- 3:36SPEAKER_00: Hey there and welcome to the Digital Nomad Life Podcast.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: I'm your host, Krista, also known as Kristabella Travels on Instagram.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: I still have my handle very much focused on my lifestyle because that's the kind of business and career coach I am, FYI.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: So if you don't know me, very quick intro before we get into the juice of this episode, which this is a juicy one.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna teach you literally the step-by-step things that I would do if you actually hired me to help you replace your income so that you can have the lifestyle of your dreams.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: I practice what I preach.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: I am someone who has been basically living abroad since 2013.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: Obviously, I've gone home to visit my family in Boston.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: Um, but yeah, for the vast majority of the past 13 years, I have been traveling to any country that I desire in the moment that I desire it.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: I have been making like anywhere between 3 to 8x my old salary by myself.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: I have hit my million dollar mark in my own business.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: I am able to run my business while working from the beach, which, if you follow me on Instagram, again, Christabella Travels, hit me up.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: If you've been following me there, you know I work from the beach most days.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: And um obviously it's a shaded area.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: All these people being like digital nomads aren't real that work from the beach.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: Yes, we do.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: We don't have the glare on our sun on our screen.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: We just sit in the shade.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: Anyway, um, I am so honored to have the ability to be delivering this information to you today because something that I recently was feeling into is that um I'm kind of at this stage of my business where I'm six years in now that it's no longer about me.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: I previously was really into building a business because of my own desires to have freedom for myself.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: And then it was like, okay, now I have, now I have the desire to make lots and lots and lots of money.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: And then I did that.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: And and now um the desire to travel nonstop is kind of not there anymore.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: I've kind of like, I've I already been to most of the places I really, really wanted to go.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: And money to me, like, I have enough money.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: I'm good.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: So then I was like, what's gonna motivate me to really be continuing to make content and can to continue running this business?
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: And it is genuinely because I want to help liberate people.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: I have heard this insane statistic over and over again that 80% of people don't like their jobs.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: So if you are one of those people, first of all, I'm so happy that you're here.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: And second, yo, let's get you out of there.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: Like it's actually not that complicated to have your own online business that you can run from anywhere in the world.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: And not just any business, not just like the business that's running, that's like most popular in TikTok shop right now or whatever.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: I'm talking about a business that leverages your strengths, your interests, your personality, um, so that you're actually going to enjoy running it and that you're gonna be naturally good at running it and allowing that business to fund your dream lifestyle, whatever that lifestyle is, whether that's traveling nonstop, living out of a suitcase like I did for four years, or whether it's moving abroad to your dream country, or whether it's staying at home with your newborn and still being a boss mom.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: Like you get to have the life that you want when you have your own online business.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: So, without further ado, I'm just gonna jump right into it.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: I wanna give you the roadmap.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: This is exactly what I would do if you hired me today to help you completely replace your income with an online business.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: So we got a lot to cover.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: Let's get into it.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: Okay, so getting into it with step number one.
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: And this might sound obvious to you, but obviously it's easier said than done because if it were easy, you would be much further along in the process than you are right now.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: So the very first step to creating the life of your dreams and having an online business is to, of course, choose what business it is that you want to create.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: Now, the reason why this is easier said than done is probably because you are asking yourself the wrong question.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: You might be asking yourself the question of what business should I start?
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: When really you should be asking yourself, what are the skills that I currently have that could be leveraged into income?
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: My theory is that people don't ask themselves this question because they just don't really understand the remote work landscape.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: So let me just share my little perspective with you here on that.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: So when you think about careers in general, like there are so many careers out there.
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: It could be that you're a firefighter or a nurse or a doctor or a lawyer or um you could work in marketing or you could be an engineer, or the list just goes on and on.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: Like there's actually infinite careers out there.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: I just listed some of the basic ones that we would see like a Barbie dressed up as, right?
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: But um, it's so much more than that.
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: And you you inherently know that.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: I actually bet if you think about all the people that you know in the world, there would probably be a mix of a hundred, if not a thousand, different careers in there.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: You might not know that many people that are working online though.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: So therefore, you might not have those data points.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: But I do, okay.
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: I have thousands and thousands of data points of people that are working online.
- 9:07SPEAKER_00: And I know that there are literally just as many ways to work online as there are to work in the 3D world.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: So if there are truly infinite ways that you could have an online business, I think it's really important for you to know that there isn't just one type of person who becomes a digital nomad or builds a successful online business.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: And there isn't just one starting point of like a skill that you have or where you're at and your experience level.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: I want to give you some examples of real people that I have worked with that had super normy type careers and now they are all living their best life, running their business from anywhere.
- 9:48SPEAKER_00: So, just one of my favorites that always comes to mind because I think he really has such a cool story.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: There is my client Logan, who was actually working on power lines as an electrician or an engineer or something, but he was like literally out there on the power lines, and now he's building marketing funnels for TikTok shop creators.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: Okay, super random, but he made that transition.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: Tommy was someone who was working in interior design, not something that you would imagine that could be leveraged into online work, but together we found a way.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: And now he is doing still interior design, but in a location-independent method.
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: Sarah is someone I worked with who was in a nonprofit and she was also deep in the academic world.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: Like I'm pretty sure one of her uncles was like on the board of directors for Harvard.
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: So that's kind of the background that she was coming from, okay?
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: Nonprofit, highly academic, etc.
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: Now she is a life coach, helping people get off of the traditional path and onto something that's more authentic to them.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: Isabella is someone I worked with who was obsessed with Spain.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: I actually even forget what it was that she was doing, but um, she's gonna show up on my next podcast episode because she just graduated from the Digital Limited Life Academy.
- 11:03SPEAKER_00: Anyway, we basically leveraged her deep interest with living in Spain because she had studied abroad there, into a business where now she helps other people relocate to Spain.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: She guides them through the visa process, housing, logistics, et cetera.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: And um, yeah, she's got an amazing business, and you're gonna hear all about it in the next episode.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: Then there's Katie, who was a nurse, maybe one of the most traditional fields that's possible.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: And today she is a very successful podcast producer.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: Then there's Heather, who's who was an occupational therapist.
