- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous, It's Lala Kent. Welcome to untraditionally Lala. Hey, babes,
- 0:07Speaker 1: it is Lala Kent coming to you live well, like
- 0:10Speaker 1: it's not live coming to you live from Montana.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Hi, guys, it's Amber.
- 0:15Speaker 1: We have to share a mic. Today's the first day.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Amber has been waking up at the crack of dawn
- 0:21Speaker 1: every single day. And last night I was like, she said,
- 0:25Speaker 1: I would really like to sleep well tonight. So I
- 0:28Speaker 1: was like, let's take a unisalm. She said, I don't
- 0:31Speaker 1: want to be groggy in the morning. I said, we'll
- 0:32Speaker 1: both take the tiniest little corner And how do you
- 0:35Speaker 1: feel today?
- 0:36Speaker 2: I couldn't get out of bed and that's why we're
- 0:37Speaker 2: podcasting from bed.
- 0:39Speaker 1: We slept until eight thirty, yeah, which is I'm like,
- 0:45Speaker 1: this is so how my life goes, though, Like on
- 0:47Speaker 1: the days that I can sleep in, I don't because
- 0:52Speaker 1: the baby wakes up at the crack of dawn. And
- 0:55Speaker 1: then the days that I can't sleep in, I'm sleeping
- 0:59Speaker 1: like a baby and everyone's chilling. I'm like, are you
- 1:03Speaker 1: fucking kidding me?
- 1:04Speaker 2: The way it goes And you know what the craziest
- 1:05Speaker 2: thing is, both of your kids. They're so good. Like
- 1:09Speaker 2: when Sosa stays in her bed for a long time,
- 1:11Speaker 2: which is amazing. No, and she hasn't even I was
- 1:14Speaker 2: like worried that she was gonna crawl out of her
- 1:16Speaker 2: back and play.
- 1:17Speaker 1: I was.
- 1:17Speaker 2: I was afraid she was gonna like figure out a
- 1:19Speaker 2: way to get out. But when my kids were little
- 1:20Speaker 2: and they were your age, I would be up at
- 1:22Speaker 2: like five thirty and I'm like, how many hours until
- 1:26Speaker 2: Target opens? That's the only place I know that opens
- 1:29Speaker 2: that I could walk around and not be miserable. Or
- 1:31Speaker 2: I can go with like the elderly people at the
- 1:33Speaker 2: mall that just do laps around the mall.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Yeah, that's but your kids are you've trained them well.
- 1:39Speaker 1: My friend Sosa gets like a full twelve hours every
- 1:44Speaker 1: single night of at least bedtime, because I need twelve
- 1:48Speaker 1: hours to recoup.
- 1:49Speaker 2: She wakes up starving, no matter why she's so hungry.
- 1:51Speaker 2: She lived, this kid, by the way, she is a
- 1:53Speaker 2: bottomless pit. And when she is finished, she goes right
- 1:57Speaker 2: back into the kitchen wants more. I've never seen anything
- 1:59Speaker 2: like it.
- 2:00Speaker 1: I know. And when you see her naked, she's got
- 2:02Speaker 1: this tiny little bum, these stick legs, these little lanky
- 2:06Speaker 1: arms and then just like the cutest little pop belly.
- 2:09Speaker 1: She's so cute. It is a lot, though, you guys.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I mean, I'm pretty sure. So I noticed, I'm gonna
- 2:16Speaker 1: tell them about my humps. I'm really embarrassed.
- 2:19Speaker 2: It's okay, it's okay.
- 2:23Speaker 1: So, like maybe a month ago, I was showering and
- 2:28Speaker 1: Amber was brushing her teeth and I looked down at
- 2:30Speaker 1: my vagina and I was like, why is one side swollen?
- 2:35Speaker 1: And then I start panicking because I feel it and
- 2:37Speaker 1: it's like this like fatty pad. But what's weird is
- 2:41Speaker 1: every time I lay down, it goes away, and it
- 2:45Speaker 1: hadn't been hurting. I went into my obie. I said
- 2:48Speaker 1: to Amber, I was like something. She was like, it's
- 2:50Speaker 1: probably just like swollen lymph nodes or something. I had
- 2:54Speaker 1: just gotten Amber's and chat gpt saying top fatty. Part
- 2:58Speaker 1: of the vagina's.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Specific name is called mom's pubis. It's the mum's pubis.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Is the rounded, fatty pat of the tissues above the
- 3:07Speaker 2: pubic bone. There's an actual thing and like as women,
- 3:10Speaker 2: as we age and then we have babies, we store
- 3:13Speaker 2: fat there. So that's why it gets a little hold.
- 3:15Speaker 1: The mic for a sec.
- 3:17Speaker 3: So the vagina is like a thing like this.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Right upside down triangle. Yeah, this is your mum's pubis
- 3:23Speaker 2: right here.
- 3:24Speaker 3: And this is where the fatty pad is.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Okay, just on one side, just.
- 3:27Speaker 1: On one side. And so I call my obie because
- 3:32Speaker 1: I gave it like a week, then two weeks and
- 3:34Speaker 1: it was still there. And I go in. He feels around.
- 3:37Speaker 1: He's like, honestly, I don't it could be from your
- 3:41Speaker 1: the new IUD that we put in. It doesn't. I
- 3:44Speaker 1: start panicking that it's like cancer or something. He's like,
- 3:49Speaker 1: I don't feel like it's that. He said, Let's get
- 3:51Speaker 1: you through one more cycle. If it does and it's
- 3:53Speaker 1: not hurting then and it's still there after that cycle,
- 3:57Speaker 1: then I'll call in a an ultras. I have zero patients.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Two days past I texted my doctor. I was like,
- 4:05Speaker 1: I really just want to go in for the ultra sound,
- 4:07Speaker 1: so I need to call today because I'm thinking it
- 4:09Speaker 1: could be a hernia. But then, but then I fucking
- 4:13Speaker 1: bend over the other day and I look in the
- 4:16Speaker 1: mirror and I've in La in La. This was probably
- 4:21Speaker 1: a few days before I came to Montana and where
- 4:25Speaker 1: my dimples are on my back is like this swollen
- 4:29Speaker 1: bump and it wasn't hurting at first. I got to
- 4:32Speaker 1: Montana I said, Amber, I have a fucking hump. What
- 4:37Speaker 1: is this? And she was like, oh my god, that's crazy.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Does it hurt? I said no. Cut to last night.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I'm like, it's killing me. It feels so hurdy. So
- 4:47Speaker 1: you know what I think it is. I think it's
- 4:50Speaker 1: from picking up sosa all day long. I think I
- 4:53Speaker 1: have a fucking hernia, and I think I have discs
- 4:56Speaker 1: that are out of place in my back.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a problem.
