Latest / The BLAZE (Bible Study) / Morning Devotion from John: Know Your Purpose
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Listen, this is possible only because God woke me up.
- 0:04Speaker 1: God woke you up. And he's making it possible for
- 0:08Speaker 1: us to learn what he's saying about our purpose, which
- 0:10Speaker 1: is so important. Jesus knew exactly. A lot of people say, oh,
- 0:14Speaker 1: Jesus didn't know what he was doing, who he was.
- 0:17Speaker 1: And that's a lie. The scripture literally says that Jesus
- 0:20Speaker 1: knew his purpose. He knew that the father had placed
- 0:23Speaker 1: everything into his hands. He knew everything. that he was
- 0:27Speaker 1: the hope, that only hope that we had, and he
- 0:29Speaker 1: knew that he came from God and that he was
- 0:32Speaker 1: going to return to God. He knew. Where did he
- 0:34Speaker 1: get this confidence from? He got it because he knew
- 0:37Speaker 1: exactly what God was saying. He knew the Father because
- 0:40Speaker 1: the Father, the Son, and the Holy One are all
- 0:44Speaker 1: three in one. Amen? Monotheistic. I know people say, oh,
- 0:48Speaker 1: that's three gods. You know, mathematically, it's impossible. Listen, if
- 0:52Speaker 1: we could explain the triune God just like that and
- 0:55Speaker 1: explain it away, and figure out how he did that,
- 0:58Speaker 1: then I don't think he'll be such an amazing God, all-powerful, almighty, all-knowing,
- 1:04Speaker 1: omnipresent God that we serve, right? Why would you think
- 1:09Speaker 1: that you can figure out God, right? Why would anyone
- 1:13Speaker 1: think that they could figure out God? I don't know
- 1:16Speaker 1: if that's even possible, to tell you the truth. We
- 1:19Speaker 1: don't figure out God. God has us figured out. How
- 1:22Speaker 1: about that? Can I say that? God has us figured out.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Jesus knew where he came from. He knew what he
- 1:32Speaker 1: had been given. He knew where he was going. Do
- 1:38Speaker 1: we know that? Do we know where we came from,
- 1:42Speaker 1: our origin? Do we know what that means, where we
- 1:46Speaker 1: came from? Now that we know where we came from,
- 1:48Speaker 1: what does that mean to be human? What does that mean?
- 1:51Speaker 1: Do we know the morality that God taught He actually
- 1:54Speaker 1: placed morality and wrote it on our hearts. The law
- 1:57Speaker 1: of God is written on our hearts, the Bible says. Amen.
- 2:00Speaker 1: And we know our purpose now because the Holy Spirit
- 2:03Speaker 1: reminds us of our purpose. And we know where we're going.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Our destination, our destiny belongs in heaven. Amen. So Jesus
- 2:11Speaker 1: knew where he came from, what he had been given,
- 2:14Speaker 1: and where he was going. So that knowledge gave him
- 2:16Speaker 1: confidence to serve others wholeheartedly, to serve others, even when
- 2:22Speaker 1: the moment required... Humility, right? A lot of people are
- 2:27Speaker 1: not showing humility anymore. I don't know why. Some people
- 2:31Speaker 1: actually think, man, I did this for so long. I
- 2:33Speaker 1: believe that I don't have to do this anymore. I
- 2:36Speaker 1: don't have to do that anymore. Yes, I'm just checking
- 2:39Speaker 1: the mic. I don't have to do this anymore. I
- 2:41Speaker 1: don't have to do that anymore. Like there's a graduation. Like, oh,
- 2:47Speaker 1: I used to clean the toilets. I used to do evangelism.
- 2:50Speaker 1: But now since I'm a leader, so-and-so, You know, I
- 2:52Speaker 1: leave that to the evangelism team. I leave that to
- 2:55Speaker 1: the cleaning team. Oh, high horses, not a good thing
- 3:00Speaker 1: to be on in the kingdom of God. We're all
- 3:03Speaker 1: in this together. We're all serving the holy, true, loving,
- 3:06Speaker 1: righteous God. Amen. So there's never really a graduation when
- 3:10Speaker 1: it comes to serving. I don't think so. I know
- 3:13Speaker 1: some people have this hierarchy in their church systems, in
- 3:16Speaker 1: their ministry. Amen. That's the way you want to run it.
