• 0:00
Speaker 1: Hey, it's CJ Wilson here with Dope Talk.
• 0:01
Speaker 2: We're one day away from the big time Monday night
• 0:04
Speaker 2: matchup against the SMU Mustangs. As you guys know, SMU
• 0:08
  Speaker 2: is a top 20 team. It's going to be a
• 0:10
Speaker 2: night game in Dope Camel Stadium for the holiday. You
• 0:13
Speaker 2: start the ACC schedule off with the bangs. With that
• 0:16
Speaker 2: being said, it's only right that you have a big, ample,
• 0:21
Speaker 2: a huge recruiting weekend, that is, that coincides with the
• 0:25
Speaker 2: game itself. So I'm going to go over a few
• 0:27
Speaker 2: names the FSU has. visiting for this big-time game, this
• 0:30
Speaker 2: big-time matchup against SMU. We won't get into all the
• 0:33
Speaker 2: names that will be on Kemp's because it is a
• 0:35
Speaker 2: huge list. We'll just go over a few names that
• 0:38
Speaker 2: you guys should be aware of just to kind of
• 0:40
Speaker 2: take you into the weekend and go from there. But
• 0:43
Speaker 2: before we get started, I have to talk about this
• 0:45
Speaker 2: huge tailgate that me, James Coleman, and Freddie Stevenson, former
• 0:49
Speaker 2: FSU fullbacks, are throwing. You guys know we do big
• 0:52
Speaker 2: tailgates every damn year for home games and that type
• 0:54
Speaker 2: of deal. This one could be our biggest one yet.
• 0:57
  Speaker 2: I don't think I've ever been a part of a
• 0:59
Speaker 2: tailgate where this many former players are already, I guess
• 1:05
Speaker 2: you would say they have already confirmed that.
• 1:08
Speaker 1: They will be at the tailgate.
• 1:09
Speaker 2: There's going to be a lot more confirmed within the
• 1:11
Speaker 2: next day or so, especially the day of, and there's
• 1:13
Speaker 2: random pop-ups as well, too. But some of the names
• 1:16
Speaker 2: we do have confirmed so far, we have Dalvin Cook,
• 1:19
Speaker 2: in my opinion, greatest running back in FSU history. You
• 1:21
Speaker 2: know what he brings to the table. Peter Ward, Byron Stork,
• 1:25
Speaker 2: former FSU center, won the national championship and Super Bowl
• 1:28
Speaker 2: champion with the New England Patriots. Carlos Williams, Reggie Norfolk,
• 1:33
Speaker 2: et cetera, et cetera. So many names that's going to
• 1:34
Speaker 2: be popping up at this tailgate. Terrence Brooks, if I'm
• 1:37
Speaker 2: not mistaken, as well. For the menu, we have burgers,
• 1:40
Speaker 2: hot dogs, ribs, mac and cheese, green beans, baked beans,
• 1:45
Speaker 2: dirty rice, you name it. And we also shout out
• 1:47
Speaker 2: to our new sponsor for the tailgate. We have Fly
• 1:49
Speaker 2: By Philly's. that we'll be providing Philly cheesesteaks as well.
• 1:52
Speaker 2: So you get all of that plus our thin Philly cheesesteaks. And,
• 1:56
Speaker 2: of course, all that food with your favorite spirits and beer.
• 1:59
Speaker 2: Red Bull as well, too, is going to be sponsoring
• 2:01
Speaker 2: the tailgate as well. Shout out to Red Bull. So
• 2:04
Speaker 2: you've got Red Bull to keep you energized. And, of course,
• 2:06
Speaker 2: we're going to have your sodas and waters as well, too,
• 2:08
Speaker 2: to keep you hydrated. Live DJ, we're going to be
• 2:11
Speaker 2: doing live podcasting as well. As you guys know, me,
• 2:14
Speaker 2: James Coleman, and Freddie Stevenson, each have our own podcast.
• 2:18
Speaker 2: We're going to be doing some streaming as well, too.
• 2:20
Speaker 2: So make sure you guys grab that ticket for the tailgate.
• 2:23
Speaker 2: The link to the ticket will be in the comment.
• 2:26
Speaker 2: It will be pinned in the comment section in the
• 2:28
Speaker 2: description of this video as well. You don't want to
• 2:30
Speaker 2: miss this one. This is an elite tailgate, to say
• 2:33
Speaker 2: the least. The names we have pulling up is just ridiculous.
