- 1:47Speaker 3: Today it is July twenty eighth. It's eleven eleven. Make
- 1:51Speaker 3: a wishbellas.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Not a single one of my wishes from the clock
- 1:58Speaker 2: being the same number as ever come true?
- 2:01Speaker 1: Well you are you shooting for the stars?
- 2:03Speaker 2: No? I think it's usually pretty. Are these short wishes? Well,
- 2:08Speaker 2: it's a mix of both.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Like are you being very specific being like I want
- 2:13Speaker 1: twenty dollars in my hand right now?
- 2:15Speaker 2: No, Honestly, In fact, I started even going the non
- 2:19Speaker 2: selfish route, which I learned from the movie with Brendan Fraser,
- 2:25Speaker 2: where that he's the devil, isn't it? Yes, that beautiful
- 2:29Speaker 2: stark haired is it? It's not bewitched or something. It's
- 2:33Speaker 2: like that though the whale, I'm sorry the whale.
- 2:38Speaker 1: The devil's in it. It's a fat devil.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Is that not Brendan Fraser?
- 2:41Speaker 2: It is? It is? Yeah. Yeah.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Did you guys ever watch that?
- 2:45Speaker 2: I watched the first five minutes and couldn't keep.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Yeah, it was pretty oppressing.
- 2:49Speaker 1: It's awesome.
- 2:50Speaker 3: It's hilarious that he's in a fat suit. We have
- 2:53Speaker 3: so many fat people.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Yeah, that's like when when people like when Cuba Gooding
- 2:58Speaker 1: Junior plays especial.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, but if you have a fat person
- 3:03Speaker 2: play a fat person in a movie, it's cruel. Yeah, true,
- 3:06Speaker 2: that's inappropriate. True.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Yeah. People were making fun of him the entire movie.
- 3:12Speaker 1: People were just crushing him.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Yeah, that is true. And then he can just be like, well,
- 3:16Speaker 3: I'm not actually fat, so I'm actually fucking ripped.
- 3:22Speaker 1: It's so nice. I suppose that movie called So what
- 3:25Speaker 1: were You wishing for? You're saying for stuff for other
- 3:28Speaker 1: people were wishing for a world peace and that didn't
- 3:30Speaker 1: come through. So you stop believing in eleven eleven.
- 3:32Speaker 2: No, I mean you know in that movie, I learned
- 3:34Speaker 2: that the way he gets out of the clutches of
- 3:37Speaker 2: the devil is by finally casting a wish that is selfless.
- 3:42Speaker 2: He wishes something happy for someone else, right, and then
- 3:45Speaker 2: she has to release him. And so I started wishing
- 3:49Speaker 2: for happiness for other people. In fact, one time I
- 3:51Speaker 2: was in a car with a friend and I wished
- 3:54Speaker 2: when the was three thirty three, and I wish that
- 3:57Speaker 2: he would live a happy life, and then we hit
- 3:59Speaker 2: a truck in he died. Yeah.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Well, I was gonna say three three three is the
- 4:02Speaker 3: Devil's number.
- 4:03Speaker 2: And I was totally fine, that's wrong, it's six six six.
- 4:05Speaker 3: You ever seen The Conjuring, Yeah, of course three thirty three.
- 4:09Speaker 3: There's no six six six on the clock.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Brother, But why does it have to be on the clock.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Because in The Conjuring and the clock stops at three
- 4:17Speaker 3: three thirty.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Three, And you're sighting one movie that's like one of
- 4:21Speaker 2: the best horror movies. It really is.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Did you did you like any of the sequels or prequels?
- 4:26Speaker 3: I thought the second one was decent, the one in
- 4:28Speaker 3: London Conjuring two, I thought that one was scary.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Is that the one that opens with the housebreaking? I
- 4:33Speaker 2: think so where they just get stabbed immediately.
- 4:36Speaker 3: No, that's Annabelle.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Annabel I forgot I forgot.
- 4:39Speaker 3: About Annabelle Annabel. I thought it was great.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Annabel scared the.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Annabel scared the fuck out of it. A lot of
- 4:45Speaker 3: people think that movie sucks, and they don't think it's scared.
- 4:47Speaker 2: That scene where she's in the basement of the church
- 4:49Speaker 2: and opens the gets into the elevator and hits the
- 4:52Speaker 2: button and it then the doors open. She's still in
- 4:55Speaker 2: the basement. Oh I.
- 4:57Speaker 3: The only scene that I remember for that movie is
- 4:58Speaker 3: when she's sitting in the living room and there's the
- 5:02Speaker 3: swinging door like they have, like the door into the kitchen,
- 5:05Speaker 3: and like it. Someone goes through it and then she
- 5:08Speaker 3: sees like a little kid on the other side, like
- 5:11Speaker 3: running towards her, and then the kid gets through and
- 5:14Speaker 3: it turns into like a fully grown lady.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:17Speaker 3: And I remember watching that, and I went and I
- 5:22Speaker 3: was watching it with my cousin, and I've like never
- 5:24Speaker 3: screamed her in that ever. It was that scared the
- 5:28Speaker 3: fucking end.
- 5:28Speaker 2: I did that in Jaws with my parents. I was
- 5:31Speaker 2: watching Jaws when I was younger.
- 5:33Speaker 3: The scene with the body floats, that scene still scares
- 5:37Speaker 3: the shit out of me. I always have to be like,
- 5:39Speaker 3: I think it's coming up right now.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Hearing your own scream is scary in and of itself. Yeah,
- 5:44Speaker 1: you never know what it's going to sound like. Now,
- 5:47Speaker 1: have you guys ever heard yourself scream? I guess in
- 5:49Speaker 1: that circumstance, But like as adults, have you ever, like,
- 5:53Speaker 1: do you know what it sounds like? A terrified scream?
- 5:55Speaker 1: When even sound like coming out of you?
- 5:57Speaker 2: Mine's a roar. Mind's more of a roar, and I'm
- 6:01Speaker 2: thrilled by that. But it also is the sound I
- 6:04Speaker 2: would make in enormous grief. I think what I mean,
- 6:12Speaker 2: that's what it is.
- 6:13Speaker 3: What scenario are you guys letting out these noises? Because
- 6:15Speaker 3: I'm not really letting out a lot of like gasps
- 6:18Speaker 3: for my life.
- 6:20Speaker 1: I was on this zip line a couple of years ago.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I just tried to let one go, just to be like,
- 6:23Speaker 1: what would it sound like if I like Georgia the
- 6:25Speaker 1: jungle scream? Yeah, and it disappointed the.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Hell out of it. Yeah. I had night terrors twice
- 6:32Speaker 2: and I can remember both of them where I woke
- 6:35Speaker 2: up screaming. Really, yeah, you.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Could hear yourself in the night terrors.
- 6:41Speaker 2: I screamed for a while after I woke up because
- 6:44Speaker 2: I didn't realize that I was awake. Well that's what happens, right,
- 6:48Speaker 2: People wake up and they freaked the fun Yeah, and
- 6:50Speaker 2: luckily I was with my ex wife at the time.
- 6:53Speaker 2: She was able to like put a hand on me
- 6:55Speaker 2: and be like whoa, whoa, Oh, shut the fuck up,
- 6:58Speaker 2: calm down, Like what's going on you? Okay, this is
- 7:01Speaker 2: real life. It was a demon. I remember distinctly the
- 7:05Speaker 2: image I was being killed by a I remember it
- 7:13Speaker 2: so vividly.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Doesn't sound funny, And it.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Was so bad that it woke me up, and I
- 7:19Speaker 2: was screaming and screaming like.
- 7:23Speaker 1: It wasn't just a bad dream. I feel like night
- 7:25Speaker 1: terrors like that, where multiple people have the same experience.
- 7:29Speaker 1: That's not just a bad dream. No, that's some kind
- 7:31Speaker 1: of unexplained psychological phenomenon.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Yeah. I think I've had many nightmares, but never this
- 7:38Speaker 2: was like tangible. I could feel the touch of the demon.
- 7:44Speaker 1: That has to be just something we don't know about
- 7:46Speaker 1: that we haven't got to yet scientifically. That and it
- 7:49Speaker 1: could be real demons. You never know, angels and demons.
- 7:53Speaker 1: I've been looking into Dolphin Berth recently. Did you guys
- 7:58Speaker 1: hear that Dolphin Berth has been out well, that you're
- 8:00Speaker 1: not allowed to women aren't allowed to give birth with dolphins,
- 8:04Speaker 1: but women used to give birth with dolphins nearby, and
- 8:07Speaker 1: that it would like the babies would come out with
- 8:10Speaker 1: like their eyes open, with like a different level of
- 8:12Speaker 1: psychological understanding. Yeah, and then maybe they don't they outlawed
- 8:17Speaker 1: it because the dolphins know about the aliens at the
- 8:19Speaker 1: bottom of the ocean. But it's just these unexplained phenomena
- 8:23Speaker 1: like the sleep the sleep demon. You're skeptical about it,
- 8:27Speaker 1: so you seem skeptical.
- 8:28Speaker 2: I'm trying to unpack the things you just said.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Dolphin birth is the belief that you know what, it
- 8:37Speaker 1: doesn't matter, you can't even ask.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Here's my question. Is the belief that the presence of
- 8:43Speaker 2: dolphins informs the newborn child in some way.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Yeah, that they have some kind of new spiritual understanding.
- 8:51Speaker 1: So as they're born with the dolphins.
- 8:53Speaker 2: And yet those then there are people that want to
- 8:55Speaker 2: protect the dolphins.
- 8:56Speaker 1: And why well, or no, they don't want to protect.
- 8:59Speaker 2: The Why do people outlaw that though.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Because they don't want us to know. They don't want
- 9:04Speaker 1: us to know and gain the benefits of what the
- 9:06Speaker 1: dolphin is given to us.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Who doesn't want us the government?
- 9:09Speaker 1: Yeah, probably the CIA, the same people swept the Epstein
- 9:13Speaker 1: stuff under the rug.
- 9:14Speaker 2: All right, that makes sense, Okay, I can get I'm.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Just scratching the surface of dolphin berth, but I think
- 9:21Speaker 1: it's correlated to night terrors in the inverse. It's just
- 9:25Speaker 1: the other end of the spectrum.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Did you have a dolphin berth? Imagine finding out you
- 9:33Speaker 3: had a dolphin berth? Like now, like when you're thirty six,
- 9:38Speaker 3: your mom calls you and I got to tell you something.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Francis been weighing on.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Me, and you were born.
- 9:45Speaker 3: There was seventeen dolphins circling us.
- 9:48Speaker 2: We spent your entire college fund, and if we're honest,
- 9:52Speaker 2: the fact that you have not told us what's going
- 9:55Speaker 2: on with the aliens means it was a gigantic waste
- 9:58Speaker 2: of money.
- 9:59Speaker 3: This was a massive investment.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Don't get the benefits of the dolphin berth. After the
- 10:06Speaker 1: dolphin berth. I mean, I saw this all on TikTok.
- 10:08Speaker 1: But there's people in the TikTok comments that are like,
- 10:11Speaker 1: I had a dolphin berth, and I'm like, well, what
- 10:14Speaker 1: are you doing on TikTok? Like fucking soft World hunger,
- 10:17Speaker 1: like touch a fucking child with cancer on their forehead
- 10:20Speaker 1: something like that, like stop fucking being in the comments,
- 10:23Speaker 1: like what were the benefits of the dolphin berth? But
- 10:26Speaker 1: people love to talk about the dolphin berth?
- 10:30Speaker 2: Well, speaking of fish.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I went fishing.
- 10:36Speaker 2: It was good.
- 10:37Speaker 3: I'm fucking exhausted, but from fishing so hard. Dude, Well
- 10:41Speaker 3: we hit it hard because we only had three days,
- 10:44Speaker 3: and last year I don't know how the fuck last
- 10:47Speaker 3: year we did like we did like eight full days,
- 10:50Speaker 3: like full like sleep wake up fish. After two days,
- 10:55Speaker 3: I was like, dude, I'm gonna die. It was insane,
- 11:00Speaker 3: like it was. I mean, everyone, everyone uh likes to
- 11:04Speaker 3: everyone likes to make fun of my outfits while I'm fishing.
- 11:06Speaker 3: But people don't understand, like you're in the sun for
- 11:10Speaker 3: ten hours at ten thousand feet elevation.
- 11:13Speaker 2: I mean, look, I don't want to I'm not frying.
- 11:15Speaker 2: I'm not here to make fun of it. I just
- 11:17Speaker 2: can't believe that you wear business casual attired.
- 11:20Speaker 3: But it's not. That's the thing too. Everyone thinks it's
- 11:22Speaker 3: it's an LLBean fishing.
- 11:24Speaker 2: You are wearing clothing that was like UV protecting church.
- 11:29Speaker 3: No, No, it's uv protecting and they have like they
- 11:32Speaker 3: have pockets on the side. It's got a thing on
- 11:35Speaker 3: the inside. It's got like I don't know if you
- 11:36Speaker 3: guys even have ever seen this on fishing shirts on
- 11:38Speaker 3: the inside, like right here there will be a little
- 11:41Speaker 3: patch and it'll be made out of the stuff to
- 11:43Speaker 3: wipe down your sunglasses.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Unbelievable rubbed. You know. It's also there's another way to
- 11:50Speaker 2: do that actually, which is just to use your shirt.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Oh that doesn't work. That's because you don't have good
- 11:55Speaker 3: fish finders.
- 11:57Speaker 1: What's a fish finder?
- 11:59Speaker 3: Glasses?
- 11:59Speaker 2: Oh? Got it?
- 12:01Speaker 1: So shirts don't work for it.
- 12:02Speaker 3: I was back in the big city for a second.
- 12:04Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't know the city boys. I
- 12:06Speaker 2: don't need fish finders. Do you know why? Because I
- 12:09Speaker 2: was born with the dolphins.
