- 5:03[SPEAKER_04]: America's favorite noon time talk show host is with you again today.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_04]: A lot of things in the news.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_04]: Of course, the weather has been a little wild this morning.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_04]: That rain was, it was a while coming down in buckets.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_04]: Rain in cats and dogs, I guess at one point.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_04]: Other things going on, I'm looking at Diane on here.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_04]: There's a sex-stortion case up in St. Lawrence County.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_04]: I didn't think we had that in our area.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_04]: couple fire trucks parked on a lawn and copenagan that somebody doesn't want there.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_04]: But the other big thing is up at the, up at the res, can I call it the res aquasos needy or macena with the Indians live.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_04]: Man, these people neighborhood vigilantes are going after that.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_04]: It looks like a nice house that they say is housing, a pedophile, registered sex offender.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_04]: And they went and they spray painted stuff and
- 5:54[SPEAKER_04]: tore up his lawn and tried to kick down his front door to the cops got there and I'm saying wait a minute I mean nobody's saying you're in favor of sexual abuse or there was some kind of investigation there I guess along with homeland security vigilanteism and you know people get worked up over that and you can see that in the national debate they can you know running around calling people pedos and everything and
- 6:21[SPEAKER_04]: perhaps in the process masking their own tendencies, but I don't know, I just, you know, I'm not in favor of people doing things that are bad, but on the other hand, this registered thing where people can lay siege to your home and all of that stuff.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_04]: I think there's a lot of danger in that.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_04]: Especially when it's level one level two, who knows what's on, if you're 19 and you're banging a 16 year old, you'll be put on a sex offender list.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_05]: Certainly not in Lewis County, but after doing her on the air Hey Jeff, I have a question about Congresswoman Tammy.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_05]: If she keeping something secret from the American people.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_04]: Not that I know of her.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_04]: Like what?
- 7:11[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know like you, there's a comment on your blog.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_04]: I don't, I, I would view the comments very quickly.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_04]: So if something slipped through this,
- 7:21[SPEAKER_04]: it's stupid i'm sorry there's been a long-standing rumor this she was born a man stop incidentally i saw Mrs. Obama on the air this morning because they're opening up that museum in uh... library and bought in Chicago and uh... she didn't look like a man to me
- 7:51[SPEAKER_05]: the earrings and a long hair in the dress.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_04]: Well, you know, this is a standard ML for you folks.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it is make this stuff up.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_04]: No, these people are not born as males.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_04]: If they are, they put on a, they sure did cover it up for a lot of years pretty well.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_05]: So, actually, this is a
- 8:17[SPEAKER_04]: That's a man.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_04]: Miss his boss, you mean the late miss his boss?
- 8:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_05]: Go back and look at them this show.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_05]: So that's a man with a wig.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_04]: Looks like Mrs. Doubtfire probably, right?
- 8:31[SPEAKER_05]: Well, yeah, real bad, actually.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, you know, and it's, they do it more.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, this, I'll about to tell you this next one, and you're definitely going to say no to this one.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_05]: And it's going to piss off a lot of people.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_04]: I got to get ready.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_05]: If your Trump is, well, allow me your Trump is one.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_04]: She's a man.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_04]: Damn good looking, man.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_05]: Not really, not at all.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_04]: Really?
- 9:04[SPEAKER_05]: No.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_05]: I always thought.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_04]: So what is your definition of good looking without being crude or anything?
- 9:12[SPEAKER_04]: Would Sydney Sweeney be good looking to you or is she a man too?
- 9:17[SPEAKER_05]: I don't really know who that I- the name reads about but I don't know who that is.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_04]: How about Jennifer Aniston?
- 9:27[SPEAKER_04]: Is she good looking?
- 9:28[SPEAKER_05]: Well, that's a trainee too.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_05]: So is Cameron Diaz?
- 9:36[SPEAKER_04]: Really?
- 9:37[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_04]: All right, sounds good.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_04]: Well, we'll leave the list at that.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_04]: old bunch of them okay well thanks a lot for your insight right by now well you know these are the people who entertain us on the hotline and uh... that's okay there's those is a well what do you like about it because it's entertaining is you know nobody thinks Michelle Obama is a man uh... somebody wants to know my any air tomorrow on June 10th of course we are
- 10:10[SPEAKER_04]: What if you get sick and you go to the emergency room tomorrow?
- 10:13[SPEAKER_04]: If your house is on fire, will the fire when you come to my room?
- 10:16[SPEAKER_04]: Do you want to buy some new underwear, McDonald or Walmart?
- 10:20[SPEAKER_04]: Are they open?
