- 0:00Speaker 1: On News Radio 570, WKBN. And good to be with you.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Thanks for your patience. 506 News Radio 570, WKBN. Welcome
- 0:09Speaker 1: to a Tuesday afternoon. Nice to be back with you
- 0:12Speaker 1: after a couple days off. It's 87 degrees. The sun
- 0:15Speaker 1: is shining in my neck of the woods. And some
- 0:19Speaker 1: patient callers. We appreciate that. You're on the air.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Hey, how you doing, Ron?
- 0:25Speaker 1: I'm doing well. Thank you for calling.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Oh, thank you.
- 0:29Speaker 2: For coming back. I wanted to share something with you
- 0:34Speaker 2: because I think this will help to answer some questions
- 0:39Speaker 2: for me. I was scrolling through Facebook, and I got
- 0:44Speaker 2: some reels from this, I don't know what this company
- 0:49Speaker 2: or person or whatever, and it's called Taniaka Labs. and
- 1:00Speaker 2: I'll spell it later, but basically it talks about what's
- 1:07Speaker 2: going on with the war and geopolitical stuff. I think
- 1:13Speaker 2: it's powered by AI and a lot of things make sense.
- 1:20Speaker 2: And it speaks very plainly, takes one particular... thing at
- 1:26Speaker 2: a time and explained it. For example, they were talking
- 1:32Speaker 2: about Iran, and we wonder why is Iran saying, yeah,
- 1:35Speaker 2: we want a deal, no, we're not going to make
- 1:37Speaker 2: a deal. Yeah, we want a deal. Well, basically, it
- 1:42Speaker 2: said that Iran is also a government, somewhat like America,
- 1:46Speaker 2: that is fighting against itself. They've got the hardliners who
- 1:53Speaker 2: want to have the Ayatollah and and prop him up
- 1:57Speaker 2: and everything, and are part of the Royal Guard. And
- 2:02Speaker 2: then you have moderates. Now, moderates want to stabilize the economy,
- 2:07Speaker 2: and if it's stabilized, then they figure they'll get the power.
- 2:11Speaker 2: So basically, the two of them are fighting there for power.
- 2:16Speaker 2: And the reason that the Royal Guard is so adamant
- 2:20Speaker 2: about not having peace is because They do all this
- 2:26Speaker 2: black market and smuggling and everything else to the tune
- 2:29Speaker 2: of about $ 30 billion. So they've got an empire that's
- 2:34Speaker 2: built on Iran having sanctions. If there ends up being peace,
- 2:40Speaker 2: their whole business model falls apart. So they are going
- 2:45Speaker 2: back and forth there because, again, because money. But, you know,
- 2:51Speaker 2: when I thought about it, it makes sense. Why would
- 2:55Speaker 2: they say, yeah, we want to have peace, or we
- 2:59Speaker 2: want to talk, and we're not going to talk? And
- 3:02Speaker 2: it was the moderates who came up and, you know,
- 3:06Speaker 2: did that agreement. But the Royal Guard is fighting against it.
- 3:13Speaker 2: But basically, it was just one point. But there were
- 3:18Speaker 2: several points. It talked about the different straits and how
- 3:22Speaker 2: everybody's got to reroute. their oil, and what China's doing
- 3:28Speaker 2: with North Korea, what this one's doing. And there's a
- 3:32Speaker 2: whole lot of geopolitical stuff going on that we... It's
- 3:37Speaker 2: not just as simple as what we're trying to make it.
- 3:42Speaker 2: And so the name of this, just in case anybody
- 3:46Speaker 2: out there wants to look it up, C-H-A-N-A-K-Y-A... dot lab, L-A-B.
- 3:57Speaker 2: But like I said, it's powered by AI. I tried
- 4:00Speaker 2: to look into it more, but I was just fascinated
- 4:03Speaker 2: by each one of these points, and they make it
- 4:07Speaker 2: very simple, and all it is is a map, and
- 4:09Speaker 2: he draws, you know, he writes things and draws lines
- 4:14Speaker 2: and shows, you know, shows you in that respect, and
- 4:17Speaker 2: it really has helped a lot to answer some questions.
- 4:21Speaker 2: So anyhow... I just wanted to share that. And then
- 4:24Speaker 2: I have one more thing to say.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Yes, I'm all ears.
- 4:28Speaker 4: Okay.
- 4:30Speaker 2: So years ago, years and years, I saw this cartoon.
- 4:33Speaker 2: I wish I could have, I wish I could have,
- 4:36Speaker 2: would have ripped it out because I did a lot
- 4:37Speaker 2: of that. But there, the cartoon was, there's a guy
- 4:42Speaker 2: who's sitting on a bus and he's looking out the
- 4:46Speaker 2: window and down below the bus is a really cool guy,
- 4:51Speaker 2: a in a convertible sports car. And it said, the Democratic..
- 5:00Speaker 4: Excuse me.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Conservative Republican looks down at that car and says, one
- 5:08Speaker 2: day I'll be driving a car like that. And the
- 5:12Speaker 2: Democratic Socialist looks down and says, one day you'll be
- 5:16Speaker 2: riding the bus with me.
- 5:17Speaker 5: I just thought..
- 5:22Speaker 2: And, you know, I've remembered that for all these years.
- 5:26Speaker 2: And it is when young people ask and if they
- 5:33Speaker 2: aspire to have nice things, I mean, that's as simple
- 5:37Speaker 2: as it can get. They want us to ride the bus.
- 5:42Speaker 2: You know, we want them to aspire to a convertible car.
- 5:47Speaker 4: Anyhow.
- 5:48Speaker 1: There you go. All right. Thank you. You're on the air. Hello.
- 5:52Speaker 6: Mr. Verb, how are you today? I want you to
- 5:54Speaker 6: know I'm taking a break from my duties outside cleaning
- 5:59Speaker 6: up my yard. And I thought I'd come in and
- 6:02Speaker 6: say hello to you.
- 6:03Speaker 1: What exactly do you have to clean up?
- 6:08Speaker 6: I've got different beds of flowers and I've got different
- 6:12Speaker 6: beds of different things that I need to clean up because...
- 6:18Speaker 6: You got the Creepin' Charlie coming around, and you got
- 6:21Speaker 6: all this other junk that takes over the area, so
- 6:24Speaker 6: you got to clean it up. Oh, okay. You know
- 6:28Speaker 6: what Creepin' Charlie is.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Yeah, he was peeping in my windows the other night.
