Most of today went into Fleet, getting six laptops in a room to act like one instrument for the evening's setlist. Each screen used to just show incoming notes, and now pieces without words still get that roll, but pieces with words show the word being sung, lit syllable by syllable, seat colour running edge to edge under it. I recorded announcements in my own voice and got them onto all six speakers, then lifted my line onto the piece's opening notes so the announcement sings instead of just plays.