- 10:22[SPEAKER_04]: We'll see, yeah.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, this is one of what I call silly holidays.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_04]: There's the big sex.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_04]: Christmas, New Year's, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_04]: And the rest of them are pretty,
- 10:37[SPEAKER_04]: Pretty iffy to me.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_04]: It includes Columbus Day a lot of people like Columbus.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_04]: Let's get rid of that too.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_04]: But there are activities scheduled tomorrow at City Hall and I guess Saturday up in the park for people who want to observe the historical event during teeth from Galveston, Texas.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_04]: I think that's great.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_04]: I think cultural heritage is great.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_04]: I think it is on, but you know, we got cultural heritage on the same Patrick's day, but that's not a holiday.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_04]: about your weekends they like Halloween they don't get a rough with pay uh... you know there's all sorts of things that people might want off so no i'm not in favor of it i'm not on board with it but i'm not you know necessarily against acknowledging it if somebody called into marries as i just want to tell you a little bit about juneteenth and what it means to me out that's fine that's fine
- 11:38[SPEAKER_04]: Um... Well, I am, let's see what else is here.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_04]: You know, we've got a special audience when there's people in it who think Jennifer Aniston's a man, I mean, it's just a good god, good god.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_04]: Now, Copenhagen, I told you there's people mad because there's a couple of fire trucks, but they got quite a war going on.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_04]: I have fields and McCoy's down there, I guess, from what I hear, I guess there was some people that bought the cottage in, and some other people don't like them, I don't know why.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_04]: Usually when you don't like somebody who expressed that by just not going, but anyway,
- 12:22[SPEAKER_04]: The other faction, I guess, hired a guy to streak through the restaurant three or four weeks ago.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_04]: There's some children in every meeting, a meal with their parents, so the police were called apparently this guy got charged with endangered.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_04]: None of this is in the mainstream media.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_04]: And now,
- 12:47[SPEAKER_04]: I guess there's retribution against the restaurant owners, closing off snowmobile trails that they depend on for business.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm saying, what the heck is going on?
- 13:00[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_04]: What the heck is going on?
- 13:05[SPEAKER_04]: Well, let's see you out down in Louis County right near Barnes corners over in the town of Harrisburg.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_04]: They got a lot of money because they got all those windmills so that apparently they're ending their trash pick up or something and that's causing quite a stir down there.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_04]: They're taking to the streets.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I'll tell you.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_04]: I will tell you.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_04]: We got a message here from one of our readers.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_04]: well anyway we'll get to that so those are things going on in the area uh... harsh weather well apparently the reflecting pond in front of the Lincoln Memorial i guess it's uh... cleared up now that's sad news for many of you who were rooting for the algae uh... but uh... i guess they dumped enough uh... i didn't peroxide in it or something so i don't know
- 14:08[SPEAKER_04]: Well, here's somebody who says that the same guy was got on Facebook and started saying that his wife was a man to you got to take this stuff at face value you know it's it's it's lunacy Facebook is not a good thing on balance but
- 14:38[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, how about the guy, and I didn't read too much about it, but it was a headline and news junkie, the cops were chasing him, down by 661 factory.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_04]: That's the blue building, the one that purports to have 31 apartments in it.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_04]: Wow.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, when you look at that building, and people talk about codes, you might as well
- 15:08[SPEAKER_04]: If they got 31 units in there, that ain't safe.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_04]: But anyway, he was running behind that towards the river, fell down the river bank and broke both his ankles.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_04]: And got arrested.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_05]: Now I personally think the two broken ankles are punishment enough for whatever he did.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, that's something.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_04]: And of course now, we're going to have to pay to have those ankles repaired.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_04]: Don't mind people getting help with health, but not when they cause it to themselves like that.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_04]: I'll see what's best saying on their weather.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_04]: She says most of the tornado watches have been lifted.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_04]: She's wearing polka dots today, for those who don't have a TV.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_04]: 755-1240 the phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows um... oh assemblyman rubber smullen will be blends guest on the live at five today and remember he's running for the republican nomination for congress in the twenty-first district which includes a portion of Jefferson at all of Lewis and sent orange counties so mister smullen will be in on Glenn show we've had the candidates on here
- 16:20[SPEAKER_04]: And I've tried to keep it roughly, gleaming.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_04]: Mr. Smallons been on here twice, he called in.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_04]: I think Constantino's called in a couple times.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_04]: I know there are people who are trying to... Glenn told me they were trying to text me or something and ask, pitch me on another pair.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_04]: Don't pitch me.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_04]: Call in if you got the number, just call in.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_04]: I don't care.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_04]: You know, don't overuse the privilege,
- 16:47[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not going to sit there running around, you know, I try to keep it fair in accordance with the law, but I'm not running around as a booking agent for anybody.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_04]: So, you know, you want to call in, call in, and besides that, I don't think it makes it this point how much difference is there.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_04]: You know, that race is, I saw some polling data yesterday, but I can't talk about it.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_04]: So, um,
- 17:17[SPEAKER_04]: But I don't know, I, as we said before, that race is a turnout drill.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_04]: If it's extremely low turnout, as it is right now in Jefferson County, that helps smallum, because that ones who do turn out or the party regulars the Don Cruans, and they're all most of them are back in smallum.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_04]: If it's higher turnout, that's a different story.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_04]: So, we'll see what happens.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_04]: I try to keep you up on that race and the one over here.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_04]: There's a thing on news drunkie and I linked it on my blog to a debate that was done at Channel 6 and Skinactity between the two Democrats running in NY21.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_04]: That would be AMRL and from Lake Placid and of course, like, gender B.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_04]: So if you want to catch up on that, that affects all, you know, Eastern Jefferson County, then the rest of Jefferson
- 18:10[SPEAKER_04]: or the city of water town, the whole city is in the 24th, and there's a primary for democrats.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_04]: So if you're a democrat, you can go down to the county buildings today in early vote or wait a little polling place on primary day next Tuesday.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, there's a lot of people who always say, and when I say, well, you can go early, I don't believe in, I've really even voting on the day of, and they forget.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_04]: So do whatever you gotta do, but these candidates are out there working hard, spend money, and show them at least care.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_04]: Now you can say, I don't like either of them, and that's fine.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_04]: But you gotta look at the choices you have.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_04]: Simple as that.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_04]: Alrighty, 755, 1240, the phone number, and we'll be back with more in a moment.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_08]: Just don't say it often enough.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_08]: Thank you for listening to the station that listens to you.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_08]: The news in talk authority, WATN, AM-1240.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_13]: Take a look at your driveway.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_13]: Is it making the impression you want?