- 6:32Speaker 6: Is that Creepin' Charlie? I bet he was. He can't
- 6:37Speaker 6: wait to get to your house.
- 6:38Speaker 1: I mean, I thought a guy like you of your
- 6:40Speaker 1: stature would have gardeners do that type of work.
- 6:44Speaker 6: I like, well, if you remember, I told you... A
- 6:48Speaker 6: couple of weeks ago, we might have to break up
- 6:51Speaker 6: because I have things to do and I don't have
- 6:53Speaker 6: time to sit on the radio for an hour waiting
- 6:57Speaker 6: for Mr. Verb to say hello to me.
- 6:59Speaker 1: I know, and that disturbed me a great deal.
- 7:03Speaker 6: I bet it did.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Yes, it did.
- 7:06Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm sure. But the last couple of days off,
- 7:11Speaker 6: did you have... Nice vacation, or did you have to
- 7:15Speaker 6: work harder?
- 7:16Speaker 1: No, I had a nice time off. I was visiting
- 7:20Speaker 1: my daughter.
- 7:23Speaker 6: Outstanding.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Right. Does it get any better than that now, does it?
- 7:27Speaker 6: No, it does not. I did that about a week
- 7:30Speaker 6: and a half ago. We came back on the 22nd,
- 7:32Speaker 6: whatever that is. Right. You know what I mean? Out
- 7:34Speaker 6: of time.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Right, right, right, right. But I'm trying to picture you
- 7:43Speaker 1: slaving away out there with the... Who's this Creep Charlie?
- 7:47Speaker 1: Is he your next-door neighbor or somebody?
- 7:49Speaker 6: No, it's called Creeping Charlie.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Oh, is he your next-door neighbor?
- 7:53Speaker 6: No, no, no, no, no. It's the Creeping Charlie that
- 7:57Speaker 6: takes over my lawn if I don't take care of it.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Well, don't you get it..
- 8:01Speaker 6: I fertilize, I do everything I can to keep it away,
- 8:04Speaker 6: but it just keeps popping up.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Don't you get it sprayed or treated or something?
- 8:09Speaker 6: I do. I do. But my neighbor doesn't take as
- 8:13Speaker 6: good a care of his lawn as I do mine.
- 8:17Speaker 1: There's always one in every neighborhood. Well, I guess we only.
- 8:21Speaker 6: Have two of them. The one on the other side
- 8:24Speaker 6: is the same way. So anyway..
- 8:28Speaker 1: That really sucks. You always see that. I don't care
- 8:31Speaker 1: what neighborhood you go into. There always seems to be
- 8:33Speaker 1: one person. It just doesn't seem like they give a damn,
- 8:36Speaker 1: which I always wonder when that's the case. Well, why
- 8:38Speaker 1: did you move to that neighborhood in the first place then?
- 8:41Speaker 1: If you can see all these places are nice and
- 8:43Speaker 1: you come and you have no desire to do that, well,
- 8:45Speaker 1: go where everyone else has that same mentality. There you go.
- 8:49Speaker 6: I'm glad you said it because the backyard of this
- 8:52Speaker 6: person that lives next door to me is like A jungle.
- 8:57Speaker 6: And like you said, why move into this neighborhood and
- 9:00Speaker 6: let that happen? So I guess I'm going to have
- 9:03Speaker 6: to do something as far as going downtown and talking
- 9:06Speaker 6: to the mayor and blah, blah, blah. I'm too old
- 9:12Speaker 6: to confront somebody with that crap. They just don't take
- 9:16Speaker 6: care of it anyway.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Yeah, where's your zoning and that kind of stuff if
- 9:21Speaker 1: they don't cut your grass and that kind of stuff? Well,
- 9:23Speaker 1: call the zoning department.
- 9:25Speaker 6: Yeah, there you go. I'll write that one, Sony.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Right. I mean, what seems to be the problem? They're
- 9:30Speaker 1: just bum neighbors, right?
- 9:32Speaker 6: They're just... And they planted these tomatoes and peppers in
- 9:39Speaker 6: these great big barrels, tin barrels, and they put dirt
- 9:43Speaker 6: in it. And these things are just growing all over
- 9:45Speaker 6: the place in the back. It's terrible.
- 9:48Speaker 4: It's terrible.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Right, and it looks awful. Here you are in your
- 9:54Speaker 1: pristine mansion, you know, in your elite neighborhood. and you
- 10:00Speaker 1: keep your lawn manicured. Obviously, times are tough because of
- 10:04Speaker 1: Trump that you're out there doing it yourself. You had
- 10:07Speaker 1: to let your gardening staff go. So you're out there
- 10:09Speaker 1: doing it yourself, and you look over at the neighbor's place,
- 10:12Speaker 1: and they just don't give a damn.
- 10:15Speaker 6: That's the bottom line, my friend. That's the bottom line,
- 10:18Speaker 6: and I'm not being the— I'm not trying to be,
- 10:22Speaker 6: you ever hear the word persnickety?
- 10:24Speaker 1: No, I mean, you're just trying to say, listen, put
- 10:26Speaker 1: a little damn pride into your house and in your property.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Is it asking too much to pick up the crap,
- 10:32Speaker 1: mow your lawn, and to keep your place neat? I mean,
- 10:37Speaker 1: can't you see that's what we got going on over here?
- 10:40Speaker 1: Why do you live there if you're not willing to
- 10:42Speaker 1: do that? Go live somewhere with other bums then.
- 10:46Speaker 6: So the zoning department will maybe get some results.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Yeah, you never know until you call and ask. Yeah,
- 10:53Speaker 1: I mean, they've got a zoning department. Call and ask
- 10:57Speaker 1: what direction I could go. Here's what my problem is.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Who's going to help me solve it? You can easily,
- 11:02Speaker 1: either the zoning department, sometimes you've got a community police officer.
- 11:05Speaker 1: They might be able to assist you in that as well.
- 11:09Speaker 6: But I also wanted to mention.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Now, if none of that works out for you, If
- 11:15Speaker 1: Ted the Conservative comes back from New Jersey, I'll send
- 11:17Speaker 1: him over there to rough the person up a little bit.
