- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
- 0:04Ever since the US Virgin Islands thought it would be
- 0:07a good idea for them to try to secure a bag,
- 0:10it's been my opinion that the survivors should sue the
- 0:14US Virgin Islands the same way that they sued JP Morgan.
- 0:18And now finally that is occurring, and in this episode
- 0:21we have some of the details about that lawsuit. So
- 0:25let's dive into this article from the Rome News Tribune
- 0:29and let's get ourselves caught up. This article was originally
- 0:32posted in the Virgin Island Daily News. The author of
- 0:36this article is Suzanne Carlson. A new lawsuit filed by
- 0:42five survivors of Jeffrey Epstein contains bombshell allegations against the
- 0:48Virgin Islands government and officials like former First Lady Cecil DeJong,
- 0:53who was accused of doing nothing while Epstein raped a
- 0:56woman in the next room. So this is the kind
- 0:59of thing I've been talking about for years. How is
- 1:02it that the US Virgin Islands, who let all of
- 1:05this go down in the first place, is in line
- 1:08to get themselves a bag. How are they getting any
- 1:11kind of financial compensation when they were enabling this behavior
- 1:16from Jump Street, and finally the survivors are calling them
- 1:19out for this bullshit, because let's remember, at the end
- 1:22of the day, the survivors are the ones who suffered
- 1:26at the hands of not only Epstein but also all
- 1:28of his little bitch ass buddies that were in government.
- 1:33And how many times have we went through the evidence
- 1:35and pointed out that the US Virgin Islands is neck
- 1:39deep in all of this, and it's audacious for them
- 1:43or anyone else to think that they, meaning the US
- 1:46Virgin Islands, should be in line for any sort of money.
- 1:49It is just one of the most absurd things that
- 1:51I have ever seen or heard in my life. And
- 1:54that's why I was banging the drum for so long
- 1:56about the survivors getting together or one of them and
- 2:00ensuing the US Virgin Islands. And it would seem to
- 2:02me that if I was one of the survivors, that
- 2:05my pain and suffering would be worth about two hundred
- 2:08and ninety million. The survivor's lawsuit includes allegations about conduct
- 2:13that occurred between two thousand and one and twenty and nineteen,
- 2:17nearly the entire two decades that Epstein lived in the
- 2:21Virgin Islands. Epstein died by suicide allegedly in a Manhattan
- 2:25jail cell in August of twenty nineteen, while awaiting trial
- 2:29on new charges. The lawsuit paints a grim picture of
- 2:33a territory sometimes referred to as America's Paradise, where Epstein's
- 2:38victims would be removed from their families, friends and loved
- 2:42ones and be completely isolated. But nobody knew what was
- 2:45going on. None of these politicians that were taking Epstein's
- 2:49money had any idea, Not Stacy Plasket, not Cecial DeJong,
- 2:54not the local Democratic Party, nobody. I mean it's not
- 2:58like he was a registered sex offender anything like that, right,
- 3:02So all of these stupid ass excuses that they use,
- 3:05all of these dumbass oh, I didn't know they're lying
- 3:08to you. They knew, they didn't care. According to the
- 3:12thirty seven page complaint filed Wednesday in US District Court
- 3:16for the Southern District of New York, Epstein did not
- 3:19act alone. No, he did not. And the sooner everybody
- 3:23realizes that, the better off we're going to be, and
- 3:26the sooner people stopped protecting their faves, the sooner will
- 3:29have justice but unfortunately the powers that be, and there
- 3:33are propagandists in the news, they'd rather just pitch you
- 3:36a bullshit scenario, a bullshit narrative about how everybody had
- 3:40no idea what Jeffrey Epstein was up to, except for
- 3:43all the workers at the airport, except for everybody else around,
- 3:47the politicians, around the power players, So only those people
- 3:51knew what was going on. None of the smartest people
- 3:54in the room had any idea. Okay, I guess. In
- 3:58addition to Miss DeJong and the government, the list of
- 4:01defendants includes former Governors John Dejeong Junior and Kenneth Mapp,
- 4:06former Senators Celestino White Senior and Carlton Doe, VI Delegate
- 4:11to Congress Dacy Plaskett, and VI Attorney General Vincent Fraser.
- 4:17There are also one hundred unnamed John Doe defendants, including
- 4:20law enforcement officers who are accused of turning a blind
- 4:24eye to Epstein's crimes. So over one hundred John does
- 4:28can you imagine whose names are named inside of this lawsuit?