- 11:37SPEAKER_00: Also, what my mom does.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: My mom also has an online business.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: Anyway, both of these occupational therapists, Heather transitioned into running an online community for new mothers.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: And my mom, shout out to my mom who says she listens to every episode.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: My mom has a business where she helps people who are thrown into a caregiving position because their parent has dementia or something like that, into actually being a better caregiver.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: Lucy is someone I worked with who was a window design, like a window designer for shops, storefronts.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: She originally became a branding consultant, then she became a virtual assistant, and then she became a coach for people who want to become virtual assistants.
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: So Lucy is someone who came into my program and then scaled and scaled and scaled again through her pivoting.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: Tim is someone who's still in the program right now.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: He has really specialized experience doing um designing custom kitchens and cabinet work.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: And now he's transitioning that into a fully remote business.
- 12:37SPEAKER_00: Nergis is someone who was a wedding planner and now she's an SEO strategist for wedding industry professionals.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: Ben is someone who was in sales and now he is helping startups prepare investor pitch decks and raising capital.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: And I could keep going and going and going and going and going for real.
- 12:54SPEAKER_00: I've like I've had my business for six years.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: I've helped hundreds of people.
- 12:59SPEAKER_00: But the reason why I wanted to give you so many examples there is for you to start understanding the pattern here.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: Okay, the pattern is that all of these people had skills that some were obviously relevant and others were completely irrelevant.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: But it doesn't matter because they all were able to make a transition.
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: So I really hope that you took that bombardment of examples as proof that whoever you are, whatever your skill set is, we can figure it out together.
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: There is something out there for you.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: But the way that you're gonna figure out what is right for you isn't by copying what someone else did.
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: All of those different ideas that I just mentioned, or all those different businesses, real businesses I just mentioned, I didn't tell them to you to give you options.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: I told them to you to show you that there are infinite options and that there is something out there that is that can be customized to exactly who you are and what you are best at.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: So when I say that in this episode, I'm gonna tell you what I would do to help you figure that out, how I would help you replace your income.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: The very first thing that I would do with you is I would sit you down and I would give you the career assessment homework.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: Okay, you can ask anybody who has been in my program.
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: I could read you dozens of uh people talking about why this exercise is so important and profound.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: Basically, I give you some videos where I do something similar to what I just did.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: I'm like bombarding you with examples to really get it in your mind that there is something out there for you.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: You need to go into this experience and this um process open-minded.
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: If you're closed-minded, you're never gonna come up with an idea.
- 14:49SPEAKER_00: If you're open-minded, we can fill your open mind with lots of ideas and then we can narrow it down.
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: Okay, so you're gonna go in open-minded and then you're gonna fill out this questionnaire.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: This is not like a little type form 40-minute like answering a few questions.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: This is a deep, deep, deep dive into not just your resume or CV, but all of your past experiences, things that you enjoyed learning in school, major life experiences that left an impact or an imprint on you, an analysis of the way that you interpret different words.
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: Like I wanna know what emotions come up for you when you hear the word colorful and when you hear the word metadata.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: And if you don't know what metadata is, that's fine.
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: Nobody knows what it means.
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: I just need to know if you know what it means.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: I'm also gonna ask you if you are neurodivergent in any way, because guess what?
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: Most entrepreneurs are neurospicy in some kind of way.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna go on an alimb here and say that the vast majority of entrepreneurs and digital nomads I know have some variants of ADHD because people that have ADHD actually don't function so fluidly in the corporate environment.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: At least I sure didn't.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: When you have all of this structure and um like you're meant to show up super consistently, that just doesn't work with people who are neurodivergent that have the ability to go super, super deep into certain parts of their interests.
- 16:17SPEAKER_00: When you're an entrepreneur, that is actually gonna be one of your greatest strengths.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: But you've probably been trained your whole life to see this as a weakness.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: But no, no, no.
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: When you're an entrepreneur, it's probably gonna be the thing that fuels you forward.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: And I, as your career coach, I want to know if you have ADHD because I want to know, because if I find out that you do, I'm gonna ask you what your little ADHD quirks are.
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: And um, we'll be able to either create a business that accommodates your quirks or creates a business that allows you to go super deep into something that you are just naturally and inherently fascinated by.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: Imagine what your business would feel like if you were so interested, like fascinated in the subject matter.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: You would want to be working even if you're sitting on a beach in Mexico, because guess what?
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: That's how I am.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: I freaking love what I do.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: And therefore, whether I'm on a boat in Greece or on a cruise ship, or if I'm literally, I don't know, I've been to 70 countries.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: If I'm if I'm literally anywhere in the world, I still want to work on my business because I freaking love it.
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: And that's the goal here.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: The goal when I'm asking you all of these questions in that intake form is to find out what are your little tunnel vision passion points.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: And you know what?
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: If you're sitting there being like, I don't have any, yes, you do.
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: You have just been trained to believe that whatever they are isn't relevant to online business.
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: But look, I literally do this for a living.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: I can help you find out what it is, I promise.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: And if you can't, I will actually literally just give you your money back.
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: The other day I was like, why don't I just do a money back guarantee for the career assessment?
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: Like it's like they work so well.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: I can confidently do that.
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: So, anyway, if you are interested in a career assessment, slide into my DMs on Instagram and just send the word career assessment.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: We can have a conversation about whether it is right for you or not.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: Um, but just to carry on about um why it works so well.
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: So it's not just you behind the scenes filling out that questionnaire.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: Once you fill that out, now you and I get on a one-on-one call.
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: And um it's just, it's a little hard to explain the magic of this one-on-one call, but there's like this sorry if this sounds so woo-woo.
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: There is an energetic portal that opens up where I'm so tuned into you and all of the things that are relevant about our conversation are in the front of your mind because you've just done such a deep dive into all of those things.
