- speaker-0: Hey everybody, welcome back to another episode of the Breakthrough Church Podcast. Excited for our episode today. ⁓ I have my friend Chandler Harris with me today. ⁓ Him and his wife, Jana. ⁓ We actually go further back than just breakthrough. They're a part of breakthrough now, but we go back 10, well, guess like 11 years almost at this point ⁓ when they, we were in their small group when we joined the branch. We were on staff. was on staff as a youth pastor and we were in the small group for a little bit. And then they moved, stopped going to church at the branch. But when we started Breakthrough, Chandler and Janet were like, hey, we are in. And so super excited to have them at Breakthrough. hey, can you introduce your family really quick, Chandler? Tell them who you are and your family and stuff. speaker-1: Absolutely. ⁓ yeah, so, Hey everybody, I'm Chandler. As Josh said, ⁓ joined Breakthrough at the outset and the launch team ⁓ last summer, I guess, into early fall last year. We just felt a calling, my wife, Janet and I to really go deeper. And as Josh mentioned, we knew him and Abby, we knew their heart. We met with them to really understand more of what the vision of Breakthrough was. ⁓ And it really... ⁓ just drew us in, we prayed about it and decided that it was best for our family and it's been awesome. Our family is consisted of four kids, 10 and under. We've got Henry, Ruby, ⁓ Maile and Abel and they are having a blast and the breakthrough kids with Josh's kid and some other kids. And ⁓ I'd say that's been one of the major blessings thus far is just knowing that everybody... ⁓ their breakthrough is just is so bought in and investing not only in Jana and I but in our kids the level that they're getting poured into ⁓ Has just been has been awesome. So we've been loving that. So I'd be here today speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah, cool. Thanks, bro. ⁓ Every week I have, I come with testimonies. I come with things that God's doing either the previous Saturday or maybe last week when I went to UTD or it could be any number of reasons or testimonies. And, but today, Chandler, I want you to share testimonies from your life and from your family over the last six months. One of the coolest things, biggest wins, I would say, So far has been just watching You specifically Chan or your family too because we get texts from Jana every once in while about something your kids do or say that are like whoa, that's awesome but to see you kind of get mobilized and activated and Just everyday mission in the spirit and in the kingdom of God has been really fun to watch so Just start I want to start with how God heals your shoulder. Yeah, and then I can steer from there, but I want to go into how you've been praying for Uber drivers and praying for people in the grocery store and stuff like that. So tell us what happened to your shoulder and how all that went down. speaker-1: Yeah, if you don't mind, I want to take one step back before that even, because you mentioned it a minute ago of just how when we came to breakthrough in our family and what's been going on, ⁓ I think I'll just share my own personal testimony of ⁓ as an adult going to church, every Sunday, bringing my kids up in the Lord, it's we've... done that. We've been at the branch for years. We went to another church here in Allen for about six or seven years. But really what we've seen at Breakthrough is just, it's not, it's the opposite of just going to church. It is true encounter with the Holy Spirit every week. And for me personally, ⁓ what you sparked in my mind a minute ago is that was something that I had never experienced before. so ⁓ just having the opportunity every week to come with fresh eyes and to just ⁓ not just learn about the Word and be in the Word, ⁓ but experience what God has for us each week has just been such a blessing. And for me, that's what has led into what we're about to talk about with my shoulder. ⁓ I have been a Christian my whole life, but ⁓ never truly would say that I had any encounters with the Holy Spirit. to the level that we have really bought in over the last nine months or so. And the one we're going to talk about today was just quick background. ⁓ As I mentioned, four kids, ⁓ Henry is a baseball player. was his coach for, I've been his coach for a few years, but I was the head coach for his coach pitch team about a year ago. And so ⁓ I was the pitcher because it's coast pitch. And didn't realize that as you're coach pitching, you're throwing like 400 pitches a game or a practice. Yeah. Because every kid has to have 10 minutes of batting practice. And the math on that, if you're