They don't
- 41:53Speaker 2: need to be on the train. Keep your dogs home.
- 41:55Speaker 2: There was a dude with a dog and his coat
- 41:57Speaker 2: at the train station. Keep your dog home, Yeah, warm inside.
- 42:02Speaker 3: That Why does your dog need to be in your
- 42:04Speaker 3: coat on the is his dog in here?
- 42:09Speaker 1: Be inside, having inside?
- 42:11Speaker 2: It's just it's my support. I knew a girl who
- 42:14Speaker 2: had an anxiety dog. But the dog had anxiety. That
- 42:18Speaker 2: dog needs another dog, Like, I'm like, what's the purpose
- 42:21Speaker 2: that dog needs? Who's helping? Who?
- 42:24Speaker 1: Look at each other?
- 42:25Speaker 2: Shake both of them open and just trembling.
- 42:28Speaker 1: I got places where both of them could go.
- 42:31Speaker 2: Okay, they can struggle together.
- 42:33Speaker 3: Send them both to the Okay.
- 42:37Speaker 2: But yeah, I love animals. I love dogs. Dogs are
- 42:39Speaker 2: the best cats. Evil you think so I love the devil?
- 42:44Speaker 2: Really yeah, I used to think that I had one.
- 42:47Speaker 2: Just think about every evil villain ever, Like, what what
- 42:51Speaker 2: was the animal?
- 42:52Speaker 4: Well, dogs are cops to damn, you'll never catch a
- 42:56Speaker 4: cat being a cop.
- 42:57Speaker 2: He used to work for the cops too.
- 42:59Speaker 4: That exactly was he was.
- 43:02Speaker 2: He wasn't working technically, he was he was by an informant.
- 43:07Speaker 4: What do you mean?
- 43:08Speaker 2: I was very much. I was very much working. He
- 43:12Speaker 2: was stealing. He was stealing. He would be on what
- 43:17Speaker 2: do you do?
- 43:17Speaker 1: I was working.
- 43:19Speaker 2: That was so good at their job that I had
- 43:20Speaker 2: a lot down time.
- 43:23Speaker 4: I don't care if you're stilling time. I like you
- 43:25Speaker 4: all for that.
- 43:27Speaker 2: Listen. I do my job quick and I ain't got nothing.
- 43:29Speaker 2: I ain't got nothing but time. I can get a
- 43:31Speaker 2: couple of games.
- 43:32Speaker 4: Showing up the work drunk, showing up to work drunk ship,
- 43:36Speaker 4: that's crazy.
- 43:38Speaker 2: That was a wild day I've been.
- 43:40Speaker 4: I've been to work smack.
- 43:43Speaker 2: Okay, exactly. Listen. I took a lunch. Now lunch was brunch.
- 43:48Speaker 7: We went to brunch for his lunch, and we dropped
- 43:50Speaker 7: his ass off and we were a ride.
- 43:54Speaker 4: I'm not even told you that sounds like fun.
- 43:56Speaker 1: And I went back working every day.
- 43:57Speaker 2: Gucci was we were we were some went back to
- 44:00Speaker 2: the police station, fixed a couple of computers and that's
- 44:02Speaker 2: top five drunks.
- 44:03Speaker 1: I ever been down that day.
- 44:07Speaker 2: That was. That was a good time.
- 44:08Speaker 5: Man.
- 44:09Speaker 2: We just go outside again. We haven't been well when
- 44:12Speaker 2: it get warmer, because it is.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Dealing with this cold snap.
- 44:18Speaker 4: I haven't smart.
- 44:21Speaker 2: I told him on the train this this weather is
- 44:23Speaker 2: almost racist, like it's it's not full racist yet. And
- 44:29Speaker 2: then I gave them the example of it's miss Rachel
- 44:32Speaker 2: before she said dada, it.
- 44:33Speaker 7: Was wow, okay yeah, And then he showed us did
- 44:37Speaker 7: you see that video of Miss Rachel saying data?
- 44:39Speaker 5: No?
- 44:40Speaker 2: I was like, what does that mean? So there's a
- 44:42Speaker 2: video of Miss Rachel.
- 44:43Speaker 7: She's holding like a little toy, a little black little figurine,
- 44:46Speaker 7: and she's saying data.
- 44:47Speaker 2: But she's she's saying it like slowly. So she's like,
- 44:53Speaker 2: but it's a little black little were like, Rachel, you
- 44:57Speaker 2: ain't have enough your tongue up there. I'm like, yo, dad,
- 45:00Speaker 2: I don't start with no end. It was strange.
- 45:04Speaker 1: Yeah, you got it.
- 45:05Speaker 2: I don't know what you're talking about. He showed this video.
- 45:06Speaker 2: I was like, why, hello, do you know what this is?
- 45:12Speaker 1: This is a.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Talking with you?
- 45:21Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 45:21Speaker 5: That on that that was a little miss Rachel's on
- 45:24Speaker 5: the right side of history at that time.
- 45:27Speaker 2: She definitely be on the wrong side just as quickly,
- 45:29Speaker 2: exactly around.
- 45:32Speaker 1: Anybody's wrong with that.
- 45:35Speaker 2: Butler's Bell.
- 45:36Speaker 5: We asked her our little Discord if they had any
- 45:40Speaker 5: questions for you specifically, so I got a couple for you.
- 45:43Speaker 4: Shout out to the Discord.
- 45:44Speaker 5: Yeah, shout out to the Discord. First question, do you
- 45:48Speaker 5: plan on writing another book anytime soon?
- 45:50Speaker 4: Yes, I'm actually working on my second book. It's a
- 45:52Speaker 4: poetry book, and it was supposed to be a joint
- 45:55Speaker 4: book between me and my pops. My pops passed away
- 45:58Speaker 4: last year, so I wasn't able to do it how
- 46:02Speaker 4: I wanted to do it where it's just like him
- 46:03Speaker 4: and me. Because my dad was a teacher in the
- 46:05Speaker 4: Dominican Republic, so he was the one who really got
- 46:08Speaker 4: me to like love just learning shit like he was.
- 46:12Speaker 4: He had the mind of somebody who just knew different facts,
- 46:15Speaker 4: and I thought that was fucking fascinating, like being a
- 46:18Speaker 4: little kid, and he's like, oh, yeah, like you don't
- 46:19Speaker 4: know about the Dominican and Haitian Revolution or like look
- 46:23Speaker 4: this happened on this street. Like he was just very
- 46:25Speaker 4: he just had a bunch of random as yclopedic yeah,
- 46:28Speaker 4: And I'm like, yo's this this world is kind of cool,
- 46:30Speaker 4: Like there's just mad information and shit that exists before me.
- 46:34Speaker 4: But the book now is kind of like a love
- 46:36Speaker 4: letter to him. So it still kind of is like
- 46:38Speaker 4: a joint project, just not in the way that I
- 46:41Speaker 4: imagined in my head, because the book now is more
- 46:43Speaker 4: so about grief and dealing with like the loss of
- 46:46Speaker 4: a parent.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Yeah, did he have any writings that you could put
- 46:52Speaker 2: inside that book?
- 46:53Speaker 4: So one thing that I'm really I'm really proud of
- 46:57Speaker 4: was that like three years ago, I sat down with him.
- 47:00Speaker 4: I sat down with my mom, some of my aunts,
- 47:02Speaker 4: my grandmother at the time, she also passed recently, and
- 47:06Speaker 4: we sat down and I got a bunch of hifransfranas
- 47:08Speaker 4: are just like old school sayings that Dominicans say, and
- 47:11Speaker 4: I wanted to get those to incorporate them into the book.
- 47:14Speaker 4: So to me, that's like that was his offering, Like,
- 47:16Speaker 4: I have a lot of those written down, and I
- 47:18Speaker 4: had him give me his definitions where he heard them
- 47:21Speaker 4: from and like things like that, so that I can use. Yeah,
- 47:25Speaker 4: but for for like any writings specifically, No, he would
- 47:29Speaker 4: he would recite poetry to me that he studied when
- 47:31Speaker 4: he was fifteen. I'm like, how the fuck do you
- 47:34Speaker 4: know these words in Spanish? First of all, because it
- 47:37Speaker 4: was out of this world and how do you remember it?
- 47:39Speaker 4: Like that's crazy?
- 47:40Speaker 2: But yeah, it was.
- 47:42Speaker 5: Yeah, what's your favorite one?
