- 1:45said, let's get into our podcast and our interview today.
- 1:50My guest is a superstar at PPW Entertainment and a few other
- 1:54places, but PPW is where I work with them.
- 1:57Very, very talented, always goes out and, and, and I, I would say
- 2:02steals the show a lot of the time.
- 2:05Very, very working their way up the card, getting the fans
- 2:08behind them, even though they kind of play a dirt ball,
- 2:11scumbag, scary psychopath character.
- 2:16But we're going to get to know them outside of that scariness
- 2:19and and get you to know the side that I see backstage when we're
- 2:22causing shenanigans and being fun and just a general enjoy to
- 2:26be around. So let's bring in my guests.
- 2:27I'll let them introduce themselves and we'll get this
- 2:30podcast rolling. What's going on, bud?
- 2:32I'm. Matthew Yeager and I'm sad they
- 2:35didn't get invited to the beer portion of the podcast.
- 2:37Oh, we'll, we'll, we can definitely do that.
- 2:40Where? Maybe I should ask this on
- 2:41camera. Where where exactly are you
- 2:43based out of? Are you in Pennsylvania?
- 2:45Yeah, I'm in Harrisburg, PA. Oh, you're in Harris.
- 2:48Perfect. We can.
- 2:49There's tons of breweries and stuff in Harrisburg,
- 2:52Mechanicsville, so we can definitely do a beer podcast.
- 2:55So we'll meet up one of those breweries and.
- 2:57Record the beer. ABC.
- 2:59ABC Brewing. I go there sometimes.
- 3:01They have delicious food and good beer.
- 3:05My buddy, they do a drag show at 00 day.
- 3:10They do drag show brunches all the time there.
- 3:12They have some pretty good beer. That's a good time.
- 3:15Miss Misfit. We had them on the podcast.
- 3:17Go check them out. But they do stuff at that
- 3:19brewery. So I'm always down to go to
- 3:21Harrisburg and drink some beers. So that'll definitely happen in
- 3:24the future. I didn't know if that would be
- 3:25something you're into. I I seen you drink more Dellos
- 3:27and stuff but. I'm, I'm, I'm a very light beer
- 3:31kind of guy, you know, like I, I don't like anything very like
- 3:34IPA, like hoppy got you like most things that are like dark,
- 3:39but like, I'm good partial to like a pumpkin beer, like a
- 3:42Spanish beer. OK, so you're more like loggers
- 3:44and pillsters and stuff like that?
- 3:46Yeah. Got you.
- 3:47Got you. Yeah.
- 3:49Let's find something. Right up that alley.
- 3:50We'll figure something out. But yeah, so tell us about
- 3:53yourself, who you are, what you do.
- 3:55I'm. Matthew Yeager I play a very
- 4:00scary heel figures ABJ was saying at PPW and I just show
- 4:06off amazing feats of strength. And athleticism, I don't think
- 4:11people realize how athletic you are as well.
- 4:15I think they see the strengths and they see stuff like that.
- 4:17But like I, I watched you before a show with Malik and I think
- 4:22was it Sean Smith where you guys are almost like playing horse
- 4:26like in basketball. So basketball, you shoot a shot
- 4:28and you do a layup and then the other person tries to recreate
- 4:30it or simulate it. And you and Malik who is
- 4:33insanely and Rocket who are insanely like flexible, can do
- 4:38insane flips and backflips and springboards and everything and
- 4:41you were toe to toe, if not as good as them, and I was very
- 4:46surprised. Yeah, so the high fly horse
- 4:49concept, right, Like I've seen it be done in the ring, but I
- 4:53played it with Malik and then Christian came in a little bit
- 4:56later and we were just showing each other each other tricks.
- 4:59It's like growing up, I was not a very good person at any sports
- 5:04like involving like balls, like baseball, basketball, football,
- 5:07like I don't have hands like that.
- 5:09But I played sports and activities where it's more
- 5:14suited towards me. And so I was in gymnastics for
- 5:17eight years. I was martial arts, now a purple
- 5:21belt and presuming jiu jitsu. So I'm pretty athletic,
- 5:25flexible, but it's not really what is shown, you know, in the
- 5:30ring. Yeah, I mean, you kind of did
- 5:32that, like backflip off the top of the ladder, which I think
- 5:37shocked and scared and awed a lot of people there, which I
- 5:39think is one of the best independent ladder matches I've
- 5:42ever seen. It was unreal.
- 5:45I'm just waiting for them posting on YouTube so I can be
- 5:47like everyone go watch this please.
- 5:48Yeah, I, I will definitely be sharing it like crazy too.
- 5:50That's one of those matches where sometimes I'm still a
- 5:52little, I'm jealous that I'm not on commentary anymore PPW
- 5:56because I watch matches like that and I'm like, I wish I was
- 5:58on the call, but I'm enjoying the backstage thing.
- 6:01It's a different aspect for me. It's a different, it's, it's a
- 6:03new challenge. I still, I still think I'm
- 6:05trying to find myself, but I, I think I'm getting better at it
- 6:09because I'm still very fresh with all that stuff.
- 6:12But yeah, I, I, but matches like that.
- 6:14I I'm definitely jealous that I'm not on the call because it
- 6:17was unreal. Have you ever heard of Paul Bow
- 6:20on commentary? Yeah, he used he he just has
- 6:24like this just shock sound of his voice.
- 6:26Like when I took Sean for the ride on Moon saw on battery,
- 6:30Paul was like Oh my God. I love working.
- 6:34I think, no disrespect to anyone else who sits at the table, but
- 6:37myself, Paul and Kuiper E Julius were the that was a great team
- 6:43because we like I kind of brought a little bit of the the
- 6:46sometimes I'm heel, sometimes I'm not type energy color.
- 6:51EJ was like the play by play with Paul and then me and Paul
- 6:54just had like this banter of like Paul jokes.
- 6:58When I say Paul jokes, a lot of people, if you know Paul, you
- 7:00know the Paul jokes. And if you don't know Paul, you
- 7:02probably don't get the Paul jokes.
- 7:04But I would throw some of those in there and try to make Paul
- 7:07pop. And they were just, it was
- 7:08really fun times. I, I, I, I hope it gets to a
- 7:11point where maybe like every now and then they let me jump off
- 7:13backstage and just do one match. I think it'd be fun, but I'm not
- 7:16pushing my luck. I'm happy with what I'm doing
- 7:18now, but it's sometimes I miss it.
- 7:21Just a really fun, genuine dude. Like, I'd say like, yeah, he's
- 7:25like, he's just like my friend's dad, you know?
- 7:28That I I love I worked a lot of wrestling promotions, but I Paul
- 7:33is just a guy who's always done right by me he's real with me,
- 7:36he's honest with me. He's not going to bullshit you.
- 7:39If he doesn't need you. He won't.
- 7:40He'll say he won't need you. If he wants you, he'll say he
- 7:42wants you, which I respect. You know, I don't like when
- 7:45people kind of play the I'll tell you one thing, but do
- 7:48another type of situation. And Paul's always been upfront
- 7:50and honest. He's always been a good guy to
- 7:52me. He's given me a lot of
- 7:53opportunities. So I will I'll always be loyal
- 7:57to Paul Bo. But yeah.
- 7:59So the the character of Matthew Yeager is this.
- 8:02Is this a shoot name deal or where does the character and the
- 8:06inspiration of the character come from?
- 8:08So Matthew is actually my middle name, right?
- 8:12And when trying to come up with like a name, say, all right,
- 8:16Matthew, the other works and trying to come up with a last
- 8:19name, you know, thinking of something like can't, can't be a
- 8:22Smith, can't be, you know, like my real last name.
- 8:26Because I know like, kind of like trying to hide that from,
- 8:30you know, the Internet because of privacy, you know, separate,
- 8:34you know, the art and like who I am.
- 8:36But then I actually was really big in this game called Rainbow
- 8:406 Siege. Gotcha.
- 8:42Oh, Jaeger, Yeah. Yeah.
- 8:44And so I just swiped Jaeger from one of the characters in the
- 8:48game. And then what was Jaeger's
- 8:51ability? He had the anti grenade, like
- 8:54throwables. So you place the thing down,
- 8:57like try to throw a grenade in that room that zaps it out of
- 8:59the sky. Yeah.
- 9:00I remember. And then they reworked him like
- 9:023000 times so he's no longer good in the game.
- 9:05Nobody plays them. Yeah.
- 9:07That's a bummer. I thought you were going with
- 9:08like Jaeger bombs. I thought it was like a drink
- 9:10thing and I was like, this makes no sense of the character
- 9:14Jaeger. But then now that I'm.
- 9:16Yeah. I'm actually not a big fan of
- 9:18Jaeger Meister. I think it's gross.
- 9:21I've had a few Jaeger bonds of my time.
- 9:22Just like no I have licorice flavor.
- 9:24Yeah, I don't like black. Flavor I Remember Me, me and her
- 9:26were at a wedding, right? And at the end of the wedding,
- 9:29like people were setting off fireworks, nobody was looking
- 9:32and like we were about to go home.
- 9:34Like, quick, I'm going to go raid the liquor table.
- 9:38And so I was just grabbing full bottles of stuff.
- 9:40Like we have like, a handle of vodka and this big thing of
- 9:43Jaeger. And we just had them in a room
- 9:45and this kid went to the point where it's like, OK, I'm not
- 9:47even drinking this for my pleasure.
- 9:48I just want it to be done and out of my house.
- 9:50Like, yeah. They're cool bottles and a cool
- 9:53logo. It just it.
- 9:54I don't like the black licorice taste.
- 9:56So what what? What made you fall in love with
- 10:00the wrestling industry? Definitely, just from watching
- 10:04it while I was young. I remember John Cena, of course,
- 10:09being my hero as a little boy. And then I really fell out of
- 10:14wrestling as I grew older, like a lot of people, right?
