- 0:52Speaker 1: Listens equal. To understand how we got here, we need
- 0:56Speaker 1: to take a look at the evolution of the juvenile
- 0:59Speaker 1: justice system. Back before the American Revolution, the colonies followed
- 1:08Speaker 1: the common Law of England when it came to criminal justice.
- 1:11Speaker 1: This means that children were held accountable as adults. In
- 1:15Speaker 1: sixteen forty six, Puritans in Massachusetts and acted a statute
- 1:19Speaker 1: called the Stubborn Child Law. This made child disobedience a
- 1:23Speaker 1: capital offense, allowing a death penalty option. But then things
- 1:28Speaker 1: started to change. In the nineteenth century, the idea emerged
- 1:32Speaker 1: that children should be taken care of by the state.
- 1:35Speaker 1: This notion ultimately empowered the state to serve as a guardian.
- 1:39Speaker 1: In eighteen twenty five, the New York House of Refuge
- 1:42Speaker 1: opened for juveniles. Own They were called delinquents to distinguish
- 1:46Speaker 1: them from criminals. Reformers stress that delinquents could be reformed
- 1:51Speaker 1: and if properly supported, they wouldn't turn into lifelong criminals.
- 1:56Speaker 1: In eighteen ninety nine, Chicago reformers, also known as child savers,
- 2:01Speaker 1: many of them disenfranchised women, decided to fight for the defenseless.
- 2:06Speaker 1: One reformer, Lucy Flower, had been an orphan herself. The
- 2:10Speaker 1: child savers push for the creation of the first ever
- 2:13Speaker 1: juvenile court. This wasn't like a regular court. There was
- 2:17Speaker 1: no jury. The judge didn't look down from a bench,
- 2:20Speaker 1: but sat at a desk. Julian Mack, one of the
- 2:22Speaker 1: first such judges, said a kid should be made to
- 2:26Speaker 1: feel that he is the object of its care and solicitude.
- 2:30Speaker 1: This court was the first of its kind anywhere in
- 2:32Speaker 1: the world. Kids didn't get prison time, but instead were
- 2:36Speaker 1: put in institutions or programs. Like parents, The court tried
- 2:41Speaker 1: to steer kids toward becoming responsible adults. Within twenty five years,
- 2:46Speaker 1: most dates started to think the same thing. Juvenile courts
- 2:49Speaker 1: popped up everywhere, even.
- 2:51Speaker 2: In other countries, but for.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Children of color things were different. They were sometimes banned
- 2:56Speaker 1: from houses of refuge or juvenile detentions hunters, and when convicted,
- 3:01Speaker 1: they were more likely to be placed in adult prisoners.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Well, hello and welcome to another episode, and let's talk

- 5:59Speaker 3: of the content. So let's get started, okay again, My
- 6:04Speaker 3: name is Cornell Drummer, a call host of tonight's show.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Join my co host brother founder. If we said that
- 6:12Speaker 3: jumps tonight, We're hoping to bring you a good show tonight.
- 6:16Speaker 3: We are asked for your views, opinions, the coountments about
- 6:20Speaker 3: the twenty twenty fourth Brothers, the delevation FAMA Vice President
- 6:24Speaker 3: Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. But this and
- 6:29Speaker 3: we would like to pose a few questions to you
- 6:32Speaker 3: about what you think went wrong for the Democratic Party
- 6:35Speaker 3: and put one right for the Republican Party that feel
- 6:38Speaker 3: the second time of President Donald Trump. Our first question
- 6:42Speaker 3: to you tonight would be do you think that the
- 6:45Speaker 3: buying administration should help should have claimed what should be
- 6:50Speaker 3: be blamed for? Kamaina has a lot of the presidentcy
- 6:53Speaker 3: uh to Donald Trump? And two, do you think that
- 6:59Speaker 3: the Democratic group states that we're voting for Joe Biden
- 7:03Speaker 3: doing his campaign trails changed their minds and go so
- 7:07Speaker 3: Miss Republican Party immediately have to mister Biden removed was
- 7:11Speaker 3: removed from the campaign trail just to keep them voting
- 7:14Speaker 3: for a misers Kamala Harris, see what did you think?