a baseball fan, just doesn't math over the course of, we'll call it 12 to 15 weeks, especially for someone in their upper thirties like me. Imagine your favorite pitcher in the waning years of his career going out to throw 400 pitches. doesn't happen. So I was not smart about that. I didn't have any other coaches on the team that were willing to also pitch, so was just me. And the effects of that ⁓ combined with weightlifting were just detrimental to my, specifically my right arm, I'm right-handed. And so, ⁓ my right shoulder specifically. And it was, I've never experienced chronic pain like that in my life. And it got to the point where I was just dealing with it. I wasn't ⁓ going to a doctor or trying to figure out ways to make it better. was just compensating for it in daily life. ⁓ And so I did end up going to a physical therapist for a while and saw some results, but it really was still, once again, just kind of like putting a bandaid on it, still compensating for it. And so ⁓ every week at Breakthrough, ⁓ Josh and team ⁓ at the end of service, or maybe during service, we have no agenda. We'll just throw out there, Hey, like I'm getting a word or I'm, uh, you know, this has been on my mind. Um, and this is something that, you know, I'm, I'm getting a word that maybe someone in the audience is having this that needs to be prayed for. could be physical. Um, could be an addiction. could be, um, just anything really that they feel is on someone's heart or, or in my case, going on physically. And. And I'll, once again, I'll be honest as I mentioned earlier, I've, I would call, and I told you this Josh, prior to joining Breakthrough, so I'm not afraid to share it. I would call myself skeptical, um, over my life and being someone that, that would be go to, you know, maybe not my own church, but I would visit other people's churches and see things like this with like signs and wonders. And I would, I would be highly skeptical. Consider myself a total believer. And Jesus and the resurrection and everything, like good Christian, husband, father, but just skeptical in that piece. ⁓ And even the first, you know, we'll call it, I don't know, two or three months at breakthrough, still kind of working through that. But I confess that to Josh that that was something on my mind, you know, prayed into that. But still in my heart of hearts was like, I'm not going to be one that's going to like go down at breakthrough and like receive prayer. That just wasn't something that I was like. I want to be that guy. I want everyone to see me do it. That's just not me. And frankly, I'll speak for Jana. That's not Jana either. so, ⁓ but there was, ⁓ I think it was in December, maybe November timeframe. And I had not told Josh or anyone, ⁓ that I'd had anything going on. and, ⁓ but if I remember correctly at the end of service, I think it was Josh. ⁓ you, you said, I think there's, there's something going, someone is experiencing chronic shoulder pain, specifically the right shoulder. And I'm, and in my brain in slow motion, it was, I think every single service for whatever 12 weeks that had been to that point, I was hoping that you would not say shoulder pain specifically, right? Shoulder pain. And so in slow motion, as you said, shoulder pain, I'm like, don't say right. don't say it. And he said, right shoulder. And I just, I think I dropped my pin and I work in the sound booth doing our video stream. You all should watch us. Check us out online every Saturday night where you can go back and watch. ⁓ and so I said, well, this is me. This is, this is, this is, this is for me. Nobody else got up. So it was me. And so, ⁓ so I went down and, ⁓ you know, one of the things that we taught, we've talked about that I've learned to a breakthrough is it's not just like, okay, I'm coming down for healing or, okay, cool. They mentioned something and I want to be healed. ⁓ But there's a faith aspect to it as well. We've learned through the gospel of Mark that Jesus, one of the things that he just despises is his works without faith. And if there's folks in the room that just don't have faith, Jesus wants them out and far ways can be. And so, ⁓ So I leaned in and told Josh and Josh started praying ⁓ for me right there. ⁓ Specifically, laid hands on my shoulder. ⁓ I felt a little tingle. think Josh, you something as well there. ⁓ It felt okay. But another thing that we talk about is that if it's not immediate, like keep praying into it. And so then ⁓ Josh is like, me pray again. Let's pray again. do it again. So we went after it again and prayed again and, and I, it's hard to explain in words. ⁓ you know, some of you maybe who have been healed