- 0:00Speaker 1: I mean that does seem to be the theme of backstage.
- 0:03Speaker 1: Oh Richard, I tell you what's up? Everybody to stay
- 0:06Speaker 1: on my fridge. Brought to you by Copper John's because
- 0:10Speaker 1: that's what I'm my shirt right now. Make sure you
- 0:13Speaker 1: check them out. A couple joons dot com, use code beard love,
- 0:15Speaker 1: save yourself some money, fill those stockings full of stuff.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Speaking of filling stockings full of stuff, joining me as
- 0:22Speaker 1: always is you've been quacking off in Brandon Jay McDermott fellas.
- 0:27Speaker 1: We were excited backstage, probably had a lot of good
- 0:29Speaker 1: content back there, but we said, let's press it and
- 0:31Speaker 1: go what is up? Dudes?
- 0:33Speaker 2: What's good? Boys? I was, uh, I've said a good
- 0:36Speaker 2: week and I'm just glad to be with you.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Yeah, you seem really happy, Like this is the man
- 0:41Speaker 3: the most positive before his show ever, Like he's he's
- 0:44Speaker 3: giving us a PEPs like talk, like we can run
- 0:46Speaker 3: through a wall. He's the guys, we're gonna have a
- 0:48Speaker 3: great show, Like everything's gonna be great, Like let's do this.
- 0:50Speaker 2: I'm like, all right, let's go.
- 0:52Speaker 4: Like if there was ever like if I ever needed
- 0:56Speaker 4: the reminder in my life that alcohol is just not
- 0:59Speaker 4: for me, just not it's just not my bag. But
- 1:01Speaker 4: herbal refreshments are terrific. I went to bed last night
- 1:05Speaker 4: at really late, like two thirty in the morning, and
- 1:07Speaker 4: it is as a time of recording nine to fifteen
- 1:10Speaker 4: in my time, I believe it's an hour ahead for you.
- 1:13Speaker 4: One of my eyes is not open like the other one,
- 1:16Speaker 4: and I'm feeling a little off this morning. But before
- 1:20Speaker 4: I went to bed, I decided to take a couple
- 1:23Speaker 4: of these good, good, chewy things here that I have
- 1:26Speaker 4: and who they are. I've noticed a couple of things.
- 1:31Speaker 4: First of all, this morning, I feel no pain. But
- 1:33Speaker 4: one thing I noticed too is sometimes when I'll have
- 1:37Speaker 4: my dosage has always stayed the same, but sometimes when
- 1:39Speaker 4: I have some within an hour, I'll feel it like
- 1:42Speaker 4: all right, here comes and then two hours in you're
- 1:44Speaker 4: like all right. But then like sometimes it's like five
- 1:48Speaker 4: six hours in and I'm like, wow, okay, so I
- 1:54Speaker 4: thought what activated three hours ago? No, this is the one,
- 1:58Speaker 4: and this is six hours after. It's gonna be a
- 2:02Speaker 4: good show, boys and girls.
- 2:05Speaker 2: It is.
- 2:05Speaker 5: I live.
- 2:06Speaker 3: When that after shock happens, you know, you're like, okay,
- 2:09Speaker 3: this is what it's supposed to feel like. I'm having
- 2:11Speaker 3: a good time. Everything is wonderful, and there's just that
- 2:15Speaker 3: delayed reaction. If it's like a Mike Tyson punch. You're
- 2:17Speaker 3: just like, where is this from? I didn't eat another
- 2:20Speaker 3: one somewhere?
- 2:21Speaker 2: Did? I?
- 2:22Speaker 5: Like? What the hell is happening?
- 2:23Speaker 6: You?
- 2:24Speaker 1: You probably did.
- 2:26Speaker 5: That's That's where I'm.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Always, so I'll put it away. I'm like, hey, there's
- 2:29Speaker 3: six more in here. So that way, whenever I question it,
- 2:31Speaker 3: I go, there's six more in here. But then I
- 2:34Speaker 3: think to myself, I was like, but was that after
- 2:36Speaker 3: eating the additional one?
- 2:37Speaker 5: Or was that the first one? You know?
- 2:39Speaker 1: I'm like, do they make an app for that? So
- 2:42Speaker 1: you can track like your your dosage? Like, all right,
- 2:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna put this in here head one at this time.
- 2:47Speaker 1: That way you have for some little bit of accountabilities.
- 2:49Speaker 1: So next thing, you know, and you're all, you know,
- 2:52Speaker 1: barely moving, You're feeling like a turtle laying on the
- 2:54Speaker 1: ground and nothing's working, and you can grab your phone
- 2:56Speaker 1: and go, oh, that's why if there's not we write
- 3:00Speaker 1: that down. That's a good idea that did we just
- 3:03Speaker 1: become millionaires? I mean, let's be honest, there's a lot
- 3:08Speaker 1: of great ideas that we've had, whether we're making content,
- 3:11Speaker 1: whether we're coming up with great ideas that already exists
- 3:14Speaker 1: except for years ago. And we came up with the
- 3:16Speaker 1: idea about the poop map, and I still want to
- 3:18Speaker 1: rate my poop and everywhere you go. Thankfully, I'm on
- 3:21Speaker 1: the poop map now even though you've been still won't
- 3:25Speaker 1: be my friend on the app. But they're listening. They
- 3:28Speaker 1: really need to hit us up because we talk about
- 3:30Speaker 1: it a lot. There's something that I do want to
- 3:32Speaker 1: talk about that I don't know if you guys saw.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I think you guys probably did, and I feel like
- 3:37Speaker 1: this could be an interesting point of conversation. Did you
- 3:40Speaker 1: guys see the Paul biz Big Dizzy the NHL star
- 3:45Speaker 1: Paul biz Biz on B I S S O N
- 3:49Speaker 1: N E T T E. He's one of the dudes
- 3:52Speaker 1: on spitting chicklets from Barstool the spar He's retired at
- 3:55Speaker 1: NHL Player. Did you guys hear about the story? Huh oh, Brandon,
- 4:00Speaker 1: I think you've been did because I threw it in
- 4:01Speaker 1: the group chat.
- 4:02Speaker 6: Ah.
- 4:03Speaker 1: So this guy lives out in Arizona. He goes to
- 4:07Speaker 1: this place, Houston's, I believe is the name of the
- 4:10Speaker 1: place in Arizona. Why it's a little bit more confusing,
- 4:13Speaker 1: and was just out gets a salad there four to
- 4:16Speaker 1: five days a week. Looks over. Place is busy. It's
- 4:20Speaker 1: a pretty upscale place, and he noticed that this group
- 4:24Speaker 1: of guys are kind of, you know, getting a little
- 4:27Speaker 1: out of hand, look to be drunk. They're getting pissed
- 4:29Speaker 1: because you can't just get alcohol unless you have a seat,
- 4:32Speaker 1: can't just go in, grab some drinks, stand around. There's
- 4:34Speaker 1: no places for these guys to sit. And then they
- 4:37Speaker 1: start to get confrontational with the staff. And he's like,
- 4:40Speaker 1: these are my people, I know it. So he kind
- 4:41Speaker 1: of goes over there. Well, he does go over there,
- 4:44Speaker 1: and it's more or less like hey, like calm down,
- 4:48Speaker 1: let's everybody calm down. They kind of, he said, he
- 4:51Speaker 1: kind of looked at him and knew like he's ready
- 4:52Speaker 1: to fight, all right, and more or less you he says,
- 4:56Speaker 1: I forget the exact quote, but he said something like, well,
- 4:58Speaker 1: if you want to take this outside, let's go. The
- 5:00Speaker 1: guy did not wait for him to go outside, kind
- 5:03Speaker 1: of pushed him through him whatever. So he starts. They
- 5:07Speaker 1: get him outside, not one, two three, there's about nine
- 5:10Speaker 1: guys in this party and that are now chasing him,
- 5:13Speaker 1: and he knows that he can't take all nine of them,
- 5:16Speaker 1: so he's backpedaling, backpedal and backpedaling, and there's a couple
- 5:19Speaker 1: of fists this and that. All of a sudden, like
- 5:21Speaker 1: they get him to the ground. There's dudes that are
- 5:24Speaker 1: kicking him as hard as they can throw in punches.
- 5:27Speaker 1: He gets back up off the ground, backpedal some more,
- 5:30Speaker 1: gets to I think a CVS calls the cops, they
- 5:33Speaker 1: go away, and turns out an hour and a half
- 5:36Speaker 1: before this, these guys assaulted staff at another place, a
- 5:40Speaker 1: golf course, because they cut him off and they were
- 5:41Speaker 1: closing at six. I mean, there's and there's video footage
- 5:44Speaker 1: of all of it, and it is why I'm gonna
- 5:48Speaker 1: try to pull up some video footage, but it is,
- 5:50Speaker 1: I mean, it's an unbelievable story. But then because he
- 5:53Speaker 1: went on your favorite show, the Pat McAfee Show, and
- 5:56Speaker 1: was being interviewed and stuff about this, and it turns
- 5:58Speaker 1: out like there is he and there's probably more to
- 6:01Speaker 1: the story. They think they started uncover thing. These guys
- 6:04Speaker 1: go from town to town apparently or allegedly and scam
- 6:08Speaker 1: people and they use fake military IDs pretending that they're
- 6:13Speaker 1: you know, ex military to get discounts on stuff. And
- 6:17Speaker 1: I think there's like different chapters or whatever they are,
- 6:19Speaker 1: because I thought I heard something about the Texas chapter
- 6:21Speaker 1: was like super pissed. So I don't know if they
- 6:23Speaker 1: accidentally uncovered something wild or maybe it was a runoff thing,
- 6:26Speaker 1: but apparently, yeah, they they were terrorizing this town, other towns,
- 6:30Speaker 1: beating the crap out of people, and Paul more or
- 6:33Speaker 1: less said, hey, you know what I'll drop. I'll get
- 6:35Speaker 1: all the charges dropped on this one guy if he's
- 6:38Speaker 1: man enough to step in the ring with me. And
- 6:42Speaker 1: you can see like's they're like, oh, you got one shot.
- 6:45Speaker 1: He's like, oh yeah, pull up his mugshot. Pull up
- 6:46Speaker 1: his mugshot. Someone to try to find the mugshot, and
- 6:48Speaker 1: you could just see like he got a couple good ones.
