- 0:47AM. Also streamer from the KCAA
- 0:49radio.com website and NBR Radio dot US.
- 0:53We got to bless the show before we get started.
- 0:55Let's go. When it was in my mother's womb,
- 0:59I had calling on my life to do something in the glory of God
- 1:04and marry it like a wife, commit myself to His word and never be
- 1:09LED astray. And when it's all over, when He
- 1:12comes, I'll be glad to see that day in the morning time.
- 1:36Hey, Mister man, how you doing? I'm good, man.
- 1:39Hey, did you see the game last night?
- 1:41But did you see the shot? I lost money from that.
- 1:44Oh man, that shot was old man. But it.
- 1:46Was good, yeah. What's the name?
- 1:55You really want to know. I do.
- 2:01Exhaustion, muscle spasm, Asthmatic issues, unexpected
- 2:06sickle cell trait typing. Damn are.
- 2:08You serious? When I was young I found out I
- 2:11had sickle cell trait. My mom's told me.
- 2:13But I didn't have no knowledge of it.
- 2:15But when I got older I had a child.
- 2:16The doctor told me my daughter had sickle cell trait.
- 2:19Do you know the? Fact that both parents have
- 2:21sickle cell trait, there's a 50% chance the child may have the
- 2:24trait and 25% chance the child may have the disease and that's
- 2:28what's the count. Do you know that 2.5 million
- 2:30people in the United States have sickle cell trait?
- 2:32300 million people globally. I didn't find out I had sickle
- 2:35cell trait until I was in the Army 10 years.
- 2:37Next thing you know, I had a sickle cell trait exertion site,
- 2:40April cell. I thought that was a black gene
- 2:42or something. Nah man, the black community is
- 2:44number 21 out of 36,000 babies are being born with sickle cell
- 2:48disease. You could be Caucasian,
- 2:50Mediterranean, European, you got to read a bloodline man.
- 2:55There is an inherited gene in our community that has been
- 2:58forgotten. The name is Sickle cell trait.

- 8:34All right, welcome to another episode of the Frondose Show
- 8:37right here on the Military Broadcast Radio Network.
- 8:41That's right, MB Radio. Thanks for tuning this.
- 8:45And then if you caught the PSA at the beginning of the show,
- 8:47that is my sickle cell trade awareness, very important
- 8:50conversation, as you saw. If you want more information,
- 8:52hit me up at WDCON set.org, especially from my military and
- 9:00for our athletes, we're doing some real work around some of
- 9:04these conditions and these red blood cells and, and we're and
- 9:08we're tying it to it on the spiritual aspect as well.
- 9:10So that's what that's what you've been watching here
- 9:12lately, right? Spiritual conversations, right?
- 9:15So the sickle cell trade is my cause very important
- 9:17conversation. Just so you understand that if
- 9:20you have information or you want more information or you got
- 9:22questions, you know somebody with the trait, hit me up and we
- 9:26can get those conversations started with them.
- 9:29All right, I want to have a talk with you just real quick.
- 9:36You know, I have been asked to be a part of the grief portion
- 9:39of our sickle cell community and there was a post today that I
- 9:43read from a young lady and what caught my attention was how she
- 9:49articulated. So I did invite her to come on
- 9:52the show today, but she was tired coming back from Hawaii.
- 9:55She said jet lag, but we are going to agree to a day, a
- 10:00Wednesday, and the time for her to come and actually share this.
- 10:04Personally, it ties into my conversation because I used to
- 10:08do a segment called quality of life versus a cure, right?
- 10:15And a lot of times when we deal with these illnesses and chronic
- 10:17illnesses, you know, there's so many, again, there's so many
- 10:21opinions in the world about what we should do with our health.
- 10:23And, and this is not a right or wrong or good or bad, right.
- 10:25People do stem cell transplants and all the things like
- 10:29everybody, you have a choice, right?
- 10:31We want you to just have an informed choice.
- 10:33But I used to do a segment called quality of life versus
- 10:37cure back in 20. I think I start that like in
- 10:392014, fifteen through 16. And so I, I, I found a clip of
- 10:45that conversation, but I, I, I, I want her to come back and talk
- 10:50about her post because she was, she really made some key points
- 10:54about if she dies. And then she, she laid it all
- 10:59out for the community. So I'm going to play this clip
- 11:03that I had from my, one of my talks.
- 11:06So you can see that and kind of hear about the quality of life
- 11:09for history. We'll play a little couple clips
- 11:10of those and then we're going to get into this episode here
- 11:15today. So let me share my screen where
- 11:19we at we there all right cool we're going to do this This is
- 11:25what happens when you live, ladies and gentlemen so we're
- 11:27going to go right here and we're going to play this clip we.
- 11:34Return you now to your regular program you.
- 11:37Are now to D. There we go, here we go.
- 11:42We. Return you now to your regular
- 11:45program. For now, today to WDC Radio.
- 11:52The quality of life, I think is, is important and important topic
- 11:58to have because we, we, we, we, we live our lives, you know, in
- 12:04these moments in time and, and we plan for the future and, and,
- 12:09and, and having all that going on in life.
- 12:14Some of us deal with illnesses, which impacts us in another
- 12:18level of part of life. And you, we're worried about
- 12:20this. We're worried about if, if this
- 12:22is the last crisis, you know, so much different aspects.
- 12:27What I noticed when I look back now was it's in some languages,
- 12:33it's called the future of uncertainty.
- 12:36We can't control what happens in the future, right?
- 12:38We we just have all right, so that's one all right, not as not
- 12:46as one right, That's one. So I got one more for you that I
- 12:51found in the play. Where is it at?
- 12:57Here's right here. Let's do this one.
- 13:04And and coming to this realization that you know and
- 13:07true and this is very difficult to attain, easy to say,
- 13:12difficult to attain, but truly God is enough for me.
- 13:15And if this is what I'm supposed to?
- 13:18We're going to start that over from the beginning.
- 13:24Who elevates spiritually to a place that most people can't get
- 13:30to? Yeah, and that's when you begin
- 13:32to realize the blessing of that God has put in it in the midst
- 13:37of it. Because if you're going to make
- 13:38it through this disease, you have to elevate and in the
- 13:42process of elevating, you have a beautiful light to shine and
- 13:46give and share with the world, you know, and, and to begin to
- 13:51stop seeing ourselves as victims and realize that we're going
- 13:55through a process, you know, the diamonds are formed deep under
- 14:00high pressure, you know, and, and, and coming to this
- 14:04realization that you know, and truly, and this is very
- 14:08difficult to attain, easy to say, difficult to attain.
- 14:12The truly God is enough for me. And if this is what I'm supposed
- 14:17to be? Going through.
- 14:20There's something in it. All right, so that is you know
- 14:28Doctor Maisha, she we work together and let me make sure I
- 14:34can stop this over here. All right, So if you heard that,
- 14:38that is a real life conversation, a part of our
- 14:40community around sickle cell, right?
- 14:43And these genes are inherited, right?
- 14:46And so it's, it's, it's a sensitive topic, but it's, it's
- 14:53a real life conversation because people, you know you, we just
- 14:57want you to have an informed choice.
- 14:59If you want to do the bone marrow transplant, you want to
- 15:01do the same steel transplant. We're not saying it's right or
- 15:05wrong, good or bad, but just make sure that you do your
- 15:08research, your family does their research, because sometimes
- 15:11people look at the quality of life versus a cure.
- 15:13And sometimes the quality of life is not as bad, especially
- 15:17if you can get their emotional state right, in alignment with,
- 15:21with, with God and with some peace, right?
- 15:23And, and for me, even with my trait condition in the Rabdel,
- 15:26in the arthritis and blah, blah, blah stuff that I deal with
- 15:29secondary, it was living to that future of uncertainty, right?
- 15:33And we talked about grief, we talked about life and death and,
- 15:37and sometimes, you know, we know that we, we all have that death
- 15:40in common, right? But Christ took this thing out
- 15:43of death. If you believe that, right?
- 15:44And then you also got to look at, you know, sometimes we've,
- 15:47we, we know we're going to pass away, but we don't want to die
- 15:50too soon, right? So there's so many things that
- 15:52go on in this conversation. So I just appreciate my sickle
- 15:56cell community or allow me to be a part of that discussion again
- 16:00and quality of life versus the cure.
- 16:02You may see that segment appear here on the show because that is
- 16:07a important topic for us to discuss in around stress, around
- 16:13mental toughness, around mental health, all these different
- 16:15things that we deal with in life, right?
- 16:17All the different circumstances and the concerns and the worries
- 16:21that stress can trigger. Stress is, is bad on the body,
- 16:26right? We already deal with these
- 16:27inherited genes and then you add stress, the chemicals, the free
- 16:30radicals, all that stuff. If you believe and understand
- 16:33the biology and the all of that stuff around the cells.
- 16:38And like we're going to do more talks about that because it is
- 16:40so important, right? And maybe that will give people
- 16:43a level of peace when they can really understand what's going
- 16:45on with their bodies, right? And so we're going to work that
- 16:48out. I thank you for again Tune
- 16:50listening today. I got a very impactful show for
- 16:53you again this week and let's just get started, right.
- 16:59So what's my guy at that? What's happening, Sir?
- 17:03How's. It going.
- 17:06What's happening? Can you hear me?
- 17:10Yeah, you can hear me. Yeah.
- 17:11We good? Yeah, man, I had to die.
- 17:14It was, it was a scramble session today.
- 17:17I was like, yeah, I got everything.
- 17:18I'm I'm, I'm up here with my cousin.
- 17:20We working on my AI video now. I'm working with AI on my music
- 17:23video for the NFL and Christian believers.
- 17:26You know, I got a good song coming up that I make it and I
- 17:31ended up leaving my headphones downstairs in the car and I was
- 17:34like, Nope, I forgot the fabric softener.
- 17:38They were right downstairs and grab their headphones real
- 17:40quick, slam them on, praying to God I don't have to come up
- 17:43first. And then I got back up here and
- 17:46I had to talk with the landlord about to take it up parking
- 17:49spots. It was just a big scramble
- 17:50session. I'm like, this is just the enemy
- 17:52trying to stop me. This ain't happening.
- 17:54Watch we go. So your video's a little your.
- 17:57Video's a little a little staticky too, so just make sure
- 18:01you're going to get some. OK, yeah, I got some clear
- 18:05though. OK, you can hear me, Sir.
- 18:08All right, So I'm just going to do this real quick.
- 18:11You see that in HD? Do you see that in HD or it must
- 18:14have glitched on? My end it's.
- 18:18Not HD. It's it's static.
- 18:18Oh, this is bad, this is bad, this is bad.
- 18:22All right, well, today is supposed to be the day we go
- 18:25into the other part of the segment of the dual versus the
- 18:27dual nature. And we was talking about, I
- 18:31wanted to get into the part of enticement.
- 18:34And the reason being I kind of noticed that even with our body
- 18:39language or even with our speech, sometimes our
- 18:44conversations get curved into enticing, persuading, debating,
- 18:48or trying to get someone to think how we think.
- 18:53So that's the reason why Proverbs in 10/19, it says that
- 18:57a multitude of words lack. Well, if you're trying to
- 19:02manipulate a conversation and you're you, you find yourself
- 19:07willing to get the person's attention when the person really
- 19:11doesn't agree with what they're saying.
- 19:13That does lead to sin. It leads to manipulation, which
- 19:18is witchcraft. It leads into forced ideology,
- 19:22which is witchcraft. It leads into that was my stereo
- 19:25don't trip. And that leads into other forms.
- 19:29That leads to sin. Because then you're adding,
- 19:32you're opening up portals for negative emotions to come in the
- 19:35middle of it. Where that's the reason why in a
- 19:38lot of cases in today's age, we have a lot of young people in
- 19:42generations. And I and the younger generation
- 19:45of this 2020 generation, they don't want to comply to Christ,
- 19:51Christ teachers because of how it's being fed to them, how it's
- 19:55being brought to them. And that's because we're using
- 19:59old school force tactics thinking that we're supposed to
- 20:02be the ones. By the words of casting out the
- 20:06demons out of them that we're doing.
