- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. Whenever the topic of Jeffrey Epstein comes up,
- 0:08obviously the first thing people think about is the horrible
- 0:11sexual abuse and the human trafficking, and rightfully so, but
- 0:15you have to understand that there are levels to this,
- 0:18and Jeffrey Epstein in his circle were not only engaging
- 0:22in human trafficking crimes, they were engaging in a whole
- 0:26host of financial crimes as well. And at Jeffrey Epstein's core,
- 0:30that's what he was. A bundler, a middleman, a guy
- 0:34that knew how to get things from A to B
- 0:37and knew the exact people to talk to to get
- 0:40that done. And that's why you see Epstein with all
- 0:42these relationships and all these connections to very powerful people.
- 0:47And what's one of the best ways to collect information
- 0:50on people digitally? Right? Well, Jeffrey Epstein had a fascination
- 0:57with cybersecurity and hacking, and in this episode we have
- 1:01an article from Politico and the headline Jeffrey Epstein spent
- 1:06years building ties to well known hackers. This article was
- 1:11authored by Maggie Miller, convicted sex offender. Jeffrey Epstein for years,
- 1:17communicated with experts in the cybersecurity community, and expressed interest
- 1:22in attending two of the largest hacker conventions in the world.
- 1:26According to documents released by the Justice Department, Well, we
- 1:31knew that he had all kinds of shit in the works,
- 1:33and we know that he had al Seckel, who was
- 1:36married to one of Maxwell's sisters, working on scrubbing his
- 1:40profile from the internet. Oh and by the way, al
- 1:44secl had a very unfortunate fall off of a cliff.
- 1:48But I'm sure that's just a coincidence, right, like every
- 1:51other death surrounding Jeffrey Epstein. It's unclear of Epstein ever
- 1:56attended either Defcon or black Hat, where thousands of hackers
- 2:00and researchers gather annually in Las Vegas to discuss the
- 2:03latest cyber vulnerabilities and trends. According to his emails with
- 2:08several prominent researchers and business people, his interest in cybersecurity
- 2:14and cryptography appeared to be widespread, ranging from discussions about
- 2:18removing information about himself from online search engines to network security. Well, yeah,
- 2:26if you want to move in the shadows, you want
- 2:28to be opaque, then controlling your online profile seems like
- 2:34a pretty good way to go. I mean, look at
- 2:37the shooter from Las Vegas, right Paddock no social media
- 2:41profile whatsoever or footprint at least according to the government.
- 2:46But if you're going to do something crazy and you're
- 2:49going to get involved in something like, oh, I don't know,
- 2:53human trafficking and gun running and bundling money for the
- 2:56most powerful people in the world, probably a good idea
- 3:00to have some hackers involved at the very least have
- 3:04access to them so that you can get their help
- 3:07for whatever kind of crazy bullshit you're up to. So
- 3:11it certainly makes sense that Jeffrey Epstein would want to
- 3:14attend def Con and maybe meet some new hackers or
- 3:18people that he could add to the fold. We all
- 3:22know that he loved to collect people. Jeff Moss, founder
- 3:25of both the black Cat and def Con conferences, told
- 3:29Political in his statement that it's unlikely Epstein actually made
- 3:32it to the conference. As far as we can tell,
- 3:36he wanted to attend, but never did. Moss set of Epstein,
- 3:39it looks like there were a lot of plans and
- 3:42I'm just waiting for some sort of evidence that he
- 3:45followed through on them. All Right, Well, I don't know
- 3:47one way or the other if he went a black
- 3:49hat or def Con. I mean, but it definitely tracks,
- 3:53and it wouldn't be shocking to me if he didn't
- 3:55go there, that he was recruiting people anyway who might
- 3:59have been attending, certainly within his capacity and certainly within
- 4:03his sphere, right And when you understand that information acts
- 4:08like currency to people like this, then it certainly shouldn't
- 4:11be a shock to anybody that they'd be looking to
- 4:14add some hackers to their team. According to the released emails,
- 4:18Epstein first made plans to attend Defcon for a few
- 4:21hours in August of twenty thirteen to meet with Pablos Holman,
- 4:26who at the time worked on various tech and cyber
- 4:29projects at private equity company Intellectual Ventures. It's unclear whether
- 4:34Epstein and almost a dozen of his guests obtained tickets
- 4:38for Defcon, or if Epstein attended. It appears that Epstein
- 4:42and Holman had been in touch since twenty ten, according
- 4:46to emails. Epstein in twenty ten emailed cryptography researcher Ian
- 4:51Goldberg and said Holman suggested we speak. Holman also planned
- 4:56to stay in Epstein's apartment while visiting New York City
- 4:59in twenty thirteen and advised Epstein on how to bury
- 5:03negative stuff online. A hell of a guy. Huh, let's
- 5:07help a convicted child abuser bury stuff online? What kind
- 5:14of disgusting, degenerate derelict do you have to be? Oh,
- 5:18I'll help somebody like Jeffrey Epstein directly into a helicopter
- 5:22for a trip to a volcano to throw his ass in.