- 10:19But I have this little cousin, his name's Eli.
- 10:23When, when we were kids, I would always watch it with his Big
- 10:26Brother. And so I'd be over at his house.
- 10:29We'd go over at aunt's house and he would say like, hey, do do
- 10:33you want to come play with me? I'm like, no, I'm watching
- 10:35wrestling. And it's like, if this guy wins,
- 10:38will you play with me? And so he took, he took the
- 10:40oddball gas because it was like Paul London versus Ceda.
- 10:43And I'm like, yeah, I'll take that bet.
- 10:46Paul London went over. I'm like, what?
- 10:48He's like, deal's the deal. And so he would never watch
- 10:51wrestling, right? But so I kept in contact with
- 10:54him over the years and we would just keep talking, keep playing
- 10:57video games. One night, it was like Friday
- 10:58night, I asked him like, hey man, do you want to play this
- 11:01game? He's like, no, I'm watching
- 11:03Smackdown right now and I'm like, you motherfucker.
- 11:07Paul, I got the interview. Paul London, he's awesome.
- 11:11Paulin's amazing dude. He's doing great stuff at AIW
- 11:13right now. This this, this wasn't a hate to
- 11:15Paul. One dude.
- 11:15It's like, you know, Yeah, yeah. No, he was midcard back in the
- 11:18day. Speak well this pulling back the
- 11:20curtain. I'm not exactly sure when this
- 11:21is going to air for the people. I think this is going to be a
- 11:23December episode. But as of yesterday, as of
- 11:26today, yesterday, John Cena's a Grand Slam champion in WWE.
- 11:31He won the Intercontinental Champion on a surprise
- 11:33appearance on a match that he wasn't supposed to be doing on
- 11:38his farewell tour against Dominic Mysterio.
- 11:40I I thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought it was a good move.
- 11:43I'm happy. For him, I also like the the
- 11:45dig, Kofi Kingston said on Twitter.
- 11:47He's like, he's like, welcome to the welcome to the club kid.
- 11:52Took you long enough. Yeah, I like I I was saying
- 11:55during my live stream, I said it's really nice for Dom to put
- 11:57over, you know, John Cena on his way out.
- 12:04So what time? Yeah, when I was when I was like
- 12:09he said like, I'm watching Smackdown and I'm like, how dare
- 12:12you, right. And so then it was now the story
- 12:14of him trying to get back into wrestling after like all these
- 12:18years. And I am just, no, I'm not doing
- 12:21it. I'm not watching it with you.
- 12:23And then like, he really wanted me to watch Double or Nothing
- 12:262020 when like they had it was like the first show back with
- 12:31people in the crowd and everyone just falling in love with with
- 12:36it again and like seeing like the energy and intensity what
- 12:39you're bringing. And I'm like, man, I remember
- 12:40the days where like, I really like watch this.
- 12:43And so still my top five favorite matches is Kenny Omega
- 12:47versus pack versus Orange Cassidy, which people may forget
- 12:50that match, but it is a solid match to me.
- 12:53I'm knowing stories. I'm like, Orange Cassidy, I want
- 12:56you to see this. Yeah, I want, I want you to win.
- 12:58So when Lily got, when I started dating Lily, she was like, So
- 13:03what are you into? I said pro wrestling.
- 13:04She goes, OK, I, she's like, I, I, I don't know a lot about it.
- 13:07I only know her some stuff here and there.
- 13:09She knew like the main names, but she didn't really know a
- 13:11lot. And I said to her, I said, I'm
- 13:13going to make you watch a match and I'm going to find out what
- 13:17type of wrestling fan you are. And that's the match I had her
- 13:20watch because I thought to myself, she's going to either
- 13:22like the athleticism of Kenny Omega in the babyface style,
- 13:25POC's a great athletic heel to watch, or she's going to be a
- 13:29gimmick lover with Orange Cassidy.
- 13:31She's an Orange Cassidy fan. That's her favorite wrestler now
- 13:34she got to meet him like 3 times.
- 13:36She's that's her favorite. How can you not be a fan of
- 13:39Orange Cassidy? He's the best.
- 13:41You know, if you'd sit here like always fucking kids.
- 13:43But like Orange Cassidy, he's just fun, fun to watch.
- 13:46Very, very fun. So what type of kid were you?
- 13:49Were you growing up? You said you weren't really into
- 13:51the the sports and stuff. So where, where did you really
- 13:53fall when it came to like growing up or type of interest
- 13:56and stuff, stuff like that? I was very quiet, very reserved.
- 14:00That's like a child, you know, and then like had to grow into a
- 14:04personality as time went on. But I think I did all kinds of
- 14:09things goes, you know, part of part of like the the emo, you
- 14:14know, like not popular kids. And then I was a big bully in
- 14:18high school. I'm I'm sorry everyone had to
- 14:20deal with that. And then, yeah, I was just
- 14:23really trying to find my way and I don't think I've found like
- 14:26who I was until like probably last year.
- 14:29So I think, I think I'm still, I'm still a kid and growing,
- 14:33yeah. Absolutely, absolutely.
- 14:35Yeah. And it's it.
- 14:36I'm. Listen, dude, I'm I'll be 40
- 14:38soon or not 4039 soon. I'm still figuring shit out.
- 14:41You're not. You don't figure it out ever.
- 14:42You just, you just figure out that day and you keep moving.
- 14:45You know what I mean? When when adults like you grow
- 14:48up and you think, man, our, our parents have it all figured out.
- 14:51They know it. No, they don't.
- 14:52They're fucking waning. Fuck they, don't they.
- 14:54Have. And especially in today's
- 14:55climate with bills and economy and money and the way our
- 14:59government is, no one knows the fuck they're we're, we're just,
- 15:02we're holding on and hoping for God, you know what I mean?
- 15:06Like that's essentially what's happening here.
- 15:09You'll never find it. If that gives you a little
- 15:10solace or maybe depression, I don't know, but just enjoy.
- 15:14It it gives me solace, it gives. Me solace, enjoy it like 'cause
- 15:17just have fun with it. Make art, enjoy your hobbies.
- 15:20It's good to go have a nine to five, pay your bills, but have
- 15:23those things on the side that make you that, that give you
- 15:27that, you know, itch or scratch that itch.
- 15:29So you're just not a drone of a human being, you know.
- 15:34When did you start to pursue the industry of pro wrestling and
- 15:36how did you get started? So after that, after that, dealt
- 15:41with nothing. Like I remember like, Oh yeah,
- 15:43as a kid, I really wanted to be a wrestler.
- 15:46And so I looked up wrestling schools in my area and saw ICWA,
- 15:51which is all the way in Pittsburgh.
- 15:53So I lived in Erie at the time. So on the Pennsylvania map for
- 15:56people at home, right, here's where we are in Harrisburg,
- 16:00Here's Pittsburgh, here's Erie. And that's like about two hours
- 16:03away there. And so I found that school and I
- 16:07and I applied online and I'm like, Hey, I want to try this
- 16:11wrestling trading thing out and I got nothing back.
- 16:16I'm like, man, it's probably lost cause.
- 16:19Well, applied in other schools. But I remember like I used to
- 16:21look at my spam folder a lot because there, you know, there's
- 16:23a scam emails about like thick enlargement pills and then like,
- 16:26you know, the African Prince and I just like, I like reading.
- 16:29Those are a good laugh. But then I saw a message from
- 16:32Chris Luisso, the head trader there.
- 16:35And he's like, Hey, I have a spot in on Tuesday.
- 16:40I look at the calendar. Tuesday is tomorrow.
- 16:44So I, I, I got to make a decision very quickly.
- 16:48And so I, I called my boss and tell him like, hey man.
- 16:53And then like, I have to borrow my grandma's car to get down to
- 16:57Pittsburgh to go do this try out.
- 17:00And then when I got there, you know, there's the kind of shape
- 17:07that you have to be in to be in the ring.
- 17:10I was not that like I was AI was a gym bro from high school, you
- 17:14know, like wannabe bodybuilders like, oh, I don't believe in
- 17:17training legs or doing cardio. So they got me in there and the
- 17:22first thing they had me do was do 100 push ups, 100 squats and
- 17:25100 sit ups. And I am having a miserable
- 17:28time. It's my heart system.
- 17:31And then he had me take my first bump in a ring and you're
- 17:35supposed to breathe out when you take a bump.
- 17:37I did not. I just slapped the rings like
- 17:42and then and they had me do like literally like 3 minutes of
- 17:46cardio by like something called grape squishers where like you
- 17:49hang on to the turnbuckle and then you have to do high knees
- 17:52until he said stop. And so now after that I'm
- 17:56outside by the dumpster about a kilo for puking, right?
- 18:01And he was like, Yep, as long as you don't puke in the ring,
- 18:05you're good. Like no heat with anybody.
- 18:07Just don't puke in the ring. And he said, it's like, you
- 18:10know, this is not a regular path for a young man.
- 18:16Like this is going to take a lot of time, a lot of energy, a lot
- 18:19of money from you and you might not get anything out of it.
- 18:23So I, I just want you to think about that and then like, don't
- 18:28answer me right now. I want you to go home and text
- 18:30me tomorrow if you're in, right. And so I get in my car and my
- 18:36immediate thought is I meant like, that's just this is it.
- 18:39Let's do it. And so then I eventually moved
- 18:44out of Pittsburgh. I was trading there and had my
- 18:47debut match March 2020 third. Awesome, how many people in your
- 18:51starting class are still wrestling and have made it till
- 18:55as far as you are right now? So there was originally 13
- 18:59people in our starting class. There was six who graduated.
- 19:05Wow. And out of the people still
- 19:08doing it, it is me and two other guys.
