Nate's NFL Week 6 Football Wager and Cousin Vinny's Lock of the Week 1013 · Nate's Daily Wager

• 0:06
Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:20
Sunday, October 13th and I guess you can't have much of A
• 0:24
shootout when only one team shows up with a gun.
• 0:28
And last night or yesterday afternoon Oklahoma showed up
• 0:32
with the like a pocket knife. So that didn't really turn into
• 0:36
a shootout and my hope for an over disappeared.
• 0:40
So again, taking the L, that seems to be the trend.
• 0:44
As I was saying yesterday, not even sucking yet.
• 0:47
Hopefully I can get back to sucking.
• 0:48
So today we got some football and the good thing is Cousin
• 0:52
Vinny's been killing it. He'll have his week six pick for
• 0:55
you a little later. Gaffer's been doing well as
• 0:58
  well. He's coming up later.
• 1:00
But right now we're talking about me and I'm getting back to
• 1:03
the shootout. I think we're going to have a
• 1:04
shootout today. I'm looking at this Cowboys,
• 1:07
Lions that we have going on and to me just screams shootout,
• 1:13
  right? Like real shootout.
• 1:14
You actually have two teams that can score points, two teams that
• 1:17
aren't really good at keeping other teams from scoring points
• 1:21
at least as well as they should. So looking at the total, it's
• 1:25
currently sitting at 52 1/2 and I see this getting to 60.
• 1:30
So we're taking the over. So we're going over 52 1/2 total
• 1:34
points between the Cowboys and Lions in today's NFL football
• 1:39
action. Is anything better than that?
• 1:40
Found it. That's my pick and I'm sticking
• 1:42
to it. And Gaffer, give him another
• 1:44
winner. And same to you, Cousin Vinny.
• 1:48
Give him winners. You, Cousin Vinny.
• 1:51
Week. 6 coming at you coming in hot four in one picking winners
• 1:58
about to be 5 in one so stick with me here and keep rolling in
• 2:02
the Dell. So this week, you know, arguably
• 2:05
the game of the week was supposed to be the Dallas
• 2:08
Cowboys, Detroit Lions game. But actually, actually, if I had
• 2:13
to pick one game to watch, it probably would be this
• 2:16
Washington Commanders, Baltimore Ravens game, the Battle of
• 2:20
Maryland. Last time these two teams
• 2:22
played, it was 1997. Benny Testaverde was under
• 2:26
Center for the Ravens, and Ray Lewis had gigantic shoulder
• 2:31
pads. Got to pick the seal of victory.
• 2:35
We're the Ravens, right? Fast forward a long time,
• 2:38
Shoulder pads are a lot smaller. Ray Ray hasn't played in a long
• 2:41
time. And these two match up, and
• 2:43
these two match up with a very hot, upstart Washington team
• 2:48
that has new life. New life after an old owner left
• 2:52
and a new quarterback showed up. He's his kid for real.
• 2:56
Probably, but I don't know. They're a pretty frisky team,
• 3:00
putting up 30 burgers, one of the best offenses in the in the
• 3:04
league. But this will be the first true
• 3:06
test line opened up as the Commanders being an 8 1/2 point
• 3:11
dog. Since then it's moved down to 6
• 3:14
1/2 points. What's this tell Cousin Vinny?
• 3:17
This tells Cousin Vinny that the public loves the upstart, the
• 3:22
frisky Commanders. But what does Cousin Vinny
• 3:26
always say? Why zig when you can zag?
• 3:30
Sure, everyone might be zigging, but zagging is where you find
• 3:35
all the winners. So that being said, we're going
• 3:41
to grab this line and 6 1/2 that's been beat down and we're
• 3:45
going to believe in the Baltimore Ravens.
• 3:49
They're they're rushing attacks. Lamar Jackson and MVPA veteran
• 3:54
coach, they kind of, you know, bring the Commanders back down
• 3:58
to earth. At some point, Jaden Daniels is
• 4:01
going to look like a Rick, a rookie.
• 4:03
And I suspect, suspect it happens this week against
• 4:07
Harbaugh. So take the Ravens minus 6 1/2.
• 4:13
We love that half point. Keep it under 7.
• 4:15
Ravens win by a touchdown and you win the bag, baby.
• 4:19
So take it to the bank and lock it up, closing Vinnie with your
• 4:24
lock of the week. Don't forget to rate, review,
