- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to the Emotional Mastery Podcast.
- 0:03Speaker 1: I am your host, rochelle.
- 0:04Speaker 1: I'm a holistic human design health coach and this is a space for human design and spiritual journey.
- 0:10Speaker 1: It's not about being a master of your emotions, rather mastering the tools to self-regulate, to awakening yourself and remembering who you are.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Human design changed my life about five years ago and I've been learning and teaching the system ever since.
- 0:24Speaker 1: This podcast is human design meets spirituality, meets astrology.
- 0:27Speaker 1: You don't have to have a belief system to be here, just an open mind and curiosity.
- 0:32Speaker 1: This is a journey of meeting yourself and awakening to your infinite potential.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Now let the magic begin.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Welcome back to another week on the Emotional Mastery Podcast.
- 0:43Speaker 1: This week I am talking to Michelle, michelle the Mystic on Instagram.
- 0:47Speaker 1: You may know her by that.
- 0:48Speaker 1: She is a Reiki master, teacher and intuitive coach, and we had this conversation scheduled.
- 0:55Speaker 1: I think I can't remember when it was.
- 0:57Speaker 1: I don't know if it was as far back as the last eclipse season, but it might have been the Scorpio full moon, but either way, we had this interview scheduled months ago and whatever moon cycle it was, I believe it was a full moon, but it just like kicked both our asses and we canceled it and rescheduled it, so we finally had this conversation.
- 1:19Speaker 1: It was really a great conversation.
- 1:21Speaker 1: I love it will be on her podcast as well, and so it be on her podcast as well, and so it'll be on hers as well, so you can catch it on both places.
- 1:28Speaker 1: And it was just a really great conversation about parenting.
- 1:32Speaker 1: She is pregnant.
- 1:33Speaker 1: She is, I believe, at this point, nine months pregnant, so she is about to be initiated into motherhood, and so we talked a lot about that.
- 1:40Speaker 1: We talked about inner child healing.
- 1:42Speaker 1: We talked about Scorpio and Pluto, because those are huge themes for both of us.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Michelle is a Scorpio rising and I have my moon square Pluto, jupiter in the eighth house.
- 1:54Speaker 1: There's just so much that's plutonic in my chart.
- 1:56Speaker 1: My fourth house rules, or Scorpio rules my fourth house, rather, and so this axis for me.
- 2:02Speaker 1: My sun is in Taurus, so Earth is in Scorpio, so there's so much Scorpionic.
- 2:07Speaker 1: And Michelle even informed me that my moon is at eight degrees and I guess eight degrees is ruled by Scorpio.
- 2:13Speaker 1: So there's just so much to it.
- 2:15Speaker 1: And really, this last year and I think my next solo is going to be on Pluto, because I've been kind of moving through the inner planets we did Mars, we did Venus, we did the sun, we did the moon.
- 2:31Speaker 1: But I think I'm going to like jump over to Pluto, because Pluto has been holding a lot of lessons for me.
- 2:33Speaker 1: And whenever Pluto activates something in your chart, you know Pluto is intensity, pluto is depth, pluto is discomfort because Pluto is like it makes it's really subconscious, it's deeply subconscious, but in order to move through our limiting beliefs, our subconscious beliefs, our trauma, our shadows, we have to like bring it to the surface.
- 2:50Speaker 1: And that's sort of the job of Pluto is to make things so uncomfortable that we have no choice but to face it.
- 2:55Speaker 1: And it can be really dark and it can be really challenging.
- 2:58Speaker 1: And anytime that it's activating something in your chart, you're likely to be going through a season of you know whether it's a dark night of the soul or just like a challenging season.
- 3:08Speaker 1: You know Pluto also holds the energy of transformation and so it's not just here to pick at the scab, it's not just here to continue this death cycle, right, like death and rebirth, but it does hold the energy of rebirth, of transformation, like if we are leaning into the lessons and the energy of Pluto as it's activating us, we're going to learn so much we're going to transform, so much we're going to release and shed and shift, and it's like Scorpio holds the energy of that Phoenix rising, and so that is the purpose and intent of Pluto.
- 3:38Speaker 1: And so for me, pluto, being at 29 degrees of Capricorn, is really activating.
- 3:41Speaker 1: So it was an Aquarius and then it went back into Capricorn.
- 3:43Speaker 1: It's really activating, it's kind of well.
- 3:44Speaker 1: So it was an Aquarius and then went back into Capricorn.
- 3:46Speaker 1: As it dipped back into Capricorn, it's really activating.
- 3:49Speaker 1: My sixth house of health and daily routines and I've really been feeling this big time, you know, like I've talked in a previous podcast episode, like I'm sort of getting a little bit of a rash and Capricorn rules the skin, so it just like makes sense.
- 3:58Speaker 1: And when I think back over the last, you know, since 2008, there have been a lot of my health things that have been coming up.
- 4:05Speaker 1: You know, working out, not working out, heart issues, you know a lot of those types of things.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I've had children, c-sections, staph infections, like there's been a lot that's had to do.
- 4:16Speaker 1: All of my major like health issues have come up during this Pluto and Capricorn, which makes a lot of sense, you know, and I have Mars and Capricorn and Mars rules the blood, mars rules Aries, the head.
- 4:25Speaker 1: You know, it's really really fascinating.
- 4:29Speaker 1: And so, as it's sort of navigating this, as it dips into Aquarius, which rules my seventh house, and it's opposite my moon, so I'm anticipating quite a bit of intensity over the next 20 years, but more so probably, I would say more so the next, like eight to 10 years, as it's, you know, within the degrees of my moon.
- 4:49Speaker 1: My moon is at eight degrees, so once it hits about one degree of Aquarius, it's really going to start this movement on my moon.
- 4:55Speaker 1: So I'm sort of anticipating that.
- 4:57Speaker 1: And, yeah, it's just been activating a lot.
- 4:59Speaker 1: It's been square my nodes at 29 degrees of Capricorn, because my nodes are 29 degrees of Aries, libra.
- 5:04Speaker 1: So it's just it's been really intense, to say the least, and this entire year basically it's been square my nodes.
- 5:10Speaker 1: So I've been feeling this like intense pressure to transform, to follow my purpose, and so, with that, all of these shadows that feel really uncomfortable have been coming up.
- 5:18Speaker 1: You know, I yesterday was sort of having a bit of a low and you know the reflector was saying to me or reminding me, reflecting but my ability, my talents, my skills, my mindset, like all these things and although that was so empowering, there was this little bit of a shadow that creeps up, this thing that sort of holds me back, that I feel like I've identified but I haven't quite pinpointed because it's still showing up, it's still something I haven't fully moved through and it has to do with leadership and speaking up and using my voice, and so for me, like a mantra I use is like I am power, I am strength, I am strong.
- 5:56Speaker 1: You know my voice and my opinion matter and this is something I will continually repeat to myself to empower myself and to remind myself like we're going to keep going right, like we are going to keep going, and so a lot of that has been coming up and, yeah, just anticipating this transformation, I guess in the area of relationships and what that's going to hold and what that's going to bring.
- 6:17Speaker 1: But when this episode comes out so Thursday it is Halloween and this year, you know I'm not like huge on Halloween.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I never really have been.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I think when I was younger it was an excuse to go party and drink, but I grew up in the Middle East so we didn't really go trick-or-treating or anything like that.
- 6:32Speaker 1: It was more like dances and parties and getting dressed up and maybe going to school or something.
- 6:36Speaker 1: But you know, my kids love Halloween.
- 6:39Speaker 1: This year I don't even know if we're going to be able to go trick-or-treating, but during Halloween, all Hallows Eve, samhain, and I'm not even going to act like I really know the history.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I mean, I know bits and pieces of it but I don't really tap into it every single year.
- 6:52Speaker 1: But this is a time when the veil is thin between two worlds.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Right, this is a time when spirits, if we're tapping into the other side, we're really able to do the subconscious work, because it's just a little bit thinner, we're able to grasp it and see it a little bit more.
- 7:05Speaker 1: And especially, you know, with Scorpio, this is all the occult, this is death, transformation, rebirth, sex power, it's all these things.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Mystery, you know, money, sort of like all of these themes.
- 7:17Speaker 1: And so as we're navigating this, you know I'm reading, I've been reading a lot of fantasy, but I've been reading a lot on witches and witch, sort of fantasy type books.
- 7:26Speaker 1: But one thing with witches, mythological or otherwise, they have this innate power that comes from the earth and with it comes this really raw sexual energy.
- 7:36Speaker 1: And during this time, when we're in Scorpio, which rules the sex organs and is all about sex.
- 7:40Speaker 1: This time of year, when we're in this season, tapping into that is really powerful.
- 7:46Speaker 1: And not only that, but we have a Scorpio moon during Halloween, which makes it even more Scorpionic, right.
- 7:53Speaker 1: And then tomorrow so this episode comes out Thursday the 31st, tomorrow, the 1st we have our new moon in Scorpio, which is going to be intense, and I usually feel transits after the fact.
- 8:02Speaker 1: This one I'm feeling already.
- 8:03Speaker 1: So it's going to be intense and I usually feel transits after the fact.
- 8:05Speaker 1: This one I'm feeling already.
- 8:07Speaker 1: So it's going to be really interesting.
- 8:09Speaker 1: But I looked yesterday because I was having a really rough day yesterday, and I looked and the sun was on Pluto for me and Scorpio in my fourth house, and so it just makes sense.
- 8:18Speaker 1: You know the things that were coming up, and that's why I love astrology, because it really really rings true.
- 8:27Speaker 1: And again, I try not to plan my life around it, like I try and live my life and then it's a lot more in reflection of where I can go back at the end of the day, like I've had a really fucking hard day.
- 8:38Speaker 1: What was going on today, right, like after I've done the meditation, after I've made sure I've drank water, after I sure I've made move my body, all these things, then I can look at the astrology and be like, okay, whoo, all right, you know, like this is a lesson, this is coming up, this is okay, and so that's sort of what's been going on.