- 12:11Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:11Speaker 2: True. I have a sense of where the.
- 12:13Speaker 1: It licks his finger and push it in the water,
- 12:15Speaker 1: and the fish just rushed to it.
- 12:17Speaker 2: That's exactly right.
- 12:21Speaker 3: And they all just float up upside down.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Chumming, chumming the waters. Those are good. Those are good dolphins.
- 12:29Speaker 2: That's a good dolphin. Sounds really good dolphin right there?
- 12:34Speaker 3: Damn Yeah, it was uh he do we we hit
- 12:39Speaker 3: it hard? It was like mostly like wake up at
- 12:42Speaker 3: six or seven and then fish until like nine that's insane.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Yeah, well what are you snacking on? Are you having coffee?
- 12:50Speaker 3: Yeah? We brought watering food like we would bring out
- 12:52Speaker 3: like some sandwiches and stuff. Fish until nine am nine pm.
- 12:57Speaker 2: You'd fish from six am till nine pm.
- 13:00Speaker 3: No, we'd wake up, we'd make breakfast, do some ship,
- 13:03Speaker 3: probably get out on the water around like it depended.
- 13:08Speaker 3: It depends on the day. Because one day we had
- 13:10Speaker 3: to go back into town to get flies. So that
- 13:12Speaker 3: day we didn't get out until like eleven. How far
- 13:15Speaker 3: away was town but the fishing didn't really turn on
- 13:17Speaker 3: until like noon anyway?
- 13:19Speaker 1: Or how far away was town?
- 13:21Speaker 3: An hour?
- 13:22Speaker 2: Okay, what town was it? I'm not going to tell you, no,
- 13:24Speaker 2: you can now because you're not You're not there anymore.
- 13:27Speaker 3: I'm giving up the honey hole, do you know how badly?
- 13:32Speaker 2: Actually, I'm not even going to tell you that I'm
- 13:34Speaker 2: gonna save that.
- 13:36Speaker 1: But just know that it would cause a gold rush
- 13:39Speaker 1: to that town. If you said it on the podcast.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Oh yeah, for sure, if you said word of what
- 13:44Speaker 1: town it was.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not going to give up the honey hole,
- 13:47Speaker 3: but it was.
- 13:48Speaker 2: It was great. It was a good time.
- 13:49Speaker 3: I mean, just you Bo, Peters, Yeah, just Mebo and Peters.
- 13:52Speaker 2: What happened to Nate? Uh?
- 13:54Speaker 3: He had work and he doesn't really fish. So when
- 13:57Speaker 3: we just went to Maine, who.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Likes fishing the least of all them, of all three
- 14:00Speaker 1: of you's.
- 14:02Speaker 2: I don't know, I'd say Peters.
- 14:06Speaker 3: I really don't know.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Someone has to like it the least.
- 14:09Speaker 2: You know.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Peters had a rough third day, but I had a
- 14:14Speaker 3: terrible day one. Just a mess. Couldn't catch nothing, couldn't
- 14:18Speaker 3: catch a fucking thing, Losing flies left and right, snagged
- 14:22Speaker 3: every cast who had fought. I almost broke down on
- 14:25Speaker 3: day one. Who had fought? Yeah, we kept it pretty civil.
- 14:29Speaker 2: No f ott what each of the trip? Oh me? Yeah? Yeah?
- 14:37Speaker 3: That well, yeah, it was a behemoth, that slob dude
- 14:41Speaker 3: that I wish I could just relive the the eat.
- 14:46Speaker 2: The take.
- 14:47Speaker 1: How big or how deep was the water where you
- 14:49Speaker 1: caught that? In deep?
- 14:50Speaker 3: Probably like ten plus feet really, which for like a river,
- 14:54Speaker 3: I mean it's small water. So so it was a
- 14:57Speaker 3: really deep pool.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Because in the background of the picture it looked pretty
- 14:59Speaker 1: shall I was like, dude, catching a fish like that
- 15:02Speaker 1: and yeah, it.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Was super shallow and then it go it went into
- 15:05Speaker 3: deep that's where I was casting, and then it hit
- 15:08Speaker 3: and then you see it under You see the fish underwater,
- 15:11Speaker 3: because I was fishing a streamer, which is like just
- 15:13Speaker 3: like a bait fish, and you pull it in and
- 15:15Speaker 3: then it feels like you just hit like a log,
- 15:17Speaker 3: and then you see it headshake under the water and
- 15:20Speaker 3: then it saw. I saw its whole body turn and
- 15:22Speaker 3: I was like, that's a forty inch fish. I was
- 15:26Speaker 3: freaking the fuck out I would do because because the
- 15:29Speaker 3: day before it also it was not even close, but
- 15:31Speaker 3: it looks so big. It was probably like eighteen It
- 15:36Speaker 3: looked like it was fucking a shark underwater, dude, because
- 15:40Speaker 3: you know, like sometimes underwater like magnifies.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Things of course, objects and mirror.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Yeah, so it.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Looks fucking huge. But the day before I caught a
- 15:49Speaker 3: big one on a dry fly and bo fucked up
- 15:53Speaker 3: the net job and I lost it. And that was
- 15:56Speaker 3: like that was after like a long day and I
- 15:59Speaker 3: just we just sat in silence, and part of me
- 16:02Speaker 3: I confronted him about it later. Part of me was like,
- 16:04Speaker 3: I think he might have done that on purpose, you know,
- 16:07Speaker 3: I had a whale on and he was ready to
- 16:10Speaker 3: get netted. And I'm sitting there, I'm holding the rod
- 16:12Speaker 3: up and he's got the net and I'm like it,
- 16:14Speaker 3: nett it and he's just standing there and he's like
- 16:16Speaker 3: it's not ready, And I was like, what do you mean?
- 16:19Speaker 3: And then again it broke off.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Why wouldn't it have been ready?
- 16:22Speaker 3: Because like sometimes if they're not like tired out enough
- 16:25Speaker 3: net them, they'll jet.
- 16:27Speaker 2: And if you and you gotta let him run, if
- 16:30Speaker 2: you try to net right as they're about to run,
- 16:32Speaker 2: you may run even harder. Yeah, exactly, because they know.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Well also because if someone comes up to them with
- 16:37Speaker 3: a net, they get even more spooks than they fly away.
- 16:40Speaker 1: It's not ready. What the fuck is he talking about?
- 16:43Speaker 3: Fly fishing like you kind of have to It's it's
- 16:46Speaker 3: a little bit, uh, I don't really know how.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Like morally.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Good it is the way that you do it, because
- 16:54Speaker 3: fly fishing, it's like you're fishing on a rod that
- 16:56Speaker 3: is not heavy at all compared to like a spin rod.
- 17:00Speaker 3: It's a very light rod. You could snap the rod
- 17:02Speaker 3: with no effort. Yeah, and then the line that you're fishing,
- 17:06Speaker 3: like we were fishing five x, which is like it's
- 17:08Speaker 3: literally like you could just rip it. Like it's so
- 17:11Speaker 3: that the line is so thin because the fish can
- 17:13Speaker 3: see the line. So when you're fly fishing, you hook
- 17:17Speaker 3: the fish and you can't like with a spin rod.
- 17:20Speaker 3: You hook the fish and then you really can just
- 17:22Speaker 3: reel like just pull it in. If you do that
- 17:24Speaker 3: on a fly rod, it would snap off immediately.
- 17:26Speaker 1: So why is it not ethical?
- 17:28Speaker 3: Because you got to tire out the fish and then.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Like it's like beating up a deer before you shoot.
- 17:34Speaker 3: It kind of yeah, a little bit like that, and
- 17:36Speaker 3: then if you're releasing that, So it's like you kind
- 17:38Speaker 3: of got to keep them in the like you really
- 17:39Speaker 3: got to keep trout specifically like in the water. Like
- 17:42Speaker 3: they're really not even supposed to get out of the water,
- 17:45Speaker 3: so like if you're gonna do a picture, you kind
- 17:47Speaker 3: of just you lift them up and then you put
- 17:48Speaker 3: them right back.
- 17:49Speaker 2: In, yeah, or else they'll die.
- 17:51Speaker 3: It's pretty crazy. It's pretty funny because it's like if
- 17:53Speaker 3: you go saltwater fishing, you catch a striped bass and
- 17:55Speaker 3: like throw that thing.
- 17:56Speaker 2: On the rocks and bounce right back. Yeah.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Yeah, you could literally bring a striper home and bring
- 18:03Speaker 3: it back to the ocean and it would swim away.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Fine five hours later.
- 18:07Speaker 2: You say that. And one time I caught an absolute
- 18:10Speaker 2: gigantic striper. Yeah, and then we unhooked it and went
- 18:15Speaker 2: to put it back and it just flipped over onto
- 18:17Speaker 2: its sides, swimming on its side because it was too big.
- 18:21Speaker 2: We had to put it with it.
- 18:23Speaker 3: Sometimes, when they're really deep and they come up, they die.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Well either way for whatever reason, probably from fighting so long.
- 18:31Speaker 2: And what pissed me off was that we didn't get
- 18:33Speaker 2: to keep any of the fish we caught because none
- 18:35Speaker 2: of them were in the regulation. They were all too big, right, Yeah,
- 18:39Speaker 2: and uh, that one was just gonna die. Yeah, And
- 18:45Speaker 2: we could see it. It's just stupidly on its side feeling,
- 18:50Speaker 2: and I'm like, well, we gotta go get it.
- 18:52Speaker 3: You still can't keep it.
- 18:53Speaker 2: He was like, you can't because they wouldn't believe, Yeah,
- 18:56Speaker 2: what had happened if they boarded us.
- 18:58Speaker 1: And you had to film. It's a devastating.
- 19:01Speaker 2: I said it right here on the boat. I don't
- 19:03Speaker 2: give if it's.
- 19:03Speaker 3: A crushing feeling killing a fish and then having to
- 19:06Speaker 3: release it. You're like, this is I'm the worst person
- 19:10Speaker 3: in the planet.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Yeah. But then you think, Okay, well this is just
- 19:14Speaker 2: gonna go back into the ocean, you know, Yeah, this
- 19:16Speaker 2: will be food.
- 19:17Speaker 1: This will be an easy snack for Yeah.
- 19:19Speaker 2: I was the Uper Eats delivery guy for a larger fish.
- 19:24Speaker 3: Did you see that video of that dude that was shark?
- 19:26Speaker 3: He caught a shark off the shore and it bit him.
- 19:30Speaker 3: That looked like he got fucked up because he like
- 19:33Speaker 3: tried to play it cool and then.
- 19:34Speaker 2: He was to walk someone tears their achilles.
- 19:38Speaker 3: And walk off afterwards, that thing just came right back
- 19:43Speaker 3: and just snatched him.
- 19:45Speaker 1: I didn't see what happened.
- 19:46Speaker 3: It was a small shark, but he was like releasing
- 19:48Speaker 3: it was probably like this big and he was likely
- 19:50Speaker 3: they were like dragging it back into the water trying
- 19:52Speaker 3: to get it into the waves. I think it just
- 19:55Speaker 3: got him on the foot because the second they like
- 19:57Speaker 3: they turned it around like send it, and then it
- 19:59Speaker 3: like like turned back around and bit the dude.
- 20:02Speaker 2: He had to get a helicopter to take him.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Out though, just like get to lick back a little bit. Definitely,
- 20:08Speaker 1: you're not going to just get dominated like that.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Catching sharks is insane.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Insane, so so many more, so many questions.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I've so many questions. Should ping pong back and forth?
- 20:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess the first question is how was the tent?
- 20:23Speaker 2: Did you get a bigger one?
- 20:24Speaker 3: Yeah? With the camping this year was so much better?
- 20:28Speaker 3: Why unbelievably better?
- 20:30Speaker 1: Why bigger tent?
- 20:33Speaker 3: We did a well? We stayed in a real campsite,
- 20:36Speaker 3: like a place where you have to like a reserve
- 20:38Speaker 3: the campsite online and then you go and it's just
- 20:40Speaker 3: you park your car and there's a place for you
- 20:42Speaker 3: to there's like a picnic table in a place for
- 20:44Speaker 3: you to put the tent.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Was it ground you were on or had they did
- 20:47Speaker 2: they have platforms for you?
- 20:49Speaker 3: Okay, but it was like last year we straight up
- 20:52Speaker 3: just like Whens of the Woods. It was like it
- 20:55Speaker 3: was like we just pulled over and we're like, this
- 20:57Speaker 3: is like a good spot, which.
- 20:58Speaker 1: That is more badass.
- 21:00Speaker 3: It's more badass, but it's fucking cold and it's dark,
- 21:05Speaker 3: like it's kind of it's a lot more like draining.
- 21:08Speaker 3: I feel like this was like we weren't with a
- 21:10Speaker 3: lot of people. There was like other people there, so
- 21:12Speaker 3: it's like then you don't have to worry about animals
- 21:13Speaker 3: at all, really because it's like a bear is not
- 21:16Speaker 3: gonna pull up on like forty five cars or people,
- 21:19Speaker 3: not cars. There's six cars, probably not forty five people,
- 21:23Speaker 3: probably more like twenty.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Did you get to know any of those people?
- 21:26Speaker 3: A couple of them. We had a really funny run
- 21:29Speaker 3: in on the second night, so we only ended up
- 21:32Speaker 3: camping two nights. We were only there for three nights though,
- 21:35Speaker 3: but we had a really funny run in the second night.
- 21:37Speaker 3: We fished like all day until we didn't get back
- 21:40Speaker 3: to the camp until it was dark, and we pulled
- 21:42Speaker 3: up to our campsite and we had a bunch of
- 21:45Speaker 3: stuff like on the picnic table and like under the
- 21:47Speaker 3: picking table on our tent was still there. And we
- 21:49Speaker 3: got back and there was a massive like ram truck
- 21:54Speaker 3: parked in our spot, like backed up to our tent,
- 21:56Speaker 3: and all of our shit on our picnic table was gone.