- 7:18Speaker 4: Uh?
- 7:19Speaker 3: First, Miss Kamala Harris, the most in our elections. Okay,
- 7:24Speaker 3: these questions of being told to you of the reasons
- 7:28Speaker 3: to determine what happened an election that Missus Samala Harris
- 7:31Speaker 3: lost the presidency and why I'm mister Donald Trump le
- 7:35Speaker 3: so does anybody who may have an opinion about these
- 7:38Speaker 3: issues tonight, I would like to have you to Coloradana
- 7:41Speaker 3: to what's your opinion that a beginning thing that you
- 7:45Speaker 3: would like to stay tonight. So I want to tell
- 7:47Speaker 3: this over to my quote my whole missess St. Johnathon,
- 7:50Speaker 3: and suppose the first questions to her, Mister Johnthon, in
- 7:53Speaker 3: your opinion, what do you think that that Biden administration
- 7:58Speaker 3: could have done and should have to help mister Kaman
- 8:01Speaker 3: of the president against Ali Trump.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Well, in my opinion, if they knew that he was
- 8:10Speaker 2: going to drop out due to any medical conditions that
- 8:15Speaker 2: he may have had, that they should have dropped out sooner.
- 8:21Speaker 2: She only had, I believe, one hundred days to prepare
- 8:24Speaker 2: for this. If she would have, I believe would have
- 8:30Speaker 2: got jumped on it back in January something. Maybe maybe
- 8:35Speaker 2: the outcome would have been a little difference.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Okay, okay, So with that being said, ma'am, okay, So
- 8:45Speaker 3: do you feel that ye uh, mister Joe Biden uh
- 8:49Speaker 3: stepping out of the racing June as opposed to stepping
- 8:52Speaker 3: out of the rations and in January, that the Democratic
- 8:56Speaker 3: Party should have recognized his mental conditions to realize it
- 9:00Speaker 3: he would not get for the job, and that had
- 9:02Speaker 3: she been allowed to take her campaign about going to
- 9:07Speaker 3: other states to be able to gain the support that
- 9:09Speaker 3: you need, that would change the outcome.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Now, I don't think so, you know, I believe they
- 9:14Speaker 2: should have recognized that something was going on probably a
- 9:19Speaker 2: year ago. You know, with me, I stopped really watching
- 9:25Speaker 2: the news when the administration when they changed, and when
- 9:32Speaker 2: they changed when Biden took office. After they stormed the capitol,
- 9:37Speaker 2: you know, that really turned my stomach right then and there,
- 9:41Speaker 2: and it really showed the racism that that you know
- 9:46Speaker 2: in California, in the states. It really brung it out.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Once the you guys, please forgive me. I'm having a
- 9:55Speaker 2: tough day today, but I'm gonna work through this, I
- 9:58Speaker 2: promise you. Once the illustrators once they went to get
- 10:05Speaker 2: the votes and stuff together or what was they doing,
- 10:10Speaker 2: you guys know what they was doing living in Cordell.
- 10:13Speaker 2: I'm gonna stop I'm gonna make this disclaiming right now.
- 10:16Speaker 2: I just want to say the I'm kind of struggling
- 10:19Speaker 2: because most of you guys know last year my son
- 10:26Speaker 2: passed away. Today is that Friday. My son passed away
- 10:31Speaker 2: on a Friday, which is the first Friday, and this
- 10:34Speaker 2: is at the time. This is about the time that
- 10:38Speaker 2: I fought my son responses at four point thirty, I
- 10:42Speaker 2: found my son. So around this time, it's when the investigations,
- 10:46Speaker 2: the corners, and all of this stuff is out. So
- 10:49Speaker 2: I'm just kind of struggling right now. I'm trying to
- 10:52Speaker 2: get my mental health together to push through this. I
- 10:57Speaker 2: didn't want to cancel my show. I want to keep
- 11:01Speaker 2: pushing through because I know that's what he would want.