- 8:53Speaker 1: And you can listen to last week's podcast episode and I will have a new moon post for you that I will probably post today or, yeah, today, wednesday, as I'm recording this intro Tomorrow.
- 9:04Speaker 1: It will be ready for you so you can click the Substack link down in the show notes and read the New Moon in Scorpio post.
- 9:11Speaker 1: So it'll have some journaling prompts, just kind of like overview the energy, all that good stuff.
- 9:15Speaker 1: And you can join the Intuition Workshop if you feel called to.
- 9:19Speaker 1: That starts Monday, the 4th and this is really just a way back into trusting our inner guide, our inner knowing, discerning between intuition and fear, tapping into our body, wisdom and just really strengthening that trust muscle.
- 9:34Speaker 1: It's a three-week mini workshop.
- 9:34Speaker 1: It's going to be live calls, recorded calls, downloadables, meditations, all the things.
- 9:39Speaker 1: It's going to be really great.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I've recorded the first week already, so it's already up and ready for you.
- 9:45Speaker 1: You can click the link down in the show notes Intuition Workshop.
- 9:49Speaker 1: That'll take you right there.
- 9:51Speaker 1: And, yeah, everything else you need to know is in the show notes ways you can work with me longer programs, holistic health, human design, astrology fused together so we really look at your body and your health and what we're doing to support ourselves, so that can connect with ourselves, that we can really do this deconditioning process as it relates to, you know, human design and astrology and the subconscious reprogramming, because it's all you know body, mind, soul, it's all part of it.
- 10:15Speaker 1: So really really tapping into that, or just a one off, one on one human design astrology session.
- 10:21Speaker 1: So everything you need to know again is the show notes, show notes.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Follow me on Instagram at Rochelle Christian.
- 10:25Speaker 1: That's R-O-C-H-E-L-L-E, dot C-H-R-I-S-T-I-A-N-E, and I hope that you enjoy the episode, all right.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Rochelle, how are you?
- 10:36Speaker 1: I'm good.
- 10:36Speaker 1: How are you?
- 10:48Speaker 2: I'm good Excited to finally chat and share our insights together.
- 10:51Speaker 2: I feel like we had this idea of ours for a while to hop on a podcast.
- 10:53Speaker 2: So here we are.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm excited too.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I know it's so funny when, whenever I do like two podcasts, hosts recording one podcast.
- 11:00Speaker 1: It's always an interesting dynamics.
- 11:02Speaker 2: We're like I don't know who leads, yeah, but it's always nice to just like have a conversation and let it flow um, so we're recording this the middle of the eclipses, which is fall eclipses, and uh, before we start recording, we were chatting about how this year has felt like a dark night of the soul, and I think a lot of people can attest to that right and feel like they are heard and seen with that, because there's been a lot of transit, it's a lot of different energies.
- 11:45Speaker 2: I mean, I can't even believe it's almost October, like the year has flown by but it also hasn't at the same time.
- 11:51Speaker 2: So, yeah, how have you been navigating?
- 11:56Speaker 2: I guess let's start with like, yeah, this, this recent eclipse portal.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Yeah, this one.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Well, it's crazy Cause I was just thinking like six months ago is that like complete, like the total eclipse, and I'm in north texas, so it was here and I was.
- 12:11Speaker 1: I was actually off work that day and I was like sitting in my house I had this like really anxious energy where it's like I don't know if I want to go outside and see it.
- 12:17Speaker 1: You know, when you like listen to too many things and you like are so like in the All the vibes of it or whatever.
- 12:23Speaker 1: But yeah, I like sat in my house and meditated during it.
- 12:26Speaker 1: My neighbors were like outside screaming and stuff like that.
- 12:28Speaker 1: So it's wild to think that we're now, at this like six month mark, to like what was happening then.
- 12:33Speaker 1: And but yeah, I think I feel like with these eclipses now, it's just so much has been coming up around relationships and I really felt during that last eclipse like the Pisces and then like Virgo axis, so much about health has been coming up like just tuning in and more so from a spiritual perspective, like listening to my body as like an instrument to my spirituality and like when my stomach feels off and just navigating my emotions in a more, because I feel like I've always been like clairsentient and it's so hard to discern what the feelings are, you know.
- 13:11Speaker 1: It's like is this mine, is this somebody else's?
- 13:12Speaker 1: This is a message, like what's going on, you know, and so I feel like that has sort of been coming up a lot and they're just noticing like what feels good, what doesn't, and kind of taking my time Cause I can be really really impulsive, especially when it comes to my emotions, and I'm trying to just slow it down and really move through it a few times to really understand what's happening, and sort of like we were talking about before we started recording, just navigating things from childhood in relationships and setting boundaries.
- 13:46Speaker 1: And I know you're also in your nodal return as well, that Aries, libra axis, and so it's like that theme of sort of.
- 13:55Speaker 1: I think for me as a child it was very much like be the good girl, don't be too loud, but stand up for yourself, but don't say.
- 14:03Speaker 1: That was a lot of like the narrative that I got, and so I've really realized a lot of my shadows of like oh, I was told that it was unsafe to speak up.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Really, at the end of the day, if you're saying, speak up for yourself, but then, but don't say that, don't say it that way.
- 14:17Speaker 1: It's kind of like shifting.
- 14:19Speaker 1: It's just manipulative a little bit, I'm sure unintentional, but yeah, I don't know.
- 14:26Speaker 1: A lot of those themes have been coming up and it's been incredibly challenging.
- 14:30Speaker 1: So how about you?
- 14:30Speaker 1: What's been coming up?
- 14:32Speaker 2: Yeah, no, it's funny that eclipse in the spring, I felt the same way.
- 14:37Speaker 2: We were traveling back from campaign in California and I was only a couple months pregnant at the time.
- 14:45Speaker 2: And there's also this like native American ritual.
- 14:49Speaker 2: It's like keep pregnant women inside during eclipses and my partner was like, stay in the car, like don't come out, like, um, it just felt chaotic.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Uh, I think that one felt more chaotic than this one.
- 15:03Speaker 2: This one feels a little more gentle, but in a way that it's subtle.
- 15:10Speaker 2: It's kind of like what you shared, which is so Libra for me is my 12th house, which is all subconscious, right.
- 15:16Speaker 2: So like it's all inner child, it's all the day-to-day things, but like that are hidden.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Day-to-day things but like that are hidden.
- 15:28Speaker 2: And I've noticed, yeah, like projections come up or things that I dealt with in childhood that maybe my partner is showing to me, right, and it's like, oh wait, he's not my mom, he's not my dad, like he's just sharing with me.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Hey, this is a healing.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Hey, this is a healing opportunity, right To step through that, to, yeah, honor our truth and like decondition kind of what you said of yeah, like, okay, stand up for yourself, but you know, with conditions.
- 15:57Speaker 2: So I think it's been an interesting year for sure.
- 16:05Speaker 2: A lot of navigating energy leaks, like navigating relationships and analyzing how I show up for people and how people show up for me equal, or if that feels good and also realizing how much time I not that I waste time, but I think I'm a manifesting generator.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I think you are too right.
- 16:33Speaker 2: So it's like it's not about the wasting the time.
- 16:35Speaker 2: It's like becoming a lot more intentional with my time, because when I'm intentional, I get shit done, but there's a lot of like the busy work, right.
- 16:46Speaker 2: It's like, oh, I'm busy doing things and then at the end of the day, I'm like, what did I do today?
- 16:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel that yeah.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Or people like are like you're such a hard worker.
- 16:56Speaker 2: I'm like I have my moments for sure, but then sometimes I'm like have I done stuff?
- 17:01Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Well, it's funny because, like this summer, my kids were gone for the entire summer and so that's the longest I've been alone in 14 years and, I think, having the structure of like our daily life.
- 17:16Speaker 1: But also I'm a Taurus sun and so I feel like that alone time.
- 17:21Speaker 1: I really fell into the shadows of Taurus, where I slept so much I didn't get out of bed.
- 17:28Speaker 1: I ate a lot, I drank Things that I don't normally do, because I feel like, without having that structure of my children, I just fell into all those shadows of just like I don't know what to do with myself and I don't know where that thought came from.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Something that you had said went off on that tangent, but yeah, I don't know, it was such an interesting I was going to loop it up and I totally lost it years and then like the first time where you don't have that structure and I think I don't know, for me personally, I love not having structure, but then when I don't have, like when I, when I have too much flexibility, it's not good yeah, I actually do better when I have things like lined up.
- 18:23Speaker 2: That's also my Virgo moon, I guess.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's how.
- 18:27Speaker 1: So you were talking about being busy as an MG, like always doing things, but then looking back not knowing that's sort of where that came from, that was my train of thought was like I do the same thing right when it's like during my day I I'm so it's so packed that it just felt so strange to like not be doing anything where it was, yeah, like I almost had no motivation to do anything.
- 18:46Speaker 1: But it was really an interesting dynamic.
- 18:49Speaker 1: But yeah, I don't know, I've learned.
- 18:53Speaker 1: I think slowness and patience has been a lesson for me for the last.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, like ever since I found human design, I was like, oh, I have to slow down, like this is just filling your time with things.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Just to fill your time is avoiding you know the core issue.
- 19:07Speaker 1: And also, I think, being an MG, we just like to do things like for me, education and learning and staying busy and movement those are really important parts of my day and I think the summer showed me like if I don't have an element of that, I can really fall into the shadowy place, like I have to keep myself moving, that I can really fall into the shadowy place, like I have to keep myself moving.
- 19:28Speaker 1: But yeah, so I think that has been like a massive lesson.
- 19:29Speaker 1: And, more specifically, over the past like year or so, I've really I've been dating a reflector and he's just very slow, and so I'm always like let's do this, like let's make a decision, let's move this forward, let's do this, and then I think his slowness has shown me like there is no rush, you know, like as long as you're communicating and you know, like you're doing the things that are important, all the other, like kind of fluff, doesn't really matter, you know.