- 3:20Speaker 1: That's between them and the Lord. But I don't see
- 3:23Speaker 1: where that's at. All I see is my Lord, my Savior,
- 3:26Speaker 1: Jesus the Christ, humbling himself in the form of a
- 3:29Speaker 1: man to serve. He said, I didn't come to be served.
- 3:33Speaker 1: I came to serve and to give my life up
- 3:35Speaker 1: as a ransom. The Lord said that. So who am
- 3:38Speaker 1: I to say, you know what? I don't do that
- 3:40Speaker 1: no more because, you know, I'll leave that to the team.
- 3:44Speaker 1: You know, I'm above that now. Nah, you ain't going
- 3:46Speaker 1: to hear that from my mouth. I'm going to stay humble.
- 3:49Speaker 1: The pride and all that stuff. I don't want to
- 3:52Speaker 1: deal with that in my life. Amen. What about you?
- 3:55Speaker 1: You don't have to chase every opportunity either. You don't
- 3:58Speaker 1: have to chase them. Or if I don't do this,
- 4:00Speaker 1: then nobody's going to recognize me for doing X, Y, Z.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Don't follow that either because that's not true. Don't follow
- 4:07Speaker 1: every crowd. I was just telling my daughter this last night.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Don't follow. You don't have to follow everybody. Be yourself.
- 4:14Speaker 1: God made you uniquely you. Amen. And he did it wonderfully.
- 4:19Speaker 1: We're wonderfully made, fearfully and wonderfully made, the Bible says.
- 4:23Speaker 1: So you don't have to chase people, chase crowds. You
- 4:26Speaker 1: don't have to prove yourself to anyone. This whole thing
- 4:29Speaker 1: about I'm going to let them know, I'm going to
- 4:31Speaker 1: show them, you know, that's like our hip-hop mentality, rap
- 4:35Speaker 1: mentality that I grew up in, you know, very competitive.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I'm going to show this group. I'm going to show
- 4:40Speaker 1: this block. I'm going to show this community. I'm going
- 4:42Speaker 1: to show this neighborhood. I'm going to show this, you know, whatever.
- 4:45Speaker 1: And you start, you know, doing your raps where you're
- 4:51Speaker 1: prideful and, you know, it's like real arrogant and, you know,
- 4:55Speaker 1: you're boasting, right? So it's like a testimony, but it's
- 4:58Speaker 1: a boastimony, right? So you're boasting. Well, that's not the
- 5:02Speaker 1: real purpose of your life. Even for hip hoppers, that's
- 5:04Speaker 1: not the real purpose. The purpose is to show gifts
- 5:07Speaker 1: and talents, amen, to make people move and dance and
- 5:10Speaker 1: to have hope, right? It was really, hip hop was
- 5:14Speaker 1: really a way to show people where you were from,
- 5:18Speaker 1: what the struggle is and the solution of how to
- 5:21Speaker 1: get out of it and to unite people together. Because
- 5:24Speaker 1: we was all in the same community. So we were
- 5:26Speaker 1: trying to unite people. But then when people started throwing
- 5:30Speaker 1: money towards the community of hip hoppers, right? They said,
- 5:34Speaker 1: if you would just do this and if you just
- 5:35Speaker 1: do that, you see that? You see how the bait
- 5:38Speaker 1: came with informal money? We'll give you X amount of
- 5:42Speaker 1: money if you start talking about that other crew or
- 5:45Speaker 1: that other neighborhood or whatever. East Coast, West Coast, or
- 5:48Speaker 1: if you develop a way to make people follow you
- 5:52Speaker 1: to do X, Y, Z, and we fell into that
- 5:55Speaker 1: trap because we didn't know our purpose. Amen? And I
- 5:57Speaker 1: was part of that, so I can't excuse myself. But now,
- 6:02Speaker 1: when Christ shows up in your life and shows up
- 6:04Speaker 1: in your heart, why are so many hip-hoppers right now,
- 6:07Speaker 1: rappers right now, MCs right now, giving their hearts and
- 6:09Speaker 1: life to the Lord Jesus? Because they finally... got their
- 6:13Speaker 1: eyes open and realized, what am I doing? I was
- 6:16Speaker 1: making money really exploiting my own people, my own community.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I was promoting hate, violence, crime, sex, drugs, alcohol. All
- 6:27Speaker 1: of that was being promoted for a couple of dollars.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Some people were making a lot of the couple of dollars, right?