- 11:20Speaker 1: What he's done in Jersey.
- 11:22Speaker 6: What he's done in Jersey.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Well, he does go to Jersey a lot, and people
- 11:25Speaker 1: are getting a little suspicious.
- 11:27Speaker 6: What's going on in Jersey? What's going on there?
- 11:29Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on. He's going to Jersey
- 11:31Speaker 1: all the time, and I'm beginning to wonder, like these
- 11:33Speaker 1: people are saying, what's Ted the Conservative up to?
- 11:38Speaker 6: Well, maybe he's going to hook up with the people
- 11:43Speaker 6: that contacted the Department of Justice or whoever it was
- 11:48Speaker 6: that contacted Sammy the Bull. Yeah. To try to find out.
- 11:55Speaker 6: What was it about now? I can't remember. What the
- 11:59Speaker 6: heck was that about? They contacted Sandy the Bull.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Yeah, and he took care of it. And he took
- 12:08Speaker 1: care of business.
- 12:10Speaker 6: Yeah. Now, they actually did this, contacted him to find
- 12:19Speaker 6: out what they were trying to find out. I mean,
- 12:22Speaker 6: come on. Maybe that's why your buddy's there, too. Yeah,
- 12:25Speaker 6: hanging around with the Jersey boys.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Yeah, he's out there in Jersey. You know, he goes
- 12:29Speaker 1: out there. You know, he goes out there with another guy.
- 12:30Speaker 1: I don't know if you've ever heard of him. His name, Creepin' Charlie.
- 12:35Speaker 6: No, no, I've never heard of him. I've heard of
- 12:40Speaker 6: other names in this town. They're associated with those people,
- 12:45Speaker 6: but never Creepin' Charlie.
- 12:46Speaker 1: They're driving out there together. He's had the conservative in Creepin'
- 12:49Speaker 1: Charlie going to Jersey.
- 12:51Speaker 6: I just want to know, you know that this is
- 12:54Speaker 6: probably turned into the Salem witch hunt that's going on
- 12:57Speaker 6: with this administration?
- 12:59Speaker 1: What do you mean?
- 13:00Speaker 6: That's what I equate it to.
- 13:02Speaker 3: What?
- 13:02Speaker 6: The Salem witch hunt.
- 13:04Speaker 1: What do you mean?
- 13:06Speaker 6: As far as what the whole administration is trying to do.
- 13:11Speaker 6: It's everything that they are trying to, everybody that they
- 13:15Speaker 6: have tried to bring charges against, you know what's happened? Nothing.
- 13:21Speaker 6: They have convicted no one. No convictions whatsoever. All this
- 13:26Speaker 6: is is the Salem witch hunt of the 1650s in 2026.
- 13:33Speaker 6: That's all it is.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Say that again. Give me that again.
- 13:40Speaker 6: All the people that the Trump administration, the Department of Justice,
- 13:44Speaker 6: is trying to put in jail, bring charges against, Anybody
- 13:50Speaker 6: that they try to do that to, nothing has ever stick.
- 13:55Speaker 6: Nothing sticks. It's all been a big mush burger, a nothing.
- 14:03Speaker 6: You know what Salem witch hunt is, don't you?
- 14:05Speaker 1: Yeah, but don't you think Trump was a victim of
- 14:07Speaker 1: a lot of those witch hunts that took place? I
- 14:11Speaker 1: can't think of any guy that was more persecuted.
- 14:13Speaker 6: I couldn't think of a better guy to have all
- 14:15Speaker 6: these people after him. Then Mr.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Trump.
- 14:18Speaker 6: He is, he is what, come on, come on.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Well, it seems like you guys, it seems to me.
- 14:25Speaker 6: They went to the mob, the Costa Nostra. They went
- 14:28Speaker 6: to them to find out a certain thing. And he's
- 14:32Speaker 6: going to, you're supposed to believe whatever would come out
- 14:35Speaker 6: of his mouth. Are you, are you, you people have got, no,
- 14:39Speaker 6: I don't want to say you people. It's getting so stupid.
- 14:43Speaker 6: Everything is out there. It's just all one... Like the
- 14:47Speaker 6: woman was just talking about Iran and all that over there.
- 14:51Speaker 6: That should have never happened. It should have never happened.
- 14:55Speaker 6: Everything was in place to keep that nuclear program under check.
- 15:00Speaker 6: And here we are. All he's doing is... manipulating the market, period.
- 15:07Speaker 6: You know he's made over $ 2 billion in this last
- 15:12Speaker 6: go-around with being president. He's made over $ 2 billion.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Stand by. Let me do my commercials back with Fifth Avenue.
- 15:22Speaker 1: News Radio 570, WKBN and Ron Furman. I'll be right back.
- 15:29Speaker 1: If you run a business, you know, 570 WKBN. Seems
- 15:33Speaker 1: to me you've got a double standard when it comes
- 15:35Speaker 1: to Trump, you know, with all the persecution that the
- 15:37Speaker 1: Biden Justice Department did against him and his family. Hell,
- 15:40Speaker 1: they tried to debank the guy and his entire family,
- 15:43Speaker 1: not just him, his wife, his kids and all that
- 15:46Speaker 1: kind of stuff. I mean, that was how reprehensible the
- 15:48Speaker 1: Biden administration was. I didn't hear you calling pointing that out.
- 15:52Speaker 1: But now you're saying, well.
- 15:54Speaker 6: Everything they did was justified.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Oh, I see.
- 15:58Speaker 6: The Biden administration, whatever they did was justified.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I see.
- 16:03Speaker 6: Now he's going to have immunity when he gets out
- 16:06Speaker 6: of office of all his taxes. Are you kidding me?
- 16:11Speaker 6: Are you kidding me? Come on.
- 16:14Speaker 1: I see. It sounds to me like you've got a
- 16:15Speaker 1: double standard.
- 16:17Speaker 6: No, there's no double standard here. It's just that you
- 16:20Speaker 6: and the Republicans, you just don't want to admit the truth.
- 16:23Speaker 6: Everything that comes out of that guy's mouth is a lie.
- 16:26Speaker 6: You know that. It's a complete lie. I can't believe
- 16:31Speaker 6: anything that the Department of Defense says or Trump or
- 16:36Speaker 6: Blanche or anything. It's all lies.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Well, there is a lot of exaggeration. Like he..