- 19:13Would I know them? Felix Koz and Drew Ryan's.
- 19:18I'm not sure now Pittsburgh wasn't that.
- 19:22I don't know if it's the same promotion.
- 19:23I I'm not very good with Pittsburgh.
- 19:25I know there's rise seven O 7 a few other things that but like
- 19:29Facade's it was a Pittsburgh guy, right?
- 19:31Yeah, Facade trained at IWC, I'm pretty sure.
- 19:34Yeah. And then but Lady Frost was a
- 19:37pit was and that Victor Benjamin were Pittsburgh the they changed
- 19:41it rise the runway is Pittsburgh.
- 19:46Jason Hendricks was Pittsburgh for a little bit, I believe.
- 19:49Yeah, Jason Hendricks has. No, I probably, I probably
- 19:53should have docked him real quick and be like, hey, he lives
- 19:55here. Yeah, but no, he, he was, he
- 19:58trained. He his training was rise though,
- 20:00even though he wasn't from that area.
- 20:01Yeah, yeah. Now he's doing stuff with like
- 20:04N.W.A and then last time I talked to him he was he was
- 20:07doing stuff at EC3, which is super dope.
- 20:10Yeah, up, up in the Cleveland training at the EXO school and
- 20:13stuff. Yeah, a lot of people are going
- 20:14up to Cleveland. That's where Ace is up there.
- 20:17What is it? Revolvers up in Cleveland,
- 20:18right? I think.
- 20:20I think revolvers in Dayton mainly.
- 20:23Yeah, but yeah, awesome. So how are the beginning stages
- 20:28of finding yourself and finding your place in wrestling and even
- 20:31just the character aspect? So it was all, it was all kinds
- 20:37of messy really. And so like being from the small
- 20:42town, right, It's like you don't really get the niceties of, you
- 20:48know, having people test you or like, you know, showing that
- 20:51kind of respect. So I'd had like a whole lot of
- 20:54growing up do in the wrestling. And like, I didn't realize that
- 20:58they also wanted you to be in a specific part.
- 21:01Like I've been a babyface my entire career and up until that
- 21:05heel turn to PPW. Oh, wow.
- 21:07So like, I, I want, I wanted to be a heel because I thought it'd
- 21:10be better suited for. But they're like, Nah, Nah,
- 21:12you're young and handsome. No one's going to Boo you.
- 21:15But yeah, so I was babyface. I was big high flying guy.
- 21:19And like the character just never works because I don't
- 21:24think that I'm just that bright, dapper, happy, cheery, like at
- 21:29that point in my life. And so it's like, yeah, you have
- 21:33a a good wrestler in the ring, but ask him to cut a promo and
- 21:37he's just lost for his life. But then the reason like it's
- 21:44been really refreshing, like coming in as a heel at PPW,
- 21:48because I'd say it's like more in line to who I am, you know,
- 21:55be as a parent. Are you doing more heel stuff
- 21:57now everywhere or is it that just just a PPW thing?
- 22:00Yeah, it was, it was healed pretty much everywhere that that
- 22:03I'm going now, except Battlefield Pro on a Bay face up
- 22:06there. But it feels more genuine, you
- 22:08know, it's like it's there's a lot of crossover between the
- 22:11fans, PPW and BPW. And so them getting to see me
- 22:14smile, they're like, that was the first time you've ever
- 22:16smiled in the ring. Yeah, well, BPW and PPW have
- 22:22that crossover because of distance from where they are.
- 22:25And PPW used to run that building.
- 22:27So a lot of those fans who are BPW fans essentially are in BPW
- 22:31because PPW was the promotion that building before them.
- 22:34So that's why there's that big crossover.
- 22:38You know what I meant? Well, the only thing I missed
- 22:40about that building is I wish I I had the role I have now as
- 22:45backstage interviewer at now that where it is because the
- 22:49yoga room was air conditioned and I never got to experience
- 22:53that. So while ever I while I was
- 22:55sweating and dying are freezing in the arena, BP was backstage
- 23:01nice and toasty or nice and cool and I was like now I wish I had
- 23:05that. Oh.
- 23:06Yeah. Yeah.
- 23:08So what are some setbacks or over adversities you had to
- 23:11overcome, whether it's professional wrestling or just
- 23:13life in general? Definitely my mental health has
- 23:17been, you know, adverse because basically all stems from like
- 23:22losing my mom at a very young age and then like just never
- 23:27coping with that. So I always went down like a
- 23:31very dark direction of like, thought and yeah, like, I never
- 23:39had like, any confidence in myself because I would always,
- 23:43like, I never had to deal with anybody trying to bully me
- 23:46because, you know, I was one of the biggest kids in school.
- 23:49Like, what are you going to do, knock a goddamn block off?
- 23:52But. Yeah.
- 23:53What? How old were you when she passed
- 23:54away? I was 11 when she passed.
- 23:58Wow. So yeah, that just went like
- 24:02years of just like untreated, you know, like, no, no therapy
- 24:06not not even like talking about it with anyone.
- 24:09Because just grit your teeth and keep moving forward.
- 24:12Yeah, but it all it all, it all catches back up to me.
- 24:15And now it's just the like, I'm, I'm, I'm still depressed.
- 24:21Like now, you know, because like around this time of year, it
- 24:27just, it just feels like it sucks.
- 24:29Yeah. And I used to like have the
- 24:32impression of of thought where it's like, oh, like, what do I
- 24:36have complained about? It's like, I have a lot to
- 24:37complain about, you know, like life is pretty fucked up.
- 24:41But I tried my best, you know, in a way.
- 24:44I see it's like you, if all you can give is your best then like
- 24:49can't. Can't mad about that at the end
- 24:50of the day. Yeah, You have nothing to hang
- 24:51your head on if you if you've tried, are you still close with
- 24:55your family or was that like a situation where when you lost
- 24:58her, it kind of broke up a lot of things?
- 25:01I, I feel like definitely made it distant with family.
- 25:07It's like I have people who I'm close to like my like my
- 25:11grandma, my step grandma and like my cousin, stuff like that.
- 25:14But like I've never felt the solace in family because
- 25:22everyone is very like of an old school mindset.
- 25:26They don't, they don't get that, you know, depression when you
- 25:29try to explain it to him, it's like, you know, a major like be
- 25:33a man kind of. That male toxicity, yeah, male
- 25:37kicks in, definitely kicks in. A lot of people don't realize
- 25:40it. I'm I'm like I said, I'm 39,
- 25:42bro. I'm still working through it.
- 25:44Like I I watch a movie and I'm like, I should I be crying?
- 25:46I should be crying right now, right?
- 25:48And I'm just like, I wish I could cry.
- 25:50I just I struggle. I struggle with it.
- 25:53I. Don't know I I cried like a bit
- 25:54like we watched Train to Busan 2 last night.
- 25:58Peninsula. Yeah, I.
- 26:00Haven't seen that at the end we're both crying like it's.
- 26:03Coco almost made me cry. I watched Coco the other not so
- 26:06long ago that almost. Got Coco?
- 26:08Yeah, Coco I. Remember crying to Coco.
- 26:11But like, part of, you know, my, my journey mental health was
- 26:14giving me a lot of like, hope is me posting about it and hearing
- 26:21people say, like, how much it affects them and how much, you
- 26:24know, like, I just want people to not feel like they're alone.
- 26:29You know what, man, I, I respect the fuck out of that because
- 26:32when I was going through my, my divorce and trying to figure
- 26:35myself out and I got to step away from wrestling for a while,
- 26:38man, I posted online and I post it all out there and I got the
- 26:43exact, I had a handful of people who were like, man, I, I, I
- 26:46appreciate you posting this and being all open and honest.
- 26:49And then I had, I had more than I had more negative than
- 26:52positive. So I didn't know that negative
- 26:54was happening. I had so many people who were
- 26:56reading my post and talking about me and saying negative in
- 27:00within the wrestling space who are like, oh, you're this and
- 27:02that you're posting, you're a crybaby, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 27:04And I was like, I'm struggling. Like I wish somebody would have
- 27:07reached out and been like, Anna, you're good or just like, hey,
- 27:09are you like have a conversation?
- 27:11And, and I had a lot of people who have and I'm really
- 27:13appreciative of those people. But like, yeah, I, I think when
- 27:15more people see that, they should be more like, hey, man,
- 27:19let's talk about it. Are you all right?
- 27:20Want to talk about, you know what I mean?
- 27:21Like same, like I told you the other day at PPW, man, if you're
- 27:24ever struggling, please reach out.
- 27:25Like I'm telling you right now, as long as I am working in the
- 27:29same place as you're working, you're not allowed to leave.
- 27:32You're not, you're you're too invested.
- 27:34You have too much going on and you're too talented.
- 27:36I I won't let you quit. I will drive to where I will
- 27:39drive to Harrisburg and get you and drive you to the show.
- 27:41Like you're not allowed to be done.
- 27:43I appreciate that, but yeah, there's a like, I'm, I'm, I'm I
- 27:49was like awestruck. I like the amount of toxicity
- 27:53there is, like even wrestling because I thought, you know,
- 27:57like everybody like respects, you know what everyone's going
- 28:00through because some people just they don't want to project out
- 28:03that they're human, whether it's for like, you know, a gimmick
- 28:07perspective or they still have like that toxic, like I'll be a
- 28:10man thing. It's like I remember seeing this
- 28:11post where this, this, this this guy who by the way, he's, he's
- 28:17the first person I've ever seen in my life who like posted a
- 28:19fitness transition and worked looked worse than the second
- 28:21one. But I, I don't want a name drop
- 28:28on all calls that drama. But but he but he, he, he said
- 28:33like, yeah, I put in the work and like I don't post my
- 28:37feelings for validation. And it's like, OK, then, then
- 28:42you're subhuman. You just don't feel emotions.
