- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things.
- 0:02Speaker 2: All right, there we go, feeling good on this Tuesday morning.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Thank you for starting to day with us. Ricky Sanchez
- 0:06Speaker 2: has those three things.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Excuse me as I pant. I just ran up the
- 0:09Speaker 3: stairs late today made Jimmy Kimmel will not return as
- 0:14Speaker 3: the host of the Oscars in twenty twenty five. It
- 0:16Speaker 3: would have been his fifth time hosting the event, so
- 0:19Speaker 3: obviously everybody is shocked. I think they just assumed he
- 0:22Speaker 3: was one hundred percent in. Apparently they reached out to
- 0:25Speaker 3: John Mulaney to see if he would replace him, and
- 0:27Speaker 3: he said no. So these are rumors as of right now.
- 0:31Speaker 3: I haven't seen anything that's official, official, especially about the
- 0:33Speaker 3: John Mulaney thing, so I'm kind of still holding out
- 0:35Speaker 3: a little bit of a so great, a little bit of hope.
- 0:38Speaker 3: We'll see what happens, and I will keep you updated
- 0:40Speaker 3: as to who will host the Oscars in twenty twenty five.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Williamson Medical Center has been named a top maternity hospital
- 0:47Speaker 3: by Newsweek. This is a big deal, really cool moment.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Newsweek's list of twenty twenty four's best maternity hospitals came
- 0:54Speaker 3: out and Williamson Medical Center is on it. They also
- 0:56Speaker 3: made Newsweek's list of world's Best hospitals for the fourth
- 1:00Speaker 3: in a row. So congratulations to everybody there. You guys
- 1:02Speaker 3: are doing great work. You're killing it. I love it,
- 1:05Speaker 3: love to see it.
- 1:05Speaker 4: And I mean there's probably a handful of them listening
- 1:08Speaker 4: right now because at this hour webs we've come to
- 1:10Speaker 4: realize all of our first callers, like eighty percent of
- 1:12Speaker 4: them are in the medical space.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Yes they are. So if you work there, congratulations to you,
- 1:16Speaker 3: and thank you to everybody who is in the healthcare space,
- 1:19Speaker 3: because my god, I could never do it. We appreciate
- 1:24Speaker 3: you absolutely. And the latest weird trend right now that
- 1:28Speaker 3: I don't know if I can get behind.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I don't know what it is, but I'm saying right now,
- 1:32Speaker 2: I'll do it.
- 1:33Speaker 3: You know, Poppy, those prebiotic sodas. Yeah, so they're trying
- 1:36Speaker 3: to do this like them and guawk mixture type thing
- 1:41Speaker 3: for like this poppy qualk okay pop walk really strange.
- 1:45Speaker 3: I don't know if it works for me, but it's
- 1:47Speaker 3: avocado's ginger, lime, poppy, salt, onion, and cilantro put into
- 1:53Speaker 3: one bowl and mush together. The whole idea is like
- 1:56Speaker 3: National Avocado Day is tomorrow actually, so they're trying to
- 2:01Speaker 3: give the chance to win popgualk Kicks Sounds, so gross
- 2:04Speaker 3: do their Instagram page so we.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Can just give the final product.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Is they's supposed to still kind of be like guak
- 2:11Speaker 3: okay I do. I'm not convinced. I also feel like
- 2:14Speaker 3: if I make it at home, because it's a kit
- 2:15Speaker 3: that you have to get, it's not gonna feel like
- 2:17Speaker 3: guakat said I was gonna do that.
- 2:18Speaker 2: It's just too much work.
- 2:19Speaker 3: I'm not doing it great, Kevin. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and
- 2:23Speaker 3: those are the three things you need to know.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Thank you, Ricky. You catch your breath, I know right I.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Can't breathe right now.
- 2:28Speaker 4: We do have more Sounds tickets coming up for the
- 2:30Speaker 4: first Caller of the day.
- 2:31Speaker 2: If you want those hang tight leslie to call in
- 2:33Speaker 2: a bed. You're supposing on a Morton wall.
- 2:35Speaker 1: And I want to seven five the River one O
- 2:37Speaker 1: seven five of the River, Ricky, Zach and Mano in
- 2:39Speaker 1: the morning.
- 2:39Speaker 3: National Sounds are playing Indianapolis on August ninth, and we
- 2:43Speaker 3: got tickets for the first Caller of the Day on
- 2:44Speaker 3: one O seven five the River.
- 2:46Speaker 2: We do six one five seven three seven nine one seven.
- 2:48Speaker 4: You get to go to the historic site of my
- 2:51Speaker 4: perfect first pitch.
- 2:52Speaker 3: I didn't know where you were going with that and
- 2:55Speaker 3: not even surprised now that that's working what he did
- 2:57Speaker 3: do a good job. I will give it to you, Kevin.
- 2:59Speaker 2: He didn't get you. It's a perfect strike.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. But you can see actual people play
- 3:04Speaker 3: that are good if you win and call right now
- 3:07Speaker 3: six one five, seven, three seven, nine, one oh seven,
- 3:10Speaker 3: first collar of the days getting tickets.