- 16:44Speaker 6: Or it's lies, not exaggeration.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Yeah, like when he said an agreement is nearer with Iran, what,
- 16:50Speaker 1: a couple months ago, yeah?
- 16:53Speaker 6: Todd Blanch, whatever this guy wants, he gives it to him.
- 16:58Speaker 6: And whatever lie that comes out of this man's mouth,
- 17:02Speaker 6: come on, it's out in the open. It's obvious. You
- 17:05Speaker 6: don't have to be a Philadelphia lawyer to figure this
- 17:08Speaker 6: stuff out.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Yeah, and Blanche was his personal attorney. I get that.
- 17:12Speaker 1: You know, I understand that.
- 17:15Speaker 6: Ron, I know, I know deep in your heart, you
- 17:20Speaker 6: know what I'm talking about is the truth. But you
- 17:24Speaker 6: are not, you are not going to, you don't want
- 17:26Speaker 6: to upset your Republican callers that called into you.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Really?
- 17:31Speaker 6: And I know in your heart, you believe what I'm
- 17:34Speaker 6: telling you is the truth. This guy... threat to our
- 17:38Speaker 6: national security at this time is Donald Trump he is
- 17:45Speaker 6: the biggest threat to our national security he is manipulating
- 17:51Speaker 6: the market beyond belief he's making more money than Pelosi
- 17:56Speaker 6: and all the rest of them combined for the last
- 17:59Speaker 6: 50 years and nobody says anything nobody wants to say
- 18:05Speaker 6: anything about it Everybody just kind of... Oh, that's Donald Trump.
- 18:09Speaker 6: What do you... What is this country... What do you
- 18:12Speaker 6: think this country is going to come to? It's going
- 18:14Speaker 6: to come to anarchy. If you don't take care of
- 18:20Speaker 6: this problem.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Jesus.
- 18:25Speaker 6: I'm better off siding the sunshine.
- 18:27Speaker 1: No, you're not. No, you're not. You're better off siding.
- 18:30Speaker 6: The air conditioning. I'm better off the sunshine. See, that's why...
- 18:33Speaker 6: That's the other reason I... Because... It's upside down. Everything
- 18:38Speaker 6: is upside down with this guy. Again, it is as
- 18:42Speaker 6: obvious as the nose on your... Nothing is being done
- 18:45Speaker 6: in smoky back rooms anymore. It's being done right in
- 18:49Speaker 6: front of your face.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Now, did you vote for Kamala Harris?
- 18:56Speaker 6: I voted for Joe Biden.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Well, he didn't run against Trump. He ran the first time.
- 19:05Speaker 1: I'm talking when Trump just won his last election.
- 19:09Speaker 6: No, I did not.
- 19:10Speaker 5: No.
- 19:11Speaker 1: You didn't vote for Harris?
- 19:12Speaker 3: Nope.
- 19:14Speaker 1: And you didn't?
- 19:15Speaker 6: I'm not going to vote for Harris.
- 19:17Speaker 1: And you didn't vote for Trump.
- 19:18Speaker 6: And men should not be in women's sports. And men
- 19:23Speaker 6: can't have babies. And you've asked me these things a
- 19:27Speaker 6: thousand times.
- 19:28Speaker 1: I was just asking. So you didn't vote for Harris
- 19:31Speaker 1: and you didn't vote for Trump. That's all I'm asking.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I'm just trying to get a read on you.
- 19:36Speaker 6: Well, what do you want to read? I am anti-Trump
- 19:40Speaker 6: to the core. To the core. I mean, so you.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Don't think he's– you just can't stand the guy or
- 19:48Speaker 1: is it his policies? Or both?
- 19:50Speaker 6: It's both. It's both. This guy is the biggest grifter, liar, thief,
- 19:58Speaker 6: that unimaginable proportions. And the Todd Blanches and the rest
- 20:04Speaker 6: of those sycophants that he has... Allow him to get
- 20:09Speaker 6: away with what he's getting away with. I just hope,
- 20:13Speaker 6: I'm hoping beyond hope, that come November, I'm hoping beyond hope,
- 20:19Speaker 6: that the landslide happens. Do I want the alternative? No.
- 20:25Speaker 6: I understand what the alternative is with a lot of that...
- 20:29Speaker 6: I don't want the democratic socialism either. I don't want that.
- 20:33Speaker 6: I don't want that to happen.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Stand by, stand by. I'll let you finish your thought.
- 20:37Speaker 1: I'll let you finish in a minute.
- 20:43Speaker 7: The House Ethics Committee is opening an investigation into Max Miller,
- 20:47Speaker 7: Republican congressman who's the former son-in-law of Ohio Republican Senator
- 20:51Speaker 7: Bernie Moreno, is under a deadline of tomorrow to make
- 20:54Speaker 7: a decision on whether to continue in the race for
- 20:57Speaker 7: re-election from Ohio's 7th District. If you like historic sites,
- 21:02Speaker 7: there's one in Cincinnati that's getting a lot of attention.
- 21:05Speaker 7: The Harriet Beecher Stowe House is enjoying a surge of
- 21:09Speaker 7: popularity since the completion of its restoration a couple of
- 21:12Speaker 7: years ago.
- 21:13Speaker 1: And since that time, we have seen about a 40%
- 21:17Speaker 1: increase in attendance.
- 21:19Speaker 7: Christina Hartlieb is executive director shortly after leaving Cincinnati. Harriet
- 21:24Speaker 7: Beecher Stowe wrote the legendary anti-slavery book Uncle Tom's Cabin.
- 21:29Speaker 1: I'm Matt Reese.
- 21:30Speaker 5: Listen on the free iHeartRadio app for all your music, news, talk,
- 21:34Speaker 5: and sports radio.
- 21:35Speaker 6: Podcasts, too.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Download the app. Free never sounded so good. Now, Ron
- 21:42Speaker 1: Verb on NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 21:53Speaker 5: All right.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Well, I'm deeply troubled by your hatred of Trump.
