- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Meloncamp and camera. Jedge. Hi, guys,
- 0:13Speaker 1: welcome to two Teas in a Pod with myself, Teddy
- 0:16Speaker 1: Melloncamp and camera. Judge, you sound very quiet, jeez. Okay,
- 0:24Speaker 1: you know, came up from New York yesterday after the
- 0:27Speaker 1: announcement I'm watching Heavens Live. We stayed as the first
- 0:31Speaker 1: time I ever done. So we stayed on the rooftop
- 0:33Speaker 1: with Andy and a bunch of people outside that little area.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I forged out there one time, and um, we were
- 0:40Speaker 1: there till probably midnight. Then we decided to go to
- 0:44Speaker 1: some I guess it was a club. I'm not sure.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I don't. Don't worry. Just so you guys know, Tam
- 0:50Speaker 1: sent the entire I Heart Radio group chat video from
- 0:56Speaker 1: the club. Yeah, and if the club was like the
- 0:59Speaker 1: size of a hall allway, it was super narrow. I'm like,
- 1:01Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, this is a COVID club for sure.
- 1:04Speaker 1: And then um, we had an early flight. We had
- 1:07Speaker 1: to leave the hotel like at four forty five or
- 1:09Speaker 1: something like that. So I'm like, Jim, let's just stay
- 1:12Speaker 1: up all night long. And I'm like, oh my god.
- 1:14Speaker 1: We got to the hotel at four, Thank god. I
- 1:17Speaker 1: put my alarm on for an hour, got up, went
- 1:20Speaker 1: to the airport. I went home. I couldn't really sleep
- 1:23Speaker 1: on the plane, and then I went about eight o'clock yesterday,
- 1:28Speaker 1: which was pretty early, got up at two am. I've
- 1:30Speaker 1: been up since two am. I know me too, I've
- 1:33Speaker 1: been up well. I was up at to thirty, fell
- 1:36Speaker 1: back to sleep for like thirty minutes. Finally at four,
- 1:38Speaker 1: I'm like, whatever, I'm I can't take it. I gotta
- 1:42Speaker 1: get up, worked out, drove. I'm in Orange County right now,
- 1:45Speaker 1: and my my daughter is doing a horse show, and
- 1:48Speaker 1: so I've been swimming like we're at the hotel nice.
- 1:53Speaker 1: So I know I wanted to come, but I'm just like,
- 1:55Speaker 1: I'm just so dad. And then my my cousin is
- 1:58Speaker 1: um she listened last I shoudn't move too far, but
- 2:01Speaker 1: she's in town. She was in l A and she's
- 2:03Speaker 1: gonna stop by here with her baby. And so I'm like,
- 2:06Speaker 1: oh my gosh, I'm just exhausted. I am wiped out. Well,
- 2:09Speaker 1: of course, well, I think it was pretty clear how
- 2:13Speaker 1: great it was. Because my husband never comments on anything housewives, never,
- 2:19Speaker 1: and he goes Tam was working it so good on
- 2:26Speaker 1: Watch What Happens Live, and she looked so happy. And
- 2:29Speaker 1: then she looked so happy on your clip from the podcast.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I'm like, I noticed that you said clip. Does that
- 2:34Speaker 1: mean you don't listen to the podcast? It's like, what
- 2:36Speaker 1: would I listen to? I have no idea what the
- 2:38Speaker 1: helly all are talking about? Like, He's like, but she
- 2:41Speaker 1: seemed so happy. I'm like, I you really looked so
- 2:45Speaker 1: beautiful and you're having such a fun time. It was fun.
- 2:48Speaker 1: I had a lot of fun. I sent a picture
- 2:50Speaker 1: of me holding the orange and my first a she
- 2:54Speaker 1: cat sit, and I sent it to my daughter Sophia,
- 2:56Speaker 1: and she wrote me back and she goes, who styled you?
- 3:00Speaker 1: And I go, Rasachi, I actually styled myself. And she goes, well,
- 3:04Speaker 1: you need to fire him. That is the ugly thing
- 3:06Speaker 1: I've ever seen. So thank you so much for raining
- 3:09Speaker 1: on my parade. Thank you, thank you for the confidence builder.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Needed that, right Yeah? Yeah, but I mean I had
- 3:14Speaker 1: a great time. You know, when we recorded last podcast,
- 3:19Speaker 1: it was prior to me. It was the day, it was,
- 3:21Speaker 1: the morning, was the morning up? Um it was. I
- 3:26Speaker 1: got there and I was just exhausted. I was just
- 3:28Speaker 1: mentally exhausted, and Caroline did my makeup and she's like,
- 3:32Speaker 1: I've never seen you so quiet, and I said, I know,
- 3:35Speaker 1: I'm just so like exhausted physically, emotionally, everything. And so
- 3:39Speaker 1: they're like, you need some tequila, and I'm like, okay,
- 3:44Speaker 1: how did tequila? Had a shot at tequila? First? I
- 3:46Speaker 1: started with margarita. Then I had a couple of shots
- 3:48Speaker 1: of tequila and that definitely livened me up. But I'll
- 3:51Speaker 1: tell you, when I can't even watch myself, like walking
- 3:54Speaker 1: in I'm like, why do I walk like that? This
- 3:58Speaker 1: is you're saying that to the wrong Well, I think
- 4:01Speaker 1: I'm in good company. And then I know. And then
- 4:06Speaker 1: for those of you that don't know, I broke my
- 4:09Speaker 1: toe bad the night before I left New York. Literally,
- 4:14Speaker 1: I mean it was so bad. I screamed on the
- 4:18Speaker 1: top of my lungs. It caught on my stationary bike.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I was screaming and Eddie came in and he goes,
- 4:24Speaker 1: which wrong. I go, I think I broke my toe
- 4:26Speaker 1: And we both looked down and the toe was sideways,
- 4:29Speaker 1: like literally sideway. So he's like, okay, I'm gonna pop
- 4:32Speaker 1: it back in hold on, So I popped it back in.
- 4:34Speaker 1: I'm screaming I had to wear heels. If I walk
- 4:39Speaker 1: on like the inside of my foot, it doesn't really
- 4:43Speaker 1: it hurts. It doesn't hurt that bad. So I was
- 4:44Speaker 1: able to wear heels. But now I'm paying the price.
- 4:47Speaker 1: My lower back hurts because I was walking weird. And
- 4:50Speaker 1: then my toe is black and blue, and I'm like, oh,
- 4:54Speaker 1: you know what, I don't want to hear about this,
- 4:56Speaker 1: Debbie Downer. You know, just held it. You look beautiful.
- 5:01Speaker 1: We never would have noticed your walk. I personally am
- 5:05Speaker 1: noticing how red my face is from being outside. Um. No,
- 5:12Speaker 1: you were so good. It was so fun um even,
- 5:16Speaker 1: but I didn't know because you didn't tell us that
- 5:18Speaker 1: when you came out, he was gonna say what we
- 5:22Speaker 1: we talked about on the pod about Sutton, Oh about
- 5:26Speaker 1: you calling Sutton mean? Oh? My response was so good.
- 5:31Speaker 1: I was like tequila talking. But it was so quick.
- 5:35Speaker 1: I was like cham because I was like, shoot, how
- 5:38Speaker 1: is she gonna respond to this? I love that our
- 5:41Speaker 1: podcast gets brought up on Watch It Happens Live repeatedly,
- 5:45Speaker 1: Watch What Happens Live, Page six, Daney, It's a lot,
- 5:50Speaker 1: I mean, nothing like being faced with oh shit, what
- 5:55Speaker 1: do I say now, and I don't really, I don't
- 5:57Speaker 1: know that I said Sutton was mean. I she was
- 6:00Speaker 1: being mean in that episode. So but like I you know,
- 6:03Speaker 1: I'm honest. I like my housewives mean and dirty. I do.
- 6:06Speaker 1: We like them messy. We liked them a touch there, Steve,
- 6:09Speaker 1: we don't mind. So Sudden was very nice to me afterwards,
- 6:13Speaker 1: and we hung out a little bit in the green room,
- 6:16Speaker 1: and um, yeah, she was super cool. So you know
- 6:21Speaker 1: what a little bit. She had quite the entourage around
- 6:25Speaker 1: her friends. I don't know if they're friends or makeup
- 6:29Speaker 1: people or she had a lot of people surrounding her.
- 6:31Speaker 1: So I didn't want to bother her. But she was
- 6:33Speaker 1: super nice. She said hi, and she was They're all
- 6:36Speaker 1: really nice. It was fun. It was a really fun night.
- 6:39Speaker 1: All right, let's get into a little fan questions because
- 6:42Speaker 1: we did the Q and A. Um, the first question
- 6:45Speaker 1: that everybody is asking is, well, Tamra stay on the
- 6:49Speaker 1: pod when she goes back to O C. And the
- 6:54Speaker 1: answer is yes, yeah, yes, you guys, she will stay
- 7:02Speaker 1: on the pod. Chairs, chairs. Cheers to that. Yeah. I mean, well,
- 7:08Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be able to I probably won't be
- 7:11Speaker 1: able to do to a week like we do. So
- 7:14Speaker 1: I'll probably be limited to you know how often because
- 7:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna be so busy. I'm having my last hurrah.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I'm going to Italy on Tuesday. So the reason Tam
- 7:23Speaker 1: won't be here next week, you well, we're gonna do
- 7:26Speaker 1: one more episode before she goes to Italy. But the
- 7:29Speaker 1: reason she won't be here for a week is not
- 7:31Speaker 1: because she's leaving the pod. It's because she's going on vacation.
- 7:34Speaker 1: How dare she? I know? Right? So I'm going to
- 7:37Speaker 1: Italy on Tuesday. We're going to Milan, and we're going
- 7:41Speaker 1: to Switzerland and then we're going back to Italy. We're
- 7:43Speaker 1: going to Lake Homo for one of our friend's weddings.
- 7:46Speaker 1: So I mean, I just I can't wait. It's like
- 7:49Speaker 1: the perfect like calmness before the storm. Well, on that
- 7:55Speaker 1: same note, Tam will be able to cover all the
- 7:58Speaker 1: Housewife shows with us except for Orange County. So my
- 8:03Speaker 1: question is, who would you guys want to co host
- 8:07Speaker 1: with me to recap Orange County, Like, let's dig deep here.
- 8:12Speaker 1: I don't want it to be somebody expected. I wanted
- 8:17Speaker 1: somebody not tied to Tamera at all. Yeah, of course
- 8:21Speaker 1: we'll have different guests people on, but I feel like
- 8:23Speaker 1: we need somebody watching us, see that's completely blindsided by it,
- 8:27Speaker 1: like what is happening here? Yeah, that I think that'll
- 8:30Speaker 1: be great. I'm really happy that I'm not going to
- 8:33Speaker 1: be covering Orange County because I just feel like that
- 8:36Speaker 1: would be extremely difficult and you know, my mouth, I'll
- 8:40Speaker 1: get myself in trouble and I'm just like, just take
- 8:43Speaker 1: that away from me, and don't you dare ask me
- 8:45Speaker 1: any questions. But what I'm doing on the show. No,
- 8:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna but I can't. Well, we'll do our best,
- 8:52Speaker 1: tam Um, don't even tempt me. The next question is, Teddy,
- 8:58Speaker 1: would you go back to real lives of Beverly Hills
- 9:01Speaker 1: if they asked you. Guys, they're not gonna ask me.