- 47:44Speaker 4: Damn, my favorite one? My favorite one that this one
- 47:48Speaker 4: my mom has instilled in me in my entire life
- 47:50Speaker 4: is I'm sorry there. Yeah, I understood that. But it
- 48:00Speaker 4: translates to it's it's different to call the devil from
- 48:04Speaker 4: when he arrives. So it's basically like the power of
- 48:07Speaker 4: the tongue of like, oh, it's very easy for you
- 48:09Speaker 4: to say, oh, I don't give a fuck about anything,
- 48:13Speaker 4: like fuck fuck everything, and then everything starts collapsing, you know,
- 48:19Speaker 4: like you might say, oh, I fucking I fucking hate
- 48:22Speaker 4: my legs, and then tomorrow you can't walk and you
- 48:25Speaker 4: just like, you know, like it's much different from the
- 48:28Speaker 4: power of the tongue for you to say something from
- 48:31Speaker 4: when it arrives. So that's one of my favorite ones.
- 48:34Speaker 4: Like that.
- 48:34Speaker 2: I like that. That's a good one.
- 48:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 48:37Speaker 2: If I can recite that, I would use it.
- 48:38Speaker 1: But well, the thing is that we'll just play it back.
- 48:43Speaker 2: That'll be a button.
- 48:45Speaker 1: We'll just we'll play a slow speeds so we get
- 48:47Speaker 1: it next time.
- 48:48Speaker 4: Gotcha?
- 48:49Speaker 5: Next question, how long would it take in a prison
- 48:52Speaker 5: cell with Rainy, Mirro and Raddell for you to shank
- 48:55Speaker 5: one of them or trade one of them for some
- 48:58Speaker 5: shower shoes.
- 48:59Speaker 4: Shower shoes ship.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Immediately she was like filthy, Yeah.
- 49:05Speaker 4: I give it two hours. Hours, Yeah, I give it
- 49:10Speaker 4: two hours.
- 49:11Speaker 2: Okay, damn.
- 49:11Speaker 1: So who's getting who's Shank's getting shanged?
- 49:13Speaker 2: Who's the most likely to get shanked?
- 49:15Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 49:15Speaker 4: The first one my brother. But it's only because he
- 49:20Speaker 4: knows me so well. Bro. He knows me like nobody
- 49:24Speaker 4: else in this world knows me, and he knows what
- 49:26Speaker 4: pisses me off, Like he could he could do something
- 49:28Speaker 4: right now to just really send me over that. Uh
- 49:31Speaker 4: he is, I'm the youngest one out of us street,
- 49:33Speaker 4: so he's the middle he's the middle child.
- 49:35Speaker 3: All right, are all those siblings that like, obviously are
- 49:39Speaker 3: you It was like you're cool now, But back when
- 49:41Speaker 3: y all was young, y'all used to really like really fight.
- 49:43Speaker 1: There's like really get into it.
- 49:44Speaker 4: All right, So I'm gonna be honest. We've always gotten along, right,
- 49:48Speaker 4: That's like one thing my parents really instilled in us, Like, yo,
- 49:51Speaker 4: it's y'all against the world once you get out there.
- 49:54Speaker 4: But we used to fuck each other up. We used to,
- 49:57Speaker 4: and and I blame it on w w E and
- 50:00Speaker 4: the Bloods because we used to watch a lot of
- 50:10Speaker 4: wrestling now, you know. It was also just like yeah,
- 50:14Speaker 4: like I have videos from them from two thousand and three,
- 50:17Speaker 4: like DDT and each other and doing all kinds of
- 50:20Speaker 4: crazy ship. So we used to fight like that. Yeah.
- 50:24Speaker 4: She was.
- 50:26Speaker 10: Like, he's crazy because he don't have no regard for
- 50:34Speaker 10: his own body.
- 50:39Speaker 4: He'll hurt you even if if it hurts him, like
- 50:41Speaker 4: he don't care. So we used to We used to
- 50:44Speaker 4: like play fight and then we would also fight fight,
- 50:48Speaker 4: but not it wasn't like a toxic nasty like y'all
- 50:52Speaker 4: hate my siblings, I'm gonna kill you. Maybe when we
- 50:55Speaker 4: were younger, I think we had maybe one or two
- 50:57Speaker 4: fights like that. You know, in between. But we were
- 51:00Speaker 4: talking about this the other day, like we we fuck
- 51:02Speaker 4: with each other now. Like I think the older we got,
- 51:05Speaker 4: the more we understand each other, the more accepting we are,
- 51:08Speaker 4: you know, like we learn each other in different eras
- 51:10Speaker 4: of our life. And it's like, shit, if I could
- 51:13Speaker 4: be with any any place, anywhere, I'm gonna always choose
- 51:16Speaker 4: being with my siblings always, no matter what.
- 51:19Speaker 1: That's dope because that reminds me.
- 51:23Speaker 3: I see, y'all two relationship. It reminds me of me
- 51:25Speaker 3: and my oldest my sister, my only sister. And it's
- 51:28Speaker 3: like we're cool now we're like two.
- 51:30Speaker 1: Like two years apart, but like, yeah, we used to
- 51:33Speaker 1: really get really get active.
- 51:35Speaker 2: Used to fight.
- 51:36Speaker 3: Oh my sister, we got active, We got like we
- 51:40Speaker 3: used to always fuck each other up. It's one time,
- 51:43Speaker 3: one time we got into a fight with a blanket
- 51:44Speaker 3: and she pulled a knife on me. I did that too,
- 51:48Speaker 3: because I was like, it's my blanket and she was like, no,
- 51:51Speaker 3: it's mine, and she kept taking it and I was like,
- 51:53Speaker 3: I think I was being an asshole.
- 51:54Speaker 1: I think it was.
- 51:55Speaker 3: And I was taking this prize. I'm bigger than you
- 51:58Speaker 3: and I'm taking this ship. She got up, she went
- 52:01Speaker 3: in that kitchen. I was like, I'm like, do it.
- 52:05Speaker 3: She wouldn't do it.
- 52:07Speaker 1: I'm like, what my dog?
- 52:14Speaker 2: Yeah you you definitely always have dumb fights. Like one
- 52:19Speaker 2: time and my brother will be over a muffin ouff over.
- 52:23Speaker 2: So my sister makes these uh sweet potanta muffins with
- 52:26Speaker 2: like a little cream cheese ship. That's how this. We
- 52:32Speaker 2: were in our twenties. My sister. Now now it wasn't
- 52:41Speaker 2: like a fight fight, but like it was one of
- 52:44Speaker 2: those like like trying to serve dominance, like a scuffle.
- 52:47Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, kerfuffle. So like I was saving this muffin.
- 52:53Speaker 2: It was the last one, Like I promise you these
- 52:57Speaker 2: the last phenomenal. Every time I'm like, yo, you're making
- 53:01Speaker 2: the muffins, She's like this stuff. I make the muffins.
- 53:04Speaker 2: Always buy this stuff. So I get home. When you
- 53:07Speaker 2: get home and your food's not in refrigerator, we're supposed
- 53:09Speaker 2: to be. That's that takes you over the top. Recently,
- 53:14Speaker 2: that that takes you over the top. So I'm like, yo,
- 53:16Speaker 2: where's my where's my muffin? And he was literally in
- 53:20Speaker 2: the middle of eating it, damn.
- 53:23Speaker 1: Just like I don't left him right.
- 53:26Speaker 2: Like like like like he was like peeling the paper,
- 53:30Speaker 2: like he was taking the panties off the muffin, taking
- 53:35Speaker 2: the panties off the muffins. And I grabbed him. I'm like, yo,
- 53:39Speaker 2: grab I'm.
- 53:40Speaker 4: Like put my ship down, damn serious.
- 53:45Speaker 2: Down, and like we we like like no blows were thrown,
- 53:49Speaker 2: but we were like out here trying to I'm like, listen,
- 53:51Speaker 2: I'm a little boring more like like you ain't just
- 53:55Speaker 2: muscle exactly like up on you exactly. Like I'm like
- 54:01Speaker 2: that ain't ship no more, big boy nothing, big boy
- 54:05Speaker 2: with something. But yeah, man, you got heard. But no
- 54:10Speaker 2: he hated, no, no, no, no, no, no no. But
- 54:16Speaker 2: I grabbed him like in the mile of it, like
- 54:18Speaker 2: like like he got his teeth into it, and like
- 54:20Speaker 2: once you get your slive on it, I wanted no
- 54:21Speaker 2: more but niggas like through my mom and he's like,
- 54:28Speaker 2: what are you doing? I'm like my muffing, But but
- 54:35Speaker 2: that's my dog man. Like he moved down to Florida.
