- 0:03access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing genuine
- 0:07issues. Brought to you by the
- 0:10hypnotherapist, demanded by celebrities, CEOs and even
- 0:14royalty. Adam Cox.
- 0:16These recordings took place live from Adam's clinic in London's
- 0:19world famous Harley Street. This podcast features powerful
- 0:23hypnosis, so do not listen while driving or operating machinery.
- 0:27This recording is not suitable for those with epilepsy or
- 0:30severe mental health issues, so get yourself comfortable and
- 0:34enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:40Hi, it's Adam here. And in today's episode of The
- 0:43Hypnotist, you can be listening to a hypnosis session created
- 0:47for a client that was struggling to meet new people socially,
- 0:53particularly in the dating world.
- 0:55And what became evident is that they were trying an approach
- 1:01that was carrying some risk and probably a lower probability and
- 1:10their. Approach was to.
- 1:12Cold introduce themselves to women they liked and then hoped
- 1:18there was some kind of instant connection that would.
- 1:20Then lead. To a date.
- 1:23And I would say that, look, that's possible, but more often
- 1:27than not, there's an element of risk, you know, if you imagine a
- 1:32stranger walks up to you with the intention to ask you out.
- 1:37That there's. A lots of very superficial
- 1:39evaluations that take place very, very quick.
- 1:42Plus, you might not be single, you might be in a relationship,
- 1:45you might not like that person or their approach.
- 1:49So it just reduces the risk. What was evident for this client
- 1:52is that they weren't doing many things that were social where
- 1:56they could just meet new people anyway.
- 1:58So this hypnosis session starts with a metaphor, and it's a
- 2:02metaphor of a, of a fisherman. And you know, a lot of people
- 2:05will use this unconscious metaphor anyway in the dating
- 2:09world. And if something doesn't work
- 2:12out with someone, they'll literally use the phrase, oh,
- 2:14there's plenty more fish in the sea.
- 2:16So this is an unconscious metaphor for dating and
- 2:20relationships anyway. But it uses this idea of a
- 2:24fisherman using one approach, let's say a fishing rod in the
- 2:29same pond. We're using the same bait again
- 2:32and again and not getting much luck.
- 2:34And then you see the fisherman go through some kind of a
- 2:38transformation where they start fishing in different places, so
- 2:42in rivers and streams, in the sea and lakes and ponds and
- 2:47having more success, increasing the frequency, trying different
- 2:50approaches, not just a fishing rod, but maybe a net or hiring a
- 2:54boat and fishing that way and. Of course the.
- 2:58Fisherman that tries more things, you know, is a bit more
- 3:01creative, a bit more tenacious, a bit more motivated, is going
- 3:04to get way more fish than the kind of person that does one
- 3:08thing in a particular way and doesn't really change anything.
- 3:12And of course, phishing is just a metaphor.
- 3:15For. Let's say socially interacting
- 3:20and from that perspective it sows a seed that this client has
- 3:25got many more options than approaching women cold.
- 3:29And that could be being on all the dating sites, having
- 3:31different profiles, joining dance classes and clubs and
- 3:36exercise. Classes in the.
- 3:37Gym and all those kind of things, we just going to meet
- 3:40lots of people anyway, and not with the goal of dating, but
- 3:43just getting to know people. And that increases the
- 3:47likelihood of what is called a chance encounter.
- 3:50And that's how a lot of people describe meeting someone is that
- 3:55they weren't looking for a relationship, they weren't
- 3:57trying to pick someone up, they just were in the right place at
- 3:59the right time. And then something happened and
- 4:02it came from there. So it's designed to create this
- 4:05idea of abundance that if you do the right things, you'll get the
- 4:08right results. Now, I appreciate there will be
- 4:11a lot of people here that are already in relationships or not
- 4:14necessarily dating or wanting to date.
- 4:18But you can look at the phishing metaphor and even the dating
- 4:21metaphor that follows as a, as a broader metaphor for let's say
- 4:29something that you're doing the same thing and it's not getting
- 4:32the results that you want. That might be in your work life,
- 4:36that might be regarding friendships.
- 4:39It might be with creativity and ideas.