- 21:59Speaker 2: So we were like all right.
- 22:00Speaker 3: We were like, I think someone took our spot and
- 22:02Speaker 3: then robbed us left the car, and so we're driving
- 22:08Speaker 3: around and we're like we're like, you guys, see anybody
- 22:11Speaker 3: you guys got got any idea whose car this is?
- 22:13Speaker 3: And everyone's like, no, I think it's been here since
- 22:16Speaker 3: this morning. And they're like, but you guys, that's your
- 22:18Speaker 3: guys campsite, right, And we were like, damn right it,
- 22:23Speaker 3: that's our campsite. And we're sitting in the car and
- 22:25Speaker 3: Bo's like, are you guys ready to like fight? He
- 22:28Speaker 3: was like, because these why, like these Wyoming people are crazy.
- 22:30Speaker 3: He's like, we might have to, like this might turn
- 22:32Speaker 3: into a brawl. And so I'm like no, I'm like, dude,
- 22:35Speaker 3: there's no fucking way I'm gonna fight. Like, you can
- 22:37Speaker 3: do whatever you gotta do. I'll back you up if.
- 22:38Speaker 1: I have to, Bud, how are you going to back
- 22:41Speaker 1: them up?
- 22:41Speaker 3: I have my blade on me Okay, of course, yeah,
- 22:44Speaker 3: I have my blade on my hip. That's the best
- 22:46Speaker 3: part about going to Wi Homing the best. Keep the
- 22:51Speaker 3: blade on, that's awesome. It makes you feel like a
- 22:56Speaker 3: man just walking around with it, Like we're in a
- 22:58Speaker 3: grocery stores with a blamee eight on your hip. But
- 23:02Speaker 3: it's like everyone else has like a gun on their hips,
- 23:04Speaker 3: so it's like you don't feel bad about it. But
- 23:07Speaker 3: h So we're sitting there, We're like, right outside the campsite,
- 23:11Speaker 3: We're about to go get out of the car and
- 23:13Speaker 3: go confront this dude and this this lady walking her dog.
- 23:19Speaker 3: It starts like walking up the hill and we're sitting
- 23:22Speaker 3: there and and.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Bo's like, whose car is this?
- 23:26Speaker 3: She's like it's mine. It's like it's my car, and
- 23:30Speaker 3: we're like, well, this is our campsite. And she goes,
- 23:31Speaker 3: well you have to pay to stay here, and we
- 23:34Speaker 3: were like ah, And then it turned out Bo book
- 23:37Speaker 3: the throng dates.
- 23:39Speaker 2: No, yeah, it was all our fault. No. Yeah, so wait,
- 23:43Speaker 2: she parked did she run the camp she runs? She
- 23:46Speaker 2: parked there as a message.
- 23:49Speaker 3: She parked there to be like, because she thought we
- 23:51Speaker 3: were just showing up and not paying.
- 23:52Speaker 2: No, I know, but that's her way of dealing with that.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Yeah, because she was kind of far down. So if
- 23:58Speaker 3: we didn't, if like we just went back to our campsite,
- 24:00Speaker 3: she would never saw us.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Oh, so she was hanging around to collect payment from
- 24:04Speaker 2: you guys.
- 24:05Speaker 3: She was like assuming that we were gonna come back
- 24:07Speaker 3: because our tent was there. And then we came back,
- 24:09Speaker 3: she probably saw her car and then.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Just walked up and did you end up paying her? Yeah?
- 24:12Speaker 3: She was very friendly, but it was very funny, Like
- 24:14Speaker 3: our energy going into it was like we're about to
- 24:16Speaker 3: beat the fuck out of something sado and this lady
- 24:18Speaker 3: shows up and we were like, get whoever's truck this season,
- 24:21Speaker 3: get him to move. It was like I said, when
- 24:32Speaker 3: we were going through the process, I was like, I
- 24:34Speaker 3: got a strong feeling that we're in the wrong here.
- 24:37Speaker 3: I was like, this doesn't seem like something that just
- 24:39Speaker 3: happens regularly.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Well, she couldn't just take your payment from the other
- 24:42Speaker 1: days and like transfer it.
- 24:44Speaker 3: It was like we were because we changed the trip
- 24:47Speaker 3: dates so many times, so like we had one day
- 24:50Speaker 3: reserved instead of three. But it was it wasn't a
- 24:52Speaker 3: big deal.
- 24:53Speaker 2: We just paid her. How much was it per night?
- 24:55Speaker 3: It was like twenty bucks?
- 24:56Speaker 2: Yeah, you gave her cash. Yeah, that's good. And was
- 25:00Speaker 2: she cute?
- 25:01Speaker 3: She was like ninety five? Really, so was she cute
- 25:04Speaker 3: if that's what you're into, Yeah, for ninety five?
- 25:07Speaker 1: Like did she look good for ninety five? But uh,
- 25:09Speaker 1: what happened to all your food that was out? Like
- 25:11Speaker 1: you said, all this stuff on your picnic table, wasn't
- 25:13Speaker 1: she she.
- 25:14Speaker 3: Brought it all down to her campsite. Really, yeah, we
- 25:16Speaker 3: had to bring it all back up.
- 25:18Speaker 1: What like, what was it?
- 25:19Speaker 6: Chairs?
- 25:20Speaker 3: Headlamps?
- 25:22Speaker 1: Threw it on her pickup truck and was holding it
- 25:24Speaker 1: hostage for dollars. What the fuck?
- 25:28Speaker 3: Yeah, just take your loss, lady.
- 25:30Speaker 1: For twenty dollars. She was gonna take all your shit. Yeah,
- 25:33Speaker 1: it's take one chair that's worth twenty dollars.
- 25:36Speaker 3: It was fucked. And then the second day and then
- 25:38Speaker 3: I was like giving bo a hard time. I was like,
- 25:40Speaker 3: of course you booked the wrong fucking He was like, well,
- 25:42Speaker 3: it was really confusing, Like like I thought if we
- 25:45Speaker 3: had until this day, he thought that like check out day,
- 25:48Speaker 3: and then you still have it that night?
- 25:50Speaker 2: Oh god?
- 25:51Speaker 3: And I was like no. I was like, it sounds
- 25:52Speaker 3: like you guys have just never been to a hotel.
- 25:56Speaker 3: So I'm giving them all this shit about that, right,
- 25:58Speaker 3: I'm like, you guys have never been in a hotel, Like,
- 26:00Speaker 3: how do you not know how to do this? And
- 26:02Speaker 3: then we the last night we stayed in like a
- 26:04Speaker 3: lodge slash hotel that was like right by where we
- 26:07Speaker 3: were fishing, and I booked it that night, booked the
- 26:10Speaker 3: wrong dates.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Did you make the same mistake? Same mistake? No way?
- 26:17Speaker 3: And dude, So so we check in, We're like because
- 26:20Speaker 3: we went and ate dinner there and we were all
- 26:22Speaker 3: so tired, and I was like, I'm just gonna get
- 26:24Speaker 3: us our room. I was like, I can't camp tonight.
- 26:26Speaker 2: And so you were planning when you went to dinner,
- 26:30Speaker 2: you guys were planning to camp again.
- 26:32Speaker 3: That I had already made up my mind hours prior.
- 26:34Speaker 3: I just hadn't let the fellows know.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Because they don't they then they'd fight you on it.
- 26:39Speaker 3: No, No, they wouldn't care. They were like they were definitely
- 26:41Speaker 3: down to not camp because everyone wanted to shower before
- 26:43Speaker 3: we flew home.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Yes, would you guys get at dinner or what was it?
- 26:47Speaker 1: I feel like a lodge like that probably had some
- 26:49Speaker 1: nice trout or maybe.
- 26:52Speaker 3: That's what you would think. Medison went with the burger
- 26:54Speaker 3: easily the worst cheeseburger.
- 26:56Speaker 1: I've ever had, And that's almost impossible, dude.
- 26:58Speaker 3: You always think like I always think that those like
- 27:01Speaker 3: you're like that happened last year too. When it's like
- 27:03Speaker 3: you're post fishing and you're like, let's check out this
- 27:05Speaker 3: little mom and pop shop. This is gonna be I mean,
- 27:07Speaker 3: this might be the best, This might be like a
- 27:09Speaker 3: hidden gem of the West, and then you go in
- 27:11Speaker 3: You're like, this fucking sucks.
- 27:14Speaker 2: They haven't replenished their inventory from their freezer room in
- 27:19Speaker 2: seventeen years.
- 27:20Speaker 3: It was literally like no one said anything. And then
- 27:23Speaker 3: the second we left, we were all like, thatt burner
- 27:25Speaker 3: fucking sucks.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Everybody got burned.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, So then how many rooms did you get? So?
- 27:32Speaker 3: I got one room with two beds, and they I
- 27:36Speaker 3: get my own bed, of course, and but so so
- 27:39Speaker 3: I go to check in at the front desk, they split.
- 27:41Speaker 2: The other bed. Yeah.
- 27:42Speaker 3: So I got a check and get a cot a
- 27:45Speaker 3: cot yeah, now a roll away. No, this is a
- 27:49Speaker 3: tiny hotel.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Head to toe, no, cuddled up.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Comfortable with our sexuality.
- 27:56Speaker 2: But were beds? Were they queens or were they double queens? Wow?
- 28:00Speaker 2: Those big boys in a queen.
- 28:01Speaker 3: Twenty two Jump.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Street was on.
- 28:04Speaker 3: That's fun surprisingly good movie. I remember that movie being
- 28:07Speaker 3: that funny than the first one.
- 28:09Speaker 2: It's funny.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Twenty two is that twenty two decent.
- 28:12Speaker 2: When they're tripping on when they're tripping on the Oh,
- 28:15Speaker 2: it's the one in college. Yeah, it's the college one.
- 28:17Speaker 1: I had a kids.
- 28:19Speaker 3: It's the The twenty three is maybe one of the
- 28:22Speaker 3: worst movies ever.
- 28:23Speaker 1: They went they made it threequel?
- 28:24Speaker 2: I think right that one?
- 28:27Speaker 3: Did they don't or maybe that was just a running.
- 28:29Speaker 1: Joke twenty three Jump Street.
- 28:33Speaker 3: I think they did.
- 28:34Speaker 1: I couldn't be wrong to be a fly on the
- 28:36Speaker 1: fucking wall. I'm curious what kind of sandwiches they were
- 28:39Speaker 1: making during the day. Who's making them? Was a turkey sandwiches?
- 28:42Speaker 1: Salami sandwiches? Because those probably hit so hard. Yeah, in
- 28:45Speaker 1: the middle of the day you finally are like, fucking,
- 28:47Speaker 1: I'll just I was waiting till eleven thirty. I'll have
- 28:49Speaker 1: my sandwich, had.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Eleven soft sandwich bread, little Mayo.
- 28:53Speaker 3: There is twenty three Jump Street. There is, There isn't
- 28:56Speaker 3: no So that's why it's the worst movie of all time, right,
- 28:58Speaker 3: that doesn't exist zero, So tell us.
- 29:03Speaker 2: About this so bad they removed every coffee in circulation. Sandwiches, Yeah, yeah.
- 29:10Speaker 1: We need to know about this. What kind of what
- 29:11Speaker 1: kind of sandwiches were you guys making turkey and cheese?
- 29:14Speaker 1: And they hit?
- 29:15Speaker 3: Now, they were awful.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Man.
- 29:17Speaker 3: I'll tell you what really hit was the second night
- 29:19Speaker 3: we had we bought a ship ton of hot dogs
- 29:22Speaker 3: and sausages and we were like, we gotta eat them
- 29:24Speaker 3: all tonight because this is our last night that we're
- 29:26Speaker 3: gonna camp. Yeah, and uh, we ate them all and
- 29:33Speaker 3: it was. I mean, I'm like, I think I had
- 29:36Speaker 3: like three hot dogs? Uh two? What are those like?
- 29:42Speaker 3: What are like the white hot.
- 29:43Speaker 1: Dogsbasas polish sausage something like that. I don't know.
- 29:48Speaker 3: Brat brought words, brought, brought, brought.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Yeah, we did.
- 29:52Speaker 3: I had two brats that are.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Solid an Italian so six six sausages.
- 29:58Speaker 3: It was around five or six per man.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Oh my god, So you had eating all day.
- 30:02Speaker 3: So it's like you take that down in like thirty seconds.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Did did you guys roast them over a fire or
- 30:08Speaker 2: did you put them on a grill?
- 30:09Speaker 3: The dogs we did over charcoal, over charco rill thrill.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Oh, not over the open flame of the fire.
- 30:16Speaker 3: But it wasn't like an actual It was just a
- 30:18Speaker 3: platform to put charcoal on.
- 30:21Speaker 2: But again, you didn't you didn't have them over a fire,
- 30:24Speaker 2: like a nice fire that you had going.
- 30:25Speaker 3: We had a fire going, but we know we didn't
- 30:27Speaker 3: cook them with that.
- 30:28Speaker 1: It would have been nice to just put like put
- 30:30Speaker 1: a stick through the center.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Of a dog like a marshmallow.
- 30:33Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what you think. More like then you have
- 30:36Speaker 3: stick in your dog.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Your dog. That's literally what a corn dog is. They
- 30:43Speaker 1: put a stick in the dog.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Yeah, they put dog in the stick.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Put the dog in the stick. It sounds so nice.
- 30:50Speaker 2: It was a good time.
- 30:50Speaker 3: It was fun.
- 30:51Speaker 1: It was were you guys sitting during the day, like
- 30:52Speaker 1: when you're at the river for fourteen hours seven to
- 30:57Speaker 1: nine or did you like sit down, did you bring
- 30:59Speaker 1: chairs like or do you just you stood for fourteen hours.
