- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: 6, 7, 8, 26.
- 0:02[SPEAKER_00]: That's famously how it goes.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_00]: I love a number.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't realize you're saying a number.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it's the 26th anniversary of Gilmour Girls.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_00]: Here we go.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_00]: Hi everybody, welcome back to Gilmour to say with Tara and Haley.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Tara.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_00]: This is Haley.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_00]: Hi Haley.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: Hi Tara.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_00]: Happy birthday Gilmour girls.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_00]: Almost.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_01]: Almost.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_00]: It's on its way.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's um it's this weekend.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's the end of September.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's next week.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it's next Monday.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're so right.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_01]: And it would have made sense to do that episode.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_00]: to be the Gilmour Girls anniversary episode.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_00]: I mean on the 6th, yeah, but we have some plans for the 6th because we also have to celebrate Rory Gilmour's birthday.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_00]: We do.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_00]: As we do the year.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, every year.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: And guys, no, it's been five years and five seasons.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_01]: You know what we do, you know what we do, you know, we've been here before and we have a fun guess.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_01]: We have them on Rory Kea next week.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's a journalist turned novelist.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: We've got some very very Gilmour questions for her to celebrate her birthday.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but we're celebrating the 26th anniversary of Gilmour Girls.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: which is the 25th anniversary of season two, which is the 24th anniversary of season three.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_00]: And so on and so forth.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to be celebrating the show while.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_00]: The 25th anniversary of season two, I am so excited about.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: I actually have to check and see when it's season two of Gilmore Girls Air.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_00]: Season two, it's September.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_00]: In September, you think?
- 1:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_00]: Because October was the
- 1:36[SPEAKER_00]: very exciting.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, love, love, love.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: And we will be commemorating that the 25th anniversary of season two with Jess, Mariano, November.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_01]: So you'll get ready for that.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_01]: We still have a month until that.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: But you can get ready nonetheless.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: We're getting ready.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: We're getting ready.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: I'm ready, ready.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: No, ready, ready.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, we should do some Jess lines.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: We don't have to do a whole episode about Jess lines.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, but there's just some that like I feel like probably won't make it into today's list.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: but should be celebrated in the night.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_00]: I totally agree.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_00]: But as we spoke to in last week's episode, which was, well, we had cheese gal, of course, Courtney look for it, looks for so much.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so happy for her.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: Like, she's just killing it, crushing it, and I can't wait to make some of the recipes from her book.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I already made some like Pocon cookies with the potato chips in it.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_01]: Ooh.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_01]: Tara, when I tell her that's so good, like, it was sad though because me just so can't eat pecans and so I was like, I have a full tray of cookies to eat, oh no, oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: so much I'm excited for, but right before that, we did our how to have an analog on a episode and we told you guys that we would be doing the top 26 lines, yeah, of Gilmore Girls, which I think we need to lay out some parameters for because I myself came up with 30.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: I know we said we were going to bring 20 to do that.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_00]: I brought 30.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I brought 30 this way.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_01]: I actually have 14 and then I have about 20 honorable mentions.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_01]: So it was quite hard for me because in this episode, we want to come up with the top 26 lines.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think we'll be ranking them.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_01]: There's actually no way to rank them.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: We'd be here for 100 years.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you can live 100 years without really live for a minute, you know?
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: And so sorry.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_01]: That too.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: But I just feel like there's so many different ways that I was categorizing them.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: That you would categorize them.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: that our besties are like, actually this doesn't actually make any sense to categorize it this way that I feel like all of us would have very different top 26 lines.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_01]: So this is kind of like general.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of like today's top 26 lines because if you ask me again next week, I'm going to remember different things.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to have the same thing about the episodes, the top episodes of Gilmore Girls last year, the top 25.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: Of course.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: I already like to use masks in this today or tomorrow or year from now, I'm going to have a different answer.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I did.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: Bye.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: I love the concept of this because it kind of was a riff off of the best townelines episode that we did earlier this year.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it's so much fun.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I had a great time.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: And so I think it's going to be kind of like that.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_00]: Like what is the best?
- 4:25[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 4:25[SPEAKER_00]: How do we define the best?
- 4:27[SPEAKER_01]: Well, here's my question for you.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, in terms of the show, which has just phenomenal writing.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes the line itself does not convey such because it was the delivery of the line.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's the context of the line because I get to take the line out of its context.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_01]: There's a couple of them that I'm like, oh, this is a fantastic line to just say in general.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_01]: There are some that are just my vocal stems that like, people are like, that's your favorite line.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's actually kind of insane.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_01]: But then there's other ones that in the context, they are fantastic.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: But some of them, it's just because fucking Lauren Graham said them.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: So they're brilliant.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: So like, what is the true, what is the true parameters here?
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we kind of face that with townies, right?
- 5:13[SPEAKER_00]: Like, a lap is an illusion, hilarious line, but it was delivered by TJ and it made it even better.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: Or in better.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_01]: Some of them.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: This turkey burger is a very dry.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: Like,
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: I just standing a vision, but I do think it's because of the delivery.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: So I have a little bit of a blend here.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: I have some that I think are just like such well written and also well-delivered lines.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: But I also think we have to give our flowers to the delivery of such well written lines.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think we'll kind of know as we present these to each other.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_01]: Well, then how, okay, outside of that, I think that there are some lines that it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the writing, but maybe what it means to the show.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm just like, I'm most iconic lines of Gilmore Girls is a little bit different, and I have some of those in here as well.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: Because I just think that they represent what the show means to a lot of people, but our context would make no sense to the untrained eye.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: And so I think that we have to have kind of a blend.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_00]: of like, if someone heard this line out of context, would they laugh, would they be in deer to it, would they go, oh, you know, or would they hear it and go like, what?
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I think that's a thing is like, there is like an insular nature to it.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's like a little bit of an inside joke nature, but the other half of it is like these are really great.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: But some of them, they're just like so iconic that like, I didn't put them on my list and I was like, our people gonna be like, wait, you didn't even include that one, that's one of the most iconic lines.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_01]: but it's not necessarily like a showcase of writing or a line delivery.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like what it means to us as a whole.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I think it's going to be a combination of all three of those, though.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, personally.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_00]: I think that we can justify putting ones on the list because of what they mean to the show and the series and the fandom itself.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_00]: But I also think there are some lines in here that like I kind of forgot about and then I was like, oh, this is brilliant writing Which is a test to a testament to the show.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: You know, yes, absolutely.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_00]: I am going to try to deliver these the way that you delivered the Touny lines because your dad says something really funny about how we did that episode.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: The eye like do the impressions you just say the word.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: I just say it I just say the line.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to deliver these initially
- 7:25[SPEAKER_01]: Just be other words and then I might do an impression.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, everyone out there is they're they're rioting There's no big people's over.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'm driving in the traffic hearing the tears not going to do the impressions I didn't say I wasn't going to do the impressions.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: I said I was going to first present them as just words
- 7:44[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, everyone.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_00]: I was going to take that back.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be better for one is like going back 15 seconds to be in a session.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, me screaming you.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: Well, those are a lot.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: But before we get into it, I do have something that we didn't talk about last week, but our merch went up last week for fall.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_00]: And I feel like we need to give a little shout to it because in
- 8:07[SPEAKER_00]: Having an analog autumn, you have to have the merch to go along with it.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_00]: And we also have an autumn festival tea that has been released.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: So you can shop all of those now at www.galmortissate.com.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: We also have some really signed up.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, slash shop.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: We also have some really fun pieces up coming for the rest of the year.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_00]: But this was, this was one of my favorites.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_00]: It kind of is like stamps, and that it came to us like out of nowhere.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: And Emily Kelly, who is just an absolutely lovely boat.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_00]: Designed both of them so quickly for us.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Autumn Festival had been in the works for a while, but analog Autumn, we were just like, hey, we're doing this episode, you down.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_00]: She was like, I'm down in three days later.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_00]: She had design.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: So...
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: So...
- 8:50[SPEAKER_01]: Poor Emily.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: She knows that we know what we want, but we can't always say what we want because we don't know how to talk about what we want But she gets there.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, it's really great.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: I really love the autumn festival because the intention of it is to feel like you went to the autumn festival Yes, I mean you got this you got this T-shirt.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I went to the autumn festival and all I got was this T-shirt and I'm thrilled
- 9:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I'm so excited about it, and I'm related.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but, and a lot of autumn, I mean, we just are loving trying to embody that, and it was such a fun episode for us to do, not just because we were at the Firefly Inn, but also because it's just a fun topic to talk about.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's taken me back to the year 2000, and so I felt like the autumn festival September 2000, and
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, exactly.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_01]: Can I tell you something actually really sad that I got upset about last night?
- 9:39[SPEAKER_00]: No, what?
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't really know.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I'm just gonna go ahead.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: Let's keep going.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_00]: Go ahead.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_01]: No, so needle pointing the Kelly Bishop canvas, which at this point, I posted the reaction that Kelly had to because I knew that people asked about it.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_01]: She loved it, of course.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: From stitching that canvas and like the whole week before hand, I was so intensely stitching.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_01]: that I gave myself like 10 to 9 to send my thumb.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_01]: And now I can't do any of my hobbies.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_01]: I can't do any of my analog hobbies because I can't water color because like that, like the gripping motion is one of those.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: I can't stitch.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_01]: I can't embroider.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_01]: And like chopping things hurts too.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: So me and my sister have been getting takeout.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, I can't even really be on my phone because I can't scroll with my thumb.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm like scrolling like a boomer.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_01]: And so like,
- 10:24[SPEAKER_01]: There's that element of it, but I'm just like, wait, how am I supposed to have an analog autumn when I have to use my left hand?
- 10:31[SPEAKER_00]: Well, not being able to scroll is part of the analog autumn.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_01]: So actually, as it turns out, I'm just reading now.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_01]: Well, there you go.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: Because I can only, I have my Kindle clicker, and I just click with my left hand.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, so I'm kind of a little, a little sad about my analog autumn because I'm having to go fully on a lot of full analog, can't scroll.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_01]: Can't scroll can't do nothing.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, just sitting.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just sitting.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just sitting sitting for sitting sitting on him sitting on him I think all the way sitting on him.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think that it's it will get honestly gonna get better and it'll be a little bit for the best.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yes
- 11:07[SPEAKER_00]: At this point, there were recording in the episode, though, you're about to come to Back to New York, you're just traveling out.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: And we're gonna have such a great time this weekend because we're doing my Bachelor at party and do now my bridal shower.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: I can't wait to perform for it back to y'all.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: I think I'm gonna do like a little mini vlog.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that'd be fun.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_01]: Just to show everyone what went down.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the craziness.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's like, no, we're calling it gross on my channel.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm like, wait, is anyone drinking?
- 11:30[SPEAKER_00]: Should I bring the fight?