- 4:42It's this idea of trying new things, trying a different
- 4:45approach and then seeing what happens.
- 4:48And, and an obvious thing there is client acquisition.
- 4:50If you run your own business, maybe you're attracting the
- 4:53clients in the same way all the time and maybe, you know,
- 4:57getting in as many clients as you want.
- 5:00That would be like the fisherman only fishing in one way.
- 5:03And therefore this session can mean it.
- 5:05Whatever you want it to mean, that's most important for you.
- 5:09So think about that before the session starts and if you do
- 5:12like the idea. Of a bespoke.
- 5:13Session calibrated and customized to you and your
- 5:16individual needs and goals. Check out the show notes.
- 5:20There should be something near this where you can click more or
- 5:24you can see more information. It's normally around the
- 5:27recording and then you'll see a link where you can book a free
- 5:29consultation call and we can have a chat just to see if I'm
- 5:32the right. Hypnotherapist to be.
- 5:33Working with you in the meantime, find a quiet,
- 5:36comfortable place where you won't be disturbed.
- 5:38Relax and enjoy the session. Take a deep breath in, and as
- 6:33you breathe in, breathe in that slow, long, relaxing breath.
- 6:40And as you exhale, just allow any feelings of tension, stress,
- 6:47or worries to feel like it's leaving your body in your
- 6:53outward breath. Breathing in and breathing out.
- 7:03I want you to get a sense of gradually drifting into a place
- 7:10of pure relaxation. Not because relaxation is
- 7:17necessary for hypnosis, just because it feels good to release
- 7:26that tension, to let go of any feelings of stress and worry,
- 7:33and allow your mind to awaken the infinite potential within.
- 7:48Breathe in and breathe out, releasing that tension in your
- 7:53outward breath and allow your mind to awaken.
- 8:02As your body relaxes, your imagination awakens, enabling
- 8:07you to explore new ideas and new possibilities.
- 8:19I want you to get a sense that sometimes we become a prisoner
- 8:28of our own fears, beliefs, and ideas, locked in patterns of how
- 8:38we think things should be. And I want you to get a sense
- 8:45that you are about to explore new ideas, new ways of
- 8:55exploring, new strategies, that you get to test out and try to
- 9:05see what works for you. I want you to allow your mind to
- 9:18drift. Drift to a place in your mind
- 9:24where you can see a small lake. And I want you to imagine seeing
- 9:33a man there about your age, with a fishing rod.
- 9:45And I want you to see that man with a fishing rod cast the lion
- 9:53into the small lake, spending lots of time but not really
- 10:02getting much back. A small fish every now and then.
- 10:14But as you observe this frustrated fisherman, I want you
- 10:21to zoom out and see that there are many other ponds and lakes
- 10:30that the fisherman hasn't even tried.
- 10:35They keep using the same fishing rod in the same lake with the
- 10:39same bait, feeling frustrated that they're not catching the
- 10:45fish they would want. But they're not trying the
- 10:51rivers, the streams, or even the ocean.
- 10:57Just the same lake again and again.
- 11:04And I want you to imagine what would have to happen for this
- 11:08same fisherman to be catching more fish than they could
- 11:13possibly either eat or sell or even release back into the
- 11:23water. And maybe they would test out
- 11:31different places to fish until they find the place that gives
- 11:37them more fish than any other place.
- 11:42Maybe that is the stream or the river instead of that same old
- 11:46lake. Maybe you see them trying a
- 11:50different approach instead of using the same fishing rod.
- 11:56Maybe they use a net. Maybe they hire a boat.
- 12:01I want you to see them using different approaches.
- 12:08I want you to get a sense then by trying different places and
- 12:14different approaches. Maybe they get lucky, or maybe
- 12:21they find the thing that works best with the resources they
- 12:25have. A wise man once said the
- 12:33definition of insanity is doing the same thing again and again
- 12:37and expecting a different result.
- 12:41Therefore, observe the fishermen trying different places,
- 12:47different approaches, but also increasing their frequency.