- 31:03Speaker 3: The first day, what we did was we got to
- 31:05Speaker 3: the river and then we fished for like probably like
- 31:08Speaker 3: four hours, and then we went back to the car
- 31:10Speaker 3: and had lunch, and then went and fished another location.
- 31:14Speaker 2: You guys ate in the car, No, we ate like outside, okay, And.
- 31:19Speaker 3: And then the second day we were getting just fucked.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Every place we went to was either filled up with
- 31:26Speaker 3: people or the water was super low, so we didn't
- 31:30Speaker 3: get to like a good spot until late and then
- 31:33Speaker 3: we had lunch then when we got there so we
- 31:36Speaker 3: wouldn't have to come back, and then we went out
- 31:38Speaker 3: for the rest of the night.
- 31:40Speaker 2: And then the.
- 31:42Speaker 3: Last day when we had to go into town, we
- 31:45Speaker 3: went in and then we came back and we brought lunch.
- 31:48Speaker 3: So the last day was like literally the like we
- 31:51Speaker 3: the walk back to the car from where we where
- 31:55Speaker 3: we ended fishing was like an hour. We were we
- 31:59Speaker 3: were mott we we covered like ten miles of river.
- 32:02Speaker 1: You're just dead.
- 32:03Speaker 3: Yeah, that's bro. Actually had to run back to the
- 32:06Speaker 3: car because we were going to be late to get
- 32:08Speaker 3: to the place for dinner, so he could get the car.
- 32:11Speaker 1: So get yeah, damn.
- 32:14Speaker 3: And he ran like uphill at like ten thousand feet
- 32:18Speaker 3: and then he showed up to the car and there
- 32:20Speaker 3: was not a single drop of sweat on him. And
- 32:22Speaker 3: it was like he ran for like fifteen minutes, wait,
- 32:25Speaker 3: flying through the woods.
- 32:26Speaker 2: So you're saying he ran ahead, got the car and
- 32:29Speaker 2: then brought it to the guys. Yeah, and when he
- 32:31Speaker 2: got to you, he was not sweating.
- 32:33Speaker 3: It was zero out of breath.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Was he running in.
- 32:35Speaker 3: Boots in full fishing gear?
- 32:37Speaker 2: Oh? I love him.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Stud. Here's the one who's doing push up.
- 32:43Speaker 3: He was doing push ups at the airport.
- 32:44Speaker 2: You sent me the picture of that, and I thought,
- 32:46Speaker 2: this guy is my brother.
- 32:47Speaker 3: It was so funny.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Yes, he might be more you than you dide.
- 32:51Speaker 2: We better I aspire to be.
- 32:53Speaker 3: Well because the first night was just nothing but disaster.
- 32:56Speaker 3: I don't even know if I told you about that.
- 32:57Speaker 3: How we didn't get in like everything was to eight.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Also, have you guys.
- 33:01Speaker 3: Ever been on a CRJ two hundred, Yes, they should
- 33:04Speaker 3: be illegal. I mean, what the fuck is that. That's
- 33:07Speaker 3: the smallest fucking plane I've ever seen.
- 33:09Speaker 2: I took one of those uh in Idaho once and
- 33:13Speaker 2: every member of my family threw up in the plane.
- 33:15Speaker 3: Dude, I'd take it. We'd take it twice.
- 33:17Speaker 2: We threw all threw up so much that my sister
- 33:20Speaker 2: by the time she started throwing up, there were no
- 33:23Speaker 2: more barf bags left. Yeah, and she just threw up
- 33:26Speaker 2: into her shirt.
- 33:27Speaker 3: That's insane.
- 33:28Speaker 2: The way I used to pick up tennis balls. Tennis
- 33:30Speaker 2: doesn't that bad.
- 33:32Speaker 3: It's like, you know the Delta Connections flights from here
- 33:35Speaker 3: to Boston. Yeah, that's a CRJ nine hundred, and this is.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Probably a quarter of the size.
- 33:42Speaker 3: Yeah, it's dude, Like even just how low it is
- 33:44Speaker 3: to the like the the you see the people putting
- 33:47Speaker 3: the bags in, they're above the wings. Their heads are
- 33:50Speaker 3: like five feet above the wing. Yea, you feel every
- 33:54Speaker 3: single bump.
- 33:55Speaker 1: That is the worst feeling. I mean, I feel like
- 33:58Speaker 1: I've been on shittier planes that well.
- 34:00Speaker 3: You definitely have. I mean when you went to the Bahamas.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Yeah, like there's like going to Yeah, but this is
- 34:07Speaker 1: also you got in Africa, like the tiny ass planes
- 34:10Speaker 1: in Africa, the fucking tiny ass planes in Uh.
- 34:13Speaker 3: Something else, James is you're flying through the mountains.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Oh, the turbulence is great.
- 34:19Speaker 3: Turbulence isn't like do the landing?
- 34:22Speaker 1: Are you scared?
- 34:24Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 34:24Speaker 1: Did you?
- 34:25Speaker 3: Did?
- 34:25Speaker 1: You let the boys know how terrified you were?
- 34:27Speaker 3: You got headphones in.
- 34:30Speaker 2: Uh. There's there's always like a plane that crashes in
- 34:35Speaker 2: the mountains, and.
- 34:36Speaker 3: Then there's like there's a kind of American airlines crashed
- 34:39Speaker 3: the other day.
- 34:39Speaker 2: It wasn't there. There was the one of the I
- 34:43Speaker 2: think it was like out of Vancouver or something like that,
- 34:46Speaker 2: where there was like a girls soccer team traveling and
- 34:49Speaker 2: they crash.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Yeah, they landed in the woods and they had to
- 34:52Speaker 3: eat each other.
- 34:53Speaker 2: You heard about that.
- 34:54Speaker 1: It's all over the news. They made that documentary on it.
- 34:59Speaker 3: Fuck man, did you guys ever watch you do referencing
- 35:01Speaker 3: Yellow Jackets?
- 35:03Speaker 2: Oh, you're right, I'm thinking of Yellow jack Did you
- 35:04Speaker 2: actually watch that show? I tried. I couldn't.
- 35:07Speaker 3: I don't even know how, you know.
- 35:08Speaker 2: I watched like two or three episodes and then I
- 35:11Speaker 2: was like.
- 35:11Speaker 1: I've never seen a show that gets worse every minute, dude,
- 35:14Speaker 1: it is every minute.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Never.
- 35:18Speaker 3: From the first shot of the show on, it gets worse.
- 35:21Speaker 2: It's such a good premise and then it just turned
- 35:23Speaker 2: into fucking they were I don't know.
- 35:25Speaker 3: I watched the first two seasons and I was like,
- 35:28Speaker 3: by the end of the second one, I was like,
- 35:30Speaker 3: this is pretty dumb.
- 35:31Speaker 1: I can't believe you made it through seconds.
- 35:32Speaker 3: The third season came out, I watched maybe five minutes
- 35:35Speaker 3: of the first episode. They just added girls to the
- 35:37Speaker 3: Woods that weren't there. No, yeah, like out of nowhere,
- 35:41Speaker 3: there's just a whole new cast of girls that appeared
- 35:44Speaker 3: from the Woods.
- 35:44Speaker 2: What the fuck?
- 35:46Speaker 1: And then there's like the girl who's like the main
- 35:49Speaker 1: woman is like she's like a big girl, but she's
- 35:51Speaker 1: like having an affair with like a super hot dude.
- 35:54Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah yeah.
- 35:56Speaker 1: It's like no match. It looks match people.
- 36:00Speaker 2: It's also, by by a year into them being in
- 36:03Speaker 2: the woods, there should not be any big girls left in.
- 36:06Speaker 1: That round, right. The fact that they have persistents, well,
- 36:09Speaker 1: they're just all on the most incredibly disciplined keto diet.
- 36:13Speaker 1: And remember when they find the airplane and like, we're
- 36:17Speaker 1: gonna fly it. Yeah, you're ten that girl.
- 36:22Speaker 3: Remember when the girl destroys the black box.
- 36:26Speaker 2: Vague? Yeah, that was that really earlier.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, why did she do that again?
- 36:30Speaker 3: Because she wants to like hang out with her friends.
- 36:32Speaker 2: Yeah, your entire game plan for soccer was boot it.
- 36:37Speaker 2: How are you guys going to rewire a broken airplane?
- 36:41Speaker 1: It's so funny. That show sucked so much ass.
- 36:45Speaker 2: Yeah, and yet yet Harry watched two seasons and then
- 36:49Speaker 2: started the third.
- 36:50Speaker 3: I watched two seasons of Centers, and I think that
- 36:52Speaker 3: was the center That wasn't.
- 36:55Speaker 2: The first season of the Center wasn't the worst sh.
- 36:57Speaker 3: That show was unbelievable bad.
- 37:00Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 37:01Speaker 3: Actually, didn't that a plot where like the head detective
- 37:04Speaker 3: likes to have his like nails stepped on.
- 37:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't really know why they did that, but
- 37:11Speaker 2: you know, the twist was solid.
- 37:13Speaker 3: Every like detective show has to have some insane, like
- 37:17Speaker 3: sexual deviant head character who like it just doesn't make
- 37:21Speaker 3: sense in the script at all.
- 37:23Speaker 1: It can't be that hard to write those shows.
- 37:25Speaker 3: Do the Looming Tower, he's like three whiles.
- 37:28Speaker 2: That's true.
- 37:28Speaker 3: It was true, but there's they never talk about it.
- 37:31Speaker 2: In the book. That's true. He had multiple families that
- 37:34Speaker 2: FBI agent.
- 37:35Speaker 3: Yeah, but they barely speak, like it's just.
- 37:37Speaker 2: Like flowers to the woman and stuff like that.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's it.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Like now you're complaining that they're not covering that weird
- 37:44Speaker 2: part of his life more.
- 37:46Speaker 3: No, I'm saying, just cut out the whole thing. It
- 37:48Speaker 3: was so irrelevant to the story.
- 37:50Speaker 1: Just give us a good story and then let everybody
- 37:52Speaker 1: watch porn.
- 37:53Speaker 3: Yeah, like, don't put up like maybe do like a
- 37:56Speaker 3: side box in the picture and picture?
- 38:00Speaker 2: Am I wrong in thinking that in the book it
- 38:02Speaker 2: was relevant to the story because he was discredited as
- 38:08Speaker 2: as an agent and he was one of the few
- 38:12Speaker 2: people that was early to the threat that was coming
- 38:16Speaker 2: from Oh, I don't know, and that like, had he
- 38:18Speaker 2: had more credibility that maybe they would have listened to
- 38:21Speaker 2: him and like put more of an eye on Bin Laden.
- 38:23Speaker 3: And yeah, I could see that. I mean it was that.
- 38:26Speaker 2: And then he left the briefcase with all the top
- 38:28Speaker 2: six documents on the train.
- 38:30Speaker 7: Right.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Do you always think that Ben Lawden was a freak
- 38:33Speaker 1: between the sheets? No, no chance. I think he almost
- 38:37Speaker 1: certainly was.
- 38:38Speaker 3: Have you guys seen this, dude?
- 38:39Speaker 2: Have have you talked about this? Wrong?
- 38:41Speaker 3: I think you might have brought up the dude that's
- 38:42Speaker 3: biking to Japan.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Uh.
- 38:46Speaker 1: I talked about the guy Omar Omar knock, the guy
- 38:48Speaker 1: who's like Egypt to Japan without flying.
- 38:51Speaker 2: Do you see Jimmy Graham is rowing to fucking the
- 38:54Speaker 2: North Pole. I am delivering children's notes to Santa Dude.
- 39:00Speaker 3: This dude that's biking to Japan or to Japan from
- 39:04Speaker 3: wherever the fuck is? Uh, it's insane. He was driving
- 39:09Speaker 3: through Afghanistan right now.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Was that the guy who was in Iran or something
- 39:14Speaker 1: like that when we were like bombing Iran. That's a
- 39:16Speaker 1: different guy.
- 39:17Speaker 3: This dude was in Afghanistan yesterday. And the videos that
- 39:20Speaker 3: he's posting are insane, like him biking on the street
- 39:23Speaker 3: and like nine mop heads like literally like here just
- 39:28Speaker 3: yelling at him, videotaping him, and he's like he's like
- 39:32Speaker 3: he turns and he's like, vibes are not good, right,
- 39:39Speaker 3: because like I think he's doing it to show like
- 39:42Speaker 3: I think he's trying to show like people are. And
- 39:47Speaker 3: then he was like started off that one. It's really
- 39:49Speaker 3: like it's actually very interesting to watch.
- 39:51Speaker 2: But Julia went to Afghanistan for a similar premise. Yeah,
- 39:55Speaker 2: And then was basically held captive by the Taliban. Yeah,
- 40:00Speaker 2: a night and came away with a very similar feeling.
- 40:03Speaker 3: Yeah, that's pretty much like he at the end. At
- 40:07Speaker 3: the beginning of the video, he's like, I'm he's telling
- 40:09Speaker 3: people he's American, and then at the end he's like,
- 40:11Speaker 3: I'm keeping where I'm from pretty close to the chest.
- 40:14Speaker 3: I don't know why you wouldn't just lead with idiately.
- 40:17Speaker 3: I was like, why didn't just lead Canadian? Yeah, but
- 40:21Speaker 3: they probably they checked, Like, dude, the Taliban checks your passport.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Yeah, get the fucking Canadian passport. Dude, get the f
- 40:28Speaker 1: seine fake passport.
- 40:29Speaker 3: I mean that's ballsy. Is it ballsy or is it
- 40:32Speaker 3: dum dumb?
- 40:34Speaker 1: It's dumb as hell, like trying to show the humanity
- 40:38Speaker 1: of someone or something that you haven't confirmed the humanity of, Yeah,
- 40:43Speaker 1: is weird, Like you should know that you're gonna like
- 40:46Speaker 1: have safe passage just being like no, like yeah, it's weirdly.