- 4:33The class action lawsuit identifies the current plaintiffs as Jane
- 4:37Doe one through Jane Doe five, and the victims are
- 4:40asking the court to proceed anonymously and use pseudonyms. The
- 4:45class consists of dozens of women, and the identities of
- 4:48other class members can be found in records maintained by
- 4:51Epstein's estate. According to the lawsuit, this is some of
- 4:54the greatest news ever. The fact that the US Virgin
- 4:57Islands is actually getting sued now and that they're going
- 4:59to to actually have to defend their bullshit is just
- 5:03fantastic because remember, without the US Virgin Islands, without the
- 5:08politicians in the US Virgin Islands, Jeffrey Epstein would have
- 5:12been nowhere near as successful as he was doing what
- 5:16he did. So all of these politicians who are now
- 5:19crying that the US Virgin Islands was victimized, they have
- 5:23a lot of nerve. And the fact that people were
- 5:26down with it and people were like, yeah, you know what,
- 5:29the US Virgin Islands, they're a victim. Here shows you
- 5:32the people that have no idea what they're talking about
- 5:35when it comes to this case, and my friends, there
- 5:39are many of them. When it comes to Epstein and
- 5:42when it comes to Maxwell, the grift is real. Much
- 5:47of the information in the new lawsuit was taken from
- 5:50depositions of the Virgin Islands government officials during litigation that
- 5:55the VI Justice Department initiated against JP Morgan Chase that complaint.
- 6:00The government said bank officials violated the Trafficking Victims Protection
- 6:04Act by failing to report Epstein's suspiciously large cash transactions
- 6:10which he was using to pay victims and others involved
- 6:12in the conspiracy, such as pilots and politicians. So imagine
- 6:17all of this stuff coming out in court documents and
- 6:19nobody getting arrested, no indictments, certainly no convictions, but yeah,
- 6:25justice is equitable. The federal law allows victims to file
- 6:29suit against any person who knowingly benefits from participating in
- 6:33a venture that they knew or should have known violated
- 6:36the laws against sex trafficking. So that's every single person
- 6:40that was ever with Epstein, every person who's ever partied
- 6:43with them, every person who's ever had a woman, all
- 6:46of it. They're all culpable, and they should all be
- 6:49arrested and all of them should be thrown in prison,
- 6:52or they should be publicly shamed after they're given a
- 6:55suspended sentence or whatever the law prescribes for them, because
- 7:00is enough. Government officials claim that the lawsuit against JP
- 7:04Morgan was filed for the benefit of Epstein's survivors. Yeah, okay, sure,
- 7:08what did I tell you? Then? Epstein survivors aren't gonna
- 7:12benefit one bit from that deal. You know how they
- 7:14would have benefited if you would have went after people criminally,
- 7:18but instead it was a SECO case. And that was
- 7:20all because this whole thing was designed for the US
- 7:23Virgin Islands to profit on both ends. That's what it
- 7:26comes down to. Just like a mob boss, I'm gonna
- 7:29profit in the beginning and I'll profit at the end.
- 7:32And that's exactly what the US Virgin Islands did. And
- 7:35the saddest part is they reached their hands into the
- 7:39survivor's bag to do it. The defendants actively and knowingly
- 7:43concealed their actions for many years, and it wasn't until
- 7:47the JP Morgan lawsuit that the plaintiffs and public learned
- 7:51of the many acts committed by the defendants. According to
- 7:54the lawsuit, well, if you've been listening to this podcast,
- 7:57you already know and buying their bullshit from Jump Street?
- 8:01What did I tell you the second that that SECO
- 8:04suit was filed and here we are. I mean, you
- 8:07don't have to be the oracle of Delphi to read
- 8:10these tea leaves. This was nothing more than a cash
- 8:13grab from Jump Street. Because if it was something else,
- 8:16then these politicians who were involved, these politicians who gave
- 8:19Jeffrey Epstein aid and comfort and gave him their assistance,
- 8:24every single one of them should be called on the
- 8:26carpet and every single one of them should have to
- 8:29answer under oath about their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. A
- 8:34number of those acts were committed by a First Lady DeJong,
- 8:37acting within the actual and apparent scope of her office
- 8:41to further the USVII and Epstein's interests, according to the lawsuit,
- 8:46and that's a fact one hundred percent that happened. Epstein
- 8:50employed DeJong as his longtime office manager. During her deposition
- 8:54in the JP. Morgan case, Dejean claimed to have not
- 8:57known anything about Epstein's crimes. No I knew nothing at all, blind,
- 9:04death and certainly dumb. Unfortunately for these bozos, you're nothing
- 9:11of the sort. And all of you out there that
- 9:14have been following along, you all know the deal. The
- 9:17emails I get from you tells the story. You all
- 9:20know the deal here. You all know what happened, and
- 9:22you all know that this is nothing more than a
- 9:25straight up disgusting grab for cash, and finally somebody's gonna
- 9:29step in here once again. It has to be the
- 9:32survivors themselves, unfortunately, but it had to be done. We're
- 9:37just gonna sit back and let the US Virgin Islands
- 9:39collect all this money standing on the shoulders of these
- 9:42abused girls. How could anyone ever find that to be okay?