- 12:55If the fisherman was only fishing once a week, maybe you
- 13:01see them fishing two or three or even 4 times a week in different
- 13:06places with different approaches until they find what works best
- 13:14for them. See them with so many fish,
- 13:22large fish, small fish, they have too many fish, which
- 13:29enables them to be discerning. They keep the fish they want and
- 13:36allow any of the fishes that before they would have accepted.
- 13:42Now they don't meet the standard, so they return the
- 13:46fish that aren't of the standard back into the water.
- 13:59I want you to see that fishermen with a new sense of confidence,
- 14:04motivation and pride. I want you to get a sense that
- 14:11the only thing that stopped them before was the confines of their
- 14:17own thinking. But when they changed their
- 14:21thinking, they were able to change their approach.
- 14:26And when they changed their approach, they could go from
- 14:33scarcity to abundance rapidly. And as you observe this
- 14:40fisherman, I want you to start thinking of a future version of
- 14:46you. But no longer are we talking
- 14:52about fish. I want you to see a future
- 14:56version of you with a new found level of confidence, a new found
- 15:01level of motivation. I want you to see that version
- 15:07of you going to the kind of places where they could meet
- 15:13someone new, perhaps new friendships, new acquaintances,
- 15:21perhaps people that could turn into dates that may lead into a
- 15:27relationship. I want you to see that version
- 15:32of you doing things they wouldn't normally do.
- 15:38Maybe going to an exercise class, a dance class, social
- 15:47situations and places where meeting new people is just a by
- 15:53product of being in that place. But I want you to see that
- 16:00version of you with no scarcity, no desperation, with a level of
- 16:07confidence, a level of assurance, a level of
- 16:13resilience. I want you to get a sense that
- 16:19that version of you is increasing the probability of
- 16:25good fortune. A lot of.
- 16:30People describe meeting what becomes the love of their life
- 16:39as a chance encounter, serendipity, an unexpected
- 16:46meeting. So I wonder what places you can
- 16:53see that future version of you going to, doing and being in
- 16:59that dramatically increase the probability of a chance
- 17:05encounter. A spark of chemistry, a
- 17:10wonderful meeting of minds and moments.
- 17:16It might start off with just eye contact and a smile, an
- 17:23introduction, perhaps curious questions, and get a sense that
- 17:33these could have a chain reaction that leads to something
- 17:37meaningful, something wonderful, something magical.
- 17:45I want you to get a sense that this version of you sees dating
- 17:51as just a natural way to find the right relationship.
- 18:00I want you to get a sense that this version of you is
- 18:04comfortable going on different dates to find the kind of
- 18:12relationship that they would be willing to stop dating for.
- 18:18See that version of you with a deep conviction, a new level of
- 18:23belief that what you reap is a result of what you sow That when
- 18:34you do certain things, certain outcomes become inevitable.
- 18:42To see yourself being engaging, respectful, complimentary,
- 18:48interested, and see yourself in very different social
- 18:56situations. And then imagine seeing yourself
- 19:02going on different dates. See yourself with a different
- 19:06look. See yourself on different dating
- 19:10platforms. Get a sense that this version of
- 19:13you isn't relying on one strategy, one place, one time.
- 19:21This version of you is doing the kind of things that make it
- 19:27inevitable that good things calm your way as you return from this
- 19:35journey in your imagination, feel that there is a dial inside
- 19:41your mind that is increasing self-confidence, self belief,
- 19:47self worthiness, optimum levels and enthusiasm.
- 19:52Turn them all up to the highest levels and know that as you
- 19:59sleep, your mind is rewiring so that when you wake up in the
- 20:05morning. You awaken the most confident,
- 20:11enthusiastic version of you with the highest self esteem, with a
- 20:18deep sense of belief that the ideal relationship for you is
- 20:28now imminent in your future. It's time to return to the
- 20:32present, so take a deep breath in through your nose and out
- 20:37through your nose. Wiggle your fingers and wiggle.
- 20:41Your toes. Start to calibrate and connect
- 20:45with the here and the now as I now count from 1:00 to 10:00 to
- 20:50awaken you. Starting to count 123 waking up
- 20:56456 more alert 7-8. Open your eyes.
- 21:00Open your eyes 910 Wide awake, Wide awake.
- 21:06Wide awake. Thank you for listening to The