- 11:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: Really, I was like, what do we think?
- 11:34[SPEAKER_00]: Is this like a drinking crowd?
- 11:35[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, mixed bag, but kind of no.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_00]: Like, we're just really literally, we were like, oh, what will we should we watch?
- 11:41[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: Practical magic.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: Right, it's me.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_00]: What's an action we get?
- 11:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_00]: Girls gone mild is going to be so fun, I can't wait.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_00]: We'll have a good time, but.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_00]: But anyway, let's get down to business.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: Two to feet.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_01]: I was like what do we about to defeat we're about to defeat
- 12:00[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_00]: There's nothing too difficult here.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_00]: To feed silence.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: To feed silence because we're just going to keep yapping.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, yeah.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_00]: So top 26 lines of Gilmore girls, most iconic best in no particular order.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: No particular order.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: But I did try initially to go in chronological order and then it kind of goes off the rails.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to start.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: That's crazy.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: You had in the order.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_00]: It was interesting.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_00]: It came to my mind.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to start with what I think is the best one to lead with, and that is, if you're going to throw your life away, he better have a motorcycle.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_01]: It's just it has to be there.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_01]: That one iconic, beautiful delivery, fun writing, encapsulates the relationship in the show perfectly.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_00]: I agree.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that that's kind of those are the rules that we need to set first, not rules, but like it has to touch one of these three categories.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_00]: It either has to be iconic to the series so well delivered, so well written.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_00]: And if it touches all three, then like it's it's a shit.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that that's this line.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_00]: Because you could, if you showed someone Lauren Graham like arm on the wall going to be like, I don't know, I'm a motorcycle and the line, someone who doesn't know the show would probably laugh at that.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, so I feel like another category which doesn't actually have to exist is that like if we showed you the moment of the line, but we didn't tell you what the line was if you could fill the line in it's a it's an iconic line or if you were to show just this line to someone who's never seen go more girls wouldn't make them want to watch the show.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_00]: I think that should also be.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so this is like real number nine.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_01]: Is anyone writing this down?
- 13:33[SPEAKER_00]: Make sure you're keeping track Yeah, but that's my first one that I'd like to throw out there and I think that is a very strong contender for being on this list
- 13:40[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, just write it down.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_01]: Just add it.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_01]: I have it.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a strong contender.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's on the list.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_01]: She's on the list.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yay.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, where do I want to go to next?
- 13:48[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_01]: Do I want to spin sentimental?
- 13:50[SPEAKER_01]: Because some, a lot of my honorable mentions were about books admittedly because I was like, is Tara gonna align with this?
- 13:57[SPEAKER_01]: She gonna feel the same way.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_01]: Because that's kind of where we very similar taste, like the Gilmore to say taste in Gilmore's lines is quite different.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_01]: I would say them like the core taste.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_01]: We're kind of, we're a little bit of the outliers us over here.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_01]: some of the lines that we like people like that, that's the line you just.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm going to go a little bit more center and sentimental.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_01]: And that is, I live in two worlds.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_01]: One is a world of books.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's perfect, very iconic.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's well written.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's delivered quite well.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_01]: And I just think that it really encapsulates two warriors as a character.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I completely agree with you.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_01]: I think that is an incredible line.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_01]: You're welcome.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_00]: next I have hold on I'm looking up aneurysm in our medical dictionary to see if I just had one.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_00]: Perfect.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_00]: Perfect.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_00]: I think that it's a really good one.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think that it definitely like should be on there?
- 14:46[SPEAKER_01]: I have it on my list because it's so like the delivery is perfect.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_01]: The writing is just so divine, especially because it's like in relationship to a cat.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_01]: It's funeral because she missed like a family.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_01]: She missed a distant relatives funeral.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, hold on.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'm looking up aneurysm in our medical dictionary to see if I just had one.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_00]: Also it's something that I think people quote like that quote of Emily Gilmore.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, her sitting is just really and it's like an iconic moment of her just being like dead pan.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_01]: Totally.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_01]: So so good.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, love it.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_00]: What's your next one?
- 15:24[SPEAKER_01]: I'll add another Emily Gilmar quote to be fair.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's like the entire interaction.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_01]: If we could do like iconic interactions, we would be here much longer because it's really hard to pick by me of Boa and send me to Reno because I'm open for business.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_01]: Because the line before that is only prostitutes.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_01]: two glasses of wine at lunch followed up with you go to bed.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'll go to friends.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_01]: Like the whole here's the thing.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_00]: I think only prostitutes have two glasses of wine at lunch is a contender.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_00]: I put both of them down side by side.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_00]: Do we have the point of time?
- 16:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's not.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_00]: Is it an interaction that like, is it a two for one sale?
- 16:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's a two for one sale.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's a, I think it's a, it's a group of lines together to be one because one without the other.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's a, well, a stack.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_01]: One without the other is immaculate them together unmatched.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's fair.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's just the two like having Richard and Emily because I tried to like dull out to various characters, some lines.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_01]: And that came to me for Richard and I was like, you go to bed.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_01]: I'll go to friends.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like that duo.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_01]: We have to.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_01]: We have to have that one for that.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_00]: I agree.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_00]: I will kind of take it back to earlier in this episode and go a little sentimental.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_00]: People can live 100 years without living for a minute.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_00]: You climb up here with me.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_00]: That's one last
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: You have to.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's actually my first one.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_01]: Can I tell you?
- 16:54[SPEAKER_01]: I guess I was on something when I wrote this list because I wrote down the quote, rock.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_01]: What did you write?
- 17:02[SPEAKER_01]: People can climb 100 years without really climbing for a minute.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_01]: You climb up here with me.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_01]: It's one last minute you haven't lived.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_01]: You haven't climbed one last minute.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's one last minute.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_01]: It's one last time you haven't climbed.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_01]: People can climb 100 years without really climbing for a minute.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_01]: You climb a kilo of leaves when you climb you haven't climbed.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_00]: That's so funny.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_00]: C'mon for 100 years.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_00]: Have you really long climbed?
- 17:22[SPEAKER_00]: That is a really long climb.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_00]: I did write that down wrong, which it was my number one.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_01]: That was not in that same episode.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_00]: In the same season.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_00]: Did I say absolutely meant to be with the season five and bring it back to earlier in this episode?
- 17:33[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, if I thought it's differently and wrong.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, that was not.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_01]: That's not in that of this.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: But it's just, I feel like that one is really well delivered.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's a really iconic line and it's some of Dan's best work in terms of like singular lines.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's one of his best.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_01]: Hoping that it came from him.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_01]: Could have not, but it's his episode.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_00]: Keeping in the kind of exchange realm, I do think, so what's the verdict?
- 18:01[SPEAKER_00]: I am an autumn, is just too perfect to pass up.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's so endearing because it's this girl who had not had much of a connection with her grandfather for like what the last 16 years.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_01]: And they're just now like rekindling their relationship and creating connection together.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_01]: And I just think that the fact that he didn't just take the magazine from her and sit next to him, the fact that he took that Cosmo quiz, Shadow to Cosmo, and found out what season he was.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, I think that that's part of what's a good line too, is like the context of it and that of like, so what's the verdict?
- 18:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's also iconic.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I do think though that that exchange so what's the verdict.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_00]: I am an autumn also encapsulates the show really well if I could add another rule.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I sure that's kind of what iconic really sometimes fits into is that like it's so iconic because it encapsulates what the show is and I would like to follow up that one with one that fits that same exact idea and it's
- 19:07[SPEAKER_01]: That one feels like it is the nature of the show.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_01]: It's also the delivery in the moment and who's coming in to say that line.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, Taylor says it.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_01]: But I think that that one really encapsulates what the show is.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's what Lauren Graham and Alexis LaDale sat at the 25th anniversary sort of celebration at the Emmys is that 25 years ago, Gamma Rolls premiered, and it took the season to fall hostage.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_01]: That I feel like it's kind of lines like that.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_01]: make that seam true.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_00]: This is a very fall show.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_00]: And so I add that one.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: It may be in tandem with I'm an autumn.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_00]: I will also add to that in a different way.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's seasonally the show, despite it being a very like fall comfort show has a lot to do with snow.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_00]: And ice
- 20:00[SPEAKER_01]: No, but it's more so like, I like what it encapsulates in terms of Lorela's character and her relationship was snow.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_01]: And so like, maybe the line itself, it's like the delivery.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_01]: I smell snow.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's when you hear that at the beginning of like winter in the revival when she says that, you kind of get a little tear, you're emotional.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, which was another criteria that existed for me is can I get emotional about this contextlessly?
- 20:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_00]: I smell snow doesn't necessarily do it, but I do think if we're going to put breathe in deep folks, smells like fall.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, smells so fast to be there.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_01]: I smell snow has to be there.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_01]: I smell smell.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_01]: I smell smell.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: If you were in the know.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_01]: I once made a bracelet, I was supposed to say I smell snow.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_01]: And I messed it up and it said I smell smell.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_00]: So that belongs to one of our besties out there.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I think that that one fits if only because it's so crucial to
- 20:53[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think then that oil with the poodles already deserves a spot on this list?
- 20:58[SPEAKER_00]: Because it's iconic.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's iconic to the show.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's, I had a really heart.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, there's a couple that I had a really hard time with.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_01]: It was ice-must know.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, but the poodle already covered them.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, copper boom.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think I can put on here.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_00]: I admittedly.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_00]: Copper, no.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_01]: I think that I don't necessarily love the idea of copper boom as a line outside of the show, but within the context of the moment of like, like, like, being like, copper boom, like, what does that mean?
- 21:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, of course.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, here's the thing, is if we were doing the top 26,
- 21:32[SPEAKER_00]: catch freezes of Gilmore girls, that would be on the list 100%.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but it is hard.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_00]: This is a weird line, right?
- 21:39[SPEAKER_00]: Because it's like, it's a weird line about lines.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_00]: You know, because we're talking about like well written lines, well delivered lines, iconic lines.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_00]: And while copper boom is iconic to the series, I don't know that I can put it on this list.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_00]: Is that bad?