- 3:11Speaker 2: We'll tire your next other river.
- 3:14Speaker 1: The river, Ricky, Zach and Mannow in the morning.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Abby and Murphy's Borough. What are you doing right now?
- 3:19Speaker 3: Going to work? Dropping the kids off somewhere? What are
- 3:22Speaker 3: you doing?
- 3:23Speaker 5: I'm actually in the Dunkin Donuts drop.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Through, amazing.
- 3:27Speaker 6: What are you ordering?
- 3:28Speaker 3: So?
- 3:29Speaker 5: I ordered the same thing every day, caramelized coffee with cream,
- 3:32Speaker 5: liquid sugar and cold foam and a sweetee.
- 3:35Speaker 4: Whoa is that all for you? I'm not judging. I'm
- 3:37Speaker 4: just asking if there's somebody else in the car. Never mind,
- 3:40Speaker 4: I've said too much.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Can you make it awkward time? It's like you're not
- 3:44Speaker 3: even string, but somehow you make it awkward.
- 3:47Speaker 5: Now it's fine because I dropped my son off with
- 3:50Speaker 5: my mom because school hasn't started back yet, because he
- 3:52Speaker 5: would totally want to be here with me.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Sure, yeah, that's really sweet.
- 3:57Speaker 4: When does he go back, because I mean my kids,
- 3:58Speaker 4: you know, they go back next week.
- 4:00Speaker 2: I just I cannot believe that.
- 4:01Speaker 5: So he will start second grade and he goes back
- 4:04Speaker 5: to school on Friday this Friday.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Yes, didn't we have a half day situation?
- 4:10Speaker 5: Yes, because he's tiny still and they think he needs
- 4:13Speaker 5: to get adjusted.
- 4:15Speaker 3: I wish they would let us get adjusted. When it
- 4:19Speaker 3: comes to work, yeah.
- 4:22Speaker 5: I work half days, right, and that time it is crazy.
- 4:26Speaker 4: At the beginning of the school year, it's all these
- 4:28Speaker 4: like half days for a while, and it's just such
- 4:30Speaker 4: a logistical nightmare.
- 4:32Speaker 2: It's like, drop the kids off for two hours and
- 4:34Speaker 2: come back and pick it.
- 4:35Speaker 3: I got it's so hard being you, Kenny.
- 4:39Speaker 5: If my parents, if my parents weren't retired, I would
- 4:42Speaker 5: just be screwed, honestly.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not just me, it's all parents.
- 4:46Speaker 1: It's a pain, you know.
- 4:48Speaker 5: I know my parents didn't sign up to raise my kids,
- 4:50Speaker 5: but here we are.
- 4:52Speaker 3: It's nice that you have your parents there. I'm sure
- 4:54Speaker 3: that they love to be a part of that too.
- 4:57Speaker 3: I hope you enjoy your coffee and enjoy the rest
- 4:59Speaker 3: of your Day's starting off right because you are the
- 5:01Speaker 3: first color of the day on one oh seven five
- 5:03Speaker 3: the River.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Yeah, you're going to see the sounds on August night.
- 5:07Speaker 4: That's coming up to playing Indianapolis. Congrats.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Thank you, nice back.
- 5:11Speaker 2: To school treat. You and your son. Go out there.
- 5:13Speaker 2: It'll be fun.
- 5:14Speaker 5: Oh we will all right.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Well, thank you for starting your day with us, Sabby.
- 5:17Speaker 2: We appreciate that. Have a great one you too. We
- 5:20Speaker 2: have more of these tomorrow.
- 5:21Speaker 6: Let's see how awkward Kevin can make it tomorrow.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Even more awkward than it was today.
- 5:27Speaker 7: Wake up happy with Ricky, Zach and Manno. In the morning, Zach.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Had himself a very interesting first hand experience that I
- 5:37Speaker 3: think has changed his life forever.
- 5:39Speaker 8: I am absolutely petrified of everything in life now.
- 5:43Speaker 2: God, I mean, you're so dramatic. I don't know the story.
- 5:46Speaker 3: His future has changed forever?
- 5:48Speaker 2: Is this true, Ricky?
- 5:49Speaker 3: I don't know what you say from him, but no,
- 5:51Speaker 3: I swear this sounds dramatic, but I swear I think
- 5:53Speaker 3: his future is.
- 5:54Speaker 6: He's not dramatic. It's traumatic.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Okay, that was good. See what was talking about?
- 6:00Speaker 4: Miley that we'll play Hozier and then we'll get this
- 6:01Speaker 4: story from Zach how his life is drastically changed next
- 6:05Speaker 4: to other.
- 6:05Speaker 1: River Ricky Zach in the morning.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Oftentimes in life we have these life altering moments, moments
- 6:14Speaker 3: that we may not realize at the time are altering
- 6:16Speaker 3: the future, but they are. It's Ricky, Zach and Mano
- 6:19Speaker 3: in the morning on one of seven five the river.
