- 0:45Speaker 3: the Avid Indoorsment. Hello everyone, Hello are you? I'm good.
- 0:49Speaker 3: I just living the life. I don't know. You're living
- 0:54Speaker 3: the life man, they tell me, how are you? I'm
- 0:59Speaker 3: doing well. You already saw it. But I got the
- 1:03Speaker 3: new the New Wolves jersey the other night. That was
- 1:05Speaker 3: really fun. I figured this would be an appropriate episode
- 1:09Speaker 3: to wear it. I don't know why, what do you mean?
- 1:13Speaker 4: Well, there's basketball involved, yes, because they started playing when
- 1:17Speaker 4: they were teens.
- 1:17Speaker 3: I see right, Yes, No, I love It's wonderful. That
- 1:23Speaker 3: is my favorite jersey of all time. I think I
- 1:26Speaker 3: love it too, so much. And the black one with
- 1:29Speaker 3: the green trees is amazing too. We have the best
- 1:32Speaker 3: alternate jerseys in the league. Kind of the regular ones
- 1:35Speaker 3: are not great. Well, the black ones with the trees
- 1:38Speaker 3: are the regular ones now right? Or they do those
- 1:43Speaker 3: gray ones with the neon green. They do the the
- 1:46Speaker 3: blue and the white. It's just those ones. Yeah, don't
- 1:49Speaker 3: do anything for me. But I thought the trees were
- 1:51Speaker 3: normal unis this year. But maybe they're I don't. I
- 1:54Speaker 3: think it's like the alternate, but maybe it doesn't matter.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, I love those a lot. Honestly, if they
- 2:02Speaker 4: just wanted to wear the Prince ones all.
- 2:03Speaker 3: The time, I'd be like, all the time, I may
- 2:06Speaker 3: do it. Let's change the color palette. I don't care.
- 2:09Speaker 3: It's wonderful. I love it. I was hoping that you
- 2:13Speaker 3: would talk to me about that fun gig you did
- 2:16Speaker 3: the other night with some of our friends.
- 2:18Speaker 4: Oh yes, thank you for bringing up, because I already
- 2:21Speaker 4: forgot we sang for Do you know Frasier House in
- 2:25Speaker 4: the in the Twin Cities that big?
- 2:27Speaker 3: It's not s R right it Gret.
- 2:31Speaker 4: Yes they do, yes, yes, Uh they work with adults.
- 2:35Speaker 3: I guess. I don't know if it's only adults.
- 2:37Speaker 4: They work with the people who have a developmental disability
- 2:40Speaker 4: stuff going on of sort of it seems like varying capacities.
- 2:45Speaker 3: I think that Adam's wife, Erica used to work there.
- 2:49Speaker 4: Yes, that makes a ton of sense. That makes a
- 2:52Speaker 4: ton of sense. But they have it's like this huge
- 2:54Speaker 4: organization now they have like homes for people to live,
- 2:57Speaker 4: they help with like occupational stuff, They helped with kiddos.
- 3:01Speaker 4: It seems like all the way.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Up to adults. Uh.
- 3:04Speaker 4: And I honestly, I was not a part of booking
- 3:07Speaker 4: this gig, so I had no idea And we were
- 3:09Speaker 4: part of their big gala which was super fun, just
- 3:13Speaker 4: a very small part of it. But it was this
- 3:16Speaker 4: big to do at the Depot downtown, which was really fun,
- 3:19Speaker 4: cool swanky event. They did like a what like poodle
- 3:27Speaker 4: skirts and all that stuff, which is why they wanted
- 3:30Speaker 4: a barber shop. E. We're not really a group, but
- 3:34Speaker 4: that's where we were. Our buddy Dan Ristrom came out
- 3:39Speaker 4: and sang with us, which.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Was fun and he's been on the pod even yep.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Because Steele was had to be somewhere else that night.
- 3:45Speaker 4: So it was super fun. Man, we did it was
- 3:47Speaker 4: real easy. The part that was tough about it is
- 3:50Speaker 4: like inside of rockapella stuff, Like we sang off mic
- 3:53Speaker 4: in a room full of a ton of people and
- 3:56Speaker 4: kind of just walk around. Luckily that crew of people
- 3:59Speaker 4: is super okay with a weird.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Game, so it was we had a nice time, you know,
- 4:04Speaker 3: like but that is a tough look. Oh yeah, people,
- 4:08Speaker 3: if you're ever gonna like throw a party, just know
- 4:12Speaker 3: that if you get an a cappella group to go
- 4:14Speaker 3: and sing to tables, they're hating their lives. Yeah, most
- 4:18Speaker 3: more often than.
- 4:19Speaker 4: And you know, a couple times it was fun. We
- 4:22Speaker 4: were singing Cherry Baby, and there happened to be a
- 4:26Speaker 4: lady named Cherry right there, So.
- 4:27Speaker 3: That was fun.
- 4:28Speaker 4: Love that, but yeah, it's just generally and it really
- 4:32Speaker 4: hard for a base to sing.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Yeah, or if you have a beat boxer too, I know,
- 4:38Speaker 3: brass and beat boxers hate that. Yeah.
- 4:40Speaker 4: Yeah, so you know, it wasn't perfect, but I don't know,
- 4:44Speaker 4: it was just fun. We were able to lean into
- 4:46Speaker 4: it and just have a nice time and we got guessie, did.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Dan say anything about it? He hasn't done the acapella
- 4:52Speaker 3: thing and forever, Yeah, he was.
- 4:55Speaker 4: It's it's such an interesting gig too, because all those
- 4:57Speaker 4: people sing acapella, but not a lot, you know what
- 5:00Speaker 4: I mean, And I don't either anymore. But like I
- 5:04Speaker 4: was like, yeah, it's pretty standard acapella gig. They're all
- 5:06Speaker 4: kind of weird, you know, but it was just so fun. Yeah,
- 5:10Speaker 4: Dan was like I haven't saying this kind of stuff
- 5:12Speaker 4: and forever. And yeah, he came in and was like,
- 5:15Speaker 4: I want to sing lead on Sherry Baby, and I
- 5:18Speaker 4: was like, please, sir, take it away. I'm great with that,
- 5:23Speaker 4: you know. I thought I was gonna have to scream
- 5:25Speaker 4: that out.
- 5:26Speaker 3: It was wonderful not to.
- 5:27Speaker 4: But yeah, he's wonderful, as you know, all those dudes are.
- 5:30Speaker 3: So we'll see. Maybe we'll do more of those gigs.
- 5:33Speaker 3: I don't know. That's funny because I book them because
- 5:36Speaker 3: I didn't know what was happening. But the event was
- 5:38Speaker 3: super cool.
- 5:39Speaker 4: They raised like a million dollars I think just north
- 5:42Speaker 4: of a billion dots, so it was a huge event.
- 5:45Speaker 4: We saw our buddy Brandon from the Pod, one of
- 5:49Speaker 4: his great buddies from high school, Jeremiah, who you know
- 5:52Speaker 4: was there during chancing stuff, and that was super fun.
- 5:55Speaker 4: It was just it was.
- 5:56Speaker 3: A lovely evening.
- 5:58Speaker 4: Plus I think we started at five and we were
- 6:01Speaker 4: out of there by six fifteen, Like, come on.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Here, come on, you're talking to me. I know, right,
- 6:07Speaker 3: It's just like that's a real nice I'm going to
- 6:09Speaker 3: go home park. This is great. You know, that's beautiful.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Everything about it was so easy. And you got a
- 6:15Speaker 3: new You got a new outfit too, didn't they get you? Yeah?
- 6:19Speaker 4: I think we were in talks to buy them, but
- 6:22Speaker 4: I think we're gonna look elsewhere.
- 6:23Speaker 3: It's just like a renting and they just they.
- 6:25Speaker 4: Rented it on our behalf and that was awesome.
- 6:28Speaker 3: So cool. Yeah, it was pretty great.
- 6:30Speaker 4: But yeah, it was fun.
- 6:32Speaker 3: It was fun. What have you been doing, you know,
- 6:36Speaker 3: just uh, just watching movies? I hear that, Well, tell
- 6:39Speaker 3: me about the most recent one you've seen. I feel
- 6:42Speaker 3: silly about it because I did bring it up that
- 6:44Speaker 3: I had watched it yesterday, so it's not a big surprise.
- 6:47Speaker 4: That's okay. I did the same thing, So okay.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Cool. So I ended up watching the movie Weapons on
- 6:54Speaker 3: your recommendation. Hell yes, Rob, Hell it was. It was
- 6:58Speaker 3: past Halloween when I watched, but still kind of close,
- 7:01Speaker 3: still in that kind of feel, so I was like,
- 7:03Speaker 3: I'm gonna go for it. And that movie is just
- 7:06Speaker 3: absolutely bonkers. It freaked me out so much. I was
- 7:10Speaker 3: telling you this, but I watched it alone in my bunk,
- 7:13Speaker 3: and I had to pause several times to just laugh
- 7:17Speaker 3: at myself for how I was jumping and just being horrified.
- 7:22Speaker 3: It had all the scary things that had, the jump scares,
- 7:25Speaker 3: the psychological scares, the gore, which I could have done
- 7:29Speaker 3: less with that door. Yeah, yeah, more than more than
- 7:33Speaker 3: I was super into. But yeah, great actors Julie Garner,
- 7:40Speaker 3: Josh Brolin, Benedict Wong, Alden Ehrenreich, and just an insane
- 7:46Speaker 3: performance from Amy Madigan. Just she's the best. I mean,
- 7:51Speaker 3: it's unbelievable, it's crazy. Yeah, and that was a trip
- 7:55Speaker 3: because I had just shown the kids Uncle Buck the
- 7:58Speaker 3: same week I watched this, So that was a trip. Yeah,
- 8:04Speaker 3: I if I had to nitpick a bit, sure, I
- 8:09Speaker 3: just I wish you would have gotten some sort of
- 8:12Speaker 3: backstory on Amy Madigan's character and why she was she
- 8:17Speaker 3: was doing this, like we might get a prequel or something.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Maybe there's definitely room for that, yeah, because for sure, yeah,
- 8:26Speaker 3: there was open Yeah, but I hear you, yeah, because
- 8:29Speaker 3: I didn't and I didn't even really understand her motives. Either,
- 8:33Speaker 3: because it didn't seem to do anything for her, So
- 8:37Speaker 3: I was like, yeah, that part I didn't. That's my
- 8:41Speaker 3: biggest nitpick with that movie. It's still that movie is
- 8:44Speaker 3: a great movie.
- 8:45Speaker 4: Bonker's super fun if you can get past that stuff,
- 8:49Speaker 4: because I understand if I am a scaredy cat, and
- 8:52Speaker 4: if you are a scaredy cat and can't watch that,
- 8:55Speaker 4: god bless you watch something else. But if you can
- 8:57Speaker 4: get through it, I think that movie's worth watching. It's
- 9:00Speaker 4: it's also they use humor so effectively as a release valve,
- 9:04Speaker 4: Like there's several points that are really funny in it.
- 9:07Speaker 4: So yeah, I don't know how you watch that without
- 9:11Speaker 4: being able to pace around the room though, because that's
- 9:12Speaker 4: what I had to do.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Like I said, I had to pause. I had to
- 9:15Speaker 3: pause a few times just compose myself, and at a
- 9:20Speaker 3: couple of the jump scares, I even went back to
- 9:22Speaker 3: be like because it's so fast, or just like what
- 9:25Speaker 3: am I actually seeing here? Yeah, so I liked having that.
- 9:28Speaker 3: That is nice ability and not seeing it in the theater,
- 9:31Speaker 3: but it is nice. But yeah, that would have been
- 9:32Speaker 3: a fun one in the theater though, I Yeah, that
- 9:35Speaker 3: would have been intense. I think Yeah, that's a super
- 9:38Speaker 3: fun one. Well what have you been watching? Very similarly?
- 9:42Speaker 3: Sort of a like end of Halloween stretch? Oh and also,
- 9:46Speaker 3: I'm sorry, you can watch that on HBO Max. I
- 9:48Speaker 3: didn't tell anybody it was on Max. Now it's on
- 9:52Speaker 3: Max now yeap. So I could rewatch that, yes on
- 9:57Speaker 3: it someday we could. It'd be fun. I wonder if
- 10:00Speaker 3: it'll be up for Oscars. It doesn't matter. We'll talk
- 10:02Speaker 3: about that later.
- 10:04Speaker 4: I told you yesterday. I think I can't remember if
- 10:07Speaker 4: it was. It doesn't matter. I watched a really old
- 10:11Speaker 4: film from nineteen eighty two. I saw John Carpenter's The Thing.
- 10:16Speaker 4: Not John Carpenter's Thing.
- 10:19Speaker 3: That was a separate incident. I saw The Thing. I
- 10:24Speaker 3: have just it.