- 5:25That's about as far as that help goes. A spokesperson
- 5:30for the University of Waterloo, where Goldberg works within the
- 5:33School of Computer Science, confirmed to Politico that Goldberg turned
- 5:37down the offer from Epstein in twenty ten to fund
- 5:41his work at the university. Holman, who currently serves as
- 5:45a general partner at venture capital group Deep Future, did
- 5:49not respond to multiple requests for comment. And that's what
- 5:53they're gonna do. They're going to try and wait it
- 5:54out once again, because that's the tried and true strategy
- 5:57for these people, just way for the next disaster to
- 6:01roll in. If we just keep our head down, if
- 6:03we just ignore people asking questions, Oh, we'll be fine,
- 6:07everything will be great. That's how they think. And it's unfortunate,
- 6:11but that strategy has worked time and time again for
- 6:14these people since the beginning of time. Joi Ito, the
- 6:19current president of Japan's Chiba Institute of Technology and former
- 6:24director of the Massachusetts Institute of Technologies Media Lab, appears
- 6:29to have introduced entrepreneur and researcher Vincenzo Iazo via email
- 6:34to Epstein in twenty fourteen. According to emails, Itto stepped
- 6:38down from his role at MIT in twenty nineteen, when
- 6:43previous disclosures revealed Ito had accepted about one point seven
- 6:47million from Epstein for the lab and his own investment funds.
- 6:52Spokespersons for a Chiba Institute of Technology did not respond
- 6:55to a request for comment on Ito's connections to Epstein.
- 7:00Edo previously apologized for his association with Epstein and stress
- 7:05that he was never involved, never heard him talk about,
- 7:07and never saw any evidence of the horrific acts that
- 7:11he was accused of. Well, no no idea, no idea
- 7:15that a convicted sex offender is a sex offender. The
- 7:19smartest people in the room, sure are fucking stupid, aren't they?
- 7:23All these MIT people, all these high IQ individuals. What
- 7:29a bunch of jerkofs. Either your liars or you're not
- 7:32as smart as you make yourselves out to be, which
- 7:35one is it? According to the emails, Iazo, who currently
- 7:41serves as CEO of identity management company slash Id, discussed
- 7:45obtenning tickets for Epstein to attend Defcon conferences in Vegas
- 7:50in twenty sixteen and twenty eighteen. Iazzo previously served in
- 7:55roles at cybersecurity company CrowdStrike and as a board member
- 8:00for the annual black Hat Conference. Now, CrowdStrike is interesting,
- 8:05especially considering their role when it comes to the whole
- 8:08entire Russia Gate. So when you see these tentacles connect,
- 8:13it really starts to make sense. Right, all of this
- 8:16is connected, and all these people they're all connected too.
- 8:20And so we know that the tentacles are there. The
- 8:22only question is how far do they reach and where
- 8:25do they go? He also planned to meet with Epstein
- 8:28at his New York City home on at least five
- 8:30occasions in twenty fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, and eighteen. Remember
- 8:37in the Sopranos when Veto got caught at the gay
- 8:40bar and he says to sal what it was a joke.
- 8:44I was here. I'm waiting for that excuse from these
- 8:48people that were around Epstein what it was a joke.
- 8:52I was here. I mean, come on, or maybe they'll
- 8:56just show up with a doctor's note. Remember when Vito
- 8:58said to Tony, I can I had a note from
- 9:00my doctor. I mean, that's the kind of absurdity we're
- 9:04dealing with here. Oh, I had no idea. I never
- 9:07met the guy. What are you talking about, bro? You
- 9:09were scheduled to go there five separate times. You mean
- 9:12to tell me you never went, not once. So if
- 9:16you're lying about the little things, I automatically assume that
- 9:19you're lying about the big things. And I try to
- 9:22give everybody the benefit of the doubt. Notice I haven't
- 9:25been talking about people's names that have been revealed, like
- 9:28by ro Conna and Thomas Massey. That's because I couldn't
- 9:31verify those names. So I only talk about the things
- 9:34that I feel like we can verify. But I find
- 9:38it very hard to believe, very hard to believe that
- 9:42Jeffrey Epstein and mister Iazo hardly knew each other. One
- 9:47email sent by Epstein's IASO ahead of the twenty sixteen
- 9:51conference noted he wanted to bring guests, including former Israeli
- 9:55Prime Minister at Wwood Barrock, American billionaire Tom Pritzker, and four.
