- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice sugar, and welcome to the Naughty but Night Show.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I'm your host Rob Shuder's Monday Garrett. We had some
- 0:19Speaker 1: technical issues with Sir Garrett from C one hundred will
- 0:22Speaker 1: not be joining us today. It's just as naughties. Don't
- 0:24Speaker 1: worry about it. We've got tons of gossip to get to,
- 0:26Speaker 1: particularly with the Glamys. Hey what time is it, my friends?
- 0:29Speaker 1: It is tea time. I hope you're singing a longer home.
- 0:33Speaker 1: You sound marvelous. So the Grammy Weekend started out gross
- 0:37Speaker 1: in Las Vegas and turned into a nightmare. Sources are
- 0:39Speaker 1: telling Page six that several music insiders did not want
- 0:43Speaker 1: to go to Vegas. They were stressed, they were frazzled.
- 0:45Speaker 1: They didn't want to go there. They thought it was
- 0:47Speaker 1: a dirty town. They didn't have all the luxury stuff
- 0:51Speaker 1: that they have in Vegas. Artists were very upset that
- 0:54Speaker 1: their entourages couldn't get large, large credentials. Lots of people
- 0:59Speaker 1: in their entore argies were not allowed to be in
- 1:01Speaker 1: the room. So the move has caused chaos. Nobody wanted
- 1:05Speaker 1: to go there. It sounds lovely to me. I love
- 1:08Speaker 1: Las Vegas. That's going to be our pole question a
- 1:11Speaker 1: little later on, apparently stylists were having melt downs that
- 1:16Speaker 1: they're not expert tailors like there are in l A.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I have a bit of advice, get your clothes tailored
- 1:21Speaker 1: before you go to Vegas, Sillia. So, originally the Grammys
- 1:25Speaker 1: were supposed to air in January in Los Angeles, but
- 1:28Speaker 1: they were forced to move to Las Vegas because of
- 1:31Speaker 1: the Corona Violeus side. And now, what did you think
- 1:34Speaker 1: of the show? I thought it was great. Trevor Noah
- 1:37Speaker 1: opened it with a little sneaky joke about Will Smith.
- 1:40Speaker 1: He said, we are going to keep people's names out
- 1:42Speaker 1: of our mouths tonight. That seems like a good idea.
- 1:45Speaker 1: His friends with Will Smith, so probably treading carefully. He
- 1:48Speaker 1: also said tour that this is not an award show.
- 1:51Speaker 1: It's a concert where we hand out awards. It felt
- 1:54Speaker 1: like that, didn't It really felt like that. Some of
- 1:56Speaker 1: the winners a song of the Year Bruno Mars silks
- 2:00Speaker 1: on it great, great song. I thought it was going
- 2:02Speaker 1: to be Olivia, but no, it was Bruno, great great song.
- 2:06Speaker 1: I'm happy about that. New artist was Olivia. My goodness,
- 2:09Speaker 1: she's having a elbow of the John Baptiste. He had
- 2:15Speaker 1: the most nominations with eleven eleven nominations, so a bigger
- 2:20Speaker 1: for him. A record of the Silk Sonic scored again.
- 2:24Speaker 1: They pretty much had a sweep, a sweep of the
- 2:28Speaker 1: award shows. I love them old school, it felt so seventies.
- 2:33Speaker 1: If you don't know them, check them out there. They're
- 2:36Speaker 1: like the King of Vegas too. They had a residency
- 2:39Speaker 1: there and so people love them in Las Vegas. What
- 2:43Speaker 1: do you think did you enjoy the night? What was
- 2:46Speaker 1: your favorite performance? I thought the opening was fantastic. Son
- 2:50Speaker 1: Sonic Justin Bieber was good. I thought he was good too.
- 2:54Speaker 1: None of the huge stars though, No Beyonce Saya, I know,
- 2:58Speaker 1: sort of miss Beyonce, but she did the Oscars. No Adele.