- 54:39Speaker 2: We talk every now and then.
- 54:40Speaker 3: Nothing makes you know, brothers closer than thousands of miles.
- 54:44Speaker 7: Yeah, you know my man spots and pants, I said,
- 54:48Speaker 7: you know, me and my brother we got the same temperament,
- 54:50Speaker 7: so it was a boring house.
- 54:52Speaker 2: We didn't really fight like that.
- 54:53Speaker 7: Like like now it's to the point because I live
- 54:56Speaker 7: my brother so and we have a younger brother.
- 54:58Speaker 2: But he don't even really do nothing. But my brother.
- 55:01Speaker 7: Blair, who was in the middle, he just does little ship
- 55:05Speaker 7: that just pisses me off.
- 55:06Speaker 2: But we don't fight it.
- 55:07Speaker 7: I'll just like what the fuck, Like like I said,
- 55:09Speaker 7: like the other day, he ate my food.
- 55:11Speaker 2: He's like anything, he's gonna eat it. De Lauren would
- 55:14Speaker 2: do the same thing. He was like it was in
- 55:15Speaker 2: there for like, it doesn't matter. You knew I waited
- 55:21Speaker 2: that ship.
- 55:22Speaker 1: But they'd be like, yo, but it was in the
- 55:23Speaker 1: fridge for like a day, Nigga.
- 55:26Speaker 4: I just.
- 55:27Speaker 2: Supposed to you.
- 55:28Speaker 3: You went to sleep last night it wasn't there, and
- 55:31Speaker 3: you woke up it was there. That's not enough time
- 55:34Speaker 3: for you to say he doesn't want it.
- 55:37Speaker 1: It hasn't even been there a full day, yo. Man,
- 55:40Speaker 1: it's been sitting there for so long. It's been sitting
- 55:43Speaker 1: there since one and it's nine now.
- 55:44Speaker 2: Either way, it wasn't yours. You didn't buy it. That's
- 55:48Speaker 2: that's the principal of it. Like you didn't put it there,
- 55:50Speaker 2: don't touch it.
- 55:51Speaker 1: I don't know how like in my house, well not.
- 55:54Speaker 3: Me because I'm I'm civilized, but they just they have
- 55:57Speaker 3: like a magical counter that goes down in their head
- 55:59Speaker 3: like there a certain amount of time.
- 56:01Speaker 1: You clearly don't want it no more, so I'm going
- 56:03Speaker 1: to eat it now.
- 56:04Speaker 7: My mom was the main corporate of that. That's probably
- 56:06Speaker 7: what really motivated me to actually move out.
- 56:08Speaker 2: Your mommy and your left over. You're trying to tell
- 56:10Speaker 2: you something. I couldn't have anything.
- 56:12Speaker 1: One too many cards, check for lake nuggets, went away nothing.
- 56:15Speaker 2: If it went to fridge, my mom was gonna eat it.
- 56:17Speaker 2: I just did not. I can't have nothing. Yeah, like
- 56:21Speaker 2: you don't cook for me, so this is just second best.
- 56:24Speaker 2: I guess that's reparation.
- 56:25Speaker 1: We're gonna work on that down. We're gonna work on Yeah.
- 56:27Speaker 2: Yeah, we gonna got plans. We don't get you right,
- 56:29Speaker 2: I can't cook, but I got plans I got We're
- 56:31Speaker 2: gonna get in the kitchen. He told me about your plans. Yeah, I already. Yeah,
- 56:35Speaker 2: we're getting there.
- 56:36Speaker 4: Fun to see I do like a cooking class.
- 56:38Speaker 2: Yeah, that's one of the ideas. So I say, do
- 56:40Speaker 2: you want to say the idea you can. So the
- 56:42Speaker 2: idea is, like I said, I'll burn water. You know
- 56:45Speaker 2: what I'm saying.
- 56:45Speaker 7: I have no business be in the kitchen. I can
- 56:48Speaker 7: build stuff, I can't make none. So the plan is
- 56:50Speaker 7: they're gonna coach me through cooking, but they can't help
- 56:54Speaker 7: me and I just have to do it.
- 56:55Speaker 4: Okay. So that's that'll be a fun one should record that.
- 56:59Speaker 1: I love that need.
- 57:00Speaker 2: Yeah, we talked and we talked about a brand new Yeah,
- 57:08Speaker 2: that's the that's the plan. So we're gonna try to
- 57:11Speaker 2: and then like a week or a month away from now,
- 57:13Speaker 2: he'll come into the group table, like you know, it
- 57:15Speaker 2: would be a good idea if if if we if
- 57:18Speaker 2: Elsie had to cook, but like we have to make
- 57:21Speaker 2: it a game to like where we can't help him
- 57:23Speaker 2: and then like we then judge the food as he
- 57:25Speaker 2: made it. But yeah, we know he's done.
- 57:28Speaker 1: It's something I just thought him today.
- 57:30Speaker 4: Yo.
- 57:30Speaker 1: Too many times we should have cookshit for weekend?
- 57:34Speaker 2: Too many times? Too many times? Like Mike, are you
- 57:36Speaker 2: even in the group chat?
- 57:37Speaker 1: Bro?
- 57:39Speaker 5: No?
- 57:40Speaker 1: No?
- 57:41Speaker 2: All right, next question for Liz Belle.
- 57:45Speaker 5: Let's see, I guess it's about the podcast in general.
- 57:49Speaker 5: Has there been a time you felt like y'all were
- 57:51Speaker 5: crossing the line, and what was the impact. Oh wait,
- 57:55Speaker 5: outside the show, if any they.
- 57:59Speaker 2: Trying to get me talking about never mind that, you know.
- 58:02Speaker 4: I mean, I don't mind answer that question. I'm pretty open.
- 58:05Speaker 4: I'm an open book. There was a moment on the show,
- 58:08Speaker 4: and it was at the beginning of the beginning of
- 58:12Speaker 4: season two. There was a moment on the show. And
- 58:14Speaker 4: this is just a testament of like how it feels
- 58:17Speaker 4: to be a woman in like a male dominator space
- 58:20Speaker 4: because we at that point, we didn't have p Y,
- 58:22Speaker 4: which is somebody, a beautiful woman who's now helping us.
- 58:25Speaker 4: But at that moment, it was just me and all
- 58:28Speaker 4: of the guys. And I remember there was a subject
- 58:31Speaker 4: presented on the show that I did not want to
- 58:34Speaker 4: talk about. Specifically. I was like, I don't want to
- 58:37Speaker 4: talk about this because the optics messy a bunch of shit.
- 58:42Speaker 4: And in that moment, I was like, Yo, we're fucking recording,
- 58:44Speaker 4: Like we've never stopped down on a recording. Once we
- 58:46Speaker 4: start it, just we just go. And I remember we
- 58:51Speaker 4: started it and I was so uncomfortable and I don't
- 58:53Speaker 4: like sitting with that because you could tell in my
- 58:55Speaker 4: face and my energy like something is off. So I
- 58:58Speaker 4: sat with there for like two minus and I was like, damn, bro, like,
- 59:01Speaker 4: I can't go. We just started the show. I can't
- 59:02Speaker 4: go the rest of the show with that in mind,
- 59:05Speaker 4: and with that in the show when I know I
- 59:08Speaker 4: don't have that out right. So I remember my sister
- 59:12Speaker 4: was with me that day, which is very rare, but
- 59:15Speaker 4: I was like, yo, can we can we cut the
- 59:17Speaker 4: cameras And they looked at me and they was like huh.
- 59:21Speaker 4: They thought I was joking at first, because again, everything
- 59:24Speaker 4: is comedy over there, and I was like, now for real,
- 59:26Speaker 4: like we gotta cut the cameras, and we cut the cameras.
- 59:28Speaker 4: I voiced what I felt. I was nervous as fuck
- 59:30Speaker 4: because again, I'm a woman in a male dominated field.
- 59:34Speaker 4: I'm also talking to people who are respected in their fields.
- 59:36Speaker 4: It's not like these motherfuckers don't know what they're doing.
- 59:39Speaker 4: They know what they're doing.
- 59:40Speaker 2: They didn't just come off the street exactly like.