- 10:25Speaker 4: Comes up on all these you know episodes. We talked
- 10:29Speaker 4: about a horror movie. People are like that one had
- 10:31Speaker 4: a huge effect on me, or it's like the scariest
- 10:34Speaker 4: or whatever.
- 10:35Speaker 3: So I just went for it. It.
- 10:38Speaker 4: It was really good. I did like it quite a lot.
- 10:41Speaker 4: It's really gross, which I wasn't it prepared for. I
- 10:45Speaker 4: guess I thought it was more psychological, like they're stuck
- 10:51Speaker 4: in the you know, the.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Vast tundra, like Antarctica. Where are they are an Antarctica? Okay,
- 10:58Speaker 3: you're totally right about that.
- 10:59Speaker 4: They're at like a like a research facility of sorts,
- 11:03Speaker 4: and yeah, so I guess I just wasn't prepared for
- 11:07Speaker 4: how yucky. Ye was like body horror and stuff, which
- 11:11Speaker 4: isn't bad, and honestly they did a super good job
- 11:13Speaker 4: it just I was like, oh, this is gross several times.
- 11:18Speaker 4: You know, really fun movie though, super well paced. I
- 11:23Speaker 4: guess I totally get why, you know, people loved it
- 11:27Speaker 4: so much, you know, or have continued to love it.
- 11:30Speaker 4: Great cast, Wilford Brimley, Kurt Russell, Doabatus, got t K.
- 11:36Speaker 4: Carter is in it, Keith David as a young man.
- 11:40Speaker 4: I didn't realize David was in it, and that was fun,
- 11:43Speaker 4: but yeah, he's really everybody's.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Really good in it.
- 11:47Speaker 4: Honestly, I did fall victim a little bit to like,
- 11:53Speaker 4: it's just one of those movies where if you don't
- 11:55Speaker 4: see it back in the day, you kind of know
- 11:59Speaker 4: what's happening, right like just through the zeitgeist, right like
- 12:02Speaker 4: you kind of have a rough idea. So I feel
- 12:05Speaker 4: like if I were to watch that in a theater,
- 12:08Speaker 4: I would have been like wow, you know, especially back then, right,
- 12:12Speaker 4: But it was really enjoyable and I had a good time.
- 12:14Speaker 3: It was just yeah, that's fun, real yucky, yeah, very yucky.
- 12:18Speaker 3: You've seen that one, right, Oh yeah, yeah that was
- 12:21Speaker 3: one for whatever reason, my dad liked that one. Yeah
- 12:25Speaker 3: a few times. Yeah, yeah, that's right.
- 12:27Speaker 4: Yeah, but it was it was definitely worth checking out.
- 12:31Speaker 3: I think I just rented it.
- 12:33Speaker 4: Yeah, Prime Video, you can rent it. It's not actually
- 12:36Speaker 4: streaming anywhere, which is a bummer.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, Well, there is a place where you can
- 12:42Speaker 3: stream some movies. It's Apple TV Plus. And that's where
- 12:45Speaker 3: I went to go and watch the new Matthew McConaughey film,
- 12:51Speaker 3: The Lost Bus. How is that? I haven't even heard
- 12:54Speaker 3: It's actually pretty great. I hadn't heard about any that.
- 12:58Speaker 3: I hadn't heard about it at all the Lost Time.
- 13:02Speaker 3: And then my folks were like, did you see the
- 13:04Speaker 3: new McConaughey movie. Was I was like, it was really good?
- 13:07Speaker 3: So I took their recommendation and it was. It was good.
- 13:11Speaker 3: It's it's based on a true story about a guy
- 13:14Speaker 3: who's having a rough go of things as of late,
- 13:17Speaker 3: and he drives a school bus and he was needed
- 13:21Speaker 3: during the horrible fire that went through Paradise, California, back
- 13:26Speaker 3: in like seventeen twenty. Yeah that sounds right. I don't know,
- 13:29Speaker 3: but yeah, okay, cool. I mean it just completely destroyed
- 13:33Speaker 3: the whole town. It was horrible, and that was a
- 13:35Speaker 3: place that we would perform and the place that we
- 13:38Speaker 3: performed actually went down wild. So yeah, so nuts. But yeah,
- 13:45Speaker 3: I thought for a straight to streaming movie that dealt
- 13:49Speaker 3: with like a lot of fire and special effects that
- 13:51Speaker 3: it was really well done. That's cool. Sometimes you can
- 13:54Speaker 3: be you can see that they kind of skimmed on
- 13:57Speaker 3: that stuff a bit. And I was in it, was
- 14:00Speaker 3: in it the whole time. So America Ferrera is also
- 14:04Speaker 3: in it, and she does a really good job. I
- 14:06Speaker 3: like her a lot. I think she's really good. It's
- 14:08Speaker 3: a solid movie. It is worth checking out fun Yeah,
- 14:11Speaker 3: I'll have to do that. This is the first I've
- 14:13Speaker 3: ever heard of it, So that's fun. Well, if you
- 14:16Speaker 3: like it, thank my folks because they brought it with me.
- 14:18Speaker 3: I always do. I'll pre thank them. Thank you guys.
- 14:21Speaker 3: There you go link.
- 14:22Speaker 4: Thank you for funny that you should mention Apple TV
- 14:26Speaker 4: because that's where I watched what I watched. I saw
- 14:30Speaker 4: the first episode of Pluribus today.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Oh my god, dude, it's so good. It's insane rock.
- 14:37Speaker 3: It's so good.
- 14:38Speaker 4: It really I made the mistake of only allowing time
- 14:41Speaker 4: to watch one episode, which is both good and bad,
- 14:44Speaker 4: because now it's really just it's nibbling at my brain,
- 14:47Speaker 4: like I want to know more things.
- 14:51Speaker 3: Well, it came out, I think with two episodes right away?
- 14:54Speaker 3: Is that what it was? Okay? And so I watched
- 14:56Speaker 3: the first two because I think we have just like
- 14:58Speaker 3: three year live now. Three just came Yeah, just came out, racy.
- 15:03Speaker 3: I haven't seen three yet.
- 15:04Speaker 4: I don't even know how to describe what this is.
- 15:06Speaker 4: It's a well, first of all, I should say it's
- 15:09Speaker 4: a Vince Gilligan vehicle, Uh, the guy who did Breaking Bad.
- 15:15Speaker 3: And Better Call Saul, Better Call Saul, Thank you. I
- 15:18Speaker 3: was like, here's another one I don't remember.
- 15:20Speaker 4: From Better Call Saul. Rhea Seahorn is the lead of this,
- 15:25Speaker 4: it seems at least through one year.
- 15:27Speaker 3: So awesome. She's so good.
- 15:30Speaker 4: I loved the first episode. I'm not even gonna really
- 15:33Speaker 4: tell you what happens because you just experience it because
- 15:35Speaker 4: it's it is fun to go.
- 15:38Speaker 3: Yeah, and I didn't know.
- 15:41Speaker 4: The only thing i'd heard is people were like, you
- 15:42Speaker 4: should probably watch this, you'll like it, and I was like, oh,
- 15:45Speaker 4: it's so good.
- 15:46Speaker 3: I don't even know.
- 15:46Speaker 4: I thought it was like a political thriller. Yeah, you know,
- 15:49Speaker 4: because a pluribus that's all I got.
- 15:52Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 15:53Speaker 4: Uh, it's it's really fun. Go check it out. It's
- 15:56Speaker 4: on Apple TV Plus.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Like we said, the second episode is even better than
- 16:00Speaker 3: the really Baby Tonight. It's fun man, that's fun. Yeah,
- 16:08Speaker 3: really quality.
- 16:09Speaker 4: I'm super excited to see what happens to it because
- 16:11Speaker 4: it's uh yeah, it's really wild.
- 16:14Speaker 3: So go check it out.
- 16:15Speaker 4: I don't think it's Apple TV Plus anymore.
- 16:17Speaker 3: I don't know what they're calling it. Oh is it
- 16:19Speaker 3: different now?
- 16:20Speaker 4: I think they just changed it to Apple TV going
- 16:24Speaker 4: to which is confusing because they also have a product
- 16:27Speaker 4: that's an Apple t R.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Yeah. I don't. Maybe I'm wrong about that. It also
- 16:32Speaker 3: super duper doesn't matter, It doesn't, but you know it
- 16:35Speaker 3: does matter, Rob what looks you? Because this is always
- 16:40Speaker 3: over on the Twitter machine where we're at Avid Endorsment
- 16:42Speaker 3: with a Z. You can go to uh what do

- 17:16Speaker 3: Another perk we like to give our patrons is an
- 17:20Speaker 3: extended version of every episode we put out, call it
- 17:23Speaker 3: our podcast and Chow version. We'll do a top five
- 17:25Speaker 3: draft that pertains to the movie we were talking about.
- 17:29Speaker 3: And for this one, shockingly, we've never done our top
- 17:32Speaker 3: five favorite movie Bullies Crazy, which is crazy to me
- 17:37Speaker 3: that we've done three hundred plus of these and I've
- 17:39Speaker 3: never done that, and I'm glad we did. It's going
- 17:42Speaker 3: to be a fun one.
- 17:43Speaker 4: It's so weird to me how we'll spend like twenty
- 17:46Speaker 4: minutes trying to come up with any topic sometimes and
- 17:49Speaker 4: then other times we're like, I don't think we've done this, Okay, cool,
- 17:52Speaker 4: and then it's just nuts.
- 17:54Speaker 3: It's happened. It's wonderful.
- 17:56Speaker 4: I'm excited for this. I feel like there's probably some
- 17:59Speaker 4: I forgot, so for sure it'll be fun. It'll be
- 18:02Speaker 4: fun to see what happens.
- 18:03Speaker 3: So yeah, we will look forward to that. Greg. We
- 18:07Speaker 3: are here today, though, to talk about a lovely little
- 18:10Speaker 3: film called teen Wolf. Teen Wolf forty years truly.
- 18:16Speaker 4: The finest film of our time. I think we can
- 18:18Speaker 4: all agree. It's forty years old.
- 18:20Speaker 3: Which is crazy.
- 18:21Speaker 4: Like you said, that's yep, that's pretty wild. I'm super
- 18:25Speaker 4: excited to talk about this silly, silly movie. And we
- 18:29Speaker 4: had to get a real silly man to join us
- 18:31Speaker 4: here today. Let's get sure you guys know him, you
- 18:34Speaker 4: love him, you at least like him. Give it up
- 18:36Speaker 4: for Chris Chada.
- 18:39Speaker 3: What's up? Chatham? Hey?
- 18:42Speaker 1: Hi, how are you?
- 18:46Speaker 5: I'm unbelievable.
- 18:48Speaker 3: You really are, belie. Yeah. I love that you got
- 18:52Speaker 3: into character for this pod. Yeah, you are our wolf
- 18:57Speaker 3: man here.
- 18:58Speaker 5: When you told me about it, I was like, look
- 19:00Speaker 5: stop everything, especially the haircuts, you know what I mean.
- 19:04Speaker 5: And I was like, I'm just gonna I'm just gonna
- 19:06Speaker 5: hold off on that for a while and see what happened.
- 19:07Speaker 3: I begged you not to do it, and you still
- 19:09Speaker 3: just did it.
- 19:10Speaker 4: I don't were born for this. No, no, everyone knows.
- 19:12Speaker 4: We don't plan that far.
- 19:14Speaker 5: No, of course, it isn't.
- 19:16Speaker 3: Even taking that long to grow. Yeah, this guy grows
- 19:20Speaker 3: hair like crazy.
- 19:21Speaker 5: Yeah, I am a miracle grow like I'm a I'm
- 19:24Speaker 5: a chia pet at heart.
- 19:26Speaker 3: It's really awesome. He is a grower, the end, the end.
- 19:34Speaker 3: All right, cool, that's our various hair states. Look like
- 19:39Speaker 3: the Three Bears but for hair. And it's me sad
- 19:42Speaker 3: because I I have no hair. Oh buddy, it doesn't
- 19:46Speaker 3: make me sad. I don't care. I gave up on
- 19:48Speaker 3: that a long time ago.
- 19:50Speaker 4: So happy to have you, pal. You're out in California
- 19:53Speaker 4: right now?
- 19:54Speaker 3: Is that right? I is?
- 19:56Speaker 5: I is in California. You know it's nice California.
- 19:59Speaker 3: Tell me you do you like it? Yeah?
- 20:01Speaker 5: Well, when you're like when I left Tennessee and I
- 20:07Speaker 5: was driving across country because that's what I did because
- 20:09Speaker 5: I want my cars here for two months, and I
- 20:11Speaker 5: was like, this is fun and the legendary Tim Faust
- 20:15Speaker 5: is my car trip concierge. So anytime I'm like, I'm
- 20:18Speaker 5: going to be hungry in two hours and he's like.
