- 0:00Speaker 1: Andrew or this is with us. Good to see you
- 0:02Speaker 1: greenex Bike. Tell me how good are you an F
- 0:05Speaker 1: one fan? Naturally? Or you just sort of dip utau
- 0:08Speaker 1: in periodically.
- 0:10Speaker 2: How you appreciate the fact that they could drive like
- 0:13Speaker 2: cart I've sort more of a great driver out there, Mike.
- 0:19Speaker 1: That would be as good a race. It was as
- 0:21Speaker 1: good a race as you will ever see, not only
- 0:23Speaker 1: as the season closed up with McLaren being genuinely competitive
- 0:26Speaker 1: with Red Bull and Verstappan's running Red Bull by himself
- 0:30Speaker 1: because Pereza isn't up to anything, so McLaren. Both drivers
- 0:33Speaker 1: are there or thereabouts. But what unfolded was as good
- 0:36Speaker 1: as it gets.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Well, you've got Norris and for starving with the punctures
- 0:41Speaker 2: what sixty fourth lap? Yeah, you would have thought for
- 0:44Speaker 2: starting had it pretty much sort of a gentleman and
- 0:47Speaker 2: that particular juncture. And then well a driver we've been
- 0:50Speaker 2: talking about for while, George Russell, who I've got a
- 0:53Speaker 2: lot of time for it seems to really have some
- 0:55Speaker 2: composure there behind the wheel, has has taken it out
- 0:58Speaker 2: so his second if I But here's.
- 1:00Speaker 1: The thing, so when we stap and goes in for
- 1:02Speaker 1: the pit stop, they can't pull the back wheel off.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Why is that? That's pressure, you see, That's what happens
- 1:07Speaker 1: with the field, So pressure they crack and then suddenly
- 1:10Speaker 1: Norris's back. And do you remember when Lewis Hamilton and
- 1:14Speaker 1: Vastappan back in the days when Mercedes were competitive, they
- 1:17Speaker 1: ran over each other, they crashed regularly, and this was
- 1:20Speaker 1: the same. This is just Norris is replaced and that's
- 1:22Speaker 1: what makes it so exciting.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Well, Norris's rice the season has been one of the highlights,
- 1:26Speaker 2: hasn't it. Just a casual observer, he's a genuine and
- 1:29Speaker 2: it's great to have this competitive NAEs coming back to
- 1:31Speaker 2: it because red Bull been so strong for so long,
- 1:34Speaker 2: So no, I'm welcome in. So as a neutral fan.
- 1:37Speaker 1: You've got red Bull, you've got McLaren, you got Mercedes,
- 1:40Speaker 1: and you got Ferrari a genuinely competitive now and so
- 1:43Speaker 1: that's good for them.
- 1:44Speaker 2: That's gas more than that, good for the sport.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Tell twenty. Once they got across the line, was that
- 1:49Speaker 1: a success in any way, shape or form. Did that
- 1:51Speaker 1: do for cricket what it was supposed to?
- 1:53Speaker 2: I think they will argue just the entry into the
- 1:55Speaker 2: United States any subsequent to that with the the MLC
- 1:59Speaker 2: Major League Cricket coming up, I'll say it's a launching
- 2:02Speaker 2: pad if you like to try and keep that sustained.
- 2:05Speaker 2: I think they've been let down by the pictures over
- 2:07Speaker 2: the course of the tournament. I mean, fortunately, it's produced
- 2:10Speaker 2: some close games and you've had outsiders coming through into
- 2:14Speaker 2: the last eight, et cetera. Afghanistan, United States, but ultimately
- 2:19Speaker 2: the juggernaut that's India has has won through. So yeah,
- 2:23Speaker 2: and I'm pleased with South Africa to to be able
- 2:24Speaker 2: to make the final of a major tournament as well.
- 2:27Speaker 2: I mean, they've been threatening for so long. I've been
- 2:29Speaker 2: accused of the dreadful tag, that the choker tag if
- 2:31Speaker 2: you're like in semi finals, et cetera. So to get
- 2:34Speaker 2: through to the final for the ms of a breakthrough,
- 2:35Speaker 2: but I just felt like, yeah, that the pictures went
- 2:38Speaker 2: up to it another it's if you're a better and
- 2:41Speaker 2: you have that, you want a good competition between bat
- 2:44Speaker 2: and ball. But the inconsistency meant that there was just
- 2:48Speaker 2: the hesitancy on their part.
- 2:49Speaker 1: And I know you want to celebrate the warriors, don't
- 2:54Speaker 1: we all? Don't we all?
- 2:55Speaker 2: At sixty six six last time I was sitting in
- 2:57Speaker 2: this seat last week.
- 2:59Speaker 1: So, but I don't know. We got Andrew Webster on
- 3:01Speaker 1: the program tomorrow and so I don't know what happened.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I don't know how you explained it was an interview
- 3:05Speaker 1: of your ILK cast came well, I'm going to have
- 3:08Speaker 1: to But at the end of the day, it was
- 3:09Speaker 1: a very good game though, because the Broncos are a
- 3:11Speaker 1: solid side and they had the you know, the ability
- 3:15Speaker 1: to come back, but they never looked like they were
- 3:16Speaker 1: going to win.
- 3:17Speaker 2: The Warriors continue to produce the magic when you're at
- 3:20Speaker 2: least expected in vice versa. So but I mean they're
- 3:23Speaker 2: going to stick with what tomorrow, mate, And.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Every time, every time he's on the field, he does stuff.
- 3:31Speaker 1: This is entertaining, changing the guard potentially here. Yeah, I think. Yeah,
- 3:34Speaker 1: all right, Andrew, nice to see you, lovely, Mike, go well.