- 6:33Speaker 1: So it is a temptation to be like, you know what?
- 6:36Speaker 1: I want to come up. I want that money. Join
- 6:39Speaker 1: the crowd. Everybody wants to come up and wants the money. Well,
- 6:42Speaker 1: for what? What would it profit anybody to gain the
- 6:47Speaker 1: world and lose your soul? That's the scripture right there.
- 6:51Speaker 1: So you don't have to prove yourself to anyone. When
- 6:54Speaker 1: you know who you are and whose you are and
- 6:58Speaker 1: what God has called you to do, you can stay focused.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Even when life gets distracting, you and I can stay
- 7:07Speaker 1: focused on the true reason for why we're here, right?
- 7:12Speaker 1: I always say, just make the main things the main things.
- 7:17Speaker 1: The main things are going to remain the main things, amen?
- 7:20Speaker 1: Everything else is like a sidetrack, right? So the gospel
- 7:24Speaker 1: is a message of forgiveness, hope, redemption, salvation, right? Renewal, restoration,
- 7:34Speaker 1: all of it as part of the gospel, right? So
- 7:39Speaker 1: John 3.16 says, and we study that, all throughout my
- 7:44Speaker 1: history of being a podcaster and an online preacher, whatever
- 7:48Speaker 1: you want to call me. But God so loved the world.
- 7:52Speaker 1: He loved us so much that he sent the perfect one,
- 7:55Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus, that whoever believes in him will not
- 7:58Speaker 1: perish but have what? Everlasting life. So the mission of
- 8:02Speaker 1: the Lord was to die so we could live. And
- 8:06Speaker 1: he completed that mission to tell us that it is finished,
- 8:09Speaker 1: Jesus said. He wasn't finished. The mission was finished. Now
- 8:14Speaker 1: we can benefit off of the finished work of the
- 8:18Speaker 1: Lord Jesus Christ, of what he did on that cross, right?
- 8:23Speaker 1: So the gospel is a beautiful message, and some people
- 8:26Speaker 1: call it hate speech. Why? I don't know. They have
- 8:29Speaker 1: their reasons. But I think it's because they don't know who,
- 8:33Speaker 1: first of all, who Jesus is, why he was sent,
- 8:36Speaker 1: the purpose of the Lord, and the purpose of the gospel.
- 8:38Speaker 1: They don't know that. And they might not even know
- 8:41Speaker 1: the purpose of their own lives. So therefore, they're confused.
- 8:44Speaker 1: And the enemy is all up in that confusion. Like, yeah, man,
- 8:47Speaker 1: don't believe that. Those people are crazy. X, Y, Z. No.
- 8:51Speaker 1: When you know who you are, you know whose you are,
- 8:54Speaker 1: and what God called you for, right? You can stay
- 8:57Speaker 1: focused even when life gets distracting. Jesus knew his identity.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Jesus knew his assignment. So anybody that tells you, oh,
- 9:07Speaker 1: Jesus didn't know what he was doing until he got...
- 9:09Speaker 1: 30 years old. No, don't believe that. Jesus knew because
- 9:15Speaker 1: he's all-knowing because he's God, but he humbled himself to
- 9:19Speaker 1: the form of a man. In other words, Jesus is
- 9:21Speaker 1: the God-man. God came in the flesh, humbled himself to
- 9:26Speaker 1: the form of a man named Jesus. Jesus knew his purpose.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Don't let anybody tell you that he didn't know who
- 9:36Speaker 1: he was. He knew his identity. He knew his purpose.