- 59:42Speaker 4: I respect these people, every single one of them in
- 59:44Speaker 4: their own fields and as a unit. But I was like,
- 59:47Speaker 4: I can't do it. I can't do this, not like
- 59:50Speaker 4: that's an uncomfortable, like I know, yeah, I know that
- 59:52Speaker 4: feeling of like yo, I should say something or I
- 59:54Speaker 4: should do something, and then you know that feeling when
- 59:57Speaker 4: you don't do it, it lingers with you and you're
- 59:59Speaker 4: just like, yo, fuck should have Like I knew it
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: and I should have did it. I should have said
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: something and I didn't. And I thought that feeling with
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: most of my life, and I'm like, I'm done with it.
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: I'm not gonna go into this huge, beautiful job that
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: I love and also bring that feeling. And I had
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: the conversation right there, and this is what I love
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: about the victory, like team Bro that there is no pride,
- 1:00:20Speaker 4: there is no ego, there is no fucking hierarchy where
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: it's just like what I say goes no. Everybody is
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: on the even playing field. Everybody understands what we're here
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: to do, and everybody's like, I whatever, if this makes
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: you feel uncomfortable, say let's you know, like it's just
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: that it's that comfort of like, yo, this is family,
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: you know so whatever, Yeah, Like it doesn't matter even
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: if I feel fucked up about something or rainy or
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: murror whatever, we're able to say, yo, we're not doing
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: that and everybody can take that information in without being like, oh,
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: fuck this person, you know, like fuck fucking difficult. No,
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: Like everybody tries to understand each other to the best
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: of our abilities. So yeah, okay, that was one of
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: my proud moments of like, I I'm I need to
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: be this kind of person, Like this is the girl
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: that I dreamed of being when I was a little girl.
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: Like standing up for yourself, standing up for what you
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: feel is right, and just going based off of your
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: intuition and making sure you're making the right decisions. You know,
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: no matter what room you go into.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: Had you getting on the inside. After you did it, it
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: was like, yeah, I did that shit stand up?
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean shit, I was nervous as far, but yeah,
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: it was. It was like one of those moments where
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: I was very proud of myself.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: Yeah that's good, that's good. That's yeah.
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: I don't know if this is an inside joke based
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: on the pod, Maybe it's something I missed, but it
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: says Liz and Rainy met on set. How has that
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: relationship developed over time? Is he coming to the birth
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: birthday parties yet?
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: Yeah? Funny enough, Raindy did show off for my last birthday.
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: He pulled up to my grandmother's house and it was
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: literally just me, my siblings, my own It was just
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: like us. And he popped up on me. Mind you, Rady,
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: do not come to queenspro September September twenty eighth. Okay, okay,
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: so yeah, he shit, he popped I didn't. I wasn't
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: expecting him, Like I sent him the address and he
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: popped up and he was just chilling in the living
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: room with my fucking uncles and shit, And I'm like,
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: I love this guy, bro, Like Rady. Rady is such
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: a gem of a person just he's of course, you
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: see his talent, you see his music, his comedy. That
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: dude is out of this world creatively. I don't, I don't.
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: I don't think I've met anybody like Randy who was
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: so freely creative and good at whatever he chooses to do.
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: But also he's just a really good fucking person, you know,
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: Like it's a really good person.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: That's a dude, that's a free dude right there.
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: I Like, I like that's the perfect word to describe him,
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: describe him because when we we only met him, obviously
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: the one time when he was on the show, but
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: we literally spent the first thirty minutes talking about his
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: respecting me.
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: Yeah, and he was just.
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: So cool about it, like yeah, you know, man, he's
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: supposed to be like jerk off at least forty times
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: left over.
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: That sounds about type of things.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: My doctor's like, you can't do that. You got to
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: pay attention to those. I'm like, yeah, like I never see.
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: He's just so open and it's like, yeah, like he
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: sold himself and it's like he didn't really, but he
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: has he has his things that he stands on and
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: he was firming that too. So and I only picked
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: that up for only being around him for about a
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: couple hours and obviously what you see online, so like yeah.
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, Rainy's phenomenal.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: Shout out to Rainey, shout out.
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: He was just on the radar.
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: I posted it. It was like, yeah, this is I
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: love that song.
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: Actually, yeah, I've seen him perform live too. I went
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: to one of his shows and I surprised him there too.
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: Did you know that? I was pulling up fucking body
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: bag like he is a phenomenal performer.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: Because I know he said he doesn't really do those
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: that much.
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: Damn. I honestly, he's he's done a few, especially in
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: the summer. He had a few, but I've only I've
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: only been to one on live performance.
- 1:04:06Speaker 5: Yeah, all right, next question for Liz Bill. I guess
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: this is more just general podcast question. Is there any
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: interest in doing.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: Oh this is specifically for this person.
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: They said, would y'all Victory like be interested in doing
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: live shows and say New Orleans anytime soon?
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: Oh shit, fuck hell yeah. Yeah. We actually have our
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: second live show on February twenty fifth at the on
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: Air Fest. So it's gonna be our second time doing
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: an actual like live show with an audience. But nore
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: Orleans would be sick.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: I would love no.
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: Never I've been you know, I've been one. I've been
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: trying to go.
- 1:04:43Speaker 7: On, like the trip I went for Marty Grod right
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: before COVID. Oh shit, I'm pretty sure it started COVID.
- 1:04:51Speaker 7: I was in the street doing push ups exactly.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: That's how lit I was.
- 1:04:57Speaker 7: Somebody was like push up contest said it was fun
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: to break food.
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: Yeah, like the best That's what I was gonna say,
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: the best food breakfast on the best breakfast I've ever
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: had in my life I've had.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: There is that I already forgot the police name already.
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: And said, you always talk about this, it's so good.
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: It was the best biscuits, egg and cheese in my life.
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: And I'm like it was so delicious and being the
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: food there is phenomenal that that grenade drink is the
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: real drink that you only need one. It will get
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: you right just walking up and down the thing. Yeah,
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: it's a it's a great city even show.
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: Just go, just go. I have to go.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: If I ever go, I plan on being that guy
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: that has his own parade.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Huh, you can do that. You go to police.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: It was like the city hall. You do the paperworkout,
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: you can have your own parade.
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: Like a second line. You would just say, I think
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: it's not I think it's cheap too.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: I'm sure there is nothing crazy. And period has the
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: own float like well, I don't.
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: Think it's like it's not like a floor. It's like,
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: you know, just the band, like the the second line,
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: like the band follow you around and be gonna bar hoping,
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: just like apparently as a.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: Playing the route out and stuff. They're playing the route.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: Out and yeah, yeah I'm gonna be that tourist.
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: I like that.
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: Yeah, because I know the people from there, they're all
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: about that because they have they have a band in
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: the airport they like in the live of the airport
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: they're playing like live, like that New Orleans jazz type.
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: That's what I want.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: I want to they they embraced.
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: Who they are, that they fully lean into it, like
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: it's I remember coming on playing all here.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: They down Ye.
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what my spirit needs. That's what I've been
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: wanting to go to, like a jazz fest for a while.
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: And I know that that's like the home of it.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: That's just you in your thirties now.
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: Was lately too, like I'm working with the blues. I'm like,
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: I don't know if it's with age or just like
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: you're getting not Yeah, it is with age, because.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: It's like you free form jazz.
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: Yeah, but it's like you get a little bit of
- 1:07:11Speaker 4: a little bit of acquired taste of like good music.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: You know. Yeah.
- 1:07:15Speaker 7: And I went down there and I saw some little
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: blues bars. It felt like I was in the movie Dang.
- 1:07:20Speaker 7: I need that really need that experience.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: That's what I need.
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: Yeah, I need to feel like there's I also want
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: to feel like there's a paranormal something happening.
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: Yes, because I heard that.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: That's like.
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: I don't I don't want it to really happen. I
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: just want to feel like the Thriller.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: But it might be they have a museum of death and.
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: That's a little too.
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: Fun, that one I'm talking about like Casper, Like.
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: From there, I really thought I lived with a ghost
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: majority of my life, So now I don't actually.
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: Want Yeah, I'm telling you when I don't see.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: My parents house definitely got a ghost in it, definitely.
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: Anyway, I don't see few I believe I don't see.
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: I don't heard. Yes, I've seen all my eyes I
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: ever heard of. What's that fucking valley in Long Island,
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: sleepy hollow road?
