- 9:56[SPEAKER_06]: I'm recording.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

- 10:04[SPEAKER_04]: It's done.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_04]: It's done.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_04]: I get it.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_06]: I hear something in the background.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_06]: What is it?
- 10:12[SPEAKER_04]: Um, oh, I'm sorry.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_04]: You have a guest?
- 10:15[SPEAKER_06]: No, I hear something.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_06]: It's gone now.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_04]: It was my cell phone.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, my cell phone.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

- 10:34[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you so much.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_04]: I, uh, there was a name written on it.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_04]: Paul, so I don't know if it's, you know, I don't know why that is there.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_06]: Well, that's who originally got to check it, but don't I had news it before the seasons over?
- 10:49[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, he didn't want it.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_06]: No, that's why he gave them to me to give to you.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, what a sweetheart.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_04]: I, um, well,
- 11:02[SPEAKER_04]: Please note the following terms reserved the right to prevent usage of the certificate at extraordinarily busy times, such as, but not vividly, too, memorial day, independence day, pirates day, labor day, et cetera, and then it says this certificate must be redeemed prior to departure by contacting our office, and I haven't even called them yet, so I hope
- 11:32[SPEAKER_06]: Well, why don't you call their office and set up a time and go right on the boat.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_06]: It's supposed to be nice all week.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, I want to love the boat.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_06]: Now, they won't get in.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_06]: Say, he a boat ride won't get in the way if your work schedule will.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_04]: Well, no, it's just chilly today.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_04]: No, no, in fact, I'm trying to get a hold of my beloved at once again, because we had decided to go either today or tomorrow,
- 12:02[SPEAKER_04]: around here, and oh my gosh, they're taking down the water tower, and oh my god, I don't like it.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_04]: Kind of scary to be on the roads anyway, you know, because of dirt and dust.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_06]: Hey did you, did you see there was a $50,000 winner over at the liquor store right up the street from you?
- 12:20[SPEAKER_04]: I heard something along those lines.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_04]: It was a way, way, way, way, way, way, right up the street.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_06]: You mean on the same Walton street or... Well no, plasma wine and spirit.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_06]: I think it's on Andrew Twelfth.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I heard it, you know, it's really upsetting me because I'm not hearing the news stories as clearly as I would like to because I'm trying to get a lot done for the fall, and, you know, but I did want to thank you for that, and I wanted to discuss something else.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_04]: It's okay because this is a news story, I am definitely not, I just can't make it in
- 13:01[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_06]: And Go ahead and say what it is, right?
- 13:08[SPEAKER_04]: Well, you know, maybe I better not because it is controversial.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_04]: So I, you know, I mean, lost the abortion that a 12 year old had.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_04]: I just can't get it.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_04]: And this was quite a while ago.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_10]: Right.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_04]: 12 years old, you know, I'm just, this is, this is our relative.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_06]: It's unfortunate.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, it is, it really is.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_04]: I, but you know, you know, maybe they were guessing that the age because maybe she was a young woman.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_06]: Um, okay.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_06]: Well, we're not going to go into that.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_06]: If you haven't got anything else, we'll let you go.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_06]: Um, get on that boat.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I will when I get around to it.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_06]: But, um, so do you get around to anything?
- 14:03[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, quite a bit.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, the weather, yeah.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_06]: You got great weather this week.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_06]: You got free tickets.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_04]: I call my landlord three times this morning to get some filters by the heating system because it's always been questionable since I've moved in here.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_04]: And I really listen to you.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_04]: Also, my water spout, my spray hose, you know,
- 14:27[SPEAKER_04]: Not fair and I really need it for my pink you've got nice weather.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_06]: You've got free tickets You just have to call them and tell them what what boat you're going on and you can go Well, I'm down right good and ready.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_04]: I'll do that.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, man.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_06]: Great.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_06]: All right.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_06]: Thank you.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_06]: I know okay There's some hands up in the bank and give her something for free Too lazy to do that.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_06]: Oh my god
- 14:55[SPEAKER_06]: Somebody just checks in no one can get a covid vaccination without a doctor's prescription i don't know if that's true uh... so get one if you feel that strongly about it i don't know i don't know anybody who wants a covid vaccination yeah just don't they're announcing home will probably be just given one when they're not looking
- 15:25[SPEAKER_06]: You know, they committed the middle of the night.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_06]: Polkier.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_06]: That type of thing.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_06]: You know.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_06]: Well, you know, federal governments come out with a list of 68 occupations that customarily and regularly receive tips.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_06]: So they're eligible for the no-tax on tips for our gram of the recent tax regulations that were passed.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_06]: This would be a good story for our local hometown family news people because it's easy to do.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_06]: But you got bartenders, weight staff, food servers, dining room, cafeteria tennis, chefs and cooks, food prep, fast food and counterworkers, dishwashers, host staff, your host's bakers, also gambling dealers, and booth cashers, cage workers.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_06]: Sports book writer is dancers that'd be like, you know what that is.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_06]: Physicians and singers just track these except radio no Johnny Spazano entertainers and performers did you know this whole thing with no tracks on tips assumes that these are declared tips and only a fraction of what people get in tips is declared.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_06]: So I think it'll be useful to some people.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_06]: to get some money back when they file their taxes next spring won't be useful to everyone but don't overlook it same thing with overtime we do sure your top line taxable income uh... from your w two and then what do you do then now you'll get some more money back that you would have otherwise that's where you benefit from this so you know keep track of that stuff
- 17:19[SPEAKER_06]: You're right, what's up?
- 17:20[SPEAKER_08]: Do you think they actually do give out the shot for COVID law and old person to sleep?
- 17:26[SPEAKER_08]: Do you think that really goes on?
- 17:28[SPEAKER_06]: It's a nursing home, oh yeah, definitely.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_08]: You think so?
- 17:31[SPEAKER_08]: When nursing home, you think that goes on on.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_08]: That's a big thing.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_06]: Well, they're going to give it to you anyway.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_08]: I think you have to have a prescription by now, and they've also proven that it's basically the technologies that didn't pull through, hasn't worked out.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_08]: not your claim was going to do on any level whatsoever it's basically being faith through a knowledge is there to work on but it wasn't ready for prime time players yet yeah i didn't think given it out to old people who didn't know about it i didn't think that was the case i don't know what else is on your mind today well we're into this beautiful month of september and it gorgeous out it is gorgeous if you had heard anything about any lost suits now no