- 40:50Speaker 3: Like, well, it's like a weird assumption that like, like
- 40:54Speaker 3: I feel like because the Israel Palestine stuff, like people
- 40:56Speaker 3: are like the people that are like pro Palestine, which
- 40:59Speaker 3: I think is most people. It's like the Hammas. But
- 41:01Speaker 3: it's like Hamas is still not good. So it's like
- 41:05Speaker 3: the like I think people are, like, well, who knows
- 41:08Speaker 3: if the Taliban's bad, right, Like, I don't know, it
- 41:11Speaker 3: could be American.
- 41:13Speaker 2: To Ron's point of like, if I were to ever
- 41:15Speaker 2: do like, these people aren't as bad as you think
- 41:18Speaker 2: I would do it with like the Danish. Yeah, I
- 41:22Speaker 2: mean here I am in Copenhagen. You know a lot
- 41:23Speaker 2: of people think that the Danes are kind of a
- 41:26Speaker 2: little standoffice. But from what I've found, as long as
- 41:29Speaker 2: you crack through that icy exterior, they're quite convivial. Damn.
- 41:35Speaker 1: Convivial is so good.
- 41:36Speaker 2: I've got pickup soccer later.
- 41:38Speaker 5: When cool creamy Ranch meets tangy bold Buffalo, the whole
- 41:43Speaker 5: is greater than the sum of it. Sauce, say howdy,

- 43:20Speaker 2: James time?
- 43:22Speaker 1: Like my boy used to or a dude I met
- 43:25Speaker 1: in Ethiopia, a friend of a friend was like his
- 43:28Speaker 1: dream was to make the trek from Ethiopia down the
- 43:33Speaker 1: east coast of Africa to South Africa. But he says,
- 43:36Speaker 1: it's like the most dangerous trek that you can make,
- 43:39Speaker 1: regardless of who you are, where you're from. You go
- 43:42Speaker 1: through so many like dissident factions, small governments, rebel groups
- 43:47Speaker 1: that no matter you're gonna run into, you're gonna hit static,
- 43:51Speaker 1: no matter what, you're gonna get killed, no matter who
- 43:53Speaker 1: you are.
- 43:54Speaker 2: If he's on the coast, right, is that what he
- 43:56Speaker 2: said he was gonna do, Yeah, then he'd be going
- 43:59Speaker 2: through like northern Mozambique, which is really bad.
- 44:02Speaker 3: This guy's going through Russia.
- 44:05Speaker 2: And I would take my chances, even as an American
- 44:09Speaker 2: in Russia right now? Over that trip that Roan is
- 44:13Speaker 2: talking about.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Yeah, that is insane, Like a lion shouldn't do that trip.
- 44:19Speaker 2: Yeah, what's the worst that can happen in Russia? What
- 44:22Speaker 2: happened to Britney Grinder? They put her in a cell
- 44:24Speaker 2: that like her head she looked like a giraffe poking
- 44:27Speaker 2: her head out of the top. I used to do
- 44:29Speaker 2: a joke about that.
- 44:29Speaker 1: By the way, that's hilarious. The Brittany Grinder does everything
- 44:36Speaker 1: she can to present as a dude. Mm hm is
- 44:39Speaker 1: that fucked up to say? I feel like she like
- 44:41Speaker 1: very consciously wants to be like no, like I don't
- 44:43Speaker 1: have titties and my voice is super and so it's
- 44:47Speaker 1: like if you're Russian and you're like, yeah, she's like
- 44:50Speaker 1: bigger than all of us, Like this is a threat.
- 44:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I can see it.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Lock her up.
- 44:56Speaker 3: I mean, getting locked up in a foreign country, regardless
- 44:59Speaker 3: of the kind, would be terrible. Yeah, And this dude's
- 45:03Speaker 3: gonna get locked up either in Afghanistan or Russia.
- 45:08Speaker 1: I rather, I guess Russia.
- 45:11Speaker 3: So Afghanistan is completely run by the Taliban, right, correct,
- 45:14Speaker 3: It's crazy.
- 45:15Speaker 2: That's their government. Yeah, yeah, because we pulled out. Yeah,
- 45:20Speaker 2: but I mean that was kind of the case before
- 45:23Speaker 2: we went in too. Yeah.
- 45:25Speaker 3: The Taliban, Yeah, in the nineties.
- 45:28Speaker 1: The name just sounds like we just have this automatic
- 45:31Speaker 1: correlation with the name Taliban. That's like the spooky thing,
- 45:34Speaker 1: as opposed to the word cinnamon bun, which has a correlation.
- 45:38Speaker 1: You think of cinnamon bun, it's like one of the
- 45:40Speaker 1: most beautiful words in the English language.
- 45:42Speaker 3: What did the Taliban do? What if they have what
- 45:45Speaker 3: if text did they do? They didn't do nothing.
- 45:47Speaker 2: They're not a terrorist group in theory right, They're an
- 45:53Speaker 2: Islamic police force and they were formed really when the
- 46:00Speaker 2: Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan in the late eighties, I'm pretty sure.
- 46:05Speaker 1: And who armed them?
- 46:06Speaker 2: We did exactly armed everybody. We gave them the weapons.
- 46:11Speaker 2: There's a great movie about it that about that senator
- 46:14Speaker 2: what was his name? What's the name? That Tom Hanks
- 46:16Speaker 2: plays him. It's a good movie. Philip Seymour Hoffman's in it.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Joe something, Joe Scarborough, who's the old one?
- 46:30Speaker 2: Joe Just the movie with Tom Hanks about the US
- 46:34Speaker 2: congressman or senator who deals with the Soviet Union. Charlie
- 46:41Speaker 2: Wilson's Wars a good movie. Actually I never even heard
- 46:44Speaker 2: of it. Should watch that to check it out. And
- 46:46Speaker 2: then it was through that through the Afghanist Afghany freedom
- 46:51Speaker 2: fighters resisting the Soviet Union, that they basically formed a
- 46:55Speaker 2: militant group that became the Taliban.
- 46:58Speaker 1: What they need is is they need to get a
- 47:01Speaker 1: consulting firm like Accenture in there to give them an
- 47:05Speaker 1: image revamp. And I think even if they just changed
- 47:08Speaker 1: the colors of their flag, it would do wonders for them.
- 47:12Speaker 1: I think their flag is just so ominous looking. It's
- 47:15Speaker 1: just a black flag with a little cursive white riding.
- 47:19Speaker 1: So that's isis, Yeah, that's isis. Yeah, So what's the
- 47:22Speaker 1: Taliban flag?
- 47:23Speaker 2: Ius went with the Arabic equivalent of the skull and crossbones,
- 47:27Speaker 2: which to me is pretty spooky. Yeah, it's like, oh
- 47:31Speaker 2: the nw A Yeah, yeah, they came out that he
- 47:35Speaker 2: came That could be like on like a on like
- 47:39Speaker 2: a Supreme shirt, the box logo.
- 47:44Speaker 1: Imagine just wearing that the Taliban flag.
- 47:48Speaker 2: If you wear the logo upside down, it means you're
- 47:50Speaker 2: not for it. It's cool, you appreciate the street art
- 47:53Speaker 2: element of it.
- 47:54Speaker 1: It's actually sick. Yeah, Okay, so maybe they already had
- 47:57Speaker 1: eccentric come through.
- 47:58Speaker 2: Do you guys remember during that time when they were
- 48:01Speaker 2: like it seemed like every six months there was a
- 48:03Speaker 2: story of like some nineteen year old British girl who
- 48:06Speaker 2: had like fallen in love with some yes nice this
- 48:10Speaker 2: guy and went over there. Yeah, and like went over
- 48:14Speaker 2: there because she was like, well, you know, I kind
- 48:16Speaker 2: of get their side. And then like three months later
- 48:20Speaker 2: it's like, oh my god, what have I done? We
- 48:24Speaker 2: need to get there's a fund me to get it back.
- 48:28Speaker 2: And then and then half the country be like we
- 48:30Speaker 2: don't want her back. It's like, dude, she's nineteen. Remember that.
- 48:35Speaker 2: What you haven't fallen for a terrorist recruitment video on
- 48:38Speaker 2: YouTube before?
- 48:39Speaker 1: Come on, man, I clicked on the Google, I searched it,
- 48:43Speaker 1: and then I clicked on shopping to see if you
- 48:46Speaker 1: could buy a talent band flag and there's no, there's
- 48:48Speaker 1: just nothing there. Not surprised by that they wiped it.
- 48:51Speaker 1: You can't. You can't even buy a talent.
- 48:53Speaker 2: Have to be like a customer. Is now a listening
- 48:55Speaker 2: device for.
- 48:56Speaker 1: Absolutely you definitely just made a list wait to get
- 48:58Speaker 1: a fucking nice rip brow riff just in case the
- 49:02Speaker 1: audio cuts out on our recording.
- 49:04Speaker 2: We now have your phone.
- 49:07Speaker 1: Someone's giggling with the N s A. Right now, Julio
- 49:12Speaker 1: can break bread with them. I can't just wave the flag.
- 49:16Speaker 2: Have you ever heard his full story of that night. No,
- 49:20Speaker 2: I think I watched the video. We did it on
- 49:22Speaker 2: our pod and when he came back. I mean, it's
- 49:26Speaker 2: it is. It's one of those things where I'm like,
- 49:28Speaker 2: I can't believe you lived through that experience and kept
- 49:31Speaker 2: your composure.
- 49:32Speaker 3: Were they like friendly to him?
- 49:34Speaker 2: It's like a for it's like a forced friendliness, like
- 49:39Speaker 2: you need to accept and be friendly to us, because
- 49:44Speaker 2: we are all going to play nice around this pretend
- 49:48Speaker 2: thing that we're not that bad. Yeah, we don't hate
- 49:52Speaker 2: America or whatever. But he he said he entered into this.
- 49:56Speaker 2: They he was pulled over driving way up north and
- 50:00Speaker 2: they forced them to turn around and come back to
- 50:03Speaker 2: their commander's house, yeah, which was like hours back in
- 50:07Speaker 2: the other direction. And they brought him in and he
- 50:10Speaker 2: came into the house and they went into one room,
- 50:13Speaker 2: and then they went and sat in another room or something,
- 50:15Speaker 2: and he said in that second room, he said, there
- 50:18Speaker 2: were more weapons than he'd ever seen, like big guns, RPGs. Yeah, sure,
- 50:23Speaker 2: like you know, gatling guns like all kinds of crazy shit.
- 50:28Speaker 1: And I also think that they had different relationships with
- 50:30Speaker 1: weapons though, Like you can get like weapons at like
- 50:33Speaker 1: the Bizarre next to like raw meat and fabrics.
- 50:36Speaker 2: Yeah, well a lot of the weapons when the Soviet
- 50:39Speaker 2: Union collapsed ended up filtering through. You could buy eight
- 50:42Speaker 2: k's from like your house. Yeah, that movie Lord of
- 50:47Speaker 2: War really does good drugs. Oh, it's that one too.
- 50:52Speaker 2: Lord of War is really good to movie. It's the
- 50:55Speaker 2: Nicholas Cage. Have you guys seen Lord of War? Now?
- 51:00Speaker 1: Unbelievable in these movies that I'm like, I traded for
- 51:03Speaker 1: Britney Griner, Is that right? Pretty sure?
- 51:07Speaker 3: Oh yeah, the Lord of War.
- 51:09Speaker 1: Yeah Victory, Yeah, that is.
- 51:11Speaker 3: Who we traded for, Britney Griner.
- 51:13Speaker 2: Oh, the guy who's the war Lord.
- 51:15Speaker 3: Yeah, no, that was I think that was his nickname,
- 51:17Speaker 3: was the Lord of War.
- 51:18Speaker 1: I think so maybe like the Lord of Death or.
- 51:20Speaker 3: Something like that. Yeah, yeah, the Merchant of Death.
- 51:25Speaker 2: That's from Iron Man. Yeah, so he was.
- 51:31Speaker 1: So he got brought into the other room.
- 51:33Speaker 2: They have a bunch of weapsites and they just had
- 51:34Speaker 2: like a sit down and talk and then I think
- 51:37Speaker 2: the way out, they speak English. I think they had
- 51:42Speaker 2: a translator.
- 51:42Speaker 1: What's your job? Stand up? Yeah, tell us a joke yeah.
- 51:47Speaker 2: And then on their way out, they had searched through
- 51:51Speaker 2: his stuff and he had a bag in which was
- 51:56Speaker 2: an envelope that had I think ten thousand dollars of cash,
- 52:00Speaker 2: and they pulled it out and they were like, hey,
- 52:04Speaker 2: we have an issue. And one of them I think,
- 52:08Speaker 2: I think I don't want to butcher the story, but
- 52:11Speaker 2: one of them hinted to Julia that they expected a
- 52:15Speaker 2: gift but they couldn't ask for it because I think
- 52:20Speaker 2: it's against Islamic law or like it has to be
- 52:25Speaker 2: a donation. Yeah, And he's like, ah, fuck, I'm gonna
- 52:28Speaker 2: have to give him the whole envelope. And I think
- 52:30Speaker 2: that they like pulled out one one dollar bill and
- 52:34Speaker 2: we're like, okay, go on your way, damn. And he
- 52:37Speaker 2: was like, holy shit, that's all something like.
- 52:39Speaker 3: I would have been like I would have been like,
- 52:40Speaker 3: I brought I brought the envelope for you guys. Yeah,
- 52:43Speaker 3: I'm glad you found it.
- 52:48Speaker 2: What money?
- 52:50Speaker 3: Oh I watched I would just bring that envelope and
- 52:52Speaker 3: with a right on sharpiefore the Taliban that to the
- 52:56Speaker 3: isis logo, Bess I could.