- 9:03Speaker 1: It's gonna be fine. That's not the question. Um. I
- 9:09Speaker 1: at this point, I don't even put it through my
- 9:13Speaker 1: head because watching Beverly Hills, just watching it this season
- 9:17Speaker 1: with my friends is so brutal that I wouldn't want
- 9:20Speaker 1: to live that. So the answer is, yeah, you go back. No,
- 9:24Speaker 1: the answer is I'm just kidding. Not in its current state.
- 9:30Speaker 1: We'll never say never. So that I feel like there
- 9:33Speaker 1: are other opportunities that I'd rather do that aren't like
- 9:38Speaker 1: I just see the brutal like I see the mistakes,
- 9:41Speaker 1: I see the brutal attacks, and it's like that I
- 9:43Speaker 1: don't miss that. Um. But of course, I mean there
- 9:47Speaker 1: are parts that there's perks. Yeah, so that it is
- 9:52Speaker 1: what it is. UM. The next one is we gotta
- 9:55Speaker 1: keep this short and sweet. But how we both started
- 9:58Speaker 1: our businesses? Which one, UM, whatever one you want, TAM.
- 10:04Speaker 1: They didn't specify. Well, you guys all watched me start
- 10:07Speaker 1: cut Fitness UM on the show ten years ago. So
- 10:12Speaker 1: that was the very first business I started. And as
- 10:16Speaker 1: far as Vena, nobody really got to see that because
- 10:19Speaker 1: it was not on the show the year that I left.
- 10:22Speaker 1: But that was just a company that I knew that
- 10:24Speaker 1: I did not want to do another brick and mortar
- 10:26Speaker 1: business just so difficult, you know, and you know it's
- 10:29Speaker 1: hard to get stuff and rent is high around here
- 10:32Speaker 1: and all that. So really was interested in CBD and
- 10:36Speaker 1: just met with a lot of people and connected with
- 10:39Speaker 1: a lot of the right people and we started it,
- 10:43Speaker 1: and thank god we did, because it's been extremely successful. Uh.
- 10:47Speaker 1: And for me, with all in UM, I really was
- 10:52Speaker 1: at the lowest part of my life, like had I
- 10:55Speaker 1: had wanted kids so badly, had worked so hard, I
- 10:57Speaker 1: had miscarriages, I had gone through all these things. Then
- 11:00Speaker 1: I realized I was starting to almost like sabotage my
- 11:04Speaker 1: marriage and my relationships because I was so unhappy with
- 11:08Speaker 1: where I was and I wasn't taking care of myself,
- 11:10Speaker 1: and I was thinking about, you know, what do I
- 11:12Speaker 1: want to show my kids? And so I used Instagram
- 11:17Speaker 1: to change my life. I said, Hi, follow me. You know,
- 11:19Speaker 1: I'm going to change my life today. And for a
- 11:22Speaker 1: year it was just about me changing my life. But
- 11:25Speaker 1: then ultimately people were like, I want to be held accountable,
- 11:27Speaker 1: but I don't want to do it on Instagram. And
- 11:31Speaker 1: that's how I got my first client. And now my
- 11:33Speaker 1: first client has turned into my thousand clients. You know.
- 11:36Speaker 1: It's it really has grown from there. And it's the
- 11:39Speaker 1: main thing for me is I had to stop looking
- 11:43Speaker 1: to other people for validation on what I was doing
- 11:46Speaker 1: and just put one ft in front of the other.
- 11:47Speaker 1: No that I'm going to make mistakes, but know that
- 11:50Speaker 1: my ultimate goal is to help others, and also so
- 11:53Speaker 1: hold myself accountable to this lifestyle change that I have
- 11:56Speaker 1: created because the alternative is my mental health fails, my
- 12:01Speaker 1: marriage fails, my friendships fail, and then kind of everything
- 12:04Speaker 1: shifted for me after, you know, I went all in.
- 12:08Speaker 1: I think every successful company has a story like that,
- 12:12Speaker 1: Like you have to have your y And for us
- 12:15Speaker 1: with fa Eddie was going through his health issues, we
- 12:17Speaker 1: were looking for, like you know, because he was on
- 12:19Speaker 1: so many pharmaceuticals, we were looking for alternative healthy ways
- 12:24Speaker 1: to help with different elements anxiety, sleep, things like that.
- 12:28Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not saying that cured is hard issues
- 12:31Speaker 1: by any means, or cure cures anything. But I think
- 12:34Speaker 1: every good company, successful company has a good story behind it.
- 12:38Speaker 1: And that's a great story yours is do And I
- 12:42Speaker 1: think you just have to know that not every day
- 12:45Speaker 1: is going to be perfect, and if you're passionate about
- 12:48Speaker 1: it though, it ends up working out. And because you're
- 12:51Speaker 1: just gonna keep you're gonna out work anybody else if
- 12:55Speaker 1: you really believe in it. Um. The next one is
- 12:58Speaker 1: favorite and least favorite thing about doing a podcast? Oh
- 13:02Speaker 1: my gosh, Um, favorite is just being with you. I
- 13:05Speaker 1: have so much fun doing it. It doesn't really feel
- 13:07Speaker 1: like a job, even though we're getting paid and it
- 13:09Speaker 1: is a job. It's just fun. I feel like there's
- 13:12Speaker 1: so much. I mean, how many things have we done,
- 13:15Speaker 1: like events we've gone to, traveling we've done together and
- 13:18Speaker 1: just you know, getting to know you better and you know,
- 13:21Speaker 1: you're like one of my best friends now. So it's
- 13:23Speaker 1: like that to me is my favorite. The least favorite,
- 13:27Speaker 1: I don't have a lot of like, oh my god,
- 13:30Speaker 1: I don't want to do the podcast. I think probably
- 13:32Speaker 1: the least favorite was is having to watch so many
- 13:34Speaker 1: housewife shows because you know, sometimes there's four out a time,
- 13:38Speaker 1: and I'm not a big TV person, so it's like
- 13:41Speaker 1: to sit down. I think it's my A D D
- 13:43Speaker 1: like sit down and actually watch TV. It's very hard
- 13:45Speaker 1: for me because you have to be invested. You can't
- 13:48Speaker 1: just like watch. I mean we have notes, notes on
- 13:51Speaker 1: notes like it. Yeah, I would say to piggyback on
- 13:57Speaker 1: what you said. My least I'll start with my least
- 13:59Speaker 1: favorite is you have to really commit to every show
- 14:03Speaker 1: that you're watching. Where a lot of the times as
- 14:05Speaker 1: like a business owner, a mom, all these types of
- 14:07Speaker 1: things scrolling while you're watching. Yeah, your half in, half out,
- 14:11Speaker 1: like you're not like that invested. I mean except for
- 14:14Speaker 1: some of like the Twitter Warriors, like, you're not that
- 14:16Speaker 1: invested in episodes, but we have to be whether we're
- 14:20Speaker 1: enjoying the episode or not, because if we miss one,
- 14:23Speaker 1: crumb y'all are on our asses. And some you know,
- 14:26Speaker 1: sometimes they're not that interesting, and to sit there, it's
- 14:29Speaker 1: like it's sometimes it could be you know, a little painful.
- 14:32Speaker 1: But also if you're watching them back to back, it
- 14:34Speaker 1: may be interesting, but you just watched a really amazing
- 14:37Speaker 1: one right before, and then it feels like you're almost
- 14:40Speaker 1: get like a callous to what's going on. You know,
- 14:43Speaker 1: I can't watch more than two, so that's my limit.
- 14:46Speaker 1: So you know, I was gone. I got home yesterday.
- 14:49Speaker 1: I was exhausted. And when I got home, of course
- 14:50Speaker 1: I had to catch up on everything, laundry, emails, all
- 14:53Speaker 1: that stuff. And so I'm like, I gotta watch two
- 14:57Speaker 1: and including The Ultimate Girls Trips. So I watched that
- 14:59Speaker 1: one first and in Beverly Hills, So those are my
- 15:01Speaker 1: two favorites. And then I'm like, I can't do more
- 15:05Speaker 1: than that. I just physically can't sit there for four hours.
- 15:09Speaker 1: So I got up this morning super early, and I
- 15:12Speaker 1: watched to the other two and then I watched Dubai Atlanta.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Did you rewatch any of them? Sometimes we have to
- 15:18Speaker 1: do rewatches, Well, I usually do have to rewatches, but
- 15:22Speaker 1: I just I just couldn't do it. I didn't do
- 15:24Speaker 1: a rewatch either because I had all my kids with
- 15:26Speaker 1: me and it's not really a kid friendly show. Um.
- 15:30Speaker 1: And then the next question for me is pretty obvious.
- 15:33Speaker 1: It's what was your first concert? Janet jack Janet Jackson.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Mine was the coupe of course, my dad his first
- 15:42Speaker 1: hit was the year I was born, so that was
- 15:45Speaker 1: I'm assuming my first concert. I'm I'm not a concert person.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I'm not really I'm not good with crowds, Like I
- 15:53Speaker 1: don't like to be in places that are super crowded,
- 15:56Speaker 1: like going to Disneyland. That's very farm. Concerts not the
- 16:00Speaker 1: top of my list of things I love to do.
- 16:02Speaker 1: It depends on if I'm a huge fan or not. Um.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Last fan thought. If you guys were on the same franchise,
- 16:10Speaker 1: do you think you'd be real friends? Yes? I do too,
- 16:13Speaker 1: But I think if I would have come, And I
- 16:17Speaker 1: think that a part of me has changed since my
- 16:21Speaker 1: first season on Housewives, And it's not about I've I've
- 16:26Speaker 1: just become more comfortable and what it is that I'm saying. Immediately,
- 16:30Speaker 1: I feel like I maybe would have had a similar
- 16:32Speaker 1: situation with you as I did with maybe, I don't know,
- 16:38Speaker 1: maybe Erica my first season, just because you were so
- 16:42Speaker 1: advanced in your and you know, comfortable in what you
- 16:45Speaker 1: were saying and doing, and I would like get very
- 16:47Speaker 1: nervous if somebody were to get aggressive with me. And
- 16:51Speaker 1: now I'm I'm like, whatever come for me? Yeah, Like
- 16:55Speaker 1: but also I mean it's a hard thing to just
- 16:57Speaker 1: jump into. But I'm alsoeen years older than you, and
- 17:02Speaker 1: when I started the show, I was thirty nine years old.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Thirty nine years old. Now I think back of the
- 17:09Speaker 1: things I said and done and the feelings I had
- 17:11Speaker 1: back then, I'm like, oh my gosh, I would never
- 17:14Speaker 1: do that. I would never say that, Like, I wouldn't
- 17:16Speaker 1: be stressed about that. Like just I think getting older
- 17:21Speaker 1: and I think that's something that I think, as it
- 17:24Speaker 1: depends on the franchise, but something that I think we'll
- 17:27Speaker 1: end up talking about when we cover Beverly Hills. Today
- 17:30Speaker 1: is a lot of women on that show when you
- 17:32Speaker 1: go to kind of make fun of yourself or be
- 17:36Speaker 1: self deprecating, they don't know that's what you're doing. So
- 17:41Speaker 1: then it's either pity or it's like a weird job,
- 17:45Speaker 1: Like there's not they don't know how to handle that
- 17:48Speaker 1: because everybody wants to appear to be this like perfect
- 17:51Speaker 1: human being all the time. That then it's you know,
- 17:55Speaker 1: it's a little rough at the beginning. But so I
- 17:58Speaker 1: I don't know, I'm I know we would have ended
- 18:00Speaker 1: up being friends because it's so effortless with you now.