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: Oh uh, that sounds familiar. Isn't like a long it's
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: one long street.
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: Yes, it's one long street like in the woods. Yes,
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: you gotta take a little exit and it's like hitting. Yeah.
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: And this is why I don't hang out with white
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: people no more, because this was one of the worst,
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: the first like white people, like white American people that
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: I met and he was like, yo, like I know
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: this haunted spot, like we should go, and me being
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: a fucking dumb ass. Nineteen year old. I'm like, yeah,
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: fucking let's go adventure. And we drove through this street
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: right first sign Confederate flag. Should have turned around, but
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: I didn't listen. Yeah, but it's like in the woods,
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying. Like it's so it's so like, yeah,
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: it's very hidden. And he was like, yo, there was
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: like a bus that that that flipped and a bunch
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: of people passed away. So if you go into the bridge,
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: you put the car in neutral, it's gonna it's gonna
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: move by itself. And I was like, first of all,
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: I don't believe none of that. Ship. We go under
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: the bridge, he turns off the lights, puts the car
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: in neutral, in the car starts moving. It's like a
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: little hill starts going up. And I'm like, yo, stop
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: sucking around, Like stop stop doing that, bro, stop moving
- 1:09:21Speaker 4: the car. And he'sa liked, yo, I'm dead. That's not
- 1:09:23Speaker 4: moving the car. And I'm like, you're white. You're absolutely.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: Because you are white, and.
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: He was like he was like no, like bro, look
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: la la la look. And then finally I'm like all right.
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: We were like two other girls and they were like
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: all right, bro, like that's it. I'm done with the
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: I'm done with the jokes. Let's go. And he's like,
- 1:09:42Speaker 4: I bet. So he turns the lights back on, and
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: I swear to you, I see this huge cloud of
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: smoke come from the top of the car, of the windshield,
- 1:09:54Speaker 4: and go over the cut of the car and go
- 1:09:57Speaker 4: over right. This ship comes up of nowhere as soon
- 1:10:01Speaker 4: as he turns apart, and we left right and I
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: recorded this. You can't see it, but you could hear us,
- 1:10:06Speaker 4: and you could like literally hear us screaming for our
- 1:10:09Speaker 4: dear life. So we drive because we got to get out.
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: You have to drive towards the end. And then for
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: you to take that street again, you gotta do a
- 1:10:16Speaker 4: fucking like you gotta go out and come back in.
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: So we went. We came back in. This is like
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: the white Spaniard side of me coming back in. And
- 1:10:25Speaker 4: that's when I was We went back under the bridge
- 1:10:27Speaker 4: and he did it again. He did it again, and
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: I kid you now, I swear on my life he
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: turned those lights on and that fucking cloud of smoke
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: came from the bottom right of the car over the hood.
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: Y'all don't believe me, y'all don't.
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: Have no no, I no listen, I believe you. I
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: don't know why you went back.
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: I'm a dumb bitch.
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: I don't play with him. I don't. So the other day,
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: I'm telling you this. It's a ghost my parents house
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: and lives in the laundry room. So right now, lives
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: in that back area. I have too many stories of
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: stuff going on in that back area. So I go
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: to my parents' house the other day. Nobody's home. My
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: parents are in Florida. Right now. I had to go
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: pick up some packages, and I walked into the kitchen
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: and the light is on inside the laundry room, and
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm like, oh, my bad, Like I'll be
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: having a conversation with the ghost. I'm like, I'm like,
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: my bad, I ain't mean to disturb you. I don't
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: live here no more. Like I just came here to
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: pick up some packages.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: I'm leave.
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: I But but when I was like, all right, I'm
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: gonna leave, the light turned off, and I'm like, all right,
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: all right, okay, let me grab my ship, let me
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: I won't leave, you know, because I'm like, I'm a guessing.
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: I don't live no more. You didn't think nobody was
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: gonna come into the house. So you was just out
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: here doing your normal business. That's my fault, normal business.
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: I apologize, I grab. I don't know why he is
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: he is they are, dang they are. They're definitely sure.
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: But yeah, I'm like, that's my apologies. Go about your business.
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: I'm gonna turn on a larmow, locked the door on
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: my way up. My apologies. Yeah, yeah, I respect that.
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: It's just like, even even if you hallucinated and it's
- 1:12:18Speaker 4: like still, it's rather I'd rather be safe than sorry.
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: Exactly you got yeah, I mean your space, you got
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: nothing for you. I was like, as long as as
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: long as you don't do no creepy ship. You never
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: did no creepy stuff.
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: One time, it sounds it sounds like somebody was walking
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: with heels coming from the laundry room. Me and my
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: pops in the living room, and we both flicked at
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: each other like because we we we knew were the
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: only people downstairs. My mom was upstairs, so we looked
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: at each other like, what the hell was that? What
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: I do? I went to bed? You smart, well, that's
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: just time to time and go to sleep. You can
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: stay down here and see what it is me. Once
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: you under the covers, stay can't get you. You all
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: know that. So that's in the Ghostly law book. Yeah,
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: they can't get you when you underneath the covers, like
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: the covers Shield were number one. Undercovers, it's safe. It's like,
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: damn almost got them over Your bad you don't have
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: a foot out, snatch your ass.
- 1:13:22Speaker 5: Question another question, So, as a creative, how do you
- 1:13:25Speaker 5: feel about the state of creativity being pushed away for
- 1:13:28Speaker 5: AI laziness.
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: That's a great question. I talk about this a lot.
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: I think it's a there's a very pushed and concerned
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: effort to make us dumber and to make us more
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: isolated and less community based. And all of that comes
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: with you creating. Like if you don't create, you just
- 1:13:52Speaker 4: you become a consumer. You'll just watch whatever they give you.
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: So if you don't create anything and you don't know
- 1:13:58Speaker 4: what painting or like writing something or making music or
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: something that comes from your heart and soul, you will
- 1:14:04Speaker 4: listen to an a artist and be like, yo, this
- 1:14:06Speaker 4: shit is fire. Like you will you will look at
- 1:14:09Speaker 4: some piece of like terrible AI movie or some shit
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: that just looks terrible. And if you are used to
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: watching shit like that. You'll just get used to watching
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: shit like that, but you won't have anything to give
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: or add to the conversation. And to me, it's like
- 1:14:24Speaker 4: everybody has something to add, everybody, whether it's you like
- 1:14:28Speaker 4: to draw, you like to make music, you like to paint,
- 1:14:30Speaker 4: you like to deal with animals. Like I feel like
- 1:14:33Speaker 4: everybody has something and they want us to be in
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: the crib. Order your uber eats, order your groceries, listen
- 1:14:42Speaker 4: to fucking books, watch movies made by a fucking computer.
- 1:14:47Speaker 4: You know, like they just want you in your crib dumb, yeah,
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: dumb and consuming whatever they give you so that you
- 1:14:54Speaker 4: are not Because again, even you expressing yourself creatively is
- 1:14:58Speaker 4: like that. To me, that's you fighting even fascism, Like
- 1:15:03Speaker 4: that's literally you fighting against the green of Like you're
- 1:15:07Speaker 4: just gonna consume, have children, and die. That's your motive,
- 1:15:11Speaker 4: you know. You you here to exist, make us money,
- 1:15:14Speaker 4: and then kill yourself. That's what you're here for. When creatively,
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: when you start doing shit that fulfills your soul and
- 1:15:21Speaker 4: makes you happy, that shit makes you believe in the world,
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: It makes you believe in humanity, It makes you believe
- 1:15:25Speaker 4: in each other.
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: Like you know what I think want to bounce it
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: on top of that. Off of that, like when you create,
- 1:15:31Speaker 3: it also gives you like appreciation for what goes into
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: making these things. Yeah, So like when you see something
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: that's AI, in your mind is like, oh, a computer
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: made this whatever, Like you're just gonna consume. But if like,
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: if you know, like say you watch a podcast, you
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: know four or five people who ever took the time
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: to go to a studio or they had their original
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: thoughts and then somebody mixed this, somebody was behind the
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: monitor editing, then somebody edited again, or like somebody wrote
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: a book, somebody made to beat somebody just whatever. Like
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: you know, there's a lot of effort and time and
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: and and.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Love and energy put into it.
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: So you kind of you're more appreciative of what comes
- 1:16:17Speaker 3: out of the art or whatever whatever is created. And
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: I feel like with AI, it's if you don't that's
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: not there because you know it's just a computer consciousness
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: or whatever it is. It's effort gets spit out whatever,
- 1:16:34Speaker 3: you know what I mean.