- 19:55Speaker 1: And so that's sort of been a beautiful lesson and like mirroring all my chaos back to me where it's like okay, do I actually need to do this thing, you know?
- 20:04Speaker 1: And also I think sometimes the slowness in some, some instances with him, is an excuse to not be making moves right.
- 20:14Speaker 1: So it's like discerning between like where am I also doing things like that?
- 20:18Speaker 1: I don't know, if that makes sense.
- 20:19Speaker 2: But yeah, I mean also a reflector.
- 20:21Speaker 2: I don't know many reflectors personally, but they're like these mirrors, right.
- 20:27Speaker 2: So it's like you're really being shown lots of yeah, mirroring and like those shadow sides, those, those things, those patterns where you're like, oh wait, that's him.
- 20:39Speaker 2: It's like, oh wait, that's me.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Like, oh wait, that's me.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Um, so I love that though, cause I think I I'm married to a manifesting generator, but I have the what do I have?
- 20:50Speaker 2: Open root center.
- 20:53Speaker 2: So, I don't like being rushed.
- 20:55Speaker 2: I have actually learned to slow down a lot.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Um, cause I was rushed a lot as a child let's go, let's go, you know like just very busy and that will trigger me, but I'm like no, I'm.
- 21:09Speaker 2: I get to say, you know, I'm taking my time, don't rush me.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Like I will do this on my own time.
- 21:16Speaker 2: So, yeah, there's those elements, but yeah, I think we also have those rest periods as mgs, right, like it's also like maybe this summer was a time for you to just rest, a time for you to just be right, but you're not comfortable in that energy.
- 21:37Speaker 2: So you're like like this is bad, or, you know, you start labeling it and it's interesting.
- 21:45Speaker 1: I don't know how you feel, but I feel like I've always been on the self-development journey, like always analyzing my actions and my, the ways I show up in relationship and, um it, it can almost be a detriment sometimes because you're so tuned into yourself or you said you're clairsentient, like you're so tuned into yourself that, um, you almost like don't give yourself a break yeah, yeah, and I think, like you said, like attaching those mental stories to the slowness or to not being busy is really what creates the shadow, because Taurus, even in its highest expression, can be slow and it doesn't mean anything bad, right, but for me to be like, oh my gosh, I'm not doing anything and, yeah, the guy I'm seeing would like constantly call me and I'd be like, oh, I just spent my whole day in bed and he's like you should.
- 22:36Speaker 1: He's like you're always busy and doing things like enjoy it, you know.
- 22:39Speaker 1: And I think having that reminder of like, oh yeah, I don't have to make this like period and like knowing like it's going to pass, my kids are going to come back and we're going to get back into the groove of everything and I'm going to be tired again and it's just like you know, so like taking this time to actually like recharge my battery.
- 22:53Speaker 1: But I think that when you do slow down and you are facing yourself and not filling it with things, that's why it becomes shadowy, cause it's like all those things I've not had the time to actually explore were coming up, and that was hard.
- 23:08Speaker 1: So, yeah, I think, just like so much of this year has been just marked, I guess, by all those themes coming up, and it's like you can't really ignore it anymore.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, the I think we I shared this before we started recording right, we've had a lot of yin years previously to this year, a lot of, like hermit, you know, inward feminine, and then we're now in a young year and I think the summer just like exacerbated that young energy, right, and it's a dragon year.
- 23:47Speaker 2: So it's like look, reflecting back on the last couple of years and like what have we integrated, what have we learned?
- 23:56Speaker 2: And like how are we taking action on it?
- 23:59Speaker 2: And that could be shadow work, that could be healing, that could be purpose work, you know, know, whatever it is.
- 24:05Speaker 2: But I feel like, yeah, this year, oh, being pregnant for most of this year, um has really shown me, like how do I nourish myself, how do I take care of myself, what are my boundaries?
- 24:20Speaker 2: Because I feel like, well, you're a mom, right, it's, i's.
- 24:23Speaker 2: I think, um, I've cultivated pretty strong boundaries, but now, becoming a mother, it's a lot more intuitive, a lot more it's.
- 24:34Speaker 2: It's not just me anymore and um also learning like, oh, yeah, the maiden to motherhood journey, right, like I'm about to let go of a big part of who I am and who I've been for the last couple of years and step into this new chapter.
- 24:51Speaker 2: And I'm ready, of course I'm ready, but it's also like whoa, big responsibilities.
- 24:57Speaker 2: And yeah, spirit, kind of showing me.
- 25:02Speaker 2: You know, the more you are intentional, the more you slow down, the more you are present, yeah, the more abundance comes to you.
- 25:12Speaker 2: But just simplicity, like this year, has been a lot of simplicity for me.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I love that.
- 25:40Speaker 1: I think that motherhood journey when I had both my kids, I feel like I've always been spiritual or of ways and so I wasn't really attuned to the like the experience of, you know, birthing and growing a child.
- 25:48Speaker 1: I was just sort of like, so anxious of like when I just want to see the baby, when are they going to come out, like you know what I mean.
- 25:53Speaker 1: And so with my daughter I rushed a lot of it, you know, and can actually really fully be in the pregnancy and be in that entire process, because I don't know.
- 26:15Speaker 1: That's why sometimes I'm like I don't know if I'm going to have another child.
- 26:17Speaker 1: I'm kind of open to it, but I think it would be such a different experience now because it it is absolutely incredible.
- 26:26Speaker 1: I feel like the the journey.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you you aren't alone.
- 26:33Speaker 2: I have a lot of girlfriends who were like damn, I wish I had that awareness.
- 26:38Speaker 2: You know that I have now, that I did eight years ago or whenever their babies were born and it it's a big responsibility, like it's you know.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Anytime.
- 26:50Speaker 2: I was doing shadow work these last eight months, I'm like, oh my god like you know, I hope my baby's okay.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Like but then I'm like no, they chose me right.
- 26:58Speaker 2: They chose myself, my husband right for specific karmic reasons, and they chose all of me, not just like the light and the, the consciousness.
- 27:09Speaker 2: They chose every aspect of me to be their mother and, um, yeah, it's, it's definitely a wild, a wild journey.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Um, yeah, especially this during this time, right like I, I honestly feel like the babies coming in now are just like ascended masters and we're we're gonna learn so much from them.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Like, yeah, I'm gonna give birth to this vulnerable, helpless baby, but he's gonna be such a sage and it's like really, um, an interesting, uh, job purpose I don't know what to call it but, yeah, being a guide and being so aware of, yeah, conscious parenting and all that, yeah, and I think that's something in itself because it's there's so much more awareness on parenting now and conscious parenting.
- 28:04Speaker 1: A lot of us are waking up that it's like there are.
- 28:07Speaker 1: That holds its challenges on its own, you know, and I think that I was listening to a podcast and just sort of like playing both sides but I think, you know, being aware and sensitive to our child's needs, but also there are certain sensitivities, I think, that are almost going out of control, right when it's, the challenges of life are just becoming overwhelming to kids sometimes, and I don't know if it's just from a lack of actual support in the home or just sort of where just some parents are like figure everything out and just do what you want to do and whatever, I don't know.
- 28:42Speaker 1: I see it a little bit in my own kids where I think that, um, yeah, I think that some challenges can just be like way overwhelming to them and, you know, and that's where just parenting in general has holds its own, like elements of shadow work, because then it's so much reflection on us like how am I showing up for them, how am I showing up for myself, what patterns am I repeating?
- 29:01Speaker 1: And so it becomes this whole.
- 29:03Speaker 1: You, we're trying to break generational curses and to support our children, but then we're also facing our.
- 29:09Speaker 1: So it's just like parenting.
- 29:11Speaker 1: It is a whole spiritual journey in life.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Right, it's one of the most challenging and rewarding, and I know that's so cliche and everybody says it, but it truly is right.
- 29:24Speaker 1: There are moments where I'm just so faced with myself through them and what they're going through, and it's so overwhelming sometimes.
- 29:32Speaker 1: But then, like you said, I look at their experiences and I'm like but they chose me for this life because of the work I'm doing, and it's like we're helping each other and we're doing this together.
- 29:43Speaker 1: So it is, it's wild, it's just, you know, but they're.
- 29:48Speaker 1: They're my son's teacher A couple of years ago.
- 29:50Speaker 1: She said to me she was like you know, these children that are coming through now are so different, like, so different, and you know it, it really is like they're just amazing, very different yeah, because with we like we chose the, the baggage right.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Our generation chose um to do the healing work for our ancestry.
- 30:16Speaker 2: I feel like the kids nowadays are kind of coming in more clear and they're coming in more sensitive, even more sensitive than we are, but it's because they aren't doing as much of that karmic baggage like we are, that we are the ones that are like at the forefront so that they can come in and kind of, yeah, do their purpose or you know, have these goals or whatever, but it's, yeah, it's really.
- 30:47Speaker 2: It's really been a while a wild year in that, in that regard of of yeah it's, it's like we're literally here to face all of this Like there's.
- 31:09Speaker 1: There's no avoiding it.
- 31:10Speaker 1: I feel like it's written in the stars right.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Yeah, Like we're the first generation to really go to therapy, you know or do the self-development.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Like, I think, a lot of our parents' generation and higher up, they're like therapy.
- 31:24Speaker 2: What?
- 31:24Speaker 2: No I didn't go therapy, depression, what's that?
- 31:27Speaker 2: You know, like all these things that um are just so, I don't say normalized, but we really have faced, we really have allowed ourselves to go there so that, yeah, the next generations don't have to, yeah, and we've been given the ability to hold all of that energy too.
- 31:54Speaker 1: I was never my daughter's going to therapy and there are moments where she'll share things with me and I almost feel a little bit jealous, I think, because I wasn't given that support as a child and I'm glad that she gets it.
- 32:09Speaker 1: I wouldn't have it no other way.
