  Speaker 1: learned throughout the devotion, throughout the thirty one day Devotion

  Speaker 1: this book is not to replace the Bible, but it's

  Speaker 1: to supplement the Bible, to go along with the Bibles,

  Speaker 1: that preyer line. But I'm gonna go ahead and get

  Speaker 1: started this morning. So I just wanted to say that Shannette,

  Speaker 1: thank you for all that you do, and just continue

  Speaker 1: to allow God to use you. Just being obedient, y'all,

  Speaker 1: five days, we have journeyed together, diving deep into God's words,

  Speaker 1: stretching out faith and laying a foundation for a stronger

  Speaker 1: spiritual walk. Through reflection, discussion, and prayer. We have uncovered

  Speaker 1: truths that illuminate who God is and who we are

  Speaker 1: called to be. We have explored God's promises, his character,
• 5:37
  Speaker 1: his plan for us. And now we reach a pivotal moment.

  Speaker 1: How do we move from understanding and insight to living
• 5:45
  Speaker 1: it out, living those truths in our everyday lives. Today

  Speaker 1: it's about turning biblical wisdom into transformation through practical application, meditation, consistency,

  Speaker 1: and reflection. Scriptures Today is going to be coming from

  Speaker 1: James one and twenty two, and it's going to be

  Speaker 1: coming out of the NIV version. It say, do not

  Speaker 1: merely listen to the word and so deceive yourself. Do

  Speaker 1: of our daily bives. The word of the day is application.

  Speaker 1: Application simply means to apply, to put into practice. This

  Speaker 1: is our call today, tomorrow, and every day to come

  Speaker 1: not just to know the word, but to live the word. Y'all.

  Speaker 1: So today we're going from insight to action, living out

  Speaker 1: the spiritual insight practical strategies. One, we have to take

  Speaker 1: one's truth at a time, focus on applying a single

  Speaker 1: verse a biblical practice each day. For example, if you're
• 7:22
  Speaker 1: reading about kindness, seek ways to encourage or help someone.

  Speaker 1: This is scripture. This is scripture that comes from First

  Speaker 1: John three and eighteen. It says, let us not love
• 7:34
  Speaker 1: with words or speech, but with actions and in truth. Again,

  Speaker 1: I say, let us not love with words and speech,
• 7:43
  Speaker 1: but with action and truth. That's first John three eighteen.

  Speaker 1: Start small, be intentional, and let your truth God your

  Speaker 1: actions transform your attitude and actions. Let God word shape

  Speaker 1: the way you think, speak, and behave in school, at home, online,

  Speaker 1: everywhere you go. The scripture says in Romans twelve and two,

  Speaker 1: it said, do not conform to the patterns of the world,

  Speaker 1: but be transformed to the renewing of your mind. We

  Speaker 1: ask yourself, how can I let God transform my attitude

  Speaker 1: and actions on today? Faith in every aspect welcomes God

  Speaker 1: into all areas of our lives, your decisions, your friendships,

  Speaker 1: your dreams, even your struggles. Pray over every plan and

  Speaker 1: trust Him especially in setbacks. Understand According to Proverbs three

  Speaker 1: five and six, it says, trust in the Lord with

  Speaker 1: all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.

  Speaker 1: But in all your ways submit unto Him and He

  Speaker 1: will direct your path. Let faith move you. Be moved

  Speaker 1: by words in your choices, but let faith move beyond

  Speaker 1: your words. Your choices, in your plans. Allow God to

  Speaker 1: lead you. That's why He left the Holy Spirit with

  Speaker 1: reserve and dedicate time each day stripture, prayer, and reflection,

  Speaker 1: day and night. Start every day if you don't, only

  Speaker 1: five minutes, y'all, five minutes of your time to just

  Speaker 1: honor God and be consistent with it. We've been on

  Speaker 1: this prayer line for the last five years. We get

  Speaker 1: up at five am and we pray. We pray over

  Speaker 1: the prayer list, we pray over everyone that's on there,

  Speaker 1: and we just pray. N see. Not only that, y'all.

  Speaker 1: You gotta spend time writing down these things. You should

  Speaker 1: journal your growth, record lessons, prayers, victories, and struggles so

  Speaker 1: that you can see it. Manifest journaling helps you see

  Speaker 1: God's hand over time and celebrate your progress. If you

  Speaker 1: got things that you're struggling with, write those things down

  Speaker 1: so that you can see as God grow you in

  Speaker 1: those areas I will remember in his word Psalm seventy

  Speaker 1: seven and eleven. He say, I will remember the deeds

  Speaker 1: of the Lord. Yes, I will remember your miracles of

  Speaker 1: long ago. Remember what he done for those in the Bible.

  Speaker 1: Pick it up, read it, Understand that what he did

  Speaker 1: God's Word is shaping your life. Your testimony can be

  Speaker 1: the source of encouragement and first testimony in five minut

  Speaker 1: and eleven and say, therefore, encourage one another and build

  Speaker 1: each other up, just as in fact you are doing, y'all.

  Speaker 1: Every day we come on these lives. Every day we

  Speaker 1: share these devotions, y'all, we are sharing something with somebody

  Speaker 1: else that can help somebody else. And that's what we're

  Speaker 1: supposed to do. We're supposed to be help makes one

  Speaker 1: to another accountability. Connect with friends and mentors for a

  Speaker 1: regular encouragement and support group. The scripture says iron sharpens iron,

  Speaker 1: so one person sharpens another Proverbs twenty seven and seventeen. Y'all,

  Speaker 1: we're supposed to be helpmates one to another, helpmates one

  Speaker 1: to another. And while we are doing that, spend time

  Speaker 1: with him. Meditate and reflect. There is power and stillness.

  Speaker 1: six and ten. That is a commandment, that is an instruction,

  Speaker 1: How do you do this? Techniques? There's breast prayers in hell,

  Speaker 1: God's truth. Exhale your words, stripture, meditation, repeat a verse,

  Speaker 1: slowly listen to God's voice. Then listening and silently listen.