- 53:00Speaker 2: Yeah. I watched a lot of movies over the last
- 53:05Speaker 2: three or four nights. Yeah, I don't know where. I
- 53:08Speaker 2: just got onto a movie. Kick.
- 53:09Speaker 3: I watched hurt Locker.
- 53:11Speaker 2: Do you mind, I'm gonna do my movie.
- 53:13Speaker 3: While we're on the topic of war.
- 53:14Speaker 2: I just gotta let that go. That's fine. What do
- 53:16Speaker 2: you think it is good? I find it dissatisfying.
- 53:21Speaker 1: I love it, but I think that's probably intention.
- 53:23Speaker 2: It is the point.
- 53:23Speaker 3: Yeah, the ending when he's back out there chills.
- 53:29Speaker 1: The best scene in that movie, though, is when the
- 53:31Speaker 1: guy is fucking his or they put the movie in
- 53:34Speaker 1: and the guy's.
- 53:35Speaker 2: Like, jar head, jar head.
- 53:39Speaker 3: That's a fucking banger. I think jar Heads better than
- 53:41Speaker 3: hurt Locker.
- 53:43Speaker 2: The best scene in hurt Locker is when they're they're
- 53:46Speaker 2: getting attacked by the sniper. Yeah, and he has to
- 53:49Speaker 2: like teach the other guy how to snipe. Yeah, the
- 53:54Speaker 2: guy who's not the sniper. He gives him the gun.
- 53:57Speaker 2: How do you just watched this?
- 53:58Speaker 3: Well, because I think you might have that mixed up.
- 54:00Speaker 2: Is this a different movie?
- 54:02Speaker 3: No, he does know how to snipe though, Wait he doesn't.
- 54:05Speaker 2: Ye, he does. Black Dude I thought the black dude
- 54:09Speaker 2: was spotting for him. No, he's spotting Jeremy Renner is
- 54:13Speaker 2: spotting for the black dude. But I don't think the black.
- 54:15Speaker 3: Guy is Black guy is a massively famous actor too.
- 54:19Speaker 2: It's a good guy from Arcanes. He's the angel guy from.
- 54:22Speaker 3: Iron instead of referring it to to Jeremy and the
- 54:25Speaker 3: black guy.
- 54:27Speaker 1: But you don't know who he is either.
- 54:28Speaker 3: I want to pull up his name.
- 54:30Speaker 1: Well, until.
- 54:35Speaker 2: We weren't in trouble, until I said, Jeremy render, if
- 54:38Speaker 2: we left all the actors name, then it would have
- 54:41Speaker 2: been fine.
- 54:44Speaker 3: You know, you know the other rest of the and
- 54:47Speaker 3: it's Anthony Mackie's so famous, who knows how to snipe?
- 54:54Speaker 3: It's the sure yeah. But because he immediately goes for
- 54:57Speaker 3: the sniper for.
- 54:59Speaker 2: Some reason, I thought he I was trained and they
- 55:01Speaker 2: were like, you're the best bet we have here.
- 55:03Speaker 3: I think that scene is so huge because that's a
- 55:05Speaker 3: scene where Jeremy is like he brings the squad together,
- 55:10Speaker 3: like he becomes the leader. Well okay, and like everyone's
- 55:15Speaker 3: dying around them and he's like completely closed right right,
- 55:19Speaker 3: Such a banger, Okay.
- 55:20Speaker 2: Can I tell you a couple of good movies. These
- 55:22Speaker 2: are really good RECs. And by the way, I've already
- 55:24Speaker 2: named a couple that you need to see because I
- 55:26Speaker 2: know you haven't seen them. Okay, so with Jeff D.
- 55:28Speaker 2: Lowe's help. By the way, honestly one of our best
- 55:31Speaker 2: resources at Barstols.
- 55:32Speaker 3: I'll use that app all the time.
- 55:34Speaker 1: It's not just the app.
- 55:35Speaker 2: Go go check out the app or the website, the website,
- 55:40Speaker 2: Lights Camera, Barstool Movie Database.
- 55:42Speaker 3: It's like a movie generator.
- 55:43Speaker 2: It's really really good. And my favorite part is like,
- 55:45Speaker 2: if you like this movie, you might like these ones.
- 55:47Speaker 2: These are similar movies. But I checked that first and
- 55:50Speaker 2: then I said it, and then I just text Jeff
- 55:52Speaker 2: and I say, I need a good action movie. I
- 55:54Speaker 2: really want to watch a good action movie. He goes, Dude,
- 55:57Speaker 2: Rebel Ridge.
- 55:59Speaker 3: Oh yeah, Ridge fucking rule.
- 56:01Speaker 2: Did you see Rebel Ride?
- 56:02Speaker 3: That movie was on when he's biking.
- 56:05Speaker 2: Okay, that scene sucked.
- 56:07Speaker 3: That scene was awesome.
- 56:10Speaker 2: Was the corniest scene the bus. I almost turned it
- 56:14Speaker 2: off after that scene. And I'm very glad I stuck
- 56:16Speaker 2: with that's crazy. What are you talking about. Nobody can
- 56:18Speaker 2: bike by a bus. He can, He's a mountain bike.
- 56:21Speaker 2: He's not even on a road.
- 56:22Speaker 3: Ridge can no way. Man, The inmates are pounding on
- 56:27Speaker 3: the glass, and.
- 56:28Speaker 2: Yet there's a fucking State Department of Corrections facility bus
- 56:33Speaker 2: driver who knows he's there, and he's like, ah, I
- 56:36Speaker 2: should probably go faster. He could easily accelerate a I
- 56:40Speaker 2: don't think you can. A guy on a bike, I
- 56:41Speaker 2: don't think you can.
- 56:42Speaker 1: So what's the movie about? A guy that was an
- 56:44Speaker 1: envelope of ten thousand dollars that he needs to bring
- 56:47Speaker 1: somewhere and then the local government takes out a single hundred.
- 56:50Speaker 2: Dollars bill it's actually thirty thousand, and they take the
- 56:53Speaker 2: whole thing because they're racist. Have you seen the movie? No,
- 56:58Speaker 2: it's really really good. Really, it's really.
- 57:01Speaker 3: It's really really good. It's very fun.
- 57:03Speaker 2: I kept waiting for it to be dumb, especially after
- 57:06Speaker 2: that really corny bus scene.
- 57:08Speaker 3: The bus scene is the best.
- 57:09Speaker 2: I can't I kept waiting for it to be dumb,
- 57:12Speaker 2: but it never got dumb, and the writing was solid.
- 57:14Speaker 2: It was tight. Yeah, it's a banger, great ending. So
- 57:20Speaker 2: I liked Rebel Ridge And then I watched a movie
- 57:22Speaker 2: called Sovereign. Sovereign not many people have seen this movie?
- 57:27Speaker 2: What is it about Sovereign is about a father and
- 57:30Speaker 2: a son who basically, the dad believes that the government
- 57:35Speaker 2: is a bad actor, an imposing force, and that it's
- 57:40Speaker 2: our job here in America to sort of take back
- 57:42Speaker 2: our rights and all this. And he has a completely
- 57:44Speaker 2: stupid reading or interpretation of like the Constitution. But he
- 57:48Speaker 2: thinks he's smart, so he thinks that, like he doesn't
- 57:50Speaker 2: have to pay his mortgage to the bank because the bank.
- 57:54Speaker 1: It's it's about sovereign citizens Is that what it's about,
- 57:57Speaker 1: Like people who claim sovereign citizenship. Yes, that's amazing. I
- 58:01Speaker 1: love watching videos about them.
- 58:02Speaker 2: Yeah, isn't that like uh.
- 58:06Speaker 3: Lds.
- 58:07Speaker 1: No, it's like people who are like get pulled over
- 58:09Speaker 1: and they're like, I'm a traveler.
- 58:11Speaker 2: That's exactly That's exactly what he says, Yeah, tells himself
- 58:13Speaker 2: a traveler.
- 58:14Speaker 1: Yeah, that's like a way of like life. It's like
- 58:17Speaker 1: people who think they have like a loophole in the Constitution,
- 58:19Speaker 1: like my will to travel.
- 58:22Speaker 2: He thinks he's By the way, I'm pretty confident that
- 58:24Speaker 2: this movie is based on a true story.
- 58:26Speaker 3: Have you ever seen the under the Banner of Heaven?
- 58:29Speaker 3: No Jack Crackouer, John Crackouer or read the book.
- 58:34Speaker 2: It's about the Mormons.
- 58:34Speaker 3: It's about the Mormons. I'm pretty sure they do that
- 58:36Speaker 3: in that too, Like they're like, we don't pay taxes.
- 58:40Speaker 1: I mean, it makes sense because they're a church, but.
- 58:42Speaker 2: No, like they have to. It's Nick Offerman is the
- 58:49Speaker 2: actor in the in the movie in Sovereign, and he's
- 58:54Speaker 2: with his son, Yeah, and his son is trying to
- 58:57Speaker 2: kind of I don't know, figure if he should distance
- 59:01Speaker 2: himself from his father's crazy viewpoints or and like re
- 59:04Speaker 2: engage and get into public school and all that, or
- 59:07Speaker 2: just like keep traveling around with him and buy in
- 59:08Speaker 2: and I'll leave it there.
- 59:10Speaker 1: But cops hate fucking dudes like this. They're like you can,
- 59:14Speaker 1: I'll watch the videos of them. They're like, yeah, we
- 59:15Speaker 1: got a sovereign citizen. They're like so over it too.
- 59:19Speaker 1: These dudes are so hard to deal with from a
- 59:21Speaker 1: police point.
- 59:22Speaker 2: They are anti cop. And I would say, just like
- 59:24Speaker 2: in Rebel Ridge, this is a movie where it is
- 59:28Speaker 2: these two guys, the father and the son versus the police, and.
- 59:31Speaker 1: They call cops like tyrants, like you fucking tyrant, Yeah,
- 59:35Speaker 1: trying to impose the will boot liquor.
- 59:37Speaker 2: Dude. It's really a really good movie. So I watched
- 59:41Speaker 2: those two Those are both.
- 59:42Speaker 1: Those are ninety four and ninety five on Rotten Tomatoes,
- 59:46Speaker 1: but also low, kind of low on IMDb, like six
- 59:49Speaker 1: point four to six point five on IMDb.
- 59:51Speaker 3: Six point four to six point five isn't terrible. My
- 59:53Speaker 3: cutoff is usually six. Well, I mean type of movie though,
- 59:58Speaker 3: because like a six for a comedy not bad.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: I don't even need a movie to be good. I
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: just needed to make sense. Yeah, like, just take me
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: on a journey that I can like, I'm not gonna
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: be like, come.
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: On, you don't have to pull up the Wikipedia after.
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: This is what actually happened in this movie.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: Okay, speaking of that, the last movie I watched was
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: a movie called Oh my God, I'm gonna forget No,
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: You're not pro It's gonna come to you. It's Korean
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: movie Parasite No Older two thousand and four.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Old Boy, Yes, the best of all time Old Boy
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: maybe a top ten movie of all time.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: Holy shit, this movie never see shit. I've heard of
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: it though, bro, Holy shit, Yeah that's good. This movie.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: I was shaking.
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: You have to translate it though, you have to read.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: It doesn't matter for this movie.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: I'm usually not a big reader for this movie doesn't
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: fucking matter. There's it's the best action sequences, like the
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: just like the look of everything, Like isn't there a
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: scen where he's just like eating you or something like that, But.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: It's like octopus but even just the a live octopus. Yeah,
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: the movie is so there's some gore to it. But
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: but I don't know a great action, incredible fight biography.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: It is a very famous scene, a fight scene in
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: a hallway. It was all one shot. And this is
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: two thousand and four, so this was before like every
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: director was doing that one long uncut shot in the
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: in the in a movie. But dude, unbelievable, crazy twist,
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: just sick. Uh So I would say any of those
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: three if I were to tell you since you haven't
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: seen any of them, well, you saw rebel Ridge. For
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: our listeners out there, rebel Ridge is like lighthearted, you
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: can watch it and not be too twisted up afterwards.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: Sovereign is a little bit more like heavy reading, but
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: very well acted, kind of pretty thoughtful, very interesting. And
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: then old boys like prepare to have your brain. That's
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: part the director.
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: I'll check that out.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Parasite No No Park chang Wuk is that's bunng jun Hoe.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: You're thinking bug jun hoe. Bug jun Ho is parasite park.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Chang Wuk is. Oh boy, of course you knew that though, you.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: Know who I was thinking about earlier today. Speaking of
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: names like that, we used to do you remember I
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: think it was the ninety six Women's World Cup, maybe
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: it was ninety nine. We went to see China play
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: at Foxborough. I think they were playing against Sweden at
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: the star of the Chinese women's national soccer team was
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: soon When really, which sounds like a question and answer
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: in the wrong order.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: Yeah, it really does.
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: Soon When Now, dude, I got my lips are sunburn.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: We couldn't afford to see the American team. We went
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: to see China versus Sweden.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: That's kind of fuck.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: No, it wasn't ju Llette. Then it was Foxborough.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Dude, I want to go. I want to go to
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: the World Cup in Olympics in the US so bad.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: You should, Okay, fuck it, I'll do it.
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: I'll be sick.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: This podcast is brought to you by Game.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Yeah we should all should. I mean, it'll be fun
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: to all go together. Maybe pick the boys, maybe take
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: take my young.
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: So yeah, yeah, take the boys out.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: Yeah, perfect.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: They can probably get in for free or something. Probably
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: strap into my body like some C four strap him
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: under my shirt and fat suit, like I'm Brendan Fraser.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Call back.
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: You guys watched the e w C at all?
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: I felt bad for interrupting your sunburnt lips.
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: That was really nothing. I was just saying because it's
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: been bothering me.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: They don't look so burned, dude, it's so painful.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: You gotta go aqua for I've been layering up on
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: the aqua for.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: At night, and not only on the lips. You need
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: to like do like a rare.
