Now before we get started in this the topic of this podcast episode is really adult content. I will try to keep it as generic and moral as possible talking about but I would suggest that if you listen to this our children around that you pull another time to watch it or listen to it because it's really a topic. It's not appropriate for young people talking of course about Cornell case the Cornell case that's been in the news and for those who might not be familiar with it. Basically back In October of 2024, there was a frat party at Cornell University.
• 1:08
A young woman who was drunk, she came, she went to it, she got together with a guy, they did some drugs and then another guy joined and then they went to a room and and multiple young men of the frat were involved including there and there was messages about you can come to the room and the shop is open I think is one of the the young men ended up posting or texting to some friends in the frat about or maybe it was like oh no, the shop. Is the shop still open? Meaning talking about having relations with this young woman.
• 1:44
So I just want to make one thing very clear.
• 1:47
And okay, after that then the Cornell there was a complaint lodged by the woman A few weeks later the Cornell University and like the the local district attorney decided basically said okay, there's no criminal charges here to drop. It seems to be relatively basically consensual between all or no proof of anything that's not non consensual. And so they didn't do anything. But then the young woman decided to sue Cornell and others recently just in the past few weeks. And so it's become the cause celeb. The governor has appointed a new I think person to to litigate it and she's made it pretty clear that she is on the woman's side. And so there's a whole debate on social media about this about okay, who is it the woman's fault is the men's fault?
• 2:33
You know, was it rape? Wasn't it? And that that's really. That's been raving on on X and other social media lately.
• 2:42
I don't really want to talk about that.
• 2:45
To put it very clearly to everybody what I think I think everybody involved in this story is basically an awful person, or at least was an awful person that night. And they. And honestly, just what I thought was, my first thought was honestly, how do we get to this situation?
• 3:07
How do we get to a situation which something like this happens? And we all know it's not like this is the first time and the only time something like this has happened on college campuses in our country.
• 3:17
We know this is not some, it might not be common, but I also think it's probably not uncommon of things of this nature to happen.
• 3:28
And so how do we get to a point where, you know, stuff like this did not happen at least on a regular basis in 1950s, probably not even the 60s or 70s, except for maybe very extreme cases. But remember, this isn't some kind of fringe people. These are just regular kids at one of our best universities in the country, at least academically or in reputation.
• 3:55
I obviously would never, I would never help, I would never pay to have my kids. I would never pay for my kids tuition if they went to a place like Cornell or any of the Ivy League schools. I only pay for truly Catholic colleges. Help pay for, I should say.
• 4:08
And so like how do we get to this point where we have this disgusting thing happen? And it's not necessarily uncommon.
• 4:17
I think there's a number of things that we have to consider here, a number of factors. And I think I kind of put in five different groups, kind of written this down here.
• 4:27
The first one is the failed promises of the sexual revolution. The failed promises of the sexual revolution.
• 4:39
The sexual revolution in the 1960s, it promised freedom and equality.
• 4:44
It said men and women would be the same.
• 4:46
That women could. The, the, the stereotype at least was that men, they could sew their oats, so to speak, without any real consequences, social, economic or otherwise. But women, however, could not.
• 5:00
Women were not free to do, to do these type of activities, to explore their sexuality and all these other stupid phrases they had.
• 5:12
And what the promise of sexual revolution was. There's no cost involved because now we have birth control and, and as a backup, now we have abortion.
• 5:23
And that's why we have birth control and abortion legalized and on demand and everywhere is because of the sexual revolution that women needed to be able to not have consequences, to have no cost to engaging in these activities freely and however they want to.
• 5:43
Of course, though, however, we know that there are still consequences. You may not get pregnant, but there are consequences. I mean, there's physical consequences such as venereal diseases and AIDS and STDs and things of that nature, of which some forms of birth control can sometimes prevent, other times not.
• 6:06
But there are so many more deeper consequences. Psychological, social, economic. Yes, economic. I mean, just the. The. What it does to somebody, a person in this situation, let's say a woman who engages in all these activities when she's young, that permanently, permanently harms her ability to engage in deep relationships with people. It will harm her future marriage. I'm not saying through the grace of God, somebody can't overcome it and one day be happily married.
