Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: It's your early morny praise party. I am Sherry macke.
- 0:03Speaker 1: It's time for today's word. From roots to victory, From
- 0:09Speaker 1: roots to victory, the Word of the Lord says in
- 0:13Speaker 1: Colossians two seven. Let your roots grow down into him,
- 0:17Speaker 1: and let your lives be built on him. Then your
- 0:21Speaker 1: faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught,
- 0:24Speaker 1: and you will overflow with thankfulness. When we look at
- 0:29Speaker 1: Joseph's life, it's clear that his journey wasn't easy. Think
- 0:33Speaker 1: about it. Sold into slavery by his own brothers, falsely
- 0:37Speaker 1: accused by his master's wife, left in prison for thirteen
- 0:42Speaker 1: long years, Joseph had every reason to grow bitter and
- 0:46Speaker 1: give up. Yet instead of letting the pain define him,
- 0:49Speaker 1: he let his roots grow deeper in God. With every setback,
- 0:54Speaker 1: his faith went down further into the soil of God's promises.
- 0:58Speaker 1: What look like wasted years were actually years of preparation.
- 1:02Speaker 1: God was building in him the strength, the wisdom, and
- 1:06Speaker 1: the character for the incredible destiny ahead. Joseph's story reminds
- 1:12Speaker 1: us that the pit is not permanent and the present
- 1:17Speaker 1: is not your final stop. God destined Joseph for the Palace,
- 1:22Speaker 1: and the same is true for you. Maybe you face disappointment,
- 1:25Speaker 1: you face betrayal, or a season that feels unfair. Perhaps
- 1:30Speaker 1: you're waiting for healing, for restoration, or for a dream
- 1:33Speaker 1: to be revived. Right now, it may feel like you're buried,
- 1:37Speaker 1: but in reality, you're being planted. And when your roots
- 1:40Speaker 1: are deep in Christ, no storm can uproot you, no
- 1:44Speaker 1: delay can cancel your purpose, and no enemy can keep
- 1:47Speaker 1: you from what God has ordained. Staying rooted means choosing
- 1:52Speaker 1: faith when it would be easier to give up. It
- 1:54Speaker 1: means trust in God's timing when the waiting feels endless,
- 1:58Speaker 1: and it means believing that what He promise will come
- 2:01Speaker 1: to pass. Joseph. Joseph went from the pit to the
- 2:04Speaker 1: prison and eventually to the palace. You too will see
- 2:08Speaker 1: God's hand lift you, promote you, and establish you. The
- 2:14Speaker 1: palace may look far away right now, but your roots
- 2:17Speaker 1: are growing, your faith is being strengthened, and your destiny
- 2:22Speaker 1: is unfolding. God has the final say, and nothing and
- 2:27Speaker 1: no one can stop His plan for your life. Father God,
- 2:32Speaker 1: thank you that our roots grow deeper in you through
- 2:36Speaker 1: every season. Thank You that no pit, no prison, no disappointment,
- 2:40Speaker 1: and no enemy can cancel the destiny that you have
- 2:44Speaker 1: prepared for us. God, we choose to trust you. We
- 2:47Speaker 1: choose to stay planet in faith and to believe that
- 2:50Speaker 1: you are leading us toward our palace, our place of
- 2:54Speaker 1: victory in Jesus' name. Hey, now that's your word for today.
- 3:00Speaker 1: It applied to your everyday life and you continue to
- 3:02Speaker 1: be encouraged and inspired. It's your Early Boddy Praise Party.
- 3:05Speaker 1: I am Sherry Mackie.