- 28:44Like, oh, you're so much cooler than all of us.
- 28:46Good for you, brother. Oh boy, you, you, you, you.
- 28:49You keep them in instead of talking about them.
- 28:51You know, like an like an adult. What are you, a child?
- 28:54You know what, what happens a lot in the wrestling industry,
- 28:56too, is somebody will post like, man, I'm going through it and
- 28:59the first thing that someone thinks about is, well, he won't
- 29:01be on the card this week and I could take a spot and it's like,
- 29:04fuck you. It's it's like when, when Sean
- 29:08got hurt, you know, it's like the first thing I did was reach
- 29:10out to him. Yeah.
- 29:12Like I. Tried, I knew he wasn't going to
- 29:14answer at that point in time, but I I definitely something of
- 29:17a thing of what's going on. And then the second thought was,
- 29:19well, let's get it. We have to get a match together.
- 29:21We have to go tell the promoter he's not showing up because
- 29:23we're waiting for him. It's like I'm I've put in the
- 29:27main event, like I'm thankful for that, but it's like I just,
- 29:30I just want to hear that Sean is OK, you know, like I'm not, I'm
- 29:33not a person who's hunting for a spot.
- 29:35It's like I I could politic more to get more out of this, but
- 29:38that's not who I am. Like I am a a a person first.
- 29:42Sean, Sean is, I get is doing better.
- 29:45He's going to be a little bit of a road to recovery.
- 29:46But our thoughts and our thoughts are with you, brother.
- 29:50God bless you. Now, wasn't there in, in this
- 29:52story you don't want to talk about or anything like that.
- 29:54I don't know the whole context, but somebody was telling me
- 29:56about it. When you first got into PPW is
- 29:58when you were doing the, the, the the paint gimmick.
- 30:02There was something about like a real life thing that happened to
- 30:04you that you used within the your your character.
- 30:08Oh yeah, I died. Yes, that's what it like.
- 30:11Yeah. What happened?
- 30:12You want to talk about that, or is that something that's too
- 30:14personal? Yeah, of course.
- 30:15Yeah, we'll talk. But when I what when I was
- 30:19young, right, we had this little swimming spot called the Gorge,
- 30:22which is by the Six Mile Creek in Erie.
- 30:25And they have this little jumping Cliff where, like, you
- 30:27can jump off into a pool of water, you know, and like, I
- 30:32should probably, like, tell a story like, oh, yeah, it was 40
- 30:34feet 50. It was like, it was like 10
- 30:36feet, you know, It wasn't. 650 feet in the air.
- 30:40Man, I was 1900 feet in the air looking at the face of death and
- 30:44spitting in it, you know? Yeah.
- 30:45Just like I want to fuck this up.
- 30:47When I went on a day where like the water was really cold and
- 30:51when I ran and jump in I just went into shock in the water
- 30:53drought. Oh shit.
- 30:56Yeah. Like you went so deep and then
- 31:00like, did you even resurface or you just sunk?
- 31:04No, so like the, the pit of water is only like probably like
- 31:065-6 feet. Like it's like a commercial
- 31:08swimming pool. You know what you jump in.
- 31:10But the water was cold and like me being warm, like you always
- 31:14got to look out for that, like go into shock for like cold
- 31:17water. But for me, it was like so
- 31:18immediate that like nobody really knew what to do because
- 31:22it's like, oh, he, he's not coming up.
- 31:25When I did come up, I was like, you know, corpsing in the water.
- 31:28And it's like, OK, yeah, this is the problem.
- 31:30And then I mean, they're obviously probably nervous about
- 31:32jumping in because that I think they just watched a documentary
- 31:35of about a water park in New Jersey, like it was called
- 31:39Action Park where they had a, they had a slide like that where
- 31:43people would jump in and it was a natural spring and people
- 31:46would go into shock and drowned quite frequently at this, at
- 31:50this spot in the park. Yeah.
- 31:53And so it. Happened to me and like I was
- 31:57thankful you resuscitated so now I'm here.
- 32:01How long were you out? 11 minutes. 11 minutes.
- 32:07Do you have any memory or recollection of it at all?
- 32:10No, I, I, I remember, I, I didn't remember for a portion of
- 32:15time hitting the water. I don't remember it now because,
- 32:17you know, with age I start losing memories.
- 32:19Gets a little foggy up here. I remember.
- 32:21I remember just waking up in the hospital being like, oh, this is
- 32:24different, Yeah. Interesting.
- 32:26I watched this whole thing on Netflix too, where people had
- 32:28like near death experiences or death experiences and then like
- 32:32had this whole thing where they seen their they, they were
- 32:35outside their own body and like you didn't have anything cool
- 32:37like that. You just woke up in the
- 32:39hospital. Oh, I saw nothing.
- 32:41That sucks. It's it's it's a little.
- 32:42Lame. You know, like, like like as a
- 32:44holy man, like what's a like? I have to let's.
- 32:47Just retell a story and then make something up, you know?
- 32:51But you know, I I didn't see nothing like I didn't see Jesus
- 32:54hitting the worm right like he's doing.
- 32:57The Rikishi dance. Yeah.
- 33:00That's what happens when you get to the gates.
- 33:02The gates open and then Jesus stands there with his apostles
- 33:06and they throw the glasses on and they go.
- 33:13All your family joins in. That's right.
- 33:16It's like you remember the movie this at the end.
- 33:18Yeah, where Backstreet Boys starts playing everybody, Yeah.
- 33:22There's there's welcome to Welcome to Heath.
- 33:24Oh, fuck us. Is that we?
- 33:26Yeah, Snappy fangus. I love that.
- 33:30I actually just watched that the other night.
- 33:32Great fucking movie. So what are some key moments or
- 33:36accomplishments that you've had accomplished in your life or in
- 33:39your career at this point? Well, I'm, I'm, I'm on the
- 33:46avenue to graduate college, so I feel like that would be great
- 33:49accomplishment. What are you majoring in?
- 33:53Plumbing. I'm oh, I did that.
- 33:55Fucking. Sex.
- 33:57Currently I'm, I'm a postman, right?
- 33:59And I'm, I'm making all right money, but not fuck you money.
- 34:02I want to. I want the fuck you money.
- 34:04Yeah. But fuck you money and plumbing
- 34:05means you're like going in septic tanks.
- 34:07I'm. Not kidding.
- 34:09You got to do what you got to do, Fuck.
- 34:11That I quit immediately. I got out of there.
- 34:13I, I went to school for plumbing and I did it for like a year or
- 34:15two years and I was like, I'm out.
- 34:17But like plumbing in my area pays nothing.
- 34:21Like technicians were getting paid like $11.00 an hour and I
- 34:23was like, fuck this. I'm not cleaning shit up for 11
- 34:26bucks an hour. I I, I definitely think I could
- 34:31100%. Oh, I don't have the stomach for
- 34:34a brother. Like if I had to do new
- 34:35construction, no problem. But when you walk into a a, a a
- 34:39college and your your job is a retrofit the bathroom and you're
- 34:43pulling like I'm going to throw up even talking about it and
- 34:45you're pulling fucking 35 year old urinals out of a college
- 34:49bathroom. Bro, you can clean them all you
- 34:53want. They're they have been pissed in
- 34:55for. So there's, there's piss in
- 34:57there from the 1970s still. You know what I mean?
- 34:59Like it's, it's disgusting. But you know, I come home, scrub
- 35:06myself down some lava soap, and I think it'll be fine.
- 35:08Another accomplishment is about this one.
- 35:11I'm quite partial this one. Yeah, she's pretty dope.
- 35:14I'm so happy she debuted. I can't wait to watch her match.
- 35:17He's. Chasing me right now.
- 35:22The the Scene Queen is coming to PPW.
- 35:25The scene Queen, The PPW. I'll hail the scene, Queen.
- 35:31You'll, you'll, you'll have your own episode soon, right?
- 35:33Yes, absolutely. We already talked well.
- 35:35We did A, we did A5 questions at PPW.
- 35:37Yeah, I I didn't get the five questions.
- 35:39I thought I did one with you. Yeah, I know.
- 35:41You never did me the five questions.
- 35:43We were, oh, as we were supposed to, but you never came back for
- 35:45it. Oh.
- 35:46Well, next, next show, we'll do 5 questions.
- 35:48Next show I'll do the five. She beat you.
- 35:50We. Did the weed one we did a
- 35:52blazing buds. 5 questions. Very, very, very big old weed
- 35:58Ancia on your marijuana. Your marijuana.
- 36:04Devils our devils lebes your. Reefer cigarettes.
- 36:10Furthermore, Susan, I want to be at least a bit surprised to find
- 36:12out all of them smoke marijuana cigarettes.
- 36:15Reefers so accomplishments within wrestling have you have
- 36:18you obtained any titles yet? I've had one run with the I was
- 36:25debuting champion at Erie All Stars for the light heavyweight
- 36:27title. I think I had one defense of
- 36:30that. And then me and my boy Aiden
- 36:33Hall were two time, two time tag team champions at Erie All
- 36:38Stars. And we had I think a combined
- 36:40total of 400 days raining with those.
- 36:43And that was that was some of the best times in wrestling
- 36:46because we had these really good vets who were looking after us
- 36:49and we just had fun every time. We also won a title in a the
- 36:55location that will remain anonymous because we signed an
- 36:58NDA for their TV deal, but they've just never posted the
- 37:02matches. So we just still have the titles
- 37:04like, oh really? I think I think mine's in the
- 37:06corner of the office. Like we've been like champions
- 37:09for like 600 days now. Sick what?
- 37:14If you were if. You were to become tag team
- 37:17champions with somebody at PPW. Who would you want your partner
- 37:20to be? Precious 100%.
- 37:22Precious you and Precious. Yeah.