- 19:14[SPEAKER_13]: Cracks, pod holes, and rough surfaces don't just hurt your property's appearance.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_13]: They can lead to bigger problems down the road.

- 22:31[SPEAKER_04]: There is a concert from noon to start City Hall, apparently.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_04]: and then moves on up to Thompson Park or on Saturday, Thompson Park, Friday, and new to two at the City Hall, the flag raisings, no, no plans.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_04]: But a mayoral proclamation.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_04]: And if you got a couple of bands, the army bands going to be there from drama and then some of the local band.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_04]: And that sounds like a good time.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_04]: And then on Saturday, they got things going on up in Thompson Park, new to six bunch of vendors and all of that.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_04]: the angry man doesn't get angry again but uh... no it's good get as many people you know a place like the park as about unlimited capacity for people uh... so it shouldn't be a you know maybe parking at some point not a big deal but anyways two nice people are on them channel seven's new show let's hear
- 23:39[SPEAKER_04]: That's okay.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_04]: That's okay.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_04]: So go down to City Hall tomorrow at noon and enjoy the festivities and listen to the band.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_04]: And if you got time to go up for the park on Saturday noon to six,
- 23:56[SPEAKER_04]: better if we get the angry man out of there by then no already 755 1240 the phone number if you'd like to give us a hoot now holler today we'll put you on well you talk about whatever you want within the balance of good taste of course yeah that goes without saying yeah it's just a pet peeve of mine but
- 24:19[SPEAKER_04]: I wish this state in New York, a state in New York, you know, a lot of these agencies, regulatory agencies have these symbiotic relationships, like some of them have relationships with law firms, to facilitate certain things and others have, you know, a liker authority that got the liquor cartel as I call them, Southern and Empire and all that.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_04]: They keep messing delivery dates and then you can't get all of anybody.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_04]: Now, granted, you can go to the store and get liquor now on all of that.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_04]: But somebody should do something about the liquor cartel.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_04]: Like, get rid of it.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_04]: Get rid of this notion that some people have granted exclusivity of the market and charged whatever they damn well, please.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I would ask Director Fan, they're a little fan.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I'd like Director Fan, I think she's a nice person.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_04]: do something to break up that liquor cartel because it's not a good thing there's a beer cartel too somebody told me eagle beverages been sold is that true i haven't seen anything in the paper but they're out of a swiegel somebody said that she and spot him i don't know how to say because i don't know if that's true and uh... but it's a usually reliable source uh... let's see what else is going on
- 25:46[SPEAKER_04]: What's that?
- 25:47[SPEAKER_04]: To see that thing, it was on Fox, you won't see it elsewhere, but all the pride things this month, which is great.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_04]: I think it should be celebrations for everything.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_04]: But you shouldn't be forced, like San Francisco Giants, is that the baseball team?
- 26:03[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_04]: They're hats.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_04]: The SF on them is all rainbowed, and they want them to wear those.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_04]: And some of the players wrote a Bible verse on their hat.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_04]: Don't make people embrace the trappings of whatever you're celebrating.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you could certainly have pride night at the ballpark.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_04]: Nothing wrong with that.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_04]: But don't force people to do that and express their opinions their way.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_04]: That's where the whole flag thing at City Hall.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_04]: Some of the people who are against the flag were kind of out there.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_04]: But I think a lot of people said, I'm tolerant of everything, but we're pushing it in my face and everything.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_04]: So there you go.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_04]: There you go.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_04]: 7755, 1240, the phone number.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_04]: uh... somebody tax to be insidious ego was a legal beverage i think there's something that affects every a lot of the country businesses stores restaurants to bars to who knows who else and you wonder what's what's going to happen with a new company i mean the service at the go was okay uh... but uh... you get somebody in there and they're not dependable on their deliveries and
- 27:29[SPEAKER_04]: uh... they're pretty much a bygone thing but uh... i don't know so they so word gets out on this but they don't i guess the employees were notified a week ago about the customers yeah who that's a good idea right seven five five twelve forty the phone number if it like to give us a call will put you on the air uh... talk about whatever you want within the balance of uh...
- 27:59[SPEAKER_04]: good taste.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_04]: Okay?