- 6:52Speaker 2: It's wild.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Here's a video footage from Dario as on the youtubes. Here,
- 7:01Speaker 1: let me share this, just an unbelievable story.
- 7:07Speaker 6: Check this.
- 7:09Speaker 1: I don't really know that their sounds, so this probably
- 7:11Speaker 1: isn't gonna be the greatest thing. It's just just a
- 7:14Speaker 1: bar camera, you know, the standard one kind of like
- 7:16Speaker 1: the not even four K. But here he is right there.
- 7:19Speaker 1: He just comes over. This is him, like, hey, what's
- 7:20Speaker 1: going on? That's him right there in the gray. You
- 7:25Speaker 1: can see this kind of pushing all right where he's
- 7:28Speaker 1: on the defense, gets one or two. Then you don't
- 7:32Speaker 1: see they pushed him into a statue. I guess that's
- 7:35Speaker 1: over here. And this is weight staff. They just knocked
- 7:37Speaker 1: this person over. A woman, she's mad. Can't blame her.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I don't know if they have the footage on this
- 7:46Speaker 1: as well, but then yeah, here it is. Here's the
- 7:48Speaker 1: door cam. So as you come up here, this guy's
- 7:51Speaker 1: gonna hold the door for everybody coming out. You see
- 7:54Speaker 1: in this whole entire fight then comes rolling out at
- 7:57Speaker 1: some point. But what's crazy as too? Before this, look
- 8:00Speaker 1: at this guy with a baby zoom. Super dad got
- 8:05Speaker 1: his door. Guy though, it's like, come on, guys, get
- 8:08Speaker 1: the fight out of here. You can see him right
- 8:13Speaker 1: there that Those are the guys chasing the one, two, three, four, five,
- 8:17Speaker 1: six seven eight. Pat mcfieid that's probably the boss because
- 8:22Speaker 1: he's just slowly walking. So this is the parking lot.
- 8:25Speaker 1: You can I see him still backing up way up here.
- 8:26Speaker 1: See him just going back. They're still chasing him. Good
- 8:32Speaker 1: thing he stays in shape, still backing up, like come home.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I'm starting. He's starting to get away from the pack.
- 8:40Speaker 1: The old the old guys are This guy in the
- 8:41Speaker 1: green seems to be like the biggest kind of douchebag
- 8:44Speaker 1: of them all. He's the one that assaulted at the
- 8:46Speaker 1: other place. This guy's here is trying to sneak in
- 8:49Speaker 1: a little bit. It looks like.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Trying to stop it.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Of course, he's got no shirt on because they ripped it.
- 8:57Speaker 1: They threw him into a statue and it ripped his shirt.
- 8:59Speaker 4: Do you know what's great about this? This is just
- 9:00Speaker 4: a reminder to all of you that when you're in public,
- 9:03Speaker 4: you are on camera, because look at all always by
- 9:09Speaker 4: the way.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Yeah, look at the guy in the green. I mean
- 9:15Speaker 1: he's got him more or less one on one now,
- 9:17Speaker 1: you know, he wants to do something. And in the
- 9:18Speaker 1: interview he's like, you might want to stop. I'm telling
- 9:20Speaker 1: you you might want to stop. I think this is
- 9:24Speaker 1: when they get him on the ground. Maybe, but whatever
- 9:29Speaker 1: happened to at one point right before they get him
- 9:32Speaker 1: on the ground, I don't know if that footage was there,
- 9:33Speaker 1: because I think that's the CBS and they all start
- 9:35Speaker 1: backing up because he goes into the store and calls
- 9:37Speaker 1: the shops and stuff.
- 9:38Speaker 4: What's there? What's their their bag? What's their thing? He's
- 9:42Speaker 4: the trick, you know, the mark? What are they?
- 9:45Speaker 1: So he this Paul guy is the only reason they
- 9:48Speaker 1: they went after him is because he he confronted him.
- 9:51Speaker 1: All right here, look at see how they're all running
- 9:53Speaker 1: and they're coming at him. This is when they get
- 9:55Speaker 1: him to the ground. There was another guy that he
- 9:57Speaker 1: blasted and knocked down.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Camera guy loses. Okay, there we go.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Yeah, this is some surveillance still, so right there, they
- 10:03Speaker 1: got to watch this guy in the red boom boom
- 10:07Speaker 1: boom just kicking throwing kicks. I mean they got him down, thankfully.
- 10:12Speaker 1: He gets back up and they're like, he got me
- 10:16Speaker 1: a couple of times, but apparently he had not speaking.
- 10:19Speaker 2: I beat the ship out of somebody.
- 10:22Speaker 5: That's that's crazy.
- 10:25Speaker 2: And that's so like my point is is like what's there?
- 10:29Speaker 2: What's their game? What are they?
- 10:30Speaker 4: What are they doing this for? Where like they're traveling
- 10:32Speaker 4: to rob people? Did they know they're doing it to
- 10:33Speaker 4: somebody famous? Like what's the stick?
- 10:36Speaker 1: That's a good question because like when I first heard it.
- 10:39Speaker 4: My thought was not to completely hijack the conversation, but
- 10:43Speaker 4: my thought was, see, if you're famous in public nowadays,
- 10:47Speaker 4: you better make sure you have good security. And so, uh,
- 10:51Speaker 4: you know you're gonna see because there was what was
- 10:53Speaker 4: the video I saw? There was a video I saw
- 10:56Speaker 4: last week or a couple of days ago of a rapper. No, no, no,
- 11:00Speaker 4: it wasn't rapper. It was fucking Floyd Mayweather.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Did you hear? Did you see that thing?
- 11:03Speaker 1: Look at this? These were the of the guys. That's
- 11:08Speaker 1: the one guy in the green. There's one guy that
- 11:10Speaker 1: he popped. Those guys, those dirt pigs. I did not
- 11:13Speaker 1: see the Floyd Mayweather.
- 11:15Speaker 2: So he was u.
- 11:18Speaker 4: There was an attack and an angry mob in London,
- 11:22Speaker 4: hm and attacked by visions mom eleven. Okay, so apparently
- 11:26Speaker 4: it doesn't matter what it was about. But apparently some
- 11:28Speaker 4: are saying it was about his support for Israel, and
- 11:31Speaker 4: of course big you know, big population over there in London,
- 11:34Speaker 4: especially that you know, art supporters of Palestine. Whatever that's good,
- 11:39Speaker 4: bad or otherwise. I don't have a dog in the
- 11:41Speaker 4: fight there. But it's just like when I see that,
- 11:44Speaker 4: I'm like, this is Floyd Mayweather, who probably should have
- 11:47Speaker 4: the best security in the world, and you shouldn't be
- 11:49Speaker 4: out in public late at night when you could be
- 11:51Speaker 4: surrounded by a mob and et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
- 11:55Speaker 4: But like you're gonna start seeing like I don't know,
- 11:58Speaker 4: I'm not trying to try to get with here's the headlines,
- 12:02Speaker 4: and it's an actual trend line.
- 12:04Speaker 2: It's going to show what's gonna happen.
- 12:05Speaker 4: Is it's an isolated incident or three isolated incidents, I
- 12:07Speaker 4: guess in this case. But potentially if I was rich,
- 12:11Speaker 4: I would be like, yeah, you know what, I'm not
- 12:13Speaker 4: gonna do much very much in the future, not being public.
- 12:16Speaker 4: I'm gonna go stay in my island and I'm gonna
- 12:18Speaker 4: have people go out and do the work for me.
- 12:19Speaker 4: I'm not gonna get out here with these peasants.
- 12:23Speaker 2: You know.
- 12:25Speaker 1: What's crazy is he said that almost every single night
- 12:28Speaker 1: when he goes, there's two or three of them, him
- 12:30Speaker 1: and two or three buddies, and he goes, that was
- 12:32Speaker 1: a case, this would never be a story. This would
- 12:33Speaker 1: have ended right there. We would beat the shot of
- 12:36Speaker 1: these guys, yea, And he goes it just happened to
- 12:37Speaker 1: be the one night I just tried doing the right thing,
- 12:40Speaker 1: and I mean they're lucky. I mean, those dudes got
- 12:42Speaker 1: some shots. And I mean this guy, thirty nine year
- 12:45Speaker 1: old x NHL guy, it picked a wrong place, wrong time.
- 12:49Speaker 1: But imagine if this was in Texas, down in Burleyville,
- 12:53Speaker 1: there's probably a lot of other things that are going
- 12:56Speaker 1: to happen because there's a lot of guns. I've heard
- 12:58Speaker 1: in Texas.
- 13:00Speaker 5: Oh they're off a few. I mean maybe a couple.
- 13:04Speaker 5: I don't know if you guys realize, but I says Pee.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Pointing to the sign behind him. I was like, what,
- 13:12Speaker 1: I wasn't looking right at the screen to see that,
- 13:15Speaker 1: and I was I still had Burly on my mind.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Remember when he would podcast when he was drinking, he
- 13:18Speaker 1: would always pee in a bottle. I just heard you
- 13:21Speaker 1: say look it, it says Pee, and I was expecting
- 13:23Speaker 1: to look over and see you have a pea bottle.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I was like, thinking that was a little weird.
- 13:27Speaker 5: So a little bit.
- 13:29Speaker 4: Texas has the most guns out of any state, estimated
- 13:31Speaker 4: one million, fifty or one million, five thousand guns. Wow,
- 13:37Speaker 4: in a state of twenty nine million people, which I
- 13:40Speaker 4: actually think it's a lot lower than I thought it
- 13:42Speaker 4: was going to be. I thought it was going to
- 13:43Speaker 4: be at least, you know, like one gun for every
- 13:45Speaker 4: two people. But Florida's in second place, five hundred thousand
- 13:50Speaker 4: guns Florida.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Interesting, bingo. Yeah, I was trying to I was trying
- 13:58Speaker 1: to find more about that, and I don't want to
- 14:00Speaker 1: just let the show dragon. Oh, maybe we'll come back
- 14:02Speaker 1: next week with an update on there. Like I said,
- 14:04Speaker 1: it was just something that the Pat McAfee show had.