- 20:19Speaker 3: All right, let me look where you are and that's amazing.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Let me figure this out.
- 20:22Speaker 5: Yeah, and he'll send me something every single time, and
- 20:26Speaker 5: I'm like, this is the best whatever it is ever.
- 20:28Speaker 3: I love that.
- 20:29Speaker 5: So it's been wonderful. But when I left, I think
- 20:33Speaker 5: Tim and my mom both said like, hey, it's like
- 20:35Speaker 5: twenty degrees here and starting to snow, and I was like,
- 20:37Speaker 5: well that was good timing. Yes, I'm not going to
- 20:40Speaker 5: do that here, so we're good.
- 20:42Speaker 3: Yeah, that was a weird day. It was colder down
- 20:44Speaker 3: there than it was up here. Yeah, strange, Oh weird.
- 20:47Speaker 5: Yeah, everything is ending.
- 20:49Speaker 3: I knew that was.
- 20:50Speaker 5: That was when we're like, oh so arm again two.
- 20:55Speaker 5: This time this time it's personal.
- 20:57Speaker 3: This time it's personal.
- 21:00Speaker 4: Well, hopefully the world doesn't end before Christmas, because you're
- 21:03Speaker 4: going to be in this great show. You're back out
- 21:04Speaker 4: there for Santa's Secret. You can go to santrasecret dot
- 21:09Speaker 4: co slash Los Angeles.
- 21:12Speaker 3: This is the.
- 21:13Speaker 4: Scantily clad kind of body Santa show you're in.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Is that right? It is? It is?
- 21:20Speaker 5: It's not for kids, unless you want to answer a
- 21:22Speaker 5: lot of questions.
- 21:24Speaker 3: It's fun.
- 21:24Speaker 5: Maybe, Yeah, it's fantastic. Yeah, it's ensure.
- 21:34Speaker 3: That's like a variety show.
- 21:35Speaker 5: There's aerialists, there's singing, there's there's a Dominatrix on Santa,
- 21:41Speaker 5: don't worry about that. Yeah, it's pretty great. And there's
- 21:44Speaker 5: a host and he's wonderful.
- 21:48Speaker 3: That's fun, dude.
- 21:49Speaker 5: Yeah, but with like the band music, directing and playing
- 21:52Speaker 5: in this band, and we start with a singer, so
- 21:55Speaker 5: four piece band, singer, and we do forty five minutes
- 21:57Speaker 5: while people are walking in from there's a hallway they
- 21:59Speaker 5: walk through where all the cast is kind of set
- 22:01Speaker 5: in their little spots and it looks like Christmas threw up.
- 22:04Speaker 5: Oh cool, and they just wander through there. And as
- 22:06Speaker 5: they're doing that, they sit to us playing music so
- 22:08Speaker 5: that they're not just you know, it's not just songs
- 22:10Speaker 5: on a speaker. And then yeah, we finish, and then
- 22:14Speaker 5: the show happens and it's just like a a tale
- 22:17Speaker 5: of the the lascivious Secrets of Santa.
- 22:22Speaker 3: That that's cool.
- 22:23Speaker 5: Everything he's trying to hide and yeah, it's really fun.
- 22:26Speaker 5: And my favorite part is this year they actually are
- 22:30Speaker 5: using that Christmas through up installment for kids. So they're
- 22:34Speaker 5: like during the daytime, they have like the Santa Passport
- 22:37Speaker 5: to Santa and like it's actual, like what you would
- 22:40Speaker 5: think kids kids can go to and hang out. Nobody's
- 22:43Speaker 5: naked really so but that you would think, don't worry about.
- 22:53Speaker 5: It's like kind of how all the Disney movies are.
- 22:55Speaker 5: There's jokes for adults. I feel like there's a way
- 22:57Speaker 5: to see what you want to see, but no, it's
- 23:00Speaker 5: it's that made me laugh a lot that that's happening.
- 23:02Speaker 5: But it's yeah, and they're opening in Chicago as well
- 23:05Speaker 5: this year and I'm music directing that.
- 23:07Speaker 3: One as well. From a far fun I get.
- 23:10Speaker 5: To be the I get I'm getting into be the
- 23:12Speaker 5: guy for this stuff and it's fun to get.
- 23:14Speaker 4: Many times do they talk about licking santis?
- 23:18Speaker 5: I mean there's a yes, there's at least there's at
- 23:22Speaker 5: least one that I know of, and it's.
- 23:24Speaker 3: More than licking and it's wonderful. That's a whole thing.
- 23:28Speaker 5: And then the there's like on stage and then explodes
- 23:31Speaker 5: and you know, it's a lot.
- 23:33Speaker 3: So I'm sure there's some ho ho ho jokes and
- 23:36Speaker 3: lots of there's a lot of that.
- 23:40Speaker 5: There's a lot of that, but then you like you
- 23:42Speaker 5: get to see actual physical feats of insane talent where
- 23:45Speaker 5: they're like because.
- 23:46Speaker 3: There's stuff.
- 23:48Speaker 5: Alist, there's a guy the guy that blows my mind.
- 23:51Speaker 5: And my friend Autumn, who's an air list, she's like,
- 23:54Speaker 5: she's like, that's that guy's insane. He's just on the
- 23:57Speaker 5: on a hanging pole. I'm like, how you hang out,
- 23:59Speaker 5: Oh yeah, doing like flag stuff. And I'm like, also
- 24:02Speaker 5: you see some some good guy butts too. It looks
- 24:05Speaker 5: like it's it's something for him for everybody. It's everybody
- 24:08Speaker 5: gets what they need.
- 24:09Speaker 3: Yeah, really hot behind in one of the photos.
- 24:13Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like sometimes there's a guy that's just there
- 24:15Speaker 5: to be hot, you know, like he just comes out
- 24:18Speaker 5: and it's like, I'm hot.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Here we are. I'm sorry I could make it this year,
- 24:21Speaker 3: but I hope he found someone else next time. Next
- 24:23Speaker 3: we'll get you. We'll get you. Once they get the
- 24:25Speaker 3: Minneapolis show, Yeah that's coming.
- 24:28Speaker 5: I mean I will get naked for it, he will.
- 24:32Speaker 5: And someone there's a there's there's a pick for every
- 24:38Speaker 5: barn As.
- 24:38Speaker 3: They say, yeah, I.
- 24:43Speaker 4: Feel like we could have said I.
- 24:46Speaker 5: Don't sorry, I don't know what made me think, don't
- 24:50Speaker 5: worry about the van.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Go painting for every frame. I don't know.
- 24:54Speaker 4: Maybe he could have said that now sure, Yeah, a
- 25:02Speaker 4: lot of drooping was that the right guy is the
- 25:04Speaker 4: guy that's.
- 25:06Speaker 5: Dolly Dolly you're thinking of who is the guy?
- 25:12Speaker 3: Like stairs and stuff stairs like that. Things aren't where
- 25:17Speaker 3: you think they'd be, they should they should be where
- 25:20Speaker 3: they think they should be.
- 25:22Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, I like to keep them guessing. I've
- 25:26Speaker 4: never heard any complaints. That had never heard a lot
- 25:28Speaker 4: of but no complaints.
- 25:30Speaker 3: I can't hear that. Well, it turns out.
- 25:34Speaker 5: I haven't heard any complaints, but I've seen a face
- 25:37Speaker 5: or two that has number.
- 25:41Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 25:41Speaker 4: She said something I wouldn't. Sorry, I've really taken a
- 25:47Speaker 4: off track. Go there, Los Angeles. Also Patreon dot com,
- 25:54Speaker 4: slash Chris Chadam. You're still putting stuff out there. Stuff
- 25:58Speaker 4: all the time, all the time.
- 26:00Speaker 5: Definitely Mondays especially. I like to do things, you know,
- 26:04Speaker 5: I have all these musical friends now, like I just
- 26:06Speaker 5: go to out here. We have a bunch of musical friends.
- 26:08Speaker 5: I'm like, hey, you want to do a quick song
- 26:09Speaker 5: with me for Patreon and showcase my other friends that
- 26:12Speaker 5: don't have paid. I'm like, you know what you should do?
- 26:15Speaker 5: You're trying to get them onto you know.
- 26:16Speaker 3: I can share it right, Ye's great? Totally yeah, big fan?
- 26:22Speaker 3: Well should we get right into it? A little bit
- 26:25Speaker 3: of teen? Absolutely? What a wolf?
- 26:30Speaker 4: What a what a what a film?
- 26:32Speaker 3: Rob Will started with just a cinema? I would love
- 26:36Speaker 3: to when high school nerds. Scott Howard learns from his
- 26:41Speaker 3: father that being a well ware wolf runs in the family.
- 26:44Speaker 3: He decides to take advantage of his freakish trait with
- 26:48Speaker 3: his newfound strength and agility Squat Scott. Scott quickly becomes
- 26:53Speaker 3: the hero of his school's basketball team, while winning over
- 26:57Speaker 3: longtime crush Pamela Wells. As he grows more popular, Scott
- 27:02Speaker 3: worries he is being celebrated as a novelty rather than
- 27:06Speaker 3: for who he is. Oh, I love it identity. He
- 27:10Speaker 3: sounded like, what's the baseball guy? Carrie Harry Carry Harry Carry? Yeah,
- 27:15Speaker 3: he's when you were like Scott scotch bo bo Jackson, woof?
- 27:22Speaker 3: Would you team yourself? I know I would, I know
- 27:25Speaker 3: I would not be delicious.
- 27:29Speaker 4: Uh, it's just that gonna be that kind of episode.
- 27:32Speaker 4: I don't know what to tell you.
- 27:33Speaker 3: Let's go to run it's.
- 27:34Speaker 4: Modust and hear what they have to say. Critics have
- 27:36Speaker 4: it coming in at a not terrible forty six percent.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Oh man, I don't know, if not.
- 27:42Speaker 4: I mean it's better than yesterday's film.
- 27:44Speaker 3: Yeah, we just did film sure when Nature calls out
- 27:48Speaker 3: and the critics had twenty three.
- 27:51Speaker 5: Twenty three, Yeah, for sure critics.
- 27:53Speaker 3: And audiences was up to seventy two.
- 27:56Speaker 4: Though, uh yeah, yeah, the audiences didn't feel as great
- 27:59Speaker 4: about this one. They're at fifty two.
- 28:02Speaker 3: They're not wrong in both cases. I think I think
- 28:07Speaker 3: it's about half.
- 28:08Speaker 5: Like, yeah, obviously people did not know what to do
- 28:10Speaker 5: with Jim Carrey, and I'm like, the rhino is the
- 28:13Speaker 5: funniest thing I've ever seen in my life.
- 28:14Speaker 3: So I got that. That's like half the episode really is.
- 28:17Speaker 3: That's the reason why we did the episode. That was
- 28:20Speaker 3: because of the rhinos.
- 28:22Speaker 5: Suffocating laughing. I don't understand it. So I don't know
- 28:25Speaker 5: how you would pull it off.
- 28:25Speaker 3: I don't know. No, just perfect. That is cinema. Yeah,
- 28:30Speaker 3: that's what I want.
- 28:31Speaker 5: That's what the acting.
- 28:35Speaker 4: Let's go hear what we think about this movie.
- 28:37Speaker 3: Though, it's time for our hot take.
- 28:39Speaker 1: That's a hot take.
- 28:41Speaker 3: That's a hot take, hot take out, hot take. Sorry,
- 28:46Speaker 3: thank you, thank you. We'll just take that. Yeah, we'll
- 28:48Speaker 3: do that. That's good, that's going.
- 28:51Speaker 4: I can go first. I watched this movie a ton
- 28:54Speaker 4: when I was a kid. I really loved it. I
- 28:57Speaker 4: continue to love it, though I do see it's like
- 29:00Speaker 4: a great movie, but it's no, it's really fun.
- 29:03Speaker 3: Are you sure? Uh?
- 29:05Speaker 4: For the most part, it's fun. There's some definite like
- 29:07Speaker 4: eighties we say some stuff we don't need to say.
- 29:11Speaker 3: Uh. The gay slur stuff was a little that was jarring.
- 29:16Speaker 4: It was jarring. I will say there wasn't a lot
- 29:18Speaker 4: of like malice necessarily in their voice. But it's not
- 29:21Speaker 4: great and I think.
- 29:22Speaker 3: It's not great, and it's like a pivotal part of
- 29:24Speaker 3: the it's when he first transforms in front of his friend,
- 29:27Speaker 3: and it's that was It was brutal.
- 29:29Speaker 5: It is an allegory to coming out and you're like,
- 29:32Speaker 5: don't do that though, Yeah.