- 18:03Speaker 1: But I think my first season would have been rough
- 18:05Speaker 1: no matter where I was. Yeah, I think everybody's season
- 18:07Speaker 1: is kind of rough mentally, but I think like for me,
- 18:09Speaker 1: I'm totally drawn to down to earth people. Yeah, that's
- 18:13Speaker 1: who I'm drawn to. Like I can't deal with braggers
- 18:16Speaker 1: and big eg goes and things like that drives me crazy.
- 18:20Speaker 1: And you don't have any of that, No I don't,
- 18:23Speaker 1: But you just have a weird walk. I would just
- 18:25Speaker 1: I just have a weird walk and not the best voice.
- 18:27Speaker 1: But you guys still tune in, so thank you. Um alright.
- 18:33Speaker 1: A lot of pictures have been posted about Real Housewives
- 18:37Speaker 1: Girls trips season three were I'm looking at the cast
- 18:40Speaker 1: right now, it's I mean, they all look like they're
- 18:44Speaker 1: smiling and happy at this moment. But I feel like
- 18:47Speaker 1: this is gonna be a pretty good cast. I feel
- 18:48Speaker 1: like there's gonna be I'm looking at the picture and
- 18:52Speaker 1: I'm I just now I'm realizing there's elephants behind them. Oh,
- 18:55Speaker 1: I know, I didn't realize that either. Why does it
- 18:58Speaker 1: look like they're all going to a different aren't place? There? Now?
- 19:02Speaker 1: There's in abron shorts, then Porsches in a cat suit,
- 19:07Speaker 1: Leah's in like a skimpy bikini. Um, hold on, who's
- 19:12Speaker 1: water Mariston like workout close a workout clothes or like
- 19:17Speaker 1: a little black dress. I don't understand. And the water
- 19:22Speaker 1: shoes the same ones you guys sported on Girls Trip.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Those who were yeah, real special were great. But let's
- 19:28Speaker 1: let's take a little break. Will come back for a
- 19:30Speaker 1: Girl's Trip. All right, we're back. Let's talk about Girls
- 19:42Speaker 1: Trip before we get into any kind of recap. I
- 19:45Speaker 1: have a question for you, and this is very important.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Why do all of the women on this show either
- 19:52Speaker 1: not realize when they themselves are crying or when somebody
- 19:57Speaker 1: else around them is crying? Like the scene where Vicky
- 20:01Speaker 1: doesn't know she's crying and you're walking out of the
- 20:03Speaker 1: room and and you're like, yeah, I think that's just Vicky.
- 20:09Speaker 1: I'm just like I'm so immune to her nonsense. But
- 20:12Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, you're crying, but my sunglasses on. Oh tears?
- 20:19Speaker 1: And then um, when Brandy starts crying, it's so clear
- 20:23Speaker 1: she's crying. She's like like stumbles away from the table.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Didn't Drenda say, well, should I cry? Yeah? During No.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Then Drenda goes, oh, she's crying, and then she goes,
- 20:34Speaker 1: I'm crying. I'm like, no, you're you're not. She has
- 20:37Speaker 1: the same thing to me when I started crying. She's like,
- 20:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna cry. I'm like, okay, well I'm gonna cry.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Than I'm crying. No, Dorenda, we're looking at you. You're crying,
- 20:47Speaker 1: and Vicky, you are crying. So is Brandy. Let's decipher
- 20:51Speaker 1: what if no water comes out of your eye, it's
- 20:55Speaker 1: not crying. Well, have you or a whimper? I mean
- 20:59Speaker 1: we all a lot heads get called out like you're
- 21:01Speaker 1: not really crying because you know you have makeup on.
- 21:05Speaker 1: You don't want like black running down your face like
- 21:08Speaker 1: Erica did that one scene. So why didn't she wipe it?
- 21:11Speaker 1: Why didn't she wipe it? Sympathy cry. I don't know,
- 21:14Speaker 1: but like if you you can feel when that's happening. Yeah,
- 21:18Speaker 1: well she wanted to lay it all out there. I
- 21:20Speaker 1: don't know, I want to ask her. I don't even sweat,
- 21:24Speaker 1: so even when I cry, it's more just like hysteria redness.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Well you're dehydrated then no, even no matter how much
- 21:32Speaker 1: I could go, get an ivy And the only place
- 21:34Speaker 1: I'll sweat is under my arms, your pits, under my pits,
- 21:38Speaker 1: your pits. I'm not I've always been like that since
- 21:40Speaker 1: I was a little kid. But um, then Dorinda says
- 21:44Speaker 1: she wants to leave on a positive note and it's
- 21:47Speaker 1: done worrying about people. Her motto is I don't give
- 21:50Speaker 1: a ship and instead of make it nice. Well that's
- 21:54Speaker 1: convenient since it was the last day. But she didn't
- 21:58Speaker 1: do it. And when they showed her eating the pizza
- 22:01Speaker 1: in the bed, oh my god. I lived for that moment, lived, lived,
- 22:04Speaker 1: lived and loved it. What night did she actually eat
- 22:08Speaker 1: the pizza? I was a little confused by. I don't know,
- 22:11Speaker 1: I don't know, And did you guys get pizza? Well,
- 22:14Speaker 1: you know, wasn't the night that Brandy was lifting up
- 22:16Speaker 1: her shirt dress and showing her It must have been.
- 22:21Speaker 1: It must have been. I liked, you know, I like
- 22:24Speaker 1: duringed every time I've been around her. But she was
- 22:27Speaker 1: really hard to watch this episode. This episode, well, I
- 22:32Speaker 1: mean I blocked out the others. I have to go
- 22:35Speaker 1: into each episode as if it's a grand new show,
- 22:37Speaker 1: because if not, I can't. But this episode was especially
- 22:43Speaker 1: bad because she just couldn't even let other people enjoy themselves. Yeah,
- 22:50Speaker 1: I mean, I love her, but I don't know that
- 22:51Speaker 1: I ever want to film with her again. No, it's frightening.
- 22:55Speaker 1: I want to save our friendship. And I was able to.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Like she text me in New York and maybe it
- 23:01Speaker 1: was after our podcast, but out I'm not sure and
- 23:06Speaker 1: she said, or no, it was after Watch What Happens Live.
- 23:09Speaker 1: That's probably what it was. And she said to me,
- 23:11Speaker 1: she texts me, She's like, are you mad at me?
- 23:13Speaker 1: I'm like, no, why would you get mad at me?
- 23:15Speaker 1: She goes, Oh, that's what I love about you, Like
- 23:17Speaker 1: you can just say whatever you say on the show,
- 23:18Speaker 1: and I can say whatever I say and you don't
- 23:20Speaker 1: take it to heart. I go, no, I don't, no,
- 23:23Speaker 1: especially on Girls Trip because there's an expiration date that's different.
- 23:27Speaker 1: I can't believe it's over. Yeah, I can't believe it's over,
- 23:32Speaker 1: just like that, it's gone. But I do believe that
- 23:35Speaker 1: they're probably going to play it on Bravo next Oh yeah,
- 23:38Speaker 1: for sure, I think so too. I mean we have
- 23:40Speaker 1: we don't have any insider knowledge on this, but they
- 23:42Speaker 1: did that with the Last Girl's Trip, I would assume
- 23:44Speaker 1: and Miami, so I would assume they did this too.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Um Brandy doing her walk of shame. Uh and then
- 23:50Speaker 1: that was so hilarious when she's like walk a shame,
- 23:54Speaker 1: she goes, no, I'm not ashame, and like Brandy was
- 23:58Speaker 1: very lovable episode where this was probably one of Direnda's worst,
- 24:03Speaker 1: this was one of Brandy's best. We can I tell
- 24:05Speaker 1: you something about Brandy. Um, Brandy knew that I was
- 24:08Speaker 1: coming back early on because we were in New York
- 24:11Speaker 1: doing pressed together for Ultimate Girl's Trip and I got
- 24:15Speaker 1: the text message when she was right next to me,
- 24:17Speaker 1: and I started screaming, you know that they were you know,
- 24:20Speaker 1: and um she and it wasn't the text was and
- 24:23Speaker 1: that I was coming back. It was just you know,
- 24:25Speaker 1: we were moving along and um. So she she was
- 24:29Speaker 1: so sweet and so supportive. She did not tell anybody
- 24:34Speaker 1: nobody what you know we talked about. She is like
- 24:38Speaker 1: a write and die she like people. I don't think
- 24:40Speaker 1: people realize this, but she does not repeat anything unless
- 24:44Speaker 1: she's getting paid for it. Well no, or unless she's
- 24:47Speaker 1: personally involved in it. It's different. But if it's about
- 24:50Speaker 1: somebody else that she is not involved with, she's not
- 24:53Speaker 1: gonna out you, like she's not so reckless. Nope, that
- 24:57Speaker 1: she would do that, And I think that shows the
- 24:59Speaker 1: kind of person that she is. Ultimately, Yeah, people realize that.
- 25:04Speaker 1: But just so sweet, so kind, so supportive, like I
- 25:07Speaker 1: just love her to death, but she was she's such
- 25:10Speaker 1: good TV. And I cracked up at her walking out
- 25:14Speaker 1: with her hair sticking up her dress, her dress like
- 25:18Speaker 1: the thing from The Extensions, which we've all had it
- 25:20Speaker 1: where it's the tracks showing the track showing there's like
- 25:23Speaker 1: the circle where you have she's missing three fingernails, like
- 25:25Speaker 1: she doesn't like the fingernails. And then I don't remember
- 25:28Speaker 1: was it Phaedra who was like, are you kind of
- 25:31Speaker 1: losing her finger out like she would? Okay, I think
- 25:35Speaker 1: we talked about this before. Brandy carries a bag of
- 25:38Speaker 1: nails in her purse and they're like Lee press On
- 25:40Speaker 1: and she just clues them on. Now. When I was
- 25:42Speaker 1: in New York on the flight there, it wasn't bad
- 25:46Speaker 1: enough that I broke my freaking toe the night before.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Then I'm trying to get my tray up, smashed my finger,
- 25:52Speaker 1: broke my nail. I'm like, are you kidding me right now?
- 25:54Speaker 1: And I said, screw it, I'm getting Lee press On
- 25:57Speaker 1: or whatever they're called. So we went to Sally Beauty
- 25:59Speaker 1: to see our new skin are not our new but
- 26:01Speaker 1: our skin care line. Yeah, tell me about this really quick, Okay. Yeah.
