Digger Review — A Slow Start and an Incredible Tom Cruise Performance

The first half of Digger had me worried. The setup felt long, and the dark jokes weren’t working for me. Then the courtroom scene completely changed my experience. I’m talking about Tom Cruise’s incredible performance, John Goodman and Riz Ahmed, the film’s sharp ideas about power and blame, and why the second half won me over. 4.5/5.