- 29:34Speaker 4: Which is also funny because this whole time I was like,
- 29:36Speaker 4: is styles gay? Like he is with ladies, but he's
- 29:40Speaker 4: also with that dude. The whole time, I think she's
- 29:43Speaker 4: got the tucked into he's what he's what?
- 29:47Speaker 3: I would call it ambi distriss. I think that's probably.
- 29:49Speaker 4: He's a he's a He's going whichever way the wind
- 29:53Speaker 4: blows him.
- 29:53Speaker 3: I think I get it. Do you want to sell it?
- 29:55Speaker 3: And good for wind?
- 29:57Speaker 4: But yes, uh, just a really funny movie.
- 30:02Speaker 3: Michael J.
- 30:03Speaker 4: Fox is super funny in it and just silly. It's
- 30:07Speaker 4: just a silly good time. There's so sort of fun
- 30:10Speaker 4: music in it. There's like a tiny bit of tenderness
- 30:13Speaker 4: in it, which I like. Of course, Yeah all around,
- 30:17Speaker 4: I still really enjoyed it. If you don't have the wonderful,
- 30:22Speaker 4: you know, rose colored glasses of nostalgia, I don't know
- 30:25Speaker 4: that this.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Movie's gonna hit the same way for you. Oh yeah,
- 30:29Speaker 3: but I do. And so I had a lovely time.
- 30:32Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, I guess that's really all I have to say,
- 30:36Speaker 4: other than my hot take of and I don't think
- 30:39Speaker 4: this is a unique take. I gotta believe it's a
- 30:42Speaker 4: bigger deal. If someone turns into a werewolf, we might
- 30:45Speaker 4: stop the game to discuss the of the movie. I
- 30:51Speaker 4: know we get to this later, but when the coach goes.
- 30:54Speaker 3: Let's play a little ball.
- 30:55Speaker 4: Here, it makes me laugh every single time, just like Okay,
- 30:59Speaker 4: I guess.
- 31:00Speaker 3: I guess.
- 31:01Speaker 4: So, I mean, I get it, suspend belief, all that stuff.
- 31:04Speaker 3: We got a guy that can dunk. Now let's play.
- 31:07Speaker 4: Yeah, it's so so silly. But yeah, that's a silly
- 31:14Speaker 4: little complaint. But it's not even a complaint. It's just silly.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Absolutely, Yeah, it's unbelievable. Yeah, hot take, buddy, that's my take.
- 31:25Speaker 3: I also have a very similar hot take. It had
- 31:28Speaker 3: been a very long time since I'd seen this film.
- 31:31Speaker 3: I probably saw it ten or so times as a kid.
- 31:35Speaker 3: It was directed by Rod Daniel, who is most famous
- 31:38Speaker 3: for movies about canines such as teen Wolf Canine. Oh yeah, James,
- 31:46Speaker 3: I love that and Beethoven second, so he loves loves
- 31:50Speaker 3: a doo. Is that you're saying, no, not Turner for it.
- 31:58Speaker 3: I love that thing so much. Me too. It was
- 32:01Speaker 3: written by Jeff Loebe. This was his first movie credit.
- 32:06Speaker 3: It's not well, it's the same maybe this. Then he
- 32:12Speaker 3: did Commando, and then he moved into the superhero world
- 32:17Speaker 3: and has produced a lot of the Marvel TV shows.
- 32:20Speaker 3: No Kidding, Wow, No, Dru's cool, Drue huh. But yeah,
- 32:24Speaker 3: this movie is just absolutely bananas. It should not work,
- 32:28Speaker 3: but it's it's a bunch of fun. And it's mostly
- 32:30Speaker 3: I think because of Michael J. Fox. Like you said,
- 32:34Speaker 3: some things don't age well well, for you know, nineteen
- 32:38Speaker 3: eighty five. There are so many things that just don't
- 32:43Speaker 3: make any sense, and we just go along with it
- 32:45Speaker 3: because it's fun, for sure. For example, like the one
- 32:49Speaker 3: you said where we're just gonna keep on playing the
- 32:51Speaker 3: basketball game after someone turns into a werewolf. I also
- 32:57Speaker 3: love the championship game has already begun and then Scott
- 33:01Speaker 3: comes in. Everything stops. They even do another tip off.
- 33:05Speaker 3: Don't worry he arrives. Not important. That's ridiculous. The game
- 33:10Speaker 3: ends with a foul and they let his bully just
- 33:13Speaker 3: sit under the basket and he falls out.
- 33:16Speaker 4: It's a technical, I guess because no one else is
- 33:18Speaker 4: at the line, but he's just.
- 33:21Speaker 3: Right under the rim. Yeah, wouldn't that be amazing if
- 33:23Speaker 3: they actually let do that for it? I'm sure.
- 33:27Speaker 5: I'm pretty sure that's where basketball came from, right, Yes,
- 33:31Speaker 5: let's let's do that, the tinfoil.
- 33:35Speaker 3: That stuff.
- 33:35Speaker 5: Yeah, that'd be a great part of the game.
- 33:38Speaker 3: That's a good, good call. Fun. What else do we have?
- 33:42Speaker 3: Styles wants a keg so bad, he asks his friend
- 33:45Speaker 3: to commit armed robbery. Wild. I have that too.
- 33:50Speaker 5: I was like, just like a noticely fine, it'll be
- 33:54Speaker 5: good here.
- 33:54Speaker 3: It's it's just a water gun. It's fine. Yeah, great,
- 33:57Speaker 3: we're not robbing money. I'm like, it is unbelievable. And uh,
- 34:02Speaker 3: I don't know, why do we just accept that because
- 34:05Speaker 3: he's a wolf, he's going to be really good at basketball.
- 34:10Speaker 5: Historically great, but we all saw air bud, so we
- 34:14Speaker 5: cannon you.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Know, you know it's that is that.
- 34:18Speaker 5: Is Yeah, that's just he's fine because he can smell
- 34:22Speaker 5: where three point he's like.
- 34:24Speaker 4: Also just scratches the ship out of Booth's back when
- 34:27Speaker 4: they're in.
- 34:27Speaker 3: The oh yeah, and you're like it's fine. She's like, yeah,
- 34:33Speaker 3: I expected like it. There's there's more. But those are
- 34:39Speaker 3: ridiculous hot takes. It doesn't make sense. It doesn't make sense.
- 34:47Speaker 5: Hard pass in the room.
- 34:48Speaker 4: I think, yeah, but yeah, it shouldn't work.
- 34:53Speaker 3: It is a guilty pleasure of mine. I do enjoy it.
- 34:56Speaker 3: And his dad definitely wants his son's girlfriend. That weird
- 35:01Speaker 3: basketball time. Yeah, so cringey.
- 35:04Speaker 5: I was like, what are we doing here?
- 35:05Speaker 3: It's like, why I don't think this old man get
- 35:08Speaker 3: out of there and you're playing what on what? Yeah,
- 35:10Speaker 3: just giggling and backing them down into the paint, if
- 35:13Speaker 3: you know what I mean.
- 35:13Speaker 5: It was so weird.
- 35:15Speaker 3: Yeah, it was weird. Yeah, so weird all that, he said.
- 35:19Speaker 3: I still had a good time, yea, and still still
- 35:25Speaker 3: kind of had fun.
- 35:26Speaker 5: Yeah, but hot take, Yeah, I mean that's that's what
- 35:30Speaker 5: the eighties movie were like. We didn't care about that again,
- 35:34Speaker 5: you know, and then so much cocaine, so much that
- 35:39Speaker 5: you just didn't care, like the storyliner like Michael Jay,
- 35:42Speaker 5: isn't it. We're just gonna do something articulars. I mean,
- 35:45Speaker 5: the great movies like Soulman. Soulman came out then and
- 35:48Speaker 5: you're like.
- 35:50Speaker 6: No, thank you, no thank you, Like yeah, you couldn't
- 35:56Speaker 6: even sniff that right now, like insane, you know, back
- 36:01Speaker 6: to school.
- 36:01Speaker 5: It just became like, hey, they talk about now how
- 36:04Speaker 5: movies can't do that, not because it's offensive, but just
- 36:07Speaker 5: because no one's going to put together the money to
- 36:09Speaker 5: put that out there now when you could just it's
- 36:12Speaker 5: you know, eight billion people were putting out videos that
- 36:15Speaker 5: are hilarious and you could just watch it on your phone.
- 36:18Speaker 5: So they're just not doing comedies like that anymore. And
- 36:21Speaker 5: the nostalgia is there for me because I'm like I
- 36:23Speaker 5: miss all that, you know, sure, my hot take, a
- 36:27Speaker 5: real hot take would be like I thought it was amazing, guys.
- 36:31Speaker 3: You were like that, you guys all right.
- 36:35Speaker 5: How well crafted the storyline is from the beginning to end.
- 36:38Speaker 5: There's no holes whatsoever. Yeah, I think the same thoughts
- 36:43Speaker 5: you did. For like we could all pick different scenes
- 36:46Speaker 5: that I was like, huh, I don't think that's going
- 36:49Speaker 5: to work right now, Like you couldn't have yeah, you
- 36:51Speaker 5: couldn't have them doing the play scene and the acting
- 36:56Speaker 5: coach being like more sensual. Yeah, And I'm like yeah,
- 37:00Speaker 5: and it's just I'm like, no one's here, just you two. No, nope, Nope,
- 37:05Speaker 5: that's weird.
- 37:06Speaker 3: But I was glad that didn't go any further though,
- 37:08Speaker 3: because when she started calling him his first name and stuff,
- 37:11Speaker 3: I was like, this where we're going.
- 37:13Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, people just start playing here's to you, Robinson.
- 37:21Speaker 5: Sorry to charge you money for that. So yeah, I
- 37:25Speaker 5: ruined everything the my uh my hot take. Yeah, I
- 37:31Speaker 5: think probably people got hurt van surfing afterwards.
- 37:35Speaker 3: I think that was a problem. That was fun, that's yeah.
- 37:39Speaker 5: I was like, look, I thought about doing it immediately,
- 37:41Speaker 5: so I know what happened, Yeah, trying to hold up
- 37:45Speaker 5: a liquor store. I I don't know if these are
- 37:48Speaker 5: just thoughts or a hot take, but I just decided
- 37:50Speaker 5: to put them here. But uh, the it made me
- 37:55Speaker 5: miss RC Cola. I was like, you don't see that
- 37:57Speaker 5: product placement anymore, you don't coming.
- 38:00Speaker 3: I feel like I just heard there.
- 38:03Speaker 5: Oh really, I remember them being you know, when I
- 38:06Speaker 5: can of anything else was fifty cents and they're like, no, no,
- 38:08Speaker 5: thirty five.
- 38:09Speaker 3: I was like.
- 38:09Speaker 5: Cool and uh yeah. And than that, the I love
- 38:14Speaker 5: that they couldn't get there was a scene like where
- 38:18Speaker 5: it's supposed to sound like chariots a fire, like you know,
- 38:22Speaker 5: and I couldn't get the right one. They just made
- 38:24Speaker 5: it sound like it. And I was like, get as
- 38:26Speaker 5: close as you can.
- 38:27Speaker 3: About the lawyers first, yeah, yeah, some of that score
- 38:31Speaker 3: is pretty yeah.
- 38:33Speaker 2: And.
- 38:34Speaker 5: The score the score, I remember, I knew it affected
- 38:37Speaker 5: me because I'm only seen a few times and I
- 38:39Speaker 5: definitely haven't seen it for like thirty years, you know, right,
- 38:42Speaker 5: and it's but I remember, like like I remembered it
- 38:48Speaker 5: very well, and I was like, oh, I was supposed
- 38:50Speaker 5: to go into this field, I guess, but yeah, No,
- 38:54Speaker 5: it's just a ridiculous premise, a ridiculous reaction to him
- 38:57Speaker 5: being where. I loved the we'll get into the character stuff,
- 39:03Speaker 5: but I just thought, why are we what are we
- 39:05Speaker 5: doing here? And but because it's the eighties, I had
- 39:08Speaker 5: the same nostalgia. It was like the way the sun
- 39:11Speaker 5: hits the cars and stuff, like it's different or something.
- 39:13Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 39:14Speaker 5: I'm just like right back to like riding bikes.
- 39:17Speaker 4: I don't know about that weird opening credit sequence that
- 39:21Speaker 4: was like horror movie.
- 39:23Speaker 3: Yeah, it was weird.
- 39:24Speaker 5: Yeah, it was like just no music, It's just like
- 39:27Speaker 5: hits and like, yeah, dude, I.
- 39:29Speaker 4: Definitely stopped the movie. It was like, am I watching
- 39:32Speaker 4: this film?
- 39:33Speaker 3: It's just different.
- 39:35Speaker 5: When it said like comedy and horror as like this
- 39:37Speaker 5: the genre, when I looked up on the streaming and
- 39:39Speaker 5: I was like, just the horror.