- 9:38Speaker 1: He knew his assignment. He understood that his authority came
- 9:43Speaker 1: from the Father, right? And this is where people say,
- 9:45Speaker 1: you see, you see, if his authority came from the Father,
- 9:48Speaker 1: how could he be God? His authority came from the Father.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Let's say what the scripture says and let Holy Spirit
- 9:54Speaker 1: teach us what that means. So he got his authority
- 9:59Speaker 1: from the Father. his mission came from god and his
- 10:02Speaker 1: destination was to go back to god like he's out
- 10:06Speaker 1: of here he told the disciples listen you're not gonna
- 10:08Speaker 1: have me here all the time and guess what you're
- 10:11Speaker 1: not gonna have me here all the time you're not
- 10:13Speaker 1: gonna be here all the time but when you know
- 10:14Speaker 1: where you're going amen it's worth the fight The righteous
- 10:19Speaker 1: fight is worth the spiritual war that we're going through.
- 10:23Speaker 1: It's worth it because we know where we're headed. So
- 10:25Speaker 1: some people are like, man, I'll do this to you.
- 10:27Speaker 1: I'll do that to you. And I'll be looking at
- 10:28Speaker 1: them like, if God allows you to do that, praise God,
- 10:31Speaker 1: because then I'm going to see the Father soon enough. Right?
- 10:34Speaker 1: It's not really bothersome to me anymore. But if you
- 10:37Speaker 1: don't know who God is, you don't know your purpose,
- 10:39Speaker 1: your destiny, when someone threatens your life, you're going to
- 10:42Speaker 1: be like, oh my God, no, don't do that. You know,
- 10:45Speaker 1: or you might respond in a way that you might
- 10:47Speaker 1: take somebody else's life because you feel that if your
- 10:51Speaker 1: life is gone, your whole family is going to be
- 10:53Speaker 1: ruined or your whole, you know, if you know the purpose,
- 10:57Speaker 1: you know, your destiny. Amen. When those things happen, you know,
- 11:01Speaker 1: rely on God. God says he will protect us. God
- 11:03Speaker 1: has guard us. He will lead us into truth and
- 11:05Speaker 1: he will be with us even to the end of
- 11:08Speaker 1: the age. God is our protector. Pray Psalm 91 over
- 11:12Speaker 1: yourself and your family, amen, and realize how much protection
- 11:15Speaker 1: we have. When God allows things to happen in our lives,
- 11:18Speaker 1: for whatever reason He allows it, that's a God thing.
- 11:21Speaker 1: But if you're in Christ, if you know God, if
- 11:24Speaker 1: you're forgiven, you're born again, you're going to be in
- 11:26Speaker 1: a great place. I mean, family will understand. Some will understand.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Some will have the hope because the Bible says we
- 11:34Speaker 1: don't mourn. Like when we lose a loved one, when
- 11:37Speaker 1: we lose a loved one and that loved one knows Jesus,
- 11:40Speaker 1: is born again. We don't mourn like the world mourns,
- 11:43Speaker 1: that they don't have any hope. They don't have any future, destiny, anything.
- 11:47Speaker 1: But we have hope. We have a future. We have
- 11:49Speaker 1: a destiny. So we mourn differently, as Scripture says. We
- 11:52Speaker 1: don't mourn like the world mourns. We mourn the way
- 11:55Speaker 1: God shows us to mourn. We actually celebrate the life
- 11:59Speaker 1: lived of a born-again believer in our family. What about you? Amen?
- 12:04Speaker 1: So ask yourself, what has God placed in your hands? Right?
- 12:09Speaker 1: What did God give you so that way you could
- 12:12Speaker 1: give out? Well, I don't have nothing, Sam. I'm broke.