- 18:55[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I know we're just started.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not here to, and I'm not being critical.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_06]: I support it.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_06]: Um, I think it's a great idea.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_06]: I was just wondering how it's going.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_06]: kids cooperating or they uh... protesting or parents calling in saying i's got my kids got their rights what's going on with it it was a pretty big change i mean uh... you know they'd become addicted to those things but after dinner on the air
- 19:40[SPEAKER_07]: And I'm not just doing screwing, running errands.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_07]: I'll go into the show.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_06]: Mm-hmm.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_07]: I heard Samantha call.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, she knows those tickets are unlimited.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_07]: During these days, she can't go on holidays, as if they're too busy taking regular orders.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_06]: Right, I understand that.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, she doesn't know that I'm limited.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_07]: Everyone, unless there's a line at the door.

- 20:21[SPEAKER_06]: I know.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_06]: There's no jacket of that lady.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_06]: So somebody texted in.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_06]: When are you going to discuss the corruption in all between our governor and attorney general?
- 20:33[SPEAKER_06]: Well, if you have a complaint about them, give us a call.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_06]: Give us a call.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_06]: But I was listening to Andrew Cuomo on the radio on the way over being interviewed.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_06]: Oh man.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_06]: He's not got a beat mom, Tommy.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_06]: Not going to happen.

- 21:03[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I'm almost mad.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_06]: What's up?
- 21:06[SPEAKER_09]: Well, the weather is beautiful in that built-in desert site, and I stayed up and watched that.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_09]: I came up on, I came to channels, then it was a commercial, I went back to it, and then you read about it, you see the high light, you see the formula recovery, it's one of the key moments.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_09]: Well, it's like that.