- 3:01Speaker 1: There was a rumor Adele was going to turn up,
- 3:03Speaker 1: but no Adele. However, there was Lady Gaga and not
- 3:05Speaker 1: a dry eye in the house when she had a
- 3:08Speaker 1: tribute to her and Mr Tony Bennett's. So this brings
- 3:12Speaker 1: us typole question of the day the Grammy Awards. Where
- 3:15Speaker 1: they gross or were they great? Hey? Go vote on
- 3:18Speaker 1: our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Ramba, or you can
- 3:21Speaker 1: go to our Facebook page Naughty Naughty Gossip. You can
- 3:25Speaker 1: vote there and be sure to check back tomorrow to
- 3:28Speaker 1: hear your results. Hey, moving along, let's talk about Denzel
- 3:31Speaker 1: Washington and Chris Rock and Will Smith and the slap
- 3:35Speaker 1: that was heard around the world. Yes, indeed, so Denzel
- 3:41Speaker 1: Washington is finally talking about this moment. And he said,
- 3:46Speaker 1: quote the devil got hold of him. So he attended
- 3:50Speaker 1: Bishop T. D. Jake's leadership summit on Saturday, and he
- 3:54Speaker 1: spoke about Smith's behavior for the very first time. He said,
- 3:58Speaker 1: when the devil ignores you, that's how you know something
- 4:02Speaker 1: is wrong. He also went on to say, and for
- 4:06Speaker 1: whatever reason, the devil got hold of him that night,
- 4:08Speaker 1: I should say so. Fortunately there were people there, not
- 4:12Speaker 1: just me, but others, including Tyler Perry, who came over
- 4:15Speaker 1: immediately immediately and said some prayers. He said that he
- 4:20Speaker 1: didn't want to talk about it very much, that Denzel
- 4:23Speaker 1: didn't want to get into it, but he did add
- 4:25Speaker 1: who are we to condemn? I know the only solution
- 4:29Speaker 1: was prayer the way I see it. So on Friday,
- 4:33Speaker 1: just five days after the Oscars, Smith resigned from the
- 4:36Speaker 1: Academy of Motion Pictures and Science. In a statement, he
- 4:40Speaker 1: apologized to Chris, finally apologize and referred to his actions
- 4:45Speaker 1: as painful and inexcusable. He added that he will accept
- 4:49Speaker 1: any consequences. There's gonna be more here. There's gonna be
- 4:52Speaker 1: more consequences that come from this. We're going to find
- 4:55Speaker 1: out what they are in the next two weeks. They
- 4:57Speaker 1: could include stripping him of his oscars. The statement came
- 5:02Speaker 1: after Will had a six minute virtual call with members
- 5:07Speaker 1: of the academy in which he apologized again and again
- 5:11Speaker 1: on February fifteenth. The board is going to meet and
- 5:14Speaker 1: determine what additional actions they're going to take here. It's complicated,
- 5:18Speaker 1: isn't it. Should he lose his oscar? It feels like
- 5:21Speaker 1: a proactive move, doesn't it. Will resigning before they can
- 5:26Speaker 1: kick him out. He's probably going to get removed, although
- 5:29Speaker 1: he's already as should he lose his oscar? Last week,
- 5:33Speaker 1: Garrett and I disagreed about this. Garrett seemed to be
- 5:36Speaker 1: defending well and got a lot of heat for that.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I knew right from the beginning that this just felt
- 5:42Speaker 1: so bad. I think Will apologizing within twenty four hours.
- 5:47Speaker 1: It was a day late, but he finally got there.