- 20:09No, it's God doing it, but all we're doing is presenting with
- 20:13spirit and love. All we're doing is giving them a
- 20:16chance. So if we're not thinking about
- 20:18them in the process and we're not loving on them in the
- 20:21process, then how are we winning them over?
- 20:24Yeah, Hey, do me a favor, man, I need you to log out and come
- 20:27back in because you're a little bit you, you're glitching a
- 20:30little bit. So I want to make sure that
- 20:31everything is cool. People can hear you and see you
- 20:33properly. So I got I'm gonna drop you out
- 20:35and I'm gonna come back because I got another guest in the
- 20:38building. This is real life we live.
- 20:42We was live yesterday on KC Radio.
- 20:43So yesterday if you happen to catch the show KC Radio, I had a
- 20:48guest, Melinda. She's a veteran as well.
- 20:50So she fits right into the topic over here.
- 20:52So I'm gonna bring her to the deck while my man Ariana gets
- 20:55his self situated over here. What's happening, lady?
- 20:59What's up, What's up, What's up? How are you doing?
- 21:03I'm doing good. Like my daddy said, you got the
- 21:05best hand. Do me a favor, introduce
- 21:10yourself to the listeners here on the military broadcast.
- 21:13All right, I am Christine. Melinda Pier.
- 21:17I go by Melinda. However, if the military looking
- 21:21for me, America's Most Wanted right or the police, then it
- 21:25will be Christine. But I go by my middle name
- 21:31'cause I run a nonprofit called Refocus on You.
- 21:35I am an Air Force. Shout out to my Air Force peeps.
- 21:39You know, in the house, I'm an Air Force I.
- 21:41Appreciate the Air Force. I appreciate them for finding my
- 21:44sickle cell trait. I appreciate them.
- 21:45Yes, yes, yes. And also a Department of Defense
- 21:50retiree as well. And I am single, no kids living
- 21:57my best life and I run a nonprofit or called refocus on
- 22:03you. So yeah, that's let's let's
- 22:04this. This is this is the military
- 22:06platform. So let's let's go back in time a
- 22:09little bit. What was going on in in that
- 22:12thought process of military college?
- 22:16What, what what was what was life like at that?
- 22:18This, those. Society factors.
- 22:20Wow. Yes, Yes, yes, yes.
- 22:25Let me break this down. Excuse me?
- 22:28You're. Good.
- 22:29You're good. You're good.
- 22:29I was like, let me get some water here.
- 22:33So, so I went in the military late.
- 22:37You know, I was about 26. I was an old head, right?
- 22:40I was old. I, I had, I what I did was I
- 22:46went to college a little bit late as well.
- 22:49I was working, I went to travel school, did all of that.
- 22:53And so I decided to go in the military when I was 25 and I was
- 22:58old. That was, that's old.
- 23:00That's old. Because The funny thing about it
- 23:02is I had a place, I was working for the Postal Service.
- 23:06I was making great money at 25. And The funny thing about it is
- 23:12I'll never forget when, you know, during basic training at
- 23:16the TII had he would call me magic, right?
- 23:19That's my, that's my maiden name.
- 23:21He said magic. And oh, he wasn't, oh, I did not
- 23:26like him 'cause he now telling me, get up, do this, get up and
- 23:30do this, get up. I want to say, do you know who I
- 23:34am? I, I had a job.
- 23:37I had a career. What you talking about?
- 23:41But I couldn't do that. I couldn't do that.
- 23:43So, so, yeah, I, I went in, you know, like I said, I had worked
- 23:50for the Postal Service a few years before I went in.
- 23:54I had a two year degree. I had, you know, I, I was about
- 23:57established, but I went in for a couple of different reasons.
- 24:01You know, I went in because my, my parents was going through a
- 24:05real ugly divorce and it was just something like, you know
- 24:07what? I need to, I need to get away
- 24:09from this and then all, you know, right.
- 24:13And then also another reason I went in is I had so many family
- 24:19members telling me that I wasn't gonna make it that I, you know,
- 24:23I'm, I'm, I'm, you know, you're not that kind.
- 24:26You're not the type. You know, you, you can't do it.
- 24:29You can't survive. And if you know, Christine,
- 24:34Melinda Pier, oh, my goodness. Look, you don't tell me what I
- 24:38can't do. Oh my goodness.
- 24:42You know, you know, giving me an identity, right, giving me my,
- 24:46giving me an identity and they and you know, I'm, I'm so
- 24:49grateful for God because he already had my plans laid out.
- 24:53He already had them laid out and he's like, no, you going to go
- 24:56my child, you going through this?
- 24:58And so I went through it. I had yeah.
- 25:01But they were like, shoot, I was, they were making bets and
- 25:04everything like, yeah. Wow, she.
- 25:06She ain't gonna survive. She ain't gonna.
- 25:08Survive. That's cold.
- 25:10That's cold. She ain't.
- 25:10Gonna make it right. That's cold.
- 25:13So yeah, I I made it. I had to prove them wrong.
- 25:17But I And how many? How many?
- 25:18How many years? You.
- 25:19She was you, Sir. I.
- 25:20I did only four years. I did four years in the military
- 25:25and the reason why I did four years because, you know, I'm
- 25:28looking around. I was stationed in Japan.
- 25:30I was stationed overseas my time.
- 25:32Wow. And so I never forget.
- 25:35I was in the office and I'm looking around.
- 25:38I'm looking around at these civilians, right?
- 25:40I'm like, let me get this straight.
- 25:44They doing the same job I'm doing, but they getting paid
- 25:48more money. Yeah.
- 25:49Then they ain't got to do all that.
- 25:51You know, they ain't got to, you know, deal with all the the you
- 25:54know, you got to do this. You got to do that.
- 25:56And I said, I said. Let.
- 25:58Me get this straight, you know, I think I'm and so I did my four
- 26:04years I got out, but the ironic thing is when I went civil
- 26:10servant, you know, civil servant where I went and worked on an
- 26:13Air Force Base, I did the exact job, the exact job in the
- 26:20military, exact traffic management, traffic management.
- 26:26So it was like, yeah, so I, I did that, yeah, I did, I did
- 26:32that for, I did that for like an additional four years with the
- 26:38government and then I transferred over to doing
- 26:41government contracts from. The contracts I'm, I'm going to
- 26:43bring you back to, to do some more, some more military talk
- 26:46'cause you got a lot of things covered today.
- 26:48But I do want to give you an opportunity to discuss your,
- 26:52your, your refocus on you and, and, and where that came from
- 26:56'cause that's going to lead into our conversation today as well.
- 27:00Well, you know, like we had talked about before it, it came
- 27:04from an illness and you know, they, they, they, you know, the,
- 27:11the and, and you know, this is this is for us really important.
- 27:14If we ever talked about like disability percentage in the
- 27:17ratings and stuff like that, that people go through and
- 27:20sometimes have a hard time and problem.
- 27:23But my, my situation came from a diagnose diagnosis that, you
- 27:30know, doctors couldn't figure out, didn't know whatever.
- 27:33And I got tired of being, I got tired of so many people being
- 27:37undiagnosed and misdiagnosed. And that's how I was
- 27:41undiagnosed, misdiagnosed for several years.
- 27:44I would watch people come out of the doctor office in tears or
- 27:48depressed because they don't have a diagnosis, right?
- 27:51Military friends of mine as well have, excuse me, gone through
- 27:57the military and they're battling with some illness and
- 28:01they didn't even try to see if they could get service connected
- 28:05or anything like that. You know, a lot, a lot of these
- 28:08things I was watching and I was seeing and I'm like, wow.
- 28:12And I'm like, this is crazy and you know, it, it, it actually
- 28:19started because I got when I was working for the government, I
- 28:22got pulled off the job. You know, department of
- 28:24Defensive, they ain't playing that when they got wins saying
- 28:27finding out that I only had a couple years left to live.
- 28:30They're like, we don't have to let you go.
- 28:32We're gonna have to let you go. You ain't dying on our you ain't
- 28:37dying on our time. It's so, and so, you know, when
- 28:43I, when I had to come off work, it was like one of those things,
- 28:47Lord, what do I do? And I remember one day God said,
- 28:52we got work to do, you know, we got work to do.
- 28:56And that's what started helping those who have been undiagnosed,
- 29:00misdiagnosed with illnesses. They don't know what to do.
- 29:04They don't know where to go. And that's, that's what we,
- 29:07that's, that's how it got started.
- 29:09You know, advocacy. Advocacy is real, you know,
- 29:13advocating for others and, you know, helping them out.
- 29:16So that's all. I mean same, same with my sickle
- 29:19cell trace awareness conversation, not knowing that
- 29:22that not knowing I had the gene until the Air Force Base that I
- 29:26was connected to do my blood work.
- 29:28All that process and then collapsing a few years later and
- 29:31then the rap dough and all that and then finding out that those
- 29:33two were connected. It was like.
- 29:36You know. Slow.
- 29:36So taking that conversation and, and, and creating a, a platform
- 29:40to bring awareness, you know, right, that that's, that's
- 29:43we're, we're kind of stimulating.
- 29:44Those same. Conversations.
- 29:46And you was in the military at that time, right?
- 29:48Faron when? Yeah, I was still.
- 29:50Yeah, I was. I was you.
- 29:51Know which is which, which helps.
- 29:54But you know, you think about what about the people who have
- 29:57gone out of the military they've done.
- 29:59And then, like you said this, you know, some things happen to
- 30:02them, they won't even go back and work on their benefits, you
- 30:06know, or work on, you know, or see the connection or anything
- 30:09like that. And a lot of people miss their,
- 30:12their connections, their, you know, they, they think.
- 30:16Sorry, their entitlements. That right, you know they don't
- 30:21like I give you an example. I had a situation when I was
- 30:26stationed in the outstation in Azores.
- 30:29I I was having. Yeah, I was in the Azores.
- 30:35Yeah, I. Stopped.
- 30:36I stopped by the Azores on my way to Germany.
- 30:40They provided us they, they provided us some lunch on the
- 30:44way to Germany and we stopped over there.
- 30:46I'm trying to get back over there.
- 30:49Yeah, I would love to myself. I would love to myself.
- 30:51I got some people over there, definitely.
- 30:53Yes, I was. I was over there for 2 1/2
- 30:57years. No way in the middle of the
- 30:59Atlantic. On the island yes, and I had and
- 31:02you know what I was living off the base, right and I had me a
- 31:05nice little house and it was right there at the ocean Oh man,
- 31:08it was nice. It was nice.
- 31:10OK, OK, OK. I can't take.
- 31:11It I can't take it. We we'll talk about that later.
- 31:15So I'm going to bring my God, I'm going to play APSA
- 31:18commercial real quick and then we're going to come back.
- 31:20Ariana's back here. So we're going to get into that
- 31:22and you're more than welcome to join into this conversation as
- 31:24we talked. About sounds good, sounds great.
- 31:26But we've been dealing with the alter ego and what that looks
- 31:29like and, and he's got some topics.
- 31:31So I appreciate him for bringing that to the table.
- 31:33So I'm going to play APSA and then let me see what we got.
- 31:37We're going to play over here. Are we going to go right here?

- 32:37Frondos show on the military broadcast real network all right
- 32:40ladies and gentlemen, we're going to get this segment
- 32:42started. I'm as if you seen the Instagram
- 32:44post you watch the last previous episodes.
- 32:48My guy here has been bringing some of these spiritual
- 32:52conversations with us and let's see how you are.
- 32:55You good man I'm. Back now, Now can you?
- 32:59I'm not good on your end. Yeah, you still a little fuzzy,
- 33:02but we going to make it work. Still a little fuzzy.
- 33:05I don't know what's going on with the Internet, but it's not
- 33:08nothing to do with my phone, because my phone, it could be my
- 33:11phone acting up. I don't know.
- 33:12It's been overheating lately and acting, you know, crazy.
- 33:15But all right, I only can do what I can.
- 33:18I only can do what I can. Yeah, yeah.
- 33:20It's just the end of me trying to stop the message.
- 33:22Just trying to stop the message that.
- 33:26Was. Me I I tried something and it
- 33:30worked. Well, what happened?
