- 0:56Speaker 2: Heather MacDonald. Juicy Scoop. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 1:03Speaker 2: I have a great show for you today, some hot topics,
- 1:06Speaker 2: a great interview with Cy, one of the newest Real
- 1:09Speaker 2: Housewives of New York, and she dispels some really juicy
- 1:12Speaker 2: rumors about herself, which I find quite interesting. But right
- 1:16Speaker 2: now I need to share with you the latest information
- 1:20Speaker 2: I've got about my own life that I know that
- 1:22Speaker 2: you want to hear. So there is new information that
- 1:26Speaker 2: has come to me about the earrings. To catch you
- 1:30Speaker 2: up to date, just remind you, last Thursday on my
- 1:33Speaker 2: regular Juicy Scoop show, I went through the saga of
- 1:38Speaker 2: these earrings that were lent to me by my very
- 1:42Speaker 2: good friend at the time, Krista Lamas, on January 23rd
- 1:45Speaker 2: of 2023. I never returned them. She never asked for them.
- 1:51Speaker 2: And then I went to St. Bart's and I wore
- 1:53Speaker 2: them and I did a real dancing in the sand
- 1:55Speaker 2: and one fell, which was witnessed by a million people,
- 2:00Speaker 2: and including her, in which she wrote a little happy
- 2:03Speaker 2: emoji face. My earring, ha ha. In September 7th, September 7th,
- 2:10Speaker 2: it was made for my attention for the first time
- 2:13Speaker 2: on Jeff Lewis's Sirius radio show that they were in
- 2:17Speaker 2: fact worth $ 10, 000 and I'm therefore responsible for them. I
- 2:21Speaker 2: stole them, I'm a thief, I'm a felon, I should
- 2:22Speaker 2: go to prison. I immediately wrote her and said, how
- 2:26Speaker 2: much are they worth? And I went to my jewelry
- 2:29Speaker 2: box and dug through it and found the remaining earring.
- 2:34Speaker 2: After this information got out, I shared the earring. I
- 2:36Speaker 2: shared the video. I shared me on the red carpet
- 2:39Speaker 2: from the first night I borrowed them to the day
- 2:41Speaker 2: that I lost them. A Juicy Scooper contacted me Thursday
- 2:45Speaker 2: morning around 9 a.m. I read comments and DMs. And
- 2:49Speaker 2: she said, hey, Heather, I'm watching your episode about the
- 2:52Speaker 2: earring on YouTube. And I'm pretty sure I ordered those
- 2:57Speaker 2: exact same earrings, ha-ha, from this website. And I clicked
- 3:02Speaker 2: on the website. I clicked on the link. Sorry, I
- 3:04Speaker 2: clicked on the link to the actual earring for purchase.
- 3:08Speaker 2: And I was absolutely shocked. They looked to be the
- 3:12Speaker 2: same earring. Of course, I wasn't going to take that
- 3:16Speaker 2: as 100%. I ordered them, which is why it took
- 3:19Speaker 2: a few days for them to come to me. They
- 3:20Speaker 2: just came yesterday. And I'm gonna show you the earrings now.
- 3:26Speaker 2: This is the earring from the day that I was
- 3:31Speaker 2: told they were worth $ 10, 000. And Peter wrote the check
- 3:34Speaker 2: to Crystal Lamas for 3,000 in which she cashed it
- 3:37Speaker 2: upon receiving it. Here is the earring. Here are, we
- 3:42Speaker 2: ordered three pairs from the website. Here's one, here it
- 3:46Speaker 2: is in the plastic, and here it is outside, okay?
- 3:52Speaker 2: So you can see all three pairs are exactly the same.
- 3:54Speaker 2: They're beautiful earrings. They are cubic zirconia, I believe. And
- 4:02Speaker 2: here they are. Now, you're probably wondering, Heather, how much
- 4:06Speaker 2: do those earrings cost? They look beautiful. I agree. They
- 4:09Speaker 2: look great. Hence why I believed when I was told
- 4:13Speaker 2: they were of great value afterwards. I was like, wow,
- 4:17Speaker 2: it's weird that you never told me that before. It's
- 4:19Speaker 2: weird that you never asked me. It's weird that you
- 4:21Speaker 2: lent me. expensive earrings, but being dragged for months, you know,
- 4:25Speaker 2: the minute I heard it, I was like, here's the money,
- 4:27Speaker 2: please stop, you know, trashing my reputation, which didn't stop.
- 4:31Speaker 2: It went on for two more months about these earrings
- 4:36Speaker 2: on Jeff Lewis's Sirius radio show. So this, you're probably
- 4:43Speaker 2: wondering what is the cost? The cost is guess, thinking
- 4:47Speaker 2: in your head, making a little fun, $ 42 a pair.
- 4:52Speaker 2: It's a great deal. $ 42 a pair. And the website
- 4:57Speaker 2: is Revolve. Probably heard of Revolve. It's a great website.
- 5:02Speaker 2: A lot of influencers love it and use it and
- 5:04Speaker 2: promote it. And I remember she was a fan of
- 5:08Speaker 2: it too. I remember going to a holiday party with
- 5:10Speaker 2: her where we both were a long white dress. I
- 5:12Speaker 2: got mine at Neiman's and she said, I ordered it
- 5:15Speaker 2: from Revolve. I love their stuff. Now I have Juicy
- 5:19Speaker 2: Scoopers all over, and this wasn't the only Juicy Scooper
- 5:21Speaker 2: that contacted me after Thursday's episode, the public episode. And
- 5:29Speaker 2: I got confirmation from the sources as close as you
- 5:33Speaker 2: could possibly get to this situation that have confirmed that
- 5:37Speaker 2: she purchased this exact pair of earrings from Revolve in
- 5:43Speaker 2: the fall of 2022. So she had them in her
- 5:47Speaker 2: possession in the fall of 2022. And then when I said, oh, no,
- 5:51Speaker 2: I forgot earrings, she happily handed them to me before
- 5:55Speaker 2: the Apple shrinking premiere. Okay. So she knew where she
- 6:02Speaker 2: got them from. They were never from a La Jolla
- 6:08Speaker 2: real jewelry store that conveniently went out of business when
- 6:11Speaker 2: she bought $ 25, 000 of real jewelry and therefore can't produce
- 6:16Speaker 2: a receipt or a credit card statement conveniently. No, she knew.
- 6:22Speaker 2: She knew in the fall when she bought them. She
- 6:24Speaker 2: knew in January 23rd when she bought them. She knew
- 6:27Speaker 2: when she laughed on my reels saying, oh my gosh,
- 6:30Speaker 2: my earring. She always knew they were from Revolve. Now
- 6:34Speaker 2: maybe they were, maybe she paid 60. Right now they're
- 6:37Speaker 2: on sale for 42. I suggest you get them. They're lovely.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Now I want to show you when they came in.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Here is the earring. And the first thing I did
- 6:44Speaker 2: was look at the clasp. You can see the clasp.
- 6:48Speaker 2: You can see the comparison. And when I put it
- 6:50Speaker 2: on top of it, it is exactly the same circumference.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Because there's so much evidence of me wearing the earrings
- 6:58Speaker 2: from those dates, I am going to show you. Here
- 7:02Speaker 2: is the earring that Krista lent me, the remaining one.
- 7:07Speaker 2: And you can see where it hits my jaw. And
- 7:10Speaker 2: here is the one that I just purchased the three
- 7:13Speaker 2: pairs from for $ 42 from Revolve. Now, my question through
- 7:22Speaker 2: all of this is why? Why? This woman I met
- 7:26Speaker 2: through Jeff Lewis and we weren't even very close when
- 7:29Speaker 2: she called me crying. I was in Park City, Utah
- 7:32Speaker 2: with my family. And she said, I can't believe what's
- 7:35Speaker 2: going on with Jeff. I said, what's going on? She
- 7:37Speaker 2: said he was saying all these awful things about me
- 7:39Speaker 2: on the radio. And I sent him a letter saying
- 7:43Speaker 2: to please stop talking about me on the radio. It
- 7:45Speaker 2: was a cease and desist. He read that letter on
- 7:48Speaker 2: the radio. And then he said, I'm done with Krista Lamas.
- 7:51Speaker 2: You can be friends with her, Heather, but I'm done.
- 7:54Speaker 2: And I said, well, I am going to remain friends
- 7:56Speaker 2: with her because you're her whole social life and everybody
- 7:58Speaker 2: around you because he insists that anybody... Now he does
- 8:02Speaker 2: says you can't be friends with anybody I'm not friends with.
- 8:05Speaker 2: It's disloyal. So those people, whether he said it or not,
- 8:07Speaker 2: chose to not associate with Krista at that time. I did.
- 8:12Speaker 2: I enjoyed her personality. I did many things with she
- 8:16Speaker 2: and her daughter. And I thought she was a true friend.
- 8:21Speaker 2: So I still don't know why, why and how long ago,
- 8:26Speaker 2: how long she was telling people that these earrings were
- 8:28Speaker 2: worth $ 10, 000. I know it was said for the first
- 8:31Speaker 2: time the Monday after the Tuesday after Labor Day that
- 8:35Speaker 2: they're worth $ 10, 000. But I don't know how many conversations
- 8:38Speaker 2: were said about my behind my back or what other
- 8:41Speaker 2: awful lies have been said about me that were not
- 8:43Speaker 2: aired on serious radio. that permanently damaged my reputation with listeners,
- 8:49Speaker 2: but more importantly, with true friends that I don't know
- 8:53Speaker 2: where I stand with those people. So I don't really know.
- 8:56Speaker 2: I still don't know why. I don't know why she
- 9:00Speaker 2: is a liar. I don't know why she chose to
- 9:02Speaker 2: go with this lie and cash the check. I did
- 9:04Speaker 2: think it was weird when it was $ 10, 000 from Jeff
- 9:07Speaker 2: Lewis and then it was three from her. Not until
- 9:10Speaker 2: I went on October 23rd did I realize that they
- 9:12Speaker 2: were not real. And not until these earrings came in
- 9:15Speaker 2: the mail did I realize how deep the deception went,
- 9:20Speaker 2: how much she was absolutely aware that she was deceiving
- 9:25Speaker 2: myself as well as those people that she told that
- 9:29Speaker 2: these earrings were worth thousands of dollars. She was married
- 9:35Speaker 2: to a man. That has passed. His name is Michael Lamas.
- 9:39Speaker 2: He was facing a 50-count indictment. So I don't know
- 9:45Speaker 2: why she's going down this same path. She doesn't have to.
- 9:48Speaker 2: I think that she should get away from this type
- 9:52Speaker 2: of deception and cons that I've been a victim of.
- 9:55Speaker 2: I would have never thought I would be a victim
- 9:58Speaker 2: of this. I would have never thought... that someone that
- 10:00Speaker 2: I brought into my home, on my boat, went on
- 10:03Speaker 2: vacation with, would ever set out to hurt me this
- 10:06Speaker 2: much with these lies. And I don't know how deep
- 10:09Speaker 2: the damage has even gone with relationships. So I want
- 10:13Speaker 2: to make an open apology to the friends that I
- 10:16Speaker 2: have lost in the last couple of months. that are
- 10:19Speaker 2: in association with Krista Lamas, that have heard this lie,
- 10:24Speaker 2: along with who knows how many others, who are no
- 10:27Speaker 2: longer in my life. I want to apologize. I'm very
- 10:30Speaker 2: sad about the loss of friendships and business relationships I
- 10:33Speaker 2: have because of this. But I want you guys to
- 10:36Speaker 2: know what I know, which is the truth. And I
- 10:40Speaker 2: think anyone in my position, given this information and what
- 10:43Speaker 2: I've been through, would certainly defend themselves, as I'm doing now,
- 10:48Speaker 2: once the evidence has been proven, which it has. So
- 10:53Speaker 2: moving on, it's going to be 2024 soon. I am
- 10:57Speaker 2: happy to close this chapter and move on. It was
- 10:59Speaker 2: a horrible time in my life and career, personally and professionally.
- 11:04Speaker 2: And But I do want you guys, since you've been
- 11:07Speaker 2: with me along this journey, to know the truth and
- 11:12Speaker 2: how deep the deception went and how much damage it
- 11:16Speaker 2: had caused. And go to Revolve. Get these earrings. They're $ 42.
- 11:21Speaker 2: They do look great. They're a great pair of earrings.
- 11:23Speaker 2: And it's a great website. Thank you.