- 32:11Speaker 1: But I think there is a part of me sometimes that gets a little bit triggered, where it's just like well, I had to deal with this.
- 32:15Speaker 1: You know what I mean and so, but I don't.
- 32:17Speaker 1: I obviously don't say those, but those are some of the thoughts that go through my head when she feel, you know, I come back to but that initial I think it is an inner narrative, that inner critic of just like, just deal with it, you'll be fine.
- 32:29Speaker 1: You know what I mean Like cause, that's what I received and that's just what I did.
- 32:33Speaker 1: I just dealt with it and you know we were talking a little bit.
- 32:36Speaker 1: I have Jupiter in the eighth house, so I don't know if that's just always given me this ability to just like, paint a smile on it and we're just going to keep going, you know.
- 32:44Speaker 1: But yeah, everybody's different and everybody's when we have conversations in my home, you know, with extended family, they'll just be like, well, a lot of people have it worse and I'm like, but that doesn't, that doesn't, invalidate what she's going through.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Right, it is very real to her and I think that you know our parents' generation was, was from, you know, the boomer generation, and it was just like just shut up and move on, you know, and and so I think that coming down on us, you know, with that Pluto and Scorpio, was that was sort of what we took.
- 33:16Speaker 1: But, like you said, we're we were waking up to like to therapy and the opportunity to go to therapy and probably so many of us are therapists, right Like we took that route or healers or coaches or astrologers, right Like there's so many of our generation that was like we're going to help heal people because we were the one that sort of like initiated that movement.
- 33:37Speaker 1: I guess.
- 33:39Speaker 2: It's so true and, yeah, I love that you share that about, yeah, like a little envy towards your children because, yeah, I mean I think it's also right, every generation does a little better than the one before.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Like, for me personally, you know my mom was was hit as a kid, like she was an immigrant.
- 34:00Speaker 2: You know she, she was abused and she told me she's like I never want, I never wanted to, I wanted to break that and she did with my sister and me, right, so, like that was her, her ancestral healing.
- 34:14Speaker 2: And mine is emotional intelligence and I know that it's really and I work with kids, right, speech therapy, so it's that.
- 34:24Speaker 2: Yeah, like you said, like, how are you therapy?
- 34:27Speaker 2: So it's that.
- 34:27Speaker 2: Yeah, like you said, like, how are you like, tell me how your day is, like really engage in that emotional intelligence and conversation and, yeah, what is it?
- 34:34Speaker 2: Eq, right, the?
- 34:36Speaker 2: eq potion yeah, um, but yeah, that like, oh, just get over it.
- 34:41Speaker 2: Or yeah, people have it worse.
- 34:44Speaker 2: You know people are starving.
- 34:45Speaker 2: Like yeah, it doesn't, that doesn't matter to a child right.
- 34:49Speaker 2: They're in their own bubble, their own world, and what they're going through is so real for them.
- 34:57Speaker 2: So, yeah, I love that you were so open about that.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Like, oh, I feel like jealous sometimes and I'm sure I will too when I give my son things and I'm like, wow, I never really got that as a child, but I think that also heals us right.
- 35:13Speaker 2: When we are able to like transmute our pain from our childhood and to, yeah, do things differently.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, and it's that awareness of those, you know, shadows and patterns, that that allows us to break them.
- 35:29Speaker 1: You know, and you make a good point, my parents were both abused, physically abused as children, and so they same thing, they made a point not to hit my brother or I, but then, so I guess, like sometimes, cause now we're like, okay, well, we weren't hit, we don't know what it was like to be hit, but yet emotionally I wasn't supported.
- 35:46Speaker 1: So there is something, you know, they, they were breaking their curses, but then then there's this other theme.
- 35:52Speaker 1: So it's like, you know, I think, every parent, nobody's perfect and we can't be perfect, and you know, our kids came to learn something and it's like I want my kids to just have like the best life ever and like everything's good, but it's just I don't think it's just not part of life, you know, it's not part of like reincarnation or coming back.
- 36:07Speaker 2: You know so any of us came to earth to be perfect right no and I mean I, I have seen people live very, um, balanced, you know, just like cookie cutter lives, and I, I, I sometimes I'm like well, maybe they have like a really rough shitty past three lifetimes, like who knows, yeah.
- 36:28Speaker 1: So we also don't know what's going on internally for everybody, right, I think some people show a certain side of themselves, but yet they don't share anything that's happening inside.
- 36:38Speaker 2: So, and not to say everybody's struggling, but yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, and like people will have their opinions about you.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Know you me like anyone that they see on social media of yeah, where you literally show like 1% of our lives, and people will make assumptions from that.
- 37:12Speaker 2: Right, and it's just a fascinating world we're living in, because yeah, about to enter pluto and aquarius, so it's right.
- 37:14Speaker 1: What?
- 37:14Speaker 1: What are we in right now?
- 37:14Speaker 1: Pluto, pluto's retrograde yeah, it's at 29 degrees of capricorn, right?
- 37:17Speaker 2: now yeah.
- 37:17Speaker 2: So where's capricorn in your chart?
- 37:19Speaker 1: capricorn for me is my sixth, sixth house, um, but my nodes, yeah, so my nodes are 29 degrees of aries, libra, and so it's directly squared and it's been squared for years, right Cause it's just been like teetering around this edge, and so it just feels really, really intense right now.
- 37:36Speaker 1: And it's also like, as it moves into Aquarius, it's opposite my moon and my moon is eight degrees of Leo.
- 37:43Speaker 1: So it's like I know I have like a few years of just as like intense energy, but I think, with my moon being squared, pluto anyway, I'm sort of used to it, but it's really intensifying it.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Um, but yeah, you, you're you said you're a Scorpio rising, okay.
- 38:01Speaker 1: So Capricorn, third house, okay.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I forgot the degree of it, but um, yeah, yeah, so I'm moving out of.
- 38:12Speaker 2: Yeah, what is it?
- 38:15Speaker 2: 15 years?
- 38:17Speaker 2: Right, it's been 15 years um, yeah.
- 38:20Speaker 2: Capricorn, third house, right like um communication, like now moving into home and family and ancestral, and I know I'm here to do things differently, like there's no coincidence that I I'm pregnant now, you know, and I'm I'm starting a family.
- 38:36Speaker 2: It's like I'm really here to shift a lot of also, like what family and home life is for me and for um, yeah, how people, how people are shifting I mean conscious parenting, conscious, you know it's, it's just all of this um kind of rebellious energy I feel.
- 39:00Speaker 2: Sometimes people look at me like what is she doing?
- 39:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 39:06Speaker 2: That's funny.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Your moon is eight degrees.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Eight degrees is also Scorpio.
- 39:12Speaker 1: For what?
- 39:14Speaker 2: Like eight degrees.
- 39:15Speaker 1: Oh, just like.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Your moon is in eight degrees.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Yeah, the degrees have a sign attached to it.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Okay, okay, and that's Scorpio, wow.
- 39:23Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't really have Scorpio in your chart.
- 39:30Speaker 1: But like you're all Scorpio, I am Well, and I mean even with my son and Taurus.
- 39:32Speaker 1: My earth is in Scorpio, right, and so I think Scorpio itself and I've attracted a lot of a Scorpios in the past I have discovered I can't be in romantic relationship with Scorpios.
- 39:41Speaker 1: It's just way too intense because I'm already intense, like I need somebody that can like bring me laughter and play and lightness and like balance it out.
- 39:50Speaker 1: But yeah, I've always felt like really heavy energy and so when I I think that was one of the beautiful things about astrology is just like understanding, like, oh okay, this makes sense, like there's so much, and for me Scorpio is in my fourth house, so, like my family, my home has and my ancestry, my inner world has always been a little bit more intense than maybe other people.
- 40:13Speaker 1: But it's just, I think too, when you're used to that I don't know, it's like you just just live there yeah, it's our the, the, I see, right, it's like where, like mine's aquarius, right.
- 40:31Speaker 2: So it's like a more like emotional detachment, like yeah kind of you're on your own, like that was.
- 40:36Speaker 2: That was definitely my childhood of um you're on your own.
- 40:39Speaker 2: But then my leo midheaven right, it's like I have such a different private life than the mid heaven that's like people see I'm bubbly and I'm outgoing and I'm communicating, you know just like very out there and shiny, and when I'm home it's a lot of like internal energy.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Yeah, it's so fascinating, yeah, so interesting.
- 41:02Speaker 2: Yeah, when did you get into um?
- 41:04Speaker 2: Was it astrology first or human design?
- 41:07Speaker 1: It was human design first and I like launched full.
- 41:10Speaker 1: I mean I could not stop learning human design.
- 41:13Speaker 1: I couldn't stop reading human design.
- 41:14Speaker 1: And then somewhere along the way I was like, oh, there's more than my son signed in astrology and for some reason I will always love human design.
- 41:24Speaker 1: It's just an incredible tool.
- 41:27Speaker 1: But somehow astrology intuitively sucked me in where I could understand astrology in a way that I could never understand human design, if that makes sense.
- 41:38Speaker 1: It just made so much more sense to me when I would see somebody via astrology versus human design, via astrology versus human design.
- 41:51Speaker 1: So yeah, I don't know what it was about astrology that completely sucked me in.
- 41:53Speaker 1: But I still will follow up or I will still educate myself on human design.
- 41:57Speaker 1: I still go to human design.
- 41:58Speaker 1: I think I look at both when I'm doing a reading because I always think type, strategy and authority and centers and all those things are really important.
- 42:06Speaker 1: But I always think human design sometimes is very left brain where it's like I have to know all the gates and I have to memorize the channels and I have to memorize the collect you know like, and that to me was a little bit overwhelming to feel like I had to know all of that, whereas, like astrology, there is so much to astrology too, and but it's just feels very more, I guess, guess right brain maybe, where it's more intuitive and I can flow with it and I can interpret it and like talk to the person.
- 42:28Speaker 1: It just feels a little bit softer, maybe more feminine to me.