- 28:01[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_04]: Now this company, if it's the one that everybody's saying as she-ins, they sold novelty brands like IPAs and weird things that weird names.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_04]: We used to do a little business with them because we bought Laga Needas from them from California, but then it got to the point they wouldn't deliver to smaller counts, so that was that.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_04]: That's the problem with a lot of these big companies now.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_04]: They don't want to deal with a little
- 28:30[SPEAKER_04]: and let yet the little guys are one buying in year after year so i don't i don't take the care for that anyway uh... in the beer business i don't know that's for security what do they carry legal uh... and i was a bush products bought by the light ultra which is a big seller believe it or not and then they've got the bats and the bats light uh...
- 29:00[SPEAKER_04]: No, something else.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_04]: Some other Guinness through other brands like that.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_04]: So, well, we'll see what happens.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe the mainstream media will pick up on that.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_04]: Well, let's see.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_04]: Senator Gillibrand is criticizing Trump on the Iran conflict.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_04]: Wait a minute, get home.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_04]: Wait a minute, get home.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_04]: Oh my god.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_04]: Now, I heard Prime Minister Karni on TV the other night.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_04]: And he was praising the agreement, said it was a great thing.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_04]: It was a game changer, the Prime Minister said, the rest of the G7 people seemed to agree.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_04]: So I don't know if it was a good deal or not, I'm not sure this whole episode accomplished a lot, but get it over with and get our gas prices down, right?
- 29:47[SPEAKER_04]: If you don't care what it was, nuclear weapons, we want under $3 gas.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_04]: and the price of who it is in the seventies yeah that's pretty good i'm gonna go on by a couple barrels today somebody said i like it when it was best distributors they are the laments i think owned it and that was over on now water street yeah those i remember when i won the laments i think owned it and that was over on now water street yeah those
- 30:23[SPEAKER_04]: I remember when I won mayor they sent a k-gover as a congratulatory president president that was nice of uh... yeah you know the old days in the beer and liquor business when you had salesman out there like a bobby la fiever something new their product and new how to sell it now they're just well if you see him it's just a handout a coasters of here take this you know
- 30:54[SPEAKER_04]: Now, what's this?
- 30:58[SPEAKER_04]: Memorandum on employees.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_04]: Wow, what this is.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, it's got to be known, right?
- 31:05[SPEAKER_04]: It's got to be known, right?
- 31:06[SPEAKER_04]: It's got to be known, right?
- 31:07[SPEAKER_04]: It's got to be known, right?
- 31:10[SPEAKER_04]: It's got to be known, right?
- 31:10[SPEAKER_04]: It's got to be known, right?
- 31:11[SPEAKER_04]: It's got to be known, right?
- 31:12[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, to read it.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_04]: What am I?
- 31:14[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, pay all of it.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_04]: Nobody pays me for anything.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_04]: That's a problem.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_04]: You mean like that's when you get money for like arguing somebody, gratuitously, yeah.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_04]: You know, if I say I had a nice meal at Pete's last night, that's not really pay all that because you're buying the meal, but you know, if you're really profiting, or I had a, or if a new place opens and you mentioned as or something, that's one thing.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_04]: What the traffic up with that, jump and go today on Crafine was bumper to bumper again.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_04]: I haven't been there.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_04]: So I don't really know.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_04]: I can't come in.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_04]: So anyway, 755-1240 is our phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the air today and we'll be back with more in a moment.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_04]: More in a moment.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, oh, spaghettios with the heck happened here.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_08]: get into it and you'll be amazed what you get out of it.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_07]: The temperature is up, but the prices are in the 20s and below in which a Gaudle sales they use car leader.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_07]: Right now, at 2026 Honda CRV, with low miles is only 19,088.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_07]: They have a 2021 Kia K-5 sedan, just 1999, the heat.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_07]: Wait, a 2019 Cadillac CT6 3.0 twin turbo, just 21,998, now that's real value.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_07]: Solved the new car sticker price this week by coming up to which a Gaudle sales to use car leader on Ado Washington Street.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_07]: Or online at which a Gaudle sales document is released.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_20]: Constantino won the debate, and the moment everyone's talking about proved it.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_20]: Trump endorsed businessman Anthony Constantino delivered a commanding performance against career politician Robert Smullen.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_20]: Constantino talked about creating American jobs, building a company with over 1,000 employees, and standing up to Democrat boycotts in political attacks.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_20]: All while self-funding his campaign to serve the people of New York's 21st District, small and appeared angry, defensive, and unprepared, but the most talked about moment came at the end.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_20]: After praising small and military service in his closing remarks, Constantino walked over to shake his hand.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_20]: Smallen refused, turning his back in front of the entire audience.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_20]: Constantino later said, if he can't shake my hand, how can he work with people in Washington?
