- 0:18Speaker 2: No, she's not where I'm at Hawaii.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Oh nice? Where in Hawaii are you?
- 0:26Speaker 2: So I'm saying, hawaiki ki, I'm here for work, which
- 0:28Speaker 2: I will say, I don't know if I would have
- 0:30Speaker 2: planned a workship. I've never been here before, and I'm
- 0:32Speaker 2: actually busy, and I'm like, I should have added another
- 0:34Speaker 2: week for a vacation. But it's lovely here. But yeah,
- 0:37Speaker 2: I'm reporting from Hawaii. It's only three forty five. I
- 0:39Speaker 2: got it. I got it.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Okay, all right, So where where are we?
- 0:44Speaker 2: So we're going to talk about the secret lives of
- 0:45Speaker 2: More Minds. But before I forget Gina, we I need
- 0:48Speaker 2: to ask you. Are you reading Yesteryear? Yes? Did you
- 0:51Speaker 2: read it? Are you going to read it? Okay? We
- 0:53Speaker 2: need to talk about this. So for the guys, this
- 0:55Speaker 2: is a novel about a trad wife that wakes up
- 1:01Speaker 2: in the past. Anyway, so if you want, Gina, are
- 1:04Speaker 2: you done yet?
- 1:06Speaker 1: I've got like, I don't know, ten more pages left.
- 1:09Speaker 1: I'm almost done.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Okay, I'm going to put this on our list for
- 1:11Speaker 2: next week and we can add like another moment. But
- 1:13Speaker 2: I think you and I need to talk about this
- 1:15Speaker 2: and prepare people for spoilers. But anyway, I have so
- 1:18Speaker 2: many thoughts.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it's my it's my book club book this month,
- 1:22Speaker 1: so people are reading it. Oh we're reading Shakespeare's Sonnets.
- 1:26Speaker 2: In my book lib Oh my god.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Sorry, no, no.
- 1:34Speaker 2: No, we'll use we'll talk about it and I am
- 1:36Speaker 2: at Pentameter. Then okay, all right, I'll start writing my segments.
- 1:40Speaker 2: So anyway, so but also we're just going to talk
- 1:42Speaker 2: about Taylor and Dakota again.
- 1:44Speaker 1: So here we go.
- 1:45Speaker 2: But okay, let's talk about the book and those of
- 1:47Speaker 2: you that are listening read the book, and Gene and
- 1:49Speaker 2: I will talk about it. I'm a mini book clubs.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Oh my god. Okay, all right, So this week I'm
- 1:53Speaker 2: going to talk about episode five of Mormon Lives. It's
- 1:57Speaker 2: called the Book of Power and Pain, but I want
- 1:59Speaker 2: to call it. Why is Dakota even here? Because yes,
- 2:05Speaker 2: the load of Dakota and so the the mom talk
- 2:10Speaker 2: and dad talk are in La to watch Jen and
- 2:14Speaker 2: Whitney film the premiere of Dancing with the Stars. So,
- 2:17Speaker 2: but this is mostly about Taylor and Dakota drama. So
- 2:20Speaker 2: what happens is they're staying at this big, you know
- 2:22Speaker 2: house in LA and they're, you know, they're all hanging out,
- 2:26Speaker 2: and then Taylor actually invited a random guy over and
- 2:30Speaker 2: then and then Dakota gets very jealous. And then, just
- 2:33Speaker 2: like you do, the next morning, when everybody gets up,
- 2:36Speaker 2: Dakota and Taylor are in bed together because after getting
- 2:39Speaker 2: jealous and fighting, and then Taylor says there was some
- 2:42Speaker 2: moment where she's watching she kept getting emotional where she
- 2:45Speaker 2: said she was watching Dakota and he reminded her of
- 2:49Speaker 2: her son right that she has him. She and she
- 2:51Speaker 2: just got very emotional. I don't know anyway. So what
- 2:53Speaker 2: I what I want to go through is all the
- 2:55Speaker 2: reasons why why are you in bed with Dakota? So
- 2:58Speaker 2: I have a picture that I shared where productions asking her.
- 3:01Speaker 2: You can see that Taylor puts her head in her hands.