- 33:32Here's what's wow. So why is my my phone is totally
- 33:37on blackout mode, so I'm going to have to reset.
- 33:43Good. As long as you can see me, we're
- 33:45going to continue just like this when we were all all in the
- 33:49black screen. I'm still going to talk to you
- 33:51and get this through. So where did this go?
- 33:56I was explaining about the enticement and the conversation
- 34:00and understanding that. It's not, it's not going to
- 34:03work. You got to, you got to come back
- 34:04because it's you're talking and it's choppy.
- 34:06Is it? Is it something else on,
- 34:08Something else on that's going on?
- 34:10Maybe turn, maybe turn the Wi-Fi off.
- 34:13Maybe turn the Wi-Fi off and just use your.
- 34:16I got I got to rebuild my whole phone all.
- 34:19Right we're. Going to come, We'll come back
- 34:21to you. This is what happens when you
- 34:23live on radio. Yeah, yeah, I understand.
- 34:26No, I I know. You gotta.
- 34:27You gotta make it work, right? I understand.
- 34:30Let's let's talk about last night's episode.
- 34:34You, you, you came on last night.
- 34:41What, what, what's your what's your thought process?
- 34:44What is your experience of that whole female woman?
- 34:48I mean, this is what you these are the conversations already.
- 34:50So I know you got some insights on that, but what, what, what
- 34:53did what's, what's your take away from that episode?
- 35:00You know, I hadn't really, I hadn't really thought about so
- 35:02much of it. I enjoyed it.
- 35:04It was great. I thought what it was really
- 35:07interesting is each of us had different experiences.
- 35:11That's one thing I can tell. You know, I feel like one person
- 35:16is still healing, another person maybe is just got there, another
- 35:20person is done, you know, but it was great.
- 35:24You know, it's important to have a variety of opinion because
- 35:30what you know, somebody may not know what I or I don't want to
- 35:33say that, but somebody may can relate to what what another what
- 35:40the other woman said about, you know, her going through and how
- 35:44she deals with life and how she deals with healing and things
- 35:48like that. Somebody might relate to myself,
- 35:50somebody, you know. So I love the fact that we had
- 35:54different takes. You.
- 35:55Know on it, but it's real. It's real when it boils down to
- 36:02it. Healing is real.
- 36:04And I still say this, you know, forgiveness, Israel, if you, if
- 36:10you can't forgive that for and you know, like I said, a lot of
- 36:12people think that, oh, if I forgive them that, you know, it
- 36:15just means that, you know, it's OK for them to treat me like
- 36:19this or it's OK for you to do these things.
- 36:21No, for forgiveness. Is for you to.
- 36:24Say like, hey, you know what, I'm a move on and I, you know,
- 36:29I, I, I haven't. The only the only thing I have
- 36:32went through is the illness, you know, being diagnosed with a
- 36:36terminal illness and the doctors constantly saying any minute
- 36:40now, any minute now, you know, we, we you know, it's
- 36:45impossible. You ain't gonna live this year,
- 36:47OK? You made it last year, but it
- 36:48ain't gonna be this year. And so that's the only thing
- 36:51that I have had to go through. But like I said, with God
- 36:55everything is possible. And when, when, when, let me ask
- 36:59you, let me ask you when you say that that's what you had to go
- 37:01through, right? You had to go through that,
- 37:03right? Dealing with, you know, my own
- 37:07personal, you know, stuff that I do with the future of
- 37:09uncertainty. That's kind of like the future
- 37:11of uncertainty, right? Because you don't know like you,
- 37:14you've got a diagnosis that that your life is coming to an end
- 37:19like. How did you?
- 37:21How did How? Did how do you how do you make
- 37:24peace with that though? Can I ask you that?
- 37:26Well, well, do you even make peace with it?
- 37:29You'd, you'd Yeah. You, you have to make peace with
- 37:32it. You have to make peace with it.
- 37:34And in the beginning, I'm gonna tell you.
- 37:38In the beginning, when they told me this, I was doing the cabbage
- 37:41patch. I was like, hey, And I'm gonna
- 37:43tell you why, right? Because for two years I went
- 37:48undiagnosed and misdiagnosed. So two years I'm taking 10
- 37:52different drugs. And that's not even the, the
- 37:55illness that you have. And, and Can you imagine when
- 37:59you go into doctor offices and you know, they, you, you got to
- 38:03write down what, what's going on, What's your diagnosis?
- 38:05And he's like, I don't know, right.
- 38:08And then think about it for a while before you even got
- 38:12diagnosed. You're probably having episodes,
- 38:15you're probably having flares. Body probably ain't acting
- 38:18right. And you don't understand like I
- 38:20don't know what's going on. And so, you know, you're, you're
- 38:24right, uncertainty. You're in that fear.
- 38:27You know, you're in a fear state of mind where I'm afraid to go
- 38:31somewhere. I'm afraid to go.
- 38:34I'm afraid to do this. I'm afraid to do that because I
- 38:37never know when when something's going to break down.
- 38:41So for that. And that's how it was for two
- 38:44years, right? And and and the problem was I
- 38:49was paralyzed from head to toe. I couldn't feed myself, I
- 38:55couldn't bathe myself. I couldn't walk, I couldn't go
- 38:58to the bathroom, I couldn't drive, I couldn't do nothing.
- 39:03So for them to say, hey, you don't have a a muscle, I mean,
- 39:08you don't have a bone disease, you got a muscle disease, you've
- 39:12got polymyositis. All right, what anti synthetase
- 39:17syndrome? So that that shortens the life
- 39:19right there and interstitial lung disease, right.
- 39:23And basically what I have, it means that my lungs will go out
- 39:31and, and right now, if I went to the doctor, if I went to
- 39:35hospital, they're all white. Right now, they're all white.
- 39:39They're about, they're gone, They're gods.
- 39:42So that's what I'm saying, the power of God.
- 39:44That's why I said, you know when you when, when God pulls you
- 39:48through something. You said you said your lungs are
- 39:51white. They're all white.
- 39:54You know, you have. You know when you go, when you
- 39:56go and do ACT scan, Alright. They're black.
- 39:59They're all white, Yeah. They're gone.
- 40:02They're about gone. They're about gone.
- 40:06So that's why I said you come to a point in life when you when
- 40:13you have experienced some real things.
- 40:18Yeah. Yeah.
- 40:18I had made peace. I was like, OK, Lord, you know
- 40:21what? OK, No, I didn't want to die,
- 40:25but I was about I need to get my life right.
- 40:29Right now. I, I, I, I need to focus on God.
- 40:31I need to focus on what he has for me.
- 40:34And, and, and so that that's what I was about then.
- 40:38You know when, especially when, especially when I've been given
- 40:41this last time where they said you'd be lucky if you you go 2
- 40:46years, you know you're going to have to have a double lung
- 40:49transplant. And.
- 40:51That is where it became real for me.
- 40:53That's where it became real. I was like, OK, alright.
- 40:55I, I, I need because, yeah, I need, I need to get on the ball.
- 40:58I need to get on the ball, you know, like, you know, before
- 41:02it's funny. Oh.
- 41:04My God. I used to think about different
- 41:07things like, oh, what am I going to wear?
- 41:09Oh man, I ain't got this. I ain't got the heck with that.
- 41:15Your your your whole object, your whole life changes.
- 41:20Yeah, yeah, yeah. When, when you know, when you're
- 41:23giving, when they're like, hey, you know, you, you're going to
- 41:27be going. We see it, you know, and, and
- 41:30you know what it wasn't like, you know, it was I had like
- 41:34what, 4 hospitals tell me the same thing, including the VA
- 41:39hospital, including the VA, you know, so.
- 41:44You, you are. We call it a walking testimony
- 41:46for sure. So.
- 41:47Yes, for sure. So yeah, I got I got no time.
- 41:51I got time for the the what ifs, the drama that he said she.
- 41:55I got time for that. I got time for that.
- 41:58All right, thank you so much for being open and sharing with our
- 42:01community. I pray that some veterans who
- 42:03are dealing with their own, you know, health complications,
- 42:07secondary health complications of their service or those
- 42:09inherited genes that were born with or, or the, or the
- 42:12environments that trigger those genes, right, So that we find
- 42:16peace in these conversations that they hear from us.
- 42:18So thank you again for sharing. That and, and, and, you know, I,
- 42:21I want to offer myself, like I said, you know, you know, I, I
- 42:25want to offer my services, meaning, you know, for veterans
- 42:29out there who are struggling with various things and help and
- 42:34they are not sure how to file their claim or they're not sure
- 42:37what to do, you know, Yeah. You know, you know, don't give
- 42:42up. Don't give up.
- 42:43You know, don't give up. No, don't give up at all.
- 42:46Thank you. Thank you for that.
- 42:47All right, ladies and gentlemen, this is the Frondoze show right
- 42:50here on the military broadcast radio network.
- 42:52We're streaming live. We're on Roku TV, Facebook,
- 42:55Youtubes. I mean, you know this what it is
- 42:57when you're streaming live, you got to be able to deal with all
- 43:00of the technical difficulties. I might be sweating over here,
- 43:03but never let them see you sweat.
- 43:05And this is what? And I'm freezing.
- 43:08So we're going to get back into this episode with my guy.
- 43:13Ariana. See, he's cool.
- 43:14Today you. Cool man.
- 43:17Oh yeah, he. That is, that's it.
- 43:19That was the enemy. He he entered, he infiltrated my
- 43:22phone, shut it down. I went all black screen and I
- 43:25said, you know what, consider all joy when you go through
- 43:28various trials of tribulations for the test of your face.
- 43:31Breathe patients that patients have this perfect word for you
- 43:34shall be perfect and completely black and nothing.
- 43:36So I'm still sitting here with a smile like I'm back again.
- 43:39You tried, it didn't work. Let's take it from the top, man.
- 43:52There's so much going on. We've discussed two weeks ago,
- 43:56week before last, right? We kicked off this conversation
- 43:59here with the ego and easing, we call it easing God out at my
- 44:04church, you know, and now you, you're bringing another
- 44:07conversation. That's very important because we
- 44:09don't even realize how powerful our language and our
- 44:12conversations are, right? And and how I look at it as as
- 44:16sometimes we're even sincere with our language, right?
- 44:20But we do manipulate, we control by dominant with our language
- 44:25too. So what had you create this this
- 44:28segment for this week for the topic member?
- 44:31But I started, man, what I started realizing was that I
- 44:38learned this from a friend of mine.
- 44:39Actually, she was, she was me and her were hanging out and OK,
- 44:45I crush. I, I'm a dude, I'm going to
- 44:47crush. I'm a single dude.
- 44:49I'm going to crush. She's beautiful.
- 44:51So I'm going to crush. I don't know any man.
- 44:54I, I was crushing, you know, I don't know any man that's not
- 44:57going to crush. I mean, if a man is not going to
- 44:59crush that a man I, I got a question.
- 45:01What's going on with him? Well, it says kindergarten.
- 45:04The extra chocolate milk. That extra chocolate milk.
- 45:08If I had met her back when he was in kindergarten, I would
- 45:11have talked to the lady to give me the whole crate full of
- 45:13chocolate milk and I would have brought it to it.
- 45:15Like you have all the chocolate milk you want.
- 45:16I got it for you. That's exactly how that goes.
- 45:20But see, the concept of what I've understood from her was
- 45:23understanding this conversation and the right displays of
- 45:26affection, a displays of reflection.
- 45:29You still have to let God do His time when building relationships
- 45:32and connections, regardless of you cool at night.
- 45:36It doesn't matter if it's a lady or a man.
- 45:38It doesn't matter if it's a romantic relationship or it's a
- 45:40relationship at all, or in fact it's just a friendship, politic,
- 45:43connection. It doesn't matter.
- 45:45The thing is, we have to understand how to lead a
- 45:49conversation. If you're using enticement to
- 45:52lead your conversation, you're not being yourself.
- 45:55You're promoting propaganda. You're promoting your ideas.
- 45:59You are now stuck in that mode where you're not being yourself
- 46:02when naturally you leave the spirit of conversation.