• 6:44
But the reality is sin has consequences. And if you're a person who goes. And just to be clear, this is also true of men. It's. It's different, though. I don't want to act like. I mean, one of the lies of sexual revolution is there's no difference between men sowing their oats and women selling theirs, or whatever you want to call it now a man, okay? Any person who engages in any sexual activity outside of the confines of. Of a true marriage, it's a sin, it's harmful, it has consequences. But there are different consequences depending on activity, how often it's done, what kind, you know, who it's with, and. And if it's a man or a woman engaging it. That's just the reality of how we were created.
• 7:25
And so somebody who engages in this type of behavior when they're in college, for example, and single, it will affect their future marriage. No question.
• 7:34
No question. It will affect their ability to get married, to maintain, to stay married. I mean, all these things have real consequences. Yet the sexual revolution, which so many people bought into, said, no, there's no. There's no cost now. There's no cost because we have birth control. We have. We have abortion.
• 7:56
Now. The reality is there was somebody at the height of the sexual revolution who did say, this is all a lie. This is all a lie.
• 8:07
That what will actually happen is that men will be free to commit greater and greater sins. They will use women for their own pleasure. They will no longer be willing to engage with them as equals in a true relationship. And who was that person? Of course, it was Pope Paul vi.
• 8:28
In humana vitae, he said, a man who grows accustomed to the use of contraceptive methods may forget the reverence due to a woman and disregarding her physical and emotional equilibrium, reduce her to a mere instrument for the satisfaction of his own desires, no longer considering her as his partner whom he should surround with care and affection. That's absolutely what's happened.
• 8:53
That's absolutely what's happened. A man should create, should treat a woman with all Women, but especially a woman he's in a relationship with, with reverence. Reverence is the right word. It's why a woman wears a veil at her wedding. Because you veil things that are sacred.
• 9:10
And womanhood is sacred. A woman is sacred. And how a man treats her should be. He. It should be like he's treating something sacred because he is.
• 9:19
Yet, because of the sexual revolution and birth control and, you know, contraceptive methods and abortion, men no longer, many men no longer feel the need or the desire or the impetus to treat women as sacred objects to be reverenced. Instead, they use them, just like Pope Paul said. I mean, that's very clear.
• 9:44
No matter what you think about this Cornell case, no matter what you think about, did the woman bring it on? Did the men bring it? Whatever.
• 9:51
It's obvious that the men did exactly what Pope Paul VI prophesied, what he said would happen.
• 9:59
They treated her as an instrument, as an object, an instrument for the satisfaction of own desires. Clearly, every single man involved in that who engaged in relationships, in relations with that woman, they used her as an instrument.
• 10:16
Now, I think you could also argue. I mean, I think some of these are disputed points, but I think you also. The woman potentially did the same thing, but men are more likely to do it than women. Women's. Women are sadly, increasingly doing it. And that just shows the lies of the sexual revolution. It turns us all into animals.
• 10:35
And so I really think that, you know, the. The person who, who texted the shop, is the shop still open? I mean, clearly the woman's an instrument in that case.
• 10:46
Now, another factor in all of this, I think we. We should point a finger. So the sexual revolutions is one kind of cluster of things that happened that, that caused, that led to these type of activities, like what happened at Cornell.
• 11:03
A second cluster, so to speak, would be the institutions themselves. The way we look at college, the way we treat college.
• 11:12
Too many parents, they basically coddle their kids for 18 years, then they send them off and help pay for going to a place where basically it's almost expected that you would engage in hedonistic activities.
• 11:29
And that's what you're there for, practically. I remember. I mean, I'm an old guy, I know, But I remember 30 plus years ago, when I was in college, it was already happening. I mean, because the sexual revolution, remember, and all this stuff happened in the 1960s. And so it was, it was alive in the 1990s.
• 11:46
It's degraded US more by now, but it's still alive. And I still remember when I went to College in my corridor, we had about 20 some people and we actually were pretty close. You know, freshman year, you kind of, that's who you're friends with.
• 11:59
The goal of our corridor was to get me and my roommate drunk because both, neither of us drank. Everybody else in the corridor drank. I, I don't need to go into all the details, but I did drink for a while in my sophomore year in college. High school, I'm sorry, high school. But then I had a conversion experience and so I stopped and so I didn't drink.
• 12:22
And my roommate, now my roommate did end up giving in at one point, but I didn't because I was like, I, I've been through that. I know it is, I don't want to do it. The point is though, I was sent off to a school where basically the goal was to get me drunk and the, the peer pressure was immense that I would get drunk. And of course it might have been something where I just got drunk once and then nothing happened. And then I was, I never did it again.