- 18:48SPEAKER_00: That allows us to have a really efficient, super effective conversation.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: And by the end of that call, which is probably gonna be anywhere between 60 minutes to two hours, you're gonna be like, oh my God, why didn't I think about that?
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: And I'm gonna be like, well, it's probably because of this limiting belief and that limiting belief.
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: And I'm able, I'm gonna be able to identify all the things that previously have held you back.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: And then I will use whatever remaining time is of the call to set you up with a business plan and a structure that actually again accommodates all of your sweet little quirks and all the things that you love and don't love doing.
- 19:22SPEAKER_00: The way that I teach business is that anything is possible and we can we can let this be fun.
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: This doesn't have to be some kind of burdensome, like, oh my God, now I have to sit down at my desk and work.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: Like, this is not corporate anymore, babe.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: Like, no, this is something completely different.
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: We are here to help you live a more liberated, enjoyable life, and your work is such a big, big part of your life.
- 19:49SPEAKER_00: At least that's what I believe.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: So, usually at the beginning of these career assessment calls, I give my clients a disclaimer where I'm like, look, I'm gonna give you an idea at some point throughout this call.
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: And if I seem excited, but you're not excited, please tell me because I can just move on.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: I have no ego.
- 20:05SPEAKER_00: Frankly, I don't care what business you create.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: I couldn't care less.
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: I just care about you liking it.
- 20:12SPEAKER_00: So don't pretend that you like my idea just to appease my ego.
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: Like, that's not what this is.
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: I'm not your mom who's trying to convince you to become a doctor.
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: Actually, I'm someone who just wants a testimonial from you.
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: Actually, I'm someone who wants to see you do so well that you eventually become a guest on this podcast episode.
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: And uh yeah, you might notice if you are a frequent listener of the podcast, that many of the guest episodes that I do, I'm actually interviewing my successful clients.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: And you'll probably see that pattern again that all of my past successful clients are doing something different from one another.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: So now you might be wondering, okay, Krista, cool, you help people come up with a business idea that's aligned with their personality, but how do you teach all of these people who are doing such different things how to build a business?
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: Because that's the next thing that I would do, right?
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: If I'm helping you escape your nine to five, if I'm helping you replace your income in the fastest, most efficient, and enjoyable way pro possible, then obviously it's not just the idea, it's also the execution and the implementation of the idea.
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: So you might know that I have a program called the Digital Nomad Life Academy.
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: This is a minimum one-year membership because I think you need at least a year to really get your business not just up and running, but like taking off and starting to replace that income.
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: But you can also stay for multiple years.
- 21:38SPEAKER_00: And I have many people that are in the program for years and years because it continues to be relevant.
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: So here's why.
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: It's because the Digital Nomad Life Academy is not just teaching you how to build your specific business, it's teaching you how to be embodied as an entrepreneur.
- 21:59SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna say that again.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: I'm not just teaching you how to build a business.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: I'm training you to be an entrepreneur.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: I'm training you to think like an entrepreneur.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: I'm training you to step into your role of being someone who deeply understands the fundamental aspects of business and is able to see how business can be applied to literally anything.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: That's why this, this, that's why the DNLA keeps being relevant because once you become an entrepreneur, you will remain an entrepreneur and you will continue encountering different challenges that will require you to step outside of your comfort zone, meet your edges, and transcend them to grow and scale.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: So there are certain fundamental things that you need to learn and understand if you want to create a business.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: And I'm gonna go high level.
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: I actually I'm like, I can't believe I'm saying this in a podcast, but um yeah, like this is this is how you're gonna do it.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: So first things first.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: First things first, do not forget this.
- 23:07SPEAKER_00: This is the most important thing ever if you want to start a business.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: It is that you need to know who your business is serving.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: The biggest mistake that people that are creating businesses do when they don't know what they're doing is that they try to make a business that helps multiple archetypes of people.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: Okay, so like you can help men and women, that's fine.
- 23:34SPEAKER_00: You don't need to only make a business that's just for women.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: My business is is uh gender neutral, you could say, but I do help people that are wanting to replace their current income and start an online business.
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: I am not helping people that also want to start a physical business.
- 23:55SPEAKER_00: I'm not helping people grow in the corporate ladder.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: I'm not helping people get remote jobs.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: Trust me, there are a lot of people that are like, Krista, can you help me get a remote job?
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, nope, nope, that's actually first of all, unaligned with my mission.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: And second, I don't have a well-developed process for that.
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: If I were helping all these different kinds of people, I would be a freelance digital nomad career coach.
- 24:23SPEAKER_00: But that's not what I'm doing.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: I'm a business owner, and my business helps one archetype of person.
- 24:29SPEAKER_00: It is someone who is waking up in the morning with an alarm clock that doesn't want to go to work, but is still putting on their makeup, putting on their shoes, putting on some kind of stiff shirt and and, you know, tying a tie, and then is driving to some office that they're gonna sit under fluorescent lights and have to spend their time with a colleague that they're not necessarily super stoked to be spending eight hours a day with, ask when they can take their lunch break, and then ask when they can go home and then commute home and not have enough time to go to the gym or spend real quality time with your family.
- 25:07SPEAKER_00: Someone like that who actually dreams of traveling the world, someone who wants to live a life of freedom, someone who has really big dreams, but just currently feels a little bit stuck, someone that wants to live a life where they are fully leveraging their potential, where they feel like their skills, whatever their skills are, are actually being utilized and used to serve people.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: Help people who want to make an impact in the world.
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: Now, everything that I just said, um, you know what, there are like variants of this.
- 25:44SPEAKER_00: It's like it's okay if you are again a nurse and you're not, you know, putting on makeup to go to work, or if you actually already have a remote job, um, but your remote job is keeping a little bit expressed, like that's okay.
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: The the key here is the mindset, aka the psychographic of your clientele.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: So this is also a super important thing to know if you want to start a business and you don't want to be a freaking freelancer, you want to be a business owner.