- 9:47The new lawsuit says that's not true. Around two thousand
- 9:50and three or two thousand and four, Epstein brought Jane
- 9:53do four to his office in Red Hook on Saint Thomas,
- 9:57according to the lawsuit. Inside his office, Epstein raped her
- 10:01over the desk. The brutal assault lasted about ten minutes,
- 10:04according to the lawsuit. When Epstein was finished, they left
- 10:08through a door where a defendant to Seal DeJong was sitting.
- 10:12Given her proximity, DeJong heard the sexual assault, yet she
- 10:16looked at Jane do four, straightened her eyes from her desk,
- 10:19and did nothing at the time or any time afterwards.
- 10:23According to the lawsuit, given her proximity, it would have
- 10:26been impossible for her not to have heard the sexual assault,
- 10:30and she did nothing with that information. At the time.
- 10:33Can you imagine. I mean, I'm not mister tough guy
- 10:36or anything like that, but if I'm sitting in a
- 10:38room and I hear a violent sexual assault, You're not
- 10:41gonna have to worry about the cops showing up to arrescue.
- 10:44It's gonna be the ambulance coming because I'm coming in
- 10:47that room and I'm gonna break your fucking face. But
- 10:50what did these cowards do down in the USVII. They
- 10:54didn't do that, did they. In fact, they helped prolong
- 10:57the abuse. In fact, they helped ans it. With the
- 11:01help of the Virgin Islands government, Epstein built what was,
- 11:05by many accounts, the most powerful and wealthy sex trafficking
- 11:09venture ever created, according to the lawsuit, which accuses local
- 11:13leaders of negligence and aiding and abetting Epstein's crimes. According
- 11:18to the victim's lawsuit, the adventure had everything a sex
- 11:21trafficking organization needed, including funding and a place to operate
- 11:26openly and without fear of interference or oversight, and complicit laws, employees,
- 11:31and government. All five victims were solicited by Epstein in
- 11:36New York and transported from New York to the USVII
- 11:40an held captive, then abused in the USVII at Epstein's estate.
- 11:44According to the complaint, The lawsuit accuses Virgin Island officials
- 11:49of protecting Epstein in exchange for money and favors, even
- 11:54after he pleaded guilty to sexually abusing underage girls in
- 11:58Florida in two thousand and eight. So they don't even
- 12:01have the excuse of saying, I don't know the guy
- 12:03was already a convicted sex offender. How are you going
- 12:06to try and tell me you don't know, you knew,
- 12:09you didn't care. Epstein was ordered to register as a
- 12:13sex offender following his release from prison, but the complaint
- 12:17claims Virgin Islands government officials agreed to grant him special
- 12:21treatment so he could continue to travel freely with young women.
- 12:26In exchange for their assistance, Epstein gave payments, advice, and
- 12:30other benefits to the highest USVI government officials, According to
- 12:34the lawsuit, which includes several incidents previously detailed in the JP.
- 12:39Morgan case, on one occasion, when the USVI government was
- 12:44desperate for money, USVII officials affirmatively and directly solicited Epstein's assistance.
- 12:51Epstein worked with both the sitting and former USVI governor
- 12:55on a plan to secure cash by extending it a
- 12:58fifty million dollar loan collateralized by USVII Islands. According to
- 13:03the complaint, Miss DeJong suggested Epstein put Senator Celestino White
- 13:08on a monthly retainer to obtain government loyalty and access,
- 13:13and directed payments from Epstein to political candidates. According to
- 13:17the complaint, all of that is true. All of that
- 13:20is true and known, and we have known it for
- 13:22a long time, and finally somebody else is talking about it.
- 13:26But what does that say about the legacy media? That
- 13:29my dumbass has been telling you this for how long?