- 4:59Speaker 1: I think I'm lifting because here's the thing. When I
- 5:01Speaker 1: work out with Jenna, she does my form right, there's
- 5:05Speaker 1: no one doing.
- 5:06Speaker 3: It's called sacrum.
- 5:07Speaker 2: This is the spot on your lower back between the
- 5:09Speaker 2: two dimples is usually over the sacrum. Okay, I think
- 5:14Speaker 2: gets from lifting weights and then in the kiddos, for sure,
- 5:20Speaker 2: you're falling apart.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Can it? Will it go away? I can't have ash
- 5:24Speaker 1: cheeks and then a fucking back up? Are you kidding me?
- 5:27Speaker 2: You did say you want to be beyond? What if
- 5:28Speaker 2: it's just like a fatty pocket.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I'm like Chandler being except for having three nipples. I
- 5:35Speaker 1: have three ash cheeks. Oh my god, my worst nightmare.
- 5:40Speaker 1: I can't do it from behind.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Gone too. It's like a saddle, you know that middle part.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Fuck you, fuck you. I can't do it from behind
- 5:47Speaker 1: right now? Are you joking? And I have to do
- 5:50Speaker 1: it with people who I'm very comfortable with, who I
- 5:52Speaker 1: can obsess over my hump before they get all up
- 5:55Speaker 1: in my hump. For real, I'm dying anyway, I'll keep
- 5:59Speaker 1: you guys posting. I'm gonna I'm gonna call Rothbart today
- 6:02Speaker 1: and ask him what my frontal hump is.
- 6:04Speaker 2: You got something going on in the front humpcause something
- 6:06Speaker 2: going on back.
- 6:10Speaker 1: I have had the most wonderful time in Montana. First
- 6:14Speaker 1: of all, I really want to thank you Amber for
- 6:16Speaker 1: allowing us. We got here on the first, We're staying
- 6:20Speaker 1: until the seventh. That's a long time for you to
- 6:24Speaker 1: host us.
- 6:25Speaker 2: In your mind, it is, it's a long time. No,
- 6:28Speaker 2: it's great. I come and crash you at your house
- 6:30Speaker 2: in La for five days.
- 6:33Speaker 1: You're one person. I came with my kids pack and
- 6:36Speaker 1: plays sent you out to Target to get a car
- 6:38Speaker 1: seat all the things I.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Actually forgot how to install a car seat. And then
- 6:42Speaker 2: when I go. I was like, I don't even know
- 6:43Speaker 2: how I'm gonna have to like pull up YouTube to
- 6:45Speaker 2: install the car seat. And so I met, you got
- 6:48Speaker 2: a car here, so we obviously I went to there before,
- 6:52Speaker 2: had everything installed and it just came second nature to me.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Like I was so easy.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Was it like riding a bike?
- 6:59Speaker 2: Yes, I was like, I cannot believe I remembered how
- 7:02Speaker 2: to freaking do. This is amazing. And then then of
- 7:04Speaker 2: course we had like a massive rainstorm in the afternoon,
- 7:07Speaker 2: and then it rained, and then you came. And it's
- 7:09Speaker 2: been so nice having you as here and honestly, the kids.
- 7:13Speaker 2: So in the mornings we wake up, we have coffee,
- 7:16Speaker 2: but the kids go outside. They've been going outside and
- 7:19Speaker 2: playing with chalk. And by the way, who knew. I
- 7:21Speaker 2: was like, you know, I was just at the grocery
- 7:22Speaker 2: store getting groceries before you came, and I was like,
- 7:24Speaker 2: I'll just buy some chalk and bubbles. Chalk has been
- 7:27Speaker 2: a hit you guys. If you don't what to do
- 7:29Speaker 2: with your kids during the summer, buy some fucking chalk.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Your whole driveways covered.
- 7:34Speaker 2: No, it's amazing.
- 7:35Speaker 1: We worked our way down the pathway. She had me
- 7:38Speaker 1: trace her like she was a dead person. She's very
- 7:42Speaker 1: obsessed with death. Yesterday she asked me if she was
- 7:45Speaker 1: watching Mowana and the grandmother comes to the boat in
- 7:50Speaker 1: spirit form, and she goes, Mom, if your mom died,
- 7:54Speaker 1: would you be sad or would you be fine? I
- 7:57Speaker 1: was like, when people die some kind of a big deal.
- 8:00Speaker 2: But yesterday we went to Yellstone National Park with the
- 8:02Speaker 2: kiddos and we saw Duda da da.
- 8:06Speaker 1: You guys, my little la babies mostly just ocean becausos.
- 8:12Speaker 1: It doesn't know where the fuck she is right now.
- 8:14Speaker 1: She saw We'll save the best for last, the bison,
- 8:18Speaker 1: which was such a huge deal because they were right
- 8:20Speaker 1: on this side. Like had I stuck my hand out,
- 8:23Speaker 1: I could have touched it. It was right there. She
- 8:27Speaker 1: saw that, she saw antelope, she saw a coyote, she
- 8:31Speaker 1: saw moose, and we were lucky enough to see not
- 8:35Speaker 1: only a black bear but a brown bear. You guys.
- 8:39Speaker 2: It was incredible And I was telling her I just
- 8:41Speaker 2: went on a trip from Bozeman to Casper, Wyoming, and
- 8:46Speaker 2: I took the long route instead of going through Billings, Montana.