- 10:01It's not clear if Epstein attended the conference that year
- 10:04or met with Barack, Pritzker, or Iazzo. Well, we all
- 10:08know that Pritzker was credibly accused by Virginia Roberts of
- 10:12abusing her. So not only hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein,
- 10:17you're hanging out with somebody that's allegedly taking part in
- 10:20the abuse. Hell of a squad. Huh oh. And by
- 10:24the way, we're gonna bring four girls. Oh and also,
- 10:27by the way, I'll be bringing Prime Minister at who
- 10:30Barock with me? Another person who was credibly accused of
- 10:35abusing Virginia Roberts. Hell of a conference, you guys got here.
- 10:41A spokesperson for Barrock told Politico that the former Prime
- 10:45Minister did not attend def Con in twenty sixteen, and
- 10:48further noted that Epstein never asked him to attend. The
- 10:52spokesperson stress that Barack has repeatedly and publicly stated that
- 10:57he deeply regrets having any association with jeff Epstein. Oh,
- 11:01shut the fuck up, save the bullshit. Did you deeply
- 11:07regret it? When you were making dough with carbine? Software,
- 11:12or how about promised software, or how about any of
- 11:14the other nonsense the two of you were up to.
- 11:16Did you profit from that? Pretty sure you did. Separate
- 11:20spokespersons for Hyatt Hotel, where Pritzker serves as executive chairman
- 11:25of the board of directors, and for the Pritzker Organization
- 11:29did not respond to a request for comment. Epstein again
- 11:33discussed attending Defcon in twenty eighteen, which Iaso also offered
- 11:38to procure tickets for. According to the emails, ahead of
- 11:43the twenty eighteen convention, Epstein requested to meet with founder
- 11:47of Black Hat, but Iaso wrote in an email that
- 11:50this person turned down the meeting due to what's out
- 11:53there online about Epstein. Whoever that person is, kudos to them.
- 11:58Imagine Epstein trying to show up to any adventure at
- 12:01no matter who you are, and try and cozy up
- 12:03to you, talk about fucking gross and talk about catching
- 12:07a charge because I'm punching them directly in the face
- 12:11without a question, not even a question, not a discussion,
- 12:14not a question on site. It's all fun in games
- 12:17until you get punched directly in the mouth. The founder, however,
- 12:21was happy to provide Epstein with tickets to the event,
- 12:23Iazo wrote, it's unclear if Epstein was referring to Moss
- 12:28or someone else. Moss told Politico in a statement that
- 12:32he turned down Vincenzo's badge request for Epstein and advised
- 12:36Vincenzo to stay clear of the disgraced financier. Moss noted
- 12:41that it's possible Isaso bought passes to the conference. Everly,
- 12:44you know, like everything else, it's opaque, right, it's ambiguous.
- 12:49All we have is circumstantial evidence, and we have to
- 12:51try and put the pieces together. Did he go or
- 12:54didn't he go? An FBI file released by the Justice Department,
- 13:00first reported by tech Crunch, suggested that Epstein had a
- 13:03personal hacker who developed offensive cyber tools that were sold
- 13:08to several unnamed governments. It's unclear if the information provided
- 13:12by the unnamed informant to the FBI is accurate. Look,
- 13:16take everything with a grain of salt. There's a lot
- 13:19of wild accusations right now, a lot of things that
- 13:23I've never even heard. Now, does that mean they're not true?
- 13:26Of course not. I'm not the be all end all.
- 13:29I'm still learning every day. There's a lot to you know,
- 13:32dive into and there's a lot of pieces to put together,
- 13:35but there's certainly a lot of claims out there that
- 13:37I had never heard ever. And like I said from
- 13:40the jump, a lot of that is by design. Remember
- 13:44the way they dump those documents. They wanted it to
- 13:47be confusing. They know the vast majority of people don't
- 13:50know what to look for, they don't know what to
- 13:52key in on, so they're gonna look for salacious information.
