The University of Dayton just became the first university in the world to power its entire campus using wasted heat — slashing its carbon footprint by 71% and saving energy equivalent to 11 wind turbines a year. Partnering with AES Ohio, Tallgrass, and Kanin Energy, the school captured heat from everyday operations, turned it into electricity, and now serves over 10,000 students.