- 46:05You just have a conversation. Like what we're right now, we're
- 46:08having a conversation. Yeah, it's just a simple
- 46:11conversation. So.
- 46:13But if I need to get something from you now I'm about to turn
- 46:17into strategies of enticement so I can get it out of you because
- 46:24now I want something or I am going to go on the head and
- 46:28let's just say me and you disagree to a point.
- 46:31You disagree. Now I'm going to go on ahead and
- 46:33use persuasive power and mechanisms and well, why don't
- 46:36you just try to see it from this angle?
- 46:38Oh, why did you try to see it from my angle here?
- 46:40Oh, why did you try when you already said no the first time?
- 46:44I understand a person must be persistent.
- 46:47But once you said no the second time, that's what you want to
- 46:49just unless it's a really a stress pressure sales call or
- 46:53some crazy stuff, you kind of want to just back off.
- 46:57Yeah. And then let the person have
- 46:59their mindset to know it's OK, then ask more questions, right.
- 47:04And that's OK to say that not everybody's going to think like
- 47:07you. Yeah.
- 47:08So don't get mad at the people that don't think like you,
- 47:12disrespect what they think like. And maybe you could Corp how
- 47:15they're thinking on to you if you choose to or not.
- 47:18So instead of taking it, it's a it's a phrase called eat the
- 47:23meat and spit out the bones, right?
- 47:25That's any conversation. So, so far.
- 47:28I find like many people, especially in the spiritual
- 47:31community, they kind of like feed the meat and make the choke
- 47:34on the bones too. So they forcing the bones down
- 47:36their throat along with the meat.
- 47:38What does that? Look.
- 47:39What does that look like in real time if I had to see?
- 47:42Some real time what does? That look like in real time.
- 47:45In real time, you're going to see a person doing that by
- 47:47saying, yo, man, I understand, you understand the sky is blue.
- 47:51But you know what, man? The sky is actually black.
- 47:53It's sort of blue because it's a Dome around it.
- 47:56And it's only a Dome around it because you know, there is the
- 47:59the firmament that's around the earth.
- 48:01That's what keeps us breathing. Well, wait a minute, dog.
- 48:03God made the no man, No, you got to understand this.
- 48:06Yo, listen, listen, listen. It's a firmament, man.
- 48:08I was like, well, God made no, no, look.
- 48:10And it's like I never do. God man, this got something to
- 48:12do that is considered making a person force down the meat and
- 48:15the balls. So you're trying to take the
- 48:18stuff that they don't disagree with and make them swallow it
- 48:21just so you can get the stuff that you do agree with down on
- 48:23their end. In other words, if you're
- 48:25dominated. And I have.
- 48:26I'm still learning this as I speak, but I've forgotten way
- 48:29better at understanding so let me ask.
- 48:32You let me ask you a question then, because I'm I'm, I'm, I'm
- 48:36listening to you and I'm looking in my life for these
- 48:38conversations. What what's what do you think is
- 48:42behind the dominating approach? Do you?
- 48:47Think you still? Connect is it trying to?
- 48:49Is it? But is it you trying to be
- 48:51connected to the person forcefully?
- 48:53Like is is there a belonging? What?
- 48:55What is what Is that an opinion? Yes.
- 48:57Is your opinion that important to be heard?
- 49:00What do you think? You basically, This is why, This
- 49:02is why I call it. I say it's in in the form of
- 49:04witchcraft when people do it, because what you do is you're
- 49:07trying to control the person to bend to your will.
- 49:12To some kind of an outcome or to some kind of agreement?
- 49:15Whatever purpose is in that person's head.
- 49:17In other words, that person. In your head, right?
- 49:19We had to be, whatever your intentions.
- 49:21Are right, it has to be whatever my intentions are, but it has to
- 49:24be something dealing with the selfishness of myself.
- 49:27In other words, something to inflate me, something to make me
- 49:31bigger. In other words, you have a lot
- 49:33of narcissistic attitudes. With that, you have a lot of
- 49:35people who are idolizing themselves a lot vanity.
- 49:39These things are forced into where those conversations turn
- 49:43out like that because they're not taking time to look at God
- 49:46in the situation. They're not taking time to
- 49:49surrender their ego to understand, let the Spirit
- 49:52shine. And in other reverse worlds,
- 49:55it's because people are scared to let themselves shine, so they
- 49:58hide behind their egos and let the ego speak for them now.
- 50:02And in that case I want to. Ask Melinda.
- 50:06Do you got anything you hear, Melinda, do you want to chime in
- 50:08from from from your perspective or are you?
- 50:10You're good. No, I, I mean, I, I'm good.
- 50:13I, I understand exactly what summarize is saying.
- 50:18I, I, I completely agree. You know, you know, you also
- 50:22have to look at it. The fact that too, where does it
- 50:24come from? You know, where, where does that
- 50:27come from? You know, is it, is it from the
- 50:29parents? Is it from the, you know, the
- 50:30womb, you know, where, where does that, where does that come
- 50:33from? And like, like samurai saying
- 50:35who they're trying to be, you know, what that what that person
- 50:39is trying to be. And like you said, some people
- 50:41don't want to show the real, their real selves as well.
- 50:46So yeah, I I got you. The speech from place of damage.
- 50:51See, now we're talking. We've spoke about trauma, but
- 50:54now we're speaking about damage. You're on mute, my friend.
- 51:00So with oh, OK, so we're talking about the trauma part is
- 51:04basically people won't face their trauma.
- 51:07So they went around with their damage and then the trauma keeps
- 51:10causing more damage because they keep reliving the trauma instead
- 51:12of facing the trauma, eliminating it from the root.
- 51:15So with that in mind, they're not being their true selves
- 51:18because the what caused the trauma is exactly what the
- 51:21trauma caused is exactly what the person made the person get
- 51:25into defense mode to create that ego.
- 51:29As me and him was talking a couple weeks ago about childhood
- 51:32when your heart got broken, boy, you swole up now.
- 51:36Now my heart is never going to get broken again.
- 51:39You was you you you dropped your candy bar and you're crying
- 51:43about it now. You extra careful with the candy
- 51:45bar that you got next time and you don't put it in a basket in
- 51:48the case. And now you older grown and
- 51:51you're still wrapping up your candy bar and carrying extra
- 51:55holding on to something that happened to you in the past.
- 51:58So these things are what we build around us right now.
- 52:01The ego is nothing but a false shell that we built around us
- 52:05putting our real cells inside this egg that needs to be
- 52:08hatched. So just imagine.
- 52:13So this about. I'm listen.
- 52:16So just imagine the overgrown chicken trying to hatch out of
- 52:19an egg. Do you see what I'm saying?
- 52:23And they can't imagine a big huge chicken fully grown,
- 52:27stuffed inside a egg. You're killing yourself.
- 52:31You're smothering yourself. So that's what the ego does over
- 52:34time. That's the reason why in the
- 52:36word, we want to be able to understand that whatever voids,
- 52:39whatever problems that we're, that we're feeling the scars,
- 52:42the the wounds, the word heals those wounds.
- 52:47God will comfort you in those times of mourning.
- 52:49God will place a way for you to have rest because now you're not
- 52:53smashed up no more because God is expanding your aid to the
- 52:56point where it'll hats correctly.
- 52:59I got. I got a question for you.
- 53:00I got a question for you. Let's let where we go.
- 53:03Can we go three ways over here? Where do you go?
- 53:06So you. Go three ways higher than you
- 53:08want. It we talk, we're talking.
- 53:09About we. We talking about people, right?
- 53:12And, and we're talking about and, and we're talking about
- 53:16meeting people where they're at, right?
- 53:18Right. So from, from a way to listen to
- 53:26someone, if, if you have, if you have developed your listening
- 53:31skills, I can, I can listen to people and I can tell when
- 53:34they're describing life, right? Versus saying that what's
- 53:37happening, actually what's happening.
- 53:40And I know that I can ask more questions to pull out more
- 53:42information, or I could listen to their tone, your choice of
- 53:46words, right? So if you, if you're in a
- 53:49situation where you're being, you feel like you're being
- 53:51controlled and dominated by a person who's having a
- 53:53conversation, you're pushing their agenda on you because it,
- 53:56this is real life, right? This is what's happening right
- 53:58now. How do you meet that person
- 54:02who's not ready to talk about what what Christ said, God said
- 54:05you got to do this because that could also turn that person's
- 54:09ears off and they're listening to you and go straight to the
- 54:12word first without meeting them where they are.
- 54:16And what their? Beliefs are right.
- 54:18So I know we, we, we all three of us here, we can relate to
- 54:21that. But those people who are
- 54:22listening? To our show.
- 54:24Who? Not in that space right now and
- 54:26they. Experiencing.
- 54:27These conversations with somebody, how would you meet
- 54:30that person, you know? For you I knew.
- 54:32What I would do, but what would you do?
- 54:34To meet that. Person if if you on the other
- 54:36side of that person, that's. OK, I do this all the time.
- 54:41All right, being on the other side.
- 54:42I've been on the other side before, so I know it's not
- 54:44comfortable. And definitely I know when
- 54:46people started doing that with me, weaponizing the words,
- 54:48smacking me over my head, tell me what I need to do, it turned
- 54:51me completely off. And I would just simply dismiss
- 54:54the conversation and walk away as a done deal.
- 54:56I've walked away from churches because they have done that kind
- 54:59of stuff in the way they formed their ministries.
- 55:02And like I said, you know my history, I've been gone for 22
- 55:05years from ministry and now this is my first time back from being
- 55:09gone 22 years from walking away from Jesus because I thought
- 55:13Jesus was religious. But the one thing is, is that
- 55:16it's in Proverbs also, it's software.
- 55:18A software, a soft answer turns away wrath.
- 55:22The thing is, is that I meet them where they at, but I don't
- 55:26compromise where they at, where I'm at to meet them where they
- 55:30at, Yeah. Where you are right I.
- 55:31Meet them where they at. It's OK, right?
- 55:33I meet them where they at, Where I'm at.
- 55:35I'll, I'll meet you. I'll come to your house.
- 55:37I'll be in your environment and I'll be chilling because I'm
- 55:40already protected by the blood and I'm already protected by
- 55:42God. So it doesn't phase me.
- 55:43Nothing because I know where my walk is.
- 55:46But I don't have to say that to put you down neither I don't
- 55:51have to say that to crush your spirit even further because you
- 55:54already hurt me. So why would I come out of my
- 55:57body and try to make myself superior to you just because I
- 56:01found something that might work for you and it could help you
- 56:04with your answer? Let me still be myself in my
- 56:07spirit is saying act like that doesn't even exist for a second.
- 56:12Let's go to your world and now let's talk about what you're
- 56:15going through. Now.
- 56:16I'm empathetic with you. If I could relate to it, I'm
- 56:19empathetic with you. I'm showing you empathy, not
- 56:22sympathy, because sympathy puts the person in a place of
- 56:26superiority over the other person.
- 56:28So it says in Romans 14 one, so, and I will pull it up in black
- 56:34and white too, Romans 14 one, it says that for those who are
- 56:37weaker in the faith that we are to embrace them, not turn them
- 56:40away, That's what. I'm that's what I'm saying,
- 56:42because I learned, I learned in my second round, like you coming
- 56:45back to church, that I even in my walks the last seven years, I
- 56:50could cause another brother or sister to stumble that are
- 56:54weaker than me. And I'm like, I could do, I
- 56:56mean, I could do that. That's a responsibility.
- 56:59It became as a responsibility. Melinda, you want anything you
- 57:01want to? Yeah, I, I, you know, what I
- 57:03want to say to you is I remember right before I started the non,
- 57:10you know, I was in the beginning stage of starting the nonprofit
- 57:13and I'll never forget, you know, I had a thought of like, OK, I'm
- 57:17going to, I'm going to start the nonprofit where people so they
- 57:21could be plant based. And, and because I had learned a
- 57:25lot of things, you know, with when you have autoimmune
- 57:27diseases, you got to be very careful with inflammation, OK.
- 57:30And so I was like, I'm going to do this, you know, for plant
- 57:34based and all that. And I remember God came to me.
- 57:37I'm telling you, it's clear as I mean, just crystal clear.