- 22:01Speaker 6: Hatred? It's standing up for what's right. It's standing up
- 22:09Speaker 6: for what the Constitution says. Not letting someone, I don't
- 22:15Speaker 6: care who it is, step all over it like this
- 22:17Speaker 6: guy has done. You know I'm speaking the truth. You
- 22:21Speaker 6: know it. I'm not some... You know I'm speaking the truth,
- 22:27Speaker 6: and this guy is stepping all over it. He's giving
- 22:30Speaker 6: this country... I mean, the other countries can't stand this
- 22:35Speaker 6: anymore because of what he's done.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Oh, gosh.
- 22:41Speaker 6: I probably have 50 things in front of me right here.
- 22:45Speaker 6: that I could talk about until tomorrow, next week. The
- 22:50Speaker 6: impeachable offenses of Donald Trump. I'm going to read you
- 22:55Speaker 6: five of them.
- 22:57Speaker 1: These are just Democratic talking points.
- 22:59Speaker 6: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. That's not true.
- 23:03Speaker 6: That's not, no. Get away from that Republican talking points.
- 23:08Speaker 6: And this is the truth. It isn't... Does every Republican... Well,
- 23:16Speaker 6: most of them are. Most of them under his tutelage.
- 23:18Speaker 6: They're enamored by him. They're afraid of him. He pardoned
- 23:26Speaker 6: 1,500 right-wing domestic terrorists that attacked America, and he wants
- 23:32Speaker 6: to pay them $ 1. 8 billion of your money. Now, if
- 23:39Speaker 6: that isn't the worst thing, situation that you could come,
- 23:45Speaker 6: that is just unbelievable to even think that up. These
- 23:50Speaker 6: people that broke into the Capitol, who wants to pay
- 23:54Speaker 6: them money, your money? You don't say anything about it.
- 23:59Speaker 6: Hubbard refuses to obey court orders, tries to refuse due process,
- 24:04Speaker 6: weakens the environmental laws, threatens and mocks our allies, refuses
- 24:09Speaker 6: to condemn Russian invasion of Ukraine. Tries to limit freedom
- 24:13Speaker 6: of speech of any political opponent. These aren't lies. These
- 24:18Speaker 6: aren't talking points. These are truths.
- 24:22Speaker 1: These are Democrat opinions.
- 24:24Speaker 6: Oh, my God. Oh, sweet Jesus.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Yes.
- 24:29Speaker 6: Oh, sweet Jesus.
- 24:29Speaker 1: I think you've been in the heat too long today.
- 24:32Speaker 6: I'm sorry. I feel bad. I do. I feel bad
- 24:36Speaker 6: that you think like that. I do. I'm not trying
- 24:39Speaker 6: to convert you to anything. I'm not trying to. I'm not.
- 24:43Speaker 6: I'm not. I'm really not. Now, if the Republicans have
- 24:48Speaker 6: told lies for so long that it has turned into
- 24:53Speaker 6: truth and, you know, I'm telling the truth.
- 24:58Speaker 1: All right. Go get creeping, Charlie.
- 25:02Speaker 6: I got more.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Now, that's enough. I can't.
- 25:06Speaker 6: You can't.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I can't take any more choices.
- 25:08Speaker 6: All right.
- 25:11Speaker 1: See you. You're on air.
- 25:16Speaker 5: Well, maybe you should take two days off because this
- 25:18Speaker 5: has been a great show. But to start off with
- 25:21Speaker 5: the last conversation we had, I want to apologize to
- 25:24Speaker 5: you for that because I really, really, really blew my top,
- 25:29Speaker 5: you know, just like the last caller. And as much
- 25:32Speaker 5: as I can stand, I couldn't stand anymore. So for that,
- 25:36Speaker 5: I will apologize. You always told me don't bite your tongue.
- 25:39Speaker 5: And as far as Bubba Ganuch goes, listen, maybe back
- 25:43Speaker 5: in the day he might be able to dance like
- 25:45Speaker 5: a clinger. But I've seen that man dance now. Ain't
- 25:48Speaker 5: no woman going to be with him. That ain't going
- 25:49Speaker 5: to happen. Now, as far as the lady they call,
- 25:54Speaker 5: this tweet race, a.k.a.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Battle Action.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Yes.
- 26:01Speaker 5: I want her to know, right? That I pray all
- 26:04Speaker 5: the time. I'm like you, Rob. I raise dollars. And
- 26:07Speaker 5: when you raise a girl, you pray all the time.
- 26:13Speaker 5: So there's nothing wrong with praying. And I believe a
- 26:15Speaker 5: lot more people are praying that are getting credit for it.
- 26:18Speaker 5: You know what I mean? And this is the last one.
- 26:22Speaker 5: This is a good one, too.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Yes, I'm ready.
- 26:25Speaker 5: Now, you ain't as young as you used to be.
- 26:27Speaker 5: You got a lot going on, and you might not
- 26:29Speaker 5: remember this.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Okay, so let's get this scenario. I'm not as young
- 26:34Speaker 1: as I used to be, and I might not remember
- 26:35Speaker 1: this because I'm senile or have dementia. Okay, go ahead.
- 26:40Speaker 5: Okay, well, maybe about 15, maybe 17 years ago.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Yeah, 17 years ago. Okay, I can't even remember yesterday.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 26:50Speaker 5: Me and you had a conversation. This was when President
- 26:53Speaker 5: Trump had just came on the scene. And I asked you,
- 26:58Speaker 5: you know, what do you think you're going to get
- 27:03Speaker 5: from the president? And you asked me what I thought
- 27:08Speaker 5: he was going to do. And then I told you something.
- 27:14Speaker 5: I asked you a question, and I believe you told
- 27:17Speaker 5: me that it wouldn't happen because he was too smart.
- 27:20Speaker 5: I said to you, Well, what if he does all
- 27:25Speaker 5: that and he's like Kennedy and he has a whole
- 27:29Speaker 5: bunch of people around him that are going to hurt him?
- 27:33Speaker 5: You know, because Kennedy had his brother as Attorney General.
- 27:37Speaker 5: Remember that?
- 27:38Speaker 3: Yes.
- 27:40Speaker 5: Kennedy really started the Vietnam War. Remember that?
- 27:44Speaker 3: Yes.
- 27:45Speaker 5: You remember McNamara and Westmoreland, all the people around him?
- 27:51Speaker 5: I said I was worried about that. Are we looking
- 27:54Speaker 5: at that now with Donald Trump?