- 26:04Speaker 1: So I mean it's kind of a huge thing. So
- 26:07Speaker 1: Sally has Sally Beauty has picked up all of our
- 26:10Speaker 1: skincare line and that includes like our CBD soaking salts
- 26:14Speaker 1: are three products in our skin care line, and our
- 26:18Speaker 1: Manuka honey, which is like all of the body. So,
- 26:21Speaker 1: I mean it's huge. It's right at eye level, over
- 26:23Speaker 1: two thousand Sally Beauties. So I went in there to
- 26:26Speaker 1: see it and my girlfriend goes, I think you need
- 26:28Speaker 1: to get some press on nails. So while you're while
- 26:32Speaker 1: you're here, can you fix your disaster of a hand. Yeah.
- 26:36Speaker 1: So I had critics that were really short and one
- 26:39Speaker 1: missing one. So I picked it off and then I
- 26:42Speaker 1: got it back to the room. I'm like, it doesn't
- 26:44Speaker 1: even match my other nail, and so then I had
- 26:46Speaker 1: to put the other. So I still have them on,
- 26:49Speaker 1: and they're not I can't get them off. So I'm like,
- 26:52Speaker 1: I'm us like glue or whatever it is. Yeah, it
- 26:55Speaker 1: was like a gel, like crazy glue, and I'm like,
- 26:58Speaker 1: oh my god, I'm thinking I'm a little obsessed with
- 27:00Speaker 1: So now I just went to CVS and about all
- 27:01Speaker 1: kinds of designer ones that I could just glue and
- 27:04Speaker 1: press on. No, I can't. I I couldn't look away
- 27:08Speaker 1: because I'm the type that my hands are already such
- 27:10Speaker 1: a disaster that if I break a nail, I would
- 27:12Speaker 1: rather pretend that this one has been amputated and then
- 27:18Speaker 1: show that it's broken. I have the ugliest hands ever.
- 27:22Speaker 1: I always have even impossible impossible, no idea. Me and
- 27:26Speaker 1: Kyle had long conversation about our hands. I saw her
- 27:29Speaker 1: the last time. Um, okay, so then you guys go canoeing. Taylor.
- 27:37Speaker 1: You know what, Taylor, I got it. I got what
- 27:40Speaker 1: Brandy did to you how many years ago, you know,
- 27:44Speaker 1: And I just kind of I have another question. Did
- 27:50Speaker 1: Taylor need to wash her hair the entire trip? Oh
- 27:53Speaker 1: my god, that's so funny you say that, because I
- 27:55Speaker 1: was thinking the same thing every single time we saw her.
- 27:57Speaker 1: She was in there drying her hair Russian. But what
- 28:01Speaker 1: I think what that is is just like the extension,
- 28:04Speaker 1: like dry shampoo blow out. I think she withheld her
- 28:07Speaker 1: same blow out the entire time because the style never changed.
- 28:10Speaker 1: And if I try to blow my own hair out,
- 28:12Speaker 1: like look, you can see like that, it doesn't have
- 28:16Speaker 1: the flip, there's none of it. It's like a disaster.
- 28:19Speaker 1: But she was able to maintain. I'm like, mm hmm.
- 28:22Speaker 1: How about when Hobot when we're canoeing whatever we were doing,
- 28:27Speaker 1: you guys were terrible, but you and VICKI made me
- 28:29Speaker 1: laugh during that. They were terrible, and then Jill was like,
- 28:31Speaker 1: you gotta do I'm like, shut up, Jill or Jill.
- 28:34Speaker 1: I mean, Jill really is annoying sometimes but sometimes, I
- 28:38Speaker 1: mean most of the time. But I'm confused if she
- 28:42Speaker 1: doesn't realize when she's getting teased that she's being annoying
- 28:47Speaker 1: because she doesn't stop talking afterwards. She doesn't she does
- 28:50Speaker 1: not like we we did not stop telling her like
- 28:54Speaker 1: the first few days like Jill enough enough, like stop talking.
- 28:58Speaker 1: And then there's that one where she said she just
- 29:00Speaker 1: wasn't gonna talk and then we're like, okay, Jilly, you
- 29:03Speaker 1: can talk again. Um. Then they talk about what they
- 29:10Speaker 1: will take away from the trip. Dranda says she's learned
- 29:13Speaker 1: and loved and then you guys do play that game,
- 29:17Speaker 1: which I have to be honest, this was my least
- 29:20Speaker 1: favorite episode of Girls Trip. Yeah. I think towards the end,
- 29:24Speaker 1: we were just so exhausted with the f up. I
- 29:27Speaker 1: didn't have it really drugged. I was like, you know
- 29:30Speaker 1: what this is going down there with Dubai today? Oh no,
- 29:33Speaker 1: I just kidding. I enjoyed watching it, But was it
- 29:38Speaker 1: the like drama filled No, it wasn't. But it was
- 29:43Speaker 1: nice because every other time was so good. Yeah, and
- 29:47Speaker 1: then this one it was a nice little button up
- 29:49Speaker 1: to what I wish they would have shown and they didn't,
- 29:52Speaker 1: is we were all getting ready to go home the
- 29:55Speaker 1: last day and it was early in the morning and
- 29:59Speaker 1: I don't I mean, you saw everybody hugging me and
- 30:01Speaker 1: Vicky were like, we're out of here, We're in the car,
- 30:02Speaker 1: We're waiting and going on so we had to do
- 30:05Speaker 1: like this final walk and um, we had to do
- 30:08Speaker 1: it all together whatever, and everybody's ready, and then it
- 30:11Speaker 1: starts raining outside. Eva sitting in a chair outside and
- 30:17Speaker 1: we were this close to leaving, and all of a sudden,
- 30:20Speaker 1: Dorenda pushes the button on the automatic um awning, and
- 30:24Speaker 1: when she did it, a sheet of water poured on
- 30:27Speaker 1: Eva's head. Why didn't they show that? They must not
- 30:30Speaker 1: have had cameras on her. They must not have, because
- 30:33Speaker 1: that's that's gold. When that thing happens, that's funny, and
- 30:37Speaker 1: we're like, oh my god. She was like screw it,
- 30:42Speaker 1: like she just went oh I was she even trying
- 30:45Speaker 1: to go in the bathroom drenched. So then you see
- 30:50Speaker 1: us like, oh, the the picture like they were all
- 30:52Speaker 1: we were all lined up. I don't know why Vicky
- 30:53Speaker 1: and I weren't in that final picture because we have
- 30:55Speaker 1: been waiting and waiting. Eva had to go upstairs like
- 30:58Speaker 1: totally re get ready, and we had to wait another
- 31:00Speaker 1: hour before we could leave. No, I think obviously I've
- 31:05Speaker 1: been seeing that when I did my institution A. Everybody's like,
- 31:09Speaker 1: we loved Girls Trip season two even more than one.
- 31:12Speaker 1: We're obsessed. We love it so obviously it was an
- 31:15Speaker 1: excellent show. I think, I just I think for me,
- 31:18Speaker 1: I don't want to hear how much people don't want
- 31:21Speaker 1: to have drama. Either don't have drama or have it,
- 31:24Speaker 1: but don't talk about how you don't want it. That
- 31:26Speaker 1: bugs me. Oh but that's been going on for years,
- 31:29Speaker 1: I know. But it's a zipit like here seven days,
- 31:33Speaker 1: let's have some drama to nay, I mean, like they
- 31:35Speaker 1: go to um, I'm just helping up my party that
- 31:38Speaker 1: we don't have any drama. Oh why would at my event?
- 31:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna do this from now on. I'm just helping
- 31:45Speaker 1: up my party I'm having for you know whatever, that
- 31:48Speaker 1: we have a lot of drama. And then also why
- 31:51Speaker 1: we're on girls trip and Vicky you're blocked, I know,
- 31:55Speaker 1: but I saw on Steve Lodged. I didn't see it,
- 31:58Speaker 1: but somebody that all this may forward it to me
- 32:01Speaker 1: that he was taking a sip of beer and the
- 32:04Speaker 1: beer's name was Vicky, and he took a sip of
- 32:07Speaker 1: it and he went and then he goes taste bitter.
- 32:13Speaker 1: And you know what, Vicky and I don't see eye
- 32:19Speaker 1: to eye and we're not pals, but that right there
- 32:22Speaker 1: pissed me off. I almost sent him a d M
- 32:25Speaker 1: like uncalled for, just uncalled for, don't kick rocks. You're
- 32:29Speaker 1: so happy in your new relationship, why are you still
- 32:32Speaker 1: talking about her? And granted, why am I still talking
- 32:35Speaker 1: about Real housewives? Because I'm getting paid, but you know
- 32:37Speaker 1: what you're not. You're not getting paid Steve Lodge to
- 32:40Speaker 1: post that asshole thing. And if I was his fiancee
- 32:43Speaker 1: or wife or whatever she is, I'd be pissed, like,
- 32:46Speaker 1: why are you still talking talking about her? Yeah? Maybe
- 32:49Speaker 1: it was because he was mentioned in the last episode
- 32:53Speaker 1: of Ultimate Girl's Trip, but then that means he's watching, yeah,
- 32:56Speaker 1: which is which is even weird even yeah, I mean
- 32:59Speaker 1: so weird. Um, but it ends really nice when Pedra
- 33:04Speaker 1: gives everybody a signed copy of the Bible. She invited
- 33:07Speaker 1: Bishop Walker to come and you guys all agree, and
- 33:10Speaker 1: everybody's emotional and happy, and there is that moment and
- 33:14Speaker 1: ending with Grenda eating her pizza was heaven. I mean,
- 33:19Speaker 1: that was the best moment. That just made me just
- 33:22Speaker 1: felt so good about myself that she was eating pizza
- 33:25Speaker 1: in her in her own bed, and then Marco coming
- 33:28Speaker 1: on to give like the final confessional and He's like,
- 33:31Speaker 1: I kind of like that, and I kind of wish
- 33:33Speaker 1: we would have heard more about Marco, Like, you know,
- 33:35Speaker 1: I'm a married man and I live in you know. Yeah,
- 33:38Speaker 1: we were in all of his stats from the beginning.
- 33:41Speaker 1: But I love that he had to throw in. I mean,
- 33:44Speaker 1: Brandy said she was going to pay for it, but
- 33:47Speaker 1: she did. She did, she told him because what you know,
- 33:50Speaker 1: she did it from that she ripped a bunch of
- 33:52Speaker 1: buttons off his shirt. I know they showed that. Did
- 33:54Speaker 1: they show that? I wasn't sure. You can actually see it. Yeah,
- 33:57Speaker 1: you can see the buttons. So he's like, you know,
- 33:58Speaker 1: I need to get it fixed. Okay, we have to
- 34:00Speaker 1: blow through fan thoughts really quick. I'll just answer and
- 34:03Speaker 1: just a couple of seconds. Did Jill's banana bread actually
- 34:07Speaker 1: tastes good? I don't even remember tasting it, But I
- 34:09Speaker 1: love that she said it was such a hit last
- 34:11Speaker 1: night that yesterday that I gotta make it again. She
- 34:13Speaker 1: looked like she was on Troop Beverly Hills and that
- 34:16Speaker 1: when she was in Ellington it's out better or whatever. Um,
- 34:20Speaker 1: I'm sad it's over. This is the best season. Um.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Dorenda needs to never offer to host again if she's
- 34:26Speaker 1: going to be rude to her guests and pout. She
- 34:29Speaker 1: doesn't like I personally don't love hosting, so I wouldn't
- 34:34Speaker 1: probably do something like that. Um, she didn't seem to
- 34:39Speaker 1: love it. She didn't thrive it like where some people
- 34:41Speaker 1: really thrive at hosting. Yeah. Yeah, I don't thrive aout hosting.