- 21:35[SPEAKER_09]: Because when you're at a red light, there's a stop line, then a crosswalk, then the light.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_09]: The red light don't mean pull right up to the light.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_09]: It's supposed to stop at the stop line, and if you're coming out with hands food, please.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_09]: Don't block the sidewalk if you don't get mountain tea, have to get in ways and just block the side.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_06]: I know.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_09]: There's some respect and don't block crosswalks and sidewalks.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_06]: I agree with you on that.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_09]: Okay, so that's how we gave it to them.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_06]: All right, thank you.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, a little courtesy doesn't hurt.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_06]: You know, you pull up and get yourself across the sidewalk and can't get out.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_06]: We don't get the opening then pull through.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_06]: And all of that.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_06]: So be extra careful.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, I'm in favor of being courteous on the highway.

- 27:05[SPEAKER_06]: But I never heard of anybody buying a mattress at the state fair.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_06]: Anybody know about that?
- 27:12[SPEAKER_06]: Well, he said, we're going to recede it, cancel the order, bring the recede, and it'll beat the price.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_06]: And that's fine, that's fine, that's great.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_06]: I'd much rather buy it locally anyway, or
- 27:25[SPEAKER_06]: You know, get some service.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_06]: What do you have for service on it?
- 27:31[SPEAKER_06]: Well, things can go wrong on them.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_06]: There's a lot of things.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_06]: A lot of moving parts.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_06]: They used to be a mattress, which is something you slapped on there on a floor.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_06]: And maybe if you were in a nice side of town, you got some box springs.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_06]: But now you get the things that tilt up and down and you got the vibrating stuff and you got the inflatable bladder inside, and you got all that.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_06]: There's a lot of things.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_06]: There's all the technology in that bed now.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_06]: better you should buy it where you can get it to service or if you have any questions get those questions answered but as far as buying a mattress at the state fair it never ever in my many years cross my mind and even when I was younger or more agile or something like that I never said hey hey let's go down a state fair and get a mattress ow
- 28:21[SPEAKER_06]: All righty, thank you.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_06]: 755-1240 is a phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show today.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_06]: Show of shows, that's what we are.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_06]: And what's this about, Millie?
- 28:35[SPEAKER_06]: She claims the school superintendent striving of GMC Yukon, a black one.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_06]: But the district bought, that's a nice SUV and so that's the Yukon's.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_06]: That's upscale, that's like, like a suburban almost.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_06]: She's she said that.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I don't know if that's part of his deal or not But everybody get everybody at city hall gets cars, don't they?
- 29:07[SPEAKER_06]: No No, I always thought There's always of the opinion
- 29:15[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, if you had to go to Syracuse to a meeting, either got mileage, or if you used to you want to employ your vehicle or something, that's fine.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_06]: I took a card to all, but he wants for something.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_06]: Other times, you just got mileage for that type of trip, but, but, um, I don't know, as you need one for day-to-day use.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_06]: I know you can sit there and say, well, I had to, you know, I have to drive around.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_06]: He's at some point.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_06]: You can't get nickel and dime the cow for everything, but I don't know if it's a school superintendent has a UCO or not if shouldn't the city manager get one then and the county administrator shouldn't they all get GMC U-cons?
- 30:05[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_06]: What'd you hear about?