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 26:14SPEAKER_00: So um, there's a difference between a demographic, which is a word you probably are already familiar with, and psychographic.
- 26:21SPEAKER_00: A demographic is like age, location, gender, um, occupation, income, like all of these things that can be organized by numbers and quantity.
- 26:35SPEAKER_00: A psychographic is the way that someone's mind works.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: It's more about their personality, it's about their problem that they currently have and the dream that they want to achieve.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: So you're gonna pick when you have a business, one person, one kind of person.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: And then you're gonna think about what's their problem and how can you bridge the gap from their problem to their dream situation.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: So, again, for example, I help someone who wants to have more freedom in their life.
- 27:10SPEAKER_00: My bridge is I help you come up with a business idea that's aligned with your personality and then launch and scale that business so that you can have a beautiful life of freedom and fulfillment.
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: So, whatever business you're gonna create, the way that I would help you replace your income is we're gonna come up with your I help statement.
- 27:32SPEAKER_00: So your I help statement includes I help blank insert the kind of person that you support, go from insert the problem situation that they are experiencing to dream state, insert the beautiful outcome that you could help them provide.
- 27:57SPEAKER_00: Now, um sometimes I think people that listen to this podcast or like my clients, they want to have some kind of like really dreamy I help statement, and they feel unsatisfied when the I help statement is something like I help TikTok shop creators make more money with an evergreen funnel.
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: Okay, like like the first example that I gave you, Logan, that would be his I help statement.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: Um, that might sound not so inspiring to you, and that might make you like, oh, it's not meaningful.
- 28:30SPEAKER_00: But another thing that I think is really important that we talk about in the DNLA is that your first business doesn't need to be your last.
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: Your first business is your vehicle to enter the realm of entrepreneurship.
- 28:46SPEAKER_00: And as long as your business is getting you in the right direction, then it's going to be a worthwhile year, even if you create a business that you're ultimately not going to continue doing.
- 28:59SPEAKER_00: Um, so I was just talking to one of my clients last night who he uh what was he doing?
- 29:06SPEAKER_00: He was an actor.
- 29:07SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 29:07SPEAKER_00: So one of my one of my current clients has been an actor and recently decided to give up his career on acting in order to pursue an online business.
- 29:19SPEAKER_00: So he came into the DNL and he had already kind of gotten his um feet wet in the realm of podcast production.
- 29:28SPEAKER_00: So that's what he started doing.
- 29:30SPEAKER_00: And um, he's been working on that podcast production business for the past like six or so months.
- 29:37SPEAKER_00: But he just shared with me that he's thinking about pivoting into something that feels a bit more aligned with him.
- 29:45SPEAKER_00: And he's thinking, oh, I think I can actually leverage my acting skills to help people be better, more effective content creators, which is such a genius idea.
- 29:56SPEAKER_00: I think that's amazing.
- 29:57SPEAKER_00: Um, but he was like, but I'm not sure if that's what I want to do.
- 30:01SPEAKER_00: And um was asking if if I think that he should do a career assessment.
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, well, why do you think you wouldn't do a career assessment?
- 30:09SPEAKER_00: And he's like, well, I already have the idea.
- 30:11SPEAKER_00: What if you tell me that um the idea that I have is good and that's what I end up doing?
- 30:15SPEAKER_00: Wouldn't that be kind of a waste of the career assessment?
- 30:17SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, no, it wouldn't be at all.
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: Because on that career assessment, we'll either be able to eliminate any other idea that you're possibly considering so that you can go full send into this new idea.
- 30:30SPEAKER_00: And also, we can always use this career assessment time to expedite the growth of your next business idea.
- 30:39SPEAKER_00: So he was like, Oh, I just feel really bad about it because, you know, I spent all this time like building this first business and now it like I don't know if I am feeling like a failure because I'm pivoting, because the first one didn't really work out.
- 30:52SPEAKER_00: And what I told him, or my perspective, is that the last however many months that he spent working as a podcast producer was not time wasted because during that process, he had a vehicle to apply his learnings of entrepreneurship to.
- 31:11SPEAKER_00: So in the Digital Nomad Life Academy, you know, when you sit in on these group calls, you are hearing other people talk about their different business ideas, which always gets your wheels turning about different services and things that you could add on to your own business.
- 31:25SPEAKER_00: But we're talking about the same concepts, which is the ideal client and the pain to dream transformation and your IHELP statement and all these fundamental things that go into creating an effective business.
- 31:40SPEAKER_00: So he didn't know any of that stuff before he joined the program.
- 31:44SPEAKER_00: Now he knows, and it's like he's got all the neural pathways.
- 31:47SPEAKER_00: It's not just he listened to me have five sentences being like, this is what you need to do.
- 31:52SPEAKER_00: Because we all know that's not how learning actually works.
- 31:54SPEAKER_00: You need to be in the thick of it, trying it, exercising these concepts with a real life example that's meaningful to you.
- 32:02SPEAKER_00: So he spent all of these months doing that, which I'm like, yo, I understand that you're pivoting and you might think that you're starting over, but you're not, because a pivot is now you're taking everything that you just spent all this time working on, and you're just you're now applying all the things that you've learned to a new idea.
- 32:22SPEAKER_00: And it's instead of taking now six months, it's gonna take you like two weeks.
- 32:27SPEAKER_00: And he was like, Oh, that's actually true.
- 32:29SPEAKER_00: Like, I do know what I'm doing now.
- 32:31SPEAKER_00: So yeah, that is the thing.
- 32:32SPEAKER_00: Like when you join the Digital Nomad Life Academy, it the point of me sharing that story is that yes, I'm gonna give you a business idea that is aligned with, you know, what I think you could be good at right now.
- 32:46SPEAKER_00: And we're also probably gonna talk about long term what you would be good at like two years from now, once you are identified as an entrepreneur, because your first business doesn't need to be your last.
- 32:59SPEAKER_00: It's always okay to pivot.