- 27:56Speaker 1: We're looking at a mess with Donald Trump. I mean,
- 27:59Speaker 1: I say it. I take a lot of criticism from people.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I think we're looking at a serious mess. I've said
- 28:06Speaker 1: it before. I think he thought this would be over
- 28:08Speaker 1: and done with and be a lot easier than it is.
- 28:11Speaker 1: You're looking at a major miscalculation of Donald Trump and
- 28:15Speaker 1: a mess that he has created. And I don't know
- 28:19Speaker 1: what the outcome will be or what the exit ramp
- 28:21Speaker 1: will be at this point.
- 28:23Speaker 5: Okay, can you think about this? You are a businessman.
- 28:28Speaker 5: You are running a business. You have people up under
- 28:31Speaker 5: you running different sections. And when you need to make
- 28:35Speaker 5: a major move that's involved the whole company, you get
- 28:39Speaker 5: input from the people that are running the company.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Yes.
- 28:44Speaker 5: I refuse to believe that Donald Trump did this all
- 28:48Speaker 5: by himself. There had to be some people in the
- 28:51Speaker 5: room saying, boss, this is going to happen. I think
- 28:56Speaker 5: he got bad information. In my personal opinion.
- 29:01Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know if he had bad
- 29:04Speaker 1: information or if he just I mean, ultimately, he made
- 29:08Speaker 1: the final decision. It's it seems to me just my
- 29:12Speaker 1: perception based on the cabinet meetings that I do see,
- 29:16Speaker 1: which I. Talk with a lot of a lot of
- 29:19Speaker 1: Trump supporters. I get a little tired. There's some things
- 29:22Speaker 1: of Donald Trump that do wear thin with me. This
- 29:24Speaker 1: idea of naming everything after him or whatever these cabinet
- 29:28Speaker 1: members are. Oh, we're going to call it the Trump this,
- 29:30Speaker 1: the Trump that. And it's just that gets a little
- 29:33Speaker 1: old with me real fast. You know, like the Trump
- 29:35Speaker 1: Kennedy Trump Center and these basically ask questions. that want
- 29:40Speaker 1: to put his name on everything. Enough of that already.
- 29:44Speaker 1: I've had my fill of that. And when I watch
- 29:46Speaker 1: these cabinet meetings, it seems a lot of those cabinet
- 29:48Speaker 1: people just sit there and really, truly just kiss the
- 29:52Speaker 1: guy's ass, and it's sickening. to watch some of it.
- 29:57Speaker 1: So I don't know if there's any dissent as far
- 30:00Speaker 1: as discussion is concerned with Trump or if there's a
- 30:04Speaker 1: fear to give him any dissent.
- 30:07Speaker 5: You just answered my question. Because if you got people
- 30:10Speaker 5: sitting around him, sitting on their ass and sitting on
- 30:13Speaker 5: their hands saying, yes, sir, yes, sir, then he got
- 30:15Speaker 5: some bad people around him.
- 30:16Speaker 1: If you got people around you that are afraid to
- 30:18Speaker 1: speak up and because what difference does it make or
- 30:22Speaker 1: he'll retaliate, then any good boss is going to listen
- 30:27Speaker 1: to people that agree with their decision, and he's also
- 30:29Speaker 1: going to listen to ones that disagree with their decision. Remember,
- 30:33Speaker 1: Kennedy would listen when it came to the Cuban Missile Crisis,
- 30:38Speaker 1: where if he listened to his military, we would have
- 30:41Speaker 1: got into a major conflict there. But he listened to
- 30:46Speaker 1: what they had to say, and then he thought it through,
- 30:48Speaker 1: and he made the final decision and the correct decision
- 30:51Speaker 1: to prevent that from happening.
- 30:53Speaker 5: Do you think that actually happened in the skiff with
- 30:56Speaker 5: Donald Trump? Or do you think Donald Trump is going
- 30:58Speaker 5: to say he's smarter than everybody else, the smartest person
- 31:00Speaker 5: in the room? I'm going to make the decision no
- 31:02Speaker 5: matter what you guys say.
- 31:05Speaker 1: I would have a tendency to probably think the latter.
- 31:09Speaker 1: I think he makes the final decision no matter what
- 31:11Speaker 1: you have to say.
- 31:13Speaker 5: Well, my brother, welcome back.
- 31:14Speaker 1: And one more thing.
- 31:15Speaker 5: When you guys get to talking about the next generation,
- 31:18Speaker 5: think about what our kids are doing and our grandkids
- 31:21Speaker 5: are doing, and think about that young man who is brilliant, right?
- 31:24Speaker 5: Even though we don't get along. We get along, but
- 31:27Speaker 5: we don't agree on everything. But I think Alex is brilliant.
- 31:30Speaker 5: You have a good day, man.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Thank you. You're on the air.
- 31:33Speaker 4: I think we're the last of the great generation, Ron.
- 31:37Speaker 4: But Donald's got it right. He's following the money. He's
- 31:41Speaker 4: following the money. He's a businessman. He's following the money.
- 31:45Speaker 4: And I think it goes back to Saudi Arabia. Saudi
- 31:51Speaker 4: Arabia controls Iran, and Iran does the dirty work. I'm thinking,
- 31:58Speaker 4: but Donald is following the money. That's what it's all about,
- 32:02Speaker 4: money and power. Not the people, not the religion, not...
- 32:10Speaker 4: Baseball or basketball, women's basketball, it's about the money. Money
- 32:16Speaker 4: and power. Donald knows money. He's a capitalist, like me.
- 32:21Speaker 4: I'm a capitalist. I know money. That's why I'm not married.
- 32:25Speaker 4: But anyhow, so where are we going to go from here?
- 32:31Speaker 1: Well, I don't know. You made the phone call. I
- 32:33Speaker 1: was trying to figure out what the hell you were
- 32:34Speaker 1: saying in the first place. I felt myself, I mean,
- 32:37Speaker 1: just in listening to your initial comments, I felt myself
- 32:40Speaker 1: getting dumber the more you talked.
- 32:43Speaker 4: Well, no, I got to get my points in quick.
- 32:47Speaker 4: Because you never know when the next caller is going
- 32:50Speaker 4: to come on, but you guys excite me, especially today.
- 32:55Speaker 4: I don't know what it is about today, but because
- 32:59Speaker 4: you took a couple days off. I think that's what
- 33:02Speaker 4: it is.