- 8:48Speaker 2: I went through the park with a couple other friends,
- 8:51Speaker 2: and it was eight and a half hours of the park,
- 8:53Speaker 2: we saw nothing except bison. And we went in the
- 8:58Speaker 2: park yesterday in maybe drove like an hour into the
- 9:02Speaker 2: park and saw all of that. It's really incredible, like
- 9:05Speaker 2: that is so rare, and that's the point. You just
- 9:07Speaker 2: never know what you're gonna see when you go in there.
- 9:09Speaker 1: I know, but I'm so thrilled about this, Like Ocean's
- 9:12Speaker 1: gonna go the thing that we were sitting outside. Amber
- 9:17Speaker 1: took London to the Hot Springs after we went to
- 9:21Speaker 1: Yellowstone and I decided to bring my family back to
- 9:25Speaker 1: the house. We ordered Domino's pizza eight on your front porch.
- 9:29Speaker 1: It was just like, I'm having the best time. This
- 9:31Speaker 1: place is magical. But we were talking about our day
- 9:34Speaker 1: and I told Ocean because she said we were in
- 9:37Speaker 1: the car for a very long time today. I said,
- 9:40Speaker 1: I understand, and you were really amazing, like you did
- 9:43Speaker 1: such a great job in the car. But I want
- 9:44Speaker 1: you to remember, like what you saw today. You saw
- 9:48Speaker 1: a black and brown bar And she was like, yeah, mom,
- 9:50Speaker 1: And can I tell you I didn't see them at
- 9:53Speaker 1: a zoo. I did not see them at an aquarium.
- 9:56Speaker 1: I did not see them at a mall. I saw them.
- 9:59Speaker 1: I said in their natural habitat. She was like, no,
- 10:02Speaker 1: I saw them in actual nature. I was like, yes,
- 10:06Speaker 1: it did. So the fact that she like pieced that together,
- 10:10Speaker 1: it was a very proud moment for me. Yeah, you know,
- 10:13Speaker 1: I love that because I'm constantly telling her, like, we
- 10:15Speaker 1: don't go to places like that.
- 10:17Speaker 3: No, it's so good for the kids. I wish I
- 10:20Speaker 3: did that with my kids.
- 10:20Speaker 2: When they were younger. Now my kids are like, oh,
- 10:23Speaker 2: that's a bear, that's nice. Next and they want to
- 10:25Speaker 2: like go back to their phones. I'm like, oh my god,
- 10:28Speaker 2: they don't appreciate it at this age.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Do you think it's the the age, because I feel
- 10:34Speaker 1: like it's more so technology rather than age these days.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Like I think I had a deeper appreciation for certain
- 10:43Speaker 1: things when I was London and Riley's age, because you
- 10:48Speaker 1: didn't have the technology that you have in front of you,
- 10:50Speaker 1: Like what could you do on your that's true, do
- 10:52Speaker 1: anything on your phone?
- 10:53Speaker 2: Yeah? No, I think you're right. I think you're right.
- 10:55Speaker 2: I think London was. Lon was very good yesterday. I was.
- 10:57Speaker 2: I was worried having her in the back of the
- 10:59Speaker 2: car for that long, but she did, she was fine.
- 11:02Speaker 2: I think there it's just the age. It's technology.
- 11:04Speaker 1: It's like the whole thing, the whole thing, like combined. Yeah,
- 11:08Speaker 1: and the thing is is you have helped me, like
- 11:13Speaker 1: what you because my kids are obviously much longer, younger,
- 11:17Speaker 1: you've been through this phase, but you've also noticed that,
- 11:20Speaker 1: like technology has come into play, Like what I can do?
- 11:24Speaker 1: You can't change things, but hopefully you can refine certain
- 11:28Speaker 1: decisions or like you saying, I wish I would have
- 11:32Speaker 1: done that, like you relay those things to me so
- 11:35Speaker 1: that I can implement them with my.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Kids one hundred percent. Yeah, no, you I have to
- 11:39Speaker 2: say this trip like you are such a good mom.
- 11:42Speaker 2: It's it's you have so much patience and you do,
- 11:47Speaker 2: oh my gosh, you do. You may not feel like it,
- 11:50Speaker 2: but like you're dealing with a five year old and
- 11:52Speaker 2: a two year old and ocean has a ton of energy.
- 11:56Speaker 2: SOSA is like energy time twenty. Like it's tough and
- 12:02Speaker 2: going on, Like this is considered a vacation. And I always
- 12:05Speaker 2: tell this, like moms need vacations after vacations because they're
- 12:09Speaker 2: not really they're like family trips. It's not even technically
- 12:13Speaker 2: a vacation in my opinion, until the kids get older,
- 12:16Speaker 2: and like they could just you know, it's it's the
- 12:19Speaker 2: whole thing. I'm looking at your your pile of shoes.
- 12:23Speaker 2: It's not a pile, by the way, there's a pile
- 12:25Speaker 2: of clothes that makes me and that makes me feel safe,
- 12:28Speaker 2: like we talked about last night. But like all the
- 12:30Speaker 2: nikes in a row, Like you forget how much stuff
- 12:34Speaker 2: you have when the kids are little, Yeah, but.
- 12:36Speaker 1: I I have. I'm very, very particular, and my biggest
- 12:43Speaker 1: nightmare is the day that you decide to leave. You
- 12:47Speaker 1: have to spend all of this time figuring out where
- 12:49Speaker 1: you put everything. So when I get to my destination,
- 12:53Speaker 1: like when we wear something, it gets put into a
- 12:57Speaker 1: dirty clothes pile to go in a separate bag, or
- 13:00Speaker 1: gets put back in the suitcase. Like I don't want
- 13:03Speaker 1: to spend time trying to find my shit.
- 13:05Speaker 2: No, you have to stay organized when you travel, that's
- 13:07Speaker 2: for sure. You have to.
- 13:08Speaker 1: It's because they are all over the place. My kids
- 13:10Speaker 1: have been really, really good. And the fourth of July
- 13:14Speaker 1: I'll get into like a lot of you guys saw
- 13:17Speaker 1: my post on socials about our Montana trip and have
- 13:22Speaker 1: said like how incredible my mom looks, And my mom
- 13:26Speaker 1: does look beautiful, I'll give you guys an update there.