• 12:49
But we all know it's like that's not usually what happens. You do it once, you continue to do it, then you start doing stupid things. You start and you may even lead to doing things happened at Cornell.
• 12:59
But we have institutions like the, the colleges completely, they've completely distanced themselves from teaching virtue now. It might even sound crazy for me to say this, but the reality is all these colleges, the Ivy Leagues, I guarantee when they were founded, part of the program was to teach virtue to the kids who went there. Because we're talking now the 1600s, 1700s, 1800s, it was to teach them virtue. They've completely abdicated from that.
• 13:30
And the truth is the, the virtue they teach now would probably be terrible.
• 13:35
And basically they just manage them and they just try to keep any, any laws from being broken.
• 13:41
But the reality is also the parents are sending them there.
• 13:46
I'm sorry, but if you're a parent, a Catholic parent, who cares about your kids souls, I honestly don't know why you would send your kid to these type of colleges.
• 13:57
It's not like it makes that huge a difference in their life as far as success, material success. Yes, I know if you go to an Ivy League, you're probably going to have connections, you probably will get a higher paying job. But most of the colleges, your Ohio State, I'm just sticking Ohio State, University of Cincinnati, Miami University, where I went, Ohio University, whatever.
• 14:19
There's no difference between them in the education you get as far as like how you will Succeed in your. In your field, in life. I mean, there's almost no difference.
• 14:28
Whereas there are Newman schools, Catholic schools, like Franciscan University of Steubenville, like Christendom College, like Benedictine, where they do try to impart virtue, and they at least have a peer pressure towards virtue. I'm not under the illusion that every kid there is a saint and there's no parties or anything. I know that's not the case yet.
• 14:49
That's because that's human sin. Yet the reality is there is a.
• 14:57
  A direct.
• 14:58
The direction is towards virtue, the peer pressure is towards virtue.
• 15:02
And so really, I just don't. I mean, I've already said before, I'm not a big fan of just going to college, you know, senior kid to college, because it's just like an extension of high school. I think they should have a plan if they go. But also, what kind of colleges are they going to?
• 15:16
What kind of college are they going to? And so this is on the parents. This is on the institutions that you, you. We've set up these situations in which kids are encouraged, pressured, pushed into highly immoral situations.
• 15:34
And I'm. I do blame the parents for sending their kids there.
• 15:41
Okay, that's the second cluster. The third cluster, I would say, is the whole pornography and technology world we live in. Pornography has existed for thousands of years on some level, but there's no question technology has ramped it up, has supercharged it and made it ubiquitous.
• 16:02
And the pornography culture we live in is just overwhelming. And I don't think you can understate how overwhelming it is.
• 16:09
  It's everywhere.
• 16:11
I mean, I was just talking to my son and he was watching some of the baseball playoffs, and he's like, I got the stupid Sydney Sweeney ad coming on where she has no clothes on.
• 16:23
So, like, let's say a dad trying to watch some baseball with his son.
• 16:27
Let's say his son's like 13 years old watching baseball, son. All of a sudden that commercial comes on.
• 16:33
The pornification of our culture is, Is just complete. It's everywhere.
• 16:38
And of course it's. It's easily accessible. Like I said, you could just be watching TV and a commercial comes on, but it's. You literally carry around a porn generating device on you at all times. If you have a phone, you can access porn anytime, anywhere.
• 16:57
  There's nothing healthy about that.
• 16:59
Porn is an affliction. It's evil.
• 17:02
And for anybody who is struggling with it, addicted to it, pray the rosary, go to confession a lot, receive the Holy Eucharist, do all you can to Combat it. Never give up. Never get discouraged, and never give up. If you've had a porn addiction for 10 years and you're like, there's no chance it will ever go away, don't think like that. That's from the devil. That is absolutely from the devil.
• 17:25
Pray the rosary every day. Pray it multiple times a day. Go to confession regularly. If you have to, go weekly, if you have to go daily, I don't care.
• 17:32
Go to confession regularly and receive Holy Communion. That is the way you combat pornography. But the point I'm trying to make here is we live in a pornographic culture. And so people literally, they.
• 17:47
Their whole idea of human sexuality, of relationships, is based on pornography.
• 17:54
And so something like this, which is like this Cornell case where you have multiple men and one woman engaged in these activities together in a room, a normal person who has not been pornified would just think that's crazy, would just be horrified by that. There's nothing attractive about that. There's nothing about that where you're like, we're a normal person who hasn't been inflicted with porn. Wouldn't think that's disgusting.