- 33:01SPEAKER_00: This is not you climbing the corporate ladder, and the second that you change careers, you have to fall all the way back down.
- 33:08SPEAKER_00: When you are an entrepreneur, you are on a jungle gym.
- 33:12SPEAKER_00: I think I've gone into this metaphor in depth in a different episode.
- 33:16SPEAKER_00: If I forget which one, but that's another key concept.
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: Like something I really want you to take away from this episode and also from the DNLA when you join is that you're jumping on the jungle gym when you join the Digital Nomad Life Academy.
- 33:30SPEAKER_00: I'm teaching you how to hang tight, how to like roll with the punches, how to process the different ideas and concepts on your own so that once you become an entrepreneur, you stay an entrepreneur.
- 33:44SPEAKER_00: I think that when you join other programs, like I'm not gonna mention any names, but there's um like a large creator who is teaching everyone to do high-ticket sales.
- 33:54SPEAKER_00: I love her.
- 33:55SPEAKER_00: I think she's amazing.
- 33:57SPEAKER_00: I like really respect her work.
- 33:59SPEAKER_00: And it also just breaks my heart a little bit when um I hear, because people sometimes come from her program into mine, they're like, yeah, I learned high-ticket sales from this creator.
- 34:12SPEAKER_00: But then I realize that I don't actually want to do high-ticket sales.
- 34:16SPEAKER_00: And now all I know is a high-ticket sales business model.
- 34:21SPEAKER_00: But I actually want to do something else where is if you join my program first, you would learn how to create your own business models.
- 34:30SPEAKER_00: And then if you decided later you want to go into high-ticket sales, boom, you would just know exactly what it is that you need to do.
- 34:36SPEAKER_00: So um, yeah, if you really want to go from zero to one or one to two or two to three, all the all the first few stages of your business, um, the Digital Number Life Academy can support you in that.
- 34:51SPEAKER_00: And um, they're well, actually, let's get back to let's get back to me talking about the step-by-steps of again how I would help you replace your income.
- 35:02SPEAKER_00: Okay, getting back on track to how I would personally help you replace your income.
- 35:08SPEAKER_00: Step one, again, is to come up with a business idea that makes sense for you and your personality.
- 35:14SPEAKER_00: When it makes sense for you, it's just gonna be so much easier, so much more enjoyable for you to work on.
- 35:19SPEAKER_00: And therefore, you're probably gonna go a lot faster and farther with that particular idea than if you followed some kind of random trending business idea from TikTok.
- 35:28SPEAKER_00: Okay, so that's step number one.
- 35:30SPEAKER_00: Then step number two is to actually come up with the foundational concepts of your business, which is who you want to help, how you're gonna help them, and the pain to dream transformation that you will guide them on.
- 35:44SPEAKER_00: The next thing is you're going to want to validate that particular business idea.
- 35:50SPEAKER_00: You're gonna do this with market research.
- 35:52SPEAKER_00: Inside of the DNLA, I teach you how to do market research in the most effective way.
- 35:57SPEAKER_00: But essentially the concept here is that you just wanna make sure that someone else is making money in that way.
- 36:05SPEAKER_00: Because the internet is so vast, it's actually a really good thing if you find direct competitors.
- 36:13SPEAKER_00: When there are no direct competitors, it's a little bit sus because you're probably not gonna be creating anything for your very first business that's totally disruptive.
- 36:25SPEAKER_00: I'm not trying to get you to make the next Uber or the next, I don't know, whatever Airbnb type business that like totally changed an industry where there isn't a competitor.
- 36:37SPEAKER_00: You want to create something that has competitors.
- 36:40SPEAKER_00: Ideally, you have a lot of competitors because when you create a business in the way that I teach you how to create a business, it's it's good for you to have other businesses that exist for you to find inspiration from, for you to get a heat reading on what kind of price point makes sense for that particular industry, what kind of expectations your customers have of your business and of the outcome that you are providing for them.
- 37:07SPEAKER_00: Again, I can't stress this enough.
- 37:09SPEAKER_00: Competition is a very, very good thing.
- 37:12SPEAKER_00: Something that I hear from a lot of people is oh my gosh, the market is so quote, saturated.
- 37:18SPEAKER_00: Like let's say online fitness is saturated.
- 37:22SPEAKER_00: Okay, these people that say things like that probably don't understand the concept of blue ocean theory.
- 37:29SPEAKER_00: Blue ocean theory is something that I do teach about in the DNLA very, very early on because when you have this theory, it really sets up your mindset for you to see the abundance of possibilities versus scarcity of possibilities.
- 37:46SPEAKER_00: Um, abundance versus scarcity mindset, again, also another really key thing that I would guide you through if I were to help you replace your income.
- 37:54SPEAKER_00: But um anyway, back to the blue ocean theory.
- 37:57SPEAKER_00: So this theory suggests that the internet is the ocean and um every fish in the ocean is a paying customer.
- 38:05SPEAKER_00: So if you are trying to enter into an industry where um it's saturated, for example, let's say like the online fitness coaching industry.
- 38:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you go there, um, that's what people I think say is the most saturated thing.
- 38:20SPEAKER_00: So you, if you are trying to go after the same exact customers that the quote big sharks in the ocean are already pursuing, you're gonna be in a red ocean where it's really bloody.
- 38:34SPEAKER_00: Like the sharks are already eating all of those fish.
- 38:37SPEAKER_00: But there are places and ways online that you can go to a blue ocean for super random example.
- 38:45SPEAKER_00: Like let's say that you are gonna be an online fitness coach for women in their 50s, okay?
- 38:52SPEAKER_00: And you are, or for new moms, like women that have very limited amount of time or they have a baby on their hip, um, or women that are like freshly into retirement and want to look the best in their life despite the fact that they're mature women.
- 39:09SPEAKER_00: Um, or maybe you are gonna work with men who are recently recovering from a shoulder injury because maybe they got that shoulder injury while playing paddle.
