- 0:00Heavenly Father, I am here, but I am tired. There
- 0:07are responsibilities I have continued to carry,
- 0:11even when my strength felt small. There are disappointments
- 0:15I have tried to hide, because I did not want
- 0:18to explain them again. Today, I do not want to
- 0:23pretend with you. You know how much effort some
- 0:27ordinary days require. You know the things I
- 0:30finished, and the things I could barely begin.
- 0:34You know the moment when I smiled at someone
- 0:38while quietly wondering. how I would get through
- 0:41the rest of the day. Meet me here, Lord. Help
- 0:48me receive this moment of prayer without turning
- 0:51it into another task. I must perform well. Let
- 0:57me speak honestly. Let me become still. Father,
- 1:04when I look at everything that needs to change,
- 1:07I can feel defeated before I take a single step.
- 1:11Help me bring my attention back to what I can
- 1:14do today. Perhaps I can finish one necessary
- 1:19task. Perhaps I can ask a question. Make an appointment
- 1:26or tell someone that I need help. Show me a step
- 1:34that is small enough to take, meaningful enough
- 1:38to matter. Give me courage to begin there. I
- 1:49bring you the disappointment that it has made
- 1:50it difficult to try again. I hope for an answer.
- 1:56An opportunity or a change did not come. Help
- 2:04me acknowledge that loss without deciding. That
- 2:07every future effort will the same way. Give me
- 2:14wisdom to understand what I can learn. and what
- 2:19may need a different approach. Lead me towards
- 2:25someone trustworthy when I need practice. Help
- 2:31me remain willing to learn when a direction is
- 2:37no longer wise. Give me the humility to reconsider
- 2:43it. Teach me perseverance that listens and grows.
- 2:55Jesus, help me recognize when I need rest. Sometimes
- 3:02I keep pushing because I am afraid that stopping
- 3:08will make me fall behind. Give me wisdom about
- 3:14my limits. Help me care for my body, make room
- 3:20for sleep, and receive nourishment without rushing
- 3:25to it. Where my responsibilities have become,
- 3:32then I can manage. Help me seek practical support.
- 3:40Give me clear words to explain what had happened.
- 3:47Let me accept care with the same openness. Help
- 3:51others will have. Father, I pray for the people
- 4:01who depend on me. I love them, and I want to
- 4:04be present for them. Yet sometimes, my exhaustion
- 4:10becomes impatience. Forgive me for the moments.
- 4:17when I have spoken harshly or withdrawn without
- 4:21explanation. Help me repair what I can. Teach
- 4:28us to share of responsibilities fairly and speak
- 4:32about our needs before resentment grows. Make
- 4:37our home a place where honesty and kindness can
- 4:42exist together. Lord, when comparison makes my
- 4:48progress seem insignificant, help me remember
- 4:52the circumstances I'm actually facing. Someone
- 4:59else may be moving quickly in an area where I
- 5:03am still learning. Give me the freedom to appreciate
- 5:07their progress. without using to condemn my own.
- 5:14Help me notice the effort I have made, the skill
- 5:18I am developing, and the good I have already
- 5:23contributed. Keep me willing to celebrate small
- 5:27signs of growth. Father, I also bring you the
- 5:34worries that drain my attention, that are practical
- 5:37needs, uncertain plans, and conversations. Keep
- 5:44postponing. Help me face them thoughtfully. Give
- 5:51me patience to gather information and courage,
- 5:54to ask for assistance, when a problem cannot
- 5:58be solved today. Help me decide when I'm returned.
- 6:06Let me place it down long enough to tend to the
- 6:10life around. There's still someone to love. There's
- 6:17still something worth notices. Help me remain
- 6:21present for both. I pray for the person listening,
- 6:27who has quietly reached the end of their energy.
- 6:31Bring them companionship and a safe place to
- 6:34speak honestly. Help them find support that is
- 6:38patient on them attentive hearts, willingness
- 6:49to follow through. Make us the kind of people
- 6:54who respond with care. Someone finally says they
- 6:58are a struggle. Thank you for the help I have
- 7:03received before. Bring to mind a person I can
- 7:06contact. A lesson that may guide me, or a resource
- 7:12I forgot. Help me use what is available. Instead
- 7:18of believing, I must find my way along. For the
- 7:24moments of relief that have entered into difficult
- 7:27days.