- 37:25So like there there's very like there's a couple people at PPW
- 37:29who become like lifelong friends of mine, like Dan Stofko,
- 37:32Precious, like those two, like Ralph Bell, like they're just
- 37:35like really great dudes. I visit Precious at work like
- 37:39like weekly. Really.
- 37:41Because he's, he's, yeah, he's such a great guy.
- 37:44And you know. You know, like Precious is like,
- 37:47I would say, I would say shoot, but it's not biological.
- 37:50But he's like my little brother, like I've known him since he's
- 37:54like 12 or 13. You even coming to shows that
- 37:59often or you just be hanging out playgrounds a lot?
- 38:01No, so I so I my me and my buddy, he was in a band and
- 38:06every Thursday I worked a job that was Monday through Thursday
- 38:09and I would leave the job on Thursday.
- 38:11I'd pack a bag, tell my at the time wife, see you later.
- 38:14I'm gone for the weekend. And I would go and hang out with
- 38:16a band all weekend and I would help roadie them and get them in
- 38:20the gigs and stuff. But we would get smashed on
- 38:24Thursday night, wake up Friday morning, walk to this deli and
- 38:28get sandwiches and iced teas and then walk back and watch pro
- 38:32wrestling. And the one day where we did it
- 38:34for like a month or a couple weeks and the owner of the deli
- 38:37was like, you guys are here every Friday, Like what do you
- 38:40do? So we used to go to the thrift
- 38:42store and find the ugliest clothing we can find, buy it and
- 38:46then wear it and then walk to the deli and then wear that
- 38:50clothing the entire weekend, right?
- 38:52Like old suit jackets and shit. And we're like, oh, we're going
- 38:56to go back and watch pro wrestling.
- 38:57And he's like pro wrestling. I'm like, yeah, he's I fucking
- 39:00love pro wrestling. And we chatted for four hours in
- 39:04this deli about pro to the point where the wife kicked us out.
- 39:07Shit, guys, we have shit to do. You got to get the fuck out.
- 39:09Because if you don't keep talking wrestling with him,
- 39:11we're not going to get anything done.
- 39:13And he was like, hey, guys, this weekend, please come to my
- 39:16house. We're going to watch the
- 39:17pay-per-view. So I went, I, Steve had a gig or
- 39:21something. I didn't go with him to the gig.
- 39:22And I went to this guy's house who owned this deli and watch
- 39:25wrestling. He had his son.
- 39:27His son was a little precious. So I I essentially became
- 39:31friends with precious dad and we would watch wrestling every
- 39:35fucking like we would guys see him every Friday, would talk
- 39:38wrestling, then watch every pay-per-view together.
- 39:40So I've been watching like, and then I got into the business and
- 39:43then precious met some other people and then he end up
- 39:45working in the same place I worked and he started training
- 39:47there and then. So we were friends before
- 39:50wrestling and then on two different paths we end up
- 39:54finding each other back in pro wrestling.
- 39:56So like I've yeah, I've known him pre the business.
- 39:59That's so fucking cool. Yeah, that's like my little
- 40:01that's my dude right there. Love him.
- 40:04But other compliments, like when I wrestled at GCW one time, that
- 40:09was like one of my three main goal places that I've always
- 40:11wanted to go. Yeah.
- 40:13I recently got flown out to Chicago for a show.
- 40:16Then like, they paid. They paid for a flight, hotel,
- 40:18everything. It was really, really good deal.
- 40:21And so that made me feel like, oh, I'm a wrestler.
- 40:24Yeah, that's right. Yeah, that's awesome.
- 40:28That's all. Yeah, I you know who I think
- 40:30would you be a fun tag team with you if he ever loses his
- 40:33partner? You and Brother Bedlam I think
- 40:35would be interesting. No, that'd be just a very
- 40:39violent team. Yeah, I like he's another one in
- 40:41the at PPW like I you obviously precious a lot of so there's
- 40:45just a lot of people. I've I've been part a lot.
- 40:47Not a lot of people realize this, but I've been part of like
- 40:50the PPW team for like seven years or five, 6 plus years.
- 40:55Like I've been there. I've been there since like 3
- 40:57venue changes ago. Like I've been there for a
- 40:59minute and like people come in and they're like like when I
- 41:02took like a couple like a year off for the divorce and I came
- 41:05back, people like who's the new guy?
- 41:06And I was like definitely not the new guy here.
- 41:09I. Am not the new guy, you are the
- 41:11new guy. Hate to break it to you bud.
- 41:14They'd be like, hey, listen, when the boys are talking, you
- 41:17probably shouldn't talk to the boys about.
- 41:19I'm like, what? No, I'm going to be like, yo,
- 41:22man, that idea sucks. Like, because that's the
- 41:24relationship I have with a lot of people in that locker room
- 41:26and they respect that. I'm willing to say that to them
- 41:29and like, be part of that creative process.
- 41:32Yeah, I, I love it. PPW such a great place.
- 41:34But I've met so many, so many cool people there.
- 41:36It's just a, it's a good environment.
- 41:38Every month I look forward to going and seeing everybody.
- 41:42What are Who are some influences or role models in your career or
- 41:47in your life? Hey, hey, man.
- 41:49Adam Paige. OK.
- 41:51I, I really like Hangman. That's, that's my, that's my
- 41:55favorite wrestler currently. Definitely Roderick Strong is a
- 41:59huge inspiration to like my style And so like what, what,
- 42:04what I remember like posting on Facebook like, oh, what, what
- 42:07wrestler do I like remind you of the most?
- 42:10And none of them said Roderick Strong.
- 42:11I'm like OK, I need to try harder to be this.
- 42:13Person a lot of you was like Chris Benoit for you, which I
- 42:15think is good for the character, but also I mean he was a great
- 42:21press like minus the. Terrible shit minus, you know,
- 42:25kill your wife and child. He was, he was one of the top
- 42:28five ever of like just wrestling because pure intensity.
- 42:33Are you a Are you a Kyle O'Reilly fan?
- 42:35Yeah, big. I love Kyle.
- 42:36Like all all those guys of undisputed era really big, but
- 42:41people like help me on most of my career, like my my the head
- 42:43trainer Zach Nystrom, like he he's most underrated wrestler I
- 42:49I think ever, because every time I see him, like it's been just
- 42:53perfect. Like his performance, everything
- 42:56he is like he he he's probably in my top five indie wrestlers.
- 43:01Then also like Facade, I used to ride with him and Danny Mill a
- 43:05lot like those guys. I'm so happy to see him this
- 43:08weekend. Yeah, I was really happy because
- 43:11I haven't seen him in in months since I moved out east.
- 43:15Yeah, actually Speaking of not being able to cry, I almost got
- 43:21emotional to the point where I had to like, control myself and
- 43:24like get it together when Facade won the title for the first time
- 43:27in Broadheadsville for PPW. Hell yeah.
- 43:30I had to be like, fucking get it because he was supposed to win
- 43:33it. And then we the coke and COVID
- 43:35happened and then we weren't sure where we're going to run.
- 43:37And then we found Broadheadsville and then he like
- 43:39he finally carried that story over.
- 43:42So like it was cool because when he returned this week with this
- 43:45month and he ran the ropes and drop kicked the guy out of the
- 43:48off the apron to win the match. That's how he won at PPW's like
- 43:52base, home base location in the church.
- 43:55And then he wasn't able to cash in and win the title because
- 43:58COVID happened. So then he had to wait almost
- 44:00like an entire two years to finally get his title.
- 44:03But like, he wanted the same way he came back last month, which
- 44:07was really dope. Hell yeah, are you going to you
- 44:10going to cry when I finally win it?
- 44:12I will, I'll be, I, I also, I was there when Precious won his
- 44:15first title and I was not there when Precious won his world
- 44:18title, unfortunately. But I was there when he won his
- 44:20first spotlight championship. And I got off commentary and I
- 44:25said, BP, you're going to have to hold this down.
- 44:27I'll be right back. And I walked down because
- 44:29Precious's dad and his mom were in the crowd at, at the
- 44:32sanctuary. And I got off commentary and I
- 44:34went down and I hugged his dad and his mom and we, it was, it
- 44:37was very emotional. I didn't.
- 44:38I don't think I cried, but I was very, very close.
- 44:42That was that meant awesome. I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll get you
- 44:44to break, OK. I probably will.
- 44:47It's gonna be beautiful. I I right Right now I've
- 44:49competed for every title at PPW one time.
- 44:53Besides, you're the Grand Slam competitor.
- 44:56Title. Yeah, yeah, I'm the I'm the
- 44:58Grand Slam loser time because is I had I had the title with the
- 45:03no, I haven't competed for the tag.
- 45:05All single. Single championships, Like my
- 45:07first time with Peter 4 was earlier this year.
- 45:09It was the TV title against Diego Hill and then recently the
- 45:13main event, the Obando, Chris Slade and then versus Christian
- 45:16Robinson. And it's like, damn, what do I
- 45:18got to do? Like I killed this manager.
- 45:20Like I like what? What more do?
- 45:22What more is required of me? Yeah, I'm sure.
- 45:26I think it's going to come. I think it'll come in before you
- 45:29know it. One day.
- 45:31I, I, I will say this, I, the people who are in charge there
- 45:34do not like short title runs. They don't like flip flopping
- 45:36titles. They want it to mean something.
- 45:39So they keep it on people for a little bit of time.
- 45:40So but when you get it, you'll have it.
- 45:44I I just got to keep politicking.
- 45:46Yeah, just. Which brother?
- 45:48Brother, Yeah. It's not going to work with me.
- 45:50Brother. I'm I'm going to need to win the
- 45:51championship tonight. So be sorry.
- 45:55What do you think about the What do you think about?
- 45:58Have you heard that story about collision with the 2 girls?