- 3:04Speaker 2: She knows like she's not dummy, but she keeps making
- 3:07Speaker 2: these dumb decisions and so different things that she says
- 3:10Speaker 2: about their relationship, and the other people in mom Talk
- 3:13Speaker 2: and Dad Talks say about this is maybe there's this
- 3:16Speaker 2: trauma bond. Obviously it's toxic. There's some jealousy going on,
- 3:21Speaker 2: possessive myths, and one thing that Taylor she says is
- 3:24Speaker 2: she says she always regrets it when they get together,
- 3:26Speaker 2: but it doesn't stop this like toxic cycle. And then
- 3:30Speaker 2: Dakota doesn't know what he wants. Some people think there's
- 3:33Speaker 2: some codependency, and then somebody speculates, you know, that they
- 3:38Speaker 2: want to be with each other, but possible.
- 3:41Speaker 1: I don't know why I can't quit you. Yeah, it
- 3:43Speaker 1: is that.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Yes, what did you say, Gina.
- 3:48Speaker 1: It is that I can't quit you.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes, and so and then but Jesse does
- 3:53Speaker 2: her armchair psychology and she thinks it's because of Taylor's
- 3:56Speaker 2: daddy issues, which because of the teaser for the next
- 3:59Speaker 2: episode where actually I think we're setting that up, so whatever,
- 4:03Speaker 2: and then I've Taylor going to do some research on that.
- 4:06Speaker 2: So and then someone does wonder if she's self sabotaging,
- 4:09Speaker 2: because what's going on right now in timeline wise, is
- 4:12Speaker 2: she's getting ready to film The Bachelorette. And I really
- 4:15Speaker 2: appreciate Miranda's insights about what's going on here, because you know,
- 4:18Speaker 2: she's been through a divorce or she's trying to get
- 4:21Speaker 2: she's separation and she can see what's going on. And
- 4:24Speaker 2: I thought that was an interesting observation about Taylor not
- 4:27Speaker 2: only being caught up in this toxicity, but if she's
- 4:30Speaker 2: self sabotaging and she's getting ready to film the Bachelorette.
- 4:33Speaker 2: And then the direct quotes from Taylor, I don't know
- 4:35Speaker 2: why I get angry so fast because of that seems
- 4:38Speaker 2: to draw them towards each other. And then you know,
- 4:41Speaker 2: and then they anyway, they didn't skip pulled into each
- 4:43Speaker 2: other's orbit. And then she says she does say it's
- 4:46Speaker 2: like a drug, like this toxic relationship. So she's reflective,
- 4:49Speaker 2: but she's not making changes. And then a little bit
- 4:52Speaker 2: more that I'm calling, oh geez about six Quota and Taylor.
- 4:56Speaker 2: So the group is actually they're getting annoyed, especially Mom
- 5:00Speaker 2: talk but Dad talk to right, because here they are
- 5:02Speaker 2: hooking up again, and so in their separate groups like
- 5:05Speaker 2: what are you doing? And so at like a group dinner,
- 5:09Speaker 2: Macie says, I have a picture of this that production
- 5:12Speaker 2: put a caption on that she's tired of this people
- 5:15Speaker 2: sleeping with the wrong people, and because it is affecting
- 5:18Speaker 2: the group. Oh my god, you guys are yes, you
- 5:24Speaker 2: just put that on your you're literal to do with.
- 5:28Speaker 2: So Taylor one of the things that I'm like, oh
- 5:31Speaker 2: my god. Taylor has this conversation with Miranda and Layla,
- 5:35Speaker 2: and Miranda's like, are you on birth control? And Taylor's like,
- 5:38Speaker 2: I don't like birth control. I'm fair about I'm fair
- 5:42Speaker 2: about the hormonal issues, but like because of her you know,
- 5:45Speaker 2: social practices, yes, you should be careful. And she makes
- 5:49Speaker 2: a joke about finding her third baby daddy on the Bachelorette.
- 5:54Speaker 2: That's not fun. You children doing any more children into
- 5:59Speaker 2: this city? No so and then and then Mathee says
- 6:04Speaker 2: this relationship is draining my soul. And then Randa says like,
- 6:08Speaker 2: and I think maybe foreshadowing she does one more thing
- 6:12Speaker 2: like this on mom Talk could break it, right because
- 6:14Speaker 2: they have these they have these cycles, this drama, and
- 6:17Speaker 2: it's pretty toxic, and I think Randa might be onto something.