- 39:19SPEAKER_00: It's a real life example for me.
- 39:21SPEAKER_00: I had a shoulder injury and I had to adjust my workouts.
- 39:24SPEAKER_00: And if there was some fitness coach that was like, hey, you have that, you hey, you're a paddle player.
- 39:30SPEAKER_00: Here are some specific movements that you can do that will help you.
- 39:35SPEAKER_00: There's actually an entire gym in the city that I live in in Bali that is specifically a gym for surfers.
- 39:43SPEAKER_00: So that's what I mean about Blue Ocean.
- 39:46SPEAKER_00: Actually, oh my gosh, if you've ever been to Bali, you know that the gyms here are super, super niche and super, super specific.
- 39:53SPEAKER_00: I actually use the gyms in the city that I live in, Chenggu, um, to talk about branding and niching.
- 40:02SPEAKER_00: So, like Chenggu has become basically like a fitness hub.
- 40:07SPEAKER_00: Uh, if you want to get fit, if you want to be at the best gyms, most specific gyms, you come here because there's a gym for bodybuilders, there is a gym for Muay Thai, there is a gym that specializes in female fitness classes, there is a gym that specializes in yoga.
- 40:25SPEAKER_00: Obviously, the the again, the gym for surfers, like there's a gym that's um really aesthetic and it's for influencers.
- 40:32SPEAKER_00: And the reason why it's for influencers is because they allow your tripod to be there when many other gyms don't allow your tripod to be there.
- 40:38SPEAKER_00: So even though I'm in a city that let's say like the gym scene is super saturated, there's a gym every half mile, and they're all so fabulous with the best recovery center and the best food and top, top-notch teachers from all around the world.
- 40:54SPEAKER_00: There still are new gyms opening all the time.
- 40:57SPEAKER_00: They're just getting more niche and more specific because they're understanding that if they just created a standard gym, they would lose in the red ocean of fitness centers here.
- 41:10SPEAKER_00: But if they can make their gym a little bit niche, it would be c they would be tapping into the blue ocean theory.
- 41:18SPEAKER_00: So competition is a good thing.
- 41:20SPEAKER_00: Like these gym owners that are coming to Bali and and creating new gyms here, they are doing that despite the quote saturated market, because actually it's good for them.
- 41:33SPEAKER_00: The whole world is starting to see Changgu as a fitness epicenter.
- 41:38SPEAKER_00: So the customers, the fish are flocking to this place, but they just need to find the blue ocean aspect of or the blue, yeah, the blue ocean niche of fitness here in Changgu.
- 41:51SPEAKER_00: So the point that I'm making here is you want to validate that there are other people that are buying the thing that you want to offer already.
- 42:00SPEAKER_00: And you don't have to be like a direct copycat of the other businesses that are doing really well.
- 42:06SPEAKER_00: You're gonna see what's working well, and then you're gonna tweak it ever so slightly so that it calls out to a very, very specific kind of person that you've already identified that you want to help with.
- 42:18SPEAKER_00: Step number one.
- 42:20SPEAKER_00: And then once you have your whole business concept, you've validated it, you see that this is a legit business idea that really has legs, the competition is healthy and good.
- 42:30SPEAKER_00: Now you're going to actually take the steps to create that business, which involves coming up with what your offer actually looks like, how much you're going to price it at, if there's any kind of ascension model, which means like maybe there's a like a cheaper product that they can buy first, just so that they become aware of your business.
- 42:51SPEAKER_00: And then ultimately you guide them through a path of um creating, offering them something that's more quote, high-ticket, like something that's more expensive.
- 43:00SPEAKER_00: Because the more expensive your product is, the less clients you need.
- 43:04SPEAKER_00: And the less clients you need, the less marketing you need.
- 43:09SPEAKER_00: Um, and that is basically the final step is learning how to market your business.
- 43:14SPEAKER_00: I think that marketing is something that really scares a lot of people and makes them think that um they're not gonna have success in their business because they quote, never studied marketing or they don't understand marketing, or they're not, quote, good at marketing.
- 43:29SPEAKER_00: And the thing is, nobody came out of the womb good at marketing.
- 43:32SPEAKER_00: Sure, there are people that are maybe more creative or more empathetic than others.
- 43:37SPEAKER_00: Those are two soft skills that really um are very useful in marketing.
- 43:43SPEAKER_00: But marketing is always changing and you can make marketing super specific.
- 43:48SPEAKER_00: There's so many different platforms that you can go on, but there are some fundamental aspects of marketing that will help you be successful no matter what platform you use.
- 43:57SPEAKER_00: And that also is something that I would guide you through in the DNLA.
- 44:01SPEAKER_00: Um, I don't have like a marketing assessment in the same way that I have a career assessment, but I do have methods to help you identify what is the marketing plan that makes the most sense for you and your business.
- 44:14SPEAKER_00: And um when you're inside of the DNLA, because you're there for a whole year, I get to know you really well.
- 44:19SPEAKER_00: That by the time you're ready to market your business, I'm actually able to suggest probably a marketing strategy for you that makes sense for you without even having to go through some kind of actual legitimate process.
- 44:32SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, when you are marketing your business effectively, that now becomes your work essentially as a business owner.
- 44:40SPEAKER_00: And you're gonna spend time finding clients, marketing to clients, securing them as clients, and then serving those clients.
- 44:48SPEAKER_00: And there's a few very, very, very simple strategies that you can do to do all of that completely remotely, but it does depend on what kind of business.
- 44:58SPEAKER_00: And now we're kind of getting into the weeds here with this podcast, and I want to keep it a little bit more general.
- 45:03SPEAKER_00: But just know that um my philosophy when I work with my clients on quote, replacing your income, because that's what I want for you, right?
- 45:12SPEAKER_00: I want you to replace your income while you still have an income so that when you do replace your income, you can quit your job and then just immediately feel super safe being 100% all in on your entrepreneurship journey.