- 46:02Yeah, they didn't want to lose. They went home.
- 46:04I think it's still I think it's insane.
- 46:06Imagine being fired from WWE so it's not even a good safety net
- 46:09and then you go to the next biggest company and be like, I'm
- 46:12not losing, see you later. You're.
- 46:14Like. Well, you showed up apparently.
- 46:16Wasn't even not losing the match supposed to be 3 minutes where
- 46:18it's like, yeah, it sucks, but that's national TV and there's
- 46:22like, we want more time. And they're like, no, they're
- 46:25like, OK, we're not wrestling. Yeah, you showed them.
- 46:28You're 3 minutes on TV to 0. Welcome back to the Indies for
- 46:3440 bucks and a handshake. Yeah, It's, it's, it's, it's
- 46:37absurd, man. It's absurd, like.
- 46:40You have people who would die for three minutes on television
- 46:42and you're going to say no? Like that's crazy.
- 46:45Hell, I'd suck a Dick for 30 seconds like.
- 46:48If it paid enough, right? So besides Championship gold,
- 46:55what are some other goals you have set for yourself personally
- 46:58or in this industry? I want to go to Los Angeles to
- 47:05do the New Japan school over there, the Dojo.
- 47:08And so we're looking at a timeline of either later this
- 47:12year, later next year or like the year after that.
- 47:18But that's definitely one of my goal places is New Japan because
- 47:22that's probably my favorite style of wrestling.
- 47:25Yeah. And so like that is the ultimate
- 47:27goal is to get there. You should go to London.
- 47:31It's kind of it's a very simple British strong style and is just
- 47:34right up the same style as Japanese strong style.
- 47:38Yeah, I've, I've been looking at places in England like a lot of
- 47:41people try to give me like the Iggies, like oh send, send, send
- 47:44your stuff over there. Maybe like you can get a booking
- 47:46in London or like in England and I'm.
- 47:48Like, I went there, I loved it. I can't.
- 47:49I don't have a passport yet. I'll get one.
- 47:52Get it? Get one.
- 47:53It's so good. What is your favorite and least
- 47:59favorite type of fan at wrestling shows?
- 48:06I love fans who are respectful. I don't like fans who are
- 48:09disrespectful. What would cost to disrespectful
- 48:13fan at A at a pro wrestling show?
- 48:16So the old gay men in my DMS in my comment section, like posting
- 48:21like thirsty comments and for, for my friends and family to see
- 48:25on my Facebook and like, yeah, I get the occasional like grey
- 48:30ball pic in my e-mail or like I, I, I have Adm Hall of Fame where
- 48:34it's like people like being as forward as like I want to lick
- 48:36your balls. And I'm like, no, people ask me
- 48:38if I have an only fan. So I'm like, no, this one dude
- 48:41said he's he'd worship my sweaty feet and socks but wouldn't buy
- 48:44a pair. You know, like.
- 48:46What is the craziest comment you had that your friends and family
- 48:49have seen? Dude, it was like this dude
- 48:54talking about my bulge, you know, like like like I am not a
- 49:00well endowed man. It is all balls down there,
- 49:02right? All balls.
- 49:04It's it's all, it's all ball. But like, no, I just get like
- 49:07these comments. They're just like, look at that
- 49:09package. Like it's fun fact, the only
- 49:13post on Reddit that's ever been made about me.
- 49:15It's under the subreddit called Wrestlers with a Package and
- 49:18it's just about like people whose shit look big in their
- 49:21trunks. Yeah, Yep.
- 49:23I ever seen that? I'm like damn, like.
- 49:25But there's a whole website dedicated to people who write
- 49:28fan fiction off pro like independent wrestlers.
- 49:31Yeah, it's like, it's like, you know, like as as long as you
- 49:35guys are like respectful of me, my, my family, you know, my
- 49:39career and my wife over here, like it's, it's fine.
- 49:42When, like you cross that boundary, it's like, OK, yeah.
- 49:45Your gram's like there's someone on Facebook talking about your
- 49:48Weiner, dude. You go to my comments section
- 49:53right now, there's like a, a bunch of dudes who like like are
- 49:58obviously very old because they, they take their photos like this
- 50:01for their profile picture and it's just like heart eyes and
- 50:04shit. What platform you think is the
- 50:07worst? Facebook, definitely.
- 50:09Really. They they have they have no, no
- 50:13boundaries on there. They will just shoot right into
- 50:15the void of. I'm going to pull up your most
- 50:21all right. So you and Facade.
- 50:25Awesome picture you guys. Great pic.
- 50:27Love this pic. So nothing crazy there.
- 50:29Nothing crazy there go to like a solo picture of me right?
- 50:35You drinking the beer? Yeah.
- 50:40I'm already noticing a trend of the same handful of people
- 50:44commenting a lot. This is awesome.
- 50:53This is my new game. Is is looking at.
- 50:57Oh, here you go. Looks good in trunks.
- 51:00Yeah, I have AI of you AI videos of you in my camera roll
- 51:04already. Someone's making AI isn't isn't
- 51:10your job. Fake wrestling fan fiction opens
- 51:14ChatGPT. There's some good ones in here.
- 51:17Yeah, I, I think I delete like the most like raunchy ones.
- 51:22So, you know, like, like my, like my like my great grandma
- 51:27still alive who's gonna post like a good job gift that she
- 51:30doesn't see. Like, yeah, it's like, it's
- 51:34like. Anyone's listening to this?
- 51:35I encourage anyone who listens to go to my page and either fat
- 51:40shame me on every like I'll allow it.
- 51:42Like people are going to come at you because you're going to be
- 51:44really mean, but I'm giving you permission to do it.
- 51:46I want to start a trend where just people fat shame me or ugly
- 51:50shame me. It's going to be on on Facebook
- 51:53just so my my friends and family are confused by it.
- 51:57Like that would be amazing. It's like I, I, I'm trying to
- 52:00make it like very, very clear that like I, I love my gay, my
- 52:04gay fans, right? Yeah, because they they make me
- 52:06the most money consistently because they'd be looking at my.
- 52:09Shit, I'm an, I'm an ally. I got the flag right behind me.
- 52:11I, I, I love me. I love me the the cult, the the
- 52:14team, you know? Did you say the cult?
- 52:17The cult, the culture, I guess. The culture.
- 52:19The cult, the culture, the culture.
- 52:20The gay cult. The gay.
- 52:22Agendas coming for you, that's what.
- 52:24That's just about This better. Become a MAGA podcast real
- 52:27quick. I have a shirt from when Effie
- 52:32wrestled Paro and it was called No Peace Underground and it's
- 52:36their logo is like a pentagram, a devil with a pet Baphomet in
- 52:39the middle of it. And I have it's a pet Baphomet
- 52:42pentagram and it's rainbow. And then it says, sorry, I have
- 52:44A tag that's bothering me and on the back it says Fear the Gay
- 52:47Agenda because it was an Effie and Paro match.
- 52:50I was like, that's the greatest shirt of all time.
- 52:52I've met Effie, he's one of the sweetest people ever.
- 52:54He's on my bucket list. I have an Effie figure on my
- 52:57shelf. I have the Chase Effy figure
- 53:00too. Yeah, all of my gay fans, you
- 53:04guys are the best. But once once you you know, are
- 53:07asking me about only fans that get a little creeped out, like
- 53:09respect me as a person first, like.
- 53:12I think there's a market you're not you're not tapping into
- 53:15there. No, I'm bad.
- 53:17Like I'll be selling feet pics, you know?
- 53:19There you go. Because if, if, if you're as
- 53:21much of A loser to be jacking off the feet like you're. 15 not
- 53:25loser because they're probably good clientele if you're a
- 53:29distinguished human being that has the fine taste in Jaeger
- 53:34feet. I, I have, I have this one, this
- 53:37is this one gay friend, Adam and his husband Miguel, Like they're
- 53:40the sweetest people ever, right? But like he, he's, he's told me
- 53:43like how he's, how he plays like this bully and people pay him to
- 53:47like, you know, have, have him like reject them and shit.
- 53:51And he's like, Oh yeah, you'd be a good straight bully.
- 53:53And I'm like, I'd rather not like.
- 53:56That could be a new gimmick. I couldn't even get like just
- 53:58straight bully. Boy, we went on a fucking
- 54:03tangent there. What are some?
- 54:05Hobbies. That's what I listen to podcasts
- 54:06for. It's a tangent.
- 54:07Let's go off on board tangent. What are some hobbies and
- 54:11interest you have outside of your industry?
- 54:14I'm very good rock climber. I'm AV.
- 54:17I'm AV 8 climber if anyone knows that kind of terminology.
- 54:19No idea V8, that's like a juice, right?
- 54:23It is. It is a juice, but it's also
- 54:25very hard climbing grade, like it goes up to I think 12:00 so.
- 54:30And you're only an 8 pussy. Oh, I want to see you Try, Try,
- 54:36try, try A2 and. Listen, back in the day, our
- 54:39roller skating rink had one of those walls that would just spin
- 54:43and you had to keep climbing it. Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 54:46And then it would like almost go like this.
- 54:49But there's no, there's no like good climbing over here.
- 54:52Like when I was in Pittsburgh, the climbing scene is fucking
- 54:55fantastic. Like I, I love like the
- 54:57separation of like I like my gyms very grungy.
- 55:01Like I don't like the bright lights or the Planet Fitness
- 55:03like a crunch where it's like, oh God, there's oh shit.
- 55:06Like, I like the gyms where it's like, you know, you just have
- 55:08sweat stains in the seats. Yeah, you're getting meningitis.
- 55:12Yeah, all the you get tetanus from the weights and shit like
- 55:15that. That's my kind of vibe.