before, whether by the Holy spirit or just in life, when you gain control back of something that you had been compensating for, for, for many, many months, it's hard to explain that, but it just, clicked and it just felt. better, it's hard to explain, but it was just immediate better. And then with the arm, the cool thing about my arm is there is, you can test it because, because once again, throwing pitching, ⁓ there may have been moments in time where if I didn't throw for two weeks, then it would feel okay. Maybe I could sleep on it. But then if I went to go throw a ball, you know, the next day or immediately it would, it would begin to hurt. And so Josh is like, we got a ball. Let's find a ball. Let's start, let's throw the ball. So we start throwing it at a granted service is over at this point. People were not like drawing it. We're not here to like show off. But, um, so just kind of afterwards, Josh and I started playing catch and it was, it was absolutely amazing. Um, and so one last thing and then I'll, Josh, you may have a question for me, but I, one thing I think either Josh, you said then, or maybe you told us at summit, um, um, or maybe your speaker summit mentioned it. But there's this aspect to it as well that when you see signs and wonders, when something happens, whether it's to you or others, you are then, not that you aren't before, but you are like doubly empowered to go out and go show that faith to others, as we're doing today, give testimony on it or double down into that. So that's what I've been doing as we get into here in a minute with Uber drivers. speaker-0: Yeah, awesome. Thanks for sharing. I want to clarify something that you said, not that you were wrong, but you were referencing in the book of Mark, you reference when you don't have any faith, Jesus wants you as far away. What Chandler is referring to is the effort Jesus goes through whenever he's in a healing moment to make sure that there's faith in the room and any doubt or unbelief in the room he doesn't want around because faith activates the power of God. in the kingdom of God. when Chandler's saying, he's not saying that if you don't have faith, Jesus wants nothing to do with you. He is saying in the moment of healing and power ministry, faith matters. And so we talk about that a lot, especially going through the book of Mark. ⁓ And then, and then yeah, okay, let's go, let's go to, ⁓ well, no, no, yeah, we need to move on. move on. Okay. Yeah. Uber drivers. So we had this thing at the end of February, think it was beginning of February. We had a thing called summit. I shared testimonies about it on the podcast right after, God really just showed up, moved and did all the things that he can only do. And one of which was activating, which was the main reason we did it was to activate ⁓ people at breakthrough in the everyday mission they've been called to in the kingdom of God to make disciples to. pray for people, think about others, to really be constantly on the look for opportunities to bless people, specifically in ministry moments like prayer. And so the last thing that we did at Summit was come up with ways that we can really apply this. What spaces in our life do we regularly attend or find ourselves in where there's people that need to be blessed that we can bless? And for Chandler, he does a lot of Uber drives or he takes a lot of Uber rides. speaker-1: drive. would love to be your driver. No, but I ride a lot. speaker-0: We'll ride you. Yeah. You're an Uber rider. so, ⁓ Chandler immediately began to do some ministry, ⁓ in the Uber car. So maybe a couple of those testimonies, and then you can talk about the grocery store one and I'll make a few points related to that, but go for it. speaker-1: Yeah. So, uh, just quickly. So as Josh mentioned, I, when I business travel, uh, I will regularly hop in an Uber from point A to point B. And so, um, that was something at the end of the summit that was just an absolute layup for me of like, that's those, those are people that, um, you know, even prior to this, I've, I love the talk of Uber drivers just in general. ⁓ because it's typically, ⁓ you know, five to 45 minute, ⁓ experience where you'll most likely never see this person ever again. And you'd be shocked. Some of the things, ⁓ whether you're having spiritual conversations or other that you can, can have conversations, especially people in different parts of the country. love learning other cultures and different, different people and what, makes them tick and what they think of me or Texans or whatever. That's all different conversation. But. For this conversation, I wanted to use that time to bless others. so ⁓ what