- 30:06[SPEAKER_06]: It was I don't know.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_06]: I think it was on the meme page.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_06]: And I don't know, there's, there's a new meme page.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know if it's meme page two or meme page one.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_06]: I don't really, uh, it's just like I don't know.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_06]: Hmm.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_06]: Somebody text it in.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_06]: Well, they text.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_06]: I can't wait for a millionaire.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_06]: I was going to be exposed for meme page.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I'm not going to go through the rest of it because it's something of a personal nature.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_06]: So, you see, I'm a considerate person.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_06]: I know what things were, you know, that message was given to me an executive session.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_06]: It's non-foilable.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_06]: So, there you go.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_06]: 755, 1240, the phone number.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_06]: What's this James now she's gonna defend New York's shields law.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_06]: Oh come on stop at lady Well they weren't very the AG's office wasn't very nice to Cliff only were they Denied his request to get more information He's gone in a couple months anyway.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know why they they keep going but
- 31:45[SPEAKER_06]: and already what else is happening here you know there was something
- 31:54[SPEAKER_06]: And I do this sometimes just to, you know, because media is all different.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_06]: They cover different things, but you know, we got TV over here on Fox and one over here on CNN.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_06]: And it just followed the headlines during the day, and it's like you're living in two different universes.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_06]: Like this, there was a lady, and this is especially brutal, who was writing out a train or something down in Charlotte, that's in North Carolina.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_06]: And she was a Ukrainian refugee came to this country, woman, writing alone.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_06]: and there was a guy in the seat behind her and he just reached around stabbed to the neck and killed her and it's all on tape his cameras in the train car and that's not news because it doesn't fit the narrative the narrative that there's crime brutal crime but they don't want you it's not the narrative on CNN or the archives
- 32:52[SPEAKER_06]: and certainly the narrative about who's committing those crimes they don't want to buy into.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_06]: So that you don't get to see that.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_06]: It was like three years ago when all those people are walking across an eagle past Texas, and it wasn't made up video on Fox.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_06]: It was real people, but the other network's never showed it because it wasn't the narrative.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_06]: And that's why so many people really believed my orchestra when he said the borders closed wasn't
- 33:21[SPEAKER_06]: But people believe that because that's the narrative they've been fed.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_06]: So it's like a lot of these things.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_06]: Remember the boy, the little girl who got raped and killed in Texas.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that was a big story on Fox, but not anywhere else.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_06]: And the other thing that is weird about perspective is
- 33:47[SPEAKER_06]: There was a thing over in the West Bank today.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_06]: That's over next to Israel.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_06]: There were news here in the wherever it is.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_06]: Six people got killed.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_06]: The usual suspects.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_06]: Terrible, tragic, certainly worth mentioning.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_06]: But six or eight or ten, nine people can be killed on a weekend in Chicago or any city.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_06]: And it's not news.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_06]: Is it because those people were mostly black?
- 34:12[SPEAKER_06]: Is that why the CNN doesn't want to cover?
- 34:14[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_06]: But it could be the same number or more people, and there's no cover.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_06]: Jesus, I just don't know.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_06]: But certainly that situation down in Charlotte is pretty weird.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_06]: Did you see the video?
- 34:38[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, you watched CNN.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_06]: No, you didn't.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_06]: That's all right.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_06]: That's all right.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, let's see.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_06]: Well, it's like the local news here, you know, these different narratives, there's things I talk about and the other legacy media doesn't.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_06]: So it goes on all over.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_06]: We're all crooked.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_06]: There you go.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, listen, we're going to take time out for a message and be back with more in a moment.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_17]: We just don't say it off and enough.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_17]: Thank you for listening to the station that listens to you.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_17]: The news in talk authority.