- 55:17But like the one rock climbing place over here is like has that
- 55:21same vibe. And I'm like, yeah, I really
- 55:22like this because like, you know, all the holds are
- 55:25basically white from all the chalk and dead skin.
- 55:29And like you can you can tell there has been a new hold since
- 55:31like the 50s and shit like that's, that's the kind of,
- 55:35that's the kind of rock climbing that I don't like, you know, if
- 55:37there's no good gyms over here. So I stopped, I stopped doing
- 55:39it. But I really did like rock
- 55:40climbing. Nice anything.
- 55:42Are you as much of A gamer as she is back there?
- 55:45Are you? Are you a gamer movie pop
- 55:46culture person? So we'll get, we'll get the
- 55:50movies. Don't, don't worry.
- 55:51I'm a massive, massive movie guy.
- 55:54But I used to be a huge gamer, right?
- 55:57But I have a very addictive personality.
- 56:00So like I actually sold my PC like a year ago because I
- 56:05realized like huh, I am just sitting here playing video games
- 56:09like waking up, going to work, coming home, playing video games
- 56:11till I go to bed. And I'm just like, this is not
- 56:13like a good cycle. I'm not getting anything done.
- 56:16And so I sold, I sold my PC and now all we can play is Roblox
- 56:20basically. Oh, that's right, I did hear
- 56:21about your Roblox. I was told not to say anything.
- 56:24We, we are, we are big Roblox people in this house.
- 56:28She's playing Roblox right now. I've been watching videos.
- 56:32I don't know what Roblox, it's like a, it's like a more generic
- 56:36Minecraft, right? No, so my Minecraft is, you
- 56:40know, it has like set parameters, but Roblox, it's,
- 56:43it's basically like they're selling, they're selling you
- 56:45like an engine, right. So Roblox is his own game engine
- 56:49and people just create any game they want out of that.
- 56:51And it's like you have like, you have like obstacle courses,
- 56:54shooter games, like story games. Isn't that huge on like even to
- 56:59the point where Roblox had to like really dive in where people
- 57:01were really like praying on kids on that, on that game?
- 57:05They're they're currently in a like an FBI investigation right
- 57:08now because pet files in the game, yeah.
- 57:10It was really, really bad. Like, it's like, that's like the
- 57:12biggest place where people are finding these fucking dirt balls
- 57:16is this Roblox game where kids are like, generally having a
- 57:18good time and fucking creeps are ruining it.
- 57:21Yeah. That sucks.
- 57:22The worst thing we do to children on Roblox is start
- 57:25playing shooter games because we just destroy absolutely just
- 57:30nothing remaining. We just destroy kids on shooter
- 57:33games because, you know, I'm a 22 year old grown man playing on
- 57:36a 12 year old Jimmy with an iPad, you know, and.
- 57:40Just smashing them. It's absolutely wrecking these,
- 57:44but I'm I'm I'm a huge movie guy.
- 57:47Like we we've gotten like a few shows, like been watching like
- 57:50on and off like some things, but like movies are my domain.
- 57:53Like I love horror movies. I love like action movies, big
- 57:57story time things like Quentin Tarantino is my favorite
- 58:00director. OK, what's your favorite
- 58:03Tarantino movie? Pulp Fiction.
- 58:05OK. That's my favorite as well.
- 58:07We'll take that, we'll take that.
- 58:10Can you guess my favorite scene? In Pulp Fiction.
- 58:21I. It's not about, it's not about
- 58:23the storage. It's not the storage 1.
- 58:25Oh, OK, I won't say that getting scared.
- 58:29I like the scene that leads up to that where he accidentally
- 58:32shoots the gun like on the and that's a great.
- 58:35Bar in the face. I.
- 58:37Never even must have hit up. Or something.
- 58:40I so my favorite, one of my favorite dialogues in that movie
- 58:44is when they're talking about Marcellus throwing what's Rocco
- 58:50over the balcony over touching feet and they're having the
- 58:52debative touching feet. The beginning thing where
- 58:54they're just, they're just walking and talking.
- 58:56And then he's like touching feet and sticking your whole tongue
- 59:00in the holiest of holes. Ain't even the same fucking
- 59:01thing. You know?
- 59:02My feet are hurting. I like a foot massage.
- 59:05Fuck you, I love that dialogue. But my my favorite scene is the
- 59:11the ending scene when he starts going off in like this tangent,
- 59:15like the woman's holding a gun, she's angry.
- 59:18Like Josh Volta's holding the gun.
- 59:20He's. Tell her to be cool, say bitch,
- 59:22be cool. Tell her bitch be cool.
- 59:26You're going to reach in that thing and you're going to pull
- 59:28up my wallet. Which one is it?
- 59:29It's the one that says Dad motherfucker.
- 59:32Yeah, I, I, I just love how, like, he's such a good movie.
- 59:35This whole like this whole existential, like background
- 59:38thing, just talking to him and dude just sitting there like,
- 59:43like he doesn't give a sequel fuck.
- 59:45He just wants to get out of there.
- 59:49Such a great great movie. What about horror wise?
- 59:52What's your favorite horror movies?
- 59:54Martyrs 2008, the French horror movie.
- 59:58Have you ever seen that? You've never seen that?
- 1:00:00It's a really, it's a really good watch.
- 1:00:02It's very heartbreaking though I I like movies that shake me a
- 1:00:05little bit, you know, little bit heartbreaking.
- 1:00:07Well, trying to be shown the. First one was shaking wild.
- 1:00:10The what? The first train to Busan was
- 1:00:13crazy. That that's in my top, yeah.
- 1:00:16The the wailing. I'm very big into South Korean
- 1:00:19horror because like they the way that they write dialogues are so
- 1:00:23good and like their stories like Parasite, the most recent, like
- 1:00:28big one that blew up, like just the way.
- 1:00:29It's squad game Korean. That's Korean, right?
- 1:00:31Yeah. Squid Game Korean.
- 1:00:32Yeah, it's. Fucking amazing.
- 1:00:34Yeah, I have not watched sex season yet.
- 1:00:38I'm going to have to one day. Yeah.
- 1:00:41The the the wailing really good. My favorite horror guy is
- 1:00:45Michael Myers. That's not obvious by the, you
- 1:00:47know. Yeah, I see.
- 1:00:48Growing up I was a huge Michael guy and then I got older.
- 1:00:52I hated Jason and I loved Michael.
- 1:00:55And then I got older and I rewatched both franchises over
- 1:00:58and I was like Halloween. Besides 2 movies fucking suck.
- 1:01:03Like they're awful and Jason is off.
- 1:01:07Like Jason knew who he was and fucking leaned into it where
- 1:01:11Michael was. Like they just they tweaked it
- 1:01:14too much. Yeah, the the the movies are
- 1:01:18definitely terrible, most of them, but just like, how do you.
- 1:01:21Fuck up the mask late. Like how do you have a perfect
- 1:01:24mask and then in like 6 movies later you're like we're going to
- 1:01:27change the mask and make it look fucking?
- 1:01:29He's going to look smooth, like an alien.
- 1:01:31That's so bad. But like the the Rob Zombie ones
- 1:01:35are are are my favorite. Even Part 2 it's.
- 1:01:39It's a Rob Zombie movie, dude. Like it's, it's pretty funny.
- 1:01:44Part 2 I can live with Part 1. Part 2.
- 1:01:46Two. Two by three aspect ratio shot
- 1:01:48an 8mm film. Everyone is just very raunchy
- 1:01:53and it's yeah, it's a rub zom movie.
- 1:01:55But Jason, like my favorite one is Jason X, definitely.
- 1:01:59Hell yeah. Just like you, like, you can't
- 1:02:03make that now. Like that was definitely the
- 1:02:052000. Like, all right, we're running
- 1:02:06out of ideas. If they just like fuck it, shoot
- 1:02:08for the moon. Every fucking franchise.
- 1:02:10Has to go to space. Every franchise has to go to
- 1:02:13space at least once. Leprechauns.
- 1:02:15Yep, fast and furious with the space.
- 1:02:18Don't get me started on Fast Furious movies.
- 1:02:20I love them. You, you, you can't stop that
- 1:02:23it. It is just a man movie.
- 1:02:26You know I'm I'm just I'm just saying, like women will never
- 1:02:32understand satisfaction like of you know that I get from fast
- 1:02:36and furious because I don't fucking care how realistic it
- 1:02:39is. I want to watch Dom and family
- 1:02:41be like family then just like go solve a world mystery like they.
- 1:02:46Went from drag racing in the streets to saving the world.
- 1:02:51Like 5 times for no reason all right.
- 1:02:55So you're just your book, your book for more podcasts.
- 1:02:58We are, I've chosen what we're going to do and we are going to
- 1:03:03go through and rewatch all the Fast and Furious and talk about
- 1:03:06them. I'm.
- 1:03:10Definitely down. We're family here.
- 1:03:14We're for family. I'm going to make I'm going to
- 1:03:16make knock hole in high school fast and furious font T-shirts.
- 1:03:24That's awesome. That's Matthew.
- 1:03:27Yeah, I can make you a fast and furious font Matthew Yeager
- 1:03:30shirt. We can do that.
- 1:03:30It'd. Be really fun.
- 1:03:32When I used to do the podcast, when people would come on
- 1:03:34whatever movie they picked, I would try to find the font of
- 1:03:37that movie and then make them like their name with it.
- 1:03:39And then they had like a podcast version of their own shirt.
- 1:03:43I'm probably bringing that back. Or Lily would make it 'cause
- 1:03:45she's really good with that stuff.
- 1:03:47Yeah, we can. We can definitely work that out
- 1:03:49for you. But if you can change something
- 1:03:52about the the industry, what would it be?
- 1:03:57Fans talking about your Dick in front of your family.
- 1:04:00Oh yeah, that's the I definitely changed that.
- 1:04:02But that that's more the fans, not the industry, you know?