- 14:08Speaker 1: They clipped it into just kind of one article, and
- 14:11Speaker 1: Paul just went nuts, called them out, called the lawyers out.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Apparently the lawyer's son is sending a whole bunch of
- 14:17Speaker 1: dms to people, telling them to eat a bag of dicks,
- 14:20Speaker 1: and just and like I said, apparently, like I said,
- 14:24Speaker 1: what they said was more or less that they were
- 14:26Speaker 1: going town to town and scamming people, whether they were
- 14:28Speaker 1: going to door on some kind of scam. Like I said,
- 14:32Speaker 1: I quick google search didn't bring a lot of that
- 14:35Speaker 1: to light, so I'm not sure if that's all public
- 14:37Speaker 1: information or whatever, But either way, it's a wild story.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I couldn't imagine being such a ther bag and doing that.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Holy cow, But the footage. If you guys, ever, if
- 14:49Speaker 1: you ever get boreder, anybody listening wants to go check
- 14:51Speaker 1: out the footage. The one at the golf course or
- 14:53Speaker 1: the country club before that was wild too. I mean
- 14:55Speaker 1: that dude in the green was throwing haymakers at staff
- 14:58Speaker 1: at one point even like hit one of the staffs
- 15:00Speaker 1: and like ended up clipping a female. I mean, there
- 15:03Speaker 1: has to be some I'm sure this person's one of
- 15:06Speaker 1: the police charges. I think said there was at least
- 15:08Speaker 1: a six degree felony and some other stuff from the incident.
- 15:11Speaker 4: So people don't realize, like when you're in public, I
- 15:14Speaker 4: may most people do realize, I guess, But when you're
- 15:17Speaker 4: in public and you intentionally hit somebody, that's clearly you
- 15:21Speaker 4: know that you're gonna get in trouble. But if you're
- 15:24Speaker 4: in public and you intentionally try to hit somebody and
- 15:27Speaker 4: miss and hit somebody else, at the very least, you're negligent,
- 15:30Speaker 4: and you still have to pay for that, for lack
- 15:33Speaker 4: of a better term, pay for your negligence. You know,
- 15:36Speaker 4: so stupid.
- 15:37Speaker 2: It's be careful, don't do dumb stuff that was bad.
- 15:45Speaker 1: That's what we try to teach the kids, right, just
- 15:47Speaker 1: be good. Don't do dumb things. Don't want to see
- 15:50Speaker 1: you in the news, don't want to hear you in
- 15:51Speaker 1: the news, don't want to pick you up on the bill.
- 15:52Speaker 1: At least that's when my parents told me, like, we
- 15:55Speaker 1: don't have a lot of bail money, so don't do
- 15:57Speaker 1: stupid shit.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Shure you do something real quick. Here.
- 16:02Speaker 4: So this is a list of gun ownership by state.
- 16:05Speaker 4: Let's see if I can zoom in here so you
- 16:06Speaker 4: can see the states a little better. So you know
- 16:10Speaker 4: you have all the small ones, North Dakota, Nebraska, New
- 16:13Speaker 4: York's in here. You know you got Missouri, you got
- 16:15Speaker 4: all the other states. And as we scroll up the list, Texas, holy, oh,
- 16:21Speaker 4: so yeah, Texas has a lot of guns.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I'm surprised with the California one.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Me too.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Actually, what's crazy about this though? This is the number
- 16:30Speaker 1: of registered gus. So if there's a million registered guns
- 16:34Speaker 1: in Texas, how many unregistered are there?
- 16:39Speaker 2: Right?
- 16:40Speaker 1: Interesting? What was the lowest one on that? Did you
- 16:42Speaker 1: still have that open?
- 16:43Speaker 2: Yes? I do.
- 16:44Speaker 4: Lowest one on that was Rhode Island with less than
- 16:47Speaker 4: five thousand guns. The lowest five are Rhode Island, Delaware, Hawaii, Vermont, Maine, I.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Was just gonna say, it's probably a little harder to
- 16:55Speaker 1: get guns and stuff in Hawaii, right, unless they had
- 16:58Speaker 1: some kind of obviously ship them in or fly them
- 17:01Speaker 1: in or manufacturing. I can't imagine there's a lot of
- 17:03Speaker 1: gun manufacturers in Hawaii.
- 17:05Speaker 5: Three D printers. Mmm, I didn't say that.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Oh, I didn't hear anything that you're talking about. Yeah, man,
- 17:15Speaker 1: you guys, So you guys ready for the old Christmas.
- 17:18Speaker 1: I was getting around with the family that we were
- 17:20Speaker 1: going to ditch Christmas and jump on the Honakkah celebrations.
- 17:25Speaker 1: I didn't really looked into it before. I mean, the
- 17:27Speaker 1: biggest thing for me was Hankkah Adam Sandler. So I
- 17:30Speaker 1: was singing all the songs, the Adam Sandler song, trying
- 17:32Speaker 1: to pump them up. I even made a cake and said, hey,
- 17:34Speaker 1: here's last night cause cakes. You can buy a box
- 17:38Speaker 1: cake and frost and for like four dollars and let's
- 17:40Speaker 1: say four to twenty because it's funny number, right, and
- 17:43Speaker 1: I love it. You can't even buy a bag of oreos.
- 17:46Speaker 1: You can make a full cake for like four bucks.
- 17:48Speaker 1: And if you want to go buy like a bag
- 17:49Speaker 1: of cookies or something like that. It's five six bucks.
- 17:52Speaker 1: I'm like, better buy a cake. We're gonna we're gonna
- 17:54Speaker 1: celebrate Hankkah this year. And they're like, well, I was like,
- 17:57Speaker 1: you get to party from sun up to so for
- 18:01Speaker 1: eight days and exchange presence for eight straight days. And
- 18:06Speaker 1: then it led into a conversation where like, yeah, but
- 18:08Speaker 1: we don't celebrate the religion. I go, we don't go
- 18:10Speaker 1: to church and celebrate Christmas. I go, every holiday is
- 18:13Speaker 1: religious or political? No, it's not. I go, really, name
- 18:18Speaker 1: me one. I go Easter. Nope, that one's pretty religious.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Really And maybe it's me being a bad parent not
- 18:27Speaker 1: educating the kids now, but I feel like that's why
- 18:30Speaker 1: they go to school, right. And then they're like President's
- 18:34Speaker 1: Day political? What it's the President's moving on and they
- 18:39Speaker 1: just named all the holidays and I'm like huh and
- 18:42Speaker 1: they're like, yeah, I guess it is. And I guess
- 18:43Speaker 1: I never thought about it. I was just being a
- 18:45Speaker 1: smart ass, and I'm like, it's all about religion and politics.
- 18:48Speaker 1: And then they just commercialize stuff, you.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Know, everything, everything's about making money. That's that's capitalism and
- 18:55Speaker 3: it's finess, baby, but yeah, no, that's uh my wife
- 19:00Speaker 3: has to do the Christmas party for uh. Like she's
- 19:05Speaker 3: like one of the classroom moms, so she has to
- 19:07Speaker 3: organize the craft event at the holiday party. And so
- 19:13Speaker 3: I told her. I was like, hey, what are you doing.
- 19:15Speaker 3: She's like, I don't know. And some of these moms
- 19:17Speaker 3: are like super religious, and I was like, just don't
- 19:19Speaker 3: make anything like a cross. I was like you don't,
- 19:22Speaker 3: just don't. And I was like, don't buy into it,
- 19:24Speaker 3: and she's like I don't know what to do. I
- 19:25Speaker 3: was like, it's not a Christmas party where I was like,
- 19:27Speaker 3: it's a holiday party and she's like, yeah, exactly what
- 19:30Speaker 3: it is. And I was like, play the draid old
- 19:32Speaker 3: game and see their fads explode.
- 19:34Speaker 5: I was like, just do it, just do it.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Do it.
- 19:36Speaker 5: She's like, well, that would actually be kind of fun.
- 19:38Speaker 3: I was like yeah, absolutely, and they're learning something new
- 19:41Speaker 3: and I was like, auta boom. And you also get
- 19:44Speaker 3: to annoy the extremely religious Christian neighbor that we have.
- 19:46Speaker 3: And I was like, I may even take a day
- 19:48Speaker 3: off of work. Let's that's not fun to go.
- 19:51Speaker 1: I'm signing up to be there for you.
- 19:54Speaker 5: I want you to have to do this alone.
- 19:58Speaker 2: I h We had a show.
- 20:03Speaker 4: Segment on the show about candy canes and the history
- 20:07Speaker 4: of candy canes and when they were created, and somebody
- 20:10Speaker 4: in my Facebook chat said.
- 20:11Speaker 6: You know the religious origins of the candy can don't you?
- 20:16Speaker 6: And I was like, I'm pretty sure you're so. I
- 20:19Speaker 6: looked it up, and listen, I'm a Christian. I don't
- 20:21Speaker 6: care if you are or whatever at them.
- 20:23Speaker 4: I lived my life by by actions and not by words.
- 20:26Speaker 4: But they looked it up and they're like, you know,
- 20:31Speaker 4: the white represents purity and the red represents the blood
- 20:34Speaker 4: of Jesus. And you certainly may have like taken that
- 20:40Speaker 4: on after the fact, but it was never originated like that.
- 20:43Speaker 4: And and I'm not one to dispute it because I
- 20:46Speaker 4: think it it's not a good message or whatever, but
- 20:48Speaker 4: just the facts.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Are the facts, right, wasn't it on it? No, wasn't
- 20:53Speaker 1: it to keep kids quiet in church? And shit, it
- 20:56Speaker 1: was like legit sugar. Because the only reason I remember
- 20:59Speaker 1: I was doing beard history, where I was doing those
- 21:01Speaker 1: weird transitions through my beard and doing facts and stuff.
- 21:04Speaker 1: I think I remember doing one on a candy cane,
- 21:06Speaker 1: and I think the origin it was like sixteen hundreds
- 21:09Speaker 1: that they made these sugar sticks to hand out to
- 21:12Speaker 1: the kids to more or less get them to shut
- 21:14Speaker 1: up services.
- 21:16Speaker 4: I didn't see that, and it certainly could be the case,
- 21:18Speaker 4: but I don't know. But one thing that's funny about
- 21:21Speaker 4: you talked about religion and holidays. I just said holidays,
- 21:25Speaker 4: and I'm thinking about the eggs Benedict Colin days right now.
- 21:28Speaker 4: Jeezs oh that sounds so good, dude, Oh my god,
- 21:31Speaker 4: it sounds so good.
- 21:33Speaker 2: A little egg yolk and some vinegar.
- 21:35Speaker 1: The yolk is no joke.