• 2:38
Speaker 2: Make sure you guys bring your paraphernalia if you want
• 2:39
Speaker 2: to get it signed. Don't miss this one. Again, grab
• 2:42
Speaker 2: your ticket to the tailgate. Also, I believe FSU Athletics
• 2:46
Speaker 2: and A.D. Michael Alford will be stopping by as well. So, again,
• 2:50
Speaker 2: make sure you guys grab your ticket to the tailgate
• 2:52
Speaker 2: on top of Lot 19, the parking garage across from
• 2:55
Speaker 2: the women's soccer field. Again, lock in your tailgate ticket now.
• 2:59
Speaker 2: Let's go ahead and jump into it. So, again, this
• 3:01
Speaker 2: is the recruiting list for the SMU game. I'm going
• 3:04
Speaker 2: to go over some commits. Well, let's start with the
• 3:07
Speaker 2: 2027 class first. Focus on some commits that FSU have
• 3:12
Speaker 2: that will be on campuses already committed to FSU. and
• 3:14
Speaker 2: some guys that FSU is working to flip within the
• 3:18
Speaker 2: 2027 recruiting class that's currently committed to other programs. The
• 3:22
Speaker 2: first thing I want to discuss in regards to the commits,
• 3:24
Speaker 2: Tayshaun Poole, four-star safety from Georgia. He will be on
• 3:28
Speaker 2: campus for this one. FSU ended up winning the recruitment
• 3:31
Speaker 2: between the University of Georgia and the Tennessee Volunteers to
• 3:35
  Speaker 2: land Poole's commitment. Sam LaJune, that's a four-star defensive lineman
• 3:39
Speaker 2: from Mississippi. This one, well, both of these recruitments surprised
• 3:43
Speaker 2: me because once you taking a deep defensive player from
• 3:46
Speaker 2: the state of Georgia that Kirby Smart wants. You win
• 3:49
Speaker 2: that recruitment, that's a big-time win because those players rarely
• 3:52
Speaker 2: need a state of Georgia, especially, like I said, a
• 3:54
Speaker 2: defensive player that Kirby Smart wants personally. Sam LaJune, again,
• 3:58
Speaker 2: you rarely have these kids from Mississippi that leave the
• 4:02
Speaker 2: SIP area. You know, they're typically going to Ole Miss
• 4:04
Speaker 2: or Mississippi State or close to schools like Alabama or
• 4:07
Speaker 2: something along those lines. So four-star defensive lineman Sam LaJune
• 4:10
Speaker 2: did commit to FSU. has been locked in. He will
• 4:13
Speaker 2: be on campus visiting for the SMU game. Logan Flaherty,
• 4:17
Speaker 2: the quarterback committed for this 2027 class.
• 4:20
Speaker 1: He will be on campus.
• 4:21
Speaker 2: Jackson Holley, three-star edge rusher that's committed to FSU as well.
• 4:25
Speaker 2: He will be on campus for the game. Now, there's
• 4:28
Speaker 2: a few prospects that are committed to other schools that
• 4:29
Speaker 2: will be on campus, like Theo Wilson, linebacker that's committed
• 4:33
Speaker 2: to the University of North Carolina from Tampa, Longwood, big-time
• 4:36
Speaker 2: program down in the Tampa Bay area. He will be
• 4:39
Speaker 2: on campus. You have Darius White, This is an interesting one. 6'3,
• 4:44
Speaker 2: cornerback from Georgia. Like I said, Georgia's... Get a player
• 4:48
Speaker 2: from Georgia, man. Georgia football has really been on the
• 4:51
Speaker 2: uptick in recent years. But 6'3, cornerback from Georgia. He
• 4:54
Speaker 2: is committed to the University of Alabama. So to have
• 4:56
Speaker 2: an Alabama commit on campus, try to have a good
• 5:00
Speaker 2: atmosphere in Doak County Stadium and try to get in Doak...
• 5:02
Speaker 2: I'm sorry, in Darius White's area a little bit as
• 5:05
Speaker 2: FSU ironically plays Alabama in a few weeks.
• 5:09
  Speaker 1: Now this....
