Welcome to nature daily wager. I ain't picking winners but I am
• 0:10
making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:20
July 5th, 2026. Got that one right and I got the
• 0:25
game right last night, much as I was thinking, didn't know what
• 0:29
the heck was going to happen. It was going to go back and
• 0:31
forth. Neither team was going to want
• 0:32
to win and that's exactly what happened.
• 0:34
Came down to the end. I was happy I had 3 1/2.
• 0:36
I was a little worried there. Then I was hoping somebody,
• 0:39
anybody, somebody would Shank a kick or two.
• 0:42
  That happened. That was great.
• 0:44
I mean, that whole game was just that was the Ravens and the
• 0:47
steal in a nutshell right there, right?
• 0:50
Neither team did what they should have to win.
• 0:53
They did everything possible to lose.
• 0:56
They showed flashes of brilliance at time, complete
• 0:59
ineptitude at other times. Yet right there at the end, both
• 1:03
somehow had a chance to win and both also did what they could to
• 1:07
lose. And just eventually the clock
• 1:08
ran out and somebody was ahead. So got the win.
• 1:11
That's what I'm happy about on the board.
• 1:13
One and three on the season, but we pressed forward.
• 1:16
Three and one on the date though, or no one on the date.
• 1:19
All right, tonight, looking at some basketball, some NBA,
• 1:22
looking out West, I guess in the middle of the country, we got
• 1:25
the Suns taking on the Rockets. Suns coming off a huge victory
• 1:30
last night. Big comeback against the
• 1:32
Thunder, the number one team in the league that was very
• 1:35
emotional, very physical, took a lot out of them, put a lot into
• 1:39
them emotionally. And now you got it back-to-back
• 1:41
the next day. You got to travel.
• 1:42
Oh, that's just the recipe for a let down.
• 1:44
So tonight they're playing in Houston.
• 1:46
  Houston's giving up 8 1/2. I'm fine with that.
• 1:49
This, like I said, this just got let down.
• 1:51
Written all over it. Double digits.
• 1:53
No problem for Houston tonight. So that's where we're going.
• 1:55
  That's where we're going. Houston Rockets -8 1/2 against
• 1:59
the Phoenix Suns in tonight's NBA basketball action.
• 2:03
See anything better than that? Found it.
• 2:04
That's my pick and I'm sticking to it.