- 33:40[SPEAKER_20]: The contrast couldn't be clearer.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_20]: On June 23rd, vote for Anthony Constantino.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_20]: He's Trump endorsed the job creator, outsider, and fighter.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_20]: He's nobody's man, but yours.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_20]: Early voting starts June 13th.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_20]: I'm Anthony Constantino, and I approve this message.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_20]: Paid for by Constantino for Congress.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_06]: Every day, someone walks to the mailbox.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_06]: They pause, they sort, they notice.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_06]: In a world that moves fast, the mailbox slows things down.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_06]: A message in someone's hand feels different.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_06]: It's not a swipe, not a scroll, not a distraction.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_06]: It's intentional.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_06]: When your mail shows up consistently, clearly, thoughtfully, it builds trust when it speaks to the right people.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_06]: At the right time, it builds response.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_06]: When it works together as a plan,
- 34:27[SPEAKER_06]: Mail isn't just paper, it's presence, it's connection, it's opportunity delivered.

- 35:36[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, I'm 1240, WATN, America's favorite meantime talk show is on here.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_04]: As we are every Monday through Friday at this time, and good to have you here.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_04]: Let's see.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_04]: Well, the weather was kind of harsh.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_04]: I'll big parade in New York City the next.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_04]: Lots of people on the canyon of heroes there and all of them.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_04]: He's nice to be up at a balcony looking down on it, not be among all those, the people.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_04]: But still, hopefully there aren't any problems.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_04]: You can have a million people and there's always a few.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_04]: But there's things like that happen, and somebody disrupts a nice event like that.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm not in favor of feeding people up or anything.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_04]: But I think the police are well justified in using a little persuasion on no step of people.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_04]: that I would origin.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_04]: We've done on a basis of race, color, creed, age, or anything else.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just saying if you're acting like an idiot, a little turn about as fair play in my mind.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_04]: Um, there you go.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_04]: 7-8-2, 12-40, our phone number.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_04]: And, um, yeah, the Aquasosni thing that was on Channel 7, that was kind of interesting.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_04]: I don't.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_04]: is that right?
- 36:57[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, how did they find out this quote, pedophile of there?
- 37:00[SPEAKER_04]: And who was he, what was the nature of the crime?
- 37:04[SPEAKER_04]: And all of that said, you'd have to know a lot more, but I think that's kind of dangerous.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_04]: It looked like vigilanteism to me.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_04]: Wouldn't that
- 37:25[SPEAKER_07]: Are you talking about that story last night at Channel 7 Head?
- 37:28[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, from Mark Wersus, and yeah.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_04]: That was a nice house, too.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_04]: Beautiful house.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_04]: I didn't, um, I don't know what the guy did or who he is, or anything.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_04]: They didn't really give you all the facts.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_04]: It's just a bunch of people.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_04]: It's kind of scary.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_07]: Did you see him marching up the driver?
- 37:42[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, the cops had to show up.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_04]: And then they were kicking at the door.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_07]: I think that's as heinous as his acts are alleged.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_07]: I think it's also a class reaction too because the guy lives in a really nice neighborhood.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_07]: So I think they're killing two birds with one stone there.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_20]: You're a rich pedophile.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_07]: You know, well, I could be worse.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_04]: It could be.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_04]: I just thought, look at that.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_07]: Nice.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_07]: That's, that's nice.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_04]: That's a mob mentality.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_04]: Get back down and be selling your weed on Route 37.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_04]: That's what I say.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_04]: They do up there.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_07]: They do that and they buy apparently they buy a lot of Yukon's black Yukon's for cash Because they sell a lot of cigarettes and dope Yeah, well, I know that the sopranos of northern E. Or something.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_08]: Whoa.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, well, I know What are you a hockey player?
- 38:28[SPEAKER_04]: It was always when I was in car sales for so long time ago So I can talk about it.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_04]: I mean there are always stories about Indians coming down or you know
- 38:41[SPEAKER_04]: I certainly had a bunch of money, but they put out a lot of cash, right?
- 38:45[SPEAKER_04]: And same thing with Jake sold his building on factory street, the Yemenis, or $1,000 cash, no problem.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_07]: Here it is.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_07]: So they can sell cigarettes.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, no it's a problem.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if it's a problem if you smoke and you don't smoke.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_07]: I don't smoke But would you rather pay 16 bucks for a pack from me or five dollars?
- 39:07[SPEAKER_07]: Somebody else I get it And I just spoke with a license dispensary guy today and know it's not the one in water town I just I know meant various people and he says my business is being affected by an illegal store And it takes the money out of his butt.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_07]: He pays into taxes.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's true of all of us.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_04]: I mean there's people running
- 39:26[SPEAKER_04]: on licensed nightclubs you i tell you is that's placed al open i don't think so okay but you know the fact is it goes on all the time and you know they want you're over modulating by the way they want uh the law to come in and do something about it because listen i mean the weed sellers here in town they're doing well aren't they the legal ones the legal ones of course they do it but they're paying at the yinging to the states based on the mandates based on uh well that's the that's the goal is
- 39:53[SPEAKER_07]: Of course, but as a result they have to charge more its quality.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_07]: It's all approved.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_07]: It's all done through New York State You don't know what you're getting at the other places, but they're undercutting their prices and that's Here's an example.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_07]: Let me give you an example.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_07]: This is what I told him today.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_07]: Could you imagine someone's opening up a liquor store without a license?