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: All the effort was on the back end writing.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that's why.
- 1:16:41Speaker 4: What you want them to do?
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: Okay, no.
- 1:16:52Speaker 3: Problem, no problem, there's a lot of water in them
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: bottles they filled up.
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: Locked people kind of just like walking.
- 1:17:02Speaker 5: Okay, we're podcasting forever T shirt.
- 1:17:09Speaker 10: I don't want to shirt you guys.
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: Mm hmmmmmm. You were talking.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I was talking with you.
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: So yeah, like you know they got a music artists now, yeah,
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: timbling you wrong for that?
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: You know he is.
- 1:17:32Speaker 4: You could tell he doesn't feel because he'd be going
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: back and forth with a lot of people over that,
- 1:17:37Speaker 4: like he doesn't feel like he's doing anything wrong.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: And that's so scary.
- 1:17:41Speaker 7: It's just chasing money, Like he's chasing money when you're
- 1:17:44Speaker 7: chasing money.
- 1:17:46Speaker 5: Yeah, but it's like one of the i'd say greatest
- 1:17:48Speaker 5: producers of our generation or genre, you know, more than anybody.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: I don't know, nobody like a. I can't recreate that.
- 1:18:03Speaker 5: And with that, it's like AI needs actual music to
- 1:18:09Speaker 5: make its music off of.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: There's not any like stealing at some level, it's stealing.
- 1:18:14Speaker 4: A lot of people was coming at him for that
- 1:18:16Speaker 4: because before he launched the Asian AI Artists, he was
- 1:18:21Speaker 4: having a bunch of new artists on his line. And
- 1:18:26Speaker 4: it's like, I you could probably say you didn't use
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: none of that, but put two and two together. Why
- 1:18:30Speaker 4: are you funneling these new artists that are making sure
- 1:18:34Speaker 4: from scratching their crib and then a few months later
- 1:18:37Speaker 4: you got a goddamn AI artist making making bullshit bullshit me.
- 1:18:44Speaker 4: And another thing about about the AI like chat gyb
- 1:18:47Speaker 4: T ship, is that it takes a It takes away
- 1:18:50Speaker 4: a lot of money from creatives in itself, you know,
- 1:18:53Speaker 4: Like that's one thing, Like you have an editor, you
- 1:18:56Speaker 4: have somebody who specializes in editing and making things look
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: and sound great. That's a that's a that's a skill. Yes,
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: that's something that people work hard to perfect and then
- 1:19:08Speaker 4: they enjoy it, you know what I mean? Like how
- 1:19:12Speaker 4: how how can we keep the shit together where everybody's eating?
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: Like I want to create the sound. I want to
- 1:19:17Speaker 4: create the song. I know that I can write the
- 1:19:19Speaker 4: lyrics and I can create the vocals, but I need
- 1:19:22Speaker 4: an engineer. I need somebody to make the beat. I
- 1:19:24Speaker 4: need somebody to put a video together, you know, Like
- 1:19:27Speaker 4: the money stays in the commun in the community of
- 1:19:30Speaker 4: like whoever it is that you do want to work with.
- 1:19:33Speaker 5: And that's like the like what I think about, like
- 1:19:36Speaker 5: what is the goal of an AI artist? And in
- 1:19:38Speaker 5: my head, it's just to have it where the label
- 1:19:42Speaker 5: or this little amount of people are making money off
- 1:19:45Speaker 5: of this is possible.
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: Hands.
- 1:19:48Speaker 4: There's three yeah, and two of them are fake.
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: Yep. Yeah, It's like, what's what's the point? Like I
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: understand the point, but like nasty.
- 1:19:56Speaker 4: Yeah, I feel like as a creative person, it's very
- 1:19:59Speaker 4: hard to understand that world unless you to me, it's
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: like you a fucking a leech. You want to latch
- 1:20:07Speaker 4: onto something and suck all of the money and blood
- 1:20:10Speaker 4: out of it, but you don't want to put any
- 1:20:11Speaker 4: actual work into it.
- 1:20:12Speaker 5: Like that is okay, that is that is capitalism.
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: That is capitalism.
- 1:20:21Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't I don't want to get too anti capitalist.
- 1:20:25Speaker 5: But there was a like some senate hearing or something
- 1:20:27Speaker 5: that happened like last week, and they were talking about
- 1:20:31Speaker 5: like pharmacy companies, like the insurance companies, and how like
- 1:20:39Speaker 5: they own many tiers of the system of medical care
- 1:20:41Speaker 5: and how technically they are have a legal duty to
- 1:20:46Speaker 5: make more money for their shareholders, and the way their
- 1:20:49Speaker 5: system is set up is pretty much exploiting people. But
- 1:20:54Speaker 5: they are legally exploiting people because the system is set
- 1:20:57Speaker 5: up to where that is what they are supposed to do.
- 1:21:00Speaker 5: You can't make a decision that's not gonna make your
- 1:21:02Speaker 5: sharehold shareholders money. Yeah, and it's just like this system
- 1:21:05Speaker 5: obviously is messed up if that's what's going on.
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: Even messed up, that's no that.
- 1:21:11Speaker 5: I mean, it's working, it's working as its design, but
- 1:21:13Speaker 5: it's messed up for us.
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:21:15Speaker 4: Yeah, honestly, I gotta. I was having this conversation with
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: one of my friends and no One the other day
- 1:21:19Speaker 4: where it's like, I have to be anti capitalists. I
- 1:21:23Speaker 4: have to be because once you peel back the fucking layers,
- 1:21:28Speaker 4: every single layer, right, and.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: It doesn't take many layers, just like.
- 1:21:31Speaker 4: It doesn't, but people will justify it a million fucking
- 1:21:34Speaker 4: a million fucking ways.
- 1:21:35Speaker 5: And there'll be people that don't benefit from you don't
- 1:21:37Speaker 5: even think.
- 1:21:39Speaker 4: But it's like that that's they want you. Yeah, they
- 1:21:42Speaker 4: still want you in.
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: That mentality of that benefits them.
- 1:21:45Speaker 4: Even if you'll never be a billionaire, you still like
- 1:21:47Speaker 4: for a billionaire rights. But it's like once you peel
- 1:21:50Speaker 4: back the layers, no matter what conversation, no matter who
- 1:21:52Speaker 4: you have in it with, it always boils down to
- 1:21:55Speaker 4: people not caring about each other. And it's just like shit,
- 1:21:58Speaker 4: If I can make a hundred bands and somebody somewhere
- 1:22:01Speaker 4: else is suffering because of it, I don't I don't
- 1:22:04Speaker 4: give a fuck. You know, it's like those once we
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: get to that point of like you don't care about
- 1:22:09Speaker 4: your neighbor, or you don't care about somebody who maybe
- 1:22:11Speaker 4: speaks a different language or they practice a different religion,
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: just so that you could have a fucking sea through
- 1:22:17Speaker 4: microwave like that. That ship, to me is like that's
- 1:22:20Speaker 4: a testament.
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: Of your character, and we we pretty much living in
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: that time right now.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: Is pretty dope.
- 1:22:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I know a thief who has a sea through toaster.
- 1:22:32Speaker 4: He has a see through He's a thief. He's a
- 1:22:34Speaker 4: known thief.
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: You can.
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: He bought that out?
- 1:22:42Speaker 4: No, the mother be stealing, he'd be he does like
- 1:22:45Speaker 4: fake dealership papers. People have been looking for him forever
- 1:22:48Speaker 4: because he's he's like a real thief, like not not
- 1:22:52Speaker 4: like somebody who's steal Like a letter from your fucking
- 1:22:55Speaker 4: monopoly said, no, this motherfucker is stealing thousands of dollars
- 1:23:00Speaker 4: from different people who are trying to buy cars. And
- 1:23:03Speaker 4: then the motherfucker got to see through toast at the
- 1:23:05Speaker 4: crib like you can't even go to sleep peacefully, bro,
- 1:23:08Speaker 4: because you want to look at your bread be toasted.
- 1:23:11Speaker 4: You could chill bro.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: On everything.
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: You said you got any weapons.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: I don't trust that.
- 1:23:23Speaker 4: Man.
- 1:23:23Speaker 11: I don't trust that shout out looking at me, funny, Okay, okay, all.
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: Right, I'll go to our normal questions. Speaking of billionaires,
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: eat them.