- 11:04Speaker 2: He wants me, he would want me to keep going
- 11:08Speaker 2: and not give up. So that's what I'm doing tonight.
- 11:12Speaker 2: I'm pushing through. And believe it or not, I had
- 11:17Speaker 2: a good day today. I have my grandsons and now
- 11:21Speaker 2: I'm on here with you guys, and I got my
- 11:25Speaker 2: co host, I got Angela in the background. I have
- 11:29Speaker 2: little right there next to Angela.
- 11:32Speaker 5: I have you know, I have my.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Grandsons in the other room. My daughters is here, so
- 11:38Speaker 2: I have all the love from you guys tonight. So
- 11:41Speaker 2: I'm going to push through it and thank you guys
- 11:44Speaker 2: for understanding that this is a trying time for me.
- 11:49Speaker 2: But I know my God is still on the throne,
- 11:52Speaker 2: and so with the election, I'm gonna say this. I
- 12:05Speaker 2: know I'm probably gearing off topic, just a little cornell,
- 12:09Speaker 2: but I want to say this right that quick, you guys.
- 12:14Speaker 2: I know some of you guys are worried of what's
- 12:16Speaker 2: gonna happen and all of this, but stay prayed up,
- 12:26Speaker 2: stay on the wall as we have a powerful prayer
- 12:33Speaker 2: conference in the morning, and this past week we've been
- 12:38Speaker 2: having some testimony and it been powerful. You guys, stay
- 12:43Speaker 2: prayed up, stay on the wall. God got us. As
- 12:49Speaker 2: long as he's on that throne. He doesn't matter who's
- 12:51Speaker 2: in that White House. It could have been she would
- 12:54Speaker 2: have got in there. He's still on the throne. So
- 12:59Speaker 2: don't don't given to all of his rederick that's going
- 13:03Speaker 2: around and stuff. As long as God is for us,
- 13:07Speaker 2: who can be against us? Nobody nobody can be against us.
- 13:13Speaker 2: As long as our God is for us, can't nobody
- 13:17Speaker 2: be against us? We got this. Now, let's let's move on,
- 13:22Speaker 2: COURTNEYL I'm ready.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Okay man. Well, here we have we have some high
- 13:29Speaker 3: rank and Democrats, including through advisors to the highest campaign,
- 13:33Speaker 3: expressing a lot of frustration with Buying for failing to
- 13:37Speaker 3: recognize his unicapacity earlier in the elections, like that he
- 13:42Speaker 3: was not up for the job. Okay, and they feeled
- 13:44Speaker 3: as mister Joe Biden at eighty one years old, should
- 13:47Speaker 3: up ended his regee campaign way earlier in the in
- 13:50Speaker 3: the race in order to give us Kamala Harris an
- 13:53Speaker 3: opportunity to gain the supporter of the states that she
- 13:57Speaker 3: needed to go and get resupport fromp So. Now the
- 14:01Speaker 3: question is this, what is your opinion about all of
- 14:05Speaker 3: the boo states that were of ool that turned read
- 14:11Speaker 3: for Donald Trump. Do you feel that this is what
- 14:14Speaker 3: her missus Kamala have it because she didn't have the
- 14:17Speaker 3: support of the momentum that she needed it to be
- 14:21Speaker 3: able to win those states over.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Once again, I wasn't followed, truthfully, I wasn't following the
- 14:32Speaker 2: the election they their campaigning because to me, after listening
- 14:43Speaker 2: to both, after listening to his side and everything he
- 14:47Speaker 2: was spilled coming out of his mouth, the racism and
- 14:52Speaker 2: I knew deep down inside that he was going to
- 14:55Speaker 2: get in the Someone just said that the major already
- 15:00Speaker 2: of the white man got him to vote, you got
- 15:07Speaker 2: him into presidency presidency, and I can see that. I
- 15:15Speaker 2: can see that because even some I don't want to
- 15:24Speaker 2: be I don't want to be racist. I don't want
- 15:26Speaker 2: to say something that that I made can be wrong because,
- 15:32Speaker 2: like I said, I really didn't follow the the president
- 15:38Speaker 2: their campaigning. Angela, if you want to chime in, you
- 15:42Speaker 2: can chime in, because I you know, I don't follow
- 15:46Speaker 2: it because I just I just wasn't there. I just
- 15:50Speaker 2: believed that shouldn't know felon run. He shouldn't be in
- 15:55Speaker 2: office because he's a felon. He got thirty four felonies,
- 15:58Speaker 2: so he should be in office when we got a
- 16:03Speaker 2: lot of wrong from conviction. Men still sitting in prison
- 16:06Speaker 2: when they come home, can they run for president? Uh?