- 42:31Speaker 1: But how about you?
- 42:33Speaker 2: feel the same.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I have always been obsessed with astrology, like ever since I was a kid, like horoscopes.
- 42:41Speaker 2: Um, I would like analyze my chart in high school like I was really.
- 42:46Speaker 2: Yeah, very in tune to astrology, I must have been an astrologer in past times um, and then I got into human design.
- 42:57Speaker 2: I'd be like 2019, 2018 and I realized like, oh, you know the five profile, like realizing projections, and that really resonated with like reflecting back on my life.
- 43:11Speaker 2: And, um, then I had a human design coach and she helped me like decondition a lot of yeah, just things from my childhood.
- 43:20Speaker 2: And she's like this isn't you like, this was what you were conditioned to believe or conditioned to act like because of your human design, because of you know, I loved, I love the psychology of human design.
- 43:34Speaker 2: I minored in psychology, like I loved that we can break out of these boxes that society or parents or teachers have put us into, and, um, it just felt, yeah, kind of rebellious, but also just like, oh, I can reinvent myself, I can come back to myself, but I I love what you said, though I feel the same about the gates and like that can kind of get overwhelming.
- 44:03Speaker 2: For me like I don't know all my channels by heart, um, or my gates, like I, I just kind of get overwhelming for me Like I don't know all my channels by heart or my gates, like I just kind of flow with it.
- 44:10Speaker 2: But yeah, astrology just feels it felt so much more easier to like pick up and like learn the layers of.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Yeah, and I feel like when you weave human design into that, like you said, human design almost gives you a specific framework for deconditioning where it's like, okay, these areas, you know it ties into astrology, of course.
- 44:30Speaker 1: But then it's like, okay, well, you have an open route, right.
- 44:32Speaker 1: So you might have always felt the pressure, and of course we can look at gates and tie it back to astrology, but it's almost like it gives you just a path to actually decondition.
- 44:41Speaker 1: So it is more like that tangible, action-oriented, like logical piece to the whole.
- 44:46Speaker 1: I think, um, but yeah, I guess I just felt like I felt the pressure of like having to know everything with human design, whereas, like, if I don't remember what a gate means, it means I don't know human design, you know, and so I had to like, just like, go of all of that, um, but but yeah, I mean you know you talk about like the profile, finding out that I'm a six, three, like changed everything.
- 45:08Speaker 1: I was like that makes sense, like so much chaos, or knowing that I have feeling cognition also makes so much sense, right, tapping into you know where, why it's clairsentient, is my like, you know, intuitive, psychic, it just it makes sense.
- 45:21Speaker 1: And so there's so many layers to human design.
- 45:25Speaker 1: That did really help me in my journey as well.
- 45:28Speaker 1: Um, but yeah, it's funny, I I think like when I grew up like all of this spiritual, my dad was roman catholic, so we just didn't, it wasn't even like a thing and I grew up in the middle east, so I actually grew up around so many different religions and cultures and like people.
- 45:42Speaker 1: So, even though, like my home was more like religious, I don't feel like I was ever forced into anything, but I always read for my son's sign like I'm a Taurus, and I was like, oh, that's cool, but I didn't find out that there was more to your chart until I discovered human design, which is crazy to me that I went 31 years without knowing my astrology chart, but I was always drawn to those things you know, like tarot or like I remember doing like Ouija boards in like sixth grade and somebody would move it and you're like, oh my God, what is it?
- 46:16Speaker 2: I wouldn't mess with those now, but yeah.
- 46:18Speaker 1: No, I wouldn't either.
- 46:19Speaker 1: Like there were like some moments where I remember like being terrified, who knows what we let in, like truly in those moments, but yeah, it's like crazy.
- 46:29Speaker 1: I definitely would not touch one now yeah, we're around all these religions I also grew up roman catholic.
- 46:50Speaker 1: I went to catholic school kindergarten through 12th grade.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Oh wow yeah, a lot of that, yeah, deconditioning from religion, and um, yeah, like the good girl you said before, right and um tuning into my sexuality and like embodiment, and I used to feel very ashamed or like, uh, very, not a prude, but just very conscious, uh, self-conscious of showing any skin and, um, yeah, it's really fascinating to look back on that because that's your environment, right?
- 47:24Speaker 2: So it's like, yeah, we, what is that?
- 47:26Speaker 2: The environment versus um?
- 47:31Speaker 1: like nurture versus nature yeah, nurture yeah yeah so it's really well, and for you, being a scorpio rising you said a stellium scorpio, stellium too, like.
- 47:40Speaker 1: Can we talk about how that environment would be?
- 47:45Speaker 1: Because I know, like with scorpio it's just, I mean you can obviously be like hypersexual or the opposite, right, we hold like both and I feel like that environment.
- 47:53Speaker 1: If you felt more like I, just I don't know, I've always we went to church like every Sunday until I was like 16.
- 48:02Speaker 1: I think it went through all of the.
- 48:03Speaker 1: You know I did the confirmation and all those things.
- 48:04Speaker 1: Then, when I was 16, my dad was like 16, I think it went through all of the the.
- 48:06Speaker 1: You know I did the confirmation and all those things.
- 48:07Speaker 1: Then, when I was 16, my dad was like, okay, well, you've kind of like done everything.
- 48:09Speaker 1: Now it's up to you if you want to continue to go back or not.
- 48:12Speaker 1: And I just never really went back.
- 48:14Speaker 1: I, my daughter, was baptized in Italy, but they because, like my brother wouldn't get like the, he didn't go to the class, so then they didn't recognize it and so it just all left sort of a bad taste in my mouth where I was like, but if God like witnessed her baptism, why is it not legitimate?
- 48:30Speaker 1: Like I don't, I couldn't like wrap my head around that.
- 48:33Speaker 1: And I remember, like going to like confession, I was like I hit my brother or something like that, and they're like say 25 Hail.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Marys and I was like for what?
- 48:40Speaker 1: Literally?
- 48:42Speaker 2: I'm like what bad things have I done?
- 48:45Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's like I felt like I was like pulling for things to like tell them, to be like ashamed about, or I cursed with my friends and it's just, and you know, I think everybody that is drawn to religion it's their, and I'm not trying to like bash it or anything, it doesn't work for me.
- 49:03Speaker 1: But I'm not saying every time I've gone into a church I feel the energy, like there's no denying that, right.
- 49:09Speaker 1: But I think it's like what we've done with the information and how we've made it work for our narratives.
- 49:15Speaker 1: But just going back to, I think just being a Scorpio, right, like in that environment, feels like it would be a suppression of something that's so innately you and I can imagine that that would feel challenging.
- 49:28Speaker 2: Yeah, looking back, I think also wearing a Catholic uniform, you know, like wearing a uniform for a decade, Right, and like not having that autonomy and just very shut down.
- 49:44Speaker 2: Like my sexuality is very shut shut down, like I didn't date really until like college, like I was very uh, uh, late bloomer, right, but it also kind of must have tied into past lives right as a nun or burned at the stake who knows what for for being a healer and a teacher and other things.
- 50:07Speaker 2: But yeah, I was very suppressed and I wouldn't say it was like anyone's fault.
- 50:14Speaker 2: It was just a lot of like, yeah, for its first house, right.
- 50:17Speaker 2: So a lot of that internal that like body shaming, like I went through a lot of emotional eating and hating my body and like hating my features and, yeah, really interesting to analyze and like reflect on.
- 50:34Speaker 2: And I I think it didn't really heal until, yeah, my saturn return when I was like 30, 31 where I like, really came to acceptance and um embodiment of that and release the shame of all that conditioning where saturn Saturn for you, is it Sagittarius?
- 50:55Speaker 2: Yeah, second house yeah.
- 50:58Speaker 1: Okay, I have Saturn and Sag too and I think that, right, that is healing religion and you know all those types of things as well.
- 51:06Speaker 1: I have it in my fifth house.
- 51:07Speaker 1: Um, so I don't know, I still feel.
- 51:10Speaker 1: I always used to say like I hate dating, Like I hate the process of it, right, or like creativity has always felt really challenging for me.
- 51:17Speaker 1: Sometimes, you know like I know I'm a, I know I'm like a really creative person, but but yeah, I, I it's a.
- 51:23Speaker 1: I don't know that that sudden return is real.
- 51:28Speaker 1: And I like see it in so many people like I'm 38 now, but you know, over the last few years, for some reason I don't know if it's because a lot of my trauma happened in around my Saturn return, where I was really attracted to men that were about that age, but I just have found that, um, it's too, I don't know.
- 51:46Speaker 1: I just feel like they're still like coming into themselves now at my age.
- 51:48Speaker 1: I can't like the reflector is 31.
- 51:50Speaker 1: And even that sometimes I'm like, oh, it's a little, it's.
- 51:53Speaker 1: It is a big age gap.
- 51:54Speaker 1: Like it doesn't seem like it, but it is right.
- 51:57Speaker 1: That's seven years of like you're just out of your Saturn return, you're just figuring yourself out.
- 52:01Speaker 1: Like there are still things that I feel like you know.
- 52:04Speaker 1: Early thirties versus late thirties, it feels like lifetimes difference.
- 52:07Speaker 1: There's so much that you learn within that timeframe.
- 52:10Speaker 1: But yeah, I don't know.
- 52:13Speaker 1: That's why I always say I'm like that Saturn return.
- 52:15Speaker 1: I don't feel like you really get to know yourself until even a couple of years after that, because you still have to integrate everything that happened.
- 52:21Speaker 1: You know you don't really realize because you're so in it.
- 52:25Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I know for sure and I feel like Saturn and Sag is such an interesting placement because Sag is so free and so expressive and out there, and I had my progressed moon in Sagittarius two years ago when I was solo traveling after leaving my ex-fiance of six years, so there was this like that, was this like break free this, like shedding this, you know like who?
- 52:55Speaker 2: Who was Michelle before that?