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:23:39Speaker 5: If Elon Musk asked sorry, If Elon Musk accidentally sent
- 1:23:44Speaker 5: you a million dollars and he asked you to send
- 1:23:46Speaker 5: it back, what would you say to him?
- 1:23:48Speaker 7: In three words, I would say, send a nigga picture
- 1:23:52Speaker 7: of my ass.
- 1:23:54Speaker 12: This is where you take it from, just like but right.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: The ATM, the ass teller machine, nigga. Yo.
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: He would never see that money.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: They would get a picture by Cooper.
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: Three words would be, it's already gone.
- 1:24:12Speaker 4: Right, collect the fun that little one million gonna do
- 1:24:15Speaker 4: to you. You're like eight hundred and seventy billion dollars
- 1:24:18Speaker 4: in Funck off my phone.

- 1:24:26Speaker 2: along that money. Fuck you collect these move away, dick

- 1:24:35Speaker 4: Yes, and I've been I've been on his ass, bro
- 1:24:37Speaker 4: before it was even cool. I used to tell my
- 1:24:40Speaker 4: friends all the time, Yo, he's a loser. He's a
- 1:24:42Speaker 4: fucking loser. Just wait for it.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: I ain't knowing a.
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: Loser in a fraud. He is Steve.
- 1:24:47Speaker 3: He's ever done fraudulent Tesla, not him, stay sex, not him, nothing.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: He's just the hypera bullshit.
- 1:25:03Speaker 5: I'm gonna make a system that's gonna move people underground
- 1:25:08Speaker 5: in Vegas. The system is just Tesla's being driven by people.
- 1:25:12Speaker 5: You made him, You made a less efficient subway system
- 1:25:16Speaker 5: using cars. It's only.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: We talked about last week.
- 1:25:24Speaker 3: He's so weird that the freaking nasty people don't even
- 1:25:27Speaker 3: want to be around him.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: He was trying to go to the island.
- 1:25:30Speaker 4: They was like, so we we we sold that ship.
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: Broland me trying to address I'll send it to.
- 1:25:42Speaker 4: We'll meet you there. No, he is, he is. He
- 1:25:47Speaker 4: is the worst. Well he's the best study case for
- 1:25:50Speaker 4: like somebody who craves acceptance, like in every avenue. To me,
- 1:25:55Speaker 4: it's even a little bit sad. And then I snapped
- 1:25:57Speaker 4: back into reality of just like you have all the
- 1:26:00Speaker 4: money in the world and you're still a fucking loser, because.
- 1:26:03Speaker 7: You know, that really is sad. That is a sad
- 1:26:06Speaker 7: life to live. I don't feel bad for him, but
- 1:26:09Speaker 7: that is sad.
- 1:26:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll never forget he got out of he used
- 1:26:12Speaker 4: to play this game.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 1:26:16Speaker 3: Yeah, like how you lied about being good video games and.
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: You're a billion This is what I'm saying.
- 1:26:22Speaker 4: You're almost a trillionaire, right, And these are the kids
- 1:26:25Speaker 4: that people used to make fun of in high school.
- 1:26:27Speaker 4: And you got the billionaires trying to be like like
- 1:26:30Speaker 4: the nerd the gamer nerds now like, and he's still
- 1:26:34Speaker 4: just and wherever you go, they just say, yo, you
- 1:26:36Speaker 4: fucking suck reaching.

- 1:26:43Speaker 3: a battle nobody. You can't find nobody to gang with, nobody.
- 1:26:50Speaker 4: Not even your kid.
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: And he got mad of.
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: Them, like you gotta pay women.
- 1:26:56Speaker 4: Kid, He's a serial baby father, that's why he Yeah.
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: He's just baby. This is a ring.
- 1:27:01Speaker 2: Yeah, like I think has ten he.
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: Got mad kids?
- 1:27:04Speaker 7: What they all got like loop as star check names
- 1:27:07Speaker 7: they're all named after like codes zeep, Zorp and Zipa.
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: One kid named Xeni.
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: What is this? What disability?
- 1:27:20Speaker 3: I don't know he has something, right, bitch ass niggaess
- 1:27:26Speaker 3: is that?
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: What is is that what they said.
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: It is.
- 1:27:32Speaker 4: So for Oh yeah, his mom did say that she
- 1:27:34Speaker 4: thought he had autism. I remember, but.
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: It's like everyone's.
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: Way cooler than that. We went to school one he
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: was cool and ship.
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I know a couple of and they'll never do.
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: Then we thought he was wearing his whole life.
- 1:27:48Speaker 3: And then we went to we went to uh went
- 1:27:51Speaker 3: to the beach for our senior Ditch weekend.
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: That a blot of forty Like that nigga was cool
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: as bro. I'm like, is that.
- 1:28:02Speaker 7: He did flipped the narrative in one day. That nigga
- 1:28:05Speaker 7: change everybody's mind.
- 1:28:11Speaker 3: I've never seen that before. He used to wear the
- 1:28:15Speaker 3: pants up here and I think on the on the
- 1:28:20Speaker 3: on the boardwalk and he got a blunt and a
- 1:28:22Speaker 3: forty in the hotel.
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: I was like, damn you with the hose. Shout out
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: to him, like, shout out to him.
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: He knows who he is. Shout out to him. Shout
- 1:28:30Speaker 2: out to him. Another question, Yeah, of.
- 1:28:32Speaker 5: Course, as black people, what are some things we need
- 1:28:35Speaker 5: to sorry as black people? What are some things we
- 1:28:38Speaker 5: need to do more of? Or some traditions that y'all
- 1:28:41Speaker 5: see dying that we need to.
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: Uphold Sunday dinner.
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: That's a good one I need.
- 1:28:48Speaker 3: Yeah, we don't, yeah get together enough two things Sunday
- 1:28:56Speaker 3: dinners and family reunions.
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: I was literally just thinking, I think myself is as family.
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: You know, they're trying to do a family union for
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: the July.
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: That's the time to do it like thatself.
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: I mean that sounds efficient.
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: That's very because you got a party or bruch that day.
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: No, even my family was like for the July, we're
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: trying to do other ship.
- 1:29:16Speaker 12: We're trying to like it's the same thing as a
- 1:29:20Speaker 12: barbecue in Floridaida were already trying to do I'm sorry,
- 1:29:26Speaker 12: we already and the figure can't.
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: We are We was already trying to do other ship.
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: And this ain't like my mom. So that's my dad's side. Okay,
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: even I don't even know them niggas.
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: Okay, see that's the problem.
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: That's that's that could be the.
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: Prob to get to know them niggas.
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: I mean, that's the point of my dad family.
- 1:29:41Speaker 7: But it's like my dad, it's like as far as
- 1:29:44Speaker 7: that goes, we were like, what the.
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: July, that's a fishing but this is a holiday. That's
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: why I went to my last family it.
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: Was we've only been to one family union ever.
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: Maybe that's crazy.
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: Bro, you're with thirty something thirty two thirty two family
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: unions going to.
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: Two. What do you think?
- 1:30:03Speaker 3: What do y'all think is the appropriate amount of time
- 1:30:06Speaker 3: between your family units? Because I think every five years
- 1:30:08Speaker 3: every year.
- 1:30:09Speaker 4: I was going to I feel like every year is
- 1:30:11Speaker 4: ship the way it's going. Every year it should be
- 1:30:14Speaker 4: something like something something you know.
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: So like.
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: Okay, so every year, like you should be like meeting
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: like your family, like I should be having barbecues, family dinners,
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: all that stuff. But I'm talking about like when you
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: bring like all the family shirts get made, yes T
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: shirts for me, it's families from out of states are
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: like one big grouping. I think that's probably happened every
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: five years. Three five, it's like every five years, like
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: like that's a good get to where it's just like okay,
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: like now like you're in a different part of your life,
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: like like every five years, like something's probably gonna change
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: every year. That's a lot. I think every five years
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: is good. Every yeah.
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: So all right, so real quick around the thing, what's
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: the last family.
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: When you went to fast last family union I went
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: to was at my parents' house, and like two thousand
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: maybe like eight or nine.
- 1:31:10Speaker 4: God damn, yeah, I was gonna say two thousand and.
- 1:31:13Speaker 5: Nine for me, Oh, I'm gonna say I want to
- 1:31:18Speaker 5: say it was like.
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: Twenty fifteen.