- 21:53[SPEAKER_01]: No, I actually have like a hard to discern list and that was on it.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_01]: Cause it's not one of my top lines because I feel like there are much better lines.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's just a little bit, yeah, it's more of a catchphrase from the shell.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_01]: I, I almost know, feels like more of like a catchphrase, but it feels really important to the character.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: Whereas copper boom is kind of just in the side.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_01]: I feel the same way of boy with the poodles already because it's just kind of rambling at that point.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_01]: and that feels more of just kind of like an iconic sort of catchphrase from the show.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't necessarily feel like a great line, unless you disagree.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_00]: I would say that honestly, away with the poodles already, at least comes from a it's derivative of a conversation they have that is actually hilarious.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I guess you could say maybe the same for copper boom all I heard was copper and boom copper boom copper boom and like yeah You know, it just kind of goes off from there, but I just love the exchange of like you know It's a very funny word.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it's the funniest word in the entire world funny funny word You know else the funny word poodle poodle we should put him in the same sentence together like oh, he with the poodles already
- 23:00[SPEAKER_01]: So now that she uses it.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, and then she goes so now whenever anybody asks, we'll use our favorite new catchphrase.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you're with the Poodles already.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_00]: I'm telling you, it's not going to what you talk about well, it's right out of first place.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_00]: So I just feel like that inherently is hilarious and really, really smart writing.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_00]: Not the copper boom isn't, of course, some other and daughter-in-law from a relationship.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_00]: And a misunderstanding like that, and inside joke, like that, great.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_00]: But I think that I would put away with the Poodles already there instead.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_00]: let's add it.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_00]: Moving into something that I think is just a very well written line, it's funny, the delivery actually always cracks me up and it is one that I think is a deep cut is in speaking of ice melts now.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_00]: It is in love and warms now.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_00]: Some of those lines are some of the best lines in all of season 1 and arguably a lot of the lines that I put as contenders to be on this list.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_00]: Rory, are you in any way malnourished or need of some international relief organization to recruit a celebrity to raise money on your account?
- 23:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm good.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_00]: Like, that is funny.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_00]: That is funny.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_00]: Also within that same episode, we get the exchange between Laura Lyon and Emily over the phone where Emily tells her that there is about to be a storm and she says, don't panic, I'll get the arc, you get the animals.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: And then she asks her asks if she's coming to dinner and she says, well, let's see, black eyes, treacherous roads.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_00]: I guess I'll just put on my red white and blue leotard, grab my golden lasso and fly the invisible plane on over.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's so good.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, when you put it in the top lines, overall.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_00]: I would put it in like the most well written and like, quippy, smart, witty lines.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think I need to hold off to see what the rest of the list looks like, because then me shell also says something hilarious here.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_00]: He says the thrilling sensation of getting lost in a blizzard of freezing to death in the woods and having to eat your friends, buttocks to stay alive.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_00]: That's that is lost on many people.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_00]: Like hey, that's the reshale line you went with, well, it's just one of them.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_00]: I just love that like this episode in particular is so Amy because it's so the writing is so strong.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's so funny.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_00]: Like if you had, it's very wordy too.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's very wordy and I do think that that's what makes the show stand out for mother shows.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_00]: Is it the words for sure?
- 25:18[SPEAKER_00]: So the words and the amount of them.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_00]: But Laura Lye on the phone with her mother saying, let's see black ice treasures, Rozika, so I'll just put on my bread white and blue leotard.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_00]: Grab my golden glass, I won't fly the invisible plane on over.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_00]: So you're not coming.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_00]: She's like,
- 25:30[SPEAKER_00]: No, I don't think I'm going to sit this one out like yeah, it's just very funny.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_00]: So I had those three or four lines from Love and War and Snow that I just couldn't pass up at least offering as contenders.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_01]: I think they're good contenders because I went a little bit more iconic with Michelle even though nothing throws me like him explaining eating his friend's
- 25:57[SPEAKER_00]: But what's the rest of the line?
- 25:58[SPEAKER_00]: People are particularly, I can't talk anymore of them.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_00]: I think that that is a really good line.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_01]: That's so him.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's so like the humor of the show.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_01]: It encapsulates him quite well.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's a often quoted one.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_01]: It was, we put up a question box asking y'all for best lines.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_01]: And I loved that the actual first answer was like, okay, what's the criteria here?
- 26:20[SPEAKER_01]: I know exactly what is the criteria.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_01]: We asked you with no criteria, because then I could make it up.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but that one was listed a lot.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_00]: Speaking of characters that are just iconic and have, like, that are so quoteable.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_00]: I think Michelle is one.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_00]: Emily is another of a Paris Geller is at the top of that list.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_00]: And for me, I could not pass up.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_00]: Is it raining?
- 26:41[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's national baptism day.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_00]: Tiger tubes idiot.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_00]: Classic.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_00]: It's national baptism day.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's national baptism day, tired tubes, idiot.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, that's such an iconic line in such a random episode.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's spring break, that I feel like that's not like mid to late season four, kind of like mid-series, just bringing it with the...
- 27:04[SPEAKER_01]: simply iconic delivery of what's a wild too.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_01]: I agree wild wild wild wild.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_00]: The next one that I have is I was going to wait until you called me But my life is in as long as yours.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to tell you season there was there was recently one of those like this Gilmore gross
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: Quote is your zoo is like match to your zodiac sign.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and that was the Sagittarius one Really, I don't remember where it was, but that was mine and yours as well.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_01]: I like having it What's off thinking about it recently?
- 27:34[SPEAKER_01]: It's just so good going to a different character another side character Which is suky and I think that you would have absolutely expected if you could have picked like maybe one Nine that you knew that I would have included.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's this one and it's what's the opposite of on me?
- 27:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's awfully.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'm cured.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_00]: I was torn about Tsuki because there were a couple of different ones that I Wanted to go with and not that we have to have one from each no or absolutely just more over that like you know We're trying to be very we're trying to be very intentional about the way we build this list Equitable to the characters absolutely.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I have I'm so mad and sad.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_00]: I'm mad.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_00]: I have I'm a horror I'm way
- 28:19[SPEAKER_00]: He buys my wares.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_00]: I miss a foyer.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_00]: He buys my wares.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a sexual harasser.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_00]: And I also had your scaring Pedro.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_01]: Ah, wait.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_01]: That's one of those lines.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_01]: Like if we were to build like a Gilmore to say, best lines, it would be different than what we like should assign for the top 26 lines of the show.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_01]: But like your scaring Pedro would be on it.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a carpenter like Jesus, like those those would be on there.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_01]: The lap is an allusion like excellent lines like those but just don't necessarily feel like they fit fully, but you're scaring Pedro like the delivery
- 29:02[SPEAKER_01]: I, I don't know that we've had a laugh, so.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_00]: If they did that episode so much worse, he's in danger.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_00]: When I think of, but I'm a Gilmore, I think of the, but I'm a Gilmore part, right?
- 29:11[SPEAKER_00]: I think of Waryan Logan in the world.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_00]: I don't anymore.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't because all I think of is, you're scary.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_01]: You're scary, Pedro.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_01]: Poor Pedro.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_00]: Just trying to do his job.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm torn on what to include for Suki because I love off-wee I'm cured.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_00]: I would maybe include off-wee and smad if we're putting some contenders in.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a horror.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a horror.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a sexual horror.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm
- 29:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a sexual harasser.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_00]: Well, no, it's like, it's the build-up to it, because I don't think that that's the whole line.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
- 29:52[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_01]: He buys my wares.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_00]: It's like the slow realization.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's just he buys my wares is my fair part of that interaction.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_00]: Let me see what the full line is.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_00]: No, she says, I buy his wares.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_00]: I buy my god here.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_00]: Technically, I'm his employer.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_00]: I am.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_00]: I buy his wares.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_00]: His livelihood depends on me.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a sexual harassment person.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_01]: When I said it, when I said, I said, I buy his wares.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_01]: Or he buys my wares.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, she isn't selling anything.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I was like, why is this not making sense?
- 30:23[SPEAKER_01]: No, I buy his employer.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_00]: I buy his wares.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_00]: His livelihood depends on me.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a sexual harasser.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's so good.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_00]: Is it better than off we, I'm cured?
- 30:33[SPEAKER_00]: this show so funny.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's just sukey and Melissa McCarthy.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_00]: I know, or is it better than I'm so mad and sad, I'm mad.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'm putting I'm mad here as a placeholder just so we don't forget.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to put it online.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_00]: I would rank off.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_00]: We over-smad personally.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's a cleverness to that that,
- 30:52[SPEAKER_01]: I think that sometimes the show can be quite witty and a way that feels unexpected, but I feel like this one, it just feels like such simple sort of like direct humor that it's a little surprising that they would go in the direction, but I love it.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_00]: Here's my only thing, is that off we, I'm cured, has to be included, it has to be a pairing.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_00]: What's the opposite of on we, off we, I'm cured.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_00]: She says she doesn't she?
- 31:21[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_01]: Who says, what's the opposite of on we?
- 31:24[SPEAKER_01]: I thought that Laura lies at it.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_01]: Now I can't remember.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_00]: Laura, I ask Suki, what is the opposite of on we?
- 31:30[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_01]: All right, let's keep it there for now.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_01]: What do you have next?
- 31:33[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, when Laura lied, this one's like sentimental, but like very indicative of Laura lies a character.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_01]: When she said, it's all any of us wants to find a nice person to hang out with till we drop dead.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I thought that one was sweet.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_00]: Ah, definitely not something that I thought of off the top of my head.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_00]: Where, what is, which one is that from?
- 31:53[SPEAKER_01]: And if you're to remember, she says it to Luke when where he goes on her date.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, all right, a contender for me.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know that that's top 26 for me.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_00]: It's also the chises it to Luke.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, speaking of romance and speaking of things she says to Luke.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_00]: No, but I do believe he and my father have come to an agreement on how many goats I'm worth.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's also very iconic.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like it stops the the back and forth they're having rhythmically, which I think is an in a very funny way.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_00]: It is a little bit of a column response, but it has, yeah, it kind of has to be within the, um,
- 32:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's not necessarily the context isn't needed but I feel like to have it in that interaction is what makes it so good.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_01]: But something that's actually romantic and you know I love this line and if it's not included, it won't hurt my feelings but I do want to say it.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_01]: And it's when Jasa's story and it's only has a lot of things to say about you.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_00]: I had that at first as well.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I thought it was really cute.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know that I'm putting it in the top 26, but that also remained to be seen because I didn't know what this list was going to look like.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's hard because there's actually, this is all subjective and there's actually as many rules as we want to make up, there's not really any.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, I would put this in my top 26, like personally, like how this, like it's just so cute.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_01]: I was also trying to dull out some sweet lines through the love interest because Logan, he's got a kind of an iconic line.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_01]: With Jess, a lot of people said, why did you drop out of you?
- 33:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_01]: And can I tell you?
- 33:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a very inventive line.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_01]: That one.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's the delivery.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_01]: But it's the delivery.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's the delivery.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_01]: And so I was like, wait, I want to have something for Jess that feels...
- 33:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I get that cute because like in cones.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_01]: That's not really a line.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_00]: Is it?
- 33:42[SPEAKER_00]: This is delivery.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_00]: Um, do you know who is kind of icon?
- 33:46[SPEAKER_01]: Do you?
- 33:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, who, like, what is it?
- 33:50[SPEAKER_01]: 20 something, point something miles?