- 6:21Speaker 4: This moment seemed to happen to Zach more than anybody
- 6:23Speaker 4: I know. Is traumatic, life altering, life altering experiences regularly
- 6:28Speaker 4: trying to fight today.
- 6:30Speaker 3: So Zach, you had first had experienced caring for kids
- 6:34Speaker 3: for the most time for a.
- 6:36Speaker 8: Day, exhausting thing I've ever done in my entire life.
- 6:40Speaker 8: So we took my niece and my nephew to the
- 6:42Speaker 8: zoo on Friday. Who's we My boyfriend and just.
- 6:45Speaker 6: The two of you, justice two of us. We took
- 6:47Speaker 6: the two children.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Which is a big move, a big moment.
- 6:51Speaker 8: To the zoo and we were there for three and
- 6:54Speaker 8: a half hours, a long time, and all I heard
- 6:56Speaker 8: the entire time, I'm hot, where's the air conditioning, where's
- 7:01Speaker 8: the food?
- 7:02Speaker 2: And they were just the kids. David was the.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Children ten and six, so they're definitely at the age
- 7:09Speaker 3: where they have their own opinions and their own personalities.
- 7:13Speaker 8: And I feel like I was most mentally exhausted afterward,
- 7:16Speaker 8: because like looking for them the entire time when there's
- 7:19Speaker 8: a million other children around, of like trying to make
- 7:22Speaker 8: sure that I pay attention and that I'm like involved
- 7:25Speaker 8: in what they're doing.
- 7:26Speaker 2: It was just a lot.
- 7:27Speaker 8: I don't know how people have children. I don't all
- 7:31Speaker 8: over again, that's pretty much it.
- 7:32Speaker 2: On a daily basis.
- 7:33Speaker 4: I mean I've had kids for eight years now, and yeah,
- 7:36Speaker 4: that's my day to day as well.
- 7:38Speaker 3: My faltering moment.
- 7:40Speaker 8: I literally Kevin afterward and I was like, I don't
- 7:43Speaker 8: know how you have kids. This is exhausting, Like every
- 7:46Speaker 8: single day. I could not do it. Once a month,
- 7:50Speaker 8: I could not do it.
- 7:51Speaker 2: I will say though.
- 7:52Speaker 4: And I know this isn't necessarily where you're going with this,
- 7:54Speaker 4: but that makes me have so much respect for single
- 7:56Speaker 4: parents because I have all and we can sort of
- 7:58Speaker 4: like tag team the responsibility and stuff. But man, it
- 8:01Speaker 4: is a lot of work for so many people out there.
- 8:04Speaker 3: It's really really can't help as well. Yeah, and he's freaking.
- 8:09Speaker 8: Out about it, so shout out to all the single parents,
- 8:12Speaker 8: because I don't know how you would do it even
- 8:14Speaker 8: with five thousand parents.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Village.
- 8:19Speaker 3: It takes a village, yeah, because it is exhausting. It
- 8:23Speaker 3: is a lot of work, especially when there's more than one.
- 8:25Speaker 4: And if there's any young children listening right now, please
- 8:28Speaker 4: give us grown up a break. See, I mean all
- 8:30Speaker 4: that complaining that you just referenced there, Zach, and I'm hot,
- 8:33Speaker 4: I'm hungry, Like that's.
- 8:35Speaker 2: All the time. You guys are.
- 8:38Speaker 8: Like, I'm also hot and I'm also hungry. So like,
- 8:42Speaker 8: I know, you don't have to complain.
- 8:44Speaker 3: But when you have kids, that doesn't matter if you're
- 8:46Speaker 3: hot and hungry. No are So this is a life
- 8:50Speaker 3: altering moment for Zach. You flat out was like, I
- 8:52Speaker 3: don't think I ever want children.
- 8:54Speaker 6: I don't think I can do it. Point, I don't
- 8:56Speaker 6: think I can do it.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Don't give up, don't give up.
- 8:58Speaker 4: It's different when they're your and it's like, you know
- 9:00Speaker 4: you do anything for them, So.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Don't give up. Don't give up.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, Zach is not confident, no by any means
- 9:07Speaker 3: nor God.
- 9:08Speaker 6: You had this, Staria.
- 9:09Speaker 3: That's a very good experience to have. I had it
- 9:12Speaker 3: as well many years ago.
- 9:13Speaker 4: And I was like, this is a lot of work,
- 9:15Speaker 4: valuable lesson, which is.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Why I am very careful and don't have.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 9:22Speaker 4: Seven o'clock on this Tuesday morning, it's going to be
- 9:25Speaker 4: a hot one.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Ricky Sanchez is here with those three things.