- 12:16Speaker 1: People immediately go to their financial situation when people ask,
- 12:20Speaker 1: what do you have? I don't have nothing. I'm broke.
- 12:22Speaker 1: I don't think that's what the kingdom of God is about.
- 12:26Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, the kingdom of God is
- 12:29Speaker 1: never in a broke state, right? When you ask yourself
- 12:33Speaker 1: what God placed in your hands... It's not about the
- 12:36Speaker 1: material possessions we have on earth. It's about what he
- 12:39Speaker 1: placed in your hands supernaturally to give out to someone else. Supernaturally.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Ask the question, where has he called you and me
- 12:48Speaker 1: to serve? Go ahead and serve over that place. I've
- 12:53Speaker 1: been in places serving for years. And serve to serve.
- 12:59Speaker 1: I was even questioned one time, what are you here for?
- 13:02Speaker 1: What's your five-year plan? If it was like a a
- 13:05Speaker 1: job or something. And I said, well, in five years,
- 13:08Speaker 1: I plan to be serving, whether it's here or somewhere else,
- 13:10Speaker 1: I'm going to serve the Lord. Amen. So it was
- 13:13Speaker 1: weird that I was asked, where do you find yourself
- 13:17Speaker 1: in five years here? Like if I was at a
- 13:19Speaker 1: job interview or something, no, I'm going to serve the
- 13:22Speaker 1: Lord wherever I go. How about that? And I don't
- 13:25Speaker 1: even have to be a part of a certain church
- 13:27Speaker 1: to serve the Lord. You don't have to be a
- 13:29Speaker 1: part of a certain, some people only serve when they're
- 13:32Speaker 1: in church. Some people only serve to be seen by
- 13:35Speaker 1: the leaders of their church or their system or their
- 13:39Speaker 1: ministry or whatever, congregation or house of worship, whatever. But
- 13:45Speaker 1: we serve every day. If you know Jesus, you know
- 13:48Speaker 1: we have an opportunity to serve and help other people
- 13:51Speaker 1: get to know Jesus as well. Ask yourself, am I
- 13:54Speaker 1: living according to his purpose or I'm simple-minded, following what
- 13:59Speaker 1: everyone else is doing? That's the simple way out, the
- 14:02Speaker 1: easy way out. While everybody else is doing this, I
- 14:04Speaker 1: want to do it too. And there's a big temptation there,
- 14:07Speaker 1: especially for the young adults right now in our communities, right?
- 14:12Speaker 1: They're looking around, and I know the temptation. I said, man,
- 14:16Speaker 1: I'm here. I'm always in church. I'm always doing this, kumbaya, whatever.
- 14:21Speaker 1: But look at all my other peers, teenagers, young adults,
- 14:25Speaker 1: having all that fun. I want to do that too.
- 14:29Speaker 1: And then they get lured into, God forbid, but people
- 14:32Speaker 1: get lured into that, and then they get beat up
- 14:35Speaker 1: with the the wild living and sin and all that stuff,
- 14:38Speaker 1: and then they come out, Lord willing, they'll come out, repent,
- 14:41Speaker 1: and be like, whew, that's why I wasn't part of
- 14:45Speaker 1: that crowd. That's why I wasn't part of that group.
- 14:47Speaker 1: They start realizing that's not the purpose for my life. Sex, drugs, alcohol, partying,
- 14:53Speaker 1: all of that stuff, that's not it. You're going to
- 14:56Speaker 1: find out real quick if that's what you want to do.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I always tell young people the same thing. If that's
- 15:03Speaker 1: what you want to do, you're going to find out
- 15:05Speaker 1: quick that that's not going to satisfy you. It's only
- 15:08Speaker 1: going to be a temporary fix, temporary high, temporary satisfaction,
- 15:11Speaker 1: but it's not going to take you to the place
- 15:13Speaker 1: where God wants to take you. And as a matter
- 15:15Speaker 1: of fact, you might not see it now, but God
- 15:18Speaker 1: is always working things out for the good, for those
- 15:21Speaker 1: who love him and are called according to his purpose. Amen.