- 39:42Speaker 3: Really.
- 39:43Speaker 5: I probably didn't like the Red Eyes when I was
- 39:45Speaker 5: a kid, but you know, I got over it looked
- 39:48Speaker 5: very the makeup stuffe translation look very thrillery.
- 39:51Speaker 3: It was like.
- 39:55Speaker 5: Yeah, and I was like, so that's my hot take
- 39:58Speaker 5: is that they robbed thriller. They that's a hot take,
- 40:01Speaker 5: that's it.
- 40:03Speaker 3: And they really did even at the school dance too.
- 40:06Speaker 3: That was a very thriller.
- 40:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I think I think Michael J action accent can
- 40:12Speaker 5: get some money from there. I couldn't say it, right,
- 40:16Speaker 5: Michael Jackson, Thank you hot hot.
- 40:20Speaker 3: Take buddy, very hot. All right, let's go and pick
- 40:24Speaker 3: our favorite acting performance, and let's choose the dude.
- 40:30Speaker 7: I'm the dude, So that's what you call me, you
- 40:32Speaker 7: know that, or his dude or duder or you know,
- 40:38Speaker 7: eldud a reno. If you're not into the whole brevity thing.
- 40:41Speaker 3: The dude who you got for that one?
- 40:46Speaker 5: It's just going to be Michael J. Because that's what
- 40:48Speaker 5: are you going to do? You know, like, there's a
- 40:51Speaker 5: lot of stuff I can do. There's a lot of
- 40:52Speaker 5: side actors, a lot of there's a lot of Tucciese
- 40:55Speaker 5: for me. But Michael J just the other the premise
- 41:00Speaker 5: that he's like five five playing basketball and.
- 41:03Speaker 3: He's like he's just this the littlest.
- 41:05Speaker 5: Person, like hey, hey, sorry, you know so much like
- 41:13Speaker 5: did they just crank it to ninety and they're like,
- 41:16Speaker 5: or they just have water machines.
- 41:18Speaker 3: Just dumped water on his head and then we're like, yeah,
- 41:21Speaker 3: go for it.
- 41:22Speaker 5: It was probably a lot of injuries on that on
- 41:25Speaker 5: the wet floor of that basketball court.
- 41:27Speaker 1: You know.
- 41:29Speaker 3: Yeah, but he did great.
- 41:30Speaker 5: I think as far as he pulled me in and
- 41:32Speaker 5: I liked him. I like the change as as the wolf.
- 41:35Speaker 3: I thought that was.
- 41:36Speaker 5: He was like, you know, definitely more confident, and they're like, oh,
- 41:40Speaker 5: there he is, And I like that choice. So I
- 41:43Speaker 5: think it's just it probably deserves at least like a globe.
- 41:48Speaker 3: You know, at least a globe, probably like an MTV
- 41:51Speaker 3: move globe.
- 41:52Speaker 5: You know here the Golden Popcorn. Yes, remember the moon Man.
- 41:57Speaker 3: Yeah? Love that. So, yeah, dude, I'm right there with you.
- 42:01Speaker 3: He's able to keep the character somewhat believable under the
- 42:06Speaker 3: ridiculous circumstances. One thing I found interesting is that normally
- 42:10Speaker 3: that kind of character greats on me. He's kind of
- 42:14Speaker 3: he's a Debbie downer throughout most of this. He's kind
- 42:17Speaker 3: of always complaining, And the fact that he's able to
- 42:20Speaker 3: still be pretty charming and come out of that is
- 42:23Speaker 3: impressive to me, because I hate that when it's just like,
- 42:26Speaker 3: I don't know what I want, changing big feelings, just.
- 42:34Speaker 5: I get bored with that big especially when that big changes.
- 42:38Speaker 3: I'm turning into a werewolf. Well it ends up being that,
- 42:42Speaker 3: but it's just kind of annoying personal. Yeah, but he
- 42:46Speaker 3: I wasn't.
- 42:47Speaker 5: Annoyed, but I joined find out physical comedy, the physical
- 42:50Speaker 5: stuff where he's dropping stuff and kicking the tape on
- 42:53Speaker 5: the streage, and I was.
- 42:53Speaker 3: Like, that was a solid for me.
- 42:55Speaker 5: I like it anyway.
- 42:59Speaker 3: Same, it's Michael J. Fox.
- 43:01Speaker 4: It's not particularly close. This movie with a different actor
- 43:04Speaker 4: would be terrible, and the sequel actor but still.
- 43:11Speaker 3: Was what are you trying to say?
- 43:14Speaker 4: We'll talk more about that in next week's episode.
- 43:19Speaker 3: But yeah, I just I think he saves it as
- 43:21Speaker 3: much as you can. And he is.
- 43:23Speaker 4: He's still very charismatic. He's fun. I think his superpower
- 43:28Speaker 4: a little bit as he can be really fun but
- 43:30Speaker 4: also have that little like the like heart to hearts
- 43:34Speaker 4: when he's a wolf with boof and stuff are still.
- 43:36Speaker 3: Good, you know what I mean. And the identity stuff
- 43:40Speaker 3: is still fun. And yeah, I don't know, I really
- 43:43Speaker 3: liked him in this. I think he's he's great and
- 43:45Speaker 3: it would be much worse without him a great Yeah,
- 43:49Speaker 3: much worse with that, Like, yeah, but they had some
- 43:53Speaker 3: fun side characters. I think maybe now we should go
- 43:56Speaker 3: and pick the two Geo.
- 43:59Speaker 5: Let's touch it up, baby. You see. For me, I said,
- 44:06Speaker 5: there was a lot and there aren't. Like, first of all,
- 44:09Speaker 5: Boof is like a thousand percent. I was like, I'm
- 44:13Speaker 5: I like Boof a lot. Like when I was that day,
- 44:15Speaker 5: I was like, cool, that's the and that happened with
- 44:18Speaker 5: most of the movies that Like. I was never like
- 44:20Speaker 5: the one the Pamela's. I was never that guy that girl.
- 44:23Speaker 3: Ever. I was always like Ali, sheety in the back. Yeah,
- 44:26Speaker 3: I'll take I'll take one. That'll be great. Yeah yeah.
- 44:29Speaker 5: So Boof was like I was like, that's a million
- 44:32Speaker 5: points for me. But the character I loved this time
- 44:36Speaker 5: around was the coach because so great remember him? I
- 44:43Speaker 5: know I didn't remember him. His lines were the funniest.
- 44:46Speaker 5: How he reacts everything is like so like he's so,
- 44:49Speaker 5: what's it practical, Like he's just he's like, yeah, I
- 44:52Speaker 5: don't know what happens, life is terrible. Yeah, we just
- 44:55Speaker 5: move on, Like it's just he's like, you're waiting to
- 44:58Speaker 5: lose whatever.
- 44:59Speaker 3: You know, And I love it. So yeah, he's he's.
- 45:04Speaker 5: Like the straight man in the movie almost like he's
- 45:06Speaker 5: just yeah, that's that's fine, you know.
- 45:09Speaker 3: So I enjoyed him.
- 45:10Speaker 5: What's his name, Jars?
- 45:13Speaker 3: Does he do other stuff? I feel like I've.
- 45:16Speaker 5: Seen him, but I don't nothing, maybe not like in
- 45:20Speaker 5: he's kind of be in some like eighties other stuff.
- 45:22Speaker 3: At that time. He's old. Yeah, he's got to be born.
- 45:28Speaker 3: That's forty years ago.
- 45:29Speaker 5: That's like Anthony Hopkins Now, Anthony Hopkins is more than nineteen.
- 45:33Speaker 3: That's true. I'm with you, dude. I also picked Jay Tarses,
- 45:37Speaker 3: and I didn't remember him being so great. It's like
- 45:40Speaker 3: the only time I've ever seen a coach played that
- 45:43Speaker 3: way before. It's so like he just doesn't really care
- 45:47Speaker 3: about the game really for the kids. Really, Yeah, he
- 45:51Speaker 3: doesn't really care at all. And usually you got a
- 45:53Speaker 3: guy that's like really into one or the other, but
- 45:56Speaker 3: just he doesn't really care.
- 45:58Speaker 5: It's it's believable as it's that's a high school He's like,
- 46:01Speaker 5: I'm a high school basketball coach.
- 46:03Speaker 3: Whatever, like have fun, do whatever, just do it, do it.
- 46:06Speaker 3: We're gonna we're gonna keep playing. Yeah. And my my
- 46:10Speaker 3: runner up would then would have been styles aside from
- 46:13Speaker 3: the homophobia. Yeah, and asking his friend to commit armed
- 46:18Speaker 3: robbery first for a keg. Look, that's just that's what
- 46:21Speaker 3: we all do.
- 46:22Speaker 5: Okay, it's fine, we all did it.
- 46:26Speaker 3: But he he was the most fun. Just the van
- 46:29Speaker 3: surfing's very fun. Yeah, he's just he's just a good
- 46:32Speaker 3: time and I enjoyed his performance. He's so funny. He
- 46:37Speaker 3: really is charismatic and funny. Love that. I love both
- 46:41Speaker 3: of those picks an awful lot. Uh, who would you
- 46:45Speaker 3: have picked?
- 46:46Speaker 4: I would have picked the coach for sure, drama all
- 46:50Speaker 4: my favorite lines in the movie almost like the drama coach,
- 46:54Speaker 4: the drama coach. I picked him for sure.
- 46:58Speaker 3: No Wolf, No, alright, no.
- 47:03Speaker 4: Despite his questionable relationship with the young lady next door,
- 47:07Speaker 4: James Hampton was pretty fun day.
- 47:09Speaker 3: He was great. He just seemed very loving. I did
- 47:12Speaker 3: like him very much. Yeah, typical dad, just great.
- 47:16Speaker 4: Just love him a lot. And then I really I
- 47:20Speaker 4: hate that his name is just chubby in this movie.
- 47:23Speaker 4: But Mark Holton, dude.
- 47:25Speaker 3: It's pretty fun.
- 47:26Speaker 4: He's pretty great and others more than this, but he's fun.
- 47:29Speaker 3: But just calling him chubby is such a book.
- 47:32Speaker 5: Everyone that and that's just a thing that what's on
- 47:36Speaker 5: his like I dye and that was fine then, you know,
- 47:40Speaker 5: along with everything else, they're like, yeah, fact, like for sure.
- 47:45Speaker 4: Can we do some version of his name or.
- 47:49Speaker 3: Just like just like guys I.
- 47:51Speaker 5: Understand big big chuck or something. I don't know, you know,
- 47:56Speaker 5: just a thing that isn't like chubbs.
- 47:58Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah it's But he was a big
- 48:04Speaker 4: adventure I think, right.
- 48:06Speaker 3: Dude, he was. He was the older version.
- 48:09Speaker 4: Of Still well well Still that's what I think of
- 48:12Speaker 4: the League of their Own, Yeah for sure.
- 48:15Speaker 3: Yeah, but he had some fun parts in that. I mean, honestly,
- 48:18Speaker 3: not a lot. But he's one of the only guys
- 48:21Speaker 3: that comes back for the sequel. Oh that's fun.
- 48:25Speaker 5: Which which tells which tells you it was good, right,
- 48:28Speaker 5: I think it was going to be He was.
- 48:31Speaker 3: Like, well, it's a paycheck. I guess I'll go. You're
- 48:32Speaker 3: called fat again for a while. Yeah, dude. And he
- 48:36Speaker 3: was like thirty years old playing a high school.
- 48:39Speaker 4: Kid like it was like it was normal. Then was
- 48:43Speaker 4: just like the smallest shorts of all time.
- 48:46Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like just no, please don't.
- 48:49Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's funny. That was kind of Oh, I
- 48:52Speaker 3: guess Mick was pretty good. Mark was pretty good. Pretty
- 48:55Speaker 3: good like a dick, you know, yeah, yeah he did that. Well, Yeah, he.
- 48:59Speaker 5: Was fun'd be a fun role I always wanted to.
- 49:02Speaker 5: It'd be great to play a bully.
- 49:04Speaker 3: Like that, just to be yeah, to be the bad
- 49:06Speaker 3: guy or something. Yeah. And the woman who played Pamela,
- 49:11Speaker 3: she did a good job. I don't love that role
- 49:14Speaker 3: very much, but that's a good call.
- 49:17Speaker 4: But she was fine. Also, Yeah, another part that didn't
- 49:21Speaker 4: age great. Mick is just like she's my girl, and
- 49:24Speaker 4: it's like, well she gets to decide, yeah.
- 49:27Speaker 3: And she did, but then how she decides it's pretty rough.
- 49:30Speaker 5: And then we're like, oh, we're fine, you can be
- 49:32Speaker 5: his girl.
- 49:33Speaker 3: Just like what what was?