- 21:36Speaker 5: Yeah, I know it, But go ahead, your memory is correct.
- 21:39Speaker 5: I asked, oh, google here, and it was to keep
- 21:42Speaker 5: kids quiet at shirts. That's why it was invented.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Okay.
- 21:46Speaker 4: So, but when it comes to religion, specifically Christianity and
- 21:51Speaker 4: Christmas or Easter, they stole those those holidays from the Pagans.
- 21:57Speaker 2: And I don't mean that stole in the like current.
- 22:01Speaker 6: Sense of like they stolen and they cheated.
- 22:04Speaker 4: No, they became the dominant religion, and they was like,
- 22:06Speaker 4: you know what, we don't want Pagans to be pagan anymore.
- 22:10Speaker 4: So we're gonna make the Pagans want to be us now,
- 22:12Speaker 4: and so we'll we'll try to do stuff that the Pagans.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Did and it worked.
- 22:15Speaker 4: Wonders, there ain't no more Pagans anymore, you know what
- 22:17Speaker 4: I'm saying, Like that religion is.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Gone, see you later.
- 22:22Speaker 2: But there's but no to your point, like there's.
- 22:24Speaker 4: There's so much not to make the show about religious, symbol, symbiology, symbology, symbolic, whatever,
- 22:33Speaker 4: whatever the word is. Like the Christmas tree, right, the
- 22:36Speaker 4: Christmas tree represents you know, this evergreen, hardy tree that
- 22:42Speaker 4: grows through all seasons that lead that represents life, and.
- 22:46Speaker 2: It leads to the heavens.
- 22:48Speaker 4: Right, and we decorated that wasn't always the case, right,
- 22:51Speaker 4: it was a pagan thing. Why why do we use
- 22:53Speaker 4: the Easter bunny? Why is there eggs for Well, there's
- 22:57Speaker 4: some religious beliefs in that too, specifically with not with purity,
- 23:01Speaker 4: but with Rabbits tend to a lot and have lots
- 23:06Speaker 4: of babies. Yeah, so that kind of like what's the
- 23:10Speaker 4: word I'm thinking of, fertility? That's the one. Lots of
- 23:15Speaker 4: different religions, lots of different holidays, and most of them
- 23:20Speaker 4: do have religious or political undertones.
- 23:21Speaker 1: As Matt said, So every Christmas, all I do is
- 23:24Speaker 1: I'm not a praying man, but I just pray that
- 23:26Speaker 1: I can pay off the bills before the interest rates
- 23:29Speaker 1: hit me on the credit card, because god damn. We
- 23:31Speaker 1: try not to go too crazy. I think I've said
- 23:33Speaker 1: it before in the shows, so I'm not going to
- 23:34Speaker 1: go there too hard. But we legit try to do
- 23:36Speaker 1: as much as we can locally, and we go thrift
- 23:38Speaker 1: shopping for Christmas presents for family and stuff like that,
- 23:41Speaker 1: and it's just not only is it fun and the
- 23:44Speaker 1: kids they enjoy the hell out of it. Do we
- 23:47Speaker 1: have to drive forty five minutes one way to find
- 23:48Speaker 1: a decent thrift store?
- 23:50Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 23:50Speaker 1: Is it a college town so it's mostly super old
- 23:53Speaker 1: people's stuff that pass on or college kids looking for
- 23:55Speaker 1: some money. Yeah. But the biggest thing to like the
- 23:59Speaker 1: other we found a board game that was an original
- 24:02Speaker 1: nineteen eighty six board game, all the pieces, everything, great condition,
- 24:07Speaker 1: And I'm like, we got a crazy board game collection.
- 24:11Speaker 3: But man, that's we have a lot of board games too,
- 24:14Speaker 3: and I'm a sucker for a good board game. And
- 24:17Speaker 3: during Max's or whatever his alias is, it will show
- 24:23Speaker 3: he that we were ranking a few board games and
- 24:25Speaker 3: I was surprised that some of the results of what
- 24:29Speaker 3: they were picking. We were only given five options, but
- 24:32Speaker 3: we had to rank those. And there's I found out
- 24:35Speaker 3: that people either love or hate Monopoly, like there is
- 24:40Speaker 3: no metal, it's an And I told them, I was like,
- 24:43Speaker 3: you either suck.
- 24:44Speaker 5: Or you're really good at it. And the determines who
- 24:46Speaker 5: likes it.
- 24:47Speaker 1: And I think it depends who you play verse you
- 24:50Speaker 1: know what I mean. If you if you're playing against
- 24:52Speaker 1: the kids and you just story, I'm like, it's one.
- 24:54Speaker 1: That's one game that i just refuse. But again, I'm
- 24:57Speaker 1: in a house. I'm the only one that likes it,
- 25:00Speaker 1: house full of haters of Monopoly. Like, imagine us the boys,
- 25:05Speaker 1: we should, we should, we couldn't do it. I was
- 25:08Speaker 1: gonna say, have you could do the virtual game? Imagine
- 25:10Speaker 1: us on the say body wrung or something, having a
- 25:12Speaker 1: Monopoly night. We sit down and play virtual Monopoly.
- 25:16Speaker 2: And that would be actually fund that would that's very fun.
- 25:20Speaker 5: I would totally beat down. Even there's there's Uno too,
- 25:26Speaker 5: and Uno is fruthless dude.
- 25:28Speaker 3: And I every time before, like I I will shuffle
- 25:32Speaker 3: the cards and I get ready to deal it out
- 25:34Speaker 3: to kids, friends, whoever, and I'm always looking, I'm like,
- 25:38Speaker 3: are we stacking? Because I'm like I'm like, hey, this
- 25:41Speaker 3: determines who I knew, like who you are as a person.
- 25:44Speaker 3: I'm like, are you if you allow it? You're my
- 25:46Speaker 3: type of people? Okay, I want to I want to
- 25:49Speaker 3: see kids cry. I want to see grown adults cry.
- 25:51Speaker 3: I want to see that draw to get hit on me.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Someone point laugh at me and go, ah, you gotta
- 25:55Speaker 3: draw too, And I'm like, do I Richard draw?
- 26:01Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 26:02Speaker 1: And what's funny is I'm glad that you do it
- 26:04Speaker 1: before or as you're dealing because UNO I saw it
- 26:08Speaker 1: on Twitter or x however you call it. I think
- 26:11Speaker 1: recently that they actually came in with a post and
- 26:13Speaker 1: said the official ruling is you cannot play A plus
- 26:17Speaker 1: two on a plus two. I'm like, I don't like that.
- 26:20Speaker 1: I know you might have might have lost a fan
- 26:23Speaker 1: in me.
- 26:23Speaker 4: That's a lot.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I'm still gonna play.
- 26:25Speaker 5: Yeah, you know what.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Honestly, whoever announced that was clearly on drugs and they
- 26:29Speaker 3: don't know what they're talking about because the.
- 26:31Speaker 5: Rule is you stack. Okay.
- 26:33Speaker 1: There are so many variants of UNO now, I mean,
- 26:37Speaker 1: I don't know if you have any of the newest one.
- 26:39Speaker 1: I didn't see it. I know my brother and sister
- 26:41Speaker 1: in law and all of them, because my daughter went
- 26:43Speaker 1: over there to play and they had like the newest
- 26:45Speaker 1: one and she was like it is on like it's wild, dad,
- 26:49Speaker 1: And I'm like, what do you mean? It was all
- 26:50Speaker 1: these different I mean, at one point, I think somebody
- 26:53Speaker 1: had to draw like twenty cards or something crazy like that,
- 26:56Speaker 1: and I guess I think it was the youngest kid
- 26:59Speaker 1: and got so pissed and quit, like rage quit. I'm like,
- 27:02Speaker 1: that's what I want to see. I want to see
- 27:04Speaker 1: our youth rage quitting, because how many times did you
- 27:07Speaker 1: see a good rage quit in our day, whether there
- 27:09Speaker 1: was a board game, of card game of video game.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Dude.
- 27:13Speaker 4: I remember playing WrestleMania with one of the first ones
- 27:17Speaker 4: on Sega dude, and I was beating my uncle in
- 27:20Speaker 4: the game for the first, six years old for the
- 27:22Speaker 4: first time. This runs over the console and hits reset
- 27:25Speaker 4: as soon as far as I was like you son
- 27:28Speaker 4: of a bitch, like and like somehow in my mind
- 27:32Speaker 4: like I didn't win because he hit reset before and
- 27:36Speaker 4: he was like yeah, man, like you literally just lost
- 27:40Speaker 4: and then acted like a little bitch.
- 27:41Speaker 2: And I'm six years old and you're like thirty five
- 27:43Speaker 2: few you know, like.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Now you as an almost thirty five year old, if
- 27:48Speaker 1: you are losing to a six year old, would you
- 27:50Speaker 1: potentially reset?
- 27:54Speaker 4: And also one other I remember is I was older.
- 27:57Speaker 4: I was about ten or now I was about twelve
- 27:58Speaker 4: or thirteen. No, no, I take a back by fourteen
- 28:00Speaker 4: years old, doesn't matter. But I was playing Ken Griffy
- 28:02Speaker 4: Junior Baseball on the Super Nintendo and this was like
- 28:06Speaker 4: two thousand, two thousand and one, so this is like
- 28:09Speaker 4: six eight years after after it was made still the
- 28:11Speaker 4: best baseball game of all time, by the way, and
- 28:15Speaker 4: was beating my step dad and like it was one
- 28:17Speaker 4: of those tight games back and forth and he throws
- 28:20Speaker 4: the controller down, the whole system comes rubble down, skips,
- 28:24Speaker 4: and like it's like messed up, like pixelated screen.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Who is your team?
- 28:30Speaker 2: The Braves?
- 28:32Speaker 3: I'm ninety nine percent sure I have that game still
- 28:35Speaker 3: in my collection over here. I was gonna go get it,
- 28:37Speaker 3: but I'm I'm like, I can see my Super Nintendo games,
- 28:39Speaker 3: I just can't see the titles on my My eyes
- 28:42Speaker 3: aren't as good as they used to be.
- 28:43Speaker 4: It was it was one where the second one was good,
- 28:45Speaker 4: but there wasn't as good as the first.
- 28:47Speaker 2: But that Ken Griffith Junior Baseball.
- 28:49Speaker 5: Was they had both.