- 9:28Speaker 3: We got some lane closures happening at BNA starting today
- 9:31Speaker 3: right now, actually seven am until five pm. Every day
- 9:35Speaker 3: for the next few weeks, there are going to be
- 9:37Speaker 3: lane closures. So the far left arrivals lane at BNA
- 9:40Speaker 3: is going to be closed. They're working on expanding roadways
- 9:43Speaker 3: to improve traffic flow, which means that for a little
- 9:46Speaker 3: while the traffic flow is really just not gonna be created.
- 9:49Speaker 3: One arrivals lane will always be open and the departure
- 9:52Speaker 3: lanes will not be affected. So plan ahead when you're
- 9:54Speaker 3: going to the airport for the next few weeks, because
- 9:56Speaker 3: there's obviously going to be traffic, it's gonna take you
- 9:58Speaker 3: a little bit longer to get in, and obviously plan
- 10:02Speaker 3: if you're driving past BNA or around BNA that there
- 10:05Speaker 3: might also be backups that are happening that could affect
- 10:07Speaker 3: you as well. So just plan ahead for the next
- 10:10Speaker 3: few weeks. You don't want to get stuck in a
- 10:11Speaker 3: situation where you're like, oh my god, I had no
- 10:13Speaker 3: idea this was happening, and now what do I do?
- 10:16Speaker 3: Just be aware And he's seen Deadpool and Wolverine like
- 10:19Speaker 3: I have. It's so good. It's so good, I will say,
- 10:23Speaker 3: though there is an opening dance sequence. Dance Pool is
- 10:27Speaker 3: his name, and Ryan Reynolds wants you to know that
- 10:30Speaker 3: it was not him that was dancing as dance Pool.
- 10:34Speaker 3: It was an actual dancer and choreographer, Nick Pauley, he said.
- 10:38Speaker 3: And he's doing press all around the play all over
- 10:40Speaker 3: the world right now. It seems like but he said, quote,
- 10:43Speaker 3: he's doing a lot of the moves that have been
- 10:45Speaker 3: established previously by in Sync because he dances to Bye
- 10:48Speaker 3: Bye Bye. If it looks like the person who's dancing
- 10:52Speaker 3: doesn't have arthritis, that's him. So Ryan Reynolds is very
- 10:56Speaker 3: much open about the fact that he's not the best dancer,
- 10:59Speaker 3: and he definitely can do the choreography that dance Pool
- 11:01Speaker 3: can do.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Sure, it is actually impressive. If you've been on TikTok,
- 11:04Speaker 3: you've also probably seen it. Because now it's become one
- 11:07Speaker 3: of those where they overlay the dance. Yeah, okay, so
- 11:11Speaker 3: that's dance Pool. It's not Ryan Reynolds. I was actually
- 11:14Speaker 3: distraught when I heard this because I was really hoping
- 11:16Speaker 3: that it was him, and it almost kind of seems
- 11:19Speaker 3: like the mannerisms would be him. So the guy who's
- 11:23Speaker 3: doing the choreography, yeah, did a phenomenal job. Such a
- 11:26Speaker 3: great job. And a new survey reveals that Americans will
- 11:29Speaker 3: spend an average of six hundred and sixty two dollars
- 11:31Speaker 3: on back to school shopping for the upcoming school year.
- 11:35Speaker 3: That is a lot of money.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Zach that he shouldn't give up on the idea of
- 11:39Speaker 2: having kids. What are you doing with a.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Lot of money? So here are a few tips from
- 11:43Speaker 3: financial experts if you still need to grab some back
- 11:45Speaker 3: to school items. They say buying items in phases instead
- 11:48Speaker 3: of all at once is a great start. Start with
- 11:51Speaker 3: the things that your kids need on the very first
- 11:53Speaker 3: day of school, and as time goes on, supplies will
- 11:55Speaker 3: go on sale. Okay, right now they're expensive, Wait about
- 11:58Speaker 3: a month, they'll be a little bit cheaper if you
- 12:00Speaker 3: can wait a month. If you can't, it's just what
- 12:02Speaker 3: you got to deal with. Unfortunately, for laptops or electronics.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Check wholesale stores like Costco so you don't have to
- 12:09Speaker 3: pay full price, and compare some prices online at different
- 12:12Speaker 3: stores to see where you can get the best deals,
- 12:14Speaker 3: especially for things that are a little more expensive. I know,
- 12:16Speaker 3: like those big calculators in high school they have to
- 12:19Speaker 3: buy that are like eighty five dollars or one hundred dollars.
- 12:21Speaker 2: I love those.
- 12:22Speaker 9: Oh you can look.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not buying them, but I love playing with them.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Okay, great, They're very expensive. So if you're looking for
- 12:30Speaker 3: things like that, check the prices at different stores online.
- 12:33Speaker 3: It'll help you out in the end. I'm Ricky Sanchez
- 12:35Speaker 3: and those are the three things you need to know.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Thank you, Ricky.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Jumping back into the music here with Taylor and post
- 12:39Speaker 4: Malone right after Fortnite, Zach is standing by with the
- 12:42Speaker 4: fact Zach's back school hasn't started yet.