- 34:44Speaker 1: But you had girls at your beach house. I it
- 34:51Speaker 1: wasn't necessarily a choice. Okay, does I'm gonna leave it
- 34:56Speaker 1: at that. I wanted to have two or three girls. Oh,
- 35:01Speaker 1: I see what you're saying. And they were like, that's
- 35:03Speaker 1: not an option for you. But you get what I'm saying.
- 35:06Speaker 1: I wouldn't have. I'm not a person that has a
- 35:09Speaker 1: ton I would rather if I'm going to host something big,
- 35:12Speaker 1: like we're all going to this hotel or we're all
- 35:14Speaker 1: going to this house that I don't own. I'm like
- 35:16Speaker 1: that too, because I'm not a good cook. I'm not
- 35:19Speaker 1: a good like. I don't think of little gift baskets.
- 35:22Speaker 1: It's not who I am. Um. I like Tamar and
- 35:27Speaker 1: Phaedra much more than I did before. I'm hearing that
- 35:30Speaker 1: a lot. Really, yes, because you were like you were
- 35:34Speaker 1: just you it was just me. Yeah, um, all right,
- 35:37Speaker 1: let's take a little break. We'll come back and discuss
- 35:39Speaker 1: Real Housewives, Beverly Hills. We are back to talk a
- 35:52Speaker 1: little Beverly Hills. Normally I like to watch Beverly Hills
- 35:55Speaker 1: for a second time because I don't. It's the scrutiny
- 36:00Speaker 1: us so much for me every comment that I make,
- 36:02Speaker 1: but I didn't. So it always takes me two times
- 36:06Speaker 1: of watching anything, two times, you know, looking at a
- 36:10Speaker 1: house to get details. Like I'm just I take it
- 36:13Speaker 1: in the first time and then second time, I'm like, Okay,
- 36:16Speaker 1: then I can form opinions. But that's how I am.
- 36:19Speaker 1: But we're going to do our best, I will say.
- 36:21Speaker 1: The standout favorite funny moment was watching Jamie Lee Curtis
- 36:29Speaker 1: pull out a leash a license plate. What is the
- 36:33Speaker 1: thing that goes around a license plate? The license plate holder? Win? Chime,
- 36:40Speaker 1: ch oh? Does that thermal keep it? No? No, the
- 36:48Speaker 1: thermal does not keep it hot or cold? Like, what
- 36:51Speaker 1: what are you doing? Was she just starstruck? I think
- 36:54Speaker 1: she was, like I think everybody else was checked out,
- 36:59Speaker 1: so she was doing the most but the most, Like
- 37:02Speaker 1: who calls the license plate frame? Chic her? Cup chic.
- 37:06Speaker 1: It was so and then they panned to Kyle's confessional
- 37:09Speaker 1: where she was like, Jamie Lee Curtis could have pulled
- 37:12Speaker 1: out a dirty tissue, I know, but Jamie Lee Curtis
- 37:18Speaker 1: was really lovely. But you can tell she came on
- 37:20Speaker 1: the show and she definitely had an initiative and that
- 37:23Speaker 1: was to show her charity what she did. But then
- 37:27Speaker 1: it ended up becoming a really funny part of the show.
- 37:29Speaker 1: But all that was really cool. Sorry, I don't mean
- 37:32Speaker 1: to cut you off. That was really cool that she
- 37:34Speaker 1: actually came on because I don't know too many you know,
- 37:37Speaker 1: stars at her level that would be like, yeah, I'll
- 37:39Speaker 1: go on a reality show. But remember she did Halloween
- 37:42Speaker 1: with Kyle, so there. Yeah, no, I know that. Yeah,
- 37:44Speaker 1: I know that she was smart to do that because
- 37:48Speaker 1: she made twenty five thousand from Kyle and twenty five
- 37:51Speaker 1: thousand from Diana for I noticed nobody I would have
- 37:57Speaker 1: offered to if I was in that group. I'm surprise
- 38:00Speaker 1: nobody else that I actually I really didn't say anything
- 38:05Speaker 1: me too or not thousand, but just been like five
- 38:08Speaker 1: thousand or you know whatever, thousand whatever, you know. I was.
- 38:12Speaker 1: I was a little shocked nobody else offered up some money,
- 38:14Speaker 1: but I think it's because of the history from before
- 38:17Speaker 1: where people get called out now and they don't actually
- 38:20Speaker 1: pay it. Well, if you're going to offer it, you
- 38:21Speaker 1: should pay it. But by the way, like you have
- 38:23Speaker 1: a famous dad and he wouldn't even go on the show.
- 38:26Speaker 1: So no, the we had to beg for a photo
- 38:30Speaker 1: of him and one phone call there is That's what
- 38:34Speaker 1: I'm saying when I say I know they're friends, but
- 38:36Speaker 1: to have Jamie Lee Curtis on the show like most
- 38:39Speaker 1: stars won't and plus a lot of people are in
- 38:41Speaker 1: contracts where they can't, well, I wish that was my
- 38:45Speaker 1: dad's excuse. No, but he did sing us our theme song. Camera.
- 38:48Speaker 1: He did, and we loved it. You know, you know
- 38:51Speaker 1: he called me camera. Okay. Then Diana tells dere that
- 38:57Speaker 1: she has repulsed by Sutton and went home from their
- 39:00Speaker 1: lunch together and scrubbed herself. Diana says, Sutton offends her space. Okay,
- 39:06Speaker 1: I don't. I'm still a defense with Diana. I'm like,
- 39:10Speaker 1: I don't know if she's a great housewife or she's
- 39:13Speaker 1: just not like the thing. She says, like they're kind
- 39:18Speaker 1: of mean. Um, I think The hard part is every
- 39:23Speaker 1: other housewife needs it in some capacity, regardless if it's
- 39:28Speaker 1: to promote their business, make more money. Have always craped
- 39:32Speaker 1: this version of fame there is Uh. I think Diana
- 39:38Speaker 1: has so much money, she's a little bit like clouded
- 39:42Speaker 1: by Yeah, she literal requirements as a housewife. She lives
- 39:47Speaker 1: in a different universe than the rest of us. Yeah,
- 39:49Speaker 1: so I think that. But you know what, that's unfortunate
- 39:52Speaker 1: because I don't care how much money you have. We're
- 39:54Speaker 1: all human beings. We all put our pants on the
- 39:56Speaker 1: same way. Nobody's better than anybody. You can't put value on.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Wasn't this episode that they were showing the setting up
- 40:04Speaker 1: for Christmas? Yes, for the holiday party, and I love
- 40:09Speaker 1: how she keeps talking about how Asher is really laid
- 40:11Speaker 1: back and he's the one that and then he's like,
- 40:13Speaker 1: I just need to make sure there's seven to twelve
- 40:15Speaker 1: trees right here in his red suit. I mean yeah, uh,
- 40:22Speaker 1: And I I will say this and if it is
- 40:26Speaker 1: a tick, I apologize, But I did count for fourteen
- 40:31Speaker 1: licks this episode. How many licks is a tick? To
- 40:35Speaker 1: come a center of how many licks? Um? Yeah, So
- 40:40Speaker 1: that that did happen a lot of licking a lot
- 40:43Speaker 1: of looking a lot, and now that I feel like,
- 40:46Speaker 1: now that they've seen the looking, now they're just it's
- 40:49Speaker 1: now they're even showing the looking and the confessionals. Okay. Um,
- 40:54Speaker 1: But then Crystal talks about her eating just to order
- 41:01Speaker 1: and it's an internal feeling and holidays are triggering for
- 41:04Speaker 1: her since more food is around. She says she has
- 41:06Speaker 1: worked hard to accept how she looks, but is exhausted
- 41:10Speaker 1: by how she hates what she eats every day, and
- 41:12Speaker 1: she's scared she will pass this eating disorder onto her kids. Um.
- 41:17Speaker 1: I once this, I think because last year I didn't
- 41:22Speaker 1: watch fully like I was on and off watching because
- 41:26Speaker 1: I you know, I didn't have this podcast and it
- 41:29Speaker 1: wasn't something I needed to do, like I needed a
- 41:32Speaker 1: little distance. I didn't know all the back story, but
- 41:35Speaker 1: I remember all that happening with Um, Crystal and Sutton,
- 41:41Speaker 1: and Crystal being uncomfortable when Sutton walked in on her.
- 41:45Speaker 1: It all makes sense now because she's not comfortable in
- 41:48Speaker 1: her skin. It's very sad, but it also is very
- 41:52Speaker 1: common and especially very common on on when you're in
- 41:57Speaker 1: the public eye, it's exacerbated. And I do know that
- 42:02Speaker 1: Crystal has always been a person, no matter on girls
- 42:04Speaker 1: trips or whatever it is, she always wants her own room.
- 42:07Speaker 1: And when you start to think about, um, all of
- 42:13Speaker 1: these housewife trips she's ever been on, she's never staying
- 42:16Speaker 1: in a house with everybody else. And it's because these
- 42:20Speaker 1: things are obviously triggering to her. And I think, what
- 42:24Speaker 1: what we're seeing and obviously a lot of people made
- 42:28Speaker 1: big mistakes on things that they said to her. Um,
- 42:33Speaker 1: it's just ignorance on what an eating disorder can be
- 42:38Speaker 1: and how to talk about it. And you can kind
- 42:40Speaker 1: of see her trying to dodge the conversation but then
- 42:42Speaker 1: talk about it. And I think it obviously is very heartbreaking.
- 42:51Speaker 1: And we saw this with with Jackie on New Jersey
- 42:55Speaker 1: and I personally have grown up, you know, struggling with
- 42:59Speaker 1: my own issues, and you know, every every eating disorder
- 43:03Speaker 1: is different, and every eating disorder is you can't put
- 43:09Speaker 1: it on a piece of paper and go, this is
- 43:10Speaker 1: exactly what it is. And I think, you know, a
- 43:14Speaker 1: lot of what we saw on our fan thoughts is
- 43:16Speaker 1: why was it okay for Kyle to talk about her
- 43:20Speaker 1: past issues, but it wasn't okay for Sutton to talk
- 43:25Speaker 1: about her miscarriages with Diana. And I don't think it's
- 43:29Speaker 1: wrong that Sutton spoke about her miscarriages with Diana. I
- 43:34Speaker 1: think it was her timing, which was, yeah, which was
- 43:38Speaker 1: right after she accused Diana of not really needing to
- 43:42Speaker 1: be on bed rest, right like after you step it
- 43:45Speaker 1: just yeah, it just wasn't the right time at all.