- 28:51Speaker 3: It was one where he was swinging and I think
- 28:52Speaker 3: the ball was on fire if I'm not mistaken.
- 28:54Speaker 5: Like he was wearing the green efforts. Yeah, I think
- 29:00Speaker 5: one of them was. That was but one of them
- 29:01Speaker 5: was straight, I thought.
- 29:02Speaker 3: But he was wearing like it had like the the green,
- 29:05Speaker 3: but then the dark blue sleeves.
- 29:08Speaker 5: Maybe.
- 29:08Speaker 1: I mean, let me go, look, there's one where he's
- 29:10Speaker 1: like knee down. That's the Super Nintendo one. And then
- 29:14Speaker 1: there's one here. Let me I'll pull up the the
- 29:17Speaker 1: Google images Ken Grifford Junior Baseball. There's a couple of
- 29:22Speaker 1: different ones. You got this one here, the Collector Baseball
- 29:26Speaker 1: card free inside, and then you had this. I mean,
- 29:29Speaker 1: how could you not do the iconic swing on the cover.
- 29:33Speaker 1: I mean take a home run derby one. Maybe I
- 29:37Speaker 1: didn't realize it was on the game boy.
- 29:39Speaker 2: Dude, I've got an emulator. I can still play it. Like, no,
- 29:43Speaker 2: I don't. I take to have an emulator.
- 29:44Speaker 4: Remember those uh those like redos they did of the
- 29:47Speaker 4: little Super Nintendo's and all the other.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Ones that they redid.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Look at that, Oh, there we go.
- 29:51Speaker 2: It was the second one, wasn't it? Winning run. Yeah
- 29:53Speaker 2: that was the second one.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Dude, So I was dead on on how I remembered
- 29:56Speaker 3: it about with the fire and the ball. But yeah,
- 30:00Speaker 3: this is even the grocery store I used to go
- 30:02Speaker 3: to as a kid.
- 30:02Speaker 5: I mean, schmidched it and then eventually you bought it
- 30:07Speaker 5: or whatever.
- 30:07Speaker 1: But what's the warning on it?
- 30:11Speaker 5: It says warning do not leave in sun or dash
- 30:15Speaker 5: of car.
- 30:17Speaker 1: That's that's pretty wild that they had to put that
- 30:20Speaker 1: on there.
- 30:21Speaker 5: Yeah, that's that's wild.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Of all of the games that you probably could get
- 30:26Speaker 1: away with actually doing that, I feel like that's a
- 30:28Speaker 1: cartridge that could hold up in a car dash or
- 30:32Speaker 1: potential if anybody, No, nobody, I've seen our demographics, nobody
- 30:37Speaker 1: younger lives listening to this and being like, what is
- 30:39Speaker 1: this so bernet cartridge? You look like? Isn't it funny though?
- 30:41Speaker 1: What our brains remember? I mean, you remembered Ken Griffy
- 30:44Speaker 1: Junior's winning run cover of this, and I mean there's
- 30:48Speaker 1: probably some days you can't remember one of the kid's birthdays,
- 30:51Speaker 1: you know, allegedly exactly.
- 30:54Speaker 3: You know what I can't remember if I've taken my
- 30:57Speaker 3: I think I had to get one of those old
- 30:58Speaker 3: school I think this before, but the pill containers that
- 31:01Speaker 3: has like each day listed because I would like, I'm
- 31:05Speaker 3: really bad about it. I'll take my medicine in the
- 31:06Speaker 3: early in the morning, I'm like, yeah, I took it,
- 31:08Speaker 3: And then an hour and a half of like.
- 31:10Speaker 5: Did I take my medicine today?
- 31:11Speaker 3: And I'm like, oh, I see, well, I guess we're
- 31:15Speaker 3: just gonna be double good today.
- 31:17Speaker 5: Let's just go ahead and take him again, you know.
- 31:18Speaker 3: And the really bad thing is at lunch, I'm like,
- 31:20Speaker 3: I didn't take my medicine today. I don't think and
- 31:22Speaker 3: I'm like, god, damn.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Now it's too late in the day. That's that is
- 31:26Speaker 1: that the first sign that you're getting old, potentially is
- 31:30Speaker 1: when you get the pill counter. Is there another sign
- 31:33Speaker 1: where you're like, man, I'm a fish because I'm gonna
- 31:35Speaker 1: be forty this year and I've been thinking like, man,
- 31:38Speaker 1: it's kind of a weird thought, but it's like, you
- 31:40Speaker 1: know what, this could this could be the halfway point.
- 31:42Speaker 1: You know, maybe this is when I do the midlife crisis.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Like if I make eighty, that's pretty good.
- 31:49Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 31:49Speaker 4: Some days I'm like enough that I eat for breakfast
- 31:52Speaker 4: this morning? Did I eat breakfast? Like knowing, damn, well,
- 31:56Speaker 4: you know my fat ass ate breakfast. You know.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Is it? Is it something in your brain being like, man,
- 32:03Speaker 1: something sounds good. I'm gonna convince myself I didn't eat breakfast,
- 32:06Speaker 1: so I can have a little there's.
- 32:09Speaker 3: Yeah, because I mean I'm also guilty of I will
- 32:12Speaker 3: eat something then granted mine, I'll go smoke. And then
- 32:18Speaker 3: like two hours later and I'm like, I don't eat.
- 32:19Speaker 3: I'm like, I haven't even eaten anything.
- 32:21Speaker 5: All Hey, it's okay. I'm gonna go and treat myself
- 32:22Speaker 5: to something.
- 32:23Speaker 3: And as I'm eating something, I go, damn, I just
- 32:25Speaker 3: had that sandwich before.
- 32:27Speaker 5: It's like I did eat today. I was like, God,
- 32:29Speaker 5: it doesn't matter. I'm gonna continue to do it. Anyways.
- 32:32Speaker 1: I saw a meme style post on Instagram or x
- 32:36Speaker 1: or somewhere it doesn't really matter where it is. And
- 32:38Speaker 1: it was a handwritten sign that was inside a refrigerator
- 32:41Speaker 1: that said you're not hungry, You're just high. It was
- 32:46Speaker 1: so this and somebody put like, this is how I
- 32:48Speaker 1: have to remind myself to stop eating so late at night.
- 32:53Speaker 3: So I even got called out yesterday at the we
- 32:56Speaker 3: were decorating cookies for Santa and we were at the
- 32:59Speaker 3: brother in law house.
- 33:00Speaker 1: And you're on the nice list.
- 33:02Speaker 5: Anyway, I'm always on the nice list. They can't catch
- 33:05Speaker 5: slipping ever, you know. Uh, A'm a good enough bullshitter
- 33:09Speaker 5: to talk my way out of it.
- 33:10Speaker 3: But yeah, I walk into his shop and he asked
- 33:15Speaker 3: me immediately. He's like, hey man, there's a gummy in
- 33:17Speaker 3: there if you want one. I'm like, oh, I already
- 33:19Speaker 3: took some. I'm good, But I was like, I might
- 33:22Speaker 3: change my mind a little bit. Two minutes later, I'm
- 33:24Speaker 3: making fucking I'll take one.
- 33:25Speaker 5: Sure.
- 33:25Speaker 3: You know, I didn't realize they were They were twenty
- 33:28Speaker 3: fives and I'm already rolling deep and I'm like, damn,
- 33:30Speaker 3: I thought these were just gonna be cause he.
- 33:32Speaker 5: Usually doesn't go very hard something and these are like
- 33:34Speaker 5: five stands.
- 33:35Speaker 1: They'll be He's showing off for the Christmas season and
- 33:37Speaker 1: he's like, look at this flex. I'm a big boy now. Yeah.
- 33:40Speaker 5: I was like, oh, they're like sour mellow. They were
- 33:42Speaker 5: even good tasting.
- 33:43Speaker 3: I was like, oh, this is this is delicious. I
- 33:45Speaker 3: eat one, and uh two hours later I even told him.
- 33:48Speaker 3: I was like, hey, man, if I try to grab
- 33:49Speaker 3: another one of these, remind me, and he goes, okay.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Okay, just like just like when you're putting your hand
- 33:54Speaker 1: in the cookie jar and Grandma goes, no.
- 33:57Speaker 5: Yes, exactly, you're a spoiler, tight you. I don't give
- 34:02Speaker 5: a fu by that appetite. I can still eat dinner,
- 34:04Speaker 5: trust me.
- 34:05Speaker 3: But H like, I guess apparently it wasn't even forty
- 34:08Speaker 3: five minutes later.
- 34:09Speaker 5: I'm like look at him, like, hey, and that gunman
- 34:11Speaker 5: you told me I can get.
- 34:12Speaker 3: He goes yes, and I'm like, think I'm gonna take
- 34:16Speaker 3: a be on that, and he goes, you already did
- 34:19Speaker 3: you don't find No, I didn't like you're lying to me,
- 34:23Speaker 3: And I was like, you're lying to me. And then
- 34:25Speaker 3: of course, like there's other people there, and then they
- 34:27Speaker 3: also got to witness it from the beginning and they're like, no,
- 34:30Speaker 3: you're a fuck idiot.
- 34:31Speaker 5: I'm like, I'm smarter than all of you. You gots
- 34:34Speaker 5: are all wrong, And I'm.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Like, where's the video evidence I've seen twenty twenty that's what.
- 34:41Speaker 5: I told you. I was like, I was like, I
- 34:43Speaker 5: went to go take a piss outside.
- 34:45Speaker 3: You guys all came up with this story because you
- 34:47Speaker 3: think you're gonna catch me slipping and I was like,
- 34:48Speaker 3: First of all, I was like.
- 34:49Speaker 5: How much have I I mean, I've offered you my
- 34:51Speaker 5: stuff every time you've been over my house.
- 34:53Speaker 3: He goes, yeah, that's why I offered it too, sus
- 34:56Speaker 3: you walked up in and I'm like you did. I'm like, okay,
- 34:59Speaker 3: you did, But I was like, but I haven't had
- 35:01Speaker 3: one yet. And he goes, He's like, you literally turned
- 35:05Speaker 3: around and got it, and I'm like, no, I didn't.
- 35:07Speaker 3: I'm so not convinced. I think they got one of
- 35:09Speaker 3: those devices like the Men in Black, and they've somehow
- 35:12Speaker 3: convinced me you did.
- 35:14Speaker 2: It hit you at some point though, They're like, were
- 35:15Speaker 2: like all right, all right.