- 49:35Speaker 5: We don't care what that was in the in the
- 49:37Speaker 5: back room. Who cares, right, I'm still with them.
- 49:40Speaker 3: I'm still going to the dance with him. Like what
- 49:42Speaker 3: I don't like but what.
- 49:44Speaker 5: But you're carrying our baby now.
- 49:46Speaker 3: But we're in love. I love it.
- 49:50Speaker 5: Great, good times like that.
- 49:55Speaker 3: Solid people. We agree. We all agree. It's the coach
- 49:58Speaker 3: Jade Tars's You Are You Are the Winner a delight.
- 50:02Speaker 3: Let's do a favorite scene, and let's choose the Dingus sodas.
- 50:08Speaker 1: It's quite simple, really, Dingus Dingus.
- 50:10Speaker 3: I could talk about my Dingus all night long. Yeah, favorites.
- 50:17Speaker 5: Honestly, it goes up with the because I don't have
- 50:19Speaker 5: a lot of quotes for this movie because they're just
- 50:21Speaker 5: they're like little things that are just kind of like
- 50:23Speaker 5: sure quotable, but it's just bits. But he has mine
- 50:27Speaker 5: and the it's probably when he's I mean the two
- 50:33Speaker 5: like when he's talking to him and he has his
- 50:35Speaker 5: like rules for life. That scene is really really coach,
- 50:38Speaker 5: so it's it's like he goes in line with about
- 50:40Speaker 5: how he's My favorite part of the movie. Like I
- 50:42Speaker 5: like him talking to the coach about the problems in
- 50:44Speaker 5: the beginning and then like his problems after and he's like,
- 50:46Speaker 5: here's my rules and they don't mean anything to what
- 50:48Speaker 5: he just said. I love that those two so, like
- 50:52Speaker 5: I was like anything with the Coach, but those two,
- 50:54Speaker 5: like the rules one specifically, it was very funny to me,
- 50:57Speaker 5: and I liked it more than I was, like there's
- 50:59Speaker 5: the surfing and stuff and the basketball hilarity and yeah,
- 51:02Speaker 5: but I like that one more. I think that just
- 51:04Speaker 5: actually caught my eye this time, so that's fun.
- 51:07Speaker 4: Yeah, those are for sure my favorite quotes. I felt
- 51:10Speaker 4: like I only wrote down coach quotes. Yeah yeah, but yees.
- 51:16Speaker 3: So much of it is fun and a lot of
- 51:18Speaker 3: it is the basketball like they're the montage. I'm a
- 51:21Speaker 3: sucker for a montage, obvious. So when he's just kicking ass,
- 51:25Speaker 3: that's fun. And then it goes on for a while
- 51:28Speaker 3: to the point where now you see his ego taking over.
- 51:31Speaker 3: He's like taking the ball away from his own teammates,
- 51:34Speaker 3: and you get all that. It's a they do a
- 51:37Speaker 3: lot in the montage. Yeah, I'll take a montage. I
- 51:40Speaker 3: love that, all right, it's great. Everyone gotta have a montage.
- 51:44Speaker 4: All I always think of the van surfing scene with
- 51:46Speaker 4: this movie first, for me, especially with Surfing USA underneath it,
- 51:51Speaker 4: because I love the boys back in the day still do.
- 51:54Speaker 5: It made me think how they could afford that song
- 51:56Speaker 5: but not seriously share it.
- 51:57Speaker 3: I was like, okay, they spent it all.
- 51:59Speaker 4: Yeah, they bought it, and they did it two or
- 52:02Speaker 4: three times. They're like, we gotta keep going.
- 52:05Speaker 3: It's fine. Yeah, is that okay?
- 52:09Speaker 4: But yeah, that scene is just wild and so unsafe.
- 52:15Speaker 3: No.
- 52:15Speaker 4: I'm always so thankful in those moments that I was
- 52:17Speaker 4: such a chicken my whole life, because like I would
- 52:20Speaker 4: never thought ever do that.
- 52:23Speaker 3: Never.
- 52:24Speaker 5: That's that's something happens when you're like cousin does it
- 52:27Speaker 5: like I had a cousin that would do stuff like that,
- 52:29Speaker 5: and then I would end up getting hurt because I
- 52:30Speaker 5: would try and do something like that, and then I
- 52:32Speaker 5: try to try to blame him, and then he became
- 52:35Speaker 5: he became his name is Bobby, and he became Did
- 52:38Speaker 5: Bobby tell.
- 52:39Speaker 3: You that, Bobby?
- 52:40Speaker 5: Because everything I would say, yeah, It's like when I
- 52:43Speaker 5: would tell.
- 52:43Speaker 3: My parents something.
- 52:44Speaker 5: I was like, hey, is this true, and he's like, no,
- 52:46Speaker 5: they did not put razor blades in the aerobi that
- 52:48Speaker 5: we threw back and forth and you caught it between
- 52:50Speaker 5: the He's like, no, you're Bobby did not have a
- 52:53Speaker 5: friend that had a hoverboard.
- 52:55Speaker 3: That's not real. I was like, are you sure? Yeah,
- 52:59Speaker 3: it was the TV. That's what happens.
- 53:04Speaker 5: Yeah, serious, Bobby.
- 53:07Speaker 3: Yeah, it makes me that love love that runner ups,
- 53:15Speaker 3: Championship game, Championship games fun fun him winning and winning
- 53:19Speaker 3: is as Scott. I did. Love that they just kept
- 53:22Speaker 3: showing and maybe they just kept running the same play.
- 53:25Speaker 3: But that behind the back pass for the layup, it
- 53:28Speaker 3: was the one they got. Hit it like six times.
- 53:31Speaker 3: Run it again.
- 53:32Speaker 4: Yeah it's working. Yeah we got that footage. Don't worry
- 53:38Speaker 4: about it.
- 53:40Speaker 5: We're still at lunch, just keep going.
- 53:41Speaker 3: It's fine. And the transformation scene is pretty hokey now,
- 53:48Speaker 3: but it is fun. And I love that his dad
- 53:52Speaker 3: is just like, open up this door, that we immediately
- 53:54Speaker 3: see him. That real great. I enjoyed that point of it,
- 53:58Speaker 3: and I think I was super cool at the time,
- 54:01Speaker 3: like the transformation, you know.
- 54:02Speaker 5: I feel like if the only way to watch it now,
- 54:06Speaker 5: as like a person who hasn't seen it in the eighties,
- 54:08Speaker 5: is to think of it completely as a metaphor, and
- 54:10Speaker 5: then you could be like, oh, yes, the dad's all
- 54:12Speaker 5: into it, the friends are all cool. Everybody accepts him
- 54:15Speaker 5: right away. That's cool, you know, and you're like, yeah, different, different,
- 54:18Speaker 5: it's okay, and you're like, that's good.
- 54:20Speaker 4: And it's funny because it could work for like, maybe
- 54:23Speaker 4: he is gay and that's what it's a metaphor for.
- 54:25Speaker 4: Maybe it's just puberty, you know, right, that's all it is,
- 54:28Speaker 4: self actualization.
- 54:29Speaker 3: That's what puberty was for me. Just hair started.
- 54:33Speaker 5: Yeah, fifteen, I was like, guys, what kind of razor
- 54:36Speaker 5: do you use?
- 54:37Speaker 3: What use? Yeah? Mine was crazy. That junior year of
- 54:42Speaker 3: college was something as well. Junior of doctor PHDHD.
- 54:49Speaker 5: Yeah, that twenty years of grad school to Tough twenty eight.
- 54:53Speaker 3: I guess this tough dumb. I also, I think the
- 55:00Speaker 3: dance is pretty fun. Yeah, it's so silly, but it's
- 55:04Speaker 3: so silly. Oh my god.
- 55:06Speaker 4: The thriller dance kills me. But I love Booth gets
- 55:11Speaker 4: all tender with him and he comes out of himself
- 55:14Speaker 4: and nice.
- 55:15Speaker 3: That's nice. I mean, of course I'm gonna love it. Yeah,
- 55:20Speaker 3: big time.
- 55:20Speaker 5: The dad confrontation with Yes the guy. Yeah, I was like, yeah,
- 55:26Speaker 5: this is a real problem. It was the only time
- 55:27Speaker 5: when it wasn't like a silly problem. I was like, oh,
- 55:29Speaker 5: that's a real rum. Yeah, ca And as a kid
- 55:32Speaker 5: watching it, like yeah, Dad's got it, you know.
- 55:34Speaker 3: He's got it under control exactly. That's I like that.
- 55:38Speaker 3: That's a good call.
- 55:39Speaker 5: My dad also had a big beard and red hair,
- 55:42Speaker 5: so he looked I think he did. One time he
- 55:44Speaker 5: tried to I thought he had red eyes because he
- 55:46Speaker 5: was like, you know, he pretended to be a wolf
- 55:48Speaker 5: and I ran away, but he was just messing with me.
- 55:52Speaker 3: He's yeah maybe yeah, oh no, yeah, not real. Love
- 56:02Speaker 3: that very fun. Yeah. If we had to pick a
- 56:07Speaker 3: I would be just fine picking all the coach scenes too.
- 56:11Speaker 3: That's a great call.
- 56:12Speaker 5: That's montage the coach scenes.
- 56:13Speaker 3: I love that idea. I did not think of it
- 56:15Speaker 3: and done good. We did.
- 56:17Speaker 4: Although funny that the dingus is not the scene where
- 56:20Speaker 4: someone's pants are unzipped.
- 56:21Speaker 3: We'll get to that more later. Did you get to
- 56:23Speaker 3: read this trivia?
- 56:25Speaker 2: Oh?
- 56:26Speaker 3: Someone hangs the brain in this movie. We'll talk about
- 56:28Speaker 3: it later. Oh good. I didn't read that, and I
- 56:30Speaker 3: thought I went through the trivia yea very closely.
- 56:33Speaker 4: It turns out to be a little bit of an
- 56:35Speaker 4: urban legend. But well, we'll chat.
- 56:37Speaker 3: Okay, cool, Well, before we do that, let's go into
- 56:40Speaker 3: some quotes, and let's show me the money, Show me
- 56:42Speaker 3: the money, show me.
- 56:50Speaker 5: Obviously the coach. The three roles that I live by.
- 56:54Speaker 5: Never get less than twelve hours sleep, Never played cards
- 56:56Speaker 5: with the guy who has the same first name as
- 56:58Speaker 5: a city. Never go near a lady who's got a
- 57:00Speaker 5: tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick
- 57:02Speaker 5: with that. Everything else is cream cheese. The whole thing starts.
- 57:05Speaker 3: To this cream cheese. Say that it was like, there's common.
- 57:13Speaker 5: Zero percent chance that was written in a script anywhere.
- 57:16Speaker 5: I feel like it's just like I feel like that
- 57:17Speaker 5: guy was a stand up or something, and he was
- 57:19Speaker 5: in this movie and they were like, just do your
- 57:22Speaker 5: just be funny.
- 57:23Speaker 3: I love that a whole bunch.
- 57:26Speaker 5: It reminded me of the the Onion does like an
- 57:28Speaker 5: ask uh ask me article, like I ask a advice
- 57:33Speaker 5: call him and it's always a different person, and it
- 57:35Speaker 5: was like ask a Navy seal and it's like, I
- 57:38Speaker 5: think my husband is maybe cheating on me and I
- 57:41Speaker 5: want to know how to confront him.
- 57:42Speaker 3: And it just goes into like what you want to
- 57:44Speaker 3: do to get.
- 57:45Speaker 5: Through the throat is like you want to use your
- 57:47Speaker 5: cave bar knife to has nothing to do.
- 57:49Speaker 3: It's always like completely resistance. They're pushing, you're gonna want
- 57:53Speaker 3: to It's tough.
- 57:54Speaker 5: It's tougher than you think you want to. Yeah, to
- 57:56Speaker 5: make a remote explosive, you're gonna have to put Yeah,
- 57:58Speaker 5: it's just unrumbly. So it reminded me of that, just
- 58:01Speaker 5: being like that has nothing.
- 58:02Speaker 3: To do with, nothing to do with anything, But.
- 58:06Speaker 5: You're not interested in me or anything I'm doing. So
- 58:08Speaker 5: that's as far as you can get.
- 58:09Speaker 4: That's a received you are not paying attention even a
- 58:11Speaker 4: little Okay, cool yeah yeah.
- 58:15Speaker 5: Yeah, like you I'm sure I'm going to take some
- 58:17Speaker 5: of your quotes.
- 58:18Speaker 3: Don't go for it. Yeah, yeah, but just uh, why
- 58:22Speaker 3: is he? Why is he? What is it? Drugs? Girls?
- 58:26Speaker 5: You know, I'd really like to help you, but I'm
- 58:28Speaker 5: kind of tapped out this month with help, you know.