- 16:10Speaker 2: For the office?
- 16:14Speaker 3: H Okay, okay, Well, statistics are showing that wealthy white
- 16:20Speaker 3: women and African American males and Latinos males voting Donald Trump.
- 16:30Speaker 3: So a question, do you think that African American males?
- 16:35Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 16:36Speaker 2: Mus go ahead, Angela to hear the question.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Okay, wealthy attempts are showing that wealthy white women and
- 16:49Speaker 3: African American males and Latino who voters voted a for
- 16:54Speaker 3: Donald Trump. Okay, and that's.
- 16:59Speaker 5: Uh, that's.
- 17:41Speaker 6: Ok okay, okay, it's nine right, okay, y okay, okay,
- 20:03Speaker 6: m hm okay, but you okay.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Okh okay okay. Well, now, according to both casts, A
- 20:42Speaker 3: People cast, it's demonstrating right here that Trump double his
- 20:48Speaker 3: numbers of young black males and twenty twenty four since
- 20:53Speaker 3: twenty twenty, and that the president of that Donald Trump. Okay,
- 21:00Speaker 3: fifty four percent MacDonald Trump at Marvin Harris's advantage of
- 21:05Speaker 3: fifty one percent and fifty three percent went for Trump
- 21:09Speaker 3: as opposed to forty six percent, but that margin was
- 21:13Speaker 3: somewhat narrow than President Joe Biden in twenty twenty. Okay,
- 21:17Speaker 3: according to survey in twenty twenty, broadcast shows that Byron
- 21:22Speaker 3: warn fifty five percent over women, while forty three percent
- 21:26Speaker 3: went for Donald Trump.
- 21:28Speaker 5: So now the question is this.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Women more women voted for Kamala Harris this time as
- 21:35Speaker 3: opposed to Donald Trump. So how is it longely impossible
- 21:39Speaker 3: that the majority of the boats donald Trump and that
- 21:43Speaker 3: he won off with with a majority of wife what
- 21:46Speaker 3: else you women? A majority of indication of African American
- 21:51Speaker 3: males and latinos. So again one went wrong for the
- 21:55Speaker 3: Democratic Party. That didn't go wrong for the Republican Party.
- 22:00Speaker 7: Uh okay, hey, yeah, okay, okay, okay.
- 23:11Speaker 8: Okay, man, okay okay.
- 23:22Speaker 3: Well here is another one. Can I get your opinion?
- 23:25Speaker 3: It says racist text messages reference and slavery raised his
- 23:29Speaker 3: alarms in multiple states and some investigations.
- 23:32Speaker 5: By the FBI.
- 23:33Speaker 3: The messages were sent to civil states New York, Alabama, California, Ohio, Pennsylvania,
- 23:40Speaker 3: and Tennessee, two black men, women, and students of schools
- 23:46Speaker 3: including midle schools. The report shows, okay, the messages indicated
- 23:52Speaker 3: it report to a plantation in North Carolina, comes to
- 23:58Speaker 3: university uh uh students calling them out by name as
- 24:04Speaker 3: being selected at the Pitt count these text fighting Donald
- 24:08Speaker 3: Trump's winning and and uh presidency over Kamala Harris this
- 24:13Speaker 3: week because the nature of these text messages are very
- 24:18Speaker 3: disturbing to say the least. The question is this, do
- 24:23Speaker 3: you think that the presidency slogan make America Great Again?