- 35:16Speaker 3: All right, yeah, yeah it was pretty Yet the car
- 35:20Speaker 3: ride home was honestly like that's I was a passenger princess,
- 35:24Speaker 3: which I rarely get to be. And I'm just sitting there.
- 35:26Speaker 3: I got got my little vents on, got my head
- 35:28Speaker 3: seats on.
- 35:29Speaker 5: I'm feeling, I'm feeling.
- 35:31Speaker 1: I'm told I got a lap full of Christmas cookies.
- 35:33Speaker 1: I'm trying not to eat because I've already had thirty of.
- 35:36Speaker 3: Them, so so I already I did have some Christmas cookies,
- 35:39Speaker 3: but this one it was we had some chili that was.
- 35:43Speaker 1: I don't wonder why you're on your third shit today?
- 35:46Speaker 5: Oh that's right, Damn I forgot. I did destroye.
- 35:49Speaker 3: So so there was Freedo scoops and free doo, the strips,
- 35:53Speaker 3: the regular FreeDOS, and I'm like.
- 35:55Speaker 5: Oh snap, I'm like mm hmmm. So I was toasty
- 35:59Speaker 5: mentally physically, and my belly was so fu fool I
- 36:02Speaker 5: went with scoops. I was sitting there, I like, the
- 36:05Speaker 5: only thing I didn't have. I was like, man, am
- 36:07Speaker 5: I a criminal? Am I going to go straight from
- 36:09Speaker 5: this crock pot?
- 36:10Speaker 3: Just just just going straight in?
- 36:12Speaker 5: Or is there a bowl? So I asked the kids,
- 36:14Speaker 5: I'm like.
- 36:14Speaker 3: Hey, thereto the paper bowls doing here? They look everywhere,
- 36:19Speaker 3: couldn't find one.
- 36:20Speaker 5: So crockpot it was.
- 36:23Speaker 1: I mean that's what scoops are made for, right, that's
- 36:25Speaker 1: that's It's not like you're double dipping scoops because I mean,
- 36:27Speaker 1: we're all men. We can take a scoop in one bite.
- 36:30Speaker 1: We're not. That's what they're made for.
- 36:34Speaker 5: And see some asshole left out the crockpot and didn't
- 36:36Speaker 5: put it away. Fuck terrible.
- 36:40Speaker 1: I didn't left it. There was just freedo crumbs and
- 36:45Speaker 1: chili everywhere around it. It was like somebody scooped it and
- 36:48Speaker 1: just couldn't missed it and just couldn't find the water.
- 36:51Speaker 1: You know what, if you can't find a bowl in
- 36:52Speaker 1: the house, what are the chances you're going to find
- 36:54Speaker 1: a paper toweler napkin or a washcloth or whatever they use.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Do the people have a dog?
- 37:01Speaker 5: They do? They do?
- 37:02Speaker 1: Yeah, so the dog made out all right.
- 37:05Speaker 3: See that's why I was like, dude, I say, though,
- 37:07Speaker 3: but I don't think I missed a lot, you know,
- 37:09Speaker 3: I was, But in the car, the one thing that
- 37:13Speaker 3: I did notice is this point that was a brown
- 37:16Speaker 3: spot on the seat belt, So I definitely I don't.
- 37:19Speaker 5: I didn't get any of my clothes, but the seat
- 37:21Speaker 5: belt was not safe.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Is that the hoodie you wore? Because it looks like
- 37:23Speaker 1: there's some right on your left shoulder.
- 37:25Speaker 5: You're not gonna catch me slipping?
- 37:26Speaker 1: Cause I was like, there's no way I'm not getting
- 37:29Speaker 1: them with this one.
- 37:30Speaker 5: No, Because at first I.
- 37:31Speaker 3: Was like, whenever I was telling the story about it,
- 37:34Speaker 3: I was like, wait a minute, this isn't and I
- 37:35Speaker 3: was like no.
- 37:36Speaker 5: So that's why I was already prepared. That's already prepared.
- 37:39Speaker 1: The son of a bitch. Did you look through their
- 37:41Speaker 1: fridge to see if they had any old stuff? Because
- 37:43Speaker 1: I'm noticing that when I go to other people's houses,
- 37:46Speaker 1: and now that's my move. I'm like, can I grab
- 37:48Speaker 1: something or I'm just going right to the fridge and
- 37:50Speaker 1: they're like, what are you doing. I was like, oh,
- 37:51Speaker 1: I'm just trying to see if you got your old
- 37:52Speaker 1: shit in your fridge for the show. And most of
- 37:54Speaker 1: people I go to, obviously it's either family or friends,
- 37:56Speaker 1: and they're like, well, like, this is some content I got.
- 37:59Speaker 1: I gotta find something money in there. And most of them, though,
- 38:02Speaker 1: it's most of the family and the friends that they have,
- 38:04Speaker 1: like they actually clean their houses really nicely. They must
- 38:07Speaker 1: clean out their fridges. I'm like, I wonder why people
- 38:10Speaker 1: don't come to my house. I don't give a shit
- 38:12Speaker 1: about all.
- 38:12Speaker 2: That, So go ahead to you.
- 38:17Speaker 3: This is the same people that didn't have gravy for
- 38:19Speaker 3: Thanksgiving that one, and they never have any like pop
- 38:24Speaker 3: besides root beer. And I'm not a root beer fan,
- 38:27Speaker 3: you know, except unless I'm having a float, you know.
- 38:31Speaker 5: So I had my own drinks. I had my own episode.
- 38:33Speaker 5: I had no need to get into the fridge, so
- 38:35Speaker 5: unfortunately I didn't have a chance to look but my
- 38:38Speaker 5: bat brain and go go ahead.
- 38:39Speaker 4: No, you're good. I don't know why this picked my
- 38:43Speaker 4: sing the synaps in my brain of remembering something like
- 38:47Speaker 4: as crazy as this, But I had a friend who
- 38:49Speaker 4: was a college buddy about eight years ago, and I
- 38:52Speaker 4: was a non traditional student, so I was older. I
- 38:54Speaker 4: was already thirty when these kids were like twenty to
- 39:00Speaker 4: and uh, but he was just he was an old soul,
- 39:03Speaker 4: good kid. We're not friends anymore, just distance, whatever it happens.
- 39:07Speaker 4: But I remember him sitting down at the bar with
- 39:09Speaker 4: me and saying, you know, anytime I go to somebody's house,
- 39:13Speaker 4: ip in there sink, and like he wasn't saying it,
- 39:17Speaker 4: like he was like whispering it to me, like he
- 39:19Speaker 4: didn't want anybody else to know. It was just a
- 39:22Speaker 4: nonchalant thing, like he felt like he was and and
- 39:24Speaker 4: and on one side, I was like, okay, cool. On
- 39:26Speaker 4: the other side, I'm like, how slobbish and slavenish do
- 39:29Speaker 4: I have to be for him to feel like he
- 39:31Speaker 4: can share this shit with me? Like, do I look
- 39:33Speaker 4: like somebody who piss is in sinks. And then I
- 39:37Speaker 4: thought to myself, like, yes, did he come to my house? One? No,
- 39:43Speaker 4: he didn't be What else are these weirdos doing in
- 39:46Speaker 4: my house? And and see, maybe maybe I should try that?
- 39:55Speaker 1: My god, if that's the move, like, is that the
- 39:58Speaker 1: ultimate marking your territor or something? It's like a dog
- 40:01Speaker 1: that has to pee higher than the other one and
- 40:03Speaker 1: lift the leg a little bit higher. Why would you
- 40:05Speaker 1: piss in the sink of splatter? Yeah, I mean, have
- 40:09Speaker 1: you ever pissed in the sink in your level? Yes,
- 40:12Speaker 1: let's let's start with that. No, h that's a yes.
- 40:17Speaker 1: I mean, I'm gonna be honest. One of my buddy's
- 40:20Speaker 1: favorite moves was when you're at a concert or a
- 40:22Speaker 1: busy show, and usually where the concerts we would, you know,
- 40:25Speaker 1: go to punk shows or something like that. They're not
- 40:27Speaker 1: nice places, and there'd always be a long line for
- 40:29Speaker 1: to piss. And it was always there might be a yeurnal,
- 40:32Speaker 1: there might be a stall, then there's a sink, and
- 40:35Speaker 1: I'll never forget one of the first time's pretty young.
- 40:37Speaker 1: My buddy walks over and walks right in front of line.
- 40:39Speaker 4: What are you doing?
- 40:40Speaker 1: You canick online? He's like, there's another toilet open, dude
- 40:44Speaker 1: sinks open, turns on the water and just starts pissing
- 40:47Speaker 1: in the sink. And now you have three lines that
- 40:49Speaker 1: have formed every other person. Because let's be honest, how
- 40:52Speaker 1: many dudes that are at this nasty bathroom are really
- 40:56Speaker 1: going there? Most of those guys that are taking a
- 40:58Speaker 1: piss are walking right out. They're not using the sink to.
- 41:01Speaker 5: Wash their hands.
- 41:02Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure there wasn't even a soap dispenser in
- 41:04Speaker 1: this bathroom. So hey, that line got through a little
- 41:07Speaker 1: bit quicker.
- 41:08Speaker 5: Criminal, that's criminal.
- 41:11Speaker 1: But really, I'm not gonna lie. I've never done it
- 41:12Speaker 1: at a person's house. I think that like if I
- 41:15Speaker 1: have to do it at a dungey, didn't you know
- 41:17Speaker 1: what I mean, like a concert venue or something.
- 41:20Speaker 4: Speaking of being at other people's houses, whenever I'm in
- 41:22Speaker 4: their bathroom, one thing I always do do is not
- 41:26Speaker 4: do do but uh I do check to see what
- 41:29Speaker 4: kind of soap they have because I have a friend
- 41:32Speaker 4: who here's my here's my thought process.
- 41:34Speaker 2: I've got a theory that there is.
- 41:36Speaker 4: A line of you're poor, and I mean, like within
- 41:41Speaker 4: you know what I'm saying, You're not you're not well
- 41:43Speaker 4: to do if you've got bar soap, or if you've
- 41:47Speaker 4: got like the really cheap dollar dollar soap, dollar store soap.
- 41:51Speaker 4: You know what I'm talking about that? Oh yeah, God
- 41:53Speaker 4: knows what flavor it is? Like flavor, I guess is
- 41:56Speaker 4: the wrong term. What sense this is?