- 33:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's not, it doesn't feel like it fits, but it's like, oh, maybe, maybe we'll let it be in an honorable mention.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_01]: and we'll like do a little just intro in November with some of his most iconic lines.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_00]: What about more of the lines he says from a Tiska to task it?
- 34:09[SPEAKER_00]: Basket, basket maker, guy you did have a lot of money.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's no any Bruce impression, but...
- 34:16[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's the two of them because I actually really like Dean's line and there it kind of is like a little out of character for him But when he says when race is don't walk away like that and he said well, I do a silly walk But I'm not feeling very John Cleese right now is also very funny
- 34:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean that's hard because like there's some of this it has to include some sort of references Like we can't have no line with no references in them because of what the show is and on a funny or level I think that in season four someone suggested this in our question box in season four when Luke and Jess are talking about TJ outside when they first meet him He's like looks as he's a grown man with a nice sketch.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_00]: Well shake him real hard.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe he'll disappear.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_00]: I
- 35:00[SPEAKER_01]: The Et just sketch storyline, not coming to like, you know, like a more prominent arc in the show is actually like one of the worst parts about the show.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like we needed more Et just sketch.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I love that line so much.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_01]: I love TJ.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_01]: Are we like in the minority about TJ?
- 35:20[SPEAKER_01]: I always feel like we are people always find him quite annoying, but I'm like,
- 35:23[SPEAKER_00]: Give me an oying, but that doesn't mean he's not funny.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_00]: He's incredible.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_01]: We're also in Indiana, we are so in dear to him.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_01]: A grown man with an etchiskech.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_01]: Now I don't even know what direction to go in anymore.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_00]: When we have 13 so far, so we're halfway there.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, and nowhere near it.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_00]: What's that line here at?
- 35:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's true.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to make out in the courtroom.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_01]: Don't eat my chicken.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_00]: That's good one.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to have pancakes with a side of pancakes.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_00]: My girlfriend's the whore.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_00]: I think girlfriend's the whore.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_00]: We did.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_00]: And there were two tony lines that I had as contenders for this.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_00]: And that is, of course, you're going to wake up a morning walk out and pal, color coming out of your yin yang, which I just think is such an iconic line.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_01]: We have to include that.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_00]: I think that was like our number one because it's just so fucking good.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, you know the other one I want to include because I won springed my pecs lifting a bird bath and they were of no good to me ever again.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's just too good.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_01]: That's such an underrated line.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_01]: That's such an underrated line.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_01]: And is it a top 26 line?
- 36:31[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, maybe.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_01]: Is it being underrated, make it a top 26?
- 36:36[SPEAKER_00]: Or is it because we are in charge of this list.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_00]: And we can put whatever we want.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's just, it's an underrated line.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_00]: The deliveries incredible.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_00]: If you played that for me and I never seen the show before I would have laughed my ass off and been like, what is this?
- 36:47[SPEAKER_00]: I need to watch this.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_00]: Hi, Max.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_00]: Dean, how are your pegs?
- 36:53[SPEAKER_01]: They were no good to me ever again.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_01]: So he's out here walking around this man with just useless packs
- 37:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think we have some food today.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_00]: I think we have some so funny.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_01]: If a man is going to be that honest about his pectoral muscles, it deserves the top 26.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_01]: I totally agree with you.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_00]: Points for honesty.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_01]: But it's not honest.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, I don't think included in our townies lines because I'm gill, just like took the cake, was you're at the bottom of my bogus bag and it's so much fun.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_01]: That's such a good, that's like such a good channelling of like that time period.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like I just feel like Gil is for all of the ways that they make fun of his age when he first comes on the scene.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm Gil and like they can't believe how old he is.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like they do such a good job of like capturing him in that early 2000s time period because you're at the bottom of my bogus bag and it's a blood shot.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_01]: Sounds like it could be from him, but also from like a teen drama of like mean middle school girls.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, yes, it's so good.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_01]: One that we will not include, but someone included in the question box that's just
- 38:09[SPEAKER_01]: beautiful.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_01]: And that is you who he hung up.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_01]: There's so many that I wrote down and like my honorable mentions because I'm like, okay, I think this is great.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_01]: Like just you would jiggle.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_01]: Just you would jiggle.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_00]: You guys had some of the funny, I was laughing so hard reading the ones.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 38:28[SPEAKER_00]: You're at the bottom of my bogus bag and it's a block shot did come from our question box, and I was like, I forgot about this line.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's so good.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_01]: I just remember when it came up, we were like, I got such a like a visceral memory to that.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, back to the lower line lines for a second.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_00]: She does have some iconic ones.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_00]: I heard he controls the weather and wrote the screen play to Glitter.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_00]: Has to be asked to be on there.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's just what?
- 38:50[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I even remember cackling at that when I was like 12 years old.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, that's like one of those ones it sticks out to you.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_01]: Also a reference.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_00]: Glitter.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_00]: Glitter.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_00]: Come on now.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_00]: But something that I also think is truly iconic to the character of Laura Lye and has become like a meme in just the zeitgeist of society is as long as everything is exactly the way I want it.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the one that I had was I'm just being dramatic.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's what I do.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_01]: Also a good one I'm talking to those two.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_00]: They feel very they feel very similar.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they could kind of be interchangeable They could um for sure.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_01]: How do you feel about Rory in that same graduation speech of I don't know if she ever realized the person I most wanted to be was her Oh my god, I'm a cry even just saying it's a very emotional line I think that I live in two worlds one is a world of books is
- 39:43[SPEAKER_00]: a little more iconic.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I love the vibe.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_00]: I love the vibe.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_00]: And that's something that's like, we can have more than one from that.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_01]: But I think that if we're like encapsulating lore lies, sometimes I'm like, I think that she's more of the motorcycle line and Rory is more of the, I don't know if she ever realized the person I'm just wanting to be with her.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_00]: Like, oh, just, that just gets me.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_00]: That was really, it has me.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_00]: One that also gets me is for tonight and tonight only, my name is Bill, and this is SourceHong.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_01]: And this is our song, I think it has to be.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_00]: It has to be, yeah, that has to be.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_01]: Because I feel like they're the other quote that we have from them is quite tense, that we need a little sentimental.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_00]: We need a little sentimental here, yeah, exactly.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_01]: And we could just say, hello.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_01]: That was lower lies line.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_01]: That's on a line.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's just hello.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_00]: On that topic, an iconic line from Emily Gilmore is, when a woman gives birth to a crack baby, you do not buy her a puppy.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_00]: You don't buy her a puppy.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_01]: What does that mean?
- 40:42[SPEAKER_00]: Does that mean?
- 40:44[SPEAKER_01]: Really, that would be so good.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, if we're doing anything, it should be there.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_01]: Well, how do you feel about that one versus at least she had a husband?
- 40:50[SPEAKER_00]: At least she had a husband to kill.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_00]: is also so.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_01]: That's actually one of my favorite Emily lines because it's so if we're talking about like encapsulating a character, when a woman gives birth to a crack baby, like that really does identify Emily, but at least she had a husband to kill.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think that one is to me.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_01]: She is.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_01]: It's a cake for me.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_01]: Big cake.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_01]: Big cake is wrong.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to be right.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_00]: Should that be on there?
- 41:14[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe I didn't write it down, but I didn't either.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_01]: It came to my I like pie, but I want to date pie.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, was it?
- 41:22[SPEAKER_01]: I enjoy pie.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_00]: I'm attracted to pie.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm attracted to pie.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_00]: Pie.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_01]: How do you feel about something like coffee coffee coffee?
- 41:28[SPEAKER_00]: You know, that's like coffee coffee.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_00]: That's like
- 41:31[SPEAKER_00]: copper boom for me.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_00]: Is it?
- 41:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_00]: I think so.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_00]: It's more catchphrase.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_00]: So it's always what the poodles already.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_00]: But well, that's she's trying to make a catchphrase.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_00]: That's true.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_01]: That's like the difference is she's there's an intention there.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_01]: I think the coffee coffee coffee out of the context.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_01]: really does identify get more girls, but like it's just really the scene itself.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_01]: You said coffee coffee, that's three coffees.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's my bit.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_00]: I do think why did you drop out of y'all on the topic of catchphrases should be there?
- 42:01[SPEAKER_00]: I just think it's iconic to the series.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_00]: I think the delivery is incredible.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_00]: I think it also speaks as a character growth and the relationship shifting between worry and just.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_01]: It's not in my uncertain ones, which are some of my honorable mentions because I'm like writing wise.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's just some words, you know?
- 42:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's just a word together.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_01]: But my feelings really did something with it.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's a cause.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's something with a lot of things, didn't he?
- 42:26[SPEAKER_00]: Someone who we haven't really talked about is Lane, and one of my favorite lines that Lane says, because she's not necessarily always given the funniest lines.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_00]: No, she's like more like, or Emily and Paris, but I love when Marie comes in and says, I got kissed, and I shoplifted, and they're having this back and forth, and she's like, I gotta go, I gotta go tell my mom, I can't, you can't, what?
- 42:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's singer-favorite, him and I at the Kim House, make a run for it.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_01]: That one, like, I just think that and boys don't like funny girls is a good, it's good.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to not include her.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know that's like top 26.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_01]: I know I didn't have a lane line admittedly, just wanted to at least throw it out there.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_00]: I thought it deserved an honorable mention.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_01]: It definitely deserves an honorable mention, and now I feel like I should have, I just said Justice for Lane and like,
- 43:22[SPEAKER_01]: I, yeah, no, no other lane lines are like sticking out to me, so I feel really bad now because I do want to include a lane line, but now that I'm thinking about it, I was so focused on Loreline Rory because we didn't include them, of course, in any of the town he lines, but now I don't have any Dave Ragowski lines, I know.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm just like, oh, I mean, and I'm really, really want to take your daughter to the prom.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_01]: I know I've really so good.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_01]: That whole exchange, I feel like, okay, I know this is crazy.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think that maybe we would do a monologue section of like best monologues.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like a few weeks ago you don't really do the question me.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_01]: I have a question her too.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_01]: Now I know you don't like dating.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_01]: Like, like, I know you have very strict rules about dating and boys.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's just such a good monologue.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_01]: Like,
- 44:06[SPEAKER_01]: give Adam Brody his flowers for that.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_01]: I think that most of our monologues would go towards one miss more like go more.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_01]: But I was really trying to focus on them in this one because we didn't include them at all in town use.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_01]: But I really want to take your daughter to the prom.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_00]: I know, but I do think I would fall for her.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_00]: I want to take your daughter to the prom.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_00]: And I really
- 44:25[SPEAKER_01]: Really want to take your daughter like that's such a the delivery.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_01]: I know it's also sweet I feel like a lot not all of these are particularly sweet.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_00]: We're not talking business show is really funny I know I would well listen and like and it's so witty and I think because it's known for its writing I'm trying to have like a solid blend of iconic lines to the show But also super well written lines first just like yeah, that is what makes this show iconic Yeah, I think I was leading for like a little earnestness as well.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I understand that
- 44:55[SPEAKER_01]: but like that would go in monologues for sure.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_01]: And for sure, I wrote that down for me.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we should do a monologues episode.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_00]: One that we haven't talked about that I think is like an absolute contender for this.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_00]: I don't feel cowabung a dude inside.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_00]: No!