- 12:45Speaker 2: We're all learning together. Next, I'm one of seven five
- 12:47Speaker 2: the River.
- 12:48Speaker 7: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on one
- 12:52Speaker 7: the River.
- 12:53Speaker 3: All right, Zach, teach us something new. It's Zach spack'x
- 12:56Speaker 3: on one of seven five the River.
- 12:57Speaker 8: If you had to take a random guess, how high.
- 13:00Speaker 8: Do you think popcorn pops when it's popping.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Oh, that's a good question. I would say it could
- 13:05Speaker 2: get up to a foot. It can go up to
- 13:07Speaker 2: three feet, Okay.
- 13:09Speaker 6: Three feet.
- 13:10Speaker 3: The airworkop almost as high as I am. As tall
- 13:14Speaker 3: as I am, I'm for weapons.
- 13:16Speaker 6: So like that's really ot for you.
- 13:19Speaker 3: I don't know how tall Small Miles is. Is she
- 13:21Speaker 3: four eleven?
- 13:22Speaker 6: I think you're the same heights.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Oh, we're the same heights.
- 13:24Speaker 2: I think she's somewhere in between you and popcorn small package.
- 13:27Speaker 3: We could do lots of things.
- 13:28Speaker 6: Though, And that is your fact of the day.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Several effects in there.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Ricky zecond Mano in the morning and I'm.
- 13:36Speaker 3: So excited and I'm so sad at the same time,
- 13:39Speaker 3: lots of mixed emotions because tomorrow is the last river
- 13:42Speaker 3: on the rooftop of the summer season for us, at
- 13:45Speaker 3: one of seven five the river, and it's just it's
- 13:48Speaker 3: just so many things I'm feeling right now. I love
- 13:50Speaker 3: these concerts and I'm so sad that they're about to
- 13:53Speaker 3: be done. But like summer is about to be done,
- 13:55Speaker 3: and that's just kind of what happened.
- 13:56Speaker 6: No, I wanted to be done.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Our boss John and then who does a great job
- 14:01Speaker 4: organizing these events. He'll just so, yes, yes, yes, they'll
- 14:05Speaker 4: just have to start working on next years as soon
- 14:07Speaker 4: as this one wraps tomorrow night.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, I guess, but then we gotta wait until
- 14:10Speaker 3: next year.
- 14:12Speaker 8: Winter events took too.
- 14:16Speaker 3: I will say, though, before I get super sad. We
- 14:18Speaker 3: do have the cass One and I'm very excited. We

- 16:10Speaker 3: I just need to read what Kevin wrote for his

- 16:16Speaker 3: Canada quiz or Tate McCrae. A.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Yeah, you like that.
- 16:20Speaker 2: No, I hated so much Tate McCrae.

- 17:21Speaker 9: But I cannot think of the artist.
- 17:23Speaker 3: Yeah, it's okay, Jeff, it's okay, Okay.
- 17:27Speaker 2: You're still alive. You need the next two to uh

- 17:30Speaker 4: What Canadian comedian got his start on the TV show
- 17:34Speaker 4: in Living Color.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Carrie Nice.
- 17:41Speaker 2: You're on the board, all right.
- 17:43Speaker 1: You need this.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Jeff.
- 17:45Speaker 4: Kendrick Lamar has been in the news this year for
- 17:48Speaker 4: feuding with What Canadian.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Uh uh, dray, you did.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Not sound common those noises you were making really anything.
- 18:01Speaker 1: You didn't know it.
- 18:02Speaker 9: But I know nothing about Canada except maybe Scott Pilgrims
- 18:07Speaker 9: the movie Canada.
- 18:09Speaker 1: So it's a miracle.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Congratulations, Cheff. We are so proud of you. Despite the
- 18:14Speaker 3: fact that you don't know much about Canada.
- 18:16Speaker 6: You got the quiz right.
- 18:17Speaker 9: Yeah, it's a miracle. Thank you so much.
- 18:20Speaker 2: You're welcome.
- 18:20Speaker 5: Man.
- 18:21Speaker 2: You're gonna be there next Tuesday night to send ambitheater
- 18:23Speaker 2: for Ta mc craig. Great job, all right, thank you,
- 18:25Speaker 2: Hay on the line Love. We're gonna have them tomorrow.
- 18:27Speaker 2: The Canada Quiz.
- 18:29Speaker 3: I'm thoroughly impressed by the amount that everybody knows about Canada.
- 18:32Speaker 2: I thought you're gonna say you're impressed by something I
- 18:34Speaker 2: did at first.
- 18:34Speaker 3: No, Kevin, not you.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Three days.
- 18:37Speaker 4: You need to know just after eight o'clock on this Tuesday.
- 18:40Speaker 4: We really appreciate you starting your day with us where
- 18:42Speaker 4: he's got those three things.