- 13:31And I'm certainly not a journalist, but I've been telling
- 13:34you this for how long? And now finally it takes
- 13:38the survivors themselves to file a lawsuit for people to
- 13:41pay attention. How many times do we have to lap
- 13:44the legacy media here on the podcast? Epstein also freely
- 13:50loaned the Djong family money after Governor de Jong was
- 13:53charged in twenty fifteen with using five hundred thousand dollars
- 13:57in public money for improvements to a private home, and
- 14:01DeJong resolved the case by paying a three hundred and
- 14:04eighty thousand dollars settlement without admitting wrongdoing by successfully borrowing
- 14:09two hundred and fifteen thousand from Epstein to pay the settlement.
- 14:12According to the complaint, well isn't that nice. Let me
- 14:16just borrow some money from Epstein? You know, cool three
- 14:19hundred and eighty grand, even though he's a sex offender.
- 14:21But I had no idea who he was. His money
- 14:24was good, though, right, That money sure was great when
- 14:27it hit your bank account. Just ask Stacey Plaskett. Plaskett
- 14:32was deposed as part of the government's lawsuit against JP
- 14:35Morgan and was forced to admit that she had met
- 14:38privately with Epstein at his home in New York to
- 14:42ask him for money, information she had not previously shared
- 14:45with the public. What else is she hiding? Now? You
- 14:48see my big problem with her sitting on the January
- 14:51sixth committee. They couldn't find nobody else to do it. Now, look,
- 14:54if you want to have your committee, that's fine, do
- 14:57what you want to do, But why do you have
- 14:59Stacey Plaskett sitting on it? And do you really think
- 15:01that nobody's gonna call that out? Nobody's gonna have a
- 15:04problem with that. And remember this is an innuendo about
- 15:08Stacey Plaskett. These are all facts. This is on the
- 15:11record in court documents from her own deposition. So once
- 15:15again I ask, where's the accountability for Stacey Plaskett that
- 15:19was demanded for alex Acosta Before she ran for office.
- 15:24Plaskett served as the attorney for the VII Economic Development
- 15:28Commission while Governor Albert Bryant Junior, who was the DC
- 15:32chairman at the time, and other members, signed off on
- 15:36lucrative tax breaks for Epstein's companies. Brian is not named
- 15:40as a defendant in the complaint. After Epstein's twenty nineteen arrest,
- 15:46Plaskett publicly defended her decision to take campaign contributions from him,
- 15:50citing her personal lit miss test that she said Epstein
- 15:54had passed despite being a registered sex offender. So this
- 15:57lady can't even tell that Epstein is not a good
- 16:00guy to take money from. But you think it's a
- 16:02good idea to have her deciding other Americans' fate on
- 16:06that stupid ass committee they had. Here's an idea. When's
- 16:09the Epstein committee being impaneled and when is Stacey Plasket
- 16:12being called on the carpet for the part that she
- 16:15played in enabling Jeffrey Epstein's crimes. I'd like to see
- 16:20that committee. Is that ever going to happen or a
- 16:21we just going to have a lot more BS talk.
- 16:25Plaskett initially said she would not return the eighty one
- 16:29hundred dollars she had received from Epstein, but as public
- 16:32pressure mounted, Plasket reverse course and said instead she would
- 16:36donate an equivalent amount to the Women's Coalition of Saint
- 16:39CrOx and the Family Resource Center on Saint Thomas. It
- 16:44wasn't until her deposition in May that Plasket admitted she
- 16:48had actually accepted a total of thirty thousand dollars in
- 16:51campaign contributions from Epstein and as employees. So about that accountability,
- 16:56we've been talking about any chance anybody but he's going
- 17:00to be screaming and shouting about accountability for Stacey Plaskett,
- 17:04I highly doubt it. Plaskett has declined several requests for
- 17:08comment and has not responded to questions from The Deli
- 17:11News about whether she has donated any of the twenty
- 17:15one thousand, nine hundred dollars she received from Epstein's associates.
- 17:19Plaskett has also not responded to questions about whether her
- 17:23litmus test for receiving campaign contributions has changed and if
- 17:27she would accept campaign contributions from other registered sex offenders. Well, yeah,
- 17:33as long as you weren't at the Capital protest on
- 17:36January sixth, that's her litmus test. You could be a
- 17:40sex offender, but don't go to the Capitol and protest.
- 17:43God forbid. Epstein donated widely to many politician campaigns through
- 17:48his Saint Thomas based business, Southern Trust Company. For example,
- 17:53Senator Donna Freft Gregory said in July twenty nineteen that
- 17:58Southern Trust DC status gave her confidence in accepting the
- 18:03one thousand dollars contribution because EDC companies go through a
- 18:07very rigorous vetting and investigative process before they are awarded benefits.