- 33:02Speaker 1: You know, absence makes the heart grow fonder.
- 33:05Speaker 6: It is.
- 33:07Speaker 4: Less is more.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Yes. Yes, absolutely.
- 33:10Speaker 4: Don't hang up. No, I'm not done.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Okay. I won't hang up. I'm perfectly comfortable listening to you.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Did I tell you the.
- 33:20Speaker 4: Story about Uncle Bill and Chester when they were fishing
- 33:28Speaker 4: on the Grand River in a steamy summer night? And
- 33:34Speaker 4: they were trolling. They were trolling. That's a point that
- 33:40Speaker 4: I'm making. They were trolling. And they got this lantern
- 33:47Speaker 4: on the canoe, and this big muskie comes swimming up
- 33:52Speaker 4: right next to the boat. And Uncle Bill did what
- 33:57Speaker 4: he naturally did. He just reached down there and grabbed
- 34:00Speaker 4: that muskie and rolled it in the canoe, and sat
- 34:04Speaker 4: on it and grabbed the tail. And he told, Chester, Chester,
- 34:08Speaker 4: grab the head. And Uncle Bill looked back, and Chester
- 34:13Speaker 4: was gone.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Really? Wow.
- 34:17Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Thanks for sharing.
- 34:19Speaker 4: That's the best I got today.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Thanks. That's not good. You're on the air. Where have
- 34:24Speaker 1: you been? It's the boss lady.
- 34:27Speaker 3: What have you been doing? You've been out in Florida.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I've been keeping a low profile.
- 34:33Speaker 3: I don't blame you. I'm trying to, too.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Really? It's not working so good for you.
- 34:39Speaker 6: It's not working so good.
- 34:42Speaker 3: I've been trying, kind of.
- 34:44Speaker 1: I know, but you just keep gaining popularity.
- 34:50Speaker 3: I'm quieting. You know, somebody came up to me and said,
- 34:52Speaker 3: are you the boss lady?
- 34:54Speaker 1: You are the boss lady.
- 34:54Speaker 3: And I started laughing. I know, but I started laughing.
- 34:57Speaker 3: I said, oh, my God. How do you recognize me?
- 35:00Speaker 3: You want to know the funniest part?
- 35:01Speaker 1: Yes.
- 35:02Speaker 3: Someone came up to my sister and said, are you?
- 35:06Speaker 3: are you on video? Do you, are you on social media?
- 35:09Speaker 3: And she goes, no, that's my sister. So they're not
- 35:13Speaker 3: thinking it's her, my sister.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Why do you guys, do you guys look like sisters? Obviously.
- 35:18Speaker 6: Yes.
- 35:19Speaker 5: Yes.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Everybody thinks for twins, but I don't think we look
- 35:22Speaker 3: that much alike, but people think we look very alike.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Isn't that interesting. So your sister is putting up with
- 35:28Speaker 1: the guff that you create the controversy that you create.
- 35:32Speaker 3: So I'm just going to keep telling people, no, that's
- 35:34Speaker 3: my sister. And then she's going to, Yeah. I'm listening.
- 35:37Speaker 3: So I know that's my sister. It's hilarious.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Boy, that is a night. That is to find out
- 35:44Speaker 1: really bad. That isn't really fair to your sister.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Oh, it is. If you knew where it'd be fair.
- 35:48Speaker 1: I'm kidding. Well, I can see, I can see that
- 35:54Speaker 1: there's a little sister love here. All right.
- 35:57Speaker 3: Oh, it's always, it's always a treat with us. My
- 36:01Speaker 3: youngest sister's real quiet, but she's a sniper.
- 36:05Speaker 6: I'm not quiet.
- 36:06Speaker 3: Yeah, she's really quiet, but she's a sniper quiet. She's
- 36:10Speaker 3: like a samurai warrior quiet. Sneak up on you.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Man, I tell you, you got to watch out for you,
- 36:20Speaker 1: you Italian women. You know, I got a lot to
- 36:24Speaker 1: worry about, folks. I got Ted the Conservative always going
- 36:26Speaker 1: to Jersey with Creeping Charlie, and now I got... These
- 36:33Speaker 1: two that I got to worry about. You know, there's
- 36:36Speaker 1: nothing but troublemakers out there. So what have you been
- 36:40Speaker 1: devoting your time to? Because this ought to be interesting.
- 36:44Speaker 3: Well, right now I'm super excited because we get to
- 36:47Speaker 3: find out the outcome of their little polling meeting today.
- 36:50Speaker 3: Are we broke or are we not broke?
- 36:52Speaker 1: Well, what do you make of that situation? Huh?
- 36:55Speaker 3: I think it's a bunch of hogwash. I think that
- 36:57Speaker 3: they just are. They're backtracking right now because they know
- 37:00Speaker 3: how terrible that meeting came off. The fire alarm was
- 37:04Speaker 3: pulled to get everybody's panties in a twist. And then
- 37:09Speaker 3: Anguero went on the other Youngstown Studio podcast. And basically
- 37:16Speaker 3: said that, no, everything's fine. So I don't know how
- 37:22Speaker 3: you ask for a levy if you're gonna say everything's fine.
- 37:24Speaker 3: That's what I'd like to know. I think they got
- 37:26Speaker 3: a lot of explaining to do. You're gonna ask for
- 37:28Speaker 3: three mil and you wanna portray everything's fine only because
- 37:32Speaker 3: you're trying to Well, your meeting was and help your
- 37:38Speaker 3: lack of understanding of the depth and breadth of the
- 37:42Speaker 3: issue at hand. So I'm not going to call it
- 37:44Speaker 3: scary anymore at all. I'm going to say we don't.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Need a levy. Everything's fine.
- 37:50Speaker 3: Yeah, if everything's fine, then everything's fine.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Okay, good.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Wait a minute. Before I left for a few days,
- 37:58Speaker 1: we heard that meeting and we heard what the guy
- 38:00Speaker 1: that's in charge of money had to say. That doesn't
- 38:04Speaker 1: seem like everything's fine to me.
- 38:06Speaker 3: No kidding, Ron. No kidding. But do you know how
- 38:08Speaker 3: dumb you have to be to go on to a
- 38:12Speaker 3: studio podcast and then say all is well in the
- 38:16Speaker 3: hood and then ask for money? Do you know what
- 38:20Speaker 3: kind of a stew nod you must be to do that?