- 58:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 58:33Speaker 5: And then the I R S Is breathing down my
- 58:35Speaker 5: neck like it's some personal vendetic against Bobby Flint's and
- 58:37Speaker 5: I was like, Bobby Fence talk, and I why the
- 58:39Speaker 5: I R S is part of like, I don't know
- 58:42Speaker 5: how any of those words came together. And I loved
- 58:45Speaker 5: it a lot, and my other one out I always loved.
- 58:51Speaker 5: I remembered it vividly that give me O, yes, you know,
- 58:57Speaker 5: just the face and the eyes and then he's.
- 59:00Speaker 3: And how.
- 59:02Speaker 5: Yeah, and how did how did he not get arrested?
- 59:06Speaker 3: After that? You know, nothing happened again.
- 59:09Speaker 5: But it's also one of the things I said that
- 59:12Speaker 5: probably didn't age well is from coach when he's like,
- 59:15Speaker 5: I know what you're going through. A couple of years
- 59:16Speaker 5: kid came saying the same thing you're saying, and I
- 59:20Speaker 5: was like, oh, he wanted to drop off the team.
- 59:22Speaker 3: His mother was a widow, all crippled up, and I
- 59:24Speaker 3: was like, okay, all crippled up.
- 59:27Speaker 5: She was scrubbing floors. She had his pin in her hip,
- 59:29Speaker 5: and I was like, he just keeps going. So he
- 59:32Speaker 5: wanted to drop basketball and get a job. Now, these
- 59:35Speaker 5: these were poor people. They were hungry people with real problems.
- 59:37Speaker 5: Understand what I'm saying. What happened to the kid?
- 59:40Speaker 3: I don't know. He quit. He was the third stringer.
- 59:42Speaker 3: I didn't need him. I don't know he quit.
- 59:49Speaker 5: He doesn't understand what he's saying, and he's asking and.
- 59:52Speaker 3: He's not even listening to himself. It made me laugh
- 59:57Speaker 3: so much. Anyway, I let's keep saying more. Coach fin
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: Stock ones, it doesn't matter how you play the game.
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: It's whether you win or lose, and even that doesn't
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: make all that much difference.
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: Nothing matters.
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: I also loved it's right away in the first game,
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: and it was the Dragons basketball coach who was one
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: of the cops in a guy thing. Yeah, and so
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: he apparently he was the coach of the Dragons, and
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: he says, you want to forfeit the game? He says, yeah,
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: what's wrong with that? He said, no, No, my players
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: have league scoring records at stake. It wouldn't be fair
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: to them. I just thought, figured you quit. Now you
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: can beat the five o'clock traffic. There's a lot to
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: learn from losing. All right, we'll play. If it's that
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: big a deal to you. It's that big deal to you.
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: And he also at the same game, the principal comes down.
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: He's like, it's not going too well, is it.
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: He's like, well, christ Thorn, look at the sneakers those
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: guys are wearing. If our guys had sneakers like that,
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: there's no telling.
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: What they could do. Incredible.
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: That's how I got what you got bugs, Thank god,
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: because I'm rapidly running out. Uh, let's play a little
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: ball here. Like I said at the top, is one
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: of my all time favorites. These Waves are Mine is
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: such a silly, fun little I love that.
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: Oh yeah, when when Scott takes over, he's about it,
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: which is really fun.
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: And the last one I had was styles you know
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: about a rash going around. He's like, why are you
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: looking to catch something?
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: I'm serious, Uh no, but you know mister Murphy the
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: shop teacher, Yeah, they got his dick stuck in a
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: vacuum clear just red.
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: Yeah, that's fine.
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: Why you're looking to catch something is pretty that's a
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: pretty great line.
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: That is good, like a lot. Uh yeah, I think
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: that was all the ones I have. Yeah, not a
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: lot of great quotes. Let's let's move on to bugs.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: Boohoom'm and there's no chance, right, I don't think so.
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: They do try and go there a couple of times,
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: but I would be surprised. I would be surprised. Yeah,
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: there's no boos in this.
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: Yeah, there's no chance.
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: We're on quite the streak.
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: He closest is leave my kid alone, Like he's a
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: good kid, you know, leave myself alone.
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: He's a good kid. But yeah, any immediately pants, it
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: takes you right out right. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: Well, let's go forward and talk a little movie at Tibia.
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: Let's start with the one I teased first. When Scott
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: sinks the final shot and wins the game. At the
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: end of the movie, he goes into the stands and
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: hugs his father. If you look immediately behind him in
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: a red sweater, there's an extra and you can see
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: that his fly is undone. Oh and so for a
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: long time there was an internet rumor that he was
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: exposing his set himself.
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: He was, you know, releasing the.
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: Hounds as it were, but in the in the unmatted
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: full frame version of the film, they revealed that the
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: extra is actually a young woman and apparently her pants
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: were just too tight so she couldn't button them, so
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: she had them unbuttoned and unzipped so she could sit
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: down in the bleachers the filming commenced, and then when
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: she sit up.
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: Later, she did that to like cover it up, and
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: the the.
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: Person that edited it is like, I wish I hadn't
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: done that, but it was such a nice scene with
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: all the movement, and.
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: She just thought people wouldn't notice. Apparently, so whoop.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: Who all.
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: But you can definitely see those pants are undone for sure, Okay, okay,
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: And so this is like when it's the slow motion credits,
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: happened exactly, interesting, exactly, and you'll see it's right over
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: his shoulder, red sweater, super down brain, that wasn't actually,
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: what's it? We're okay, all right, we're doing it. That's fine.
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: Scott Howard's house is located on the same block as
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: nineteen fifty five George McFly's house in nineteen fifty five
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: Lorraine Baines's house from Back to the Future.
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: That's fun. Wow, I love that.
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: That was neast I think, I said, Lisa Booth Marconi
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: Good Lord was based on one of the writer's high
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: school girlfriends, and that was really her name, and no
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: one knows why they called her Boof.
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: I was going to say, Boof is just the weirdesto
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: is tough.
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: Bos got off lucky when we talked to Chubbs, so
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: it's fine.
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: That's a good call. That is a good call. Then
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: in this town names.
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: The entire production only took twenty one days, which is
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: pretty wild to think about.
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: That's hair and makeup, so.
- 1:05:02Speaker 4: Yeah, right, the wolf transition shots were filmed last, so
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: that's fun. Rod Daniel says, Somewhere in the vault is
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: about an hour of the most embarrassing sports footage that's ever.
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: I love it.
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: I was like, there's no way any of these guys
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: are great at basketball, Like it's just isn't a thing.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: For sure, which is super funny. But yeah, so I
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: thought that was fun. I love that.
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: When Susan Ercidi slaps Michael J. Fox, she did it
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: too hard at first, and Rod Daniel had to explain
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: what a stage slap was.
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: We can put the sound in later. You don't have
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: to Yeah, it's okay, that's wild.
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: We'll write out of him.
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: Uh uh.
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: Michael J.
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: Fox disliked this movie so much that he refused to
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: return for the sequel. In an interview at the time,
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: while Back to the Future was in production, he lamented
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: Steven Spielberg's down the Street making great movies, and I'm
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: playing a werewolf.
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: I wonder if he likes it more now. I hope
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: he's learned to love it. Yeah, looking back, it's probably
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: still fun Yeah.
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: Yeah, but silly Rod Daniel voiced all the growls in
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: the movie, and he later joked and I didn't get
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: a nickel for it.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: It's pretty funny. Yeah.
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: Jeff Glosser was Michael J. Fox's double and apparently he
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: was a college basketball player at the time.
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: The college basketball player. Did you know that? Do you
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: know that name? Okay? I was like, I certainly.
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: That's something that that's something you might know, which is funny.
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: Yeah, weird. Also, when Michael J.
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: Fox and Jeff Glosser were in the in the makeup,
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: they couldn't eat solid food, so they had to have
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: milkshakes and soup the whole time, which is.
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: Kind of fun. Sad at the same time. Not the
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: worst thing. Yeah, there was a it was a that's where.
- 1:06:56Speaker 5: That's where the namestake and shake came from.
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: And I helped.
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: And since the movie was released after Back to the
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: Future in Brazil, team will receive the title Guarodo de Futuro,
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: which is boy from the Future there, even though that
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: has nothing to.
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: Do with love that funny. They were just like it,
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: it's the guy from.
- 1:07:20Speaker 5: That movie, which is just what the movie. That's how
- 1:07:24Speaker 5: they sold the movie, The Boy from the.
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: Future slash family ties, so fun.
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: He's tied to the future, Jerry Levine, wolf P Keaton, Wolfketon,
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: wolf P Keaton like.
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: Because because the I'm with you then and then they
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: played the song with the sacks and then it.
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: Was good sat Jerry Levine said. Decades later, he's still
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: known all over the world for playing styles and one
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: time a fan of the film recognized him at the
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: Western Western Wall in Jerusalem.
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: So that must have been oh, you know, it must
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: have been wild. Wow, my prayers have been answered.
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: Yeah, this is great right here, And it was really
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: him on top of the vand not a stunt man.
- 1:08:12Speaker 5: Was it really Michael j driving Because it looks like
- 1:08:14Speaker 5: he's driving.
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: Oh I can't.
- 1:08:15Speaker 4: He doesn't say that, actually, but he had a he
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: had a wire that ran through the roof up into
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: his pants and around his waist. So yeah, secured, see
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: because he had the fall. Yeah, it was still though.
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: That's pretty wide.
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: That's good, that's good, that's pretty wild. Michael J.
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: Fox had to have more security, like at the end
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: of the film than he did at the beginning because
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: he because of family ties him back to the future.
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: He just kept getting more famous.
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: Well, that's very funny.
- 1:08:44Speaker 5: Within twenty one days, it's pretty funny, you know what
- 1:08:46Speaker 5: I mean, and.
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: Maybe very including like by the time he got to
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: theater Express And yeah, that makes more sense because he
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: wouldn't know about it otherwise.
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: Okay, yeah right.
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: Apparently, according to Rod Daniel Win, test audiences first Scott's
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: dad as a as the werewolf, they went insane. He said,
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: the laughter was so loud it obliterated the next minute
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: of the film. That's not that funny.
- 1:09:10Speaker 5: I think things are just easier than you know.
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: You know that funny too.
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: I guess I don't know the whole thing, you know how.
- 1:09:20Speaker 5: They always say, like I just watched that a monster
- 1:09:24Speaker 5: at Green whole show.
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: God, I was watching that.
- 1:09:28Speaker 5: But they go into like what inspired movies and Psycho
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: is a big part of it, and how insane Psycho
- 1:09:34Speaker 5: came across to everyone that first saw it, Like how
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: like there's not really a scene and there's not very
- 1:09:40Speaker 5: like visually like it. You know, there's blood and stuff
- 1:09:43Speaker 5: that like showing statns nothing close to what they do now,
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: but people were like throwing up and screaming. And you know,
- 1:09:49Speaker 5: I think as time progresses each decade, it makes like
- 1:09:54Speaker 5: something is like more funny or I just feel like
- 1:09:56Speaker 5: jokes were way easier back then too, because you watch
- 1:09:58Speaker 5: all these eighties movies now and you're like, that's that's
- 1:10:00Speaker 5: real stupid and we were all laughing full house. Now yeah,
- 1:10:05Speaker 5: all the TV shows are.
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: Like what I wasn't even good now, But yeah, we.
- 1:10:09Speaker 5: Just get more sophisticated, like a fine wine society.
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: Yeah. The finest and the last one I have is
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: the Werewolf.
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: Makeup took nearly four hours to apply, but it only
- 1:10:20Speaker 4: took James Hampton thirty seconds to rip it off because
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: he hated it.
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: It made him feel claustrophobic. Yeah, get that a lot, right, Yeah,
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: they only had to really do it the right time
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: unless something got on the cutting or something. I suppose,
- 1:10:35Speaker 3: but yeah, I'm with you. I found a bit of trivia.
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I guess I want to know. Yeah.
- 1:10:42Speaker 5: So, what I think is funny is that they made
- 1:10:44Speaker 5: a sequel that obviously didn't do well, and then years
- 1:10:47Speaker 5: later they're like, we should make a show, right like
- 1:10:50Speaker 5: in the twenty fifteen is shit? Yeah, well that that show.
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: See.
- 1:10:55Speaker 5: I was looking through the cast and I was like,
- 1:10:56Speaker 5: where are some of these people from? And I got
- 1:10:59Speaker 5: into some of the cast and the team off show,
- 1:11:03Speaker 5: and there's like three of them that are all born
- 1:11:07Speaker 5: in South Carolina. And you know what the you know,
- 1:11:13Speaker 5: the nickname for South Carolina is.