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: Around wing around the Rosie, which is a song about slavery.
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: Yeah, we all fall down. They burned the bodies.
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: Did you guys watch the u WC.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Yeah, it was so good.
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: It's fucking amazing.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: What is that Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia?
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: Didn't watch it?
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: Optic one obviously back to back greatest team of all time.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: Some are saying, shout out to my bros on Optic
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I mean they need to they eventually is going to
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: need to be a salary cap situation kind of yeah,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: because you just if you can just gather the best talent.
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: There's really three teams in the league that can get
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: the best talent, and then every other team is like decent,
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: but like they're not gonna beat.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: It will be a great story if they, I mean
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: there are but like if the boys could like put
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: cobble together like some kind.
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: Of well, that's the thing that's cool about it is
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: the the tournament style is there's the there's Call of
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: Duty pros in the CDL, and then there's this thing
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: called the Challengers, which is like anyone can be in it.
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: It's like amateurs and there's teams and you just scrimmage
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: against other minor league teams and they get pulled up
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: into the pros. But in the tournaments like this, it's
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: like a bracket and the Challengers teams can go play
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: in the tournament getting the pro teams.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: Yeah, group of friends.
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: Yeah. And one of the.
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: Teams, one of the Challengers teams, I believe beat knocked
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: out one of the pro teams.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: That's that's literally that should have a fucking Disney movie.
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: Isn't that insane?
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: It's pretty the most boring movie of all time.
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: You guys are missing out it's fucking like this is
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: top tier entertainment.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: I think it is. I watched it. No you didn't,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: All right, well, stop fucking calling me out. It's like
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: literally not your fucking business.
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: It's genuinely like, I'm all, I'm awful, I'm I'm all in,
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: and I I kind of want to get involved.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: Can we get merch from them? Can we buy some
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: optic merch?
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: Already I bought I already bought my back to back
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: champs shirt. Mouke bought his. Uh, Mouke bought the E
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: w C because Mooke's like in with these guys. Yeah,
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: cases me.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: Off who has him past him as his ab Yeah?
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: Because so this dude Scump, he's like the greatest Call
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: of Duty player of all time.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: I started watching Scump when I was in like third grade.
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: And and he looks like Mook, Like him and Mook
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: have the same face pretty much. And this this shirt
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: you got, I don't know, I haven't gotten it yet.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: Seventeen seventeen, twenty four, twenty five on the back, I mean,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: the shirt is cold.
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: I think it is the one I got. It's fucking awesome.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: I'm pumped, but it's on it's on. It won't be
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: here for months.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: I like how the cut is, like it's clearly a
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: gamer cut, it's clearly for fat. It's a boxy Yeah.
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: I was looking at all their shirts and I was like,
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: this is what I've been looking for.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Forever, tailor for the gamer body. It's fucking boxy as hell.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: It was a boxy shirt, dude, wide bodied shirt.
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: I gotta get involved, though, like I want to start.
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: I gotta like, I want to get. I want to
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: get I want to dive in how I want to be,
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: like doing through barstool, I know. I mean, Hitch was
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: like you should do like I want to be, Like like,
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: I don't. Obviously I'm not ever. I'm not a I'm
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: not gonna play Call of dude.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: No, you're not good.
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: I'm not good. But but I love it and I
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: love watching this like I love watching the competitive events
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: like it's and it's getting bigger. It's sick.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: This is so cool. What an unbelievable maturation moment this
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: is for me. You have shifted from being this all right,
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: I would say, very sort of outspoken, kind of arrogant
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: call of duty participant to fan and humble about your ability.
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: No I'm not humble about my ability at all.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: You just said you're not good, which is true.
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: I was kidding. I'm fucking amazing at the game. I've
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: never been so good at a video game. The people
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: I play against are really good too, So it's not
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: like it's hard, you know. Yeah, but when you're playing
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: against when you're playing against Crimson Diamonds all day.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: Bro. Look at what Hitch said to me. Oh, he
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: wants to do this Madden tournament.
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: Who Hitch said this?
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Hitch hit me up and he was like, we should
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: do a you can read it.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: Well, let's do a Madden Barstool tournament with creators and
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: ship red Zone it on barstool.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: It's a good idea by Hitch.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: And then he said Tim on Cowboys, scump on Eagles.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: It could be huge. Barstool is the host. Brands would
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: go stupid for it. While I have you here, can
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: you send Dick or Aspecks.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: It's come on, and don't we just don't show what
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: I said?
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: Can I see this? I don't think you want to
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: see it. You're never gonna see round the same way.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: The fact that you could see my Dick and Asher,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: the fact that I'm actually top tapped in with the bros.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: You'd have to play as the Patriots, are you're green
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: with jealous rage.
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: I am yeah, but I would definitely do that.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: It's crazy that everybody around you is tapping.
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: Insane, and I'm like the only one, Like I watched religious.
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: I watch every single match.
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: I'm gonna reach out to that, and they're like, like
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: anyone that Harry wants to be friends with, I want
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: to wait.
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: Let me show you this because I got I took
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: a photo of it yesterday because I'm watching. I'm like
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: just trying to enjoy my Sunday.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: The coveted friend of my friend is my coveted friend.
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: So like they do a watch party of the tournament,
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: these three dudes, and when they go away from like
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: camer to go to the bathroom, something they put they'll
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: put something on screen, like a funny photo of them.
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: And for Scump, they just use this photo and it's
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: a moo come over in Miami.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: Wow, they really do love him.
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: It's crazy.
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: That's amazing, is that because when you guys all play
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: like he's the best one in the group.
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: Yes, Mok's the gold three.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: The stats don't lie.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: What's gold three?
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: That's his rank?
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: And what are you? Flat three? Is the diamond? There is?
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: There is the I believe it when I see it.
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I believe when I see it too.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: More dedication.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: Well, speaking of ranks, quick quick thing here my handicap
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: and golf dropped one point nine this weekend. How damn?
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: I had the best round of my life and then
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: the next day I had and also a very good round.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: You where were you?
- 1:10:28Speaker 6: Uh?
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: This is a member guest.
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: No, that's next weekend member and this is bad right
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: before the member. Yeah, it's not good, but it is
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: a testament to my honest that I put my scores
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: in definitely because this is going to fuck me for
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: the member guest, but it is what it is. People
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: who with with withhold scores like that. That's where you
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: get called out. Like people at my club would have
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: known because I I told everyone, Yeah, of course, what
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: did you shoot? The first time? I shot seventy three?
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: Is that under or one over?
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: And it's par seventy one in my course, But I'll
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: tell you quickly about it. I'll tell this quickly because
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: I know it's boring to rehash golf I shot three
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: under on the front nine. Damn, I birdied four, five, six, seven. Jesus,
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: I had four birdies in a row. I've never had
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: more than two in a row.
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: Yeah, So where was the bogie mixed in one?
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: I bogied one, which is one of the easiest holes
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: on the course. But I wasn't even thinking it was
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: going to be a good round at that point. I
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: wasn't that like focus.
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: At my home course, it was par five, whole one,
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: always starting. I don't think I ever didn't start out
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: with an eight.
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: Uh so, yeah, I'm three under through front the front nine, yeah,
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: and I'm like starting then I parted ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen,
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh no, now now I'm thinking I'm
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: going to shoot sixty yeah. Eight. Yeah. My best score
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: ever is seventy three. I've shot seventy three a few times.
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: I'm like, well, that's that's toast. I'm gonna beat that.
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: It's just a question of whether I beat it by
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: four or five strokes. Yeah.
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: As soon as I had that thought, fuck trumbled terrible
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: shot on fourteen approach, ended up short of the green,
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: putted because I was scared of chunking a wedge hit
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: it past the hole. Now I have a down hill putt.
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: I miss it, so I get a bogie and I'm like,
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: all right, whatever, I'm still two under. There's only four
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: holes to go. Fifteen sixteen seven or that was Yeah,
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: that was fourteen fifteen six collapse fifteen. I ended up
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: short sight on the green, it's at par three, chip
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: it down, can't get close. And then I three putted
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: for a double. Oh, now I'm.
- 1:12:52Speaker 3: Even Yeah, the found I parted sixteen behavior.
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: I parted sixteen and missed a very easy birdie putt
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: which rattled me. Seventeen I bogeat another part three oh, eighteen,
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: I'm on the green and two it's a par five,
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: and I three putted for bar.
- 1:13:06Speaker 11: Oh.
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: The short game fell apart.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: It was really like I don't even know what's mental
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: game it all. Yeah, It's like it's like, okay, let's
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: we have to get back to the norm. Yeah, we're
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: playing too well, this is normal, les, let's not misbehave here.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: And I just tighten up and freak out.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: And who are you with?
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: I was playing with my buddy Corey ooh. We played
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: through a group of like four really good looking like
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: nineteen year old boys. They were all shirtless, really, and
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: so I say this because if anyone would doubt my score.
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: They watched me chip in for my first birdie on four,
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: and then we played through them on the par five.
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: They hit all already hit and I stuck my t
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: shot on the par five to a foot almost made
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: a hole in one. So there's my set birdie. And
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: they watched both of those, so those boys could corroborate.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: What kind of course is this though, Let's the hot
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: boys walk around shirtless.
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: It's low key. It's low key.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: I mean it's a little too lowkey for me.
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: Then I would never fly at my course.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: Yeah, that sounds like a little publish old master, no shirt,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: no service.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: So I shot seventy three and that brought my handicap
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: from six point zero down to like four point seven.
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: And then yesterday I shot seventy six and that brought
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: it down from four point seven to four point one.
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: And now I don't even know what who the fuck
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: I am?
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: Sounds like you need to go out there and just
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: blow up.
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: But you need to blow up so many times.
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: I think it was tonight. You gotta just black out right,
- 1:14:44Speaker 3: just get fucking shit face. I don't drink on Mondays,
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: doesn't matter, you're drinking tonight, shit faced out of your
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: like full bottle of Scotch tea time five am.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: You need to.
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: Just a recentund like yeah, to reset the handicap, get
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: those points back, dude.
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: When I was playing my buddy Corey, we was played
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: for money, and we were playing a pretty expensive round. Yeah,
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: and like a week before he had beaten me for
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: two hundred and fifty bucks. Yeah, And so when I
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: made the third birdie and then the fourth, we stopped
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: talking like I was pitching a perfect game, Like he
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: understood what was happening. And we're cool enough, and like
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: even though I'm taking him for money, it's like he's
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: rooting for me still. And John Rahm has the course
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: record at my club. He played it once and just
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: went out, never seen the course before, shot fifty nine. Yeah.
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: Yeah, it's fucking insane.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: It's preposterous, And.
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: There was I think I saw video recently of Scotti
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: Scheffler at his home course like twenty under or some shit.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: It just puts everything in perspective. It's fucking outrageous.
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: It is insane.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: So I'm thinking like I'm pretty good. Well, I'm three
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: under on the front. I only need nine more birdies
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: on the back to tie jenre. It's not unheard of you.
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: There's two bar fives. I eagle them both. Then I
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: can afford a couple of bars.
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: Fifty nine is what it's seventy twelve under, twelve.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: Under wonder about to make a rom com.
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: Damn heya, that's my golf story.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: That's that's You've got to feel pretty good about that.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: But you fucked yourself with a member guest, and now everybody,
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: at least I people know.
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: I don't feel good about it because that seventy three
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: was as bad as it could have adicap Right now
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: now it's four point one, but it was six point
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: zero week ago. You're in trouble, so I'm not. Really
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: I shouldn't be. I don't think I'm a four point one.
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: I'm probably more like a five and a half or something.
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: You're in trouble for that, uh member guest. Yeah, let
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: me tell you.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: You gotta get me in SaaS out there to fucking
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: carry the bags.
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: Come on now, yeah, fish, this is the season. They're biting.
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: They're biting on anything.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: I don't know if they are sat in.
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: The east the I'll tell you what. The fishing out
- 1:17:00Speaker 3: west was significantly harder this time than it was.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: How many total fish did you catch?
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: I have no clue.
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: Oh you'd lost count it was that many.
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: Well, you just catch so many small, tiny fish, like
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: because with fly fishing, it's like all trout eat the
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: same stuff. They just eat bugs, so it's like or
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: they eat bait fish. So it's like if you throw
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: a dry fly, you could get a huge fish. Well,
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: but you could also get like you literally see like
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: minnows trying to eat your fucking dry fly. Oh, so
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: it's like you're gonna catch small fish because they're all
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: eating the same thing.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: It's more about just you still tire out the minnows.
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: No though, those are a problem because you set the
- 1:17:41Speaker 3: hook and they fucking fly out of the water and.
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: Nothing would come along to eat them. Uh, bigger fish,
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: That's what I'm wondering.
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: I caught a fish on a streamer and another fish
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: was trying to eat.
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: It while I had it on That's what I'm saying.
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: Yeah, but it was like I don't know if it
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: was trying to eat it or if it was like
- 1:18:00Speaker 3: it was following it, like they were circling each other,
- 1:18:02Speaker 3: like while I had this fish hooked, But the fish
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: that was that I caught was like probably like this big,
- 1:18:08Speaker 3: and the one that was trying to eat it was
- 1:18:10Speaker 3: probably like this big. So I was like, that's not
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: You're gonna eat a fish that's like three inches shorter
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: than you. Yeah, that's already hooked.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: That's why you can't really feel bad about killing fish,
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: because they're gonna kill it.
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:18:26Speaker 3: I mean, if I saw that fish eat that other fish,
- 1:18:29Speaker 3: it would have been the most insane thing I've ever witnessed.
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: It would have been like watching a snake swallow a human.
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: I just saw. I did too, but it wasn't true.
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: They were like, look, here's an anaconda eating a woman,
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: and it's like, no, this was an anaconda eating two goats.