- 18:12In reality, the EDC vetting process relies heavily on companies
- 18:17to self report information, and former VI Attorney General Denise
- 18:21George later sued Epstein's estate, claiming that Southern Trust was
- 18:26nothing more than a front for epstein sex trafficking operation.
- 18:29That's what it was. One million percent wasn't a real bank,
- 18:34despite having no discernible legitimate business operations in the territory
- 18:39Epstein received tax benefits worth over three hundred million from
- 18:43the EDC over the course of his lifetime. According to
- 18:46court records. The figure had also been closely guarded government
- 18:51secret until the territory sued JP Morgan and information about
- 18:55Epstein's tax benefits came out in discovery. The discoveryss on
- 19:01Earth the wealth of documents, including emails between Epstein, Miss
- 19:04DeJong and government officials willing to trade access for favors.
- 19:09For example, Map asked Epstein to assist him in developing
- 19:14a way for EDC beneficiaries to avoid paying even more taxes,
- 19:19and one of Epstein's lawyers drafted proposed legislation for the governor.
- 19:23According to the new lawsuit, are you guys paying attention yet?
- 19:28Y'all focused on what's really going on? Good? And for
- 19:31those of you who aren't paying attention, it's time to
- 19:34wake the fuck up before you get woke the fuck up.
- 19:37The lawsuit is claiming the VI government and other officials
- 19:41violated the Trafficking Victims Protection Act in a variety of
- 19:44ways and failed to protect victims from abuse. Some of
- 19:48the still unidentified defendants who were employed by the Virgin
- 19:51Islands government as police officers, but others are federal employees.
- 19:56For example, the lawsuit identifies some defender and since as
- 20:00USVII customs agents, but customs agents are not under the
- 20:04control and supervision of the local government. Still, the lawsuit
- 20:09claims that epstein will died influence so powerful it extended
- 20:13even to federal employees. For example, he complained to Dujong
- 20:18in a twenty ten email about a US Customs official
- 20:21who caused them difficulty, and the Jong promised that she
- 20:24would ensure this wouldn't happen again by calling the head
- 20:28of Customs. According to the lawsuit, as another example, a
- 20:32USVII customs agent and or a border control worker was
- 20:36compensated by Epstein under the guise of playing Caribbean Drums
- 20:40forum on his island. In addition, law enforcement in the
- 20:44Virgin Islands never investigated Epstein, even after Florida law enforcement
- 20:49facts Epstein's sexual predator registration information to the USVII Department
- 20:54of Justice officials in July of twenty ten, with which
- 20:58they included a new article confirming his status as a
- 21:02sex offender. According to the lawsuit, but nobody knew They
- 21:05had no idea. Folks remember that story. The complaint includes
- 21:09a section that asks the court to enter judgment in
- 21:12favor of Epstein's victims and against Deutsche Bank. That appears
- 21:16to be a typo and is possibly language borrowed from
- 21:19a similar complaint filed by the victims against the German bank,
- 21:23which took Epstein on as a client after he was
- 21:26dropped by JP Morgan Chase. That lawsuit was recently settled
- 21:30for seventy five million, thirty percent of which will go
- 21:33to pay lawyers representing victims. Attorneys representing the victims in
- 21:38this case against the VI government include Jordan Meerson, a
- 21:43Net Haspidis, Jordan Rutsky, and Kimberlee Kramer. Government House communications
- 21:49director Richard Matta, Junior Justice Department spokeswoman Sandra Guman Singh,
- 21:56and Plasket spokeswoman Tioni Scotland have not yet responded to
- 22:00a request for comment from The Deli News. So, folks,
- 22:03there you have it. More information about this new lawsuit,
- 22:07and I couldn't be happier. I am happy that somebody
- 22:10is going to hold the US Virgin Islands accountable for
- 22:13their bullshit and I can't even believe that I have
- 22:16to say that. And the best part for me is
- 22:18the fact that all these people were out here talking
- 22:20about the USVII and their big win, and now this
- 22:24boomerang comes back and smacks them directly in the face.
- 22:27Like I've said from the beginning, the USVII they are
- 22:30in heroes. They don't care about justice, and they certainly
- 22:34don't care about the survivors. So I hope the survivors
- 22:38get every single dollar that the USVII got from Epstein.
- 22:42I hope the survivors sue the USVII for all of
- 22:45that money, and then I hope they get it all right, folks,
- 22:50that's gonna do it for this one. All of the
- 22:51information that goes with this episode can be found in
- 22:55the description box.