- 38:24Speaker 3: Because guess what? You already gave me my talking points.
- 38:26Speaker 3: No need to pass this levy. I mean, they're good.
- 38:28Speaker 3: They're good in the hood.
- 38:30Speaker 1: It's so bizarre to me. It's because they're covering. This
- 38:35Speaker 1: doesn't make a lick of sense.
- 38:37Speaker 3: Not a lick. Not a lick. It's entertaining to me
- 38:43Speaker 3: because you're trying to watch them finagle out. All they
- 38:46Speaker 3: had to say was, it's on me. You know what?
- 38:49Speaker 3: I should ask better questions. This will never happen again.
- 38:53Speaker 3: We were caught with our pants down.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Stand by.
- 38:57Speaker 3: And we need money.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Stand by. This is interesting. The continuing economic situation in Poland.
- 39:02Speaker 1: Back in a minute. Looking to upgrade your bathroom? Hi,
- 39:08Speaker 1: this is WKBN. Well, something doesn't seem right here in
- 39:11Speaker 1: Poland Township to me. So the initial meeting, which I
- 39:15Speaker 1: think it was fairly accurate when they had that special meeting,
- 39:18Speaker 1: and they're putting this levy on, said they're running out
- 39:20Speaker 1: of money. How has anything changed since then, boss lady?
- 39:24Speaker 3: Nothing changed since then, but the fact of the matter is,
- 39:27Speaker 3: is then I started screaming. truly honestly i think it's
- 39:31Speaker 3: because i started screaming and saying what idiots how did
- 39:34Speaker 3: you guys not know this what's going on so then
- 39:37Speaker 3: they don't want to admit that they're idiots and didn't
- 39:40Speaker 3: know what was going on so they just went like
- 39:41Speaker 3: no it's all fine in the neighborhood And they positioned
- 39:45Speaker 3: that way. Now, do you know how stupid you have
- 39:47Speaker 3: to be to do that when you want three mil?
- 39:51Speaker 3: Do you know how dumb that makes you? It makes you, Ron,
- 39:56Speaker 3: I just laugh. I don't know how these people exist.
- 40:00Speaker 1: How do they exist?
- 40:01Speaker 3: You thought that was your power play? I'll just say
- 40:03Speaker 3: it's all good. And then I'll still ask for a
- 40:06Speaker 3: three mil levy. Because now I have my talking points.
- 40:11Speaker 3: They don't need any money. No, I don't care.
- 40:13Speaker 5: Nope, nope.
- 40:14Speaker 3: You're a trustee. You're saying you don't need any money.
- 40:17Speaker 3: We'll see what they vote today. Now they're all three
- 40:19Speaker 3: getting together today. Now you know what I think is
- 40:21Speaker 3: going to happen? Today they're going to vote and they're
- 40:23Speaker 3: going to vote to put the levy.
- 40:24Speaker 1: On the ballot.
- 40:25Speaker 3: And then he's going to have to go back on
- 40:27Speaker 3: what he just said Friday.
- 40:30Speaker 1: I mean, it seems..
- 40:30Speaker 3: It's a three-ring circus.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Tell me if I'm wrong here. It seems like no
- 40:35Speaker 1: one was paying attention to where the dollars and cents,
- 40:37Speaker 1: and they were making decisions on things that they couldn't afford.
- 40:40Speaker 1: And now they're trying to fire a sailor's Tahoe that
- 40:43Speaker 1: the police department needs. I mean, how is that proper
- 40:47Speaker 1: management of doing the responsibility that you were elected to do?
- 40:50Speaker 2: It's not.
- 40:52Speaker 3: It's not. It's not. And you know what? I bet
- 40:56Speaker 3: you they're going to vote. They're going to scramble because
- 40:58Speaker 3: I think it's the deadline. I think the deadline to
- 41:01Speaker 3: put something on the ballot. What did Denise say last week?
- 41:05Speaker 3: It's got to be tomorrow. Is it the 5th? I
- 41:08Speaker 3: think it's the 5th. It's either the 5th or the
- 41:10Speaker 3: 6th is the deadline to get it on the ballot.
- 41:13Speaker 3: So they're meeting today. They met at 5 o'clock. And
- 41:20Speaker 3: hopefully somebody was there to record. Oh, no, it's being recorded.
- 41:23Speaker 3: So I'll be watching that for my nightly entertainment. I'll
- 41:29Speaker 3: giggle and laugh. I'll send you the recap, Ron. You'll
- 41:33Speaker 3: be the first on my recap.
- 41:35Speaker 1: I would like to. Yeah, I would like to do
- 41:38Speaker 1: that because, I mean, it seems to me they've got
- 41:41Speaker 1: a financial mess in Poland Township. They probably need this levy.
- 41:45Speaker 1: Not probably. They need this levy for their police departments.
- 41:48Speaker 1: And they're trying to act like they were on top
- 41:51Speaker 1: of things when they really weren't on top of things.
- 41:54Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 41:55Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 41:56Speaker 5: You know what?
- 41:56Speaker 3: Here's what you do in business. You just face into it.
- 41:58Speaker 3: You just got to face into it, own it, and
- 42:00Speaker 3: move along. You would steal all the smoke in the room,
- 42:04Speaker 3: all the air you would suck it, all the oxygen
- 42:07Speaker 3: out of the room if you just owned it and
- 42:09Speaker 3: moved on.
- 42:09Speaker 6: Right?
- 42:13Speaker 1: It's just what you're telling me, the reversal or the
- 42:17Speaker 1: explanation is just strange to me. The whole damn thing. Well,
- 42:21Speaker 1: tomorrow ought to be an interesting day, folks, when the
- 42:24Speaker 1: boss leads.
- 42:25Speaker 3: I'm going to give a recap tomorrow.
- 42:27Speaker 1: Stay tuned. Sort this all out and explain it so
- 42:31Speaker 1: the rest of us can understand. Thank you, boss lady.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Stay on top of things.
- 42:34Speaker 3: Have a good night.
- 42:35Speaker 1: She's making it happen. Ron Perp from the Kingdom of Mahoning,
- 42:38Speaker 1: News Radio 570 WQEN. Sean's coming up.
- 42:41Speaker 7: I know that hiring can be