- 43:48Speaker 1: And it's the way that I say, like I'm learning Sutton,
- 43:52Speaker 1: like she's I don't think she purposely is trying to
- 43:55Speaker 1: be rude or I think she's a little bit awkward
- 43:58Speaker 1: a little bit that makes sense. Well, did you see
- 44:01Speaker 1: the aftershow clip that we got on the group chat,
- 44:03Speaker 1: But it's Garcella and Sutton, and Sutton's like, I'm just
- 44:09Speaker 1: you know, I'm gonna quit apologizing so often. And Garcela
- 44:12Speaker 1: goes good, because you're really bad at it. She's like,
- 44:16Speaker 1: you go on and on and then you end up
- 44:19Speaker 1: stepping in it. Yeah, So I think sometimes she's just
- 44:24Speaker 1: like the social cues are acent there. But you know,
- 44:28Speaker 1: I think also if you're if you're opening up on
- 44:32Speaker 1: a public platform, then you know people are going to
- 44:35Speaker 1: ask you more questions. So it's hard. Um, but I
- 44:41Speaker 1: my heart goes out to Crystal, and I think that
- 44:44Speaker 1: being on a show where you it can also be
- 44:48Speaker 1: really difficult and trying to be authentic, and then especially
- 44:52Speaker 1: when you're around a bunch of people who are sharing
- 44:57Speaker 1: much lighter type things and then much you know. Yeah,
- 45:00Speaker 1: but I feel like if you're open enough to share
- 45:04Speaker 1: it on a reality show, that you're at the point
- 45:06Speaker 1: where you're ready to get help. Because a lot of
- 45:10Speaker 1: people women will do it and they don't ever talk
- 45:14Speaker 1: about it ever, like they don't want anybody to know.
- 45:16Speaker 1: Then they're there. They feel just fine or ashamed whatever,
- 45:20Speaker 1: they don't want to tell anybody. But now that she's
- 45:21Speaker 1: actually talking about it, I feel like that's going to
- 45:24Speaker 1: be her first step to getting better. And I mean,
- 45:27Speaker 1: I think this is a good place for us to
- 45:29Speaker 1: be able to talk a little bit about eating disorders.
- 45:32Speaker 1: I mean, there's multiple things that could be used in
- 45:35Speaker 1: this episode as a learning opportunity. For example, you know, yes,
- 45:40Speaker 1: when Kyle was talking about it with her, there you
- 45:44Speaker 1: could tell that she's digging, but she's digging out of curiosity,
- 45:47Speaker 1: but it's still you can tell that Crystal starts to
- 45:50Speaker 1: pull back. So if you have that feeling to stop,
- 45:52Speaker 1: then you have garcel say, you look skinny, and then
- 45:56Speaker 1: you see Crystals start to get nervous about it, and
- 46:00Speaker 1: then Garcela says, we'll just say thank you. That's also
- 46:04Speaker 1: very trigger and you have people like Erica. What the
- 46:10Speaker 1: F was she thinking? I think that what Erica said
- 46:16Speaker 1: was very ignorant. Yeah, um, but also could possibly show
- 46:23Speaker 1: her own issues that she not not not I'm not
- 46:27Speaker 1: saying she has that, but just her unawareness of what
- 46:31Speaker 1: laxatives mean if and what they can do to your
- 46:34Speaker 1: body too. But if you are struggling with an eating disorder,
- 46:38Speaker 1: but I I don't know, I mean that comment and
- 46:41Speaker 1: then coming back and saying, you know you can't have
- 46:44Speaker 1: a chicken finger, there's some eating disorder. She what is
- 46:48Speaker 1: going on with her? Like, I mean, I know what's
- 46:50Speaker 1: going on with her, but what are you doing? I
- 46:53Speaker 1: also think, and this is Erica is one of my
- 46:57Speaker 1: friends who I know if I was put in jail tomorrow,
- 47:00Speaker 1: she'd be the first one. They're doing everything, you know,
- 47:03Speaker 1: selling her last penny to get me out. But I
- 47:06Speaker 1: think that there's a sensitivity thing that like she I
- 47:13Speaker 1: think she was trying to make light of it. She's
- 47:15Speaker 1: never been the most sensitive her yeah, but I think
- 47:17Speaker 1: she was trying to make light of the issue and
- 47:20Speaker 1: it's not an issue to make line up. I have
- 47:22Speaker 1: a question for you, yea, how much is a penny worth? Old?
- 47:26Speaker 1: What was that in the podcast? I mean you just
- 47:28Speaker 1: said she'd sell her last penny. I was thinking last
- 47:32Speaker 1: shoe whatever, Sorry, she would sell hurt like last whatever
- 47:37Speaker 1: it is. I it was a mistake all around. And
- 47:42Speaker 1: I even if I even asked Cristall, I said, do
- 47:46Speaker 1: you think that Erica was being malicious or do you
- 47:49Speaker 1: think and she goes no, I think it truly was
- 47:54Speaker 1: some people don't know how to handle. I think she
- 47:56Speaker 1: was trying to be funny, like shut it out, don't
- 47:58Speaker 1: throw it up, like just like really like that's so
- 48:02Speaker 1: insensitive and it's so wrong. And it can also be
- 48:05Speaker 1: you've never had any sort of issue in that way,
- 48:09Speaker 1: so you don't know that that. But I'm not justifying it,
- 48:12Speaker 1: but it's either. But I think we have to remember
- 48:15Speaker 1: on Beverly Hills, there's a lot going on there when
- 48:19Speaker 1: it comes to you know, body issues, physical like the
- 48:23Speaker 1: fact they were the first group that you know of
- 48:27Speaker 1: them get glamored every single time they're ever shown, every podcast,
- 48:33Speaker 1: every appearance. There's a certain amount of pressure across the board.
- 48:36Speaker 1: On most housewive shows, you're gonna have girls that extremely strict,
- 48:43Speaker 1: unhealthy diets. I have to have glance like it. All
- 48:48Speaker 1: your insecurities come out when you're on national TV and
- 48:51Speaker 1: everybody out there as views want to point about to you.
- 48:54Speaker 1: So it really puts you in a very toxic place
- 48:57Speaker 1: in your mind if you're not strong. I really as
- 49:00Speaker 1: my first season on Housewives, I had to be very
- 49:04Speaker 1: aware that I was taking care of myself so that
- 49:08Speaker 1: my past issues wouldn't be triggered by being on a
- 49:12Speaker 1: television show. Because when I was stressed, I would see
- 49:16Speaker 1: that they would come back, and so I need to
- 49:18Speaker 1: be I needed to be held accountable then more than ever,
- 49:24Speaker 1: because being on a public platform and having everybody's judgments
- 49:29Speaker 1: really weighs on you. And it's about evolving and having
- 49:32Speaker 1: therapy and having conversations. So I think, you know, we're
- 49:35Speaker 1: going to see more of that, and I fear that
- 49:37Speaker 1: this episode, once we start next week, is going to
- 49:40Speaker 1: get even worse for Erica. Really yeah, because the party's
- 49:44Speaker 1: not over. We're at the beginning of the party. Oh Erica. Okay,
- 49:48Speaker 1: So Erica says it. Tom calls her he's either present
- 49:52Speaker 1: or doesn't know who she is. But then she says,
- 49:56Speaker 1: if they get a divorce right now, she'd have to
- 49:59Speaker 1: pay him out aremony. Oh my god. But we get
- 50:01Speaker 1: to see Kathy Hilton, which is great, and she she
- 50:05Speaker 1: had a great line about getting a hemorrhoid out of
- 50:08Speaker 1: a tush. And then the Kathy and Kyle scene. I
- 50:12Speaker 1: know we're kind of jumping all around, guys, but we're passionate.
- 50:15Speaker 1: We can't help ours. But the potato thing was really funny. Um,
- 50:21Speaker 1: and I need to know, Tam, do you like caviar? No? No,
- 50:25Speaker 1: me neither. And why was Kathy wearing sunglasses inside of
- 50:29Speaker 1: her house? She wants look really cool, but she had
- 50:33Speaker 1: them on inside of her house and then took them
- 50:35Speaker 1: off outside. I used, or do you think that we're
- 50:41Speaker 1: gonna see a lot more Kathy or she just gonna
- 50:42Speaker 1: pop in it out every once in a while. I
- 50:44Speaker 1: think that Asmin is still quite far away. This is
- 50:48Speaker 1: a long season. Then they go to the Christmas party
- 50:52Speaker 1: and we've kind of already we've already talked about all that,
- 50:55Speaker 1: and then so now we'll go to the fan thoughts.
- 50:58Speaker 1: Um Sutton just needs to take responsibility for her words, statements,
- 51:02Speaker 1: and actions. I actually thought that her apology this was
- 51:07Speaker 1: her best apology yet. I do too, and I think
- 51:11Speaker 1: that Diana took up very well and I was very
- 51:13Speaker 1: happy to see like no snarky comments back, and I'm
- 51:17Speaker 1: hoping that they can move on. I I am too,
- 51:20Speaker 1: because I'm kind of over that same thing back because
- 51:24Speaker 1: they're the two world's worst communicators with one another. Um.
- 51:29Speaker 1: But the next day a lot of like, actually, you're
- 51:32Speaker 1: right here a lot alike, that's why. And they're setting
- 51:35Speaker 1: their ways and they will not every both have more
- 51:39Speaker 1: money than they need, and do they want to give
- 51:41Speaker 1: some to us? Um? What the And then the next
- 51:46Speaker 1: question is or comment, what the actual f did Erica
- 51:50Speaker 1: say to Crystal? That entire scene was an absolute ship show.
- 51:55Speaker 1: It was a cringe. I mean, I can imagine the
- 51:58Speaker 1: hate that Eric is getting right now. And I mean,
- 52:01Speaker 1: according to their social media's, it looks like they're all together.
- 52:08Speaker 1: If you're if you look at uh uh, Diana, Erica,
- 52:15Speaker 1: and Renna, they're all showing the same background and it's
- 52:18Speaker 1: not Los Angeles, So I think they're all those three
- 52:22Speaker 1: are together right now? Is my guests and then Diana
- 52:26Speaker 1: posted a photo of Erica and Renna. So there's I
- 52:31Speaker 1: think they're on a vacation. That's my my slew thing.
- 52:35Speaker 1: Oh interesting, Um, because by the posts, I'm gonna have
- 52:40Speaker 1: to go to look. Well, there's a lot of comments
- 52:43Speaker 1: about Erica. The chicken finger comment didn't go over well.
- 52:47Speaker 1: Felt bad for Crystal. Um, I think everybody's agreeing. And
- 52:53Speaker 1: then everyone's conversations are hard to follow the season. Conversations
- 52:57Speaker 1: are hard to follow the season. I wish they would
- 53:00Speaker 1: show more family scenes. No, you don't know. We won't
- 53:02Speaker 1: see more family scenes, and their conversations are not hard
- 53:05Speaker 1: to follow. Sorry it. Let's be clear. Do you watch
- 53:07Speaker 1: Real Housewives for happiness? Go to the Hallmark channel. Yeah,
- 53:11Speaker 1: And I'm not going to get parent advice or anything
- 53:14Speaker 1: like that from a housewife. Sorry. I'm not saying none
- 53:16Speaker 1: of them are bad parents, but it's not why you
- 53:17Speaker 1: watch housewife You're not. You're watching it for an escape
- 53:20Speaker 1: for your own life and to make you feel better
- 53:22Speaker 1: about yourself. Right, Like that's really clear? Um. Next one
- 53:27Speaker 1: is why would Kyle even think of sitting Sutton and
- 53:32Speaker 1: Diana together. We don't even need to answer that, obviously.