- 11:26Speaker 4: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 11:29Speaker 4: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 11:32Speaker 4: have faced tremendous setbacks and yet somehow have found a
- 11:37Speaker 4: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 11:43Speaker 2: I'm heading to the Emmys and I have police complaints
- 11:45Speaker 2: filed against me. When your free will was about to
- 11:47Speaker 2: be taken from you, what would you do if it
- 11:50Speaker 2: was given back?
- 11:51Speaker 4: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 11:54Speaker 4: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 11:56Speaker 2: He said, I have a work dad. I need a
- 11:58Speaker 2: home dad. What happens next? When I came in, he
- 12:00Speaker 2: started crying.
- 12:01Speaker 4: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 12:05Speaker 4: those hard moments that they go through.
- 12:07Speaker 2: It's about what happens next. I decided to risk it all.
- 12:10Speaker 2: I realized how valuable every day was. You're worth the work.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 12:16Speaker 2: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 12:18Speaker 4: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 12:21Speaker 4: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 12:32Speaker 2: All right. Now for some real juicy scoop. Well, everybody's
- 12:36Speaker 2: going crazy over this story. There is a YouTuber reporter.
- 12:40Speaker 2: She has a huge platform named Tasha Kay. She just
- 12:43Speaker 2: released an interview that she did with this man who
- 12:46Speaker 2: is the former personal assistant for many years to Will Smith.
- 12:52Speaker 2: And he is telling everything on this episode. But the
- 12:56Speaker 2: clip that I'm seeing that's going viral that I watched
- 12:59Speaker 2: is really quite shocking. In it, he is telling Tasha Kay.
- 13:04Speaker 2: He's saying, when I was working for Will Smith, we
- 13:06Speaker 2: were on a movie set and, you know, you're always,
- 13:10Speaker 2: they're like, where is the talent? And it was kind
- 13:12Speaker 2: of his job to kind of wrangle the talent. And
- 13:14Speaker 2: he also worked for Dwayne Martin, who was also, I believe,
- 13:19Speaker 2: on this movie set. And he couldn't find Will and
- 13:23Speaker 2: he was looking for Dwayne or something. But according to him, allegedly,
- 13:29Speaker 2: he said he walked into the trailer on set and
- 13:33Speaker 2: to witness Dwayne Martin had this very graphic Will Smith
- 13:40Speaker 2: over a couch and was having anal sex with him. So, wow.
- 13:48Speaker 2: And the way he says it is shocking. And I mean,
- 13:51Speaker 2: then he goes on to another part of the interview
- 13:54Speaker 2: that's saying, talking about his relationship with Jada, where he's like, well,
- 13:58Speaker 2: if you're used to having a baby arm, for a
- 14:02Speaker 2: penis that you get with a guy, then when you've
- 14:06Speaker 2: got something much smaller, a pinky or something, meaning Will,
- 14:11Speaker 2: then maybe that was the issue. I mean, he is
- 14:13Speaker 2: just going off and saying really shocking and unflattering things
- 14:19Speaker 2: about Will Smith. So this is out there. He's saying it.
- 14:24Speaker 2: And they have responded. Jada Pinkett was stopped coming out
- 14:28Speaker 2: of iHeart and she said, we are suing. And Will,
- 14:34Speaker 2: I think his people are denying it. Dwayne Martin is
- 14:37Speaker 2: not responding. And I mean, there is no video of it,
- 14:43Speaker 2: of this happening, this relationship going this way. However, there
- 14:47Speaker 2: have been rumors for many years about the relationship between
- 14:50Speaker 2: these two actors for many years. He was married to
- 14:53Speaker 2: Tisha Campbell for a long time. I believe they got
- 14:56Speaker 2: divorced in 2020. They have a couple of kids and
- 14:59Speaker 2: now people are going to her Instagram page and writing
- 15:02Speaker 2: comments under her latest post. I mean, I don't know
- 15:07Speaker 2: what's going to happen, but people can say lies as
- 15:10Speaker 2: you know, and then people talk about it. So that's
- 15:15Speaker 2: pretty interesting. Meanwhile, in the Real Housewives world, Kyle did
- 15:20Speaker 2: an interview with her producer where she said, and she
- 15:25Speaker 2: said this on Watch What Happens Live, too. This is
- 15:27Speaker 2: Kyle Richards of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She's like,
- 15:31Speaker 2: most hurtful thing is that people think that Mauricio and
- 15:34Speaker 2: my separation is done for storyline and for ratings and
- 15:38Speaker 2: to get people interested in the show. And I would
- 15:41Speaker 2: never put my children through a fake separation. I believe that.
- 15:46Speaker 2: I don't think it's a fake separation. I think it's
- 15:47Speaker 2: a real separation, like I said on the show. But
- 15:50Speaker 2: because their job is to expose their life, they really
- 15:53Speaker 2: can't live a marriage where they can step out for
- 15:57Speaker 2: a while, whether it's sabbatical or whether it's a little open.
- 16:00Speaker 2: They don't have that luxury because their life is so
- 16:03Speaker 2: public on reality shows.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Right.
- 16:06Speaker 2: If they do want to pursue other romances at this
- 16:08Speaker 2: time while they're separated or possibly going through a divorce,
- 16:11Speaker 2: they can't hide it. So I think they're doing the
- 16:14Speaker 2: right thing by sharing it, but I do think it's real.
- 16:16Speaker 2: He was seen holding hands with his dancing partner once.
- 16:21Speaker 2: But now he was seen in Austin at their Soho
- 16:25Speaker 2: house with a mystery blonde and they seemed flirty. Doesn't
- 16:29Speaker 2: mean that she wasn't a friend. I'm sure he's got
- 16:32Speaker 2: an agency in Austin. Doesn't mean it's done with Dancing
- 16:35Speaker 2: with Stars. Doesn't mean the Dancing with Stars girl ever happened.
- 16:39Speaker 2: But I did think that was interesting. And the comments
- 16:41Speaker 2: under Kyle's interview were interesting where someone's like, yeah, you
- 16:44Speaker 2: won't do this for storyline, but you've had this issue
- 16:48Speaker 2: with your sister. You've had Brandi Glanville come over and
- 16:53Speaker 2: say these things about her. her sexual relationship with Denise
- 16:58Speaker 2: Richards at your house. We feel that was a setup.
- 17:00Speaker 2: We felt you set up Lisa Vanderpump. Are they bringing
- 17:03Speaker 2: up all these things? You threw Camille under the bus,
- 17:06Speaker 2: all the things she's done in like the 13 years
- 17:09Speaker 2: of being on the show, which those are all great points,
- 17:12Speaker 2: but that was also what was going on in her life.
- 17:14Speaker 2: So I believe this separation and this openness for them
- 17:18Speaker 2: to date other people is real. And like I said previously,
- 17:22Speaker 2: I still think they might get back together. But I
- 17:24Speaker 2: thought that was juicy. And of course, that show is
- 17:27Speaker 2: airing now. It's doing amazing. All right, you guys. Now
- 17:32Speaker 2: for my really juicy interview. I love meeting Sai. She's
- 17:35Speaker 2: one of the new Real Housewives of New York. We
- 17:37Speaker 2: get into everything. And even if you don't watch these shows,
- 17:40Speaker 2: I find this interview really interesting about her life, rumors
- 17:45Speaker 2: on the internet, suddenly becoming a public person. And I
- 17:48Speaker 2: find that part always the most fascinating part. when I
- 17:51Speaker 2: interview a real housewife for the first time. And of course,
- 17:53Speaker 2: remember to go to heathermcdonald.net, where every Friday, you'll get
- 17:57Speaker 2: a Patreon episode about my most intimate thoughts, what's going on,
- 18:01Speaker 2: my thoughts about the different shows. That'll drop on Friday.
- 18:05Speaker 2: As always, I hope you're part of that community. And
- 18:07Speaker 2: that's at heathermcdonald.net, along with all of my merch. So enjoy.
- 18:13Speaker 2: I've got one of the new Real Housewives of New York,
- 18:17Speaker 2: Cy DeSilva. Welcome to Juicy Scoop, girl.
- 18:20Speaker 5: Hi, I'm so excited to get juicy with you.
- 18:22Speaker 2: I'm so excited to get to know the real you
- 18:24Speaker 2: and get some fresh perspective and maybe some perspectives that
- 18:30Speaker 2: were not correct.
- 18:31Speaker 4: Right.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Corrected. I would love that. First of all, you were
- 18:34Speaker 2: just saying, you know, that you were, you stay at
- 18:36Speaker 2: your friend's house in North Hollywood and she's an old
- 18:40Speaker 2: good friend. Yeah. And I kind of love that because
- 18:43Speaker 2: I wonder, how is it like a real best friend
- 18:46Speaker 2: that you talk to on the phone all the time?
- 18:48Speaker 2: What was their reaction when you were like, I'm... I'm
- 18:51Speaker 2: being approached by the Real Housewives. And how did the
- 18:53Speaker 2: approaching come? Tell us all about that. Yeah. So they
- 18:56Speaker 2: slid in my DMs. Like a casting director? A casting
- 18:59Speaker 2: director slid in my DMs. And so you're just going
- 19:01Speaker 2: through and you saw what?
- 19:02Speaker 5: And I saw like, hey, we're casting for Real Housewives
- 19:05Speaker 5: of New York. To be honest, it was I think
- 19:09Speaker 5: I was the first one to be approached for this
- 19:11Speaker 5: reboot because they approached me for the old cast.
- 19:14Speaker 2: A couple of years ago?
- 19:15Speaker 4: Yes.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Like when they were looking and they added Ebony and Leah?
- 19:19Speaker 2: I think it was right. Yeah.
- 19:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:22Speaker 2: It was when they added Ebony. And did you get
- 19:24Speaker 2: to the point of they at least like interviewed you
- 19:26Speaker 2: or no?
- 19:27Speaker 5: So I think they just asked me if I was
- 19:30Speaker 5: interested and I was like, you know, they asked me
- 19:32Speaker 5: if I would hang out with the cast. And I said, listen,
- 19:34Speaker 5: you know, we're not the same. You know, we don't
- 19:37Speaker 5: hang out in the same places. It probably wouldn't work out.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Oh, you said that. Yeah.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Because you were thinking of like Luann, Dorinda, Sonya. The
- 19:46Speaker 2: cassette has been there for so long. I just didn't
- 19:48Speaker 2: think that I would mesh well with it. with them.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Which it totally makes sense because, you know, there's like
- 19:53Speaker 2: a third. How old are you? I'm 43 this month. Oh,
- 19:57Speaker 2: you look very young. Thank you. Oh my God.
- 19:58Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 19:59Speaker 2: But I still think even like a 20 year, 10,
- 20:01Speaker 2: 20 year age difference is not, you could still be friends,
- 20:05Speaker 2: but you wouldn't organically be friends if you were watching
- 20:08Speaker 2: a show because your kids wouldn't be the same age.
- 20:10Speaker 2: You wouldn't be hanging out. And I think when they
- 20:12Speaker 2: started Real Housewives of New York, the original, these women
- 20:15Speaker 2: really did know each other. They really were all the
- 20:17Speaker 2: same age. They really, you know, had a little bit
- 20:19Speaker 2: of history. And I think that's, Good that they just
- 20:22Speaker 2: did a whole reboot, really. Yeah, it was completely different.
- 20:25Speaker 2: And then I didn't hear from them. Fast forward, I.
- 20:31Speaker 5: Think Variety did an article, and it said that they're
- 20:33Speaker 5: going to completely reboot. And then I heard from them again,
- 20:37Speaker 5: and they were like, okay, listen. I said, now I'm intrigued.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Okay.
- 20:40Speaker 5: I was like, you know, a complete reboot of people
- 20:42Speaker 5: in New York City. It's going to be diverse. It's
- 20:44Speaker 5: going to represent what New York City really is. Started
- 20:49Speaker 5: talking about some of the people that, you know, if
- 20:51Speaker 5: I knew them, if I didn't.
- 20:52Speaker 2: And who did you know? To be honest, I knew
- 20:55Speaker 2: no one. Okay. Not one person. Okay. So they probably
- 20:59Speaker 2: found you because you are a social influencer and we
- 21:02Speaker 2: were saying you did a lot with your kids who
- 21:03Speaker 2: are 12 and 6 on your page, a lot of fashion.
- 21:08Speaker 2: And so now were you a fan of any of
- 21:12Speaker 2: the Real Housewives? Were you a Bravo person that watched–
- 21:15Speaker 2: I'm not a crazy, crazy Bravo person, but I definitely
- 21:18Speaker 2: watch it. I watch Atlanta. I watch Beverly Hills. I'm
- 21:22Speaker 2: recently into Salt Lake City. I watched last season, but
- 21:25Speaker 2: this season is crazy. Like crazy. Big fan of Salt
- 21:29Speaker 2: Lake City and Potomac. Yeah. Well, then pretty much all–
- 21:32Speaker 2: so you don't– the only ones you really didn't watch
- 21:34Speaker 2: was OC, Dallas, which is gone.