- 18:43Speaker 3: The US men's Olympic gymnastics team ended a sixteen year
- 18:48Speaker 3: drought with a medal. They took on bronze and men's
- 18:51Speaker 3: Artistic Team all around. It's the first medal of the
- 18:53Speaker 3: team in that team event since two thousand and eight
- 18:56Speaker 3: for the American men's gymnastics team. So congratulations to every
- 19:00Speaker 3: especially because they had a disappointing fifth place finish on
- 19:03Speaker 3: Saturday in the qualifying rounds and they came back. Baby,
- 19:06Speaker 3: we love a comeback story, So congratulations to everybody on
- 19:11Speaker 3: the team. Big deal all around. Leaperspok has a new speakeasy.
- 19:16Speaker 3: This is really cool. It's called the Parlor. It's in
- 19:18Speaker 3: nineteen thirties inspired speakeasy. Hid it in the back of
- 19:21Speaker 3: Bubble Joy, which is a newly opened old fashioned candy
- 19:24Speaker 3: shop and bubble bar. So it opens this Saturday. Go
- 19:27Speaker 3: check it out at Leaper's Corner because it sounds really cool.
- 19:29Speaker 3: I love speakeasies. I love that vibe, that idea of it.
- 19:33Speaker 3: I know they're not like real anymore, but it's so cool.
- 19:37Speaker 3: And according to Zillo, one million dollar starter homes are
- 19:41Speaker 3: the norm in two hundred and thirty seven US cities
- 19:45Speaker 3: right now, which is wild. Yes, is my soul. So
- 19:48Speaker 3: the number of cities of million dollar homes, it's tripled
- 19:51Speaker 3: since twenty nineteen according to this new study. And just
- 19:54Speaker 3: you have an idea, the real estate site a starter home,
- 19:57Speaker 3: they define it as in the Love I was third
- 20:00Speaker 3: of home values in a region, So a million dollars
- 20:05Speaker 3: is in the lowest third in some region.
- 20:08Speaker 2: They at least wages aren't rising.
- 20:09Speaker 3: So in two hundred and thirty seven cities, a typical
- 20:13Speaker 3: starter home is worth at least a million dollars, which
- 20:15Speaker 3: is up from eighty four cities in twenty nineteen. So
- 20:18Speaker 3: that's just a crazy stat and obviously a little depressing,
- 20:21Speaker 3: but that's Okay, it's okay. We're doing great at the Olympics. Guys,
- 20:24Speaker 3: I'm pretty sachiez. And those are the three things you
- 20:26Speaker 3: need to know.
- 20:27Speaker 2: This silver lining it is wild.
- 20:29Speaker 4: I know everybody does this, but you drive around you
- 20:31Speaker 4: see all these nice hots that where you're like, how
- 20:33Speaker 4: do this many people have this much money?
- 20:35Speaker 3: Now, what are you doing? Tell me your secrets?
- 20:38Speaker 7: Ricky Zach and Manno in the morning on they to.
- 20:43Speaker 4: Leave work a little bit early last Friday. Ricky Zach,
- 20:46Speaker 4: I apologize. I appreciate you guys letting me go, but
- 20:48Speaker 4: my dog had a panic attack, and that was the
- 20:51Speaker 4: legitimate excuse given for me leaving early.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Well, you didn't know that he was having a panic attack.
- 20:56Speaker 3: When he was having a pan attack, you were nervous
- 20:58Speaker 3: that there was something actually wrong. Turns out your dog
- 21:00Speaker 3: is as dramatic as you are.
- 21:02Speaker 6: And I thought I was the most dramatic one on
- 21:05Speaker 6: the show.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Turns out you're an it's my dog.
- 21:08Speaker 2: It's my dog.
- 21:09Speaker 4: No, the vet's honestly, they said that he had like
- 21:11Speaker 4: the dog equivalent of a panic attack. So that's a
- 21:13Speaker 4: nice it's fine, but that got us kind of giggling
- 21:16Speaker 4: at the idea of a dog panic attacking.
- 21:18Speaker 2: The reason I left early?
- 21:19Speaker 4: So we want to know the silliest reason a coworker
- 21:22Speaker 4: of yours either called in or left early.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Can you beat a dog panic attack?
- 21:28Speaker 3: I think there's got to be more ridiculous things to
- 21:30Speaker 3: call out for.
- 21:31Speaker 6: I have one for Ricky that I will call me.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm always here. What are you talking here?
- 21:38Speaker 2: Six seven three seven nine one o seven?
- 21:41Speaker 4: If you if you can contribute to this the craziest
- 21:44Speaker 4: reason somebody called out?
- 21:44Speaker 2: Let us know it's the Britta Carpenter of the.
- 21:46Speaker 1: River, Ricky second Manno in the morning.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Laurie Schaubeville, tell us the silly reason your coworker called out.
- 21:55Speaker 5: Of work with him call out. She was already at work,
- 21:58Speaker 5: but she had to leave early because it was storming
- 22:02Speaker 5: and we were getting pale, and she wanted to go
- 22:04Speaker 5: home and cover her car with a seat.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Okay, so she wanted to go home to cover her
- 22:11Speaker 3: car with a sheet because she wanted to make sure
- 22:12Speaker 3: that there wasn't gonna be ice on it later. But
- 22:14Speaker 3: she wanted to try to get out of work early
- 22:17Speaker 3: to do that.