that looks like for me, as Josh mentioned, we were equipped at Summit, but it doesn't, we don't have to go through a weekend long equipping necessarily to do what I do. And that's strike up conversation. The easiest way for me is Uber always gives you something specific. They give you their name and people either love their name or they don't like their name, but there's always a meaning. behind their name. Someone gave them that name and my wife and I are very specific about our kids and their names and the reasons behind their name. And so most of the time, if people don't have a word for their name, they at least know why they were given the name. And for whatever reason, I don't know why, but it feels like seven out of 10 drivers I get have a biblical name. so it's an easy layup for me to ask them. uh, what their name means because typically what happens in a couple of these scenarios where it would be like a David and they would say, you know, my name is, my name is David and, and this is, you know, it's, it's from the Bible. And, then I can, you easy door. Oh, are you guys, are you believers? Your parents believe it or do you believe it, et cetera, et cetera. Um, and so one of those was a manual. Um, and so I, uh, uh, And I think actually, you know what? I think on the app, I think it was, it may have been like Manny or something. And when I asked him, he said, my actual name is Emmanuel. I'm like, gosh, God with us. Come on, man, let's do it. So I was like, you know what the name actually means, right? And he said, yeah, I know it's God with us. And ⁓ he talked about how his family, ⁓ came over from, ⁓ from Puerto Rico and they were believers. live in New York city. I believe I was in Florida at this time. And, ⁓ but he talked about how he had, ⁓ fallen away from, from, from God and was in some sin. And anyway, all that to say this, these conversations in my mind and in the past, felt like to ask someone, I wasn't asking him for his sin, but I was, I was wanting to know his story. And when you give people. It doesn't have to be Uber drivers, it can be anyone, but when you give people an opportunity to be known, I have found shockingly that people, strangers, are willing to do that. They want someone to hear them. They want someone to listen to them. And so generally I just, let folks talk. So Manny specifically was talking about this. He was talking about how he always told himself, I believe he was like and he was saying, you know, once I get married and have kids, really want to get married and have kids. That's when I'll come back to my faith. And ⁓ so, I always at the end just ask, well, is there anything I can pray for? Can I pray for you? Can I pray for something specific? And so for him, it was that. was for him to, ⁓ he wanted reconciliation to come back to his faith and to... to feel that calling again. so, you know, I prayed into him in that moment and he received it and who knows what, where he is now, that was two months ago. speaker-0: So a couple of points on that that I want to highlight. ⁓ The, I'll start where you just landed. You never know the impact that'll have. Like you never know the seed that was planted and what fruit that will bear. ⁓ We play it like Chris Seidman always says, we play a letter in the alphabet of their journey with Jesus. We don't often get to play every letter, but you played a letter with Manny. And then the other thing I wanted to mention was I wanted to just notice. the shift that took place. didn't stop Uber driving, quit your job and go into the mission field because you felt compelled to go do ministry. You found a way to incorporate that ministry and that desire to see God move in the rhythms that were already in place in your life. What changed was, at least what I'm hearing you say, is now you had a new posture, an internal shift where it was one of love. Like I want to love people. I want to love them well and I actually been given a mission to do that. And I've been given the gun and the badge to do that. I have the authority to love. I have also have, I have some tools in my pocket to bless them with, which is a lot of what we talked about at summit. We're blessing prayer, declarative prayer, healing prayer. But one of the things, the three words that I hear whenever I hear that story with Manny, you went in with a posture to love. What that looked like was listening. asking questions and listening. And it culminated in prayer. It culminated in, me bring this to the Lord right here in your presence. Let's pray for this. And that's it. Like that's, that is so simple. It's low demand. You don't have to do much. It's just, do you have a posture of love