- 21:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:37Speaker 2: I never watched Dallas. I watched OC only a few seasons. Okay.
- 21:41Speaker 2: But you're pretty much up on it.
- 21:42Speaker 1: I am.
- 21:43Speaker 4: I am.
- 21:43Speaker 2: And did you ever think watching it, I could see
- 21:46Speaker 2: myself doing that? Absolutely not. Oh, really?
- 21:49Speaker 5: I never, ever once watched these shows and thought, yeah,
- 21:53Speaker 5: I could totally do this.
- 21:55Speaker 2: So when they came to you– Did you tell your
- 21:59Speaker 2: husband right away or did you not tell him until
- 22:01Speaker 2: it seemed like you were about to get it?
- 22:02Speaker 5: At first I was like, am I being punked? Is
- 22:04Speaker 5: this a scam or something? I didn't tell him until
- 22:08Speaker 5: I interviewed for it.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Okay.
- 22:10Speaker 5: And then after, after I interviewed and they came back
- 22:13Speaker 5: around and were like, okay, we want to interview your husband.
- 22:16Speaker 5: And I was so on the fence about that because
- 22:18Speaker 5: my husband's not on my social media. And I just
- 22:20Speaker 5: really was like, if I did this, he would have
- 22:23Speaker 5: to be on it.
- 22:24Speaker 2: It would be my entire family dynamic.
- 22:26Speaker 5: Am I okay with this? Is he okay with this?
- 22:29Speaker 5: And I told him and he was like, this is
- 22:31Speaker 5: the dumbest idea. Like, are you joking? He's like, absolutely not.
- 22:35Speaker 5: And I was like, you know, look, it's a reboot.
- 22:37Speaker 5: It's going to be completely different. It's going to be diverse.
- 22:40Speaker 5: And he goes, you know what? If you really feel
- 22:42Speaker 5: like this is something you want to do, then I'll
- 22:44Speaker 5: support it.
- 22:45Speaker 2: And so that's how our conversation went. And how did
- 22:48Speaker 2: you meet your husband? I met him in Costa Rica
- 22:51Speaker 2: at a swim up bar. Oh, okay. Which is... like
- 22:56Speaker 2: there's a YouTube video about it. Okay, so I'm hearing like, okay,
- 23:00Speaker 2: I heard or read or getting bits and pieces. I
- 23:03Speaker 2: thought he owned a bar and you worked at it.
- 23:06Speaker 2: I've heard that too. Okay, so I'm not crazy. That's great.
- 23:09Speaker 2: But it's a swim up bar turned into, that's why
- 23:11Speaker 2: all these telephone. This is where a game of telephone happens.
- 23:14Speaker 5: So apparently I heard that I met my husband and
- 23:17Speaker 5: he was my boss and he owned a bar.
- 23:19Speaker 4: Yes.
- 23:19Speaker 2: But when I met my husband, he lived in Canada.
- 23:22Speaker 5: My husband actually did not move to New York City
- 23:24Speaker 5: until my son was born, our son was born, which
- 23:27Speaker 5: was our second child. So my first daughter was born 2011.
- 23:32Speaker 5: How old is she?
- 23:35Speaker 2: 2011. I lived in Canada for about a year and
- 23:38Speaker 2: a half then. So you met him at a swim-up bar.
- 23:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:40Speaker 2: We dated for two years. And he was divorced. Six
- 23:43Speaker 2: years divorced. Okay. So when you see the rumor.
- 23:48Speaker 5: I like don't care to answer these kinds of rumors
- 23:51Speaker 5: because I'm like the investigation is so bad that I
- 23:55Speaker 5: just– I'm like go for it.
- 23:57Speaker 2: I mean this is so off what the rumor is
- 24:00Speaker 2: that was going around that I read online. I don't
- 24:02Speaker 2: know how it got started. But who made it up
- 24:05Speaker 2: for one and for two? It was like, ask Cy about,
- 24:09Speaker 2: you know, how she worked at, and I was like,
- 24:11Speaker 2: when was he a restaurateur? Like, I was like, when
- 24:14Speaker 2: did he own a bar?
- 24:15Speaker 5: But how could he have owned a bar here when
- 24:17Speaker 5: he didn't have citizenship in New York City?
- 24:19Speaker 2: He's Canadian. You know, I wonder, okay, I wonder if.
- 24:23Speaker 2: It doesn't, the math is not mathing. It's like boy
- 24:26Speaker 2: math that does not make sense.
- 24:28Speaker 5: This is actually the first time I addressed it because
- 24:30Speaker 5: I refused to address it because I thought it was
- 24:32Speaker 5: so ridiculous.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Yes.
- 24:34Speaker 5: Like just if you're going to research all the papers,
- 24:37Speaker 5: research the divorce, research everything.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Do your math. Wow. It's all false. It's all made up. Listen,
- 24:45Speaker 2: I'm honest. I'm very transparent.
- 24:46Speaker 5: At the end of the day, it was the biggest
- 24:48Speaker 5: snowball that I've ever seen. And I just actually was
- 24:52Speaker 5: quite funny.
- 24:52Speaker 2: So you've been together how many years? We've been together
- 24:54Speaker 2: for 14 years. And you got married how long ago?
- 24:58Speaker 2: We got married six years ago when my son was born. Oh,
- 25:00Speaker 2: so you had your daughter and then you guys got married. Yeah. Actually,
- 25:03Speaker 2: I had my daughter and my son. We got married
- 25:05Speaker 2: when my son was three months.
- 25:07Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Great. Yeah. Okay. And your husband had a business in
- 25:12Speaker 2: which he sold it, right? Yes. So does he do
- 25:17Speaker 2: any other things? Yeah, he takes care of our kids. Okay.
- 25:21Speaker 2: So that served him with a life to not have
- 25:24Speaker 2: to really pursue anything else if he didn't want to. No,
- 25:26Speaker 2: he really, yeah. He's just really happy to be with
- 25:28Speaker 2: the kids. Okay. Wow. Well, this is like- Well, I mean,
- 25:33Speaker 2: this is the first time I cleared it up. Thanks
- 25:35Speaker 2: for the question. Yeah, because I'm just like, you know,
- 25:37Speaker 2: and- You know, of course, we know as experienced viewers
- 25:41Speaker 2: of it that this is small tidbits of hours and
- 25:45Speaker 2: hours and hours of things that you film. And a
- 25:47Speaker 2: lot of people are like, they didn't see me with
- 25:49Speaker 2: my kids. You didn't see me do my charity work.
- 25:51Speaker 2: You didn't see. Right. You only highlighted this one time
- 25:54Speaker 2: that my husband rolled his eyes at me or whatever,
- 25:56Speaker 2: like throughout the history of the Housewives. So, I mean,
- 25:59Speaker 2: I do think that is interesting. Now, with this particular
- 26:01Speaker 2: season is that it was a little confusing to the
- 26:04Speaker 2: viewer because of your lives. And I think that's what
- 26:08Speaker 2: was confusion. I was like, wait, who's married to whom?
- 26:11Speaker 2: And how did they meet? And if you watch the
- 26:14Speaker 2: original Real Housewives of New York, for the first three episodes,
- 26:17Speaker 2: they almost didn't even interact. We'd see Jill in her
- 26:21Speaker 2: home with Bobby and her daughter. And then we really
- 26:23Speaker 2: kind of understood, oh, this is the countess. And I
- 26:26Speaker 2: think it's because... You guys, and it's not a secret,
- 26:28Speaker 2: but you had another cast member who then left the show.
- 26:32Speaker 4: Right.
- 26:32Speaker 2: And so I wonder if that is why there had
- 26:34Speaker 2: to be some editing adjusting and why there was a
- 26:36Speaker 2: little bit of confusion about people's lives.
- 26:40Speaker 5: No, she left the show early on. So I don't
- 26:43Speaker 5: think that that was anything to do with it.
- 26:45Speaker 2: I think what.
- 26:46Speaker 5: I think what happened with even if there was some
- 26:49Speaker 5: sort of confusion for viewers is that we're the first season.
- 26:52Speaker 5: It's season 14, but it's season one for us.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Right, exactly.
- 26:56Speaker 5: So we had really big shoes to fill. You needed
- 26:59Speaker 5: to know everything about us from the gate. We can't
- 27:01Speaker 5: be laggy. There wasn't any time to lag. Season one, Roni,
- 27:05Speaker 5: could lag all at once. But we were very much like,
- 27:08Speaker 5: we need to pop off straight out of the gate.
- 27:11Speaker 2: This is us. This is who we are.
- 27:13Speaker 5: Watch us get to know each other. This is our dynamic.
- 27:15Speaker 5: It wasn't, we didn't have time to really just like
- 27:18Speaker 5: kind of cruise it. So I think they were just
- 27:20Speaker 5: kind of being like, Look, here are six dynamic girls.
- 27:22Speaker 2: These are their lives. Get to know us. Ready, set, go.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Got it. And then it starts off and, you know,
- 27:29Speaker 2: I loved the fashion. I love seeing your place. I
- 27:31Speaker 2: love seeing– I love New York as a backdrop. I
- 27:34Speaker 2: love Sex and the City. Like, you know, there's some
- 27:37Speaker 2: housewives of cities that are not real fun to– as
- 27:41Speaker 2: fun as to look at architectural wise, you know? And
- 27:45Speaker 2: so you're really just focusing on the girls, but it's
- 27:47Speaker 2: nice when you get both. And I think Beverly Hills
- 27:50Speaker 2: and New York have that. Right. You know what I mean?
- 27:52Speaker 2: It's like a seventh character or whatever. And this photo
- 27:57Speaker 2: that we have of you guys, you were saying that
- 27:58Speaker 2: you really went on this rooftop and took this photo,
- 28:01Speaker 2: which I love.
- 28:02Speaker 5: It's funny because you look at it and it almost
- 28:04Speaker 5: kind of looks fake. I mean, there are some additives
- 28:07Speaker 5: like these birds in the background. But for the most part, no,
- 28:11Speaker 5: we really were on this roof. We were on this
- 28:14Speaker 5: like little wooden box. The steps were there. Everything about this,
- 28:19Speaker 5: this is everyone's placement is real. This is a real photo.
- 28:23Speaker 5: It's just a little enhanced with.
- 28:25Speaker 2: You know. the colors and the birds and everything. Other
- 28:28Speaker 2: than that, yeah, this was exactly us. Now, you all
- 28:32Speaker 2: really kill it in the fashion. All of you have
- 28:35Speaker 2: great fashion. And did all of you or, you know,
- 28:39Speaker 2: have a stylist as going into this? You know, when
- 28:41Speaker 2: you watch the old things, the girls from the OC
- 28:44Speaker 2: with their sky tops and People didn't know what they
- 28:46Speaker 2: were getting into because it was 16 years ago.
- 28:48Speaker 3: Right.
- 28:49Speaker 2: And now it's like, hey, look, I know, and I
- 28:51Speaker 2: know I could probably get your stylish. I could get
- 28:54Speaker 2: the help. But I also want to make sure, like,
- 28:55Speaker 2: before we start filming, that I have some good outfits together.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Like how was it getting dressed for every time you're
- 29:02Speaker 2: filming and thinking about it? I think that'd be hard.
- 29:04Speaker 2: It was a lot. It was very intense.
- 29:06Speaker 5: I mean, I usually dress myself because of what I've
- 29:08Speaker 5: been doing for so long, but I actually did end
- 29:10Speaker 5: up hiring a stylist because I was still working as
- 29:13Speaker 5: an influencer full time. So for me, to have to
- 29:17Speaker 5: call my clients, do polls, borrow clothes, do all the things.
- 29:20Speaker 5: It got very overwhelming for me. So I said, you
- 29:22Speaker 5: know what, if I can allocate some, some money for
- 29:25Speaker 5: just the stylist and that's all they do, I don't
- 29:28Speaker 5: have to think about that aspect of it.
- 29:30Speaker 2: So for me, it made sense.
- 29:31Speaker 5: And I also create content for a living that I
- 29:33Speaker 5: kill two birds with one stone by also creating content
- 29:36Speaker 5: with the clothes that he gets me. So that made sense. Um,
- 29:40Speaker 5: Not everyone had a stylist. No, they all kind of
- 29:43Speaker 5: just dress themselves.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Not everyone. I think maybe two or three people had
- 29:47Speaker 2: a stylist for certain events. Yes. But otherwise, people just
- 29:50Speaker 2: dress themselves. Well, I think they all did a great job. Yeah,
- 29:53Speaker 2: I think everyone is a very fashionable cast. Very fashionable.