- 57:40And he said, my child is not about them.
- 57:45It's not about the food, he said.
- 57:47It's about it's about me. It's about me.
- 57:51It's not about the food, it's about me.
- 57:53That's what that's what God came to me.
- 57:54And then he said, and then I said, but Lord, how in the world
- 57:59I had this conversation with God?
- 58:01I said, how in the world am I going to get these people to
- 58:04come back to you? You know, to, to, to and he told
- 58:08me, he said it will be your character.
- 58:12And we have to look. At it like this.
- 58:13You know, you say it'll be your character that draws the people
- 58:17back to me. So if I.
- 58:18Have the right. Character.
- 58:20A mind like Christ. If I have Christ in me, you.
- 58:23Ain't got to tell us. You ain't got to do.
- 58:25This you got to. Do that you got to do none of
- 58:28that they. Excuse me?
- 58:30They will see the God. Holy Spirit activate.
- 58:35Holy Spirit, activate. When?
- 58:40You, Holy Spirit, activate. I, I've learned, I've learned
- 58:43being back at church, some of the stuff that we, we especially
- 58:46from the word, you got to catch that in the spirit.
- 58:48Your our carnal mind can't understand the word.
- 58:51It wants to so much, but we got to catch the word in the spirit
- 58:56realm. And when you catch it like that,
- 58:59I felt that because that's what he told me, the same thing.
- 59:01In my own. Version.
- 59:03Like, no, it's. Not even about the.
- 59:06Food on my end. I'm watching all of you on the
- 59:10floor. I was just talking to that with
- 59:11my cousin about how we don't need to say anything.
- 59:15We already got our passes and our apostles to speak in roof
- 59:18and war a hollow over the pulpit.
- 59:20What we need to do is start shooting mortars that our
- 59:22characters to our talents and through our gifts speak the same
- 59:26message to back them up and that will show it.
- 59:28Like right now me and him are unifier and we're coming
- 59:31together, making projects and we're coming together.
- 59:33I just gave him out of my song library.
- 59:35Now his play is complete to unity.
- 59:38But the whole point is when my apostle was speaking about it
- 59:41last night on Bible study, that's why I said Holy Spirit
- 59:43activate because they weren't getting it.
- 59:46They were like, well, you know this, you know, they, it was
- 59:49like going out. I could tell it was going and
- 59:51wearing out the other. But then again, I said now it's
- 59:53time to start putting into action because like my apostle
- 59:56said, he said there are three forms to a miracle to make a
- 59:59miracle manifest that happen. He said you got to have first
- 1:00:01the giver, the receiver, then you have to have the believer.
- 1:00:05And now if you got the giver, if you got the giver.
- 1:00:08And the receiver, obviously they're both believers because
- 1:00:11one believes enough to give it and the other one believes
- 1:00:14enough to accept it and receive it.
- 1:00:15So therefore that's where it connects it.
- 1:00:17So the receiver and the believers between two believers.
- 1:00:20That's why it says it 2 and a miss with two are in agreement.
- 1:00:24I am a miss. So in other words, meaning that
- 1:00:27and then what is also understand is the concept that it even
- 1:00:30manifests in you because God works within you out.
- 1:00:33My apostle said according to the Scripture and this goes into
- 1:00:37what I'm learning the class also according to the scripture in
- 1:00:40Matthew. It says that the prayer up to
- 1:00:44God back then at the time that Jesus was walking in alive.
- 1:00:47He said art thy Father's art in heaven hallowed the hallowed,
- 1:00:52hallowed thy be thy name right, right.
- 1:00:55What about now? Because since Jesus is dead and
- 1:00:57he said you got Christ in you and God is in you now we said,
- 1:01:03oh Father, that is in me. How loud the hollow DB thy name
- 1:01:08The thing is, is that it? Change after Christ after Christ
- 1:01:12ascended. Everything as in transition
- 1:01:14exactly they don't. The thing is the education of
- 1:01:18understanding Hebrews and eight and understand the covenant
- 1:01:20change understand that he fulfilled it with his death.
- 1:01:23Understanding all of these things that has been stated.
- 1:01:26We have to know that what it is said.
- 1:01:28It's time for us to start putting into use and start
- 1:01:31reutilizing tradition, which is old school people.
- 1:01:35I, I love my elders, I love my big Mamas.
- 1:01:38I love my Mama. I love my daddy's Mama.
- 1:01:40I love them all. I love them all because they are
- 1:01:43beautiful that God put them here.
- 1:01:44But here's the thing, you can't do like they did in the past.
- 1:01:47They were trying to teach us like it was a book.
- 1:01:50Yeah. This is not just a book.
- 1:01:53This is a tune principle. It's a tune going to be used.
- 1:01:57By the. Word principle.
- 1:01:59There's a book. There's a certain type of book
- 1:02:01that's called a tomb. Now I'm going to show you the
- 1:02:04resemblance. You know what a tomb is?
- 1:02:06A tomb is where a person lays to rest and has their belongings
- 1:02:10and everything in it. Their life is inside that tomb,
- 1:02:13right? This is why the book is original
- 1:02:16version of what they call a tomb.
- 1:02:19Jesus life is not the only life in their tomb.
- 1:02:22It's his lineage. This is in the tomb.
- 1:02:24It's his genealogy that's in the tomb, but it's also His word
- 1:02:28that is going forth, the word spiritual genealogy that's going
- 1:02:32forth in the future in this tomb of books because the books are
- 1:02:3866 books, so each one is an individual book.
- 1:02:42Now, mind you, if you study correctly, each one of these
- 1:02:45books is 100 to 1000 years apart from each other in the order
- 1:02:49that is written. So it's these things are over
- 1:02:53the course of time, right. That all line up.
- 1:02:57So you can't teach it like it's a structured book.
- 1:03:01I can go to a math book. I can go to a English book and
- 1:03:04teach it like it's a book. But the word is alive.
- 1:03:08Yeah, because of that, that, that space in between.
- 1:03:12So let me. So let me ask you this.
- 1:03:13Let me ask you the Melinda, you can answer this question too,
- 1:03:16because the word is alive, right?
- 1:03:20Depending on what matters to you in the moment that you're in the
- 1:03:23space to read that book, it might take you to all parts of
- 1:03:26your life at any given time. Oh well.
- 1:03:30Because it's not. It's not I.
- 1:03:31Got one for you. It's so hilarious because.
- 1:03:33It's not linear. So if I'm dealing with
- 1:03:36strongholds and anger, the Holy Spirit is going to lead me to
- 1:03:39the stuff that I need to learn about for that it.
- 1:03:42Could be. That season of of me to go.
- 1:03:44Through that's right with. My anger, that could be a five
- 1:03:47year process, that could be. AII know how long.
- 1:03:50That season is. Yeah, I I think it's amazing.
- 1:03:52That's why it's alive. Go.
- 1:03:55Ahead, I think it's amazing how you can read something in the
- 1:03:57Bible and at that particular time it might not hit you, but
- 1:04:02let's say later on in life when you're actually going through
- 1:04:06what you're reading about, you like, whoa.
- 1:04:10There it is, right there you've. Read it before, but this time is
- 1:04:13different. It's just different, you know,
- 1:04:16and I think that's what's I think that's what's powerful.
- 1:04:18I always say, you know, when I'm reading scripture, I always say,
- 1:04:21Lord, you know, show me what you got there.
- 1:04:24Yeah, those. Lyrics.
- 1:04:27No, these aren't lyrics. This is actually Bible
- 1:04:29journaling. OK, OK.
- 1:04:31I was connecting scripture to scripture to scripture to
- 1:04:33scripture based on the footnotes in my NKJV version, right?
- 1:04:38Check this out. I'm going to keep flip.
- 1:04:39I'm going to flip through the pages.
- 1:04:41This was me doing it constantly in me thought right and me
- 1:04:46thought right, and me thought and me thought while still doing
- 1:04:50it, and me thoughts while I was still doing it.
- 1:04:52It was just going. Holy Spirit was leading me.
- 1:04:55These are all pathways, right? I was doing good.
- 1:05:00I'm about to show you where I found out how the Word was
- 1:05:02alive. I found out the hard way.
- 1:05:05I said, God, I wouldn't study you.
- 1:05:06I'm going to study what you really trying to tell us and I'm
- 1:05:08going to try to connect these scriptures together to get a
- 1:05:10different message because I know you're telling us something.
- 1:05:13And God said, OK, go on ahead. This is my tower bell moment.
- 1:05:17He said go ahead. Now mind you, I'm still flipping
- 1:05:19right and I'm still flipping right.
- 1:05:22I look at where he's taking me. I get all types of random
- 1:05:24scripture. If I'll try to read this right
- 1:05:26now, I wouldn't know what pathway I was on anymore because
- 1:05:28the men thought he shut it down while I was writing wait and
- 1:05:32here and actually kept doing it actually.
- 1:05:35Well, I'm trying to figure out what you was trying to tell.
- 1:05:38It's like I'm really trying to get it.
- 1:05:39And then finally, well, look what happened.
- 1:05:42Look what happened. Redirection error.
- 1:05:47All right, I'm going to try it again.
- 1:05:48I said. I got over back to Genesis 11.
- 1:05:51I did it again, right? I started going through.
- 1:05:53I started going through. I got to John 1030 redirection
- 1:05:57error. So I did it again.
- 1:05:59I said I was trying, I was trying.
- 1:06:05I was trying to link every scripture of what God was trying
- 1:06:08to tell us in a complete understanding context as one
- 1:06:12long voice right out of all these 66 books and scriptures.
- 1:06:17And I kept trying to do it. And I did it again.
- 1:06:19And he, I stopped after, I think after this one, I think I
- 1:06:22stopped because I realized God was like, now you now you're
- 1:06:26getting, you're making me irritated because you ain't
- 1:06:28understanding what I'm trying to tell you.
- 1:06:30And I was like, OK, well, God. Yeah.
- 1:06:32And he shut it down. And then when he realized, when
- 1:06:35I realized he, he told me right there.
- 1:06:37He said, because I'm not a book, I'm alive.
- 1:06:40Every word that came out in this book printing is all it is alive
- 1:06:46because you're going to you get a different meaning.
- 1:06:47You're going to get a different pathway.
- 1:06:49You're going to use rewiring your brain.
- 1:06:51Why? Because when you look at the if
- 1:06:53you look at the word in itself, and I was just telling this to
- 1:06:55somebody last night, when you look at the word in itself.
- 1:06:59And I'm trying to find the last redirection where I just gave up
- 1:07:02and I'm not doing it no more. And this time, Oh, well, sorry,
- 1:07:06here we go. There you go.
- 1:07:07Redirection again. Because I got lost, so I had to
- 1:07:11do it again. I went back to Genesis 11 again.
- 1:07:14Look, he did it to me again. Redirection.
- 1:07:17I keep trying to show it because people don't understand like,
- 1:07:19well, you know, it's the book. The book is.
- 1:07:22And then it stopped again. I'm done.
- 1:07:23I got a question. I.
- 1:07:24Was going to say so when you're going to be obedient.
- 1:07:28No, I was obedient. Notice I haven't no wait
- 1:07:34redirection. Well, I could, I could because
- 1:07:36every, every time I write down redirections, I was like, I'm
- 1:07:39going to go ahead and put a rope right here and I'm going to try
- 1:07:41to do this again. We're going to go back to jail.
- 1:07:44And each scripture after redirection was a different
- 1:07:46scripture. He taught me the hard way.
- 1:07:49Now I will tell you why you taught me the hard way.
- 1:07:51Are you ready for this one? If I if I wish I could do a
- 1:07:54whole presentation with a slide video so you can see it.
- 1:07:58But have you seen your brain? Have you ever seen your brain
- 1:08:01operate before? Like have you ever seen that
- 1:08:03like a cagey scan in your brain? How is operating?
- 1:08:06Like maybe doing a soup study or something?
- 1:08:08Neurons firing. Yeah.
- 1:08:10All right. So, yeah, that's what I'm
- 1:08:12talking about. Well, this is God's brain, and
- 1:08:14he said stop tampering with it because his neurons firing.
- 1:08:18Do you see what I'm saying? Every single time.
