- 0:01Happy Friday morning, everybody. NASCAR versus Michael Jordan and
- 0:10Front Row Motorsports. It's a banger.
- 0:14They all going to go out in a blaze of glory.
- 0:18They all going to say exactly what they want and they going to
- 0:23burn the house down. I'd never wanted to talk about
- 0:27this lawsuit again because it was too confusing.
- 0:32However, the juice is loose. This is the point where you got
- 0:39to talk about it. Holy moly.
- 0:43Did you see yesterday? OK, if you go back.
- 0:49Oh, God. Eight months ago.
- 0:51I don't know how long ago it was.
- 0:52Seems like it was a long time ago.
- 0:55The judge told NASCAR and the judge told Front Row Motorsports
- 1:04and 2311, which is Michael Jordan.
- 1:07The judge said you all need to settle this case and here's what
- 1:13the judge said. And now it's ringing true.
- 1:16The judge knew what was going to go on, he said.
- 1:19I've never seen a group of people wanting to burn NASCAR
- 1:24down like you all are going to do.
- 1:29So it started yesterday. Yesterday, because of the way
- 1:35this all works, emails, texts, they all became public.
- 1:43Holy moly. I was telling my wife we went to
- 1:50Cracker Barrel last night for dinner and she says what's going
- 1:53on in that lawsuit? I said, oh, all Hell's breaking
- 1:55loose. I said, did you know that if on
- 2:00your personal phone, if you text somebody at any time, if you go
- 2:06to court, the federal government, all your texts, all
- 2:11your emails are never private. You think they're private
- 2:15because they're yours. But you know, all that stuff is
- 2:19always right there and and they can get it.
- 2:23So because of that, some things, some small things became
- 2:30everybody's business. And I got to tell you they are
- 2:36burning the house down. Let's go over some of the things
- 2:41that we heard yesterday. There was a conversation between
- 2:48two people and it said how does this all end?
- 2:55And the person answered, to my complete amazement said it only
- 3:03happens if Jim dies. I assume that's Jim France.
- 3:14So these people are saying all this ends only if Jim France
- 3:17dies. Is that what that said?
- 3:19You all see it. I read it too.
- 3:21It's out there. Bob.
- 3:23Pop grass, Jeff Gluck, it's everywhere, Michael Jordan says
- 3:30to one of his business partners. The business partner says we
- 3:35need to do the best we can we can with what we got right now.
- 3:40If we don't, it's going to cost us millions of dollars, Michael
- 3:44Jordan responds. I've lost that in the casino.
- 3:51Holy moly, that tells you how much money Michael Jordan made
- 3:56playing basketball. As one of the greatest
- 3:59basketball players of all time, he never made the money playing
- 4:03basketball. Let's be clear about that.
- 4:05Michael Jordan made all his money from Nike basketball, gave
- 4:13him the platform to make the money.
- 4:16Michael Jordan made all his money from Nike, still making
- 4:22$44 million a year just from Nike.
- 4:25Louis, Louis the legend. And so it begins, everybody.
- 4:33One of the biggest shows in modern sports history.
- 4:36Now, let's be clear about this. If NASCAR and Front Row
- 4:43Motorsports in 2311, if they don't settle this behind closed
- 4:48doors, everything is going to become public.
- 4:53Now is 2311, are they, are they bluffing?
- 5:01Are they bluffing? Because here's what 2311 just
- 5:05said. They said in the court hearing
- 5:09yesterday, we have the smoking gun.
- 5:15That means whatever 2311 has will show everybody that NASCAR
- 5:26is bad. Now, are they bluffing?
- 5:31Are they saying, hey, NASCAR, let's settle this and once
- 5:35again, I'll bring everybody up to date.
- 5:39What does 2311 in front row? What do they want?
- 5:43They're saying they want the sport to distribute more money
- 5:49to the teams because the teams cannot make any money.
- 5:54NASCAR argues that you guys are making all the money you want.
- 5:58All I can say is this. Michael Jordan made all his
- 6:02money from Nike. Some of the sport's wealthiest
- 6:10race car drivers might not have made all their money from the
- 6:16race car, but they've but they made their money in different
- 6:20ways. NASCAR does provide a platform
- 6:27for you to make an effort to make a living.
- 6:32Now for me, all I can do is go by me.
- 6:36How did I make it? How did I make all this money I
- 6:39got? I say that humbly, right?
- 6:42I'm very humble about it when I say it.
- 6:44So if if I'm going to talk about this subject, how did I make
- 6:48this money? Well, when I got Square D as a
- 6:53sponsor, I gave it to Andy Petrie or I gave it to Philbert
- 6:56Martasi and I said here's all this money, here's the milk.
- 7:00I went and got millions of dollars from Square DI, gave it
- 7:05to the race team and we paid for the motors and the race cars and
- 7:09the travelling and the tires and the salaries.
- 7:13We had to pay the people. So basically I in a roundabout
- 7:17way, because I wouldn't got the millions of dollars and I gave
- 7:20it to the car owners. I was the one responsible for
- 7:23taking care of all the families. So I had a lot of pressure on
- 7:27me, but I wanted to play. I wanted to play, I wanted to
- 7:32play a game. So I went and got the millions
- 7:34of dollars and we raced with it. I got a little bit of the money.
- 7:39I got a little bit of the percentage.
- 7:42I took some of that money. I put it into real estate and I
- 7:47hit an oil well. I told everybody I took that
- 7:52money that I saved. I invested in the stock market.
- 7:57Trump became president. The stock market went from 19
- 8:02when I invested it. That's up to 45 right now.
- 8:09Am I lucky? Then I did TVI made a lot of
- 8:16money doing TV. Then I gave speeches.
- 8:24So do you see what I'm saying? I didn't.
- 8:28I, I made my start in NASCAR, but then I took that money and I
- 8:34quadrupled it because I did the smart things with it.
- 8:40What Michael Jordan's arguing is a look, you guys are, you guys
- 8:44are just hogging all the money. NASCAR's arguing that we give
- 8:48you all as much as Formula One gives their drivers and teams.
- 8:54That's not a fair argument because Formula One is
- 8:57worldwide. Some of their some of their
- 9:01deals are 200 million a year. Formula One looks like makes
- 9:05NASCAR look like small potatoes. I don't know how this is going
- 9:11to end, but if it keeps it up, it's going to be ugly.
- 9:18Right now they've lit the match and the Wick is burning.
- 9:24They're burning the house down and it's not good.
- 9:29Have a great Friday, everybody.