- 29:57Speaker 5: We have our own personalities. Everyone's super different. It shows
- 30:01Speaker 5: by what we wear.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Right. So we start to get to know you guys.
- 30:08Speaker 2: And now the first argument, whatever, is you're at BravoCon
- 30:13Speaker 2: last year. They announce your show. And then you're free
- 30:17Speaker 2: to go off for an evening. And Aaron goes, I
- 30:21Speaker 2: have a table at whatever. Can we say it now? Yeah, Catch. Okay,
- 30:27Speaker 2: they says Catch. And now were you really just not
- 30:30Speaker 2: feeling the restaurant or did you just already have a
- 30:33Speaker 2: reservation someone else better and you just felt like going there?
- 30:35Speaker 2: What happened of going to Cipriani's over Catch? No, actually
- 30:39Speaker 2: it was a group chat. So it was a group chat.
- 30:42Speaker 2: It was like, I'm going to Catch.
- 30:43Speaker 5: Okay. And then I think Brynn hit me and was like,
- 30:48Speaker 5: I don't want to go there. I said, I don't
- 30:49Speaker 5: really want to go either, but I'll go for a drink.
- 30:52Speaker 5: And then I said, okay, do you want to go
- 30:54Speaker 5: to Casa Cipriani to go and eat? And she's like, okay, yeah,
- 30:56Speaker 5: so we'll break off. Because Erin ended up getting a
- 30:59Speaker 5: reservation for 10, which we all know getting a reservation
- 31:01Speaker 5: last minute is extremely hard, which is why she ended
- 31:04Speaker 5: up going with Catch. So that evening, I thought that
- 31:07Speaker 5: I was– I told Erin. I sent her a message.
- 31:09Speaker 5: I said, hey, by the way, I'm not going to
- 31:11Speaker 5: stay for dinner. I'll stay for drinks. And– At the
- 31:14Speaker 5: end of the night, actually no one even said that
- 31:17Speaker 5: they weren't going to catch. Everyone actually just left me.
- 31:20Speaker 5: I was the last person to leave. So Aaron was there.
- 31:23Speaker 5: Everyone was there.
- 31:24Speaker 2: They all left out. And I was the last person.
- 31:26Speaker 2: They all left and had their own dinners?
- 31:28Speaker 5: No one ever told me, hey, we're not going to
- 31:31Speaker 5: catch anymore for a drink or anything.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Everyone just left. Oh, you mean everyone never showed up
- 31:35Speaker 2: to catch? Only you showed up to catch? No, no, no.
- 31:37Speaker 2: So we left. Oh, sorry about that. We left BravoCon. Okay.
- 31:40Speaker 2: So as we were leaving BravoCon, everyone was saying bye
- 31:43Speaker 2: and leaving. Oh. But no one ever said, hey, our
- 31:45Speaker 2: plans are canceled. Oh. Oh.
- 31:48Speaker 5: But still, I had every intention of going to dinner
- 31:50Speaker 5: later on that night with Brynn, but I was going
- 31:53Speaker 5: to go to Catch to.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Have a drink. So Catch never happened. Not for me.
- 31:57Speaker 2: I think it happened for Erin and maybe Jessel.
- 32:00Speaker 4: Oh.
- 32:01Speaker 2: But it never- Then they saw the post.
- 32:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Then they saw that we were at Cipriani. And then
- 32:05Speaker 2: you start filming and it gets brought up. Yeah. Okay.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Got it. And then the cheese platter was that she
- 32:13Speaker 2: said- You said, are you having dinner? And she goes, no,
- 32:16Speaker 2: I'm just having like a cheese platter. No, that whole
- 32:20Speaker 2: thing was misconstrued. Okay, what was that?
- 32:22Speaker 5: That whole thing was ridiculous. So we decided to get together, me, Jessel, Uba, Erin.
- 32:28Speaker 5: Erin decided to do a little something at her house.
- 32:31Speaker 5: She was like, we're going to do drinks.
- 32:34Speaker 2: And I called her. It was in the evening. It
- 32:35Speaker 2: was around 8 o'clock. And I called her and I
- 32:36Speaker 2: was like, so should we order food? What are we
- 32:39Speaker 2: doing for dinner? And she was like, no, I'm just
- 32:40Speaker 2: going to have drinks. I said, cool. So I made
- 32:42Speaker 2: sure to eat beforehand. Came over, brought her a bottle
- 32:45Speaker 2: of champagne. She had a cheese plate.
- 32:47Speaker 5: Loved the cheese. I was like, oh, oh my God,
- 32:49Speaker 5: I love this cheese. I think it was like Drunken
- 32:50Speaker 5: Goat or something. And she goes, oh my God, me too.
- 32:53Speaker 5: I got it from Farmer's Market.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Cool.
- 32:55Speaker 5: Had the best time ever. We all had a great time.
- 32:57Speaker 5: We drank except for Uba because she doesn't drink. And
- 33:00Speaker 5: was this filmed or not filmed? This was not filmed.
- 33:02Speaker 5: This was just us hanging out, having a good time.
- 33:05Speaker 5: And then next thing you know, I meet Brynn and
- 33:08Speaker 5: Brynn was like, oh, funny. Erin said that you went
- 33:10Speaker 5: to her house and said, is this all we're having?
- 33:12Speaker 5: Is this cheese thing? And I'm like, but I never
- 33:17Speaker 5: said that. So it insinuated that I was being rude,
- 33:19Speaker 5: but it never happened. Erin and I ended up talking
- 33:22Speaker 5: about it and we squashed the beef. Well, you were
- 33:26Speaker 5: mad at the reunion. I was so upset about it
- 33:28Speaker 5: because I'm like, it's the stupidest argument.
- 33:32Speaker 2: It's ridiculous. But at the reunion, I was like, can
- 33:35Speaker 2: you just please admit that I never said it? And
- 33:38Speaker 2: did she? Yeah, she did.
- 33:39Speaker 4: Okay.
- 33:41Speaker 2: Well, I am someone that gets very hungry as well.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Okay, great.
- 33:45Speaker 2: And like if I– like I'm excited. Like tonight I'm
- 33:49Speaker 2: going to like a wine pairing thing. And so I
- 33:51Speaker 2: like plan for it. Like I had a small Trader
- 33:53Speaker 2: Joe's salad at 12 and that's it. Like I'm showing
- 33:57Speaker 2: up at that thing at 5.30 freaking hungry. I like
- 34:00Speaker 2: to be hungry. Food is good. I don't understand. I
- 34:03Speaker 2: mean– People that are no longer hungry because they're on Ozempic,
- 34:07Speaker 2: I think it's kind of sad. You're missing out. You're
- 34:09Speaker 2: missing out. Food is such– it brings so much joy.
- 34:13Speaker 2: I know. It's like so much joy. So, like, it
- 34:15Speaker 2: did not bother me that you would ask about food
- 34:18Speaker 2: to me because, like, one thing I do is– and
- 34:22Speaker 2: I've said it and my friends know. And I try
- 34:25Speaker 2: to be more sensitive to people that don't enjoy this.
- 34:28Speaker 2: But I believe I'm one of the world's best orderers. Okay.
- 34:32Speaker 2: I think it's an art. I think it could be
- 34:35Speaker 2: a great competition show, okay, where you go to a
- 34:38Speaker 2: restaurant and now my friends know, just let Heather do it,
- 34:43Speaker 2: you know? And I'm very conscious that this person doesn't
- 34:45Speaker 2: eat meat. This one's a vegetarian. And I look at
- 34:48Speaker 2: the menu and I decide how many apps, a variety
- 34:52Speaker 2: of them, how many different meals, a fish, a chicken,
- 34:55Speaker 2: who wants the brins, you know? I love this. And
- 34:58Speaker 2: the goal is everyone's satisfied and there's no leftovers. We
- 35:02Speaker 2: didn't over-order. This is like ideal. And most people love
- 35:08Speaker 2: to just buy sister stuff. But once in a while,
- 35:11Speaker 2: I'll know that someone's like, no, I want my own salmon.
- 35:13Speaker 2: And I'm like, okay, that's fine. So I do ask
- 35:16Speaker 2: now if I can have it. And it is my
- 35:19Speaker 2: selfish way of being able to try everything on the menu. No,
- 35:22Speaker 2: I love it. I would love for someone to do
- 35:24Speaker 2: that for me. Usually when I go out with my husband,
- 35:26Speaker 2: he's like, just order for me. And sometimes I'm like,
- 35:28Speaker 2: please just order for me. But, I mean, I'm used
- 35:32Speaker 2: to doing all that. But I don't do it as
- 35:33Speaker 2: well as you do. That's amazing. First of all, I'm salivating.
- 35:36Speaker 2: And I'm like, I just had a sandwich. But there
- 35:39Speaker 2: are people, too, that do need to eat, like, every
- 35:42Speaker 2: few hours. That is me. It is their thing. And, like,
- 35:45Speaker 2: I was with my son this weekend. And it's, like,
- 35:47Speaker 2: a completely different– I mean, he's 6'4. Like, I'm like,
- 35:51Speaker 2: you're being such a dick. We need to get food now.
- 35:54Speaker 2: And my sister was with me. And I'm like, if
- 35:56Speaker 2: I don't get Drake– It's so true. Like a burger
- 35:59Speaker 2: or something. And then it's like completely a delight 10
- 36:01Speaker 2: minutes later. But it's like your blood sugar dips. Your
- 36:03Speaker 2: personality is gone. Like you're just like a totally hangry bitch.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Like it just totally changed when you're hungry and you're
- 36:11Speaker 2: not eating. So sorry. It was my thing.
- 36:13Speaker 5: And again, I apologize for all the things.
- 36:15Speaker 2: That I said when I was hangry. That is fine. Now,
- 36:18Speaker 2: the other thing is we get to know everyone's childhood.
- 36:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 36:21Speaker 2: Which everyone had a pretty interesting childhood. And I think
- 36:24Speaker 2: that is important to get to know someone. But I
- 36:27Speaker 2: did feel it was portrayed in a way that it
- 36:31Speaker 2: was a little bit of a competition of like who
- 36:33Speaker 2: had the shittier, sadder childhood. And it felt like that
- 36:37Speaker 2: a little bit. And so there was that. But then
- 36:43Speaker 2: I also want to say this other thing that I
- 36:44Speaker 2: noticed about shows and I'm conscious to of this. And
- 36:48Speaker 2: I think it's from watching Housewives and stuff. Is the
- 36:52Speaker 2: don't make it about yourself. Right. Instead, and there's two
- 36:55Speaker 2: ways to look at it. If you say, like I
- 36:57Speaker 2: remember old Real Housewives, Brandi Glanville on Beverly Hills. There
- 37:02Speaker 2: was a girl with beautiful hair. What was her name? Joan?
- 37:07Speaker 2: What was her name? She was, no, she was Puerto Rican.
- 37:11Speaker 2: She had long, gorgeous hair. Joyce. Joyce. Yes. I remember her.
- 37:16Speaker 2: So she was the first Puerto Rican.
- 37:17Speaker 4: Yes. Yes.
- 37:18Speaker 2: And Brandy didn't really love her. But anyway, Brandy had
- 37:20Speaker 2: a horrible night where she was away from her kids
- 37:23Speaker 2: filming and they found out like the little dog had
- 37:25Speaker 2: died or something.
- 37:26Speaker 4: Oh, gosh.
- 37:26Speaker 2: And so she's crying, crying. And Joyce is being very nice.
- 37:30Speaker 2: And she was like, oh, my gosh. You know, I
- 37:32Speaker 2: know how you feel. You know, we lost a dog
- 37:34Speaker 2: last year. And she just goes, Joyce, it's not about you.
- 37:38Speaker 2: And I remember watching that and being like, I don't know.
- 37:42Speaker 2: It's a really hard thing to do. She was trying
- 37:44Speaker 2: to connect. You can try to connect. And so you
- 37:47Speaker 2: had shared about your childhood and that your mom suffered
- 37:50Speaker 2: from alcoholism.
- 37:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:51Speaker 2: And at one point, Jessel says, you know, my uncle
- 37:56Speaker 2: also was an alcoholic. And I get it. It's not
- 37:58Speaker 2: the same as a mom. But a lot of people
- 38:01Speaker 2: had stuff to say about your reaction of being like,
- 38:04Speaker 2: I don't care. You're acting real bitchy. You're like, I
- 38:06Speaker 2: don't care. You know, actually, I don't really care. It's not.