- 1:08:20That's the reason why he's talking about the mind and the
- 1:08:22heart and every single time. And then the Bible is literally
- 1:08:25printed to be a web of connections of his thought of
- 1:08:31you and what you're supposed to do with him.
- 1:08:35So your relationship it could. Be that scripture could be for
- 1:08:38anger it could be for upset it. Could be for that one it.
- 1:08:41Could be anything for. For that, for that person who's
- 1:08:44reading it right in that moment, for them that.
- 1:08:48Moment exactly. So that's why he says be
- 1:08:51renewed. He says be transformed or
- 1:08:53renewed in your mind. So when I thought about that
- 1:08:58said, well, that's how he's doing it.
- 1:08:59That's why we in our word. It's not just his word, it's his
- 1:09:02brain, it's his mind. So his mind is being a part of
- 1:09:06our mind. So his thoughts are greater than
- 1:09:12that. Exactly So what I understood
- 1:09:15that again my I was in class for my prophetic class and I love my
- 1:09:18apostle so much. I love my apostle for teaching
- 1:09:21me and I love her sister in Christ who is also long time ago
- 1:09:26delivered me from my life out of my rage.
- 1:09:28And I get shouts out to the both of them Apostle eunuch because
- 1:09:30she is very much a powerful woman of God and she is a true
- 1:09:33prophet like without a joke. She doesn't play no games.
- 1:09:36And I give shouts out to my my my spiritual auntie, Pastor
- 1:09:41Darlene, Doctor Darlene Bryant, who my cousin is her son and we
- 1:09:45all sit here chilling. I really, and I give her props
- 1:09:50because if it wasn't for her, it wasn't for God speaking to me to
- 1:09:54join her class, I wouldn't have realized this, this moment of
- 1:09:57revelation, the word is what's recorded.
- 1:10:02And this is what I heard from from Apostle unit.
- 1:10:05The word is what's recorded. Just because Revelation is
- 1:10:11printed and recorded and the last page is there doesn't mean
- 1:10:15that God stopped talking. So God is still talking right
- 1:10:20now that people stop writing. So that's the reason why I'm
- 1:10:26able to come to you with these things about words of enticement
- 1:10:29and able to stare because this is still Scripture.
- 1:10:33It's still coming from the root of the word that's recording.
- 1:10:36But also there are other styles and other areas, other
- 1:10:40directions, because time has moved forward since the book has
- 1:10:44been finished or completed for that each.
- 1:10:47Each one of us is getting testimony to continue the word
- 1:10:50by delivering the message that we've got from the mess from the
- 1:10:53word. And that's how the Holy Spirit,
- 1:10:54the word, there you go, and that's the Holy Spirit because
- 1:10:58it's the Spirit of prophecy. It doesn't never stop.
- 1:11:01And the whole thing with that, it never stops.
- 1:11:04So when I'm going back into understanding this, this is what
- 1:11:06I was trying to explain about leaning into your own
- 1:11:09understanding, which is a form of enticing yourself.
- 1:11:13When you have the power of the Word and you're in the
- 1:11:15prophetic, you have to still be humble before God.
- 1:11:19You can't step in front of Him and you can't step beside Him.
- 1:11:21You can't step behind Him. You have to walk with Him.
- 1:11:25If you're not walking with Him, that's why it's two sets of
- 1:11:28footprints right beside you, because he's walking with you
- 1:11:31and you're walking with Him. That's the intimate relationship
- 1:11:33between you and God. But you know you.
- 1:11:36Know what I heard you say? Though you know what I heard you
- 1:11:37say, though? We was we.
- 1:11:38This is the military network. This is we're military.
- 1:11:42God bless. Sometimes.
- 1:11:44Sometimes that title get in the way.
- 1:11:49Does it not Then go your enticement?
- 1:11:53Then go your enticement, your heart?
- 1:11:55That's why James Yes heart. Posture and all that.
- 1:11:58So. Sometimes even.
- 1:11:59Apostle title or prophet title, They're still people.
- 1:12:02Oh yeah, sometimes. Those titles?
- 1:12:07Well, let's go back into the time since we're on the military
- 1:12:09broadcasting network, let's hit it in the form of the military
- 1:12:12brackets. And I'm not even a Marine, but I
- 1:12:14love my Marine. So I'm going to say.
- 1:12:17But here, here's the thing. The thing is, is that let's go
- 1:12:20back to those times in the Vietnam War where they let their
- 1:12:23titles in their positions go to their head and they started
- 1:12:25killing innocent civilians instead of the target that there
- 1:12:28was supposed to be ordered. There was some Marines that went
- 1:12:30a while that they had to go to the firing squad because they
- 1:12:33rejected their commands because they let the title get in the
- 1:12:38way. Everybody could be in tights
- 1:12:42even no matter what. Exactly.
- 1:12:44Stoppers in law enforcement, yes, because whenever you are,
- 1:12:49whenever you are, hard posture shifts to what you think you
- 1:12:53deserve. And you don't put God first
- 1:12:56automatically you lost the fight.
- 1:12:58Military, our military, our police officers, they all say,
- 1:13:02well, you know, they, they, the government founded they,
- 1:13:05they're, they're evil. They're trying to oppress us.
- 1:13:07No, they're not. I'm going to tell you right now,
- 1:13:09if you didn't have law and order, you'll be more afraid.
- 1:13:12If you didn't have law, order or military, you'd be way more
- 1:13:15afraid. Why I love my why I love my
- 1:13:18veterans and I'll hug even each and every one of them, whether
- 1:13:21they mean or whether they nice. Because I can tell you right
- 1:13:23now, if they didn't go over there and drop them nukes, bust
- 1:13:26up the Iods came over there with the M fours and M sixteens.
- 1:13:29They eradicated the terrorists before they came over here to
- 1:13:32our soil. There would be a problem.
- 1:13:34Oh. Yeah.
- 1:13:35Seriously, we have a National Guard for a reason.
- 1:13:39Exactly. But that's the whole point.
- 1:13:41Because there are. The reason why we take oaths is
- 1:13:44because we take oaths under God. So let's so let's go there.
- 1:13:48So let's so so so. Go ahead.
- 1:13:50Let's go down that street. We're here.
- 1:13:51We're. We're we're military National
- 1:13:54Guard AGR so now that I now now that I understand that I'm
- 1:13:58retired right and I still have my rake as my identity.
- 1:14:01I get to keep that I earned that started the first class.
- 1:14:04Forever. Yes, you did.
- 1:14:05Yes, Sir. However, now that I'm a Kingdom
- 1:14:07citizen, I understand that I don't fight wars as a Kingdom
- 1:14:11citizen. No, you don't fight wars.
- 1:14:14Will you fight wars? The thing about it is this is
- 1:14:17where they messed up at. That goes through U.S. history.
- 1:14:19That's another conversation. Maybe we'll make that the next
- 1:14:21topic so we can start breaking these generational national
- 1:14:24curses on the US of A soil, because a lot of people don't
- 1:14:28understand the concept of what America originally was before
- 1:14:32America was warped into what it was after 1776.
- 1:14:35But I'm not going to go all deep into that because I could go on
- 1:14:37forever for that one. We'll be here for five hours and
- 1:14:39I'll give you a whole crash course lesson in U.S. history
- 1:14:42that people did not know and they didn't teach us in high
- 1:14:45school, in college. My point is, in United States,
- 1:14:51the citizens don't fight wars. The National Guard reserve fight
- 1:14:55wars. So if I'm a Kingdom citizen,
- 1:14:58what I what what's, what gave me, my piece of my mind was that
- 1:15:02when I became a Kingdom citizen, yeah, I put on the armor, I and
- 1:15:08I go stand and pray. I don't go fight the angels, go
- 1:15:11I, the angels go fight the wars in the spirit realm.
- 1:15:13I don't fight wars. But we still have tradition.
- 1:15:16But that's what I'm looking to do.
- 1:15:18But, you know, wait a minute, wait a minute.
- 1:15:20I mean, isn't that what Ephesians 610 is all about?
- 1:15:23That's put on your. ARM sure is so.
- 1:15:26We put yeah. And people.
- 1:15:27Used to fight against flesh and blood.
- 1:15:29Right, we put it right. But a powerful principality?
- 1:15:32Yes. That's right.
- 1:15:34We put it in high places, yeah. We put it.
- 1:15:36In the spirit realm. The.
- 1:15:39Angels go fight those. Battles two different worlds,
- 1:15:43right? But.
- 1:15:44We talk like. In the you, not in our world,
- 1:15:49it's a. Different, No, it's a different
- 1:15:51realm of that, but it's also when you're that's in the
- 1:15:54prophetic realm and that's in the realm of the spirit.
- 1:15:56The one thing about it is when you're in the spiritual realm,
- 1:15:59prayer is the one thing, but there's also revelation that you
- 1:16:02get throughout the prayer that God will teach you how to line
- 1:16:04yourself up to be there for the blessing and for the victory.
- 1:16:07And that's one thing about it is the for every soldier that came
- 1:16:10back unharmed, for every soldier such as a sufferer and such as a
- 1:16:13self Belinda for every soldier that came back unharmed because
- 1:16:17they were protected by angels, because they were fighting in
- 1:16:19both realm and in spirit. You see what I'm saying?
- 1:16:22Physical realm and I know my. Mom, Perez was over there bro,
- 1:16:25so I got. Right.
- 1:16:26Because somebody was playing. And that's the whole thing about
- 1:16:28it when we look at it. And we go back to the times,
- 1:16:33when you go back to the times of Jerusalem, the times of the
- 1:16:35tribes of Judah, and you go back to the times of David.
- 1:16:38Do you think they're wives and their children weren't praying
- 1:16:40for them? They prayed every night that
- 1:16:41they got up. They prayed every morning they
- 1:16:43woke up when they saw Goliath, they were praying.
- 1:16:45That's why they didn't move because they were too busy
- 1:16:46praying. Like God, strike this drive.
- 1:16:48Strike this giant down, please. Or send somebody because really
- 1:16:52fighting no giant, Right. And then what happened?
- 1:16:54David came down there and David was anointed.
- 1:16:56But guess what? Those prayers going up, saying,
- 1:16:59Lord, get rid of this giant. Yeah, that way into David, that
- 1:17:03went into David. So David had the power, the
- 1:17:07valor, the strength, the champion.
- 1:17:10He was like, who is this dude disgracing our truck?
- 1:17:13Why are you letting him get out the way?
- 1:17:17You don't know what you do, you know what I'm saying?
- 1:17:19And he goes out there with three rocks and stones.
- 1:17:22Why do you think that was so miraculous?
- 1:17:24Because there was some believers and there was some givers the
- 1:17:27prayers. And then David was the receiver,
- 1:17:30the believer who got the prayers and then to that mention him and
- 1:17:34he came in with the rocks. What you think God did stepped
- 1:17:36right in the middle of that. They pray for this giant to
- 1:17:38drop. OK, so foul, there you go.
- 1:17:41The slingshot went off and it hit the giant and it jacked him.
- 1:17:45So that's the whole point of the concept of seeing how prayer
- 1:17:48works. But we just can't just they just
- 1:17:51can't sit alone and everybody praying.
- 1:17:52Then David came along and said, well let me start praying too.
- 1:17:55No, it was David said OK, it's time to line up and put in the
- 1:17:59work along with y'all praying. I get it.
- 1:18:01But where is your faith at? Because right now Prairie is
- 1:18:04stopping this man from talking, and he's talking every day and
- 1:18:07he's monstrous and I can't let me read.
- 1:18:10That let me read that. What was that?
- 1:18:12Proverbs in Proverbs 10, right? Proverbs 10/19.
- 1:18:16OK, so in the in the amplified it says when when there are many
- 1:18:20words transgression and offense are available.
- 1:18:25Yes, OK, that's your version. That's the translation.
- 1:18:27Beautiful way of saying that. Amplified, that's amplified.
- 1:18:31So let's go ahead and take that. Let's take that transgression
- 1:18:35and offense, offense, right? Offense, offense, OK, are
- 1:18:40available, right? Unavoidable.
- 1:18:43OK, so they're unavoidable when that happens, right?