towards the people you're going to see today? You're going to be willing to listen to them, to stop and listen, ask questions and then pray for them. And I love your, I love what you talked about names. When you ask someone's name, ask it, listen, remember their name and ask them about it. It's a great point of contact and entry point into meaningful conversation. So I love that. Maybe tell, I want to, I love for you to tell the grocery store one that I didn't even know about until Saturday. Unless you have like a glaring one about Uber, you're like, I got it. speaker-1: I'll do one more quick, just super quick one. I love to talk. Sorry. Sorry. Listen. So we'll edit this in post. So, so one last one. So, and so that was Manny and then we'll say there was like, I don't know, 10 more. I'd done maybe I had prayed like 10 people in a few weeks time. ⁓ so I, I don't want to say I'm a veteran at this point, but I had my rhythms down and really had no reason not to talk to people or pray for them. speaker-0: Yeah, do it. ⁓ you're good. speaker-1: and I got in a very early morning Uber on the way to a flight, ⁓ you know, selfishly for me, I had committed at summit to be like, Hey, at a hundred percent of Uber drivers, I'm talking to them. It was early morning. was, know, ⁓ eyes were, were bleary. I get in the car, the driver has music loud. I'm like, he doesn't want to talk. I don't want to talk. This is great. 20 minutes in, but then I'm just, I'm feeling inside of me like, ⁓ what are you doing, Chandler? Come on. So I chicken out until like, I can see on the app, there's like three minutes left. And I'm like, okay, I gotta do, I gotta keep my record alive here. And so I'm like, hey man, thank you so, the other way, the other entry point I do is I love, if there's not a conversation or they don't want to talk, ⁓ I love to thank them. This doesn't have to be Uber, can be anything in life. I love to thank them for the service that they have provided for me, which is getting me to my destination safely. And so this man's name was Jose. And I said, Jose, hey man, just want to just thank you so much and bless you. Thank you so much for this ride today, getting me here safe. really, really appreciate that. And that opens it up. And then I, as he's responding, I get ready to kind of lock and load and I say, Hey, is there anything I can pray for you for? And he's like, he looks back at me and he's like, you're a believer. I'm like, I'm like, yeah. He's like, we just rode in this car for like 25 minutes and you waited until now. we could, he's like, he's like, this is, he's like, yes, yes, I definitely need prayer. Um, and Josh, we pulled out, like, you know, drop off at the airline and he like pulls over and like, like turns off his car and he was in a bad relationship and was like in the middle of it. And was like, I need to get out of my relationship. he's like, I've, ⁓ he's like, God put you in this car this morning because I just, need prayer and just this moment. so two things there, just like never say never, ⁓ always just. just go for it because you just, I mean, sometimes you track out, I'm not going to say a hundred percent of the time, some people, sometimes people don't want to talk and they're, I'm good, I'm good or whatever, you know, but, ⁓ that was for me, it was, it was very convicting of like the one that I thought I wasn't going to get anything on and who, who am I to think that? And then it was like the one where the guy was like just desperate for someone to come into his car and pray for him. And there you go. speaker-0: Wow. And you almost missed a divine appointment because you just didn't really want to go there. speaker-1: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. speaker-0: Been there. Yeah, that's so powerful, man. That's great. speaker-1: ⁓ okay. Kroger. Okay. No, they're not a sponsor, not a sponsor. ⁓ so Kroger, so if you've been following on breakthrough, come see us on Saturday nights, ⁓ in Richardson. we meet on Saturday nights. So Easter Sunday morning, we had, we had Easter service Saturday night, ⁓ last weekend, weekend before last. And so Sunday morning, Sundays are a little slower for us. speaker-0: Talk about Kroger. ⁓ speaker-1: ⁓ our family, I'm sure yours too, Josh. And so, I, we needed a few things at the grocery store. And so, ⁓ me, I took two of our kids to go pick up some groceries early Easter, Sunday morning. And, we get there and, ⁓ I encounter a worker, ⁓ was asking for a couple of things and, ⁓ she. asked me how I was celebrating Easter that day. I wasn't dressed up for church. was probably in my, you know, basketball shorts and a ranger's t-shirt, but she, I