- 39:38[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I'll go over there at some point, just like I go to different places and support
- 39:44[SPEAKER_06]: What do you do to supporting?
- 39:46[SPEAKER_06]: And you know, people are going to make decisions, consumer decisions based on their own wants needs and ability, you know, whatever.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_06]: But certainly, I think it's worth giving it a try.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_06]: I saw some of the pictures.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_06]: It looks nice.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_06]: Look, said nice.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_06]: It was a porch light.

- 40:09[SPEAKER_06]: But,
- 40:13[SPEAKER_06]: They have a nice sign out front.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_06]: Looks good.

- 40:27[SPEAKER_06]: Yep.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_06]: What was the place that was next door the little bar there?
- 40:34[SPEAKER_06]: That was kind of nice.

- 41:08[SPEAKER_06]: Brown Shandy was the place, yeah, I remember that boy, that was a great place.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_06]: That was a great place.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_06]: Those were the days.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_06]: Those were the days.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_06]: Somebody said the brown drug wasn't the brown drug.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_06]: That was the one out by, was that the one at Muns Corners out by Defaria?
- 41:28[SPEAKER_06]: I think so.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_06]: I think so.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_06]: Somebody texted, the six old guy.

- 41:39[SPEAKER_06]: You can afford to eat out all the time.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_06]: really, I don't know why do, I'm lazy now, but after noon, I'm here.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I saw the video about that guy stabbing at the Ukrainian woman refugee who's living in the United States.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_09]: That was pretty horrible.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_09]: You know, the guy he was even since prison for eight years for armed robbery was a danger for weapon.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_09]: And he was also mentally disturbed
- 42:11[SPEAKER_09]: and he was a conviction for robbery sellin' the earth largely and breaking and entering so he should not have been on streets.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_06]: But that's what's going on, Danny, and I don't want to pick on you, but you know who's doing that stuff.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, it was a red state.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_09]: Have it, gee, boy.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_06]: No, it doesn't matter if it's a red state.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_06]: It's in.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_06]: It's North Carolina is increasing, yeah, my point is, there are no red states and blue states, I don't buy that nonsense.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_09]: Well, since we're on that topic, I want to raise the really, I want to talk about what's just redistricting prior to the 2020-26 election coming up out of cycle.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_09]: It started with Texas, as you know, it has spread, now it's in Ohio, in Indiana.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_06]: to win control of Congress.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_09]: And keep control of Congress as Mr. Crop called Governor Abbott there in Texas.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_09]: Find me five new seats and stick the thing.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_09]: That's just, that doesn't remind you of a 2020 when he called the judge.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_06]: Well, listen, I don't, well, first of all, there's not a thing.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_09]: Can't call him, say, Registrate Carme.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_09]: All I need five seats.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_09]: He did it.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_06]: Well, he can call.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_06]: I could call Governor Abbott and say that too, but that doesn't mean they do.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_06]: Well, about Democratic, you know, the Democrats now want to reconfigure Maryland.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_06]: Did you know they had there's eight congressional seats in Maryland and seven or Democrats?
- 43:42[SPEAKER_06]: How much more can you reconfigure?
- 43:44[SPEAKER_06]: But they're trying.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_09]: it's the game that's played it's on forage at most people within the sound of our voice and he don't know what we're talking about with redistricting but they don't know what it's about it's supposed to be every 10 years I know what it is I know I know I know they do have various state laws to come have a commission to number down by the courts what have you so even New York had to re-draw theirs because the courts did their theirs was not my country so they're not the answer either