- 15:26Speaker 1: So just follow, believe Jesus, follow Jesus, and you'll start
- 15:30Speaker 1: getting the benefits of of living a life that's in abundance.
- 15:34Speaker 1: And people are going to see that in your life.
- 15:36Speaker 1: They're going to see that in my life. And they're
- 15:38Speaker 1: going to question, what do you do? How is it
- 15:41Speaker 1: that you are living a certain way that is opposite
- 15:45Speaker 1: or opposed or different than everybody else around you? And
- 15:49Speaker 1: that's a talking piece. That's an opportunity right then and
- 15:53Speaker 1: there to share the gospel to other people through your
- 15:56Speaker 1: own testimony, through your own life. It doesn't have to
- 15:59Speaker 1: be spotless. It's not going to be spotless. It's not
- 16:01Speaker 1: going to be 100% all the time. Because we have
- 16:05Speaker 1: a fallen nature to us that we're resisting. We're fighting.
- 16:08Speaker 1: It's called the flesh. But we also have Holy Spirit
- 16:10Speaker 1: God living inside of us. The same Spirit that raised
- 16:13Speaker 1: Jesus from the grave is living inside of every single
- 16:19Speaker 1: whosoever who called upon the name of the Lord to
- 16:22Speaker 1: be saved. That same Spirit lives inside of us. So
- 16:25Speaker 1: guess what's going to happen when We're pushed to our limit.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Holy Spirit is going to come to the rescue and
- 16:31Speaker 1: speak for us. He's going to move through us. Amen.
- 16:45Speaker 1: No, they see the glory of the Lord Jesus
- 16:48Speaker 1: Christ oozing through you and me. Amen. So when you
- 16:51Speaker 1: know your purpose, rejection is not going to really throw
- 16:55Speaker 1: you back. You know, I was having this conversation with
- 16:58Speaker 1: my daughter yesterday. Rejection shouldn't really, if she thinks about it,
- 17:02Speaker 1: shouldn't really push her back to points where she's going
- 17:05Speaker 1: to want to do something to herself. No. No. If
- 17:09Speaker 1: you know who you are, the problem is if we
- 17:12Speaker 1: don't know who we are, somebody's going to try to
- 17:15Speaker 1: tell us who we are. If we don't know the
- 17:17Speaker 1: value that God placed in us, somebody's going to try
- 17:19Speaker 1: to devalue us, right? It's always going to be those
- 17:23Speaker 1: people that are going to look at you and say, man,
- 17:25Speaker 1: you can't do this. You look a certain way. You
- 17:28Speaker 1: don't dress like we do. So I have compassion for
- 17:33Speaker 1: when I see my young church people who might be
- 17:37Speaker 1: kind of like an illegalistic system. They dress a certain way.
- 17:41Speaker 1: The girls can't wear makeup, earrings or whatever. I kind
- 17:43Speaker 1: of have compassion for them because, no, not kind of.
- 17:46Speaker 1: I do have compassion because I know they're going to
- 17:48Speaker 1: be ridiculed in their schools, ridiculed at work. They're going
- 17:51Speaker 1: to be judged. They're going to be called this X, Y, Z.
- 17:55Speaker 1: But that's the system that they're in. And there's benefits
- 17:58Speaker 1: to that system. It's called purity. Nobody wants to talk
- 18:01Speaker 1: about purity anymore. I don't understand it. Why not? Let's
- 18:04Speaker 1: talk about purity. Please talk about purity to my children, please.