- 13:30Speaker 1: But she's not the same person, right.
- 13:32Speaker 2: No. I even asked London and she's like, when it
- 13:34Speaker 2: feels really bad, yeah, she's like, Lisa's not who she
- 13:38Speaker 2: was when I knew her, yeah, even four years ago.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:41Speaker 1: No, it's very sad. And it happened overnight. I mean
- 13:43Speaker 1: even your mom was like, I wonder if there was
- 13:47Speaker 1: maybe like a small stroke that happened. I don't know.
- 13:51Speaker 1: We'll find out. As of right now. Her blood work
- 13:54Speaker 1: has come back fine, but I'm getting her brain scanned
- 13:58Speaker 1: and her spine scanned, and then we're going to go
- 14:02Speaker 1: from there because it's something that like I can't figure out.
- 14:05Speaker 1: And every time I take her to a doctor, they're like,
- 14:08Speaker 1: it seems fine. It could just be from post surgery.
- 14:11Speaker 1: But my mom is telling me it doesn't feel that.
- 14:13Speaker 2: It does not listen. I'm not a professional. That's not
- 14:17Speaker 2: post surgery. Whatever's going on with your mom is not.
- 14:20Speaker 2: It's so much more than just like the physical. I
- 14:24Speaker 2: just have heard that people when they have hip replacement, right,
- 14:29Speaker 2: they feel like they can run a marathon. Your mom
- 14:31Speaker 2: is gone, and that's really interesting that my mom brought
- 14:33Speaker 2: that up, only because my nana had a stroke and
- 14:36Speaker 2: she probably sees similar thing. But let's not jump to conclusion.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Let's just do you know what, Let's get the brain
- 14:42Speaker 2: scan and take it one one step at a time.
- 14:46Speaker 2: But we need Lisa back, that's for sure. Yeah, But honestly, so,
- 14:50Speaker 2: we were sitting around the fire at the end of
- 14:52Speaker 2: fourth of July and we were asking you said to
- 14:56Speaker 2: your mom, We're like, mom, hey, mom, did you have
- 14:58Speaker 2: a good time? And She's like, I might have had
- 15:01Speaker 2: the best Fourth of July I've ever had. And then
- 15:03Speaker 2: she just started like crying, and I was like, oh
- 15:06Speaker 2: my god, it was so beautiful to see her, Oh.
- 15:14Speaker 1: What are you thinking?
- 15:15Speaker 2: What made you cry?
- 15:19Speaker 1: Like I'm obviously really worried about my mom, And it
- 15:25Speaker 1: made me happy to hear her say that, because she's
- 15:28Speaker 1: just not the same human. But then also like it
- 15:33Speaker 1: was the best for us, Like it was just it
- 15:38Speaker 1: just felt so rooted and sweet and like your cute
- 15:43Speaker 1: boyfriend like hosting so many of us, you know, and
- 15:48Speaker 1: you guys working so hard to like make it special
- 15:52Speaker 1: for the kids, and then like walking out his property
- 15:56Speaker 1: is insane, you guys, like I've never seen anything like this,
- 16:01Speaker 1: but like walking back and the families playing baseball. It
- 16:07Speaker 1: just felt it just felt so sweet to me, Like
- 16:11Speaker 1: I think in La you can get really caught up
- 16:13Speaker 1: and all of the shit and like what parties you
- 16:16Speaker 1: went to and who invited you where and who was there,
- 16:19Speaker 1: And this just felt very much like two families, which
- 16:25Speaker 1: then you think about where we came from, right, like
- 16:31Speaker 1: how this all started and you guys don't know much
- 16:35Speaker 1: about it, but that entire piece of our life and
- 16:39Speaker 1: that story and how we got here. A lot of
- 16:42Speaker 1: trauma was inflicted, not just on me and Amber, but
- 16:46Speaker 1: on our families. You know, everyone suffered tremendously. It was
- 16:52Speaker 1: a lot to pick up the pieces, and we're still
- 16:55Speaker 1: picking up the pieces. But like to sit there on
- 16:57Speaker 1: the fourth and watching Amber's mom sitting there with my
- 17:02Speaker 1: mom talking, and then like Amber's dad, Billy chasing Sosa
- 17:08Speaker 1: and like walking her around the orchard, and then like
- 17:13Speaker 1: him walking towards me with her in his arms. It
- 17:15Speaker 1: was like, Wow, what a beautiful life that you and
- 17:21Speaker 1: I worked really hard to create and that's not easy.
- 17:26Speaker 1: And like your family being so kind to me and
- 17:28Speaker 1: my family, because I feel like sometimes it's when something
- 17:32Speaker 1: is done to you, it's kind of easier to forgive.
- 17:36Speaker 1: But when someone does something to your baby, like you're
- 17:39Speaker 1: your mom and dad's baby, and the fact that they
- 17:41Speaker 1: could be around me and be so kind and be
- 17:44Speaker 1: kind to my kids and be kind of my mom,
- 17:46Speaker 1: it's just really sweet.
- 17:50Speaker 2: I love you.
- 17:52Speaker 1: No here we are podcasting in your bed, like it's
- 17:55Speaker 1: really amazing.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it's been such a beautiful I'm so oh happy.
- 18:00Speaker 2: I had that moment yesterday when I was cooking for
- 18:02Speaker 2: everyone in the kitchen. I was like, I'm freaking happy,
- 18:07Speaker 2: like I'm happy. I love love having you guys here.
- 18:11Speaker 2: It's been the best trip. In the parade that we
- 18:14Speaker 2: went to in Livingston was I have never experienced a
- 18:17Speaker 2: small town parade, and I kept like looking at you, going,
- 18:19Speaker 2: I feel like I'm in a movie, like a lifetime movie.
- 18:22Speaker 1: I did feel very lifetime, right, and everyone's so sweet
- 18:26Speaker 1: and like these kids in the middle of the street
- 18:29Speaker 1: like throwing a football. It's obviously Livingstone was much smaller
- 18:34Speaker 1: than Salt Lake, but it reminds me of the moments
- 18:38Speaker 1: that I had growing up, and I'm like, my kids
- 18:40Speaker 1: get to experience this because there's nothing like it. When
- 18:43Speaker 1: I think back to like the fourth of July or Christmas,
- 18:47Speaker 1: any sort of holiday back home. It's just a different
- 18:51Speaker 1: feeling right that LA cannot offer now.
