  Speaker 1: I was skeptical of him at first when I heard

  Speaker 1: the voicemail because he mentioned he was a big fan

  Speaker 1: of the show I wanted to go see the movie,

  Speaker 1: think Chad's really funny. And now that to me scared

  Speaker 1: to come. And so we meet at the theater and um,

  Speaker 1: we were going to see a six six fifty movie

  Speaker 1: here in Manhattan. Listen, I lived in Connecticut for seven years.

  Speaker 1: It's been a long time since I had to buy

  Speaker 1: tickets in advance for a movie. You're used to private
• 2:20
  Speaker 1: screenings in the mansion exactly, or you know, all access
• 2:24
  Speaker 1: floor seats. And uh. I get to the theater and

  Speaker 1: we meet. We meet Jeff, and he's great and we're
• 2:31
  Speaker 1: talking and he laughs at everything I say, and you know,
• 2:33
  Speaker 1: we're joking around, and I think he's the best guy ever.

  Speaker 1: And then I think all right, I'm just gonna go
• 2:38
  Speaker 1: and get the said black check. I'm gonna go get
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: the tickets. You talk to Jeff and I get to
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: the counter and the movie sold out. Yep. We invited
• 2:47
  Speaker 1: a guest who got on a train from New Jersey
• 2:50
  Speaker 1: and came to Manhattan to watch The Stars Born with
• 2:53
  Speaker 1: the two of us, and Chad didn't get tickets in advance.

  Speaker 1: I panicked a little bit in that moment. I'm not
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: gonna lie to you. Uh. I started to sweat. I
• 3:01
  Speaker 1: felt really bad because it was a crappy night out.
• 3:04
  Speaker 1: It was like it was raining hard and it's not
• 3:06
  Speaker 1: you know, that's a long train ride from Mendam, New Jersey.
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: I know where it is, having lived in Montclair, New
• 3:11
  Speaker 1: Jersey for a long time, And um, I panicked a
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: little bit. So then I immediately went to my phone
• 3:17
  Speaker 1: and I was looking around. The next movie at that
• 3:19
  Speaker 1: theater wasn't playing until after eight, and it's a two
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: and a half hour movie past my bedtime. But also
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: I'm thinking about Jeff, like he's not getting out of
• 3:27
  Speaker 1: there until like eleven, and then he's got to take
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: the train back. Luckily, I found it playing at a
• 3:33
  Speaker 1: theater minutes later. That was like fifteen blocks away, so
• 3:36
  Speaker 1: we were able to go see it the tally. The tally,
• 3:41
  Speaker 1: uh Will Fetters had me the over under on me
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: crying it too. I cried it three times. You cried
• 3:46
  Speaker 1: four times. Second seeing uh Will Fetters said that, um,
• 3:52
  Speaker 1: we would cry he uh he set a line on
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: when we cry a shallow desperately like, oh my god.

  Speaker 1: I could not when like when she emots, I couldn't
• 4:12
  Speaker 1: even like because it's not just the way she's singing it,

  Speaker 1: but like she is so surprised that she is Ali

  Speaker 1: on that stage singing that song. Um, the performance of

  Speaker 1: Charlie the Dog, Will thought we'd cry at that. Didn't

  Speaker 1: that one got me? I didn't expect it to either.

  Speaker 1: But there's a scene towards the end of the movie

  Speaker 1: where Bradley Cooper gives the dog a steak, and man,

  Speaker 1: that one just hit me like a ton of bricks. Didn't.

  Speaker 1: I didn't expect that, But it did did nothing for me?

  Speaker 1: Didn't that cry almost There's another scene in the movie

  Speaker 1: where Charlie lays down on the ground that almost got me.

  Speaker 1: That I was like, the last ten minutes for me
• 4:53
  Speaker 1: was just one long crop you were sniffling, like Jeff

  Speaker 1: kept saying to me, like, is he okay? Because like

  Speaker 1: you were you were? I was between the two. But Jeff,

  Speaker 1: I know you're listening. You're dead inside. I mean, this

  Speaker 1: guy watched this movie twice and didn't shed a tear

  Speaker 1: and looked at us crying and was basically laughing at

  Speaker 1: Um Lady Gaga obviously when we cried at her performance

  Speaker 1: because of shallow and also just because she's astonishing in

  Speaker 1: the movie. All in all, I feel like, for the