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: Okay, s bad was what was that one too?
- 1:31:26Speaker 2: I want to say that was that had to be like,
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: oh nine, somewhere like that where wait you.
- 1:31:32Speaker 4: Said oh nine, it was a long like like how
- 1:31:36Speaker 4: you said, like full blown people coming in from out
- 1:31:38Speaker 4: of states. Oh, matter of fact, mine wasn't that, you know,
- 1:31:41Speaker 4: I'll say matter of fact that the family reunion was
- 1:31:43Speaker 4: twenty twenty, right before the pandemic. Right before Yeah, because
- 1:31:47Speaker 4: my grandparents day celebrated their sixty four year anniversary and
- 1:31:51Speaker 4: everybody like came people I had to see for in forever,
- 1:31:54Speaker 4: like nobody missed that event.
- 1:31:56Speaker 3: So yeah, it could be something like that, like maybe
- 1:31:58Speaker 3: like an anniversary or the Yeah, I would say minds
- 1:32:02Speaker 3: was just like this year, just this year, just over
- 1:32:04Speaker 3: the summer.
- 1:32:04Speaker 2: But before that, when was it.
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: So much Virginia? It had to be maybe when I
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: was in college.
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: Okay, so so at least.
- 1:32:17Speaker 3: That's around twenty eleven twelve.
- 1:32:21Speaker 2: And the thing is like we're we're getting to that
- 1:32:23Speaker 2: age where we got to run our job.
- 1:32:26Speaker 4: To do it. That's I was just going to say that, but.
- 1:32:29Speaker 7: That's my issue though, like there ain't a lot of
- 1:32:31Speaker 7: there ain't a lot of I don't even know, like
- 1:32:33Speaker 7: a lot of family, Like I don't even.
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: That's the and that's and that's not our problem. That
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: is our problem.
- 1:32:37Speaker 3: But it's not our fault that when it's time to
- 1:32:40Speaker 3: organize these things, we don't even know where to start
- 1:32:42Speaker 3: because we don't Like I couldn't if I had to
- 1:32:44Speaker 3: start over paying you with my people from my dad's side,
- 1:32:47Speaker 3: wouldn't know where to start.
- 1:32:49Speaker 4: Bro.
- 1:32:49Speaker 7: I just met one of my cousins for the first time.
- 1:32:51Speaker 7: I went to Ohio wedding.
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: I don't even know you nigga's names for real, But
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: that's what the.
- 1:32:59Speaker 4: Union is for you. Yeah, Like it's the distance I'm saying.
- 1:33:02Speaker 3: But we're saying, like I don't even know how to
- 1:33:03Speaker 3: reach them. It's where, you know, we're at the age
- 1:33:04Speaker 3: where we got to put these things on.
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: How to put these things on? You don't even know.
- 1:33:09Speaker 4: This is how I handle it because I've been talking
- 1:33:11Speaker 4: about having a reunion this summer because We've had a
- 1:33:13Speaker 4: lot of depths in our family, and we're like, yo,
- 1:33:15Speaker 4: we can't just keep cheating each other at funerals. So
- 1:33:19Speaker 4: I've been trying to put together. I realized, you go
- 1:33:21Speaker 4: to the head of the houses, go to the head
- 1:33:24Speaker 4: of the houses, like I. For me, I'm gonna go
- 1:33:27Speaker 4: to my mom my mom, I'll go to her cousins,
- 1:33:29Speaker 4: and then I'll go from her cousins to their children
- 1:33:33Speaker 4: and like that. Like I I know my aunt Chade,
- 1:33:36Speaker 4: she's in fucking Florida. She might need a little bit
- 1:33:39Speaker 4: of more time to set the shit up. Let me
- 1:33:42Speaker 4: call her today, let me call her tomorrow. It's like,
- 1:33:44Speaker 4: you go to your aunt's, then you go to their kids,
- 1:33:48Speaker 4: your cousins, and then from your cousins you go to
- 1:33:50Speaker 4: their kids if they have any, and like that.
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: Good.
- 1:33:58Speaker 3: Yeah, but I was saying, like so in addition to
- 1:34:01Speaker 3: a much simpler vacuum, definitely the the family, but definitely
- 1:34:06Speaker 3: even more so with Sunday dinners.
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's easy.
- 1:34:09Speaker 3: I think that's something that can easily be achieved, especially
- 1:34:12Speaker 3: with your immediate close family.
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: Yeah. I like at least every week, at least every
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: other week getting together.
- 1:34:19Speaker 7: To uh my sister hasn't even become my house yet,
- 1:34:23Speaker 7: so she hasn't been I ain't been either.
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: We haven't been there.
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: You don't leave the house, you drop me off at
- 1:34:30Speaker 2: the house.
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: But it's just.
- 1:34:34Speaker 4: A house woman.
- 1:34:35Speaker 2: No, No, I didn't have it.
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:34:37Speaker 2: I feel like everybody was like when you're having a
- 1:34:41Speaker 2: house woman. I'm like, because like we were essentially like
- 1:34:44Speaker 2: already like consolidating our stuff together. So like she read
- 1:34:47Speaker 2: has some stuff, I have some stuff. So it's like now, granted,
- 1:34:50Speaker 2: housewarming shouldn't always be about like getting stuff. It should
- 1:34:53Speaker 2: just be like this next step in our lives, like
- 1:34:56Speaker 2: come celebrate this with me. But yeah, no, it was.

- 1:37:52Speaker 1: What's that? What it is?
- 1:37:54Speaker 4: It's Italian cake and it's like they dip a cookie
- 1:37:59Speaker 4: and like some kind of like espresso. It's a little
- 1:38:01Speaker 4: bit of coffee. But it's very light. It's very light.
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: I've seen it like I've been seeing it.
- 1:38:06Speaker 3: I don't know if you have seen them on TikTok
- 1:38:08Speaker 3: where they have like the people like I guess in
- 1:38:10Speaker 3: the kitchens they have like.

- 1:38:23Speaker 4: I love.
- 1:38:23Speaker 3: You're looking up on TikTok right now. If you type
- 1:38:27Speaker 3: it in like it's like like it's like a drawer
- 1:38:30Speaker 3: and it's like they'll be like possible like professionals look
- 1:38:34Speaker 3: right there about.
- 1:38:35Speaker 4: To piss me off? What is the point of having
- 1:38:39Speaker 4: at the color of the hand?
- 1:38:42Speaker 2: Oh, they made it inside the actual.
- 1:38:47Speaker 4: Like that.
- 1:38:47Speaker 3: That one is a little bit ghetto because I'm talking
- 1:38:49Speaker 3: about like professional actual like that don't need to happen though,
- 1:38:52Speaker 3: Like kids is like a restaurants where they have like
- 1:38:54Speaker 3: a drawer and it's like a cold drawer.
- 1:38:57Speaker 2: That's not like.
- 1:38:59Speaker 4: That.
- 1:38:59Speaker 2: Yeah, is that an audience?
- 1:39:01Speaker 4: And then you took all up?
- 1:39:02Speaker 2: Man, what what's going on? What? I don't know what's
- 1:39:05Speaker 2: going on. I'm telling you it's an audience that has fun.
- 1:39:09Speaker 4: It's an audience.
- 1:39:10Speaker 1: I don't know why there's an audience.
- 1:39:12Speaker 3: I don't know what type of ship they're getting down on,
- 1:39:15Speaker 3: but like they're and like, that's what I'm talking about
- 1:39:17Speaker 3: in the kitchen right now.
- 1:39:18Speaker 2: It's a drawer and the multiple drawers of tear massou.
- 1:39:21Speaker 3: Yeah, and then they're like they'll just be working and
- 1:39:23Speaker 3: they'll just take a spood to school.
- 1:39:24Speaker 2: So that's how they make it.
- 1:39:29Speaker 1: Made that way. It's just inside of the drawer, like
- 1:39:31Speaker 1: and look, they're just scooping it.
- 1:39:33Speaker 3: Look see, and then they'll just they'll scoop it, take
- 1:39:37Speaker 3: a bite, and they'll just keep cooking or whatever, like
- 1:39:40Speaker 3: they're sneaking.
- 1:39:41Speaker 1: Like I used to do.
- 1:39:44Speaker 3: A cracker bro with the business would have swore you
- 1:39:47Speaker 3: were lying, but yeah, but god, okay, drawer, But what's
- 1:39:53Speaker 3: the best cookie flavor?