- 40:10[SPEAKER_06]: wouldn't happen
- 40:11[SPEAKER_07]: Well, you open a bar without a license or a liquor license?
- 40:14[SPEAKER_04]: It did happen in foul smells for few years.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_07]: Well, whatever.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_07]: But my point is, can you imagine, it can happen?
- 40:20[SPEAKER_07]: You can't say, hey, I've liquor store, wish a license.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_07]: They'll set you down in five seconds.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_07]: But you can sell illegal marriage or honor.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_07]: That's, that's wrong.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_07]: But what's the difference between legal and illiterate?
- 40:30[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, other than a state that gives you a piece of paper, really, that's what it comes to.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_07]: If you have a legal dispenser in the Oaks that you have to buy from suppliers in the Oaks state.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_07]: And the other ones are good.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_07]: And some people.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_04]: And some people.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_04]: that assurance of quality is a decider.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_04]: Other people who just want to get high.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_07]: And they just want to get whatever up and show up at a watch party in New York.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you're absolutely right.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, they don't.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_04]: They're seeking out price.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_04]: Or convenience.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_04]: And you can get people to deliver to your house or something.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_04]: So I don't know.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I just can't understand whether they're not cracking down on it.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_04]: Well, they have, but it doesn't matter because look at.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_04]: If you get pulled over for some horrible driving offense, the sanction they can use against you is that take your license, right?
- 41:16[SPEAKER_04]: Right, of course.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_04]: Well, if you don't have a license, what are we going to take?
- 41:19[SPEAKER_04]: Nothing.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, well, that, yeah.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_07]: Uninsured, to mean you see that all the time.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you all the time, yeah.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, the more you break the law, the more immune you are from the effects of breaking.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_04]: Like I agree.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_04]: That's why we're all brought up in nice middle class, uh, cookie cutter families.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_04]: They're, oh, you got to do this.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_04]: You got to do this.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_07]: That's why people with nothing to lose a more dangerous.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_04]: Exactly.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_04]: Like the guy who broke both his ankles.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_04]: What happened there?
- 41:43[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_04]: I haven't heard too much.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_04]: I saw a headline on news junkie.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_04]: It's bad for more for news junkie.

- 42:02[SPEAKER_07]: And good buddy.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, break up break the one nine proof that crashed the gate doing name.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_07]: Was it Conroy was his name.

- 42:15[SPEAKER_07]: You McCoy.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, yeah, convoy was in.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that was with Chris Christofferson and Alima Grove, by the way.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_07]: And Bert Young from from Rocky was in that.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_07]: More stuff.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_15]: I did no beautiful site.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, rubber duck baby that about the same time that song spiders and snakes without I can't remember Stafford remember that I can what I'm not much
- 42:40[SPEAKER_07]: I'm ten years younger than what do Ken's couple years old.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, I should know he knows everything about music He does so does Oz so does Lance Johnny to a degree although Johnny knows all the new stuff go ask Lance if he knows spiders and snakes You're scared well he's not here at the moment, but I if I see him I'll ask okay has it go?
- 42:57[SPEAKER_07]: Can you sing a couple of bars?
- 42:59[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I don't do I do too.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, sorry
- 43:04[SPEAKER_07]: Well, you'll have to, you'll have to look it up on the internet.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_04]: I'll look it up.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, guys.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_04]: Small and in at five today.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_04]: At five.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_04]: Good.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_04]: And be nice to them.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_04]: Glenn Curry there.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_04]: Looking forward to Assemblyman Smallen coming in here at five o'clock.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_04]: Right in his studio at that microphone next to me, and he'll be talking to Glenn.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_04]: So there, and the primary is next Tuesday, so it's getting kind of late, I think most people have already decided, but the question isn't whether they've decided is whether they're going to vote, because low turnout is going to affect one candidate more than the other.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_04]: So say the experts.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_04]: There are no Fred Dickers in Watertown, though, so there are no veteran political analysts who can give you a solid advice on this.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_04]: But after noon you're on the air.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_04]: Hello?
- 44:03[SPEAKER_03]: You're about a couple years old, I'm sorry, you can use another stand.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_04]: Go ahead and speak up, sir.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_03]: On.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_03]: In 1980s.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_03]: I thought a license was policy.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_03]: It's whole life, you know, so it's not the term life.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_03]: And the front-line of selling insurance, so then in 1999, I updated it to $50,000.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_08]: Right.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_03]: And my premium, this 1980, it's been $400 a month, every, sorry, a year.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_03]: So, and then I always had, like, minimal insurance, extra insurance costs.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_03]: and other costs and it didn't even amount of $100.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_03]: But since several years ago, they started increasing it was actually insurance costs to about $78 per year.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_03]: On top of the $400.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_03]: So I finally called it a insurance company.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_03]: I asked them why all the sex insurance is said, well, once you reach a certain age, if you would have read your policies,
- 45:20[SPEAKER_03]: It says that we can raise your premium, whatever, I didn't see you got my policies.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_03]: And they just sent me something like that.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_03]: Based on your stacks, age, and all that stuff, your fees can go off and stuff like that.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm not an expert in life insurance.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_03]: I just feel like that's not right, you know what I mean?