- 53:36Speaker 1: You know what well when she was doing doing the
- 53:38Speaker 1: little place cards whatever, and then when she said like
- 53:41Speaker 1: Diana said, and I went, oh, wait, are you doing
- 53:43Speaker 1: that on purpose? Remember who Sutton sat next to a
- 53:47Speaker 1: Kyle's house back during the whole situation with me right
- 53:54Speaker 1: next to me. We were already having issues in New York.
- 53:56Speaker 1: And then I looked down at the place setting and
- 53:58Speaker 1: I'm right next and got no Sutton already okay, okay, okay, yeah,
- 54:03Speaker 1: um no, Denuis and I are still fine at that point.
- 54:06Speaker 1: And then give Sharie a diamond, yes please, I agree
- 54:12Speaker 1: with this fand thought. I think Shari is really likable.
- 54:15Speaker 1: I think she's funny. She's well spoken for. She does
- 54:18Speaker 1: exactly what to say, four spoken, Sorry, she's well spoken.
- 54:25Speaker 1: She I'm not well spoken for. Well spoken for is
- 54:29Speaker 1: like in the old days when you're like, she's spoken for,
- 54:33Speaker 1: well spoken, she's well spoken, and she's got great one liners.
- 54:37Speaker 1: And she's funny. She's a diamond. She needs a diamond.
- 54:40Speaker 1: We need that energy. Um. Yeah, So that's that's where
- 54:44Speaker 1: we are. And so let's take a little break. We'll
- 54:46Speaker 1: come back and talk about Atlanta. All right, So we're
- 55:00Speaker 1: let's talk a little bit about Atlanta. Uh starts off
- 55:05Speaker 1: with Marlowe talks about how she needs a break from
- 55:07Speaker 1: her nephews and it's not ashamed of it. She opens
- 55:10Speaker 1: up about how she took care of her little sister
- 55:11Speaker 1: in the past to get her out of foster care,
- 55:15Speaker 1: so this is not the first time she's taken on responsibility.
- 55:18Speaker 1: But didn't she also say like it was only for
- 55:20Speaker 1: a hot minute. I couldn't deal with you. Yeah, I mean,
- 55:22Speaker 1: I think, what the hell this is? This was a
- 55:26Speaker 1: hard one for me because if I commit to something,
- 55:30Speaker 1: especially a human human children that are already going through
- 55:34Speaker 1: a bad time. I mean, it takes a very nice
- 55:37Speaker 1: person to take on somebody else's kids, like somebody with
- 55:42Speaker 1: a very big heart. So I appreciate that about her,
- 55:46Speaker 1: but you there, you can't just throw away, right. But also,
- 55:50Speaker 1: well behaved kids are not well behaved kids. If you
- 55:53Speaker 1: just tell them to do something and you don't follow
- 55:55Speaker 1: up and check to make sure that it's done, they're
- 55:57Speaker 1: not doing it. And that's what I was thinking. I'm like,
- 55:59Speaker 1: you know, parenting is hard, Like if their a room
- 56:03Speaker 1: looks like they've been hoarding for a year, Um, that's
- 56:06Speaker 1: on you too, because you've allowed it, yeah, walking like
- 56:09Speaker 1: my son. I will be like, did you brush your teeth?
- 56:11Speaker 1: And he's like m huh, And I'm like, let me
- 56:15Speaker 1: smell your breath, and I'm like, I see scuzz on
- 56:18Speaker 1: your teeth, go brush them. Like but if I would
- 56:21Speaker 1: have just taken his word for it, and then all
- 56:22Speaker 1: of a sudden he has a bunch of cavities. Yeah,
- 56:27Speaker 1: Like well that's called lazy parenting. And I think that,
- 56:29Speaker 1: you know, once in a while, like sometimes when things
- 56:31Speaker 1: get they slide, but with these kids, especially because they've
- 56:36Speaker 1: gone through so much, she's got to be on them. Yeah.
- 56:40Speaker 1: So then they go on the trip. There's funny parts
- 56:42Speaker 1: of course, where you know, Marlowe goes over the top
- 56:46Speaker 1: and like gets them all. I don't even know what
- 56:49Speaker 1: they are, Okay, so I think they were what was
- 56:52Speaker 1: the car? Is it a rolls Royce that candy was in?
- 56:54Speaker 1: And then they give them food. They're like not eating.
- 56:56Speaker 1: Kenny's Like no, they out of here, get out, get out,
- 57:01Speaker 1: So they get out, they eat, they go too. I
- 57:04Speaker 1: thought they were going on a camping trip. They go
- 57:07Speaker 1: to the such a nice house, like beautiful, and they
- 57:13Speaker 1: do like the candle competence, not the candle competition. But
- 57:16Speaker 1: the candle thing where they very creative was that, um,
- 57:20Speaker 1: where did she get those candles with those sayings on them?
- 57:23Speaker 1: I don't know. She probably had a mate, I would imagine,
- 57:25Speaker 1: but that takes a lot of a lot of thought.
- 57:28Speaker 1: Are you guys on girls trip just scribbled it down
- 57:31Speaker 1: on a happened thanks that you and I are not
- 57:34Speaker 1: good at, like the giftbacks, Like no, yeah, so they
- 57:39Speaker 1: do that, they get their own rooms. Then we knew
- 57:42Speaker 1: this was going to happen because Kenya loves to make
- 57:45Speaker 1: an entrance. She shows up to the dinner even I
- 57:51Speaker 1: was actually, I mean, you think I know this by now,
- 57:53Speaker 1: but I was shocked to see her. I thought she
- 57:56Speaker 1: was like a hard pass. No I'm not going because
- 57:58Speaker 1: she seems like she's so strong in her words, like
- 58:00Speaker 1: and she doesn't go back on them. But I mean,
- 58:02Speaker 1: I was happy to say here. But the part that
- 58:05Speaker 1: I found a little bit odd was the timing. Like
- 58:10Speaker 1: Kenya is like kind of going at it with Marlowe.
- 58:14Speaker 1: Everybody's awkward, and then Snia just like drops that she's
- 58:18Speaker 1: taking all of them on a couple's trip to Jamaica.
- 58:21Speaker 1: But like the timing was so I don't know if
- 58:25Speaker 1: like the restaurant was about to kick them out, and
- 58:28Speaker 1: I get Reherry. I did like how they dropped the
- 58:32Speaker 1: Sanya dropped the we're all going into make up, because
- 58:35Speaker 1: you know, it's like whenever there's a cast event, traveling
- 58:39Speaker 1: whatever it's sometimes it comes off a little awkward, right,
- 58:44Speaker 1: But that was it seemed really authentic. But this is
- 58:47Speaker 1: where it's this. You know, this franchise, Beverly Hills. Most
- 58:52Speaker 1: of those women are single, correct or half at least,
- 58:57Speaker 1: So when you have a couple's trip, it's tricky when
- 59:00Speaker 1: the majority of the cast is single. Even so did
- 59:03Speaker 1: she say it was a couple's trip. Yeah, she's had
- 59:05Speaker 1: a couple's trip to another I don't want another couple's trip.
- 59:08Speaker 1: We already had one to New York. Yeah, we don't.
- 59:10Speaker 1: I don't want couple's trips. And because Sanya's husband and
- 59:14Speaker 1: Drew's husband want to make sure that they're featured in
- 59:16Speaker 1: every episode, is that what it is? Well, I don't know,
- 59:18Speaker 1: I'm just getting I mean, I have no idea. You're
- 59:21Speaker 1: probably right, probably right, But then can you tells the
- 59:25Speaker 1: ladies that she's staying at another house? And Marlowe tells
- 59:29Speaker 1: Kenya that she can't be there to experience their plans
- 59:33Speaker 1: if she's not staying at the cabin, and that was
- 59:35Speaker 1: nice of her to, you know, just stay, just stay
- 59:38Speaker 1: with us, but Kenya was not having it. Hold on
- 59:43Speaker 1: that thought it was nice of her, well that she said,
- 59:46Speaker 1: why aren't you staying here? Like if they she hated
- 59:49Speaker 1: her so much, it's like, good, go go, But no,
- 59:53Speaker 1: she wants Marlowe, wants this, wants everything to erupt. Oh,
- 59:59Speaker 1: so you think she's doing it for different reasons, Like, yeah,
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: I don't think she's doing it to be nice. I
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: thought she was just trying to be nice, like, well,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: you can't experience it all if you're not with us. Yeah,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: But then they kind of got Kenya a little, you know,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: stumbled up when when Kenny is like, oh, my daughter
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: is gonna be here, and they're like, oh, it's your
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: daughter's here and she's like no, and she's like, well,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: I'll think about it. I'll think about it if I
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: want to stay in that multimillion dollar house with you guys.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: So what do you think do you think she's gonna
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: end up staying there? Yes? Yes, yes, okay um. Then
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Kenya attempts to explain her side of things to Marlow,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: but Marlowe keeps cutting her off, and they all joke
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: that Marlow is acting like Drew when she interrupts, and
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: then Drew. But this is why I like Drew. I
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: know this is there too. Is Drew can laugh at
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: herself in the moment when like she knows she's a
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: met she knows that she's hypocritical, like just but she
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: takes it like she's she doesn't. It doesn't even bother her. No,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: she gets the last candle, I'm like poor Drew, and
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: she thinks the other candles hers, Yeah, I think she
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: thought all of them were hers. Oh my god's dying
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: so good. And then um, Kenya tells Marlow that she
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: is not a friend and doesn't know how to love.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Marlowe talks about how she looks up to Kenya and
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: says they need to at least respect each other if
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: they don't love each other. That was a nice sentiment. However,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: what she said right before it was such a passive aggressive,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: but passive aggressive on Kenya or Marlow. Marlo like Marlow
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: said something like, oh you're too good. You're better spoken
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: than me, You're better than me. You're you know, like that.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: I don't think was like her authentically complimenting Kenya. Well,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I mean that's marlow though, right.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: I mean, how about when Kenya said she's six ft
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: tallways two hundred pounds. About that, I just choked on
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: my water. I'm like, oh, girl, that wasn't cool. No,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: they definitely when when they're going to strike there, there
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: there's no boundaries there. But I did respect Marlowe a
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: little bit more as she talked about her mom and
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: the things that she would say to her as a
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: kid and how she has carried it on with her
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: own children. And I think that she was super honest
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: about that. And they're like, sometimes I'll catch myself saying
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: something or doing something that was just like my mom.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: You know when you go, oh, I sound just like
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: my mom. So you know, you're just programmed like that,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: product of your environment, your upbringing, and even though if
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: you know it's not right, you still kind of do it. Yeah,
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: And then why don't I feel like we saw Manietta
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: at that dinner. I don't think she's there yet. No,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: she rode in the car with Candy and Drew. Oh,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: say how much I paid attention. I was half asleep
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: when I watched. Yeah, yeah, but that's I mean. The
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: fan thoughts, Oh, the fan thoughts are a little brutal.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: First fan thought is Vicky's snoring. It was kind of boring.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Oh they Vicky snoring, It's kind of buoying. Um. I
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: love that the girls are all allowed to bring a
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: plus one to Jamaica. Hold on, did plus one or couples?