- 18:10Speaker 1: And youth ministry, kids ministry. Let's get back to, let's
- 18:14Speaker 1: look at what the world continues to throw. It's the
- 18:16Speaker 1: same thing over and over again. And let's bring the
- 18:19Speaker 1: message of hope, love, grace, mercy, and purity back to
- 18:23Speaker 1: our kids. If you're doing that in your churches, amen,
- 18:26Speaker 1: with your kids, with your youth, with your young adults,
- 18:29Speaker 1: praise the Lord, amen. Keep on doing it. You might
- 18:31Speaker 1: have to camp out there for a little while because
- 18:33Speaker 1: that's what's being thrown at our young children, our young adults, teenagers,
- 18:37Speaker 1: every single day. So when they show up in their
- 18:41Speaker 1: skirts and everything like that, and they're modest, their peers
- 18:45Speaker 1: are actually making fun of them, right? Because they don't,
- 18:48Speaker 1: number one, they don't understand. Their peers don't understand. They
- 18:51Speaker 1: don't know the value of the person. They don't know
- 18:53Speaker 1: the value of purity. They don't know even their purpose.
- 18:56Speaker 1: They don't know their purpose. So we have to show
- 18:59Speaker 1: them grace, but at the same time, be confident in
- 19:02Speaker 1: who you are and in the purpose that God has
- 19:04Speaker 1: given you. Amen? And don't fall back into the lie
- 19:07Speaker 1: of thinking, well, I have to change and be more
- 19:10Speaker 1: like them. No, they have to change and be more
- 19:13Speaker 1: like the one that is in you, the Lord Jesus
- 19:15Speaker 1: Christ by way of Holy Spirit. And that's the choice.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Nobody can force it. I can't force you to believe that.
- 19:22Speaker 1: I can't argue you into the kingdom of God. None
- 19:25Speaker 1: of that stuff is going to work. It has to
- 19:27Speaker 1: be love, genuine love. It has to be Holy Spirit driven.
- 19:31Speaker 1: It has to be an opportunity that God creates to
- 19:34Speaker 1: receive the kingdom of God in your life. So don't
- 19:37Speaker 1: spend your whole life trying to become somebody else. You're not.
- 19:42Speaker 1: You are to seek God, right? His righteousness, his kingdom,
- 19:47Speaker 1: seek him. Know your assignment. Discover your assignment, right? And
- 19:52Speaker 1: walk faithfully in that assignment. Come on. You're uniquely you.
- 19:58Speaker 1: And that's a beautiful thing. Knowing that there's no one
- 20:01Speaker 1: else on the whole entire planet exactly like you or
- 20:04Speaker 1: exactly like me, right? Have fun with that, right? Acknowledge that.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Know that. God is so creative that he did that.
- 20:12Speaker 1: He's so creative. He's a creative God, creator God. Amen.
- 20:17Speaker 1: He created all things that we see that we don't see. Amen.
- 20:22Speaker 1: He created it. Jesus, Genesis chapter one, God, Genesis chapter one, Elohim,
- 20:27Speaker 1: Genesis chapter one. In the beginning, God created the heavens
- 20:31Speaker 1: and earth right there. Science hinges off of that. They
- 20:34Speaker 1: need Time, space, and matter. And God says, I gave
- 20:38Speaker 1: you time, space, and matter. So the science is already
- 20:42Speaker 1: proven right there in the first verse of the book
- 20:44Speaker 1: of Genesis. So you don't need everything today. You don't
- 20:49Speaker 1: have to worry about tomorrow, right? You just need to
- 20:52Speaker 1: know the one who holds tomorrow and the one who
- 20:55Speaker 1: created you for right now. Amen. And that's the Lord
- 20:59Speaker 1: Jesus Christ. John 13, read the whole chapter. We camped
- 21:02Speaker 1: out of John 13, 3, got all of that out
- 21:04Speaker 1: of that one scripture. Why? Because it's true and it
- 21:07Speaker 1: will stand up to any culture, any time in history.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Jesus knew that the Father had given all things into
- 21:13Speaker 1: his hands and that he had come from God and
- 21:17Speaker 1: was returning to God. Amen. If you're part of that plan, amen,
- 21:22Speaker 1: God will show that completely to you right now. Amen.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Just ask him. If you don't understand, he'll give you understanding.
- 21:30Speaker 1: God doesn't leave us on abandoned islands. So I'm out
- 21:32Speaker 1: of time, but God bless you all. God keep you all.
- 21:36Speaker 1: And remember always, remember this, that God is good. Peace.