don't know. She, she encountered me first, frankly, and asked, you know, how, how things were going. And so, ⁓ I said, well, we, meet on Saturday night. So we celebrate last night. We'll celebrate today with some family, ⁓ at lunchtime, but that's, that's what we did. And I asked the stupid question back to her. How are you celebrating Easter? Clearly she's working at Kroger. And so it's like the classic like you too. Yeah. ⁓ she's like, well, it's not very good because I'm here working at Kroger. And she said, my family's at church this morning. She said, ⁓ I've got five kids. I've got twin boys in high school. ⁓ you know, so I'm a little sad because I'm here today. speaker-0: enjoy your movie speaker-1: Um, but that, that unlocked for me, okay, she, must be a believer. She, her, you know, her family's at church, et cetera. So we went, we went there and I'm like, well, um, can I ask you your name? She said, my name is Eusebnia. Um, and she said, um, I said, well, well, can I, can I pray for you here in this, this Kroger? We, we shared a couple other things in that moment of just talking about family, et cetera. And, and then I said, well, well, can I pray for you? here and she said, absolutely. And I said, what can I pray for you for? And she also, like Manny, she said, I really need some reconciliation right now in my life. And she was one that as she had previously kind of told me the story or talked about herself, she seemed like the person that was, I don't know, how do you say, like, just like stalwart believer, just no one that would need prayer in that moment. But she opened herself up. to be vulnerable in that moment to a stranger at her workplace. ⁓ And so me and the kids right there, she raised her hands in the middle of Kroger, people watching, and we prayed right there. ⁓ And she was very moved by that. so, ⁓ that's outside of Uber even, just a different way where I wasn't going into that morning expecting to pray for someone frankly. ⁓ speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah. Well, it's, it's almost like you've done it enough now where when she starts opening up and asking you questions, that's a trigger in your mind of like, ⁓ maybe God's at work here. ⁓ because there's this concept of person of peace, not everybody you asked to pray for or everybody you there's, there's Uber drivers that I've talked with that I don't even go there and ask them if they need prayer. ⁓ and it's not because I'm not, not bold. It's because like, clearly they don't want any of this right now. And so it's not like everybody's going to be open, but when someone asks you ⁓ about Easter and they start opening up to you and asking you questions, that's like, okay, this person's open. I'm going there with them. And you were just able to like, notice that maybe when previously you wouldn't have. What I love about that story is your kids were there and that's like, that is beautiful. That's going to be something that they look up to you about where they say, you know what I love about my dad? I love that he prays for random people at Cro- And I think that is discipleship 101. It's as you go. And this is like the biggest point I wanted to make by having you on. I wanted people to first off know that when I share testimonies of God doing stuff, there's real people involved. And it's not just Josh going to UTD and praying for students. There's real life stuff happening in like the normal daily routine of going to groceries, getting in an Uber. You don't have to, I talked to the guy a couple of weeks ago on campus at UTD, just casting this same vision. And he's like, well, I have work and school. can't just stop what I'm doing and go do evangelism. I was like, ⁓ my gosh, wow. Okay. That's, I'm so glad he said that. Cause then I was able to identify and say, dude, you work at Costco. That's where you're supposed to do evangelism, bro. You go to school at UTD, you're in classes, you're in classes with people who don't know Jesus. That's where you do this stuff. And it's as you go, it's low demand. God's not asking you to add things to your calendar. He's just asking you to have a posture of love in your calendar where you're constantly seeking, who can I love? Who can I listen to? Whose name can I remember? Who can I ask and I pray for? And my guest Chandler is like, if I ask you and I'll even ask you, when you're having that conversation and praying for her, how do you feel internally? ⁓ What's going on inside of you when you're doing it? speaker-1: Yeah. mean, well, like for me, when I, when the, I don't know how to explain it, but like, when, when the light goes off in a moment like that and it's like, oh, I