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: I don't want to see a plus one or a couple.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: I just want to see them. Yeah, I don't either
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: unless it's UM for tune. Yeah. I mean, there's a
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: couple of the girls that we are invested in and
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: we would love to see them, But I don't want
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: to see husband's there. I really don't. UM love Candy
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: as the voice of reason. Like seeing Kenya and Candy
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: with their kids. That was a cute moment. That was
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: super cute. And isn't Candy always the voice of reason?
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: I think that Candy is just so relatable, even though
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: she's so I saw I was walking to the elevator
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: and um, my girlfriend was with me, John and she goes,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: oh my god, you know her like that? And then
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: everybody turns around and I turned around and it was Candy. Oh,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: Candy is Candy and Todd and Riley. Oh. This next
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: one is Marlowe needs to hand back her peach. She's
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: trying white too hard to beat Kenya. M m, trying
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: way too hard with Kenya. I don't know till I
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: come for her. I don't think she's trying to be Kenya,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: but I think she's just is it Marlo just being
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: marlow I mean she's pretty consistent who she is. Yeah,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: but I think she's just like, give it a break,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: like that's I'm a little bit over their feud. Yeah,
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: but nobody's taken that peach from her. Um. The next
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: one is Real Housewives of Atlanta is beyond boring this season.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: I disagree that. I I disagree. I don't think it's
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: born at all. I like it, UM, which brings us
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: into Real Housewives of as you like to call him, Dallas.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: I know, I I don always have to because on
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: our rundown is r h O D, which is the
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: same as Real Housewives of Dallas, which, even though that
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: no longer as a show, it's still embedded into my memory. Okay, Um,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: this was probably their best episode so far. I agree
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I agree. It was really good and it was so
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: visually beautiful at that party. First, I'm like, oh, could
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: you imagine be out in the middle of the desert sand,
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: what do you like complaining about the sand? No, I
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: don't know. I just felt like it wasn't really that pretty.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: It was just all sand. And then sun goes down
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: and all the string lights. Oh so pretty. See I
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: thought I looked pretty the entire time, but I liked it.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: They start with Caroline and Surgery as parents meet for
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: the first time. To me, that entire scene was extremely awkward.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, that was so awkward, so awkward, beyond
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: it and yeah, beyond like I I can't even go
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: into the level of even the way that Sergio is
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: like grabbing Caroline's hand and they're like trying to I can't.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: All of it was very awkward for me to watch. Um.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Then we get into Caroline. Brooks calls Lisa to tell
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: her that Sarah questioned her parenting. Lisa says Sarah as
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: the queen of unsolicited advice. Brooke questions if Sarah even
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: as a doctor and won't take therapeutic advice from someone
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: who gets her doctorate from a Woman's Empowerment group. Right,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: so she not really a doctor. No, I think she
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: like gotta whatever. I mean, she's like like Scott Disick
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: got to be a lord, right he was right? Or
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: it's like the people that don't go to Harvard hard
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: the people that go to Harvard, but they do that
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: like one little course and then they get to say
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: they're the you know whatever. Granted it's still more than
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: I never got invited j evento little course. But um.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Then Sarah tells Nina that she would not dare tell
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: a mom that she's not a good mom. She then
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: texts the ladies explaining herself that wasn't she wasn't a
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: good mom. It's not what she said. So I feel
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: like there were her words are getting really twisted. I
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: also think like, and this is coming from someone who
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: I know that I can set on my high horse
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: quite often. Take a couple of seats, Sarah, these women
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: don't want your advice. No, you should never give advice
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: to anybody about their parenting. No, and um, what she
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: is saying is is true. And you know, obviously Brooks
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: is upset because and she's just like seeing read but
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: she was it was condescending the same way when she
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: said to I on you know, oh you know I
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: wasn't always as kind as I am now and the
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: kind of person I am now, you know whatever it
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: is like this is this is her m O. But
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: you start to see it come anybody that is that
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: put together and is that like buttoned up. You know,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: there's another side to it, and you start to see
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: it at the end of the day, sad about Nina's
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: dad hospitalized with COVID and it's not improving. That is scary.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: I mean they film this with probably over close to
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: a year ago when COVID was really bad. But but
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: he's better now, he's better. Um, I don't know. I
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: I think also me and hiss Dad aside, I'm having
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: a hard time feeling that like housewife energy with her.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: I feel like she's doing a lot off the scene means,
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: but not in the scene. Yeah, I have. There's a
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: lot of texting side combos like she needs to be
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: as whatever came behind the scenes. Yes, correct, Um, I
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: mean I think I really got really that interesting until
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: the party. True. But also I have a question for you.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: If it was your engagement party and you told everybody
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: to wear white, how would you decipher which one is
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: a wedding dress? Okay, let's talk about that, because I'm like, oh,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: come on, she had eight like a lazing essentially this
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: but white. Yeah yeah, So I'm like, you have everybody
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: in there wearing white, So I didn't really take it
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: as if she was wearing a wedding dress because I've
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: never seen a wedding dress like that. Well, also, if
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: you want to have the complete spotlight, and I get
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: it if like your mother in law wears white to
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: your wedding or your friend wears white to your wedde
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: and nobody's supposed to wear white, but if you give
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: the instructions to wear white, and you gotta know, you
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: gotta know that Chanel is going to come with the
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: most outrageous outfit ever. I thought that was a little
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: bit I was, and plus like Lisa was her dress was,
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: I mean it was. It was also a gown. Like
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: they're all, most of them, I think, other than Sarah
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: and Brooks this episode are pretty done to the nine.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: So it's like that felt a lot of sergyet so
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: involved though he can't. He's like looking over her shoulder
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: at every text message, and she just seems so annoyed
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: with him always even should I have it to this
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: side or to this side? He's like, it's like she's
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: his mother. I was gonna say it, but I'm glad
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: that you did. I mean it kind That's how it
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: kind of into the way she was looking at him
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: like you can't be behind me, just you know, it's
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: like and then she left him at her own wedding,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: like her own engagement party. She's like, just goes, he
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: didn't have a shirt on yet. He was probably getting
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: mine to me. And she's like, didn't you see he
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: had a Yeah, he had a little pack on. That's
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: what the girls wear under their dresses. He is, he
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: wants all the things, went to all the things in
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: a big old whatever, the bag of gold. And then
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: she you know, you do see a softer side of
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: Caroline when she's crying to her interior designer. I said, honestly,
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: I remember that. Um. And then uh Ion says that
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: Brooke reminds her of a hyena since she's pretty on
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: the outside, but her mouth can be dirty. That is
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: a direct quote. I love her, God, I love her.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: I love her relationship with her son. She's really grown
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: on me at first she was too much for me.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: And now I've taken a turn and I she's she's
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: taken a breath and she's she's my favorite. Um but
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: I do like her because she doesn't seem like she's
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: trying as hard anymore, and I feel like she's settled
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: into it. But you can tell at the end of
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: this episode Brooks is drunk like she is and Tam
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: don't act like I didn't just see yawning right now, dude,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: I'm so tired, I can barely keep my eyes open. Well,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: this is our last thing, so why don't you finish
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: the last little part of the recap? The fan thought,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: can we broke from Sarah sit down to talk? Sarah
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: tells her to drop this Caroline and bring the real
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Caroline out. Brooks tells her that they are all waiting
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: to see who she really is. Who do you think
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: she really is? Teddy? It got a little bit almost
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: physical because you heard producers. I'm not speaking out of turn,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: it says producers. Yeah, but why But did you think
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: it was necessary? Ll hey, hey, at that point, I
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: think they were both telling each other to get like,
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: come at me. I dare you okay, and I don't
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: think they met with words because I wanted to see more. Hey,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: don't stop them, they're just getting it's just getting good. No,
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: they were they they were both threatening each other to
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: come to blows. They wanted to push each other to blow. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: well I like to see him get a little closer
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: to blowing and then have a producer jump in the middle.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: Oh you'd you want to see their hands on each
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: other being ripped off? No, not no, just to stand
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: up the chest. It's a little Salt Lake City, a
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: little Headbut maybe I was kidding. I'm joking. Oh okay,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: So onto fan thoughts, they're exhausting to watch, very boring. Far. Yeah,
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Brooks is great TV, but her behavior and social interactions
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: are a bit concerning. Mhm. And this person is with you, Tam.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: They're confused. Why producer going whoa, whoa whoa at the end?
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: Don't interrupt. I didn't. I didn't even see that, fan thought.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: I just felt like it was a little too who
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: wa wa soon. So now we're done, Tam, Is there
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: anything else we wanted to talk about? Just me going
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: to sleep? All right? Well, guys, we did the best
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: that we could we had a lot of episodes to watch.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: I have kids to go swim with, and potentially these
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: are salads with black beans to eat. That's my favorite
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: thing here at this hotel. These are salads black beans. Okay, yeah,
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: all right, well, Tam Teddy, we'll have fun and the
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: Oh see, I wish I could be there with you.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: But you see how it asks. It's fine. I know,
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: I know I'm gonna pull up. I'm gonna oh well,
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: we have to tell you one thing on my uber
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: on my way here, because you all know I'm not
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: a driving type. Uh. The guy picks me up at
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: the horse show with the kids and I sit down.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: He's like, here you Teddy by any chance, and I'm
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: like yeah, I mean you saw it on the Uber.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: But I'm like yeah, and he's like, you know, I
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: was on some Real Housewives episodes myself, and I was like,
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: what's his name? Eric? Eric? Eric? He's good friends with Slade.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: I don't remember any eric Um he said he was on.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: He lives near your area. Really, uh huh? He drives
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: him not one. I ordered an Uber X and he
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: was in a range Rover and I was like, what
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: is here? So I think maybe he saw my name
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: was like, okay, I'll go pick her up because I'm like,
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: do you normally pick up uber xes and your brand
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: new Range Rover? And he goes, I actually just Uber
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: drive to network and I was like m hmm. But
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: then of course he said, I know Tamra lives pictures,
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: not Slade. Slate. Kept thinking he was saying slate and
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: said a slate. So she goes, yeah, I was on
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: the show to know she's talking. He's talking about Slade.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: I don't know who that is. But he's friends with
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: Gina Ko. Yeah, he said it's his best friend. And
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: then he's also friends with Joe. Was that the first? Yeah?
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: She was on that was and Slade? Yeah, did Joe
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: just get married? She did? Yeah, he was there. He
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: was there. Yep. So someone I had to get on
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: Joe's Instagram and see how many eric she follows. Yeah,
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: we have work to do when we get off this call,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: I need to know who this is. Well. I love you,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: tam I love that we will be continuing on the twats. Yeah,
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: rid of me that fast, but also even we're bloggers. Yeah,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: I'm just lowly bloggers. But please send in your thoughts
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: on who you want to cover OC with me because
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: I really want to get somebody good, because I really
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: want to ripped him with a shred. She's not working. Yeah,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: fight him, Okay, fight m