- 18:56Speaker 2: I feel like also as a mom, I feel so
- 18:58Speaker 2: much pressure, like you want to give your kids the
- 19:02Speaker 2: best experience, and I feel like this just came easy,
- 19:07Speaker 2: going to the parade, going to nothing like a lot. No,
- 19:10Speaker 2: it wasn't a production. And I feel like in the past,
- 19:12Speaker 2: in other relationships that I've been in, it's like all
- 19:15Speaker 2: Fourth of July, like who's having the party? What do
- 19:18Speaker 2: I have to bring? Or if you're hosting them? It
- 19:19Speaker 2: just felt easy, and that's the way these holidays should be.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Even with Mother's Day, I feel the same way. I'm like,
- 19:27Speaker 2: I hate Mother's Day. It just feels like the word
- 19:30Speaker 2: of this expectation and I'm like, I just wanted to
- 19:32Speaker 2: come and go and like I'll celebrate myself as a
- 19:35Speaker 2: mom in my own way, and you have these expectations
- 19:37Speaker 2: for your kids. But Fourth of July it just has
- 19:40Speaker 2: been such a just such an easy, great, fantastic trip.
- 19:55Speaker 1: You know what else I loved because the one thing
- 19:59Speaker 1: that I was nervous is oceans out that age where
- 20:01Speaker 1: like she knows it's the fourth of July, we're not
- 20:04Speaker 1: staying for fireworks because in Montana, you guys, it is
- 20:08Speaker 1: nine thirty and it is still wide outside and I'm like,
- 20:11Speaker 1: my kids cannot rock it until ten they can, It's
- 20:15Speaker 1: gonna be a nightmare. Like aggression starts seeping it with
- 20:18Speaker 1: Sosha so so it starts grabbing shit and throwing it
- 20:22Speaker 1: and like even though she's smiling, it's like time for pession.
- 20:25Speaker 1: It's like demon hour, a demon hour, the witchy hour happens.
- 20:29Speaker 1: So we come back to the house. Amber in London
- 20:32Speaker 1: come back as well. I put Ocean in her bed
- 20:35Speaker 1: and I hear this like popping outside. I open the window.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Amber's got this big window at the front of her
- 20:42Speaker 1: house and that's the room Ocean staying in and you
- 20:45Speaker 1: can see all the fireworks happening everywhere.
- 20:48Speaker 2: It's incredible.
- 20:49Speaker 1: It was amazing an Ocean. I wish you would have
- 20:52Speaker 1: been up there because she was like, this is the
- 20:54Speaker 1: most beautiful thing, mom. And I bet if those people
- 20:57Speaker 1: that went to the hill, if they could watch it
- 20:59Speaker 1: from there, they would choose this instead. What hill. You
- 21:03Speaker 1: know how we saw all those people that were walking
- 21:05Speaker 1: to the big hill over there, like parking their cars
- 21:07Speaker 1: and whatever.
- 21:08Speaker 2: It's like storybook. That's like storybook.
- 21:10Speaker 1: She was like, I'm like, I know you think those
- 21:13Speaker 1: people would be trekking to that hill if they could
- 21:15Speaker 1: watch it from their bed like you. And then she
- 21:18Speaker 1: told me I watched them all night into this morning.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Like her mother party animal.
- 21:24Speaker 1: I was like, I know you did not light and
- 21:28Speaker 1: fireworks at nine am. Oh, it was just this whole
- 21:32Speaker 1: trip has been amazing, to the point where I'm like,
- 21:34Speaker 1: if you decide to stay, because I know you have
- 21:38Speaker 1: this house for another year, if you decide to be like,
- 21:43Speaker 1: you know what, I'm gonna keep a place here and
- 21:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna bounce back and forth, that I really would
- 21:48Speaker 1: look into, like getting something cute and easy and bringing
- 21:52Speaker 1: my kids here for the summer because it's just it's magical.
- 21:55Speaker 2: You never know. That's what drew me to this place.
- 21:58Speaker 2: When I came here, it was exactly year ago, visiting
- 22:00Speaker 2: my little sister. I flew into Boeman and just Y
- 22:04Speaker 2: even the drive out from Bozeman to Livingstone is it's amazing.
- 22:09Speaker 2: And what's so great is that the last couple days
- 22:11Speaker 2: it has been really warm, but in the afternoon we
- 22:13Speaker 2: get these very cool thunder showers and it just cools
- 22:18Speaker 2: everything off, I know, and it feels so good. You
- 22:20Speaker 2: smell the rain, you smell the trees. It's like Sosa
- 22:25Speaker 2: has lived on the front grass this trip more than
- 22:28Speaker 2: she has inside. I think, oh, my.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Kids have been outside. We just leave that front door
- 22:32Speaker 1: open and everyone. I mean, your setup is amazing. Your
- 22:35Speaker 1: setup is amazing. And that front porch swing that I
- 22:38Speaker 1: took a two hour, I mean, I've never knapped like
- 22:40Speaker 1: that ever in my life. I was freaking clocked out.
- 22:44Speaker 1: This sounds really really sad and bad, but this is
- 22:47Speaker 1: the first time that Sosa's felt like real grass before,
- 22:53Speaker 1: because when I took her, when I the parks in
- 22:56Speaker 1: La are like a little grimy, you know that.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Well, I wouldn't. I just would not want my kids
- 23:01Speaker 2: to run around barefoot in the I know. It sounds
- 23:04Speaker 2: so weird.
- 23:04Speaker 1: To say, oh, you don't. It doesn't well for people
- 23:08Speaker 1: who don't live in LA, Like, no, you don't let
- 23:10Speaker 1: your kids run around barefoot in the freaking park where
- 23:12Speaker 1: there's grass.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Well, and a lot of people in LA don't pick
- 23:15Speaker 2: up their dog poop, and it's so irritating to me.