• 5:11
Speaker 2: Recruit that's going to be on campus, forgive me if
• 5:13
Speaker 2: I'm pronouncing your name wrong. We have Earl DeMontagnick. Earl DeMontagnick. Again,
• 5:24
Speaker 2: if I'm pronouncing your name wrong, please forgive me. Three-star
• 5:27
Speaker 2: defensive lineman from Ornewood as well that's committed to the
• 5:30
  Speaker 2: Nebraska Cornhuskers.
• 5:31
Speaker 1: So a few flip.
• 5:34
Speaker 2: Cameras for the 2027 class that will be on campus
• 5:37
Speaker 2: for this SMU game.
• 5:39
Speaker 1: Again, you know, you guys on the defensive back, guy
• 5:43
  Speaker 1: by heart.
• 5:44
Speaker 2: So I'm really taking, well, I'm really looking closely to
• 5:46
Speaker 2: the Darius White visit. 6'3, quarterback that's committed to the
• 5:50
Speaker 2: University of Alabama for the 2027 class. Now moving over
• 5:54
Speaker 2: to the 2028 class. The number one overall player in
• 5:58
Speaker 2: the country per 247 sports, edge rusher Cameron McGee from Chicago.
• 6:04
Speaker 2: He will be on campus for this game. Big time,
• 6:07
Speaker 2: big time visit. This kid's a big time playmaker as well.
• 6:09
Speaker 2: Like I said, number one overall player for the 2028 class.
• 6:12
Speaker 2: And he is a trench guy. He will be on
• 6:14
Speaker 2: campus for the SMU game. So I believe this is
• 6:18
Speaker 2: his first visit to FSU, if I'm not mistaken. I
• 6:21
Speaker 2: could be wrong. But regardless, you want to have you
• 6:24
Speaker 2: want to make a good impression. I do believe this
• 6:25
Speaker 2: is the first game day visit for Cameron McGee to
• 6:30
Speaker 2: Florida State. So you want to have an electric atmosphere
• 6:33
Speaker 2: and that type of deal. Have a good show on
• 6:34
Speaker 2: the field because I have no doubt in my mind
• 6:36
Speaker 2: that the crowd will show up.
• 6:37
Speaker 1: The team do their part.
• 6:39
Speaker 2: It should be a hell of an atmosphere going into
• 6:44
  Speaker 2: the game.
• 6:44
Speaker 1: And then, like I said, this can carry over for
• 6:46
Speaker 1: the rest of his recruitment.
• 6:48
Speaker 2: We have Chase Brown, a Florida State receiver, committed for
• 6:51
Speaker 2: the 2028 recruiting cycle. He will be on campus as well.
• 6:55
  Speaker 2: Chandler Dyson, I like this kid a lot. Four-star big-time
• 6:58
Speaker 2: quarterback from Georgia. He will be on campus. As well, too,
• 7:02
Speaker 2: he visited FSU over the summer. FSU is starting to
• 7:05
Speaker 2: make a push within Chandler Dyson's recruitment, so this is
• 7:07
Speaker 2: one to watch. He will be on campus for the game.
• 7:11
Speaker 2: Nation Farmer, top 100 four-star offensive tackle. This is a
• 7:15
Speaker 2: big-time recruit as well from IMG. He is currently committed
• 7:18
Speaker 2: to the Tennessee Volunteers. He will be on campus as well.
• 7:21
Speaker 2: So shout out to Herb Penn, your offensive line coach,
• 7:25
Speaker 2: for getting Nation Farmer to commit to being on campus.
• 7:28
Speaker 2: We can see if he can flip this big-time prospect.
• 7:31
Speaker 2: Another big– this is probably the biggest visit. I would
• 7:37
Speaker 2: say probably the biggest visit of the day for FSU,
• 7:40
Speaker 2: in my opinion. Just position, proximity, and that type of deal.
• 7:44
Speaker 2: That's five-star defensive lineman from local Thomasville County Central, Prince Chi.
• 7:50
Speaker 2: Got to make an early impression here. Like I said,
• 7:52
Speaker 2: you don't– for one, he's a local kid coming from Thomasville.