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: No So I was just in South Carolina. Uh. And
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: I was at the airport, in the Charleston airport. And
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: the nickname for South Carolina that I then texted to
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: Chatham is the Palmetto State.
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: Shut your mouth, damn it.
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: I had to go to I had to go to Carolina.
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: Every future episode is like, God, I hope someone in
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: this cast is from South Carolina.
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: I know it's gonna be real hard to keep finding
- 1:11:58Speaker 5: because I can't do the same thing, you know, I
- 1:12:00Speaker 5: can't wonderful why every time I find when I laughed
- 1:12:05Speaker 5: to myself and I'm like, I cannot wait, like Christmas
- 1:12:08Speaker 5: the next day, kid to Christmas, I'm just like Santa came.
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: He sure did, yeah, which is in Santa's secret. I've heard.
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: Yeah, it's all yeah many times, many time.
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: Yeah, bring that Gallagher anyway? Stop what is never mind?
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: Never mind? I didn't find any trivia. But like Chatham
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: said for Judgment Day, they clearly made Team Wolf two. Yeah, series,
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: and then I think they even made a movie from
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: the series.
- 1:12:47Speaker 5: I saw Wolf the movie that was like the later
- 1:12:50Speaker 5: part of that, and I was like, wow, that must
- 1:12:52Speaker 5: have been I kind of want to see.
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: It was the TV show, right, yeah, it.
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: Was MTV production. But now maybe that was when, because
- 1:12:59Speaker 5: now all the MTV actions are insane. They're good, like yeah,
- 1:13:02Speaker 5: they're all like the tailor shared and stuff that you're
- 1:13:04Speaker 5: like when it starts like and like, uh yeah, I'm sorry, Okay,
- 1:13:10Speaker 5: we're way past broad rules, that's right.
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: The challenge is still going strong, though, which is wild.
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: Oh yeah good yeah wild, No more.
- 1:13:19Speaker 4: Real, But do you guys want to play a game?
- 1:13:22Speaker 4: I'm glad because I made a starting five for you too.
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: I'm gonna name five actors from a film. When you
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: know the film, you're going to ring in with your name.
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: If you get it wrong, there's no negative points. You
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: won't be able to guess again for that movie. However,
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: if their actors name is remaining, you can guess those
- 1:13:39Speaker 3: for a point each. The other person can steal if
- 1:13:42Speaker 3: any of those names are wrong. And all of these
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: films have something in common. When you know, the theme
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: can ring in at any time for a point. I'm
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: gonna about this.
- 1:13:51Speaker 5: I think I'm gonna be good this time.
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: I think I don't know. I don't know about that.
- 1:13:57Speaker 5: I've been so bad. I've been so bad the last.
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: Some of them are.
- 1:14:02Speaker 4: I would say it's about half and half where you'll
- 1:14:06Speaker 4: get it easily okay, and half that you'll be like,
- 1:14:11Speaker 4: what is that?
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: So we'll see. Half of that will make me feel bad,
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: So there you go. Number one. The first name is
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: Anthony Michael Hall. Number two, Sienna Miller, number three, Mark
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: Refelu mhm huh number four, Channing Tatum uh no. And
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: the fifth and final name is Steve Carell five four
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: three two. I think I should know this. This was
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: a drama. Steve Carroll had some prosthetics going on. Wow,
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: the rest of the wrestling one.
- 1:15:03Speaker 5: Fox Fox Fox Catcher, Fox Fox Catcher.
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: I'm going to give both of you guys a half.
- 1:15:10Speaker 3: That's good, tough.
- 1:15:14Speaker 5: Can I guess the yes saying prosthetic?
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: Use it is not?
- 1:15:22Speaker 5: That would have been a good would have been good?
- 1:15:24Speaker 5: Do I get to guess again?
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: Guess as much you want that, you can keep going.
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: You have another guess? No, that's fine. Wait, okay, I
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: want to know what's happening. Let's go number two. The
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: first name is Bridget moynahan. The second name is Tyra Banks.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: The third name is Maria Bellow. The fourth name is
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: John Goodman.
- 1:15:57Speaker 4: In.
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: The fifth and final name is Piper Pair of bou
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: five four three two one. This was the classic film
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: Coyote Ugly.
- 1:16:14Speaker 4: Oh of course that's why I know yer.
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: Now I know what it is. Yeah, I guess Chatham
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: with it's with the animal in the title.
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: It is more with a mammal.
- 1:16:28Speaker 4: What now that's a more specifically, it has to be
- 1:16:33Speaker 4: a well coyote fox.
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: Yeah, you're there, You're there, You're there, keep going. It's
- 1:16:39Speaker 3: not what it's the type of animal, the family of animal.
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: Just canine. Fox is a canine. Yes, they're all part
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: of the that does make sense. Then yeah, yeah, okay
- 1:16:52Speaker 3: canines and they're all right, they're part of the doggy lineage.
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: That's a good work. So I felt like that is
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: kind of half. That's a half.
- 1:17:00Speaker 5: That's a half because I couldn't understand that dog. I
- 1:17:04Speaker 5: thought their cat and dog they're.
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: Both to me. So yeah, so that's what makes it
- 1:17:10Speaker 3: kind of tough. There's some Yeah, there's not a ton
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: of these, no, So let's go to number three. The
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: first name is Alice Englert, but the second name, though,
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: you guys, is Cody Smith McPhee. I was just trying
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: to think of what the hell this is called. Uh.
- 1:17:30Speaker 4: The third name I wasn't is Kirsten Duncet. Yeah, uh god,
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: the fourth name got it?
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: Okay? Uh? Is it power of the Dog? The power
- 1:17:49Speaker 3: of the dog? That new one.
- 1:17:51Speaker 5: I was like, it's a spider is not a dog.
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: So I can't.
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: Think what you were about to say. Benedict three points
- 1:17:59Speaker 4: for that's so funny because when we said the theme,
- 1:18:02Speaker 4: I was like, oh, I bet the dog one with cumber.
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: And then you said I was like, no, it's great. Wait,
- 1:18:11Speaker 3: let's go. Number four. The first name is Kyle Chandler mhmm.
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: The second name is Matthew McConaughey. The third name is
- 1:18:29Speaker 3: Jonah Hill. I say my name, Yeah, you got you
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: got Wolf of Wall Street, Wolf of Wall Street.
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: Two names remaining, uh Leonardo DiCaprio, Yes, and uh her yeah.
- 1:18:53Speaker 3: Three. Nicely done. You guys, you're doing great. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:19:00Speaker 3: That That is for sure the easiest one. I feel
- 1:19:04Speaker 3: like they get a little tougher. Number five. The first
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: name is Anton Yelchin. Totally you would recognize Anton Yelchin.
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: I'm sure didn't he get ran over by the car?
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: Is that that guy?
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: Yes?
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: And has died now.
- 1:19:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: It was horrible, freak accident. It was like a Ferrari
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: or something. He did it himself. It was a it
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: was a total accident. Really young, he was really good anyway,
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: he was in the Star Trek. You could talk about that. Ye. Wow,
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: Sorry I brought it up. The second name is Ben Foster,
- 1:19:47Speaker 3: who we love. It was oh, Anton Yelchin, sorry, and
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: then Anton Yelchin Ben Foster. The third name is Justin Timberlake, m.
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: The fourth name is Bruce Willis oh Man. The fifth
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: and final name is Emil Hirsh. Yeah, I'm really three
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: two one. It's kind of an obscure movie. It was
- 1:20:15Speaker 3: called Alpha Doc. I never saw that.
- 1:20:19Speaker 5: I did see that. It was fun.
- 1:20:23Speaker 4: Where are we after five? Chandaman a score? I have
- 1:20:26Speaker 4: three and a half.
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: Uh, this next one is a little tougher. I'm just
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: gonna tell you it's not Uh, it's it's animated, so
- 1:20:39Speaker 3: it's just the voices. Okay, it's number six. The first
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: name is Willem Dafoe. The second name is Bill.
- 1:20:50Speaker 4: Murraykes Bukes, Isle of Dogs.
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: That'd have been good. That would have been good. I
- 1:20:58Speaker 3: didn't I didn't pick that one's animated, right, I mean yeah, yeah,
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: and it's that it's the same. Yeah, I did not
- 1:21:06Speaker 3: think of that one. And I'm pretty I don't know
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: if exctly.
- 1:21:13Speaker 4: Okay, So on that same kind of line there, Chatham,
- 1:21:17Speaker 4: we got Willem Defo, we got Bill Murray.
- 1:21:21Speaker 3: The third name is Jason Schwartzman.
- 1:21:24Speaker 5: Oh, I do know that.
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: I can't. I can't remember the name a man. The
- 1:21:30Speaker 3: fourth name is Meryl Streep.
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: Oh.
- 1:21:33Speaker 3: Yeah. The fifth and final name is George Clooney m HM.
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: The same director. It's the same kind of animation. Oh shoot, okay,
- 1:21:47Speaker 3: I just got and it is fantastic, mister Fox. It
- 1:21:53Speaker 3: is fantastic, mister Fox. That's a great movie. Actually, it's
- 1:21:58Speaker 3: really good. Have you seen that, Chattel, I haven't heard
- 1:22:01Speaker 3: of it. Oh, it's so good. You like it? I'm
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: sure I would.
- 1:22:05Speaker 4: I guess it's not that weird. But it's just like
- 1:22:08Speaker 4: cast that animated, which is fun.
- 1:22:13Speaker 5: I would like to upset them. Yeah, I didn't even think.
- 1:22:17Speaker 3: Of dogs is cool too, if you have, I've heard that.
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: Didn't didn't think available.
- 1:22:24Speaker 4: I think there's a period of time, But I did
- 1:22:25Speaker 4: think of this next one, which we'll see if you
- 1:22:29Speaker 4: get the first name is Christopher Plumber.
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: M m m hmmm. The second name is Richard Jenkins.
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: Number three is James Spader. I'm gonna be honest, I
- 1:22:44Speaker 3: didn't remember any of those people were in it. I
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: would have gotten it maybe on this next name, which
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: is Michelle Pfeiffer, right, but definitely would have got it
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: on this last name, which is Jack Nicholson. Chris me.
- 1:23:02Speaker 4: Yeah, Wolf, I did not call the greatest the greatest
- 1:23:11Speaker 4: scene ever. The mark in my territory is unbelievable.
- 1:23:13Speaker 3: Yes, I love it so much. And now what I
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: didn't remember James Fader, Richard Jenkins or Christopher Plumber.
- 1:23:20Speaker 4: Why those are three rememberable people.
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that's amazing. Okay, but hey, nice point. Way
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: to go. I'm doing way better. We'll go to number eight.
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: The first name is Charles Rocket. Charles Rockett played the
- 1:23:39Speaker 3: bad guy in Dumb and Dumber. If you're looking for
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: a face to the name, I am looking for that.
- 1:23:44Speaker 3: That the ex that guy. What if he shot you
- 1:23:47Speaker 3: in the face. Uh. The second name is ten two Cardinal.
- 1:23:55Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: The third name is Graham green Set's older brother. No,

- 1:24:11Speaker 3: Well no. The fourth name is Mary McDonald please shut up. Yeah, no,
- 1:24:20Speaker 3: I still know. And then the fifth name. The fifth
- 1:24:23Speaker 3: name is Kevin Costner Chris, Yes, dances with wolves. Dances
- 1:24:29Speaker 3: with Wolves. Another point, I didn't.
- 1:24:32Speaker 5: Know anyone else that you taught, but the name that
- 1:24:35Speaker 5: that would have made sense. So you should have led me. Yeah,
- 1:24:38Speaker 5: to be like, hey, back when they were right, dan real,
- 1:24:43Speaker 5: when I stopped latting people like uh, Wayne John Wayne
- 1:24:50Speaker 5: played you know different rings.
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: Oh yeah, they started there. It is I didn't know
- 1:24:54Speaker 3: what you were going to there, and I got scared. No.
- 1:24:57Speaker 5: I kept saying first Wayne in my head and it
- 1:24:59Speaker 5: was bad, and I was like, Swayne, you know, Bruce Wayne,
- 1:25:02Speaker 5: birs Wayne, Bruce Wayne Airport right here.
- 1:25:04Speaker 4: Okay, Yeah, it's good. Number nine, I'm winning this. I
- 1:25:13Speaker 4: never saw Barry stacked cast. However, Number nine. The first
- 1:25:16Speaker 4: name is Dennis Leary.
- 1:25:18Speaker 5: Oh Chatham, what chata is it?
- 1:25:22Speaker 3: My duck? Skip? No, it's the other one.
- 1:25:25Speaker 5: I know what the other one is too, never mind,
- 1:25:30Speaker 5: that's not that okay one.
- 1:25:33Speaker 3: Uh. The second name is Woody Harrelson. Okay, what a sure?
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: The third name is Anne Hash Okay. The fourth name