- 1:18:46It's going to happen because if you keep on talking, right?
- 1:18:49So let's go ahead and go to my version, and I'll go to Proverbs
- 1:18:5210/19 myself because it's probably says that if I'm not
- 1:18:55mistaken, and I'm not. I'm pretty much sure it says
- 1:18:57what I think it says. But I'm going to read it just so
- 1:19:00I don't butcher it because you don't want to butcher the word
- 1:19:02because then he gets sent off wrong and we can't take that
- 1:19:04back. And that's when God going to get
- 1:19:06mad. So I'm going to go to 10/19 on
- 1:19:08my own, right? You said transgression and
- 1:19:11offense is unavoidable with too many words, with multiples of
- 1:19:17the words, right? Unavoidable.
- 1:19:20And a multitude of words. Spin is not lacking.
- 1:19:24OK, oops, excuse me, let's go on ahead.
- 1:19:26Transgression. Transgression and offense is
- 1:19:30unavoidable. So that means that sin, because
- 1:19:36sin is not lacking, sin leads to transgressions, sin leads to
- 1:19:42offense. Alright.
- 1:19:46The gateway of that, the key that opens that up when people
- 1:19:51do too much of this work spirit of operation only come into
- 1:19:55agreement with the with the what?
- 1:19:56What is that? It starts with AP.
- 1:19:58It starts with. AP What word is that?
- 1:20:01The spirit of operation? What pride?
- 1:20:07Where does your eagle feed off of you're plied?
- 1:20:12So it. Goes back to what makes a person
- 1:20:15entice what here's here's a good question.
- 1:20:17And Melinda, you could probably agree with this and I'll use
- 1:20:19this as an example. You're doing your time.
- 1:20:21You're spending your time out with your girlfriends.
- 1:20:23He got all out in the local club.
- 1:20:25Just, you know, children doing your thing.
- 1:20:27And what does this man walk up doing?
- 1:20:29What is the first thing you see in this man?
- 1:20:32He walks up to you with his chest out, right?
- 1:20:34He got his head slicked back or whatever he got going on and
- 1:20:37swag is on point. He got everything down.
- 1:20:39Jewelry smell like sweet perfume, right?
- 1:20:42And he starts what? OK.
- 1:20:47And you can tell by his conversation already that it's
- 1:20:50enticement because the first thing he leads with his
- 1:20:54enticement conversation rather than just leading with himself
- 1:20:57or he doesn't leave with his regular tone.
- 1:21:00He really leads with this macho Hey, my name is, I'm John, I'm
- 1:21:06a. Leo.
- 1:21:08Right. Excuse me, did I ask you what
- 1:21:17you had? Did I ask you about the cause?
- 1:21:19Did I even ask you the name? Right.
- 1:21:20That's the first thing you in your mindset now.
- 1:21:23Now let's change the narrative a little bit, right?
- 1:21:26Here's a guy, he's kind of nervous.
- 1:21:27He's trying to get involved, he's trying to enjoy himself.
- 1:21:30He's out at the same club and he sees you and he sees the God in
- 1:21:36you and he just walks up to you very commonly and just says hi,
- 1:21:40my name is Ariana. What's your name?
- 1:21:44Do you see what I'm saying? See the difference?
- 1:21:47Sure of. Course.
- 1:21:48It's it's the body language, the tone tells you the heart
- 1:21:51posture, because the heart posture cannot lie, not lie.
- 1:21:56That's the reason why you can't pass a pornographic they hook it
- 1:21:58up to you, gone ahead and try. It's not going to happen because
- 1:22:01your heart is in your chest. It's in your chest, your mind.
- 1:22:07Now they won't have to put a whole bunch of scopes on your
- 1:22:10brain and do an EKG scan to see if you lie in your mind.
- 1:22:13But your mind has so much going on they don't have no way of
- 1:22:15tracking it because of random thoughts pop in your mind.
- 1:22:18So that's the reason why you don't have a helmet for a lie
- 1:22:20detector test. They got a heart Doppler, the
- 1:22:23monitoring to check your test right, but the body knows.
- 1:22:29But why does the body know? Because where your heart is, is
- 1:22:31where your soul and your spirit is.
- 1:22:33Yeah, let. Me.
- 1:22:34Ask Melinda. You.
- 1:22:35That's the house. I, I, I, I was, I was, I was
- 1:22:39trying to look up a scripture and I, I do see that I, I don't
- 1:22:45know if it's, I don't know if it's so much my, the heart,
- 1:22:52because the scripture also says the heart is deceiving as well.
- 1:22:58But I do have. The answer there I'm.
- 1:23:00Right, I'm I'm I'm right with you when you know, like you
- 1:23:03said, the body, you know you know what does it say when it's
- 1:23:07talk about you know so that whatever man think it you know
- 1:23:12it comes up you know these are the things I'm wondering if
- 1:23:15there's so much going on in the mind if.
- 1:23:18It's yeah. And, and, and, and that's what's
- 1:23:21going on in him in the mind. And that's how he comes out in
- 1:23:24a, in a, in a messed up way, because.
- 1:23:26That's all because that's all he knows.
- 1:23:27Because that's all he knows. That's how that's all he knows
- 1:23:30what is. What is a samurai?
- 1:23:32You know, when you think it, you know, is is who you are.
- 1:23:37There's a scripture that talks about that.
- 1:23:40I know, I know. One of the scripture is, is that
- 1:23:43in the, in the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
- 1:23:46Yeah, there's A and the abundance of the heart of mouth
- 1:23:48speaks. So is the man thinking.
- 1:23:51So is he? There's a curious right?
- 1:23:52A man thinking there is he. Thinking so is he.
- 1:23:54Right. I'm just wondering if if, if
- 1:23:58like you said, like you saying Samurai, if you are focused on
- 1:24:03your success, it's definitely going to come out it's.
- 1:24:07Going to come out. It's definitely going to come
- 1:24:10out. You know, it is definitely like,
- 1:24:13you know, it's almost like you know when they say you are what
- 1:24:15you eat. If.
- 1:24:17You, if you are focused, if it's all about you, you can tell when
- 1:24:21a person is, when it's all about them and not about God, you
- 1:24:27know? Exactly.
- 1:24:28You know, like that scripture that you was talking about,
- 1:24:33right? And yeah, 10. 19 yeah. 10:19 We
- 1:24:35didn't finish. We didn't finish the second.
- 1:24:37Point look at. Another piece of that.
- 1:24:41I got you on it. Yeah, I got you.
- 1:24:42Don't worry. I was gonna say, you know, like
- 1:24:44you said, too much talk, too much talk, just like you said,
- 1:24:47you know, but it also says be sensible and keep your mouth
- 1:24:51shut. Now that's that's the version I
- 1:24:52have, you know, be sensible. Yeah, that I got you.
- 1:24:55Be beat, but he who sprays his lips is wise.
- 1:25:00The reason why I say that, the reason why I bring out this
- 1:25:03concept, because when I understood how to do this, I
- 1:25:06understand how to see people and see spirit of operation versus
- 1:25:09understanding that these people are just who they are.
- 1:25:12Because now we're passing judgment when some people just
- 1:25:15don't even understand that they even attached to the spirit of
- 1:25:17operation. And the one concept is, is that
- 1:25:20when it comes down to that, when you let your spirit speak
- 1:25:24instead of your flesh speak, that's where you control what
- 1:25:30your heart accepts and puts in and filters in.
- 1:25:34Because in the mind, when your mind is racing, if you let your
- 1:25:38flesh go, your mind is going to race.
- 1:25:40I tried this once before and it does work.
- 1:25:43If you close your eyes in the middle of a dark room in a
- 1:25:45blackout and don't say, don't say, don't, don't put nothing on
- 1:25:48it. Just close your eyes and think
- 1:25:50about 1 positive thought. And then you got that positive
- 1:25:53thought. Hold on to that positive thought
- 1:25:55for about a minute, then go on ahead and let your mind wander.
- 1:25:59That positive thought is an experience or memory inside your
- 1:26:01brain. It's going to access other
- 1:26:03memories, other thoughts relating to that thought.
- 1:26:06If you let it wander and you let it wander, and you let it wander
- 1:26:09and you let it wander, you realize you thought about a
- 1:26:11whole bunch of negative stuff and you forgot about the
- 1:26:13positive thought that you was thinking about.
- 1:26:16You can't chase it back. Go back to Melinda, because I
- 1:26:19was, I was tracking where you was headed with the conversation
- 1:26:22of the person that approaches you with the pride.
- 1:26:25Pride is not all pride is not negative.
- 1:26:28Ego is not bad. It's the heart process.
- 1:26:31So what I, what I'm hearing you say, Melinda, is at the end of
- 1:26:34the day, because if the person is not walking in Christ, he's
- 1:26:36not walking in the Lord we're living in.
- 1:26:39What's the opposite of that is the rebellion.
- 1:26:41It's the sin. It's the rebellion though.
- 1:26:43So that mindset is going to be pulling from all of the ego
- 1:26:46driven stuff, right? And that doesn't make that
- 1:26:49person a bad person. No, of course not.
- 1:26:53No, no, no, no. So.
- 1:26:54If we so if we know that it's just.
- 1:26:56What comes? Yeah, it's just what comes out
- 1:26:59of them. I mean, you know, I, I have, I
- 1:27:01have a good, I have a good friend that when you come into
- 1:27:08his space, the first thing he got to do is show you all his
- 1:27:12trophies and all his stuff. Oh, I did this.
- 1:27:16Trophy. Look at that.
- 1:27:18Look at that. Right, Right.
- 1:27:19And, you know, you know, somebody else would say, oh,
- 1:27:24Lord, you know, and you know, yeah, he got some pride issues,
- 1:27:27but he is a good person. His heart is good.
- 1:27:29He does have a good heart. He's just got to work on himself
- 1:27:33a little bit more and work on what he's doing.
- 1:27:35And I think, I think it it comes with maturity.
- 1:27:39You know you don't. Get.
- 1:27:41Yeah, you don't get where you're at with Christ overnight.
- 1:27:45God has. Got Oh, no.
- 1:27:46Oh yeah, no. And work on you and work on.
- 1:27:49And so he's one of those newborns right now, you know, I
- 1:27:53see that and I'm like, and, and, and So what I'll do is oh, OK,
- 1:27:58that's, that's nice. That's nice.
- 1:28:00And my concern, do I get into that?
- 1:28:03No, you know, I, I, I've got several degrees, but you would
- 1:28:07never know it. I, I don't have, you know,
- 1:28:09because when I started, when I started looking to God and
- 1:28:15focusing on God, it took my mind off of every materialistic thing
- 1:28:20that I know about do about and all that it is.
- 1:28:24It's to me it is meaningless, just like what Solomon says
- 1:28:29everything is. Vanity is vanity, you know
- 1:28:32exactly. And so you.
- 1:28:35Know for people like that, you know, when they come too strong
- 1:28:38or come too hard or, you know, when they get to flip flopping
- 1:28:41and what they do, I just to be honest, I just have to pray for
- 1:28:44him. I that's what I do.
- 1:28:46I just pray for him. You know, I, I don't be like,
- 1:28:49well, you need to be doing it. That's, that's not me.
- 1:28:52That's not Melinda. I just silently pray for him and
- 1:28:55say, Laura, you know their hearts because I'm going to tell
- 1:28:57you God knows their hearts, right?
- 1:28:59We might look at it and say, oh man, you know, this person is
- 1:29:03this, this, this, But God knows their hearts, you know?
- 1:29:08And so that's why that's why Melinda, for me, what you point
- 1:29:11to is the work I had to do for myself was my I have to I have
- 1:29:14my identity. My identity was trapped in so
- 1:29:17much stuff in the world and my basketball identity and the
- 1:29:21military identity and The Who am I as the son and the father and
- 1:29:24the husband and the ex-husband and divorce like those
- 1:29:27identities get trapped. So my behavior was in the dance.
- 1:29:31It was in the dance and stuff and messed up and you know.
- 1:29:34Also. That's I was just going to say
- 1:29:37just really quick summer. I don't know what you have it,
- 1:29:39but you know, that's the thing, you know, life and people and
- 1:29:44our families and and, and and you know, our surrounding, They
- 1:29:48give us an identity that God hasn't given us.