- 5:50Speaker 1: I think resigning from the Academy was a good move
- 5:52Speaker 1: to I don't know if it is enough. Will find
- 5:56Speaker 1: that in a couple of weeks. So there are more
- 5:58Speaker 1: consequences for ms the sniff. Netflix are pumping the brakes
- 6:02Speaker 1: on his latest action thriller. They've decided to sort of
- 6:06Speaker 1: take their time to bag Burner, a project that he
- 6:10Speaker 1: was working on. It remains unclear if Netflix will develop
- 6:14Speaker 1: this project or just let it go. It was called
- 6:19Speaker 1: The Fast and Loose and also to Will has a
- 6:22Speaker 1: finished show that was meant to be coming out on
- 6:25Speaker 1: Apple TV that's currently in post production, which means all
- 6:29Speaker 1: the acting work is done and now they're putting it
- 6:31Speaker 1: all together. Inside is telling me it's doubtful that this
- 6:34Speaker 1: will remain on schedule. It was meant to come out
- 6:36Speaker 1: at the end of this year. Now let's see what
- 6:39Speaker 1: Apple does. There's still a lot of fallout from that slap.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Hey moving along, Kanye West's reps are denying reports that
- 6:49Speaker 1: he's going to go away and get some help following
- 6:51Speaker 1: the recent really ugly actions he's been taken, particularly on
- 6:55Speaker 1: social media, against Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, representing they
- 7:00Speaker 1: are absolutely fulls Earlier the week, sources close to the
- 7:04Speaker 1: Kardashians told Page six that he was going to go
- 7:07Speaker 1: away and get some help. Now they are saying no, no, no,
- 7:11Speaker 1: no no, that is inaccurate. His spokesperson, Jason Lee, who
- 7:16Speaker 1: is a strange spokesperson. Jason Lee is the one that
- 7:19Speaker 1: started the room with the queen Elizabeth had died. Turned
- 7:22Speaker 1: out to not be true. Kanye West hired him. Of
- 7:24Speaker 1: all the people to hire to be your spokesperson, you
- 7:27Speaker 1: want someone trusted, someone who when they speak, they speak
- 7:30Speaker 1: with the authority. Kanye he hired Jason Leeson. Now Jason
- 7:35Speaker 1: Leah is talking to the press saying, ye monitors all
- 7:38Speaker 1: the headlines about him and his family daily, most all
- 7:43Speaker 1: are being fed to the media by quote sources close
- 7:45Speaker 1: to the Kardashians. He's blaming the Kardashians for this story
- 7:49Speaker 1: and he said they are creating a false narrative. Quote.
- 7:53Speaker 1: If you don't hear it from his mouth, read it
- 7:55Speaker 1: on social media, or get it from a press release
- 7:58Speaker 1: that has been approved by him, it's simply false. I
- 8:01Speaker 1: don't know about that. Pete Davidson has had a closet makeup.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Has Kim already started to change Pete so he has
- 8:09Speaker 1: a brand new closet. He was shown off on the
- 8:11Speaker 1: Instagram account Smith Luxury Organizing. So Pete I either got
- 8:16Speaker 1: paid to do this an endorsement, or he's doing it
- 8:19Speaker 1: for a friend. Maybe a friend owns the company. Sources
- 8:22Speaker 1: are saying that this is the start of a transformation
- 8:25Speaker 1: of Pete. Remember had Kim transformed when she married Kanye.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Maybe she's going to do the same, But in this
- 8:33Speaker 1: case it's going to be four Pete. I don't know.
- 8:36Speaker 1: So the closet louts really organized. His clothes are organized
- 8:40Speaker 1: by color. It looks lovely. There's pictures of it up
- 8:43Speaker 1: on not a Gossip dot com. It's a far cry
- 8:46Speaker 1: from the last time we saw inside Pete's home. He
- 8:49Speaker 1: was doing a zoom for People the TV show in February. Oh,
- 8:53Speaker 1: it's a messy, messy room. He realized that he hadn't
- 8:56Speaker 1: closed his closet door behind him on the zoom, so
- 8:59Speaker 1: the classic looked like a disaster. Now it looks absolutely beautiful.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Is this Kim's influence? What do you think he has
- 9:07Speaker 1: Kim Kardashian done this? Oh, I can't wait to know
- 9:10Speaker 1: what you think. Hey, we're going to take a quick
- 9:12Speaker 1: braid and we will be right back. Welcome back to
- 9:17Speaker 1: the Naughty but Nice One, Rob Shooter. Unfortunately we lost
- 9:20Speaker 1: Garrett that we had a few technical issues, but don't worry.
- 9:23Speaker 1: We've still got all the gossip and we're together. Not ease.
- 9:26Speaker 1: We're not by ourselves on this show. So let's get
- 9:29Speaker 1: to the polls. Last show, we talked about Will Snuff.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Now the Academy on the record said that they asked
- 9:39Speaker 1: him to leave the show and he refused. Then sources
- 9:42Speaker 1: it wasn't on the record, it was sources friends of
- 9:45Speaker 1: Wills said that was not true. Who do you believe,
- 9:48Speaker 1: friends of Will Smith or the Academy. Let's have a look,
- 9:52Speaker 1: Oh eighties seven believe the Academy. I think I do too.