- 38:08Speaker 2: I said I didn't say I didn't care about her uncle.
- 38:11Speaker 3: Right.
- 38:11Speaker 2: I think that this is like what's going on. Yes.
- 38:14Speaker 2: She brought me to lunch to ask me if we're good. Right.
- 38:18Speaker 5: And I was like, it's not I didn't care about her.
- 38:21Speaker 5: I didn't I didn't care about we didn't need to
- 38:24Speaker 5: go to lunch at this moment. You could have just
- 38:26Speaker 5: called me or like.
- 38:27Speaker 2: But are you also going to lunch because you have
- 38:29Speaker 2: a good scene then? I didn't really want to go
- 38:32Speaker 2: to the lunch. Okay. Because you weren't feeling the vibe
- 38:35Speaker 2: at the time? I was working. I was already stressed out.
- 38:37Speaker 2: There was a lot going on. Okay. At the time,
- 38:40Speaker 2: me and Jessel just really didn't click.
- 38:42Speaker 4: Okay.
- 38:42Speaker 1: You know?
- 38:42Speaker 2: And that's okay. Not everybody is going to click. Or
- 38:46Speaker 2: click right away. Or click right away. Like next season
- 38:48Speaker 2: you could click.
- 38:49Speaker 5: Look, at the end of the day, I don't. I
- 38:50Speaker 5: didn't know Jessel. I just got to know her through filming.
- 38:54Speaker 5: So let's just be honest. And I didn't know her.
- 38:58Speaker 5: We started knowing each other. There are things about her
- 39:02Speaker 5: that drove me crazy. I'm sure there are things about
- 39:04Speaker 5: me that drove her crazy at the end of the day.
- 39:06Speaker 5: So this lunch was just It was just too much
- 39:09Speaker 5: for me.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Right. And again, it wasn't because when I heard about
- 39:12Speaker 2: her uncle, I felt terrible. Yeah.
- 39:14Speaker 5: But I wasn't saying I didn't care because of her uncle.
- 39:18Speaker 5: I just didn't care to be in this moment. Got it.
- 39:21Speaker 5: She didn't have to explain to herself to me is
- 39:24Speaker 5: what I was saying.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Like, I don't care. You don't have to explain yourself
- 39:27Speaker 2: to me. I also think in this day and age.
- 39:30Speaker 2: there's this weird thing that I never heard until 2020.
- 39:34Speaker 2: which is almost like a flex to say, I didn't
- 39:40Speaker 2: have it good. Really? It's this big thing that's happening
- 39:44Speaker 2: where it's like, no, let me remind you, I'm self-made. No,
- 39:47Speaker 2: I didn't have it that well. And I've even joked
- 39:49Speaker 2: about the fact I had a very nice childhood. You know,
- 39:53Speaker 2: lived in a nice house, but am I going to go,
- 39:56Speaker 2: but we only had one? Like, I just was like, no,
- 39:59Speaker 2: like I never wanted for anything. I always felt lucky.
- 40:01Speaker 2: I didn't even know people had other houses until I
- 40:03Speaker 2: got to college. I didn't even know what a trust
- 40:05Speaker 2: fund was until after college, but I never needed anything.
- 40:08Speaker 2: But now I feel like there's this thing now with...
- 40:12Speaker 2: I never heard the expression generational wealth until two years ago.
- 40:15Speaker 2: And now people trying to be like, you have generational wealth,
- 40:19Speaker 2: but I don't. And I feel like that was a
- 40:21Speaker 2: big conversation. And I wonder if she was trying to
- 40:24Speaker 2: set the record straight of being like... Look, I've had
- 40:27Speaker 2: some really great things in my life, but I've also
- 40:28Speaker 2: had some things that I suffered with. And I want
- 40:31Speaker 2: to make sure everyone knows that I didn't have this
- 40:33Speaker 2: charmed life because people with charmed life are like not
- 40:36Speaker 2: popular right now.
- 40:37Speaker 5: I really don't know what it is. I don't know
- 40:40Speaker 5: if it's like the nepo baby thing.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Right, exactly. No one wants to be the nepo baby.
- 40:45Speaker 2: Or if they are a nepo baby, they have to go, yeah,
- 40:47Speaker 2: I'm a nepo baby, but I'm not pursuing acting. I'm
- 40:51Speaker 2: being a chef. You're like, it's fine. Look, my kids
- 40:54Speaker 2: are going to have it easier than I did because
- 40:57Speaker 2: my parents weren't in entertainment. I'm also not Steven Spielberg,
- 41:02Speaker 2: but there's things they can do for me. I can
- 41:06Speaker 2: introduce them to people. There is that, that they're going
- 41:08Speaker 2: to have an easier situation. Watching back, it was all
- 41:12Speaker 2: just a mess. I kind of thought it was interesting
- 41:16Speaker 2: because I thought it was more of a reflection of
- 41:19Speaker 2: Of the time and like, you know, everyone has a story.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Everyone has an interesting, juicy childhood story. And even if
- 41:28Speaker 2: you had the most perfect thing and your parents loved you.
- 41:30Speaker 2: And they loved each other and they're still married. Then
- 41:32Speaker 2: you're like, well, I'm fucked up with relationships because I
- 41:36Speaker 2: had this ridiculous relationship I could never live up to.
- 41:40Speaker 2: Like even if your parents do it right, people are
- 41:42Speaker 2: going to be like, well, this was an unrealistic love.
- 41:44Speaker 4: Right.
- 41:45Speaker 2: That the two of you had forever and you never fought.
- 41:47Speaker 2: And now I don't know how to fight for my spouse.
- 41:49Speaker 5: It's going to be scrutiny no matter what you do.
- 41:51Speaker 5: People are going to judge you no matter what you say,
- 41:53Speaker 5: what you do. And now being in this whole like
- 41:55Speaker 5: Bravo universe, it's– I can do no wrong. If I
- 41:59Speaker 5: am yelling, she's angry, she's rude, she's mean, and everyone
- 42:02Speaker 5: loses the message, even if the message is right. If
- 42:05Speaker 5: I'm nice and I'm crying, oh, she's backpedaling. Give me
- 42:08Speaker 5: a break. Now you want to say sorry. It's not
- 42:10Speaker 5: good enough. So it's literally I could do absolutely no
- 42:15Speaker 5: right and I'm okay with it. I'm just like I've
- 42:17Speaker 5: got to walk away and just own my truth and
- 42:20Speaker 5: it is what it is.
- 42:21Speaker 2: Well, I think that it's a very hard job to have.
- 42:25Speaker 4: Right.
- 42:25Speaker 2: And I do think when I hear like, someone like
- 42:29Speaker 2: Kyle saying, oh, I've suffered from anxiety. I'm like, of
- 42:32Speaker 2: course you have. You've been on Housewives for 12 years.
- 42:34Speaker 2: How could you not have anxiety every time you film?
- 42:37Speaker 2: And now do you drink? I do. Okay. But even
- 42:42Speaker 2: if you just have a few drinks and you have
- 42:45Speaker 2: maybe a moment and you leave and you're fine and
- 42:48Speaker 2: you're feeling coherent, then I can imagine that you wake
- 42:50Speaker 2: up like some of us do, go to the bathroom, pee.
- 42:53Speaker 2: And you're like, Oh, shit. Did I say something I regret?
- 42:57Speaker 2: Now you have to think about that. Then you have
- 42:58Speaker 2: to think about when they see it, when they get
- 43:01Speaker 2: the episode a week before, then when the whole world
- 43:03Speaker 2: sees it, then when you have to also explain it.
- 43:08Speaker 2: It is weird to really let yourself go, I would think.
- 43:12Speaker 2: Because you're reliving a moment three times. Yeah.
- 43:15Speaker 5: And it's not realistic. That's not how the world works. You're, one,
- 43:19Speaker 5: living in the moment, right? You say those things. Two,
- 43:22Speaker 5: now you're watching it and the whole world is watching
- 43:25Speaker 5: it and they're judging you and you have to deal
- 43:27Speaker 5: with everyone's opinion online. And then three, now we have
- 43:31Speaker 5: to talk about it again in the reunion. So even
- 43:33Speaker 5: if you squash beef or whatever, you move on, it
- 43:37Speaker 5: continuously circulates and it's in your face. So it's a
- 43:40Speaker 5: very hard thing to go through because it's a very
- 43:44Speaker 5: unrealistic thing. Like it's a very unrealistic experience that people
- 43:48Speaker 5: don't realize.
- 43:49Speaker 2: Yes. Now, Uba, who is a lot of fun. She's
- 43:53Speaker 2: a lot of fun. And a gorgeous girl and a
- 43:54Speaker 2: real model and all that. So she lets you know
- 43:58Speaker 2: that she's dating this guy.
- 43:59Speaker 4: Right.
- 44:00Speaker 2: So when you guys were at the, what was it?
- 44:02Speaker 2: You're at the golf place, Topgolf. What were you doing?
- 44:04Speaker 4: Oh, Swingers.
- 44:04Speaker 2: Swingers. Oh, it's a golf thing, right?
- 44:07Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 44:08Speaker 2: I couldn't, I won't forget the name. So she is
- 44:10Speaker 2: showing you a photo of him, right? Right. Which now
- 44:13Speaker 2: we've seen him, very good looking. They make a gorgeous couple. Yes, yes, correct.
- 44:17Speaker 2: And so you're like, good for you. It seems like
- 44:19Speaker 2: a winner, you know, has his shit together. And so
- 44:24Speaker 2: now where did you get in trouble? This is what
- 44:27Speaker 2: I don't understand. How did you fuck up and then
- 44:30Speaker 2: got mad? I got in trouble off camera. Like, I mean,
- 44:33Speaker 2: I spilled the beans off camera.
- 44:35Speaker 3: To who?
- 44:36Speaker 2: Okay, wait. Let me break this down. Now that we
- 44:38Speaker 2: know who he is, now we've seen a photo of him.
- 44:39Speaker 2: Now we know who he is. I'm still going to
- 44:40Speaker 2: call him Mr. Connecticut. He's a good-looking, like, German... He's amazing.
- 44:45Speaker 2: He's sweet. Executive or something. He's loving. How did they meet?
- 44:48Speaker 2: And I don't know anything. Don't say that. So all
- 44:52Speaker 2: I know is that we all know that together now.
- 44:54Speaker 2: They went to the ballet and they looked hot. OK.
- 44:57Speaker 2: They look great together. She showed me, said she's good.
- 45:00Speaker 2: She's happy.
- 45:01Speaker 4: Lovely.
- 45:02Speaker 2: Mind you, I don't know his name. I don't know.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Where he works. Okay. All I know is where he lives. Right.
- 45:08Speaker 2: I know where he lives and I know they're dating.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Those are the only two things I know. And you
- 45:11Speaker 2: saw the photo that he was cute. And I saw
- 45:13Speaker 2: the photo that he's cute.
- 45:13Speaker 4: Okay.
- 45:14Speaker 3: Move on.
- 45:15Speaker 5: I'm in the Halloween store with Aaron. Aaron drops a
- 45:18Speaker 5: bomb on me about my husband insulting Oopa.
- 45:21Speaker 2: So immediately. Which he said, which I loved this moment
- 45:26Speaker 2: because I think a lot of people do this. And
- 45:28Speaker 2: it is well-intended.
- 45:30Speaker 3: Right.
- 45:30Speaker 5: It is.
- 45:31Speaker 1: Right.
- 45:31Speaker 2: They think it's a compliment. But it is one of
- 45:33Speaker 2: those things that especially now with younger women, it's a
- 45:39Speaker 2: really rude thing to say. It is.
- 45:40Speaker 4: You know?
- 45:41Speaker 2: Because a lot of women and men will never get married. Yeah.
- 45:44Speaker 2: And it's a very uncomfortable position to be in. And
- 45:47Speaker 2: I had friends that were single. And still are. You know,
- 45:51Speaker 2: like I just got together with my sorority sisters for
- 45:53Speaker 2: the weekend. And of the four of us, well, there's five.
- 45:57Speaker 2: One was missing. Of the five of us, two are
- 45:59Speaker 2: married to our first husbands past 20 years. Two are
- 46:02Speaker 2: divorced and one, her second husband has passed. Okay. And
- 46:07Speaker 2: the other one has never been married. And I was like,
- 46:10Speaker 2: that is actually a perfect demographic. Yeah. Of the world.