- 24:28Speaker 3: Is causing racial decision between the American people and is
- 24:35Speaker 3: just an impression that Donald Trump's overs are taken from
- 24:40Speaker 3: his his rhetoric.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I truly believe it is because when was American great?
- 24:50Speaker 3: Okay?
- 24:51Speaker 2: When was it? Where was it great?
- 24:56Speaker 3: Okay?
- 24:57Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 24:57Speaker 2: When was it great? When was America great? How? How
- 25:03Speaker 2: can you make something great great again? Yeah? Well, I
- 25:08Speaker 2: mean we would like to know when was America great?
- 25:12Speaker 3: Okay? So do you feel that the slogan of making
- 25:16Speaker 3: America great again as a total uh a racial divide
- 25:20Speaker 3: between in the United States at the day of Trump. Uh?
- 25:29Speaker 5: Okay, I know, mm.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Hmmm, that that doesn't make American great. Maybe they think
- 25:58Speaker 2: they made it, made it great for them, but it
- 26:00Speaker 2: didn't make it great. America ain't never been great never.
- 26:08Speaker 2: I mean it. I mean, they can go pick their
- 26:11Speaker 2: own cot they go report to the plantation, they can
- 26:16Speaker 2: nurse their own babies. You know this, I mean, ain't
- 26:25Speaker 2: nobody they They're not We're not gonna. We're not settling
- 26:29Speaker 2: for no settling for that. And that's why you guys
- 26:33Speaker 2: need to get you start using the wards.
- 26:58Speaker 5: M m hmm.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Ne exactly.
- 29:05Speaker 3: Exactly, okay, okay, okay, So with this question again, so
- 29:14Speaker 3: are you saying that based on this slogan of making
- 29:18Speaker 3: America great again? Is that slogan that's basically indicating that
- 29:23Speaker 3: there's a difference in white the black.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Yeah, we we know, Yeah, I mean America was it
- 29:34Speaker 2: has never been great. We all know that it never
- 29:39Speaker 2: been great. And it is a difference. You can see.
- 29:42Speaker 2: You can see it in uh, in the communities, the
- 29:45Speaker 2: different communities that you go into. In our communities, you
- 29:49Speaker 2: have a lot of liquor stores, you have a lot
- 29:51Speaker 2: of planned guarantee, a lot of marijuana medical marijuana shops
- 29:59Speaker 2: and ship setting up and uh. And when you go
- 30:03Speaker 2: into their community, you don't see liquor stories on every corner.
- 30:08Speaker 2: You don't see a lot of plan parents in their communities.
- 30:16Speaker 2: You don't see a lot of marijuana uh dispensaries set
- 30:21Speaker 2: up in their community. It's always all that stuff is
- 30:25Speaker 2: in our community. And why is that?
- 30:30Speaker 1: You know?
- 30:30Speaker 2: So it is you can you can see it in
- 30:32Speaker 2: the in the courts, juvenile okay, okay, you can see
- 30:39Speaker 2: it in the schools.
- 30:42Speaker 3: Okay. So with this question, now, do you feel in
- 30:46Speaker 3: your opinions did you think that in your opinion that
- 30:49Speaker 3: that'll talk administration is going to kill more to the
- 30:52Speaker 3: wealthy and they do the Northern American people.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Yes, he's going to cater to big business. That's a businessman,
- 31:02Speaker 2: and everybody that voted for him, in my opinion, is
- 31:06Speaker 2: going to see it's going to see exactly Donald Trump
- 31:12Speaker 2: this this time around, it's truly going to show who
- 31:16Speaker 2: he really is. He's going to show his hand. His
- 31:19Speaker 2: hand is is already been revealed. Now is going to
- 31:23Speaker 2: open up wider and it's going to open their eyes. Okay,
- 31:29Speaker 2: you know he he that's a business man. He you know,
- 31:33Speaker 2: he he His plan is to make this a where
- 31:38Speaker 2: we don't have to vote no more dictatorship. He wants
- 31:43Speaker 2: to He wants to be the great I am. And
- 31:46Speaker 2: he can't be the great I am. He's not the
- 31:48Speaker 2: big man.