- 52:56Speaker 2: It's almost like I felt like I had two Saturn returns back to back because of that.
- 53:01Speaker 2: Um where I actually love dating, because it was like, ooh, like this is fun, like I, I have no reservations, I have no expectations, I'm traveling, like I'm just in this like freedom bubble, and, um, I was just so in love with life, like it really gave me this, uh reset and I'm writing a book about it.
- 53:24Speaker 2: Um, because I I feel like, as women, um, we are, we're so conditioned to be the good girl or to please others, or to, um, yeah, not take up space and not be sexual and not be selfish and not, uh, what is it like be in love with life?
- 53:46Speaker 2: Like it's almost like, oh, she's too happy, or like that's toxic positivity or this or that, and it's like, oh, there was a meme or a quote I saw once.
- 53:55Speaker 2: It's like it doesn't matter what you are, you're going to be judged.
- 53:58Speaker 2: Right, you're either too slutty or too prudish, you're too happy or too sad.
- 54:04Speaker 2: It's always this pendulum and at the end of the day, it's like just find out who you are, and sometimes you're a different person every day yeah, yeah, completely.
- 54:19Speaker 1: Do you have an emotional authority aspect of me?
- 54:21Speaker 1: Yeah, do you have emotional authority?
- 54:25Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, because even at that, sometimes I'm like I'll wake up in a totally different mood than I go to bed in it's crazy.
- 54:33Speaker 2: Yeah, that God.
- 54:35Speaker 2: I'm like I wish I knew about emotional authority in my twenties and my teens.
- 54:41Speaker 2: Yeah, because you can really go into deep holes sometimes and think you're never going to get out of them.
- 54:52Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I'm trying to like with my daughter.
- 54:56Speaker 1: She's 14.
- 54:56Speaker 1: And so she's navigating so much emotionally and she has only her sacral and solar plexus defined through the 59, six, and she has five zero degree planets in her chart, like it's, it's, it's crazy.
- 55:10Speaker 1: And so I'm trying to support her without shoving astrology or human design.
- 55:13Speaker 1: Like she knows, like I'll sometimes drop something in here and I'm trying to, just as she becomes a little bit curious, just drop these little things in, because I just think it helps you understand, like, okay, this isn't forever, we are going to get through this.
- 55:27Speaker 1: This is a phase, this is a wave.
- 55:28Speaker 1: This is the way that my emotions are.
- 55:31Speaker 1: But I also I remember being 14 and you feel like it's never going to end, like where is the end to it?
- 55:37Speaker 1: And so it's this really delicate balance, I guess, where I don't want to shove it down her throat because then she's going to completely rebel.
- 55:44Speaker 1: But I went into her room the other day to like put something on her bed and she's got on her window sill.
- 55:48Speaker 1: She has like her little tarot cards, her crystals are out, she's got candles.
- 55:51Speaker 1: So I'm like she's, she's paying, you know, like she does pick up on these things and um, and I think that is beautiful.
- 55:57Speaker 1: So I don't know.
- 55:58Speaker 1: I just keep it open for her to ask those questions and you know she was having a really hard time last week and I was like you know, if you're open and talking about your astrology, like I might have some insight if you're interested.
- 56:11Speaker 1: You know she was like I'm available for it.
- 56:14Speaker 2: So yeah, and she'll, she'll come around.
- 56:16Speaker 2: I mean it's also that it's like you just embodying it, you living it, right.
- 56:22Speaker 2: She's picking up on that with yeah, with the things in her room, and she's your daughter, right.
- 56:29Speaker 2: I think it's like eventually she'll probably get into it.
- 56:32Speaker 2: I think, yeah, having an emo with art, I mean emo.
- 56:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 56:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I was so emo.
- 56:40Speaker 2: Oh my God, if I could find journal entries from my, I feel like you know nowadays it'd be like, oh my God, this girl's on like suicide watch or something like just such deep emotions, deep feelings and so intense.
- 56:57Speaker 1: Did you journal back then?
- 56:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't, and I wish I had a better outlet for everything because I just internalized it all.
- 57:06Speaker 1: I just didn't release it.
- 57:09Speaker 1: But I journal like crazy.
- 57:11Speaker 1: Now I have piles and boxes of books or journals.
- 57:15Speaker 1: That has helped me so much that I always urge her to.
- 57:18Speaker 1: I'm like just write it down, like get it out of your head, put it on a piece of paper.
- 57:21Speaker 1: It's like I just don't know what to write.
- 57:22Speaker 1: I'm like just whatever you're angry about or whatever you're feeling like there's nothing that's right or wrong just put out.
- 57:28Speaker 1: I'm like nobody's gonna look at it.
- 57:29Speaker 2: You can burn it if you want afterwards but yeah, that brain dump is so um cathartic.
- 57:35Speaker 2: And yeah, I always had diaries and journals and then that's like when the internet was coming out, so there was like live journal, dead journal yeah so my friends and I were all emo.
- 57:49Speaker 2: I would be the girl at the concert.
- 57:53Speaker 2: Like crowd surfing and just listening to the rock music.
- 57:56Speaker 2: Yeah, oh my God, Like they get me.
- 57:59Speaker 2: They understand no one else.
- 58:03Speaker 1: I love it.
- 58:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 58:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it's, it's interesting anyone's listening and you know your emotional authority, like knowing that, um, you're here to really feel, like we're really here to feel, and we're also here not to judge our, our emotions or like label them, like just ride the wave and allow, don't, don't allow, allow, allow us to like succumb you, but but just trust it.
- 58:36Speaker 2: And, um, I feel like the more I've learned about my waves, I forgot which one, because they're like three different waves right like.
- 58:46Speaker 2: I think I have the one where I can handle a lot, and then I just like break and it's like really intense, and then you're like what happened, like you were fine, you were so happy some.
- 58:58Speaker 2: You know, just, it was like the camel, the, the string that broke the camel yeah, yeah.
- 59:03Speaker 2: I have that one um.
- 59:05Speaker 1: I don't remember do you know what channel it is?
- 59:08Speaker 1: No, okay yeah, I have uh 1222.
- 59:14Speaker 1: So that's the individual one, and I do have that one.
- 59:18Speaker 1: Yeah, that one.
- 59:19Speaker 1: I don't know, like raw will always be like.
- 59:21Speaker 1: This is the least intense.
- 59:23Speaker 1: This is like relatively neutral and I'm like I don't, I don't experience it like that because it is.
- 59:31Speaker 1: I feel like it is relatively neutral, but it so you know it like it's neutral and then it dips up and then it's neutral and it goes down.
- 59:37Speaker 1: It just has these short spikes, but I feel like the spikes are like fast and intense, like, and they just feel so much more.
- 59:45Speaker 1: Um, I feel like I hit those more than the highs, and the highs they're sort of the same, they're fast and they're high.
- 59:52Speaker 1: But when I get there, I just feel like there's so much energy, there's so much like excitement or joy or whatever it is.
- 59:59Speaker 1: It's almost overwhelming.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: So I'm like I don't know what to do with it.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: Like I'll walk around, I'm like buzzing and like I need to release this somehow, but I don't know what to do with it.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: So, and of course you know, if you have other hanging gates in the transits, activate them.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: You're going to be feeling different waves too.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Um, but that one I don't know, because that 1222 is it's, it's the, you know, social, individual channel and it's all about it's, it's.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: So I just feel like it's, it's beautiful, it's art, it's poetry, it's music, it's, it's auditory, but it's very romantic and feeling and passionate, and so it I feel like there's no way it's not intense.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: So maybe the other um individual one is more like even like that where it's not as intense, but that one I I will forever tell raw he's wrong on that one.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: I'm like you don't have that channel, yeah if you don't have it, because I know what you mean, though, those days where you're like yeah.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: I am literally buzzing, and I haven't even been coughing.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: At which I there was someone who was like wondering, you know, the mental health label like disorder label, right Tied to like emotional authority, because that could be seen as bipolar right, that could be seen as yeah.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: Yeah, depression, that could be seen as bipolar.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: Right, that could be seen as, yeah, depression, like it's so I don't think there are any research studies about it, but it's like if we understood or, like had more tools as a society to understand these like natural rhythms of some people, right, it's like, like you said, like channeling that through art, channeling that through writing, channeling that through working out, right, like moving our bodies, like all these things, instead of like popping a pill.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: Right, it's fascinating.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: That's like a whole rabbit hole yeah, well, I've always thought that manic, depressive with that channel, because when I I'm high, I'm so high, and then when I'm low, I'm so low.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: But I do feel like there is a lot of space where I'm just neutral and I'm I'm cool with it.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Um, but like when the when they and I really had a huge struggle with do I do this or not, because I try and remind her, I'm like, whatever the doctors say, it's not to define.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: You Understand, you're experiencing it.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: Right, I ended up saying we ended up starting it because I was just like I want her, if it supports her and being able to do the work, if it neutralizes her emotions to the point where she can wake up and not feel awful, you know, and then she can do like you know where she started drinking teas, we're doing like holy basil tea, we're doing walks every single day, we're starting to eat a little bit better, we're having more conversations and dialogue, and so we're adding it all these other things, and I want her to know like, yes, maybe the medication is helping a little bit, but it's, it's, it's a whole process that is supporting you.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Um, but that was a real struggle to cause, like there were points in my life where I'm like, should I be on medication?
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Like does it have to be this hard?
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Do I have to wake up and just feel this so often?
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: And I think I was having a conversation with someone who had been on antidepressants for a couple of years and that's what changed my mind about it, because she was like Rochelle, I didn't know that I didn't have to wake up and feel like shit.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: I could wake up and actually feel okay and get through my day.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: And so I was like, wow, if I can do that for her, why not try it?
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: I guess.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: But that was really hard because I'm very holistic.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: I've never like I really I don't even take like anything unless I'm like, you know, it's really really, really bad, like rock bottom kind of stuff, um, but I don't know, I mean, everybody's on their own journey.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: And I feel like as a six, three, eight maybe, I'm just like, well, you know, let's just try it.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: If it doesn't work, then we go off of it.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: You, you know.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: But you know I see a lot of really spiritual people who are on antidepressants and it supports them and it works for them.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: So I don't know it was.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: That was a challenging thing to navigate?