- 22:18Speaker 5: Yeah, I guess she thought the sheet would also protect
- 22:21Speaker 5: far from getting Yeah, no, I get that.
- 22:25Speaker 2: So she parks it's uncovered at work? Yes, okay, did
- 22:29Speaker 2: it work?
- 22:29Speaker 3: Did she get to leave early?
- 22:31Speaker 5: No, that it was gonna be the same.
- 22:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't think a sheet is gonna do a
- 22:37Speaker 4: whole Maybe something a little thicker than that, but yeah,
- 22:39Speaker 4: they probably wouldn't.
- 22:40Speaker 3: Helped, right, Yeah, so it was just funny.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Yeah, that is funny. Thank you, Loriie, we appreciate it.
- 22:47Speaker 3: Have a great day.
- 22:48Speaker 4: Danielle and white House. You're on here at one oh
- 22:50Speaker 4: seven five the river.
- 22:51Speaker 2: What was that excuse?
- 22:53Speaker 3: I'm a coworker she called out. It's out a lot,
- 22:57Speaker 3: but this particular time she called out because her.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Daughter that's like five, got a bad grade, like at school.
- 23:04Speaker 3: What oh, so she needed to leave, She couldn't come
- 23:09Speaker 3: to work because her daughter got a bad grade and
- 23:12Speaker 3: she wanted to discipline her. Or she didn't say, just
- 23:16Speaker 3: because her daughter.
- 23:17Speaker 7: Got a bad grade.
- 23:18Speaker 1: That's okay.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Maybe it was just weighing on her. You know what,
- 23:21Speaker 2: we take mental health day seriously. She just couldn't steal that.
- 23:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess that could be.
- 23:26Speaker 2: The reason why, given her the benefit of the dove.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Kevin's really trying to be nice here.
- 23:32Speaker 2: All right, Danielle, thank you for listening. We appreciate you.
- 23:35Speaker 3: Y'all have a good one.
- 23:37Speaker 4: We got on this because I left work early Friday
- 23:40Speaker 4: because my dog had a panic attack. And now Zach
- 23:42Speaker 4: said that he does have an example of Ricky even
- 23:46Speaker 4: calling in or leaving early.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Yeah, did I leave earlier? Did I call out? You
- 23:49Speaker 3: called out? Okay, tell me what.
- 23:51Speaker 8: There's a work event that you said yes you would
- 23:53Speaker 8: be there for, and then the morning up you said,
- 23:56Speaker 8: oh no, I don't want to give my hair dirty.
- 23:58Speaker 3: I just that was a work event. It was not
- 24:00Speaker 3: literally worth a work event.
- 24:03Speaker 6: I don't want to get my hair dirty.
- 24:05Speaker 2: I don't want to have to wash my hair afterwards.
- 24:07Speaker 3: No, it was not an actual work event. It was
- 24:09Speaker 3: not anything the way, Yeah, Zach, is not a work event.
- 24:14Speaker 6: It was a work event.
- 24:16Speaker 3: It was not a work event.
- 24:18Speaker 6: She literally said I can't go because I don't want
- 24:20Speaker 6: to get my hair dirtey.
- 24:21Speaker 3: Nothing to do with the station the station either.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Wait, whether it was I called out of.
- 24:28Speaker 3: The hanging out with Zach's called.
- 24:31Speaker 8: Out of hanging out with me because she didn't want
- 24:33Speaker 8: to get her hair dirty, not the same.
- 24:35Speaker 2: It's not the same. Six seven seven. If you have an.
- 24:39Speaker 7: Example, Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on
- 24:44Speaker 7: the River morning, Austin and Bowling Green.
- 24:47Speaker 9: How you doing, I'm good yourself, We're great.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Do you have a great story of a time that
- 24:53Speaker 3: a friend or a coworker called out of work for
- 24:55Speaker 3: something silly?
- 24:56Speaker 9: My friends and I, when I was an assembly operator,
- 25:00Speaker 9: found out that you could use your sick days and
- 25:02Speaker 9: they would like the morning of and they would guarantee
- 25:05Speaker 9: get a proof no matter.
- 25:06Speaker 1: What you put.
- 25:07Speaker 9: So we started putting that there was a venomous duck
- 25:10Speaker 9: that bit us.
- 25:11Speaker 1: And we had to go seek out.
- 25:14Speaker 3: A venomous duck.
- 25:16Speaker 9: We didn't do it all the time, but when we
- 25:18Speaker 9: had an extra sick day to use before the time
- 25:20Speaker 9: was up, we definitely.
- 25:21Speaker 4: This is a stupid question, but is there such a
- 25:23Speaker 4: thing as a venomous duck? Conducts have venom No?
- 25:27Speaker 9: I don't think so.