- 31:49Speaker 3: Okay, okay, So what is your opinion? Campaign twelve idea
- 31:57Speaker 3: is about? And then uh cool? Uh what do you say?
- 32:01Speaker 3: School programs and a fount of the social vatunity and
- 32:06Speaker 3: you know, issues like.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Mhm h.
- 32:56Speaker 5: M hm.
- 33:06Speaker 2: Mm hmmm, and you know, and and I also I'm
- 33:37Speaker 2: want to add this into it. You know, when we
- 33:41Speaker 2: was in school, at least we did learn a little
- 33:45Speaker 2: something about black history when they gave us February. When
- 33:49Speaker 2: we are month was in February. Now the now they
- 33:57Speaker 2: have doctor Seuss, they celebrate doctor their suits and in February.
- 34:04Speaker 2: So the kids is learning to me, they learn the
- 34:07Speaker 2: morning about green eggs and ham instead of you know,
- 34:12Speaker 2: our culture. But when everybody else the he Hispanics, they
- 34:20Speaker 2: their culture. It's in the school. And I don't get
- 34:25Speaker 2: me wrong, I love their you know, I love their
- 34:30Speaker 2: culture as well, you know, but it's like our culture
- 34:39Speaker 2: is look like it's kind of like fading away. You know,
- 34:44Speaker 2: our kids don't know about dress Scott, about Frederick Douglas.
- 34:51Speaker 2: They don't know about matdam C. J. Walker. You know,
- 34:55Speaker 2: they don't know about who created the stop sign to
- 34:59Speaker 2: stop like all of that, all of these stuff that
- 35:01Speaker 2: all of these invention comes back to a black person,
- 35:07Speaker 2: and our kids is being deprived of that. You know,
- 35:11Speaker 2: I really didn't and I really didn't know about dred
- 35:15Speaker 2: Scott until I looked at the thirteenth Amendment. That's when
- 35:20Speaker 2: I that's when I really found out nine.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Okay, So all as he was saying that our government
- 37:03Speaker 3: within the past say two decades, have taken a lot
- 37:08Speaker 3: of the African American history out of texicooks in order
- 37:11Speaker 3: to deploy after American kids or be you know, potentional
- 37:16Speaker 3: message that they need in order to know.
- 37:17Speaker 5: Who they are.
- 37:19Speaker 2: I would think so because.
- 38:00Speaker 5: Yeh mm hmm okay, okay, h m hmm.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Okay, okay, okay, now they ain't can take.
- 38:35Speaker 3: Okay, okay. So my question here is this, because they
- 38:40Speaker 3: don't Trumpet won the presidency and the Senate is the
- 38:44Speaker 3: majority now Republicans, And how do you think or do
- 38:48Speaker 3: you feel that the Democratic Party is gonna have a
- 38:50Speaker 3: hard time of trying to continue in all past Now
- 38:53Speaker 3: we know.
- 38:53Speaker 2: That, yes they are, They're gonna have a hard time.
- 38:57Speaker 2: They're gonna have a hard time.
- 39:02Speaker 3: Okay.
- 39:03Speaker 2: With that being said, and you know they they getting
- 39:08Speaker 2: they getting real bold now you know what they wording
- 39:12Speaker 2: and stuff.
- 39:14Speaker 5: You know, I.
- 39:17Speaker 2: They just bowld they real bold. So yeah, the Democrats
- 39:20Speaker 2: ain't got a chance to pass anything if the if
- 39:26Speaker 2: the House is all Republicans.
- 39:31Speaker 3: Okay, okay. So you still that the Democratic Party did
- 39:38Speaker 3: enoughing there the elected in the four years that Joe
- 39:41Speaker 3: Biden has been in office and on his campaign tail
- 39:44Speaker 3: to win over the voters to see that you know
- 39:47Speaker 3: what I'm saying that the Democratic Party did enough of
- 39:50Speaker 3: them to want to vote for the Democratic Party as
- 39:52Speaker 3: opposed to the Republican Party.