- 23:17Speaker 1: It's very irritating. This is like a story book. People
- 23:20Speaker 1: walking their dogs, kids laughing, and then when the fireworks
- 23:25Speaker 1: were going off, I didn't even have to question if
- 23:27Speaker 1: it was a gunshot or fireworks, Like I just knew.
- 23:30Speaker 1: You're like in La. I'm like, what exactly was that?
- 23:35Speaker 1: Then you hear the helicopter and you're like, oh, all right,
- 23:38Speaker 1: that's what.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Lock the doors. And then across the way, you guys,
- 23:43Speaker 2: I have this dog park that's like three acre dog park.
- 23:46Speaker 2: It's the most beautiful dog I thought. People in La
- 23:49Speaker 2: love their dogs. People in Montana love their dogs.
- 23:54Speaker 1: And by the way, the dogs look very happy. There's
- 23:57Speaker 1: something in their eyes. Yeah, you know, dogs in La
- 24:01Speaker 1: looking a little sad.
- 24:03Speaker 2: They're like these streets are rough.
- 24:06Speaker 1: They've got like a door collar on, but I mean miserable,
- 24:10Speaker 1: similar to the people just kidding. Let me tell you.
- 24:12Speaker 1: I will say this. I love it here. But you
- 24:15Speaker 1: were asking me, is there something that you What was
- 24:18Speaker 1: the question?
- 24:18Speaker 2: What's something you always remember when you leave Los Angeles?
- 24:22Speaker 1: How much I love Los Angeles?
- 24:24Speaker 2: You're so full of shit?
- 24:25Speaker 1: I do. I know when I come here or when
- 24:29Speaker 1: I travel to other places, I'm like, I need a
- 24:32Speaker 1: place here because you just need something to like, like,
- 24:34Speaker 1: I feel grounded I love La so much as home base.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Because I know how much you love Taylor Swift. Let's
- 24:52Speaker 2: talk about the wed my god, let's talk about it.
- 24:57Speaker 2: I mean the fact that they had Adam saying I'm
- 24:59Speaker 2: a huge Adam Sandler fan. He's fantastic.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Can I tell you the best compliment I've ever received
- 25:04Speaker 1: ever When I appeared on the Valley and I'm like
- 25:09Speaker 1: standing in the archway watching Danny and Nia go at
- 25:13Speaker 1: it or whatever, and the amount of people that said
- 25:17Speaker 1: that I was in Adam Sandler Garb. I was like,
- 25:20Speaker 1: this is the greatest complement of my life. They're like,
- 25:23Speaker 1: Lala Ken ready to go in on Danny and full
- 25:26Speaker 1: Adam Sandler Garb is giving me life.
- 25:28Speaker 2: And I did.
- 25:29Speaker 1: I looked like him. I'm obsessed. There's something very sexy
- 25:33Speaker 1: about him too.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I keep going. So I saw a photo on Instagram.
- 25:39Speaker 2: It was of by the way, everybody was there. It
- 25:44Speaker 2: was like they went through the.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Famous people of Hollywood and invited everybody.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Oh wait, accept except Blake and Ryan they were invited.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Wait what about these two Miles Teller and Kaylee?
- 26:05Speaker 2: No absence?
- 26:07Speaker 3: Wow?
- 26:10Speaker 2: I mean, but by the way, Tom Hanks.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Steven Paul McCartney. Okay, that makes sense.
- 26:16Speaker 2: I mean, come on, did all of these people actually go? Yes?
- 26:20Speaker 1: They did?
- 26:22Speaker 2: They did? I mean, you get you get j Lo.
- 26:26Speaker 2: So Adam Sandler officiated the wedding. I saw a picture
- 26:31Speaker 2: of the granny. Was the granny there? You know the
- 26:35Speaker 2: granny on Instagram that where's all pink and she gives
- 26:37Speaker 2: relationship advice.
- 26:37Speaker 1: He's not a real person.
- 26:39Speaker 2: That's a I wait.
- 26:42Speaker 1: What the one who's like bitch? If he doesn't, Yes,
- 26:45Speaker 1: that's not a real woman. It's not Amber. I love
- 26:49Speaker 1: you so much right now.
- 26:50Speaker 2: But I thought I saw a machine gun Kelly getting
- 26:52Speaker 2: out of the lima with her at the wedding.
- 26:53Speaker 1: That's a I was.
- 26:55Speaker 3: It was MGK there he was there.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Wow, this is like a real legit wedding with famous people. Okay,
- 27:02Speaker 1: I have some thoughts. Yes, what was it on the
- 27:04Speaker 1: fourth of July?
- 27:06Speaker 2: I think it was on Friday the third.
- 27:08Speaker 1: They shut down like a bunch of major streets, where
- 27:11Speaker 1: like people in New York were very pissed because they're like,
- 27:13Speaker 1: how the fuck are we supposed to get from point
- 27:15Speaker 1: A to point B? Why are you doing this wedding?
- 27:18Speaker 1: Fourth of July weekend? Are you fucking kidding me.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Right now, it's a weird time to do a wedding.
- 27:23Speaker 2: I have to say, it's a.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Weird time guests had to use QR code to get in.
- 27:30Speaker 2: I mean, come on, that's ridiculous. You know what, It's
- 27:33Speaker 2: not for me. I don't want to throw shade, but
- 27:35Speaker 2: that's definitely want.
- 27:36Speaker 3: To throw shade because you don't want the Swifties to come.
- 27:37Speaker 1: For you, right, I don't even know.
- 27:40Speaker 2: I just I it has nothing to do with the
- 27:43Speaker 2: Swifties or not. All I'm saying is that it seems
- 27:47Speaker 2: that seems like a very modern day wedding. My vision
- 27:50Speaker 2: of my second, my first wedding, e elopes on the
- 27:53Speaker 2: wedding to even have a wedding, but like it is
- 27:55Speaker 2: going to be very different when you start having QR codes.
- 28:00Speaker 2: It just doesn't sit right with me.
- 28:02Speaker 1: I just expected her, because her music is so sweet
- 28:06Speaker 1: and heartfelt, for it to be very like whimsical and sweet,
- 28:11Speaker 1: and it just feels like a production, almost like a concert,
- 28:15Speaker 1: maybe a music video.