- 46:14Speaker 2: It's not every, you know what I mean? And we
- 46:17Speaker 2: all get along and talk and console each other and
- 46:20Speaker 2: give each other advice, even though we haven't lived the
- 46:22Speaker 2: world life. So I think... But I have seen that
- 46:26Speaker 2: happen with single girlfriends where people, girls and guys, like,
- 46:29Speaker 2: what do you mean you don't have a boyfriend? Like,
- 46:31Speaker 2: you're gorgeous. What's the da-da-da-da? And I thought she was
- 46:35Speaker 2: going to be like, what does it matter? But she's like,
- 46:38Speaker 2: I don't know, ask on because she was, you know,
- 46:40Speaker 2: being funny. But, like, I totally got how– the intention
- 46:45Speaker 2: was a compliment. Yeah. But I thought it was a
- 46:48Speaker 2: good teaching moment for the world, honestly.
- 46:50Speaker 5: It was a compliment, but you can tell it was,
- 46:52Speaker 5: even when I watched it, I said, hey, babe, that
- 46:54Speaker 5: wasn't cool because it was an uncomfortable moment.
- 46:57Speaker 2: Because he's also yelling it. You know, it's like he's like, hey,
- 47:01Speaker 2: by the way, why are you, why are you single?
- 47:03Speaker 5: You know, it was a very uncomfortable moment. And I
- 47:06Speaker 5: know my husband, he meant nothing but good intentions behind it.
- 47:09Speaker 5: But I think after he saw it and me telling.
- 47:11Speaker 2: Him, he complained. completely understood. Yeah, totally. And then he,
- 47:15Speaker 2: which he did later on, apologized. But the final thing,
- 47:18Speaker 2: I also think a question that I think is cringe
- 47:21Speaker 2: and has to stop is when you meet somebody and
- 47:24Speaker 2: they have a child, a couple children, to say, are
- 47:28Speaker 2: you going to have more? Yeah. I think we need
- 47:30Speaker 2: to stop asking that. Let that person give that information
- 47:34Speaker 2: once they're more comfortable. I agree. And say, he's two.
- 47:39Speaker 2: We're trying because we want them to be close in age. Okay,
- 47:42Speaker 2: now you know they're trying.
- 47:42Speaker 4: Right.
- 47:43Speaker 2: Then you can talk about it. But I think... It's
- 47:46Speaker 2: a weird thing. I remember my mom has passed too.
- 47:49Speaker 2: And I remember my friend... who was my friend for
- 47:53Speaker 2: a long time. She had her son and he was
- 47:54Speaker 2: super cute. She had him at 38 and she didn't
- 47:58Speaker 2: even have trouble. She was with her guy for a
- 48:00Speaker 2: long time. They just tried and then she got pregnant.
- 48:02Speaker 2: But I already knew that's like an inappropriate question. And
- 48:05Speaker 2: my mom was just like, What do you mean you
- 48:09Speaker 2: don't know if you're going to have more? Why wouldn't
- 48:10Speaker 2: you have more? And I was like, Mom, I'm like,
- 48:13Speaker 2: only children have it fucking made. Trust me. Like, I
- 48:16Speaker 2: was just like, stop it, Mom. Like, I was like, Mom,
- 48:18Speaker 2: you know, and she just thinks that she's being she's like,
- 48:21Speaker 2: he's so adorable.
- 48:23Speaker 4: Right.
- 48:23Speaker 2: Why wouldn't you make more? Like, and it's offensive. Yeah. Yeah.
- 48:28Speaker 5: You can't you definitely can't say or do things like
- 48:30Speaker 5: that anymore. But I think that's also very old school.
- 48:33Speaker 2: Right. And when you grow up like that, it's just,
- 48:36Speaker 2: you don't mean anything by it. You're not trying to
- 48:38Speaker 2: be malicious. But that's growing up and seeing like, yeah,
- 48:40Speaker 2: that isn't. That does put someone in a weird position.
- 48:43Speaker 2: And I remember even with couples that chose not to
- 48:45Speaker 2: have kids. And there's that scene in Sex and the
- 48:48Speaker 2: City 2 where they're at the wedding. And there's the
- 48:51Speaker 2: girls like, oh, I'm a fan of your books, Carrie.
- 48:53Speaker 2: And do you have kids? And they're like, no, just
- 48:56Speaker 2: us two. Just us two. And the girl acts all weird.
- 48:58Speaker 2: I remember this scene.
- 48:59Speaker 4: Yes.
- 48:59Speaker 2: And then it was like, well, just us two. But
- 49:01Speaker 2: I had friends too where people asked. And then finally
- 49:05Speaker 2: she gets to an age and people stop asking. That's crazy, right?
- 49:08Speaker 2: You know what I mean? And it's like, finally. It
- 49:11Speaker 2: must feel so good that when people stop asking. You're like,
- 49:14Speaker 2: thank God. Thank God you stopped asking me. But then again,
- 49:18Speaker 2: are you like, is it because I'm older? Like, do
- 49:20Speaker 2: you start feeling old because people are not asking? I
- 49:22Speaker 2: had one friend and she, you know, Jen Kirkman, she's
- 49:26Speaker 2: a comedian. She actually wrote a book talking about how
- 49:29Speaker 2: she has chose childless by choice, you know, and she was,
- 49:33Speaker 2: but she was married. She's now divorced, but she was married.
- 49:36Speaker 2: And she was new right away with the husband before
- 49:39Speaker 2: they got married. We are not having kids. This is
- 49:41Speaker 2: what we both want, blah, blah, blah. And she had
- 49:44Speaker 2: a lot of jokes about people asking. And I think
- 49:47Speaker 2: one of the nice things she said to me was
- 49:48Speaker 2: she's like, Heather, you were the only person that I
- 49:51Speaker 2: told that was like, cool. And I'm like, yeah, because
- 49:55Speaker 2: I have them. Yeah, right. Because I have them and
- 49:57Speaker 2: I know what a life of stress of having them is.
- 49:59Speaker 2: It's no joke. And I think you're a very lucky
- 50:01Speaker 2: person if you know you don't want to have them
- 50:05Speaker 2: and you're not someone that wants them and then is
- 50:07Speaker 2: struggling to have them. You're good. You're fine. And I
- 50:10Speaker 2: think more and more people, that isn't a weird thing.
- 50:13Speaker 2: That's not a sad thing. I think it's fine.
- 50:15Speaker 5: I think it's becoming normal, though. I have a few
- 50:17Speaker 5: friends who don't want children. And I never say anything.
- 50:21Speaker 2: I'm always like, that's cool. And it's good that they
- 50:23Speaker 2: can see other successful, happy women that were childless by
- 50:28Speaker 2: choice and have a wonderful life in their 50s and 60s.
- 50:31Speaker 2: And they have other children and family around them. And
- 50:34Speaker 2: they never felt like they missed out. They never went
- 50:37Speaker 2: for it. And if someone does say, hey, that's my
- 50:39Speaker 2: one regret, then that's their story, too. But like, yeah.
- 50:42Speaker 2: I think it's fine. Yeah, yeah. I think it's fine.
- 50:44Speaker 2: So I kind of saw it as a nice moment,
- 50:49Speaker 2: a teachable moment. Right, right. Where intention's not bad, but...
- 50:53Speaker 2: In that very moment, I didn't know she was offended.
- 50:55Speaker 2: I missed the entire moment.
- 50:58Speaker 5: Because I'm so used to my husband blurting out these
- 51:00Speaker 5: kinds of things that I'm just like.
- 51:03Speaker 2: Whatever. Well, your husband in one moment I thought was
- 51:06Speaker 2: pretty great. When you were like talking. Now, Jessel admits
- 51:11Speaker 2: she's the one that put the information out there. We're
- 51:14Speaker 2: not fucking. Okay. She's the one that said it. So
- 51:17Speaker 2: I want to make that really clear as everyone's talking about.
- 51:20Speaker 2: She could have very well gone on the show. There
- 51:23Speaker 2: was no paper she had to sign. We need to
- 51:25Speaker 2: know how many times you bone in order to get
- 51:27Speaker 2: the Bravo contract. People lie all the time. You can
- 51:30Speaker 2: say you're having it every night. You can say you
- 51:32Speaker 2: have it once a year for comedy purpose. Who cares?
- 51:35Speaker 2: You can sleep in separate rooms and no one has
- 51:37Speaker 2: to know that you sleep in a separate room. The
- 51:39Speaker 2: cameras are not 24-7. It's whatever you want to share.
- 51:43Speaker 2: And I love that she shared it because I think
- 51:45Speaker 2: there's also a lot of people out there that Their
- 51:49Speaker 2: sex life is off track. They're not boning. Maybe they're
- 51:51Speaker 2: both not that sexual. It doesn't mean you can't stay
- 51:54Speaker 2: married and have a happy life. Just for other people,
- 51:57Speaker 2: it's like, what? Yeah. That bone all the time. It
- 51:59Speaker 2: was shocking. I think it was like. Because they're young.
- 52:02Speaker 2: It's one thing if maybe they're older or whatever. But
- 52:04Speaker 2: like they're young. But your husband was like, well, I mean,
- 52:08Speaker 2: they have two little babies.
- 52:09Speaker 4: Right.
- 52:09Speaker 2: Blah, blah, blah, blah. And so I thought in that
- 52:11Speaker 2: way he was cool.
- 52:12Speaker 5: He was like, I don't know what a woman would
- 52:13Speaker 5: feel like, you know, after having two babies, going through
- 52:16Speaker 5: a journey.
- 52:17Speaker 2: You know what I mean? Right. No, I thought his
- 52:19Speaker 2: answer was, and he's level-headed. He's like my voice of reason. Yeah,
- 52:22Speaker 2: that was great. I was also on your side of
- 52:26Speaker 2: confusion about the trips to Vietnam.
- 52:29Speaker 5: I was very confused, but also, I don't know, like everyone,
- 52:33Speaker 5: she was also confused. There was an episode where he
- 52:36Speaker 5: told her and she was also very confused.
- 52:39Speaker 2: So He said to fulfill people and he said or
- 52:43Speaker 2: she said he goes to Vietnam within like a three
- 52:46Speaker 2: day period just to pick up miles. Correct. And I
- 52:51Speaker 2: I thought it sounded very suspect, too. being that it's
- 52:55Speaker 2: Vietnam and everything, and I talked a little bit about
- 52:57Speaker 2: it on the show, but I did have people write
- 53:00Speaker 2: in and say, I do this or my sister does this.
- 53:04Speaker 2: And then when he explained it where it's like, no,
- 53:06Speaker 2: you kind of are, you know, and my husband is
- 53:09Speaker 2: good at booking shit and I'm not, okay? And there
- 53:12Speaker 2: are people that kind of get off on like, you know,
- 53:15Speaker 2: getting the credit card thing and you get the Adele
- 53:17Speaker 2: tickets if you go on right now. And if like
- 53:19Speaker 2: he's good at that and he knows, no, if I
- 53:21Speaker 2: go right now, I can get... the, you know, first
- 53:24Speaker 2: class ticket for $ 200 because they have an open spot. And,
- 53:29Speaker 2: and listen, you know, when my kids were little, I
- 53:32Speaker 2: would still go on the road and, and do stuff.
- 53:34Speaker 2: And I loved being alone in a hotel room. It
- 53:37Speaker 2: feels good. I love. It does feel good. I get it. Sleep.
- 53:39Speaker 2: When your kids are little, like grabby little, you know,
- 53:42Speaker 2: your kids are older and mine are really old, but
- 53:44Speaker 2: like where there's like 10 years there where you're just like,
- 53:49Speaker 2: You're never alone. You never get to sleep. You're never
- 53:51Speaker 2: solid sleep unless you go away by yourself. And I
- 53:55Speaker 2: did like going on planes. Especially when it was first class,
- 53:57Speaker 2: I was like, I get to watch my movies and
- 53:59Speaker 2: I get to have someone bring me wine. So then
- 54:02Speaker 2: I kind of was like, okay, it's his escape for
- 54:06Speaker 2: three days from the one-year-old twins. But, I mean, think
- 54:09Speaker 2: about it. If you're in that moment, though, I'm not
- 54:10Speaker 2: watching the show. I'm in a moment. I'm just living
- 54:13Speaker 2: a moment. And you're asking a question. Yeah, my girlfriend
- 54:16Speaker 2: tells me. She's not having sex. I'm shocked. It's been
- 54:19Speaker 2: two years. I'm like, wow. And then next thing you know,
- 54:22Speaker 2: my girlfriend's telling me her husband's going to Vietnam for
- 54:24Speaker 2: three days. And I'm like, huh, what? I'm confused. I
- 54:27Speaker 2: didn't know about the– like, what do you mean about
- 54:29Speaker 2: the miles? Like, why? I don't follow points, guy. Like,
- 54:33Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 54:33Speaker 5: It's just– you're just having a conversation with your friend.