- 39:56Speaker 2: The little that I've seen that I don't think they
- 40:00Speaker 2: did enough for. I don't think they did enough, and
- 40:06Speaker 2: I think that's why a lot of people went and
- 40:09Speaker 2: voted for Donald Trump. You know, when Angelo was talking
- 40:15Speaker 2: about them taking the EBT, you know, taking that program
- 40:23Speaker 2: away from the United States, you know, I was hearing
- 40:27Speaker 2: I was watching the news from New York yesterday were
- 40:32Speaker 2: they was reporting allegedly that the the immigrations that came over,
- 40:41Speaker 2: the migrants that came over, they was giving them three
- 40:46Speaker 2: hundred and fifty dollars every week for food. So that's
- 40:51Speaker 2: fourteen hundred dollars a month. When you have a citizen
- 40:58Speaker 2: that's on that type of they are not getting that
- 41:02Speaker 2: amount in food stamps.
- 41:05Speaker 5: Okay, So you know, and.
- 41:10Speaker 2: One Donald Donald Trump called that mayor, had to talk
- 41:14Speaker 2: to that mayor. Allegedly the mayor has stopped it. You know, no,
- 41:20Speaker 2: no more, that's it. And I feel right there, if
- 41:25Speaker 2: that is true that they were given that amount fourteen
- 41:31Speaker 2: hundred dollars in there and they was not United States citizen,
- 41:35Speaker 2: shame on the Democrats and the Republicans that did it.
- 41:40Speaker 2: I know, everybody need food to eat, but they need
- 41:48Speaker 2: to take care of home first, because we have homeless.
- 41:51Speaker 2: The homeless population is as big we have people here,
- 41:57Speaker 2: we have families. That's that's in need a full two
- 42:04Speaker 2: two incomes. It's not sustainable, sustainable, No more gas in
- 42:11Speaker 2: California's five dollars. You got, bread is like three dollars
- 42:16Speaker 2: and stuff. Everything is so expensive right now, can't the
- 42:21Speaker 2: citizens can barely afford to eat. But you're gonna come
- 42:26Speaker 2: and give somebody else fourteen dollars to eat every month
- 42:30Speaker 2: and plus your housing there. You know to me that
- 42:36Speaker 2: that doesn't make sense. Yeah, shame on them, you know,
- 42:40Speaker 2: really they they didn't do nothing for the American people.
- 42:45Speaker 4: Okay, So is it in your opinion that, based on
- 42:49Speaker 4: Donald Trump's campaign trailed that the Democratic Party didn't do
- 42:54Speaker 4: it enough to secure the borders and that the Democratic
- 42:57Speaker 4: Party has allowed for our borders to be crowded with
- 43:00Speaker 4: illegal immigrants coming here into the United States, that that
- 43:04Speaker 4: ang the Democratic Party?
- 43:07Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, oh yeah, I think that right there to
- 43:10Speaker 2: that right there devastated them them borders. And that's that's
- 43:16Speaker 2: my opinion. You know, I don't have nothing against nobody
- 43:20Speaker 2: want to come over here and get a better life.
- 43:24Speaker 3: But do it right, you know, Okay, do it right.
- 43:30Speaker 2: Okay, you know we I mean, we're struggling over here
- 43:34Speaker 2: as it is.
- 43:37Speaker 3: Okay, okay. So in your opinion, now, did you think
- 43:43Speaker 3: that there's anything new that the Democratic Party right now
- 43:47Speaker 3: and do to try to get the Democrats back into
- 43:50Speaker 3: the presidency and to win the House and the Senate again,
- 43:54Speaker 3: do you think that anything different that they can change
- 43:57Speaker 3: right now going forward to get the Democrats back on
- 44:01Speaker 3: the right track and all for the American people to
- 44:03Speaker 3: wound both of the Democrats as opposed to the republic appointment.
- 44:09Speaker 2: Basically, in my opinion, we need our need young people.