- 28:17Speaker 2: And you know what, watch what happens. She's gonna video it,
- 28:20Speaker 2: and she's gonna sell it to Netflix, and she's gonna
- 28:23Speaker 2: make like a billion dollars and everyone's gonna This reminded
- 28:27Speaker 2: me when when I was little, when Princess Diana got married.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Did you watch that? I was very young, I remember,
- 28:35Speaker 2: you know what, maybe it's video I remember of her wedding,
- 28:38Speaker 2: But do you remember how just it was just so
- 28:42Speaker 2: over the top. But it wasn't like QR codes.
- 28:45Speaker 1: QR codes didn't exist.
- 28:47Speaker 2: And by the way, it was a real castle. It
- 28:49Speaker 2: wasn't a made castle that was put together by the
- 28:53Speaker 2: same people who probably put on her concert at Madison
- 28:55Speaker 2: Square Garden.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Okay, so I'm gonna roll with the fact that she
- 28:58Speaker 1: probably wants to make a billion dollars off of it,
- 29:00Speaker 1: and you know what, I can get behind that. Let's
- 29:04Speaker 1: take that off the table though. And I love Taylor Swift.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Like I've talked about it, I wasn't a huge fan
- 29:09Speaker 1: of hers, meaning like I wasn't a When I say
- 29:12Speaker 1: I wasn't a fan, it's not like I disliked her.
- 29:14Speaker 1: I just didn't really know much about her and I
- 29:16Speaker 1: didn't listen to her music. Having ocean. I'm glad artists
- 29:21Speaker 1: like Taylor Swift exists. However, I'm really bummed out about
- 29:30Speaker 1: this wedding. It feels a little emotionally stunted. Did she
- 29:34Speaker 1: turn msg they built her a castle inside? It just
- 29:38Speaker 1: feels weird, like a fifteen year old girl, actually younger
- 29:43Speaker 1: than that, be like I want to play pretended, I'm
- 29:45Speaker 1: gonna get buried in a catsule. To an NFL player,
- 29:49Speaker 1: it's like, oh my god, how do you think he felt?
- 29:53Speaker 2: Do you really think he rolled up and was like, hey, mom,
- 29:55Speaker 2: gets what a marrying Taylor Swift, which is, by the way,
- 29:58Speaker 2: great on him.
- 29:59Speaker 1: I mean, fucking flag.
- 30:00Speaker 2: He fucking scored big time.
- 30:02Speaker 1: I just don't know if he likes her that much.
- 30:06Speaker 2: I mean, we shall see. We all know how these
- 30:09Speaker 2: Hollywood marriages don't last. Except Tom Hanks. Tom Hanks and
- 30:17Speaker 2: Rita they.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Are they married Mary.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Yeah, they've pulled the distance.
- 30:21Speaker 1: They have gone the distance, but again and Adam Zammer,
- 30:24Speaker 1: by the way, old school, you can't find love like
- 30:28Speaker 1: that anymore. I don't think. There's this couple in Real
- 30:33Speaker 1: Housewives of Rhode Island and they've been together for like
- 30:36Speaker 1: twenty plus years, Liz and Jerry is Hers Gary. It's hard.
- 30:41Speaker 1: It's kind of like Jersey, where everyone's Joe Joey, Bill, Billy,
- 30:45Speaker 1: Gary and Jerry, I don't know who's who anymore. Liz
- 30:49Speaker 1: and Gary slash Jerry and Andy is like, hello, have
- 30:54Speaker 1: you guys been together? And she says how long? She's
- 30:56Speaker 1: like with a couple, like, you know, I'm over here,
- 31:00Speaker 1: he's over there. We always come back to each other.
- 31:03Speaker 1: But you look at them and you're like, well, they're
- 31:05Speaker 1: really fucking right or die, Like they really love each
- 31:07Speaker 1: other right, And in the twenty plus years they've been together,
- 31:12Speaker 1: they've been here or there, but they always come back
- 31:16Speaker 1: to each other. Now could I do that? Probably not,
- 31:18Speaker 1: because I get really just into the person i'm building with.
- 31:22Speaker 1: As we know, three months, I'm fucking locked in. Baby,
- 31:25Speaker 1: let's fucking go.
- 31:27Speaker 2: You're like mas Madison Square Garden. Here I come.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Never Now. I was never that girl that thought about
- 31:35Speaker 1: what her wedding was going to be.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Like, yeah, I'm not a wedding person. I like I said,
- 31:40Speaker 2: I the ex and I we eloped. He always wanted
- 31:45Speaker 2: the dream wedding, the dream Hollywood wedding. I did not.
- 31:49Speaker 1: It was only for purposes of show.
- 31:52Speaker 3: Yeah's true.
- 31:52Speaker 1: You know, like when I met with a wedding planner,
- 31:57Speaker 1: she was like, what do you want? And I was
- 31:59Speaker 1: like I don't know, and she was like, well, what
- 32:01Speaker 1: have you always like dreamed of? I was like, I
- 32:04Speaker 1: can tell you what car I wanted to drive, what
- 32:06Speaker 1: kind of house I wanted to live in? Same but
- 32:09Speaker 1: a wedding. She was like, what is your dress gonna
- 32:13Speaker 1: look like? I'm like, I have to figure that out.
- 32:17Speaker 2: You're like, can I just go barefoot?
- 32:19Speaker 1: Could put me in something like? I don't give a shit.
- 32:22Speaker 1: It was the most I did not enjoy it. In fact,
- 32:26Speaker 1: I went to Palm Springs to the Surf Club and
- 32:28Speaker 1: they said that they are now hosting weddings. I'm like,
- 32:31Speaker 1: how legit get married in a swimsuit, have some fulled
- 32:34Speaker 1: out chairs, leave towels, and then we get married in
- 32:37Speaker 1: five minutes and then just send them off to do
- 32:39Speaker 1: water slides and fucking surf.
- 32:40Speaker 2: That sounds awesome, So it's also too I think what's
- 32:44Speaker 2: happening is that getting married is so expensive and people
- 32:50Speaker 2: are going like, I've been to a couple of Indian weddings.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Have you ever attended an Indian?