- 41:59Speaker 2: Hey, don't.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Judgment judgment free? Since eighty three I went.
- 42:03Speaker 4: To I went to this this friend of mine's house,
- 42:06Speaker 4: and I'm like, you know what, they're on the they're
- 42:08Speaker 4: on the line of being upper middle class. Let's see
- 42:11Speaker 4: what kind of soap they have. They had watered down
- 42:14Speaker 4: their soap. And I felt like I went to a
- 42:17Speaker 4: restaurant and found out they had watered down their ranch.
- 42:19Speaker 4: I was just as mad. I was like, these poor people,
- 42:22Speaker 4: how dare you cut corners to your guests and your
- 42:24Speaker 4: guest bathroom like this?
- 42:25Speaker 1: You know, so so it's a strict guest bathroom.
- 42:30Speaker 4: Oh yes, yeah, so it's the it's the bathroom like
- 42:32Speaker 4: you come in the hallway, it's the first on the right.
- 42:35Speaker 4: You know, everybody uses that one. And and for the record,
- 42:38Speaker 4: bar bar soap here, that's what I got.
- 42:41Speaker 1: We do whatever we go to like a DG or
- 42:44Speaker 1: a place like that, and they got those dollar soaps,
- 42:46Speaker 1: those big I'm if we find one of those, you know,
- 42:49Speaker 1: ones that are clear and they sometimes have the fish
- 42:52Speaker 1: logo or whatever for a buck, then they're going to
- 42:54Speaker 1: reuse that and then we'll get the big jug to
- 42:56Speaker 1: refill the dollar soap. And I'm not gonna lie. We
- 43:01Speaker 1: put the water in it. We watered that ship down too,
- 43:05Speaker 1: But we don't have a street guest bathroom, so we're
- 43:08Speaker 1: using it. We got we got the one bathroom that
- 43:10Speaker 1: that is on the first level and that's where our
- 43:13Speaker 1: master bedroom is, and it's the washing room, the litter boxes,
- 43:17Speaker 1: you know, it's where we get ready as adults, and
- 43:19Speaker 1: you go upstairs and it's the big nice bathroom that
- 43:22Speaker 1: the three kids share and never clean and destroy. So
- 43:26Speaker 1: no suns of bitches because it was the master ish
- 43:29Speaker 1: bathroom until we moved our room down.
- 43:31Speaker 4: But so yeah, that I guess that that that that
- 43:35Speaker 4: begs the question, what do you notice in somebody? I mean,
- 43:38Speaker 4: like within reason, like they have a boat in their
- 43:40Speaker 4: garage obviously, but what is smart small thing are you
- 43:44Speaker 4: noticing in somebody's house that tells you that they feel
- 43:48Speaker 4: comfortable with their money? Like I said, like he's got
- 43:53Speaker 4: a four x four in his garage, you know that
- 43:55Speaker 4: he rides around his territory, you know, or his acreage,
- 43:57Speaker 4: like not that kind of shit.
- 43:59Speaker 1: The first thing that pops in my is what they
- 44:01Speaker 1: put out for a spread, because a lot of the
- 44:03Speaker 1: time we go over, you know what I mean, Like
- 44:05Speaker 1: everybody brings a little something, you know, and you can
- 44:07Speaker 1: always tell that some people they try a little bit harder,
- 44:10Speaker 1: you know, and then or like we sometimes they cut
- 44:13Speaker 1: a corner. Like if you go in like me, I'm
- 44:15Speaker 1: just gonna be like, oh shit, I gotta get up
- 44:16Speaker 1: some beer. Anyways, cool, I'm bringing a bag of chips.
- 44:18Speaker 1: They're probably like this, guys, this guy's I mean, podcasting
- 44:22Speaker 1: is clearly not the move in life. And you know,
- 44:24Speaker 1: some people they might bring, you know, somebody brings over,
- 44:26Speaker 1: say some brisket or something, you know, you know a
- 44:29Speaker 1: little bit like that. You're like, oh god, damn, good
- 44:31Speaker 1: for you. But typically just brick of cheese and some
- 44:34Speaker 1: cheap crackers. That's my move, and you know what, people
- 44:37Speaker 1: eat it. They love that shit. I love the creativity
- 44:40Speaker 1: though that this is I think the perfect blend of
- 44:43Speaker 1: maybe not having a ton of money, just kind of
- 44:45Speaker 1: being middle orld. But the creativity. Thanks to Pinterest, these
- 44:48Speaker 1: women get creative. One of the coolest thing was I
- 44:50Speaker 1: saw a buddy's wife started years ago bringing a more
- 44:54Speaker 1: or less like a tackle box type thing, like a
- 44:57Speaker 1: plastic organizer that would have like a killer spread from
- 45:00Speaker 1: chips to pickles to like all sorts of stuff in this.
- 45:03Speaker 1: I'm like, that's the coolest thing. Like you just bring it,
- 45:06Speaker 1: you organize it, poop, and then you just pack it up.
- 45:09Speaker 5: Gone.
- 45:09Speaker 1: I like that.
- 45:12Speaker 3: The food spread is that that's a good that's a
- 45:14Speaker 3: good one, because that's that's husuly. What I judge whenever
- 45:17Speaker 3: I go over there, too, is creating. I'm a picky eater,
- 45:19Speaker 3: but I'm also like, what are you weird eating? Like
- 45:23Speaker 3: what is that? But I don't know, I can't think
- 45:27Speaker 3: of anything. What about you, Brandon? I guess I can't
- 45:29Speaker 3: really think of anything else.
- 45:30Speaker 4: So I want to I want to add, I want
- 45:32Speaker 4: to add this and and say say something here. In
- 45:37Speaker 4: your previous days before our herbal refreshments were legal, did
- 45:43Speaker 4: you ever have to make trips over to your friend's house.
- 45:48Speaker 5: Yes?
- 45:49Speaker 4: Yeah, And like my point with this is that I
- 45:52Speaker 4: lived in Omaha and in Lincoln, so I had multiple
- 45:55Speaker 4: different friends I always went slumming when it came to
- 46:00Speaker 4: that kind of things. I always felt like I was
- 46:02Speaker 4: in a place I wouldn't normally be, Like I wouldn't
- 46:05Speaker 4: be hanging out here if it wasn't for my herbal refreshments,
- 46:08Speaker 4: you know what I mean, Like this guy wouldn't be
- 46:10Speaker 4: my friend. And it's not that he wasn't a good
- 46:12Speaker 4: guy or whatever else. It was just always like, you know,
- 46:14Speaker 4: kind of has this like tinge of like dog shit
- 46:16Speaker 4: smelling here, you know a little bit like like uh,
- 46:19Speaker 4: you know, I don't know, is that mildew? You know,
- 46:21Speaker 4: kind of a thing a little bit so I don't know,
- 46:24Speaker 4: I don't know if that if that makes sense. But
- 46:26Speaker 4: when I'm walking in somebody's house, the first thing I
- 46:28Speaker 4: notice is uh drapes and the color of her hair,
- 46:32Speaker 4: because I want to know do they match? And I'm kidding, ah,
- 46:35Speaker 4: there it is the drapes, the curtains, you know, like
- 46:37Speaker 4: are those like are those the poor ones I would buy?
- 46:41Speaker 2: Or did they go all out on that?
- 46:43Speaker 6: Do they have a floating island in their kitchen?
- 46:45Speaker 2: You know?
- 46:45Speaker 4: Like is there is there refrigerator filled with magnets? And
- 46:54Speaker 4: you know, Christmas cards and family pictures and things like that,
- 46:58Speaker 4: or is it like unkempt.
- 47:00Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 47:01Speaker 4: You know what I mean, Like, isn't like completely filled
- 47:03Speaker 4: with like Okay, that was like your six year old
- 47:05Speaker 4: six years old drawing and the papers all curled and
- 47:08Speaker 4: molded and mangled because it's all old and shit, probably
- 47:11Speaker 4: eight years old.
- 47:11Speaker 2: You know.
- 47:12Speaker 3: Another weird one, So I get where you're going now. So, Like,
- 47:15Speaker 3: one thing that I always associated with, like I guess
- 47:17Speaker 3: two things, was if they had a basketball hoop and
- 47:19Speaker 3: it was in the concrete like it was you know
- 47:21Speaker 3: what I mean, it wasn't one of the ones on
- 47:23Speaker 3: the wheels or whatever.
- 47:24Speaker 5: If it was one of those with the big glass back.
- 47:27Speaker 3: I'm always like, you're wealthy, wealthy, okay, I like how
- 47:31Speaker 3: much money you guys got.
- 47:33Speaker 5: But then also a weird one.
- 47:34Speaker 3: You were talking about these kitchen ones for some reason,
- 47:37Speaker 3: the little rack that goes above the island that hangs
- 47:40Speaker 3: the pants and the pots and stuff like that. For
- 47:43Speaker 3: some reason, because my mom always made like Hamburger helper
- 47:46Speaker 3: and just easy peasy meals and stuff I always associated with.
- 47:50Speaker 3: I'm like, that's a lot of pots and your mom
- 47:53Speaker 3: really knows how to cook. You have a really nice
- 47:56Speaker 3: upbringing like you have. Your mom really loves you. I
- 47:58Speaker 3: don't you know what I mean, I don't know what
- 47:59Speaker 3: it is. Every time I saw that, I'm like, cherish
- 48:02Speaker 3: that piece of shit. Don't be into your mountain.
- 48:04Speaker 1: You have more than what you have a pot and
- 48:07Speaker 1: a pan, more than one.
- 48:10Speaker 3: Gillets like these past iron skillets and all these other
- 48:12Speaker 3: different pots and pans.
- 48:13Speaker 1: What we see, that's what we do. We use all
- 48:15Speaker 1: cast iron because they don't go bad, you know what
- 48:18Speaker 1: I mean. Then they're very cheap, and I've had I've
- 48:20Speaker 1: had the same cast iron skillet that I've had since
- 48:22Speaker 1: probably nineteen or twenty, still using it still looks good
- 48:26Speaker 1: as long as the take care of it. And then
- 48:28Speaker 1: of course the wife was complaining, I want to do that.