- 45:11[SPEAKER_01]: I cannot tell you like, okay, so that that real and TikTok we posted are like that was from Gilmore He visited we posted that that was one of the worst lines and people still to this day We'll comment and try to explain to you and me that Laura like had just said that line and so it was like out of context We were like misunderstanding the line and I said oh no no no no no no no no no
- 45:36[SPEAKER_01]: this is from a recap of this episode where we fully just watched this and we fully are talking about this in the context of this of this scene and it's horrible it's so bad this writing is actually terrible and I won't I won't sit aside and have you tell me that I didn't understand this scene when I watched it
- 45:56[SPEAKER_01]: I watch in full and I still came to the same conclusion that is like I'm not with this show There's not very many hills that I feel the need to die on like you know like we'll have different tastes We'll disagree.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_01]: I'm very fine to to have my own opinions and you have your own opinions with that line at the hill all down
- 46:17[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we'll have a hill I'll die on episode because that is one.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_01]: I planted my flag.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_01]: I've made my bed and I shall lie in it and die in it.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_01]: I can't let that go.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that's spooky season.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_01]: Like this is where I will die.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_01]: I will die on the hill of that as a terrible one.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_01]: Do you get a deal of smart chose?
- 46:34[SPEAKER_01]: The hills we've been playing.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like that is a hill.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_01]: I will perish upon.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_01]: I would like to perish upon this hill.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like I would like to submit it in writing that that is one of them.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm sorry.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like I'm so open, like early in my early days on TikTok, I felt the need to be very right about my opinions, but I understand that as we've grown this community more and more, I just like that we all exist in love this show.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_01]: But that one.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_01]: No, I had to throw it in there.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm, yeah, I had to throw it in there.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_00]: And so you have lost all privileges.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_00]: Me?
- 47:11[SPEAKER_01]: You threw that line in.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_00]: No, that's just my episode.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_00]: I, I, I, I just, but I will die on that hill.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_00]: I know you will.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll do an episode of Hillsbury, but die on.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_00]: Very soon, come here.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_00]: There are a couple of lines here that I haven't thrown out there yet.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_00]: Not sure if their hills I would die on, but like at least ones that I felt were worth mentioning.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_00]: We have seven slots left given, okay.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_00]: Like we have 19 right now.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_00]: So we've seven seven openings left.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_00]: I have, this is not a drive through.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_00]: She's not fried chicken.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_00]: We eat that one so good.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_00]: It's so good.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_01]: Why is that?
- 47:45[SPEAKER_01]: Why do I love, because that's, of course, when Dean is coming to pick up Roy for prom or not prom the dance, the dance itself.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_01]: For the dance I'm seeing.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_01]: And Emily does not want to be honked at or doesn't want her granddaughter to be honked at rather.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_01]: And you know what?
- 47:59[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_00]: I get it too.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_00]: She's not.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's the chicken.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_00]: She's not fried chicken.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know what?
- 48:04[SPEAKER_00]: She's not.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_00]: This is from like mother like daughter Rory comes out into the hallway and parents is standing there and she goes, go.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_00]: You're like a pop-up book from hell.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_01]: I love that line.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_00]: No pop-ups.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_00]: That's so.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_00]: And that really can't go.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_00]: Pop-up relationship too.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_01]: How do you feel about the opening line of the series?
- 48:23[SPEAKER_00]: I love that line.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_00]: I do think out of context without the exchange, I don't think it hits as hard as some of the other lines.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, personal.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_01]: Another lower line, which I think is a stack as we call it, it has to be paired.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_01]: Focus.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_00]: I am a camera.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_00]: I have the right here.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's so good.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's so, that's actually,
- 48:44[SPEAKER_01]: truly one of my favorite lines from the show.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_01]: Like some of these I'm trying to like give the populace the people, make this more a little down the middle, then it would be go more to say to the left and even further further to the left out and left field.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_01]: How's it feel out and lefty field really encapsulates me in terms of my line taste, but that one has really, really great things in the camera.
- 49:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's really good.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_00]: We can put that on there.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_01]: Great yay, because if we meet separate lines or separate lists for our lines, they would be very different.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for sure.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_01]: But in this list, I'm like, that's a hillout line.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_00]: I know, I'm trying to be very objective here.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's hard.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_01]: I've never been able to talk about anything in my life.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_00]: The next one that I have is Pekotim.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_00]: It needs you.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_00]: Which team?
- 49:30[SPEAKER_00]: Pick a team, it needs you.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_00]: I used to quote that all of the time.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_00]: Also within I mean the dance marathon episode is so so good.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_01]: I think it has to be like one of the criteria at this point I think we're at like criteria number 237.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's quotable.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_00]: I know pick a team.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_00]: It needs you.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_00]: But the other one is my child bearing arrangements are between me and Suki and the Lord.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_00]: That's a stack, because I don't know what we'll say that, and the Lord.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_01]: And the Lord.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 50:03[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, go ahead, drop another sucker in this mess.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's so, so good.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_00]: That's okay.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_00]: I also like Jackson going, that is if it's okay with the Lord, or Luke, or that strange man in the corner who I've never met.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_00]: Excuse me, strange man in the corner.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_00]: Is it okay if I put this contest?
- 50:20[SPEAKER_01]: I love that he dressed in by his government name.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_00]: Let's use me straight into the corner.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_00]: Also a really good one.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_01]: There's just probably so many Jackson lines that we're forgetting.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, oh, I'm sure.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_00]: Jackson has some really really good ones.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_00]: But the next one that I have is, well, here's hoping your cat exposes itself to you soon.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_00]: from your mouth to God, from your lips to God's ears.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_01]: That one's see that one's so funny because like my next one wasn't funny at all.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_01]: This is these are like from my honorable mention.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think I still, I was early on in this episode.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_01]: I was crossing in the office.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_01]: We said them and then I stopped doing that for some reasons.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_01]: So now I don't really know where we're at.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_01]: But think of how dull your life would be without me from just to worry.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like some of these I was like, wait, that's so cute.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_00]: Um, excuse me, did I just see you smell that book that's a good one.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_00]: Excuse me, did I just see you smell that book?
- 51:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, that's actually a good one.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, great.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not gonna tell that I need to die on.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but I would but I would did you say I'm an added to the bottom of the list?
- 51:22[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, just in general, I'm just going to add to the list.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I am adding it to the bottom, but not, they're not in any particular role.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_01]: I thought you were like, this one's going to the bottom, to the bottom.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_01]: What about, I can't stop drinking the coffee, if I stop during the, if I stop, I think it's, that's a lot.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_01]: I stopped doing the standing walking and we're putting into sentence doing.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that begs the question.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_00]: If we're going to have a line about coffee, is it that?
- 51:44[SPEAKER_00]: Is it?
- 51:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think when you talk in an IV, it's a jumbo coffee sort of, it's a jumbo coffee sort of more, this is not a regular coffee morning.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_00]: This is a jumbo coffee morning.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_00]: I need coffee in an IV.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, do a little smack.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_01]: You have to have this smack sink.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_01]: She does it.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_01]: Is it that one or is it?
- 52:02[SPEAKER_00]: I can't stop drinking the coffee.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_00]: I stopped drinking the coffee.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_00]: And I stopped doing the standing, the walking words, putting in dissentance, doing it.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's that one.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, just because from a writing perspective, I do think that that's funnier.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I think so too.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's paired.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I need coffee and ivy is iconic.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's hilarious.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think?
- 52:20[SPEAKER_01]: I think that I need coffee and an ivy.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_01]: Fits more into the Gilmourkel's cat phrases.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think that I can't stop drinking the coffee.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_01]: Feels more of like a really good coffee line.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_01]: Does that make sense?
- 52:32[SPEAKER_01]: Mm, totally.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_01]: I would do it.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_01]: I can't stop drinking the coffee.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_01]: I also just really like words putting into sentence doing.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_00]: If I think the line is, if I stop drinking the coffee, I stop doing.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_01]: I can't stop drinking the coffee.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_01]: I stop drinking the coffee and I stop doing the standing, walking, and words putting into sentence doing.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_00]: So here's what we have.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_00]: I've all of the lines that I threw out there for 11 words now.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_00]: I have this is not a drive through.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_00]: She's not fried chicken.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's all any of us want to find a nice person to hang out with until we drop dead.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_00]: No, but I do believe he and my father have come to an agreement on how many goats I'm worth.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_00]: You're like a pop-up book from hell.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_00]: As long as everything is exactly the way I want it, I'm totally flexible.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_00]: Pick a team it needs you.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_00]: Well, here's hoping your cat exposes itself to you.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_00]: Well, shake him really hard, maybe he'll disappear.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_00]: When a woman gives birth to a crack, maybe you do not buy her a puppy, earnest only has a lovely things to say about you.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_00]: You're at the bottom of my bogus bag and it's a blocked shut.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to make out in the coat room, don't eat my chicken.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's sing your favorite.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_00]: Him and I at the Kim House, make a run for it.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_00]: And if eating cake is wrong, I don't want to be right.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm attracted to pie, it doesn't mean I feel the need to date pie.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_00]: Excuse me, did I just see you smell that book?
- 53:47[SPEAKER_00]: We only have five slots available.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_00]: So we have some room to work with these.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_01]: We have some room that list that you just listed was positively insane.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_01]: Like the whiplash of that, if we just like posted just that list and be like, what are we doing here?
- 54:05[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's kind of like Taylor Swift did the Emmys the other night, but she just like showed up I started saying a bunch of work like not everything as an Easter egg and then started saying a bunch of words and everyone was like Sackeride, Aries from the vineyard worth worth worth worth South and you were just like, okay, so let me talk into my shift with the zodiac
- 54:26[SPEAKER_00]: Was there anything that like, like, jumped out at you that you were like, it has to be this?
- 54:30[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, excuse me, did I see smell that book and pop up book from hell?
- 54:34[SPEAKER_01]: You're like, a pop up book from hell.