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: I think I saw that because she survived, didn't they?
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, And the truth was the reason the anaconda
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: was so unhappy was because the horns of the goat
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: were puncturing the inside of its stomach. And then the
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: reason people figured this out that it was and needing
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: a woman was because the snake was in a goat shack.
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: And people were like, she lives in there.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: That's what I think, Like, that's her apartment.
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: That's the smallest house I ever saw.
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: All Right, I don't fuck with snakes whatsoever, and I
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: definitely don't fuck with spiders.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: Snakes do not bother me at all.
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: Snakes might be above spiders for me, to be honest,
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: like big snakes. Oh my god, I didn't even tell
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: you guys about the moose, dude, Terriory fucking moose dude.
- 1:19:35Speaker 3: I mean, this was the most speaking of we were
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: talking about screaming, like, this was the most scared I've been,
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: like genuine fear in so long. Day one where we
- 1:19:45Speaker 3: go into like our we get to like the access
- 1:19:47Speaker 3: point and we're like walking in and I'm fishing up front.
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: We're kind of like like like leapfrog in each other
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: and I'm like fishing up front and I'm walking forward
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: and a man sive moose with a baby comes into
- 1:20:03Speaker 3: the river like from me to.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: Like that pictures of it.
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: Hell no, dude, I turned around.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: I got that.
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: You got to get the hell out of there.
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: And if you see as will kill you.
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: Yeah, if you see a baby, you gotta go.
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: They'll stop on riverdance you.
- 1:20:18Speaker 3: So we're like, all right, not a huge deal. We like,
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: we've seen moose before. We're like, all right, we're just
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: gonna have to cut out and go around them figure out.
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: So we cut out, and then when we're cutting out,
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: Bo's walking in front. The dad appears out of nowhere.
- 1:20:31Speaker 3: I'm talking like twelve feet tall.
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: Have you seen my wife?
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: Dude flies at flies out of the woods, just sitting there,
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: just staring at us. And then we're like, all right,
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: let's go way out, like, let's get the fuck away
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: from these moose, and we go out. Three more appear
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: as we're coming out.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: I surrounded dude.
- 1:20:52Speaker 3: Six moose were looking at us.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: Sounds like do you believe it?
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: It was insane.
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: I got some.
- 1:20:58Speaker 3: I'll show you the This is like I took this photo.
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: When I walked a little further.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: Six moose would scare the fuck out of me. It
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: was way more scared of moose than snakes.
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: Wow, while here he's looking that up. I just want
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: to put out a quick call.
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: Oh my god, those was like buffalo.
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: Yeah. I am on the hunt for some wild venison meat.
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: I would really like to source some wild game meat.
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: I love venison, elk, moose. I know you can't buy
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: these things at Butcher's. You can get venison, but it's
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: always made on a fucking deer farm or whatever. I
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: want the wild stuff, okay, I want lice crawling around
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: the filets.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: I want Sydney.
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: I want the deer to have diseases that I can
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: possibly get, so I have to boil the meat first.
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: I want wild cuts. Okay, if anyone out there hunts
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: whatever and can send me a freezer some frozen moose
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: meat or deer meat, I want it. I'll pay for it.
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: The deer look at Sydney like Benjamin Nett and Yahoo.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: They're like, oh, she's committing a fucking genocide.
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: You guys see Nelk on h.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: Nelk of course, can you hear his crazy take about
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: burger king, Dude? He said, burger king over McDonald's dude.
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: That video like I watched that, I actually watched.
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: I didn't watch that, but I like skimmed it, and
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: then I watched the the stream after on the plane
- 1:22:37Speaker 3: flying to Denver. I watched like an hour of it
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: and it was unreal.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: They were just like just like humiliation, ritual full humiliation ritual.
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: What does that mean? What do you mean?
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: Just like the NLK Boys were on with like Hassan
- 1:22:51Speaker 3: Piker and like Adam Friedland, like all these like super.
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: But also like Nick Fuentes and sneak O, like the
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: very left wing, very right wing, all pro Palestine people
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: who were like, you've fucked up. You've made like they
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: drinking podcast.
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: Yeah, and they were like would you They were like,
- 1:23:10Speaker 3: that's pretty much the equivalent of interviewing like Hitler. And
- 1:23:14Speaker 3: they were like and they were like, we would interview Hitler.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: It's like, dude, know we want to get both sides.
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: Yeah, you wouldn't. You're just saying that because you backed
- 1:23:24Speaker 3: yourself into a hole. Now you have to act like
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: you're this Like it's so funny when people get in
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: trouble online and then they come they try to act
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: like they're this like freedom fighter, like, well, no, we're
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: just trying to get the input from all side. You're
- 1:23:35Speaker 3: trying to make money, dude, So everyone, we're all trying
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: to just put out a good podcast and get paid.
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: You're not trying to like it's not like the k
- 1:23:42Speaker 3: Neelk Boys were interested interested to hear Yahu's pov.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: Yeah, because they were asking him about burger king, burger king,
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: over making.
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: How much did they talk about.
- 1:23:54Speaker 3: Like, they didn't talk Everything they talked about was like
- 1:23:57Speaker 3: just nat yahoo lying.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: They were like, they're like, what do you think about
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: the fact that people say that the Palestinians are being starved?
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: And he's like, well, we'll give them foods and they're
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: actually starving themselves. Yeah, it's Hamas is actually the one
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: starving them.
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: And then they're like really like, oh, well, okay, so
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: just a hypothetical, right, And I agree.
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: I think it's crazy that like comedians and goofball podcasters
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: are having like.
- 1:24:26Speaker 3: I just don't understand what stayed on.
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: But my question would be if they had, let's say,
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: I don't know, the leader of like the PLO right
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: or like the Fatah the more peaceful governing group that
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: is that that never wins because Hamas always wins on
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: to be the other voice, Like would you think that
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: that was a good thing to do?
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: Or No, I don't think people that are underqualified to
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: be talking to these people should be having any of
- 1:24:57Speaker 3: the podcasts I kind of agree with I don't think
- 1:25:00Speaker 3: I don't think any comedians should be having Trump on
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: their podcast. I don't understand. No one's ever tuned in
- 1:25:05Speaker 3: to THEO Vonn and Andrew Schultz and been like, man,
- 1:25:07Speaker 3: I wish this guy was talking to Trump right now.
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: That would be a good listen.
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: No. True, but I do think that they ask questions
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: of those politicians that CNN doesn't like. For THEO Vonn
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: to talk to Trump, even though Trump didn't weigh in
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: on it. About pain is kind of a fascinating thing.
- 1:25:27Speaker 3: I suppose. I just think it's so it's such a
- 1:25:29Speaker 3: sensitive subject and it's like real life, it's real world problems.
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: I don't think it's something that comedians.
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: Need to be them. You think they kind of and
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: I think it I should be.
- 1:25:41Speaker 3: No, I think it's strictly for money. I don't there's
- 1:25:44Speaker 3: no No one could convince me that any of these
- 1:25:46Speaker 3: comedians are having like like major politicians on for like content.
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: Or to educators. Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 1:25:59Speaker 3: But it's like why, Like if if we got an
- 1:26:00Speaker 3: offer and that was like do you want to have
- 1:26:02Speaker 3: and who on your podcast, we would be like why
- 1:26:06Speaker 3: why would we want to do that?
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: That's not what our schedule.
- 1:26:11Speaker 3: It's a comedy podcast.
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: I mean, I can't tell anyone what to do with
- 1:26:17Speaker 3: their platform.
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: No, you're right. I mean my issue with that wouldn't
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: be so much that we were platforming bb net and
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: Yahoo more b that I don't know how we can
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: make that funny.
- 1:26:26Speaker 3: Yeah exactly. But that's what we're trying to do, is
- 1:26:29Speaker 3: be funny correct, rather than like, I don't know. Maybe
- 1:26:33Speaker 3: people do listen to podcasts like that and think that,
- 1:26:35Speaker 3: but I've never listened to a comedy podcast and been like,
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: I'd love to hear this guy sit down with a dictator.
- 1:26:40Speaker 11: Is there.
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: Is there? But?
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: But dude, here's the here's the problem is that, like
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: people do think Trump's funny.
- 1:26:47Speaker 3: Yeah, but he's not funny on podcasts because it's all
- 1:26:50Speaker 3: fucking scripted bullshit. Like when he goes on a podcast,
- 1:26:54Speaker 3: it's like when Dave interviewed him, he said he had
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: sheets of notes that was you're only allowed to ask
- 1:26:59Speaker 3: these questions.
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 1:27:00Speaker 3: So it's like that's just at that point, we're just
- 1:27:02Speaker 3: watching sixty minutes. You just missed your episode of No.
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: I know I'm playing Devil's advocate a little bit. I
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: agree with you. I just trying to think if there
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: is a world leader or somebody who if we had
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: them on, would be funny and we could like spitball
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: with and they would come into.
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: Our I don't think we could, like who's Gaddafi? Would
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: have been good?
- 1:27:31Speaker 3: Mussolini?
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: The obvious answer is actually Zelenski because he wasn't he
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: a comedian? Yeah, but he's not gonna be funny.
- 1:27:38Speaker 3: Yeah, he's also like a buffoon.
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: George George Bush I think would be funny George.
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: There you go, maybe retired politicians.
- 1:27:48Speaker 3: But even then, it's like, if we had George Bush on,
- 1:27:51Speaker 3: I genuinely believe like we would our actual listeners would
- 1:27:54Speaker 3: be like, this episode sucks. Why are we Why did
- 1:27:58Speaker 3: you guys do this?
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: We would no, because we could ask him funny questions.
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: Yeah, but no, no, actually, just would politicize anything like
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: that when as soon as you have a politician on,
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: it's automatically politicized and like your detractors and their detractors
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: will hate it, and the people who love them will
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: be like, you're fucking the goats for having them on. Yeah,
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: but and I do see the value of like a
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: common person asking questions of a politician not framed through
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: the lens of mainstream media. But I don't think that
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: that's what a lot of people are trying to do.
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: No, I don't either, Like I just get I don't know.
- 1:28:31Speaker 3: I'm just getting annoyed with all like these people who
- 1:28:33Speaker 3: are like trying to convince everyone that they're just like actually,
- 1:28:36Speaker 3: I think outside of the I think a little differently.
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree with that, but I also think that
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: that's doesn't apply to everyone. Right, If these comedian podcasters
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: are claiming the reason they had them on was to man,
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: I'll show different points of view or whatever, and so yeah,
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: that's crazy. That's that.
- 1:28:55Speaker 3: That's pretty my point.
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: Every other guest that any podcast has ever had on
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: is for the express purpose of engagement. I'm having this
- 1:29:05Speaker 2: person on because I believe this episode will do well.
- 1:29:09Speaker 3: There's a difference between like us having war Mode on
- 1:29:12Speaker 3: and NELK having No.
- 1:29:13Speaker 8: I know that.
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: I know that. I'm saying, are you sure that Andrew
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: Schultz wouldn't be like, yeah, we had Trump on because
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: we knew the episode would be huge. No, I'm not.
- 1:29:24Speaker 3: I mean, I'm assuming that is what it was, but
- 1:29:26Speaker 3: I would he say that though, Oh I have no idea.
- 1:29:29Speaker 3: I'm sure. I don't know if he would or if
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: he wouldn't, but if he did, I would be like,
- 1:29:32Speaker 3: I understand that, but I don't agree with it fair
- 1:29:35Speaker 3: enough because those those podcasts they get millions of views anyways.
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: Yah, but that's just then then you're getting into the
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: like why do you need any more money? Argument?
- 1:29:45Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: I think it's like as good questions of Trump.
- 1:29:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I just think it's people are crossing into a
- 1:29:50Speaker 3: territory that they are not experienced him, and I think
- 1:29:53Speaker 3: it's dumb. I think it's dumb because people are listening
- 1:29:57Speaker 3: to it being like this is fascinating.
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: M Yeah. Well, then that does come down to is
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: the interviewer actually good? Speaking of which I've been listening
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: to Acquired Do you know that pod? Now? It's pretty big.
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: It's about businesses. These two guys that just do tons
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: and tons of research. They only put out one episode
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: a month, only like six episodes a year, and they
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: just research a business forever and then present it for.
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: They know how much they're missing out on ad revenue.
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: Must be business.
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: They make a lot of money. They sold that d damn. Yeah.
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: They interview Jamie Diamond at Radio City and they're just
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: really good at presenting businesses. So I listened right now
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: I'm listening to the Google one and I listened to
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: the air mez one. Yeah, it's all really interesting. So
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: just recommend that as a pod if you're interested. I
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: know it's a huge pod. So it's like you guys
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: have heard of the Joe Rogan. Anyway, that's our episode.
- 1:30:58Speaker 3: You guys for listening. Will see you on on Thursday,
- 1:31:00Speaker 3: and next week we will have on Vladimir Poota.
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: Stay tuned.
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: What movies have you seen? Have you seen war Dogs?
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: It's about my good friends.
- 1:31:29Speaker 6: Was Steve still underground?
- 1:31:38Speaker 11: So I looked out to.
- 1:31:45Speaker 12: The game a round. I was fallen away, I zi
- 1:31:56Speaker 12: fallen Jay were drive.
- 1:32:06Speaker 6: Food for was?
- 1:32:12Speaker 3: So?
- 1:32:13Speaker 11: So then you leave some No, I come al, I'm
- 1:32:23Speaker 11: on a phone in long I was only a phone
- 1:32:30Speaker 11: in one. I was on your phone in one way.
- 1:32:40Speaker 6: I was on your phone. The stream don't can take me.
- 1:33:04Speaker 7: Away, sae just a distance. The bas that's on tap
- 1:33:21Speaker 7: of the go just a man not really take a hand.
- 1:33:26Speaker 7: If you get see.
- 1:34:02Speaker 11: The plae change d G don't it's s