- 48:30Speaker 1: So I found it in the clearanceile Walmart eight piece
- 48:34Speaker 1: or twelve piece set for twenty bucks. And they suck
- 48:38Speaker 1: like you're cooking with them, and you can smell the
- 48:41Speaker 1: chemicals and ship burning off it. I'm like, should have
- 48:43Speaker 1: stuck with the cast iron.
- 48:45Speaker 4: So I got I got two stories I want to share,
- 48:47Speaker 4: and I don't mean to hijack this whole thing, but
- 48:51Speaker 4: my wife wasn't. She didn't grow up like I did.
- 48:56Speaker 4: She grew up in a household where both her parents
- 48:58Speaker 4: work their fast as off. They were middle class. Dad
- 49:00Speaker 4: was a barber. I think I've told this story mom
- 49:02Speaker 4: Mom worked the customer service. But they lived in a
- 49:04Speaker 4: nice neighborhood and they never went without et cetera, et cetera.
- 49:09Speaker 4: They lived the normal American debt kind of. But then again,
- 49:13Speaker 4: they bought their house in the late eighties early nineties,
- 49:15Speaker 4: which he'll never be able to do quite like they did.
- 49:19Speaker 4: One day, my wife and I started dating about a
- 49:22Speaker 4: year year and a half in. She I'm a little
- 49:26Speaker 4: less naive than she was. She's not like this anymore.
- 49:29Speaker 4: It's just the way it was. She had. We attended
- 49:33Speaker 4: a at the at a hotel, a traveling convention sound
- 49:38Speaker 4: bad already, where somebody was selling pans, you know, these
- 49:44Speaker 4: like these nonstick, wonderful pans, and we ended up spending
- 49:48Speaker 4: like I think, like seventeen eighteen hundred dollars and.
- 49:53Speaker 2: Those pans. I told I knew it. I knew it.
- 49:55Speaker 4: Probably did this is a bad idea, but she wanted them.
- 49:57Speaker 4: These will be the only pans we ever had. Them
- 50:00Speaker 4: in the back underneath our sink three four years later,
- 50:03Speaker 4: and we never used them because they were just ship
- 50:05Speaker 4: pans and we ended up paying. It was a lesson
- 50:07Speaker 4: we paid. It was like twelve years ago. So it's
- 50:08Speaker 4: like water under the bridge, clearly, but I always remember
- 50:11Speaker 4: back to that moment, so I'm there. I'm also a
- 50:14Speaker 4: cast iron guy. But going back to where we were.
- 50:17Speaker 4: Another thing, I always judge folks on in their homes
- 50:20Speaker 4: when I go in, and I said this on my
- 50:22Speaker 4: radio show once and had people send pictures in because
- 50:25Speaker 4: I just wanted to see what was what their answer was,
- 50:27Speaker 4: but how stacked, cluttered filled the top of their fridges.
- 50:34Speaker 4: Basically the question was what's on your fridge? Because I
- 50:36Speaker 4: think that was kind of a fun thing, like what
- 50:37Speaker 4: do you put in your fridge? Oh cereal boxes, you know,
- 50:39Speaker 4: or a glass bowl or you know, like people had
- 50:42Speaker 4: such a bunch of random shit. Was really kind of
- 50:43Speaker 4: a fun experiment. But so if you have a cluttered
- 50:47Speaker 4: refrigerator on top, that probably says to me, some of these,
- 50:52Speaker 4: some of these closets and things, I'm going to open up,
- 50:55Speaker 4: there's going to be some lot of clutter back here,
- 50:57Speaker 4: and you're hiding shit.
- 50:58Speaker 2: It's what I'm getting.
- 50:58Speaker 1: At Oh yeah, that's me, one hundred percent mess I got.
- 51:02Speaker 1: I got the twelve year old pieces of paper from
- 51:05Speaker 1: the kids are working, and like you said, Chris, that's
- 51:09Speaker 1: the thing. But what's crazy too is a lot of
- 51:10Speaker 1: the fridges these days. They're made with the glass and
- 51:13Speaker 1: all that stuff. You can't even hang magnets. The parent
- 51:16Speaker 1: in laws, you know, they get parent laws. That's not
- 51:19Speaker 1: the right.
- 51:20Speaker 5: Is that the right?
- 51:20Speaker 1: Where I have a father in law, mother in law,
- 51:22Speaker 1: whatever in laws. The parent in laws I had had,
- 51:26Speaker 1: I just added it. I was fancying it up, putting
- 51:28Speaker 1: a little uh, you know, a little sprinkles, some parsley
- 51:30Speaker 1: on top of it. They they got this new fridge,
- 51:33Speaker 1: super fancy glass. Can't put a single magnet and they
- 51:37Speaker 1: are magnet people like usually we give them magnets the
- 51:39Speaker 1: kids for the school pictures and stuff. Can't hang them
- 51:43Speaker 1: can hang them up.
- 51:45Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 51:46Speaker 5: But I'm the same way.
- 51:47Speaker 3: I have cereal boxes and a whole bunch of shit
- 51:49Speaker 3: excuse me, on top of my refrigerator. And if you
- 51:53Speaker 3: walk into my basement, you're gonna be like, oh, this
- 51:54Speaker 3: basement's pretty picked up. And then you open up the
- 51:56Speaker 3: shoe closet and you're like, oh, dear god, they have
- 51:58Speaker 3: a lot of shoes because a lot.
- 52:00Speaker 5: Of different sports.
- 52:02Speaker 3: Then you have the bags for their different ball games,
- 52:04Speaker 3: and it's just I don't know if it's so rodge,
- 52:07Speaker 3: it's in a closet.
- 52:09Speaker 1: I dude, I hear, I hear. It's like I said,
- 52:11Speaker 1: our house isn't huge, but it's not small by any means.
- 52:13Speaker 1: But it's just there's a lot kids. They you know,
- 52:17Speaker 1: the girls, and they're all girls, so they all have
- 52:19Speaker 1: all the shoes, all the clothes all and they're they're
- 52:22Speaker 1: a little bit older now, so it's not as much toys.
- 52:24Speaker 1: We're able to get rid of those because young kid toys,
- 52:27Speaker 1: as you know, Brandon, take up a lot of room
- 52:29Speaker 1: and they are tough to organize sometimes. But like I said,
- 52:32Speaker 1: we're moving on from that thankfully, well not thankfully, but whatever.
- 52:35Speaker 1: And I know I read somewhere that a messy house
- 52:38Speaker 1: is a happy house, and I guess I don't really
- 52:41Speaker 1: know what happiness is so in that regard, because our
- 52:45Speaker 1: house is usually messy, and I think they mean by
- 52:48Speaker 1: it like we're not stressing, like we're not making the
- 52:51Speaker 1: kids always like we're like tidy your room, and it
- 52:52Speaker 1: gets to a point where it's, you know, the teenager.
- 52:55Speaker 1: Somebody's room is absolutely disgusting. So it's like, listen, you
- 52:58Speaker 1: got the weekend to clean it or unfortunately we're taking
- 53:00Speaker 1: the phone like it's up to you. I don't want
- 53:02Speaker 1: to be those like cleaning room. It has to be there,
- 53:04Speaker 1: So do I want them to be as clean as
- 53:06Speaker 1: they can be. Yeah, And we're not like horderbad, but
- 53:09Speaker 1: we're not like you're not gonna take a picture and
- 53:12Speaker 1: put it in a magazine if people come over. Yeah,
- 53:14Speaker 1: we throw some shit in some closets and make it
- 53:16Speaker 1: look decent. But up here it's usually outdoor chilling, you
- 53:20Speaker 1: know what I mean. We got a nice back porch
- 53:22Speaker 1: that's got the fire pits all in clothes, you know.
- 53:24Speaker 1: We got the backyard that's got another bonfire pit, and
- 53:27Speaker 1: it's not so much just coming like we hang out
- 53:29Speaker 1: in the kitchen. We don't have a fancy island or
- 53:32Speaker 1: the shit over there. We have this old ass huge
- 53:34Speaker 1: table that my uncle made in shop class forever ago,
- 53:37Speaker 1: that my grandparents had, and I live in my grandparents,
- 53:40Speaker 1: so it's like a piece of like I remember sitting
- 53:42Speaker 1: as a kid around this table, you know. So we
- 53:44Speaker 1: have that and that's just what we do. They always
- 53:46Speaker 1: hung out in the kitchen, our kitchen hanger outers, you know,
- 53:49Speaker 1: got TV out there. We watch our sports, have some food,
- 53:53Speaker 1: just converse, you know.
- 53:56Speaker 3: But we have an open kitchen and living room areas.
- 54:00Speaker 3: It's that's where we're at. No, I do have an island,
- 54:03Speaker 3: but it's not fancy. It's not fancy, but it's uh,
- 54:06Speaker 3: that's where we sit to eat and we have a
- 54:09Speaker 3: we have a dining room and a table there, and
- 54:12Speaker 3: the only time people eat there is whenever we have
- 54:15Speaker 3: the kids have like their slumber parties and stuff like that.
- 54:18Speaker 3: It is purely there, just as a piece of furniture.
- 54:22Speaker 3: We eat at that island, We hanging out that island.
- 54:25Speaker 2: We are an island by Jesus.
- 54:33Speaker 4: Emotional damage, nostalgia. All right.
- 54:38Speaker 1: Well, I looked at the clock for the very first time,
- 54:39Speaker 1: and Brandon was right. This is and was a fun
- 54:43Speaker 1: show man. You guys are lucky on the internet that
- 54:46Speaker 1: we don't live a little bit closer, because we would
- 54:48Speaker 1: do this more often in person and it would be
- 54:50Speaker 1: even more fun. But and as we're doing here, I
- 54:54Speaker 1: just got a message, Hey, the fences broke, so I
- 54:59Speaker 1: know what I'm doing. After some recordings, I'm gonna go
- 55:02Speaker 1: fix some fence in the eight degree weather. Yay.
- 55:06Speaker 5: Apologies to your penis.
- 55:10Speaker 1: All right, well you've been, Brandon. Appreciate you, guys, and
- 55:12Speaker 1: anybody listening appreciate you as well. Let us know where
- 55:15Speaker 1: you kind of stand. Are you a messy fridge? What's
- 55:18Speaker 1: on top of your fridge? What's in your fridge? Let
- 55:20Speaker 1: us know and we'll be back next week. You've been
- 55:23Speaker 1: good luck warming up absolutely all right, take careverybody. We're out,
- 55:28Speaker 1: Bye bye