- 54:36[SPEAKER_01]: So, pun intended, did pop out at me.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_01]: The problem is, is like, some of them are making me laugh, some of them I feel very sentimental about.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_00]: I like, but I'm attracted to pie.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't mean me and I feel the need to date pie.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_00]: But I also think cake.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_00]: I'm torn between that and if eating cake is wrong, I don't want to be right.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_00]: I think I'm attracted to pie.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't mean I feel the need to date pie is a stronger line in the stronger line.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because we've someone who's wrong and if we're doing this is wrong, I don't want to be right is something we could find in the other TV show.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_00]: This is funny.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's fun.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, but I'm attracted to pie.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't mean I feel the need to date pie is.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, actually we're going with a bakery item line.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you brought me used a dessert.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_01]: It was in the, in the, in the dessert realm.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_01]: It falls over again.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_01]: Also, it's very good.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't fit, but good.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_00]: There are two more slots left.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_00]: One thing that we didn't talk about that I do think is more of a catchphrase is Luke saying to Laura lie, I'm in, I am all in.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's a, it's a good line.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's a good line, but it's really, tell you, that line is really hard for me because of Laura's reaction.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's also because of his follow-up.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_00]: Are you scared?
- 55:49[SPEAKER_00]: Scared.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_01]: That's actually mine.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_01]: I am now!
- 55:54[SPEAKER_01]: Out of the, can I tell you that's maybe one of the only lines that when you remove it from the context and the lines around it, it sounds better.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_01]: But when you put it in the context of that moment with, are you scared?
- 56:07[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I wasn't until you said that, and the fact that Laura Lace is nothing in response, and I know that it's meant to be implied maybe, but like, I don't know.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_01]: There's just something about that.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_01]: I do think that that fits more into the catchphrase.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_01]: I think that of the Luke lines there, I do like the, you'll meet an annoying woman today, give her coffee and she'll go away.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think I like that one better as a line, and she said, man, I'll do anything for a cup of coffee.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_00]: I think the reason that it came to mind is because we don't have any Luke lines on here.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_00]: And he actually don't.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_00]: And he's actually quite hilarious.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_01]: Employee of the year, employee of the century, employee of what is the universe, the universe.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, there has to be a Luke line.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_01]: I don't feel like that's my favorite Luke line, though.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like that one's called out in the same way that like Copper Boom is, et cetera, because it feels very, I don't know, it feels like it should be romantic.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that one of the reasons it's kind of lost it's luster for me is because ultimately Luke didn't feel like he was all in.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't feel like I have relationships like that with the other lines where it's like, oh, this ended up not being true.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, yeah, that's true.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that that's the damper that that puts on me.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, but there has to be a Luke line.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_01]: I think I wonder if it's something, yeah, and play of the year and play of this entry.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_01]: I just spent $100,000 in all your fault.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, someone also included that as well.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_00]: But what is it?
- 57:37[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know anything about kids.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_00]: If it was always got jam on their hand.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_00]: Jam hands or Taylorville cardigans.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_01]: What does he say about his hat?
- 57:46[SPEAKER_01]: He can't even see his own hat Laura likes us something along the lines and like try to turn around.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's Luke just Luke Mr. Luke in fact
- 57:57[SPEAKER_00]: Don't address me at all, you think I brought my porn in here to buy and true, when you're at her place, there's Laurel, when you're here, there's me and when you're out there, there's Taylor.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_00]: Oh god, what does he say to him?
- 58:14[SPEAKER_00]: He says like Jess is like Romeo and Juliet had worrying families and they didn't have this much supervision.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_01]: He says something like, oh yeah, well until you find me in a pair of tights when you find me in a pair of tights.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, airpants until then do your homework
- 58:28[SPEAKER_00]: Oh god, what does he say to him?
- 58:30[SPEAKER_00]: He says some really great.
- 58:32[SPEAKER_00]: Then we can hold hands and skip afterwards.
- 58:35[SPEAKER_00]: That's just, but then he says something to him like that.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_01]: Also, you can't kill the bad boy.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_01]: Why not?
- 58:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's double coupon day.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_01]: You'll bring down the town.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_00]: It's double coupon day.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_00]: You'll bring down the town.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_00]: Wait, that's actually really good.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_00]: Also, F-I-N-E. Oh, it's so good.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_01]: Or, this feels like, there's like, now we're just saying, the blinds are not wearing my socks.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not wearing my socks.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_00]: I love when Kirk says, I have a girlfriend and Lucas double dip in you, don't you?
- 59:06[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_01]: He just has so many good things.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_01]: He would kick Tiny Tim's crutch out from under him, letting you, if he asks for a free cup of coffee, he can be going down.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_00]: Oh man, he just has some really good lines.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_01]: Or when he gets up in front of the town, not yours, not yours, yours, not yours.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_00]: They got stood up, they should have been wearing prom dresses.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_00]: Taylor no and every day from now on till the end of my life.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna come in here and say Taylor no and when I die I'm gonna have them freeze me next to Ted Williams So when they find the cure to what I died of and they unfreeze me my first words are gonna be house-ted followed by Taylor no Or just like a classic Luke damn it Taylor.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's so good fresh coffee.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'll be running in a minute Unless you just want to roll up a dollar bill and go nuts
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like, is that the coffee line we have to include?
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 1:00:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's actually really all of these are so good.
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_01]: We, what was it?
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's double coupon day.
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_01]: You'll take it on the town.
- 1:00:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_01]: You'll bring down the town.
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we'll kill you and joy.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_01]: Or we could go sentimental like don't turn into your mother or I forget the exact wording of it.
- 1:00:27[SPEAKER_01]: If you keep eating like that, you'll turn into your mother.
- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think about the Roman Oves?
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_00]: They probably had it coming.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_01]: How's he say to her?
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_00]: Luke just has really good responses.
- 1:00:41[SPEAKER_00]: Kirk says if I were Tom Cruise, where would you sit me in an acting class?
- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that's what it is.
- 1:00:47[SPEAKER_01]: It's like maybe Luke is like more really good in conversation.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_00]: How the girls with spoon for butch dains, for butch dains, took the field.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_00]: Butch dains to the field.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_00]: I really think.
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_00]: Dang.
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's when you put down that cup of coffee, you do not want to grow up to be like your mom.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_00]: Too late, too late.
- 1:01:09[SPEAKER_00]: But the exchange is what makes it.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_00]: It's too late.
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_00]: That's like so cute.
- 1:01:14[SPEAKER_00]: I love that.
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_00]: It's a stack as we call that as we did the Richard and Emily.
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_01]: No, I like lower-rise coffee line better than that one.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like if we're going thematically, that's a better coffee line than that one.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I kind of like, it's double-coup on day.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_00]: You'll take down the town.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_00]: You'll bring down the town.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_01]: There's just something about that exchange.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_01]: Like that line by itself is really exactly what it needs to be.
- 1:01:37[SPEAKER_01]: But it's because you can't kill the bag boy.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_01]: Why not?
- 1:01:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's double-coup on day.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_01]: You'll bring down the town.
- 1:01:44[SPEAKER_01]: Like the fact that that's their response to that,
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_00]: but like also in the context of it, it's quite, I quite like it as well.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it's more representative of Luke and the Luke that we love.
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'm all in brings in too many, yeah.
- 1:01:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_00]: Do you want to go with that one or roll up a dollar bill and go nuts?
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the rush probably will be ready.
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_00]: The man you are, and then unless you just want to roll up a dollar bill and go nuts,
- 1:02:10[SPEAKER_01]: See, they're both, they both like scratch at the same age in my brain that I want them to.
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_01]: I do.
- 1:02:15[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think?
- 1:02:17[SPEAKER_00]: Which chill would you rather die on?
- 1:02:19[SPEAKER_00]: I think that this encapsulates this character more.
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_00]: They're bringing down the town?
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_00]: Fresh coffee will be ready in a minute unless you want to just roll up a dollar billing go nuts.
- 1:02:27[SPEAKER_00]: But I do think he'll bring down the town of like that line stands on its own, whereas like it's double coupon day, you need to know why the context is a little bit more.
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:02:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:02:38[SPEAKER_00]: You can't kill the back of the way.
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I actually, yeah, let's do dollar bill.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I go nuts.
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_00]: We've got one more.
- 1:02:45[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, man, one more.
- 1:02:47[SPEAKER_01]: Well, there's one that we haven't mentioned and I think maybe it would fit more into the catchphrase of it all.
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, is it's a lifestyle, it's a religion?
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so do think that that fits into the catchphrase more.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, we'll leave it aside.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_01]: Can you list out your absolutely positively wild list of extras that we have here to fit into the last spot?
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_01]: This is not a drive-through, she's not fried chicken.
- 1:03:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think no, I don't think that went to the last spot.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, it's all any of us want to find a nice person to hang out with until we drop dead.
- 1:03:19[SPEAKER_00]: Did we have any cute lines?
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, okay.
- 1:03:22[SPEAKER_00]: I mean we do.
- 1:03:23[SPEAKER_00]: We have, um, for tonight and I know only my name is Bill and this is our song.
- 1:03:27[SPEAKER_00]: This is our song.
- 1:03:27[SPEAKER_00]: Um, excuse me, did I just see you smell that book's cute?
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, excuse me, Mr.
- 1:03:31[SPEAKER_00]: I just see you smell that book.
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_00]: So what's the verdict?
- 1:03:33[SPEAKER_00]: I am an autumn.
- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_00]: Is that so sentimental?
- 1:03:36[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:03:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we can drop that one.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_00]: No, but I do believe he and my father have come to an agreement on how many goats I'm worth.
- 1:03:42[SPEAKER_01]: That's him, maybe.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's him.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_00]: It's good.
- 1:03:44[SPEAKER_00]: I can be flexible as long as everything is exactly the way I want.
- 1:03:49[SPEAKER_01]: I love that one.
- 1:03:49[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_01]: I want so good.
- 1:03:51[SPEAKER_01]: Pick a team.
- 1:03:52[SPEAKER_01]: It needs you.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_01]: Love it, but I think I don't love it more than flexible.
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_01]: team, it needs you.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_00]: Well, here's hoping your cat exposes itself to be so it's not that one, but that one makes me laugh.
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 1:04:07[SPEAKER_00]: We'll shake him really hard.
- 1:04:08[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe he'll disappear.
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_00]: And he's the context of like Ron Mann with an not just gadgets.
- 1:04:12[SPEAKER_01]: He dies.
- 1:04:13[SPEAKER_00]: And like, he's a grown man with an not just schedule.
- 1:04:16[SPEAKER_00]: We'll shake him really hard.
- 1:04:17[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe he'll disappear is really good.
- 1:04:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's so good.
- 1:04:20[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't think it can fit the last part.
- 1:04:22[SPEAKER_00]: When a woman gives birth to a crack baby, you do not buy her a puppy.
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_00]: What does that mean?
- 1:04:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think we have a plenty of time.
- 1:04:33[SPEAKER_00]: We've so many Emily quotes, yeah.
- 1:04:35[SPEAKER_00]: Ernest only has lovely things to say about you.
- 1:04:38[SPEAKER_01]: I love it, I love it so much, but I feel like it's not, it's not making the cut, but it will make the Jess cut when we do it, as well, remember.