• 7:56
Speaker 2: Thomas Central is one of the best programs in the
• 7:58
Speaker 2: state of Florida it is. So you want to have
• 8:01
Speaker 2: a recruiting footprint in a local area where you want
• 8:07
Speaker 2: to have those relationships, right? You want to have it
• 8:09
Speaker 2: in to Thomasville. You want to get the best players
• 8:12
Speaker 2: that come from South Georgia. You want to have those
• 8:14
Speaker 2: relationships and get in with them. FSU is in a
• 8:16
Speaker 2: good spot here. So you want to try to have
• 8:19
Speaker 2: a good showing, like I stated. Electric atmosphere. Have the
• 8:22
Speaker 2: defensive line do their thing against a top-20 opponent. Big-time
• 8:25
Speaker 2: five-star defensive line from local Thomas County Central.
• 8:28
Speaker 1: Prince Chief. will be on campus.
• 8:32
Speaker 2: We have Ishmael Schaefer, three-star Air Georgia from IMG as well.
• 8:40
Speaker 2: We have Najal Thigpen, three-star offensive tackle from Miramar, Florida.
• 8:45
Speaker 2: King Fuller, three-star offensive tackle, sorry, three-star tight end rather
• 8:50
Speaker 2: from Georgia. King is standing at 6'5, 230 pounder. So again,
• 8:54
Speaker 2: a mammoth of a human being and he's just a junior.
• 8:56
Speaker 2: He will be on campus as well. We have Seven Rashad,
• 9:00
Speaker 2: a 6'5 receiver for the 2028 recruiting cycle from Beaufort, Georgia.
• 9:04
Speaker 2: All right, so I don't really like going too, too
• 9:07
Speaker 2: deep into future classes. As I just went over the
• 9:10
  Speaker 2: 2028 class, a few juniors. There's a few guys within
• 9:15
Speaker 2: the 2029 class. I know, hey, 2029, so far away.
• 9:19
Speaker 2: These kids are sophomores, that type of deal. Trust me,
• 9:21
Speaker 2: that recruitment will be here before you know it. So
• 9:23
Speaker 2: it's a few names I want to highlight within that
• 9:24
Speaker 2: 2029 recruiting class. that will be on campus as well.
• 9:29
Speaker 2: Highly rated four-star cornerback Omarion McRae from Sarasota, Florida, will
• 9:34
Speaker 2: be on campus, sitting at 6'1, 175 pounds. Big-time prospect
• 9:38
Speaker 2: for that recruiting cycle, so you want to get in
• 9:40
Speaker 2: early and develop those relationships.
• 9:42
  Speaker 1: In D.J.
• 9:43
Speaker 2: Washington, 6'3, top 50 player overall within the 2029 recruiting cycle,
• 9:49
Speaker 2: four-star pass rusher from Alabama, D.J.
• 9:51
  Speaker 1: Washington.
• 9:52
Speaker 2: So again, these are two Highly regarded players within the
• 9:54
Speaker 2: 2029 recruiting cycle, that FSU was trying to get in
• 9:57
Speaker 2: early on to build those relationships. So again, they have
• 10:00
Speaker 2: them here for a big-time atmosphere against the SMU Mustangs.
• 10:04
Speaker 2: Can't do anything but help within that recruitment if FSU
• 10:07
Speaker 2: does their part on the field. So that's the other caveat, right?
• 10:12
Speaker 2: How FSU does on the field. I really think this
• 10:14
Speaker 2: could be an opportunity for a big-time atmosphere to just
• 10:20
Speaker 2: showcase your talent in front of these recruits and show
• 10:23
Speaker 2: what the FSU program is all about and how they
• 10:25
Speaker 2: fit within the program.
• 10:26
Speaker 1: So I'm really excited to see.
• 10:28
Speaker 2: The output based upon the recruiter list we have because,
• 10:31
Speaker 2: like I said, this is just a few names I
• 10:32
  Speaker 2: went over.
• 10:33
Speaker 1: The list is very healthy, a very long list.
• 10:36
Speaker 2: I just want to highlight a few names that FSU
• 10:38
Speaker 2: fans should be aware of going into the weekend.
• 10:42
Speaker 1: I miss you guys.

Speaker 2: that tailgate ticket. It's going to be a star-studded event.
• 11:00
Speaker 2: Like I said, Dalvin Cook, Peter Ward, Carlos Williams, Brian Stork,
• 11:05
Speaker 2: Reggie Northrow, Terrence Brooks, et cetera, et cetera.
• 11:09
Speaker 1: Lock in with Dope Talk. Hit that like and subscribe channel.