- 45:54[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I'm sure the tough could explain it, but I really don't.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I generally know what the mean terms mean, but not an expert.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you know, I'm paying $400 to $9.80, you know?
- 46:06[SPEAKER_04]: Now, who's, am I the beneficiary?
- 46:09[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, well, it was my mother than she passed away and not.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_03]: I got married late in life, and it's not my wife, but... Oh, okay.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_03]: So it's only most about $50,000.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_03]: I figured it out.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_03]: I've already paid them something like a 25,000 since then, almost.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_03]: And now if I live to be around 90, I'll be giving them another 25, 30,000, whatever.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_03]: Well, yeah, but I mean...
- 46:32[SPEAKER_04]: If it's a pilot?
- 46:33[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but if it's a pilot, you know what I'm saying?
- 46:36[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but if it's a pilot, see that they eventually have to pay off on...
- 46:40[SPEAKER_03]: Um, right then obviously you can't be just You know So some really paying them more money than they're gonna give me.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna give my Officia right mm-hmm and then that money's not gonna be how just it can be walking around money by the time knows that This seems like it's sort of getting screwed amount of what to do.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah All right Thanks, right now
- 47:07[SPEAKER_04]: I don't say it, you know, you either want to have the insurance or you don't.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_04]: You pay in it, I guess.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_04]: Some day we'll have Doughendor explain the ins and outs of insurance, as they say in the North country.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_04]: So many tax-in wallmarks and big box stores are way more important to beverage companies.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_04]: That's true, because they sell a lot more there.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it's like
- 47:33[SPEAKER_04]: You know, the on-premise says it's called beverage industry is a small percentage of the beverage industry.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_04]: You know, you just look at yourself, how many how many cans of beer do you buy in a establishment versus the number you buy at the store and drink at home?
- 47:48[SPEAKER_04]: So that's true.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_04]: But a lot of times, one, I can remember one time and this really got me.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_04]: And again, these regulated companies that have their cozy relationship, symbiotic relationship with the state.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_04]: But this is years ago, so the people are all gone.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_04]: But the delivery man got there and he said, I want to warn you, go through this box and check it against the invoice because they're putting a lot of items, slipping items into orders that you didn't order because they want to get rid of them.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_04]: And they're just banking on the fact that whoever's on duty will be busy and just sign for them and then you know they make it impossible to return anything, too.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_04]: So anyone who trusts the liquor cartel out of their mind, yeah, I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_04]: 755-1240 the phone number, if you'd like to give us a call to be on the air, we'll be back with more in a moment.

- 50:22[SPEAKER_10]: We're specifically buying so many cars in Florida right now.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_10]: It seems like those four wheel drives and those old wheel drives this time in the year is the best buys.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_10]: So come see me, Charlie.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_10]: And let me show you some of the kind of vehicles I've been buying.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_10]: Cars and trucks with great miles, great features and payments that make sense.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_10]: And here's the best part.

- 50:51[SPEAKER_10]: Here at FX Cooper, our family owned for 52 years.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_18]: Just got a testimonial from a guy, Adam, from Fulton, who would put through the ringer.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_18]: He says would 100% recommend the team at Stanley Law in the Syracuse office, been dealing with a workplace injury for over a year.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_18]: Sherry answered all my questions of how the Stanley System works, and in my eye, have gone above and beyond what I expected.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_18]: Moving once again, when we work together, we win.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_18]: Stanley Law.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_18]: past performance design guarantee future on constantly lovices.com 1-800-608-3333 in Syracuse and across New York and Pennsylvania.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_08]: The North Country spells news, M-1240, W-A-T-N, Watertown, depend on it.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_04]: It's a handout it indeed, A-M-1240 W-A-T-N.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_04]: There's lots of those cartels and various.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_04]: industry, I was talking to a guy, I know it was fabricating a metal and that kind of stuff.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_04]: And he's built like ramps, steps, he's most bridges, everything else for years, knows everything.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_04]: But some local library needed a ramp or something for handicapped access.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_04]: We support that idea, the ADA and all that, but
- 52:35[SPEAKER_04]: He was telling me, you can't just even know he knows what all the specs are and he might have run versus rise and all of that stuff.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_04]: He's still got to go in and get stamped plans and then he got to have shopped drawings.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_04]: And then you got to, you can build it, but you got to have, you got to send in an analysis of the type of aluminum you're using to see what they can see with whatever it is, chemical components are.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_04]: And then you got afterwards you got to have it inspected.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_04]: A lot of times,
- 53:03[SPEAKER_04]: engineering cartel doesn't really inspect it but they send a bill and it's just like that's why a set of stairs for a school district is a hell of a lot more than it would be for you know just somebody who knew what they were doing on the side and all these things and I'm not here to denigrate a profession or something because engineers perform a function in life but
- 53:29[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's just crazy amount of money we spend on stuff is stuff and I talked to a lot of people in the government arena and all of that and What goes on is incredible 755-1240 the phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the air today America's show of Anybody been in city hall lately I drove by and boy, it looks different all that stuff they're doing with the courthouse and all that and
- 53:59[SPEAKER_04]: It's too bad that when they did all of that, they just didn't put the police back down there.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I know, I know, I know, how was the B set that up?