• 18:22
Just like a normal heterosexual man. If. If the topic of homosexual male sex comes up is immediately disgusted. Like, it almost like has a visceral disgust, which is the normal natural action. The same thing should be true of this. That should be your natural inclination. Your natural reaction is disgust. Yet it's not for so many people, because of porn, because of porn being everywhere.
• 18:50
The. The reality is, is that the reason that this turned out to be more than just. I mean, okay, it started off with a girl and then two guys, but it became more than that because they wanted an audience, because that's porn. Porn is an audience for these activities.
• 19:11
And so because this is ingrained in their heads, they're like, hey, let's send out to the chat. Everybody, come join us. Everybody watch whatever. It's disgusting.
• 19:19
But this is what this is. Decades of pornography. In particular, the last decade or so of it being a couple decades of being easily accessible to everybody.
• 19:30
  That's what it does.
• 19:32
Of course, the catechism, it says pornography does grave injury to the dignity of its participants. Since each one becomes an object of base pleasure, it immerses all who are involved in the illusion of fantasy world. That's important to remember with pornography. Every single person involved is.
• 19:50
It does injury to their dignity, whether it's the people in the. In the pornography, the movie, whatever, the foes, the men and women in that, the people filming it, the people watching it. Every Single one. It does. Grave injury to their dignity.
• 20:06
And what, you know, we like to use. We like to throw around the word dignity. And it is an important word. It's one of the most important of the Catholic terms.
• 20:15
But, like, what does it mean? Okay, grave injury to your dignity.
• 20:19
It actually does mean it chips away at your soul, so that one of the results is you might end up doing things like that. It's. It's. It's a known fact that pornography, people who. Who purvey in pornography, who engage in it, who watch it, consume it, I guess you could say that their tastes get more and more extreme. This is a known fact.
• 20:44
And why is that? I mean, there's psychological reasons and all that, but it's also because basically your dignity, it's like. Imagine like you're a statue when your dignity get injured. It's like it's like chipping away at that statue, just chipping away. It's harming you. It really is degrading you, turning you more and more into an animal, really, rather than a person, a human person.
• 21:08
So I'd say that's another one. So we have the sexual revolution, obviously. We have these institutions and parents is another one. We have pornography and technology.
• 21:17
I would say another one. Another kind of factor that's led to a situation like what happened at Cornell and is happening, I'm sure, other universities, is the disappearance of men as protectors. What I mean by that, by the way, sexual revolution. I want to take a step back.
• 21:33
One of the things includes this feminism. I've talked against feminism before.
• 21:38
Feminism is evil and should be resisted. That's a. That's a major factor. And I clump that under the sexual revolution. However, now in this fourth one, I want to bring up the man's role, the disappearance, particularly of chivalry and men as protectors of women, chivalry and men as protectors. Chivalry isn't even a term. Is a term people laugh at today.
• 22:01
I might be the only person on earth who brings it up, but it's a real thing. It should be a real thing. Men should look at women as people to protect, people to protect. That should be the way you look at. If you see a woman in any situation at all that looks like it might be harmful to her, your first instinct should be to protect her.
• 22:22
Might be a lot of factors where you might not be able to do something, depending on the situation, all that. But the reality is not one man stood up during this Cornell situation and said, we need to protect her. Now, I Want to make something clear.
• 22:36
That's not saying the woman wasn't consenting to what was going on.
• 22:40
Sometimes you have to protect somebody by. By keeping them from doing what they want to do.
• 22:46
What should have happened is at least one of those young men in the fraternity should say, guys, no, we're not doing this. She's clearly intoxicated.
• 22:55
It's. This is not a good idea. This is not something we should do. Let's. Let's just take her home. Somebody, you know, just take her home.
• 23:02
We're above this, but they're not above it. They actually, you know, they engage in it because they're acting like animals. She's acting like an animal, but so are they.
• 23:11
And it's up. It's the responsibility of man. If you're going to be somebody who's like, okay, I'm against feminism, and I, you know, men are getting beat down and they're being crushed, and they're all that stuff, and I'm with you on all that, then you also have to be that men have to be the ones who step up. If a man and a woman or man and multiple women, or women, multiple women, man, if they're engaged in something that's wrong, it's the man's responsibility, first and foremost, to stop it.
• 23:40
He should not be looking to the woman as the lead.