- 13:56And when that information starts becoming popular or starts getting shared,
- 14:00you'll have people like Todd Blanche point at it and say, look,
- 14:03it's all a big conspiracy theory. This is all crazy,
- 14:06and that was by design. And that's why I told you,
- 14:10don't fall for the salacious bullshit the side quests, and
- 14:14instead stay focused on what we know, or at least
- 14:17what the circumstantial evidence is showing us. And there's plenty
- 14:21of people to pursue. How about we start with Sarah
- 14:23Kelln Vickers and Leslie Groff and Adriana Ross and Nadia
- 14:28marson Kova and anybody else who might have been recruiting
- 14:33and procuring girls for Jeffrey Epstein that was over the
- 14:36age of eighteen. Pretty simple right, doesn't seem hard to me. Now,
- 14:41of course, there's always circumstances. If somebody was groomed as
- 14:45a child, you have to look at the whole entire
- 14:47picture right now. If you came in and you were
- 14:50over eighteen, and you were bringing other girls to Jeffrey Epstein,
- 14:54especially underage girls, there's a dark pit in hell for
- 14:58you too. But we have to be be very careful
- 15:01when we're talking about that. There's a lot of confusion
- 15:04and a lot of inflation about who's what and who
- 15:07isn't what. And that's why it's crucial that these emails
- 15:12are all unsealed. Anyone that was sending emails to Jeffrey Epstein, anybody,
- 15:17that email should be unsealed. If there were over eighteen,
- 15:20that email should be unsealed. That way, we can get
- 15:23rid of the confusion, right, get rid of the confusion,
- 15:26because there's sure is a lot of it, and it's
- 15:28rather obvious that there's a ham fisted attempt as we speak,
- 15:32to try and reframe this story and gaslight people into
- 15:36thinking that these women, the vast majority of them, were involved,
- 15:41and that is certainly not the case. And that's why
- 15:43I'm saying unsealed the emails. Do you really think girls
- 15:46that were fourteen from Florida kept a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein?
- 15:50I highly doubted folks. And what about the girls with
- 15:53no names? Should we forget about them? Girls from South America,
- 15:57girls from Russia, girls from Ukraine? What because are not American?
- 16:00I shouldn't give a fuck. Sorry, I give a fuck.
- 16:04And every last person that was preyed upon by Jeffrey
- 16:07Epstein and his disgusting friends, they all deserve justice and
- 16:12there's no amount of gaslighting that's ever going to change that.
- 16:15Ayazo said that he did not provide Epstein with exclusive
- 16:19access to the Defcon and Black Hat conferences and did
- 16:22not know if Epstein actually attended either event. I unfortunately
- 16:26knew Epstein for professional reasons. Iazo said, I wish I
- 16:30did not. We were introduced by people whom I trusted
- 16:33and admired when I was twenty five fundraising from my
- 16:36startup in twenty fourteen. Because of this, I failed to
- 16:40ask the right questions, questions that in retrospect seem obvious.
- 16:44I foolishly accepted the narrative that was presented to me
- 16:48by others that greatly minimized the magnitude of his horrific crimes.
- 16:52That's bullshit. He went in with his eyes wide open.
- 16:56All these people did. Oh, I had no idea the
- 16:58magnitude of his crime. Yo, procuring a miner for prostitution
- 17:02is a small crime. Now listen, if he got a
- 17:05regular prostitution charge solicitation, I'd be like, look, degenerate dude,
- 17:11but nothing to see here. That's not what this is.
- 17:15And the people that try to make this into that
- 17:18are some of the most devious pieces of shit out there. Look.
- 17:22I have no problem with people digging for the truth.
- 17:24That's what we should all be doing. But I do
- 17:27have a problem with people who are intentionally trying to
- 17:30muddy the waters. I regret the past association and take
- 17:34full responsibility for not exercising greater judgment at the time,
- 17:38he added. Epstein's interest in black hat and defcon conventions
- 17:43began years after he had been convicted of and jailed
- 17:47for soliciting sex from miners in two thousand and eight.
- 17:51Following his incarceration, Epstein reportedly took steps to scrub references
- 17:56to his conviction from the Internet with the help of
- 17:59cyber professionals. Yeah, I'll secle who is now dead by
- 18:03the way, like I was saying earlier, an unfortunate fall
- 18:06from a cliff. Ah, no big deal, just another coincidence, folks,
- 18:11It's time to move on. Like do these people even
- 18:14listen to themselves? Epstein was again arrested and charged with
- 18:19sex trafficking miners in twenty nineteen, though the federal case
- 18:23was formally dismissed in August twenty nineteen following his death
- 18:27by suicide, allegedly in jail while awaiting trial. I love
- 18:32how they're just like by suicide. Oh okay, cool, you
- 18:35got those facts for us, let's see them. And I
- 18:37don't mean the OIG report. And what's wild is you
- 18:41have people who spent the last eight years, last six
- 18:44years complaining about the government being corrupt, who all of
- 18:47a sudden, well, now they believe the FBI and they
- 18:51believe the government. The government can do no wrong. Folks,
- 18:54be very, very cautious of people who only rage against
- 18:58the machine when the other quote on quote team is
- 19:01in power. Because I got news for you. The machine
- 19:05doesn't give a shit about you, your kids, or your life,
- 19:09no matter who the president is. And the sooner that
- 19:12we all understand that nobody's coming to save us. The
- 19:15better off we're all gonna be. All of the information
- 19:20that goes with this episode can be found in the
- 19:23description box.