can pray for this person. Like, there's nothing to compare it to, but there's an excitement that builds in me of just like, oh, this is awesome. And it's not like a, I'm going to go brag to Josh about it. Like, I don't even, you asked me about this pre-recording. was not like, I'm going to text you, I got another one. But it's just like. For me, it's like this excitement of I get to share the gospel in that moment. ⁓ And then even as we've been recording this, I don't want to call it chills, but like I do, I get, there's this feeling inside of me that I get where it's just like, like the Holy Spirit is like giving me like touching me on the shoulder or whatever. speaker-0: It's the presence of God. It's the presence of God. This is what it reminds me of. Jesus used this language for this exact feeling. I believe in John chapter four, after he ministers to the woman at the well and the disciples come, they see him talking to her and she drops her jar and leaves because he's like, hey, you're looking at the Messiah. She's like, ⁓ my gosh. And she drops her jar, runs back to the city. And while Jesus is alone, the disciples come back up and they're like, hey, we got you food. And Jesus says, I have food you don't know about. And I think in that time of ministry, he was being so satisfied in the pleasure of the Father, in the presence of the Holy Spirit, in that moment of ministry, that there's something when you give and pour out in moments of ministry like that, the Father fills you with food that this earth cannot give you. And that's what I've experienced whenever I've done it. People are like, ⁓ gosh, you're so bold. I'm like, or I'm just hungry. And I want to eat true food that comes only as you pour yourself out and ministry to others. So ⁓ last question will be done. speaker-1: What? speaker-0: How did you get here? Like you used to not do this stuff. Now you're doing the stuff. If you could give like one reason or two, one reason as to how did you get to being maybe immobile or not activated? Cause you were a Christian, you believed in Jesus, you were doing good things. You're raising your kids in the Lord. It's not like you were just like a pagan. Like you were a good Christian serving the Lord and now you're getting after it and Uber driver and Uber rides and stuff. What was the difference? speaker-1: I mean, I think for me, it's, I mentioned it at the top. ⁓ Just being in community with the folks at Breakthrough and seeing and getting to truly know the hearts of people there and seeing them encounter the Holy Spirit is such an encouragement on a weekly basis ⁓ that you can't not get swept up into it. And, just have that, that fire burn. ⁓ and so I think that's where you can use me as a, as a test case, as you mentioned, someone that maybe didn't have that fire burning and over the course of, we'll call it nine months. ⁓ it was just, you know, captivating. And so for me, that's, that's where it hasn't been like, once again, as I mentioned earlier, it wasn't like a light bulb where it was like immediate. But it was like a slow burn of kind of week after week after week and, you know, desiring more, hungering more to where I am now and not finished, obviously. Like that's the other thing that I think I've learned about this and maybe I had a misconception previously about encountering the Holy Spirit is it's not like a one-time thing. And then it's like, cool, now I'm a Christian and forever we're good, but it's like, I am going to mess up and I'm going to come back and to the father and, over and over and over and want and desire that encounter even more. And so I think that's where it comes from is like wanting to love others. but, but I get something out of that as well, not selfishly, it's just, that's, that's how it speaker-0: Yeah, well, it meant that we'll close with this. It made me think of that Hebrews passage Hebrews 10 It says let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering for he who promises faithful and let us consider How to stir up one another to love and good works not neglecting to meet together as is the habit of some But encouraging one another and all the more as you see the day drawing near when we meet together. There's a stirring up And there's like, man, I'm stirred up to love and good works. And I think that's what we're explaining. So good stuff, man. I appreciate you being on. And I would love to have you and Jana on later in time to talk through some other testimony specifically related to some struggle hardship you guys have been through. We'd love to go there too. But man, appreciate you. Thanks for being on. speaker-1: Appreciate you, Josh. speaker-0: Okay.