- 54:37Speaker 2: And then you know what?
- 54:38Speaker 5: Yes, I'm going to tell everybody else in the group, too.
- 54:40Speaker 5: Because– Friends talk. And you're like, hey, by the way, Erin,
- 54:43Speaker 5: did you know so-and-so went to Vietnam? It was so,
- 54:47Speaker 5: it was just a freaking moment. And then all of
- 54:49Speaker 5: a sudden, it was, it happened.
- 54:52Speaker 2: Over and over again because it became a storyline. Yes.
- 54:56Speaker 5: And once something becomes a storyline in a show, someone
- 55:00Speaker 5: has to keep pushing it. If it doesn't keep being pushed,
- 55:03Speaker 5: there's no storyline and there's nothing to talk about. And
- 55:06Speaker 5: this is what happens in these shows. So did I
- 55:09Speaker 5: push Jussel's storyline a little bit too far?
- 55:12Speaker 2: Yeah, totally. But you know what? We're talking about something, right?
- 55:16Speaker 2: I gave everybody something to talk about. Jussel gave me
- 55:19Speaker 2: something to talk about. And it was what it was.
- 55:21Speaker 2: We produced a really fucking great show that people are
- 55:23Speaker 2: talking about. What I think people also like is at
- 55:26Speaker 2: least there were a couple husbands. You know, so many
- 55:29Speaker 2: of the shows, we don't either have husbands or we
- 55:32Speaker 2: don't see the husbands. And we like seeing the husbands.
- 55:36Speaker 2: I think people like that about New Jersey. We like
- 55:39Speaker 2: seeing a dynamic between the housewife and a guy, whether
- 55:42Speaker 2: she's dating them, a boyfriend or whatever. And so it's
- 55:45Speaker 2: nice that the three of you like had husbands that
- 55:48Speaker 2: were participating that we got to see. I think that's...
- 55:51Speaker 2: Do we really like that though?
- 55:52Speaker 5: Do we really, do we like when they're like overly involved?
- 55:56Speaker 5: Do we like when they... I think it helps with
- 55:58Speaker 5: the storylines. Or do we like when they're on the sidelines?
- 56:00Speaker 2: I think it helps to have them be, I think
- 56:02Speaker 2: the show is more exciting when it's not just all
- 56:07Speaker 2: women involved. You can do a girl's trip for that,
- 56:10Speaker 2: but if we're really following someone's life... No, I do.
- 56:13Speaker 2: There are certain housewives, like, I mean, Lisa Rinna, when
- 56:16Speaker 2: she was on, it was like Carrie Hamlin was, like, literally, like,
- 56:20Speaker 2: on one time to, like, barbecue some chicken. We never
- 56:24Speaker 2: went to the dinners. We didn't see the guys talk.
- 56:27Speaker 2: We didn't see them ever exchange. And then, you know,
- 56:31Speaker 2: Erika Jayne, before she got... That was like, okay, Tom
- 56:34Speaker 2: barely made an appearance. Now we have... No men, but
- 56:38Speaker 2: like PK. And so, like, I don't know. I like it.
- 56:41Speaker 2: I like it if it's possible. I think it is.
- 56:43Speaker 2: But if your real life is that your husband really
- 56:46Speaker 2: doesn't want to participate, then that's also real life, too.
- 56:48Speaker 2: Then he wouldn't go to the dinner anyway.
- 56:50Speaker 3: Right.
- 56:50Speaker 2: So, like, I get that. But, like, you know, when
- 56:53Speaker 2: they had their sexy night, which was reminiscent of– I
- 56:57Speaker 2: remember Ramona and Mario, they have a sexy night at
- 57:01Speaker 2: a hotel and everything. And then she comes out and
- 57:03Speaker 2: she's like in her lingerie and she looks good. And
- 57:05Speaker 2: he's kind of laughing. She looked great. And she's laughing.
- 57:07Speaker 2: She looked amazing. Also, you guys, there's cameras and lights.
- 57:10Speaker 2: Like if they're going to screw that night or tomorrow
- 57:12Speaker 2: morning or whatever. He's not going to get a boner
- 57:15Speaker 2: right now. This is so embarrassing. This is the first
- 57:19Speaker 2: time they've been on a reality show. We've seen Tamara
- 57:22Speaker 2: in the tub with Eddie. We've seen these moments that, okay,
- 57:25Speaker 2: if they're extra comfortable getting down, great. But not everybody is. Right, right.
- 57:29Speaker 2: And a lot of people are not into PDA. So
- 57:32Speaker 2: think about PDA with the camera, somebody cram it like.
- 57:36Speaker 2: It must be kind of hard, you know? I'm assuming, yeah.
- 57:38Speaker 5: I mean, I didn't– I don't do PDA. I didn't–
- 57:41Speaker 5: I definitely was not putting on lingerie for my husband.
- 57:44Speaker 5: So I don't– I could see how that can be
- 57:46Speaker 5: totally awkward for sure. And then, look, that was their thing.
- 57:52Speaker 5: But I definitely think that Jessa looked absolutely beautiful in
- 57:55Speaker 5: her lingerie. She should have got a round of applause,
- 57:57Speaker 5: to be honest. I would have applauded her.
- 57:59Speaker 2: I thought– She was like the most disliked in the
- 58:04Speaker 2: beginning and then like the most liked by the end. Right.
- 58:06Speaker 2: People now find them like funny and great, which is great.
- 58:09Speaker 2: And I did think the green and black lingerie was
- 58:12Speaker 2: unflattering on her. It looked like a Christmas tree. Yeah. Well,
- 58:16Speaker 2: it just like wasn't good around her boobs. It was funny.
- 58:18Speaker 2: It just wasn't. But she didn't have to be mean
- 58:22Speaker 2: about it. But I don't think she should have been mean, right? No,
- 58:24Speaker 2: she shouldn't have been mean. It was definitely a gift.
- 58:26Speaker 2: And it was more of just sometimes when people give
- 58:30Speaker 2: you things, don't. You can be like, oh, wow, okay,
- 58:33Speaker 2: maybe I can exchange it for something else. Like what
- 58:35Speaker 2: I would have done if I was a case. The
- 58:36Speaker 2: constant complaint. If I put it on and it was
- 58:38Speaker 2: that unflattering, unless that was going to come out, which
- 58:41Speaker 2: I've done with friends where I'm trying on stuff and
- 58:43Speaker 2: it's something so horrific and awful or like Campbell Toll,
- 58:47Speaker 2: it'll come out and be funny about how awful it is.
- 58:49Speaker 2: But if it really was awful and it was really unflattering, yeah,
- 58:52Speaker 2: what you should have done has been like, I'm not
- 58:55Speaker 2: wearing it. Thank you. It was not my thing, but
- 58:58Speaker 2: I appreciate it. Right. But, like, yeah. You know, who knows?
- 59:02Speaker 2: You live and you learn. You look back. You have cameras.
- 59:04Speaker 5: She didn't even realize she was saying those things until
- 59:06Speaker 5: she watched it back. So, again, like, we're all really
- 59:09Speaker 5: real in these.
- 59:10Speaker 2: Moments. We're living just normal ass moments. They just so
- 59:13Speaker 2: happen to be recorded. So let's talk BravoCon a little bit.
- 59:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:17Speaker 2: So I, before you came, I was like, so now
- 59:19Speaker 2: Jenna Lyons did not come. No. And I'm not surprised.
- 59:24Speaker 2: I think this is a lot of over sensory. I
- 59:26Speaker 2: can see why she didn't. Um, I think Bravo treats
- 59:32Speaker 2: everybody how they want to treat them. It is not
- 59:35Speaker 2: a factory.
- 59:36Speaker 1: Right.
- 59:37Speaker 2: You know, so it's like if someone is like, I don't,
- 59:39Speaker 2: but they're still valuable, they were not going to care.
- 59:41Speaker 2: But I think if someone is like, I really would
- 59:43Speaker 2: not like to come and they can convince you to,
- 59:46Speaker 2: then they do.
- 59:47Speaker 3: Right.
- 59:47Speaker 2: You know, so I thought maybe her not coming might
- 59:50Speaker 2: be a sign that she's not coming back, but I
- 59:51Speaker 2: hope she comes back. Now, how did you like it?
- 59:56Speaker 2: I mean, how is it? feeling like a rock star
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: for the first time. Surreal.
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: It was so crazy. It was the craziest experience I've
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: ever had. Because I'm someone who.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: I take the train in New York City every day.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: No one cares.
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: Everyone's like, just move over so I can get on
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: the train.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: Do people recognize you in real life now?
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: They do, but not on that level. BravoCon is a
- 1:00:20Speaker 5: different level. And we were talking about a little bit earlier,
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: but there's tons of people outside and everyone knows who
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: you are and they're screaming your name. And when you're
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: walking through the venue... People are screaming your name and
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: want to take your photo. You go from zero to
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: hero in like two seconds straight. And you're kind of–
- 1:00:36Speaker 5: you're just in shock. I was anyway.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: I wasn't– I was not prepared for any of it
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: at all. I saw this girl just walking around where
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: all the booths are and stuff. And she really– she
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: had a white dress on. And she really did look
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: like Whitney Rose from Salt Lake City. Oh, wow. And
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: I just start going– you guys, it's Whitney Rose. And
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: I swear, a group of people came and she was laughing.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: And I mean, she really didn't look like her. But
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: then everyone's like, oh, wait, that's not her. That's not her.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: And it was just like... I like your prank. That's
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: actually really funny. Because everybody is like, it's all about
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: the photos and, you know, which I totally understand. But yeah.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: How did your panel go? My panel went really well.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: We did miss Jenna.
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: I feel like Jenna definitely should have been there for
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: Not should have, but it would have been nice if
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: she was there for the panel.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: I think– I mean, I think– I don't know how
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: it works. Obviously, it didn't work with Bravo. But, like,
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: if I was there, I'd be like, you know, hey,
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: could you just make the panel and you don't have
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: to do all the– photo things and go to the
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: tent and go do the other show down at the
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: bottom of the stairs and that kind of stuff. It
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: was great.
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: There were tons of people there. It was pretty much
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: sold out. There was only standing available and then a
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: lot of people didn't get in.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: Well, Christian Snow is a great Instagrammer. I saw him.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: I I was watching, following him. And he said that
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: he felt that you guys got the most excitement, love,
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: the longest line for the photos. And I do think
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: it's because, you know, it's new. And the fans have
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: maybe gone three times. This is the third time. This
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: is a brand new cast. You are the only new
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: cast of anything. It's the first time it's ever happening, right? Yeah.
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: And I've explained this to someone else before, but I'm like, yes,
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: it is. It is a season 14, but it's a
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: season one for us. And so we are something that
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: for the first time in franchise history is a complete
- 1:02:30Speaker 5: clean slate and starting over. And we have built-in fans
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: already because of what everyone else has done prior. Because
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: of all the OGs paved the way for us, we
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: have those built-in fans that would make this show successful
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: off the bat. Whereas if this was a brand new
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: cast with a different name, we probably would... be a
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: little bit lower and have to climb up into a
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: few more seasons.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: So it is a very unique experience. And I saw
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: Brynn and she was at something last night, Glamour Magazine.
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: Something with Uba.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: And.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: Erin was there too. Really looked gorgeous. Yeah, they were beautiful. Like,
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: oh my God. And they were like doing correspondence stuff
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: or whatever. So, I mean, I think that's exciting too
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: that you guys are getting all these extra opportunities and
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: jobs and, you know, and.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, it's new. I think the girls are
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: all super outgoing. They're really great, great girls. They all hustle.
- 1:03:27Speaker 5: I love a hustler at the end of the day. So, yeah,
- 1:03:30Speaker 5: I think everyone's taking advantage of this opportunity and just
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: going out there and hustling it up. So it's for me,
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: I'm like, this is this is right up my alley
- 1:03:40Speaker 5: to be surrounded by other women who are driven.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: And yeah. So when do you guys start filming again? Well,
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: we don't know that quite yet. Okay. Yeah, we're not
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: there yet. All right. And what did you love most
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: about the season and what did you dislike the most?
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: I really disliked living in the same moment over and
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: over again three times. That for me was, it's just
- 1:04:04Speaker 5: not normal to constantly relive a moment. What did I love?
- 1:04:10Speaker 5: I really liked, I think we had a lot of fun.