- 6:21Speaker 2: The last picture I shared is, uh, Dakota does have
- 6:25Speaker 2: to sit down with Taylor trying to talk this through
- 6:29Speaker 2: and uh and he he says he's worried about Taylor
- 6:32Speaker 2: getting triggered, which I don't appreciate because he's blaming her
- 6:35Speaker 2: for what's going on with them, but he he knows
- 6:38Speaker 2: how to push her buttons and she gets going, and
- 6:42Speaker 2: he could also stay away, like they don't have to
- 6:44Speaker 2: keep going back and forth with each other. So I
- 6:46Speaker 2: would just like to say, dear Dakota, it's not just
- 6:48Speaker 2: Taylor's fault things.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I know, you know, I get the impression that these
- 6:54Speaker 1: really aren't serious people. No, they're not.
- 6:58Speaker 2: No, they're so focused on go ahead, and I just
- 7:02Speaker 2: I don't know why just dawned on me.
- 7:03Speaker 1: They're just.
- 7:05Speaker 2: We're fours into secret lives of hormon wives and bills
- 7:10Speaker 2: having deeps took him a little.
- 7:13Speaker 1: While, but I think I've caught on.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Now it's all right. You could join Dad talk. So
- 7:20Speaker 2: just a couple of things that are not about Taylor
- 7:22Speaker 2: and Dakota. So Macy's getting ready to publish a book,
- 7:25Speaker 2: and those of us who know in Utah she gets
- 7:27Speaker 2: this call about King's English is mad at her because
- 7:31Speaker 2: she books the event she books going there to promote
- 7:34Speaker 2: her book, and she's not doing what she has to
- 7:37Speaker 2: do on social to promote the book. And I do
- 7:39Speaker 2: think this is insightful for people who think you can
- 7:42Speaker 2: just get on TikTok and Instagram and make money. Like
- 7:45Speaker 2: it is a business that you have to work through
- 7:48Speaker 2: and there's a tension that people give you and there
- 7:51Speaker 2: obviously if everyone could do it, they would, and you can't.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Not everyone can handle the pressure of this. So anyway,
- 7:55Speaker 2: I thought that was interesting, and then something happened to Jesse.
- 7:58Speaker 2: But Jesse's boring, so I'm not talking thought with them,
- 8:02Speaker 2: and then dad Talk really needs to get fired, like
- 8:05Speaker 2: this is I just can't Jordan is such a tool
- 8:09Speaker 2: and he's he's stealing things from mom Talk, which mom
- 8:11Speaker 2: Talk in conventional says, why if he's taking our stuff
- 8:14Speaker 2: and trying to move the story along, I'm not going
- 8:15Speaker 2: to get into it right now. It's just dumb. They
- 8:17Speaker 2: need to go so anyway, and then one thing I
- 8:22Speaker 2: want to add to is, you know, for those of
- 8:23Speaker 2: us who do love our reality TV, it is interesting
- 8:25Speaker 2: to see these relationships like what leads to the to
- 8:29Speaker 2: whatever happens with the fall. Those of us that are
- 8:31Speaker 2: watching Summer House and the drama on vander Pump Rules,
- 8:33Speaker 2: you know, we hear about these things that happen and
- 8:36Speaker 2: then watching it play out. For those of us that
- 8:37Speaker 2: are fans. It's interesting, but also like they need to
- 8:40Speaker 2: figure out their well.
- 8:41Speaker 1: We got to wrap it up of Victoria's.
- 8:42Speaker 2: So my drinking game is this is why we can't
- 8:45Speaker 2: have nice things. So you're going to take a drink
- 8:48Speaker 2: each time someone says Taylor Dakota less with their hearts.
- 8:51Speaker 2: They're such a mess and and we'll just have to
- 8:53Speaker 2: see if they take everyone down with them. So yeah,
- 8:56Speaker 2: follow me on Instagram at Doji mpath and you can
- 8:58Speaker 2: see my adventures in Hawaii.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I expect to get pictures of you taking surfing lessons.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Oh no, I might not come home.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Bye, we'll see I mean a lohaw