- 54:12[SPEAKER_05]: It was city county cooperation.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_04]: It wasn't anything.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_04]: It actually all it did was basically make the police not a part of the community, but a part from it.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_04]: And then they all moved out of town.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_04]: So, you know, that type of thing.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, it's too bad with all that money spent at City Hall.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_04]: We couldn't have done that.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_04]: But the political will wouldn't have been there because, you know, how is that be, you know?
- 54:35[SPEAKER_04]: Is this, this town's not run by elected officials?
- 54:38[SPEAKER_04]: It's run.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_04]: You used to be run a lot by the media, but not so much anymore.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_04]: But still, agencies like Dan can all of that in the labor unions.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_04]: They kind of run things, not so much.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_04]: We like to think we run things.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_04]: But we don't.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_04]: It's just a, a ruse, if you will.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_04]: 755-1240 the phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of show is today and well did anybody see that on channel 7 up on the res I thought it was I was a little alarmed by it
- 55:16[SPEAKER_04]: And if somebody says you're alarmed by the whooping of it, they say, well, you just supporting pattoes, and then they start in about Trump or somebody, you're upsteering in it, anything like that, you know, they're obsessed with that in the rhetoric these days, and, you know, people like that get in trouble, get busted and handled, I don't know.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_04]: Like I was reading a story this morning, somewhere in Florida, some town hired a town manager,
- 55:46[SPEAKER_04]: Probably late 30s or something back when she was 31.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_04]: She was a school teacher She was bang in a couple of students or something and it got put flat out and all of that and but of course you still get on that List there like a sexual predator list or something.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think that's really fair at that point I mean, yes the people who jump out of bushes and grab a little kid or something and yeah, that's different But some of this stuff is like
- 56:18[SPEAKER_04]: Everybody here has a teenager.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_04]: It's 18 or something and maybe dating a 16 year old and unfortunately when they get it on, that's to get on a list.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_04]: If somebody gets their feelings, or if that is.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_04]: 755, 1240, the phone number, if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show, show us today.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I'm hoping I'm saying things that'll trigger some people here.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_04]: Then they get on the blog, you know, oh my god, I don't know my god.
- 56:48[SPEAKER_04]: There are people who are so easily triggered these days because of the rhetoric we have.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, look at those people that we're going to do the shoot out at the UFC event.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, there's people that listen to me right now or think that would have been a good idea, but why would you ever think that's a good idea?
- 57:04[SPEAKER_04]: Well, they get hyped up by the, you know,
- 57:10[SPEAKER_04]: It's like Trump said the other day, you know, for 10 years they've been calling me a Nazi and now they're running one in Maine with the tattoo to prove it.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_04]: So the rhetoric gets out of hand, no doubt about it, no doubt about it.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_04]: And let's see what else is going on today, um, only about three minutes left.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_04]: Don't forget Glenn Curry tonight.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_04]: He is your done-cune choice for congressmen in the 21st district, which includes a good chunk of Jefferson County and these current staphonic district.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_04]: So we'll see, we'll see, he's running against Anthony Constantino.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_04]: This hit, what is this thing I see people always come saying he's wearing skinny jeans?
- 58:06[SPEAKER_04]: What are skinny jeans?
- 58:07[SPEAKER_04]: I, it's been decades since I was thin enough to wear anything skinny.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_04]: But, I don't even know what they are when they use.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_04]: See, this is how out of touch I am with fashion.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know what they, I mean, these were in skinny jeans.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, what the hell are those?
- 58:23[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, maybe eyes would know.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_04]: Eyes, what's a, what are skinny jeans?
- 58:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, oh my god.
- 58:35[SPEAKER_04]: Oh my god.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_04]: No, you shouldn't be wearing those if you're running for Congress.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_04]: Definitely not.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_21]: I wouldn't think so.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_04]: No, they shouldn't have brought that top I got.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_04]: Wow.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_04]: Nobody here at the station wears them.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_04]: So there's no reason for them too, really.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_04]: I guess you'd only wear something like that if it was good reason.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_04]: uh... seven five five twelve forty is our phone number if you'd like to be on the show of shows today and uh... will put you on the air talk about whatever you want uh... got about a minute left i don't think it be aware of the weather today there's wind and rain and in some areas some real severe weather that seems to have subsided according to Beth hall uh... but i'll wait to later in the afternoon and get the real story from kerry cheever
- 59:19[SPEAKER_04]: Um, but in any event, um, whatever the weather is doing, be careful and be cognizant of it wherever you go.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_04]: You know, her, for a year or so and happened often up here, but the right conditions or anything can happen, or you might get localized flooding, it was raining like a, whatever this morning.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I was inside, but it happened so I didn't care.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_04]: And it looks like it's okay outside right now.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_04]: Alright, okay.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, listen.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_04]: It's been a pleasure today.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_04]: We've had a good show a lot of topics and I want to remind you, you're listening to the hotline and you're doing it on a community broadcast to station.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_04]: We are of course, I'm 1240 WATN.