- 45:30SPEAKER_00: Personally, I had replaced my income with my business and still kept my job for another three months before I quit because I just wanted to make sure that my income was really, really, really stable.
- 45:44SPEAKER_00: I do not like feeling financial scarcity.
- 45:48SPEAKER_00: And I don't want you to feel financial scarcity.
- 45:50SPEAKER_00: So just know that I'm not the kind of business coach that's gonna encourage you to quit your job prematurely.
- 45:56SPEAKER_00: I'm the kind of business coach that's gonna help you figure out how to create and run your online business in a way that allows you to live your dream life and and allows you to feel really good about your career, about your income, about the work that you're doing and takes into account the way that you are currently living.
- 46:19SPEAKER_00: Does that make sense?
- 46:20SPEAKER_00: Like I I feel like when you join other business coaching programs, especially ones that are three-month boot camps, they're like, okay, first week you're gonna do this, next week you're gonna do this, then this, then this, then this.
- 46:30SPEAKER_00: And they keep you moving super, super fast.
- 46:32SPEAKER_00: But you can't possibly have a full-time job when you're doing a boot camp style business like that.
- 46:39SPEAKER_00: Um, it just doesn't work, it doesn't make sense.
- 46:42SPEAKER_00: So, you know, I'm really here to help you change your life sustainably in a way that teaches you how to be an entrepreneur, not how to start a business, but how to be an entrepreneur so that whatever business you create inside of the DNL, you can go on and create another one and another one and another one all the way up until you retire.
- 47:01SPEAKER_00: And maybe you're gonna try retire when you're in your 50s because you've started now.
- 47:07SPEAKER_00: I obviously don't know how old you are.
- 47:08SPEAKER_00: Um, by the way, people that join my program, they're anywhere between 18 and 70.
- 47:14SPEAKER_00: So you can be any age that you want in order to do this.
- 47:17SPEAKER_00: It is never, ever, ever too late for you to change your career when you don't have to ask someone else to hire you.
- 47:27SPEAKER_00: We are so done with that.
- 47:28SPEAKER_00: We are so done asking for permission.
- 47:30SPEAKER_00: We are so done trying to uh show.
- 47:35SPEAKER_00: Another employer that we are worthy of them paying our full salary every month.
- 47:40SPEAKER_00: We are so over having one other business dictate our income.
- 47:46SPEAKER_00: We are so over asking for a raise.
- 47:50SPEAKER_00: What we are into now is waking up when we want.
- 47:53SPEAKER_00: What we are into now is every day that you open up your laptop, you're going to tune into your energy and do work that is most aligned with how you currently feel.
- 48:01SPEAKER_00: If you're feeling creative, there's definitely creative stuff that you can do today.
- 48:05SPEAKER_00: If you're feeling more left-brained, there's definitely more logistical and specific uh automated things that you can do today.
- 48:12SPEAKER_00: And um, we're just over you playing small in your life.
- 48:17SPEAKER_00: Look, if you found this podcast, you are so capable of living the life that you want.
- 48:25SPEAKER_00: You probably are just experiencing a few limiting beliefs or lack of information or lack of clarity that if you had a little bit more information, if you had a little bit more clarity, if you had someone showing you the step-by-step process, if you had someone taking you through the roadmap, it would be so easy for you.
- 48:45SPEAKER_00: So please just trust me, you deserve to believe in yourself.
- 48:50SPEAKER_00: You deserve to take a chance on yourself because you deserve the life that you want.
- 48:55SPEAKER_00: And it is so much closer to you than you currently realize.
- 49:01SPEAKER_00: So I know I gave you the full roadmap in this podcast episode, and you are literally so welcome to just like try to follow it yourself.
- 49:13SPEAKER_00: But do take this message seriously that mentorship is the difference between changing your life within six months versus changing your life within six years or never.
- 49:24SPEAKER_00: Personally, the first time that I had the idea that I wanted to start a business was way back in 2013.
- 49:32SPEAKER_00: That was the year that I first moved abroad.
- 49:34SPEAKER_00: I moved to Thailand and um I actually had an office job while I was there, which was amazing.
- 49:39SPEAKER_00: It was so cool being an office expat and you know, working in another culture and everything.
- 49:45SPEAKER_00: But it was when I was in Thailand that I started meeting all these other people that worked online, all these other people that were living unconventional lifestyles, that were choosing passion over performance, meaning like performing for society, performing for your parents, performing for your boss.
- 50:04SPEAKER_00: People that said, Oh, you know what?
- 50:07SPEAKER_00: I want to live life on my terms.
- 50:09SPEAKER_00: So those were the kind of people that I met when I was there.
- 50:12SPEAKER_00: And I was really inspired by them.
- 50:14SPEAKER_00: And I noticed that so many of them were business owners.
- 50:16SPEAKER_00: So I thought, oh, I could be a business owner.
- 50:19SPEAKER_00: And that was when I first bought a domain name.
- 50:22SPEAKER_00: It was called Expats and Backpacks.
- 50:24SPEAKER_00: And I was gonna start a blog for people that were just like me.
- 50:28SPEAKER_00: And you know what?
- 50:29SPEAKER_00: It was going well enough, but like I had the idea there, but I couldn't figure out the back end.
- 50:37SPEAKER_00: Like I couldn't figure out the tech of um the website that I was building.
- 50:41SPEAKER_00: And therefore, I ended up just like giving up after so many hours of trying to figure it out myself.
- 50:46SPEAKER_00: When if I just had a mentor, if I just had someone to help me analyze why I was so triggered about my lack of ability in that particular area, I probably would have been able to move through that roadblock and I wouldn't have self-sabotaged, aka quit.
- 51:03SPEAKER_00: And um, all these other businesses that I tried to start, like an e-commerce business.
- 51:08SPEAKER_00: I also tried to create a photography business, a retreat business.
- 51:12SPEAKER_00: Like over the years, I had no limit of business ideas.
- 51:18SPEAKER_00: For me, they're always flowing.