- 25:29Speaker 3: No.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Lots of different kinds of things out.
- 25:32Speaker 3: There, Austin. I actually love that one, and I give
- 25:37Speaker 3: you a for creativity.
- 25:39Speaker 11: Actually, there is such a thing duck. There is where
- 25:45Speaker 11: it's in Australia. Australia where everything wants to kill you.
- 25:50Speaker 9: That makes sense, Yeah, that's where a Venomus Duck would
- 25:52Speaker 9: be right.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Austin, Thank you man, that's very funny. Appreciate it.
- 25:55Speaker 3: Joshua and Bellevue tell us the silly story that a
- 25:59Speaker 3: coworker called out of work.
- 26:00Speaker 10: For they had a hamster and the hamser had already
- 26:04Speaker 10: lived like jun years longer than it was supposed to.
- 26:08Speaker 10: So the hamser had lost an eyeball and had had
- 26:12Speaker 10: surgery the hamster.
- 26:14Speaker 6: Wait, is that true?
- 26:16Speaker 9: Yes, they hit pictures.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Honestly, I kind of get that one. If your beloved
- 26:20Speaker 2: pet is having an eyeball surgery.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Okay, but how much money do you think they spent
- 26:24Speaker 3: to have an eyeball surgery on a hamster?
- 26:27Speaker 10: Over at one thousand dollars?
- 26:29Speaker 7: Oh?
- 26:30Speaker 3: God, that is a very beloved pag.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:34Speaker 4: I guarantee a tiny little eye patch would be a
- 26:37Speaker 4: lot cheaper than one thousand dollars surgery.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Joshua, thank you for calling it and telling us that
- 26:42Speaker 3: outrageous story. We appreciate you hanging out with us, absolutely.
- 26:46Speaker 9: I love you guys, We love you.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Appreciate it.
- 26:50Speaker 4: I already know I'm gonna get stucked down a rabbit
- 26:52Speaker 4: hole of Hampshire Surgery.
- 26:55Speaker 1: One O seven five of the River Ricky Zach and
- 26:57Speaker 1: Manow in the mornings.
- 26:58Speaker 3: This is a combination of two of my favorite things
- 27:01Speaker 3: for the daily double tap on one oh seven five
- 27:03Speaker 3: of the River. Jason Kelce and the Olympics.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Yes, those truly are two of your favorite things of
- 27:08Speaker 2: all time.
- 27:08Speaker 3: I can't stop watching the Olympics. Is this is the
- 27:10Speaker 3: first time I'm actually really into the Olympics. Can't stop
- 27:13Speaker 3: watching it. And Jason Kelsey just makes me so happy
- 27:16Speaker 3: as a person. So this is him. He is at
- 27:18Speaker 3: the Olympics right now. He's been showing up, popping up
- 27:21Speaker 3: all over the place, and he's talking to the women's rugby.
- 27:24Speaker 4: Team and he's like, he's their flavor Flave basically, right,
- 27:27Speaker 4: he's like the real champion.
- 27:29Speaker 3: It turns into yeah, so here is the women's rugby team,
- 27:32Speaker 3: Alano Mayer. She's talking to him about becoming like the
- 27:36Speaker 3: flavor Flave for them.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Okay, Olympics.
- 27:41Speaker 3: We talked about this a little bit, but Flavor Flave
- 27:48Speaker 3: has decided to sponsor the women's swim team. I think
- 27:52Speaker 3: it's the polo team something like that, right, it's one
- 27:54Speaker 3: of the teams that he decided to sponsor and obviously
- 27:58Speaker 3: became a big deal because they never had that big
- 28:00Speaker 3: of a sponsor. So now they're getting a lot of
- 28:02Speaker 3: the things that they need and a lot of the
- 28:04Speaker 3: support that they need. So the rugby team was like,
- 28:06Speaker 3: we need a flavor flave kind of vibe going on
- 28:09Speaker 3: and decided to shoot their shot with Jason Kelsey, and
- 28:11Speaker 3: of course Jason Kelsey being him, he says, yes, I
- 28:14Speaker 3: love it and it makes me so happy.
- 28:15Speaker 2: That's so great.
- 28:16Speaker 3: I'm gonna repost it at one o seven five the
- 28:18Speaker 3: River and the Instagram story so you can watch it there.
- 28:20Speaker 3: It is a really really You also.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Tell me that he like had an arm wrestling competition with.
- 28:23Speaker 9: The he did.
- 28:24Speaker 3: He did, He then did some arm wrestling competitions against
- 28:28Speaker 3: these girls because they're strong, intense, and he struggled.
- 28:34Speaker 2: I'm sure he did watching rugby in here yesterday and yeah,
- 28:37Speaker 2: I couldn't do that.
- 28:38Speaker 3: They're beasts.
- 28:39Speaker 4: Yeah, it's impressive. Again at one of seven five the
- 28:41Speaker 4: Ray on Instagram to defind the
- 28:43Speaker 7: Video, Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on
- 28:48Speaker 7: the River