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure.
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: And I mean someone channeled those medicines, right.
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: Like, yeah, that's what I think about.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: I'm like I mean, it's science, right.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: It's like not using it as a crutch, but like using it as a, as something to support you, Like it's so beautiful that you're still implementing, like holistic remedies with your daughter.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: And like having that whole that whole approach Right.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: And like having that whole that whole approach Right Because, yeah, to rely on just like one thing I think in any aspect of our lives is isn't always like the healthiest.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think most medication is derived from plant medicine and they just like package it and put it.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: And I think this is for me like I'm studying herbalism and I just think it's so like to to take one compound out of a plant.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: I think the actual living plant has so much medicine in it, um, but I mean that's a whole other thing.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: But it's just like I mean even yeah, there are so many medications that even like aspirin and stuff, it's just it's from like what is it?
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: Willow bark, that is?
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: I think it's that's what it is, that's a natural, you know anti-inflammatory, or like it helps with pain.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: And it's like we're just we're so disconnected from the root of what you know what can really support us.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: And so I don't know, I think.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: I think what she's been experiencing has really launched me into like understanding plants more and just being able to support her through, like ashwagandha or you know, adaptogens, just like alternate things.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: But yeah, I don't know, it's fascinating.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: I think it's like, because I hear things where they're saying they're going to take the psychedelic properties out of psilocybin and then put them in a pill and sell them, and I'm like, but you're missing, like the it's, I think it's the plant that holds the magic right, like, yes, there is this part that has been proven, but it's like I don't know I it blows my mind how you can make that legal, but then the plant is illegal, right and yeah I know it's.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: It's so wild.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: It's really fascinating.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: It's cool you're studying herbalism.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: I feel like that's yeah I have tourists in the 10th house and so I've always been like really interested, I guess, in just like getting my hands dirty sort of thing.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: But I never, you know, even when it comes to like career or like what I'm doing, and my son is there, so my son and Taurus in the 10th, so it's just been very um.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: So I don't know.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: Like once I I've always like sort of been interested in it, and then just recently I was like this just makes sense, like this is yeah, yeah, because there there is that disconnection, right.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: I mean, we're nature, right.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: And like we forget that, you know, like going out into nature, it's like we are nature, so there's that zero point frequency, you know, know we?
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: There's this like deep, deep ancestral understanding as well, or thinking of our ancestors and the people who came before us, or the people who came before us on the land we live, on Right, like there's so much outside our front door, and that's something that I've kind of cultivated Like I live.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: I live in Vegas and we have rosemary bushes and, like my part, I didn't know that my husband's like, yeah, there's rosemary, and I asked the plant like for permission and I'll take rosemary and put it in my Yoni steams you know, and it's like, wow, I'm taking from, I'm, I'm what's the word?
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: having a symbiotic relationship with the land, because I'll always give something in return, right whether it's reiki or essential oil drops um, and then we planted rose, like he's planted roses.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: So yeah, there's this.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: Like there's so much medicine all around us and um, yeah, it's this disconnect that we've had for so long in our society from what's given to us from mother nature.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I was listening to Zach Bush and I'm probably going to butcher what he said, but he said something along the lines of what you said.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Like we are nature and we've created these like brick and stone cities where we're literally removing ourselves from what we are and we're walking around so unconscious because we're creating an environment where we're disconnected from it, and it's like we do need to go back to that.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: Even if you're in a city, I feel like whether it's having a bush or a plant, or I have plants in my house feel like whether it's having a bush or a plant, or you know, I have plants in my house or incorporating teas or just something right that gets you, or just like cooking home cooked meals and using really fresh produce, like all that stuff will still keep you connected with it.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: I think we forget that.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: It can be as easy as that and it really I don't know it.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: It's needed right now, especially in the us and our food industry, and it's great because even when you're trying to eat healthy, it's like there's still something you know, and I think I mean that could be a whole other conversation but just like our water and everything it's, it's yeah, but that's all.
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: I think that's also like the pluto and aquarius, right of just.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: Like coming back to the people, coming back to ourselves, I think there's there.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: I mean, I've seen it like they're this past week right in congress, like all these holistic health experts have been talking to congress about all the poison in our food, comparing it to other countries, right, like how girls are getting their periods at eight, seven years old, right, it's like all the hormones in our food and, yeah, that coming back like we shop at the farmer's market, you know, and then, make home cooked meals and we're like we pray over our food.
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: We thank our food, we thank the farmers, we think where it comes from, like there's yeah, there gets.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: There gets to be that, that deeper connection and I, I believe it's happening.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: Those are my rose tinted glasses on like I believe that there's a shift happening back to our ancestral roots and back to, yeah, a community and that deep, deep connection yeah, yeah, I even like I'm gonna swing politics a little bit and I I'm not really political, I don't even know what I'm gonna do, if I'm gonna vote, I don't even know.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: But, like, like, I just feel like RFK with his whole wanting to, you know, fix the health care system and the food system, and I don't know, it's him Like.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: If Trump does get an office, I would hope that that would actually be something that would be pushed through and I think that he is sort of out there enough that he I don't know, out there enough that he I don't know.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: But I I do believe that you know what he's doing with the healthcare system, the attention that he's bringing.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: It is starting to get people to see you know what sort of happening you know, and, like you said, with things with Congress, cause I've seen some reels and of people who are, you know, talking about it and bringing it up and we're sick and we're angry as a culture.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: And I do think that it really does.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Majority of it comes down to that because if we're not feeding and I think that's what Pisces-Virgo axis is really going to be bringing us into it's our gut, it's our spirituality and it's the core of our health and our microbiome, it's our spirituality and it's our actual the core of our health and our microbiome.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: And so Pluto moving into Aquarius and then this axis, I don't think there's a way we're going to be able to avoid our physical health within that as well.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's kind of interesting right, that like all these things are coming to the forefront that many of us have known right In the conscious community, but it's like, wow of us have known right in the conscious community but it's like wow, I mean I don't think mainstream media picked up on the congress stuff, but I honestly believe, like it's, it's on, it's on the internet, right, like, yeah, I mean, I don't, I don't spell it's, it's all yeah, but the that's a good point of, yeah, the aquarian energies of the pisces and the virgo, it's like we can't avoid it.
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: And it's also coming back to basics, right, like sunshine, good good food like those are health indicators and, like you said, many Americans I think.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: I saw yesterday a statistic that in 1990, only 20% of the states had children who were obese and now no state has less than 20% of obese children and it's like state has less than 20 percent of these children and it's like what are we doing to our children?
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: yeah, right, like they are the future leaders.
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: And um, there's poison in their food, there's poison.
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: And they're targeted like, yeah, it's not because I'm the same, I'm not political.
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: I, yeah, I've always, I've always shied away from that, even as a kid, I'd never, understood it, um, but it's, I guess, becoming a mom too and knowing I'm going to do things differently.
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: Um, it's very eyeopening, like how can you, how can you poison children?
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Yeah, we're just not aware of it.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: You know, and in my house I've always been pretty health conscious.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: I did holistic health certification program, but even beyond that, like I started my journey in fitness and my mom's was a personal instructor, so we've always sort of like been health aware.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: And I think, growing up internationally too, like the food was so different there and when I moved here I never really had like stomach issues and then when I started eating the food here I just felt awful, I gained weight, I didn't feel good, I was like Whoa, there's something here.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: But you know, with my kids, like I try and cook at home as much as I can, like we really get involved in that, those kinds of things.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: But it's funny because you know, not that I'm depriving them, but we don't go to fast food.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: My kids have never been to Sonic.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: There's so many fast food places.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: My son will be like what's that?
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: Wendy's?
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: We've never been.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: Of course I've been to McDonald's and Burger King a long time ago, couldn't tell you the last time I went but general fast food restaurants.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: My kids have never been to Chili's, you know things like that.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: But like he one time like begged me, he's like I want a bag of blue Takis and I can't.
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: He did something good in school and I was like, all right, I'll get you the bag of blue Takis, right?
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: So he ate the entire thing in one sitting and the whole rest of the night he's like mom, my throat and my stomach hurts so bad, they're on fire.
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, you just ate a bag of artificial Like and like.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: Afterwards I was like I don't even know why I bought that.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: I know it's awful for you.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: And then he was like suffering all night.
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: I'm like, but he hasn't asked for another bag of blue talkies since.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: So sometimes I think that's.
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: I personally think that's amazing parenting right.
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: Cause you, I personally think that's amazing parenting right Because you aren't depriving him, you're showing him like this is exactly why I don't buy this for you, because you are a healthy child, and what they put in some of our foods is not.
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: It's not even food.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: It's chemicals.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: So I don't know.
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: I think that's a beautiful lesson, like you learned, right it's like, and you didn't deprive him, because I think when you're deprived of things, you then become addicted to them when you're an adult Right.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: Not always, but there's definitely a correlation of yeah, not not allowing children to make their own decisions and you kind of help to make his own decision, like, oh, that's a big consequence to like feel that after yeah, I didn't even know they made blue ones.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I, you know there's so many dyes in there and stuff like that, but and they're like extra spicy I guess, I don't know.
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: But but yeah, I mean, that'll probably be my kids too.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: Yeah, mom, what's that place?
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: Can we go yeah?