- 1:29:51That's not that's not what God believes about us.
- 1:29:53That's not what God says about us, But we take, you know, what
- 1:29:57so and so and said about us, what so and so on thinks about
- 1:30:00us. We take that and then we we form
- 1:30:02like, OK, that's who I am and I love early.
- 1:30:05Early, early, early. Exactly.
- 1:30:08And I love the story where Gideon, you know, you know, when
- 1:30:14God came to him, God called him a warrior.
- 1:30:17He called him a, you know, courageous.
- 1:30:20And Gideon is in like I ain't that, you know, I'm up in the
- 1:30:24field hide, hiding from the enemy, you know, but God saw
- 1:30:28something different. Can you imagine all the people
- 1:30:31who talked about Gideon and said, Oh, you ain't this, Oh,
- 1:30:34you, this you, you know, you, you, you are scaredy cat or you,
- 1:30:38you know, you, you got all this. But God said, no, you know what,
- 1:30:43you know, courage, warrior, all these things.
- 1:30:47And I think, like I said, God sees something in US different
- 1:30:51than what we see. You know, I I'll let you have
- 1:30:53it, samurai, you know, speak a speak a word to us.
- 1:30:56Speak a word. The word, the word comes
- 1:30:59actually from Romans 10. Everybody wants to think Romans
- 1:31:0210 about to go straight to the Savior Scripture, which is
- 1:31:04Romans 10/9 and 10 that's. All that's all they go.
- 1:31:07To they go to there everybody like Romans 10, you profess with
- 1:31:10your heart in your mouth. No, it's Romans 10/9 and 10.
- 1:31:12But I'm there's other scriptures before that that you should be
- 1:31:15paying attention to right, right.
- 1:31:16So Romans 10, Romans 10, actually one through 3 brother
- 1:31:22in my hearts, desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they
- 1:31:26may be saved. OK, but I bear them witness that
- 1:31:31they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
- 1:31:36Deal without wisdom is dangerous.
- 1:31:40Now let's get down to so they say, for they for they be
- 1:31:46ignorant of God's righteousness and seeking to establish their
- 1:31:51own righteousness. This goes to the whole part of
- 1:31:55this conversation. Yeah.
- 1:31:57Yeah. Have not submitted to the
- 1:32:00righteousness of God because you can't have both in the same
- 1:32:04rocket. So you can't have yourself
- 1:32:06righteousness and then disguise it as God's righteousness.
- 1:32:09Half believe in God's righteousness with your own
- 1:32:11righteousness, because that brings perversion.
- 1:32:14Right that. Brings perverseness.
- 1:32:17So wait, it didn't tell you. So with the submission, you have
- 1:32:24to submit. You're all to God.
- 1:32:27You have to submit all of yourself.
- 1:32:29Now, here's the thing that this goes back to the altered ego.
- 1:32:32Yeah, you gonna alter that ego when you submit yourself back to
- 1:32:37your beatitudes because that is God.
- 1:32:43And that's where he said, like I said, Remember Me and me and
- 1:32:46Pharaoh spoke about this when we talked about the choice when
- 1:32:49that time, that episode, when Jesus was explaining all those
- 1:32:51things, he looked at Matthew for the final one.
- 1:32:53And Matthew was like, well, God, what are all these for?
- 1:32:55He said, if you're looking for me, this is how you will find
- 1:32:59me. So when you think about that,
- 1:33:04right, the Beatitudes is who we were when these kids, before we
- 1:33:10got the chocolate milk snatched from this room before she went
- 1:33:13in the June bug because he had right before you wet your pants
- 1:33:18in front of the classroom. Yeah, all those things.
- 1:33:22That was. Your Beatitudes, that's where
- 1:33:24they got altered. So now you altered into the ego
- 1:33:28now as grown adults, because now it's the harvest time, because
- 1:33:32that's when the enemy planted tears in your harvest when he
- 1:33:34was little. You can't touch it because
- 1:33:36you're going to tear yourself up in the process.
- 1:33:39We got to wait until you fully mature, which is the harvest.
- 1:33:42Now we separate the wheat from the tails.
- 1:33:45So now you're separating, you're alternating that ego, you're
- 1:33:50altering that ego out of you that you have.
- 1:33:55So because, you know, come on now, all of us was young and
- 1:33:58teenagers in high school. We had the swag on us like there
- 1:34:01was nobody's been. Oh no.
- 1:34:02I'm. Going to tell you, I'm going to
- 1:34:04tell you. You know what I'm saying?
- 1:34:06We had. I'm working on my identity in
- 1:34:09Christ right now. That has been my transformation,
- 1:34:12giving up my identities from 2 years old to 40 and I'm peeling.
- 1:34:18The layers off. And now I'm looking at my when I
- 1:34:21got the Beatitudes, I told you when I got.
- 1:34:23The Beatitudes. I was like, oh, that's what I've
- 1:34:25been going through the last seven years.
- 1:34:27This is the bee. Attitude.
- 1:34:29I was poor in spirit when. The cherry on top, yes, the
- 1:34:33chair is the cherry on top of all of that is that's how you
- 1:34:36find your wife. That's how you find your
- 1:34:37husband. You don't find him out there
- 1:34:41with your ego. If you do, that's a worldly
- 1:34:44marriage. You might be in a little bit of
- 1:34:46trouble because once the real Beatitudes come out, they're
- 1:34:49like, you change. I didn't know that about you.
- 1:34:51Oh, you lame. Oh, what?
- 1:34:53Huh. What she do?
- 1:34:56No, you know, she's like man. You know she's going to be like
- 1:35:00this. I know she's going to be like
- 1:35:02that. No, man, I got to get a pound of
- 1:35:04this. No, go ahead.
- 1:35:06Go ahead it. Reminds me you guys are talking.
- 1:35:09It reminds me of that that movie.
- 1:35:12I'm going to get you sucker. Y'all remember that?
- 1:35:14Oh. My goodness, she went there.
- 1:35:20Yeah. She put off the wig.
- 1:35:21And she's like, don't make me come back to you.
- 1:35:28I like the. I like the one I love, The one I
- 1:35:30love. The one I love the most was the
- 1:35:32Will Smith episode with Tisha Campbell.
- 1:35:34And they were stuck in the basement.
- 1:35:36And he was like, man, can you leave me a hand?
- 1:35:38She was like, hey, you want a nail here?
- 1:35:40Cook, cook, cook, cook, cook. Here, you can have it.
- 1:35:42And we was like and then later while he was singing, shot to
- 1:35:48the base and start throwing the tricycle.
- 1:35:51This girl getting on my nerves. She love you.
- 1:35:53Here we go here we go. We're.
- 1:35:55Going to play APSA comeback. We we going to wrap it up.
- 1:35:59I think for those of you who are watching in this moment, we
- 1:36:03appreciate you and and hopefully you heard something for yourself
- 1:36:08in this opportunity to share as you talk about the word, this
- 1:36:12is, this is, this is, this is life.
- 1:36:15And when you put your life in that word and use it as a
- 1:36:18mirror, there's you will, you, will, you, will, you will peel
- 1:36:23those. If you willing to tell the truth
- 1:36:24to yourself, you will peel those layers off.
- 1:36:27And there is so much joy and peace on the other side of that.
- 1:36:31I'm trying to tell you, I'm trying to tell you, but you got
- 1:36:34to be willing to do the work. We can, we can listen to you and
- 1:36:37point it out to you, but it's it's not for me to point that
- 1:36:39out to you is for me to guide you to be an example of the word
- 1:36:42and to guide you, if you're willing for me to show you where
- 1:36:45I got it from. That's what people are.
- 1:36:46Where did you get that? Why you, you are different.
- 1:36:48You act, you don't act like where did where did that come
- 1:36:50from? Now I can tell them where it
- 1:36:53came from. I can, I could go.
- 1:36:55I did therapy and this and this, but I could also say the word.
- 1:37:00I. I, I I set.
- 1:37:02Myself. Free.
- 1:37:03I set myself free from my stories, but the word set me
- 1:37:07free indeed. So I I have a testimony that I
- 1:37:10can say I use the word to get free for me, right.
- 1:37:13And so we go play this PSA, come back, wrap up the episode.
- 1:37:16Thank y'all both for tuning in and being here and hanging out
- 1:37:19with me today. And this is the front door.

- 1:37:56hanging in there. I mean, we've been here for an
- 1:37:57hour, 37 minutes. We need that balance and the
- 1:38:12balance is also going to show in the future, man.
- 1:38:14It's going to show that. It's going to show this.
- 1:38:16This right here is what the world needs to see more of
- 1:38:19because right now we got this women smacking dudes inside the
- 1:38:23head and telling them what it's going to be.
- 1:38:24And we over here cowering and caves like Elijah and forgot who
- 1:38:27we were. You know what I'm saying?
- 1:38:29And you know we ain't stepping out.
- 1:38:31You know, we letting her run all rampy.
- 1:38:33Like dude, if you don't get a control of the Bronco what is
- 1:38:37wrong with you? Before we get out of here,
- 1:38:41Melinda, I'm going to give you the I'm going to give you the
- 1:38:43piece. Now what do you want to say from
- 1:38:45this episode? You know, you know, I, I have, I
- 1:38:47have, I haven't really enjoyed myself.
- 1:38:50Samurai Farron, I appreciate. I'm honored.
- 1:38:52Thank you. Thank you for allowing me to,
- 1:38:55you know, come on the show and, you know, I want I want to leave
- 1:38:59it. You know where you know.
- 1:39:01Proverbs 3 five. Trust in the Lord with all thy
- 1:39:04heart, and lean not on our own. Understanding.
- 1:39:07And you know, right, we get in positions where we think this is
- 1:39:14this, you know, oh, we, we need to be this way.
- 1:39:16We need to be that way or. We gotta figure it.
- 1:39:20Out right exactly. But God says lean not on your
- 1:39:23own understanding. That's real.
- 1:39:26I have seen it many, many times where I thought a certain way
- 1:39:30and it ain't, it ain't that way and so.
- 1:39:33As creature in the spirit, it's a different realm, a different
- 1:39:36view, it's a different perspective, it's a.
- 1:39:38Different I I just encourage people, like I was saying last
- 1:39:42night, if you don't know God, get to know him.
- 1:39:45Get to know him. You know, you will find yourself
- 1:39:50coming out of a lot of trouble. You will find yourself avoiding
- 1:39:52trouble. You'll find yourself avoiding
- 1:39:55chaos drama. You'll find yourself, you know,
- 1:39:59not stressed out. Get to know him.
- 1:40:01And so that's that's what I want to tell people.
- 1:40:04You know, like I said, why go to everybody else when you go to
- 1:40:09the maker himself? Get to know him.
- 1:40:12That's all. That's all I got to say.
- 1:40:14All right. All right, guys, I'm going to
- 1:40:16sign off. It's.
- 1:40:19A pleasure, man, it's a pleasure.
- 1:40:23I just want to leave the people with the
- 1:40:40understanding that you don't have to entice to get your point
- 1:40:45across. You don't have to attack to get
- 1:40:48your point across. All you have to do is be
- 1:40:51yourself. When you beat yourself and let
- 1:40:54God do the work, you going to be far more in with relationships,
- 1:40:59far more in with opportunities in your life, far more in with
- 1:41:03the having people that are going to support you and love you.
- 1:41:07You just have to be yourself. Stop trying to entice and
- 1:41:12impress God and be a part of God.
- 1:41:16That's all you have to do. Thank you man, Thank you.
- 1:41:19I'm going to leave it with the scripture of the day from the
- 1:41:21episode as a Proverbs 10/19. When there are many words,
- 1:41:26transgression and offense is unavoidable.
- 1:41:30But he who controls his lips and keeps thoughtful silence is
- 1:41:35wise. OK.
- 1:41:38And I'm going to say this state is not lacking transgression and
- 1:41:44offense is sin, right? Thank you for your time.
- 1:41:51They I appreciate y'all for tune listening in.
- 1:41:53This is the frondos. Appreciate you.