- 1:04:05Yeah, that's just, that's just everyone's gooner.
- 1:04:07Promoters talking about your Dick in front of your family.
- 1:04:12No there no there was this one time where my my my friend told
- 1:04:15me that their family had a conversation about my Dick on
- 1:04:18the ride home. Really.
- 1:04:21Yeah, that's an interesting thing.
- 1:04:23Just bring up it like the family drive home from the show.
- 1:04:25It's like, you know, just no Matthew Yeager.
- 1:04:27Like that Matthew Yeager guy? He's all balls, that guy.
- 1:04:30All balls that guy. But no, it's like the that's
- 1:04:33where. We're gonna make a new shirt.
- 1:04:34Matthew Yeager. All balls, All balls, Matthew.
- 1:04:37Yeager all balls, no shaft. But the but the way like
- 1:04:43training is handled, I think I would change because like a lot,
- 1:04:49a lot of schools, they they just pump out students that they have
- 1:04:53unpaid laborers, you know? Yeah, a school won't tell a kid
- 1:04:58that they're probably this isn't for you, but I'll take your
- 1:05:01money for nine months. Yeah, 100% there.
- 1:05:04There should be more, you know, of trial periods because I've,
- 1:05:07I've met a lot of people where it's like, oh, like someone let
- 1:05:10you in a ring and we're, we're all OK with that.
- 1:05:13You know, that's like. I will say that I don't like
- 1:05:17Logie P either, but that's crazy to say.
- 1:05:19Oh man. That, that's my my wrestling
- 1:05:26rival is Logie. Pi think that's everyone's rival
- 1:05:30is Logie P but oh you want to come talk to you on Logie P with
- 1:05:37this but. Logie P said I'm not an athlete
- 1:05:42and I was like, listen dude, I'm 39 years old, I'm fat and out of
- 1:05:45shape. But I guarantee if you pick a
- 1:05:47sport, I'm pretty sure I can beat you in it still.
- 1:05:51I want to see you guys won V1 in basketball.
- 1:05:53I would play him one-on-one. I I want to play Logie P1 on one
- 1:05:56in basketball for the funk at the funk sponsorship.
- 1:05:59The winner of me and Logie one-on-one.
- 1:06:01They just painted lines at the at the at the at the venue.
- 1:06:04We can put the hoop up and I can play him one-on-one and the
- 1:06:07winner gets the Funk sponsorship.
- 1:06:09Chris White, if you're listening, book it.
- 1:06:12Chris White, He's definitely not he He he is a real man with wife
- 1:06:16and children. Yeah, he has shit to do.
- 1:06:18He he doesn't get that big just by watching listening to the
- 1:06:20podcast all day, No. He he might at the gym send it
- 1:06:23to him. But yeah, like the like training
- 1:06:26schools, you know, they, they sell hope to people who probably
- 1:06:30aren't going to get far into the business or like, or just not
- 1:06:33bill for it and they take their money.
- 1:06:35And like a big problem I see is like, it's like my training
- 1:06:39class like was basically denied our debuts because they didn't
- 1:06:43have another training class ready.
- 1:06:46Because like after we debuted, like they're expecting like, oh,
- 1:06:49well, no one's going to help us out with the ring.
- 1:06:50I think that, you know, everybody should help out the
- 1:06:52ring. It shouldn't just be the job of
- 1:06:54students where it's like, Oh yeah, see you guys.
- 1:06:56You know, it's obviously like if you have like commitments, stuff
- 1:06:58like that, like you can go home early, you know, if you double
- 1:07:01booked something like that. But most people like this is
- 1:07:04your only show this day. Like let's help tear down the
- 1:07:06ring as. A I'm not calling out any
- 1:07:09promotions, but if you're a complaint at wrestling
- 1:07:12promotions is there's too many matches, why You keep an eye on
- 1:07:16how many people are helping set up and break down the ring and
- 1:07:19then look at how many people are doing it.
- 1:07:21And then look how many people are on the card who are not
- 1:07:23doing it. And nine times out of 10, five
- 1:07:27matches or four matches on your card are people who help set up
- 1:07:31rings and chairs because the guys on the top of the card
- 1:07:34don't want to do it. So don't cry when you got 13
- 1:07:36matches because you're not helping set up and break down.
- 1:07:41Me and Christian like had the most physical match of the
- 1:07:43entire card. We beat the piss out of each
- 1:07:46other. The first two out there like
- 1:07:48carrying barricades and shit. You know, I think there's
- 1:07:51there's no excuse for just not doing your part.
- 1:07:54Yep, Yep, Yep. Yep.
- 1:07:56So I, I think definitely like the, the, the training system,
- 1:07:59like, like have having like, Oh yeah, you have to set up and
- 1:08:03tear down the ring as like unpaid, as you know, I'm paying
- 1:08:07your dues. Like everybody should help out.
- 1:08:09Like there's dues to pay. Yeah.
- 1:08:11I the only reason I don't really touch a lot of ring stuff
- 1:08:15because I'm not in it and I'm not putting my body on the line
- 1:08:18and you don't want me tightening your ropes, you know what I
- 1:08:21mean? Like, I don't know what the fuck
- 1:08:23I'm doing, you know what I'm saying?
- 1:08:24Like I. Mean you you you've set up a
- 1:08:26tear down little interview spot. That's that's your thing.
- 1:08:28No one else is. Gonna do that.
- 1:08:29No one helps me with that. Sometimes people come back and
- 1:08:32give me a hand with it, which is nice.
- 1:08:33But I'll, I'll do chairs if they like, if they're on chairs or if
- 1:08:36there's not already 7000 people doing chairs, I'll, I'll jump on
- 1:08:39chairs and stuff like that. But I really don't touch ring.
- 1:08:43But I'll help with production. I usually do a lot of production
- 1:08:46set up and breakdown. That's fair.
- 1:08:47That's fair enough. Yeah, No, no, no, no one's
- 1:08:50coming at you saying like, oh, ABJ doesn't do his part.
- 1:08:54Fire me. OK, technically I mean, I don't
- 1:08:57even say. I don't really tell a lot of
- 1:08:58people, but I'm like low key disabled.
- 1:09:00I have, I have a joint disorder. I shouldn't be lifting anything.
- 1:09:02I fuck myself up a lot trying to help out, doing too much, but I
- 1:09:05don't tell a lot of people about my disorder.
- 1:09:07Yeah, which is why I'm not allowed to beat the shit out of
- 1:09:09you backstage. Yeah, so I don't, that's why I
- 1:09:11don't do a lot of physical spots because like, I don't want to
- 1:09:13fucking twist the knee and dislocate something because if I
- 1:09:17do and then I get up and pop it back in someone, someone's
- 1:09:20getting choked out. So what are some words of
- 1:09:25encouragement for a beginner that you would give?
- 1:09:29Or anyone just trying to chase their goals or dreams?
- 1:09:33Make sure your financial status is set because I, I fell in the
- 1:09:41trap of thinking like, Oh, I need to get into this as young
- 1:09:44as possible when what I should have done was, you know, secure
- 1:09:48a good job, secure a good place of living and then go and chase
- 1:09:51this dream. Because like there, there's a
- 1:09:55lot of the mindset, you know, like the toxic ethanol shit
- 1:09:59like, Oh, you have to be on your grind.
- 1:10:00So you feel like you do this or you do nothing.
- 1:10:02It's like, no, do like secure your life first, you know,
- 1:10:06because it's, it's not until now, which I'm like set with the
- 1:10:09place. I have food in the fridge.
- 1:10:10I have a good job. I've been in the business for
- 1:10:13nearly three years and trained for 2 before that.
- 1:10:17And like always had food instability, you know, like
- 1:10:22having to borrow money from people to pay my rent because
- 1:10:26like, I was just so enthralled with this.
- 1:10:28But it's like, you should take care of yourself, your needs,
- 1:10:31your family's needs, like your friends.
- 1:10:33And like, another big thing I fell into was the was isolating
- 1:10:38myself from the world. You know, it's like, I've I've
- 1:10:41skipped birthdays, marriages, funerals, like trying to do
- 1:10:44this. And it's like, and nobody does
- 1:10:48that to you. You do it to yourself.
- 1:10:50And it's like, hey, you should probably not do these things.
- 1:10:53You should like, be in the right state of mind to be like, OK,
- 1:10:56yeah. Like wrestling is important to
- 1:10:57me, but I also need to take care of my my things first because we
- 1:11:02forget that we're people and forget that there's still time.
- 1:11:05Like Batista didn't get in the business till he was like 35,
- 1:11:09you know, and he and he was one of the and those two like prime
- 1:11:13examples like, Oh yeah, these guys are fucking like to upper
- 1:11:16echelon of talent. You know, it's like there's
- 1:11:18there's no like the only, there's never.
- 1:11:23You've never lost a battle until you die.
- 1:11:26Yep. You know, you can like today,
- 1:11:29you can decide, hey, like in spring, I'm going to college,
- 1:11:33you know, and there's there's no one stopping you like you like
- 1:11:37you could. Yeah.
- 1:11:39And like there, there's not time running out.
- 1:11:42Like take care of yourself, take care of situation 1st and then
- 1:11:46come into business, yeah. And the last one here, what are
- 1:11:50you grateful for and are you currently happy?
- 1:11:55Very grateful for my family, very grateful for my friends,
- 1:12:00Very grateful for this one. Very thankful for my cat for
- 1:12:04years. I'm thankful there's food in the
- 1:12:06fridge, thankful that we have we figured out the central heating
- 1:12:10in this house. We're not freezing any death and
- 1:12:13I'm very happy to help my life. Awesome man, I'm proud of you
- 1:12:16and like I said, if you ever need to talk, you know I'm
- 1:12:18always there. I love you by guy.