- 1:04:46[SPEAKER_00]: You're at the bottom of my bogus bag and it's a block shot.
- 1:04:52[SPEAKER_01]: I just, I just think that that, it's so good, I can't leave it there for now, let's leave
- 1:04:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to make out in the coat room.
- 1:05:01[SPEAKER_00]: Don't eat my chicken.
- 1:05:02[SPEAKER_00]: Funny, but I don't think it's last spot.
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's that same thing of like a cat exposing yourself.
- 1:05:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's funny, but it's not last spot where the...
- 1:05:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's senior favorite hymnite at the Kim House make a run for it.
- 1:05:14[SPEAKER_00]: Also very funny.
- 1:05:15[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's so good.
- 1:05:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sad to leave Lane of Bliss, but I don't feel like that fits the last spot And if eating cake is wrong, I don't want to be right But we have the pie line.
- 1:05:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we have the pie line which fits into the dessert category I think we need up at the last minute.
- 1:05:28[SPEAKER_00]: We have don't panic.
- 1:05:29[SPEAKER_00]: I'll get the arc you get the animals Excellent, but not not the one.
- 1:05:34[SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's see black ice treacherous roads I guess I'll just put on my red white and blue leotard grandma gold lasso and fly the invisible plane on over
- 1:05:40[SPEAKER_01]: Do you like that better than bogus bag?
- 1:05:42[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, because they're both so good.
- 1:05:44[SPEAKER_00]: They're both so good.
- 1:05:46[SPEAKER_00]: You also have a lot of little guidelines.
- 1:05:48[SPEAKER_01]: We have a lot of blelettes because she says a lot of things.
- 1:05:50[SPEAKER_01]: She is the main character.
- 1:05:52[SPEAKER_01]: She is the main character.
- 1:05:53[SPEAKER_01]: She is the Gilmour girl.
- 1:05:54[SPEAKER_00]: But we also have a Richard.
- 1:05:56[SPEAKER_00]: Rory, are you in any way malnourished or in need of some international relief organization to recruit a celebrity to raise money on your account?
- 1:06:03[SPEAKER_00]: Just keeps growing and growing.
- 1:06:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:06:07[SPEAKER_01]: It is a really good line.
- 1:06:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's a good line.
- 1:06:10[SPEAKER_01]: I don't feel like I'm putting it in the last spot though.
- 1:06:12[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:06:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's also quite possible that we would want to trade something out.
- 1:06:16[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 1:06:16[SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's talk top 25 lines.
- 1:06:19[SPEAKER_01]: That's what we have so far.
- 1:06:20[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:06:20[SPEAKER_00]: If you're going to throw your life away, he better have a motorcycle.
- 1:06:23[SPEAKER_00]: I live in two worlds.
- 1:06:25[SPEAKER_00]: One is a world of books.
- 1:06:26[SPEAKER_00]: That's hold on.
- 1:06:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'm looking up aneurysm in our medical dictionary to see if I just had one.
- 1:06:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:06:32[SPEAKER_00]: This is a two for one.
- 1:06:33[SPEAKER_00]: Only prostitutes have two glasses of wine at lunch.
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_00]: We'll then buy me a boa and drive me to Reno because I am open for business.
- 1:06:39[SPEAKER_00]: If she isn't, yes, of course.
- 1:06:41[SPEAKER_00]: People can live 100 years without living for a minute.
- 1:06:43[SPEAKER_00]: You climb up here with me.
- 1:06:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's one last minute you haven't lived.
- 1:06:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:06:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:06:47[SPEAKER_00]: Number six is a two for.
- 1:06:49[SPEAKER_00]: So what's the verdict?
- 1:06:50[SPEAKER_00]: I am an autumn.
- 1:06:51[SPEAKER_00]: Number seven is
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_00]: Number nine is oil with the poodles already, which I think could be a two-for-with.
- 1:07:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'm telling you it's not going to much you talk about, well it's right at our first place.
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_01]: I think that we should combine to them.
- 1:07:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:07:06[SPEAKER_01]: I think that that's one line.
- 1:07:07[SPEAKER_01]: 10 is people are particularly stupid today.
- 1:07:09[SPEAKER_01]: I can't talk to any more of them.
- 1:07:11[SPEAKER_01]: Do you like that one more than bogus bag?
- 1:07:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, I feel like that's like such an iconic good line that like really encapsulates that character.
- 1:07:21[SPEAKER_01]: It's just so hard.
- 1:07:22[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I love it.
- 1:07:23[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe it's overused and that's why I'm like immediately like bogus back.
- 1:07:27[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 1:07:27[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 1:07:27[SPEAKER_00]: I know my bogus back.
- 1:07:28[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 1:07:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's a good one, though.
- 1:07:32[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like people are like, you guys left this out and include bogus back.
- 1:07:35[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, what is bogus back?
- 1:07:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's so fucking funny.
- 1:07:38[SPEAKER_00]: This list is a bogus bag.
- 1:07:39[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like people are going to say.
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_00]: People are going to have opinions about it.
- 1:07:42[SPEAKER_00]: Of course.
- 1:07:43[SPEAKER_00]: Is it raining?
- 1:07:43[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 1:07:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's a national baptism day tire tubes that he is cemented.
- 1:07:47[SPEAKER_00]: Can't we?
- 1:07:48[SPEAKER_00]: We also forgot about Paris.
- 1:07:49[SPEAKER_00]: What is full line she says for she goes, I am not your mother or your hugger if you want some love.
- 1:07:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's something she says.
- 1:07:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, when she's talking to the Yale Daily News.
- 1:08:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, hilarious.
- 1:08:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's after Roy comes back after her departure from Yale because Logan walks in and he tries to like interact with her and that's really all you remember from that.
- 1:08:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:08:13[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, hilarious.
- 1:08:14[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not.
- 1:08:15[SPEAKER_00]: If you want some love, get a hook, get a hooker.
- 1:08:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's it's an amazing line by the way.
- 1:08:21[SPEAKER_00]: I was going to wait until you called me, but my life is not as long as yours What's the opposite of on we off we I'm cured number 14 is you're gonna wake up on morning walk out and pow color coming out of your hanging Has to pay 15 on once that we put on to
- 1:08:38[SPEAKER_01]: Tuba Betts credit, another line, Nome Kicking says a lot about a man's character.
- 1:08:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think that I take that.
- 1:08:47[SPEAKER_00]: Nome Kicking says a lot about a man's character.
- 1:08:50[SPEAKER_01]: I was looking over here and I was like, wait, I didn't say that one.
- 1:08:52[SPEAKER_01]: It was actually my top five and I didn't say it.
- 1:08:56[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 1:08:56[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 1:08:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, sorry, pal.
- 1:08:59[SPEAKER_00]: I love, you know, that's about like one of my favorites.
- 1:09:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but Nome Kicking says a lot about a man's character is.
- 1:09:04[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we can have them both.
- 1:09:06[SPEAKER_00]: We can, like, that can be.
- 1:09:07[SPEAKER_00]: We could.
- 1:09:08[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 1:09:08[SPEAKER_00]: Number 15 is I once bring my pex lifting a bird bath and they were of no good to me ever again.
- 1:09:12[SPEAKER_00]: Sixth ever again.
- 1:09:13[SPEAKER_00]: Never again.
- 1:09:15[SPEAKER_00]: 16, I heard he controls the weather and with a screenplay to glitter.
- 1:09:18[SPEAKER_00]: Do you like that better than pal coming out your young gang?
- 1:09:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 1:09:22[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:09:23[SPEAKER_00]: for tonight and tonight only, my name is Bill and this is our song.
- 1:09:26[SPEAKER_00]: Number 18 is at least she had a husband to kill.
- 1:09:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yes.
- 1:09:31[SPEAKER_01]: House, oh, you have to keep that one.
- 1:09:33[SPEAKER_01]: 19 is why did you drop out of Yale?
- 1:09:35[SPEAKER_01]: Which I think it's, we have to keep it because of the line.
- 1:09:39[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's, it's why did you drop out of Yale?
- 1:09:41[SPEAKER_00]: Like you can't just say it, why did you drop out of Yale?
- 1:09:43[SPEAKER_00]: That's why one, I don't know if you guys have noticed this because I certainly did Tara hasn't done many impressions in this episode, but I feel like that one you have to drop out of
- 1:09:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it has to have the Milo effect.
- 1:09:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it does.
- 1:09:58[SPEAKER_01]: Because as a line itself, when you just read it, you're like, why did you drop out of Yale?
- 1:10:01[SPEAKER_01]: If someone read that, having never seen the show, they're like, that I know.
- 1:10:05[SPEAKER_00]: The line?
- 1:10:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:10:07[SPEAKER_00]: But with delivery is so good.
- 1:10:08[SPEAKER_00]: And the context is very good.
- 1:10:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:10:10[SPEAKER_00]: Number 20 is a two for focus.
- 1:10:12[SPEAKER_00]: I am a camera.
- 1:10:13[SPEAKER_00]: That's one that I would maybe.
- 1:10:15[SPEAKER_00]: I love that line, but I could trade it out.
- 1:10:18[SPEAKER_01]: I could trade it out, but it's still like, what for is really what it is.
- 1:10:23[SPEAKER_00]: Well, focus, I am a camera.
- 1:10:25[SPEAKER_00]: Power color coming out to your young young.
- 1:10:27[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna have color coming out of my young young.
- 1:10:29[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the maybe you'll find yourself a man, maybe you'll find the find a man.
- 1:10:33[SPEAKER_00]: That's really hard.
- 1:10:33[SPEAKER_00]: That comes down to taste, I feel like.
- 1:10:35[SPEAKER_01]: I think so too.
- 1:10:36[SPEAKER_00]: Number 21 is I stopped drinking the coffee and I stopped doing the standing walking and words putting it to sentence doing.
- 1:10:42[SPEAKER_01]: That's our coffee line.
- 1:10:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:10:44[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we have another coffee.
- 1:10:45[SPEAKER_00]: Fresh coffee will be already in a minute, unless you want to roll up a dollar bill and go nuts.
- 1:10:50[SPEAKER_01]: That's okay, oh, that's hard.
- 1:10:53[SPEAKER_01]: I know because I do like pal better than that line better than which line then I can't stop drinking the coffee.
- 1:11:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I just really like the the turn of phrase of words putting into sentence doing I agree like I like that race has your like a pop-up book from hell 23 is excuse me did I just see smell that book 24 is I'm attracted to pie.
- 1:11:16[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't mean I feel the need to date pie
- 1:11:19[SPEAKER_00]: And 25 is fresh coffee will be ready in a minute unless you want to roll up a dollar bill and go nuts.
- 1:11:23[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I think you're at the bottom of my bogus bag and its zip locked shut is so good, but I also really think, no, but I do believe he and my father have come to an agreement on how many goats I'm worth.