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: There were lots of things that no one saw. Like,
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: we had this whole improv thing in Anguilla that was hysterical. Like,
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: we had one dinner where me, Erin, and Brynn, we
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: were crying, laughing so hard we almost peed ourselves. Like,
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: we had some moments that were so, so funny that
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: the audience didn't get to see, and I'm a little
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: bummed by it. But at least we have those memories
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: because we were there, and we had a really good time.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: I think, and also this experience is not like you're alone.
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: You have six, five other people, right? Like, and that
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: has experienced this too. And it's an experience that is
- 1:04:47Speaker 5: unlike any other. Like even me telling my best friend,
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: I'm like, you don't understand.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: Like I have a camera. What did she think watching you?
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: She was like, I don't understand why people think you're
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: a bitch. She was like, am I biased? She goes,
- 1:04:59Speaker 5: maybe I'm just used to you because I am a
- 1:05:01Speaker 5: little bit brash, but I am very direct. But when
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: she says things to me and I respond to her,
- 1:05:06Speaker 5: She's never offended by it because she knows that's.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: Not what I mean. For example, the other day, she
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: came with me to BravoCon. And I was like, can
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: you– no, I said, scoot back. I can't see. But
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: the way I said it, she was like, oh, my gosh.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: If someone was listening to us– Like filming that.
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: They would think that you're such a bitch.
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: But you didn't mean it like that. You just meant, hey,
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: scoot back. I can't see. Right. Yeah. You know what
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: I mean? And she's absolutely right. It's just my personality.
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: It's just me. Right.
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: So, I mean, there's that. But for the most part,
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: it was a really, really great experience. Yeah.
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: Reunion was tough. Reunion, I felt like, was the most
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: difficult part. And I think it was just because I'm
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: not someone who sits down to talk about my feelings
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: and hash things out.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: Right. I'm not. Have you done much therapy? I've done
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: zero therapy. That was my first therapy session. Andy's my therapist.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: So you never went to any grief counseling when your
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: mother passed?
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: No.
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: No.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: I actually never talked about it until that was my
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: first time talking about it. How long has it been?
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: It's been a year. Oh, it's so fresh. Well, that's
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: another thing. When I had that lunch with Jessel, my
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: mom had passed five months prior to that moment. So
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: I think I was just like. Yeah, I mean, my
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: parents have passed. And the first couple of years are
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: really hard because sometimes it just hits you at different
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: times and it affects you at different times that you can't,
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: you know. It comes in waves. Yeah. Grief comes in waves.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: And then sometimes I think I put it to the
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: back and I'm like, OK, you got to move on.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: And then to talk about it. And then now I'm
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: talking about it constantly. I'm like, I've never talked about
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: it before, really. I can't remember. Do you have siblings?
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: I do have siblings. I have an older brother on
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: my mother's side. And then I have a few brothers
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: and sisters on my father's side. Oh, OK. But you
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: were the only. I'm the only one by my mom
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: and dad.
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: Oh, OK.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: And are you close to those siblings at all? Not really.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: So they wouldn't really be making an appearance. No. How
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: do they feel about you being famous? Have you heard
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: from them? I think my older brother thinks it's super cool. Oh,
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: that's good. And then I have a younger sister who
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: thinks it's great. Oh, that's good. My older brother, he
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: lives in the Bronx. I don't even think he knows
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: what's going on.
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: He's like, he has no idea. Right.
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: Zero.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: Zero. And so like what do you like? Tell me
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: what you have going on because I know you also
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: have a podcast. Tell us about that.
- 1:07:23Speaker 5: Yes, I have a podcast came out maybe about three
- 1:07:25Speaker 5: months ago with my best friend who lives here. It's
- 1:07:27Speaker 5: called Harder Than We Thought. We talk about everything that
- 1:07:31Speaker 5: is lifestyles in our 40s. We talk about everything. Not
- 1:07:34Speaker 5: having kids in your 40s, you know, being successful, choosing
- 1:07:38Speaker 5: a career over a family, what that looks like. My
- 1:07:41Speaker 5: best friend is dating and I think it's the funniest
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: shit ever.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: Don't you love living vicariously?
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: Love.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: I have literally been with friends where I was like,
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: I had a girl open for me during standup and
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: she was single and she was my age. And I go,
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: will you turn it on? We're in Houston. I go,
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: let me just see if I was single, what's out there?
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: And it was fascinating because I never experienced that. That
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: wasn't invented when I met my husband. So I'm like, oh,
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: my God. And then matching that. And then you match?
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: And then I swipe the wrong way and she's screaming
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: at me. And then like the conversations. Or then she'll
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: see people that she already knows. Yeah, that are like
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: recycling through. It's crazy.
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: Like the whole dating scene, especially when you get older, too,
- 1:08:24Speaker 5: you know? It's just these honest, open conversations, witty banter.
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: She's super witty. We kind of feed off of each
- 1:08:30Speaker 5: other's energy. And we want to have these conversations where
- 1:08:32Speaker 5: it makes it feel like you're sitting next to your
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: own best friend.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: Yeah. And you're just listening in because you're agreeing. It's relatable.
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: And that's pretty much what we do. We're not doing
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: any like recaps or anything like that.
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: I brought up Roni probably once. Yeah.
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: But.
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: I didn't want people to just come there and just
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: only like focus on Roni. I kind of needed a
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: break from Roni.
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: I wanted to just talk about it. And how do
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: you handle social media and people coming at you and
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: your DMs and telling you stuff? This person said this
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: about you on this podcast and this– like– Oh, my God.
- 1:09:02Speaker 5: Somebody told me I'm– what did he say to me yesterday?
- 1:09:05Speaker 5: Someone came to me on my DM and was like,
- 1:09:06Speaker 5: you're a total loser and.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: All this other– I'm sorry. But it's actually quite funny.
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: I– I don't get offended easily. Some of the hate
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: would make me laugh, too.
- 1:09:19Speaker 5: It was so funny because the person was so upset
- 1:09:22Speaker 5: with me.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: And I was like, but.
- 1:09:24Speaker 5: Why are you so mad? He kept coming with multiple messages.
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: And then at the end was like, you goward.
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: Answer me.
- 1:09:35Speaker 5: Because they so badly want this attention and a response.
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: I just, I don't know. It made me laugh so hard.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: I was like, this is hysterical. And it's not, it's
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: actually quite disturbing. Have you blocked people? I have not
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: blocked anyone. I've not blocked anyone.
- 1:09:49Speaker 5: However, I have blocked people from commenting certain things on
- 1:09:54Speaker 5: my page because I feel like what I do for
- 1:09:57Speaker 5: a living is social media. This is my platform that
- 1:10:02Speaker 5: I created.
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: And this is my piece at the end of the day.
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: And don't really give a shit about.
- 1:10:07Speaker 5: Your opinion of me. I'm okay with being disliked if
- 1:10:10Speaker 5: you dislike me. But you don't need to spread that
- 1:10:12Speaker 5: on my page for everyone else to read because this
- 1:10:14Speaker 5: is what I created. Like this is my real estate
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: at the end of the day. And people get very
- 1:10:19Speaker 5: offended that they are not allowed to voice their opinions
- 1:10:21Speaker 5: about me being a loser on my page.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: And I'm like, go write it on Reddit.
- 1:10:28Speaker 5: There's like tons of forums apparently.
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: About me on Reddit. So like, just go for it. Yes.
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: Go continue with your rumors and everything else. Yeah, but
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: my thing that I can control, guess what?
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: What?
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: I'm not going to have you write this awful thing
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: about me and my family. I'm not going. Like, sorry
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: that you got blocked. You're going to have to create
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: another account with a ladybug face or something. They love
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: to do that. Like a zero followers. Yeah. And then
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: they come on and they keep going on. But it
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: is hard.
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: It is hard to have the blinders on and it
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: is hard to not let it bother you because I
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: think there's times when you do feel like, oh, my God,
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: this episode aired and I'm getting it more now. I mean,
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: there should be like a– I mean, some people can
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: handle it better than others. But I do almost think
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: there should be like a little bit of a coach
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: or something that's like, okay. Because now– the way it
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: is now is not the way it was before. even
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: three years ago.
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: Why?
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: Because it's social? Or do you think people have gotten
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: overly sensitive? Overly sensitive, but also it just... Years ago,
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: they would have to do a blog or whatever. It
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: just wasn't this constant. And then people having the outlets
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: of TikTok and Reels and Instagram and Story, let me
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: tell you right now what I think. And then also
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: the people might listen to you know, someone on another
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: show and then report to you, she said this. And
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: then you're like, fuck that bitch. And you're like, well,
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: I don't have time to go back and listen to
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: the podcast and make my own conclusion. Or God forbid,
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: why don't I just call the girl and say, why
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: did you say that? Or whatever. but then because you're
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: mad and you're not talking and the reunion's tomorrow so
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: I'll save it and I get all that I get
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: it but I can see that people are going to
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: spin this whole conversation and the next you know there's
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: going to be another rumor of me so it's like
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: it is what it is if you're going to go
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: out and talk like people are going to misconstrued and
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: and and tie it up and do something with it
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: and spin it any way that they want I do
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: think it's important when you have a fact that comes
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: forward or whatever in your life, like it is good
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: to clarify it if you can. Sometimes I just, I
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: don't care. I'm like, fuck it. They're going to say
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: what they want to say anyway.
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: I think they tend to get even more mad if
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: I don't clarify, if they don't get an answer. They
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: get upset. True. Very good point. It goes away after
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: a while. It does.
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: It does.
- 1:12:51Speaker 5: But also, I think it made me, the rumors that
- 1:12:53Speaker 5: are about me, people are super interested. All of a sudden,
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: my engagement went through the roof. Ever since everybody thought
- 1:12:58Speaker 5: I was this terrible, horrible human being, I just like,
- 1:13:02Speaker 5: my engagement went through the roof.
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: I was like, let's go for it. I literally imagined
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: you behind a bar. Absolutely not. And him coming around,
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: like literally I saw it in my head and I
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: was like, I thought he sold his business. Why was
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: he also running a bar? The math, the boy math
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: was crazy. I'm like, I met my husband six years
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: after he got a divorce. Six. What? Wait, like. How
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: did this happen? On a vacation.
- 1:13:29Speaker 5: I met him in Costa Rica at a swim up bar,
- 1:13:32Speaker 5: a fucking swim up bar. Like I was at the
- 1:13:35Speaker 5: bar hungover.
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: We're in a pool. He's behind the bar.
- 1:13:39Speaker 5: He looked a mess. I wanted nothing to do with him.
- 1:13:42Speaker 5: He's talking to my friend. I think he's actually trying
- 1:13:43Speaker 5: to pick up my friend. And I walk over and
- 1:13:46Speaker 5: I'm like, hey, he goes, hey, we've told this story
- 1:13:49Speaker 5: a million times on social, by the way. There's actually
- 1:13:51Speaker 5: a video that's three years old that's on YouTube if
- 1:13:52Speaker 5: anybody wants to go dig that up. And I tell
- 1:13:55Speaker 5: this story of how we met. And he actually insulted me.
- 1:14:00Speaker 5: Instead of saying, oh, my God, you're so beautiful, you know,
- 1:14:03Speaker 5: he said something so insulting.
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: And I ended up laughing.
- 1:14:06Speaker 5: And I was like, you got a lot of balls
- 1:14:07Speaker 5: because I could have went left. And he was so funny.
- 1:14:10Speaker 5: And he flew to New York the following week and
- 1:14:12Speaker 5: took me on a date. And we started dating for
- 1:14:14Speaker 5: two years. And he would fly from Montreal every two weeks.
- 1:14:18Speaker 5: It was a 45-minute flight. And that's how it happened.
- 1:14:21Speaker 5: And I got pregnant two years later.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: And what were you doing back then? I was a bartender.
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: I was a bartender. Oh, this is where all the
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: facts got mushed up.
- 1:14:31Speaker 5: I was a bartender, but I met my husband at
- 1:14:34Speaker 5: a swim-up bar in Costa Rica. So I think the
- 1:14:36Speaker 5: rumors were, they just were not accurate. There was some
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: telephone game that got really messed up.
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: No, he was. And also, I have a stepson who's
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: 23 now. Oh, great. So at the time, my stepson
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: was eight.
- 1:14:49Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: So it just, guys, math is not mathing. I love it.
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: And I love that Jimmy Fallon talked about you. I
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: love Jimmy. Thank you, Jimmy. He understands me. Yeah. So
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: you showed that clip. That was funny. So your name
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: on Instagram is Scout the City.
- 1:15:07Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: Yes. I love that. But if you also type in
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: her name, you can find her if you don't remember that.
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: But follow, follow Psy. And are you on TikTok too? Yes,
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: I am.