- 51:20SPEAKER_00: That's that's why I do the career assessment.
- 51:21SPEAKER_00: I I'm a fountain of business ideas and now I can get paid to give them to other people.
- 51:26SPEAKER_00: But yeah, like I also have no limit of business ideas for myself.
- 51:30SPEAKER_00: So that wasn't the problem.
- 51:32SPEAKER_00: The problem was that I had no one to show me the way.
- 51:37SPEAKER_00: I had no one to help me overcome my blind spots.
- 51:40SPEAKER_00: I had no one to help me overcome the obstacles that I was creating, no one to help me overcome my limiting beliefs, and no one to help me overcome my self-sabotaging behaviors.
- 51:51SPEAKER_00: When you're building your first business, you're probably gonna be solo, especially again when you're creating a business in the way that I teach you, where you don't need an investor, you don't need a big budget, you just need yourself and your energy.
- 52:04SPEAKER_00: But you probably do need someone to be in your corner.
- 52:08SPEAKER_00: And if you're like most people, you don't have anybody that is living the life that you want in your in your life, right?
- 52:16SPEAKER_00: You you might know someone else who's an entrepreneur, but they might not be an online entrepreneur.
- 52:23SPEAKER_00: You might have other people in your life that think that anything that you're doing is amazing.
- 52:27SPEAKER_00: Like you might have the most supportive mom ever in your life, but she might not know how to help you move through your fears and limiting beliefs because she's not brave enough to do what you're trying.
- 52:40SPEAKER_00: So therefore, your fears and limiting beliefs seem so valid to her that she's gonna be like, oh, you're right, maybe this just isn't the right thing for you.
- 52:48SPEAKER_00: And that's gonna feel supportive, but it's actually not because the only thing that's supportive for you right now is someone who is able to literally lift you up every time that you fall down.
- 53:01SPEAKER_00: And you will fall down because that's part of entrepreneurship.
- 53:06SPEAKER_00: Like when you're climbing the corporate ladder, there is a very clear path laid out before you.
- 53:11SPEAKER_00: And um, you have mentors all along the way, mentors or a boss, whatever you want to call it.
- 53:16SPEAKER_00: You have other people who've been there and done that that can show you the step-by-step direction, tell you exactly what you're expected to do, exactly where you're projected to go.
- 53:24SPEAKER_00: But when you're an entrepreneur, you don't.
- 53:26SPEAKER_00: Even if you're in a super saturated marketplace um or is, you know, a place where the business model is super tried and true, still, your business is always gonna be yours and it's always gonna be the first time that your business has ever existed.
- 53:41SPEAKER_00: Therefore, you need someone that has been where you are going so that they can help you guide you along the path that you are creating for yourself.
- 53:53SPEAKER_00: And that is my hot take on mentorship.
- 53:56SPEAKER_00: For me, the only reason why I was able to get out of my rut of starting and starting and starting different businesses that ended up going nowhere was because I hired a mentor back in 2020.
- 54:08SPEAKER_00: And that was the beginning of the Digital Nomad Life Academy, which now I'm so proud is six years running.
- 54:13SPEAKER_00: Again, it's it's hit its million-dollar mark, and um, it generates me enough income that I've been able to just live my literal best life saying yes to whatever I want, whatever trip I want, whatever festival I want, whatever experience I want, whatever days off I want to take.
- 54:32SPEAKER_00: Like I get to live the life of my dreams every single day because I have an online business that actually works and that I genuinely really love.
- 54:40SPEAKER_00: And that's what I want for you.
- 54:42SPEAKER_00: Like I said at the beginning of this episode, I'm not running my business anymore because I have big goals.
- 54:48SPEAKER_00: I'm having I'm running my business because I want to help you and everyone like you, who is just like I was, change their lives once and for all.
- 54:58SPEAKER_00: I am convinced the world will be a better place when more people like what they do.
- 55:03SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be more happy people working 40 hours a week on something that they actually feel is meaningful and will contribute, not just feeding the freaking machine, not just a cog in the wheel of the matrix.
- 55:18SPEAKER_00: Okay, rant over.
- 55:20SPEAKER_00: Look, if you are here, trust me, you can do this.
- 55:26SPEAKER_00: And I would love to show you how.
- 55:27SPEAKER_00: And if you have any questions, any hesitations on whether it's right for you specifically, just slide into my DMs on Instagram with the keyword RRR.
- 55:39SPEAKER_00: And that is an opportunity for you to book a call with a member of my team who's actually gone through my program herself.
- 55:45SPEAKER_00: And she'll give you that remote readiness rating.
- 55:48SPEAKER_00: She will help you identify how far along you actually are in terms of your skill set and your abilities and your motivation to starting a remote business.
- 55:58SPEAKER_00: Um, that'll she'll actually give you a score of anywhere from uh like zero to a hundred.
- 56:03SPEAKER_00: Most people that even apply are almost always above 50%, but you might be way higher than you're giving yourself credit for.
- 56:11SPEAKER_00: So it might be interesting for you to just find out what your score actually is, and then we can talk about if the DNLA is right for you or not.
- 56:21SPEAKER_00: Again, you can do this.
- 56:23SPEAKER_00: You're probably so much closer than you think.
- 56:26SPEAKER_00: You just gotta believe in yourself and you gotta take a chance.
- 56:29SPEAKER_00: You gotta take action.
- 56:31SPEAKER_00: You cannot create the life of your dreams sitting there doing nothing but listening to free podcasts.
- 56:36SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 56:38SPEAKER_00: Okay, you know my opinion.
- 56:39SPEAKER_00: Slide into my DMs at Cristabella Travels with the keyword R R R.
- 56:45SPEAKER_00: And let's talk about how you can create your own online business, replace your income, quit your job, and start living your best life.
- 56:54SPEAKER_00: Thanks for listening to the Digital Not My Life podcast, and we'll see you in the next episode.
- 56:58SPEAKER_00: Bye.