- 44:16[SPEAKER_09]: get the election and the district and the composition of the voters in your party along your line is not in with what you perceive to be as a win for the next cycle the next win.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_09]: What do you do?
- 44:33[SPEAKER_09]: You change the rules.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, what do you think happened in New York?
- 44:40[SPEAKER_09]: I got caught by the courts and they had the regional too, so they, they go, I, I, I know everybody's not even enough.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_06]: The whole point is the need to be collected now, this is, look at, if it were me drawing the map, I would just draw squares around the major cities and then massage the, the edges to make them all equal, but they don't want to, the purpose is to win, Danny, where the or a Democrat or Republican, the purpose is to win, it's about power, it's about being
- 45:08[SPEAKER_09]: You know where I live, don't you?
- 45:10[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_09]: You know what I live, don't you?
- 45:12[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_09]: I wasn't, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I get to never try here.
- 45:17[UNKNOWN]: I was in the 12 district in the cross streets or whatever.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_09]: The cost of street.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_06]: There you go.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_09]: The cost of street was a different morning district.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_06]: Well, yeah, but fortunately, I know I have a panty, panty.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_06]: Fortunately, those district boundaries mean nothing anymore because now we have voting centers here in the city.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_06]: You can go to any of the six of the voting centers and vote.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_06]: Dan Francis can go to the one on the north side.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_06]: He can go over to wherever he wants.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_06]: There's six of them.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, that's why it's important to have accurate voting registration.
- 45:56[UNKNOWN]: and roster when you go in, they say, what's your name?
- 45:59[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I know it's important.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_09]: They don't know the holder look down and say, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all
- 46:27[SPEAKER_06]: that may be I don't you're not going to be because it's all about who's gaming the system to get advantage who want they want to win and keep the power if you lose you want to go back and regain later so it it's really it's really a bad situation I would prefer none of this time
- 46:47[SPEAKER_06]: I would prefer none of this is going on right now, but that's just me.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_06]: I wouldn't bother with it, but others will, because they want to gain it.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_06]: They want to win.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_06]: You want the Democrats in charge of Congress, don't you?
- 46:58[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_06]: You'd like the Democrats to be in charge of Congress, wouldn't you?
- 47:05[SPEAKER_09]: Well, he has for policy reasons I would be, but that's not the only reason to do it, also to keep the power they keep the policy that you want.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_06]: It's to me.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_06]: It's to me.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_06]: It's to me.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_06]: It's to me.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_06]: It's to an end.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, listen.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_06]: No, but I do have to go.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, okay.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_06]: Thank you, right now.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_06]: I don't want to hear that.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_06]: I see a Assemblyman Billy Jones from the Platsburg area.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_06]: It's finally vacated his office.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_06]: So now they can call that special election up there.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_06]: I think the Democrats got a good shot in that seat.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_06]: But they've got a guy, a town of Platsburg, supervisor running named Michael Cashman.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_06]: And the Republicans, I think, are going to go with a retired state trooper from Clinton County.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_06]: So, and not the mayor of Malau, now that didn't work out, so that'll be going on in this year.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_06]: They'll probably hold that special election to fill it in December now, and I do understand water town is not in the 150th district, okay.