- 32:54Speaker 1: No?
- 32:54Speaker 2: But those are like it's insane. It's like a million dollars,
- 32:57Speaker 2: millions of dollars, but it is so expensive between food,
- 33:04Speaker 2: the venue, like and everything in between. I don't know
- 33:07Speaker 2: how people can afford to have a wedding, like, I
- 33:10Speaker 2: just don't. I don't understand. Like it's if someone said, Okay, Amber,
- 33:15Speaker 2: you get to have the most beautiful, spectacular wedding tomorrow,
- 33:20Speaker 2: or you get a down payment for a house. I'd
- 33:23Speaker 2: be like, down payment, absolutely.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Right, yes, because a wedding is just a party. Yeah.
- 33:31Speaker 2: And by the way, not only does it cost a
- 33:34Speaker 2: ton of money, it takes months and months and months
- 33:37Speaker 2: to put together. It lasts it lasts like five hours.
- 33:42Speaker 3: That's it.
- 33:43Speaker 1: The funnest wedding I ever went to. Well, actually I
- 33:46Speaker 1: went to a pretty fabulous wedding that was really fun,
- 33:49Speaker 1: but alcohol was heavily involved, so it could have been
- 33:52Speaker 1: a shitty wedding, but I wouldn't have known because I
- 33:54Speaker 1: was wasted. Where was it in Park City?
- 33:57Speaker 2: But it was fabulous.
- 33:58Speaker 1: It was like this family that was worth hundreds upon
- 34:01Speaker 1: hundreds of millions of dollars. Anyway, it was fabulous. And
- 34:05Speaker 1: I went with a really sexy man, so that part
- 34:07Speaker 1: was fun too, And like all the groomsmen were super
- 34:10Speaker 1: hot too, and like these like utah Ute football players,
- 34:14Speaker 1: it was just like hot. But my best friend Candice
- 34:18Speaker 1: so I've spoken about on the podcast, the one who
- 34:21Speaker 1: is pregnant now after eight years. She gives birth in
- 34:23Speaker 1: like a month, which is crazy. But she and her
- 34:27Speaker 1: husband got married in her mom's backyard and it was
- 34:32Speaker 1: just so cute and sweet and everyone had the time
- 34:37Speaker 1: of their lives. There was no pressure. You were sitting
- 34:40Speaker 1: there being like, we're witnessing two people who like really
- 34:43Speaker 1: fucking love each other and just want to be together.
- 34:48Speaker 2: Do you think we're a little uh, what's the word? Like?
- 34:52Speaker 2: I see people I got Okay, I'll go to a
- 34:55Speaker 2: wedding and I'll see two people starting their lives out
- 34:59Speaker 2: so fresh, and I'm like, while they have no this
- 35:01Speaker 2: is like, this is it. They're starting their lives, But
- 35:04Speaker 2: there's something where I feel like they have no idea
- 35:08Speaker 2: how fucking hard life's about to get, and then they're
- 35:10Speaker 2: gonna throw kids in the mix. Do you think that's
- 35:12Speaker 2: wrong with me?
- 35:13Speaker 1: No? I think we've switched places though, because that's how
- 35:15Speaker 1: I like when I used to see couples. I'd be like, oh,
- 35:20Speaker 1: so cute now, but you're gonna get divorced one day
- 35:23Speaker 1: and you're gonna have to go through a custody situation
- 35:25Speaker 1: and you're one day gonna hate each other, so like
- 35:26Speaker 1: enjoy it. Well, Lass, I don't know why you'd ever
- 35:29Speaker 1: do this? Right now? I see people like I went
- 35:34Speaker 1: to Newport Beach with the Russins, Candice and everybody, and
- 35:38Speaker 1: everyone had their partner, and I was just looking out
- 35:42Speaker 1: at the ocean and I was like, am I ever
- 35:44Speaker 1: gonna have that? You know, Like there's a part of
- 35:48Speaker 1: me that like, now, really I don't ever want to
- 35:50Speaker 1: get married married because again we've had experiences, but like
- 35:57Speaker 1: to really fucking lock your person down and be like
- 36:00Speaker 1: we don't need the paperwork, Like I want us to
- 36:02Speaker 1: like commit to each other on a way deeper level
- 36:05Speaker 1: than like here sign this. Yeah.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a commitment ceremony that sounds so lovely.
- 36:10Speaker 1: I know, just like in Montana.
- 36:12Speaker 2: In nature, I already know like I'm gonna get married
- 36:15Speaker 2: someday in nature like under a tree. Everyone's gonna be
- 36:20Speaker 2: sitting in hippie clothes and I'm kidding. Yeah no, that's
- 36:23Speaker 2: so cute, like super chill.
- 36:26Speaker 3: Yes, like a little.
- 36:28Speaker 1: White slip dress.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe a little lace, little cleavage, a little cleave.
- 36:35Speaker 1: I love it. See, that's what I want oh on
- 36:39Speaker 1: that note. I hope that was a manifestation.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it was. It felt like that for
- 36:42Speaker 2: a moment.
- 36:43Speaker 1: I did get a DM that was like, are you
- 36:44Speaker 1: sure the two of you aren't into girls? Because you'd
- 36:46Speaker 1: make a great couple.
- 36:47Speaker 2: I know we would, but unfortunately we're not.
- 36:49Speaker 1: So I really like.
- 36:54Speaker 2: Yes, a big hard yes, yeah. Yeah.
- 36:57Speaker 1: I can't get my mind off of it. I'm like, someone,
- 36:58Speaker 1: get me back to I.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Gotta get you back to LA before you start humping
- 37:01Speaker 2: the pillow in the middle of the night. If you
- 37:04Speaker 2: need a few minutes to yourself, I'd be happy.
- 37:06Speaker 3: To leave the room.
- 37:07Speaker 1: No, I'm too exhausted by the end of the day.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Like and then I look at my bulges and I'm like,
- 37:11Speaker 1: oh god, I need to get back to LA to
- 37:13Speaker 1: see a lot of different men but also a lot
- 37:14Speaker 1: of different men in white coats called doctors. See what
- 37:18Speaker 1: the fuck is going on with my body? I love you.