• 23:43
He should not be saying, well, this woman wants to do this horrible thing, so I guess it's okay because she consents. Because, again, what's happened is. Is like all our morality is now consent. As long as they consent, it's okay. No, if, for example, let's say you are a young man and you're dating a young woman, and you're. You're. There's nothing, you know, you're not doing anything you shouldn't be doing.
• 24:06
But one night, let's say the woman in a. In a bit of weakness, maybe she's had some alcoholism, a guy, she wants to do something of a sexual nature.
• 24:18
It's your responsibility, man, to step up and say, nope, not going to do it.
• 24:23
Don't I. Don't get me wrong. The temptation might be great, but you just say no. Why? Because you're protecting her. You're protecting her. That's your duty.
• 24:32
That is your role as a man is to protect her.
• 24:36
And so likewise, in this situation, when this woman, the Jane Doe at Cornell, wanted to do these terrible things, whether, you know, how much consent she gave and her drunkenness and all that, that's for the courts to decide. And they'll probably decide wrongly. But the reality is it doesn't matter when it comes to morality. It doesn't matter when it comes to the way a Catholic should look at this.
• 24:58
If you had a daughter who went astray and did some bad, wanted to do these bad things, wouldn't you want the men in that situation to step up and say, no, we're not going to do this. And if you're, if you have a son who maybe has gone astray, wouldn't you want him to be the one say, guys, no, we're not doing this.
• 25:18
That's what we, that's what we want. And so men absolutely should be protectors of women. And chivalry should not be dead. And I get it that feminists don't want us to be. The whole attack on toxic masculinity is an attack on chivalry is an attack on men as protectors. I get that.
• 25:39
But they win if we stop doing it.
• 25:43
So hold open that door for the women and if some woman doesn't like it, that's her problem.
• 25:49
You know, be willing, you know, if, if a young woman, let's say, on college campus once, I remember one time this young woman when I was in college, I didn't know her and I was taking this path that was kind of dark, it was at night and was going to my dorm, but it was like there it was, you know, wasn't well lit. I think later they put a bunch of lights up. But at the time, there's a young woman who was walking by herself not too far behind me, and she called me and she said, do you mind if I walk with you? So I, you know, because, you know, I knew what she meant because it's dark and everything. I said, of course you can. And I just chatted with her and then, you know, let. Then she went off to her dorm. Once we got to the dorms, every man. Now obviously in that situation, most men would just say, do exactly what I did. There are some terrible people who wouldn't.
• 26:35
We should always do stuff like that. The first thought is, how can I protect this woman? Whether it's a simple situation or an extreme situation, how can I protect this woman?
• 26:44
That's another thing that, that this wouldn't have happened if the men had not stepped up. If the, if the, I'm sorry, this wouldn't have. If the men had stepped up, the men had stepped up and been real men, this would never happen. A real man would never engage in the behavior those men did. A real woman wouldn't engage in the behavior the woman did either. Don't get me wrong, but I'm a man. I'm going to be harder on the men. I'm sorry, but that's just the way it is. I. I'm more upset if, honestly, when I read this story, I'm more upset the men, because I think they. Because I think they have a greater responsibility than the woman did. I mean, I think the woman is horrible. But the men, I just, I have nothing but contempt for them being engaged in this.
• 27:27
Now, that's the fourth grouping, the fifth kind of cluster of what I'm talking about, I kind of hinted at before, is the moral vacuum that we live in, in which consent is the only rule.
• 27:38
Now, to be clear, in some cases, for legal reasons, consent is a decent rule to follow. There's nothing, you know, there are situations in which consent is the rule that should be followed when it comes to legal things. But as Catholics, we should be thinking morality, not just legality. Morality, not just legality. What is the moral compass that we have? What is the moral rules that we should follow? And it's not consent.
• 28:05
Like I said, if you're a young man, you got a girlfriend, and she wants to do something that you know is immoral to do, and she completely consents to it, it's still just as immoral not to do it. Now, obviously, if you did it without her consent, it'd be even more immoral, but it's, it's immoral to do it. Even if she gives you consent, it does not give you the ability to do that. And the problem is, of course, this whole consent thing is a joke when it comes to a lot of this stuff, because especially when you get drinking in that. At what point is a consent? I mean, I saw somebody saying how if you get drunk and then you drive, you are responsible for what you did. If you kill somebody while drunk driving, you're responsible. You should be, because you got drunk, you got in the car, but when you got in the car, you weren't fully with your senses. So if a young woman gets drunk and then she consents to these some terrible behavior, is that legal or isn't it? Should it be? Shouldn't it be?