- 51:24[SPEAKER_06]: Depend on it.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_06]: The band added indeed.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_06]: Don't forget the harvest festival.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_06]: The city's holding a little later this month.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_06]: September 26 7th and 8th.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_06]: It's a couple weeks off.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_06]: But we're mentioning it.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_06]: And it's over at the fairgrounds.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_06]: Lots of activities, carnival, trenders, live music, Vogue Smokes, beer garden, and everything else.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, let's see what else we got going on here.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_06]: You know,
- 51:52[SPEAKER_06]: I will say that Anthony Velasquez caused a little bit of a storm if you read that article.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_06]: And it's in the online version of the Times, and maybe it'll be in tomorrow's paper edition, but on him advocating for the public that can sit or change in the former government.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_06]: You know, it's not that he isn't a nice guy, it doesn't do with him.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_06]: And it's just a question or having somebody people feel more directly connected with.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_06]: Or is getting things done and all of that.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_06]: You know right now, the downside in the current system is you get elected even if you've got an agenda or a platform if you will.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_06]: Tired implemented because you're really going up against the deep state when you get in there.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_06]: And so.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_06]: You know, if the manager changed every time the mayor changed or something like that, maybe, but we're going to do that system, but I don't know.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_06]: Different views on it.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_06]: Some people, they don't want... They don't want politicians.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_06]: They call them the politicians.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_06]: They don't want them.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_06]: But then those are the same people who talk about our democracies on the line.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_06]: You want democracy or you don't.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, we got a governor.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_06]: We don't have a state manager.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_06]: and we got a president.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_06]: We don't have a country manager.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_06]: So there's a lot of bureaucrats, probably too many, but that's the other argument is the public can't be trusted with these decisions, and we don't want elected officials making that kind of making decent money.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_06]: You know, I was laughed.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_06]: They used to remember, they used to carry on, I was an officer, you shouldn't get any medical matters.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_06]: And the one day a week part-time judge gets full
- 53:44[SPEAKER_06]: It's different.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_06]: He's a Republican.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I get it.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_06]: Um, so a lot of these things are situational and just rivalries and jellies or something.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_06]: If someone gets elected, they should have the job.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_06]: That's simple.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_06]: That's simple.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_06]: And I think the same thing should go.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_06]: The county level.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_06]: It should be a county executive.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_06]: I know you're saying, well, there's nobody in Jefferson County smart enough to do it.
- 54:09[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, my god.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_06]: Plus, those board legislators, they like their little meetings on Tuesdays over at Peeats.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_06]: They like to feel their in charge, so they don't want to give up any of that.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_06]: But it really isn't.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_06]: You still have a legislative and branch and an executive branch.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_06]: That's all it is.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_06]: Just like a state or federal government.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_06]: Most cities are like that, you know.
- 54:35[SPEAKER_06]: So anyway, he suggested I doubt it would ever get to a ballot, but just 20 years ago, if you had brought that up, you would have been beaten into a pulp by the newspaper.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_06]: But they don't do editorial anymore.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_06]: And there's not that kind of juice in the media to go after somebody.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_06]: So could you get it to a referendum?
- 54:57[SPEAKER_06]: Pretty different.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_06]: Look at the hammering and allying over that cannabis vote.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_06]: they made that more difficult than it was seven five five twelve forty is the phone number if you'd like to give us is a council meeting tonight is a work session tonight isn't it i think so is it anything i should bother watching not sure even what's on it it's uh...
- 55:28[SPEAKER_06]: Let's see what's on it.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_06]: City, City Hall Court renovation project is, you know.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_06]: We were talking about that when I left office 10 years ago.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's a tie up.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_06]: Well, we're going to hear about it again.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, from the 5th Judicial District is coming up.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_06]: Yep.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_06]: Let's see, all of the engineering car challenge will be represented with that, too.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_06]: let's see water treatment plant disinfectant byproduct update that's the one where they want to spend 60 or 100 million or whatever wow that's a dank deal I don't think we can afford it you know I've been drinking that damn water since Lyndon Johnson was president some of you may be even longer and whatever ailments I have or had it was not a result of the water
- 56:25[SPEAKER_06]: Too many chemicals in it anyway.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_06]: You can do imagine if water towns try to get rid of the, well, they tried to refuse it.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_06]: The floor, I'd, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
- 56:53[SPEAKER_06]: I remember a state senator once told me the reason we have fluoride in the water is because the welfare of people are too stupid to brush your teeth.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not kidding.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not kidding.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_06]: That was the reason.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_06]: We got to do that.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_06]: We got to do that because the welfare of people won't brush your teeth.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think it really stops cavities that much.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_06]: It might augment it.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_06]: But why not give them a little bottles of topically apply topically.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_06]: What else did they put in the water because we're too stupid?
- 57:26[SPEAKER_06]: Actually, before I'd make you stupid, did you know that?
- 57:30[SPEAKER_06]: They don't tell you that.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_06]: They don't tell you that.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_06]: Just what, like when they wanted to give you those four-cells COVID shots, they didn't tell you everything they came with it.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_06]: They think it's
- 57:48[SPEAKER_06]: Well, it used to be back in the 50s, people thought Floorite was a communist thing.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know, maybe it was.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_06]: But it's not necessary now.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_06]: Not that it's a big savings.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_06]: But when you're talking about spending 60 to 100 million on disinfectant byproducts at the plant, or we got to save anything we can.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_06]: They are really water rates are going to be through the roof.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_06]: I know done with this.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_06]: Through the roof.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_06]: Well, what else are we going on?
- 58:18[SPEAKER_06]: Not too much else, whether forecast for the week is clear sailing.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_06]: That's all I got to say clear sailing all week long, whether I've seen it a while.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_06]: Oh my god, furious NFL fans accused Chris Collins worth of being biased towards the bills.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_06]: You just stop, he's just in an answer.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I think he does a good job.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_06]: Some people don't like him, no.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, here's something you get to vote on, news junkie.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_06]: Do you support eliminating bail for people's errors with crime?
- 59:01[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, I didn't say he can vote.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_06]: I thought it was a vote.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know if I do or not.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, just let him out like they did the guy in Charlotte, but he can poke somebody in the neck there and kill him.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_06]: Yep.
- 59:19[SPEAKER_06]: Oh boy.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_06]: I didn't want to break it to Danny, but he said that guy shouldn't have been out.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_06]: And who's responsible for that?
- 59:29[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah All right, I'm going to be in at five o'clock today with the live at five show.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_06]: Don't forget we got Shane Garrett break coming in tomorrow the city council candidate you don't want to miss that and I'll be back tomorrow noon with another edition of