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: I mean that I don't mind, yeah, but it's like with the food things, like they are going to be going to their friends' houses, you know, and last Halloween we went trick or treating with his friend and his friend's, like family or whatever, and they went upstairs.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: The kids and my son ate so much candy.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: But it's like there are certain things where I can't like manage everything and there are going to be times where he is going to be in situations where his friends are going to have certain foods and he, whenever he goes to his friend's houses, they he's like mom, they have this, they have that, and it's like like cool, I'm not going to get it, you know.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: But I don't know, because I think also there's just a part of the natural pattern of parent-child relationships, or just evolution or evolve.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: I don't know if that's the right word, but once you hit those teen years, there is a rebellious phase and whether it's going to be in big things or little things, if your home life is this, you're going to experiment with other things to see how you feel, and so I just feel like giving them the foundation of this is what it feels like to feel good.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: And then, when you eat a bag of Takis, you're not going to feel good.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: So just know, when you go over and you know your friend's house, you might not feel the best, and so I think that's the best that you can do is just give them that baseline.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: Yeah, so many people don't know what that feels like to just actually feel okay.
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: Yeah, no, it's so true.
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: My mom even apologizes.
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: Sometimes she's like, oh God, I gave you guys such shit.
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: I was like, yeah, but Twinkies back in the nineties they didn't have they didn't have the things they do now.
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: Even McDonald's wasn't as bad, of course, it was still fast food, but they've done like comparisons and like the oil.
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: The things in fast food now are so much more detrimental than they were 30 years ago and yeah, it's.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I always felt like Chick-fil-A was like the healthier of the fast foods, and then I saw a thing where it's like just they're like chicken has like almost a hundred ingredients.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: Wow, like for what?
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: What is in there?
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: That's like not just chicken and so I stopped taking them there.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: It's like sorry guys, when they were younger they would go play and I'd get like the waffle fries or whatever.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: But yeah, I, just I can't do it.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: Yeah, like what, like what, what.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: You know what?
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: Your friends, if you go to a fast food place with them, like that's out of my control, but I'm not gonna do it.
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think you know, when you're a kid, you don't really see your parents as parents or like humans.
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: Yeah, and then like as you get older, you kind of start seeing like, oh, this is why they did this this why, yeah, they made the choices, they did so.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: Yeah, so fascinating yeah I would love to just like touch on a little bit.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: I know like so next year, astrologically, like all of our outer planets are shifting, which is really interesting, um, and I don't think anything's gonna get really easier anytime soon, but I just I don't think anything's going to get really easier anytime soon, but I just I don't know.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: I was just curious if you had any like intuitive, like insights or anything to like what you think next year is going to bring.
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm kind of blanking on the shit, like the other shifts happening, a lot of Aries energy is coming right.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: Yeah, so Neptune, saturn moving into Aries, gemini is moving into, not Gemini.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: Jupiter is moving into Cancer, pluto, obviously, aquarius.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: The nodes are shifting and I think that's all the outer planets.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: Uranus is moving into Gemini too Literally all of them.
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: Yeah, which, which is?
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: not.
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: I think that's rare for that all to happen in one year yeah, I feel like 2024 was kind of a prelude, honestly to like 2025, 2026, 2027, right, like I think the next three years are um, really showing us a shift.
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: It's the beginning of the shift, right pluto entering capricorn zero degrees.
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: Right, like actually my cap, my capricorn sun's at zero degrees.
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: I'm just realizing that my son's in the third house too.
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: so, yeah, well, no, pluto's moving to Aquarius.
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: So there's this, this, um, yeah, this big shift happening where, like nothing and I think we, many of us, have felt this for years right, 2020, but even I started feeling this like 2017, 2016, it's like things are changing and, um, it's like, are we going along with it?
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: It's like, ready or not?
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: Here it comes.
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: And also, how are you navigating the microcosm?
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: Right, because everything in the macrocosm is affecting you on a personal level, and I think transits, as we know, affect all of us differently but there's a crumbling happening, I think, in the macrocosm, and many of us have been feeling it for a long time.
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: It's almost like the squeeze, like the contraction right.
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: We're all in the birth canal and yeah, I mean mean we see it on the world stage.
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: Things are coming to light like people, you.
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: There's more authenticity there.
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: There's less bullshit, if that makes sense, like you can't really bullshit anymore yeah, yeah, I was watching.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: I think it was a youtube video, but it was talking about how everything breathes, right, even the universe itself.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: It's this contraction.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: And, oh my gosh, what's the other word?
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: Not extraction?
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: What's the other part of it, contraction?
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: Yeah, the word is a scare my mind, contraction.
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: Oh, the opposite of contraction.
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: Yeah, you're asking the pregnant lady.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: You're asking the pregnant lady say inhalation, I don't know inhalation, exhalation, but it's always the expansion, expansion.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: But it's like, yeah, with everything you know, it's this constant like heartbeat, this constant rhythm of it, um, and so, yeah, and even with like and I'm sure you know we'll have more conversations to get closer to 2027 as far as, like, the human design community and everything that's happening then but I it's just yeah, I think like this year, because it's it's been intense and it's brought up a lot of shadows.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: I think it's almost been asking us to surrender and just like.
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: It's like you really can't swim upstream, it's so hard, and so it's just sort of like almost preparing us to just like let go, maybe, and just see what, what happens and what flows.
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: But yeah, surrender is huge 100% and as a society, we like to be in control.
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: Right, I want to know what's going to happen and I feel like there's no planning right now, like it's really staying present and, you know, doing the work for yourself.
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: I think a lot of people sometimes will kind of project out into the world like, oh well, this is happening, this is happening.
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: It's like okay, that's out of our control.
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: What can you control?
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: You can control how much.
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: You will kind of project out into the world like, oh well, this is happening, this is happening.
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: It's like, okay, that's out of our control.
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: What can you control?
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: You can control how much you meditate.
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: You can control your emotions.
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: You can.
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: You know, you can control how you show up in the world and that's what matters.
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: You know we can't control our world leaders one person isn't going to save us, and I think that's Pluto and Aquarius.
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: It's like how are you showing up in your community?
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: How are you showing up in your personal life with your family, right, like raising children, like that's.
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: I think a huge shift is happening on family dynamics, you know, and family life, and like coming back to those family dynamics, you know and family life, and like coming back to those principles that like that's what changes the world, is what happens in the individual micro, the microcosm, like it doesn't have to be this big, grandiose thing.
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: It's like motherhood, fatherhood, like that is enough sometimes, because you're helping shape the next generation yeah, yeah, very true yeah, because it's overwhelming.
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: You know what, what's all around us, all the distractions.
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: It's so like sometimes I'll just try to like tune in as a I don't like to say 3d person person, but like a muggle, like you know, someone who's just so in the world and I'm like God.
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: Like it's so stressful and overwhelming, like how are you taking responsibility?
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: I think radical responsibility is coming to the forefront because people are realizing our leaders are not leading.
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: You know it's really up to us to create these environments in our own lives and also be the ripple effect.
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: Like I'm huge on the ripple effect, treating everyone we meet as God, as Jesus, as universe.
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: You know, like really, yeah, I think over the past four years it's like you have no idea what someone's going through.
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: You don't know if they were in the depressive episode before.
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: You know you gave them a smile at the grocery store, right, like there's this deep need to engage and I think that's also a human, a human need, right, that tribal energy of um, yeah, not lone wolfing it anymore.
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: Like really realizing we're all in this together.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I work in the restaurant industry during the day or night, whatever, but um, but I see that a lot like people get so upset and so angry and I know it has nothing to do with the food in front of them, you know.
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: And it's like it helps manage, because I know I, someone may be yelling at me about this other thing, and it's just like, okay, I hear you, I don't think you should, I'm obviously don't say, but like you shouldn't be that mean about it, but also like I know that this has nothing to do with me, this has nothing to do with the food on your plate, you know.
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: And I think, yeah, it's just like reflected everywhere and it's just waking up to that, I guess, or or understanding that not not everybody's woken up yet and we're sort of getting there.
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: But yeah, I don't know, it just helps like understand that we're all dealing with something that goes beyond what we're projecting it as so yeah, we're all doing the best we can with what we got right we sure are there were.
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: There were times I wasn't awake, I wasn't conscious you know it's like because I have friends that are like, ah, these people aren't awake and I'm like, well, you weren't always awake, so, yeah, you know it's.
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: It's that, that empathy and that acceptance and understanding, and not to let other people walk all over you by any means, but to just, yeah, see, like the collective human suffering right now.
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I feel like being on this journey allows you to have awareness of that and then be able to protect your energy.
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: Because, you know, before I even got into this world, I'm so feeling and emotional I always have been and I just let everything impact me.
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: I just thought everything was about me and everything was.
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: I was wrong at this or that.
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: And when you learn to zoom out a little bit, you're like, oh, that actually is not mine, know, and so, as challenging as it can be, it's also like liberating.
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: I'm like I don't have to take that on today, like, yeah, you can keep that there, I don't have to let you in my life and it means nothing about me.
- 1:28:27Speaker 2: But yeah, amazing.
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: Well, we'll have to have more chats because yeah, yeah, it was yeah, I'm like, wow, like I'm even thinking what's the rest of 2024 going to look like?
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: It's just I'm so curious just to see like what the next like couple months even plays out as in its even plays out as in its.
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: I think like I actually think not watching the news is a blessing, because I know people are like freaking out, and I live in Texas and they're very political here and so people are like on the sidewalk like holding signs and stuff like that.
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: Um, so I'm just like I don't know I drive my kids are like what is that?
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: Like one time like people were actually fighting and they're like why are so angry?
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: I'm like I, you know guys, we're just they're gonna go to school, gonna have a good day, like you know.
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: But it's just it'll be interesting to see um just how it plays out, because I think like and even I don't know, it's even um like entertainment, like with p diddy and stuff like that.
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: It's so funny because, like I'll like drop this with my kids, but but when he was you know like everything like with him is aligned to astrology, so it's just so interesting.
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: So I don't know, that's was a side note, but I just it's fascinating to see the astrology actually play out and I'm like I don't know anybody who doesn't believe in it.
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: I don't know how you can not but yeah it's fascinating.
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: Amazing.
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: Well, thanks for sharing.
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: This was so much fun.
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: Of course, thank you.
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: We'll have to do another one Like yeah, for sure.
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: Yeah, sounds good you.