• 29:02
Because what happens is what's happening, what actually is happening is you can like withdraw your consent after the fact. You can say, no, actually, I didn't want to do that. I was just drunk.
• 29:13
Well, I mean, are we supposed to have breathalyzer tests? And are we supposed to do. I mean, it's like the whole thing, obviously in this whole situation, these things shouldn't happen, but it just shows the idiocy of the idea of consent as a, as a means by which we decide morality.
• 29:31
Like I said, in some cases it might decide legality. Excuse me, but it does not decide morality.
• 29:38
So I think essentially what's happened here is we have. All these things have come together that have led to this hedonistic, disgusting pagan society that we live in. And it's especially true on college campuses because, like, your average person living in a family out wherever isn't going to engage in this type of stuff. But you know what it does? It clusters at areas where you have people with little morality gathering together with no rules, no societal, cultural rules around them. So you see it like in Hollywood, the Hollywood people, they, they have nobody stopping them, so they just do all these crazy things. You also have it, though, on college campuses because all the immorality and the paganism and everything that's been building up over the decades comes together and they're given a free pass, but of course it's not a free pass.
• 30:24
They end up doing illegal things. But more importantly and worse, they do tons of immoral things they shouldn't do.
• 30:31
And so all these things come together. As Catholics, though, I don't think we should be spending our energies trying to litigate. Okay, was the woman really the problem here? Was it the men or whatever?
• 30:44
  No, they're all a problem.
• 30:47
And as parents, especially I'm speaking parents here, you should do everything you can to raise your kids so they're never in that situation.
• 30:53
That. They're never in that situation. And that if they ever were, somehow fell in that situation, they would immediately either get out of there or try to protect a woman or whatever the case, depending on the situation, they would, they would not go along with it. They would stand up and say, no, we will not do this.
• 31:10
And so, like, again, talking to parents here, particularly fathers, make it clear to your sons that men protect women, men protect women. And fathers, make it clear to your daughters that men protect women. And so you should not be around a man who's not going to be protective of you.
• 31:33
Also, when it comes to college, don't send your kids to these pagan universities. I mean, not only do they warp their, their, their beliefs and they, they, they, they indoctrinate them with terrible things, but then they live in these, in these horrible situations like this.
• 31:49
It's just a recipe for your losing your child's soul. Soul. If you really care about your kid's soul. I'm sorry, you should not be seeing your kids to Harvard or Cornell or Princeton or even frankly, like Ohio State. I mean, I understand like if they're living at home and going to the local university, that's one thing, because that's very different. You have, you continue relationship. They're on campus and stuff like that as much. But just in general, though, be, be prudent, understand what, what they're getting into.
• 32:18
And so, you know, ultimately the, the fact is, is that this is just a sign of our deterrings, deteriorating culture, deterring society. And we need to, as Catholics, go beyond just the, the surface of, oh my gosh, this woman claims she was raped, but she really wasn't. She gave consent or, oh, these men are the horrible men. And you always have to believe women. That's the debate you get. I mean, that's the debate you're going to get on social media or wherever where it's just there's two extremes. One is the woman is, is the, was the problem. She should just shut up because she didn't, you know, she consented to it, or the men are the problem automatically. That's a stupid debate.
• 33:00
What we should be doing is saying, no, the whole system is broken. The whole system should be burnt down, frankly, and we should not participate in it. We will not participate. We're not let our kids participate and we're not going to participate in it. And we'll build cultures, will build areas in which this does not happen.
• 33:19
I mean, the reality is, like I said, I'm not saying places like Franciscan University, nothing bad ever happens. But I felt pretty confident when my kids went there that nothing like that would ever happen like the Cornell case. But more importantly, there'd be real peer pressure and real social groups that would avoid those types of situations and would be trying to help the, the people grow in holiness. And that's exactly what happened for all three of my kids that went to Steubenville. So, okay, I think I'll wrap it up there.
• 33:46
But just, yeah, pray. Pray for the people involved in this, too. It's just sad. Maybe they'll have a conversion and really be able to, you know, witness to Jesus Christ and his power to heal them and also pray that justice is done, because I doubt it will be. But let's hope it sounds like it's the jihad. It sounds like it's the Duke Lacrosse case again.
• 34:04
But anyway, so. And just like I said, build communities, build families that have nothing to do with this type of hedonism. This type of debauchery.
• 34:14
Okay, I'll wrap it up there. Until next time, everybody. God love you. And remember, the four.