- 44:18Speaker 2: We did. I mean, we probably got some young ones
- 44:21Speaker 2: up in there, but we need people in there that's
- 44:24Speaker 2: actually truly that's gonna come in there and fight for
- 44:29Speaker 2: the American citizens, not going there and be about you know,
- 44:37Speaker 2: whatever agenda everybody else is on. If you truly say
- 44:42Speaker 2: that you love your people and all of this stuff,
- 44:45Speaker 2: you love the people going there, and you fight for
- 44:48Speaker 2: the people because you see what is in need. You
- 44:52Speaker 2: see medical, our seniors, the health plan that's you know,
- 44:59Speaker 2: we need better help plans. We the medication is so
- 45:03Speaker 2: high that some of the seniors cannot cannot afford it.
- 45:10Speaker 3: Okay, you know, going there and do something.
- 45:14Speaker 2: For the people. That's just like you go like you're
- 45:17Speaker 2: at work. You know, you become a super you you
- 45:21Speaker 2: you were with us first and then you become a supervisor.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Now you don't change, you don't flip, and you acting
- 45:29Speaker 2: like them, and you forgot where you came from. A
- 45:32Speaker 2: lot of people that gets in the office, they forget
- 45:36Speaker 2: where they came from. They forget the struggle.
- 45:40Speaker 7: Okay, okay, okay, okay.
- 45:45Speaker 3: So under your so in your opinion, okay, under the
- 45:50Speaker 3: presidency of the Democratic Party, okay, COVID nineteen, do you
- 45:54Speaker 3: feel that the Democratic Party did anything to change stuff
- 45:59Speaker 3: the dynamics of the world, I mean the United States, Uh,
- 46:03Speaker 3: we're going in the economy, We're going in the the
- 46:07Speaker 3: help help with health crisis or border on anything that
- 46:12Speaker 3: you know would have made America better than today than
- 46:15Speaker 3: it was under the still behind the administration.
- 46:21Speaker 2: Once again, I'm, I'm this is my opinion, and I
- 46:27Speaker 2: really doesn't don't follow politics like this because, it, as
- 46:35Speaker 2: my husband said, raised my blood pressure every time he
- 46:39Speaker 2: talked to me. He said, girl, your blood your blood
- 46:41Speaker 2: pressure going up because you just so worked up stopped
- 46:44Speaker 2: looking at that. So I really kind of I really
- 46:49Speaker 2: don't follow it. I don't watch it, but I haven't
- 46:55Speaker 2: seen no change. I really haven't seen no change, no man.
- 47:02Speaker 3: No, Okay, So what the being said? We have four
- 47:07Speaker 3: years of ballot and the four years administration of Ballota,
- 47:12Speaker 3: who also had a Senate at the House. What do
- 47:15Speaker 3: you think America is gonna look like that?
- 47:21Speaker 7: I think that.
- 47:25Speaker 2: Of more people that that hid behind the cloth, okay,
- 47:33Speaker 2: is really gonna take the cloth off their head, they
- 47:37Speaker 2: face and be seen.
- 47:42Speaker 3: Okay.
- 47:44Speaker 2: You know, I believe that our kids are our grandkids.
- 47:50Speaker 2: It's going to experience a lot of a lot of hate.
- 47:56Speaker 2: You know, I can I truly feel it. I feel
- 48:02Speaker 2: it because I see it in the conversations with people
- 48:09Speaker 2: that that I work around. You know, I hear it,
- 48:16Speaker 2: you know, but you know it's it's gonna really hold
- 48:24Speaker 2: on hold on to y'all seat stays, stay prayed to.
- 48:28Speaker 2: That's all I gotta say.
- 48:29Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, so it is a good one. Do you
- 48:33Speaker 3: think that government judicial system help put the Donard Trump
- 48:38Speaker 3: get to the non election by given him qualified immunity
- 48:42Speaker 3: to some prosecution of other issues related to just selling
- 48:48Speaker 3: conditions and all these other charges that he's facing right
- 48:51Speaker 3: now in fller for him to win in the presidency.
- 48:54Speaker 3: Do you feel that they played a role in this
- 48:57Speaker 3: process when in fact they put up prevented him from
- 49:00Speaker 3: running to office.
- 49:01Speaker 6: I