- 9:56Speaker 1: There's probably some confusion here. It was a very tense moment,
- 9:59Speaker 1: wasn't it. Love's going on for some confusion, said the Academy.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Don't forget to vote on to day's Paul. Go to
- 10:07Speaker 1: our Twitter page, Naughty Nice Raba on Facebook page and
- 10:09Speaker 1: already gossip and be sure to check back tomorrow to
- 10:13Speaker 1: hear the results. And now it's time for the Nicest
- 10:18Speaker 1: of the Day. Neil and Patrick Harris and David Booker
- 10:24Speaker 1: mark there eighteen years since that very first date, and
- 10:27Speaker 1: they said, quote, I'm not about to let you go. Oh.
- 10:31Speaker 1: They've been together now for almost two decades, and they're
- 10:35Speaker 1: sharing their love story on social media. They wrote, our
- 10:39Speaker 1: first date was eighteen years ago, and Neil added, David,
- 10:43Speaker 1: I'm not about to let you go. Happy anniversary, he said,
- 10:46Speaker 1: with a beautiful photograph of the two of them hugging
- 10:49Speaker 1: on vacation. Thank you for showing me the capacity of
- 10:54Speaker 1: my heart. I love you so much. These two have
- 10:57Speaker 1: been dating since two thousand and for. They announced their
- 11:01Speaker 1: engagement in June, right after New York past the Marriage
- 11:04Speaker 1: Equality Act, and then they tied the knot in two
- 11:07Speaker 1: thousand and forty and oh, good grief, it's so lovely. Lovies, lovees, lovees,
- 11:12Speaker 1: love congratulations and now an artist of the day, naughty, naughty, naughty,
- 11:17Speaker 1: naughty Christina Hack that's Christina from the Coast The d
- 11:23Speaker 1: i y, the home renovating guru, is saying that she's
- 11:26Speaker 1: not throwing shade at her exes after calling her fiance
- 11:30Speaker 1: quote all manner. So Christina is clarifying a post about
- 11:35Speaker 1: her fiance Joshua Hall. She said she's not throwing shade
- 11:40Speaker 1: and her ex husband's and and tarik Elmussa. I love
- 11:45Speaker 1: saying that name. So she said that she was quote
- 11:49Speaker 1: praying for a man who was all man but still
- 11:53Speaker 1: treated me like a queen. Never give up. Now people
- 11:57Speaker 1: are pushing back, saying, all man. Are you implying that
- 12:01Speaker 1: to your last two husbands were not all man? She said, no, no, no,
- 12:06Speaker 1: I was not doing that. She said, there is no
- 12:09Speaker 1: shade there. I don't know. I think Christina knew what
- 12:12Speaker 1: she was up to here. I hate that word, don't you.
- 12:14Speaker 1: It's like saying real real men. What does that mean?
- 12:18Speaker 1: It means that other men are not real men? When men.
- 12:21Speaker 1: When Bravo had that show title for thirty seconds, real
- 12:25Speaker 1: men love Bravo and then they changed it real men.
- 12:28Speaker 1: What does that mean? It's like sometimes politicians say real Americans.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I'm like, we're all Americans, real men, all men. Christina,
- 12:37Speaker 1: you're a naughtiest of the day. Hey, let's end with
- 12:40Speaker 1: the moment of Robbie, get a Robbie, get a rob,
- 12:42Speaker 1: You get a rob. Choose you words carefully, because before
- 12:46Speaker 1: too long you will believe them. They have great power
- 12:51Speaker 1: and they will define you. So cut out all the
- 12:54Speaker 1: negative words you're saying to yourself and replace them with
- 12:57Speaker 1: kind words. Choose your words carefully and not just words
- 13:03Speaker 1: you use when talking to other people words you use
- 13:08Speaker 1: when you are talking to your self. Hey, that's it
- 13:13Speaker 1: for today. Thank you so much for listening to the
- 13:16Speaker 1: Naughty but Nice with Rub Show production of I Heart Radio.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Don't forget to subscribe on the I Heart Radio app,
- 13:23Speaker 1: Apple podcast. Wherever you listen, leave us a review if