- 1:11:35[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's really hard.
- 1:11:37[SPEAKER_00]: I think that I might switch that out for focus.
- 1:11:39[SPEAKER_00]: I am a camera.
- 1:11:40[SPEAKER_00]: Bogus bag?
- 1:11:42[SPEAKER_00]: Or no, I do believe he and goats.
- 1:11:46[SPEAKER_01]: Just the short end.
- 1:11:47[SPEAKER_01]: No, just go.
- 1:11:48[SPEAKER_01]: It was short.
- 1:11:50[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:11:51[SPEAKER_01]: That one's hard.
- 1:11:52[SPEAKER_01]: That one's hard because I really do love that line.
- 1:11:54[SPEAKER_01]: Goats go to I feel less passionate about, but I think it's such a strong line.
- 1:11:59[SPEAKER_01]: Would you like to die on that hill?
- 1:12:01[SPEAKER_00]: I think so.
- 1:12:02[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, that'll okay.
- 1:12:03[SPEAKER_00]: Then you shall perish.
- 1:12:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm pretty sure I said I would die on that hill earlier for focus on camera.
- 1:12:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you did.
- 1:12:12[SPEAKER_01]: Is that a hill you want to die on?
- 1:12:14[SPEAKER_01]: My hill was much smaller than your hill.
- 1:12:15[SPEAKER_01]: It seemed like so.
- 1:12:16[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I really love that line.
- 1:12:18[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:12:19[SPEAKER_00]: So bogus bag versus people are particularly stupid today.
- 1:12:22[SPEAKER_00]: I can't talk to any more of them.
- 1:12:24[SPEAKER_01]: Objectively.
- 1:12:26[SPEAKER_01]: Oh wait, we have one more slot.
- 1:12:28[SPEAKER_01]: No, we do have another slot, but I didn't know if we wanted to double up on that bet with the Well, sure.
- 1:12:33[SPEAKER_01]: See the thing is objectively bogus bag is better than people are particularly stupid today But it just maybe it's because of like it's such an iconic line that people quoted it's highly quotable as if bogus bag is an highly quotable It's just often quoted people are particularly stupid today
- 1:12:51[SPEAKER_01]: If I was going to need a point one of those lines, I would need a point people are particularly stupid today.
- 1:12:55[SPEAKER_01]: That's so true.
- 1:12:57[SPEAKER_01]: Though you're the bottom of my bogus bag.
- 1:12:59[SPEAKER_00]: It would be an iconic canvas, it really would.
- 1:13:03[SPEAKER_00]: I think we next pal, we gave it its flowers for the town you like.
- 1:13:06[SPEAKER_00]: We did.
- 1:13:07[SPEAKER_01]: You're so right.
- 1:13:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:13:08[SPEAKER_01]: We did for Nome Kicking as well and past.
- 1:13:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 1:13:11[SPEAKER_00]: But I just think that those...
- 1:13:14[SPEAKER_00]: I hope you guys have caught on to the short-hand that we're using here now.
- 1:13:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think bogus bag is number 26.
- 1:13:22[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, let's do bogus bag.
- 1:13:24[SPEAKER_00]: So those are 26.
- 1:13:26[SPEAKER_01]: Did we include excuse me?
- 1:13:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, okay, we did.
- 1:13:30[SPEAKER_01]: That was really one of my only hills.
- 1:13:32[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:13:33[SPEAKER_00]: I appreciate you sharing it with me.
- 1:13:35[SPEAKER_00]: 26.
- 1:13:36[SPEAKER_00]: I mean like this is this is a solid solid list.
- 1:13:39[SPEAKER_00]: I agree with you that I think if we were doing this individually we might have some we would have to be with exchange in and out.
- 1:13:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:13:47[SPEAKER_00]: But this is pretty solid.
- 1:13:49[SPEAKER_01]: Because like who is this list for?
- 1:13:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's really the question.
- 1:13:52[SPEAKER_01]: Is it for y'all?
- 1:13:54[SPEAKER_01]: Is it to be like objective?
- 1:13:55[SPEAKER_01]: These are the best lines.
- 1:13:56[SPEAKER_01]: Is this what made us laugh?
- 1:13:58[SPEAKER_01]: No one actually knows not even you and I actually We actually developed a lot of rules throughout the course of those episodes.
- 1:14:05[SPEAKER_01]: So many rules were thrown out people died on hills people were Rez erected on those hills and then just walked down them
- 1:14:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like it truly, you know, it's so difficult to tell.
- 1:14:17[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, this is what we went through last year with the top 25 episodes of Gilmour Rolls, and whoever me has to do that, I would really like their names and numbers.
- 1:14:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, well, actually we could provide them easily because it's us and my phone number is.
- 1:14:29[SPEAKER_01]: Because I'm number one, because I'm number one.
- 1:14:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, I know this list when you show it to me tomorrow I'd be like, who made that list?
- 1:14:39[SPEAKER_01]: This is Vogue's bag.
- 1:14:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm in the bottom of the bogus bag and I'm simply like to zip lock shut this list and behind the block it in finally answer.
- 1:14:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, final answer.
- 1:14:50[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, do do do do do do.
- 1:14:51[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 1:14:52[SPEAKER_01]: What would we win?
- 1:14:53[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 1:14:53[SPEAKER_00]: Probably no one's not a million dollars.
- 1:14:57[SPEAKER_00]: But let us know if there's something on here that we didn't talk about today, or if there is one that you feel should absolutely have been on the list, because... Yeah.
- 1:15:05[SPEAKER_01]: And what you would trade it out with.
- 1:15:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I suppose that you would exchange it for.
- 1:15:09[SPEAKER_00]: We need a nice exchange.
- 1:15:11[SPEAKER_00]: We do need a nice exchange.
- 1:15:13[SPEAKER_00]: But this was a lot of fun.
- 1:15:14[SPEAKER_00]: If you're with us on YouTube, but you feel like a lot of people are these days, but just so much fun to see your comments.
- 1:15:18[SPEAKER_00]: Definitely comment below what you think.
- 1:15:21[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll talk about it at the end of our month for our roundup.
- 1:15:26[SPEAKER_01]: I already amanticipating people, like, is this rage bait?
- 1:15:29[SPEAKER_01]: And we're like, no, this is the end it's certainly.
- 1:15:33[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't on purpose.
- 1:15:35[SPEAKER_01]: It just, that's what comes from our minds.
- 1:15:37[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 1:15:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's what it is.
- 1:15:39[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, sorry.
- 1:15:39[SPEAKER_01]: Do you have a fave from these that, like, on first glance, you're like, oh, this is the one.
- 1:15:45[SPEAKER_00]: No, I am an equal opportunist here.
- 1:15:48[SPEAKER_00]: I love so many of these lines so much because they're so, they mean so much to me because like so many of these lines sit heavy in my like 12 year old soul that still lives and exists within me because I remember watching some of these.
- 1:16:02[SPEAKER_00]: said for the first time.
- 1:16:04[SPEAKER_00]: And like, you know, I heard he controls the weather and the screenplay to go glitter.
- 1:16:08[SPEAKER_00]: I used to laugh at, like, yeah, I call that.
- 1:16:11[SPEAKER_00]: And no, but I do believe he and my father have come to an agreement on how many goats I'm worth is something I would repeat all the time.
- 1:16:17[SPEAKER_00]: Probably so.
- 1:16:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we can actually unzip lock the list and add something small.
- 1:16:24[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, to the I was about to say it wrong again because I just read it people can climb 100 years I would like to before people can live 100 years put your choice ace it's your choice ace people can live 100 years without really living for a minute like that it's your choice ace is like
- 1:16:40[SPEAKER_01]: Because I was like about to say, I was like, well, from me, it's probably at your choice ace.
- 1:16:43[SPEAKER_01]: And then I was like, didn't even include that.
- 1:16:45[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 1:16:46[SPEAKER_00]: I was going to ask you if you wanted to include it, but I was sure.
- 1:16:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:16:49[SPEAKER_01]: I got two caught up in the fact that I wrote down at your choice ace.
- 1:16:52[SPEAKER_01]: People can climb a hundred years ago with me for a minute.
- 1:16:56[SPEAKER_01]: She's tired.
- 1:16:57[SPEAKER_01]: Dye, oh, I'm having a hard day today.
- 1:16:59[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, it's fine.
- 1:17:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's fine.
- 1:17:01[SPEAKER_01]: But now we can zip lock the bag, the list of you.
- 1:17:07[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much.
- 1:17:08[SPEAKER_00]: But that was our top 26 lines of Gilmore Girls today, might change today.
- 1:17:13[SPEAKER_00]: But we're so excited to get to celebrate this show's anniversary year after year with you guys.
- 1:17:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's always so fun to come up with different ways to celebrate it.
- 1:17:24[SPEAKER_00]: And especially after the 25th anniversary, we weren't sure exactly how we were going to continue to celebrate it.
- 1:17:30[SPEAKER_00]: But we did, and I loved it.
- 1:17:32[SPEAKER_00]: We did.
- 1:17:33[SPEAKER_00]: Our Tony lines episode really inspired this one, and hopefully you guys like this one, just as much as you like the Tony lines, because that was a really fun episode.
- 1:17:40[SPEAKER_01]: And I had a lot of fun here today too.
- 1:17:42[SPEAKER_01]: It was a lot of it because the impressions, and this episode was lacking in impressions.
- 1:17:46[SPEAKER_00]: I know, but I did do some of the cadence of this.
- 1:17:49[SPEAKER_01]: You did some, you did some bogus bag.
- 1:17:52[SPEAKER_01]: It kind of speaks for itself.
- 1:17:53[SPEAKER_01]: It does.
- 1:17:54[SPEAKER_01]: It does.
- 1:17:55[SPEAKER_00]: It's an illusion.
- 1:17:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's an illusion, also a great line.
- 1:17:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, anyway.
- 1:17:59[SPEAKER_00]: As always, if you liked this episode or any of our episodes feel free to subscribe on YouTube, give us a five sur rating on whatever podcast you're listening on and leave us a review.

- 1:18:09[SPEAKER_00]: We also love reading the YouTube comments and we've been popping over on YouTube lately.
- 1:18:13[SPEAKER_00]: So that's been a lot of fun.
- 1:18:14[SPEAKER_01]: Woohoo!
- 1:18:16[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why I said that.
- 1:18:17[SPEAKER_00]: I liked it.
- 1:18:17[SPEAKER_00]: Just started.
- 1:18:19[SPEAKER_00]: But next big episode as we mentioned at the beginning of this is going to be all about Regill war because of course it is her birthday.
- 1:18:27[SPEAKER_01]: And who better to talk about Rory and her career trajectory than someone who has one that's very similar journalist turned novelist among her very key.
- 1:18:34[SPEAKER_01]: And we'll have more to say on that in the next episode.
